- 0:21Speaker 1: Stoom and.
- 1:02Speaker 2: This might be one of the stupidest stories we've come
- 1:07Speaker 2: across in quite some time. And that's saying a lot
- 1:10Speaker 2: for us.
- 1:10Speaker 3: I was about to say, those are very very strong words.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Court documents revealed that a Anderson woman's Uber ride to
- 1:16Speaker 2: the pharmacy started off strange when her driver asked her
- 1:20Speaker 2: to drive instead of him going along with it. The
- 1:24Speaker 2: situation worsened when he reportedly began to fondle her from
- 1:27Speaker 2: the back seat. Okay and now, a thirty year old
- 1:32Speaker 2: Indianapolis man is charged with one count of sexual battery
- 1:36Speaker 2: along with the misdemeanor count of battery. According to documents,
- 1:39Speaker 2: the woman ordered an Uber because she needed to head
- 1:41Speaker 2: to CBS and pick up her medication. The woman said
- 1:44Speaker 2: her Uber ride started bizarrely straight off the bat when
- 1:46Speaker 2: the man, who was reportedly deaf and has an intellectual disability,
- 1:50Speaker 2: handed the woman his phone with a message on it
- 1:53Speaker 2: asking her to drive. The woman told police she knew
- 1:56Speaker 2: it was odd and not allowed by Uber, but she
- 1:59Speaker 2: decided I did to go along with it because she
- 2:01Speaker 2: really needed to get to the pharmacy and didn't want
- 2:03Speaker 2: to wait around for another Uber driver as there are
- 2:06Speaker 2: few of them. In Anderson, Indiana Now. While driving to CVS,
- 2:11Speaker 2: the man reportedly kept trying to show her messages on
- 2:13Speaker 2: her phone. Some of the messages were inappropriate, so just
- 2:17Speaker 2: telling her the size of his penis and seemingly asking
- 2:19Speaker 2: for a hand job. M I like to point out,
- 2:23Speaker 2: this is the first time of the history of my
- 2:24Speaker 2: news director career that I've ever seen the word hand
- 2:26Speaker 2: job in an actual news article. Yeah, the woman said.
- 2:32Speaker 2: At one point, he reached his hand under her shirt
- 2:35Speaker 2: and grabbed her breast, causing her to slap his hand
- 2:37Speaker 2: away and nearly drive off the road. The woman said
- 2:40Speaker 2: she kept showing the man her wedding ring, telling him
- 2:43Speaker 2: she's married, but he only mouthed how much. According to
- 2:48Speaker 2: court records, the woman how much? How much?
- 2:51Speaker 4: How much?
- 2:53Speaker 2: I don't know if he's asking her like how much
- 2:55Speaker 2: to do this, or like how much? Are you married?
- 2:57Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 2:58Speaker 2: According to court wrecks, the woman decided to pretend she
- 3:01Speaker 2: found his antics hilarious in order to trick him into
- 3:04Speaker 2: letting her take a photograph of him, along with taking
- 3:06Speaker 2: photographs of some of the messages he was showing her,
- 3:09Speaker 2: including one that said how.
- 3:11Speaker 3: To hand job In the end of ahead of their time.
- 3:15Speaker 2: After after picking up her prescription, the man reportedly reached forward,
- 3:19Speaker 2: daring the drive back to her home, and then groped
- 3:22Speaker 2: her between the legs over the top of her pants.
- 3:26Speaker 2: So okay, I'm.
- 3:36Speaker 3: She tricked him into into getting all the evidence and
- 3:40Speaker 3: then it was like, hey, can you drop me back off?
- 3:47Speaker 2: After suffering the assault to CVS, she decided to let
- 3:51Speaker 2: the assault her drive her back home.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Huh uh.
- 3:57Speaker 5: Shooter of herself back home?
- 3:59Speaker 1: My bad?
- 4:00Speaker 3: Right, Okay, this is okay, Yeah.
- 4:05Speaker 2: It's getting weird, isn't it. Police Police later spoke to
- 4:10Speaker 2: the man, who denied ever touching the woman and said
- 4:13Speaker 2: he was respectful. He did admit to writing the the
- 4:17Speaker 2: inappropriate messages, but claimed he was just joking around. The
- 4:20Speaker 2: man's guardian, I'm going to say that again for the
- 4:24Speaker 2: people in the back. The man's guardian told police he
- 4:29Speaker 2: suffers from an intellectual disability, cerebral palsy and frontal lobe
- 4:33Speaker 2: syndrome in addition to being deaf, and said the man
- 4:38Speaker 2: doesn't always know right from wrong and thinks some things
- 4:40Speaker 2: are funny that are not funny to normal people. That's
- 4:45Speaker 2: her saying that, and he's an uber driver. Yeah, now
- 4:51Speaker 2: in he Uber. Uber stated that the man has been
- 4:53Speaker 2: removed from their platform, calling his allegations deeply disturbing. We
- 4:57Speaker 2: take all reports of sexual misconduct very seriously, and the
- 5:00Speaker 2: driver's access to the Uber platform as soon as it
- 5:02Speaker 2: was reported to us. Despite the man having several disabilities
- 5:05Speaker 2: that could potentially hinder his ability to safely drive, investigators
- 5:10Speaker 2: did not mention the man having no driver's license or
- 5:13Speaker 2: being suspended from driving.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Oh my god, is Indiana or in India?
- 5:18Speaker 2: Indiana?
- 5:19Speaker 3: Okay, because this sounds very India, okay. So. Frontal lobe
- 5:24Speaker 3: syndrome is a broad term used to describe the damage
- 5:26Speaker 3: of higher functioning processes of the brain, such as motivation, planning,
- 5:30Speaker 3: social behavior, and language and speech production.
- 5:33Speaker 2: I know lots of people like that. Ironically enough, they're
- 5:35Speaker 2: working radio speaking of Now. I know this is this
- 5:41Speaker 2: might be a troubling situation for many people, especially if
- 5:47Speaker 2: you've been an actual victim of assault. Yes, and we
- 5:52Speaker 2: respect that. Don't want to make light of that. This
- 5:55Speaker 2: particular situation we're going to make light of because it's
- 5:57Speaker 2: it's a ridiculous story, because how often do you you're like, well,
- 6:02Speaker 2: you know, yeah, my Uber driver attacked me, but there's
- 6:05Speaker 2: only so many of them, so I let him let
- 6:08Speaker 2: me drive us back to my house. To that end,
- 6:12Speaker 2: not only did Trey find the news article about the
- 6:15Speaker 2: wildest Uber ride in the history of Uber, but he
- 6:22Speaker 2: also found the nine one one call that the woman placed.
- 6:25Speaker 2: But keep in mind, way to change the voice to
- 6:28Speaker 2: protect the identity of the woman who is accusing the
- 6:32Speaker 2: Uber driver of fondling her.
- 6:34Speaker 6: Anderson, what's your emergency? Oh my goodness, ma'am, are you okay?
- 6:41Speaker 6: Are you safe right now? Sure? So he was reaching
- 6:44Speaker 6: around while he was driving. That's so dangerous. He must
- 6:47Speaker 6: have been terrified. Okay, tell me what happened well, Thorn
- 6:53Speaker 6: and Uber. When I walked up to the door, he
- 6:56Speaker 6: had me a note asking your by one driver. I'm sorry.
- 6:58Speaker 6: Did you say your driver asked you to drive?
- 7:02Speaker 4: Ye?
- 7:02Speaker 6: And that didn't concern you? You know, it's ride share,
- 7:05Speaker 6: not drive share. Mm hmm okay, so you're driving the
- 7:08Speaker 6: luber to CBS. What happened next? He was typing me
- 7:11Speaker 6: messages on his phone asking for things and and showing
- 7:14Speaker 6: me things. Well, what kinds of things?
- 7:16Speaker 4: Asked?
- 7:17Speaker 6: Like a turn to punch bowl? No, he was showing
- 7:20Speaker 6: me his we we asking me to play with it,
- 7:22Speaker 6: and he was trying to feel my boobs. Ma'am. Did
- 7:25Speaker 6: you say his wi weed? Yes, it was rather small.
- 7:29Speaker 6: Oh okay, So what happened then?
- 7:31Speaker 4: Well?
- 7:31Speaker 6: I took some pictures with him when we got to CBS.
- 7:33Speaker 6: Then I went inside. Okay, so you're at CBS. Okay,
- 7:36Speaker 6: tell me which one and I'll have units there immediately. No,
- 7:39Speaker 6: I'm not at TVA. So you had to run from
- 7:42Speaker 6: this monster? Oh my goodness. Okay, tell me some landmarks
- 7:44Speaker 6: and we'll find you. No, I'm a home. How did
- 7:46Speaker 6: you get home? I drove his car. Wait, you got
- 7:49Speaker 6: back in the car with him? If he got more
- 7:51Speaker 6: aggressive on the way home. He even tried to put
- 7:54Speaker 6: his fingers in me. Dirty blazes, you know what. I
- 7:56Speaker 6: hope he's fish. Did you right in your hands? Seriously?
- 7:58Speaker 6: Are you a parent? Shot?
- 8:01Speaker 4: What?
- 8:02Speaker 7: Okay?
- 8:12Speaker 3: Serve and protect.
- 8:16Speaker 5: Very much?
- 8:17Speaker 6: I think that hold on, ma'am.
- 8:20Speaker 8: All units shots fired, Officer in danger. Yeah, totally endangered.
- 8:24Speaker 8: This woman I'm talking to has a gun. It is
- 8:26Speaker 8: threatening everybody.
- 8:28Speaker 6: Mam. Do you do marketing for a butt like?
- 8:30Speaker 2: No?
- 8:31Speaker 6: Do you happen to work in radio? Why? I find
- 8:34Speaker 6: president of the format changes at by Heart Radio. Oh okay, yes,
- 8:37Speaker 6: that explains that you are a special all.
- 8:40Speaker 8: Units that's called bomb Swat. It's your chits to shine.
- 8:44Speaker 8: We'll get the robots.
- 8:45Speaker 6: You got a little of Dodger's jersey on it.

- 10:38Speaker 2: What are the two of you have been doing now
- 10:40Speaker 2: that the porn hubbits pulled out of Texas, picked up knitting, exercising,
- 10:47Speaker 2: maybe found another porn site to.
- 10:49Speaker 5: Frequent ex amster.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Go on the hamster out. I saw a story the
- 10:58Speaker 2: other day that, in addition to the lovely headline writing
- 11:02Speaker 2: at KPRC in Houston, which said pornhub pulls out of Texas,
- 11:07Speaker 2: but in their story they actually mentioned how pornhub is
- 11:12Speaker 2: the second most popular porn website in the world. So
- 11:19Speaker 2: naturally I had to google what's the number one? I
- 11:22Speaker 2: really I thought, I assumed it was Pornhub. They're the
- 11:24Speaker 2: one with you and everyone knows about. Turns out it's
- 11:27Speaker 2: ex videos. If anyone is curious That's not the only
- 11:31Speaker 2: tidbit of information that I'm going to offer you today.
- 11:34Speaker 3: One of the.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Interesting things to come out of this is now some
- 11:38Speaker 2: people that may not have been as tech savvy before
- 11:42Speaker 2: this was enacted are becoming so.
- 11:46Speaker 5: In general, the most ingenious group you'll ever find. Give
- 11:50Speaker 5: me a pot smoker and just give him some weed
- 11:53Speaker 5: and tell him give him he's got to figure out
- 11:55Speaker 5: a way to smoke it. They'll figure out a way.
- 11:59Speaker 5: They'll find it, and they'll find an adult yeah, a
- 12:03Speaker 5: toilet paper roll whatever. The group that I don't know,
- 12:08Speaker 5: we've ever it's really ever been tested, but it may
- 12:10Speaker 5: now the most ingenious group may end up being guys
- 12:13Speaker 5: who want to spank it watch porn. Yeah, oh yeah,
- 12:19Speaker 5: all of a sudden, Bubba you know knows about you know,
- 12:23Speaker 5: VPNs and how to get around stuff.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Is speaking of which VPN searches in the state of
- 12:29Speaker 2: Texas have jumped by more than one seven and fifty
- 12:33Speaker 2: percent since porn Hub left the state of Texas.
- 12:37Speaker 3: In India, they've banned if they're trying to ban all
- 12:40Speaker 3: porn on the Internet. So there's actual office that was created. Uh,
- 12:45Speaker 3: and I just I can't imagine whose job it is
- 12:48Speaker 3: is to search every porn site and then delete, like
- 12:52Speaker 3: make it where you can't log into it from a computer.
- 12:56Speaker 3: In India, so there's a there's a there's a whole
- 12:59Speaker 3: office dedicated to banning all of the porn in the world.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Imagine walking around India with that on your idea as
- 13:08Speaker 2: a government employee.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Yeah, can you imagine that. I mean that guy, that's
- 13:11Speaker 3: his job, so he has to literally watch all day long.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Like in the States, I guess the equivalent would be
- 13:16Speaker 2: the FPI Federal Porn and Investigat. I mean, I don't know,
- 13:20Speaker 2: it just seems ridiculous.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Yeah, that's just I mean, at some point it just
- 13:24Speaker 3: becomes too much porn. That guy's that guy's job is
- 13:29Speaker 3: like god, every day.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Well, that's just it. Like there was, like in addition
- 13:33Speaker 2: to these the top VPNs I'll give you here in
- 13:35Speaker 2: a second. I mean, there's there are porn sites. I've
- 13:38Speaker 2: read a couple of news stories where people have said,
- 13:41Speaker 2: I'm just going to this site. Now I'm like, I
- 13:43Speaker 2: don't even heard of that site.
- 13:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Uh, It's just it's fascinating how different corners of the
- 13:50Speaker 2: Internet are illuminated when when one goes dark.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Yeah, when I think about the guy in India whose
- 13:58Speaker 3: job it is like when you first at that job,
- 14:00Speaker 3: we're like, Okay, here's what you have to watch porn
- 14:02Speaker 3: all day long and then you have to tell us
- 14:05Speaker 3: the site and then ban it. And we're like, when
- 14:06Speaker 3: you get that job, it's like getting a job at
- 14:08Speaker 3: a pizza place. You're like, oh, pizza every day, this
- 14:11Speaker 3: is gonna be awesome. Like day four, you're like, f pizza,
- 14:14Speaker 3: this is awful, Like I can't anymore. Yeah.
- 14:18Speaker 2: But at the same time, I bet his middle finger
- 14:20Speaker 2: to write click save is pretty worn out as well.
- 14:27Speaker 2: He's just tired, like he's in those four days. He's
- 14:31Speaker 2: got enough stuff saved up the last of my lifetime
- 14:36Speaker 2: common to go on the black market and sell it out.
- 14:41Speaker 5: I was about to write him a Dear John letter.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Yeah, VP in searches in the state of Texas jumped
- 14:49Speaker 2: by one thousand and seven hundred and fifty percent. I
- 14:53Speaker 2: think that was within a day or two of born
- 14:56Speaker 2: hub pulling out of Texas because of the legislation the state,
- 15:02Speaker 2: which has New Age verification laws, meaning anyone who has
- 15:06Speaker 2: a Texas IP is blocked from accessing the adult website
- 15:11Speaker 2: Hornhubs said, and it's a notice. We've made the difficult
- 15:13Speaker 2: decision to completely disable access to our site in Texas
- 15:16Speaker 2: and doing so, we're complying with the law as we
- 15:18Speaker 2: always do, but hope that governments around the world will
- 15:20Speaker 2: implement laws that actually protect the safety and security of
- 15:24Speaker 2: our users. Now because of this, searches for the best
- 15:28Speaker 2: VPNs have skyrocketed. According to a slash Gear report sent
- 15:33Speaker 2: to Mashable, searches for Texas VPN jump by one seven
- 15:36Speaker 2: hundred and fifty percent.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Yeah, and I'm sure like adult video stores, which I
- 15:41Speaker 3: can't believe are still around, and you'll, you know, I
- 15:43Speaker 3: do this drive like to Houston or to Austin, and
- 15:45Speaker 3: you'll always see them on the side of the road.
- 15:46Speaker 3: I'm like, who goes in there? And now I'm sure
- 15:49Speaker 3: they were like when that law passed, Like I'm sure
- 15:52Speaker 3: somebody went to work that day and was like, why
- 15:54Speaker 3: are there all these people here?
- 15:55Speaker 4: This is amazing?
- 15:57Speaker 2: And like I could go to the adult theater and
- 16:00Speaker 2: you're like, oh my god, look at all these people.
- 16:03Speaker 2: So many of them I recognize as my legislators and pastor.
- 16:10Speaker 5: There's never been a wait for the gloryhole.
- 16:17Speaker 3: I'll serving number thirty two, serving number thirty two.
- 16:22Speaker 2: You're just standing there with forty five.
- 16:24Speaker 5: Oh, I can't find this listing on Rezie.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Well Roger said that your mother said it like the
- 16:36Speaker 2: necessities the mother of invention. And the next thing you
- 16:38Speaker 2: know you actually do not only is RESI for restaurants,
- 16:41Speaker 2: but also for the you know, the gloryholes. Yeah, an
- 16:45Speaker 2: open table needs to change its name.
- 16:53Speaker 10: You're listening to the Treehouse visit us online a treehouse
- 16:57Speaker 10: on air dot com.
- 17:11Speaker 4: You're in the Treehouse.
- 17:16Speaker 9: Visit us online, a treehouse on air dot com.
- 17:25Speaker 3: How long does it does he put the schedule to
- 17:27Speaker 3: last like four minutes? Yeah, and we need gas.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Okay, it's a big dumb world and we're here to
- 17:37Speaker 2: make fun.
- 17:39Speaker 3: I just that's I mean, okay, like this this is
- 17:43Speaker 3: a very America problem. No, it is like four minutes,
- 17:46Speaker 3: we need gas.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Not only that, but.
- 17:51Speaker 5: I'll paint a scenario for you. Okay, your good luck
- 17:55Speaker 5: on six thirty five LBJ. All right, So any for
- 18:00Speaker 5: any any day day.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I'm honest to god, if it's only that's a good day.
- 18:10Speaker 5: So a clip starts, people are like, oh my gosh,
- 18:15Speaker 5: let's get out of our car. Let's look straight up
- 18:17Speaker 5: at it. Oh we're blind. Now, let's get back and drive.
- 18:21Speaker 3: I don't think gas is your issue. I think insurance
- 18:23Speaker 3: is your issue.
- 18:25Speaker 2: I think living is your issue.
- 18:28Speaker 3: For first responders, Are we needed not shell? Okay? Maybe clip?
- 18:35Speaker 5: Maybe eclipses are Darwinian tools.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I think so.
- 18:42Speaker 3: We're thinning out the bird on the eighth I'm good
- 18:48Speaker 3: with that. Okay with that?
- 18:50Speaker 2: And not only do we need to be told not
- 18:53Speaker 2: to look at the eclipse and everything and to get
- 18:56Speaker 2: gas ahead of time because some of us are going
- 18:58Speaker 2: to treat it like a emergency types apocalypse type scenario.
- 19:04Speaker 2: I don't know, but we need it explained to us
- 19:08Speaker 2: like we're children, because most of us don't understand the
- 19:12Speaker 2: science behind the eclipse. So this is where I'd like
- 19:15Speaker 2: to introduce you to WFAA meteorologist Mariel Ruiz. And she
- 19:23Speaker 2: I don't know if this was her idea or if
- 19:26Speaker 2: she was tasked with being the low meteorologist on the
- 19:32Speaker 2: Channel eight totem pole to explain to eclipse, explain to
- 19:39Speaker 2: all of us.
- 19:42Speaker 5: Can I ask you a question, Daniel, Have either one
- 19:44Speaker 5: of y'all heard her before?
- 19:47Speaker 2: This is my first.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Time, No, raj I don't watch local news.
- 19:53Speaker 5: She has the most cringey way of the way she
- 19:58Speaker 5: talks about stuff, so I imagine, I I this is
- 20:03Speaker 5: going to be very cringey.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Just so, here is WA meteorologist Mariel Ruiz explaining to
- 20:11Speaker 2: all of us the.
- 20:12Speaker 12: Eclipse is coming to North Texas, and I'm going to
- 20:17Speaker 12: break it down for you. This is what an eclipse is,
- 20:19Speaker 12: at least a solar eclipse. Simply put, it's whenever the
- 20:23Speaker 12: moon positions itself between the Earth and the Sun. And
- 20:27Speaker 12: when this happens, it's going to cast a big shadow
- 20:31Speaker 12: across the continental United States. Everyone in the States will
- 20:37Speaker 12: see at least a partial eclipse.
- 20:40Speaker 2: So is this what you're talking about, Trey?
- 20:42Speaker 5: Huh, Yeah, it's really it's really this isn't even as
- 20:46Speaker 5: grating as I've seen her. But yes, it's almost patronizing, and.
- 20:50Speaker 2: It is patronizing, but it needs to be that's the thing.
- 20:54Speaker 2: She's she's doing this because most people don't understand this
- 20:57Speaker 2: stuff and they need to be spoken to like they're
- 21:00Speaker 2: seven years old. So this is actually, I think a
- 21:03Speaker 2: good thing so everyone can understand what's going to happen.
- 21:06Speaker 5: Of course, the married man says.
- 21:08Speaker 2: That I dare you sir?
- 21:18Speaker 3: We can just exit out of the show. Now, I
- 21:20Speaker 3: know that was great.
- 21:25Speaker 2: The masses are generally stupid, so therefore we need to
- 21:29Speaker 2: be talked to like we're, you know, children, in order
- 21:33Speaker 2: to understand things. This should have Yeah, now that I'm
- 21:35Speaker 2: saying it, Trey, it does sound early familiar to me
- 21:38Speaker 2: explaining things to my wife and why I don't remember things,
- 21:41Speaker 2: explain it to me.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Like, yeah, this should also have a header that just
- 21:45Speaker 3: says not for Asians. We understand how it's worth.
- 21:51Speaker 12: Yeah, But this path here that I've drawn out, that's totality,
- 21:55Speaker 12: meaning the Sun will be completely blocked by the moon.
- 22:00Speaker 12: I'm going to zoom in here to North Texas. Here's
- 22:02Speaker 12: where the total eclipse path will be, meaning areas in
- 22:05Speaker 12: Fort Worth, Dallas, anywhere over towards Kaufman County will be
- 22:09Speaker 12: in the total eclipse. That white line that you see there,
- 22:12Speaker 12: that's the center of the shadow.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Yeah, that's not just the penile vein.
- 22:17Speaker 12: If you are outside of this yellow line, that means
- 22:19Speaker 12: you'll witness a partial eclipse. And I've broken it down
- 22:23Speaker 12: even more. The total solar eclipse time and totality, so
- 22:27Speaker 12: time that the Sun will be completely covered at this point.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Tray, I hear it. I'm just waiting for her to say,
- 22:33Speaker 2: can all you kids say it with me? Totality and
- 22:37Speaker 2: then all together we all repeat totality. Yeah, and that's good.
- 22:42Speaker 2: And then she goes back to.
- 22:43Speaker 12: Explaining the closer you are to the central line, the
- 22:45Speaker 12: closer you'll be to four and a half minutes of darkness.
- 22:50Speaker 12: I've broken it down even more. We'll notice totality between
- 22:54Speaker 12: forty in the afternoon to one forty four in the afternoon.
- 22:58Speaker 12: So four minutes about give take a minute.
- 23:01Speaker 3: You can't give her to take a minute when you're
- 23:03Speaker 3: dealing in minutes.
- 23:04Speaker 5: Yes, other people were just between three and five minutes.
- 23:11Speaker 3: It's four minutes give or take two minutes. No, that
- 23:14Speaker 3: doesn't work.
- 23:15Speaker 5: Clearly you're not one hundred percent on that totality thing.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Also, I think Pete Delkis feels pretty confident that she's
- 23:26Speaker 2: not going to be taking away his chief meteorologist status anytimes.
- 23:31Speaker 3: This is so bad. This is when you know you're
- 23:34Speaker 3: trying to fill content like this.
- 23:36Speaker 2: No, I think this is good. This is what is
- 23:38Speaker 2: my point. People need to be explained to, sometimes in
- 23:42Speaker 2: the simplest forms possible.
- 23:44Speaker 3: And then it got simpler, and then it got simpler again.
- 23:48Speaker 3: I'm like, who is this for it? Like, no, she
- 23:51Speaker 3: was like when she said give or take a minute,
- 23:53Speaker 3: I just looked AT's face. I was like, yeah, we're
- 23:55Speaker 3: about to say the same thing four minutes to give
- 23:59Speaker 3: or take minute. No, that's not how that works. That's
- 24:02Speaker 3: not how time works.
- 24:04Speaker 5: I think she's been here like two years now, Like
- 24:06Speaker 5: I obviously she tests well and like she people like this.
- 24:10Speaker 5: I just know.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Who's watching weekend Weather is that? Isn't she?
- 24:17Speaker 2: The persons on She's on the mornings on the morning
- 24:22Speaker 2: ship does Midday, she does the good morning Texas.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Oh my Florida. That is You're so right, trade that
- 24:28Speaker 3: is so hard. It's like listening to a kindergarten teacher.
- 24:31Speaker 5: She's taken on a little bit of like a LaToya Jackson.
- 24:33Speaker 4: Look.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Oh, I was wondering who it was good call? Okay,
- 24:38Speaker 3: I was like, who does she remind me of? Interesting?
- 24:40Speaker 3: LaToya is good? All right? It could be LaToya could
- 24:45Speaker 3: be mine. He's doing he's doing weather now.
- 25:00Speaker 5: Hey Dan, Dan wearing your show prep notes? Did you
- 25:03Speaker 5: get to this point?
- 25:05Speaker 2: Oh, rampant misogyny? No, I don't write that down.

- 26:29Speaker 13: When I was growing up and I told somebody who's
- 26:31Speaker 13: gonna kick their ass, you got to back it up. Well,

- 26:58Speaker 2: As you just heard, even if he dies, he's still
- 27:02Speaker 2: going to honor this stuff. I mean, that's that's that's
- 27:04Speaker 2: some serious integrity and quality craftsmanship to have the confidence
- 27:08Speaker 2: to be like, yeah, this is how we do things.

- 27:31Speaker 2: This is the most disgusting thing I've ever read. A
- 27:34Speaker 2: man from Taiwan rushed to the doctor after finding a
- 27:37Speaker 2: stomach turning thirty years smegma build up in his penis.
- 27:41Speaker 2: The patient was taking a shower when he felt pain
- 27:44Speaker 2: in his genitals and bits of hardened dirt began to
- 27:47Speaker 2: fall into the drain, mistaking them for kidney stones. He
- 27:54Speaker 2: hurried to the urologist, and this was on March. This
- 27:57Speaker 2: is on March fourteenth. The urologist peeled back the man's foreskin.
- 28:02Speaker 2: But that was fun, and beheld the revolting accumulation of
- 28:07Speaker 2: sickly yellow brown smegma. As the doctor cleaned up the
- 28:12Speaker 2: calcified scales of dirt, oil, and dead skin, a foul
- 28:16Speaker 2: odor began to fill the entire clinic, and the doctor
- 28:23Speaker 2: made it a point to mention that no one seems
- 28:26Speaker 2: to have told him the patient that the foreskin can
- 28:29Speaker 2: be retracted, you know, to expose the entire glands to
- 28:33Speaker 2: be cleaned. He even added, the doctor said he actually
- 28:36Speaker 2: sees patients with excessive smegma build up around every two years.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Oh my god, I mean, how.
- 28:48Speaker 5: Like this guy must have had like a two foot crank,
- 28:52Speaker 5: because it sounds like it sounds like the doctor peeled
- 28:55Speaker 5: back the force in in quatto came out.
- 29:04Speaker 2: He found he found the mars resistance inside this man's
- 29:06Speaker 2: first him, I think at that point, even I would
- 29:12Speaker 2: be screaming get to the job and that these people
- 29:16Speaker 2: need air.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Wow, wow, that is yeah, that's gross. I don't even know,
- 29:28Speaker 3: but yeah, that was my again, Trey and I today
- 29:31Speaker 3: whatever on the same point when I was like, how
- 29:33Speaker 3: big was this junk? If he's like, yeah, I can't
- 29:35Speaker 3: pull that back, he didn't have to.
- 29:38Speaker 5: Maybe Quada was in there and he just reached his
- 29:40Speaker 5: hand out, and it's like.
- 29:43Speaker 2: That actually makes sense because if it's that big, it's
- 29:45Speaker 2: gonna be a two man job.
- 29:51Speaker 3: That's the only job happening down there for him.
- 29:53Speaker 2: So well, that's that's the other thing. That's the other
- 29:56Speaker 2: thing that this doctor says that is stunning to me
- 29:59Speaker 2: is the doctor said the patient's private parts had not
- 30:03Speaker 2: been active for thirty years. If we hadn't found it,
- 30:07Speaker 2: his partner might have discovered this treasure first. Oh and
- 30:13Speaker 2: here he mentions not necessarily the length of the man's manhood,
- 30:19Speaker 2: but specifically the foreskin. The doctor says the patient was
- 30:23Speaker 2: reported to have a rather long foreskin, but no ability
- 30:28Speaker 2: to pull back the foreskin. So maybe he just has
- 30:31Speaker 2: a normal size, you know, wiener, but the successive foreskin
- 30:36Speaker 2: that he just can't get it in fact, maybe the
- 30:38Speaker 2: foreskin is longer than his actual you know member, so
- 30:42Speaker 2: he can't pull it back all the way.
- 30:44Speaker 5: So he's like a kid in an extra large hoodie.
- 30:50Speaker 3: And I know what it's saying. You know, one man's
- 30:53Speaker 3: junk is another man's treasure.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Yeah, how would you like to be the cartographer. The
- 31:07Speaker 2: doctor also said, we think this build up was there
- 31:10Speaker 2: for thirty years. The whole thing broke apart like stone,
- 31:13Speaker 2: giving off a powerful odor.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Oh wow.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Uh.
- 31:17Speaker 2: The doctor also urged men to clean their penis and
- 31:20Speaker 2: foreskin daily with water and a little soap while showering.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Uh.
- 31:24Speaker 2: He even said there's currently sufficient health information in school
- 31:27Speaker 2: education and on the internet, and the accessibility of medical
- 31:30Speaker 2: resources in Taiwan is also very high. If you have
- 31:33Speaker 2: a problem that you don't understand, it's recommended to seek
- 31:35Speaker 2: medical advice from a specialist. And that's what this guy did.
- 31:38Speaker 2: It's just amazing to me how for thirty years you
- 31:42Speaker 2: didn't disc.
- 31:45Speaker 3: So he was bathing.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Yeah, but I guess he was bathing things, not including
- 31:50Speaker 2: his actual junk. Wow, because if you're doing it, then
- 31:54Speaker 2: you don't get the smegma.
- 31:57Speaker 3: Calcified calcified smegma.
- 32:00Speaker 2: That I think is one of the most disgusting parts
- 32:03Speaker 2: of the story. As if it could get worse. It's like,
- 32:05Speaker 2: it's not fresh, Smegma, It's it's calcified. And that's how
- 32:10Speaker 2: we heard it because it fell out of it fell
- 32:12Speaker 2: out of his horse kin and hit the tile on
- 32:17Speaker 2: the shower floor. Imagine that wonderful sound.
- 32:21Speaker 3: Yeah, imagine had it not broken.
- 32:22Speaker 2: So you don't have to imagine. I think I can
- 32:24Speaker 2: probably recreated right here.
- 32:26Speaker 3: Oh oh, I see.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Now, if you're not watching this episode of the Treehouse
- 32:34Speaker 2: on Patreon and you're just simply listening to it, you
- 32:38Speaker 2: don't know that this is my pin hitting my coffee cup.
- 32:43Speaker 2: To you, that's Smegma hitting the show hitting the tile.
- 32:49Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, and he thought it was so bad he
- 32:52Speaker 3: thought it was kidney stones. Yeah.
- 32:54Speaker 2: See, that's how I know he's never had kidney stones.
- 33:01Speaker 3: Knock on what. I've not either, but I've heard the
- 33:06Speaker 3: horror stories that so that his calcified Smegma was as
- 33:10Speaker 3: painful as kidney stones? Is that what he was trying
- 33:13Speaker 3: to say?
- 33:13Speaker 2: Well, not as kidney stones, but he apparently it was
- 33:16Speaker 2: apparently it was agonizing pain for him. I mean that
- 33:20Speaker 2: that's not a brand new pain. I mean that's look.
- 33:23Speaker 2: I mean by the time the first smegma stone happens, Yeah,
- 33:28Speaker 2: it wasn't It wasn't they the first megma stone didn't
- 33:33Speaker 2: form right then and there in the shower and then
- 33:35Speaker 2: fall out. Calcification of things takes a long time. So
- 33:40Speaker 2: it's not like this was day one of his hurting peepee.
- 33:45Speaker 3: But so nobody's like he's never like nobody's handled his junk.
- 33:49Speaker 2: That's That's one of the mysteries of this story. It's
- 33:51Speaker 2: like one he he never discovered it in thirty years
- 33:55Speaker 2: and he's married, so his partner never discovered it.
- 33:58Speaker 3: What have they been doing?
- 34:00Speaker 2: Ye?
- 34:01Speaker 5: Is he a lady boy?
- 34:02Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 34:06Speaker 3: That's Thailand. Other times where this was no Taiwan. Oh no,
- 34:16Speaker 3: I've lost interest in this.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Story, like I crossed up my stereotypes. Wake me up
- 34:23Speaker 2: when it's wake me up when it's Thailand. Trust me, Trey,
- 34:28Speaker 2: a lady boy in Thailand will have discovered this. Well
- 34:31Speaker 2: thirty years.
- 34:34Speaker 5: He'll make a lot of money.
- 34:35Speaker 2: M Yeah, in some countries this this would go on tour.
- 34:46Speaker 5: The Donkey Show.
- 34:52Speaker 2: I think that's what it's called.

- 35:48Speaker 14: Well, I mean, the reality of it is is that
- 35:51Speaker 14: plumbing is unfortunately a need and not so much a want. Yes,
- 35:54Speaker 14: you can want to remodel the bathroom and that's not pressing,
- 35:58Speaker 14: but typically when it comes to service or leak investigations,

- 36:04Speaker 14: the mainline and you don't know and you keep putting

- 36:14Speaker 14: has nowhere to go, we'll come back in the house
- 36:16Speaker 14: and at that point in time, it's no longer a want,

- 36:55Speaker 2: Let's go back one brief moment where we were discussing
- 36:59Speaker 2: the clip that is going to happen on Monday, and
- 37:03Speaker 2: we were talking about WFAA meteorologist Muriel Rui's talking to
- 37:07Speaker 2: everyone like we're children, explaining how eclipses work, and then
- 37:12Speaker 2: this happened. She's doing this because most people don't understand
- 37:16Speaker 2: this stuff and they need to be spoken to like
- 37:19Speaker 2: they're seven years old. So this is actually, I think,
- 37:22Speaker 2: a good thing so everyone can understand what's going to happen.
- 37:25Speaker 5: Of course, the married man says that.
- 37:33Speaker 2: And that's when I died. I know it seems odd
- 37:38Speaker 2: to have to report your own murder, but that's what happened.
- 37:43Speaker 2: I felt it. And then as I'm editing the show
- 37:46Speaker 2: and post production, I got to witness my own murder,
- 37:52Speaker 2: and that's when I realized that it must be reported.
- 37:56Speaker 2: So not only was there a murder inside the tree
- 38:00Speaker 2: house on our previous episode, but there's also a nine
- 38:05Speaker 2: to one one call reporting it.
- 38:08Speaker 7: How's ninety one one? What's your emergency?
- 38:11Speaker 4: Hi, I'd like to report a murder.
- 38:12Speaker 7: Oh my goodness, that's terrible.
- 38:14Speaker 4: I know.
- 38:15Speaker 7: Why would you say you like to report a murder?
- 38:17Speaker 7: Are you some sort of sick Oh? Wait, what I'd
- 38:20Speaker 7: like to report a murder? Who says that? Is that
- 38:22Speaker 7: what you mean? Or do you need to report a murder?
- 38:25Speaker 4: Okay? I guess I need to report a murder.
- 38:28Speaker 7: Okay, good, that's more like it now that I know
- 38:30Speaker 7: what you mean. Where are you right now in my treehouse?
- 38:33Speaker 7: Is the victim there too?
- 38:34Speaker 3: Oh?
- 38:35Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 38:36Speaker 7: Okay? Is the victim male or female?
- 38:38Speaker 4: Please don't ask me political questions?
- 38:39Speaker 7: Oh right, sorry, we're all still adjusting in here. Is
- 38:42Speaker 7: it one victim or multiple?
- 38:44Speaker 5: Just one?
- 38:44Speaker 7: And you're sure it's dead? Did you check for a pulse.
- 38:47Speaker 4: Oh, he's dead.
- 38:48Speaker 7: Okay, I'm sending emergency services to your location. Did you
- 38:51Speaker 7: see the murder?
- 38:52Speaker 4: I did.
- 38:53Speaker 7: It was brutal. Can you tell me what happened?
- 38:55Speaker 4: Well, my friends and I were having your conversation about
- 38:57Speaker 4: your clips, and my friend Trey said something real mean
- 39:00Speaker 4: to me about being married, and it was so mean
- 39:03Speaker 4: it killed me.
- 39:05Speaker 7: Wait it killed you?
- 39:06Speaker 4: Yes? I saw my soul leave my body.
- 39:08Speaker 7: Sir. That's not possible. You're not dead. You're on the
- 39:11Speaker 7: phone with me. You must be disoriented from the attack.
- 39:13Speaker 7: Did he shoot Uh?
- 39:17Speaker 2: I always forget to mention this. When we receive these
- 39:22Speaker 2: nine to one one calls from dispatch, we'll call it uh.
- 39:25Speaker 2: They always make sure to disguise the voice of the
- 39:31Speaker 2: person calling nine one one to protect their anonymity.
- 39:37Speaker 7: Wait, it killed you?
- 39:38Speaker 4: Yes, I saw my soul leave my body.
- 39:41Speaker 7: Sir. That's not possible. You're not dead. You're on the
- 39:43Speaker 7: phone with me. You must be disoriented from the attack.
- 39:46Speaker 7: Did he shoot you no? Did he stab you no?
- 39:49Speaker 7: Did he strangle you?
- 39:50Speaker 4: Oh?
- 39:51Speaker 7: Did he rip your still beating hard from your chest
- 39:53Speaker 7: with his bare hands? Like I'm gonna do if you
- 39:55Speaker 7: don't start making some goddamn sense. Emotionally yes, okay, so
- 39:59Speaker 7: your emotion only dead, but physically alive. People, you can't
- 40:04Speaker 7: call nine one one because your friend hurt your feelings.

- 41:42Speaker 5: Gentlemen, how was your I've caught now I say this.
- 41:47Speaker 5: If I had traveled or done anything out of the ordinary,
- 41:50Speaker 5: I don't know that I would have the same thing.
- 41:52Speaker 5: But just on the event itself, I walked outside had daisy,
- 41:56Speaker 5: the neighbors had the dogs. It was kind of like
- 41:58Speaker 5: a little communal event. It was really cool. It was
- 42:02Speaker 5: like the one thing I remember from the eclipse in
- 42:04Speaker 5: seventy nine that I is how I think when the
- 42:09Speaker 5: sun goes, you know, the temperature changed in the middle
- 42:11Speaker 5: of the day. It's just it's a very cool event.
- 42:15Speaker 5: It was fun. I you know, I would not have
- 42:18Speaker 5: traveled thousands of miles or you know the fact that
- 42:21Speaker 5: I mean a Best Western in Grand Prairie was going
- 42:24Speaker 5: for four hundred bucks and there were no rental cars
- 42:26Speaker 5: in the city. You know, I don't if I had
- 42:29Speaker 5: spent some money like that, I think I might feel
- 42:31Speaker 5: short changed or but but I don't know. People really
- 42:34Speaker 5: enjoyed it. I mean I was shocked at the bar.
- 42:36Speaker 5: We had people Germany, England, South America. I mean, all
- 42:40Speaker 5: over the world we're here for this event. And in
- 42:43Speaker 5: general everyone enjoyed it.
- 42:47Speaker 3: It was cool. Like I thought, like I heard people
- 42:50Speaker 3: like oath and tears and I'm like, wait in why,
- 42:53Speaker 3: like did you stare at it?
- 42:55Speaker 5: Is that what happened?
- 42:57Speaker 3: It was cool. I thought it was a fan plastic phenomenon.
- 43:01Speaker 3: Like I was like, this is when I was watching
- 43:03Speaker 3: it pretty rad. Not gonna lie, but yeah, I mean
- 43:06Speaker 3: I didn't have the the the tears in my eyes
- 43:11Speaker 3: as some as some folk did.
- 43:13Speaker 2: Well, that's because you got surrounded by a whole lot
- 43:15Speaker 2: as stupid, Like a lot of the conspiracy theories leading
- 43:18Speaker 2: up to the eclipse, people claiming they were going to
- 43:21Speaker 2: be massive power outages, there were going to be cell
- 43:24Speaker 2: service interruptions, that you had elected officials saying it was
- 43:29Speaker 2: God sending us messages to repent for our sins. Alex
- 43:35Speaker 2: Jones even said the government was going to use it
- 43:37Speaker 2: as an excuse to declare martial law or or or
- 43:41Speaker 2: to practice for declaring martial law.
- 43:45Speaker 4: Wow.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Again, So the eclipse brought out all this nonsense.
- 43:49Speaker 5: And you know what's funny is what I enjoyed about
- 43:51Speaker 5: it more than anything else, is like for a weekend,
- 43:53Speaker 5: for a day, you could turn on the news and
- 43:57Speaker 5: it wasn't you know, politics and war and anything else.
- 44:00Speaker 3: You know, it was it was it was nice. There's
- 44:03Speaker 3: no there's no you know, there's no updates on the
- 44:05Speaker 3: Middle East, so there were no what's China doing to Taiwan? No, no,
- 44:09Speaker 3: none of that was happening. It was just like Hey,
- 44:11Speaker 3: the sun's about to go away for a minute.
- 44:14Speaker 2: That's because you were watching the wrong channel.
- 44:16Speaker 4: Tray.
- 44:19Speaker 2: Yeah, uh, but you should have been watching, was Alex Jones.
- 44:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. How how do you how do
- 44:25Speaker 3: you find like, oh, Darius.
- 44:27Speaker 15: No, you were you were watching your wrong television show, Tray.
- 44:36Speaker 3: Oh no, first of all, Jones.
- 44:38Speaker 5: Here, I'm about to say you you got an old
- 44:39Speaker 5: picture of I saw a recent picture of Alex Jones,
- 44:42Speaker 5: and you are fifty pounds lighter.
- 44:46Speaker 15: Take all these info war supplements.
- 44:51Speaker 5: What I thought you were gonna I thought you were
- 44:53Speaker 5: gonna say it was a government conspiracy just to make
- 44:55Speaker 5: you look fat.
- 44:57Speaker 2: Actually, yeah, let's go by the way.
- 45:05Speaker 15: I'm Alex Jones. And the eclipse wasn't real. It was
- 45:09Speaker 15: a false moon operation. The government just wants you to
- 45:14Speaker 15: think it's science. Science ain't real. It's hokeem meant to
- 45:18Speaker 15: scare you and control you.
- 45:21Speaker 2: They want it.
- 45:22Speaker 15: It's big balls full of gas and dust up there,
- 45:24Speaker 15: But that ain't true.
- 45:26Speaker 2: I'm the only big ball of gas and dust. Pay
- 45:28Speaker 2: my legal bills. What do you think space lasers have
- 45:35Speaker 2: been doing. They're juicing up the moon.
- 45:38Speaker 3: They're juicing up the moon and all.
- 45:40Speaker 15: Those people standing around you, staring up at the sky
- 45:43Speaker 15: like a bunch of TikTokers on the phones, all paid actors.
- 45:46Speaker 2: They're not real. They fold you.
- 45:48Speaker 15: Even the ones in your family, your wife, your kids,
- 45:50Speaker 15: not real, paid actors, just like mine.
- 45:58Speaker 3: I'm surprised you were left a video camera and a
- 46:02Speaker 3: mic to talk into.
- 46:05Speaker 2: The lawyers can't take it all. It clips my ass.
- 46:10Speaker 15: It's actually Obama in this weather machine blocking out the sun.
- 46:15Speaker 2: He wants the earth to be as dark as he is.
- 46:21Speaker 15: Okay, Alex, you remember Darper right, Defense Advanced Research Projects
- 46:27Speaker 15: Agency DARPA, Obama. They got the same number of letters
- 46:31Speaker 15: and they rhyme.
- 46:32Speaker 2: It's so obvious.
- 46:34Speaker 3: Okay.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Well, and that didn't end when Obama left office.
- 46:38Speaker 15: He kept it in his bathroom and he hit it
- 46:41Speaker 15: until Biden snuck into power.
- 46:43Speaker 2: Neither all together.
- 46:44Speaker 15: Obama, Darper Biden five letters each, and they all rhyme,
- 46:49Speaker 15: I'm a genius by my supplements.
- 46:51Speaker 3: Isn't isn't Trump? Five letters as well?
- 46:55Speaker 16: Oh, you're listening to the tree.
- 47:13Speaker 2: House during this break. I need to go apologize to
- 47:17Speaker 2: my dog and my wife. I didn't give him the
- 47:20Speaker 2: heads up. Alex Jones was calling it.
- 47:29Speaker 11: You're listening to the tree House, visit us online at
- 47:33Speaker 11: Treehouse on air dot com.
- 47:41Speaker 2: Mattel is launching a new, less intimidating version of Scrabble
- 47:46Speaker 2: because I guess letters and blocks are too scary for
- 47:50Speaker 2: kids today. I really wish I was making this up. Scrabble,
- 47:56Speaker 2: one of the world's best loved word games, is getting
- 47:58Speaker 2: a new, collaborative and accessible version. The game's been around
- 48:02Speaker 2: for more than seventy five years, entertaining and infuriating players
- 48:06Speaker 2: and families. If I might add an equal measure with
- 48:09Speaker 2: the simple premise of competing to see who can make
- 48:11Speaker 2: the highest scoring words from a random selection of letters, Now,
- 48:15Speaker 2: an updated game named Scrabble Together adds a second side
- 48:19Speaker 2: to the board that is collaborative and faster paced to
- 48:21Speaker 2: make gameplay more accessible for anyone who finds word games intimidating.
- 48:26Speaker 2: That's according to a statement that Mattel published earlier this week.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Instead of competing, players collaborate to complete goal cards, and
- 48:35Speaker 2: there are helper cards if assistance is required To aim
- 48:39Speaker 2: is that the new game brings people together.
- 48:43Speaker 5: What did they call words with friends?
- 48:46Speaker 2: Words with idiots?
- 48:47Speaker 5: I mean that was dumb deaf scrabble.
- 48:50Speaker 3: Yes, Now they've made it a board like you don't
- 48:54Speaker 3: have to have any They've made a dumber. I just yeah,
- 48:58Speaker 3: I don't know what we're doing to get it's today.
- 49:00Speaker 3: I don't I don't understand. It's uh yeah, scrabble, that's
- 49:06Speaker 3: what we're doing. Making a collaborative okay is hard. What
- 49:14Speaker 3: are they going to do to Monopoly? I want to
- 49:16Speaker 3: see what they do now. It's like it's going to
- 49:17Speaker 3: be habitat for humanity. Everybody's going to help build houses
- 49:20Speaker 3: on their property.
- 49:24Speaker 5: Who can build the best co op?
- 49:30Speaker 3: No one goes to jail. It's always free parking.
- 49:35Speaker 2: And there's free healthcare for everybody. Actually, it's kind of nice.
- 49:40Speaker 3: They gentrified Baltic and Mediterranean.
- 49:46Speaker 2: Everyone actually reads on the reading railroad.
- 49:54Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I think we just get on the new game. Wow,
- 49:58Speaker 3: it's a it's sad. I've never uh, I've never really
- 50:02Speaker 3: played scrabble like like, it's not a We never had
- 50:06Speaker 3: that game. We had Monopoly grown up, but that was
- 50:08Speaker 3: just because Indians do hotels, but that's it was more
- 50:12Speaker 3: of an instructional board game than anything else. But we
- 50:15Speaker 3: did have Monopoly. We played that and that was man
- 50:17Speaker 3: that that would start fights. So I can't imagine what
- 50:20Speaker 3: spelling would do.
- 50:23Speaker 2: My family played a lot of scrabble. We also played
- 50:26Speaker 2: a lot of trivial pursuit, and I never found it intimidating.
- 50:34Speaker 2: It's like, if anything, it was good for me. It's
- 50:36Speaker 2: how I probably know that the word key is an
- 50:40Speaker 2: actual word. QI. The only time I've ever needed to
- 50:44Speaker 2: use it was in scrabble, And to this day, I
- 50:46Speaker 2: still don't know what the hell it means. But by god,
- 50:48Speaker 2: that's you know, if that's a triple letter score they
- 50:51Speaker 2: were talking about thirty one points.
- 50:53Speaker 3: Wow, Okay, we have to find out what game means.
- 50:57Speaker 3: But yeah, we just had the We had a monopoly
- 51:00Speaker 3: in operation. Like if you don't, it doesn't get more
- 51:03Speaker 3: Indian than that. And like you could tell, like when
- 51:05Speaker 3: we were playing at as kids, like the one that
- 51:07Speaker 3: just kept bumping it against the side. You're like, oh, dermatology,
- 51:11Speaker 3: that's what they're gonna be. That's what they're going to
- 51:13Speaker 3: specialize in. You could tell. But yeah, we didn't have
- 51:15Speaker 3: the We didn't have that.
- 51:16Speaker 4: We had.
- 51:18Speaker 3: We had hungry, hungry hippos. I don't think you can
- 51:20Speaker 3: have one today. Isn't that fast shaming? I don't know
- 51:24Speaker 3: what that game would do well.
- 51:27Speaker 2: Balanced tippos, I.
- 51:28Speaker 3: Don't know how that's nice.
- 51:32Speaker 5: Candyland just promoting diabetes.
- 51:37Speaker 3: Also a fantastic name for a strip club.
- 51:43Speaker 2: And Battleship was just a way for the Navy to, uh,
- 51:47Speaker 2: you know, work on indoctrinating you as a child and
- 51:50Speaker 2: getting you to enlist in the future.
- 51:53Speaker 3: Yeah, that's exactly. That's all it was.
- 51:56Speaker 2: All board games is really just you know, training for
- 51:59Speaker 2: the actual life ahead.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:02Speaker 3: And you know the kid that brought in, like the
- 52:06Speaker 3: brought in cookies from the easy bakeup and you just
- 52:08Speaker 3: you just don't you're not going to cook. That's they're
- 52:12Speaker 3: just not going to cook it. And uh but yeah,
- 52:15Speaker 3: that's wild. I can't believe they're doing that to board
- 52:17Speaker 3: games because it's I don't know, maybe it's causing a
- 52:19Speaker 3: lot of fights because we didn't play it, so I
- 52:22Speaker 3: don't know.
- 52:22Speaker 2: The only reason whatever cause any fights is this is
- 52:26Speaker 2: because you don't have a decent enough vocabulary to have
- 52:28Speaker 2: a chance at winning. Therefore, you play the game more
- 52:32Speaker 2: and you learn more words and you get better.
- 52:36Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's the that's the thing now is uh,
- 52:40Speaker 3: it has to be super inclusive, right, and you can't
- 52:44Speaker 3: because you can't. Everybody has to be on the same page.
- 52:47Speaker 3: Isn't that right? Is that what it is? I don't know.
- 52:49Speaker 3: I'm just why I'm glad of doing it.
- 52:50Speaker 2: But that's the case, then how the hell do you
- 52:52Speaker 2: play clue?
- 52:55Speaker 3: Does anybody still? That's what I want to know? Does
- 52:57Speaker 3: anybody still you can't play a game where there's solving
- 53:00Speaker 3: a murder? Can you?
- 53:01Speaker 4: Is that? Like?
- 53:02Speaker 3: Isn't that too much for today?
- 53:03Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 53:04Speaker 2: I mean if if scrabble with tiles and letters is intimidating,
- 53:10Speaker 2: then then how do you how do you fix clue?
- 53:13Speaker 2: Is everybody the murderer? Or is nobody the murderer? Or
- 53:16Speaker 2: is it in instead of there's been a murder, there's
- 53:19Speaker 2: there's been a there's been a hugging. We have to
- 53:22Speaker 2: find out we have to find out who the who
- 53:25Speaker 2: the hugger is in the house and which room they
- 53:27Speaker 2: hugged somebody?
- 53:28Speaker 3: Now, was it a consensual hug? Is the question? That's
- 53:31Speaker 3: when you're getting into the you're getting into the rule book.
- 53:35Speaker 2: Yes, that's the game. I can see in thirty years
- 53:39Speaker 2: people will be doing a podcast like this somewhere in space,
- 53:42Speaker 2: feeling nostalgic about the game of consent.
- 53:51Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, what's next. I mean, they're gonna take
- 53:52Speaker 5: Grand Theft Auto and like all of a sudden, you're gonna,
- 53:54Speaker 5: you know, pick the hooker up and you know, you know,
- 53:57Speaker 5: fix her up and get her, you know, on a
- 53:59Speaker 5: solid life, get off the streets.
- 54:02Speaker 3: Grand Theft Auto, Grand Theft Auto Pretty Woman version. He
- 54:09Speaker 3: cleaned that hooker right up.
- 54:10Speaker 9: I tell you you're in the treehouse. Visit us online
