Ann Jolliffe, beloved pillar of the Banks Peninsula community and longtime public servant, passed away at 92 after a lifetime of dedication to her town. Serving 24 years on the District Council and Lyttelton Mt Herbert Community Board, she was known for her integrity, tireless work, and warm, personal connections. Beyond politics, she championed local heritage through the Cressy House Trust and Lyttelton Historical Museum Society.
