- 1:15Speaker 4: was one of the great days of the year for me.

- 1:19Speaker 4: it's great. Of course we are referring to come Dine
- 1:21Speaker 4: with Me first, cab off the rank was Moogi. Yeah, yes,
- 1:24Speaker 4: and the whole team and their partner's got together. It
- 1:26Speaker 4: was magnificent, it was.
- 1:27Speaker 2: It was really great, lovely, very pleasant. I likewise had
- 1:31Speaker 2: a very good weekend, had a very nice Saturday, Moggi.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Sunday was sensational with Come Dine with Maggie, enjoyed by everyone,
- 1:38Speaker 2: I believe. So yeah, tickety boo. Can I say you
- 1:43Speaker 2: can slay? I sleep like a baby last night?
- 1:46Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah, mate, I was all g yeah, man,
- 1:49Speaker 5: I was out like the light as well. It's bloody good,
- 1:51Speaker 5: bloody good initially. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah. We're going to
- 1:54Speaker 5: get into the final details of that as well.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Hey Mogi, Hello, what's coming up? What's hapending on the
- 2:03Speaker 2: Big Show with Old Mogu.
- 2:06Speaker 5: Another Monday, another reflection fellas on the Warriors performance over
- 2:12Speaker 5: the weekend and what the hell of a game it was.
- 2:14Speaker 4: We'll be talking to Charlie Garb later in the show.
- 2:17Speaker 5: We'll also be discussing how our pigeon went guersy on
- 2:21Speaker 5: all Wings looking over his beat with me. Keysey flew
- 2:24Speaker 5: in the first of eight races in this pigeon racing
- 2:28Speaker 5: season down south. There we're going to be finding out
- 2:30Speaker 5: the results. I'm assuming we're going to have pigeon Tim
- 2:32Speaker 5: on the line. He'll be on after five bloody exciting stuff.
- 2:35Speaker 5: We've got an actor we'll be talking to later on
- 2:37Speaker 5: the show as well, but that's a secret what his
- 2:40Speaker 5: name is.
- 2:40Speaker 4: And of course.
- 2:43Speaker 5: Next up we'll be talking about come Down with Me
- 2:45Speaker 5: and how it went and giving scores huge statune.
- 2:49Speaker 4: I'm nervous.
- 2:50Speaker 2: In the meantime, let's kick off with little bit at
- 2:52Speaker 2: Pearl Jam for.
- 2:55Speaker 1: The Hurdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on radio.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Is indeed clean of the stone Age There on the
- 3:01Speaker 2: Hot Arky Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time is
- 3:04Speaker 2: thirteen minutes past four o'clock, which means it's time for.
- 3:08Speaker 4: She come done with.
- 3:11Speaker 2: The feelings.
- 3:13Speaker 5: Well here we are, fellows. A day after the very
- 3:15Speaker 5: first come down with Me, it was come come down
- 3:18Speaker 5: with the fellows with.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Me, Mogi, yes, or just come down with Mogi, come
- 3:22Speaker 4: don with Mogi.
- 3:23Speaker 5: If you like, and had it yesterday around at our joint.
- 3:26Speaker 5: Beautiful bloody day it was. It had been a weekend
- 3:31Speaker 5: of a lot of prep. Now, I do just want
- 3:33Speaker 5: to say off from the start, and we haven't really
- 3:35Speaker 5: said anything about the rules around this, but I I
- 3:39Speaker 5: made everything in this menu. I got zero help from
- 3:41Speaker 5: my wife except on the hosting.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Duties on the day. Oh wow. And she did duck
- 3:46Speaker 4: out and get some white pepper at the place that
- 3:50Speaker 4: I went to. So we're not out of anyhow from
- 3:52Speaker 4: our partners. No, No, I'm just saying that for me.
- 3:54Speaker 4: You know, it's come down with the fowlers.
- 3:56Speaker 5: It's not come down with your fellers and you and
- 3:57Speaker 5: your part You know, you guys can do what you want.
- 4:00Speaker 5: I'm just saying that for me and this, and let
- 4:02Speaker 5: me be honest, that's just the way that it happened.
- 4:05Speaker 5: It's not how I wanted it.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Yeah, okay.
- 4:08Speaker 5: My wife was meant to take care of the dumplings,
- 4:10Speaker 5: and the entree was a dumpling made ve made from
- 4:12Speaker 5: scratch by hand by these very hands fellers. And my
- 4:17Speaker 5: wife was like, oh, me and our daughter, me and
- 4:21Speaker 5: Megie and Magi will make those. Well she was nowhere
- 4:23Speaker 5: to be seen. She didn't make anything, but it was.
- 4:26Speaker 5: It was absolutely fine. It worked out good. But so
- 4:30Speaker 5: with the entree that was the dumplings. Now that's the
- 4:34Speaker 5: area where I felt I left my let myself down
- 4:37Speaker 5: the most because it wasn't enough of them. And what
- 4:40Speaker 5: I didn't realize was it took ten minutes to cook
- 4:42Speaker 5: them all, and I had planned to steam them. I
- 4:44Speaker 5: bought a steam especially, but all four pots were operating
- 4:48Speaker 5: the volcanic heat broth, so we had no pots left
- 4:53Speaker 5: for me to be able to steam them.
- 4:54Speaker 4: So there wasn't enough of those.
- 4:55Speaker 5: So I apologized for that, and then I thought, well,
- 4:57Speaker 5: there's probably enough main food anyway, so that it does.
- 4:59Speaker 4: The main food was a hot part, and she was hot.
- 5:03Speaker 4: She was hot.
- 5:04Speaker 5: And then for dessert we had a Korean mango dish,
- 5:10Speaker 5: which I was really happy with. No I had made now,
- 5:13Speaker 5: I'd made none of these things before, and I've never
- 5:15Speaker 5: hosted a dinner party ever before in my life, so
- 5:18Speaker 5: I was really worried about things not timing out right.
- 5:21Speaker 4: So on Saturday I worked.
- 5:22Speaker 5: I was beavering away until nine o'clock at night, and
- 5:25Speaker 5: then on Sunday there I was up at six thirty
- 5:28Speaker 5: and I was back back at it so I was
- 5:31Speaker 5: that that and I tell you what, I was grateful
- 5:34Speaker 5: for Parks pushing out because he couldn't. Originally it was
- 5:37Speaker 5: going to be two o'clock thirty. I needed every minute
- 5:40Speaker 5: of that. I had a shower about three minutes before
- 5:45Speaker 5: you guys walked through the door.
- 5:46Speaker 4: And it's funny because I was like to my wife,
- 5:47Speaker 4: we cannot be late. We had attulity on the dot
- 5:51Speaker 4: because like they'll all be waiting. Yeah, well, I appreciate
- 5:53Speaker 4: people not being early. Yeah.
- 5:55Speaker 5: And then the entertainment was we went on a tour
- 6:01Speaker 5: of the Sinkhole, Moggie's Sinkhole, which is around the corner.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Yes, and your people will see footage.
- 6:06Speaker 5: Of that as well. But I had a great time.
- 6:08Speaker 5: There's a lot of great laughs and a two hour
- 6:12Speaker 5: thing being four hours.
- 6:15Speaker 4: Yeah, I had an absolute ball.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Well, I think it's fair to say we all had
- 6:19Speaker 2: a ball mogie.
- 6:19Speaker 4: It was excellent person and it's really.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Nice too with our partners as well, you know what
- 6:24Speaker 2: I mean. It's not just a fellows. Our partners are
- 6:26Speaker 2: there and even one gets on very well. But it
- 6:28Speaker 2: was a majestic afternoon and I like the time of
- 6:31Speaker 2: day too, by the way. Yeah, plenty of run up,
- 6:34Speaker 2: which we've been discussing.
- 6:37Speaker 4: At first, I was, ah, a bit random, but when
- 6:39Speaker 4: you talk about it, you can prep on the Saturday
- 6:41Speaker 4: and Sunday morning to just iron stuff out. I think
- 6:43Speaker 4: it's a good idea, yes, and we'll probably do the same.
- 6:46Speaker 2: So what we're going to do next is get all
- 6:48Speaker 2: the fellows in and score it. Now, the scoring is
- 6:51Speaker 2: going to work like this. We're going to score the entre, Main,
- 6:54Speaker 2: dessert and entertainment each out of ten for a final total.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Out of forty out of forty yep. Okay, so this
- 7:00Speaker 4: is I'm nervous because so much love went into that.
- 7:04Speaker 4: It was an entire weekend of work. Yes, you know,
- 7:08Speaker 4: and if Kezy just comes out and gives the old
- 7:09Speaker 4: six out of ten and you know, it's not gonna
- 7:11Speaker 4: get out. Well, so that's all right.
- 7:14Speaker 2: It's all good stuff. Here's Rage against the Machine.
- 7:20Speaker 1: The Hodaking Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 7:24Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Is indeed the Strokes there on the Hodarky Big Show
- 7:29Speaker 2: this Monday afternoon. The time twenty four minutes past four o'clock.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Now the time has come, Fellas for the first ever
- 7:35Speaker 2: scoring of Come Dine with the Fellers MOGI edition Come
- 7:40Speaker 2: Dine with the Feeling, And can I just say, and
- 7:46Speaker 2: I think everyone will be an agreement on this, a
- 7:49Speaker 2: very high bar has been set.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Yes, I said to Jace, I thought we were doing
- 7:53Speaker 4: high jump, but Mogi's come out and done pole vault.
- 7:57Speaker 4: So I'm glad you went first.
- 7:58Speaker 2: To be So this is how we're doing it. We're
- 8:01Speaker 2: scoring Entrey, Main, Dessert and Entertainment each out of ten.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Yes, all right. And also, can we say, regardless of
- 8:07Speaker 4: the scores, we all agree that was frigaging awesome.
- 8:10Speaker 5: I had a ball ahead of ball. This is this
- 8:12Speaker 5: is almost a separate thing to me. And I do
- 8:13Speaker 5: want to point out in the last break, I said,
- 8:16Speaker 5: my wife didn't help me with anything. She cleaned the house,
- 8:18Speaker 5: which was its own two day jobs. Yes, okay, thank
- 8:21Speaker 5: you to her. All Right, Well, howdy Jay you.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Can Okay, we'll set off with Entree Fellers. Yeah, I'll
- 8:26Speaker 2: kick off with my score. I gave it a very
- 8:29Speaker 2: solid and respectable eight out of ten.
- 8:31Speaker 4: Wow. Okay, now the entre for me, which was the
- 8:35Speaker 4: dumplings eight for me is really good. Yeah, that's my
- 8:39Speaker 4: to say, you're aware I've given them a seven out
- 8:41Speaker 4: of ten. Great, just because I wanted more of them, Yes,
- 8:44Speaker 4: thank you, Then it's fair. And then I had the
- 8:46Speaker 4: last one and I got a bit of chewed from everyone,
- 8:48Speaker 4: and I was like, I just wanted more of them.
- 8:50Speaker 6: So yeah, well listen, moggie, I love them so much.
- 8:52Speaker 7: I dropped one on the floor, you do, because I
- 8:54Speaker 7: was just trying to scoff my faces as many as
- 8:56Speaker 7: I could.
- 8:56Speaker 4: I did.
- 8:57Speaker 7: I thoroughly enjoyed it, and just the vibe of the
- 8:59Speaker 7: on Trey as well was really great. You had some
- 9:01Speaker 7: good tunes going, some little bit for Keysy. So I
- 9:03Speaker 7: take the atmosphere into account as well. Fellas, so I've
- 9:06Speaker 7: given your entree and out of ten.
- 9:09Speaker 2: The only thing about the ENTREA will say, with the
- 9:11Speaker 2: red oil there, I was terrified of spilling it on you.
- 9:14Speaker 4: Yeah, and also bonus points for having your daughter meg Mino.
- 9:18Speaker 4: You're handing out chopsticks.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Ye. Now for the main hot pot, very dear to
- 9:23Speaker 2: my heart, and I was very impressed with the inspiration
- 9:27Speaker 2: behind that, the dedication behind me, the execution behind that,
- 9:32Speaker 2: very enjoyable to me.
- 9:34Speaker 5: I will just say that the music was for Keysy
- 9:37Speaker 5: the hot pot was for everyone, but Jay's for you,
- 9:40Speaker 5: and then Pegs and I ducked outside for a dat.
- 9:43Speaker 7: I knew everybody I said that. I was like, this
- 9:46Speaker 7: guy knows how to play the game. Man, he's got
- 9:48Speaker 7: something for everyone. And I knew the cigarette came into that.
- 9:51Speaker 2: So for me, the main hot pot I gave a
- 9:55Speaker 2: nine out of ten.
- 9:56Speaker 6: Wow, brilliant stuff.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Wow.
- 9:58Speaker 4: So a ten out of ten would be the be
- 10:00Speaker 4: dinner at someone's house you've ever had, Yes, wow, Yeah,
- 10:05Speaker 4: So the main for me MOGI. When I walked in
- 10:07Speaker 4: and saw the banquet you'd put out, blown away. The
- 10:10Speaker 4: taste of the hot pot was sensational. The heat level, however,
- 10:15Speaker 4: head me up twice twice during the night. Seriously, I
- 10:20Speaker 4: had to get up in the middle of the night.
- 10:21Speaker 4: I was like, this is an emergency, and unfortunately I
- 10:23Speaker 4: checked the time and it was midnight. So I was like, cool,
- 10:25Speaker 4: a keasy midnight semer, that's great. I was in up
- 10:27Speaker 4: again at three am, and I'll be honest this morning,
- 10:30Speaker 4: at about eight it was still like holy cow, super hot. However,
- 10:36Speaker 4: it was one of the most delicious hot pots I've
- 10:37Speaker 4: ever had, so the heat of it and the pain,
- 10:40Speaker 4: the fact I had to pay midway through the night
- 10:42Speaker 4: a couple of times dropped it from a nine to
- 10:44Speaker 4: an eight. Gat okay, So eight out of ten for.
- 10:46Speaker 6: Me for the hot pot, for me for the hot pot, Mogi.
- 10:49Speaker 7: I think it's it's really really an easy one, not
- 10:52Speaker 7: saying it was easy for you to do, but I
- 10:54Speaker 7: think it's a great way to let people create their
- 10:56Speaker 7: own dishes and their own delicious agree meal however they want.
- 10:59Speaker 7: And also very topical, really really right on brand. So
- 11:02Speaker 7: I've given your main and nine.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Out of ten.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Wow.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Okay, So I was stunning stuff. Casey is the harsh guy.
- 11:09Speaker 2: What man now for dessert? I was very impressed with
- 11:15Speaker 2: this feelings because I'll be honest with you, Mogi, I'm
- 11:17Speaker 2: not a huge mango fan, and it was a kind
- 11:21Speaker 2: of beautifully presented mango with a sort of condensed milky
- 11:25Speaker 2: icy kind of It was a bit sore beyish, really
- 11:29Speaker 2: a little bit soor bayish, and I thought I was
- 11:33Speaker 2: expecting it to be sweeter and it was much more
- 11:36Speaker 2: subtle than that, which I enjoyed. I gave your dessert
- 11:40Speaker 2: a solid and very good nine out of ten.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Wow wow. So ten out of ten is the best
- 11:45Speaker 4: dessert you've ever had worried about everyone else's school, you know.
- 11:51Speaker 5: I think the reason why Keysy is worried about your score,
- 11:54Speaker 5: Jose is because of Kesey's score.
- 11:56Speaker 4: No, because it's just like if I make the best
- 11:59Speaker 4: dessert out.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Of time, I'm saying. But what I'm saying is this
- 12:03Speaker 2: is this is mates dinners.
- 12:08Speaker 5: You can also get a mind that's completely different and
- 12:10Speaker 5: you go, I really enjoyed that. So you don't, I know,
- 12:13Speaker 5: if you need to leave, okay, you know, okay.
- 12:16Speaker 4: All right. So the dessert for me was subtle, which
- 12:19Speaker 4: when you're executing, especially the Asian style desserts, they are
- 12:22Speaker 4: always subtle. They're not always smacky in the face. Ice
- 12:24Speaker 4: cream on the side. There for a little bonus, I've
- 12:27Speaker 4: given you an eight out of ten. That's great. And
- 12:29Speaker 4: the good thing about it is I've never had that
- 12:31Speaker 4: dessert before. Yeah, And it was timed well, you know
- 12:34Speaker 4: it was. It was well executed. Yeah, it was a
- 12:36Speaker 4: real roll of the dicet one.
- 12:37Speaker 5: I hadn't made any of the things on the menu,
- 12:39Speaker 5: but that one I'd never even heard of.
- 12:41Speaker 4: Sam And I.
- 12:42Speaker 5: Thought to myself, condensed milk, this is going to be foul.
- 12:44Speaker 5: But anyway, let's serve it up. And it was actually, yeah,
- 12:48Speaker 5: it was really good.
- 12:49Speaker 2: And I love me a bit of condensed milk action.
- 12:52Speaker 7: I'm a hard man to impress when it comes to
- 12:53Speaker 7: desserts because I don't really have a sweet tooth. I'm
- 12:56Speaker 7: very much a savory guy, which is why the main
- 12:58Speaker 7: was so high. But I really really appreciated the effort
- 13:01Speaker 7: you put in. I was walking into the kitchen to
- 13:03Speaker 7: plug my phone and.
- 13:04Speaker 6: So you spring your little shamed ice there.
- 13:07Speaker 7: So, as I say, hard to impress with desserts, however,
- 13:10Speaker 7: really really enjoyed it.
- 13:11Speaker 6: I give it an eight out of ten for your dessert.
- 13:14Speaker 4: Yeah, good stuff.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Okay, entertainment, Jason, entertainment, Well, we went to see Mogi's Stinkhole.
- 13:20Speaker 4: Sinkhole.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Oh, I was at sink well. I had the air
- 13:24Speaker 2: maffs and I didn't quite hear what was going on.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Once again, I enjoyed the preparation.
- 13:30Speaker 4: Should we talk through what happened there?
- 13:31Speaker 5: So for the entertainment, I got everybody outside, put everybody
- 13:36Speaker 5: in a hard hat, a high verse safety glasses, and
- 13:41Speaker 5: little disposable airplugs, and then we walked about one hundred
- 13:44Speaker 5: meters around the corner in the daylight, and we did
- 13:48Speaker 5: an inspection of the sinkhole that's opened up over there.
- 13:52Speaker 5: Well it's been there for three years, but it's got
- 13:53Speaker 5: a much worse recently and they're doing a couple of
- 13:55Speaker 5: months with a work on it. So I thought we
- 13:56Speaker 5: go on a little tour because it has been content
- 13:59Speaker 5: of on the show.
- 14:00Speaker 4: It was great. It was very as fun. I had
- 14:02Speaker 4: no idea what was going on. I was putting stuff
- 14:04Speaker 4: on and it was like, hey, stinkhold tell this is
- 14:05Speaker 4: great and ICs going for a walk after your dinner.
- 14:09Speaker 2: I'm very fond of that. So it was it was
- 14:13Speaker 2: the sync that was well thought out, well thought out.
- 14:16Speaker 2: I'll be giving your entertainment for the night, Mogi nine
- 14:20Speaker 2: out of tea.
- 14:20Speaker 4: Right, so holy walking around the corner and looking at
- 14:30Speaker 4: a hole tin.
- 14:32Speaker 2: But also but we were all costumed up and there
- 14:37Speaker 2: was a lot of thought in that. And also I
- 14:39Speaker 2: like the brevity of it. Yeah, nothing, nothing. I don't
- 14:42Speaker 2: like entertainment going on forever.
- 14:44Speaker 5: And somebody like someone's you know, playing a guitar and
- 14:48Speaker 5: steering your straight in the.
- 14:52Speaker 4: Okay, So for the entertainment, I'm been capturing the whole
- 14:55Speaker 4: ambiance of the entire evening. So obviously your daughter, your
- 14:59Speaker 4: wife hosting, being very good hosts as well, great music
- 15:02Speaker 4: playing angle Bird every third song was an appreciated that,
- 15:06Speaker 4: and of course a lot of laughter to be had
- 15:07Speaker 4: as well. The tour itself thought was very funny. I
- 15:10Speaker 4: was like, what's going on? And then we went and
- 15:12Speaker 4: did it. It was funny, It was brief. Mogi did a
- 15:14Speaker 4: little bit of improv then pretended to be the site manager.
- 15:17Speaker 4: That was great, getting to see who's acting chops in
- 15:20Speaker 4: the flesh. For that reason, I've given it an eight
- 15:22Speaker 4: out of ten.
- 15:22Speaker 7: Hey, that's good stuff, Keezy. Now, I really enjoyed that too.
- 15:26Speaker 7: I thought it was topical, right on brand. The stinkhole
- 15:29Speaker 7: has been talked about a lot in the last few days.
- 15:31Speaker 7: I also really, as I said to you in the
- 15:33Speaker 7: moment expensive bit.
- 15:34Speaker 6: You really threw everything at it.
- 15:36Speaker 7: You know, you bought official hard hats, high Viz goggles,
- 15:40Speaker 7: and earplugs. It was short, which I enjoyed, and I
- 15:44Speaker 7: know that you were playing to an audience that doesn't
- 15:45Speaker 7: love like intimate performances from friends, so I do appreciate
- 15:49Speaker 7: that and I take that into account with my score. However,
- 15:52Speaker 7: I I liked it, but I didn't love it as
- 15:57Speaker 7: much as I thought I would. I appreciated your commitment
- 15:59Speaker 7: to the bit, but it was a bit short for
- 16:00Speaker 7: my liking in terms of the maybe the practice.
- 16:05Speaker 6: So I've given your entertainment a seven out of ten.
- 16:08Speaker 4: Nice, beautiful, So total that gives you, Jase, what's your
- 16:11Speaker 4: toe thirty nine out of forty.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Out of forty then I believe comes to thirty five.
- 16:16Speaker 4: Thirty five minus thirty one out of forty.
- 16:18Speaker 6: And mine is thirty two.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Yeah, that's bloody good. And as I say, that is
- 16:25Speaker 2: a very very high. So what we're going to do next,
- 16:31Speaker 2: I believe, Fellas, is the draw for the next round.
- 16:34Speaker 4: That's right in the date it's going to be in
- 16:36Speaker 4: a few weeks time. We'll draw names out of a
- 16:37Speaker 4: hat and Pugs, you're working on a video of this
- 16:40Speaker 4: you were filming yesterday.
- 16:41Speaker 7: Yes, there's a shite load of footage, Fellers, so I'm
- 16:44Speaker 7: endeavoring to get that out today at the production quality
- 16:46Speaker 7: that we expect here on the big show.
- 16:48Speaker 6: So either expect that tonight or a very latest tomorrow.
- 16:51Speaker 4: And that's on Facebook, Radiohodhrotagram, the whole shebang.
- 16:55Speaker 7: It'll have footage of each part of the night, including
- 16:57Speaker 7: the entertainment, plus a summary from each of the guests
- 17:01Speaker 7: after the evening.
- 17:01Speaker 4: Jolly good, Well, thanks for coming.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Feels It was The Hidarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike
- 17:07Speaker 1: and Keyzy. Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarches.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Indeed a bit of bush there on your Monday afternoon.
- 17:14Speaker 2: You're listening to the Hodarky Big Show. Now listen, We've
- 17:17Speaker 2: just done the scoring for Old Moggi's come dine.
- 17:19Speaker 4: With Me, Come dine with.
- 17:24Speaker 2: The Feelings.
- 17:25Speaker 4: If you've missed the scoring, et cetera. It comes out
- 17:28Speaker 4: on the Best of the Hudaky Big Show podcast, which
- 17:30Speaker 4: comes out at seven thirty to night.
- 17:31Speaker 7: I'm also going to put a tie up on the
- 17:32Speaker 7: Hodicky Big Show Instagram reflecting the scores.
- 17:35Speaker 5: Jolly good And another way that we can look at
- 17:37Speaker 5: it is simplified because we gave so many scores here.
- 17:41Speaker 5: It simplifies down to an eight point two out of ten.
- 17:45Speaker 5: Eight point point two.
- 17:48Speaker 4: Once again, ten out of ten. It is like the
- 17:49Speaker 4: best in a party ever.
- 17:50Speaker 2: So there's the three of us left in the draw.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Can I just want to gauge Yeah, because as I said,
- 17:55Speaker 2: it's a very high bar. That's been set. I just
- 17:58Speaker 2: want to gauge from the fear is how they're feeling
- 18:01Speaker 2: about potentially following up.
- 18:03Speaker 6: It's a hell of a lot of pressure.
- 18:05Speaker 7: However, I was heavily inspired last night, and whether or
- 18:08Speaker 7: not it's because I was responsibly steamed, that's by the bye.
- 18:11Speaker 7: But when I left last night, my partner and I
- 18:12Speaker 7: straight home, got a bottle of wine and started chatting
- 18:15Speaker 7: what we're going to.
- 18:18Speaker 2: If you're a dark horse in this bloody race.
- 18:21Speaker 6: Interesting because I've got a tiny two piers in apartment.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Know it's going to be great.
- 18:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:26Speaker 4: I immediately to my wife is, oh my god, we
- 18:28Speaker 4: have to like.
- 18:30Speaker 2: The water.
- 18:30Speaker 4: I was just going to make like you know, I
- 18:32Speaker 4: had a dish in mind, and I was thinking of
- 18:33Speaker 4: a particular rot trop and now I'm like, ah, I've
- 18:36Speaker 4: got to go all out. Yeah.
- 18:38Speaker 2: I was just really enjoyed the evening and wasn't thinking
- 18:41Speaker 2: about what I was going to do next anyway.
- 18:44Speaker 4: Yeah, and I am just glad I'm done in dust.
- 18:50Speaker 2: That's the bonus of going firstly, and Magie all right,
- 18:53Speaker 2: so we've got three names and a hat there.
- 18:56Speaker 4: We've got a weekend sort of which is the final
- 18:58Speaker 4: weekend of August to the now calendars. Sure and I am,
- 19:03Speaker 4: I am pulling a name out of her head. I've
- 19:05Speaker 4: got it in my hand. Here, fellas, we want a drummer.
- 19:08Speaker 5: Yeah, sure, here we go. The host of the next
- 19:15Speaker 5: coment of Dining with the Feelers will.
- 19:16Speaker 8: Be I'm sure you were going to say, and actually,
- 19:30Speaker 8: I've got to be honest with your fears.
- 19:32Speaker 2: In terms of what we're thinking. It's kind of that's
- 19:35Speaker 2: kind of works for us.
- 19:36Speaker 4: Really, Yes, great winter based.
- 19:40Speaker 2: I'll let you know the theme maybe next week.
- 19:43Speaker 4: Okay, cool, let me think about it. Yes, and so
- 19:46Speaker 4: that's going to be the final week end of August.
- 19:47Speaker 4: Got a few weeks to run into it, mate, So.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that's good.
- 19:50Speaker 4: God, I need to get a dining table.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Ah, but all good. In the meantime, here's stereo.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Fine, The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio
- 20:04Speaker 1: ho Gluto.
- 20:05Speaker 2: There on the Hodarchy Big Show this Monday afternoon, the
- 20:10Speaker 2: time four fifty four. Let's talk TV.
- 20:14Speaker 4: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Yeah that's right.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Yeah, pretty busy weekend, fellas.
- 20:24Speaker 5: I didn't get to watch a lot, but what I
- 20:25Speaker 5: had been watching is continuing along with the series Friday
- 20:29Speaker 5: Night Lights that is available for you on Neon. It started,
- 20:35Speaker 5: I think there's five seasons of it started around about
- 20:37Speaker 5: two thousand and five or two thousand and six, and
- 20:39Speaker 5: it's based in a small town in Texas around the
- 20:43Speaker 5: high school football team and how all the pressures on
- 20:46Speaker 5: the players and the surrounding character's a great show.
- 20:49Speaker 4: I'm just playing along with it, feels.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Yeah, fellows. I went to the movies with my wife
- 20:54Speaker 2: and father in layd Sat day afternoon to see the
- 20:58Speaker 2: much talked about, the much claimed The Odyssey, the movie
- 21:02Speaker 2: that's on everyone's lips.
- 21:04Speaker 4: At the moment. Did you go ix, Yes, very very loud.
- 21:09Speaker 4: I've heard that. I've heard that before, that comment.
- 21:12Speaker 2: And I know that that makes me sound like a
- 21:15Speaker 2: very old man. But god, it's just a but anyway.
- 21:21Speaker 2: And of course my wife and I remembered that we've
- 21:24Speaker 2: just seen The Ralph. The fine version of is much
- 21:29Speaker 2: more low budget.
- 21:30Speaker 4: Much more low bud. No, it's only a couple of
- 21:33Speaker 4: years old.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Yeah, a much smaller story about the same story. Look,
- 21:42Speaker 2: it was pretty good and there were some amazing effects.
- 21:44Speaker 2: It was really well done, and it's actually very true
- 21:46Speaker 2: to the tale. Itself, some really good performances, some incredible effects.
- 21:52Speaker 2: But I've got to be honest with you. I was saying,
- 21:55Speaker 2: three out of five.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Buzzies, so you recommend it, but just yeah, it's three
- 22:00Speaker 4: and a half hours long.
- 22:01Speaker 2: No, it's only actually two forty five. I it yeah, outrageously,
- 22:07Speaker 2: But it was one of those movies where I went, look,
- 22:09Speaker 2: that was a really good movie.
- 22:10Speaker 4: But I'm not going God, that was amazing. Yeah, right, Okay.
- 22:13Speaker 4: Over the weekend I saw Ellen Davies Live, the comedian
- 22:16Speaker 4: that was Yes, So he came in for listeners at
- 22:18Speaker 4: Donat's Massive Hero of Mine one of my all time
- 22:21Speaker 4: favorite comedians. Met him here at the show. He's very
- 22:24Speaker 4: low keyw energy his show. It's the first time I've
- 22:28Speaker 4: seen like a super slick, high energy UK comic. Before
- 22:32Speaker 4: the first ten minutes, he's literally just doing stuff specific
- 22:35Speaker 4: to Auckland in the theater, everyone's in stitch it. I
- 22:38Speaker 4: was like laughing so much and then really slick, highly polished,
- 22:43Speaker 4: very experienced comedian. In the middle of his show, it
- 22:46Speaker 4: gets down to the nitty gritty, and the nitty gritty
- 22:48Speaker 4: of his life is ten years ago he had his
- 22:50Speaker 4: father arrested for essentially molesting him as a child, and
- 22:55Speaker 4: it's really really heavy stuff. The reason he went on
- 22:58Speaker 4: tour again he hasn't been on tour and over a
- 22:59Speaker 4: day decade, was because he wanted to tell that story
- 23:02Speaker 4: and share that gets into some really heavy themes and
- 23:06Speaker 4: I think, just yeah, and for me personally, seeing a
- 23:09Speaker 4: real role model of mine talk about stuff like that,
- 23:12Speaker 4: at one point, I was like, you know, I felt
- 23:13Speaker 4: like I was gonna freaking almost cry. I was like,
- 23:15Speaker 4: I love this guy and I can't believe that the
- 23:17Speaker 4: stuff happened to him. But he soundwiches it perfectly, like
- 23:20Speaker 4: in the middle. It's this real deep, serious stuff. The
- 23:23Speaker 4: bread on each side is just some of the most select,
- 23:25Speaker 4: high energy, very very funny comedy I've ever seen. So
- 23:28Speaker 4: I give the show itself like a four. I mean,
- 23:31Speaker 4: you're going there to laugh for an hour and you're not.
- 23:33Speaker 4: You're laughing for forty minutes and really sad for twenty minutes. Yeah,
- 23:36Speaker 4: I'll give it a four. Bus he's out of five.
- 23:38Speaker 4: But to see him like, especially after meeting him and
- 23:39Speaker 4: then seeing I was just like, oh man, this is
- 23:41Speaker 4: so like he is, but great, really great great stuff.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Hey, now listen, coming up after five o'clock. The big
- 23:49Speaker 2: pigeon race happened over the weekend and we'll get the results.
- 23:53Speaker 4: I'm excited, fellas.
- 23:56Speaker 1: The whole actually big show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodache.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Welcome back to Mess of Backbones. Hope you're surviving your
- 24:04Speaker 2: Monday afternoon. The time is four minutes past five o'clock
- 24:07Speaker 2: and you, my friend, listening to the Big.
- 24:09Speaker 4: Show brought to you by Rebooger handcrafted burgers, loaded fries
- 24:13Speaker 4: and gourmet eats that will change.
- 24:14Speaker 2: The game, which is share because it's.
- 24:21Speaker 4: Yeah, man, so good. By the way, if you just
- 24:23Speaker 4: joined us and you're hoping to know the final scores
- 24:26Speaker 4: were with the come Down with Me, we did that
- 24:27Speaker 4: in the previous hour, but you can catch that seven
- 24:30Speaker 4: thirty tonight the Best of the Show Today podcast comes out, yes,
- 24:33Speaker 4: and also see the scores up on the Instagram there now, Yeah,
- 24:37Speaker 4: I want to spoiler.
- 24:38Speaker 2: We also drew the next contestant and Old Hoodie j
- 24:41Speaker 2: Old Hoodie Jay.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Is next up. How you feeling about that, Jason?
- 24:44Speaker 2: You're good, as I say, with the theme that we've
- 24:47Speaker 2: got in mind, it's kind of better now.
- 24:50Speaker 4: Right, because you were spitballing some weird ideas.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Yeah, like Key's in the bowl.
- 24:55Speaker 4: Well there was that, but you also said because your
- 24:57Speaker 4: apartment has a sauna, you're like a group sauna for the.
- 25:01Speaker 3: One.
- 25:01Speaker 4: Great. My wife was like, he's not serious.
- 25:04Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 25:06Speaker 3: No, I'm not serious.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Okay, but it's buddy good the old suner I like it.
- 25:10Speaker 4: We won't be doing that.
- 25:12Speaker 2: You can rest assured, Keezy, right, it won't be happening.
- 25:15Speaker 4: Well, you can rest assured that when I host come
- 25:17Speaker 4: down with me, it'll be funded by the winnings of
- 25:19Speaker 4: my racing pigeon. Oh yes, which raced over the weekend.
- 25:22Speaker 4: It's first ever race. What's it called? Keezy on all
- 25:25Speaker 4: wings looking over his beak with me, Keyzy, it's it.
- 25:28Speaker 4: So we're gonna have pigeon term on the line next
- 25:30Speaker 4: to tell us how the pigeon wins and whether we
- 25:32Speaker 4: want any money fail us.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Great stuff for mate in the meantime, and it's ever
- 25:35Speaker 2: a bit of Foo Fighters the.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 25:41Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio hod.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Ak Gorilla is there on the Hodarky Big Show This Monday, afternoon.
- 25:47Speaker 2: The time is fourteen minutes past five.
- 25:49Speaker 4: O'clock, fast five o'clock, Fellers. I bought a racing pigeon
- 25:53Speaker 4: and the audience named it. The name, of course, is
- 25:56Speaker 4: Jeezy or Wounds and looking for his book. Yeah, the
- 26:04Speaker 4: worst name of any pigeon in the history of pigeon race.
- 26:07Speaker 6: Did you buy it?
- 26:08Speaker 4: Or did we buy it? Hang on? I thought originally
- 26:12Speaker 4: it was just I was it all four of us?
- 26:14Speaker 3: Now you haven't know.
- 26:15Speaker 4: I can't remember where we got to it. Now you're in,
- 26:17Speaker 4: Come on, you're in, Okay, joining us on the line
- 26:20Speaker 4: now from down in Timidoo. They're the propriet proprietor proprietor
- 26:26Speaker 4: the owner of my favorite bar down there in Timidoo,
- 26:28Speaker 4: Hector Blacks and his pigeon. Tim get a, Tim, how
- 26:31Speaker 4: are you today?
- 26:32Speaker 3: Good? A guys, Well how are you going?
- 26:34Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 26:35Speaker 2: Good, thanks sir Tim Nelison mate, Keyzy. Release the video
- 26:39Speaker 2: of you releasing the birds. Yeah, And I've got to
- 26:43Speaker 2: say I found it quite moving.
- 26:47Speaker 4: All those birds flying.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Yeah. And I've just just you know, I've seen them
- 26:51Speaker 2: in their big all flocked together there and in the sky.
- 26:54Speaker 2: I was quite emotional about it.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Oh, brilliant. No, it is emotional, guys. It was a
- 27:00Speaker 3: good race. Yeah, a wishfully win for them, but a
- 27:03Speaker 3: beautiful day and you know, good times. We had a
- 27:07Speaker 3: winning gloss in there. Eleven fifty two point nine four,
- 27:12Speaker 3: which is a good fit time for pigeons.
- 27:15Speaker 4: That is good from my experience with pigeons. To him, So,
- 27:18Speaker 4: I guess, firstly, just remind us where was the race?
- 27:21Speaker 4: Where was it from?
- 27:22Speaker 3: And two it was from ash Person? Yeah one fifty
- 27:27Speaker 3: k okay, yeah, just just a good easing into the series.
- 27:32Speaker 3: That's right.
- 27:33Speaker 4: That's a bit of a sprint, isn't it.
- 27:34Speaker 9: That's you.
- 27:35Speaker 2: That's that's your high twitch, fiber kind of race.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 27:39Speaker 4: All right, So Tim, this is the first race that
- 27:42Speaker 4: our pigeon, Kezy on all wings looking over his beak
- 27:45Speaker 4: with me, Kezy has ever raced. There's a lot riding
- 27:47Speaker 4: on this. I finally convinced Jason, Mike and Pugs, my
- 27:50Speaker 4: co host said to actually all go in on the
- 27:52Speaker 4: pigeon with me. Just remind me, is it the top
- 27:56Speaker 4: fifteen get cash prizes.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Top fifteen get pros, top for sex guys.
- 28:01Speaker 4: Okay, all right, let us know where did our pigeon finish?
- 28:07Speaker 3: Not in the first fifteen. Yeah, ok, sorry, you're well
- 28:13Speaker 3: down the track about this time.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I understand that.
- 28:16Speaker 3: A wee bit more training, a wee bit more support,
- 28:18Speaker 3: you know. Tell everyone out there to follow us on
- 28:20Speaker 3: heat to Black's Facebook page and they'll keep up to
- 28:24Speaker 3: date with everything. You'll see training videos, you'll see everything.
- 28:27Speaker 4: Right, well, tim when you say not very good, because
- 28:30Speaker 4: there's one hundred and fifteen birds in this particular race.
- 28:32Speaker 4: Whereabouts are we talking here in.
- 28:35Speaker 3: The nineties, sorry, guys, Yeah, yeah, I mean, you know,
- 28:41Speaker 3: just to rub salt into the wounds. We've got another
- 28:44Speaker 3: radio station that we've got a bird. It's called Crosswind Tolin.
- 28:46Speaker 4: Yeah, this is the edge.
- 28:48Speaker 3: I'm sorry, and they were second.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Wow.
- 28:52Speaker 5: So this is sort of Keysies fold, isn't it? Sounds
- 28:54Speaker 5: like our rather than salt in the wounds that's sold
- 28:56Speaker 5: all over the bird's wings, which of course is from
- 28:58Speaker 5: flying the hoy j Yeah. It's a bit of a shame,
- 29:01Speaker 5: isn't it. Of course, we've had some issues with the
- 29:03Speaker 5: numbering of the bird. It's one o nine, it's one
- 29:06Speaker 5: oh three. It's got a different tag around one of
- 29:08Speaker 5: its legs. There looked like a one oh seven of me.
- 29:11Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 29:12Speaker 5: I don't know what kind of an operation you're running
- 29:14Speaker 5: down their pigeon ten but it feels like we're getting
- 29:15Speaker 5: stitched up.
- 29:16Speaker 4: Mate.
- 29:17Speaker 3: No, you might need stitches at the end of it.
- 29:21Speaker 2: You know what it sounds like to me? Easy? What
- 29:23Speaker 2: that you need to invest more in your bird? Yeah,
- 29:26Speaker 2: it's a good idea quality feed. You know, maybe redo
- 29:30Speaker 2: it's coop. Pour a bit of money into it if
- 29:33Speaker 2: you want to. Yeah, yeah, okay.
- 29:37Speaker 4: When is the next race?
- 29:39Speaker 3: Next? Races next Saturday? So they flum the Thursday. We
- 29:43Speaker 3: hit the results on the Sunday. Yeah, and that's going
- 29:46Speaker 3: to be from christ trick. So time did fifty case? Yeah,
- 29:50Speaker 3: I reckon, and you know we're getting all these third times.
- 29:54Speaker 3: That's good.
- 29:55Speaker 4: Well, maybe my bird is more of a long distance bird,
- 29:57Speaker 4: you know it could be. Can I ask you and Tim?
- 30:00Speaker 4: Were there any DNFs?
- 30:03Speaker 9: Not at all?
- 30:04Speaker 3: No, all birds came home. Well yep, they've all been trained.
- 30:08Speaker 4: Well yeah, good, well, look unfortunate that we finished in
- 30:12Speaker 4: the nineties right at the back of the pack there,
- 30:15Speaker 4: But we'll catch up with you again in a couple
- 30:17Speaker 4: of weeks after the next race.
- 30:18Speaker 3: Sounds great.
- 30:20Speaker 4: On you may and don't forget if you are in
- 30:22Speaker 4: Timido there check out Hector Black's Great Establishment June Fellas.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Yeah, ninety ninety in the nineties, Keysy.
- 30:32Speaker 4: I'd like to know how long it actually took as well?
- 30:35Speaker 4: You know, how long does it take for a shit
- 30:38Speaker 4: house pigeon?
- 30:39Speaker 2: Hang on, there's a bit of Milica for.
- 30:45Speaker 1: The Whole Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 30:48Speaker 5: Tune in four.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Yes, indeed, Harvey Danger there on the Whole Archy Big
- 30:54Speaker 2: Show this Monday evening. That time is five twenty eight
- 30:59Speaker 2: and we have break news. This is breaking news.
- 31:07Speaker 4: Well sure do, Jay's huge news. The Big Show have
- 31:10Speaker 4: finally settled on a date and location of our next

- 31:17Speaker 4: to a different bar and a different city across New Zealand.

- 31:56Speaker 4: which is a massive you know, beer brewery festival, go

- 32:07Speaker 4: No, I've not heard of.
- 32:08Speaker 5: It's a new edition since I left there are many
- 32:11Speaker 5: years ago now to be honest, but I'm just having

- 32:37Speaker 4: Get yourself a free backbone t shirt if you are
- 32:40Speaker 4: keen to hear to be a Vanna though the actual
- 32:42Speaker 4: festival itself on the Friday and Saturday Bevana dot Co
- 32:45Speaker 4: do in z Tickets still available.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Great stuff. Hey now listen, coming up bit of rugby
- 32:49Speaker 2: league action over the weekend. We're going to be speaking
- 32:51Speaker 2: to rugby league legend Charlie gab the.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Whole actually big show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 32:57Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio.
- 33:00Speaker 2: The Offspring there on the Radio Hodarkey Big Show this
- 33:03Speaker 2: Monday afternoon. The time is five thirty eight. Obviously the
- 33:06Speaker 2: Wars played over the weekend. With that in mind, we
- 33:09Speaker 2: have rugby league legend, the one and only X Warrior, Charlie.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Get a gubby your mad barsart. How's life?
- 33:17Speaker 9: Well, that's good brother, I'm happy we're back the Warriors.
- 33:19Speaker 9: We know we're back.
- 33:20Speaker 10: And also yes, seeing that seeing that little dinner photo
- 33:24Speaker 10: of you and the fellas very Epstein island esk.
- 33:28Speaker 9: But nothing sinister, eh, Come on.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Man, come on man now, Charlie. Obviously I reckon what
- 33:37Speaker 2: happened after the Bulldogs is oh Webby gave the boys
- 33:40Speaker 2: a bit of a rack up during the week and
- 33:42Speaker 2: said that's not good enough, Fellas, because that was a
- 33:45Speaker 2: completely different performance this weekend.
- 33:49Speaker 10: I reckon it would have been the players themselves. You know,
- 33:51Speaker 10: we got we you know we We've had most of
- 33:54Speaker 10: the season being labeled the best.
- 33:55Speaker 9: Forward pack in the camp and I think we just
- 33:58Speaker 9: got you know, we just.
- 33:59Speaker 10: Got an Maybe they're taking things for granted, and when
- 34:02Speaker 10: you got guys like Fisher, Harris and Aaron Clark leading
- 34:05Speaker 10: that pack, they take things pretty personally. So as you
- 34:08Speaker 10: can tell, I'm pretty pumped up that we're back and
- 34:10Speaker 10: we are the four packs back. I don't think it's
- 34:12Speaker 10: going to happen again.
- 34:13Speaker 4: We are back, baby.
- 34:14Speaker 5: And what was your feeling about seeing Leka out in
- 34:17Speaker 5: the centers? You know, sad for Pompy to be dropped.
- 34:21Speaker 5: It's been a store for the club. Althose forms certainly
- 34:24Speaker 5: be down this year, but you see the things that
- 34:26Speaker 5: Leka can do.
- 34:27Speaker 4: I think that's probably getting that being a permanent change.
- 34:30Speaker 4: Fingers crossed there, Chalie.
- 34:32Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, I like Lecqua in the centers. But what
- 34:35Speaker 10: I will say to Pompey's credit, you know, when when
- 34:38Speaker 10: the when the Fords are going forward and playing really well.
- 34:41Speaker 10: All the backs look good, you know, the winger score,
- 34:43Speaker 10: the halves look good because they're going forward, and the
- 34:47Speaker 10: kind of the knock on Pompey and anyone in the
- 34:50Speaker 10: centers in general is normally when we're not going well,
- 34:53Speaker 10: which you know, Fords aren't giving them good ball, the
- 34:56Speaker 10: opposition is always attacking down edges because they're getting front football.
- 34:59Speaker 10: So to Pompy's credit, I think he would have had
- 35:02Speaker 10: a great game if he was.
- 35:03Speaker 9: Playing there too. But it's this lickers liquors might have
- 35:07Speaker 9: grabbed that spot.
- 35:09Speaker 4: You know, Charlie Keaesy here Man hope you're will good Man.
- 35:12Speaker 9: Good good to hear from you, Kusy.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:13Speaker 4: Likewise, bro, just you know when you see the likes
- 35:16Speaker 4: of Aaron Clark, who the people that don't watch the league,
- 35:19Speaker 4: he's essentially a front row. He plays lock, he's a
- 35:21Speaker 4: build of a prop. He's very skillful guy. But for
- 35:23Speaker 4: him to put in a beautiful cross field kick that
- 35:26Speaker 4: set up an amazing try, the skill set of the
- 35:28Speaker 4: Fords these days is ridiculous, right.
- 35:31Speaker 10: That's right, And it's probably been mentioned before, but Aaron
- 35:34Speaker 10: Clark had come through as a hook a half yeah,
- 35:36Speaker 10: and and he just got a bit of aweight.
- 35:38Speaker 9: He's a tank. He's a Tank's built like a friggin
- 35:42Speaker 9: a medicine ball. Yeah he is.
- 35:44Speaker 2: He's like a he's a big barrel of a bastard.
- 35:47Speaker 4: Yeah he is.
- 35:48Speaker 9: Thanks for that, Thanks man, I hope you will. How
- 35:52Speaker 9: you being brother?
- 35:52Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 35:52Speaker 9: Good?
- 35:53Speaker 2: Thanks, Gabby. Can't complain mate. Hey, if you're ever struggling
- 35:56Speaker 2: with words, just ask gold Hoidy.
- 35:58Speaker 10: J anyway back to it, Aaron Clark, Yeah, he's he's
- 36:03Speaker 10: a skillful guy. But all these kids coming through now,
- 36:07Speaker 10: it's like l is a real pathway, you know, So
- 36:11Speaker 10: you've got to have a point of difference. I think
- 36:13Speaker 10: the players are going to get bigger, faster, stronger. That's cliche,
- 36:16Speaker 10: but it's true sports science.
- 36:18Speaker 9: Because j actually through the no he did, he came through.
- 36:23Speaker 10: I remember him coming through the under twenties and he
- 36:27Speaker 10: was good, you know, he was good, but obviously found
- 36:30Speaker 10: the bottle and the other thing.
- 36:33Speaker 9: He couldn't play, you know.
- 36:34Speaker 2: Yeah, pretty big holes and is yet I gotta be
- 36:36Speaker 2: honest with you, Gubby, that's not inaccurate.
- 36:39Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 36:39Speaker 4: And I think you said undertweenties. I think you're mixing
- 36:42Speaker 4: up under twenties with nineteen twenties, Gubby quickly. Obviously we
- 36:46Speaker 4: found some form there against the Gold Coast Titans. However,
- 36:48Speaker 4: this Friday is an absolute barnstorm of a matchup against
- 36:51Speaker 4: the top of the table and the top of the
- 36:53Speaker 4: NRAL over the last sort of ten years or so,
- 36:55Speaker 4: the pin with Panthers. What are you anticipating it here?
- 36:58Speaker 4: Of this game?
- 37:00Speaker 10: I think we're going to I think we're going to
- 37:02Speaker 10: put it right over them. I think we've got the pack.
- 37:05Speaker 10: Everyone seems to be informed. They'll be they'll be right
- 37:07Speaker 10: up for it. Sell out crowd.
- 37:09Speaker 9: Hell yeah, man, I'm puffing because I've got the baby
- 37:11Speaker 9: in the front pack.
- 37:12Speaker 4: But is it your baby, Charlie?
- 37:17Speaker 9: I hope so, I hope.
- 37:19Speaker 4: So come on, fellas, Okay, yeah right Charlie. Before we
- 37:27Speaker 4: let you go, mate, as per usual, we'll get you
- 37:29Speaker 4: to choose your porter king player of the day.
- 37:33Speaker 9: I'm giving it to Tannis ours Smith.
- 37:36Speaker 10: I thought he was everywhere and he's you know, he
- 37:40Speaker 10: really jumps on the back of the other of the
- 37:42Speaker 10: other leaders in the team.
- 37:43Speaker 9: Anyway, I got this, I got this baby in the
- 37:45Speaker 9: front pack. Where are we at, fellas?
- 37:48Speaker 4: Will you go?
- 37:48Speaker 9: Mate?
- 37:49Speaker 4: Just and don't forget if you're listening, you're in the
- 37:50Speaker 4: Wellington area, you need a portloo. Hit up Uncle Charlie
- 37:53Speaker 4: at Porter King. He'll see you right. We'll catch up
- 37:55Speaker 4: next week Charlie.
- 37:57Speaker 9: Yep, yep, after after we hunt the Panthers mates.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Thanks mate, Hey, here's an excess.
- 38:10Speaker 1: The whole Achy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Hold Ike here, welcome back your messive backbones. Hope your
- 38:18Speaker 2: Monday night's going along very nicely. Indeed, you're listening to
- 38:21Speaker 2: the Big Show, by the way, brought to you by Reberg.
- 38:26Speaker 4: Serving good times and good food ten or take away
- 38:28Speaker 4: Rebooger today.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Um, you were saying off here, Mogi. Yeah that for
- 38:40Speaker 2: tonight's a you're going to have another hot pot.
- 38:42Speaker 4: I think I'm going to go the same thing again.
- 38:43Speaker 4: We'll just do a little bit of a stark.
- 38:45Speaker 5: I think the wife might be put in something together
- 38:48Speaker 5: slightly less hot, but we've got so many ingredients you.
- 38:51Speaker 4: Might as well play out through. It was bloody. I
- 38:53Speaker 4: can't wait. It's cold out the fields.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Mate. You know, I cheer and Eddie said a bad word.
- 39:00Speaker 2: But if I really enjoy a hot pt it's bloody beautiful,
- 39:04Speaker 2: especially in the middle of winter.
- 39:05Speaker 4: I love how. The thing that made Jason almost swear
- 39:07Speaker 4: was say how she loves a hot What are you having?
- 39:11Speaker 2: Zy on the Keasy household?
- 39:14Speaker 4: It ticks my wife And she just said, lamb wraps
- 39:17Speaker 4: peter bread with halloomi as well, and there'll be some celad. Yeah,
- 39:21Speaker 4: that's not bad. What I'm excited about the saucers. Yeah,
- 39:27Speaker 4: you know, what are you having?
- 39:28Speaker 2: I don't know yet. My wife and I discussing as
- 39:31Speaker 2: we speaks.
- 39:32Speaker 4: The has the thought of going getting a hot pot.
- 39:34Speaker 2: No, there's no thought. No, there's no hot pot tonight.
- 39:39Speaker 2: We'll have a wonder around and see what we find. Yeah,
- 39:41Speaker 2: you know what I mean, we might because my wife
- 39:44Speaker 2: was like, oh, we could stir fry old Mogi's because.
- 39:50Speaker 5: Everyone everyone got a goodie bag when they live because
- 39:52Speaker 5: I bought I prepared a meal for one hundred people.
- 39:57Speaker 4: To bear with choys and mushrooms.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it's very good. Hey, here's a bit of collective souls.
- 40:05Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy Tune
- 40:08Speaker 1: in and.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Four on Radio holuky Oasis. There on the Hodarky Big
- 40:13Speaker 2: Show This Monday, evening. The time is sixteen minutes past
- 40:17Speaker 2: six o'clock.
- 40:18Speaker 4: Fellers. I've got a seven year old daughter, Maggie Minogi.
- 40:21Speaker 4: Maggie Minogi is what we called her.
- 40:23Speaker 5: She's reached another mile milestone, and I've got to say
- 40:26Speaker 5: I'm pretty proud. When I was a youngster, I was
- 40:29Speaker 5: a very fussy eater. We used to eat at the
- 40:32Speaker 5: dining room table. My mother, Marge, my brother whose name
- 40:38Speaker 5: is Mike, weirdly enough, and myself and we we would
- 40:42Speaker 5: sit there and eat our dinner. And I hated every
- 40:45Speaker 5: single vegetable. If it was a frozen veget I couldn't
- 40:47Speaker 5: eat it. Yes, I could tell if her vegetable had
- 40:50Speaker 5: been frozen. My family would try and trick me, but
- 40:52Speaker 5: I always knew, so idly ended up sort of pushing
- 40:55Speaker 5: my food around the plate while my brother and mother
- 40:59Speaker 5: finished up, and then they'd go watch TV. And I
- 41:00Speaker 5: had to stay at the table and continue eating until
- 41:04Speaker 5: I was done. So what I would do is I
- 41:05Speaker 5: would take my plate. You get to a point where
- 41:08Speaker 5: you go, oh, nobody can see through these walls and
- 41:13Speaker 5: see what I'm doing. So one of the things I
- 41:15Speaker 5: would do is I'd go to the side window there
- 41:17Speaker 5: I carefully open the window because it was next to
- 41:19Speaker 5: the TV room, and I would scrape the rest of
- 41:22Speaker 5: my food out the window into the garden. Yes, on
- 41:24Speaker 5: another occasion, I took I hate peas, mean frozen peas,
- 41:28Speaker 5: the absolute worse. I'd take them and I'd put them
- 41:32Speaker 5: in my pocket and I'd go out. And I remember
- 41:36Speaker 5: one time I got caught because I put them in
- 41:37Speaker 5: my back pocket and then I went for a ride
- 41:39Speaker 5: on my bike and then I put them in the
- 41:43Speaker 5: wash and Mum discovered that I had a pocket full
- 41:45Speaker 5: of squash peas. So, just as past week, Mogi and
- 41:48Speaker 5: Ogi has reached a similar milestone. My wife, she had
- 41:53Speaker 5: her food from her lunch. She didn't eat it, so
- 41:55Speaker 5: I got it, got reheated. It was like a sandwich
- 41:58Speaker 5: and it got toasted up for her and she's got
- 42:00Speaker 5: to eat it. She's not eating it at skull, you're
- 42:02Speaker 5: eating it for afternoon tea.
- 42:03Speaker 4: Man.
- 42:04Speaker 5: So she got it and she was My wife gave
- 42:06Speaker 5: it to her. She was less than thrilled. Thrilled, but
- 42:10Speaker 5: my wife was trying to give it a nice little
- 42:12Speaker 5: spin by toasting it for a nice touch, nice little touch,
- 42:14Speaker 5: my wife, kids, and then the trouble is when these
- 42:18Speaker 5: kids are young, they don't really have any real concept
- 42:21Speaker 5: of time. So about thirty seconds later she came back
- 42:24Speaker 5: and she said, I'm finished it. My wife said, that's
- 42:27Speaker 5: not possible. It's like when they go for a nap
- 42:29Speaker 5: and they came out one second later and I've had
- 42:31Speaker 5: a nap.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Yes, I'm rested now, that's right.
- 42:34Speaker 5: I'm all good. And my wife said, have you eaten that?
- 42:37Speaker 5: And she said yes. And my wife looked at her
- 42:39Speaker 5: and said, have you really eaten that? Or have you
- 42:42Speaker 5: put it somewhere? And she said, ah, yeah, I put it.
- 42:46Speaker 5: She didn't tell her where. So I got home and
- 42:48Speaker 5: I got told the story and I'm cracking.
- 42:49Speaker 4: I was sad. Where did you put it? She she
- 42:52Speaker 4: made the zipper sign across her mouth. She's not down.
- 42:55Speaker 5: I was like, come on, where did you put it?
- 42:56Speaker 5: And she said outside? I said, we're outside. She said
- 42:59Speaker 5: in the it in the dirt. So put it in
- 43:02Speaker 5: the in the garden and the dirt, and I've said
- 43:04Speaker 5: anything else, and then she said.
- 43:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I put a brick on top of it. So random.
- 43:11Speaker 5: So now we've ended this age where it's going to
- 43:13Speaker 5: dawn and the same thing's going to happen with that
- 43:15Speaker 5: now with the lunches, which she mostly never eats, Yes,
- 43:18Speaker 5: and then she gets a lecturer about it when she
- 43:20Speaker 5: gets home. So the obvious thing and the realization you
- 43:23Speaker 5: come to when you're growing up is not that I
- 43:24Speaker 5: am going to start eating my lunch in order to
- 43:28Speaker 5: not get lectured by my parents. I just need my
- 43:30Speaker 5: parents to think that I've eaten my lunch. So that
- 43:33Speaker 5: means I so have to go through the absolute ball
- 43:36Speaker 5: ache of making the lunch and then I'm going to
- 43:38Speaker 5: give it to her and then she's going to throw
- 43:40Speaker 5: it in the bin and then come home and we're
- 43:42Speaker 5: going to go through this every single day, Yes, for
- 43:45Speaker 5: as long as she's living at home.
- 43:46Speaker 2: That was youm Papa.
- 43:50Speaker 4: Wait, your brother's also called Mike. Yeah, he's a backbone.
- 43:54Speaker 1: That the whole Actually Big Show with Mike and kesy
- 43:59Speaker 1: tune and week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 44:02Speaker 2: Is indeed Lincoln Park. There on the Darchy Big Show
- 44:05Speaker 2: this Monday evening special treaty. Actually, we've got actor and
- 44:09Speaker 2: writer Jackson Berling and with us Jackson your Mad Barsett
- 44:13Speaker 2: Holl's Life, I do well, really really well. That's a
- 44:17Speaker 2: great name. By the way. Yeah, it's very distinct.
- 44:20Speaker 4: Did you make that one up?
- 44:21Speaker 2: Jackson Jackson Burley?
- 44:23Speaker 4: I went for a few drafts. Yea out of land
- 44:25Speaker 4: on that for now. Ye're nice And what's your birth name?
- 44:29Speaker 4: I can't tell you.
- 44:33Speaker 9: Out now.
- 44:34Speaker 2: Man. You probably don't know this, but I live in
- 44:37Speaker 2: the CBD and right in the middle of the city here,
- 44:40Speaker 2: and every day I go home. I've seen your poster
- 44:43Speaker 2: for your play run Out. Yeah, I didn't go and
- 44:46Speaker 2: see it, but that's just because I tend to ignore
- 44:49Speaker 2: that sort of stuff. But I have heard so many
- 44:52Speaker 2: amazing things about it. Man, tell us about the story
- 44:55Speaker 2: and how it all came to be.
- 44:57Speaker 11: Yeah, I was kind of just wanting to create a
- 44:59Speaker 11: S show. I've always thought of, like that classic like
- 45:02Speaker 11: what is your story?
- 45:03Speaker 4: What's your story?
- 45:05Speaker 11: And I don't know why, but I just thought about
- 45:07Speaker 11: I could have been a truck driver. My dad and
- 45:10Speaker 11: my granddad were truck drivers, and I just thought, why
- 45:13Speaker 11: did I never become one? And why am I in
- 45:15Speaker 11: the arts career? Yes, you know, like it's hard, and
- 45:19Speaker 11: I've always I was always told to never become a
- 45:21Speaker 11: truck driver.
- 45:21Speaker 4: It's terrible. It's like the worst thing ever.
- 45:23Speaker 11: Don't do it, and I was like, well, let me
- 45:25Speaker 11: find out from someone who's not who I don't know,
- 45:28Speaker 11: and who will tell me the truth. And so yeah,
- 45:31Speaker 11: I organized some interviews, but I actually only interviewed one
- 45:33Speaker 11: person in the end and we were in a truck
- 45:36Speaker 11: on the way home from Wontington to the White Leupper
- 45:39Speaker 11: just had a fat old yarn and it was just amazing.
- 45:43Speaker 11: And now this show is a debatim show using his
- 45:46Speaker 11: real words and me and kind of this show is
- 45:48Speaker 11: about me discovering if I should have become a truck driver.
- 45:52Speaker 4: So that that's interesting because the show is called over
- 45:55Speaker 4: and out and it's very similar to my situation. Everyone
- 45:57Speaker 4: in my family on my dad's side are all mechanics. Yeah,
- 46:00Speaker 4: every single person does a job surrounding to do with cars.
- 46:04Speaker 4: So naturally I was like, I'm going to do that,
- 46:05Speaker 4: and my dad was like, do not do that? Yeah,
- 46:07Speaker 4: but I was like, but I really want to, because
- 46:09Speaker 4: everyone does it looks great.
- 46:10Speaker 9: I do not do that.
- 46:11Speaker 4: He's the opposite of that. Yeah, yeah, I have no skills.
- 46:14Speaker 4: What's yeah? Yeah, yeah, So it's the same thing, right,
- 46:19Speaker 4: They don't want you to follow down that same path
- 46:21Speaker 4: that they went down.
- 46:21Speaker 11: Yeah, but I I despised it as well. I was like,
- 46:25Speaker 11: I was like, yeah, I'm with you, like I don't
- 46:28Speaker 11: want to I don't want to do that.
- 46:29Speaker 4: And do you have a message for any truck where
- 46:30Speaker 4: I was listening right now, come along, come along to
- 46:33Speaker 4: the show.
- 46:36Speaker 2: Well that's really funny because I say, I've got four
- 46:39Speaker 2: daughters and I've said to my daughters, never get into acting. Yeah,
- 46:43Speaker 2: it's it's a hard right and all seriousness, you know,
- 46:46Speaker 2: and it's not an easy one. So I've always gone,
- 46:49Speaker 2: don't do it. But I tell you what, I love
- 46:53Speaker 2: the idea of a big rig, you know, just cruising that,
- 46:57Speaker 2: you know, just cruising. But you know, I've also hitchhike
- 47:00Speaker 2: my life, and I know it's hard jecker and bloody,
- 47:03Speaker 2: boring and tiring at times.
- 47:05Speaker 11: Yeah, well I think that's like kind of one of
- 47:06Speaker 11: the main messages in the show is like, like stuff
- 47:10Speaker 11: is hard get But you know, I wouldn't probably recommend
- 47:13Speaker 11: being an actor to someone who's like, should I be
- 47:15Speaker 11: an actor? I'll be like, you know, yes, it's it's
- 47:18Speaker 11: pretty tricky, but but I love it and I'll do
- 47:21Speaker 11: anything for it. And so yeah, there's some really cool
- 47:24Speaker 11: topics around, like what's what's in your blood? As this
- 47:26Speaker 11: truck driver talks about you that diesels in my blood,
- 47:29Speaker 11: so like performing is in my blood yet. So it's
- 47:32Speaker 11: really cool to compare acting and truck driving. You'd think
- 47:34Speaker 11: there'll be no similarities.
- 47:36Speaker 4: Well what about what about going? You know, you talk
- 47:38Speaker 4: about your dad, your granddad, truck drivers blue dinnim in
- 47:41Speaker 4: their veins, like Jimmy Barnes says, and then you are
- 47:44Speaker 4: an actor. Yeah, what's what's the dead and granddad response
- 47:47Speaker 4: to that?
- 47:47Speaker 11: But I think they were pretty I don't think they
- 47:51Speaker 11: maybe understood it at first. Yeah, but the more they've
- 47:55Speaker 11: seen me do it, the more they're like, we can
- 47:57Speaker 11: see you you are die hard about Yeah, and I
- 48:01Speaker 11: know where I get it from, Like my dad is
- 48:03Speaker 11: a performer, Like he's he's a clown, he's he's a jokester.
- 48:06Speaker 4: And that's where I've got to try and beat it
- 48:09Speaker 4: out of you. My dad tried to beat it out
- 48:11Speaker 4: of me. I don't know, I not. I mean I
- 48:14Speaker 4: think you'd remember. Yeah, maybe I don't. Maybe it was
- 48:18Speaker 4: that bad, but it probably helps toe Like, hey, I'm
- 48:20Speaker 4: into acting, but good news my show is about truck drive.
- 48:23Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah I remember my father saying
- 48:26Speaker 2: to me, but you know when I was thinking of
- 48:28Speaker 2: getting into acting when I left school, and he said,
- 48:30Speaker 2: it's all very well now, because you're a big fashion
- 48:32Speaker 2: a small pond. You get out into the royal world, boy,
- 48:35Speaker 2: and you're a small fashion a massive pond.
- 48:38Speaker 4: And then what happened? Dog Squad broken mystress? Where with
- 48:44Speaker 4: actor Jackson Berlin discussing over and out the stage show
- 48:47Speaker 4: should go to a tune fellow? Yeah came back?
- 48:49Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 48:50Speaker 4: Do you like the cure? Who doesn't?
- 48:51Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 48:52Speaker 1: The whole Rochy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy Tune.
- 48:56Speaker 2: In Queens of the Stone Age. Here on the Hodarchy
- 49:00Speaker 2: Big Show this Monday evening, we've got actor Jackson Berling
- 49:04Speaker 2: and writer I my dad who's written to play over
- 49:07Speaker 2: and out. Now it's about just start, isn't it? Jackson?
- 49:11Speaker 2: Whereabouts that you're playing?
- 49:12Speaker 11: We are playing at Q Theater, Loft, m Sharp and
- 49:17Speaker 11: the fourth to the eighth of August.
- 49:19Speaker 4: That's right. Where's whe's the place to get tickets for that? Jackson?
- 49:21Speaker 11: I would say just hit two Q Theater website.
- 49:24Speaker 4: Yep, it would just google over and out Q Theater.
- 49:28Speaker 2: It should only be one I'm just looking here, Jackson, boy,
- 49:32Speaker 2: you have won a few awards there app which Chapter
- 49:36Speaker 2: of the Year whoa Mowgi's won that as well? I
- 49:40Speaker 2: have the film No, TV wasn't not really film, it's
- 49:47Speaker 2: just TV.
- 49:49Speaker 4: Which Actor of the Year did you win? Jason, Ah,
- 49:53Speaker 4: it was?
- 49:54Speaker 11: Was it?
- 49:55Speaker 4: I can't remember.
- 49:56Speaker 2: I don't place much stock on that sort of stuff.
- 50:00Speaker 4: So Jackson, yeah, you want to actor the year most promising?
- 50:02Speaker 4: You Coomer as well at the Wellington Theater Awards. Obviously
- 50:05Speaker 4: you're a young talent who's coming through, you know, with
- 50:08Speaker 4: a few accolades behind you. Even so with your own
- 50:11Speaker 4: show it Q Theater. How hard is it to really
- 50:12Speaker 4: make it first of this career. It's pretty tricky. Yeah,
- 50:16Speaker 4: you gotta, you gotta, you gotta love it.
- 50:18Speaker 11: You gotta do it when you're not getting paid or
- 50:21Speaker 11: you maybe don't enjoy it all the time.
- 50:23Speaker 4: It's yeah, it's lemon tricky. But is it one of
- 50:28Speaker 4: those big picture things where you've got this big picture
- 50:30Speaker 4: in the in the horizon and that's what you're aiming towards.
- 50:32Speaker 4: You just gotta stay focused on that.
- 50:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:34Speaker 11: And there's nothing that like, there's nothing that drives me
- 50:37Speaker 11: more and there's nothing I can see myself doing other
- 50:40Speaker 11: than this.
- 50:41Speaker 4: Yeah, And I think I've always heard that like, oh,
- 50:43Speaker 4: if you can do.
- 50:43Speaker 11: Anything else, do it, And I was like, yeah, sure,
- 50:45Speaker 11: I play some sport. I can you know, maybe do economics.
- 50:48Speaker 11: I don't know, but no, I can't. I really can't.
- 50:52Speaker 11: I maybe thought that when I was you know, college
- 50:53Speaker 11: and early twenties, but now I'm like, no, there's nothing
- 50:57Speaker 11: else I can do.
- 50:57Speaker 4: Awesome.
- 50:58Speaker 5: Yeah, And then's, however, an experience put your own player
- 51:00Speaker 5: to get to putting it on and then having it
- 51:02Speaker 5: recognized like that. I'm assuming was that the first play
- 51:04Speaker 5: you've put on that sort of because we was that
- 51:07Speaker 5: was that at sir?
- 51:08Speaker 11: There was at Bats oh wow man, Yeah, and I
- 51:12Speaker 11: think it really kind of showed people like you can
- 51:15Speaker 11: you know, Bats is a great place to it's raw,
- 51:17Speaker 11: you can throw walls and see what sticks.
- 51:19Speaker 5: And Jays used to literally because he was at Bets
- 51:23Speaker 5: and he would literally throw ship.
- 51:27Speaker 2: We went back there but about two years ago and
- 51:30Speaker 2: there's still one of my stalls on the on the
- 51:33Speaker 2: wall there. No we hit that. We had many great
- 51:35Speaker 2: times at Bats and Wellington, right, Yeah, it's an institution
- 51:39Speaker 2: in Wellington isn't it feelings? And I'm going to say, man,
- 51:42Speaker 2: you know, particularly for actors when they're starting out, just
- 51:45Speaker 2: do everything and when by that I mean everything acting related.
- 51:50Speaker 2: And what I really admire about so many young actors
- 51:53Speaker 2: these days is that so many of them, like yourself,
- 51:57Speaker 2: are creating their own work, because that's some to is
- 52:00Speaker 2: what you got to do. I mean, you can sit
- 52:01Speaker 2: there all day going, oh, well, I've got no auditions,
- 52:04Speaker 2: there's nothing going on, do comedy, do everything you can
- 52:07Speaker 2: do amateur thea to do everything exactly and fill your
- 52:10Speaker 2: you know, your boots reservoir with stuff. Yes, well you don't.
- 52:16Speaker 4: You don't want to. If you've got the ability to write,
- 52:18Speaker 4: and now you know that you have, it's brilliant.
- 52:21Speaker 5: That's the best of both wills because it means that
- 52:24Speaker 5: the power is no longer no longer in the hands
- 52:26Speaker 5: of other people. You're not waiting for people to decide
- 52:28Speaker 5: you're good enough. Yeah, you know you're good enough. You
- 52:30Speaker 5: can create your own work.
- 52:31Speaker 4: Yeah right, the role that you want? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 52:34Speaker 4: if you want to go and see Jackson write me
- 52:36Speaker 4: the role that I want? Yeah, I think okay, yeah, okay,
- 52:39Speaker 4: good role? Do you want? I don't know Jackson talking
- 52:43Speaker 4: Over and Out too.
- 52:45Speaker 2: I've always wanted to. I've always wanted to sort of,
- 52:47Speaker 2: you know, the Lefario role, you know, the sort of
- 52:51Speaker 2: lover of everything truck driver.
- 52:56Speaker 5: That's actually maybe, yeah, you're hit shriking Joe's because he
- 52:59Speaker 5: used to. Yes, And this truck comes along, pulls over,
- 53:03Speaker 5: picks up old truck driver.
- 53:06Speaker 4: Yeah, that's right. I could say.
- 53:07Speaker 9: I like this.
- 53:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I put my phone out. Yeah.
- 53:13Speaker 2: We actually I used to be in a comedy jerk
- 53:16Speaker 2: ll Cheuring Spice, and we had that very scenario where
- 53:20Speaker 2: a truck driver picks up a dude and then we
- 53:23Speaker 2: get in the truck and smoke a massive doobie and
- 53:25Speaker 2: I start freaking out and the driver is really inappropriate
- 53:30Speaker 2: and saying really intense stuff.
- 53:32Speaker 4: That's a great. Yeah, when you're moving fast, you can't
- 53:35Speaker 4: get out. No, just checking Jackson. Are you only able
- 53:40Speaker 4: to write truck driving based stuff? Is there sort of
- 53:43Speaker 4: the limitation currently and I can only use other people's words. Yeah,
- 53:50Speaker 4: if you want to go and see Over and Out
- 53:52Speaker 4: once again. The fourth of August to the eighth, that's
- 53:54Speaker 4: tomorrow night. That is that Q Theater and Auckland tickets
- 53:57Speaker 4: for that available through I ticket or just google over
- 54:00Speaker 4: an outs Q theater. Jackson Burley Man, thanks for coming in,
- 54:03Speaker 4: good luck with the show, thanks for having me.
- 54:06Speaker 1: The hold King Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 54:09Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarkey.
- 54:18Speaker 2: Well there you go, your man bar. Since that's a
- 54:20Speaker 2: big show down and dusted this Monday afternoon slash early
- 54:24Speaker 2: evening and the podcast out tro today, I would never
- 54:27Speaker 2: clue what's the clip there, Keezy.
- 54:29Speaker 4: Well, it's a bit of off the cuff chat about
- 54:32Speaker 4: Mogi hosting. Come down with me and if you did
- 54:34Speaker 4: miss the review section of Moggi hosting, I saw the
- 54:37Speaker 4: highlights of the entire show comes out at seven thirty tonight,
- 54:40Speaker 4: so give that a listen. And Pugs is currently prepping
- 54:42Speaker 4: a video which is going to be potentially on the
- 54:44Speaker 4: Hdaky Socials in the next hour or so, hard bloody excited. No,
- 54:48Speaker 4: not the next hour. So he's just giving me a.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Look like, yeah, maybe tonight, tomorrow morning.
- 54:53Speaker 4: He's doing his best next week, next week, next week.
- 54:57Speaker 4: I think it's joking. It's Jakie. Yes, yeah, here's a
- 55:00Speaker 4: cop of today's podcast outro, though I thought that was magnificent.
- 55:05Speaker 4: The spread, everything was awesome.
- 55:07Speaker 2: Do a hot pot, but make it hot.
- 55:12Speaker 4: It is such a good idea, Jasegie, can I borrow
- 55:16Speaker 4: your stuff? She was hot?
- 55:20Speaker 5: For those who don't know, Kezy, you had to get
- 55:22Speaker 5: up and do a double steamer. Had a twin steamer
- 55:25Speaker 5: event in the night. Yes, And did you have a
- 55:27Speaker 5: shower both times? Did you have a shower?
- 55:34Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 55:34Speaker 4: Because it was so hot my body at midnight it
- 55:37Speaker 4: had to be midnight too, was just like, oh my god,
- 55:39Speaker 4: get this out of me. And then I had just
- 55:42Speaker 4: because I sleep nude in the showers, so I just
- 55:43Speaker 4: do it just in case. Have you ever had something
- 55:47Speaker 4: that happened which just made you worried? What do you mean? Ah, well,
- 55:51Speaker 4: you're saying that just in case, just so I'm nice
- 55:53Speaker 4: and I feel dity.
- 55:54Speaker 5: Yeah, but I've never It's never even crossed my mind
- 55:57Speaker 5: to do that. So I'm wondering if you've had if
- 55:59Speaker 5: you had a bad experience, and then you from this
- 56:01Speaker 5: day forth, I am showering.
- 56:02Speaker 2: Oh no, no, no, no no, I'm the complete opposite
- 56:05Speaker 2: of you. I love feeling dirty in bed. Mogi. Yeah,
- 56:14Speaker 2: what's the plan tonight?
- 56:15Speaker 5: I'm going to go home and have a little bit
- 56:16Speaker 5: more hot pot. I'm going to try and watch find
- 56:18Speaker 5: something decent. If anybody's got any recommends, hit me up
- 56:22Speaker 5: even on the Actually we should be asking the audience
- 56:24Speaker 5: for some great watches. I just want to find something
- 56:26Speaker 5: that's that's good.
- 56:28Speaker 4: Yeah, sort of thing.
- 56:30Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 56:31Speaker 5: Actually i'll tell you what I've got to watch as Flowers.
- 56:33Speaker 5: That's one thing I've got to watch.
- 56:35Speaker 2: Oh do man, that's awesome.
- 56:36Speaker 4: Yeah, in the Ben Stokes documentary.
- 56:39Speaker 2: Yes, I highly recommend five five year old reference that, Keezy.
- 56:45Speaker 4: What's up?
- 56:46Speaker 9: Man?
- 56:46Speaker 2: Are you got your lamb thingy?
- 56:48Speaker 4: Lambetta bread? There? My wife hopefully goes to bed early.
- 56:50Speaker 2: Yes, here you go some.
- 56:53Speaker 4: Some play station on my own because I haven't done
- 56:55Speaker 4: that in agents because I've been working two jobs the
- 56:57Speaker 4: last couple of weeks. So I'm going to send it
- 56:59Speaker 4: a bed hopefully do that. What about you, Jason.
- 57:02Speaker 2: I'm going to pick up some food on the way home.
- 57:04Speaker 2: Probably no, not a hot pot because it's no, it's
- 57:10Speaker 2: not a new ship, and then just chill out with
- 57:13Speaker 2: my wife.
- 57:13Speaker 4: Sounds great.
- 57:14Speaker 2: Maybe don't get a frozen yogurt later on tonight. Actually
- 57:18Speaker 2: that's what you needed yesterday but a frozen yogurt acting Hey.
- 57:25Speaker 2: Check out the instagram All that Jazz, Goodbye,
