  [SPEAKER_01]: they do they got a line a new Orleans Saints team who is very hurt and playing on the road against the Atlanta Falcons going to be a tough ask properly so I don't have to sit and wait but they grinded one out here 16-14 um they got a lot of help I thought with some questionable

  [SPEAKER_01]: So that was good for them.

  [SPEAKER_01]: You know, you take those, obviously, and the Panthers didn't execute well enough over the course of the game to be able to overcome those things.

  [SPEAKER_01]: But that did help the box out a little bit.

  [SPEAKER_01]: But at the end of the day, they were able to do more.

  [SPEAKER_01]: It was very rocky at a special team's faux-paw, a bigger Mayfield turn over.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Some pretty questionable game management and play calling there at the end of the first half,

  [SPEAKER_01]: And the end of the day, the guy is done, and three times out, they ended up getting it done though, and now they wait, now they wait, watch parties will probably be happening tomorrow, top bowl is going to watch it on.

  [SPEAKER_01]: We'll be paying pretty close attention just to see what ends up happening there, but it's out of their hands.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, by now we, you know you have that first drive there and the bugs have been so successful at least as of late with having that touchdown pass there that Kate on.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Con that end zone right over there and you're like, okay, well, here we go once again, you know, they strike first and you're like, well, can they keep consistency on that and that wasn't the case whatsoever.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Macmillan's catch for the Panthers over here on this side, which, you know, there was a lot of hand fighting and 50, 50 right there, but it goes in your favor that it gets called as offensive passenger fans Macmillan was all over the place for the Panthers today and made some big time grabs and including the fourth was at fourth and eight deep ball shot for Bryce Young the Macmillan is caught right over to compare behind the defense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: how in the world we've seen so many of that to this season, river, but with all of that, all of the different things and the rollercoaster ride of this game and really bad weather, which is a box for some reason, even though they live in Tampa and it's one of the, you know, you get all the rainy parts of it in the summer and they're used to the rain down here.

  [SPEAKER_01]: You know, just trying to see a Brian Ford in the way in here and he said, I've never said this before, but go say it's a bigger mainfield's not quite ready to root for them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If this isn't for Lvontay David, he was down here on the field, saluting all the fans and giving them love.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's not over, you know, he's still feeling strongly says he knows some people on the Saints and I'm sure he does and he's sending some text to them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But what was your thoughts on his interview there because he spent about 15 to 20 minutes with us and really gave us a dive into his career and how much the townway community means to him.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, he started off by thanking the media, which is never a great sign of his going to keep playing football, but he said predictably, you know, I'm not done playing football.

  [SPEAKER_01]: And that'll be a big tell, but you get this kind of sense.

  [SPEAKER_01]: This is it for him and if it is, you know, I asked him what the game of football means to him.

  [SPEAKER_01]: and what it taught him, and he said, you know, staying the course of the ups and downs.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Said, I kind of wanted to leave once he was switching from a four, three to a three, four.

  [SPEAKER_01]: I got convinced to stay here, and I got some of what we're wearing, and going to the ups and downs here in Tampa Bay, you know, you wouldn't have it any other way.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So franchise legend, you would hope he'd have enough to get into the pro football hall of fame.

  [SPEAKER_01]: uh... depend on how they look at his individual accolades that will be a conversation for down the line be it a thing statistically and what we see on the field he's a hall of fame worthy player so uh... great great career in him a very sensed rightfully so alongside direct Brooks uh... they're brought up there on the ring of honor and to be honest with you i think we're going to be up next once he retires so

  [SPEAKER_00]: you know it's funny he gave us a little tidbit that had never came out and he shared with us that he almost you know he wanted out of Tampa before you know the change with with B.A.

  [SPEAKER_00]: and the future looking for with Todd Bowls and it was really his conversation with B.A.

  [SPEAKER_00]: along with Bowls that kept him and said you know what you know he felt like this was going to be a full rebuild and he was like I don't really want to be a part of that and he's already been through a lot of losing seasons for the box.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But he did not know really his future here in Tampa, but after sitting down with B.A.

  [SPEAKER_00]: with Bruce Arians, Todd Bowles, he felt like, you know what?

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's this team went on to win a Super Bowl and brought in Tom Brady, they reloaded and brought in a lot of talent all across the board and made that run there with Brady in one season and 2020.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And now he says, he has no regrets whatsoever in doing so.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And he also has asked, you know, if he got tonight, if you know, sometimes this statistic people, I guess you could say, whatever they're called, the statisticians, I should say, if they're in the wrong statisticians, statisticians, statisticians, if they can find him one more tackle.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He said, ah, he finally found another tackle for me.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see if that ends up going in his favor, but nonetheless, an absolute incredible career from Levantay, David also just a great person, and great human, and always as a pleasure to speak with him from the media side as well.
