- 0:58Speaker 6: I didn't turn thirty over the week end. I did
- 1:00Speaker 6: go to a thirtieth, but I think it's absolutely naggated
- 1:03Speaker 6: like you two backbone, So looking forward to hearing more
- 1:05Speaker 6: about that. This time goes on, especially from pug Son
- 1:08Speaker 6: who's putting on a brave face. But I think it's
- 1:10Speaker 6: got about eight minutes left in it.
- 1:12Speaker 4: How are you feeling today, Pugs on birthday boy?
- 1:14Speaker 5: Hi guys, I'm well, thank you.
- 1:16Speaker 2: It was bloody good to have you there as well
- 1:18Speaker 2: over the weekend, so I appreciate that. I'm also just
- 1:20Speaker 2: like preemptively looking for all my stings because I know that.
- 1:23Speaker 4: The minute then I slip up.
- 1:25Speaker 5: It's all lies on old hungover Pugs.
- 1:27Speaker 6: To be fair man, you normally slip up in the
- 1:29Speaker 6: first break.
- 1:30Speaker 4: Actually, yeah, Pugs, I've got a bone to pick with you. O. Nah,
- 1:36Speaker 4: it's too early for that stuff. We've got a massive
- 1:38Speaker 4: show coming up though, feelers don't we Theremogi.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Yeah we do. That's a sting that I'm looking for.
- 1:47Speaker 6: Everything's going as it should, everything by.
- 1:52Speaker 5: The show with old Mugie.
- 1:57Speaker 6: Well as always. We've got a bloody huge Monday at
- 2:00Speaker 6: the back of a massive weekend of sport. There's a
- 2:02Speaker 6: bit of a result in the T twenty World Cup.
- 2:05Speaker 6: G Lane was there. We're going to talk to him
- 2:06Speaker 6: later on in the show. Also, we've got the brand
- 2:09Speaker 6: new segment, the incredible What's on the News with me
- 2:12Speaker 6: Keyzy And next up It's Unbelievable, Call your mates, call
- 2:17Speaker 6: your family, gather around the radio. She's a ripper. And
- 2:20Speaker 6: also up next we're going to be talking about Pugs's party.
- 2:23Speaker 6: We saw some photos on Instagram. Old Pugsn's eyes were
- 2:27Speaker 6: absolutely minogying out of his head, absolutely bulging. We want
- 2:33Speaker 6: to know was he on garin If so, what kind
- 2:35Speaker 6: up next?
- 2:37Speaker 1: Here's Bush on The Huckey Big Show, The Hurarchy Big
- 2:41Speaker 1: Show weekdays from four on Radio Hdarchy.
- 2:44Speaker 4: But a meuse there on The Hucky Big Show thirty
- 2:46Speaker 4: minutes past four this Monday afternoon with Keesy Moggi and
- 2:49Speaker 4: Pugsn Old houghdy j. He's off sick today, hopefully back
- 2:52Speaker 4: on board tomorrow. But Mogi. He did appear Saturday night
- 2:56Speaker 4: at Pugs's thirtieth birthday drinks.
- 3:00Speaker 6: Beautiful occasion it was, and what an honor to be invited. Obviously,
- 3:04Speaker 6: I've had I've had I've had a busy week fellas,
- 3:07Speaker 6: and it got to the night of the party and
- 3:09Speaker 6: I thought, jeez, I don't want to go. But at
- 3:11Speaker 6: the same time, I want to honor Pugs and what
- 3:13Speaker 6: he means to me. So I'm going to show up.
- 3:15Speaker 6: But I did think to myself, you know, how long
- 3:18Speaker 6: do I have to stay? Yeah? How long do I
- 3:20Speaker 6: have to be at this thing? How long am I
- 3:22Speaker 6: going to be appreciated it? Anyway? Given the fact that
- 3:25Speaker 6: I'm almost double the age of everybody else there, given
- 3:28Speaker 6: the fact that I'm not drinking at the moment, I'm
- 3:29Speaker 6: not on the darts, there's no point really having me there,
- 3:33Speaker 6: you know, turn up, get a photo and I can go, surely.
- 3:35Speaker 6: So I thought to myself, how quickly can I go?
- 3:38Speaker 6: So that was actually the objective I set out for myself.
- 3:42Speaker 6: I did a little video on the car. My aim
- 3:44Speaker 6: was that I was going to be in and out,
- 3:45Speaker 6: but in about ten minutes, Wow, could I get it?
- 3:48Speaker 6: Could I get in, press the flesh and leave and
- 3:52Speaker 6: have nobody noticed?
- 3:53Speaker 2: Now?
- 3:53Speaker 6: I was worried when I turned up at the bar
- 3:56Speaker 6: that it was a It was a difficult exit. I
- 3:58Speaker 6: was hoping that it'll be insight I'd never been to
- 4:00Speaker 6: this bar before. I was hoping i'd be able to
- 4:01Speaker 6: say I was going to the toilet and sneak out,
- 4:04Speaker 6: which actually, in hindsight, I could have because the toilet
- 4:07Speaker 6: was about one hundred meters away from it across the cart. Yeah,
- 4:09Speaker 6: it's an odd set up. So anyway, I got into
- 4:12Speaker 6: the bar and lo and behold, I was the first
- 4:15Speaker 6: one there seven o'clock on the dot.
- 4:17Speaker 4: Yeah, so seven pm was when you said you'd be
- 4:19Speaker 4: there from Mogi's there.
- 4:20Speaker 5: First, I recall pulling up in the uber.
- 4:23Speaker 6: Well, let me say I pulled out, I get in there,
- 4:26Speaker 6: there's absolutely nobody there, and I think to myself, you beauty.
- 4:31Speaker 6: I get a little video of the fact that nobody
- 4:33Speaker 6: is there, and then I am out the door heading
- 4:35Speaker 6: to my car and I'm leaving it. So well, I
- 4:36Speaker 6: turned up at the party at seven. There's nobody there,
- 4:39Speaker 6: So if you're not going to be at your own party,
- 4:40Speaker 6: why should I be there? And then old Pugs pulls up,
- 4:44Speaker 6: doesn't he right in front of me and gets out
- 4:45Speaker 6: of an uber and cuts me off at the pass.
- 4:47Speaker 6: So I ended up sticking around for about an hour
- 4:50Speaker 6: and a half.
- 4:51Speaker 2: I first of all, I made a bit in the
- 4:53Speaker 2: car on the way there that you would be the
- 4:54Speaker 2: first there and then the first to leave, because I
- 4:57Speaker 2: knew that was that would be the exact tech that
- 4:59Speaker 2: you go for. And it was lovely to see you
- 5:02Speaker 2: as I'm getting out of the Yuba. My family's also
- 5:04Speaker 2: arriving at the same time, so you really had no
- 5:06Speaker 2: way out. Yeah, that's right, And I was very grateful
- 5:09Speaker 2: that you stayed as long as you did. Truly, I
- 5:11Speaker 2: genuinely thought you would have been out in there in fifteen.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Well.
- 5:13Speaker 6: I really enjoyed it, actually it was. You know, you
- 5:15Speaker 6: get a couple of zero percent of beers in front
- 5:17Speaker 6: of you. You know, you've managed to track down a
- 5:19Speaker 6: guy that's got half a packet of dart to get
- 5:21Speaker 6: chatted to him. Yeah, so I was loving it. And
- 5:23Speaker 6: when you got out of the when you got out
- 5:26Speaker 6: of the Uber, the pigsn you cut absolutely beautiful, you know,
- 5:30Speaker 6: a suave figure, a smooth individual. You were. You got out,
- 5:34Speaker 6: you came over for a hug, and then your sunglasses
- 5:37Speaker 6: fell apart and fell on the ground in front of you.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the arm just snapped off far out a hug. Perfect,
- 5:43Speaker 2: isn't it funny? So Megie's got there early, He's got
- 5:46Speaker 2: there at seven on the dot. Yeah, he's stoked because
- 5:48Speaker 2: no one's there and he can leave. He then sees
- 5:51Speaker 2: you and your family and is gutted that he can't leave,
- 5:54Speaker 2: you know what I mean.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Yeah, it's an interesting cat.
- 5:57Speaker 6: Isn't strong enough a word?
- 5:58Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 5:59Speaker 6: Right? Absolutely?
- 6:01Speaker 4: I was yeah to have seen Pugs and his lovely
- 6:03Speaker 4: mom and dad and.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Sister, especially because you were the only guest at that
- 6:06Speaker 2: point for like another five to ten minutes, so it
- 6:08Speaker 2: was all about you, all the socializing ones.
- 6:11Speaker 6: But I think it sort of swung around for me
- 6:13Speaker 6: because me just say, Pegs, your your mother is a
- 6:16Speaker 6: is a lovely, lovely woman, A lovely woman.
- 6:20Speaker 4: She is.
- 6:22Speaker 6: I'm closer in age. I'm closer an age to her
- 6:25Speaker 6: than I am to you. So we've actually got a
- 6:28Speaker 6: lot in common, a lot.
- 6:31Speaker 5: Really is lovely but different.
- 6:32Speaker 4: Pugs, she's great.
- 6:35Speaker 6: You're lucky.
- 6:35Speaker 4: You're a lucky You're lucky man, Pugs, you're a lucky boy.
- 6:38Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, I'm lucky to have her as my mum.
- 6:40Speaker 4: Hey three four eight three. By the way, I'm interested
- 6:42Speaker 4: in the audience's opinion on this. Pugs's party started at
- 6:45Speaker 4: seven is at a bar? What time are you arriving? Yes,
- 6:49Speaker 4: seven pm? Okay that's when it starts. What time did
- 6:52Speaker 4: you get there. Well, I got there at seven thirty five, okay.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Some people turned up as late as eight. There was
- 6:59Speaker 2: somebody at nine right, and then you didn't really tell.
- 7:03Speaker 2: This was probably like nine nine thirty.
- 7:04Speaker 4: You didn't really turn up to your parents left though.
- 7:06Speaker 4: That's when you really turned it up. Three four h three,
- 7:08Speaker 4: what time would you arrive? Every text in the draw
- 7:10Speaker 4: for a Toledo's Prize pack which involves fifty dollars cash
- 7:14Speaker 4: as well worth doing is kNs Leon on The Hidcky
- 7:17Speaker 4: Big Show.
- 7:20Speaker 1: The Hurdiarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy. Tune
- 7:23Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hod.
- 7:25Speaker 4: Aching Hole on The Hidarcky Big Show twenty three minutes
- 7:28Speaker 4: past four o'clock this Monday afternoon, No Honey Jay to day,
- 7:31Speaker 4: he is under the weather. Hopefully back on Dick tomorrow.
- 7:34Speaker 4: You've got Keyesy Moggi and Pugs on though. And on
- 7:37Speaker 4: Saturday night it was Pugs's thirtieth birthday. Went to a
- 7:39Speaker 4: lovely bar here in Auckland. We were all invited. It
- 7:43Speaker 4: kicked off at seven pm sharp. That's when Pugs and
- 7:46Speaker 4: his family arrived. Mogi seven one is when Pugs and
- 7:50Speaker 4: his family arrived Moggi was MOGGI was there at seven pm.
- 7:54Speaker 4: You were the first one there.
- 7:55Speaker 6: I was on the dot. I was sitting in the
- 7:56Speaker 6: car waiting for the time to tack over to six
- 7:59Speaker 6: fifty nine, and then I judge my walk to be
- 8:01Speaker 6: a minute. I walked through the doors at seven on
- 8:03Speaker 6: the dock. Are you all goodbody there? And I was out.
- 8:06Speaker 6: I was out, and then Pegs turned up and so
- 8:10Speaker 6: I had to stay for an hour thirty six.
- 8:12Speaker 4: Yeah, which is, to be honest, a pretty good shift.
- 8:15Speaker 4: And I had to explain this to my wife because
- 8:17Speaker 4: I was saying to her it starts at seven, and
- 8:19Speaker 4: so her thing is, you never want to get their
- 8:21Speaker 4: bang on seven. You want to you want to give
- 8:23Speaker 4: it fifteen to thirty minutes, depending on.
- 8:24Speaker 2: What it is.
- 8:25Speaker 4: And so she was like, maybe we'll, you know, we'll
- 8:28Speaker 4: have dinner and then we'll leave our place at seven,
- 8:30Speaker 4: get a park, you know, half an hour sort of late.
- 8:34Speaker 4: And I was like, no, no, we have to get
- 8:35Speaker 4: there at seven. She's like why and I'm like, because
- 8:37Speaker 4: Moggi will have left by seven to thirty.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:40Speaker 4: And also I was like and Hoidy j as well,
- 8:42Speaker 4: because he was you know, he had his best sneans
- 8:44Speaker 4: On and he was there looking sharp. We arrived at
- 8:47Speaker 4: seven point thirty and as we're walking down the car
- 8:50Speaker 4: park towards the party, Hoidy j gets out of a
- 8:52Speaker 4: seat and walks down halfway to meet us. About thirty
- 8:55Speaker 4: minutes away from the party. Meets us, going, what time
- 8:58Speaker 4: do you call this?
- 8:59Speaker 6: Yeah? Seven thirty pm, that's right if I remember correctly,
- 9:03Speaker 6: pugs On, you got a message from Keysy to around
- 9:05Speaker 6: about seven twenty seven twenty five saying, oh, Kezy, you'll
- 9:09Speaker 6: be here in five or ten. I was thinking to
- 9:10Speaker 6: myself five or ten too late. I'm out.
- 9:13Speaker 5: My mum was livid?
- 9:17Speaker 4: Was she? I can't imagine her livid. I can imagine
- 9:20Speaker 4: her a lot of things, pugs but not livid.
- 9:22Speaker 6: Yeah, I imagine all sorts of things, but not livid
- 9:25Speaker 6: about my mum, about your mum.
- 9:27Speaker 2: For me, if it's a if it's a party with
- 9:30Speaker 2: his multiple people, I'll probably go fifteen to thirty, fifteen
- 9:34Speaker 2: to thirty at most forty five. If it's a really
- 9:36Speaker 2: big thing, yeah, and I'm usually running late. But if
- 9:40Speaker 2: it's a for example, the dinner party for come Down
- 9:42Speaker 2: with the Failers, that was like a bad time yeah.
- 9:45Speaker 5: Because that's an intimate setting us.
- 9:47Speaker 6: This was not that.
- 9:48Speaker 4: And also i'd say, Pugs, if I was one of
- 9:50Speaker 4: your best mates, right, you know we're good friends, but
- 9:52Speaker 4: I'm not one of your best friends, and it was
- 9:55Speaker 4: If I was, I would be there seven on the dot.
- 9:58Speaker 6: Yeah, you know what I mean, which is why I
- 9:59Speaker 6: got at seven on them. Oh yeah, because I wanted
- 10:02Speaker 6: a little bit of special time with your best mate, Pugs.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Yeah, and.
- 10:06Speaker 6: I don't want you to stop. Let's not forget about
- 10:09Speaker 6: your mum.
- 10:10Speaker 5: What's that?
- 10:11Speaker 4: A lot of ticks here on three four eight three
- 10:13Speaker 4: fellers in terms of what time you would arrive at
- 10:15Speaker 4: a bar if it starts at seven pm. This one
- 10:18Speaker 4: comes from Hamish seven thirty maybe eight, home by eleven
- 10:22Speaker 4: unless it's going off.
- 10:23Speaker 6: So have that.
- 10:24Speaker 4: But I can't imagine a world where I'm planning what
- 10:26Speaker 4: is that the thing that happens once you have kids
- 10:28Speaker 4: or something?
- 10:28Speaker 6: Do you plan that? That sounds like somebody who's my
- 10:30Speaker 6: age one hundred percent, somebody who sees our home by eleven.
- 10:33Speaker 6: If I'm going out, there is no end time on it.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Generally right to be fair, staying until eleven implies that
- 10:43Speaker 2: it's kind of going off already. Like I thought, if
- 10:45Speaker 2: you were leaving early, eleven seems pretty late to go.
- 10:49Speaker 6: I would have expected that somebody's thirtieth would go to
- 10:51Speaker 6: at least eleven.
- 10:53Speaker 2: No, not saying for him, he's saying home by eleven.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Unless it's going off. I'm like, gee whiz, like you're
- 10:59Speaker 2: giving it a good get what I mean, it's good?
- 11:03Speaker 6: Yeah, eleven's I think eleven's reasonable. That's a fear league,
- 11:07Speaker 6: that's an And if you're planning to leave it eleven,
- 11:09Speaker 6: you're still under control. Yeah, because if I'm drinking an
- 11:13Speaker 6: X amount of beers per hour from seven to eleven,
- 11:16Speaker 6: then by the time I get to eleven, I'm thinking,
- 11:18Speaker 6: just take this all the way.
- 11:19Speaker 4: Man, let's keep going. This person sounds like a riot.
- 11:25Speaker 4: I'll be there seven first, their last to leave. Yes,
- 11:28Speaker 4: that's good. That's the kind of person you want. Actually,
- 11:30Speaker 4: it's interesting when you when you get married, Pugs, and
- 11:33Speaker 4: this will be happening soon for you. When you get
- 11:36Speaker 4: married and you pay for a band or a DJ
- 11:38Speaker 4: and you've got a dance floor going, you want those friends.
- 11:41Speaker 4: You realize that you need those friends who are going
- 11:43Speaker 4: to be constantly on the dance floor. Constantly getting stuck out.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Keeping the energy going and die. Yeah, that's super valuable.
- 11:49Speaker 4: And what you don't want is like down bows, people
- 11:51Speaker 4: ruining the vibe, which is why I didn't invite Mike
- 11:52Speaker 4: and Jays.
- 11:54Speaker 1: The whole king Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 11:57Speaker 6: Tune in.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Some cake on the Hducky Big Show. There's four thirty
- 12:03Speaker 4: five this Monday afternoon with Keezy, Mogi and Pugsn. Let's
- 12:05Speaker 4: chat Warriors. Time to chat footy with me. Keezy one
- 12:12Speaker 4: of the Warriors up to I'll tell you what the
- 12:15Speaker 4: Warriors have been up to. They've been bloody down at
- 12:18Speaker 4: Mount Smart there Go Media Stadium, putting on an absolute
- 12:21Speaker 4: clinic against the Sydney Roosters. The score was forty two
- 12:26Speaker 4: points to eighteen Mogi. Yes, that is against a team
- 12:29Speaker 4: from Sydney, one of the glamour clubs. People joke about
- 12:32Speaker 4: them not having a salary cap. They have a salary sombrero.
- 12:34Speaker 4: That is how many big names they have.
- 12:36Speaker 6: That's how many Pogson you get that man, that's.
- 12:39Speaker 5: A big salary sombrero. Yes, that's kind of racist.
- 12:42Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm I sort of bag it up there. Well,
- 12:44Speaker 6: I didn't sort of I absolutely did. I made arrangements
- 12:48Speaker 6: or somebody got in touch and said can I come
- 12:50Speaker 6: over for dinner on Friday nights? Absolutely? Man, I got
- 12:52Speaker 6: nothing on and then, of course remembered like two days
- 12:55Speaker 6: later the wars were playing. Was happy to see the
- 12:58Speaker 6: person managed to get the last minutes of the game.
- 13:01Speaker 6: Didn't check the score at any point, which was really good,
- 13:06Speaker 6: and I got to see another twelve points get pulled on.
- 13:09Speaker 6: But obviously gadded to have missed it, and I haven't
- 13:11Speaker 6: had a chance to watch a replay either. What I
- 13:13Speaker 6: want to know from you, Keasy, is how's Tanner Boyd looking?
- 13:17Speaker 4: Well?
- 13:17Speaker 6: From what I saw, he was digging into the line
- 13:20Speaker 6: and running, which is what we need. And I hope
- 13:22Speaker 6: that's a sign of things to come.
- 13:23Speaker 4: One hundred percent. And sure the Roosters weren't on fire
- 13:27Speaker 4: at all. Really bad discipline, right, and so they kept
- 13:30Speaker 4: getting penalized. It was a complain rate, ah, pretty iffy
- 13:34Speaker 4: because they yeah, they weren't the best at all, that
- 13:36Speaker 4: they didn't look like the Roosters, but they kept complaining
- 13:38Speaker 4: and complaining. Meanwhile, the Warriors stayed clinical. And I'll be honest,
- 13:42Speaker 4: the first ten minutes Tanner Boyd missed a couple of
- 13:44Speaker 4: kicks a goal and and I was just like, oh
- 13:47Speaker 4: and his kicks were okay, like in play kicking as
- 13:50Speaker 4: oh no, And then he just threw a dummy run
- 13:53Speaker 4: at the line scored a trials. I had about our
- 13:55Speaker 4: harves don't do that. Yeah, and then he pretty much
- 13:58Speaker 4: controlled the entire game. His kicking game was awesome. Him
- 14:02Speaker 4: just running the ship. That was the best game I've
- 14:04Speaker 4: ever seen him play in the NRAL. Yeah, and we be.
- 14:06Speaker 6: Agreed that was the best best game that he'd seen
- 14:08Speaker 6: him play as well, because he.
- 14:09Speaker 4: Played for the Titans for a long time and he
- 14:11Speaker 4: was fine. He was always coming off the bench and
- 14:12Speaker 4: covering hooker and in the halves and blah blah. But
- 14:14Speaker 4: that was he was running the ship. Loved the combo
- 14:18Speaker 4: of Roger Tui vasa check on the left side and
- 14:21Speaker 4: Chanelle Harris Savita. Those two were backing each other up
- 14:24Speaker 4: and we were involved with two excellent tries. Our defense
- 14:29Speaker 4: on the goal line was awesome. Delan Watines Liz Neck
- 14:32Speaker 4: was not jamming in Ali Lata. I can't tackle though, yeah,
- 14:37Speaker 4: but I mean he's young, hopefully he'll get better. He's
- 14:39Speaker 4: good on attack but honestly, it was such a great
- 14:43Speaker 4: performance and I'm so fizzed up.
- 14:45Speaker 6: Yeah, well that's the thing, isn't it now? You know,
- 14:46Speaker 6: like first round last year we got hammered by Camber,
- 14:49Speaker 6: everybody said we were contenders for the Wooden Spoon. But
- 14:51Speaker 6: now that we've won the first game of the year
- 14:53Speaker 6: and so convintently, book your tickets as we're off to
- 14:56Speaker 6: the Grand Vinyl. On that Tanner Boyd thing where he
- 15:01Speaker 6: was talking after the game too, I get the vibe
- 15:05Speaker 6: that there's nothing ruling out the potential for Luky Mett
- 15:08Speaker 6: and Tanner Boyd to be playing six and seven. I
- 15:11Speaker 6: think what's been that's according to Webster, But what's been
- 15:13Speaker 6: missing from Tanner Boyd His game is the run.
- 15:17Speaker 4: The running game, where as Luke.
- 15:19Speaker 6: Metcalf doesn't really have the game control that Tanner Boyd does.
- 15:23Speaker 6: So I'm glad that Tanner Boyd is going to be
- 15:26Speaker 6: is running more. I hope that happens every single week
- 15:29Speaker 6: because to me, even though everyone was raving about Metcalf
- 15:33Speaker 6: last year, I didn't really understand the buzz now, you know,
- 15:36Speaker 6: as quite a few people that felt the same way
- 15:39Speaker 6: as me, I didn't understand where everyone was raving about him.
- 15:41Speaker 4: Well, the thing Metcalf does is run really well. Yes,
- 15:44Speaker 4: but he has Yeah, he doesn't control the game at all.
- 15:47Speaker 4: He was getting better at it, yes, and then got
- 15:48Speaker 4: injured because it wasn't his natural position. But I think
- 15:51Speaker 4: the pairing of those two are awesome. But to be honest,
- 15:53Speaker 4: Shanaro Harris Savita was excellent. Yeah, so for him not
- 15:57Speaker 4: to be in the like, it's a good problem to have.
- 16:00Speaker 6: We want has lots of competition in those spots. I'm
- 16:03Speaker 6: bloody sorry to get to what end canbra this week
- 16:05Speaker 6: after a Rapper game they played over the weekend. I'm
- 16:08Speaker 6: a big fan of camera, so yeah, I can't wait
- 16:11Speaker 6: for that game this Friday night.
- 16:12Speaker 4: Yeah, this Friday night, Worries taking on the Raiders eight pm.
- 16:15Speaker 4: We will be down in hook A ticker there hopefully
- 16:17Speaker 4: watching it at one of the local pubs. If you
- 16:19Speaker 4: are in the area for the Wild Food Fest, make
- 16:21Speaker 4: sure you come on.
- 16:22Speaker 6: Dees Ah Rockin' Bastard.
- 16:27Speaker 1: This is Black Keys The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from
- 16:31Speaker 1: four on Radio hod Ike.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Carry him on The Hidarcky Big Show thirteen minutes to
- 16:35Speaker 4: five this Monday afternoon with Kezy Moogi and Pugshan. Let's
- 16:38Speaker 4: Chat TV What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 16:47Speaker 6: Yeah, I watched the last two episodes of Small Town
- 16:53Speaker 6: Scandal starring Tom Sainsbury on Neon. There's eighty episode and
- 17:00Speaker 6: it's a comedy. It's a who Done it? He's creating
- 17:02Speaker 6: a It was based on a podcast that he released.
- 17:05Speaker 6: He's done three seasons of that now. I think, very funny,
- 17:09Speaker 6: very good. I think its heights were the first few episodes,
- 17:13Speaker 6: I think, but still funny all the way toward the end.
- 17:17Speaker 6: And it's a pretty out of it show like that.
- 17:20Speaker 6: You never see who's coming you rarely with the old
- 17:24Speaker 6: the Murderer, And I'd listen to the podcast and I
- 17:28Speaker 6: was like, I think it's I think it's such and such,
- 17:31Speaker 6: and that was who it turned out to be. Yeah,
- 17:34Speaker 6: but it's still a hell of a surprise.
- 17:36Speaker 4: Yeah, And I just love that it's I've mentioned this
- 17:39Speaker 4: before on the show. It's that sort of mixture of
- 17:41Speaker 4: like it's a murder mystery, pretty gruesome murder mixed with humor.
- 17:45Speaker 4: It's almost like Short of the Dead or Hot Fuzz.
- 17:48Speaker 4: How they'll tap into some gruesome and then it's been
- 17:50Speaker 4: like made back, funny and wacky characters.
- 17:52Speaker 6: And some some Well, first of all, let me say
- 17:55Speaker 6: it's great writing, because you can't have actors that you
- 17:58Speaker 6: think are doing a great job when the writings terrible.
- 18:00Speaker 6: So kurdos to all the writers on that show. But
- 18:03Speaker 6: Tom Sainsbury, morgana O'Reilly, the guy that plays the cop
- 18:07Speaker 6: whose name I don't know, who's very very good as well.
- 18:10Speaker 6: Robert Lloyd, who's the sergeant, the older cop. Yeah, he's
- 18:13Speaker 6: very fu the mother, which is Felicity Kendall. I love
- 18:17Speaker 6: the fact that as he gets more and more stressed out.
- 18:21Speaker 6: I'm pretty sure I'd have to see the earlier episodes.
- 18:23Speaker 6: But Tom Sainsbury, the character is just eating heaps of
- 18:27Speaker 6: shit food, sausage rolls. He is just stuff in his
- 18:31Speaker 6: face as he's getting more and more stressed out as
- 18:33Speaker 6: the episodes progress. Yeah, and his mother just telling him
- 18:37Speaker 6: constantly to stay out of the fridge. That's just that's
- 18:40Speaker 6: good stuff to tell a forty five year old dude
- 18:42Speaker 6: to stay out of the fridge. Really really good. I
- 18:45Speaker 6: give it four busies. Highly recommend it's on Neon is
- 18:48Speaker 6: small Town scandal yep.
- 18:49Speaker 4: I can curre my wife and I loved it. Yes,
- 18:51Speaker 4: pug Son, you don't get many opportunities to chat TV mate,
- 18:54Speaker 4: have at it.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Hi, guys, last night, when I was on the couch
- 18:58Speaker 2: after my thirty's bow on Saturday, I chose to watch
- 19:02Speaker 2: Giemo del Toro's Frankenstein and Jacob Lordi Oscar ISAACX what's.
- 19:08Speaker 5: His name from Inglorious Bastard's.
- 19:12Speaker 6: As well the hostral.
- 19:14Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, he's in it as well. I love the idea.
- 19:19Speaker 5: I love Giamo del Toro, I love hell Boy, I
- 19:21Speaker 5: love that's my favorite full time.
- 19:26Speaker 2: He's known for these beautiful fantasy worlds that he builds in,
- 19:29Speaker 2: his epic prosthetics and his great character creation.
- 19:32Speaker 5: Very very creative guy.
- 19:34Speaker 2: This movie looked pretty cool, but it's really not selling
- 19:38Speaker 2: it to me.
- 19:39Speaker 5: It's really not doing it for me. I feel like
- 19:41Speaker 5: I don't know what it is.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I feel like they don't know whether they want to
- 19:43Speaker 2: go completely theatrical, like some sort of Sweeny Todd job,
- 19:47Speaker 2: or if they want to like make it more a
- 19:49Speaker 2: movie ish. But it's sitting somewhere in the middle and
- 19:51Speaker 2: it can't commit. It feels like it's got very broad appeal.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Jacob Lordey's great, sure but I'm looking at the guy
- 19:58Speaker 2: who's supposed to be Franken's signs Jacob and lording right,
- 20:02Speaker 2: maybe that's a casting issue.
- 20:03Speaker 4: That's what I said. Remember we were watching June two, yeah,
- 20:06Speaker 4: and it was like, it's really cool, but oh, this
- 20:09Speaker 4: Austin Butler is the bad guy right and the vibe
- 20:12Speaker 4: they used two bigger name or two well known faces
- 20:15Speaker 4: in these particularly bit more unrecognizable.
- 20:18Speaker 6: Yeah, I think, yeah, it's interesting, it's just not I mean,
- 20:22Speaker 6: they are always going to be actors that you know.
- 20:24Speaker 6: I mean, I know what you mean with him, because
- 20:26Speaker 6: I like, I like the early stuff of GMO, Del Toro.
- 20:29Speaker 6: The Shape of Water did really well and got to
- 20:31Speaker 6: love the Academy Woods, and I did not enjoy that
- 20:33Speaker 6: film in the slightest couldn't. I saw it, But I
- 20:36Speaker 6: really liked from him Crimson peak, which is which is great.
- 20:42Speaker 6: But my consume with Frankensin and we were going to
- 20:43Speaker 6: watch it over the weekend, but I had to be
- 20:45Speaker 6: in bed and do a bit of work and so
- 20:48Speaker 6: I didn't quite get to it. But my concern is
- 20:50Speaker 6: always just the duration and and I hate a I
- 20:55Speaker 6: hate a flashback. Am I understanding is that you hear one.
- 20:58Speaker 6: You hear the story through the eyes of one of
- 21:00Speaker 6: the characters, and then it gets to a point and
- 21:02Speaker 6: goes right, now, let's here see all of that stuff again,
- 21:05Speaker 6: but from a different character.
- 21:06Speaker 5: Oh god, yeah, put it this way.
- 21:08Speaker 2: I've got like forty five minutes left a partner and
- 21:11Speaker 2: I not cracking, and I'd probably give it like three,
- 21:15Speaker 2: if not two point eight.
- 21:16Speaker 6: Sounds under for me. Three years a recommend. Okay, the
- 21:19Speaker 6: way you were talking it so you're saying and a half, Yeah,
- 21:23Speaker 6: I'll be interesting to see.
- 21:24Speaker 4: Two and a half busies out of five Frankenstein. That's
- 21:27Speaker 4: Puggs's review on Netflix.
- 21:28Speaker 6: There.
- 21:29Speaker 4: Netflix, Netflix, It's up for Best Picture. By the way, right,
- 21:34Speaker 4: what do we know? Here's Weezer.
- 21:36Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Keezy tune
- 21:39Speaker 1: in four.
- 21:41Speaker 4: On Radio Weezer on the Hidarky Big Show five minutes
- 21:44Speaker 4: to five this Monday afternoon with Keezy, Moggi and pugsn
- 21:47Speaker 4: and coming up after five o'clock there feelers, We're gonna
- 21:50Speaker 4: check to g Lane, who flew straight over to India
- 21:53Speaker 4: to witness the Black Caps against India in the T
- 21:56Speaker 4: twenty Wheel Cup Final. Yeah, didn't go so well, and
- 21:59Speaker 4: I believe he's just at the start of his transit
- 22:01Speaker 4: back home. Long journey, so.
- 22:04Speaker 6: Long journey with a with a loss fresh in the memory.
- 22:08Speaker 4: Yeah, So hopefully he'll be demoralized. We'll have a chat
- 22:10Speaker 4: to him. Also, we're gonna we've gotta sort of I
- 22:15Speaker 4: want to pick Moggi's brain. Yeah, Okay, because he's he's
- 22:18Speaker 4: the master of working, right, He's always like, oh, blah blah,
- 22:21Speaker 4: I was doing this doing a bit of work. It
- 22:22Speaker 4: doesn't matter where he was. He was doing a bit
- 22:24Speaker 4: of work on his laptop or something. So I want
- 22:26Speaker 4: to give you a whole lot of scenarios and you'll
- 22:27Speaker 4: explain to me how you'd get away with doing a
- 22:29Speaker 4: bit of work.
- 22:29Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Can I just say, of course, it's Moggi on the
- 22:33Speaker 2: show that's got a reputation, and it's for working. Of
- 22:36Speaker 2: all the things that all of us on the show
- 22:38Speaker 2: have reputations for, has.
- 22:39Speaker 4: His working for working? Why what's my reputation getting steamed?
- 22:43Speaker 4: Being a legend, having giant nipples, such great stuff. That's
- 22:46Speaker 4: all coming up after five o'clock.
- 22:50Speaker 1: The hold Aking Big Show with Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 22:54Speaker 1: in week days and four on radio. Hold act, Yes,
- 22:56Speaker 1: get a your massive backbones.
- 22:58Speaker 4: It is the ninth of March two tho in twenty
- 23:00Speaker 4: six a Monday afternoon. You've got Kezy Moggi and Pugsan
- 23:03Speaker 4: Hordy jas Off sick. However, the big show is, of
- 23:06Speaker 4: course still brought to you by Toledos.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Rehydrate the right way with Toledos real ingredients and natural colors.
- 23:12Speaker 6: We're going to get that from Kezy. Where can I
- 23:14Speaker 6: get my hands on the Toledos? That's what I need
- 23:16Speaker 6: to know, because I'm hearing on this great chair about Toledo's.
- 23:19Speaker 4: But where do I get it? Yeah, that's a good question.
- 23:22Speaker 5: Mogi.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Are you in the market for sort of like a
- 23:25Speaker 4: natural e literally like drink? Are you I just need
- 23:26Speaker 4: something that's good for the kids as well? Yeah, okay,
- 23:29Speaker 4: you know what you want to do? Write this down.
- 23:31Speaker 4: Have you got blue flavor? Yeah, there's blue flavor. There's
- 23:34Speaker 4: citrus and grape and tropical m you know Fresh Choice, Yeah,
- 23:39Speaker 4: supo like blue Yeah?
- 23:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:41Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 23:41Speaker 4: So you can get toledos from every single Fresh Choice
- 23:44Speaker 4: across New Zealand. They're in the process of rolling them
- 23:46Speaker 4: out in more places too, New Worlds, for example, Devinport, Kumau,
- 23:49Speaker 4: Palmsa North, Papakuta, puk your coy to Kofu, to Wauku
- 23:52Speaker 4: and pack and save Mill Street, Hamilton, New Plymouth and
- 23:54Speaker 4: pook a coy and they're rolling the mounts.
- 23:56Speaker 6: Can I make a suggestion here, alive on the radio
- 23:58Speaker 6: and with no preparation door when it's just excellent, take
- 24:02Speaker 6: a photo of yourself with the toledos, you holding the toledos,
- 24:06Speaker 6: Take that photo, tag the big show in there on
- 24:08Speaker 6: Instagram and you are in the jorder. When fifty dollars
- 24:12Speaker 6: of Toledo's hot hot cash. And when I say Toledo's cash,
- 24:16Speaker 6: what I mean is just cash.
- 24:17Speaker 5: It's just thanks to leave that.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Yeah, yah?
- 24:19Speaker 6: Should we do that? Well?
- 24:20Speaker 4: I feel like fifty dollars is enough. I feel like
- 24:22Speaker 4: it needs to be like ten thousand dollars.
- 24:23Speaker 6: No, I agree. So if you do it to me twenty,
- 24:27Speaker 6: if you do it two hundred times, well you two
- 24:30Speaker 6: thousand times and you'd be sweet.
- 24:31Speaker 4: Okay, So Pugs Rick, can you get ask them for
- 24:33Speaker 4: ten grand?
- 24:33Speaker 2: So sorry you're saying every time someone takes one automatically, yeah, cash,
- 24:39Speaker 2: you'll do it.
- 24:39Speaker 5: I'll clear that up. You will, Yeah, yeah, I'll sort
- 24:42Speaker 5: it out, all right, I'll let you know what I do.
- 24:44Speaker 4: That's good because we're kind of joking around. But if
- 24:45Speaker 4: you can actually do it, that's awesome. Well you heard
- 24:48Speaker 4: it here. First take a photo, Bro's send it to Pugs.
- 24:51Speaker 4: He will give you fifty dollars personally.
- 24:53Speaker 5: Not what I said.
- 24:54Speaker 4: That is exactly what he just said. Fellers. Coming up
- 24:57Speaker 4: a little later on, we're gonna be Yarn with g
- 24:59Speaker 4: Lane who's over in India. In the meantime, some Key
- 25:01Speaker 4: we are Sheehart covering split Ins on the Radio Hurcky
- 25:04Speaker 4: Big Show.
- 25:05Speaker 1: The Huriarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Keyzy Tune
- 25:08Speaker 1: in four on Radio as but.
- 25:11Speaker 4: A Green Day on the Hurducky Big Show eleven minutes
- 25:13Speaker 4: past five this Monday afternoon with Keezy, Mggi and pugsun Hoodie.
- 25:17Speaker 4: Jay is sick. Hopefully he'll be back on deck tomorrow.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Now it's an exciting week for us Fellers. This Thursday,
- 25:23Speaker 4: we'll be doing a live show from Critic Bar at
- 25:26Speaker 4: Richmond Club in christ Church, so make sure you come
- 25:29Speaker 4: down you join us there. It's going to be bloody brilliant.
- 25:32Speaker 4: On the Friday, we are then riding the Transalpine train
- 25:35Speaker 4: across the Alps there over to Hooker Ticket, which is
- 25:37Speaker 4: bloody exciting. Now, something people might know about you, Megi,
- 25:41Speaker 4: is that you work a lot.
- 25:42Speaker 6: I do some work.
- 25:43Speaker 4: You do a lot of work. So you've got the
- 25:44Speaker 4: big show. You've also got another business that you run.
- 25:47Speaker 4: And that quite often means that you get home, you
- 25:49Speaker 4: work all day, you come to radio, you do more work,
- 25:50Speaker 4: and then when you get home, you have dinner and
- 25:52Speaker 4: you do a bit of work. That's right, and so
- 25:54Speaker 4: I figured, but then I get to onun relax on
- 25:57Speaker 4: the weekend. I relax really a little bit of work
- 26:00Speaker 4: and get up, do a little bit of work, and
- 26:01Speaker 4: then sitt a little bit of work all day and
- 26:03Speaker 4: then oh nice, go yeah cool. And that's when you relaxes.
- 26:07Speaker 4: When you're unconscious.
- 26:08Speaker 6: I'm unconscious. They'll wake up with the middle of the
- 26:09Speaker 6: night and think about a little bit of work. Yeah,
- 26:11Speaker 6: go back to slowly, get up, do a little bit
- 26:13Speaker 6: of work.
- 26:13Speaker 4: What a way to be man. And so what I
- 26:16Speaker 4: thought was, as as someone who's not known for his
- 26:18Speaker 4: work ethic, I thought I'd pick your brain, because you're
- 26:21Speaker 4: very good at squeezing a little bit of work into
- 26:23Speaker 4: various scenarios. Yea, So what we'll do is PUGS and
- 26:26Speaker 4: I've written down a few scenarios each. We'll sort of
- 26:29Speaker 4: hit you with them, and then you explained to us
- 26:31Speaker 4: how you would go about doing a little bit of
- 26:32Speaker 4: work in that scenario.
- 26:33Speaker 6: Do your scenarios include you anything to do with your
- 26:36Speaker 6: mother at all?
- 26:36Speaker 5: Packs my was Nan put down mum on my.
- 26:41Speaker 6: Because perfectly, well start with you then, CAZy.
- 26:44Speaker 4: Okay, all right, so I mentioned the trans al plane train, yes,
- 26:49Speaker 4: five hour journey, which we're doing on Friday. How would
- 26:51Speaker 4: you set yourself up to do a bit of work
- 26:53Speaker 4: on the trans al pant.
- 26:54Speaker 6: Well, that'll be easy because I'd have a few scripts
- 26:56Speaker 6: to read. I run a talent agency, so I'd be
- 26:57Speaker 6: reading a few scripts. So I just because there's going
- 27:00Speaker 6: to be no internet at the pugsund so I've already
- 27:03Speaker 6: asked the train driver about that. Is in that terrible coverage,
- 27:05Speaker 6: you can forget about it. So I read a few scripts.
- 27:08Speaker 4: Okay, So you're just reading a few scripts on your laptop.
- 27:10Speaker 4: Do you need to take calls or anything?
- 27:11Speaker 6: No, I won't be able to take any calls because
- 27:12Speaker 6: I'll be on the I'll be on the train. There's
- 27:14Speaker 6: no coverage. Yeah, okay, so no calls, okay, just a
- 27:17Speaker 6: bit a relaxing time, just reading a few scripts.
- 27:19Speaker 4: That sounds great.
- 27:21Speaker 5: I wondered what I mean starting off of the challenging one.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Say you you like to go to the movie's Mogi
- 27:27Speaker 2: if you needed to get a bit of work done,
- 27:30Speaker 2: but you had a million I just.
- 27:32Speaker 6: Have my laptop there and you just slightly dimmed the
- 27:34Speaker 6: screen the movie theater or the laptop on my laptop.
- 27:38Speaker 6: You don't want to disturb the people around you. And
- 27:40Speaker 6: phone calls just hands free.
- 27:42Speaker 4: Right, Because that's the annoying part is when you've got
- 27:44Speaker 4: your hands on the phone at a movie theater. For
- 27:47Speaker 4: the chats, all good as long as it's hands free.
- 27:49Speaker 6: I try and keep it short and shut. But sometimes
- 27:51Speaker 6: you got to take a call.
- 27:52Speaker 4: Yeah okay, sort of halfway through a movie you're watching it,
- 27:54Speaker 4: then you just hear Mogi go here he is hello. Yeah, okay,
- 27:58Speaker 4: good as gold mate.
- 28:00Speaker 2: But also it's really annoying when you're at the movies
- 28:02Speaker 2: and you can see the brightness and your periphery from
- 28:04Speaker 2: the phone screen, So the screen means there's no brightness.
- 28:06Speaker 4: From the phone. No, that's right, Okay, that's really good.
- 28:08Speaker 4: And what work are you doing? There? Is that reading
- 28:10Speaker 4: on emails?
- 28:11Speaker 6: It's probably tapping away on the emails there. Yeah, but
- 28:13Speaker 6: I'm a bit of a touch typer.
- 28:15Speaker 4: Okay, you're very quiet like this? Oh well that is quiet?
- 28:18Speaker 4: What a movie?
- 28:23Speaker 2: Fuck?
- 28:25Speaker 6: Delete, delete, delete, deleak. Yeah. Nice. And then then I
- 28:28Speaker 6: look because when I type, I look at my fingers,
- 28:30Speaker 6: and then when I look up at the screen, I've
- 28:31Speaker 6: been in caps lock for about forty five minutes. Good
- 28:34Speaker 6: ships even yelling, So then I'll be e and geffin. Okay,
- 28:37Speaker 6: so that's good stuff, pugs.
- 28:39Speaker 4: What about this? It's it's you go up for dinner
- 28:42Speaker 4: with your wife twins winning anniversary.
- 28:44Speaker 6: I scope out the restaurant before I get there, right.
- 28:47Speaker 6: The first thing I do is I go to the
- 28:48Speaker 6: bathroom and I stashed my laptop and behind the toilet,
- 28:52Speaker 6: right behind the system, behind the cistern there. So then
- 28:55Speaker 6: I just say to the wife, I've just got to
- 28:56Speaker 6: pop into the toilet and do a little bit of paperwork.
- 28:58Speaker 6: If you do it so strictly, I'm not lying. Then
- 29:00Speaker 6: I get in there and I'm just pounding away on
- 29:02Speaker 6: my keyboard.
- 29:04Speaker 4: Coll what how long are you in there for it could.
- 29:06Speaker 6: Be thirty to forty minutes, three to four times an evening, right, okay, yeah,
- 29:09Speaker 6: this is my twentieth winding anniversary.
- 29:11Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, cool, that's yeah, it's amazing because it's amazing
- 29:14Speaker 4: how you can do both. Yeah, neither suffers.
- 29:18Speaker 5: I got I got one more hair cycling home from work.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Obviously you do that every day. That's that's valuable time.
- 29:26Speaker 2: That could be You could be say you were commuting
- 29:28Speaker 2: on a bus, Yeah, you'd have time to get the
- 29:29Speaker 2: laptop out, but obviously you'll push bike. Mogi, How are
- 29:32Speaker 2: you getting work done if you're on the bike?
- 29:34Speaker 6: I ride no hands. I rode no handed. And I've
- 29:37Speaker 6: got one of those one of those elastic stretches, you know,
- 29:42Speaker 6: bungee cord, bungee cord, And I have one of those
- 29:44Speaker 6: wrapped around my neck and that's attached to my laptop
- 29:46Speaker 6: and I'm just I'm just pounding away.
- 29:49Speaker 4: Yeah right, okay. And you've got have you got like
- 29:51Speaker 4: a bluetooth head piece in or anything like that so
- 29:52Speaker 4: you can take call for.
- 29:53Speaker 6: My conversations and that. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, I get a
- 29:56Speaker 6: lot of work done. Man. There's a lot of time
- 29:57Speaker 6: wasted by people on bikes that aren't on their laptops.
- 30:00Speaker 6: Have you seen that?
- 30:00Speaker 4: Yeah? Idiots. Mostly it's amazing stuff thanks to that Megi,
- 30:05Speaker 4: amazing insight. What about your daughter's parent teacher evening? Ah,
- 30:10Speaker 4: your daughter's parent teacher evening.
- 30:11Speaker 6: Oh that's easy, I don't go.
- 30:13Speaker 4: Yeah, jeez. Frans put it out on The Hucky Big Show.
- 30:18Speaker 1: The Hurdiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodky.
- 30:22Speaker 4: It is the Offspring on the Hudicky Big Show twenty
- 30:24Speaker 4: five minutes past five o'clock this Monday afternoon with Kezy
- 30:27Speaker 4: Meggy and Pugs and Hoody Jay. He's under the weather,
- 30:29Speaker 4: hopefully back on deck tomorrow. He will, of course be
- 30:32Speaker 4: back on deck this coming Thursday. Fellas. We're hopping on
- 30:35Speaker 4: an aeroplane flying down to christ Church. There a bit
- 30:38Speaker 4: of a build up for the Wild Foods Festival. We
- 30:41Speaker 4: are going to be doing a live show four or
- 30:43Speaker 4: seven the Richmond Club at the Critic Bar there and
- 30:47Speaker 4: then on the Friday catching the transaal Pine over the Alps.
- 30:50Speaker 4: I can't wait for.
- 30:52Speaker 6: And I've never been on a on a long train ride,
- 30:56Speaker 6: you know, like on a decent train. I'm hoping that
- 30:58Speaker 6: it's got marriages. We can buy food and all that
- 31:02Speaker 6: sort of stuff, and it's got beds and things on there,
- 31:04Speaker 6: and like swimming pools.
- 31:06Speaker 4: I don't know about swimming pools. I think you're thinking
- 31:08Speaker 4: of a cruise ship. Oh, like the big boat. Yes, yeah, yeah,
- 31:12Speaker 4: but I've heard it's delightful. My parents have done it
- 31:14Speaker 4: several delightful. Yeah, I feel about that. Sounds like kadaky delightful. Yeah,
- 31:21Speaker 4: I went cool. Now, well, my parents have done it
- 31:23Speaker 4: a few times.
- 31:24Speaker 6: Have they have They? And they were we'll talk about
- 31:28Speaker 6: this for the moment, just the Transalpine and then we'll
- 31:31Speaker 6: get into your parents.
- 31:31Speaker 4: No, it's all good week. But they were saying it
- 31:34Speaker 4: was pretty neat, so pretty fizzed up for that, and
- 31:37Speaker 4: then of course the wild Food Festival on the Setdy there,
- 31:40Speaker 4: pugs Man, a year ago, you were, am I right
- 31:45Speaker 4: in thinking you were naked doing a yard glass in
- 31:47Speaker 4: the middle of Stumpers Bar? There is that? Am I
- 31:49Speaker 4: remembering that correctly?
- 31:51Speaker 5: Very very close keezy?
- 31:52Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 31:53Speaker 2: And I had a whole mass crowd around me, charging me,
- 31:57Speaker 2: one really encouraging me to get through.
- 31:59Speaker 5: It took me away. If I recall correctly, I hadn't
- 32:02Speaker 5: done a yardy. So it was your doing.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Moment you put it out on the year waves, you said,
- 32:06Speaker 2: somebody bring one down.
- 32:08Speaker 5: We've had it.
- 32:09Speaker 6: Yeah, it's good for me.
- 32:11Speaker 2: Then I also had been talking about something that had
- 32:15Speaker 2: happened to a friend of mine at the airport recently,
- 32:17Speaker 2: and then three cops turned up.
- 32:19Speaker 6: That's right, Yeah, that was well, one of the cops
- 32:22Speaker 6: had the yard glass.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Yes it was the local sheriff. Yes, it was the
- 32:25Speaker 2: local sheriff. One of the great work trips I've ever had.
- 32:28Speaker 6: Yeah, part of that agreed.
- 32:30Speaker 4: Yeah, are you obviously because it's your birthday? It was
- 32:32Speaker 4: your birthday yesterday? Are you excited to redo the yard
- 32:34Speaker 4: glass at Stumper's Bar the year later and just show
- 32:37Speaker 4: us your progress in that department?
- 32:39Speaker 5: Do another yardy?
- 32:41Speaker 4: Well, I don't know. It's just an idea. We don't
- 32:42Speaker 4: have to do it.
- 32:42Speaker 5: Well, I got a beat like ten minutes.
- 32:45Speaker 2: It was.
- 32:46Speaker 4: It was about good. I was impressed. Yeah, really yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 32:50Speaker 4: my yard glass took about half an hour.
- 32:52Speaker 6: When that I don't remember.
- 32:53Speaker 4: Yeah, it's funny.
- 32:54Speaker 6: That really odd.
- 32:55Speaker 2: I also have never taken a long train trip Fellers,
- 32:57Speaker 2: and it's been something I've always wanted to do.
- 33:00Speaker 5: Really excited.
- 33:00Speaker 2: I haven't had a reason to do that destination, but
- 33:03Speaker 2: the Wild Food Festival seems like the perfect one one.
- 33:06Speaker 4: It's going to be an exciting few days that you can,
- 33:08Speaker 4: of course keep up with it on the hducky big shows,
- 33:10Speaker 4: social media or you can come on down if you're
- 33:13Speaker 4: in Christy. It's Richmond Club the Critic Bar this Thursday
- 33:17Speaker 4: four to seven. Jace, Mogi, Kezy and Old Pugs will
- 33:21Speaker 4: be down there. We've got Backbone teas to give away
- 33:22Speaker 4: and a few other goodies as well. Then on the
- 33:24Speaker 4: Friday on the train there over at Hokiteker watching the
- 33:27Speaker 4: Wars at the local pub Friday night. APM cannot wait
- 33:31Speaker 4: and they're ripping into the Wild Food Festival on Saturday. Yeah.
- 33:34Speaker 4: If you want to tickets to the Wild Food Festival,
- 33:36Speaker 4: by the way wildfoods dot co dot ends it, it
- 33:38Speaker 4: is not too late, there are a few available.
- 33:40Speaker 6: And that Worries game is against the Canberra Raiders. It
- 33:43Speaker 6: is going to be a hour of a game.
- 33:44Speaker 4: It's going to be a doozy speaking of a hor
- 33:47Speaker 4: of a game. The man we're about to talk to
- 33:50Speaker 4: shortly flew over to India for a hour of a
- 33:53Speaker 4: t twenty cricketing game. You could say it is g Lane.
- 33:57Speaker 4: He flew over there to see the black Caps take
- 33:59Speaker 4: on India and now he's steering down the barrel of
- 34:01Speaker 4: like forty eight hours of travel or something to make
- 34:03Speaker 4: his way back. We're going to catch up with him
- 34:06Speaker 4: on the phone next.
- 34:08Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hurdarchy.
- 34:12Speaker 4: So I'm guarding on the Hudaky Big Show with Kezy
- 34:14Speaker 4: Moggi and old Pugs. Hordy j is away with the flu.
- 34:17Speaker 4: Hopefully he'll be back on Dick tomorrow. Someone who probably
- 34:20Speaker 4: won't be back on Dick tomorrow, however, is acc head
- 34:24Speaker 4: g Lane, who traveled to the other side of the
- 34:26Speaker 4: world Mogi to witness the black Caps win the T
- 34:29Speaker 4: twenty final. Remind me how did they go again?
- 34:31Speaker 6: Wasn't great, but they didn't lose by over one hundred.
- 34:34Speaker 6: So we've got that game for us. This backbone, shit Lane,
- 34:37Speaker 6: where are your brother?
- 34:39Speaker 3: I am at a Minnabd airport right fly out. I
- 34:44Speaker 3: have to slide Delhi and then Deli to Singapore and
- 34:47Speaker 3: then Singapore home, where I will hug my children and
- 34:50Speaker 3: cry to myself to sleep.
- 34:51Speaker 6: The spy tells me you've sunk to such steps as
- 34:55Speaker 6: you're actually were in an Indian cricket jumper. Is that true?
- 34:59Speaker 3: As the only way I go out of the ground,
- 35:00Speaker 3: To be honest, Moggie, I was in severe danger and
- 35:04Speaker 3: I thought the only way to get down in here,
- 35:05Speaker 3: and I'd bought an emergency Indian top. I whipped it
- 35:08Speaker 3: on as I left. I got a standing ovation and
- 35:11Speaker 3: I avoided serious assault.
- 35:13Speaker 4: Yeah, ro, what was the atmosphere like there? G Lane,
- 35:16Speaker 4: as a Kiwi sitting in the Indian crowd.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Mate, it is hard to describe one hundred and thirty
- 35:21Speaker 3: thousand people. That's the biggest stadium in the world. And
- 35:25Speaker 3: let's just say no traffic management, there's no crowd. There's
- 35:28Speaker 3: no crowd management. Everyone comes in on like a five
- 35:31Speaker 3: meter wide street. It's pretty I don't think the coverage
- 35:36Speaker 3: quite quite does a justice the absolute bedlam and massive
- 35:41Speaker 3: humanity and the smell. There's a lot of dudes. There's
- 35:45Speaker 3: a lot of dudes in synthetic tops who are sweating heavily,
- 35:49Speaker 3: so there's a certain odor that permeates around the ground.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Very dude heavy. A lot of dudes, so many dudes
- 35:55Speaker 3: in India just dudes hanging out doing dude stuff. Just
- 35:58Speaker 3: dudes everywhere, Dudes on their phone, holding hands, just doing
- 36:02Speaker 3: do stuff.
- 36:03Speaker 6: I was at the Bleeder Zoe Cup game, the biggest
- 36:06Speaker 6: crowd for a rugby union game between the All Blacks
- 36:08Speaker 6: in Australia out at Stadium Australia. There's one hundred and
- 36:11Speaker 6: ten thousand people there. Toto Kfu broke our hearts scoring
- 36:15Speaker 6: beside the posts after the buzzer, but that was Australians
- 36:19Speaker 6: and Kiwi's the noise I'd imagine with one hundred and
- 36:22Speaker 6: thirty thousand minus four Kiwis must have been unbelievable. And
- 36:27Speaker 6: outside of getting our asses handed to us, it must
- 36:29Speaker 6: be a pretty special place to be a man.
- 36:32Speaker 3: The only ceremony was next level. They had some local
- 36:35Speaker 3: Indian pop stars and then Ricky Martin came out and
- 36:37Speaker 3: they basically killed the vibe. So because they had some
- 36:43Speaker 3: real rock and Indian local superstars and everyone was up
- 36:47Speaker 3: dancing and then outcomes Ricky. She bangs and.
- 36:51Speaker 6: She does bang though, bro, that must have been sick.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Yeah, and then it's the only femi that was pretty mean.
- 36:58Speaker 3: The half time entertained that was pretty good, like an
- 37:00Speaker 3: amazing laser show. I just don't think anywhere else in
- 37:03Speaker 3: the world would spend that much money on a single event.
- 37:05Speaker 6: Well, the thing that is amazing about as well is
- 37:07Speaker 6: it's actually not a World Cup. It's it's the India
- 37:10Speaker 6: tournament and any other team can just go to how
- 37:15Speaker 6: and we don't give you any coverage, and we can
- 37:16Speaker 6: have one of our players, you know, the opposition team
- 37:18Speaker 6: can be on a hat trick and we're not going
- 37:20Speaker 6: to show it or give a shit. It's pretty amazing.
- 37:22Speaker 6: It is just India's game and everyone else can suck it.
- 37:26Speaker 3: Yep. Absolutely, the script went perfectly for everyone in cricket
- 37:31Speaker 3: circles who was in the BCCI or the ICC, it
- 37:34Speaker 3: was just the script was perfect. Everything worked out, which.
- 37:38Speaker 4: Under g Lane, who is still over in India having
- 37:41Speaker 4: flown over there as quickly as possible to watch the
- 37:43Speaker 4: World Cup final. G Lane, do you regret going over
- 37:47Speaker 4: there and how long until you're actually back on New
- 37:49Speaker 4: Zealand's there are soil?
- 37:51Speaker 3: No, you only regret the things you don't do kesy.
- 37:53Speaker 3: I agree that that's an experience and an atmosphere I'll
- 37:58Speaker 3: probably never ever experience. And luckily they don't see alcohol
- 38:02Speaker 3: in the state, because I think that's I've had a
- 38:03Speaker 3: few beers. I may have gotten to punch.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Up, but.
- 38:08Speaker 3: I've got a couple more stops to go. I've got
- 38:10Speaker 3: to go to Delhi. Then I've got to go to Singers,
- 38:12Speaker 3: and then I'll be home, and I'll be home Wednesday morning.
- 38:14Speaker 4: Yeah, and then home Wednesday morning and probably straight into
- 38:18Speaker 4: like a podcast in a commentary or something.
- 38:21Speaker 3: Well, it'll be a special podcast on Wednesday, because I'm
- 38:23Speaker 3: going to go through what I'd have to describe as
- 38:26Speaker 3: thousands of messages of abuse in my d end. So
- 38:30Speaker 3: I'm going to do a mean tweet version of the
- 38:33Speaker 3: podcast because there's some people out there who who have
- 38:36Speaker 3: kind of lost their mind a little bit. Yeah, there's
- 38:39Speaker 3: a lot of people who believe in ghosts and a
- 38:40Speaker 3: lot of people who believe in aliens who also believe
- 38:43Speaker 3: in the curse and don't quite understand that it's just
- 38:44Speaker 3: a bit of a joke.
- 38:45Speaker 6: It's a bit of a joke, exactly right. And full
- 38:47Speaker 6: respect to you Lane from us here at the big show.
- 38:50Speaker 6: Going all the way over there shows what a true
- 38:52Speaker 6: fan you are of this team. How good it would
- 38:55Speaker 6: have been if you ahead have managed to witness a
- 38:57Speaker 6: fine you know, a victory, but geez, getting o there
- 39:00Speaker 6: is a hell of an effort.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Thanks Maggie, that means a lot. I'm looking forward to
- 39:03Speaker 3: holding you when.
- 39:04Speaker 6: I get back, well for the next you know, three
- 39:06Speaker 6: four years, god knows how many years it's going to
- 39:08Speaker 6: be until we get in another final. People are just
- 39:10Speaker 6: going to be caning you with us curse bullshit. So
- 39:12Speaker 6: I enjoy that and I's eu Lane. You better start
- 39:14Speaker 6: making up some T shirts, man, because you will sell
- 39:16Speaker 6: millions of them. You might as well find a way
- 39:18Speaker 6: to make a dollar out of it.
- 39:21Speaker 3: The Black Cats T shirts are already flying out the door.
- 39:24Speaker 4: Bloody Rapper. We'll look g Lane. Good luck for the
- 39:26Speaker 4: chip home mate, And if you do want to hear
- 39:28Speaker 4: that wrap up podcast as he mentioned, check out the
- 39:31Speaker 4: agenda on Wednesday. Once he's back. It's time some push
- 39:33Speaker 4: push on the Huducky b.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Show, The Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold.
- 39:43Speaker 4: Ike, here's the Hurdarcky Big Show. Your backbones. It's also Monday,
- 39:46Speaker 4: the ninth of March. Two minutes past six. Keezy here
- 39:50Speaker 4: with Moggie and passe Hoidy Jay under the weather. Hopefully
- 39:53Speaker 4: back on deck tomorrow. But it is the big show
- 39:55Speaker 4: and it is brought to you by Toledos.
- 39:57Speaker 5: Why pause your first defeat it.
- 39:59Speaker 4: With It's right, Toledo's being a natural, electroly like drink.
- 40:05Speaker 4: Say for the whole family, thank you?
- 40:07Speaker 6: Can I explain it? It's sort of at the risk
- 40:09Speaker 6: of bringing up a competitive name, it's like a power
- 40:11Speaker 6: aid and it's a it's a new brand from a
- 40:15Speaker 6: Kiwi company, Kiwi family, and it's bloody delicious, man, get
- 40:19Speaker 6: them behind it.
- 40:20Speaker 4: Yeah, And basically it's an electro like drink with none
- 40:22Speaker 4: of the bad stuff, all natural ingredients, et cetera. If
- 40:25Speaker 4: you're keen to try it, here to any fresh choice
- 40:28Speaker 4: around the country. They're rolling it out in various other
- 40:30Speaker 4: supermarkets as well as we speak. Very exciting times and
- 40:32Speaker 4: it's great to have like a New Zealand startup company.
- 40:35Speaker 6: Damn straight it is and get a photo with yourself
- 40:37Speaker 6: scallumbacker Toledosi tag the big Show in it and you
- 40:41Speaker 6: could be in to win yourself a billion dollars. So
- 40:44Speaker 6: that is good stuff from you pugs guaranteeing that competition.
- 40:46Speaker 6: That's good shit.
- 40:47Speaker 5: I don't have a billion dollars.
- 40:48Speaker 6: You're a mad bastard.
- 40:49Speaker 4: Yeah, if you did have a billion dollars, you've just
- 40:51Speaker 4: promised to give it away with a Toledo competition man,
- 40:54Speaker 4: So you're a generous guy. Also, if you've just joined us,
- 40:57Speaker 4: you've just missed What's on the News with Me Keyzy,
- 41:02Speaker 4: which went off. Mogi basically put the call out and said, hey,
- 41:06Speaker 4: texting on three four eight three, how do you feel
- 41:08Speaker 4: this is going We've got one text Mogi from Daniel
- 41:11Speaker 4: saying it's going off.
- 41:12Speaker 6: All right, it's going off. Oh yeah, so right.
- 41:15Speaker 4: It makes me feel good and I'm excited to do
- 41:18Speaker 4: that scene that you get to. Yeah, he really does.
- 41:22Speaker 4: Can't wait to do it again tomorrow.
- 41:24Speaker 6: Hey, if you missed it, get the podcast this evening
- 41:27Speaker 6: comes out around about seven o'clock. You'll be able to
- 41:29Speaker 6: listen to it the end. It is shit hot.

- 41:42Speaker 4: It's The Huducky Big Show.
- 41:44Speaker 1: The Hurdiarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 41:47Speaker 1: in week days at four on radio.
- 41:49Speaker 4: Hold a pout a finger on The Huducky Big Show.
- 41:51Speaker 4: Thirty minutes past six, This Monday afternoon with Keezy, Moggi
- 41:54Speaker 4: and pugsn Howdy J back on deck tomorrow, hopefully a
- 41:57Speaker 4: little bit under the weather Fellers, and he's probably under
- 41:59Speaker 4: the weather as a result of attending pugs is huge
- 42:02Speaker 4: thirtieth birthday bash on Saturday night. We put a lovely
- 42:06Speaker 4: photo of all four of the failers up on the
- 42:08Speaker 4: Hockey Big Shows Instagram there if you want to see it.
- 42:11Speaker 4: Look lovely photo, really nice nice guy. But what I
- 42:15Speaker 4: don't get Pugs, Yeah, is quite a lot of the comments.
- 42:18Speaker 4: You know, whenever we put a photo up, there's a
- 42:20Speaker 4: lot of comments about Hoodie j this or Mowgi's bulges this,
- 42:23Speaker 4: or Keezy's meat patties or whatever. You know, there's a
- 42:25Speaker 4: lot of stuff. Yeah, for example, people commenting a happy
- 42:30Speaker 4: birthday with a big thumbs.
- 42:31Speaker 6: Up on there.
- 42:33Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a few people. And then this one which
- 42:37Speaker 4: I don't understand, Pugs on the nose candy.
- 42:40Speaker 5: A Yeah, I don't really get that either, man.
- 42:45Speaker 2: I mean, I got pizza for everybody that went along,
- 42:48Speaker 2: but there was no candy.
- 42:50Speaker 6: He's got your relationship to the comment from Kit that
- 42:53Speaker 6: sees Pugs is looking pretty focused.
- 42:57Speaker 4: Twenty three likes, so what is that? Because the photo
- 42:59Speaker 4: is of Jason Smoggie and myself in front of the
- 43:01Speaker 4: sky tower. That's great, We're all looking happy and Pugs
- 43:04Speaker 4: does have quite big eyes, and I'm just I don't
- 43:06Speaker 4: understand what wy everyone's banging on about your eyes.
- 43:09Speaker 2: A couple of bulgers though, yeah, well, I mean I
- 43:12Speaker 2: was standing next to you, Moggi and they to me
- 43:15Speaker 2: yeah yeah, yeah, which.
