  Well, I welcome you into the brand new format. It is now available to you to listen and also view.

  Today's topic comes to us, and it's called making the right choices.

  How often do you find yourself asking, what should I do?
• 0:27
  Should I take that walk? How often do we decide what is the right choice to make?
• 0:32
  You know, in the last couple of months, I've been finding myself trying to figure
• 0:36
  out what I'm going to do with my life.
• 0:38
  What am I going to do with the next chapter in my life?
• 0:42
  Both of my children are going back into school. My daughter's going into second.
• 0:47
  Noah's going into pre-K or pre-pre-K.
• 0:50
  And I'm looking around saying, my God, what am I going to do?
• 0:54
  You know, I've had children in my possession for, you know, six years.
• 1:01
  And in those six years, now it's come to the point where the last,
• 1:05
  you know, three years I've had Noah with me.
• 1:09
  So now I don't know what I'm going to do. So I know that I'm going to be doing more content.
• 1:15
  I'm going to be doing more social media. I'm going to be growing our platform
• 1:20
  and allowing us the opportunity to move forward.
• 1:23
  With that being said, you know, in life, we have choices that we have to make.
• 1:27
  Are you okay with the choices that you've made so far?
• 1:30
  Are you okay with the choices that you're contemplating on making?
• 1:34
  For me, a big decision was to go into ministry school, right?
• 1:38
  And trying to figure out where I was going to be and what I'm going to do with
• 1:41
  that ministry school behind, you know, in my lap or in my plate.
• 1:46
  And now that I've decided that this is what I want to do, I've decided that, you know,
• 1:50
  the next best thing for me to be is in control of my destiny,
• 1:57
  in control of my family, in control of where I want to be.
• 2:02
  And then I think about all the choices that I've made to get me to this point today.
• 2:07
  All the choices that I've made, whether they've been good, bad,
• 2:10
  ugly, even the ones that I know to this day are not even sure if I've made the right choice.
• 2:17
  But one of the things that I do put into place is the love that I have for God
• 2:22
  and what I plan on doing with the next couple of years.
• 2:27
  But you can only do that one day at a time, right? One prayer at a time.
• 2:32
  Quite often I run into people that say to me, you know, I don't know what I
• 2:35
  want to do. I don't know who I am. I don't know what I want to be.
• 2:39
  Well, start with the basics. You know, you're a child of God.
• 2:43
  God loves you. God believes in you. God trusts you. And he's never going to leave your side.
• 2:47
  So do your part in doing one random act of kindness.
• 2:51
  Allow that inner joy, that goodness that God created in us as we were brought
• 2:57
  into this world to do good and to love one another, to believe in one another,
• 3:02
  to trust another and to forgive others even when they do things to you that you may not agree with.

  So when you go about your day today, I want you to try your very best to believe
• 3:12
  in yourself. I want you to try your very best to trust in your judgment,
• 3:17
  in your gut and react in your reactions that you have.
• 3:22
  Be patient, be courteous, be kind.
• 3:25
  Learn to have patience. man to have patience in prayer and to be patient.
• 3:31
  And always remember that even though prayers may not get answered today,
• 3:34
  one way or another, they get answered.
• 3:36
  And when they do, you sit back and say, hmm, he does have a sense of humor after all.
