- 1:01Speaker 1: It's five? They walk home. Medi hit it. The fact
- 1:10Speaker 1: that you thought my pickleball medal was a participation medal
- 1:12Speaker 1: pisses me.
- 1:13Speaker 4: Off a little bit.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Really yeah, I wouldn't take a picture with it, and
- 1:16Speaker 1: I wouldn't accept a participation medal.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:18Speaker 4: I just hey, let's say, I mean, that's a heavy
- 1:21Speaker 4: metal day.
- 1:23Speaker 1: It just didn't. It's a bronze though.
- 1:25Speaker 4: It's still though. You you placed, like you got a medal,
- 1:28Speaker 4: which is legit.
- 1:29Speaker 5: That's why I thought like, oh my gosh, you got
- 1:31Speaker 5: a participation in medal, because that's kind of what my
- 1:33Speaker 5: kids do. They go to tournaments all day and then
- 1:35Speaker 5: you know, if they don't win the whole trophy, they
- 1:37Speaker 5: all get medals.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Not eight, I mean not eight. I almost left before
- 1:43Speaker 1: the medal game, So this is what happened.
- 1:45Speaker 4: What do you mean you almost left?
- 1:47Speaker 1: I never played these tournaments before. Mistake number one was
- 1:50Speaker 1: playing a doubles tournament because it started at eight am
- 1:53Speaker 1: and they wanted us there at seven thirty. Nightmare.
- 1:57Speaker 4: That was ridiculous.
- 1:58Speaker 1: And my partner and I'd never played together, so we
- 2:01Speaker 1: were just like, yeah, well, just while we're there, we'll
- 2:02Speaker 1: just play doubles as well. We didn't realize it was
- 2:04Speaker 1: gonna be extended throughout the whole day.
- 2:05Speaker 4: Has he ever played a tournament before?
- 2:07Speaker 1: No, not that one of us had. And if you're
- 2:09Speaker 1: playing doubles, you almost need to play with each other
- 2:11Speaker 1: to understand what. So we showed up. I got there
- 2:16Speaker 1: seven fifteen, which meant I got up at five forty
- 2:18Speaker 1: five on a Saturday. Awful.
- 2:22Speaker 4: And you don't have kids, No, this is all on
- 2:25Speaker 4: your own.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Yeah, thanks thanks for reminding me.
- 2:28Speaker 6: Uh.
- 2:29Speaker 1: We got there and we're like, I don't know what
- 2:32Speaker 1: do we do. So they're like, okay, you're gonna play
- 2:34Speaker 1: this doubles tournament, and him and I play and we
- 2:36Speaker 1: dominate the first team we play. We're like, who knew?
- 2:39Speaker 1: It was so easy? And then we got whooped, just not.
- 2:42Speaker 1: We didn't even know what to do. We didn't even
- 2:44Speaker 1: want to play with each other. So we got in doubles.
- 2:46Speaker 1: We got to be pretty bad, and but doubles was
- 2:49Speaker 1: just kind of something I decided to do since I
- 2:50Speaker 1: was gonna be there all day anyway. I just clicked
- 2:52Speaker 1: that as like I'll just do that as I'm waiting
- 2:54Speaker 1: for singles, because I play singles ninety five percent of
- 2:57Speaker 1: the time, mostly because I don't have a lot of
- 2:58Speaker 1: friends and if I can just get one to come over,
- 3:00Speaker 1: that's a win. And so I get into the singles
- 3:03Speaker 1: tournament that started later in the day two pm.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Oh well that's more like it.
- 3:07Speaker 1: But we played until like eleven thirty or twelve eight.
- 3:12Speaker 1: It had you back up there.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Wait wait, eleven thirty twelve that night.
- 3:16Speaker 1: No no, no, no, though from eight am to like
- 3:19Speaker 1: eleven thirty or twelve got it one, got food real quick,
- 3:22Speaker 1: and then came back for a singles tournament. So there
- 3:25Speaker 1: all day so and my wife was like, are you
- 3:28Speaker 1: still playing? I was like, I don't even started.
- 3:30Speaker 4: Oh she didn't go.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Well, she went to singles because she know I didn't
- 3:33Speaker 1: really care that much about doubles, so she was like,
- 3:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna come support you. When do you want me
- 3:37Speaker 1: to come up? And I was like, don't come up
- 3:38Speaker 1: for doubles too early. And also we're just doing this
- 3:40Speaker 1: to like kill time in between games, so it was
- 3:44Speaker 1: singles time, and that way I can't be at fault, right,
- 3:47Speaker 1: my partner can't be at fault. I just like putting
- 3:49Speaker 1: all the blame on me. If we suck. And also
- 3:52Speaker 1: I feel like in singles I can grind people down
- 3:54Speaker 1: just being in good shape. So we go and play
- 3:57Speaker 1: the singles tournament, and there were a couple of divisions.
- 3:59Speaker 1: There's like an open. I didn't sign up for the
- 4:02Speaker 1: open division because I think that was the lowest, but
- 4:04Speaker 1: I signed up for some scale and I was playing
- 4:06Speaker 1: players that were like at three to five rating out
- 4:08Speaker 1: of five. Yeah, yeah, A pro is like five. I think.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I'm not sure. I didn't even know what the ratings were.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I just I just know in my yard number one, okay,
- 4:20Speaker 1: And I didn't know how that was going to translate
- 4:22Speaker 1: to showing up to play a tournament. But there were
- 4:24Speaker 1: some serious people. They play it five days a week.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Some of those guys show up every morning and play
- 4:28Speaker 1: for like two hours, five days a week. Like, do
- 4:32Speaker 1: you guys have jobs? Like yeah, we tour were musicians.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Like that makes sense.
- 4:38Speaker 1: So we play singles and they bring our side, our
- 4:42Speaker 1: division of the singles, because I think there are multiple
- 4:44Speaker 1: divisions and the winners that each division gets in a
- 4:47Speaker 1: final tournament against each other. And in our little group
- 4:50Speaker 1: there are six people and when everybody has to play, everybody,
- 4:54Speaker 1: so you're playing five matches right off.
- 4:56Speaker 4: The bat, winner, lose, everyone plays.
- 4:58Speaker 1: You do and you take the record, got it? And so,
- 5:02Speaker 1: but that's a lot of game. Could you play twenty one?
- 5:05Speaker 1: And I'm already I'm not tired from doubles, because doubles
- 5:08Speaker 1: really isn't that hard on your body, can only playing
- 5:10Speaker 1: one part of the court, but a little bit. I'm fatigue. Also,
- 5:13Speaker 1: I'm sleepy because I woke up at freaking five forty
- 5:15Speaker 1: five in the morning.
- 5:16Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 5:16Speaker 1: So we started to play singles and I went four
- 5:21Speaker 1: and one in my five games.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Okay, it's good, and one guy beat me.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Kind of a bull crap call, but whatever he got,
- 5:32Speaker 1: he saw better than I.
- 5:33Speaker 4: But you guys were pretty much even.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, yeah, and he got he called the game
- 5:37Speaker 1: winning point for him. I really couldn't tell if he
- 5:41Speaker 1: was telling the truth or not. But it was just
- 5:42Speaker 1: kind of a bull crap call that it was so close.
- 5:45Speaker 1: If it had been me, I wouldn't have I'd have
- 5:46Speaker 1: been like, it's close on the final call, let's just
- 5:48Speaker 1: replay the point.
- 5:49Speaker 4: So you guys don't have line judges or no.
- 5:51Speaker 1: It was really ten courts going at once. A lot
- 5:53Speaker 1: of interest I'm not even saying that my ball was in.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I'm just saying I know if it would have happened
- 5:57Speaker 1: to me and it had been close on the final point,
- 5:59Speaker 1: I would have say, hey, I'll just play the point again.
- 6:03Speaker 1: But that's not how they do it a tournament, so
- 6:05Speaker 1: you have to make the call. I guess. So I
- 6:07Speaker 1: lost that game whatever. So they're like, hey, you've made
- 6:11Speaker 1: the top four. You're gonna go play in the medal round.
- 6:13Speaker 1: And I'm like, let's go. Awesome. I get matched up
- 6:15Speaker 1: with the guy that just beat me. Oh boy, I
- 6:18Speaker 1: pound him.
- 6:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I ended up pounding uh. But that was in the championship.
- 6:24Speaker 1: That was the other So the first game I played
- 6:27Speaker 1: somebody in the final four who had already beaten once.
- 6:30Speaker 4: Okay, felt about that.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Yeah, and I'm playing them and this again, this is
- 6:34Speaker 1: not an excuse because I was not injured. But I
- 6:36Speaker 1: hit a fence and you'll see I had blood all
- 6:39Speaker 1: over me. I was too worried about getting a good
- 6:40Speaker 1: picture of me playing with blood all over my arm.
- 6:44Speaker 1: I think it just I think it distracted me a
- 6:46Speaker 1: little bit. Mar was hurting, but I wasn't injured, so
- 6:48Speaker 1: I can't use that as an excuse.
- 6:50Speaker 4: We're talking.
- 6:50Speaker 1: It was a lot my arm. Yeah, awesome, Yeah, it's awesome, dude.
- 6:53Speaker 1: It was not an excuse because it did not affect
- 6:56Speaker 1: my game play at all. I think I was just
- 6:58Speaker 1: mildly distracted and the I was good, and so I
- 7:01Speaker 1: ended up beating him earlier and he beat me, so
- 7:03Speaker 1: I had to go play in the bronze medal match.
- 7:05Speaker 1: And then it was the guy that beat me earlier,
- 7:06Speaker 1: and I pounded him like twenty one to three or
- 7:09Speaker 1: so you wanted to get him. Yeah, So anyway, I
- 7:12Speaker 1: got a medal. I'll play it differently next.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Time now that you know your more experienced now.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Not even just that I ain't getting there at eight am,
- 7:20Speaker 1: wait for a two o'clock tournament when I I'm playing singles.
- 7:24Speaker 1: I got a bronze medal. I was pretty proud of
- 7:26Speaker 1: him for my first ever tournament, that I got a medal.
- 7:27Speaker 4: That's awesome, dah, it's.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Pretty happy with It's just pick a ball people making
- 7:30Speaker 1: fun of me online.
- 7:31Speaker 6: You.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Oh, it's maybe a sport. Okay, No, it's a sport.
- 7:33Speaker 1: No care. If I'm playing checkers and I'm in and
- 7:35Speaker 1: I get a medal. Mostly I want the gold but
- 7:37Speaker 1: pick a ball is a sport. Mostly I want the gold,
- 7:40Speaker 1: but this time there were some really great players there.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I beat some guys that were like three sevens, three eights.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I think my ratings almost three eight right now, but
- 7:48Speaker 1: it's only through one tournament. I'm looking to get to
- 7:49Speaker 1: that four point.
- 7:50Speaker 4: Oh that's official, right, that's like a handout fish.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Yes, okay, so in one week. I didn't think about this.
- 7:55Speaker 1: In one week. I gotta think my friend George Burr's
- 7:57Speaker 1: the message of me. He said, you shot seventy eight
- 8:00Speaker 1: and want to metal on a pickleball tournament. That's not
- 8:03Speaker 1: too old man sport awards.
- 8:06Speaker 4: Hell of a week.
- 8:07Speaker 1: So yes, that's awesome, dude, that was that? I have
- 8:10Speaker 1: so many notes.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Is that real bronze? By the way, it's like like
- 8:14Speaker 4: the Olympics.
- 8:14Speaker 1: We could test a rose gold.
- 8:16Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, you probably don't want to put that in
- 8:19Speaker 4: your mouth.
- 8:19Speaker 1: And it says Amateur Pickleball Association in case people thought
- 8:22Speaker 1: I was a professional and I your amateur. Yep uh,
- 8:25Speaker 1: but no, I'm pretty pretty happy with its. My body
- 8:28Speaker 1: hurts because I played fourteen total matches that day.
- 8:31Speaker 4: Crazy.
- 8:32Speaker 1: That's a lot, and it's not even that I was
- 8:34Speaker 1: exhausted because I was tired. But my hips, my ankles
- 8:36Speaker 1: hurt from just all the cuts like pivots and.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Cut out cuts back and forth. Not your not like
- 8:41Speaker 4: your arm.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Oh I do have a big cut of my arm.
- 8:43Speaker 1: That was a picture on my Instagram.
- 8:44Speaker 4: I saw that.
- 8:45Speaker 1: That was really cool, like pretty. How was the.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Bathroom situation everything?
- 8:49Speaker 1: You couldn't go number two? Luckily I went home in
- 8:52Speaker 1: the middle of the day. You can only pee. You
- 8:54Speaker 1: couldn't go number two. But I didn't have that problem,
- 8:56Speaker 1: so it wasn't a situation for me. But they did
- 8:58Speaker 1: send up an email going, don't to go to the bathroom.
- 9:01Speaker 1: So that's the big sports.
- 9:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I got lead with a big one.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I got many things. Okay, number two the Thunder Let's go?
- 9:13Speaker 6: Did you watch?
- 9:14Speaker 4: I watched about half of it.
- 9:15Speaker 5: It was back and forth between golf and the timing
- 9:18Speaker 5: was bad golf, thunder game, and then I was coaching.
- 9:21Speaker 5: You know, I'm gonna coach for my son's basketball game.
- 9:23Speaker 5: They get any medals, so no, oh yeah, both of
- 9:25Speaker 5: my kids got got basketball medals.
- 9:27Speaker 4: They always do.
- 9:27Speaker 6: Let's go.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Yeah, so you and my kids got metals?
- 9:30Speaker 1: Metal weekend? Man, what part of the basketball game.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Did you watch somewhere in the middle. Okay, so in
- 9:35Speaker 4: the middle where they took the lead.
- 9:37Speaker 1: It was the bluest I've ever seen a crowd. It
- 9:39Speaker 1: looked awesome.
- 9:40Speaker 4: That's what they're doing.
- 9:40Speaker 7: Okay.
- 9:41Speaker 1: See man, it was all dark blue and there were
- 9:45Speaker 1: very few people that weren't wearing the shirt. Always got
- 9:47Speaker 1: to wear the shirt. It looked cool. I was a
- 9:49Speaker 1: little buck clinched at the beginning. I want to Oklahoma
- 9:51Speaker 1: City to.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Win as well, and because you don't want me to
- 9:53Speaker 4: wear a thong.
- 9:54Speaker 1: No, it's not that I just want them to win,
- 9:55Speaker 1: but if they do lose, there's a bonus for me.
- 9:58Speaker 1: And so they were tight, and they were not playing
- 10:03Speaker 1: well I think. And I saw the graphic. They had
- 10:06Speaker 1: like three players that ever played in a game seven
- 10:08Speaker 1: and Denver had like twenty, oh go twenty game sevens
- 10:11Speaker 1: and O Casey had what three, like three I think
- 10:14Speaker 1: it was like three total game sevens versus Denver's twenty.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Yeah, that first quarter was tight.
- 10:18Speaker 1: So first quarter is pretty tight. Getting almost to half,
- 10:21Speaker 1: it was in the forties and then it just they
- 10:23Speaker 1: see you right before the half. I'm not even sure
- 10:26Speaker 1: what the run was like. Eighteen to five or something
- 10:28Speaker 1: like that, and then it was never a game again.
- 10:30Speaker 1: So that's Caruso went off right, Like defensively, Caruso played awesome.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Crusoe was playing a joker. Yeah, he was on joker.
- 10:37Speaker 4: I saw that.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Yeah, so I was glad to see Oklahoma City win.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I think that Oklahoma City and Minnesota matchup is gonna
- 10:44Speaker 1: be really good. I wonder why people hate Gobert so
- 10:47Speaker 1: much now. I saw where he kicked out as one
- 10:49Speaker 1: his girlfriend that's pregnant with a one year old. Oh,
- 10:52Speaker 1: but he kicked her out of the guy. I just
- 10:54Speaker 1: wonder what about him because apparently everybody hates him.
- 10:56Speaker 8: Remember we did the whole thing with COVID and he
- 10:58Speaker 8: was like coughing on the mic.
- 10:59Speaker 1: It was funny.
- 11:02Speaker 4: I no one knew how serious it was. Then that
- 11:05Speaker 4: started the sour taste.
- 11:07Speaker 1: I think people hate him.
- 11:07Speaker 5: I think he just plays soft, like he's a big dude.
- 11:10Speaker 5: He should be playing hard, big man, but he just
- 11:12Speaker 5: plays soft and it looks soft.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I don't think that's it. I think people hate him,
- 11:16Speaker 1: and I don't know why. I need. I don't have
- 11:17Speaker 1: any inside NBA folks. I'm gonna find one, though, because
- 11:23Speaker 1: he defensively dominates, so he's not even playing that soft like.
- 11:26Speaker 1: He's defensively awesome. Still, but I think that series is
- 11:31Speaker 1: gonna be fun.
- 11:32Speaker 4: I was hoping a four to hero. Yeah, just end it,
- 11:35Speaker 4: you know quick.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I wouldn't mind that. But you're looking at either Anthony
- 11:39Speaker 1: Edwards by the way, never won a championship. You're looking
- 11:43Speaker 1: at Shay never won a championship, Oklahoma City that the
- 11:46Speaker 1: Seattle doesn't count. They're like nineteen something the last time
- 11:52Speaker 1: the Thunder want a champion doesn't count? Seattle does account.
- 11:55Speaker 1: That's not the same at all.
- 11:58Speaker 4: So was it bubble or was it what were they
- 12:00Speaker 4: talking about?
- 12:01Speaker 1: To see what you're saying, But they put the thing
- 12:06Speaker 1: up in there like to ever win a championship that
- 12:08Speaker 1: doesn't count. Yeah, the Knicks, I would have lost this
- 12:12Speaker 1: trivia question. It's been over fifty years since they've won
- 12:14Speaker 1: any of our lives. The Knicks haven't won a championship.
- 12:18Speaker 1: And then Halliburton. That's pretty cool.
- 12:22Speaker 8: Yeah, so what I kind of like there's a lot
- 12:25Speaker 8: of like new young blood in the mix. I don't
- 12:28Speaker 8: know personally. I know people were kind of complaining there's
- 12:30Speaker 8: no Lebron, no Curry, now. I mean, Giannis is obviously out,
- 12:33Speaker 8: but I'm kind of into it. I'm you know, they
- 12:36Speaker 8: changed the.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Guard Anthony Edwards and Shay. That's pretty cool. You know,
- 12:41Speaker 1: the Brunson Halliburton. They're not as famous, but I mean
- 12:45Speaker 1: even sha isn't always that famous. He's getting there, but
- 12:47Speaker 1: Anthony Edwards is probably the most famous superstar right now. Yeah. Yeah,
- 12:51Speaker 1: I'm rooting for you, dude, but I'm writing for me.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I'm rot for Thunder. I make sure to go to
- 12:54Speaker 1: one of those if I can.
- 12:55Speaker 4: That'd be cool.
- 12:56Speaker 1: If I can. The problem is you can take your
- 12:58Speaker 1: father in law DJ and Arkansas won.
- 13:01Speaker 4: Yeah, so they won.
- 13:02Speaker 1: The game got delayed four hours yesterday because the storms
- 13:05Speaker 1: and fabel. So how college softball works is these regionals.
- 13:12Speaker 1: They have four teams come to one area. It's very
- 13:16Speaker 1: much like the NCAA basketball tournament does, except the higher
- 13:21Speaker 1: seeded team hosts the site where in the NCAA basketball
- 13:25Speaker 1: tournam they already have them dedicated, sure, but they want
- 13:27Speaker 1: to make sure fans go. So Arkansas is the number
- 13:30Speaker 1: four overall team. They hosted. It was Arkansas, Indiana, Saint
- 13:36Speaker 1: Louis University, and Oklahoma State and Oklahoma State was a
- 13:40Speaker 1: lot better than what they were put into. But because
- 13:43Speaker 1: it's regional at times, they'll stick teams that are close
- 13:45Speaker 1: near each other. So Arkansas wins the game one, Oklahoma
- 13:48Speaker 1: State wins the game one. They go to game too,
- 13:49Speaker 1: Oklahoma State's dominating. Arkansas scores like three runs at the
- 13:52Speaker 1: bottom of the seventh. They all play seven innings and
- 13:54Speaker 1: ties it and then wins it in the eighth. It
- 13:55Speaker 1: was crazy awesome. And then the game got delayed forever
- 13:58Speaker 1: last night and then Arkansas freaking put nails to them
- 14:01Speaker 1: and won like twelve zero something like that. They had
- 14:03Speaker 1: to call the game early. Yeah, they run rulled them
- 14:05Speaker 1: in the fifth. So that was awesome. So I'll go
- 14:08Speaker 1: to Fabville next week and it's going to be Arkansas
- 14:11Speaker 1: and Ole Miss. Ole Miss ended up going to Arizona
- 14:13Speaker 1: and winning that regional and so Arkansas Ole Miss will play.
- 14:16Speaker 1: But Ole Miss beat Arkansas in the series.
- 14:18Speaker 4: Earlier this year, so we're really into this.
- 14:20Speaker 6: I love it.
- 14:20Speaker 1: It's my brother in law, the family, I know. Yeah,
- 14:23Speaker 1: so I also give them a lot of money, so
- 14:27Speaker 1: I need to be.
- 14:28Speaker 4: You give DJ a lot of money.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Not DJ's that softball team, DJ asking you for money
- 14:32Speaker 1: to DJ is not so. Uh, that's big news.
- 14:36Speaker 4: That's really cool.
- 14:37Speaker 1: So we're gonna go to Favville next week and if
- 14:38Speaker 1: they so. Now on super Regionals they play two out
- 14:41Speaker 1: of three, just two teams show up, it's best of
- 14:43Speaker 1: three and then the winner goes to the College World
- 14:45Speaker 1: Series eight teams arctall's never been ever.
- 14:48Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 14:49Speaker 5: So do you think there's a timing where maybe you
- 14:51Speaker 5: can go catch Arkansas game and then go to a
- 14:54Speaker 5: Okay See.
- 14:54Speaker 1: We'll be in Okay see that next week. So if
- 14:58Speaker 1: the thunder is still in it possibly where they're they're there,
- 15:03Speaker 1: I mean, they'll be begging me to come, would not, Bobby,
- 15:07Speaker 1: we need to Is there a chance your brother in
- 15:10Speaker 1: law would be playing his mom? Yes, there is a chance.
- 15:13Speaker 1: They've played four times this year. Okay, they played. They
- 15:16Speaker 1: played a three game series in Oklahoma swept them, but
- 15:19Speaker 1: Arkansas played pretty good. They played a in the SEC
- 15:22Speaker 1: tournament and his mom beat I'm gonna walk off home
- 15:24Speaker 1: run on the very end.
- 15:25Speaker 4: The Arkansas had that lead.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I did are playing golf watching it, so yes, but
- 15:29Speaker 1: there is a chance. So yeah, so there's that. Uh,
- 15:34Speaker 1: I'll talk Cayler Clark for a second.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Yeah, what do you think about that?
- 15:38Speaker 1: I think that Angel Reese is stupid.
- 15:40Speaker 4: She didn't do anything, man, she was just trying to throw.
- 15:42Speaker 4: She was just trying to score.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Angel Reese shoved a player first, and then Caylen Clark
- 15:47Speaker 1: basketball play, just.
- 15:49Speaker 4: Trying to draw the foul basketball play.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Make Cayla Clark also had a triple double and it
- 15:54Speaker 1: wasn't a game.
- 15:56Speaker 5: But there is a feud, right, there is a feud.
- 15:59Speaker 5: So to come out and say, don't make a thing
- 16:01Speaker 5: out of it, that's crazy. No, there's a few Kaitlyn
- 16:03Speaker 5: Clark versus Angel Reese.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I don't Thinkaitlyn Clark thinks about Angel Reese more than
- 16:08Speaker 1: it's gonna say it's once a month. I think Angel
- 16:10Speaker 1: Reese lives with Kaitlin Clark in her head. Yeah, okay,
- 16:13Speaker 1: I think a lot of players live with Kaylyn Clark
- 16:15Speaker 1: in their head because she's come in and just taken over.
- 16:17Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 16:18Speaker 1: So I'm also a massive Kaitlin Clark fan, have been
- 16:21Speaker 1: before it even became cool to do. So back me up, Betty,
- 16:24Speaker 1: when everybody was hating on you.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Were the one.
- 16:26Speaker 1: I was there, the one, the only one, and we
- 16:29Speaker 1: were all like.
- 16:30Speaker 5: What and then you've even said you're a fair athlete
- 16:32Speaker 5: of all time, favorite batsball player of all time, clark
- 16:37Speaker 5: Yalen Clark, you said.
- 16:38Speaker 4: It, thank you, So I'm not athletes.
- 16:41Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 16:41Speaker 1: They dominated. She triple doubles. She had ten rebounds, tennissists,
- 16:45Speaker 1: over twenty points. It's pretty awesome. You watched the game live,
- 16:48Speaker 1: watch a bunch of it, and then it got way
- 16:50Speaker 1: out of hand. And then I was just checking back
- 16:51Speaker 1: to see if I was following, because Dave Portnoy had
- 16:54Speaker 1: bet a bunch of money for a triple double and
- 16:56Speaker 1: it went in three hundred and thirty five thousand dollars. Yeah,
- 16:58Speaker 1: and that I think the ten three bound was what
- 17:01Speaker 1: he needed for her to hit it. And when she so,
- 17:03Speaker 1: I was flipping back and forth to see.
- 17:05Speaker 5: That, and then I saw the Caitlin's teammate got technical
- 17:09Speaker 5: Eleeah Boston, Elah Boston.
- 17:10Speaker 4: So she gets fined as well.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Candle Clock said you pay it in the press conference.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Candler Clark's like, I'm gonna pay the fine.
- 17:16Speaker 4: That's pretty cool.
- 17:17Speaker 1: So that happened. That was good, That was fun. The
- 17:22Speaker 1: PGAF Scheffler won, jeffler Man again almost lost it.
- 17:28Speaker 5: John Rahm came up, tied it up and like the
- 17:31Speaker 5: I don't know what hole they were on. He ties
- 17:32Speaker 5: it up and then of course John Ram just kind
- 17:34Speaker 5: of blew it.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Yeah, but Scheffler went like five under in the last
- 17:39Speaker 1: five holes.
- 17:40Speaker 4: Oh yeah, he took off. Yeah, so it was the
- 17:42Speaker 4: rom started boguing, then Scheffler took off.
- 17:44Speaker 1: So it was I felt like there wasn't much drama there.
- 17:46Speaker 5: Well, man, when my basketball practice started, like right at
- 17:49Speaker 5: four o'clock, they were tied.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Now, I'm like, can we delay practice? And my wife's
- 17:53Speaker 4: like no, we got a practice. And then when practice
- 17:56Speaker 4: was over.
- 17:56Speaker 1: I watching that, I flipped it on and it was
- 17:58Speaker 1: and Shoffler was running away with it at the end.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Yeah, they were tied.
- 18:01Speaker 1: It is a great at well. Yeah, but again it's
- 18:03Speaker 1: the Scheffler birdied five holes in a row at the end,
- 18:06Speaker 1: I know, and.
- 18:07Speaker 5: I think they were saying Scheffler like was his driver
- 18:10Speaker 5: was off. He didn't hit many fairways for the front
- 18:12Speaker 5: nine and then the back nine boom nailed them all.
- 18:15Speaker 1: They didn't get me one of those non conforming drivers. Apparently,
- 18:18Speaker 1: what is that? Well, they took Roy's driver away. It
- 18:20Speaker 1: said it was non conforming and he may have played.
- 18:22Speaker 1: I don't know what it means.
- 18:23Speaker 4: And they made legal driver.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Yeah, but they were checking everybody's drivers for some reason.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Even Scheffler said he got his check.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Okay, PGA needs to relax, Like they want to do
- 18:31Speaker 4: this on the Masters.
- 18:32Speaker 1: They want to find me a non conforming driver. Point like,
- 18:35Speaker 1: I don't know where I can get it, but I
- 18:37Speaker 1: would love to have me a non conforming driver.
- 18:38Speaker 4: I did see that, Uh, Ricky Fowler plays your mini
- 18:42Speaker 4: driver nice. He plays it as a fairway wood off
- 18:45Speaker 4: the deck.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Nice.
- 18:47Speaker 4: But she was hitting really well and you two were
- 18:49Speaker 4: hitting a.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Mini driver, not the actress, by the way, any driver
- 18:53Speaker 1: nice anything about that. It's a smaller driver that's mostly
- 18:57Speaker 1: played like a three wood but with a bigger head.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Yeah, so mini drivers the actress on Goodwill Hunting.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Yeah, dark hair. Ye. The Nike ad was really good.
- 19:09Speaker 1: After Scheffler won, it was like guilty of being the
- 19:12Speaker 1: best golfer in the world because obviously, yeah, the Nike
- 19:17Speaker 1: was good.
- 19:17Speaker 5: I did also see a TikTok too, and this guy
- 19:19Speaker 5: popped up. This has nothing to do with Scheffler or anything,
- 19:21Speaker 5: but this guy pops up and he's sitting there next to.
- 19:23Speaker 4: His wife on a couch.
- 19:24Speaker 5: He says, uh, hey, guys, this, I just want to
- 19:27Speaker 5: apologize to my wife who's right here, for cheating on her.
- 19:31Speaker 4: And I was like, oh, I'm all in. I keep
- 19:33Speaker 4: watching the guys in her dreams. Apparently last night I cheated.
- 19:38Speaker 1: I've done that on stage.
- 19:40Speaker 4: On stage, he had me, he got me.

- 21:05Speaker 1: Now we're going to talk to Solomon Wilcotts. By the way,
- 21:08Speaker 1: played at the University of Colorado. He was the first
- 21:10Speaker 1: player from Colorado to be drafted by the Bengals. He
- 21:13Speaker 1: played with the Bengals for four years the Vikings he
- 21:15Speaker 1: played with the Steelers. He's now earned an Emmy Award
- 21:18Speaker 1: for a sideline reporting on ESPN Sunday Night Football. He
- 21:21Speaker 1: does a show on Sirius XM and we're gonna talk
- 21:24Speaker 1: NFL right now with Solomon Wilcotts. Hey, Solomon, thanks for
- 21:27Speaker 1: the time today, man, really appreciate it.
- 21:30Speaker 7: Thanks for having me appreciate So I want.
- 21:32Speaker 1: To start with Caleb Williams. What do you make of
- 21:36Speaker 1: Caleb Williams talking about the last staff in him watching
- 21:39Speaker 1: film alone.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, I find that what hard to believe
- 21:44Speaker 3: simply because in the National Football League, where things are
- 21:47Speaker 3: so buttoned up right between the head coach, the offensive coordinator,
- 21:52Speaker 3: and the quarterbacks coach, there are a lot of people
- 21:55Speaker 3: overseeing the growth and the development of the quarterback that
- 21:59Speaker 3: I could see you having a moment where the work
- 22:03Speaker 3: has already been explained, the cutups have already been provided,
- 22:06Speaker 3: and that there's been many of times where he was
- 22:10Speaker 3: sitting in a meeting with the coordinator and the quarterback
- 22:12Speaker 3: coach and going over things. But also he would have
- 22:15Speaker 3: time also to watch tape alone, Like you're a quarterback. Yeah,
- 22:20Speaker 3: there's gonna be It's like any other job. There's gonna
- 22:23Speaker 3: be time where, look, you're entrusted to get this part
- 22:26Speaker 3: of it done by yourself, because there's already been a
- 22:29Speaker 3: conversation had with everyone about what you're looking for and
- 22:33Speaker 3: what you're learning, And so I could see him spending
- 22:36Speaker 3: some time watching tape alone. But if that is to
- 22:40Speaker 3: imply that he was left to finn for himself as
- 22:44Speaker 3: a quarterback trying to watch tape and dissect the opponent,
- 22:49Speaker 3: that's what I find very hard to believe.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Yeah, it's hard for me to believe too, because when
- 22:54Speaker 1: they talked about ebra Flus and his staff, they were like,
- 22:56Speaker 1: they checked out the last few games. However, much like
- 22:59Speaker 1: player and that's why there's no tanking in the NFL,
- 23:02Speaker 1: because everything is still on tape because everybody's still looking
- 23:04Speaker 1: for their next job, even when even coaches are looking.
- 23:09Speaker 1: If they know they're not going to continue in Chicago,
- 23:12Speaker 1: they probably want to continue somewhere. And what a terrible
- 23:16Speaker 1: thing to do for your own personal career than to
- 23:18Speaker 1: just ignore everything.
- 23:19Speaker 3: Right, Oh, absolutely, that would be complete negligence, and I
- 23:24Speaker 3: think and obviously totally unprofessional to leave a quarterback on
- 23:31Speaker 3: his own, particularly a rookie quarterback, right without any help,
- 23:35Speaker 3: without any assistance when it comes to understanding the game plan,
- 23:40Speaker 3: when it comes to understanding the opponent.
- 23:42Speaker 7: So look, do I believe that there.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Was times when he was tasked to watch some tape
- 23:48Speaker 3: on his own to look at the cutups that the
- 23:50Speaker 3: coaches provide for him.
- 23:52Speaker 7: No, I'm not doubting that. I would suspect that, Yeah,
- 23:54Speaker 7: that did happen.
- 23:56Speaker 3: But I think right now this whole thing is being
- 23:58Speaker 3: taken out of context to represent something that just doesn't
- 24:03Speaker 3: happen in our league. Rookie quarterbacks are not getting their
- 24:07Speaker 3: own cutups, are building their own game plans, are being
- 24:11Speaker 3: left on their own to figure out how to win
- 24:13Speaker 3: games without having assistance from the coaches.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Let's stay with the quarterbacks and go to Aaron Rodgers.
- 24:19Speaker 1: And we kept waiting for him to make a decision,
- 24:21Speaker 1: and they looked like it was the Steelers. And now
- 24:23Speaker 1: we're hearing maybe it's not the Steelers, And I don't
- 24:25Speaker 1: know if it's because the Saints are now giving him
- 24:27Speaker 1: a little leverage. What are you hearing about Aaron Rodgers?
- 24:29Speaker 3: Well, I just spoke this morning on the opening Drive
- 24:32Speaker 3: on Serious xem Minifield Radio with Andrew Philippony. He's a
- 24:36Speaker 3: Steelers reporter with ninety three point seven the Fan in Pittsburgh,
- 24:41Speaker 3: and he was really good at saying that, look, Aaron
- 24:44Speaker 3: Rodgers is most likely going to show up here at
- 24:47Speaker 3: the end of May, first of June. That it's been
- 24:51Speaker 3: reported that he's dealing with quote, personal issues.
- 24:54Speaker 7: But think about it this way.
- 24:56Speaker 3: According to Andrew Philippony, they they went out and they
- 25:00Speaker 3: signed a receiver and DK metcalf who Oh, by the way,
- 25:05Speaker 3: Aaron Rodgers and he were throwing and catching the ball.
- 25:09Speaker 3: They've had workouts together, and that Aaron Rodgers did not
- 25:14Speaker 3: throw the ball to George Pickens. And oh, by the way,
- 25:16Speaker 3: George Pickens has now been traded away for the team.
- 25:19Speaker 3: He has really laid down a snapshot of all of
- 25:23Speaker 3: the things that have been done by the Pittsburgh Steelers
- 25:26Speaker 3: to make way for Aaron Rodgers. That indeed, Aaron Rodgers
- 25:30Speaker 3: is ultimately, at forty one years of age, gonna come
- 25:34Speaker 3: walking through that door at the appointed time. Even Aaron
- 25:37Speaker 3: Rodgers said on the Pat McAfee show, the people are
- 25:40Speaker 3: who need to know, No, that's what Aaron Rodgers said.
- 25:44Speaker 3: So Andrew Philipponi did a really good job of painting
- 25:46Speaker 3: a picture that shows that this team has already made
- 25:49Speaker 3: way for aaronon later joined them at some point in June,
- 25:54Speaker 3: in the month of June, as they're going into the
- 25:56Speaker 3: mandatory portion of minicamp, and that indeed he will be
- 26:00Speaker 3: their quarterback for the start of the twenty twenty five season.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Let's do another quarterback situation. Let's go to the Browns.
- 26:07Speaker 1: How much weight do you put into rookie camp throwing
- 26:09Speaker 1: against air? Because that's what's happening right now. What shoulder
- 26:13Speaker 1: and that's what's happening right now with Dylan Gabriel. And
- 26:15Speaker 1: depending on who you read, you know shoulder is killing
- 26:18Speaker 1: it or Dylan Gabriel is doing fine. But how much
- 26:20Speaker 1: way do you put in that?
- 26:21Speaker 6: Now?
- 26:23Speaker 7: None, z ro.
- 26:26Speaker 3: At no point in an NFL game are you throwing
- 26:30Speaker 3: against air. Here's what the real deal looks like. A
- 26:36Speaker 3: mean fast pass rush right that obstructs vision, that is
- 26:41Speaker 3: meant to hurry up the processing of the quarterback and
- 26:45Speaker 3: is meant to apply it's gonna apply pressure to the quarterback. Oh,
- 26:50Speaker 3: by the way, there's gonna be coverage on the on
- 26:52Speaker 3: the guys that you're throwing to called NFL wide receivers,
- 26:56Speaker 3: they're gonna be in tight coverage. And oh, by the way,
- 26:59Speaker 3: your pre snap read is going to be different than
- 27:02Speaker 3: what the coverage actually looks like once the ball is snapped.
- 27:06Speaker 3: So those are the elements that you're going to be
- 27:09Speaker 3: facing when a game starts as an NFL quarterback. And
- 27:14Speaker 3: trust me, that is night and day from throwing the
- 27:18Speaker 3: ball against air at a practice facility in the NFL.
- 27:23Speaker 7: So I put no nothing on that. I don't put
- 27:27Speaker 7: anything on that at all.
- 27:28Speaker 1: There's always a couple teams who go from not making
- 27:30Speaker 1: the playoffs to making the playoffs. Who do you feel
- 27:32Speaker 1: like this year is set up.
- 27:33Speaker 7: To do that? That's a very good question.
- 27:36Speaker 3: I think potentially the Atlanta Falcons, with the assets that
- 27:39Speaker 3: they brought in drafting two players in the first round
- 27:44Speaker 3: on defense, right, I think Michael Pennick Junior is capable
- 27:49Speaker 3: of playing at a high level. That's going to give
- 27:53Speaker 3: them some consistency at the quarterback position. Because they have
- 27:56Speaker 3: the weapons. They have a great offensive line, They have
- 27:59Speaker 3: good running backs and Tyler Aljier and b John Robinson.
- 28:03Speaker 3: You have really good wide receivers and a tight end
- 28:05Speaker 3: and Kyle Pitts and Drake London. They just need a
- 28:09Speaker 3: quarterback to play consistently. Remember before they went on that
- 28:12Speaker 3: five game stretch where Kirk Cousins. They were one in
- 28:16Speaker 3: four in that five game stretch, and I think he
- 28:18Speaker 3: had one touchdown in eight interceptions. They were the leaders
- 28:23Speaker 3: in the NFC South Division and looked like they were
- 28:25Speaker 3: going to the playoffs. They lose four out of five,
- 28:28Speaker 3: they don't make it to the playoffs, and now Michael
- 28:31Speaker 3: Pennock Junior is going to be their starter. So that's
- 28:33Speaker 3: one of those teams that I would look out for.
- 28:36Speaker 3: So that's one in terms of a team that didn't
- 28:40Speaker 3: make it to the playoffs the year before. Look, I
- 28:43Speaker 3: do think the Washington Commanders were one of those teams
- 28:46Speaker 3: last year. You put a really good quarterback in the
- 28:50Speaker 3: lineup in Atlanta, and I think they could be the
- 28:52Speaker 3: team this year.
- 28:53Speaker 1: You mentioned George Pickens earlier. I get it traded from
- 28:56Speaker 1: Pittsburgh to Dallas with massive Cowboys fans on this show.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Not me, but they are a massive Cowboys fancier with me.
- 29:03Speaker 1: I feel like they give Ceedee Lamb somebody to distract
- 29:07Speaker 1: from constant double coverages. But Pickings seem to be, if
- 29:11Speaker 1: you were to read and talk to people, a bit
- 29:14Speaker 1: problematic at times. How do you think he'll gel in Dallas?
- 29:18Speaker 3: Look, I think the Cowboys could be one of those
- 29:20Speaker 3: teams right that didn't make the playoffs last year but
- 29:22Speaker 3: could go to this year.
- 29:23Speaker 7: The reason why I didn't mention them was because have
- 29:26Speaker 7: you seen their schedule?
- 29:27Speaker 3: By the way, have you seen the way his schedule looks,
- 29:29Speaker 3: particularly at the back end of the season. It's gonna
- 29:32Speaker 3: be a gauntlet. And you know, Brian Schottenheimer is the
- 29:36Speaker 3: first time head coach. He's got to do a lot
- 29:38Speaker 3: to get I think a lot of pieces to come together,
- 29:42Speaker 3: including the run game, including the wide receivers around Dak Prescott,
- 29:47Speaker 3: and George Pickens is one of them. Why he is
- 29:50Speaker 3: a talented route run I think he has excellent speed
- 29:54Speaker 3: to be a vertical threat within the offense. I think
- 29:57Speaker 3: that's something that was missing last year in the offense.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Ceedee Lamb had to kind of do everything. George Pickens
- 30:04Speaker 3: can provide a lot of assets and positive moments as
- 30:07Speaker 3: a productive wide receiver. Problem is, he tends to pull
- 30:10Speaker 3: the pin on his own hand.
- 30:12Speaker 7: Today.
- 30:12Speaker 3: He tends to get emotional at times and can be
- 30:16Speaker 3: baited by the opponent to draw a flag that negates
- 30:22Speaker 3: the positive plays that he brings. And so at the
- 30:25Speaker 3: end of the day, you know, he's a he's gonna
- 30:28Speaker 3: give you a couple of good plays, He's gonna give
- 30:30Speaker 3: you a couple of bad plays, but the net total
- 30:32Speaker 3: is zero.
- 30:34Speaker 7: He giveth and he taketh away. And so that's where
- 30:36Speaker 7: he's had a problem.
- 30:38Speaker 3: Needs to mature, Big Time, needs to be more mentally
- 30:41Speaker 3: disciplined and cannot allow himself to be goaded and to
- 30:46Speaker 3: draw penalty flags that tends to cost his team at
- 30:49Speaker 3: critical moments in football games.
- 30:51Speaker 1: We were talking about the schedule and just how many
- 30:53Speaker 1: games there are in Europe, even in Mexico, but how
- 30:55Speaker 1: many games are on Europe this year, from Germany to
- 30:58Speaker 1: London to How hard is that for these players?
- 31:03Speaker 3: Well, it's a time change, right, You're talking about five
- 31:06Speaker 3: hours earlier in the day if you're in London, for instance,
- 31:11Speaker 3: right ahead of East Coast town east Eastern Standard time
- 31:16Speaker 3: in New York. So imagine if you're playing a one
- 31:19Speaker 3: o'clock game on the East Coast, you're getting up about seven,
- 31:23Speaker 3: you're having your breakfast around eight, you're getting to the
- 31:25Speaker 3: stadium three hours before kickoff, right one o'clock, so that
- 31:30Speaker 3: you're getting there about ten, and then you're getting ready
- 31:34Speaker 3: for the game. So now let's move that up five
- 31:38Speaker 3: hours earlier, right, and you're not getting to the stadium
- 31:42Speaker 3: at ten am. You're getting there five hours prior to that.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Think about it in terms of your biological clock. So
- 31:49Speaker 3: that's a challenge. It's a challenge for all the players
- 31:51Speaker 3: going there. But look, these guys are conditioned. You know,
- 31:54Speaker 3: there's gonna be games in Dublin, Ireland, There's gonna be
- 31:56Speaker 3: three in London. It's gonna be a game in Berlin, Germany,
- 32:00Speaker 3: another in Madrid, and another in Brazil. Uh, these guys
- 32:05Speaker 3: will adjust. The teams are gonna get them out there
- 32:07Speaker 3: a whole week ahead of the game, so they will
- 32:11Speaker 3: be adjusted by game day and getting up at the
- 32:14Speaker 3: pointed time, getting on the practice field, being ready to
- 32:18Speaker 3: go to work. But there's an adjustment, but I don't
- 32:20Speaker 3: I don't see it as an impediment for playing at
- 32:24Speaker 3: a very high level.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Let's talk about college football for a second. You played
- 32:27Speaker 1: at Colorado, the health, the vibes of Colorado.
- 32:31Speaker 9: Now, hey man, as everything's alive and well, I think
- 32:35Speaker 9: Prime coach Prime's done a really good job with the
- 32:38Speaker 9: program that only won one game before his arrival, and
- 32:43Speaker 9: then we win nine games in his second year and
- 32:45Speaker 9: go to a bowl game.
- 32:47Speaker 3: We were just one win shy of really being in
- 32:49Speaker 3: the playoffs, and now that we've got some expansion, you know,
- 32:53Speaker 3: I think that's I think that's the goal. The goal
- 32:56Speaker 3: is to be able to get into the college football
- 32:58Speaker 3: playoffs and and get into the tournament and see what
- 33:01Speaker 3: we can do from there. I think another thing that
- 33:03Speaker 3: you've got to look at. I don't think it's talked
- 33:05Speaker 3: about enough. With CU and University of Colorado football and
- 33:10Speaker 3: the job that coach Prime has done, the entire football
- 33:14Speaker 3: team had an average grade point average above three point zero.
- 33:17Speaker 3: We've been playing football at the University of Colorado for
- 33:20Speaker 3: over one hundred years, and it's the highest collective average
- 33:24Speaker 3: of great point average or any football team in the
- 33:27Speaker 3: history of the institution. Enrollment is up by forty percent.
- 33:32Speaker 3: With you and I both know that's the other scorecard
- 33:36Speaker 3: that the institution usually is graded on.
- 33:39Speaker 7: Are we in upping our enrollment?
- 33:41Speaker 3: Can they charge more for admissions and for you know,
- 33:46Speaker 3: what's required to get and earn a degree after four years?
- 33:50Speaker 7: All of the metrics are up.
- 33:53Speaker 3: They're selling out the university, they're selling out game days,
- 33:56Speaker 3: the hotels are sold out, the merchandise has sold out,
- 34:00Speaker 3: so you might say Coach Prime is winning in the
- 34:03Speaker 3: economic vertical, but now we're alstill winning on the field
- 34:07Speaker 3: as well. That's what college coaches and athletic coaches are
- 34:12Speaker 3: passed to do to grow the brand. So it's kind
- 34:15Speaker 3: of like that rising tide that lifts all ships. That's
- 34:19Speaker 3: what Coach Prime has meant to the University of Colorado.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Have two final questions. Who has more pressure on him
- 34:24Speaker 1: this year? Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson.
- 34:29Speaker 3: I think I think both have expectations to perform at
- 34:33Speaker 3: a high level. I think both have now the fan bases.
- 34:37Speaker 3: To your question, I think what you're really getting at
- 34:40Speaker 3: is is about ton Now, after delivering MVPs and getting
- 34:44Speaker 3: your team to the playoffs year after year, they both
- 34:48Speaker 3: sit in that position where they've not been able to
- 34:50Speaker 3: get past Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas
- 34:53Speaker 3: City Chiefs. They've not been able to get to the
- 34:56Speaker 3: Super Bowl, let alone win one. And whether it's Mahomes
- 35:00Speaker 3: are Joe Burrow, those have been the teams and the
- 35:05Speaker 3: quarterbacks that have kind of stood in their way. So
- 35:08Speaker 3: as good as they've been, they've been able to win.
- 35:10Speaker 3: They haven't been able to punch the ticket to the
- 35:12Speaker 3: Super Bowl or win it, and that's what brings with
- 35:15Speaker 3: it some pressure. Here's the thing, I think both coaches
- 35:20Speaker 3: and both teams have done a good job of managing
- 35:24Speaker 3: the expectations. I think while there is an expectation to
- 35:27Speaker 3: win a Super Bowl, both coaches have done a wonderful
- 35:30Speaker 3: job of saying, look, it's like anything else, you got
- 35:33Speaker 3: to just keep getting there. You got to just continue
- 35:35Speaker 3: to battle to get there, and then one year you've
- 35:37Speaker 3: got to break through. And so I do think there's
- 35:40Speaker 3: high expectations to break through. But I don't know that
- 35:44Speaker 3: anyone's banging the drum that we're gonna run them out
- 35:47Speaker 3: of town if it doesn't happen, because I think both guys,
- 35:50Speaker 3: both quarterbacks, have shown enough seeds of goodwill and are
- 35:54Speaker 3: still playing in their prime right that I think most
- 35:59Speaker 3: believe that the INDO is wide open for both Lamar
- 36:02Speaker 3: Jackson and Josh Allen.
- 36:04Speaker 1: I'm want to show you this soliment. It'll make sense
- 36:06Speaker 1: to you, but this is a metal I want and
- 36:07Speaker 1: pickle ball this week in pickleball tournament, right here there go,
- 36:10Speaker 1: there we go? Right, Yeah, this is my big athlete
- 36:13Speaker 1: I had a big week last week. I shot under
- 36:15Speaker 1: eighty for the first time. I shot a seventy eight
- 36:16Speaker 1: playing golf, and then I finished third in a pickleball
- 36:19Speaker 1: tournament right here. So I'm pretty pumped about this. But
- 36:22Speaker 1: I saw a Pickleballknee dot com. You're going to New

- 37:40Speaker 1: I'm for sure going to Heart of Knee playing pickleball.
- 37:42Speaker 1: I think I still got it, and I don't quite

- 40:02Speaker 1: am I going to the city? So okay, what did
- 40:07Speaker 1: you guys do?
- 40:09Speaker 6: We stayed at his parents' house.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Okay, okay, so uncle whose parents?
- 40:16Speaker 6: Dawson my my roommate that was in Nashville.
- 40:19Speaker 4: So parents were out of town.
- 40:21Speaker 5: Then no, they were there.
- 40:23Speaker 1: Oh that's good. Nice. So you go to Dawson's parents'
- 40:28Speaker 1: house to stay, so that means, hey, party is already going.
- 40:32Speaker 1: I mean you're probably staying in like a basement too, right, dude.
- 40:36Speaker 6: They were actually so like we walked into our rooms
- 40:39Speaker 6: and they had towels on our beds with like a
- 40:41Speaker 6: bottle of water, like folded like a five star hotel.
- 40:44Speaker 4: What are the towels for?
- 40:46Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 40:46Speaker 1: What are you guys playing that night? Yeah?
- 40:49Speaker 6: I mean the towns were great. They cook in the morning,
- 40:52Speaker 6: his mom cooked me breakfast.
- 40:54Speaker 7: It's great.
- 40:54Speaker 5: Okay, Okay, now this is starting to sound like a
- 40:57Speaker 5: bastard party, right, No, this sounds like you're staying with
- 40:59Speaker 5: your grandma.
- 41:00Speaker 1: It sounds like it's so far. Okay. And by the way,
- 41:03Speaker 1: I'm lames crap. We didn't not I did nothing like
- 41:06Speaker 1: Wild and Crazy online. But okay, so you go, you're
- 41:09Speaker 1: standing at your buddy's parents house, you had towels and
- 41:12Speaker 1: water on your bed. You wake up, his parents make
- 41:15Speaker 1: you breakfast, right mm hmm Okay, then what do you do?
- 41:20Speaker 6: So then that whole day was basically mean Stone. We
- 41:24Speaker 6: had to go, We had to get a rental car
- 41:26Speaker 6: and go pick up the other boys at the airport.
- 41:30Speaker 6: And so we got to the We got to the
- 41:31Speaker 6: airport and got all done with that around around eleven
- 41:36Speaker 6: or twelve something like that. And so the plan was
- 41:39Speaker 6: to go play golf, but it was pouring rain. Oh no,
- 41:44Speaker 6: I know, so that ended up not happening.
- 41:47Speaker 1: So spend the boy, I can tell you.
- 41:50Speaker 6: Instead, we just yeah, instead, we just did heaven.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, then what you did read.
- 42:02Speaker 6: We went to this golf stimulator place in the city. Yeah,
- 42:07Speaker 6: it was, I mean, he lives in East Brunswick. So
- 42:10Speaker 6: we went and got some pizza.
- 42:13Speaker 1: In New York City. You went into East No chance.
- 42:17Speaker 6: No, we didn't even go going to New York.
- 42:19Speaker 1: No.
- 42:20Speaker 6: Yeah, we just yeah, we stayed.
- 42:22Speaker 1: So you simulated in the day. Okay, Then what happened dude?
- 42:27Speaker 6: Okay, let's see, this is Friday.
- 42:29Speaker 7: What do we do?
- 42:30Speaker 4: What happened at night?
- 42:31Speaker 1: Party? That was cool? The sega out?
- 42:36Speaker 6: What did we do that night?
- 42:37Speaker 1: Oh no either, he doesn't even remember, dude. Did you
- 42:41Speaker 1: guys all root for each other? Like everybody? Nobody remembers.
- 42:50Speaker 4: See what happens, dude, that's crazy.
- 42:53Speaker 6: I actually don't remember what what did we do that? Okay,
- 42:58Speaker 6: Friday night it rained, we went and we hit the
- 43:00Speaker 6: simulator and then what do we do? What did we do?
- 43:05Speaker 1: This sounds awesome, This sounds like sounds like white lotus.
- 43:10Speaker 1: I'll say nothing more.
- 43:11Speaker 6: Go ahead, dude, I got calendar.
- 43:14Speaker 4: Hold on, how do you remember read?
- 43:17Speaker 1: Did you guys get?
- 43:18Speaker 6: I really don't no, not at all. Oh I'm an idiot.
- 43:24Speaker 6: I know we did.
- 43:27Speaker 5: I got, I got forgot, I got I got my.
- 43:31Speaker 6: Days mixed up. Okay, so yeah, during the day we went,
- 43:33Speaker 6: we went to the golf simulator. But then we drove
- 43:35Speaker 6: to Atlantic City.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Okay, now we're talking now.
- 43:38Speaker 6: Yeah, and then it was like a two hour drive
- 43:42Speaker 6: something like that. So we got down to Atlantic City,
- 43:44Speaker 6: checked in the hotel.
- 43:45Speaker 1: By the time we were in the guys, let me
- 43:47Speaker 1: just pause for a second. Dude, drove two hours to
- 43:50Speaker 1: Atlantic City and you don't remember that.
- 43:53Speaker 6: I don't remember which day it was. Mad So we
- 43:57Speaker 6: get to Atlantic City, we check in, We don't even
- 43:59Speaker 6: get dressed until like eleven o'clock at night, so that's
- 44:04Speaker 6: that's when we started going. So it's like eleven o'clock
- 44:07Speaker 6: we get to the to the hotel casino, we go
- 44:10Speaker 6: eat some food, get all dressed up. We're all wearing suits,
- 44:16Speaker 6: and we go down and.
- 44:17Speaker 1: We hit the crabs table and how long did you last?
- 44:21Speaker 6: We actually, we actually lasted. I think one of my
- 44:26Speaker 6: buddies hating he rolled for like an hour and a half.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Did you guys want a bunch of money?
- 44:32Speaker 6: It was great? Everybody won like six hundred dollars. I
- 44:35Speaker 6: lost all of mine.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Okay, how are you the one that lost? You're always
- 44:38Speaker 1: on the wins the easiest game.
- 44:40Speaker 6: I was like, this is the night, man, I'm just
- 44:42Speaker 6: gonna you know, I wanted to spend five hundred dollars
- 44:44Speaker 6: and that's my limit. So I was up, like, you know,
- 44:47Speaker 6: six hundred dollars. I was like, you know, just I'll
- 44:49Speaker 6: keep going when I get down to five hundred, off stop.
- 44:52Speaker 6: So that's why I did. Man, I actually lost one
- 44:54Speaker 6: hundred and ninety.
- 44:55Speaker 1: So everything you do that and then you sleep. What
- 44:57Speaker 1: time you wake up the next day?
- 45:00Speaker 6: See, we got to bed around three thirty ish, and
- 45:04Speaker 6: then we had to wake up at five to drive
- 45:09Speaker 6: to the golf course because.
- 45:10Speaker 1: It's an hour and a half. I wouldn't eve wanted
- 45:13Speaker 1: to play.
- 45:14Speaker 6: It was not good. It was not good. So we Uh, So,
- 45:18Speaker 6: since we didn't get to play on Friday, We're like,
- 45:20Speaker 6: we'll just double up and play two rounds on Saturday.
- 45:23Speaker 6: We walk up. Yeah, yeah, And so we got to
- 45:27Speaker 6: we had to drive like an hour to the golf course,
- 45:30Speaker 6: and so we teed off at seven fifteen something like that.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Are you still in a sit?
- 45:35Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 45:35Speaker 4: At this point.
- 45:38Speaker 6: I thought about it. I thought that might be the
- 45:40Speaker 6: easiest case because I could shave off like thirty minutes
- 45:43Speaker 6: or not. Sure.
- 45:44Speaker 1: Okay, so did you make both rounds? Did you play
- 45:46Speaker 1: thirty six holes?
- 45:48Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 45:48Speaker 1: We played.
- 45:49Speaker 6: We played thirty six holes.
- 45:50Speaker 1: That's exhaust.
- 45:53Speaker 6: But what's hilarious is I booked two tea times at
- 45:55Speaker 6: two different courses. And I was booking tea times left
- 45:58Speaker 6: and right because I didn't know what was going to happen.
- 46:01Speaker 6: I didn't know if we were gonna be able to
- 46:02Speaker 6: make it or anything like that. So I got the
- 46:05Speaker 6: tea times mixed up for the second round at a

- 46:18Speaker 6: He's like, looks like your tea time was in that
- 46:22Speaker 6: hour and a half ago. I was like, oh, man,
- 46:26Speaker 6: I thought I looked it for Friday.

- 46:52Speaker 6: were swinging the freaking golf club.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Nice and yeah, drive how long you went home back
- 46:56Speaker 1: to East Brunswick.
- 46:57Speaker 7: Back the.
- 46:59Speaker 6: Jesus was that Saturday.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Take a calendar, buddy. He's like, I don't know what

- 47:07Speaker 1: played crap.
- 47:07Speaker 3: Dude.
- 47:08Speaker 6: It's literally it's literally so much. So then we after
- 47:11Speaker 6: that we drove back to East Brunswick, which was like
- 47:14Speaker 6: an hour and a half. We got back there like
- 47:18Speaker 6: nine thirty. We got to his parents' house. We showered, okay,

- 47:38Speaker 6: the city and so New York City. Man. We didn't
- 47:42Speaker 6: get to New York City until like eleven, and driving
- 47:44Speaker 6: downtown New York City with a rental car is probably
- 47:48Speaker 6: the worst thing I have ever done in my entire life.
- 47:51Speaker 1: Why do we know?
- 47:52Speaker 4: You guys should have taken the train?
- 47:53Speaker 7: Man?

- 48:13Speaker 6: Actually had no time to do anything once we got there.
- 48:15Speaker 6: It's pretty lame.
- 48:16Speaker 7: What did you do?
- 48:18Speaker 6: We just went to these two little bars. One bar,
- 48:20Speaker 6: it's like a listening room. It's called a music aquarium.
- 48:23Speaker 6: You go in there and you sit down in front
- 48:25Speaker 6: of these speakers and just drink drinks and listen to music.
- 48:28Speaker 1: What that's called a bar?
- 48:32Speaker 4: Does every table have a different song? Or I don't understand.
- 48:36Speaker 6: It was like seventies. They had all this like seventies
- 48:39Speaker 6: equipment and stuff like that. Is yeah, this dude we
- 48:42Speaker 6: walked in and this dude was like he like went
- 48:46Speaker 6: to us real quick. He was like, hey, man, hey guys,
- 48:48Speaker 6: he what's up?
- 48:48Speaker 7: Dude?
- 48:49Speaker 6: We just had this wild party in here, so like
- 48:52Speaker 6: you all are the first ones after that. So there's
- 48:54Speaker 6: like that's why there's nobody in here.
- 48:56Speaker 1: But like, let me go show this to you.
- 48:59Speaker 6: Get was this whole tour and we're like this, dude,
- 49:01Speaker 6: they're definitely one. Was not a party in this place.
- 49:05Speaker 6: There was nobody in there. He was just saying that
- 49:09Speaker 6: to make us stay.
- 49:10Speaker 1: And we had one drink and we left and you
- 49:12Speaker 1: went back home to East Brunswick.
- 49:15Speaker 6: So Dawson and Hayden drove back to East Brunswick. Me
- 49:20Speaker 6: and Stone stayed in Chinatown at the hotel.
- 49:27Speaker 1: Why why I hat even asking why.
- 49:31Speaker 6: Dude, dude, the water pressure on the sceint.

- 49:39Speaker 1: I'm not falling down the hole. Why did you go
- 49:42Speaker 1: to chat?
- 49:44Speaker 6: Because we were flying out of Laguardi and me and

- 50:08Speaker 4: It was high water.
- 50:09Speaker 6: Were trying to shoot with the water super pressure?
- 50:11Speaker 1: What part of you to shoot when it hit you
- 50:13Speaker 1: in the belly button.
- 50:15Speaker 6: I wasn't trying to get a fancy massage or something.
- 50:17Speaker 6: I was just trying to wash my hands.
- 50:18Speaker 1: You see every button naked, like sitting on the sinking
- 50:21Speaker 1: Get it needs to be touched by something, dude.
- 50:27Speaker 6: The whole bathroom is like one of those it's like
- 50:30Speaker 6: a cube of those windows that's like it's kind of blurry,
- 50:33Speaker 6: but you can still kind of make out what's going
- 50:35Speaker 6: on inside there. But like like the Stone and the
- 50:39Speaker 6: guys when they were in there, they can literally see
- 50:41Speaker 6: everything that's going on in that bathroom, Like they can
- 50:43Speaker 6: see you bend over to like wipe your cheeks. They
- 50:46Speaker 6: can see everything.
