- 0:08Gioso. And here we go, episode 135 of
- 0:36The Paddafax, streaming on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and wherever
- 0:42you get your podcasts from. It is November 25th, 2025.
- 0:48Thank you so much for tuning in. I'm William Patterson.
- 0:53All right, back for another week of takeaways.
- 0:56And we are entering Week 14 now and the regular season is
- 1:02wrapped up or is wrapping up. It is Thanksgiving week, it's
- 1:06rivalry week. There's nothing better than
- 1:09college football at this point in the season.
- 1:13And I appreciate everyone listening along with me.
- 1:17Today. We'll be doing my Week 13
- 1:19takeaways from the big games and some other notable results.
- 1:23We'll also talk about Lane Kiffin and the just crazy
- 1:30storyline that we've been following for the last month or
- 1:33so. If he's going to stay, if he's
- 1:36going to leave, how it's affected the team.
- 1:38There are so many different variables to Lane Kiffin at Ole
- 1:41Miss right now. We'll talk about that and how I
- 1:45view his current situation and where he'll end up.
- 1:49We'll also do my top 25 teams heading into Week 14.
- 1:54I will tell you the teams that I believe right now are legitimate
- 1:59College Football Playoff championship contenders, not
- 2:03just the ones that are going to make it the championship
- 2:05contenders, because I believe there are teams that will make
- 2:09the field that right now don't look to me as a national title
- 2:14contender. So I'll tell you those and we'll
- 2:16wrap it up with a very cool storyline, very cool game story,
- 2:24whatever you want to call it, that will occur next season.
- 2:28And I've got some friends over in Brazil that are going to help
- 2:30me out with this one. So a lot to unpack in this
- 2:34week's episode. Real quick, Happy Thanksgiving
- 2:37to all. This will be the last episode I
- 2:41get out before Thanksgiving happens on Thursday.
- 2:44So happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
- 2:45Hope you have a enjoyable and safe holiday, whether you may be
- 2:51traveling or or whatever it may be.
- 2:54Thanksgiving always one of my favorite holidays because it's a
- 2:57lot of great food. It's a lot of great football and
- 3:00it's always coming at a really big time in the college football
- 3:03season. So a happy Thanksgiving to all.
- 3:06Real quick, as I always do my announcements, make sure you're
- 3:09following at the Padifax on Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.
- 3:14TikTok is at TP fax on sports. All the others, including
- 3:18YouTube, are at the padifax. And if you're watching this on
- 3:21YouTube, make sure to like and subscribe, share with your
- 3:24friends. If you're listening on a podcast
- 3:27network, whether it be Spotify or Apple podcast share and, and,
- 3:32and get other people to listen to it because we're building
- 3:37something really, really good over here at the Paddafax.
- 3:40And we've had so much momentum here in the fall and we want to
- 3:47continue to build on that so we can do bigger and better things
- 3:50in 2026. So I appreciate all the support.
- 3:53Hope you have a great Thanksgiving.
- 3:55Let's get into the action. We'll begin with this.
- 3:59It's my week 13 takeaways #7 Oregon nabs a signature win over
- 4:05#15 USC 42 to 27 on Saturday. And heading into this one, this
- 4:13was going to be a big game regardless of if college game
- 4:15day were there or regardless if CBS actually had a game that
- 4:20people care to tune into. Like last week, it was like
- 4:23Michigan State and Penn State and Iowa and USC played on the
- 4:28Big 10 Network. Anyway, CBS had a big game.
- 4:31Happy for those guys because they do have a really good
- 4:33presentation. And this was going to be a big
- 4:36game regardless of the potential College Football Playoff
- 4:41implications. But for USC, they're fighting
- 4:44for their playoff lives. You know, they have the loss to
- 4:47Notre Dame earlier in the season.
- 4:49They have, you know, losses on their resume that, you know, at
- 4:54at at 2 losses. They could not afford another
- 4:57one for Oregon. They dropped one at home earlier
- 5:01in the season. It was a kind of similar spot to
- 5:03Georgia when they hosted Texas back in week 12.
- 5:07Georgia lost that game to Alabama earlier in the season.
- 5:10Georgia typically doesn't lose home games.
- 5:13Oregon loses that one to Indiana earlier in the season.
- 5:16They typically don't lose home games and I was looking to see
- 5:20if they could bounce back in another big game environment and
- 5:23this one was really important for their College Football
- 5:25Playoff lives. I know they only have one loss
- 5:28heading into this, but they don't have the signature wins,
- 5:31they don't have the resume that speaks to the record, so this
- 5:34would be a big win for them on their resume.
- 5:37And in terms of on the field, Oregon's past defense was yet to
- 5:42really go up against a passing offense like USC that really
- 5:47wants to get it done in the air. Jaden Maiava, Jacoby Lane and
- 5:53Malik Lemon, like all all those guys that they've got, true pass
- 5:57catchers, true pass oriented identity.
- 6:01Oregon saw some of that against Indiana and Indiana's got a
- 6:05really good passing attack as well with Elijah Sarat and
- 6:07obviously Fernando Mendoza. But USC is a little bit more
- 6:11oriented on their pass game with Lincoln Riley.
- 6:13So that's what I was looking for headed into this one.
- 6:17And you knew you were going to get 2 good offenses.
- 6:19But Oregon's offense was just more effective in complimentary
- 6:23football. The Ducks total 436 yards of
- 6:27offense, 257 yards in the air, but they got 179 on the ground.
- 6:32And that was a big differentiating factor in this
- 6:35one because as we'll talk about here in a little bit, USC was
- 6:39not able to get anything on the ground.
- 6:41And we've seen Oregon over the last couple of weeks have some
- 6:44really strong running performances against Iowa in a
- 6:48game where they kind of had to play Iowa style.
- 6:50They won that game because they were able to run the ball
- 6:53really, really well. It wasn't the passing attack
- 6:56that got it done in that one. It was the run game and we know
- 6:59that Dante Moore is a very talented player, a very talented
- 7:03passer, but Oregon has been banged up at receiver.
- 7:07Decorian Moore missed this one and he's one of the best
- 7:09freshman in the country. Last week against Minnesota,
- 7:13when they played on Friday, they had to rely on Kenyan Sadiq and
- 7:18was it Chris McClellan? They had to rely on those guys
- 7:21that Josh McCoy, I think, But in this one they got it done in
- 7:26both facets, both in the air and on the ground.
- 7:29Really good complimentary football.
- 7:31Dante Moore goes 22 of 30 for 257 yards and two touchdowns.
- 7:36These next two guys are what I want to focus on, though,
- 7:38because Noah Whittington goes 19 carries for 104 yards and a
- 7:43touchdown. And Whittington's been a guy
- 7:45that has been around this Oregon program for a little bit, has
- 7:48sometimes been overshadowed by the running backs they've had in
- 7:52the past, like a Bucky Irving, for example.
- 7:55But Whittington's been a guy that stuck on this team and has
- 7:59been really, really impactful. Jordan James was great last year
- 8:01for this Ducks team. Noah Whittington, really strong
- 8:04performance here with the 104 yards and a touchdown.
- 8:08But a guy I also want to touchdown is Jordan Davison and
- 8:12he's a guy that was really impactful along with Hill, the
- 8:15other running back in the Iowa game.
- 8:18And he had 50 yards and a touchdown Saturday against the
- 8:21Trojans. Just having that complimentary
- 8:23football I think is really beneficial for this Oregon team
- 8:27as they do have a lot of injuries to their top receivers.
- 8:31Evan Stewart, you know, a former five star who was at Texas A&M,
- 8:35transferred over to Duke, excuse me, not Duke, the Ducks to
- 8:38Oregon. He's been out for the whole
- 8:40season. And then losing to Corey and
- 8:42Moore, you are starting to get a little thin at receiver in terms
- 8:46of reliable targets. So you needed to have a balance
- 8:48attack and Whittington and Davison combining for 154 yards
- 8:52and two touchdowns. Really, really impactful here.
- 8:56And I talk about Kenyan Sadiq, and he's a guy I mentioned in
- 9:00the offseason because in 2025 you see a lot of these tight
- 9:05ends that can do a lot of different things.
- 9:07And Sadiq is just a really good athlete, a really good player.
- 9:11Like he's kind of one of these hybrid tight end wide receivers
- 9:15that if you give him the ball, he can go and make a play.
- 9:18And he had 6 receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown in this
- 9:22one. Had a touchdown the week prior
- 9:24against Minnesota. Was really impactful in that
- 9:26one. He adds what Oregon is missing
- 9:31without Decorian Moore and Evan Stewart as pass catchers in
- 9:35terms of being available. So Sadiq is a really big
- 9:38development for this team late in the season.
- 9:41Malik Benson I thought was really good here. 4 receptions
- 9:44for 67 yards. He had a couple of big catches
- 9:47over the course of this game as Oregon continued to prolong
- 9:52drives. Benson's a guy that kind of gets
- 9:55lost a little bit and all the other stars and big names they
- 9:58have on this team. But he was really reliable.
- 10:00And at the end of the day, when you've got a quarterback like
- 10:02Dante Moore and when you've got a a type of defense for Dan
- 10:07Lanning that is going to be able to get stops, keep you in games,
- 10:11just having reliable receivers. Kind of like Alabama, right?
- 10:15Alabama's got Ryan Williams. He's a star, but Jeremy Bernard
- 10:20and Isaiah Horton have been really reliable receivers, so I
- 10:24thought Malik Benson was really big in this one.
- 10:27Overall, just getting the balanced attack from the running
- 10:31game, an efficient day from Dante.
- 10:33Moore did have a bad interception, but it was right
- 10:36after USC had just thrown 1, so it wasn't like in the course of
- 10:40a game it was detrimental to the docs.
- 10:42It would have given them the opportunity to go up 14 points
- 10:46again, but USC was able to hang around.
- 10:50But regardless, it wasn't like a game changing turnover.
- 10:52He had a game changing turnover against Iowa when he threw a red
- 10:56zone touchdown or it's going to be a red zone interception.
- 10:59That type of stuff cannot happen.
- 11:01But his lone interception in this one wasn't that big of a
- 11:05deal. But again, complimentary
- 11:07football big for Oregon in this one.
- 11:09And on the other side, for a really talented offense in USC,
- 11:14they were really one-dimensional and they lose a turnover battle.
- 11:17Now the Trojans do have 382 yards in this one.
- 11:21They only get 52 yards on the ground at 1.86 yards a carry.
- 11:28That was really hurtful because now my Ava's having to drop back
- 11:33multiple times and they tested this Oregon defense that had
- 11:36been yet to really be tested by a true passing attack.
- 11:39Again, that was something I was looking for, but not being able
- 11:42to go to the ground in short yardage situations or maybe pick
- 11:47up 3 or 4 just to get ahead of the chains, continue to put USC
- 11:51in tough spots, continue to have to drop back my Ava.
- 11:54And he threw the ball 43 times. And when you're on the road up
- 11:58against a talented recruited defense, you know from Dan
- 12:03Laning and company, they're going to get stops, they're
- 12:05going to make plays. They're a little banged up on
- 12:07that side of the ball as well. But when you're dropping back 43
- 12:10times, it makes it really predictable.
- 12:13And that's why I think US CS biggest issue has been to this
- 12:17point this season, when you watch their games, when you look
- 12:19at their losses, like to Notre Dame, when they get behind, they
- 12:24can't rely on their run game to keep them involved and keep them
- 12:28ahead of schedule offensively within their drives.
- 12:31So they'll have to continue to throw the ball at a very high
- 12:34rate. And they had some good plays in
- 12:37this one. Don't get me wrong that they
- 12:39retried that double pass they showed against Illinois earlier
- 12:43in the season that they showed against Notre Dame earlier in
- 12:45the season. This one paid off as I think it
- 12:50was either Lemon or Lane delivered a touchdown pass off
- 12:53of, you know, one of those double passes.
- 12:55So that worked in this game. That was really big because that
- 12:58gave USC kind of AI look at those plays as bonus plays
- 13:02because they're not really something you can script up as a
- 13:05defense to defend because they come out of nowhere.
- 13:08But USC has done that twice this season. 1 of them got called
- 13:11back for a flag. The other one against Notre Dame
- 13:14resulted in a fumble and a turnover.
- 13:16And this one, they were able to get one of those bonus plays
- 13:18early. So I thought that was great for
- 13:20no momentum, but Oregon was able to respond and the fact that USC
- 13:25could not get anything on the ground game really hurt them.
- 13:28The second thing I mentioned, the turnover battle, they lose
- 13:30it 2 to one. Now you could say it was a wash
- 13:33basically because my ABBA throws one on 4th down, it's picked off
- 13:38and then Dante Moore throws 1, I think 2 plays later.
- 13:41So that was kind of a wash. But they did have one in a
- 13:45critical point as USC is trying to get back into this game, cut
- 13:49it within one possession and, and, and stuff like that.
- 13:53You know, losing the turnover battle and not being able to run
- 13:57the football is going to result in the type of result it did on
- 14:01Saturday where you lose by 15 points.
- 14:03So I think USC is a talented team.
- 14:06I think Maeava is a good quarterback, but they don't have
- 14:09the type of rushing attack necessary to fully run this
- 14:13offense the way they want to. And Maeava finishes 25 of 43 for
- 14:18306 yards and three touchdowns, but has two bad turnovers.
- 14:22And I, I talk about that run game being absent my Ava, who is
- 14:28a, you know, good athlete, a guy that can run, hit more yards per
- 14:32carry average than any other back and almost had as many
- 14:35yards as the leading back for this USC team.
- 14:38So I think that's an issue and it's something that USC is going
- 14:42to have to fix moving forward if they're going to want to contend
- 14:46on a national level, not and just let alone in the Big 10.
- 14:50If they want to make it to a Big 10 championship, they've got to
- 14:53be able to be more balanced in their attack on both sides of
- 14:57the ball and in these Rd. games, they're going to have to clean
- 15:00things up. I don't love Lincoln Riley on
- 15:02the road and that Illinois team is good but not great.
- 15:07And USC got down double digits and that one had to fight back.
- 15:11This is too talented of a team in terms of the receivers and
- 15:14personnel they have offensively to be getting behind because,
- 15:19you know, they're making incremental mistakes on drives
- 15:23or putting them behind the chains or not getting, you know,
- 15:26good situational football from the run game.
- 15:28This team is too talented for that.
- 15:30But it seems to be a common thread with these Lincoln Riley
- 15:33teams. Either they don't get
- 15:34complimentary football because their defense is so bad or that
- 15:37they can't get complimentary football within their own
- 15:40offense in the running attacks. So a disappointing loss for USC.
- 15:45They had their opportunities, but it's tough to go on the road
- 15:49and win in Eugene OR. They had their chances.
- 15:52But again, when you're 21 dimensional and turn over the
- 15:54ball, lose the turnover battle, you're not going to be able to
- 15:57beat a Dan Laning team. And that brings me to or back to
- 16:03Oregon because I do want to talk about what I make of them moving
- 16:07forward. Now, they got a big game against
- 16:08Washington in Week 14. Don't overlook that one because
- 16:12Damon Williams, junior at quarterback, is very, very
- 16:16talented. Jonah Coleman, one of the best
- 16:18backs in the country. This is going to be a big game.
- 16:22Oregon. Washington always is a big game.
- 16:25And now we get this one at the end of the season.
- 16:27This is going to be a fun one. And Oregon is most definitely in
- 16:32a tough spot here. They're going to be in trouble
- 16:33because this is a good Washington team.
- 16:37But I regardless of you know what I think going into this
- 16:41game right now for week 14, I'm not so sure that Oregon is a
- 16:45legit championship contender. I love Dan Lanning, but I just
- 16:51like this Oregon team. And don't get me wrong, this was
- 16:55the type of performance on Saturday that I was looking for
- 16:58from this team. The Ducks run defense has been
- 17:01really good over the last couple of weeks.
- 17:03They held Iowa to 101 yards, Minnesota to 62, USC to 52.
- 17:09Offensively, Kenyan Sadiq has become one of the toughest
- 17:12players in the country to defend, and I thought Benson
- 17:16looked the part on Saturday as a reliable target.
- 17:20But when you stack this team up against some of the best
- 17:22defenses in the country, I don't think this is a group that can
- 17:26March all the way to the national championship.
- 17:29There are moments when they lose composure on the offensive
- 17:33attack. They are still really banged up
- 17:36at a couple of those receiver spots I mentioned, Evan Stewart,
- 17:39the Corian Moore. They've got a little bit of a
- 17:42void there with those receivers and they have some head
- 17:45scratching lapses in their past defense as well.
- 17:49I think this is a good Oregon team, but they're not great and
- 17:53that's why right now I don't view this as a championship
- 17:57contending team. I love Dan Lanning and what he's
- 18:00done. I think he's one of the best
- 18:01coaches in the country. But I don't know if this Oregon
- 18:06team in the current state that they're in is going to be a team
- 18:11that wins two to three games, three to four games to hoist the
- 18:16championship trophy. So we'll see what they look like
- 18:19in this road match up against Washington.
- 18:21Again, going to be a really fun one, a part of a great slate of
- 18:25college football this weekend. But right now, I don't buy
- 18:29Oregon like the record or their standing currently tells them.
- 18:34And I love this Oregon team. Earlier in the season, I, I, I
- 18:37had, you know, high hopes for this group because Dante Moore
- 18:40did look the part of a Heisman Trophy quarterback, but he's
- 18:44kind of regressed over the second-half of the season.
- 18:48And that is an attribute to those receivers being out and
- 18:51being banged up. But this just doesn't look like
- 18:54a team right now that's playing their best football at this
- 18:56point in the year. And that's why I don't have them
- 18:59as a championship contender heading into Week 14.
- 19:06We'll move now to the SEC where we had Oklahoma and Missouri.
- 19:14The number 8 Sooners survive an early scare from the number 22
- 19:19Tigers. They win 17 to 6 in this one.
- 19:23Not your classic offensive showdown between SEC schools.
- 19:27This was kind of ugly for a good bit.
- 19:30And and then again, and it shows how strong this Oklahoma defense
- 19:34is. And that will be a take away of
- 19:36mine for sure. But really, for the first half,
- 19:40first quarter, Missouri dominated this one.
- 19:44And heading into it, I wanted to know, can Oklahoma's offense
- 19:48find some sort of rhythm the way they've been winning games as of
- 19:51late? I don't think it's a sustainable
- 19:53method through the course of the rest of the games.
- 19:56They had to go Missouri and LSU and also to make the College
- 20:00Football Playoff and win a game in the playoff.
- 20:04But, you know, John Matiers continue to get back from that
- 20:08injury he suffered early in the season on his thumb.
- 20:11Would this be the game? Where Oklahoma kind of wakes up
- 20:14offensively and is able to find some rhythm for Missouri.
- 20:18It's so crazy. And it's awesome, by the way,
- 20:21too, for probiula's sake, that this guy was wheeled off in a
- 20:25wheelchair a month ago against Vanderbilt and he's able to play
- 20:28in this one. So what does Missouri look like
- 20:30with him back in the mix? Because when he was playing,
- 20:33this was a team that lost by three points to Alabama at home
- 20:36and honestly could have had a chance to beat him.
- 20:40This is a team that was neck and neck with Vanderbilt on the road
- 20:44and in a tie game until Probula got hurt.
- 20:47So what does Missouri look like with Probula back in the mix and
- 20:52we get a Oklahoma win in the most unique fashion that they
- 20:58continue to do it in. And Oklahoma was out game for
- 21:03the four straight game Saturday. The Sooners total 276 yards of
- 21:08total offense, 173 yards in the air.
- 21:11But there's a little bit of an excerpt Mark there.
- 21:14They had 87 yards on one play and it was a great play to
- 21:17Isaiah Santanga coming across the middle of the field and
- 21:21routes it for 87 yards. But like when you say 173 yards
- 21:24in the air, you'd assume it was a pretty balanced attack.
- 21:27They were able to move the ball down the field with multiple
- 21:30passes. Not really the case because a
- 21:33lot of that is just off one play.
- 21:35If you exclude that one game, and I don't like playing
- 21:38hypotheticals here, but if you exclude that one play, they're
- 21:42under 100 yards for the game. Now.
- 21:45They did have 103 yards rushing. You're always going to get that
- 21:48with John Mateer. The running game is kind of been
- 21:51hot and cold for this group throughout the season.
- 21:54A lot of people assume that Jay Knott was going to be a bell cow
- 21:58running back for this team as he came out of Cal in the transfer
- 22:01portal last year, was one of the highest rated portal
- 22:04acquisitions and he's been absolutely nothing for this
- 22:07team. They've had to go to other guys,
- 22:09but this is just kind of how Oklahoma wins football games
- 22:13this year. John Mateer goes 14 to 30 for
- 22:15173 yards and two touchdowns. Rushes for 60.
- 22:20You like that dual threat ability?
- 22:22I I still think he's one of the best dual threat quarterbacks in
- 22:24the country. While he might not be as
- 22:27efficient and as dazzling as he was in the first half of the
- 22:30season, Mateer is still a guy that you have to key in on as a
- 22:34defense defensive unit because he can make plays and a snap.
- 22:39Isaiah Santango goes 3 receptions for 109 yards and a
- 22:42touchdown. Again, he's the one that had
- 22:44that 87 yard touchdown right before halftime.
- 22:49Yeah, it would have been halftime.
- 22:51Really. It wasn't really right before
- 22:53halftime. It was kind of the middle
- 22:55portion of the second quarter. But it was, it was interesting.
- 22:59It was interesting in this game because Missouri came out and
- 23:01really dominated the time of possession in the first quarter.
- 23:04I think Oklahoma only had like a possession and a half because
- 23:07Missouri sat on the football for a long time and they didn't take
- 23:11advantage of the opportunities. They miss a field goal, but
- 23:14Oklahoma's defense, they do their job.
- 23:16They get stops, but things were starting to get chippy and the
- 23:20crowd was starting to get a little angst right before that
- 23:2387 yard touchdown. You've got the fans in the in
- 23:27the in the, it's going to be in the stands cheering for a first
- 23:30down like a kind of 1/2 assed cheer.
- 23:33Like obviously they know they haven't been able to move the
- 23:35ball throughout the game. They get a first down, everyone
- 23:38kind of, you know, half assed cheers, and then 2 plays later,
- 23:43boom, 87 yards down the field and this thing's open wide for
- 23:47Oklahoma to find a way to win. Now, it was not because of their
- 23:51offense. They found a way to win.
- 23:53But that touchdown gave them some momentum, put the crowds
- 23:56and put the crowd at ease a little bit.
- 23:58And I thought that play was really the biggest 1 of this
- 24:02game because it's burned all the momentum.
- 24:04But Oklahoma's defense is the story for this team.
- 24:08Our Mason Thomas out for the second game in a row and it's no
- 24:11issue. Oklahoma forces A-Team to be 1
- 24:14dimensional for the third straight game.
- 24:17Missouri with Ahmad Hardy, who's, you know, up for one of
- 24:19the best running backs in the country right now, just 70 yards
- 24:23and two yards per carry as a group for Missouri.
- 24:28And Hardy went for like 300 yards the week before on 25
- 24:33carries. So this is a Missouri team
- 24:36obviously that brings back Per Beulah, but still wants to get
- 24:38stuff done on the ground. It was eliminated and Oklahoma
- 24:42did it against Tennessee. They did it against Alabama.
- 24:44You cannot rush on this team. And that was evident once again
- 24:48Saturday, which forced Beau Purbulla to have to make plays
- 24:52in the air and the Sooners forced 2 turnovers.
- 24:55They win the turnover battle, they sacked Purbulla 4 times,
- 24:58they win the sack battle and the Tigers go just three of 15 on
- 25:023rd down. This is the way that Oklahoma
- 25:05wins games now and it's not an effective way as you move into
- 25:10the post season because their offense is going to have to find
- 25:13a way to find some sort of rhythm and and be able to hang
- 25:17in games where you're going to be up against really talented
- 25:20offenses that are just going to be able to put up points because
- 25:22they're that good. But Oregon just find it's going
- 25:26to be Oklahoma just finds ways to win.
- 25:29They find ways to win with their defense.
- 25:31They get stops, they turn you over, they win the turnover
- 25:34battle. They stop you on 3rd down, they
- 25:37force you in a third and longs. This is a really good defense.
- 25:40We've seen it all year long and this has just become the way
- 25:44this group wins games. I don't like it.
- 25:47I don't think it's sustainable, but you have to give credit
- 25:49where credit's due. Without our Mason Thomas, who I
- 25:52think is one of the best edge rushers slash hybrid linebackers
- 25:56in college football, they find a way to win and hold a Missouri
- 26:00team that puts up a lot of points, usually an offensive
- 26:02minded Missouri team with Eli Drinkewitz to just six points.
- 26:07Real quick, do you want to touch on Purbulla Because I didn't
- 26:11expect to see him again this season.
- 26:13And the injury report comes out on Wednesday that he is
- 26:17questionable and then he's upgraded to go.
- 26:21And this was kind of a Beau Purbulla, John Matier esque game
- 26:26when when Matier played Texas, just not 100%, not there.
- 26:31He missed on a lot of touchy throws.
- 26:33And when I say touchy throws, I'm talking about, you know,
- 26:36ball placement. He had an opportunity on 1/4 and
- 26:39seven, I believe, to to get one to Kevin Coleman in the end
- 26:45zone. And just the touch on it was
- 26:47just a tad off. And that type of stuff is what
- 26:49loses you a game. And I'm not saying it's all
- 26:52Purbiula's fault, a fault I should say, because, you know,
- 26:56this is a guy that wants to play.
- 26:58He's a competitor. And Missouri is not in the
- 27:02College Football Playoff race. But heading into this, you could
- 27:05say maybe they you know it, it thinks could be interesting if
- 27:09they go on the road and get a top ten win.
- 27:11But Purpula goes 20 for 36231 yards and a touchdown.
- 27:16Just kind of a John material against Texas esque game where
- 27:19he just was off. And you, you credit the guy for
- 27:22playing, you credit the guy for battling and getting out on the
- 27:25field, But just not a solid performance from him.
- 27:30We'll move to Pittsburgh and Georgia Tech.
- 27:34The Panthers upset #16 Georgia Tech 42 to 28 on Saturday.
- 27:40And the Panthers still have a pulse for the ACC Championship
- 27:44and the College Football Playoffs.
- 27:48The last two weeks for Pittsburgh have been very
- 27:50interesting because they have, well, really, you could say the
- 27:55last six weeks have been really interesting because they make a
- 27:58quarterback change. Mason Heinstoel, now the
- 28:01quarterback, a true freshman for Pitt, and they spurn off five
- 28:06wins in a row, granted against bad ACC opponents, but they spin
- 28:11off five wins in a row. And now they play at Notre Dame
- 28:17last week, go up against a really, really solid Notre Dame
- 28:21team that's playing with a ton of momentum.
- 28:22We'll talk about them here more in a minute, but Heinstoel was
- 28:27over his skis. Pittsburgh were was over their
- 28:30skis. It was just not a good game from
- 28:32them. And heading into this one, I was
- 28:35wondering, could they bounce back from that ugly performance
- 28:39against Notre Dame? Just put it in the back pocket,
- 28:41put in the rear view mirror. It doesn't count in terms of ACC
- 28:46scheduling and ACC standing. So they're still alive and well
- 28:49heading into this one. They know that.
- 28:51But it's tough after you get handed a really, you know, tough
- 28:55draw in Notre Dame at this point in the season, and you could
- 28:58lose your confidence, especially with a freshman quarterback.
- 29:01And that wasn't the case because Georgia Tech's defense sucks.
- 29:07And I have been waiting for the opportunity for Georgia Tech to
- 29:11be exposed. It should have happened against
- 29:13Duke, but Duke got in their own way too often.
- 29:16It should have happened against Wake Forest, but Wake Forest
- 29:19decided to go for two and wasn't able to get it to go.
- 29:23It should have happened against NC State and it did as NC State
- 29:27went for 500 plus yards in that one.
- 29:31I just think Georgia Tech has been fraud all year.
- 29:34They don't play in a good schedule.
- 29:35They don't play in a good conference.
- 29:36I should say. They haven't played that tough
- 29:38of a schedule and they're going into this one at home on Senior
- 29:43Day with an opportunity to punch their ticket to the ACC
- 29:47Championship game. I actually, I, I, they, they
- 29:50play Georgia next week. So maybe they haven't seen your
- 29:52day then. But I mean, I, if I were having
- 29:54senior day, I would have it against a pit over a Georgia.
- 29:57But anyway, I, I, I kind of forgot the scheduling there.
- 30:01But yes, Georgia Tech host Georgia next week.
- 30:03So I guess senior Day will be next week there.
- 30:05But regardless or no, they're playing this feel like they're
- 30:10playing this at Mercedes-Benz. I feel I feel like they're still
- 30:13playing this at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
- 30:14I'll have to double check on that.
- 30:15Or you can Fact Check me right now.
- 30:17I know I'm the pad of facts and might have missed that one.
- 30:19But they've had so many different scheduling changes
- 30:21recently where like Tennessee, Georgia Tech was going to be at
- 30:25Mercedes-Benz Stadium next year. Now they've moved it to Bobby
- 30:29Dodd. I can't remember, can't remember
- 30:34if they if they kept Georgia, Georgia Tech at GT, but double
- 30:39check me on that one. Regardless.
- 30:41Georgia Tech at home opportunity to punch your ticket to the ACC
- 30:45championship game. And there were frauds, and
- 30:48they've been frauds, folks. Georgia Tech has always been a
- 30:51fraud to me. For the season, Georgia Tech's
- 30:54defensive numbers rank 77th in opponents points per game at
- 30:5827.2, a 106th in opponent yards per game at 417.8, a 113th in
- 31:06opponent yards per play at six point, 184th and 3rd down
- 31:10conversion rank at 41%, and then 123rd in fourth down conversion
- 31:16rank at 68th. This has never been a good
- 31:19defense. This has never been that good of
- 31:20a team. But Haines King has carried this
- 31:23group to a ton of wins. And when I see teams that have
- 31:27these type of lopsided metrics where the offense is able to
- 31:30produce but the defense is something you can't look at,
- 31:34that's a fraud. And at their record heading into
- 31:36this one with one loss, I've looked at this as a potential
- 31:41upset spot for Pittsburgh. That's why I had it on the
- 31:43paddle locks this past week. I like the Panthers here because
- 31:46it's the quintessential. You get knocked down the week
- 31:49before and handed it to you by a really good football team in
- 31:53Notre Dame, and now everyone's out on you.
- 31:56The public is no, we, we like Georgia Tech because we just
- 31:59watched the rankings every week and we get up on Saturday and
- 32:02look at the spreads and say Georgia Tech at 2 1/2 as a
- 32:05ranked team. Oh, let's take the Yellow
- 32:07Jackets. No, they're a fraud.
- 32:10They've been frauds. And I'm so glad Pittsburgh came
- 32:13in there and shut this thing down because them and BYU,
- 32:18Georgia Tech and BYU have been my fraud teams throughout the
- 32:20season. Thank gosh we closed the door on
- 32:23one of them. And give credit to Pittsburgh
- 32:26because they came out firing in this one and they came out with
- 32:30the identity of let's bounce back after last week.
- 32:33And they do all of this without Desmond Reed, the Panthers best
- 32:38playmaker ruled out for this game.
- 32:40He had fought so hard to get back for that Notre Dame game,
- 32:43but he got banged up in that one.
- 32:44So he's ruled out for this one. And that was a little bit of a
- 32:47concern for me because up against the team like Georgia
- 32:50Tech, that is been very high up in the luck rankings for me.
- 32:54You need, you know, some things to go well.
- 32:57I know that Georgia Tech has been really lucky, but it's just
- 33:00continued throughout the season. I didn't know if that was going
- 33:03to play into this one as well, but thankfully Desmond Reed did
- 33:07not matter because Pitt totals 412 yards of total offense at
- 33:126.1 yards per play. That met Georgia Tech's season
- 33:16average and opponent yards per play, and again, I'll reiterate
- 33:20that ranks 113th in the country. And then Pitt gets 226 yards in
- 33:25the air, 186 on the ground. A very balanced attack up
- 33:30against a defense that is constantly on their heels.
- 33:34Mason Heinstel 20 of 27 for 226 yards and two touchdowns.
- 33:39Jakiran Turner 21 carries for 201 yards and a touchdown. 201
- 33:48yards and a touchdown from Jakiran Turner.
- 33:53Man, what a day he had constantly picking up big yards.
- 33:58He had one run of 56 in this one, too, just constantly
- 34:03getting big plays after big plays.
- 34:06And Pittsburgh, for a team against Notre Dame that
- 34:10struggled to keep drives alive, struggled to stay ahead of the
- 34:13chains. That was not an issue here.
- 34:16I mentioned USC earlier, not having a run game be an issue
- 34:20for Pittsburgh. They're able to stay ahead of
- 34:21the chains and move the ball at will because they were able to
- 34:24get a complimentary attacked. Kenny Johnson was a big
- 34:27playmaker in the air because Desmond Reed, as I mentioned
- 34:31out, you know, he's a kind of one of these utility knives.
- 34:35He's a good running back, but he's also a pass catcher.
- 34:38You can use them a bunch of different ways and he's usually
- 34:41used that way for Pitt as he was in limited action against Notre
- 34:44Dame. So you get the run production
- 34:46from Turner and then Kenny Johnson goes 6 receptions for 91
- 34:50yards, got really good separation, made a couple of big
- 34:52plays over the course of this one and all of a sudden you look
- 34:55up and Pitt has jumped out to a 28 to nothing lead in the first
- 34:59half. So after that happened, I felt
- 35:03pretty comfortable. But Georgia Tech, they're a
- 35:05fighting team and they have done this throughout the season where
- 35:08they have been put in tough spots, they've been trailing,
- 35:10they've been out gained where they find ways to win.
- 35:13I thought 28 points was going to be a lot and it almost wasn't
- 35:17enough as Georgia Tech was able to drive late in this game, had
- 35:20an opportunity to possibly get within either to tie it up or to
- 35:26get within one A1 score that is. And then Hanes King throws a
- 35:30pick 6. But give credit to Georgia Tech.
- 35:33They fought. They fought in this one.
- 35:35And you know, this was a, a, a game where they knew they had to
- 35:43had to win. They knew they had to punch a
- 35:45ticket to the ACC championship if they had got it done.
- 35:49But Pitts, a team that has battled throughout the year, has
- 35:51been through their fair share of ups and downs.
- 35:54They got on this team early. They took the crowd out.
- 35:57They almost let up on the gas late, but it was a great win for
- 36:00Pittsburgh. I do want to give credit to
- 36:02Haynes King because he shined and has shined all year long on
- 36:08FOX my my radio show from 1:00 to 3:00 every Monday through
- 36:11Friday, Fox Sports Knoxville. My producer is a big Haynes King
- 36:16fan and he believes that he should be a Heisman
- 36:19representative. And while I think the numbers
- 36:22are there, I just don't think the strength of Georgia State as
- 36:24a team or it's going to be Georgia Tech as a team, is good
- 36:27enough to get him to that point. But this guy is a baller and
- 36:31he's your quintessential college football quarterback. 257 yards,
- 36:362 touchdowns in the air for 76 yards and a touchdown on the
- 36:39ground. This guy does it all.
- 36:42I will say I was disappointed with Jamal Haynes, who is the
- 36:46running back for this Yellow Jackets team.
- 36:48He was kind of a non factor, wasn't able to run the ball at A
- 36:52at a really good rate at all in this one.
- 36:54And Pittsburgh does have a really good rush defense.
- 36:56It wasn't shown against Notre Dame, but it's hard to show that
- 36:59when you're going up against a Heisman Trophy candidate and
- 37:03Jeremiah Love. But Hans King deserves a lot of
- 37:08credit because he is a hell of a player.
- 37:10I feel bad for him that he's got this bad of a defense, but he
- 37:14had a costly pick six turnover late and that's what kind of put
- 37:18the game out of reach for this Yellow Jackets team.
- 37:22But Haynes King do want to give him credit.
- 37:23He's a hell of a football player, has done it throughout
- 37:25his career and, you know, deserves a lot of credit for
- 37:29what he's been able to do for the Yellow Jackets.
- 37:32All right, we'll move now to other notable results.
- 37:36We have a sip of water and we'll continue one SEC.
- 37:45There we go. Also, I hope you cannot hear the
- 37:48construction going on in the valley above my above my
- 37:54apartment because I you know, I live in this apartment complex
- 37:57in Knoxville and there's a dip. We got this nice courtyard,
- 38:02really good foliage, grass. It's nice.
- 38:04But then up the hill, they're building like 3 apartments, so
- 38:08they are sewing like no one else's business.
- 38:10It's kind of throwing me off a couple of times in this episode,
- 38:12I'm not going to lie, but I hope that's not a factor in this.
- 38:17You're not able to hear it because I do put a silencer on
- 38:20it both when I record it and then when I go into post
- 38:23production. But I just want to double check
- 38:25because it is kind of annoying. So anyway, we'll continue.
- 38:29Other notable results #20 Tennessee swamps Florida 31 to
- 38:3511 in Gainesville and being someone that covers Tennessee
- 38:40for a living here in Knoxville, this was a big one.
- 38:44Josh Hypel had to have this one and he left no questions.
- 38:48Whether it's fair or not, Josh Hypel has faced a lot of
- 38:52criticism for the way that Tennessee has lost their three
- 38:55games this year, and a loss on Saturday against this Florida
- 38:59team would have started some uncomfortable conversations for
- 39:03Hypo and company. Instead, Tennessee goes for 452
- 39:08yards of total offense. They played really good
- 39:11complimentary football both offensively and defensively and
- 39:15within both units, which is not something they've done
- 39:17throughout the season. They get more than 200 yards on
- 39:21both the ground and the air. Offensively, they go 9 of 13 on
- 39:253rd down as a team, and they played, I thought, their most
- 39:29complete game of the season on the offensive and defensive side
- 39:34of the football. Because early in the season
- 39:38against Syracuse, Tennessee came out of that one really, really
- 39:42good in the first half offensively.
- 39:44But the defense kind of let up. Against Kentucky a couple of
- 39:47weeks back, Tennessee's offense was firing on all cylinders for
- 39:50the defense to allow a lot of big plays in the SEC games.
- 39:54This has been the most complete Tennessee has played this season
- 39:58and I thought it came at a really, really good time.
- 40:00As I mentioned, Hypal, a lot of criticism, a lot of pressure to
- 40:04win this one. And look, the the I hate the
- 40:08SEC. People complain every week that
- 40:11Tennessee at 9:00 and 3:00 or or a three loss team I should say,
- 40:15is not deserving of being in the top 25, but walking into a
- 40:19place. That Tennessee is not won since
- 40:222003 and doing that, that shows they more than belong.
- 40:29And there have been a lot of teams that have gone toe to toe
- 40:31with Florida this season. Ole Miss hosted the Gators a
- 40:35couple of weeks ago. That was a 10 point win, really
- 40:38should have been three because Ole Miss added in a touchdown
- 40:40late. Georgia went toe to toe with
- 40:43this Florida team, Florida beat Texas.
- 40:46Florida's a good football team. They're very talented, but they
- 40:50just are so inconsistent and, and drive to drive.
- 40:54They're they're just, they're just not a consistent team.
- 40:57But the I hate SEC people, excuse me, The I hate SEC people
- 41:02will complain about it and say that Tennessee shouldn't be
- 41:06ranked, but performances like these prove that they should.
- 41:09Josh Hypel knew he had to walk into Gainesville with a win, and
- 41:14he comes out of one with a huge performance offensively and one
- 41:18of the best performances for Tennessee this season.
- 41:21That was a statement made heading into Week 14 for another
- 41:25big one against Vanderbilt. And looking at the numbers here
- 41:28specifically, Joey Aguilar goes 17 of 22 for 204 yards and a
- 41:33touchdown. He continues his streak that
- 41:36dates back to Appalachian State where he's thrown for over 200
- 41:40yards. And I think it's now up to I
- 41:44don't even I don't even want to say the wrong number because
- 41:45it's a lot. It's, you know, 20 plus games
- 41:48he's thrown for more than 20 or 200 yards.
- 41:50This guy's a gunslinger. Tennessee knew that he has
- 41:53exceeded expectations as a guy that came over from the G5 level
- 41:58now starting in the SEC. And there's a chance, there's a
- 42:02chance he could be Tennessee starting quarterback again next
- 42:05season. But a guy that I've really
- 42:07loved, Deshawn Bishop, a Knoxville native, went to Carnes
- 42:11High School, walked on this Tennessee team originally
- 42:14because there weren't enough spots for scholarships.
- 42:17He goes 24 carries for 116 yards and two touchdowns in this one.
- 42:21He's earned a scholarship, by the way.
- 42:23He's on scholarship now. But it's just a cool story.
- 42:26A local kid that wants to play for the hometown team and now
- 42:31he's become running back one for this group.
- 42:33And this is a team that last year had Dylan Sampson, an SEC
- 42:36player of the year, the year before that had a Jalen Wright,
- 42:39who's now in the NFL. This has been a a really, really
- 42:42good string of running backs that Tennessee has pumped out.
- 42:46And Deshawn Bishop, a guy that didn't even receive a
- 42:48scholarship when he got here, has become the RB one for this
- 42:52team now * Thomas, the other running back available for this
- 42:56one as Payne Lewis, their their third back, their second back,
- 43:00whatever you want, whatever order you want to call it in, he
- 43:02was out * Thomas goes 9 carries for 71 yards.
- 43:06He's the Duke transfer. Had a really big run in the
- 43:09first half that gashed this thing open for Tennessee.
- 43:13And I thought another big development in this one was
- 43:17Ethan Davis at tight end. Coming into the season, Miles
- 43:20Kitzelman was supposed to be regarded as one of the top tight
- 43:23ends in the country, and it was deservedly so considering what
- 43:27he did in 2024. But this year he's been nagged
- 43:32by drop balls and, you know, not being able to bring the football
- 43:36in has caused a couple of bad interceptions for Joey Aguilar.
- 43:40Kitzelman unfortunately got banged up against New Mexico
- 43:43State. This opens the door for Ethan
- 43:45Davis, who had missed an early much of the early part of the
- 43:49season due to injury, but over the last couple of weeks since
- 43:52he has been back, he's been a focal point of this offensive
- 43:55passing attack. He goes 5 receptions for 72
- 43:58yards and a touchdown. He had the first score of the
- 44:01game on Josh Hypel's quintessential first drive,
- 44:06first scripted Dr. of the game. It was beautiful.
- 44:09Ethan Davis capped it off with a nice touchdown and this
- 44:12Tennessee team is not going to be in the College Football
- 44:14Playoff. They can look back at the, you
- 44:17know, the, the, the games behind them over the course of the
- 44:21season and and be upset with themselves that they didn't play
- 44:25in all facets for really any game in, in terms of play, good
- 44:30in all facets for any game this season.
- 44:32But they did in this one and for Vol Nation and for Josh Hypo and
- 44:37for this team, this was a must win game.
- 44:39And I feel like the morale is most certainly there as
- 44:42Tennessee heads into a top 25 matchup against Vanderbilt.
- 44:46Tennessee is a good football team.
- 44:48Just, you know, against Georgia, got in their own way, made
- 44:51mistakes. Against Alabama, made mistakes,
- 44:53Oklahoma made mistakes. Just haven't played all together
- 44:56throughout the course of the season.
- 44:58But against a really talented opponent in Florida in a really
- 45:04tough environment, one they haven't won in since 2003,
- 45:08Tennessee puts together a really good performance.
- 45:10On the other side, DJ Lagway, 11 for 17116 yards and a touchdown.
- 45:16This is just kind of the story of this season for him.
- 45:19Just a guy that you see it sometimes and a guy that you
- 45:22don't see it sometimes. And I like Lagway.
- 45:24I think he can still be something in college football,
- 45:28whether it's for Florida or for another team if he decides to
- 45:31enter the portal. But there's just too much chaos
- 45:34with this team period right now, and the fact that you've got 25%
- 45:38of your scholarship players unavailable at this point in the
- 45:40season tells you the type of year that Florida's had.
- 45:44So I'm not out on DJ Lagway. If I did it again in August and
- 45:49we were heading into the season knowing what we watched last
- 45:52year, I would still say that DJ Lagway is a guy you should
- 45:55consider as a top quarterback. Now, that's obviously not saying
- 45:59what we've seen transpire this season, but at this point last
- 46:03year, Lagway was playing really good football, strung off a ton
- 46:06of big wins. They beat Ole Miss, they beat
- 46:08LSU, they have big wins, and Lagway deserved the praise he
- 46:13got in the offseason because he is a really talented player and
- 46:16I know he'll be talented somewhere else.
- 46:18If it's not Florida. I just hate to see him having
- 46:21this type of year. But really, when you look at the
- 46:23rest of the Florida team, you see how and why it has been this
- 46:27type of year because there's just chaos and inconsistencies
- 46:31throughout this roster. And another big thing too, Jaden
- 46:34Ball, he goes 18 carries for 96 yards.
- 46:37This guy's a true sophomore and he's going to be a playmaker for
- 46:41someone next season. Again, whether it be for Florida
- 46:43or whether it be for another team.
- 46:45Jaden Ball is a name to know heading in the next year.
- 46:47I think he could be a top 10 running back heading in the next
- 46:50season because he is really good.
- 46:52And if Florida gave him the ball more often, maybe this Florida
- 46:56team isn't where they are right now with eight losses heading
- 47:00into the final week of the season.
- 47:03All right, Notre Dame and Syracuse, this was a game that I
- 47:07didn't know. I didn't need to talk about.
- 47:09I love talking Notre Dame. I feel like I've become Notre
- 47:12Dame's media, you know, media support outlet over the last
- 47:18couple of years because last year I really like this team.
- 47:20I had them in the College Football Playoff, national
- 47:22championship game. They went to it.
- 47:24And this year I see a lot of the same characteristics as last
- 47:28year. Notre Dame decimates Syracuse 70
- 47:32to 7 in this one and Notre Dame is on the exact same warpath as
- 47:38they were this time last year. The Fighting Irish go for 329
- 47:43yards on the ground at 13.7 yards per carry and had Syracuse
- 47:48have their worst loss, excuse me?
- 47:51And handed Syracuse's worst loss since 1893.
- 47:56Jeremiah Love 8 carries for 171 yards and three touchdowns.
- 48:02Chris Ashe's defense holds Syracuse to just 207 yards and
- 48:07forces 3 turnovers. Scores a defensive touchdown.
- 48:10Sack Filardi five times. Just like last year, this team
- 48:15is playing the best football in the country.
- 48:18From Week 3 on. The offense is balanced, They
- 48:22give the ball to Jeremiah Love, the best back in the country.
- 48:25Their defense shuts you down. They make plays on their own.
- 48:29They can score on their own as a defense, and they're on an
- 48:33absolute warpath for the second straight season heading into the
- 48:38College Football playoffs. This is a really, really good
- 48:41team. And I talked about them last
- 48:43week. I said get on the wagon while
- 48:45you can. And I really think the Wagon
- 48:47might have already left with the way they've been playing.
- 48:49But every Tuesday night we have the same silly conversation.
- 48:55Will Miami beat Notre Dame head to
- 49:15Has 2 ranked wins since then. They're not playing the same
- 49:19type of football and I'm not so sure Miami is even in the
- 49:24College Football Playoff conversation after this week as
- 49:27they travel to Pitt and Pitt wins these type of games at home
- 49:31when a big opponent comes to town.
- 49:33And Mario Cristobal doesn't win those type of games in November
- 49:38as he still has a losing record as the Miami Hurricanes coach at
- 49:426:00 and 9:00 in November. So I I get so annoyed of the
- 49:47Notre Dame, Miami conversation. If you want to put them both in,
- 49:51that's fine if that's your way of allowing Miami to make it.
- 49:54But Notre Dame is playing much better football at this point in
- 49:57the season. Context is everything.
- 50:00I'm not saying head to head doesn't matter, but head to head
- 50:03in week one of the season when you've got a new quarterback and
- 50:06you've got a new defensive coordinator and you're trying to
- 50:08figure things out and you only lose by three points.
- 50:12If Notre Dame and Miami matched up right now, Notre Dame would
- 50:15be favored on a neutral site field.
- 50:17Notre Dame would probably be a short underdog at Miami or a a
- 50:23short favorite, I should say, at Miami.
- 50:25Notre Dame's just playing better football and there's nothing
- 50:27wrong with that, folks. But everyone just does this head
- 50:30to And I don't care that Miami is running off, you know,
- 50:43Virginia Tech and running off NC State.
- 50:46I don't care about that. I care about Notre Dame picking
- 50:49up two ranked wins since they've played Miami and decimating
- 50:55teams over the course of that. They're just on a different
- 50:59level right now. But Notre Dame, huge win on
- 51:01Saturday, impressive as can be. They're a really good football
- 51:05team. They deserve your College
- 51:07Football Playoff recognition. A couple of games real quick in
- 51:10the Big 12 #12 Utah fends off playoff elimination against
- 51:14Kansas State. This was an ugly one from Utah
- 51:18and one of these games that is not something to really be
- 51:23excited about as you're entering the final weeks of the season.
- 51:25But Kansas State, granted, they have a talented team.
- 51:28They've got, you know, a solid coach.
- 51:31This was supposed to be the Big 12 champion at the beginning of
- 51:34the season in terms of who the media projected, but the utes
- 51:38trail by 10 points with three minutes to go and they found a
- 51:41way to win. I'll give them credit.
- 51:42Devin Dampier, a guy I really liked out of the portal, out of
- 51:45New Mexico, has been inconsistent in some of these
- 51:49big games. Wasn't great in the air in this
- 51:51one goes 18 of 33 for 259 yards. I like the yardage, not the
- 51:56efficiency, but did have two touchdowns and he goes 94 yards
- 52:00and two touchdowns on the ground, including one at the end
- 52:03of the game, which ended up being the game-winning touchdown
- 52:05that he just put his head down and marched right through.
- 52:07I I like that type of tenacity and aggression from an
- 52:11undersized quarterback way. Sean Parker, a guy I've
- 52:14mentioned on here before, I think he's a very underrated
- 52:16back in the big 1200 yards on the ground here.
- 52:20Utah's offense was able to keep up.
- 52:24But I mean, the defense is really, you know, what you
- 52:27should be upset about if you're Utah right now because they've
- 52:30had a couple of these games where it's just like they just
- 52:33collapse in in some aspects. But you get 100 yards on the
- 52:36ground from Parker. And then the utes had four
- 52:39different receivers go over 50 yards receiving here.
- 52:41So again, they were getting it done offensively.
- 52:45They might have been down because they didn't take
- 52:47advantage of a couple of early possessions and allowed Kansas
- 52:50State to get a comfortable advantage early, but they were
- 52:53able to get back into this one and they did it in all, all
- 52:56facets, A complimentary football.
- 52:58So I'll give the Utah offense a lot of credit, but I do have
- 53:01questions about this Utah defense.
- 53:03They were gashed against BYU. They were gashed against Texas
- 53:07Tech. And they have beaten teams
- 53:09pretty handily, like a Arizona State when Arizona State,
- 53:13granted, was pretty banged up, but this was a bad performance
- 53:16on your home field. You allow Joe Jackson and this
- 53:20is not, you know, I don't want to take away from what Joe
- 53:22Jackson did, but you allow a Kansas State running back to go
- 53:26for 24 carries and 293 yards, 3 touchdowns for Jackson.
- 53:32And Jackson's a really good, you know, playmaker, really good
- 53:35running back. He was, you know, supposed to
- 53:37split time with Dylan Edwards at the beginning of this season.
- 53:39Edwards, the former Colorado running back that transferred
- 53:43over to Kansas State. And now he is in the portal not
- 53:46going to play any longer for this Kansas State team.
- 53:49Also, you might remember in Week 0, which is so long ago, Dylan
- 53:53Edwards was the guy that had the muff punt on the 1st punt of the
- 53:57season on national TV. Regardless of that, Joe Jackson
- 54:00has taken this role on well and was really, really good on
- 54:04Saturday. A lot of the same things that
- 54:06Kansas State lost this game for the same reasons why they're A5
- 54:10and six team. They they can hang around with
- 54:12anyone in the country. They can't finish games.
- 54:14That's been their issue all year long.
- 54:16They did it against Iowa State, they did it against Baylor.
- 54:19It's just who this team is. They hang around, but they can't
- 54:21win. But it's a concern for Utah to
- 54:24allow 293 to one individual player.
- 54:28Utah's not out of the College Football Playoff race yet.
- 54:31They've got no direct path to the Big 12 championship game.
- 54:36So life looks pretty tough for them in order to make the
- 54:40playoff, but maybe they could get a couple of losses from
- 54:43these teams ahead of them and then they maybe, maybe, maybe
- 54:46can sneak in. But performances like that
- 54:49Saturday doesn't seem deserving to to sneak in over some other
- 54:54teams to make all right, final recap and it's BYU.
- 55:00I'm so tired of watching this team.
- 55:02So tired of talking about this team.
- 55:04I am so ready for them to be frauded off the field.
- 55:07Thankfully Georgia Tech was frauded off.
- 55:10Thankfully Pitt did their part, but for BYU, the frauds win
- 55:18again. Give them credit.
- 55:20Frauds win #11 BYU defeat Cincinnati 26 to 14 on the road
- 55:27and Cincinnati's a team that was ranked earlier in the season.
- 55:31They lost in Nebraska in Week 1. They got a signature win over
- 55:36Iowa State. They lost to Utah on the road
- 55:39where they were just ran off the field.
- 55:42Then last week they lost to Arizona.
- 55:43I was hoping that Cincinnati could have kept this one close,
- 55:46could have come out with a win, getting Evan Pryor back at
- 55:49running back, giving Goldie back at wide receiver.
- 55:53I was hoping that Cincinnati would be up for the calls, but
- 55:57no BYU. The frauds win again and I am
- 56:02still not buying BYU. I've had two fraud teams this
- 56:05year and one of them was finally exposed Saturday and Georgia
- 56:08Tech BYU is the next in line and I will give them credit where
- 56:12credit is due. BYU's defense is very good.
- 56:15They ranked 16th and opponents points per game.
- 56:18The Cougars forced 2 turnovers and held Cincinnati to 4 of 13
- 56:22on 3rd down. The 4th ranked red zone defense
- 56:25held since he to just one for three in the red zone.
- 56:29I think this is a really good defense offensively.
- 56:32I have concerns and that's why they are frauds now.
- 56:35LJ Martin had a hell of a night Saturday.
- 56:37Don't get me wrong, he goes 222 and two touchdowns on 32
- 56:42carries. But my issue with this team and
- 56:45the reason why I believe there are frauds is I don't believe
- 56:47they have a passing attack and I don't believe in Bear Bochmeier.
- 56:50I don't think Bear Bochmeier is taking this team anywhere.
- 56:53This is an average passing attack that ranks 104th in the
- 56:56country in pass play percentage, meaning they're very predictable
- 57:01and they will be way too predictable in big games and
- 57:04don't have the passing attack to go up against the leads.
- 57:07We saw this against Texas Tech 2 weeks ago.
- 57:10The Red Raiders got an early lead.
- 57:12BYU asked to lean on the pass game.
- 57:14They can't get it done. LJ Martin is a great back, they
- 57:17can get a lot of production there, but they don't have the
- 57:20passing attack to get it done. And if this is a team that makes
- 57:22the College Football Playoff, I think they'll get run off the
- 57:25field. I don't buy BYU one bit at this
- 57:29point in the season because I think they're 21 dimensional.
- 57:31I think their defense is great. I think they're running a game
- 57:34or running rushing attack is something to keep an eye on, but
- 57:38Bear Bachmeier in this passing attack are non existent.
- 57:42This is going to be way too predictable of a team.
- 57:44And if BYU makes the College Football Playoff, I cannot wait
- 57:48to fade this team with multiple units.
- 57:51That is all the time BYU will get today.
- 57:55All right, let's move now to the college football landscape, the
- 58:00college football world. If you check your phone or you
- 58:03check Twitter, you check Instagram, whatever it may be,
- 58:06hopefully you're already following the pad of fax to keep
- 58:08up with everything at the pad of fax on Instagram, at the pad of
- 58:11fax on Twitter, at TP fax on sports, on TikTok.
- 58:14I continue. You don't you know all about
- 58:17Lane Kiffin in what's going on because it is the talk of the
- 58:23town. It's all anyone wants to bring
- 58:25up yet. This is a 11 and one Ole Miss
- 58:28team or it's going to be a 10 and one Ole Miss team that is
- 58:31going to be in the College Football Playoff.
- 58:33Very well could host. And I talked about Lane Kiffin a
- 58:37little bit last week when we were on doing this.
- 58:39I was checking my phone to make sure I'm up to date and haven't
- 58:42missed Lane Kiffin's announcement.
- 58:43Now I know that Kiffin is waiting till after the Egg Bowl
- 58:48to make his final decision on this and Mississippi State play
- 58:51on Friday and the decision will come out on Saturday.
- 58:55So that tells me where this is headed.
- 58:59But on three reports that Florida, LSU and Ole Miss are
- 59:02all offering around the same type of deal, the same type of
- 59:05money. So for a guy that said, you
- 59:09know, not too long ago, that money is not a factor here, he's
- 59:12not going to make any decisions off of money, then that would be
- 59:16pretty present here. So he's just going to pick where
- 59:18he wants to go. You know, I was told two weeks
- 59:21ago that Kiffin had no idea where he wanted to go.
- 59:25And I was, you know, told about Florida's offer.
- 59:29I've, you know, heard a good bit about LSU and, and where they
- 59:32are right now and their process. Both Florida and LSU think
- 59:36they're in a really good spot. That's The funny thing about
- 59:38this, because I'll talk to LSU people and they'll say, yeah,
- 59:42we, we feel like we're in a good spot.
- 59:43Some even call it a done deal for Florida.
- 59:46They feel like they're in a good spot.
- 59:47They met with his people on Thursday night.
- 59:50And there's Ole Miss. No one in Ole Miss feels like
- 59:53they're in a good spot right now, and Lane Kiffin watch has
- 59:57been truly just ridiculous to watch unfold.
- 1:00:01Honestly, I I've never seen something dominate the media
- 1:00:07like this story when the team is as good as they are.
- 1:00:13And here's my Lane Kiffin take away.
- 1:00:19Lane Kiffin is about to leave Ole Miss before he can even reap
- 1:00:23the rewards. Ole Miss gave Lane Kiffin a
- 1:00:26second chance. Lane Kiffin strive to rebuild a
- 1:00:29program and bring a national championship to them, and now
- 1:00:33he's had the opportunity to do so in Oxford.
- 1:00:36He has done that, but now he's about to pick up and leave just
- 1:00:41to go do it all over again somewhere else without even
- 1:00:45benefiting from all the progress he's made at his current place.
- 1:00:49Look, LSU and Florida are better programs.
- 1:00:53Anyone would want that job and I'm not denying that.
- 1:00:57You know, those are better opportunities for them.
- 1:01:00The recruiting pools are better, the history is better, the
- 1:01:03programs are better. That's not a diss an Ole Miss,
- 1:01:05but I think even if you asked Ole Miss fans they would
- 1:01:08understand that as well. But the timing of this and the
- 1:01:12way he has handled this has been extremely poor.
- 1:01:16Ole Miss is a one loss team and could host a College Football
- 1:01:19Playoff game, yet the narrative around this team is about him
- 1:01:23and his future. That's awful for the kids in the
- 1:01:27locker room that have worked their tail off to get to this
- 1:01:29moment. That is awful for the school
- 1:01:31that has given you every single resource possible and given you
- 1:01:34a second chance just to be on this stage.
- 1:01:38And that is awful for a fan base that has fully embraced you.
- 1:01:43Look, there's no perfect way to handle this.
- 1:01:46But if he knew he was leaving, he should have come out and said
- 1:01:49a long time ago, hey, I'm interested in other jobs, but I
- 1:01:53am focused on this team and finishing out this season to
- 1:01:56achieve the goals that this team set out in August.
- 1:02:00And that says, I'm going to play all the way through our season,
- 1:02:03and if we go to a national championship game, I'll be on
- 1:02:06the sidelines coaching that. That way everyone is on the same
- 1:02:10page and not getting dragged along like some Netflix
- 1:02:13documentary would write up. You know, Kiffin was frustrated
- 1:02:17about Quin Sean Judkins when he left for Ohio State just a year
- 1:02:21ago, talking about there was no more loyalty in college
- 1:02:23football. Well, now Lane Kiffin has turned
- 1:02:27into Quin Sean Kiffin by doing the same thing.
- 1:02:32I know a lot of old miss people. My mom went Ole Miss.
- 1:02:35I've always been surrounded by Ole Miss stuff and I'm very well
- 1:02:39aware of what's going on. And I'm not looking at this from
- 1:02:42the old Miss lens because that might come off that way.
- 1:02:45But I'm looking at it from the perspective of this is a really
- 1:02:49good football team that's 11 and or 10.
- 1:02:51It's going to be 10 and one, a 10 and one football team that is
- 1:02:55about to host a College Football Playoff game for the first time
- 1:02:57ever. They've they've achieved three
- 1:03:00straight 10 win seasons never been done in the school's
- 1:03:02history. You've built this program.
- 1:03:06Finish it out the right way. If you leave and go to LSU in
- 1:03:09Florida, no one is going to say that's the wrong move.
- 1:03:12Anyone. Would you know anyone in life if
- 1:03:15if the job opens up that you've always wanted or a job that you
- 1:03:18believe is a step up and pay or a step up in opportunities you
- 1:03:22take, I would do the same, but finish where you started at your
- 1:03:28current place. You know, if I were to leave my
- 1:03:31current job, I would finish out the season or finish out the
- 1:03:35time where I thought it was best to leave, not in the middle of a
- 1:03:41College Football Playoff push. It's unfair to all of those
- 1:03:44kids. I was talking to guys who have
- 1:03:47been in that locker room, and right now it's kind of chaotic.
- 1:03:50You've got guys reposting stuff on Twitter and TikTok, talking
- 1:03:54about how Kiffin has kind of messed things up.
- 1:03:58You've got Trinidad Chambliss coming out on Twitter saying
- 1:04:01that this team is fully focused. You know that that stuff doesn't
- 1:04:06happen if things are going correctly.
- 1:04:10I've got people inside that building telling me that the
- 1:04:13vibes are off and the vibes are off.
- 1:04:15Heading into a rivalry matchup with Mississippi State in a shot
- 1:04:21to go play in the College Football Playoff, a shot to go
- 1:04:23play in a national championship, that's a problem.
- 1:04:27And Lane Kiffin, for as many bad decisions as he's made
- 1:04:30throughout his career, I thought he had grown up.
- 1:04:33But he has not handled this situation like a grown up.
- 1:04:37And I really feel for those Ole Miss fans and really feel for
- 1:04:41that Ole Miss football team in that locker room that has fought
- 1:04:44their tail off for this point. Shame on on the way this has
- 1:04:47been handled. All right, getting towards the
- 1:04:51end here, let's get my top 25 teams in college football.
- 1:04:55Let me pull up this graphic real quick so I can read it out.
- 1:04:58I do this every week. It's not like I, you know, just
- 1:05:02I need something to look at for it, but I just want to make sure
- 1:05:04I get everything down. And then I'll tell you those 7
- 1:05:08contenders that I have. All right #25 Georgia Tech.
- 1:05:11I still threw them in there. 2 lost team.
- 1:05:14I'm not crazy over them, but I I thought it was too dramatic to
- 1:05:17knock them all the way out #24 Pit.
- 1:05:19They get the head to head win over Georgia Tech.
- 1:05:21They move to 24. SMU picks up a underrated win
- 1:05:25over the weekend against Louisville.
- 1:05:27They shredded them off the field.
- 1:05:29They move up to 23. They've got that win over Miami
- 1:05:31that carries some nice weight #22 Navy 21, Tulane 20 N Texas.
- 1:05:37Those teams move up as other teams dropped out #19 Virginia
- 1:05:42#18 USC. I put them behind Tennessee
- 1:05:46because I think Tennessee has been closer and a lot of these
- 1:05:49bigger games and has lost to better opponents.
- 1:05:52So 18 USC, 17 Tennessee, 16 Michigan.
- 1:05:57They've got a big one this weekend against Ohio State in
- 1:05:59the game. 15 Utah. I dropped the utes back a couple
- 1:06:03of spots. Was unimpressed with their
- 1:06:04performance Saturday. 14 Texas, The Longhorns have a little bit
- 1:06:09of a scary first half, but they're able to put it on in the
- 1:06:11second-half. Arch Manning with six touchdowns
- 1:06:15and had three different ways he scored them, both passing,
- 1:06:18rushing and as a receiver. That's right.
- 1:06:22And as a receiver, he's the first SEC player to do so since
- 1:06:25Pharaoh Cooper at South, excuse me, South Carolina in 2014.
- 1:06:30Thirteen. Miami, the Hurricanes get a win
- 1:06:33over Virginia Tech Got a little interesting late, but Miami
- 1:06:36moves up #12 BYU, they're going to continue to stay at this
- 1:06:40point. They'll win games, but I don't
- 1:06:41have them moving up much further. 11 Vanderbilt a big
- 1:06:45match up against Tennessee on Saturday.
- 1:06:48They dazzled against Kentucky. Diego Pavia had 530 something
- 1:06:53yards of offense and six touchdowns.
- 1:06:55Really big performance for him in his final game at Vandy #10.
- 1:06:59Notre Dame 9 Alabama 8 Oklahoma 7 Ole Miss 6, Oregon 5, Texas
- 1:07:05Tech 4. Georgia 3 Texas A and M2 Indiana
- 1:07:091 Ohio State. Those are the same as last week,
- 1:07:12so that's why I go in a little bit of a faster order.
- 1:07:16So before we get to my final thoughts about what's going down
- 1:07:21in Brazil here next year, I do want to talk about my contenders
- 1:07:27and pretenders heading into the final couple or the final week
- 1:07:32of the season, championship weekend in the College Football
- 1:07:35Playoff selection day show. So we had this conversation on
- 1:07:41my radio broadcast during the week on Fox Sports Knoxville.
- 1:07:45We do a buy or sell segment and a contending contending question
- 1:07:48segment. And one of them I did was how
- 1:07:51many teams are legitimate College Football Playoff
- 1:07:53contenders? And I take my the, the, the top
- 1:07:5815 teams right now are the teams I'll I'll bracket in this that
- 1:08:02are I'm going to compare because I think everyone outside the top
- 1:08:0415 not going to make the playoff anyway, wouldn't be a contender
- 1:08:07anyway. I don't think Utah's a
- 1:08:10contender, but I wouldn't have them in the in the field right
- 1:08:13now. I think Texas on a good day
- 1:08:15could be 1. I don't have them in the field.
- 1:08:17Miami know, BYU know, we'll focus on the legitimate ones
- 1:08:21because the top ten teams right now, I think there are 7 teams
- 1:08:29that could win the national championship.
- 1:08:30Out of my top ten, there are 7 teams that can win it.
- 1:08:33So I'll redo the redo that top 10 real quick so you can get on
- 1:08:36the same page with me #10 Notre Dame 9, Alabama 8, Oklahoma 7,
- 1:08:42Ole Miss 6 Oregon 5, Texas Tech 4, Georgia 3, Texas A and M2
- 1:08:49Indiana 1. Ohio State.
- 1:08:50Those are my 10 teams. Seven of them have a legitimate
- 1:08:55chance to make it. My seven teams that I believe
- 1:09:00that can make the College Football Playoff are as follows
- 1:09:03#10 well, that's not how I wanted to do this.
- 1:09:08Hold on, time out, we'll restart because I don't really want to
- 1:09:12put a ranking by them too, because I'm probably going to
- 1:09:14put this out on TikTok or Instagram as my team.
- 1:09:17So let me restart that. Let me let me restart from the
- 1:09:20top. There are 7 teams that I believe
- 1:09:23can make the College Football Playoff.
- 1:09:25Notre Dame playing the best football out of anyone in the
- 1:09:28country. They've got a defense that is
- 1:09:30making plays and getting stops. They turn things around.
- 1:09:33Jeremiah Love and then offense unstoppable right now 9.
- 1:09:40I did it again. I did it again.
- 1:09:42I don't want to put numbers in front of these teams.
- 1:09:45There's an omissions that's back-to-back.
- 1:09:48Alabama is a team that I still think can win the national
- 1:09:52championship. I think offensively they've
- 1:09:55taken a couple of steps back, but the defense, the personnel
- 1:09:58they have is there and they've got the type of star power.
- 1:10:01Offensively, if they're able to continue to get things moving,
- 1:10:04they are a championship contender.
- 1:10:07Texas Tech, One of the most underrated teams in college
- 1:10:10football because everyone outside of the SEC doesn't
- 1:10:12really watch them play and they are damn good.
- 1:10:15Best linebacker in the country. Best defensive end in the
- 1:10:18country. They've got one of the best
- 1:10:19defenses, period. Offensively, they're a machine.
- 1:10:23They've got plenty of NFL caliber players on that roster.
- 1:10:26If Baron Morton stays healthy, this is a championship
- 1:10:29contending team. Georgia.
- 1:10:33Kirby Smart. Honestly, I could end the
- 1:10:37sentence there, but they have continued to be better
- 1:10:41throughout the season. Gunner Stockton has a better
- 1:10:44understanding of zone defenses, is able to read those better.
- 1:10:48This is a very talented team. I do worry about their defense,
- 1:10:51but they have shown the ability offensively to win them games
- 1:10:56despite their defense putting up a ton of yards.
- 1:10:58Georgia a contender, Texas A and MA contender.
- 1:11:02One of the best teams in the country throughout the season.
- 1:11:04Defensively they smother you. Offensively, they've got so many
- 1:11:07weapons. Indiana, Heisman Trophy
- 1:11:10quarterback, really well coached team.
- 1:11:13D'Angelo Pons in the secondary. They are talented at every
- 1:11:16position. Indiana, without a doubt.
- 1:11:18Ohio State, self-explanatory, another Heisman hopeful,
- 1:11:22Jeremiah Smith, Cornell Tate, a defense led by Arvel Reese and
- 1:11:27Caleb Downs. The most talented team in the
- 1:11:30country. They're most definitely a
- 1:11:32contender now out of those ten teams that I don't believe are
- 1:11:35contenders? Oregon, I think Oregon's too
- 1:11:39banged up at the receiver position.
- 1:11:41They're too inconsistent offensively in in certain
- 1:11:44moments that that dictate a game.
- 1:11:47Ole Miss, they play with fire too often.
- 1:11:49The Lane Kiffin thing has totally railed this team and I
- 1:11:52hate it for him. But even if Kiffin hadn't
- 1:11:54happened, I don't like how this team plays a lot of close games
- 1:11:57and number. And the third team I wouldn't
- 1:12:00consider as a championship contender would be Oklahoma.
- 1:12:03Oklahoma offensively is not consistent enough to win a
- 1:12:07championship. Defensively they are.
- 1:12:09But when I name those three teams right there, I just see
- 1:12:12major consistency issues and flaws.
- 1:12:15So seven teams I can win it, Ohio State, Indiana, Texas A&M,
- 1:12:19Georgia, Texas Tech, Alabama, and Notre Dame.
- 1:12:23Those are my contenders and pretenders in my top 10.
- 1:12:26All right, let's wrap things up with this.
- 1:12:30My final thoughts today, Virginia and North Carolina
- 1:12:35State will play in Brazil in 2026.
- 1:12:39I want to give a quick shout out to Cassio at draft day in
- 1:12:44Brazil. He reached out to me last week
- 1:12:46when I made a post about this match up and wanted me to do a
- 1:12:50video for them. And I told him I would include
- 1:12:52it in the podcast so it'd make it a little bit easier, give my
- 1:12:55listeners an opportunity to hear about it and also his listeners
- 1:12:59because he wants to share this in Brazil.
- 1:13:01So really excited for this. So I kind of want to just
- 1:13:04explain the match up, what's going on, why this is impactful
- 1:13:07and stuff like that. But NC State and Virginia set to
- 1:13:11face off in the first ever Brazil game of college football
- 1:13:15in 2026. This will mark the first ever
- 1:13:18college football game played in Brazil in the first
- 1:13:21international game for both NC State and UVA in program
- 1:13:26history. We have expanded the NFL outside
- 1:13:30of the country before, but we continue to see college football
- 1:13:34start to dip their toes in out of country games.
- 1:13:38The ACC has played a total of five of these overseas, most
- 1:13:41recently Florida State and Georgia Tech and Dublin, Ireland
- 1:13:44last year. And they date all the way back
- 1:13:47to Clemson and Wake Forest playing in Tokyo, Japan in 1982.
- 1:13:52So we've seen some of these games expand outside the United
- 1:13:55States. And every year Dublin, Ireland
- 1:13:59host a game to kick off the season.
- 1:14:02And I know a lot of college football fans want to see
- 1:14:06football stay in the United States, want to see college
- 1:14:08football stay in United States. But I think you have to think
- 1:14:12about the other side of this. This means a lot to Brazilians.
- 1:14:16They are excited as can be for this opportunity.
- 1:14:19I made that post last week and hundreds of Brazilians began
- 1:14:23flooding the comment section. This means a lot to them and
- 1:14:27they're excited for this opportunity.
- 1:14:29And the good thing for them, this is an important game.
- 1:14:33This is going to be a conference game played on Labor Day between
- 1:14:37two teams that are going to have high aspirations for that
- 1:14:40season. Virginia coming off their best
- 1:14:43season they've had under Tony Elliott.
- 1:14:45They're going to have, you know, a quest to make it to the ACC
- 1:14:49Championship or make it back to the ACC Championship if they're
- 1:14:52able to this year for NC State. They're trying to turn things
- 1:14:56around because they've got a quarterback and CJ Bailey, who's
- 1:14:59going to be playing in the NFL here soon, a potential first
- 1:15:02round pick in the NFL draft, going to be making his debut for
- 1:15:07his new season in Brazil. This is going to be a really
- 1:15:12good football game between two teams that have a lot of stake
- 1:15:15and they're going to be some really high-powered players and
- 1:15:18CJ Bailey being an example that Brazilians are going to be
- 1:15:22really excited to see. I think this is a great
- 1:15:25opportunity for both these teams to travel, get to play in a very
- 1:15:29unique environment and it's awesome for Brazilian fans to be
- 1:15:33able to have the watch, be able to do, to have the opportunity
- 1:15:37to watch college football in a meaningful college football game
- 1:15:41that is in their own country. Going to be a really cool match
- 1:15:46up. That's going to be Labor Day
- 1:15:47next year. NC State and Virginia, shout out
- 1:15:50to Casio once again at draft day in Brazil.
- 1:15:54Want to make sure to shout them out.
- 1:15:56All right, that's going to wrap it up for episode 135 of the

- 1:16:35though, so I'm a little bummed out about that, but I appreciate
- 1:16:38you listening along with me. I'm William Patterson signing
