of why you believe what you believe in, who you believe in, or

is just an excuse for you not to believe in anything because you don't have

any reason to believe in? Other words, does Jesus ask us to blindly

place our faith in him? Like blindly? Oh, just trust me to

know about it? Is that the Lord that we follow as Christians, that

he just asks us to blindly, blindly without any reason to just trust him,

to have faith in him. Did he give us any evidence to support

his claims to deity? Do we have any evidence from Jesus that he is

God? Amen? Think about it, because people say that we're delusional as

Christians, that we follow a fake and phony and just made up god of

a universe, and we're trying to fill in the gap of putting God in

the gaps. In other words, we don't know what happens after death,

so we put God in there. We don't know who created the world,

so we put God in there. You know, I've heard those arguments before,

and I think they're very arrogant arguments because people are basically saying, how

do you know there is a God? As if they the questioner searched the

whole universe to find that there was no God if they had that type of

been changed and transforms. I heard testimonies upon testimonies upon testimonies of men and

women their lives being changed because they gave their heart, they started trusting and

from all different backgrounds, all different places of the world a man, different

scenarios, different situations, and they all have reasons. And that we're gona

word to our lives daily. So I pray that you help us in those

areas of our lives that we have some doubt and we need an increase of

faith in those areas. I pray a hedge of protection over myself, my

family, my whole household, my whole bloodline, from the very youngest family

member to the very oldest, and everyone in between. Touch my nephews,

touch my nieces, touch my grandchildren, touch my children, touch my wife,

said to him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough

Jesus said to him, listen closely. Have I been with you so long

and you still do not know me? Philip? The question, whoever has

seen me has seen the Father? How can you say, show us the

is in me? The words that I say to you, I do not

speak on my own authority, But the Father, who dwells in me,

does his works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father

man, because Jesus says is saying, listen, I am, I am

Hey, man, this whole thing about Jesus never said he was God.

It's bogus. It sounds so ignorant when people say that, and we

have to excuse them because we know they don't understand the scriptures, or if

they're smart people, they're reading the scriptures uninspired, so therefore they have no

Holy spirit. God is not revealed to them yet who he is, so

they don't understand the scriptures. And the Bible says, when you read the

scriptures uninspired, I have no Holy Spirit is gibberish. The gospels gibberish,

the quotes of Jesus is gibberish, because they don't have understanding or revelation of

what the Lord has said and what the Lord has done. But be patient

with people like that. Although they might be smart, they might think they

have all these arguments, all these reasons of why they don't believe. After

a while, those reasons that these smart people or whoever have for not believing

and trusting in the scriptures and God through Jesus, they turn from reasons to

excuses because then they start getting revelation. God slowly gives them revelation into this

and to that, And now they get a little embarrassed, and they still

don't go to Jesus. But now they're geting revelation, they're getting more understanding,

and now their reasons are turning into excuses. We don't have that problem.

As believers. We see Jesus, so we see the Father Amen,

and we have Holy Spirit God. This Philip had not received the Holy Spirit

yet. So therefore Jesus himself, the living Word of God, is explaining,

questioning and reacting and responding to his question. The words that he says,

he does not speak on his own authority, but the Father, who

lives, dwells, abides in him does the works. Believe me. Jesus

said that I am. You can stop right there and say, okay,

there is I'm God. He's saying, but let's read it. Believe me

that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. There's a

communion unity, right, Jesus saying we are one or else believe on account

of the works themselves. And what did he where did he say, or

who is doing the works through him? He already said it. The Father

in me does his works. So if you don't believe in Jesus, Jesus

said, okay, believe on account of the works of the Father themselves.

Either way, Jesus saying, I am he who you are asking to reveal,

amazing, amazing, And it doesn't seem like he was upset about it.

Just he's answering Philip's question. Amen. It doesn't seem I don't see

any tone there that Jesus is like, oh man, I have to explain

this to you too. No or oh man, nobody understands me, and

you know I'm going to cry. I have a piting No. You don't

hear that tone in the voice of Jesus. Amen in the scriptures and his

quote. He knows exactly who he is. People are questioning him of whose

authority are you coming in? Who do you think you are? Remember the

Pharisees, Sadducees, scribes, and the religious people of his time. How

can you be the Messiah your carpenter's son. You know, they were looking

for something or someone that they invented in their minds. They had the prophets,

they had the Psalms, they had the Old Covenant Amen, and that's

what they were. You know, they had the Law Moses, and that's

what they were relying on to get this revelation of who this Messiah is.

Jesus shows up and the Bible says, he comes to his very own.

The Messiah comes to his very own, and his own reject him. Why

do you think that? Because sometimes people have this mis conceived or misunderstanding of

what God is doing or how God should be doing a thing. And then

you have other people that say, well, if I was God, I

would have done it this way and that way. I know better, as

if they searched the whole entire universe and found this and found that, and

found a new way, and found this way to do this and that way.

It's called arrogance. And I spoke about that a couple of weeks back.

Righteous arrogance or I know the scriptures, so therefore, if I know

the scriptures, then if Jesus is saying this, it's not lying like it's

righteous arrogance. But listen, we have reasons as believers to believe in Who

would believe? Why we will believe a man? We have a reason and

a purpose, many reasons. During my earlier years being saved, I used

to tell people I have a lot of reasons why I shouldn't be believing in

the Lord because I was going through a lot of stuff, a lot of

loss of children and all that. I just couldn't understand it, and there

was no understanding of why a man I was actually got why? Why?

Why? And then in hindsight, I'm like, wow, that made me

a stronger man of God through those times. You realize that, and you're

going through tough times in life, God is with you more than the people

who are arrogant and proud, who supposedly have it all together. So you

know what I do. When I'm going through something, I can listen closely

to God more. It's like more focused attention. I need to hear God.

When somebody I know is going through something, maybe an illness, of

sickness, an operation, a loss, I go by this side and I

listen because I know if they're lined up, if they're connected with God,

Amen, they're going to be able to speak some things and give you some

revelation because they're getting direct love and comfort from the Lord himself. And God

is close to the broken hearted. The Bible says, so when we see

Jesus, we see the Father. And I think it was a great question

that Philip asks. I don't think he was, you know, I think

it's a questions valid at Philip asks, we want to know. Amen.

If you don't ask questquestions, the assumption is that you don't want answers.

If you don't go to God, assumption is you don't need God. Listen.

We have reasons to believe. We have the scriptures, we have testimonies,

we have evidence eye witness accounts all through the scriptures. We have the

promises of God. We have the Psalms, we have the Law, we

have the prophets. We have everything that we could possibly need to have reasons,

credible reasons to believe in Jesus as the Messiah. Right. We have

Holy Spirit in us reminding us of the word that was given to us and

what we have learned through the scriptures, and he's teaching us, guiding us,

guarding us, and moving us along the path that we should be on.

We could resist, amen, we could run, We could resist and

all that stuff. But I really don't think you could lose your identity unless

you totally reject what God is doing in your life, like totally, like

you know that there's been a change, a transformation in your life. And

then you or me we decide just to leave that all behind and go and

run into this world that's full of emptiness, it's full of deceit, it's

broken, it's harmful. You know. The world system is so corrupt,

Amen, Yes, said it. The world system, which, by the

way, Jesus is not running the world's system. God is not running the

world system for the moment and time there's a little time. According to God's

eternal perspective, the devil was running it. It should be obvious. Have

you seen any killing have you seen any political issues? Have you seen any

gender issues? Have you seen any chaos, wars, wumors of wars,

famines, disease, all of that. Have you seen that lately or it's

just me. Have you turned on the news? Are you alive? Do

you have a pulse? Because if you look at the world system, like

everywhere you look in any country doesn't just have to be in the USA,

you can see a lot of things going on. And since the news and

media networks they thrive off the bad stuff. That's to give you the story

because they know people will view it more you look at it. It's like,

man, you can't blame that along God, even though people do,

or you cannot say there is no God, although people say they do.

Because if there's good, it must be evil. If there's evil, there

must be good. If there's truth, there must be alive. There's a

lie, there must be a truth. Right. If we have creation,

that must be a creator. I mean to me, now it makes sense.

But before Jesus saved my life, I was running with everybody else's ideas

amen, and I had really no reasons to believe in a god who loved

me and believed in a God who died for me, and believe in a

God who rescues me. I had no reason to believe that because I was

just going along in my own little zone, in my own little zombie zombie

situation that I had going on in my life, and I was in the

matrix. I was in that trance of what this world does. If you're

not careful, the world could put you into trance, and you be in

this place of like, I don't have any reason to live. I don't

know who I am, I don't know what to do. I'm anxious,

I'm worried, I'm fearful. He could be in that place. And if

you're in that place right now, I'm not making fun at all. I

used to be in that place. Amen. But I know who to introduce

you to. If you're anxious and you're in fear, you're doubting, if

you're an atheist, if you're an agnostic, if you're cynic, a skeptic,

I know who to introduce you to. Amen. But once I introduce

you to this Lord, this Savior, this God through his word, Amen,

I could share my testimony. I could bring other people to share their

testimonies to you as well. You just have to decide for yourself. Is

this God real and can this God of the Scriptures do a change in transformation

in your life personally? Right, you would have reasons you could have to

make your decision. Amen, and I hope you make a decision to put

your whole faith and trust in the Lord Jesus today tomorrow, not promised,

yesterday gone. Right now, you have an opportunity the present time, at

the hearing of this word, at the viewing of the scriptures, at the

reading of the scriptures. Amen, on these morning DeVos or for whoever that

you follows filled with holy spirit God. I'm pretty sure by way of holy

Spirit, I could boldly say that they're introducing you to the same Savior God

that we're reading about here in the Scriptures in John chapter fourteen. Matter of

fact, take John fourteen today. Read the whole chapter for yourself, and

then put the scriptures down. Whether you're have it on your phone or if

you have the written word in a Bible form, Amen, read it,

put it down, then be silent. God has just spoken to you,

and now He wants to speak to you more and more. When God gets

your attention, it could be through a tragedy or could be through a joyful

time. You could be in a mountaintop having a mountaintop experience. Everything is

good, bank account is good, kids are good, spouse is good,

family is good. Everything. Give glory to God, thank him for all

those experiences. But then something might happen. The situation might happen that might

cause you to get off that mountain and then you have to go down to

the valley. Amen, thank God for those situations too. Thank God for

that too. Why because he was with you in a mountaintop and he'll be

with you in a pit in the valley experience. And then from there you

still know that you have a reason to believe in who you believe and why

you believe in him a man, because he's active in your life. He

responds to your questions, and he doesn't have to answer any one of our

questions. In this case, Philip is asking Jesus. Jesus is gonna say

it's none your business if you don't believe. You know, you know that's

on you. You know. He took the time and he answered the disciples

question. He answered Philip's question, but he answered it in a way that

he was like I'm I am one with the Father. Have you not been

with me so long that you still you know, God's have got a patience.

Hey man, I know He's been patient with me. What about you?

Has God been patient with you? Or this is just I'm just making

this up. I'm by myself. I'm the only Christian in the whole entire

universe. Now, there's many of us, and we have reasons to believe.

So does Jesus ask us to blindly place our faith in him? Just

blindly? Just just do it as if it's a popular thing, because you

already know in our eerror, on our time, during these years that we're

alive in is not a popular thing to be a christ follower. But listen,

I was never into trends, amen. Maybe before I got said,

I was into some trends that the world was offering, and you know,

just clothing and things like that, But I really never followed after the popular

trends. I wanted to make a difference somehow, someway. I wanted to

look different, I wanted to respond different. I wanted to be unique.

But Jesus is not asking us to put our faith in him blindly without any

reason, you know, he's not a god that's forcing us to believe in

him. He's giving us valid reasons. He's showing us creation every single day,

the moon, stars, the sun, the sky. Amen. And

you look at that, You're like, wow, this is amazing. On

your worst day, you can still see the stars in the moon, in

the sky. On your worst days, you still see the creation on your

worst days, the next days still comes Amen. Because God created it all

for purpose, and he did that, he spoke everything into resistence. So

I'm thinking, if God spoke the world into existence, he must have thought

it, because I don't know if we could speak. We could speak without

thinking sometimes, but we can't think with our words populating our mind and then

we speak. That's the way I think God created things, everything actually through

a thought and speech. Right. Did he give us any evidence to support

his claims to deity? Well, the most popular reason that we have as

believers that Jesus died and rose again. Amen to me. That's top of
