- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: Democrats thought that they had just wiped out a Republican congressional seat in Bizarre, but then just hours ago, a federal appeals court came crashing through the door, but that's only half the story.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: There's another reason why Democrat operatives are openly panicking, and even the ultra-left us at the New York Times are admitting it.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_00]: stick with me to the very end of this video because we're going to see first hand the secret sauce that Republican operatives are betting will be decisive in November and why the Democrats are openly and frantically sounding the alarm.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, gang, it's me, Dr. Steve, you're a patron professor here to help you make sense of the madness.

- 1:29[SPEAKER_00]: Alright, let's dive right in here again.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: Huge news coming out of the state of Missouri.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: The 8th Circuit Court of Appeals has officially overturned the Missouri Supreme Court.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: And his ordering Missouri to use their brand new magma map, their Missouri first redistricting map that gives the Republicans a seven to one advantage.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: Now you recall just a few weeks back, the Missouri Supreme Court blocked the state's new GOP drawn congressional map from being used in November elections, even though the primearies had already been held.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: This is a 7-1 GOP redistricted map designed to add a mega-friendly seat and dismantle the ridiculous Kansas City Jerry Mander that's been protecting a Democrat seat in this deep red state for years.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_00]: It passed Missouri House overwhelmingly 90-65 who was signed by the governor last year.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_00]: and literally just weeks before the mid-term after the primaries.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_00]: The Missouri Supreme Court had the arrogance to step in and say, nope.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: No, never mind, you have to go back to the old six to two map that gives the Democrats that extra seat.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_00]: Well, obviously, that was appealed immediately to the Supreme Court, but Judge Kavanaugh, who oversees Missouri, rejected it.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: The court didn't even consider it.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: And so Republicans appealed to the eighth circuit court of appeals, which is one of the largest pellet courts in the nation.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_00]: And boom!
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: But they just dropped the bombshell.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: They slapped an injunction on the Missouri Supreme Court decision and have officially declared that using the pro-democrat 2022 map in November.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: uh... after using the twenty twenty five map in august during the primaries would violate the united states constitution the court's language could not have possibly been clearer they said quote only use the twenty twenty five map complies with the u.s. constitution and federal law and that's key to understanding sort of the madness here the jurisdiction battle that's going on so the Missouri Supreme Court
- 3:44[SPEAKER_00]: deal the state Supreme Court deals with state constitutional issues.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_00]: Whereas the eighth circuit court deals with U.S. constitutional issues.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: So it's state versus federal, which, of course, by the way, the federal trumps the state given the supremacy clause.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: And the eighth circuit
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: that this blatant act of election interference on the part of the Missouri State Supreme Court violated what's known as the personal principle.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: It comes from personal versus Gonzalez.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's a Supreme Court decision from back in 2006.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_00]: And it holds that courts cannot change election rules.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_00]: after a primary, you know, just too close to the election because it ends up confusing voters, it disenfranchises both voters and candidates keep in mind those are candidates who are campaigning and for months prior and pouring money into the races and the likes.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_00]: And it would just simply disrupt the very administration of a fair and free election.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: So Missouri already ran their August primary under the seven to one GOP map.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_00]: So switching back to the old 22 22 lines for November would create exactly the kind of last minute judicial disruption that the personal ruling ruled again.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: and changing it now to another map would only end up disenfranchising and confusing those very voters.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: And that's exactly what the eight circuit court decided.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see if this goes to the Supreme Court, but now that this case has moved out of state law and is now in federal law, the U.S. Supreme Court is strong legal grounds to step in and block.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_00]: the Missouri Supreme Court's ruling effectively reinstating the 7-1 map permanently for the general election on personal grounds.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the reason why this ruling is so huge is because it moves the national needle back in favor of the Democrats.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I've said repeatedly on this channel.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: We have to understand that going into these midterms, the Republicans are at an extreme disadvantage.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: They always have been.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: And that's because, according to 92 years of midterm history, the party and power always
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: always, always lose the seats in the midterm.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: There's just no way around it.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: Well, there is.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: There have been three and only three exceptions to that rule.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: 1934, 1998, 2002.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_00]: That's when the party in power actually gains seats in Congress.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: But since 1932, the party in power,
- 6:41[SPEAKER_00]: If the exception of those three cases, the party in power always loses seats by an average of 20 30 seats.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: And as our good friend in election, analyst, par excellence, the Seth Cashell is observed the only reason why the Republicans have a chance at holding the house this time is because of the redistricting wars, the fact that the Republicans
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: have gobbled up over a dozen new seats through effective jerrymandering, especially after the clay decision that struck down these racially jerrymandered districts and red states that guaranteed Democrats dozens of seats across the country, those redistricting efforts are giving the GOP a chance that they would not normally have in a midterms year.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: And so this is
- 7:35[SPEAKER_00]: So according to Cook Political Report, we're now sitting at around 208 safe Republican seats.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: with Democrats at around 206, with 21 toss-ups.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: Again, we have never seen so few toss-ups, and Seth is bullish, very bullish, about seven of those toss-ups, so that would bring us to 2015, which then, of course, begs the question, what's our plan to win those three seats, needed to hit the magic to 18?
- 8:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's exactly what we're about to find out.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: But first, who loves sushi?
- 8:17[SPEAKER_00]: I know I do.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: I am a huge, you know, my wife's from Japan.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: My whole family loves sushi as do a growing number of Americans.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, over the last two decades, raw fish consumption has exploded.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: Sushi bars are everywhere.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: Gross restores and gas stations sell it.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: Millions of people now eat raw fish weekly.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: But there is a hidden risk.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: Most people never think about parasites.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_00]: Salmon's one of the worst.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's one of the most popular fish worldwide, but it naturally contains more than 70 parasites.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: Now, most are tiny and nearly impossible to see, and they're making their way into the human body.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: Once inside, parasites can hide for years, while frequently laying eggs before any symptoms appear.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_00]: This is why many physicians are raising awareness about parasite exposure.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: Dr. Peter McCullough recommends doing a parasite cleanse at least.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_00]: once a year as a preventative measure.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: The Wellness Company offers a hard-to-access RX Parasite cleanse, USA compounded, Ivermectin, and Membendisol.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_00]: Ivermectin paralyzes the Parasites nervous system, and
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: While Mabendezol stars them, each capsule contains 25 milligrams of ivermectin and 250 milligrams of Mabendezol.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: Lab tested for quality, and you can now get a more budget-friendly 45 capsule option.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: that cost $250 less, giving you $2, 21-day Parasite Clean Cycles.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: Same formula as the original, just a smaller quantity.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: Head on over to twc.health-slash-turly and use code-turly to say $52 off plus free shipping USA Residence only.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: According to ad impact data, Republicans have reserved approximately $700 million in advertising from September 21st all the way through election day.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_00]: Democrats have reserved about $500 million.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: Now, that's a Republican advantage of roughly $200 million being widely reported that
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: are privately warning that that could make all the difference that could leave otherwise winnable seats on the table simply because they can't match the Republican spending barrage dollar for dollar case and point take a look at this in the new hamster senate race a must win for democrats democrat crisp pop us is panic he's sounding the alarm to democrat donors that unless they
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to lose that seat, I should say.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's via a retirement, but it would be a Republican flip.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: And he's right, Johnson, who is either tied or leading Papas.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: And we're seeing the same thing in Michigan.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_00]: We're seeing the same thing, even in Deep Blue, Minnesota.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: We're Michelle Tuffoyas, running an amazing campaign.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_00]: That is a very real potential upset in the making.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: Dick Morris is arguing that we're looking at a very real possibility of the GOP picking up four Senate seats, and and this is absolutely key That should make you feel better about the stupid ridiculous polls coming out of Texas in Ohio and Iowa and Alaska because there is simply no known universe anywhere where Minnesota votes to the right of Texas
- 12:06[SPEAKER_00]: right or where Michigan votes to the right of Ohio or where New Hampshire votes to the right of Iowa or Alaska, okay?
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: So just ignore those polls, forget them.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: They're just propaganda at this point.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the reason why money
- 12:24[SPEAKER_00]: is so important in congressional races is because historically the candidate that spends the most money wins over a 90% of the time, nine in ten.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: Now that's not the case for presidential races.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_00]: Trump got out spent two to one, nearly two to one, 2016, 2024, and he's still one, of course.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'd say the same thing in 2020, but in congressional races again, if pass is precedent, money is everything.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: money is everything in congressional races.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: The candidate who spends more wins over 90 percent.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's about 94 percent of the time.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: And that's how GOP operatives plan on winning those handful of toss-up seats we need to hold on to for the majority.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: and otherwise nearly impossible task given historical patterns.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: Republicans now have the resources to contest races the expert thought were already lost.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_00]: They can defend vulnerable incumbents.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_00]: They can force Democrats to spend money and unexpected places like Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, and they can saturate the airways during the exact period when undecided voters are finally
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: paying attention.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: So put the two stories together.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: Republicans have just officially picked up another congressional seat, Missouri, while simultaneously building the financial firepower necessary to defend their majority's nationwide.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_00]: Now again.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_00]: I have to repeat myself, because I don't want complacency, and I certainly don't want a bunch of pathetic belly aching if on November 4th we lose the house.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_00]: The historical headwinds are not, I repeat, not moving in our favor, not to mention the pain at the pump that ain't helping either.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: The headwinds are indeed against us historically speaking, but the fundamentals, redistricting and fundraising are solidly there for us.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_00]: For the first time in a long time, Republicans have fun demandals that could, indeed, change the headwinds.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_00]: That's what we're going to have to see.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: But the good news is Republicans aren't merely reacting to the left strategy.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_00]: They're not merely going with the arc of history.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: They're fighting.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: They're fighting in the courts.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_00]: They're fighting over maps.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: They're competing across the battlefield and bringing overwhelming resources into the closing weeks.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_00]: And that gang is why something huge just happened.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: for the GOP.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_00]: So what do you guys think?
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: Are we gonna hold the house?
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: You let me know.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_00]: No, dooming.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want any of that nonsense.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_00]: I bullse it.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, sorry.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: That bulldoin is a King James would say.
