Dalaran's Full History: From the Troll Wars to the Fall of the City of Magic
World of Warcraft Dalaran lore story, the complete history of the city of magic and the Kirin Tor, from a haven for distrusted wizards to the violet dome, the floating years and the city's final fall.
Dalaran began as a market town where a mage named Ardogan promised Arathor's feared sorcerers a place to live freely. It became the greatest seat of human magic in the world, founded the Council of Tirisfal and the Kirin Tor, was crushed to dust by Archimonde, hid behind a violet dome, flew to Northrend and the Broken Isles, and finally fell out of the sky onto the Isle of Dorn.
