- Yoel Bakas: A proforma signed before April of 2026 was signed against a different reimbursement environment. Most proformas were based on some number. That year 1 number may no longer be applicable. And most proformas don't look past year 1. Year one will look fine. Year two, when the warranty ends and the service contract kicks in, is a different story. That's when your gap in the P&L shows up. If a capital decision for your program now was based on a proforma built before April, you have to redo the math. Because that math is not the math that your program will run on. Rebuilding that pro forma before signature is always cheaper than rebuilding it after.
