- 0:02Speaker 1: Apostle Femi Lazarus is a man raised by God to
- 0:06Speaker 1: demonstrate his wisdom and authority to the last day church.
- 0:10Speaker 1: He is the lead pastor of Sphere of Light Church
- 0:13Speaker 1: and God told him years ago that a time will
- 0:16Speaker 1: come where my wisdom will be needed to navigate tough
- 0:19Speaker 1: times in the body of Christ.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Then I will cause your voice to be heard.
- 0:25Speaker 1: And all who pay attention to my word on your
- 0:29Speaker 1: lips will not lack light and direction. He's a man
- 0:33Speaker 1: sent from God, sent to raise God's end time armies.
- 0:38Speaker 1: With Apostle Fermi Lazarus, every minute counts as you listen attentively.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Your word is yes and amen. We return all praise.
- 0:51Speaker 3: We return all glory. We return all honor to you.
- 0:55Speaker 3: We take charge of this atmosphere that only your counsel
- 1:00Speaker 3: prevail and your will instruct us. Blessed be your holy name.
- 1:06Speaker 3: In Jesus' mighty name, we are praying. Who is excited
- 1:14Speaker 3: to be in church?
- 1:16Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:18Speaker 2: You want to put those hands bigger and better for Jesus?
- 1:21Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Is that the best you can do? Amen. God bless you.
- 1:32Speaker 3: You may please be seated.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Good evening, everyone. So I'm going to start by laying
- 1:45Speaker 3: a very important foundation. And like I said, this series
- 1:50Speaker 3: in itself.
- 1:53Speaker 2: It's therapeutic, but it's offensive. Is that clear?
- 1:58Speaker 3: So I don't really care about the standards of the
- 2:03Speaker 3: society that will offend. My loyalty is to the truth.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Is that clear now? So get ready to be offended
- 2:13Speaker 3: at some point. I just need to lay that foundation.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Amen. All right.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Turn your Bibles quickly. Turn your Bibles quickly to the
- 2:26Speaker 3: book of Psalms. And that's going to be our anchor scripture,
- 2:33Speaker 3: even as we dig into this subject. If you're in
- 2:40Speaker 3: your Bible, turn to the book of Psalms, chapter number 11.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Psalms 11, verse 3. Psalms chapter number 11. verse 3.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Quite a popular scripture says, if the foundations be destroyed,
- 3:02Speaker 3: what can the righteous, what?
- 3:04Speaker 2: Do.
- 3:05Speaker 3: If the foundations be destroyed. Can we read it together
- 3:11Speaker 3: three times?
- 3:11Speaker 2: One, two, three, go. Second time. The third time.
- 3:28Speaker 3: If the foundations are out of place, what can the
- 3:33Speaker 3: righteous do? Now, if you look at what the Bible says,
- 3:37Speaker 3: Psalms chapter number 82.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Psalms 82. I'm going to read from verse.
- 3:45Speaker 3: 1 for the sake of contextual understanding.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Is that okay?
- 3:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:54Speaker 3: God stands in the congregation of the mighty. He judges
- 3:59Speaker 3: among the gods. How long will you judge unjustly and
- 4:05Speaker 3: accept the persons of the wicked? Defend the poor and fatherless.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor
- 4:20Speaker 3: and needy. Read them out of the hands of the wicked.
- 4:25Speaker 3: They know not. Neither will they understand. They walk on
- 4:32Speaker 3: in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are out
- 4:37Speaker 3: of course. So, in a nutshell, what the Bible is
- 4:42Speaker 3: saying is that we have a pattern of injustice. Number one,
- 4:49Speaker 3: because of ignorance. When there is ignorance... the Bible said,
- 4:55Speaker 3: ignorance will offset the balance of foundations. Is that okay now?
- 5:02Speaker 3: Where there is ignorance, it's what? Offset the balance of what?
- 5:06Speaker 2: Foundations.
- 5:09Speaker 3: So the family system is the foundation of the society.
- 5:13Speaker 3: And if the church is a living component or active
- 5:16Speaker 3: component of the society, it means the family is also
- 5:19Speaker 3: the foundation of the church. In fact, from the beginning
- 5:24Speaker 3: there was no church, but there was a family. Is
- 5:29Speaker 3: that simple enough? There was no church. So we all
- 5:35Speaker 3: are gathered here as members of a church, of this church,
- 5:42Speaker 3: from different backgrounds. And the way the family system goes is,
- 5:52Speaker 3: is the way the society will go. Where the family
- 5:55Speaker 3: turns is where the society will turn. In fact, I
- 5:59Speaker 3: think I heard this from Dr. Miles Monroe. And he
- 6:06Speaker 3: talked about a time that they did a survey and
- 6:10Speaker 3: to check the reason why there were so many black
- 6:18Speaker 3: Americans in prisons. males particularly. Some were imprisoned for drugs,
- 6:27Speaker 3: for rape, car theft, and all that. And they saw
- 6:33Speaker 3: that 90% of the people had daddy issues. God will
- 6:47Speaker 3: have to judge me if I fail to tell you
- 6:48Speaker 3: the truth. Are you following what I'm saying here? I
- 6:55Speaker 3: owe my life to this cause.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Let me tell you.
- 7:04Speaker 3: In fact, thank God my wife is a counselor. In
- 7:10Speaker 3: the next 10, 15 years, the richest guys around the world,
- 7:16Speaker 3: apart from tech guys and all those other guys, will
- 7:19Speaker 3: be therapists. Because the world is moving to the point
- 7:29Speaker 3: where we are going to bet many problems with the
- 7:33Speaker 3: way we are going. Whatever it is, you see people
- 7:36Speaker 3: talk about the need for healing from family cases, all
- 7:40Speaker 3: the vices and different things we are all about to outgrow.
- 7:46Speaker 3: We are still dealing with the things that happened some 20,
- 7:49Speaker 3: 30 years ago. We are not yet dealing with the
- 7:54Speaker 3: generation that are the victims of the kind of parents
- 7:57Speaker 3: there are now and the kinds there will be. The generation,
- 8:04Speaker 3: I don't listen to anybody, will soon become parents. And
- 8:09Speaker 3: children will be born from that. So we have to
- 8:13Speaker 3: go back to the Bible. And that's where we are now. So,
- 8:18Speaker 3: teaching this, um, is building a hack of safety for
- 8:26Speaker 3: the generations now and for those to come. Anybody who
- 8:34Speaker 3: is going to do marriage right must choose. You either
- 8:40Speaker 3: do it the society way or you do it the
- 8:43Speaker 3: Bible way. I'm going to address those coming up first
- 8:49Speaker 3: to lay my foundation then I'm going to address those
- 8:54Speaker 3: who are already victims and how to come out.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Is that okay now?
- 8:59Speaker 3: But one of the things I've discovered about family issues
- 9:03Speaker 3: is that you can be a victim and a villain
- 9:05Speaker 3: at the same time.
- 9:07Speaker 2: You can be. And I want us to pay very
- 9:12Speaker 2: keen attention to that.
- 9:15Speaker 5: Um....
- 9:17Speaker 2: Um....
- 9:21Speaker 3: There are many issues on ground and we can't deal
- 9:26Speaker 3: with everything in one sermon. There are complications that we
- 9:33Speaker 3: are betting that we have not seen the problems that
- 9:36Speaker 3: will emerge.
- 9:37Speaker 2: There are problems we have not seen the type before.
- 9:41Speaker 3: They are still brewing. The generation that is pushing That
- 9:50Speaker 3: women and women can marry each other and adopt. And
- 9:55Speaker 3: men and men can marry each other and adopt. Those
- 9:57Speaker 3: children will grow and they will try. to fit in
- 10:02Speaker 3: to a society that is quite alien to that. There
- 10:16Speaker 3: are countries right now that your five-year-old son can decide
- 10:23Speaker 3: that he is not a boy, he is a girl.
- 10:27Speaker 3: If you stop the child from opting for the surgeries
- 10:31Speaker 3: that will change the sex, you will be jailed as
- 10:34Speaker 3: the parent. Until we revive at least the consciousness of
- 10:39Speaker 3: the fear of God, that's.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Where we are going.
- 10:42Speaker 3: And it will begin with being sympathetic with what is wrong.
- 10:48Speaker 3: It's a tricky game and we are playing into the
- 10:51Speaker 3: hands of the devil.
- 10:54Speaker 2: It's a tricky game. It's a very tricky game.
- 10:59Speaker 3: So, a family structure that will be dysfunctional does not
- 11:08Speaker 3: become dysfunctional because two young people are married.
- 11:13Speaker 5: No.
- 11:13Speaker 4: No.
- 11:14Speaker 3: You can be single and you have the potential for
- 11:16Speaker 3: betting a potential dysfunctional home.
- 11:19Speaker 2: It's not until you marry.
- 11:25Speaker 3: It is the quality of people getting into marriages that
- 11:28Speaker 3: determines the quality of the marriage. You see, let me
- 11:36Speaker 3: tell you something. You're already going to be a disaster
- 11:39Speaker 3: in marriage if you don't believe you can be wronged.
- 11:44Speaker 3: If every time you think about who is wrong, it's
- 11:47Speaker 3: the guy, oh, it's the girl, it's him. When you
- 11:49Speaker 3: hear a sermon, you are thinking about your spouse. Tell him.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Tell her. What about you? The word of God is
- 12:03Speaker 2: double-edged sword. A sword is already double-sided.
- 12:09Speaker 3: So double-edged means that it pierces the preacher as it
- 12:12Speaker 3: pierces the pew. then it pierces the both genders. That's
- 12:17Speaker 3: the word. Say, I hear you.
- 12:21Speaker 2: That's the word.
- 12:23Speaker 3: So we are going to trace very important things to discuss.
- 12:36Speaker 3: But I need us to know that we are not
- 12:40Speaker 3: ready for what is coming. Some of us have seen
- 12:46Speaker 3: it ahead. And we approach teachings like this with.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Fear and trembling.
- 13:00Speaker 3: If many people need healing from family structures right now,
- 13:06Speaker 3: from what happened whatever year, the 80s, the 70s, the 60s,
- 13:09Speaker 3: the 90s, the children that are being born in 2020, 2021,
- 13:18Speaker 3: 2022 downwards, I fear that the kind of parents they
- 13:26Speaker 3: are coming to meet will do worse than those who
- 13:29Speaker 3: were their own parents.
- 13:32Speaker 2: You know, you can blame your parents for what you
- 13:35Speaker 2: later do worse.
- 13:38Speaker 3: And you have no right to really judge people until
- 13:41Speaker 3: you are at their level and you did not make
- 13:43Speaker 3: their mistakes.
- 13:46Speaker 2: You have no right.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Because you can hate it, but yet you are not
- 13:50Speaker 3: wise enough to live above it. You can hate it
- 13:55Speaker 3: so bad and become worse than that. And many of
- 13:59Speaker 3: the complaints borders around the fact that maybe they should
- 14:03Speaker 3: have made more sacrifices for the children. But this is
- 14:08Speaker 3: the same generation that believes that if marriage stresses you small,
- 14:11Speaker 3: get out of it.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Are there cases that require separation? Oh yes. Get the balance.
- 14:23Speaker 2: But marriage is still for better for worse. The last
- 14:25Speaker 2: I remember. Talk to me now. I said it is
- 14:28Speaker 2: still for better for worse.
- 14:31Speaker 3: In the sense that you can be married and sometimes
- 14:33Speaker 3: the home can be broke and it is still your
- 14:34Speaker 3: husband and your wife.
- 14:35Speaker 2: True or not true? It is not for better for stay,
- 14:39Speaker 2: for worse for go. It is not. It is not.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Let me show you a scripture.
- 14:47Speaker 3: 2 Timothy chapter number 3. We start the reading from
- 14:58Speaker 3: verse 15. 2 Timothy 3.
- 15:05Speaker 2: From where?
- 15:07Speaker 3: Verse 15. Now listen attentively to what the Bible says.
- 15:15Speaker 3: He said, and that from a child you have known
- 15:19Speaker 3: the holy scriptures which are able to make you wise
- 15:23Speaker 3: to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scriptures,
- 15:30Speaker 3: scripture is given by the inspiration of God and is
- 15:34Speaker 3: profitable for doctrine. The word doctrine there means an established
- 15:39Speaker 3: body of teaching.
- 15:42Speaker 2: For reproof. for correction, for instruction in righteousness. All right?
- 15:51Speaker 3: Now, look at what the Amplified said in verse 16.
- 15:53Speaker 3: It says, Every scripture is God-bretted, given by His inspiration,
- 15:58Speaker 3: and profitable for instruction, for reproof.
- 16:01Speaker 2: And for conviction of sin.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Meaning that when you read the Bible and listen to
- 16:08Speaker 3: the Word, the Word should actually convict you in the
- 16:11Speaker 3: areas that you are wrong. The word should convict us
- 16:16Speaker 3: in the areas that we have wrong mindset.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Let's take for instance now, subject like forgiveness. Alright. What
- 16:28Speaker 2: determines forgiveness?
- 16:29Speaker 3: Is it the level of a person's sin towards you
- 16:32Speaker 3: or because the Bible says to forgive? Are you seeing
- 16:37Speaker 3: that now? You say, well, although the Bible says to forgive,
- 16:40Speaker 3: but I have chosen as a Christian never to forgive
- 16:43Speaker 3: this person. Well, you have not spoken as one. Because
- 16:48Speaker 3: two Christians submit under the authority of the word. Will
- 16:51Speaker 3: it be painful?
- 16:52Speaker 5: Yes.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Is it possible to cry? Yes.
- 16:57Speaker 3: And I found out that bulk of the instructions the
- 16:59Speaker 3: Bible gives to us is for our benefit.
- 17:01Speaker 6: Yes.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I can show you how the.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Root of bitterness can make me fall sick. And create
- 17:11Speaker 3: a venue for the devil to study. And that's why
- 17:16Speaker 3: we are starting from here. Are you following what I'm
- 17:21Speaker 3: teaching here now? Now, look at this. We must understand...
- 17:35Speaker 3: That it is the principle of scriptures that is designed
- 17:40Speaker 3: to run our lives. That is also designed to form
- 17:44Speaker 3: perspectives for us. So a true believer in Christ is
- 17:50Speaker 3: not to form any perspective outside the injunctions of scriptures.
- 18:00Speaker 3: We don't try to make the scripture mean what we
- 18:04Speaker 3: want to say. You don't try to engineer the scriptures
- 18:10Speaker 3: to speak your thoughts. You adjust yourself to the truth
- 18:14Speaker 3: of the scripture. And that's why doctrines are established contextually.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Alright?
- 18:22Speaker 3: In biblical humanetics, you don't just bring a framework of
- 18:25Speaker 3: topic verse. No, you must understand what the pretext is
- 18:30Speaker 3: and the post text. Because this is what forms the
- 18:35Speaker 3: framework and framework. It is becoming much more injurious. That's
- 18:40Speaker 3: why you have to be taught. Everybody has an opinion.
- 18:43Speaker 3: The media has an opinion. Blogs have an opinion. Wounded
- 18:46Speaker 3: people have opinions. Bruised people have opinions. Those whose voice
- 18:50Speaker 3: should not be heard also have opinions. But where the
- 18:55Speaker 3: Bible is, no opinion is sufficient. The opinion of the
- 18:59Speaker 3: world is supremely. So what we do is that we
- 19:02Speaker 3: bring whatever it is that our thought process is, and
- 19:04Speaker 3: we lay it down at the altar. What has the
- 19:07Speaker 3: Bible commanded? This is the basic foundation of Christianity, to
- 19:12Speaker 3: live by the word.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Is that okay now?
- 19:16Speaker 3: We don't live by the story of other women. Do
- 19:20Speaker 3: you know what women have gone through?
- 19:21Speaker 2: No, no, no. That doesn't form the basis for our
- 19:23Speaker 2: own stories. It is what the word says.
- 19:26Speaker 3: We don't live by the story of other men. Have
- 19:28Speaker 3: you seen where women poison their wives? We come to
- 19:31Speaker 3: submit to what the word says. The same doctrine you
- 19:37Speaker 3: use to excuse the wrong things in your life, the
- 19:39Speaker 3: devil likes it so. There is a bigger game plan
- 19:42Speaker 3: coming that you are not a part of. That same
- 19:45Speaker 3: body of doctrine will excuse that thing. While Nigeria as
- 19:53Speaker 3: a country is celebrating revival, we bless God for the
- 19:56Speaker 3: revival movement. But are you aware of the sexual orientations
- 20:03Speaker 3: that is closing in quickly? Subtle ways through movies. That now,
- 20:12Speaker 3: if care is not taken, you can see a Nigerian
- 20:15Speaker 3: movie and somebody is bare butt. What was once sacrilegious?
- 20:20Speaker 3: There is an advancement of thought in bits and pieces.
- 20:25Speaker 3: And the devil knows how to close it in because
- 20:27Speaker 3: many are wounded. And when you are wounded, you are
- 20:30Speaker 3: not really reasonable. What you think about is the pain.
- 20:34Speaker 3: That's why they use pain to get people to confess.
- 20:37Speaker 3: Because when there is pain, you are not thinking about
- 20:40Speaker 3: Let's just do what is right. Anything to get me
- 20:42Speaker 3: out of the pain. That is not the way we
- 20:44Speaker 3: are designed to live. I'm about to teach you what
- 20:51Speaker 3: those you feel have better dysfunctionality in your homes. What
- 20:55Speaker 3: you wish they knew. And let's hope your children will
- 20:58Speaker 3: be glad you heard it. We have to hope so.
- 21:04Speaker 3: We have to hope so. I've said a few things
- 21:07Speaker 3: I want to reaffirm. Many people can stand here and say,
- 21:11Speaker 3: I am where I am because of the sacrifice of
- 21:13Speaker 3: my mother. Will the mothers of tomorrow also have sacrifices?
- 21:18Speaker 3: Will the fathers of tomorrow also have sacrifices?
- 21:22Speaker 2: We have not been.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Leadership means that you live for a cause.
- 21:26Speaker 2: And it can be painful. If it is painful and
- 21:33Speaker 2: I'm out, that is not leadership. Leadership. Are you following
- 21:40Speaker 2: what I'm saying here? We live for a what? A cause.
- 21:45Speaker 3: Get what I'm saying in context. There are abuses that
- 21:48Speaker 3: people should be pulled out of. But we must not
- 21:51Speaker 3: form a mentality as touching homes that we treat it
- 21:55Speaker 3: like a piece of cake. The oath of marriage is deep.
- 22:05Speaker 3: So that one day doesn't come, I just look at
- 22:07Speaker 3: my wife. and say, I didn't know you would be
- 22:09Speaker 3: this yellow.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I would have not married you.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Since divorce is not really a sin like that, you
- 22:17Speaker 3: are quite yellow for me.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Don't worry.
- 22:20Speaker 3: We have three children. We have two children. We are
- 22:22Speaker 3: going to be fine. You just be good. I will
- 22:24Speaker 3: give you some money. But you are actually too yellow
- 22:27Speaker 3: for me. Just enjoy. I will be sending you this
- 22:30Speaker 3: and this per month. If we ever watch till marriages
- 22:35Speaker 3: become like that, we are in trouble. Our words must
- 22:43Speaker 3: count for something. That if I say that I love you,
- 22:47Speaker 3: I stand by it. Does that mean I will not
- 22:52Speaker 3: see somebody else who is finer? Beauty lies in the
- 22:55Speaker 3: eyes of the beholder. Does that mean I will not
- 22:59Speaker 3: see somebody else that days my wife gets me angry?
- 23:02Speaker 3: Who is not getting me angry?
- 23:03Speaker 2: There will be.
- 23:05Speaker 3: In fact, the moment you are pained by your wife
- 23:08Speaker 3: or your husband... That is the moment there's somebody around
- 23:11Speaker 3: who is just bringing tea for you. There will be
- 23:14Speaker 3: people that in the days of dispute with your spouse
- 23:18Speaker 3: that look more appealing than your spouse. They are not
- 23:21Speaker 3: more appealing. It's your emotion that is clouded. You sought
- 23:24Speaker 3: them before you chose this person. Maintain your choice. Maintain
- 23:33Speaker 3: that choice. We must understand what love means.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Love is commitment. It's not just a statement. It's a statement.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Love is not a feeling. Love is devotion. Love is patient.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Love is kind.
- 23:49Speaker 3: That if we say, we bring people and we say
- 23:51Speaker 3: for better, for worse, we understand that they are ready
- 23:54Speaker 3: to pay the price and the sacrifice required to maintain
- 23:58Speaker 3: that word. We don't judge ourselves by what is going
- 24:01Speaker 3: on by one celebrity or the other.
- 24:03Speaker 4: No.
- 24:05Speaker 2: It is by what happens in the Bible, not even
- 24:07Speaker 2: with pastors.
- 24:14Speaker 3: That the example of what marriage is supposed to mirror
- 24:18Speaker 3: is the union of the church and Christ.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Don't let me get into grace. But if you.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Understand that if at every sin Christ divorces you, then
- 24:31Speaker 3: it will be wrong also to condemn divorce.
- 24:34Speaker 2: You must understand that. He washed the bride with the
- 24:39Speaker 2: washing of the blood and water.
- 24:42Speaker 3: Is the groom that takes care of his bride. And
- 24:44Speaker 3: grooms the bride. We must reaffirm our convictions. On the
- 24:49Speaker 3: principles of scripture. This is what I read. I don't
- 24:53Speaker 3: sit down on Facebook. Or Instagram. I read the Bible.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Two good Christians. Will make two better spouses. That is
- 25:03Speaker 3: our foundation.
- 25:04Speaker 6: The word.
- 25:06Speaker 2: The word.
- 25:08Speaker 3: The word of God. That's our foundation. The word of God.
- 25:13Speaker 3: That's our foundation. In the days our mothers were foolish,
- 25:16Speaker 3: marriage is last better. The word dragged me for a
- 25:25Speaker 3: billion years for this truth.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Here I am.
- 25:28Speaker 3: I told you before we started that we are entering
- 25:31Speaker 3: into the thick darkness and stay there and show you
- 25:33Speaker 3: it is nothing.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Oh yes, I mean it. We will stay in the
- 25:37Speaker 2: midst of it. Stand the ground. Stand the ground. And
- 25:43Speaker 2: many more can begin to say, oh, we can stand
- 25:45Speaker 2: in the midst of it. Oh, let's rise and stand.
- 25:48Speaker 3: The voice of scriptures cannot be subjugated. The word will
- 25:53Speaker 3: do marriage the way the Bible says to do marriage.
- 25:57Speaker 3: When two people are not married and they are living
- 25:59Speaker 3: couples life, it may not show yet, but the effect
- 26:02Speaker 3: will show later. When you violate scriptures, you will reap
- 26:06Speaker 3: the harvest. You may not necessarily go to hell, but
- 26:10Speaker 3: your life can become one. People may not tell you
- 26:15Speaker 3: the side effect of certain practices. But that doesn't mean
- 26:18Speaker 3: they don't go through.
- 26:21Speaker 2: It.
- 26:22Speaker 3: We do marriage the way the Bible says to do it.
- 26:24Speaker 3: We do relationship the way the Bible says to what?
- 26:27Speaker 2: To do it. So that they don't come.
- 26:31Speaker 3: They say, Apostle, if you don't join two males together
- 26:34Speaker 3: in this church, we are going to close down this.
- 26:36Speaker 3: You better come and close it. If you are the
- 26:38Speaker 3: one who opened it. You better come and close it.
- 26:43Speaker 3: We say we are going to sentence pastors to jail
- 26:46Speaker 3: who refuse to join.
- 26:47Speaker 2: This is my hand.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Some of us were raised in the north. We were
- 26:51Speaker 3: taught to learn to die. That's the foundation we have.
- 26:56Speaker 3: We may wear a suit on top, but we still
- 26:58Speaker 3: have that rugged faith.
- 27:00Speaker 2: So we must defend the cause.
- 27:03Speaker 3: The generation on ground are about to do worse than
- 27:06Speaker 3: those they hate. It's time to bring back the word.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Re-engineer our thinking, our thoughts. There is something the Bible
- 27:13Speaker 3: says about how to love your wife. There is something
- 27:15Speaker 3: the Bible says about how to honor your husband. We
- 27:18Speaker 3: go back to it. Are you following what I'm saying here?
- 27:21Speaker 2: Say it again.
- 27:22Speaker 3: We go back to the word. Say it again loud
- 27:25Speaker 3: and clear. We go back to the word. So the
- 27:31Speaker 3: word of God is the governing principle. That's the governing
- 27:36Speaker 3: principle that has been ordained to run our lives. So
- 27:41Speaker 3: the Bible says if the foundation is destroyed, what can
- 27:46Speaker 3: the righteous do?
- 27:47Speaker 2: That's the homes. That's the family system.
- 27:54Speaker 3: If I run a home in a way that I
- 27:57Speaker 3: always have my way, then the home will be bad.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Nobody likes to be wrong, but I can be wrong.
- 28:06Speaker 2: That's the truth. Nobody likes to hear that you are rude.
- 28:09Speaker 2: But if I'm rude, I'm rude. Nobody likes to hear
- 28:16Speaker 2: their wife say that you don't give me attention. But
- 28:21Speaker 2: if your wife says you don't give her attention, according
- 28:23Speaker 2: to her, you don't give her attention. Women don't count
- 28:26Speaker 2: attention as being present. Women's attention is be present, do nothing,
- 28:33Speaker 2: eyes on me, ears open.
- 28:36Speaker 3: And that's quite difficult for a man. Because sometimes what
- 28:41Speaker 3: the woman is saying is heavy. And the phone is
- 28:44Speaker 3: a way for the man to divide his emotions so
- 28:47Speaker 3: that he will not break down. Am I speaking your truth?
- 28:52Speaker 3: So I want your undivided attention. Even if it's for
- 28:56Speaker 3: 10 minutes, just give me the attention. And it's quite
- 29:00Speaker 3: tough for a man. You mean the business plan, the client,
- 29:06Speaker 3: everything I'm thinking, I just stop and listen to just you? Well,
- 29:10Speaker 3: if that is what brings joy and peace, all right,
- 29:13Speaker 3: let's have it. Then the woman starts with, So, last week. Okay,
- 29:34Speaker 3: you seem to know what that means. When you hear,
- 29:37Speaker 3: so last week. It means the conversation has gone through.
- 29:40Speaker 3: several thoughts and somebody has planned you this is why
- 29:45Speaker 3: I like to press my phone in the midst of
- 29:47Speaker 3: this kind of conversation so I don't really listen but
- 29:50Speaker 3: if that is what brings peace we give it because
- 29:54Speaker 3: love is sacrifice love is sacrifice If your husband says,
- 30:02Speaker 3: you don't honor me, the question is, how do I
- 30:06Speaker 3: honor you? What is honor to you? Because what honor
- 30:11Speaker 3: may be to me is not what honor may be
- 30:14Speaker 3: to you. Your wife can say, I don't like the
- 30:16Speaker 3: way you embarrass me in public.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Say, me. Embarrass you.
- 30:22Speaker 4: How?
- 30:24Speaker 3: Say, the last time we were talking in front of
- 30:26Speaker 3: your friend, that statement you said to me, you should
- 30:29Speaker 3: not have said that where your friend is. Don't say, ah, ah,
- 30:33Speaker 3: see this woman now. See, see, just one thing I
- 30:36Speaker 3: told you. No, she's saying she's hot. Like my wife
- 30:39Speaker 3: would say, validate the feelings first. So the day my
- 30:44Speaker 3: wife first told me, validate the feelings. So when she
- 30:47Speaker 3: told me, I said, okay, I validate your feelings. So
- 30:55Speaker 3: she said, you know, I don't like this, I don't like,
- 30:57Speaker 3: I said, I validate your feelings.
- 30:58Speaker 5: Yes.
- 31:00Speaker 3: She said, no, no, that's not what I mean. I said, no, okay,
- 31:02Speaker 3: if that's not what you mean, I validate that feeling too.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Then finally she said, you know what, no problem. I
- 31:10Speaker 3: actually knew what I was doing. She thought I didn't
- 31:13Speaker 3: know how to validate feelings. She said, so this, this, this, no, no,
- 31:17Speaker 3: I said, I validate your feelings. If this validating feelings
- 31:20Speaker 3: is what will give us joy, I validate your feelings.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Don't be like me. Amen. So, the people who are
- 31:42Speaker 2: married or about to get married, first, accept I can
- 31:47Speaker 2: be wrong. Even as your pastor, I can be wrong.
- 31:51Speaker 2: I can be.
- 31:53Speaker 3: I think it was the one that posted a status
- 31:56Speaker 3: that what they said that, um, The eagle used to
- 32:00Speaker 3: separate itself once in a year, even with the feathers.
- 32:03Speaker 3: I said, it's not true. The eagle fly the highest altitude,
- 32:07Speaker 3: it's not true. Isha listed all those. I said, hey,
- 32:10Speaker 3: let's go and fact check because I don't use this
- 32:13Speaker 3: thing pre-style. I said, let's go and fact check so
- 32:22Speaker 3: I know where my trouble will start from. Because I
- 32:26Speaker 3: know I can be Now, put your right hand on
- 32:29Speaker 3: your chest. Say, I can be wrong. It is possible
- 32:32Speaker 3: I am wrong. And when I am wrong, I accept
- 32:37Speaker 3: that I am wrong. Okay, let's say this one. I
- 32:41Speaker 3: can apologize. So, let me ask a question. Between male
- 32:45Speaker 3: and female, who doesn't like apologizing? This argument will continue
- 32:55Speaker 3: till Jesus comes. It is like, which came first, the
- 32:59Speaker 3: egg or the chicken? If you believe, now hear what
- 33:04Speaker 3: I'm saying, that males don't like to apologize, prove it
- 33:08Speaker 3: by apologizing. If you believe that females don't like to apologize,
- 33:11Speaker 3: prove it by.
- 33:12Speaker 2: How.
- 33:14Speaker 3: Can you not apologize and believe that it's opposite sex
- 33:17Speaker 3: who does apologize? You are being the victim and the villain.
- 33:26Speaker 3: I can be wrong. Now, I want to say this,
- 33:31Speaker 3: and this is a very important one. Knowing fully well
- 33:36Speaker 3: that the family is the foundation of the society and
- 33:39Speaker 3: even the foundation of the church, get what I'm saying
- 33:42Speaker 3: in context. I'm talking about church as a gathering, not
- 33:46Speaker 3: church as the redeemed people. The revelation of Christ as
- 33:51Speaker 3: the son of God is the foundation upon which the
- 33:54Speaker 3: church is built.
- 33:55Speaker 2: But when we gather, we are coming from homes. Is
- 33:58Speaker 2: that clear in terms of doctrine? Very important. You see that.
- 34:05Speaker 3: So when you see people fighting on the streets, it's
- 34:10Speaker 3: because of the orientations they have. You were telling me
- 34:14Speaker 3: about two males that parked on the street here in Abuja.
- 34:19Speaker 2: To beat each other. It's the orientation. The other one said, me,
- 34:22Speaker 2: I'll use hand with you. No, no, no, no. God forbid.
- 34:25Speaker 2: I'll bring kuboko. Brings that out. And flog the fellow man.
- 34:29Speaker 2: It's the orientation. There are men who believe you, my wife,
- 34:34Speaker 2: argue with you.
- 34:35Speaker 3: God forbid. That day will never come. I will beat
- 34:38Speaker 3: you with belt. There are women who believe me. I
- 34:43Speaker 3: can't fight with a man. You do anything like this.
- 34:46Speaker 3: I cook spoiled food for you. It's the orientation. You
- 34:50Speaker 3: cannot repeat what you have not seen as possible. Anything
- 34:55Speaker 3: you repeat, somebody has mirrored it. Let me show you
- 35:01Speaker 3: the danger of that. Let me show you the danger
- 35:04Speaker 3: of what I just said now.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Alright. Pass it to me, please come. Okay, Mr. Shafia,
- 35:16Speaker 2: please come.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Alright, please stand here. So, if Nakale, please come. Nakale
- 35:25Speaker 3: is their first son. And Nakale sees daddy slapping mommy.
- 35:34Speaker 3: The first thing that happens to him is that this
- 35:36Speaker 3: is wrong. I don't like this. How dare you slap
- 35:41Speaker 3: my mother? I don't like this. I hate the day
- 35:46Speaker 3: I saw him do that. As much as you ate
- 35:49Speaker 3: the day you saw him do that, something has been
- 35:52Speaker 3: communicated to this guy that there is a point it
- 35:55Speaker 3: can get to that a man will slap the wife.
- 35:59Speaker 3: When we are dealing with matter of orientation, you check
- 36:02Speaker 3: what has been communicated to you that you are not
- 36:05Speaker 3: doing yet because you have not gotten to the end
- 36:08Speaker 3: of the wall. There are orientations you have, but nothing
- 36:13Speaker 3: has triggered it yet. It is possible that you are
- 36:19Speaker 3: a kind of woman that can look at your husband and.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Say he's a bastard because you heard it.
- 36:25Speaker 3: But nothing has triggered it yet because shawarma is still
- 36:27Speaker 3: sweet and ice cream is still cold. And you can
- 36:31Speaker 3: be a kind of man that your wife will do
- 36:34Speaker 3: something and watch her sleep at night and remove the duvet.
- 36:38Speaker 3: And say, I'm the one you were talking to in
- 36:46Speaker 3: the afternoon. You Somebody can carry that orientation and yet
- 36:56Speaker 3: the person is good looking.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Now, please sit down. Thank you so much. So the
- 37:02Speaker 2: issue with what.
- 37:04Speaker 3: We see is the challenge of the possibilities it communicates.
- 37:13Speaker 3: So sometimes when we need to detoxify our lives, our
- 37:17Speaker 3: mind from those things, we're actually saying, I have seen
- 37:20Speaker 3: things I ought not to see. Although I ate it,
- 37:25Speaker 3: the fact that I've seen it has shown me that
- 37:27Speaker 3: it is possible. I need the word of God to
- 37:30Speaker 3: remove the tendencies from my subconscious. And I will have
- 37:38Speaker 3: to eat that word till there is no muscle in
- 37:42Speaker 3: my hand that can rise up to slap a woman,
- 37:45Speaker 3: although I've seen it. I will have to eat that
- 37:51Speaker 3: word till there's no iota of strength in me that
- 37:55Speaker 3: can call my wife a fool, although I have seen it.
- 37:59Speaker 3: I will have to eat that word till there's no
- 38:02Speaker 3: iota of strength in me as a woman that can
- 38:04Speaker 3: look at my husband and say, you useless man, although
- 38:07Speaker 3: I have seen it. We eat the word till the
- 38:11Speaker 3: word neutralizes wrong establishments. Let me show you what the
- 38:15Speaker 3: Bible says about that. 2 Corinthians chapter number 10. 2
- 38:21Speaker 3: Corinthians chapter number 10, we start the reading from verse 4.
- 38:27Speaker 3: 2 Corinthians chapter number 10, we start it. So, for
- 38:32Speaker 3: the weapon of our warfare, not canal, but mighty true God,
- 38:35Speaker 3: for the pulling down of what?
- 38:36Speaker 2: Strongholds. Strongholds are body of thought.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Body of thought, reasoning, kinds of reasoning that has been
- 38:45Speaker 3: communicated to us. I'm trying to see if I can
- 38:54Speaker 3: show you another rendition, if they can project TPT. So
- 39:00Speaker 3: there are thoughts that people have that is now a stronghold.
- 39:06Speaker 3: Do you know you may honestly not know how to
- 39:08Speaker 3: treat a woman and is a stronghold? You may honestly
- 39:12Speaker 3: not know how to treat a man and is a stronghold.
- 39:17Speaker 3: You may honestly not know how to be joyful and
- 39:22Speaker 3: is a stronghold. You may have thoughts about how to
- 39:31Speaker 3: silence a woman when she's growing wings, in quotes now,
- 39:36Speaker 3: and those thoughts have become strongholds. You may also have
- 39:40Speaker 3: thoughts on how to put your husband under. Because the
- 39:45Speaker 3: kind of women now, we are the boss ladies, and
- 39:48Speaker 3: that thought is a stronghold. You may dance on your
- 39:51Speaker 3: wedding day till the strongholds begin to show up. When
- 39:56Speaker 3: you look at people, they are not their makeup.
- 39:59Speaker 2: No. When you look at people, they are not the
- 40:01Speaker 2: suits they wear.
- 40:02Speaker 1: No.
- 40:03Speaker 2: They are not the caftans they wear. No.
- 40:06Speaker 3: They are not the colorful lipsticks or the well-trimmed hair
- 40:10Speaker 3: and beards.
- 40:10Speaker 2: No.
- 40:11Speaker 3: People are their orientation. It is the orientation people have
- 40:20Speaker 3: that makes them. That is what determines the way they
- 40:24Speaker 3: respond to life, the way they perceive life, the way
- 40:27Speaker 3: they perceive issues. When you are in a relationship with
- 40:30Speaker 3: a person, be patient enough to know their orientation. And
- 40:34Speaker 3: I'm saying, when you start touching, you won't know it.
- 40:41Speaker 3: A person can be sweet, but yet coerced.
- 40:45Speaker 2: And sharp and bad.
- 40:47Speaker 3: And you have to know it. You have to be smart.
- 40:50Speaker 3: You have to be intelligent. You have to embrace the
- 40:56Speaker 3: situation that shows you how this person can react. You
- 41:00Speaker 3: have to listen when they talk. Don't just be, oh
- 41:03Speaker 3: my God.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Any small thing. That's deep. That's deep. What's deep?
- 41:19Speaker 3: Nowadays, before you marry a person, check their social media.
- 41:25Speaker 3: The people they are dragging there, it's a matter of time.
- 41:28Speaker 3: They will drag you and drag your dad.
- 41:30Speaker 2: I tell you. No, check. No, no, no. He just
- 41:37Speaker 2: gives them the peace of his mind when he's angry.
- 41:41Speaker 3: The peace of his mind. I like them young, free
- 41:45Speaker 3: and wild. I like people who are outspoken.
- 41:51Speaker 2: Be outspoken. But don't be rude. I'm a Christian. I
- 41:57Speaker 2: don't take nonsense. I curse anybody, Papa. We give them
- 42:07Speaker 2: hot hot. Oh God. No, you have to check. How
- 42:16Speaker 2: do you think? How do you talk? What can you
- 42:19Speaker 2: say to me when you are not happy with me?
- 42:22Speaker 3: What can you do to me? Can you slap me?
- 42:26Speaker 3: And you don't know the answer by asking, can you
- 42:29Speaker 3: slap me?
- 42:29Speaker 2: What will he say? I can never slap you.
- 42:33Speaker 3: Me, slap you. I'm here to defend you. But does
- 42:36Speaker 3: he slap his sisters? Does he slap those who offend him?
- 42:40Speaker 3: It's just a matter of time before you are in
- 42:41Speaker 3: their shoes. The elders have a saying that the whip
- 42:45Speaker 3: they use to flog the first wife is in the
- 42:47Speaker 3: roof for the second wife Let me get him now.
- 42:57Speaker 3: I finally won him. I won him over. But the ex,
- 43:02Speaker 3: many bruises on her face. He will beat her blue
- 43:05Speaker 3: and black. Say he loved me more than he loved her.
- 43:07Speaker 3: He never really loved the girl. He really loved the girl.
- 43:11Speaker 2: But he loves me. I'm the favorite one. Wow. Integrity
- 43:24Speaker 2: is not selective character. Listen to what I'm saying.
- 43:29Speaker 3: The word integrity is taken from a mathematical root from
- 43:32Speaker 3: the word integer.
- 43:34Speaker 2: It is the quality of being a constant. Integer. Seen
- 43:40Speaker 2: or not seen. Integer. Angry or not angry. This is
- 43:43Speaker 2: your frame stand.
- 43:45Speaker 3: I bet you the sweet angel you want to marry
- 43:48Speaker 3: will provoke you more than anybody.
- 43:49Speaker 2: In the world. The defensive guy. The one I just
- 43:55Speaker 2: love the way he trims his beards. My God. My God.
- 44:03Speaker 3: There is a way he will talk to you and
- 44:05Speaker 3: you are not seeing that beard. What you are seeing
- 44:06Speaker 3: is a beast. That beard will be irritating you.
- 44:12Speaker 2: You are provoked. What can you do when you are hungry?
- 44:17Speaker 3: How far can you go? Have you dealt with the
- 44:20Speaker 3: anger issues? Have you dealt with the tendencies? You break plates.
- 44:30Speaker 3: You can smash the TV.
- 44:30Speaker 2: You can smash the TV. You don't know when you
- 44:35Speaker 2: get angry and start using F words. You use it
- 44:38Speaker 2: at will. You don't have boundary.
- 44:42Speaker 3: Once that thing is there, you are shaking. You are
- 44:46Speaker 3: looking for something. Although you have not broken anything on
- 44:49Speaker 3: his head yet, but you are shaking. When anybody look
- 44:53Speaker 3: at you, it's like something is manifesting that wants to
- 44:55Speaker 3: come out. You say, I'm just holding it. What about
- 44:58Speaker 3: the day you will not be able to hold it?
- 45:00Speaker 3: Why don't you deal with the beast before he tears you?
- 45:14Speaker 3: And I've asked you to ask, if anybody should marry
- 45:17Speaker 3: you now, is the person judged or favored?
- 45:27Speaker 2: Go to school campuses. The cleaners that clean the toilet,
- 45:35Speaker 2: every morning there are always raining courses.
- 45:37Speaker 3: The child that went to use this toilet, it shall
- 45:40Speaker 3: not be well received. I don't know if you came
- 45:42Speaker 3: from such school. Some of you went to, oh my.
- 45:48Speaker 3: Go to boys hostel, the cleaner is, all of you here,
- 45:53Speaker 3: it shall not be. I thought it was just boys hostel.
- 45:57Speaker 3: We went for evangelism in girls hostel.
- 46:00Speaker 2: All of you girls here, you will not see your husband.
- 46:07Speaker 2: The same people that will use the toilet and not
- 46:09Speaker 2: flush when they dress finish. When they dress finish. When
- 46:20Speaker 2: the boys put the perfume. You don't even rub and shine.
- 46:31Speaker 3: You are your orientation. You are your orientation. Say, you know,
- 46:38Speaker 3: I'm a clean guy. It's just this boxers thing.
- 46:40Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 46:45Speaker 3: I just can't help it. You say, my God, I
- 46:50Speaker 3: can't believe what I'm seeing in my husband. You won't believe,
- 46:52Speaker 3: even at our wedding night, I went to pick his
- 46:54Speaker 3: shoe and socks from the toilet.
- 46:55Speaker 2: My God, is this what I'm... You have started. You
- 47:06Speaker 2: are your orientation. Who am I?
- 47:12Speaker 3: If I should marry me, you know, you don't even
- 47:14Speaker 3: have to marry somebody else to have a bad home.
- 47:17Speaker 3: If I marry me, will I have a good home? No,
- 47:20Speaker 3: you ask the question, if I marry me, will I
- 47:24Speaker 3: have a good home? Now, a lady was getting married.
- 47:31Speaker 3: And they told the father of the girl that it's
- 47:35Speaker 3: time to come and pray for the bride.
- 47:41Speaker 2: He said, I shall read more to you. I shall
- 47:46Speaker 2: do a lot of work.
- 47:48Speaker 3: Let me tell you what he said. He said, I
- 47:53Speaker 3: saw that I sat down. I didn't speak to his mother.
- 47:55Speaker 3: I know that the marriage I've come to do today
- 47:57Speaker 3: is not going anywhere. He said, see, this is the
- 48:01Speaker 3: key of our room. I know, like I know my name,
- 48:04Speaker 3: she's coming back. Just so that it doesn't look like
- 48:08Speaker 3: I didn't tell you.
- 48:09Speaker 2: This is me, her father. But since you have asked
- 48:11Speaker 2: me to pray, I bless this union. I bless you.
- 48:14Speaker 2: Go in peace.
- 48:16Speaker 3: Let me tell you what the father did. The father
- 48:18Speaker 3: knew his daughter. Every time that thing enters her and
- 48:24Speaker 3: she wants to react, she remembers.
- 48:26Speaker 2: They are waiting for me at home. They will laugh.
- 48:29Speaker 2: She calms down.
- 48:30Speaker 3: Sometimes you need people who know that your home may
- 48:33Speaker 3: not work for your head to be correct. As you
- 48:38Speaker 3: are getting married, you already predicted three years.
- 48:41Speaker 2: You want to react.
- 48:43Speaker 3: They are waiting for me to come back with Shembo.
- 48:46Speaker 3: In the name of Jesus Christ, you will not see shame.
- 48:52Speaker 3: Foundation is everything. We began thinking about the root of bitterness,
- 48:58Speaker 3: saw the biblical description of the man Absalom. The Bible
- 49:02Speaker 3: said from head to toe, he was clean. There was
- 49:07Speaker 3: none like him in the whole Jerusalem. But yet he
- 49:11Speaker 3: was a man that could keep matters for two years
- 49:14Speaker 3: and kill somebody.
- 49:17Speaker 2: Who am I marrying? Don't accept societal pressure as a
- 49:26Speaker 2: yardstick not to vet the fellow you want to do
- 49:28Speaker 2: the rest of your life with. It doesn't matter how
- 49:32Speaker 2: you feel singleness is hurting. Ah, another Saturday now, I'll
- 49:36Speaker 2: never get married. See, there are many Saturdays though. And
- 49:39Speaker 2: your own will come.
- 49:41Speaker 3: But may it not be that it is one of
- 49:43Speaker 3: those Saturdays you have chosen to marry a fool. There
- 49:47Speaker 3: are many Saturdays. And it's not just Saturdays. People are
- 49:50Speaker 3: getting married on Mondays, on Tuesdays, on Wednesdays. If we
- 49:54Speaker 3: don't want to invite people, put it on Monday morning. Say, Apostle,
- 50:02Speaker 3: will you join us?
- 50:03Speaker 2: Right away. Monday morning.
- 50:07Speaker 6: Yes.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Yes.
- 50:10Speaker 3: But you see, the pressure on people is so strong
- 50:18Speaker 3: that you can be successful and feel you are a
- 50:20Speaker 3: failure because you have not been validated by marriage.
- 50:26Speaker 2: Who am I marrying? Who am I?
- 50:34Speaker 3: What are my beliefs about marriage? What Who is a man?
- 50:42Speaker 3: And how do I think a man is to be treated?
- 50:45Speaker 3: How do I think a woman is to be treated?
- 50:50Speaker 3: How do I think a woman is to be loved?
- 50:54Speaker 3: How do I think a man is to be honored?
- 50:57Speaker 3: What's my perspective about dealing with in-laws? How about dealing
- 51:01Speaker 3: with people that want to live with us? What's my
- 51:04Speaker 3: perspective about conflict resolutions? What's my perspective about anger and recovery?
- 51:14Speaker 3: What's my perspective about the subject of forgiveness and restoration
- 51:18Speaker 3: of affection? What's my perspective about the word of God
- 51:23Speaker 3: as the foundation of our home? What's my perspective about
- 51:27Speaker 3: family altar? What's my perspective about parenting? What do I
- 51:31Speaker 3: think about those things? Because the both of us are
- 51:35Speaker 3: coming together and these are the ideologies that will form
- 51:38Speaker 3: the background of our homes. Are you following what I'm
- 51:42Speaker 3: saying here? What do I think about family finance? Should
- 51:46Speaker 3: we discuss it? Don't say, no, no, no, no, no.
- 51:50Speaker 3: We have all that pertains to life and godliness. No,
- 51:52Speaker 3: discuss about it. How much are you earning? It's not
- 51:56Speaker 3: the wrong question. I said it's not the wrong question.
- 51:59Speaker 3: How much are you earning? How much am I earning?
- 52:02Speaker 2: Am I ready to work? What's my perspective?
- 52:05Speaker 3: What do you want to do? Do you want to
- 52:07Speaker 3: be a full housewife or do you want to work?
- 52:10Speaker 3: Do I have what it takes to permit full housewife?
- 52:14Speaker 3: Or I will be irritated and I need you to work.
- 52:18Speaker 3: What's my perspective about inter-tribal marriage? Can I handle it?
- 52:22Speaker 3: Can I handle conflicting cultural differences? Can I handle being
- 52:27Speaker 3: a Yoruba man and my in-laws are Hausa's or Igbo's?
- 52:31Speaker 3: Can I handle having my children as a man from
- 52:34Speaker 3: Ogun State, having their uncles in Mbise, or.
- 52:38Speaker 2: In River State now? Give me a name now. Sapele?
- 52:45Speaker 2: In Wari?
- 52:47Speaker 3: Can I handle it? No, be honest with yourself. I
- 52:53Speaker 3: love you so much with the love of Christ. Hope
- 52:55Speaker 3: you know that is agape.
- 52:58Speaker 5: Hey.
- 53:00Speaker 2: What's my perspective about size? You don't think it's something
- 53:06Speaker 2: to think about? No, no, it is not giving up.
- 53:12Speaker 2: I just take it. That's my dealing.
- 53:15Speaker 3: I pledge allegiance to the Lamb with all my life.
- 53:20Speaker 3: You need allegiance to marry this one. And nobody says
- 53:24Speaker 3: something is wrong already. You see, we lie and we
- 53:29Speaker 3: deceive ourselves. We remove the place of attraction.
- 53:37Speaker 2: I'm attracted to my wife. And I've never been attracted
- 53:40Speaker 2: to another. My wife.
- 53:44Speaker 3: Look at the number of beautiful people I'm pastoring. I'm
- 53:47Speaker 3: now trying to manage my wife. I can't even stand
- 53:50Speaker 3: her presence. That's why they die small, small.
- 53:55Speaker 2: It calls for discussion. Question. Can I stand a woman
- 54:00Speaker 2: with tribal mark? Can I stand a man with... No. Oh.
- 54:15Speaker 4: Yes. Yes.
- 54:18Speaker 3: Ask yourself. And your answer be true. So that you
- 54:23Speaker 3: don't go finish until they force you.
- 54:24Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 54:26Speaker 3: On the way, we ask, do you of your own
- 54:28Speaker 3: free will take this woman as your lawful wedded of
- 54:32Speaker 3: your own free will?
- 54:33Speaker 2: Your own free will. That thing is there. Do you
- 54:41Speaker 2: of your own free will?
- 54:45Speaker 3: Now say, actually, no, no, no. You answered that you
- 54:49Speaker 3: did of your own free will. We must understand that
- 54:55Speaker 3: godliness with contentment is great gain.
- 55:00Speaker 2: It's great gain. My wife used glasses. I actually don't mind.
- 55:13Speaker 2: It's fine.
- 55:16Speaker 3: You understand what I'm saying? If she buy the frame.
- 55:20Speaker 3: If I see that I don't really like the frame,
- 55:22Speaker 3: I say talk. What's up with this friend now? What's
- 55:25Speaker 3: going on?
- 55:25Speaker 2: I ask. She buys a dress and says, oh, babe,
- 55:32Speaker 2: do you like this? I validate your feelings. But... I
- 55:46Speaker 2: validate your feelings, but....
- 55:57Speaker 3: How do we lay the foundation of a functional family?
- 56:04Speaker 3: Number one, are we practicing Christians? Are we practicing Christians?
- 56:15Speaker 3: You can't jump Christ and have a good home.
- 56:19Speaker 4: No.
- 56:20Speaker 2: No. You can't jump Christ. Let's just jump this Christianity thing.
- 56:24Speaker 2: Now you are like....
- 56:26Speaker 3: I'm not really the Jesus type. Who then is in
- 56:31Speaker 3: charge of your home? Whose school of thought are you
- 56:35Speaker 3: using to build? Are we Christians? If you start a
- 56:41Speaker 3: relationship with a person and forget to know if the
- 56:44Speaker 3: person is born again or not, it's because that's not
- 56:46Speaker 3: your value. That's not your core value. You are not
- 56:52Speaker 3: even interested in that. Don't ever get to the point.
- 56:55Speaker 2: Of anything goes. Is he a man? Give it to me.
- 57:01Speaker 2: A girl, she wears a skirt, give me. No. Are
- 57:06Speaker 2: we Christians? Do we love God?
- 57:10Speaker 3: Is he the kind of man I can go to
- 57:13Speaker 3: church with and sit down and learn? Not go to church,
- 57:16Speaker 3: they'll be pinching and say, see what pastor is saying
- 57:17Speaker 3: about you.
- 57:22Speaker 2: Not pinching, see your life, see your life. Is he alive?
- 57:25Speaker 2: I'm going to tell you. Or as I'm teaching, text
- 57:27Speaker 2: the man or text the wife. I say, join Apostle
- 57:30Speaker 2: Lazarus now. Join Apostle Lazarus now.
- 57:43Speaker 3: But that when we sit down to read the word,
- 57:47Speaker 3: I can see that, ah, I have not treated you
- 57:49Speaker 3: the way the Bible says to treat my husband.
- 57:51Speaker 2: I apologize. I apologize. What are our core values? We
- 58:04Speaker 2: are trying to make Christianity and Christian principles look like
- 58:07Speaker 2: old school.
- 58:09Speaker 3: Like things that doesn't really matter in this woke generation.
- 58:12Speaker 3: It has mattered for the past 2,000 years. It will
- 58:15Speaker 3: matter till Jesus comes. The world with all their intelligence
- 58:19Speaker 3: and wisdom will come back to learn the way of
- 58:22Speaker 3: the cross. They will fail in their wisdom. They will
- 58:26Speaker 3: fail in their smartness. And many of the things that
- 58:29Speaker 3: they are doing will fail. But this is my counsel
- 58:31Speaker 3: to you. Your orientation should not be built by the media.
- 58:35Speaker 3: We should go back to sit with the word. I
- 58:37Speaker 3: have chosen. Are you aware now it is almost becoming
- 58:40Speaker 3: a cake if a woman takes the wedding vow and say,
- 58:44Speaker 3: I will honor you.
- 58:45Speaker 2: And I say, you will what? Honor you. Say, to
- 58:47Speaker 2: love and to honor. Say, oh, what? Love and oh, what?
- 58:50Speaker 6: Honor.
- 58:51Speaker 3: And if you see a woman saying, I will love
- 58:54Speaker 3: you as my head, I will honor you and submit
- 58:57Speaker 3: to you. They say, no, no, look at her. She's
- 58:59Speaker 3: a foolish woman. But the foolish woman has a good home.
- 59:10Speaker 3: We have the bandwagon effect. The bandwagon effect. You know,
- 59:14Speaker 3: when I proposed to my wife and I said, will
- 59:16Speaker 3: you marry me?
- 59:20Speaker 2: She was. Yeah, she said yes. Of course. That's why
- 59:25Speaker 2: we are here.
- 59:27Speaker 3: I knelt down to propose. That's what I've seen people do. So,
- 59:33Speaker 3: I did it. It didn't reduce me. My height didn't reduce.
- 59:36Speaker 3: My complexion didn't change.
- 59:38Speaker 2: It's fantastic. I like it. It's my business. And my wife,
- 59:42Speaker 2: for reasons best known to her, also knelt down and
- 59:45Speaker 2: said yes. Somebody went to the comment section and said,
- 59:48Speaker 2: what nonsense. You are disgracing womanhood. Not your wife. Not
- 59:53Speaker 2: you I propose to.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: We must not allow popular opinion change our perspective about
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: what the Bible says.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: We must not. This is where we pick our orientations from.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: The Word.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: As a family, we come to church for Bible study.
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: If the Word addresses us, we go back home and
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: apologize to each other and say, I love you more.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: We will not bottle issues in our hearts and be
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: looking for a way to bolt out on each other.
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: No.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: I chose you from the very beginning. We will fight
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: this through. Are you seeing that now? We will fight
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: it through. Are there exceptions to that?
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: Yes. When we get to that bridge, we will cross it.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: But is this person a born again Christian? Yes. Does
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: he beat you?
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: No.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: Has he left God?
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: No.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: Does he provide?
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Support each other.
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: Sometimes you have to start praying that I choose to
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: be a blessing to whomsoever I marry. I will love
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: you with the love of Christ and even with my emotions.
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: I will be a blessing to you. I will do
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: you good all the days of your life. You are
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: praying that prayer for yourself and your spouse. I am
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: a blessing to whosoever fight me in the name of Jesus.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: I am not a painful spouse.
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: No.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: I will love my spouse with the love of Christ.
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: I will be humble. I will be patient. I will
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: endure with my spouse. These are confessions we'll make. Marriage
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: really in itself, nothing is more humbling than marriage marriage
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: is humbling it will humble you it humbles me I
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: wish I can look at my wife sometimes and say
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: take it now and she sleeps off but this one
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: you can't this one will not take you, see what
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: I say see what I say, take what Sit down,
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: let's talk.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: That's the person that can tell me. You need to
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: put your phone aside, let's talk.
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: Alright.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: I can't say, what did you say? I wasn't trained
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: to talk like that. You dare to tell me to
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: sit down? Do you know who I am? Well, if
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: you have to announce who you are, you are not.
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: I made up my mind before I got married. I
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: don't have what it takes to slap my wife.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: I don't. I don't have the energy. May that day
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: never come.
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: I don't have what it takes. I don't have what
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: it takes. I don't have what it takes. You must
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: inform yourself again and again that we are going to
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: do it the Bible way. The Bible way. That's the foundation.
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: That's the sure foundation. Wise man is the man that
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: builds his house on the rock. It's more, it might
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: be painful initially, they may mock you and call you
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: a fool.
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: The Bible way.
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: The Bible way. The Bible way. The Bible way. Don't
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: let people whose life.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: Is bitter give you perspectives. You are the one that
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: know where you are coming from. Protect your heart. Any
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: orientation you want to take, check those who have run
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: with it, where did they usually end? Every orientation has products.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: If I read the Bible way, where are the products?
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: If I do it the Bible way, I will feel
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: cheated sometimes.
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: Yes. If I do it the Bible way, I will
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: feel cheated sometimes. Yes. If I do it the Bible way,
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: I will look like a fool sometimes. Yes.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: No, I need to tell you that when you do
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: marriage the Bible way, there are many times you look
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: like a fool. Because you know what you can do,
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: even though for Christ. But meekness is power under control.
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: Never let anybody tell you that the Bible way will
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: not come with it. No, it will come with some things.
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: You have options.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: But you can't exploit. That's the Bible way.
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: Oh yes.
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: That's the Bible way. I will not always look right.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: Lift up your right hand again. Say I choose to
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: do it the Bible way.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: Say it again. I choose to do it the Bible way.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: So the standard that God has given to us for
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: building a godly home It's not people's opinion, neither is
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: it people's pain.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: It is the word. It is the word.
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: You cannot separate solid Christian values from the foundation of
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: your home. A true child of God can't lie. Did
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: you do it?
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: Yes. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. A true child of God
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: is faithful. That's part of the fruit of the Spirit.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: I love you. You will never meet me texting another person.
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: No.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: I choose not to. Not because I can't do it
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: and hide it. I choose not to because I fear God.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: This marriage is not you and I. It is you
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: and me with Christ in our midst. I will never
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: go back to my ex and talk to my ex
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: about my wife that I miss you.
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: No.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: Is it possible for there to be things I miss
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: in my ex? Maybe.
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: But because I fear God, I protect the woman I marry.
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: I will never go to my family members and watch
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: my husband before them.
- 1:06:49Speaker 6: No.
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: Is it because he's not doing things that you watch
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: my husband?
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: No, he is. but I choose to honor him and
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: protect him. These are things we can settle in our
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: own home. I choose to do it the Bible way.
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: And when you do it the Bible way, people can
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: take you for granted.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: But you have chosen to honor God.
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: When the wife of Potiphar said to Joseph, come lie
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: with me, he said, how shall I do these things
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: and sin against God?
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: How shall I.
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: The purity test that you fail in your single days,
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: you will have to rewrite the exam as a married person.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: Oh, yes.
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: Speak in tongues from now till tomorrow. There is a
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: place called self-control. You will pass the test. And our
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: Christianity is meaningless if we can't pass sexual tests. What
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: is the Christianity we are running up and down with
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: sexual perversions?
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: Huh?
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: Several girls are wondering and say, look at the things
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: he's teaching. If only they know he's a predator. But
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: Jews less pastor.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: Huh? What's our Christianity? What's our Christianity? These are the
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: basic test. Love of mammon. Dealing with it. The lost
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: of the flesh. Pride of life. Basic things.
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: But it's not enough to come and hold the mic
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: and vibrating, can I hold myself before the opposite sex?
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: Not because my wife will see it, but because I
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: fear God. We must go back to holding the tenet
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: of purity. Learn to forgive. You two that are forgiving,
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: why are you repeating the same thing every time? Imagine
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: that it is possible to be preaching in church like this.
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: And many girls are seated. who have seen the nakedness
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: of the pastor. And they're just looking at him and say,
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: it's not that deep. The depth of wisdom is not
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: in speech, but in a life demonstrated like Christ. That's
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: the depth of wisdom. Show me you are a wise man,
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: not by the things you say, but by the quality
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: of life that you live. Are you following what I'm
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: saying here?
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: We fear God.
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: Say it again, I fear God. Say it again loud
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: and clear, I choose to fear God. I choose to
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: honor God with my life. I choose to honor God
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: with everything. I choose to honor God with my body.
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: Say it again, I choose to honor God with my body.
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: That means that we are in a relationship, I know
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: we will marry, but I.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: Choose to hold on.
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: It's like we no longer talk about those things again.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: What kind of Bible study do you come to and
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: go back living couples life and you are not married?
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: And you are not feeling it. What kind of Bible
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: study is that? Nothing pricks your heart. Nothing tells you
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: it is wrong. Say, I have accommodation issue.
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: Nah, lie. If you have accommodation issue, let another sister
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: host you or another brother. True or not true? Talk
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: to me now. True or not true?
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: Because when you finish taking the honey, the moon becomes boring.
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: People start beating themselves wedding night. There's nothing to honor.
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: The person you partner with in defiling your body, you
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: are now demanding for what you get when you don't
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: defile your body from the same person.
- 1:10:55Speaker 5: Wrong.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: Wrong.
- 1:10:58Speaker 5: Wrong.
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: Am I saying that as an ex you are going
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: to maltreat each other? No.
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: But we are saying that both people who don't like
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: trouble should choose to honor God from the scratch. This
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: is the foundation. Are you following what I'm saying here?
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: That I will not go and touch a woman that
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: is not my wife. This is the foundation. We must
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: tell ourselves this truth. You know, whether we are in
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: Canada or United States, you know it's a very cold place.
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: In this place, you need people to help you keep warm.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: My sister, on stove. On your gas cooker, whatever it
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: is you use there, on it. If you don't find something,
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: get firewood, my friend. The Bible says it is better
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: to marry than to what?
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: To burn. The thing they hold you. You're too married now.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: Praise God.
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: This is the foundation. If there was a generation that
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: bated pain, this is what was missed. I'm saying that
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: you have no.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: Right to castigate anybody if you are not preparing to
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: do better. You have no right. Be sure your children
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: will not hate you more than you hate them. Be sure.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: You never can be sure.
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: Be sure your children will not be broken by you
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: more than you were broken by them.
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: Be sure.
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: This thing comes with sacrifices. You cannot expect privileges without
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: making sacrifice. What are you willing to do differently? I
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: shared a story of a man that went to a
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: restaurant to eat and they said to him, in this restaurant,
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: any food you eat here, your father already paid, so
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: you don't pay.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: I said, really? He said, yes. Your father paid, you
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: don't pay.
- 1:12:48Speaker 5: Really?
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: He said, yes. He ate.
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: He ate in a way that, you know there's a
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: way you eat in a restaurant, they come and tell you,
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: please don't come tomorrow.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: That was the way he ate. By the time he
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: was done, he said, ah, thank you. May God bless
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: you guys and all that.
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: And he was about to leave. And they called him back.
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: What you just ate, your father paid for it. What
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: will your own son eat? Don't just expect privileges without what?
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: Sacrifices.
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: The people you are angry at for the kind of
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: family they gave you, there are children in your loins
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: also who we don't know what they will feel about you.
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: Communicate that anger into thinking differently. Communicate that anger into
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: doing differently. Communicate that anger into changing your own orientation.
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: Use your anger well.
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: Don't just use the anger to be bitter and battered
- 1:13:50Speaker 6: and broken.
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: And because of that, you're already creating another dysfunctionality. I
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: have pains, but I know where I channel them to.
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: I sat down to calculate family history from what I
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: see here. At what age did this person do that?
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: At what age did this person do that? When I
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: crossed that age and I didn't make that mistake, I
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: celebrate that birthday. That's my only thing for celebrating birthdays.
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: It is history. I check. This is what I see.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: At what age was this made?
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: This.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: At what age was this made?
- 1:14:21Speaker 5: This.
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: At what age is this?
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: If I have no right, I must pass that age
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: and refuse to do it. That is when my life
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: at that season is worth celebrating.
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: I don't like my dad. He has several wives. He
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: has several this. He has several.
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: You too now, you are not married. But you know
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: how to manage four girls. You're a low budget version
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: of him. I don't like my mother. She's not sacrificial.
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: She didn't make the sacrifice for us. She abandoned us.
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: Do you know what sacrifice means? Sacrifice is painful. Sacrifice
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: comes at a cost. It comes at a cost. It
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: is painful. It is painful.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: The sacrifice of choosing to be the kind of man
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: that my children will say, my daughters will say, I
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: want to marry a man.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: Like my dad.
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: The sacrifice to be like that will be a sacrifice
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: that will make me see people that are fine.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: And I will say, I fear God.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: It is sacrifice where there will be avenues for me
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: to raise my voice at my wife in their presence.
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: And I will say, no, they must not see this.
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: And I'll get inside the room and say, please, we
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: must not do this. I may feel cheated at that point,
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: but you have saved the future. You cannot have your
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: way and say you are sacrificial. What are you two
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: going to bring to the table differently? Are you following
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: what I'm saying here? Is this simple enough? You cannot
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: expect privileges without making sacrifices. It takes a bad egg
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: to give a bad omelette. It takes a bad egg.
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: What kind of single am I? Now that I'm not
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: even married, I'm fighting myself. All my room, every roommate
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: we've ever had, everybody who's separated with a fight, every
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: roommate we've ever had.
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: From part one in school, even the, what's it called now?
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: The boarding school days. till part two, till final year.
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: You even went for camp meeting somewhere, they locked all
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: of you together, only you, there's nobody that you greet now.
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: You block everybody's contact. And you always say, they are
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: bad people, they are bad people, they are bad people.
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: You see, you are making those excuses. Now you are
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: about to say, I do, without learning the culture of peace.
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: Am I a peaceful person? You see, people were saying that,
- 1:17:10Speaker 3: how can a person say that? Women go through a lot, let.
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: Me tell you.
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: Let me tell you see let me give you the
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: balance it doesn't matter what the pain is you will
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: never as a woman go and slap a police officer
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: no come on let's stop this nonsense.
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: Let's stop this nonsense is this something that is more
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: than enough that people go through yes but there's something
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: called self-control this is the way we build families are
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: you following what i'm saying here you are quiet this
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: is the way we build what families There is no
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: amount of pain I will feel. I will look at
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: my husband and say, you are a bastard. I say,
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: what is the problem? He says, I am having cramps.
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: I say, no.
- 1:17:55Speaker 4: No, no.
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: Drag me from now till a billion years. No.
- 1:18:01Speaker 5: No.
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: I am a man.
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: I am frustrated. Because I am frustrated, you need to
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: know what men go through. It is not easy also.
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: I look at my wife and I tear her down.
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: No.
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: No. You don't use excuse of emotions to validate what
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: is wrong.
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: You can't say the wife of Job was right because
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: she was a woman. No. You don't curse God. No.
- 1:18:27Speaker 5: No.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: That's scriptures.
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: There's nothing we humanly feel that should take us away from.
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: What the Bible says we should do. That's scripture. Let
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: me show you a few scriptures. Turn your Bibles with me.
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: You see, the subtle adjustment to excuse fault characters, it
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: will come back to haunt.
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: The society in a bad way.
- 1:18:55Speaker 3: The things we're excusing, the things we're excusing, the things
- 1:18:59Speaker 3: we're excusing. You say, man, he just likes to behave
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: like a woman.
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: Leave him like that. That is what he has chosen.
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: My God. My God. He says, no, no, that is
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: the way he wants to do his own Christianity. Is
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: he going to make heaven? Yes. So allow him. Are
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: you aware that it's becoming more popular now?
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: The devil is after the testes of the guys. Very
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: soon now you see them, everybody, butt implant. You know,
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: in this generation now, your ex-boyfriend can become somebody else's wife.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: Your ex-boyfriend. Your ex-boyfriend. Somebody else's wife. Your ex-boyfriend. You
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: don't even know how to say, but that was mine.
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: Wait a minute. You don't understand. How do you deal.
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: With the issue when you find out that your husband
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: is cheating on you, but not with a woman.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: No, wait, you see, why are you laughing?
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: How do you deal with the knowledge as a child
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: that your dad is cheating on your mom with a
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: fellow man? How do you deal with the knowledge as
- 1:20:37Speaker 3: a child that your dad, your mom is cheating on
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: your dad, not with.
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: A woman, not with a man? with another woman.
- 1:20:46Speaker 3: This and many more are the questions the next generations
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: will have. Who are the pastors that will pastor them?
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: Are they being equipped for it? Think about it right now.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: You saw a message on your husband's phone. I love you.
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: I can't wait to have you. And you are shocked
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: from a fellow man. That a person is cheating is bad.
- 1:21:24Speaker 3: That one is not. The pain is a pain you
- 1:21:27Speaker 3: can't explain. So when we are talking about the issue
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: of homes, this is delicate.
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: It's a warfare. It's a warfare.
- 1:21:48Speaker 3: Every time you see me standing outside, just pray in
- 1:21:50Speaker 3: your heart for your pastor. Because we are dealing with
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: the things that the devil hates. The one that is
- 1:21:59Speaker 3: still paining you is that your father has children outside.
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: What about your father dating your chemistry teacher a male?
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: So let people live the kind of life they want
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: to live. That is where it ends.
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: The devil starts with the small things that you have excused.
- 1:22:22Speaker 3: The same you who excused that will have to allow
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: the big things. That's the bargain. You'll have to allow
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: the big things.
- 1:22:35Speaker 5: If anyone have any idea of the work ahead of
- 1:22:41Speaker 5: the church, then the next conclusion you will know, you
- 1:22:44Speaker 5: will have, is that we are being distracted at the moment.
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: There is work for the church.
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: We don't know what is coming. You see, I understand
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: that you are being blessed by my teachings on trauma.
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: But I tell you, they will still be relevant in
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: another 15, 20 years, 30 years. Because that generation will
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: need it more. They will need it more. I can't
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: have my way And God has his way at the
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: same time.
- 1:23:21Speaker 6: No.
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: Both of us can't have our way. No. No. No. No.
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: I want to show you something. Ephesians chapter number 5.
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: From verse 20. Ephesians 5 from verse 20.
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Submitting
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives,
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: submit yourselves to your own husbands as to the Lord.
- 1:24:12Speaker 3: Meaning that you cannot claim to love God more than
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: you actually submitted in your homes. For the husband is
- 1:24:18Speaker 3: the head of the wife. This is Bible. Is this
- 1:24:20Speaker 3: the Bible? Talk to me now. Is this the Bible?
- 1:24:23Speaker 3: Talk to me now. Is this the Bible? If the
- 1:24:25Speaker 3: home will be peaceful, should there be submission?
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:24:29Speaker 3: That is the Bible. This is where we build on.
- 1:24:32Speaker 3: That if I'm going to marry you, I have chosen,
- 1:24:34Speaker 3: I will honor you. I will submit to you.
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: I cannot disappear from the home and say, when I return,
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: when you see me, you see me.
- 1:24:43Speaker 3: No. We can't ego build. You know, in the gym,
- 1:24:49Speaker 3: there's something called ego lifting. Maybe a guy has entered
- 1:24:54Speaker 3: the gym and he has spotted a very fine girl.
- 1:24:57Speaker 3: And he wants to prove to the girl that the
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: mantra is here. This is a guy that they still
- 1:25:03Speaker 3: beg to lift 40 kg. What is it called now?
- 1:25:09Speaker 3: The iron rod itself, I think it's about 25 kg.
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: They help him to put some 5 kg on the side.
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: We have 20 kg on the left. He lifts the thing,
- 1:25:18Speaker 3: the whole thing is crashing in on him. That is
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: what ego does. It will break the roof over your head.
- 1:25:27Speaker 3: Good marriage will cost us. It will cost me my ego.
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: Nothing goes for nothing though. It will cost me my ego.
- 1:25:36Speaker 3: It will cost me my appetite. Good marriage is costly.
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: But a bad one is more costly. We pay the
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: prices in two different ways. The good thing is that
- 1:25:47Speaker 3: if my home is good, I pay the price. But
- 1:25:50Speaker 3: my children don't have to. They benefit from it. If
- 1:25:53Speaker 3: I make it go bad, they will pay the price.
- 1:26:07Speaker 3: This is the Bible. For the husband is the head
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: of the wife, even as Christ is the head of
- 1:26:13Speaker 3: the church, and he is the savior of the body. Therefore,
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: as the church is subject to Christ, so let wives
- 1:26:21Speaker 3: be subject to their own husbands in everything. I appreciate
- 1:26:25Speaker 3: the way you honor me as a pastor, but I'm
- 1:26:28Speaker 3: somebody's husband.
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: You have your own.
- 1:26:30Speaker 3: I must see what validates your honor is that you
- 1:26:34Speaker 3: honor your husband more. When I come to visit you
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: at home, I don't deserve the best place.
- 1:26:39Speaker 5: No.
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: Your husband deserves it. Is that okay now?
- 1:26:43Speaker 3: Before you kneel down to greet a pastor, be sure
- 1:26:45Speaker 3: you are doing the same for your husband. If not,
- 1:26:48Speaker 3: you are communicating to that man that you don't deserve it,
- 1:26:50Speaker 3: my friend. Many men now hate the church the wife attends.
- 1:26:54Speaker 3: Because the woman will not stop talking about the pastor,
- 1:26:57Speaker 3: how that is a blessing.
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: You know, when my wife got married, there's one guy
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: she likes to listen to. I won't mention his name.
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: Every morning, my wife will play a song. And say,
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: I just like the song. I was looking at her.
- 1:27:14Speaker 3: Day two, you play it again. You just like the song.
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: Day three to play, I just like his song. I
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: said I will enter studio because of you.
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: What do you mean? Stop. Are you jealous?
- 1:27:28Speaker 3: I am.
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: I'm jealous. A fellow man like me. Play, lady, play.
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: We have not invited that guy to come and minister
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: here for that reason. What do you mean? He will
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: come here now. What is that? Sometimes we are having meetings,
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: they say Thanksgiving, let's invite him in. Don't bring that
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: name here. I love him from afar. Say what you
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: are saying is carnal. I love my carnality, it keeps
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: my home. Oh yes. I mean, I'm a very realistic person.
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: I don't deceive myself. How will you be playing a song? What?
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: The guy will be singing, I say I don't like
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: his voice. I don't, I don't, your voice is hurting my.
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: If she had not stopped, I would have, I'm telling you,
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: by now I'll be a singer.
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: I will be a singer. Every song, me too, I
- 1:28:34Speaker 3: will go and sing my own. If I sing with
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: the voice of a frog, it doesn't matter, I will
- 1:28:38Speaker 3: sing my own. You see, you must understand that when
- 1:28:43Speaker 3: it comes to honor, men are jealous.
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: So you don't want to communicate to your husband that
- 1:28:51Speaker 3: there's any man of God anywhere that is a blessing
- 1:28:54Speaker 3: to you more than he is. Sometimes the way to
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: even keep your home is just to hide certain things.
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: I'm not saying keep matters from your husband. But you
- 1:29:02Speaker 3: know you are being blessed. You know there is a
- 1:29:03Speaker 3: way you tell your husband, have you heard Apostle Lazarus?
- 1:29:05Speaker 3: I don't even want to hear him. I don't want
- 1:29:08Speaker 3: to hear Apostle Lazarus. Every time Apostle Lazarus. If you
- 1:29:14Speaker 3: want him to hear it, you don't force a man now.
- 1:29:20Speaker 3: Don't force a man. And sometimes you need to hear
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: where he heard from. Because he's hearing the voice of
- 1:29:25Speaker 3: a fellow man. Sometimes it's easier when the man is
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: the one saying, have you heard this person?
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: Amen. Verse 25 now. Men, are you still in the room? Husbands,
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: do what? It means if you don't love your wife,
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: you are not a husband.
- 1:29:45Speaker 3: The word husband means a gardener, the one who nourishes
- 1:29:48Speaker 3: his garden, who matures it. What a woman matures in
- 1:29:53Speaker 3: is love. Are they always lovable? I bet no. If
- 1:29:59Speaker 3: you call people who have been married for 20 years
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: and ask them, how many of you have felt at
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: one point that you married wrong?
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: I can almost bet 90%. Yes. Marriage is like that.
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: It's that humbling. But sometimes you say to her, I
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: love you.
- 1:30:17Speaker 3: What do you say? That's how you be saying. What
- 1:30:19Speaker 3: you are saying now, you don't really mean it. You
- 1:30:21Speaker 3: don't really mean it. When was that time you told
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: me I love you? She has forgotten all the argument.
- 1:30:25Speaker 3: Now what she's saying is prove it. You too, just
- 1:30:28Speaker 3: kiss her now and you have proven it. Sasha, everything
- 1:30:30Speaker 3: has calmed down now. The way you have saved different pictures,
- 1:30:39Speaker 3: screenshots of different ladies wearing different wears.
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: I hope those screenshots are for your wife. Love your wife.
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: If somebody wears something that looks beautiful, let her wear
- 1:30:50Speaker 3: the same thing. You will see that she is fine.
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: Love your wife. Sometimes beauty is where you convince yourself
- 1:30:58Speaker 2: it is. Yes.
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: If all the women in the world are taking away now,
- 1:31:11Speaker 3: and there's just one person there, somebody who have said,
- 1:31:13Speaker 3: this fellow is not fine, I don't... At some point,
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: the fellow will be fine because you don't have an option.
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: True?
- 1:31:21Speaker 3: Good. That is the same way marriage should be. The
- 1:31:24Speaker 3: fact that you have options is the reason why you
- 1:31:26Speaker 3: can go with the fact that your wife is no
- 1:31:28Speaker 3: longer fine to you.
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: No. Kill all those options. Love your wives. Even as
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: Christ also loved... This one is serious. How many times
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: have you sinned and Christ forgave you? Talk to me now.
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: Sins forever. Sins forever.
- 1:31:52Speaker 3: Bible says that, and he gave himself for it, that
- 1:31:55Speaker 3: he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of
- 1:31:59Speaker 3: water by the word, that he might present it to himself,
- 1:32:05Speaker 3: a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: such thing, but that it should be holy without blemish.
- 1:32:16Speaker 3: So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies.
- 1:32:22Speaker 3: He that loves his wife, love himself. I think this
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: is why they might coin that word from happy wife,
- 1:32:30Speaker 3: happy life. Who benefits from the fact that my wife
- 1:32:34Speaker 3: is happy?
- 1:32:34Speaker 4: Me.
- 1:32:37Speaker 2: I'm the first beneficiary.
- 1:32:40Speaker 3: If my wife dresses well and everybody says, I just
- 1:32:42Speaker 3: love the way you combine things, who is receiving the honor?
- 1:32:46Speaker 5: Me.
- 1:32:47Speaker 3: If I wear fine stuff and my wife looks like
- 1:32:49Speaker 3: somebody we picked from the bush, who will receive the shame?
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: Me.
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: The testimony of your wisdom is what you do to
- 1:32:56Speaker 3: your garden. If you say you are a man who
- 1:33:00Speaker 3: is rich, let's see the impact of that wealth on
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: your wife. Sometimes my wife is looking somehow, I can't explain,
- 1:33:10Speaker 3: I don't understand. I say, start dancing. Start dancing.
- 1:33:14Speaker 2: Bring out money.
- 1:33:15Speaker 5: Dance.
- 1:33:15Speaker 6: Dance.
- 1:33:17Speaker 2: Dance.
- 1:33:18Speaker 3: The dance will come from nowhere. Learn that act. This
- 1:33:25Speaker 3: thing can change their mood anytime. What was I even
- 1:33:32Speaker 3: sad about?
- 1:33:32Speaker 2: I can't remember. I can't remember. I will dance. I
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: will dance. I will dance. Happy wife. Happy life.
- 1:33:44Speaker 3: The moment we decide to We will do it the
- 1:33:47Speaker 3: Bible way. The devil will have to look for a
- 1:33:51Speaker 3: more crucial means to destroy you.
- 1:33:53Speaker 2: No longer the path of ego. Yes, will I teach
- 1:33:59Speaker 2: about how to come out from the injuries of.
- 1:34:02Speaker 3: I will go there. But I want to make sure
- 1:34:05Speaker 3: that the person I'm teaching that is not one that
- 1:34:08Speaker 3: will go out to the next generation.
- 1:34:11Speaker 2: Is that okay now?
- 1:34:16Speaker 3: It is very easy for a message to be a
- 1:34:18Speaker 3: blessing when the message addresses somebody else. But are you
- 1:34:22Speaker 3: still blessed when it deals with you? Talk to me now.
- 1:34:25Speaker 3: Are you still blessed when the message confronts you?
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:34:30Speaker 3: That is the proof of our submission to Jesus. In Christianity,
- 1:34:34Speaker 3: we submit to the will of God. We don't put
- 1:34:37Speaker 3: it side by side with our will and take 50-50.
- 1:34:39Speaker 2: No.
- 1:34:40Speaker 3: I look at the things I want to do. I
- 1:34:42Speaker 3: look at what he wants. I drop mine and I
- 1:34:45Speaker 3: pick his. This is the basic foundation of Christianity.
- 1:34:50Speaker 2: We're going to do something tonight.
- 1:34:54Speaker 3: And I want to beg you in the name of
- 1:34:57Speaker 3: Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
- 1:35:00Speaker 2: When I ask you to pray, please pray.
- 1:35:04Speaker 3: But before we pray, understand fully well that there are
- 1:35:07Speaker 3: aspects of marriage you don't know until you buy certain books.
- 1:35:10Speaker 2: Please.
- 1:35:13Speaker 3: You will get knowledge when you accept the fact that
- 1:35:16Speaker 3: you can be ignorant. Buy certain books. Listen to certain messages.
- 1:35:22Speaker 3: Tell yourself from the get-go, I don't know it all.
- 1:35:27Speaker 3: It is possible I have opinions, but the opinions are wrong.
- 1:35:31Speaker 3: It is possible I believe that the way to get
- 1:35:33Speaker 3: a woman to submit is for her never to know
- 1:35:35Speaker 3: my account statement, but I can't be wrong. It is
- 1:35:38Speaker 3: possible for me to believe that the way you deal
- 1:35:40Speaker 3: with men, men must never know what you are worth.
- 1:35:42Speaker 3: Because they are going to, and I'm wrong. So we
- 1:35:46Speaker 3: begin to renew our minds. I choose to do this
- 1:35:49Speaker 3: thing in a way that if Jesus will come and
- 1:35:52Speaker 3: vet it, he will say, well done. Is that the
- 1:35:55Speaker 3: kind of homes you want to build? Do you want
- 1:35:58Speaker 3: to have a good home or you want to be right? No,
- 1:36:01Speaker 3: you must choose one. Do you want to have a
- 1:36:03Speaker 3: good home or you want.
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: To be right?
- 1:36:06Speaker 3: It begins with, I'm sorry. That's where ego dies. So
- 1:36:11Speaker 3: we must choose it. Do I really want to have
- 1:36:14Speaker 3: a good home? Or I want to be right? So
- 1:36:17Speaker 3: sometimes I bury the idea of being right and I
- 1:36:19Speaker 3: pick this home over.
- 1:36:23Speaker 2: And we see how we sort things.
- 1:36:25Speaker 3: Somebody said, I think it was something I read, that
- 1:36:28Speaker 3: they asked a couple that were married for 70-something years,
- 1:36:32Speaker 3: that how were you both able to live together like
- 1:36:34Speaker 3: this for this long? The man said, no, the woman said,
- 1:36:38Speaker 3: we married at the point at a time That when
- 1:36:41Speaker 3: the plate breaks, we mend it.
- 1:36:43Speaker 2: We don't throw it away. Long suffering is still a
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: fruit of the Spirit.
- 1:36:51Speaker 3: Hope this thing I'm teaching is not becoming extinct in
- 1:36:59Speaker 3: this generation of opinions.
- 1:37:04Speaker 2: You know you need a form of audacity. Audacity. to
- 1:37:07Speaker 2: teach this.
- 1:37:08Speaker 3: That long suffering is still in the Bible. This is
- 1:37:15Speaker 3: the prayer we are going to pray. Jesus, help me
- 1:37:20Speaker 3: become more like you. That's the prayer.
- 1:37:26Speaker 2: Help me. Help me become more like you. This is
- 1:37:34Speaker 2: very valid. Help me become more like you. Help me
- 1:37:40Speaker 2: Help me Help me Help me.
- 1:37:57Speaker 3: Help me become more like you.
- 1:38:05Speaker 4: I want more of you. I want more of you, Jesus.
- 1:38:18Speaker 2: The more I.
- 1:38:21Speaker 4: Know you, It's the more I want to hear you, Jesus.
- 1:38:30Speaker 4: The more I know you.
- 1:38:34Speaker 2: Now listen. Amen.
- 1:38:37Speaker 3: Will I be the kind of spouse that I can
- 1:38:41Speaker 3: hear God that forgive your wife? And I'll say yes, Lord.
- 1:38:49Speaker 3: Am I marrying the kind of woman that I know
- 1:38:52Speaker 3: that God, who is our father, can talk to her
- 1:38:55Speaker 3: and she will listen? Are we still Christians? Do we
- 1:39:01Speaker 3: both read the Bible? Is the word of God going
- 1:39:04Speaker 3: to have foundation in our home? If I want to
- 1:39:09Speaker 3: go a route because I feel so, can I be
- 1:39:12Speaker 3: talked to with the word? What kind of Christian am I?
- 1:39:15Speaker 3: This is family life. You cannot separate it from the
- 1:39:19Speaker 3: quality of Christian that you are. Do you know the
- 1:39:26Speaker 3: reason why you must take my message? If we birth
- 1:39:30Speaker 3: children with pain, they will know you heard this message.
- 1:39:34Speaker 3: Because it will still be on YouTube. And they will ask,
- 1:39:40Speaker 3: what's your excuse? Are you seeing that now? Lift your
- 1:39:44Speaker 3: hands again. Jesus Help me to become more like you.
- 1:39:48Speaker 2: Ah, yes. Help me. Help me. Help me. Help me.
- 1:40:02Speaker 2: Help me. Help me. Help me, Jesus. Deal with my appetite.
- 1:40:13Speaker 2: Deal with every issue in me. Help me. Help me.
- 1:40:26Speaker 4: Help me.
- 1:40:27Speaker 2: Help me. Help me. In Jesus' mighty name, we're praying.
- 1:40:35Speaker 2: Let me leave you with this instruction. Every one of
- 1:40:37Speaker 2: us go back home.
- 1:40:40Speaker 3: To start learning again what are the basic tenets of
- 1:40:44Speaker 3: being a Christian. the biggest testimony there can be about
- 1:40:49Speaker 3: you is that you are a Christian.
- 1:40:51Speaker 2: Not that I'm an apostle, no. Not that I'm a
- 1:40:54Speaker 2: teacher of the word, no. Can my wife look at
- 1:40:57Speaker 2: me and say, you see, my husband is a Christian.
- 1:41:00Speaker 2: He will not take what is not his own. He
- 1:41:02Speaker 2: will not lie.
- 1:41:02Speaker 3: Everything he teaches, he's doing. That testimony is scarce. In
- 1:41:09Speaker 3: the name that is above all names, if there's anyone whose.
- 1:41:14Speaker 2: Fire has died, the Lord will help you.
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: All the values you used to run with that you
- 1:41:23Speaker 3: don't even know what happened to them. The fire is rekindled.
- 1:41:29Speaker 3: Your love for God and the fear of God is
- 1:41:32Speaker 3: restored in your heart. That fear and love for God
- 1:41:37Speaker 3: begins to bring certain restraints and you will do life the.
- 1:41:41Speaker 2: Way God wants you to do life.
- 1:41:43Speaker 3: No one under the sound of my voice will raise
- 1:41:46Speaker 3: another generation of dysfunction. You will get it right. You
- 1:41:51Speaker 3: will do marriage right. You will get it right. You
- 1:41:55Speaker 3: will get it right. Those waiting for you to fail
- 1:41:58Speaker 3: will wait in vain. The Lord will keep you in
- 1:42:03Speaker 3: the name of Jesus. You will not become miserable in
- 1:42:05Speaker 3: marriage in the name of Jesus. For those who are single,
- 1:42:10Speaker 3: your hands will not be wrongly joined in marriage. The
- 1:42:13Speaker 3: hand of the Lord will keep you and rest upon you.
- 1:42:17Speaker 3: In the name of Jesus.
- 1:42:19Speaker 2: It is done.
- 1:42:21Speaker 3: In Jesus mighty name. Let's put our hands together for Jesus.
- 1:42:28Speaker 3: Have you been blessed tonight? Let's make it more resounding.
- 1:42:31Speaker 2: More resounding. Amen.
