- 4:10share something. So tonight I have y'all know I'm on t dc J,
- 4:15So y'all tonight, we're gonna continue to saga. We're gonna continue to let
- 4:19you guys know what is going on behind those walls. They're in Texas,
- 4:24and we're gonna be hearing from who do we have tonight? If you will
- 4:29please tell us your name? You know, how are you? How are
- 4:36you? How are you? I tell you now, I can't complain.
- 4:46I won't complain on me to complain, so it could be worse. But
- 4:51I tell you I'm grateful. I'm thankful for you because oftentimes we share what's
- 5:00going on behind whiles, but I get comments about what people are saying about
- 5:05different things, and you know, well, people deserve this, and people
- 5:11deserve this. One thing I can say is, regardless of what we do,
- 5:17we are humans and we deserve to be treated like humans. We should
- 5:21not be treated like testers and and and betal projects, and we should not
- 5:30be used as a scientific hypothosis. And you know experiments. So with that
- 5:39being said, I really want you to share with us some things that can
- 5:46you tell us first a little bit about yourself. How long you have been
- 5:49there, N T, D, C J, and what you have noticed
- 5:54over the time that you have been there, and some of your concerns.
- 6:00Well, I've been locked up fourteen years, fourteen and a half actions and
- 6:08prison, the mentality, yeah, the inmates and for gods, it's it's
- 6:18nothing like that because it's never seen before the transformation of where it's really going.
- 6:26Because right now there's a huge shortage s stam on the shortage of staff
- 6:33to the problem and it's create couples of untaped nonscaped environment around here for the
- 6:42officers and for the inmates. Uh, you've got you've got complexities within.
- 6:49Yes, I can understand how all individuals and society may feel like we have
- 6:54a reason to complain, But it's the same token. We're human, we
- 7:01made mistakes, Yet there's a lack of empathy for us for the mistakes made.
- 7:08I'm not saying that we're always a hundred stand right. I'm not saying
- 7:12that people don't deserve to to creative restricution because the things that they're done.
- 7:17But yet still when prison becomes a difference to the individuals of us that's in
- 7:27here now, that's the issues that I didn't sign up to be coming here,
- 7:30to be put into a situation where my life is in dangerous and life
- 7:38is being dangered with with medical issues. If you have if you have a
- 7:43shortage of staff and say that you know, because I'm the type two guy,
- 7:48be me saying and my singleiclotkin from protect with something. Who's who cannot
- 7:56you want to do? Is a lot if you don't have no gords doing
- 8:00their wrongs or doing the things they're gos to a But when you do a
- 8:05short staff, you have no you have nobody doing the check to make sure
- 8:11that everyone is say uh so okay. So typically how often do you say
- 8:18a guard is coming around? They don't. They come around as when they
- 8:26may count and then the count you want to see them until maybe so it's
- 8:33just rack times that you won't see them no more again for their time you
- 8:39have no guard. There's the pickets out here you have you have almost three
- 8:46thousand in May and you had four houses come to work yesterday. So let's
- 8:50talk about let's let's let's talk about a incident that happened there on your particular
- 8:56unit in the commy. Okay, So I received a call saying that someone
- 9:05had had seizure and there was no officer available, so they had to call
- 9:13their loved one to call someone at the front desk. Are you familiar with
- 9:20that incident? When you get again? Uh? Yeah, you have a
- 9:26seizure in there was no there was no one, There was no officers.
- 9:31Then the picket to get their attention. Because you have like you have like
- 9:39you had the front doors doors, then you have flying doors on each section.
- 9:43You have a section, be section and sea section, so you have
- 9:48a tower in the middle where guard is usually in. There was nobody there
- 9:52because they were short of staff. You have someone that took the death,
- 9:56so nobody pit the death. Then there's nobody too, and everybody's locked in
- 10:00the film because they're not going to because your fail. So a feature,
- 10:09well you don't know what to do. Journey off the head? Uh?
- 10:18And another guy? You know, the phones unless you have a tampt.
- 10:22Now what they've been doing lately, they can That's another thing. That's another
- 10:30thing we need to talk about. That's another thing that we need to talk
- 10:33about. But let's clear up the this incident. Because I wrote to the
- 10:39unbuzzment. I also wrote to the Office of Inspector General. Because matter of
- 10:46fact, I copy just about twenty different people in this letter that I send
- 10:52out all the time. So individuals can't say that they don't know that this
- 10:56happened, that this happened, this happened. I also post sit on the
- 11:00blog, I write about it in the magazine, so people cannot say that
- 11:03they don't know that these things are happening. I have been coming across a
- 11:07lot of people that are not aware of a lot of these situations because they
- 11:13say they don't have anybody in the business system. So okay, I can
- 11:16understand that, because you know what, until about two three years ago,
- 11:20I was not aware of a lot of this stuff. So I can't be
- 11:24mad at them. So what we do now is we bring awareness. We
- 11:30have to bring awareness, We have to continue to bring awareness. And so
- 11:35with that being said, how would what would be a solution to what happened
- 11:45and keeping that from happening, Because not only that happened, but there was
- 11:48some other incidents where there was a individual a G two that was stabbed by
- 11:54G four or something like that. And oh, here about the situation.
- 12:01This is what happened. We have we have G two inmates, which is
- 12:05populations status inmate that hasn't been in trouble, their own medium courty, which
- 12:11they come on Miss Hobs and they don't have no hosting for them to be
- 12:15in population. So what they did they took half a siston of the the
- 12:20guys that's on medium custody, the ones that's been in trouble, the ones
- 12:24that that they're major cases, uh that there their threat to uh to their
- 12:28inmate population. So they put these inmates over there with these guys. So
- 12:33they're in the day wrong. Well, while you know, the guy rigged
- 12:39his door, the door opened him and the silly they come down there with
- 12:43the guys, put the many with the fan motor and they want to stab
- 12:48them. Wow. Wow. And so those guys that were in there on
- 12:56that section, whatever happened, they shifted, they got rid of and we
- 13:00don't hear nothing. So they come, they come, they showing them and
- 13:05they them into other units. Were called to the family members of the individual
- 13:09that died and the other time that was consulted to be questioned about us,
- 13:13won't show anybody else. Okay, if somebody on the unit that is like,
- 13:26and then what there is right shown to stand they want trying to say
- 13:31the officer, they're saying, there's nothing to saturate your claim. Yeah,
- 13:37they'll say not not enough evidence. They'll say insufficient evidence because I've had reports
- 13:46sent back to me about it, because I send it stuff all the time.
- 13:50But see what's gonna happen is everybody that have loved ones on the outside,
- 13:54they're gonna have to start writing and even people that just advocate, you
- 13:56know, we're gonna have to start writing these people and let them these people
- 14:00know, Hey, we see y'all, we see what you're doing. You
- 14:03can't get away with this. You you've been getting away with it, and
- 14:05that's what's been happening. But see what's happening is a lot of stuff that
- 14:09these people have been doing. It's starting to get exposed. See, being
- 14:13quiet and not talking about it, that has that that has kept it these
- 14:20people able to do it. But talking about it and putting it out here
- 14:22and exposing it, they can't do it. No, they can't continue to
- 14:26get away with it. They can't continue to hide it because guess what,
- 14:31you you can't keep getting away with understaffing because guess what, people keep loved
- 14:37ones keep coming up there, people loved ones keep coming up on suicide or
- 14:41watch people keep I mean, they add an extra trauma to y'all and people
- 14:46don't understand aunt. But okay, see what this is what I was and
- 15:09what I have been saying, and I'm gonna continue to say until everybody you
- 15:15know I can send in town blue in the face. I can do it.
- 15:18But I'm one person. But and to everybody that has a loved one
- 15:22in parts of stand up for their loved ones and say something for their loved
- 15:26ones and say, okay, we're not accepting this no more. I mean,
- 15:28regardless of what you're done. I mean, we all make mistakes,
- 15:31a lot of us, some of us should be in prison. But because
- 15:35we did not get caught, we got away with it. We got away
- 15:37with it. So guess what. Because we got away with it, we
- 15:41need to be trying to show our loved ones how to to to do what
- 15:45they need to do to get home, because everybody deserves a second chance to
- 15:48get what Texas think and what a lot of these states think about second chances
- 15:54and all these laws. See what they do is they break so many laws,
- 15:58trying to throw away the key and trying to lock our people away and
- 16:03trying to take our people's lives. They make so many mistakes because guess what,
- 16:10you you can't miss you the way I said, touching out my muntion
- 16:15and be my profit, no harm. People got to understand who we are.
- 16:18We are naturally we are the chosen ones. And then people go over
- 16:21there and they read over there in Hebrews, and you got to understand that.
- 16:25And people got to understand that. Not only that, they go over
- 16:27and read in Genesis fifteen. I think it is fifteen. I forget what
- 16:33verse it is, but it's over there in fifteen it where it stands that
- 16:37we are the chosen. And we got to you got to know that you
- 16:41are the chosen. But just knowing that you are the chosen, if we
- 16:44be quiet, like see, people been quiet, they've been yes sailing and
- 16:48yes, ma'am. Too long. You've been worrying about keeping up with the
- 16:52Joneses instead of trying to get your own and trying to excel and trying to
- 16:56help bring somebody else up. So that we are as a as a as
- 17:00a as a culture, as a we got to get back to that village
- 17:07mentality. We lost it. We we lost about caring about each other.
- 17:11That that at the end of the day, we can do all that other
- 17:15stuff. We can do all that we can. We can write, we
- 17:19can we can call, we can protest, we can do all that.
- 17:25But if everybody not, if we're not gonna be consistent and don't need doing
- 17:29it, because a lot of people they're they'll start something and then that stopped.
- 17:33Like a lot of people, I gave them an opportunity to come on
- 17:38share on the podcast, you know, and they thought that, you know,
- 17:41sharing on the podcast was just gonna change their lives drastically when you got
- 17:48to share this podcast, like right now. Black Diamond did a podcast the
- 17:52other day. Her podcast is already just a clip, and that's just one
- 17:57of her clips, already hitting over to thousand people just the clip thirty seconds,
- 18:06and the rest of like a lot of them hitting five hundred. Like
- 18:11I ain't even really checked the day to see what it is. But because
- 18:15they share and they use their voice and they talk about things that are affecting
- 18:19the community, and it's gonna take a lot of us. Okay, how
- 18:23many people are you talking to Casey on that on that platform, on that,
- 18:29on that, on that sell block with you and telling them to get
- 18:33their family to connect with If they don't want to connect with me, you
- 18:37got toet. You got other organizations out here just doing stuff. That's I
- 18:44see people doing stuff. The individuals you can tell you, but you can't
- 18:51make them. Yeah, you do, you can. You can lead them
- 18:55to Green counties, but sometimes you just don't want to eat. You love
- 19:00your neighbors. You love yourself. If you don't love yourself, you love
- 19:04your neighbors. If you don't want to help yourself, you don't want to
- 19:08help your neighbor. And you're standing blind on when the wrong is being built
- 19:11to something and when you have a right to do something if you have the
- 19:15opportunity to do it, but they don't want to do it. A lot
- 19:18of people are scared, and I'm understanding the feel of because I'm in here,
- 19:23I take for anyone, anyone that needs my help. But even this
- 19:27form, I tell them about the long situation. I try to help indivisions
- 19:32to build their chances or not getting in trouble. If they get bogus cases.
- 19:37I try to do that, like like yesterday, I'm going to I'm
- 19:41going to instantly getting getting my sugar check. And I watched the inmate just
- 19:48he's walking with a captain and from the twelve building, which is where like
- 19:52that big environment come under there while he by this back then walking with his
- 19:59black song the white dogs and told him put up your clothes the strip search.
- 20:04He said, why you strip searching a man? Why are you run?
- 20:07You don't want to do it against that this and and get out your
- 20:10clothes. He said, you just want to look at me. This is
- 20:12what you want to do. So they came out of the cloth. You
- 20:15say, now you send the fine. He said, let me see your
- 20:18cant let me see yourself. Then he's stripping in front of a female and
- 20:21you're not stripping in like that, degrading them and making them feel less than
- 20:26anything, and like the one you stripped this man, but making like that.
- 20:33That's the type of abuse they do when you don't have family behind,
- 20:36that's what they do to you. They want to humiliated, They want to
- 20:38let you feel them less than a man. But you're not supposed to be
- 20:41stripping. They make they got, they got thereas that they have a fund.
- 20:45When you strip strip searches, then you're not supposed to be doing a
- 20:49man like that. It's just what you want to do it. So how
- 20:55many people? How many people was traumatized by that? How many people gonna
- 21:00start that? How many people was traumatized by that? I'm saying how many
- 21:03people saw that? So that affected y'all? So when when things happened,
- 21:08like, how did you feel when that happened? Did that do something to
- 21:11you? Did that make you feel some type of way? Because that could
- 21:15have been you, right, that could have been you, right? Okay,
- 21:21So everybody that saw that, they should have been doing a grievance.
- 21:23They should have been writing a grievance against that officer that did that. You
- 21:26know what, because if you keep writing grievances, people think that no writing
- 21:30grievances ain't And yeah, you let keep letting me know, keep having these
- 21:37conversations, keep coming on these shows, keep doing not just my show,
- 21:41but keep getting on every every opportunity y'all get. Y'all should be sharing y'all
- 21:45story, y'all should be getting out here because in Colorado, let me tell
- 21:48you what they're doing in Colorado. See, they don't have tablets. They
- 21:52don't have the opportunity like y'all have the opportunity to write books. Like well,
- 21:57they can write, they can write books if they got people that like
- 22:00really help them. But they don't have tablets. You know, they can
- 22:03they can do the e messages, but they can't really communicate like like they
- 22:08want to. They can call, and they don't have a lot of stuff.
- 22:12And I know, y'all just not getting a lot of the opportunities that
- 22:15y'all are getting. Y'all just not starting to get it. And then it's
- 22:18still y'all don't get a lot of the stuff that they promise y'all. And
- 22:25and see that's another thing. But one of my major things is right now
- 22:30is that food, that that that that water and the fact that we talk
- 22:37about the parole issue that's going on right now because they blaming short staff,
- 22:45like short staff all the way around. But it seemed like to me,
- 22:48if you were short staff and you got people that's coming up for parole,
- 22:52you should be you should be getting you should be letting them come home,
- 22:55because if you letting them come home, then that's less people that you got
- 22:57to worry about. But see, they don't look at it that way.
- 23:02They don't look at it that way. You know. I'm seeing. I'm
- 23:04in a lot of groups, you know, and I try to stay connected.
- 23:08I try to communicate with people, and I'm in a lot of different
- 23:11groups. So there's a group that I'm in, and there's a young lady
- 23:15saying that her husband got a F one if I won or something like that.
- 23:21And they was asking somebody how long it will before they come home.
- 23:26They say he could come home any day now, thirty days, forty days,
- 23:30how you know any day now? And somebody say, well, my
- 23:33my loved one got an f I won in December and they still locked up
- 23:37here it is, and it's finna be made. I mean, well,
- 23:42how are they doing that? I mean, you got people huh yeah,
- 23:52That's what I'm saying. They not let them go, So how are they
- 23:53doing that? How are you issuing people releases? And then you're keeping them
- 24:00that's just like you're keeping them hottes. You're keeping them against their will.
- 24:03That's like kidnapping them. So can the I wonder can the families found kidnapping
- 24:07charges and and different things of that nature. Because like I know, Cornell
- 24:12getting ready to come up, he's supposed to come up, and may like
- 24:18so, why is why have they not brought him up? Why have they
- 24:22not brought him? Why have they not took none of his stuff? Why
- 24:26have they not called him? Why have they not had that conversation with him?
- 24:29Why they have not done all that? Because moses that when I mean
- 24:42it could be like it's time for some of these people to get out.
- 24:47I mean, it's whether they whether they give him parole or not. Some
- 24:49of these people already at the door. They it's already. It's crazy,
- 25:04man, these people it's all about money and and and and we have we
- 25:11we broke it down. We talked about it, you know, Shanet and
- 25:15myself and some more people. We're gonna get together and we're gonna start breaking
- 25:18down some of these cases. We're gonna start going over some stuff. We're
- 25:22gonna start breaking down some of these loss in these different states. We're gonna
- 25:25start comparing some of this stuff. We're gonna start showing people, you know,
- 25:29how these states are getting over and how they are you know, utilizing
- 25:33you know, these these these bodies they're on the utilizing these bodies for in
- 25:41industrial reasons. Yes, we got y'all that gave it to us, but
- 25:51we spend money on it. And why on the weekends when y'all issues going
- 26:00on, y'all communication off with our family. You won't let us to write
- 26:03anything off enough. We can't even spend on a message. We can't the
- 26:10phone off when every time something happens to me. That's that's the worst thing
- 26:17when you when you individuals in that fashion where they can't communicate with their family
- 26:22members. But that's what they doing because a lot of stuff, a lot
- 26:26of stuff is coming down on TDCJ, A lot of stuff is coming down
- 26:30on the state of Texas because they've been getting away with a lot of stuff.
- 26:34You know, a lot of people are getting vindicated from a lot of
- 26:38stuff. A lot of the these cases where these people have used their authority,
- 26:42what they have used their power to imprison people and and to ruin people's
- 26:48lives. It it's starting to come to the light. You know that lady
- 26:52so Cornell had reached out to the lady that come on and and y'all was
- 26:59talking about her wanting to expose the District Attorney's office or whatever. Well,
- 27:06yeah, she she's a part of her name miss Allison, what she's a
- 27:15whatever, her name is Allison, she's a part of she's a part of.
- 27:19Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know who
- 27:22the other one. I don't know all of them. I'm just saying I
- 27:25know her name came up in this case. That that this girl just got
- 27:29out of prison. She was for six years, and she's getting ready to
- 27:33through a whole bunch of people, and they getting ready to get They asking
- 27:40for Governor Abbot. They got the NA A CP involved, they got the
- 27:44A L, L A C. Whatever the people is. They got a
- 27:47lot of people involved. They got a young guy. No, her name
- 27:52is, it's a young lady. It's a young lady. Her name is
- 27:56Casey. If they want to say her name is Casey. But I don't,
- 27:59don't get me to lie. I have to Carnell know what I'm talking
- 28:03about. I just it just came up. It happened four weeks ago.
- 28:07She just came out of prison. She just got the lady did six years.
- 28:11See see what the state of Texas have been known to do. And
- 28:15this is what a prime example and a lot of cases should be overturned because
- 28:21of what happened in this case. Because you look at this young lady's case
- 28:25and this all about something about gonna voting. This is all about some voting.
- 28:30They ruined this lady's life. They could have had her business took from
- 28:34her, They could have had her kids took from her, and her house
- 28:37took from her because her neighbor decided to say that she was not elgible to
- 28:47vote and just did all kind of lives, told all kind of lives and
- 28:52costs, and these people used stay political positions to go against her. And
- 28:56when I tell you, these people came up and they spoke that I'm gonna
- 29:00share. I'm gonna share the YouTube for those that are tune in that want
- 29:03to see and on what I'm talking about. I'm gonna share it so y'all
- 29:07can see exactly what I'm talking about, so y'all can see. But this
- 29:10has been happening, and it's happening all over the state of Texas, and
- 29:12it's happening to a lot of these individuals that are locked up. Yeah,
- 29:17some of them did commit their crime, but they over incarcerated them. They
- 29:23use their political powers to get over sentences when you know, some of the
- 29:30sentences, it's just ridiculous. And it's not just happening in the state of
- 29:34Texas. And that's one thing we want to, you know, keep recognizing
- 29:38it's not just happening in state of Texas. It's happening in South Carolina.
- 29:41It's happening in Colorado, it's happening in New York, it's happening in Philadelphia.
- 29:45It's happening everywhere, y'all, And we got to speak up. Wherever
- 29:49our loved ones are. We have to speak up, and we have to
- 29:52be a voice for them. We can't keep allowing people to do what they
- 29:57want to do and then say it's okay, Like right now, Cheanette's husband
- 30:03out there in Colorado records steal. Why why would a judge seal his records
- 30:07and not allow him access to his records to be able to defend himself When
- 30:11y'all have wrongfully and and and overly incarcerated this man. Not only did you
- 30:17wrongfully incarcerate him, but you overly incarcerated him because you you you try to
- 30:22charge him with something that happened and then you you got a conviction because of
- 30:26something that never happened. And it made no sense, like it takes Shannette
- 30:30to really break it down and tell you exactly what happened. And it's crazy
- 30:36because guess what what happened to him has happened to so many of you guys,
- 30:41and I hear it all the time. I hear it all the time.
- 30:42That's what the position stuffs, and then take advantage of the situation,
- 30:52the conviction. They don't care about you, right or wrong. They don't
- 30:56care now one thing about up they're supposed to be about, just supposed to
- 31:02be about friends. They're They're not being about friends. They're about right and
- 31:06wrong and their abuse, their dogge. When they get these convictions, when
- 31:08they give you all the time like I'm not, like I always said,
- 31:15innocent. I noticed, boss, I get fifty years in prison like they
- 31:21gave I have to do half of that time, and I'm going to to
- 31:25come up with coole. But I heard the assistant DA said that they couldn't
- 31:30unise my pa thing to to entence my to be able to give me the
- 31:37time that they gave. I was supposed to be challenged like most The first
- 31:41time that I've never been in trouble, I was younger, but that was
- 31:48there's people right now. But there's people right now that are committing crimes every
- 31:53day out here right now, you know, there's committing crimes every day.
- 31:57There's a guy right now. Guy killed his wife point black range with a
- 32:01solid our shotgun. He told her, he told her, and it's on
- 32:06camera. Nothing nobody we saw the camera. They keep playing it. He
- 32:10told her that he's going to meet her maker, and he shot her and
- 32:16she died. So guess what they gave her. They gave him ten years
- 32:21for killing his wife on camera. Anybody else they would have gave what if
- 32:25it hadn't been us, they would have thrown the book at us. We
- 32:28would have got some years plus we would have got a capital life sentence,
- 32:32probably two three. They would have did all kind of stuff to throw different
- 32:35kind of stuff at us. That's what they do. That's what they do
- 32:38in the state of Text, what all over all right all over the United
- 32:43States, that's what they do. Y'all call is gonna call back. I
- 32:51tell you, every opportunity I get to allow them the opportunity to come on
- 32:59and share. They're they're they're in a situation right now where water is scarce.
- 33:08They they have to order bottles of water, and then they only allow
- 33:12them to get twenty twenty four at a time, which if they drink drink
- 33:16three bottles of water a day, it's only gonna last them eight days.
- 33:22But they bring bottles of water in every day for the guards. So if
- 33:27you can bring water in every day for the guards, why can't you bring
- 33:29it in for the prisons through the is the prisoner's lives not it is the
- 33:35prisoner's lives not value as much as the guards. But you will make them
- 33:39drink that water. That something that's wrong with and been documented that there's something
- 33:45wrong with the water, Like I don't get it, like this is this
- 33:52is what they're doing too all over, not just in the state of Texas,
- 33:58They're doing it everywhere. You can, I guarantee you you can go
- 34:01and you can check your water and see what is going on with the water
- 34:08in prisons. And it's always an issue. You always gonna have someone talking
- 34:14about what's going on with the water. It always smells, it always it
- 34:20just it's terrible. And it's always something with the food. It's always something
- 34:24with the housing, something always going on goods. That's them calling back y'all.
- 34:39Well again, it's just it's it's always something conversation. Hello, Hello,
- 34:58Yes, okay. So I was telling those that are tuned in,
- 35:05because there's some individuals that are tuned in. Shout out to Cheanette Whiteside.
- 35:10She's one of the hosts on the Coup podcast. Shout out to Arthur Black
- 35:15Diamonds. She's one of the hosts on the Cool Podcast. Shout out to
- 35:19Trevida. She's one of the hosts over here on the Cool podcast. Patrice
- 35:24Brinball, she's one of the hosts that with Hell the Tanya Michelle Little chimed
- 35:31in, So chiming in. But back to you. We were talking about
- 35:37the water crisis. We were talking about we we talked about the parole,
- 35:40we talked about the shortage. But let's talk about the water and the food
- 35:45that that that that's what I want to talk about. Let's talk about the
- 35:49water and the food because I've been I have a list of foods that they
- 36:00have been serving over on the McConnell unit and it's been nothing but Johnny.
- 36:06And for those that are tuned in that may not know what a Johnny is,
- 36:09because a lot of people don't know what Johnny's are. They're not familiar
- 36:14with the lingo. So tell everybody what a Johnny is, Johnny sack Mill
- 36:20is. This is what it's consistent. This is what they tread us today.
- 36:25We're all men peanut butter and jenny sous just mixed with peanut butter and
- 36:30jelly and turve and just watered up. The other day. It may have
- 36:36a little bit of ground meat uh spone size. Uh today we had they
- 36:45said it was tunea saturn. Now tone the saturn. It's supposed to be
- 36:49fall inces of meat. But what they're feeding are discycle meat mixed with uh
- 36:58make salle dress and may have or something. And sometimes it's just the tulas
- 37:01sat a dressing or sometimes they're straight tune them. It depends on how they
- 37:06want to fix it. But the male is just consisted of with the thief
- 37:10amount to feed the individual. In here is the lower calorie count for the
- 37:16way for long, the nutritional standard for a man to be sustainable. In
- 37:22here, the joint meal comes me to have uh twobetes. That's what I'm
- 37:30coming that. I've been trying to maintain it. I've been keeping my numbers
- 37:35right on that but that's the reason why I've been having problems with my health
- 37:42is because of that. I've lost thirty in one month because of the way
- 37:45they feel. And that's what you put in those situations where my health is
- 37:52at stake. But they're doing that, and then when you when you try
- 37:55to tell them about what what what it is can shifted on CDC standard j
- 38:02H not for help for the speed because they have a whole list one they're
- 38:09supposed to see, they gonna do that. But the ward when told me
- 38:14when I'm from agree, he said that it's not it's not the kitchen staff
- 38:19that's doing it to there's not money them, it's the inmates that's feeding you,
- 38:23doing you like this. It's your own it's your own kindness in there.
- 38:28But just that sas they don't saying a couper box to be supervisors,
- 38:32so little supervis So okay, So you so you telling okay. So he's
- 38:40trying to say that the inmates are the ones that selling you that. So
- 38:45who allow whoever fixing the food? Who who give them what they're supposed to
- 38:49feed? Do they just go in there and decide, Oh, they just
- 38:52want to flop. I'm saying, do they just go in there and say
- 38:53they just don't flop some peanut butter on there, or that's just what it
- 38:57is. I mean, that's what they told to do, and that's what
- 39:00they do, so you can't throw it out on that's what the other inmates
- 39:05are doing because they're doing what they told to do. I can guarantee you
- 39:08that's what they do. So okay, so you work in the kitchen,
- 39:12so what's going on? So what was going on when you worked in the
- 39:16kitchen? So what happened? Yeah, supert, the mess, the warning,
- 39:28trying to throw it off and it's okay, So okay, so who
- 39:38okay, so since you worked in the kitchen, so who do we who?
- 39:42Who do we blame so that we know who to who to who to
- 39:45get on? Because us, because they're the one that super boled in everything
- 39:55that they need to fix it, they got to give it to them.
- 40:00And then you got an opposite. They're standing right there while they fixing the
- 40:02Johnny. So we can't say, you know, we take you calen of
- 40:06somebody. But I used to work in there, you know, I don't
- 40:10take it. But the man they got me out the kitchen because I speak
- 40:14up. I'm making Johnny's, but I'm making them Johnny's approbably where somebody's gonna
- 40:20give I'm not gonna be put down that Chelly and stuff, and it's who
- 40:23wants peanut butter in there. I'm gonna fix the appropriate Johnny he puts that,
- 40:28I'm gonna put the meat on there. You're gonna have media and you're
- 40:30gonna that you post it's gonna have the four hours of meat. So what
- 40:32I was doing I was supposed to do because well, I'm only trying to
- 40:37eat like I want to eat. No fix it like the regulations finds signing
- 40:42that you post that they said you supposed to have with everything in it,
- 40:45which is four hours of meat, but they want you to put uh a
- 40:50little bitty scripture. That's right, the meat with Tina butter. You post
- 40:55that two ounces of peanut butter. They're gonna only give you less than I
- 41:00have. But that's not what it is. But the Johnny's that you're still
- 41:04missing the nutritional value far as vegetables. You're not getting vegetables, you're not
- 41:08getting true you're not getting the finger that you need to sustain it. Don't
- 41:13help you want to know why people got Downbetes. You want to why people
- 41:16coming up with counseling because there's a lot of caunter coming up in here.
- 41:21And I believe the count is coming from the water. Because the water they
- 41:24got a fund that comes in when you when your family or physics to come
- 41:29up to the youth, they said do not drink use only. So why
- 41:35do you have something that says in the use only and you're not and you
- 41:38you got but you won't even let nobody from society. You don't even let
- 41:43your office drink. They got the waters that they go along that the unit.
- 41:51They got these chances for for the officers, and they drink bottle water,
- 41:55but you want us to drink the water from the drowsed in the same
- 42:00what you're saying is not good members each telling them when you know, but
- 42:08what you're telling for the inmates. But you always calling people out to do.
- 42:13Then you go to land their blood working people down there every every six
- 42:20months or yeah, because they want to see they want to see what what
- 42:24is development, They want to see what kind of what what is forming you
- 42:28know from all of these experiments that they're doing, because it's it's it's all
- 42:32different kinds of experiments, the food from from down to the food, the
- 42:37food, the water. You know, even mentally, you know, some
- 42:42of these people is going crazy mentally. They're killing theirself, they're cutting off
- 42:45their penises, they're doing all kind of stuff. You know, this stuff
- 42:49is happening. This stuff is happening for real, and people not it's just
- 42:52like nobody's talking about it. Everybody's being quiet. It's time out for being
- 42:57quiet. It's time out for sitting on the side lies, watching other people
- 43:05you know come on the podcast, watching other people you know, write articles,
- 43:08watch other people you know share different things to you know, bring light
- 43:13to what's going on. It's gonna take everybody. It's gonna take family members
- 43:16on the outside, going to these courthouses, standing on these court steps,
- 43:22going to these different places. We can't be quiet, not in this season,
- 43:25because people lives have been affected. Too many people have been put behind
- 43:29these prison walls. Not right, Like the governor needs to be impeached,
- 43:36The governor needs to be impeached, the Lieutenant governor needs to be impeached,
- 43:40the attorney general need to be impeached. All of them need to be impeached,
- 43:45and I'm standing on it. I ain't moving off of it. It
- 43:47is what it is. I'm not moving what happened to the money? Because
- 44:01you feed and where we can go to find that up? Because what what?
- 44:09What? What can we go to locate these things? Because the last
- 44:13time I checked in twenty twenty two, it said that Governor Abbott diverted three
- 44:17hundred and something million. I had to go back and get the correct figures.
- 44:22I did an article on it. But he diverted that many millions from
- 44:27the prison system and and sent it to the the the border and ain't nothing
- 44:32changed at the border. It seemed like to me the boar has gotten worse.
- 44:36So what did you do with three hundred and something million dollars? Like
- 44:38where are the receipts? When? When are we gonna get itemized detail,
- 44:43you know, accountability for what has happened to all of this money? But
- 44:52then you're taking all that away. They're doing it everywhere. It's not just
- 44:55in the state of Texas. They're doing it everywhere. They doing it in
- 44:58New York and they turned they taking whole hotels and turning it into shelters.
- 45:02This is what they're doing like they're doing so they're doing so much. Why
- 45:08your governor that that is something you have to blame on your governor. I
- 45:13mean, that's not a whole lot that you know, individuals can do about
- 45:16that. That's something you have to blame on your governor because he's not He
- 45:20don't have an insentative. Your governor and the person that run TDCJ. Those
- 45:24are the two people that's in control of that because they can put together a
- 45:28package that's gonna draw people. Okay, I hear a commercial that says that
- 45:31TDCJ is gonna be the place to be, that's gonna be the place to
- 45:35work. Like, people don't want to work there. People don't want to
- 45:37be there. Okay, they're gonna have to do some drastic change change.
- 45:40You know, I got a plan. I've been doing research on them.
- 45:45That's that's for the last My last two classes last quarter was done around TDCJ.
- 45:52All of my papers I got perfect scores on. I got perfect scores
- 45:55on. So I'm ready for them. You know. My teacher was like,
- 45:59I should be a con So I'm ready for them. Anytime they want
- 46:01to sit down and have a conversation, I'm ready. I'm ready to build
- 46:06with them. Anytime anybody want to sit down and have a conversation about how
- 46:09we can you know, change even if we can start our own private prison.
- 46:15Man, if we can start our own private prison and take over some
- 46:16of these prisons and get man, I'm telling you, man, we can
- 46:22go into the state of Texas and grab Poe too and show these people how
- 46:25to run prisons. They did it, and they did it in Georgia and
- 46:34then and not only that, Texas has Texas hands private prisons. I already
- 46:38looked at it. I already looked at it. So why not why we
- 46:42can't. I know people that's into security. I know a lady that worked
- 46:45for the sheriff office for thirty eight years. She has her own private security
- 46:50company right now. She's done details for aj Wilson, the NBA basketball player
- 46:54that went to USC Tyler Perry. Of people she's done stuff for, and
- 47:02she got the credentials like she could probably start something inside and out. Like
- 47:08I know, work the prisons. You know, I ain't get perfect scores
- 47:13on these papers for nothing. I got perfect scores on these papers for what
- 47:17Because I know a little bit. I know a little something that can help
- 47:21somebody that they willing to sit down, like there's so much stuff that you
- 47:25know. If you don't want me to be a part of TDCJ, let
- 47:29me be a consultant. Let me help you get on track, and you
- 47:32can get all the credit. Just pay me. That's all I want.
- 47:36You can get all the credit. I don't care. I will help you
- 47:38get on track. Just pay me, because I'm telling you I can help
- 47:43you get on track. I can help you turn this prison system if even
- 47:47there's a way that if they want to make money, there's a way that
- 47:51they can make money, and even the prisoners, the people that are working
- 47:54that they are making work for free right now, can get paid and everybody
- 48:00can win and it can benefit society because guess what, the people that they
- 48:04are working, that are working, they are able to send money home to
- 48:07pay child support. So guess what when it's time for them to get out,
- 48:10when it's time for them to parole, when it's time for them,
- 48:13they don't have child support to hold them up, they don't have nothing to
- 48:16hold them up because guess what, they're working towards coming out. I keep
- 48:20telling people when these people go in, when they are going through, separating
- 48:27them and putting them in population and classifying them. This is the time when
- 48:30they need to go through assessment. They need to assess them. They need
- 48:35to assess everything about them that's gonna make them hold that they will be able
- 48:37to parole whatever timeframe that they say that these people should be able to perfrole.
- 48:42They should have something in place that they can be working on each year
- 48:45to get towards that. When they do these setoffs, they should put something
- 48:51in place. Tell them, hey, this is what you need to work
- 48:53on. This is what's gonna have you prepare to see. These people don't
- 48:57want you to come home. These people don't want that. And see,
- 49:00people are more to me. People are more beneficial on the outside because guess
- 49:05what, they can generate their own funds for their own families. More is
- 49:08going back into the household. But when they're locked up, it benefits all
- 49:14those the elected officials the time out for that. It's time to get some
- 49:17new people in charge. That's why family members got to vote. And y'all
- 49:22got to tell your family members to get off they butt go vote. Don't
- 49:25cast y'all to the swine. A lot of them. Okay, yeah,
- 49:29you may did your you may did your crime, okay, but you're doing
- 49:31your time. We're not asking for favors, we're not asking for handout.
- 49:37We're just asking for people to stand up and do what's right. Because but
- 49:44at the end of the day, this could be anybody. This could be
- 49:46anybody because these people do not care. These people do not care another thing
- 49:54something on the gen vocational skills and don't somebody a chance to help, but
- 50:04working drunk skills. When you're unit and some of the other units, all
- 50:10those units, you have to understand that those units that are far out and
- 50:14people just it is what it is, all those units that are far out,
- 50:16you've been thrown to the wolves. Understand it, accept it, and
- 50:20understand. If you don't really abilitate yourself, you won't be a real abilitator.
- 50:23If you won't go through, you won't do this stuff yourself. You
- 50:27won't y'all won't come together and do these programs and say, Okay, we're
- 50:29gonna better ourselves for us, then guess what, you're not gonna get it
- 50:32because guess what, y'all having shortages. People don't want to come out there.
- 50:37People don't have packages together to say hey, i'll go, I'll I'll
- 50:42drive these amount of hours. I'll work these amount of hours because people are
- 50:45driving if you're paying them. Because I know in Atlanta, Man, people
- 50:50was driving. People drive from Making to Atlanta. People drive from Chattanoogle to
- 50:52Alant Man, people are driving from Anderson to Atlanta two hours both what two
- 50:58hours a day hour forty five minutes an hour. People was driving it because
- 51:04it was worth it. The pay was worth it. People was doing it.
- 51:07If the pay is worth it, they'll do it. If if going
- 51:10to a place is satisfying, people want to do it. But going to
- 51:15a place it's dragon, they don't want to do it. That's why it's
- 51:19easy for these people to call lie. It's easy for these people to smuggle
- 51:22in drugs. It's easither for these people to do the stuff that they do.
- 51:25It's easy for them to do that because they don't care what they get
- 51:30caught, because they know if what if they get caught, they may get
- 51:34a couple of months in prison. They go do it a couple of months
- 51:36and then they go on with their life. Man, these people know these
- 51:45folks be smoking drugs because I don't hurt. I don't hurt people that don't
- 51:50smoke, say how bad it smell? Like I get, man, I
- 51:53get so much every day, Like I get stuff every day, not just
- 51:58from the men, but from the women too, And it's always something,
- 52:01and it's from different places like me and Chanette. And then I hear stuff
- 52:06like tonight, it's Sunday on our other on the network that I'm a part
- 52:10of. I go over there and I hear Chinchilla talking about what's going on
- 52:15in Philadelphia, what's going on or whoever she may have on the show tonight.
- 52:21You know, but this is what we hear. It's not just in
- 52:23Texas, but we're fighting for people all over and we're gonna be sharing these
- 52:30stories. So I definitely I thank you for coming on. I thank you
- 52:32for sharing again. Tell people who you are and how can they support t
- 52:39d c J if they want to write, if they want to do something,
- 52:44How can people get involved in the area. You have to you have
- 52:52to get to congressmen's involved, your people. There's the one that that can
- 52:59take it and get something down about t d c D. So that will
- 53:04be your rhyme. That, yeah, that would be your rhyme. Rentals
- 53:08yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah, ship yeah Shirley Jackson, Lee,
- 53:17your Carlos Sherman's, your Monica Dela Cruz, your Gray Abbots, Yeah,
- 53:24all of those them other people. You go. You gotta go and holding
- 53:31what your family meals in prison and comes races. You gotta hold those that.
- 53:35Then you gotta hold them responsible. They're supposed to the legislate, the
- 53:40body that that change. The change start with them. It don't start with
- 53:45the people. The people have the voice. You're you're the rules that they're
- 53:51supposed to be doing the things for. They represent you. It's not it's
- 53:54not we the government supposed to be we the people. We the people have
- 54:00the voice for the change. If you don't, because the change, they're
- 54:02gonna keep all the views and their authority you got. If you're not your
- 54:08your congressman's accountable, then they're gonna use their don they're gonna be trying to
- 54:14run the things that they be doing it. The way they're one of those
- 54:16is not appropriate. They're supposed to be the voice of the people. The
- 54:20people supposed to have the voice in the legislative body. God won't give me
- 54:24voice back. They're gonna work for you. They work for you, but
- 54:29they work for all of us. Your family members are there righting my family.
- 54:32My family members fight for me, They helped me. They are they
- 54:37for me, my sisters, my mother, my kids. They advocate for
- 54:44their and my niece and nephews. They became for their uncle. They'll be
- 54:46pay for their father. They are paid for the brother, the boy.
- 54:55You gotta make the difference, Make the difference, nobody's asking. I mean,
- 55:05we all matter, we us, your loved one. We just made
- 55:09a mistake. But that does the means that we're where the point of forgiveness.
- 55:16And you know, sometimes people hold grudge it sometimes they don't know how
- 55:22to forgive. You got to forgive us for our wrongs. God forgive us.
- 55:28He's a forgiving God. Why came to other humans have their same grace
- 55:34and forgive us for our wrongs. You know That's why I see. Don't
- 55:39look at us for the wrong with God. Don't look at the way we
- 55:43all pay, look at the change that we make it, try to make
- 55:45a difference. We don't make the change. I'm not nowhere near the same
- 55:52individual I was when I first got locked up in this case. He would
- 55:58have we don't know. Commedy Unit on TDC numbers one, sixty three,
- 56:02four five nine. Anybody need to help, an advice, you want to
- 56:07do anything that you want to, I'm willing help to help anyone you know.
- 56:12I'm I'm here. I'm here there for the voice. I'm here for
- 56:15us to make the change that we all need to try to make a difference,
- 56:20to make this place a better place and to make people better work before
- 56:22they get out of here. That's what I do here. I hear with
- 56:27the young men in here to try to find themselves to be better than what
- 56:30they want to build. Man, know how to walk in the shoes that
- 56:34they're supposed to walk in, because a lot of these young men in there,
- 56:37they all have that from another man. And to make sure that I'm
- 56:44involved myself with a lot of other men. That's that's what we have to
- 56:52do. We have to help other people grow in here because a lot of
- 56:55young men they lost, but they don't know what it is to build man.
- 57:00And we gotta we gotta show up their roles to what you're feel meant
- 57:02not to be another uh when they come out prison, but to be to
- 57:09fill change whatever that they'll be a light shining on them, knowing that they're
- 57:15making a difference in society to be something in society and being something destructive in
- 57:21society. Man, I thank you for your time. All right, you
- 57:24have a good one. You have a good one, y'all. I'll tell
- 57:27you I have truly been blessed on tonight. Every opportunity I get to share
- 57:31something that is taking place within TDC J to give y'all perspective exactly from them,
- 57:38give you an opportunity to hear directly from them, so they just not
- 57:44know, he say, she say, because a lot of times people will
- 57:46say, well, how do we know that this is what's taking place?
- 57:51You know, they can post one thing, but if several people are saying
- 57:57the same things, and sometime, y'all, we got to look at you
- 58:00know, the message that's being said. You know why it's several people saying
- 58:07the same thing about the same thing, and your story one it's always a
- 58:15generic story. And how can that generic story be the same thing? But
- 58:20you know their stories are similar, but it's not the same words, but
- 58:23yours always the same. It can't be. So sometimes we got to look
- 58:29at the people that's giving out the stuff. You have to look at the
- 58:31people that's in charge the unbuzzment. You got to look at the executive directors.
- 58:35We got to look at the the what you call them people, the
- 58:42officer in term in general inspector, and all these people that supposed to be
- 58:47non biased. Really what what what what what are they gaining from TDCJ.
- 58:55Well, what are these people? What? What? What are they gaining?
- 58:59The reason why they will not hold these people kind because there's no way
- 59:05that these people can keep doing what they're doing and getting away with it.
- 59:08And people are making noise about their family members, and then they have the
- 59:13balls to say that they can do this because they are who they are.
- 59:17Ain't no way I was in the stead of Texas and I would have been
- 59:22had some lawsuits and some families need to step up, and they need to
- 59:27start getting some lawyers, and they need to start suing these people because they
- 59:30are violating their family rights. They are treating them less than humans. They
- 59:37need to open up that reopen the RUSS versus a stale case. Violation of
- 59:45the Eighth Amendment is in full effect every day with these Johnny Sacks, every
- 59:54day with the trauma that their cousm with regular inmates, watching suicidal inmates they're
- 1:00:00not supposed to be doing that, So it's to be certified mental health professionals.
- 1:00:07How you gonna put a regular inmate because they so called a life coach
- 1:00:13in charge of watching another inmate causing more trauma Like and then y'all wonder why
- 1:00:22that they aggression? That's so much fighting. It be so much going on,
- 1:00:30a lot of this stuff. They pick up with what theyre doing,
- 1:00:36and then they sit back and act like they did nothing when they brought a
- 1:00:42lot of this upon it. Y'all, we gotta stand up, not just
- 1:00:46in the state of Texas, but all over. It's happening, and we
- 1:00:51gotta wake up as people. It's happening to our people. They sitting back
- 1:00:58and they watching, and then they'll throw a few brown people in there every
- 1:01:04now and then, but the majority of them is our people. Look at
- 1:01:08J. C. Pennis and the and the picture asks that they've been having.
- 1:01:13Now they getting back to the photography. But now they want to have
- 1:01:19the picture with the mom and the two kids for the black family. But
- 1:01:25the white family, they got a mom and a dad. They're funny,
- 1:01:30like you're gonna make us not be a complete family? Like that's how you
- 1:01:36portray us because that's how you see us. But guess what, h y'all
- 1:01:40ain't stopping nothing. We believe in family, y'all were taking back what's ours,
- 1:01:46Like everything that y'all have tried to stop us from having, everything that
- 1:01:52y'all have tried to stop y'all, it's over them, four hundred and something
- 1:01:59years plus that y'all have. I hope y'all enjoyed them, because I'm telling
- 1:02:07you, you just don't know what's in store for a lot of people,
- 1:02:15Like some people are not gonna believe or power and the stuff that they boy
- 1:02:20to possess and the things that they about to see and do. Like y'all,
- 1:02:25I'm about to go. I'm excited. I'm about to go. I
- 1:02:29got some homework to do. I got to get this uploaded. Thank y'all
- 1:02:32for tuning in tonight, y'all. I didn't mean to stay on this long.
- 1:02:36Y'all know I was playing to jump on and jump off. But I
- 1:02:39get excited and I always want to give people an opportunity to share. I
- 1:02:44have enjoyed it. Thank you guys for supporting on tonight. Please make sure
- 1:02:49that you are sharing this in your circle up influence y'all. Next month,
- 1:02:57we will definitely the month of May, we're gonna be talking about mental health.
