- 0:00Speaker 1: This week on Stay Out of My Fridge.
- 0:04Speaker 2: If if you've got nothing going on, it'd be show nice.
- 0:10Speaker 1: It would be pretty cool.
- 0:11Speaker 3: But Childie and Riskin they smoked their chips fam so
- 0:16Speaker 3: like their chips were smoked and like they were crunchy
- 0:19Speaker 3: and crispy and stuff still, but like there was that
- 0:21Speaker 3: smoky flavor in the chips too, and you're like, oh man,
- 0:24Speaker 3: this is this is that's next level ship Hash brown It's.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Too eighty nine, bro, are you kidding me? For one?
- 0:31Speaker 2: Do you remember when they used to be two for
- 0:32Speaker 2: a dollar? It could be that walking uphill in the
- 0:35Speaker 2: snow both ways, the school type of person, but I
- 0:38Speaker 2: do remember when you used to be able to get
- 0:40Speaker 2: two Hash Browns for a dollar. I ate one of
- 0:42Speaker 2: these homemade edibles at the home. Uh the housekeeper found
- 0:47Speaker 2: at the hotels, So probably should have ate one of those.
- 0:50Speaker 2: But it wasn't bad.
- 0:52Speaker 1: We were patting the backstage, oh about some stuff we
- 0:56Speaker 1: were going off about Brandon.
- 1:00Speaker 3: I love NFL all right, And we talked last week
- 1:03Speaker 3: about the difference between college football and pro football fans.
- 1:07Speaker 1: A little bit, maybe a little bit, okay.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Whatever, Well, there's a difference and usually they don't meet
- 1:14Speaker 3: in that if you you were you either like one
- 1:16Speaker 3: more than the other. It's not usually an even thing. Well,
- 1:19Speaker 3: fantasy football has taken college football way up here for me,
- 1:22Speaker 3: and it's really and maybe it's because I've got some
- 1:25Speaker 3: some skin in the game, right sure. Well my point is,
- 1:28Speaker 3: when I'm playing fantasy football, I love the idea of
- 1:31Speaker 3: waking up on a Sunday, excuse.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Me, and the first quarter we'll be right back.
- 1:38Speaker 3: So we'll be back after these messages. Love waking up
- 1:41Speaker 3: on a on a Sunday and having a few minutes
- 1:44Speaker 3: to breathe, to eat a hot dog, to tell the
- 1:47Speaker 3: kids stuff off, and then to be able to set
- 1:49Speaker 3: my fantasy lineup. But when I wake up and there's
- 1:53Speaker 3: an early game that started at like eight o'clock, what
- 1:56Speaker 3: in the hell? And I've got somebody that's on the
- 1:58Speaker 3: bench that's got seventeen points or something like that, it
- 2:01Speaker 3: pisces me off to no end. To the NFL just
- 2:03Speaker 3: stick with noon three and seven for their starts of
- 2:07Speaker 3: their game on a Sunday, please.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Oh what about last week where we had football that
- 2:12Speaker 2: started in London at eight thirty in the morning on
- 2:15Speaker 2: our time, and then we had the Pittsburgh and Cowboys
- 2:19Speaker 2: game that got delayed up until I think I watched
- 2:22Speaker 2: that game. It was I was up until almost one,
- 2:26Speaker 2: but I think it ended was like twelve to fifteen something.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I know it was like it was past one Eastern.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Yeah, the record for the longest day of football in
- 2:35Speaker 1: NFL history.
- 2:36Speaker 3: But you know what, right now, it is three Just
- 2:40Speaker 3: to share with folks, it is nine to eleven AM
- 2:42Speaker 3: my time. No, no, nope, it's also the same time
- 2:47Speaker 3: for you been. It's an hour ahead for Matt for
- 2:49Speaker 3: Beard Laws, but it's only three eleven pm for the
- 2:53Speaker 3: Brits in London. So if you fast forward three hours
- 2:56Speaker 3: from now, hey, guess what, it's noon here, one o'clock
- 2:59Speaker 3: for Matt and at six o'clock for the Brits, have
- 3:02Speaker 3: a fight game. Are you kidding me? Like, what are
- 3:04Speaker 3: you thinking? NFL?
- 3:06Speaker 1: Yeah, they just watched everybody to watch this game that
- 3:09Speaker 1: nobody really cared. I mean, like I said, this is
- 3:13Speaker 1: Jacksonville in Chicago.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Oh they're really really catching that early Sunday non church
- 3:18Speaker 3: going crowd, aren't they.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Well imagine being like what if your team is on
- 3:22Speaker 2: the West Coast, You're like, cool, can't wait to wake
- 3:24Speaker 2: up and watch this game at six thirty in the morning.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Might have a beer.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I don't know if you don't start in
- 3:32Speaker 1: the morning.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Right, this is probably the most animated I've gotten, so
- 3:35Speaker 3: I apologize.
- 3:37Speaker 1: No, it's good. I thought, before we press record, if
- 3:39Speaker 1: you guys want to see the footae, head over to
- 3:41Speaker 1: our patreon that doesn't exist. And I was like, let's
- 3:43Speaker 1: just press record because I love a good brand and
- 3:46Speaker 1: fired up in the morning, just usually going off about that.
- 3:50Speaker 1: And uh, because your team had a bye week for college, right,
- 3:52Speaker 1: so you didn't you didn't have to stress over football
- 3:54Speaker 1: yesterday or over the weekend.
- 3:56Speaker 3: I watched zero football yesterday, and it's not because my
- 3:59Speaker 3: team wasn't playing. I just when my team's not playing,
- 4:01Speaker 3: I'm not in it. I was checking scores and seeing updates.
- 4:04Speaker 3: I watched about five minutes of the Oregon State of
- 4:07Speaker 3: the Oregon Ohio State game, which was great.
- 4:09Speaker 1: You see the controversy in that one. No early so
- 4:13Speaker 1: there was I think their best receiver or one of
- 4:16Speaker 1: the top receivers for Oregon. Apparently they're going back and
- 4:20Speaker 1: forth just like football players do. The dude spits on
- 4:24Speaker 1: the safety or corner for Ohio State ref sees it
- 4:27Speaker 1: ejected immediately, which right move, you know what I mean?
- 4:32Speaker 1: And then he gets escorted out, throws his helmet, has
- 4:35Speaker 1: a little meltdown in the tunnel and it and they
- 4:39Speaker 1: ended up almost losing the game. They only I think
- 4:41Speaker 1: they held on for a one point win.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Yep. And then Colorado and Kansas State that was a
- 4:47Speaker 2: pretty exciting game as well. It went on super late.
- 4:52Speaker 2: I was almost going to text you, Brandon, because I
- 4:54Speaker 2: was like, I know what Nebrassa's I was like, I
- 4:55Speaker 2: wonder if he's watching this game, but I was like
- 4:58Speaker 2: bet or not. I was like, it's it's almost twelve
- 5:00Speaker 2: thirty in the morning. He's probably gonna kill me.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Which, oh man, that sucks. I want to Colorado win.
- 5:07Speaker 3: I didn't even know the score, yes, looked it up
- 5:09Speaker 3: just now, dude.
- 5:10Speaker 2: It was heartbreaking. It was such a good if you
- 5:13Speaker 2: look at the scoring in the last six minutes, that's
- 5:16Speaker 2: when all of that took place, just back to back.
- 5:19Speaker 3: For the record, I'm not a Colorado fan. I'm a
- 5:21Speaker 3: Nebraska fan. But Nebraska was the only team to beat
- 5:23Speaker 3: Colorado this year until Kansas State just did.
- 5:27Speaker 2: It's a I'm not a Colorado fan, But I am
- 5:30Speaker 2: a Dion fan, and I like to see what he's doing,
- 5:34Speaker 2: so I'm not.
- 5:35Speaker 3: I don't on the surface, when you're hearing the media
- 5:39Speaker 3: tell his story and you're hearing the sound bites, you
- 5:41Speaker 3: don't like the guy. I don't want to hear that shit.
- 5:43Speaker 3: I don't want to hear him tell me about the
- 5:46Speaker 3: defensive line recruits he wants and how he wants them
- 5:48Speaker 3: to have daddy issues or something like that, or how
- 5:51Speaker 3: he's you know, taking players in and not actually doing
- 5:53Speaker 3: in house recruiting or traveling to people homes to visit
- 5:56Speaker 3: their mommy or daddy's. They're having them come to come
- 5:59Speaker 3: to him. I don't want to hear that. But then
- 6:01Speaker 3: when you actually, like listen to the full press conference,
- 6:03Speaker 3: you see what he's doing. His team is. I mean,
- 6:06Speaker 3: he has the playmakers on his team to match with
- 6:09Speaker 3: any team in the country playmaker wise, quarterback, wide receiver.
- 6:13Speaker 3: They've got decent running back, They've got a couple of
- 6:15Speaker 3: good ride receivers, not just Travis Huntery Henry but and
- 6:21Speaker 3: plus I've always love it underdog and he's went from
- 6:24Speaker 3: being on top of the college the whole world early
- 6:26Speaker 3: last year to be in this guy that people just
- 6:28Speaker 3: want to see fired. And how can you not pull
- 6:30Speaker 3: for a guy like that?
- 6:31Speaker 2: Right? And Travis Hunter, dude, he is he's I love
- 6:36Speaker 2: watching him play, but he gets hurt. He got hurt
- 6:38Speaker 2: again yesterday, so.
- 6:41Speaker 3: I call him Henry, I'm at Hunter.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Sorry, thanks, Yeah, it's it's just you'd like to see
- 6:46Speaker 2: him play both sides of the ball. It's once in
- 6:48Speaker 2: a lifetime, but then every other week you seem like
- 6:51Speaker 2: he's going to get hurt. Well, yeah, he's out there
- 6:54Speaker 2: ninety nine percent of the time, Jesus.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a it's a game that flies, and it's
- 6:58Speaker 1: a game that you could get hurt very easily. So
- 7:02Speaker 1: it makes sense if you're out there way too much.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Here's why I like college football. Looking at the scores,
- 7:07Speaker 3: just from the top twenty five, and you have one, two, three, four, five, six, seven,
- 7:18Speaker 3: seven games within three points, seven games within three points,
- 7:22Speaker 3: most of them were two or three of them were
- 7:24Speaker 3: with one or two points, and so and that's in
- 7:26Speaker 3: the top twenty five. That's that's that's a huge list.
- 7:29Speaker 3: And these aren't I mean, it's not the Bears and
- 7:31Speaker 3: the Jaguars. These aren't. We're not talking the NFL and parody.
- 7:33Speaker 3: We're talking you know, Oregon, Oregon State pretty level when
- 7:36Speaker 3: it comes to their talent level. But Mississippi State, Georgia,
- 7:39Speaker 3: Penn State, USC, those aren't equal teams. Alabama, South Carolina?
- 7:43Speaker 3: Are you kidding me?
- 7:44Speaker 1: Those aren't they? They had them till the end pretty
- 7:46Speaker 1: much too perdue.
- 7:48Speaker 2: They were going they went for two. That's the only
- 7:50Speaker 2: reason why they lost. Like that was an exciting game as.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Well, Pittsburgh against cal So that's why I love college football.
- 7:56Speaker 3: And that's the other thing. You were talking about Nebraska
- 7:58Speaker 3: being off this week, they were, Well, Nebraska beat Here's
- 8:01Speaker 3: the thing that's funny about it. Nebraska beat Purdue, they
- 8:04Speaker 3: beat goodness, Rutgers, and there's another team they beat. But anyway,
- 8:10Speaker 3: the three three teams that our opponents have played after
- 8:13Speaker 3: playing Nebraska have all beaten them. And Nebraska fans are
- 8:16Speaker 3: up in arms, are like, oh my god, Purdue's getting
- 8:19Speaker 3: beat by you know, Illinois, or Rutgers is getting spanked
- 8:24Speaker 3: or this and that. Well, the idea is and Matt Rule,
- 8:28Speaker 3: Nebraska's coach has said this before. He says that love
- 8:30Speaker 3: seeing teams play against Nebraska and then the next week
- 8:34Speaker 3: get their complete teeth pushed in, because that says that
- 8:37Speaker 3: we beat them up and we broke them. Now they
- 8:40Speaker 3: go in the next game and they get their shit.
- 8:41Speaker 3: I don't know how much truth there is to that,
- 8:43Speaker 3: but I mean you probably teams are one in five
- 8:47Speaker 3: this year following the game playing Nebraska.
- 8:51Speaker 2: So wow. And honestly, I didn't pay this. I think
- 8:54Speaker 2: you know, we've mentioned this several times. You know, I
- 8:56Speaker 2: didn't pay attention to a lot of the college games
- 8:59Speaker 2: at all until you, like you were talking about it,
- 9:02Speaker 2: like when never as I've been paying attention to, you know,
- 9:05Speaker 2: several different games. And I said, I was going to
- 9:08Speaker 2: text him like, hey, did you see this? But I
- 9:09Speaker 2: was like, Eh, I'm super stony blooney, and this game
- 9:12Speaker 2: is really exciting and I just wanted to share it
- 9:14Speaker 2: with somebody. Everybody else is asleep in the house and I'm.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Like, hey, I'm like, who's on my time zone?
- 9:19Speaker 2: This is awesome.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Now. It's the same way Brandon's got me checking scores
- 9:24Speaker 1: doing this, you know, maybe putting a little bit of
- 9:27Speaker 1: some money on some games.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Just for against man, that's gonna be SoLIT.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I'm here for I told myself. Once they get above
- 9:34Speaker 1: like eight ten, twelve, whatever. I never imagined they would
- 9:38Speaker 1: say twelve teams, but eight teams or something like that.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I said, I get more into it because now again,
- 9:42Speaker 1: like you talked about last week, we might get an
- 9:44Speaker 1: army or somebody in there. And you know, like you
- 9:46Speaker 1: got a team like Syracuse local to me that everybody loves.
- 9:49Speaker 1: They blow a game or Stanford, Stanford comes all the
- 9:52Speaker 1: way over, it's the only loss they have. They could
- 9:54Speaker 1: be undefeated potentially around that twenty mark with a chance
- 9:57Speaker 1: to potentially get in and you know, some tough games
- 10:00Speaker 1: coming up just makes it fun. And I have to
- 10:02Speaker 1: imagine as a player, you have a little bit more
- 10:04Speaker 1: to play for instead of saying, hey, I'm going to
- 10:06Speaker 1: the Draft Kings five hundred bowl out in you know,
- 10:10Speaker 1: Arizona instead and now you're like, I got a chance
- 10:12Speaker 1: to make the playoffs. I mean, that's whatever, kid or
- 10:15Speaker 1: you know, kid guy, whatever they are, that's what they
- 10:17Speaker 1: want to play for as a championship on some bowl game.
- 10:21Speaker 3: And I mean we all grew tired of seeing Alabama, Georgia, Clemson,
- 10:26Speaker 3: Ohio State, Oregon, those five teams and then a handful
- 10:30Speaker 3: of others as they would come come in and out
- 10:31Speaker 3: Florida State, whoever else over the past ten years dominate.
- 10:34Speaker 3: I hatn't seen that shit. I don't want to see
- 10:36Speaker 3: that shit anymore. I want to see an I want
- 10:38Speaker 3: to see a Sarahcuse or an Army or a Navy
- 10:43Speaker 3: or an air Force come through, or even a Colorado
- 10:45Speaker 3: come through. Colorado's I'm having the resources of any of
- 10:48Speaker 3: these big teams, big programs, they've never cut. I know,
- 10:52Speaker 3: everybody's like called Colorado's nutsack right now, which is nice.
- 10:55Speaker 3: But Colorado won a national championship in the early nineties
- 10:59Speaker 3: on that fifth down against Missouri, so they basically they
- 11:02Speaker 3: didn't cheat. The rest just stop is what it was.
- 11:05Speaker 3: And they haven't won a conference title since. I want
- 11:09Speaker 3: to say, I don't even know if they want a
- 11:11Speaker 3: conference title two thousand and one maybe whatever it was.
- 11:15Speaker 3: They're not a powerhouse to see them up here in
- 11:18Speaker 3: playoff talk, not anymore now they've lost two games. But yeah,
- 11:21Speaker 3: it's nice.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's a lot of fun, like I said,
- 11:24Speaker 1: and it mixes up the Saturdays, at least for us
- 11:27Speaker 1: because where we are it's already cold thirties at night.
- 11:30Speaker 1: And it's pretty sweet because I still don't have heat
- 11:32Speaker 1: in my newly built bedroom, so it feels like forties.
- 11:38Speaker 1: It feels like I'm camping all the time. So if
- 11:41Speaker 1: you're listening to this heat guy, cool if you rolled
- 11:43Speaker 1: through pretty soon.
- 11:47Speaker 2: If you've got nothing going on, but it'd.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Be pretty cool. But yeah, we ended up over the weekend.
- 11:57Speaker 1: We ended up somehow kid free. So I was like,
- 11:59Speaker 1: ah' let's go check out a restaurant you know that
- 12:02Speaker 1: she's never been to. So there's this place called the Smokehouse.
- 12:06Speaker 1: I love smoke food and I think I think you
- 12:08Speaker 1: guys are fans of this as well. And we got there.
- 12:11Speaker 1: We were the only people in the entire restaurant for
- 12:16Speaker 1: two hours, and we just kept hanging out there. I'm like,
- 12:19Speaker 1: my beer wasn't even like halfway full. You want another one?
- 12:23Speaker 2: Yes?
- 12:23Speaker 3: Please?
- 12:24Speaker 1: You need anything else? And I'm telling you about this
- 12:26Speaker 1: food was amazing. We started off with some nachos, so
- 12:30Speaker 1: some pulled pork nachos cheese, I mean, just amazing. And
- 12:36Speaker 1: then they had this I'm gonna look it up see
- 12:37Speaker 1: if I can find it on the menu. Apparently it
- 12:39Speaker 1: was a sandwich that was in the top five of
- 12:43Speaker 1: a some kind of like Rachel Ray contest, which I
- 12:48Speaker 1: didn't really know. I probably should have looked that up
- 12:50Speaker 1: before we got there, but she's not.
- 12:52Speaker 2: I think you're safe.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Fair But I didn't even know that there was some
- 12:57Speaker 1: kind of contest for this. But the wife ended up
- 13:01Speaker 1: going with something. It was called the Smokehouse round Up.
- 13:03Speaker 1: It was slices of smoke beef brisket top with tomato,
- 13:07Speaker 1: hickory smoke, bacon, crispy homemade French fries, melted montery jack cheese,
- 13:13Speaker 1: served with a side of garlic mayo.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Did he say Monterrey?
- 13:17Speaker 2: He did? He did.
- 13:20Speaker 1: It's just I was in my brain. I was trying
- 13:23Speaker 1: to say it so I could trigger somebody, but I
- 13:27Speaker 1: wasn't looking at your faces to see if it was working,
- 13:29Speaker 1: so I just stumbled a little bit. They don't have it.
- 13:31Speaker 1: They don't have this, this this thing on the menu,
- 13:33Speaker 1: which is a little bit confusing to me. Anyways, it
- 13:38Speaker 1: was awesome, and I told the wife. I was like,
- 13:41Speaker 1: we we're gonna need to just go to places, drive around,
- 13:45Speaker 1: make sure that there is you know, nobody in the
- 13:47Speaker 1: parking lot, and then we'll just, uh, that's that's where
- 13:50Speaker 1: we'll go. Having a having a restaurant to yourself is
- 13:54Speaker 1: kind of it feels like you're a baller when you're not.
- 13:56Speaker 1: That makes sense.
- 13:57Speaker 2: There's just so many people wait under every mood, every move,
- 14:00Speaker 2: mood move just like, oh, hey, he took two SIPs,
- 14:03Speaker 2: we fill Oh just clean in her napkin. I see
- 14:06Speaker 2: that you have something in your beard. Would you like
- 14:07Speaker 2: to me to get that for you.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Well, it's a barbecue place, so they just have a
- 14:11Speaker 1: roll of paper towels there and they're like, hey, we
- 14:14Speaker 1: know things get messy, so just have had it.
- 14:17Speaker 2: I'm a slut for a good pulled pork nacho too,
- 14:20Speaker 2: Like it's especially if they put their homemade barbecue sauce
- 14:23Speaker 2: to go with there.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Geez, I went to this this you talk about pulled
- 14:28Speaker 3: pork nachos. I went to this food truck and they weren't.
- 14:34Speaker 3: They made nachos. You can have him with any protein.
- 14:37Speaker 3: I had a with breastket, which was Child's breastket. But
- 14:42Speaker 3: they smoked their chips fam so like their chips were
- 14:45Speaker 3: smoked and like they were crunchy and crispy and stuff still,
- 14:48Speaker 3: but like there was that smoky flavor in the chips too,
- 14:51Speaker 3: and you're like, oh man, this is this is that's
- 14:53Speaker 3: next level shit. One thing I want to say about
- 14:56Speaker 3: smoking food, I loved actual food that's been on a smoker.
- 15:00Speaker 3: I loathe not to be the guy with the pinky
- 15:03Speaker 3: in the air liquid smoke that shit that people put
- 15:06Speaker 3: on because they always overdo it and it just tastes
- 15:09Speaker 3: so fake and artificial.
- 15:12Speaker 1: It ruins, ruins the taste. Here's here's the nachos. Sorry,
- 15:15Speaker 1: I'm not trying to make you hungry, but I took
- 15:18Speaker 1: a picture of this to get the hand all of
- 15:21Speaker 1: the cheese all I mean. And it had their in
- 15:24Speaker 1: house smoked barbecue sauce on it too. Just unbelievable. This
- 15:30Speaker 1: is the inside of the bar. I was gonna show
- 15:31Speaker 1: the So this is the burger that I got. This
- 15:34Speaker 1: is a burger on this garlic bread comes with fries,
- 15:37Speaker 1: so it's a burger, buffalo chicken on top of it,
- 15:41Speaker 1: deep fried or whatever the something with the onions and
- 15:45Speaker 1: all these veggies and stuff. It was unbelievable. It was
- 15:49Speaker 1: like something I've never had. That's what I do when
- 15:50Speaker 1: I go to a menu, It's like what can I
- 15:52Speaker 1: not get anywhere else? Like what's the one? And this
- 15:55Speaker 1: one stood out? And I was like between the nachos,
- 15:58Speaker 1: like I could eat only half of that burger and
- 16:00Speaker 1: a couple of fries. Granted the Miller lattes wedluicious, they
- 16:05Speaker 1: didn't have my Jenny. I was a little let down.
- 16:07Speaker 1: I said, next time I come here, I want some
- 16:08Speaker 1: Jenny because they didn't have a drink menu. So I'm like, god,
- 16:11Speaker 1: you have a drink and they're like, we have a
- 16:12Speaker 1: full bar, and I was like, cool, there's nobody there,
- 16:15Speaker 1: so it's not real full. And then she didn't really
- 16:17Speaker 1: appreciate that joke. So I was like, but how am
- 16:20Speaker 1: I supposed to know? What the full I'll take a
- 16:21Speaker 1: Jenny Light. I don't think we have Jenny light. I'm like,
- 16:25Speaker 1: not a full bar, then is it? Do you have
- 16:28Speaker 1: any like drink specials or anything? No, we can make
- 16:30Speaker 1: whatever you want. And I was like, cool, Miller latte
- 16:34Speaker 1: like full bar.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Come fool bar. The bread, the bun on that burger
- 16:41Speaker 2: look fucking amazing. Oh right, that was. And those French fries.
- 16:47Speaker 2: How were those French fries? They were?
- 16:49Speaker 1: They were good. They were homemade fry as they advertised,
- 16:52Speaker 1: but to me, they I almost wonder if you can
- 16:55Speaker 1: buy frozen homemade fries or something, which I'm sure you
- 16:58Speaker 1: probably could, because they all look to be about the
- 17:00Speaker 1: same cut, which normally when I go to places and
- 17:03Speaker 1: their homemade fries, they're usually a little bit different, you
- 17:06Speaker 1: know what I mean? They but they were good.
- 17:08Speaker 2: They're using those TikTok shop dicer things whatever, those flap
- 17:12Speaker 2: chop things. Was also a sucker buying one. She got
- 17:17Speaker 2: the cheap ass version and that did not cut anything ass.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Do not recommend zero out of five stars. Yeah, I know.
- 17:27Speaker 1: I bought a very like industrial one, stainless steel potato cutters.
- 17:31Speaker 1: You put it in, got the lever, and then I
- 17:33Speaker 1: was like, man, do I really need to be eating
- 17:35Speaker 1: fries as much?
- 17:36Speaker 2: Yes? Absolutely did.
- 17:38Speaker 1: You shouldn't do it, and I actually don't know where
- 17:41Speaker 1: it is you.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Shouldn't make some curly fries.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Yeah, the bun on the burger, I gotta tell you,
- 17:49Speaker 3: there is other than the burger itself. Not much with
- 17:53Speaker 3: a burger that can really turn a burger sour, so
- 17:56Speaker 3: to speak for me, other than the bun. If that
- 17:59Speaker 3: bun isn't it toasted, isn't with clarified butter and then
- 18:02Speaker 3: thrown on the griddle, If it's stale, if it's cheap,
- 18:06Speaker 3: if it's a pretzel bunch. The pretzel bonds of shits
- 18:08Speaker 3: are usually terrible. Sometimes they're good, but other times it's
- 18:11Speaker 3: just dry, so chewy and shit. But a fund truly makes.
- 18:16Speaker 1: The burger mm hmm yeah. And not only that, And
- 18:20Speaker 1: how many times have you got a burger that the
- 18:22Speaker 1: bottom bun was just soggy because they you know, they
- 18:25Speaker 1: just said it on there, they didn't have anything under it,
- 18:27Speaker 1: And it just that pisses me off.
- 18:30Speaker 2: That makes you want to punch a baby, Like that
- 18:32Speaker 2: shit so aggravating.
- 18:34Speaker 3: I ask you, you bean, because I assume you eat terrible,
- 18:37Speaker 3: just as terribly as I do, Yes, sir, but maybe worse.
- 18:40Speaker 2: I'm sure. I probably.
- 18:43Speaker 3: You go to Burger King a lot.
- 18:45Speaker 2: I love Burger King.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Yeah, so me too. I used to love to go
- 18:48Speaker 3: to Burger King, and oh man, it was terrible. I'd
- 18:51Speaker 3: go there and I'd get like four like bacon cheeseburgers
- 18:55Speaker 3: or something like. It was just like just their cheap
- 18:57Speaker 3: ones old dollar fifty two dollars whatever it was at
- 18:59Speaker 3: the time. It's not that anymore, and I would just
- 19:01Speaker 3: smash on them and I would just be like, oh,
- 19:03Speaker 3: this is awful. Why did I just do this my body.
- 19:05Speaker 3: But I used to get burgers from them little cheap ones,
- 19:09Speaker 3: and sometimes the bun would be stale. You ever eating
- 19:11Speaker 3: a stale bun from burger king where it's kind of
- 19:13Speaker 3: hard to grows, It's like, come on, man, And it's usually.
- 19:15Speaker 2: On one side to where it kind of gets you
- 19:17Speaker 2: like you're like, you'll start off, you're like, oh, this
- 19:19Speaker 2: is really good, and then you get to the one
- 19:20Speaker 2: side where it's like mangled a little bit and just dry,
- 19:24Speaker 2: almost like it's a cork, like a wine cork, and
- 19:27Speaker 2: you're like, what is this ass? But we paid for it,
- 19:32Speaker 2: so we're feeding it one hundred percent. You just take
- 19:34Speaker 2: another drink if you drink and everything and just keep
- 19:37Speaker 2: it in there at the same time moisten. It just
- 19:39Speaker 2: is that crazy.
- 19:40Speaker 3: We'll go to the store, we'll buy, you know, a
- 19:42Speaker 3: bunch of food, we'll buy veggies or whatever else, and
- 19:45Speaker 3: we'll let that shit go to waste. I will never
- 19:48Speaker 3: let fast food go to waste. I don't care if
- 19:50Speaker 3: it's a French fry or what I mean.
- 19:52Speaker 2: See, that's my problem too, is and the kids love
- 19:54Speaker 2: to order an excess amount and then they're like I'm done,
- 19:58Speaker 2: and I'm like and him shame if those four nuggets
- 20:02Speaker 2: went to waste. Even though I just had a big
- 20:05Speaker 2: mac and a large fry and some of the toddlers
- 20:08Speaker 2: other nuggets, I still can't let these gold wassts. So there,
- 20:11Speaker 2: I am. It could be I can step out to
- 20:13Speaker 2: the shop, come back up in the morning, or you know,
- 20:16Speaker 2: three hours later, it could be a cold ass nugget.
- 20:18Speaker 2: There I am. Is this eating them and everything? I'm like,
- 20:22Speaker 2: don't throw those away. Dad will get to it. My
- 20:26Speaker 2: wife thinks it's disgusting that I will keep a cold
- 20:28Speaker 2: cheeseburger or I'll put a cheeseburger in the fridge. She's like,
- 20:32Speaker 2: I can't eat that. And I'm like, yeah, keep that there.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I'll take care of it, don't worry about that. Will
- 20:37Speaker 2: not stay in the fridge long. I'll just take you
- 20:41Speaker 2: straight out. I want to microwave it and just eat it.
- 20:42Speaker 2: She's like, damn it as dry as fu there is.
- 20:47Speaker 1: I don't give a what's one of the foods that
- 20:51Speaker 1: you prefer cold, not the obvious cereal or ice cream
- 20:55Speaker 1: or some shit that's designated there, Like like for me,
- 20:57Speaker 1: I prefer chicken wings cold, and I know some people
- 21:01Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. I love a good
- 21:03Speaker 1: cold chicken wing, I think for me because it's easier
- 21:06Speaker 1: to eat, Like the sauce is kind of absorbed in it,
- 21:08Speaker 1: it's not there. It doesn't get everyone.
- 21:09Speaker 2: I know.
- 21:09Speaker 1: That's part of eating a chicken wing. Do I like
- 21:11Speaker 1: them fresh and hot and crispy. Yes, But for some reason,
- 21:14Speaker 1: I'll just get them to go and then I'll eat
- 21:16Speaker 1: them either later or the next day or something. I
- 21:18Speaker 1: just I don't know. It's the thing.
- 21:21Speaker 3: So chicken wings are obviously better warm. But to your point,
- 21:26Speaker 3: if I have a leftover chicken wings in the fridge,
- 21:28Speaker 3: there's something about dipping cold chicken with barbecue and stuff
- 21:32Speaker 3: on like ranch or blue cheese and eat. There's something
- 21:35Speaker 3: about it. Pizza is another one for me, Like I
- 21:39Speaker 3: don't prefer pizza cold because I like warm peza. There's
- 21:42Speaker 3: nothing greater than warm dough and cheese and grease and
- 21:45Speaker 3: all that hit on top of it.
- 21:46Speaker 1: But daddy, chill, you get a cold pizza.
- 21:48Speaker 3: You don't have to worry about all that stuff other
- 21:49Speaker 3: than the sauce getting on you, you know, so you
- 21:52Speaker 3: just eat at it. Pizza is the best. Cold.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Cold pizza is fantastic that's what I was gonna go with.
- 21:58Speaker 2: So you're a slug for saying that. But all right,
- 22:02Speaker 2: if I'm just going back to cold chicken nugget, man,
- 22:05Speaker 2: I don't know what it is, I will fuck that up.
- 22:09Speaker 2: And you mentioned wings, but b dubs if I I
- 22:12Speaker 2: know they're bone those wings. I know there's no real wings. Uh.
- 22:15Speaker 2: But if we get the boneous ones, uh, and then
- 22:17Speaker 2: they're the mango habannarrow ones, I will not warm those up.
- 22:21Speaker 2: I like them better cold. I don't know what it is.
- 22:23Speaker 2: I will you said dipping it in the saucer stuff.
- 22:25Speaker 2: I have some of that left over quise though, h
- 22:29Speaker 2: hard thinking about it. I'm darvin.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Can I ask you guys question?
- 22:32Speaker 2: No, what does this look like? It's venus? Oh? That
- 22:38Speaker 2: looks titty?
- 22:38Speaker 3: Was that a t but totally the end of it
- 22:42Speaker 3: like that is straight? The other side s fine, just like.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Hulk, and then the other side the normal Hulk.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Anyway, I'm done with pre second on it.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Been playing with it.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Stand up, somebody's going.
- 23:05Speaker 3: I just showed you this, and I don't want to
- 23:06Speaker 3: be I don't want to be a letdown.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Uh.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Speaking of food and cold and stuff like that. We
- 23:14Speaker 1: recently I was chatting with somebody on the Instagram and
- 23:17Speaker 1: they're going to send us over something and I'm super
- 23:19Speaker 1: excited about it because I've always had it, had a
- 23:21Speaker 1: thing that everything's better than tortillas. Being a guy with
- 23:25Speaker 1: a big beard, the mustache, and almost any kind of
- 23:27Speaker 1: meal you can put into tortilla. They're fairly healthy, and uh,
- 23:31Speaker 1: you put it in there. So have you guys seen
- 23:33Speaker 1: this yet. It's called the crimp it. I haven't got
- 23:36Speaker 1: one yet, but I am excited for this. It's a
- 23:41Speaker 1: it's a tortilla sealer, so you can get here. You
- 23:45Speaker 1: put it in here, and it actually crimps the edges,
- 23:47Speaker 1: so you just build them up. Come over and finally.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Here and we're so excited to show you.
- 23:53Speaker 1: You're so excited, I'm gonna I'm gonna go full spreen.
- 23:55Speaker 3: And we're so excited to show you.
- 24:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna throw list in here. So obviously opens up.
- 24:02Speaker 1: And I think what I've read is a lot of
- 24:03Speaker 1: people they do it. They seal it, then they either
- 24:05Speaker 1: air fry it after Oh well that's right, or you
- 24:10Speaker 1: can heat it up first. But yeah, they do that.
- 24:11Speaker 1: They make the sandwich, throw it in the air fryer.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Put it on a pan. Make yourself these you know
- 24:16Speaker 1: wraps that whether they're case ideas, whether or whatever. Like
- 24:20Speaker 1: I am stoked. You can use the large tortilla shells,
- 24:23Speaker 1: you can use smaller ones, any size really.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Right, count me in.
- 24:30Speaker 2: I I would fuck some shit up with that. I'm
- 24:33Speaker 2: a big fan of tortillas as well. If I can
- 24:35Speaker 2: wrap anything into one thing and make it easier, Like
- 24:39Speaker 2: I'm going to McDonald's and I'm getting a sausage McMuffin.
- 24:42Speaker 2: I will never get a hash brown unless it's free
- 24:44Speaker 2: off the rewards thing or something. Have you seen the
- 24:47Speaker 2: price of a fucking hash brown at McDonald's. No, it's
- 24:51Speaker 2: like three dollars dollars for one fucking hash brown. Now
- 24:56Speaker 2: I'm gonna look at them again because really big, I'm.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Telling thing is And I'm sure if you were to
- 25:01Speaker 1: go on the app right now, because you set it
- 25:03Speaker 1: out loud and whatever, they'll be like buy one, get
- 25:05Speaker 1: three free has browned see. But it is getting expensive
- 25:08Speaker 1: because people complain all the time. Like my parents they'll
- 25:12Speaker 1: they'll travel to go see my gramm or something, and
- 25:14Speaker 1: they were like, you know, she lives in like a
- 25:17Speaker 1: like a nursing home or whatever the proper word is
- 25:19Speaker 1: for them. So she doesn't get out a lot. She
- 25:20Speaker 1: eats a lot of the meals there and stuff like that,
- 25:23Speaker 1: and she'll go out and be like, Oh, let's just
- 25:24Speaker 1: grab McDonald's or something quick whatever, And Dad's like, he's
- 25:27Speaker 1: kind of like us that we've talked about. I'd rather
- 25:29Speaker 1: go to a diner, a restaurant or anything else, because
- 25:33Speaker 1: you're gonna get it for the same price, if not cheaper,
- 25:35Speaker 1: for better quality food. You know that isn't fast food.
- 25:40Speaker 1: So they go to the Applebee's.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Now, see, I like Applebe's. They're tearing a lot of
- 25:46Speaker 2: them down around here though, unfortunately, but the one in
- 25:49Speaker 2: our college town beautiful. Love it in a Hash Brown?
- 25:53Speaker 2: It's two eighty nine?
- 25:56Speaker 3: Bro, are you kidding me?
- 25:57Speaker 2: For one hash? Do you remember when the east be
- 25:59Speaker 2: two for an hour?
- 26:01Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 26:02Speaker 2: Man, that could be that walking uphill in the snow
- 26:05Speaker 2: both ways the school type of person. But I do
- 26:08Speaker 2: remember when you used to be able to get two
- 26:10Speaker 2: Hash Browns for a dollar and I would get a
- 26:14Speaker 2: eight McMuffin.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Huh, Oh, what's you're saying? Two nineteen?
- 26:20Speaker 2: What? Shut the fuck? Why is mine? We're two hours
- 26:25Speaker 2: away from each other?
- 26:26Speaker 1: Let me see what it is on mine. Due anybody
- 26:28Speaker 1: else that's listening, I need you to grab the phone.
- 26:30Speaker 1: If you have the app for craft Donald's, look it up.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Tell us what a hash brown is on your app,
- 26:35Speaker 1: because we already have that is different prices, but.
- 26:39Speaker 3: That is a that is leaps and bounds away from
- 26:41Speaker 3: each other. That's a big price for a fucking for the.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Fact that we can meet up with each other in
- 26:47Speaker 2: two hours roughly, you know what I mean.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Okay, So let's let's compare, shall we. How much is
- 26:53Speaker 3: your uh your sausage McMuffin?
- 26:56Speaker 1: Why do you search on this app? Is there like
- 26:58Speaker 1: a search bar?
- 26:59Speaker 3: I just want to get order than dollars?
- 27:01Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 27:01Speaker 1: Yeah, Actually, like I'm a rookie.
- 27:03Speaker 2: Okay, so you said a two and three dollars menu?
- 27:06Speaker 1: Okay, okay, what was your hash brown? Because we have
- 27:09Speaker 1: three different prices? You were two eighty nine, You've been right, Yes,
- 27:13Speaker 1: you were two nineteen, Brandon, yep, I don't if you
- 27:17Speaker 1: can see it two thirty nine.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Why do I have the different pricess of hash browns?
- 27:23Speaker 3: Dude?
- 27:23Speaker 2: This is a bold shit. I'm the only one upset
- 27:25Speaker 2: about this because I'm the only one affected this is.
- 27:28Speaker 3: A port ship. Somebody pick another, pick another item to compare.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Okay, so you said sausage McMuffin, right, yes, sausage McMuffin.
- 27:34Speaker 2: It is two thirty nine.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Here, fuck you, it's two ninety nine.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Let's go, motherfucker.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Okay, guess what my name is? Two twenty nine?
- 27:43Speaker 2: What?
- 27:44Speaker 1: What the fuck?
- 27:45Speaker 2: Hey? So is yours? Also? Buy one, get one all
- 27:48Speaker 2: the time, because if I put two of them on there,
- 27:50Speaker 2: it's buy one, get one for a buck. Teach you
- 27:54Speaker 2: to get some secrets here.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Almost I have a buy one breakfast sandwich, get one
- 27:57Speaker 1: free or yes they are buy.
- 27:59Speaker 3: One, get one, Yeah, so three it's four ninety nine,
- 28:03Speaker 3: three ninety nine for two of them.
- 28:05Speaker 2: So usually with the deal, because he offer you something
- 28:08Speaker 2: for free every day. I sometimes with the hash brown,
- 28:11Speaker 2: you can get buy one, get one McMuffin, large drink
- 28:16Speaker 2: and a hash brown for like five thirty All.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Right, last one? Go to go back to the main menu,
- 28:24Speaker 3: explore menu, click on sandwiches and meals. Mm, and what's
- 28:28Speaker 3: the top one listed? Not the price, but the top
- 28:30Speaker 3: the featured.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Yeah, mine comes up featured bacon, egg cheese bagel.
- 28:36Speaker 3: That's what I have too. Five nineteen.
- 28:40Speaker 1: What the fucker just for the sandwich.
- 28:42Speaker 3: Just for the sandwich, seven seventy nine for the meal.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Holy shit, what do you got even because mine is not.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Mine's not that cheap. So mine's five seventy nine for
- 28:55Speaker 2: the sandwich and then the meal is nine to nineteen.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Okay, listen to this. Mine five eighty nine for the sandwich,
- 29:05Speaker 1: in nine nineteen for the meal.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Jesus dude.
- 29:08Speaker 1: So wow, fuck conspiracy bro Oh did we just unlock something? McDonalds.
- 29:15Speaker 1: We're on. We're not. They're probably listening to. They're pretty
- 29:17Speaker 1: big and they can probably get rid of us so easily,
- 29:19Speaker 1: so we're not listening. This is just fun.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Are are you mikefucking me right now? This is insane?
- 29:25Speaker 2: So like I saw ay, I'm not I'm not a
- 29:27Speaker 2: conspiracy theorist, but I did see something yesterday, so this
- 29:30Speaker 2: is kind of why it's blowing my mind. So apparently
- 29:32Speaker 2: with that five dollars deal they got going on, everyone's
- 29:35Speaker 2: been buying the smaller fry, which is why they've been
- 29:39Speaker 2: offering you the Hey, if you just spend a dollar,
- 29:42Speaker 2: we'll give you a free large fry. They had to
- 29:44Speaker 2: close down a fuck I can't remember where it was that,
- 29:47Speaker 2: but apparently they lost like three hundred jobs. They had
- 29:49Speaker 2: to close a plant down because the economy and the
- 29:53Speaker 2: way that people have been purchasing their meals has changed
- 29:55Speaker 2: so drastically. They can't keep up with the production of
- 29:59Speaker 2: something or other. Can't remeber what the fuck it was.
- 30:00Speaker 3: We're sorry, Susan. You're a great worker, you've been here
- 30:03Speaker 3: twenty years. But people aren't buying small fries anymore.
- 30:05Speaker 2: We're not. Let you know, I was like, this is
- 30:08Speaker 2: so I don't know, I'm not We've talked about this before.
- 30:13Speaker 2: McDonald's fries overrated. I'm not even a huge fan of
- 30:16Speaker 2: their fries.
- 30:18Speaker 3: I'm gonna say something that's really spicy. Fries in general
- 30:22Speaker 3: are overrated. Now. I will eat them, but I'm not
- 30:25Speaker 3: going there for the fries. I'm going there for the burger,
- 30:27Speaker 3: for whatever else, and then the frieser are you know,
- 30:30Speaker 3: fucking on the side.
- 30:31Speaker 1: What would be a side that maybe we can be
- 30:34Speaker 1: revolutionary that goes better that maybe some of these, like
- 30:37Speaker 1: I love on Arbi's, you have options. Maybe you want
- 30:39Speaker 1: the baked potato, maybe American, multiple different kinds of fries.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Maybe you know what I mean, Like, there's got to
- 30:45Speaker 1: be potentially a side because I read something the other
- 30:47Speaker 1: day that fifty percent of Americans adults are now diabetics,
- 30:53Speaker 1: seventy five percent of the youth in America are technically
- 30:57Speaker 1: overweight and approaching obese. Set at McDonald's, I.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Still can't believe how the like the price variations for
- 31:07Speaker 2: how close we are, like where the states touch each other.
- 31:10Speaker 2: This is what's what's the horse shit? You know? That
- 31:13Speaker 2: is assuming Matts would be like thirteen dollars for every
- 31:17Speaker 2: meal or something, you know what I mean. I always
- 31:18Speaker 2: assuming that yours was going to be extremely.
- 31:20Speaker 1: High, only because I live in New York and you
- 31:22Speaker 1: guys are like New York City. But you got to
- 31:25Speaker 1: remember we're the same size schools you've been. We're pretty small.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Aren't you closer to like Montreal or almost said Tornado,
- 31:35Speaker 3: Toronto than you are in the city.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Yeah, it's actually four hours to Toronto, two hours to Montreal,
- 31:42Speaker 1: an hour to Ottawa, and six minutes to Canada, and
- 31:48Speaker 1: it's probably eight hours to New York City.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Jesus. Yeah, So so do you have your from me
- 31:55Speaker 3: asking your passport where you can walk over? Do you
- 31:57Speaker 3: have a passport?
- 31:57Speaker 1: We have to fly hour no matter what. You you
- 32:00Speaker 1: can't walk over, you can drive over. You have to
- 32:05Speaker 1: pay a toll drive over, and then they want you
- 32:09Speaker 1: to have what is called an enhanced license. So it's
- 32:11Speaker 1: more or less it goes into the system for border towns.
- 32:14Speaker 1: I'm assuming, but maybe I shouldn't. You know, it'd be
- 32:16Speaker 1: the same in the south, But any place that has
- 32:19Speaker 1: borders with Canada, you can get an enhanced license or
- 32:22Speaker 1: a passport. I have an expired passport, but you can
- 32:25Speaker 1: still get over and back with a driver's license and
- 32:28Speaker 1: a birth certificate. So that's typically because a lot of
- 32:31Speaker 1: times we'll bring that for the kids too, we'll bring
- 32:33Speaker 1: obviously they don't have a license, they don't have passports,
- 32:36Speaker 1: and they can't get an enhanced license, so you bring
- 32:38Speaker 1: a birth certificate. And then if you know, like in
- 32:40Speaker 1: the situation with me where my daughter and her mother
- 32:44Speaker 1: don't obviously live together, you have to get a written
- 32:46Speaker 1: note from the other parent to have approval. And they
- 32:49Speaker 1: don't usually hold you up. I mean, by the time
- 32:51Speaker 1: you get there with all the cameras and the scans
- 32:53Speaker 1: and stuff, they already know what you pretty much have
- 32:55Speaker 1: going on. If they're gonna let you go or if
- 32:57Speaker 1: they're going to pull you over and search you, I mean,
- 32:59Speaker 1: if you don't. And the thing too is if you
- 33:01Speaker 1: have like a DWI, a felony, I maybe a misdemeanor
- 33:06Speaker 1: I can't remember, you're not allowed in Canada for at
- 33:08Speaker 1: least ten years, and then you have to actually apply,
- 33:12Speaker 1: pay money, thousands of dollars apply, You could get denied.
- 33:15Speaker 1: You could get there just for the ability to apply
- 33:17Speaker 1: to get back to go to Canada.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Jeezus.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Yeah, and a lot of times too. I mean, technically,
- 33:24Speaker 1: I think they can't refuse you to get back into
- 33:26Speaker 1: the country. But going over there, you know, they they'll
- 33:29Speaker 1: kind of give you more questions and this and that.
- 33:30Speaker 1: On the way home, it's usually not too bad, Like
- 33:32Speaker 1: especially for us, like we're crossing, you know, right in
- 33:35Speaker 1: the city where we have a bridge, Like if we
- 33:37Speaker 1: were to try to cross on a bridge an hour away,
- 33:40Speaker 1: they kind of get pissed, like why don't you just
- 33:41Speaker 1: cross on your own bridge? Like what do you got
- 33:43Speaker 1: going on? And it's kind of sketchy. But now that
- 33:45Speaker 1: I'm older, it's not like they go through the vehicle
- 33:48Speaker 1: looking for something, you know, And what's weird. Even though
- 33:53Speaker 1: marijuana is legal in Canada and the state of New York.
- 33:56Speaker 1: You still cannot bring it with you there or bring
- 34:00Speaker 1: any back alcohol. You can, you just have to pay
- 34:03Speaker 1: a tax on it, but you can't bring back and
- 34:05Speaker 1: you can only bring in like certain fresh foods and
- 34:08Speaker 1: certain liquids and stuff like that.
- 34:10Speaker 2: But there's I can't remember his name. There's this guy
- 34:15Speaker 2: that's on TikTok that I think has he's a he's
- 34:19Speaker 2: a short king. I think he has a touch of
- 34:22Speaker 2: the dwarf ism, but he has a mullet and he
- 34:25Speaker 2: always has like this look on his face and everything.
- 34:28Speaker 2: And he goes through Canada every single day. And eventually,
- 34:32Speaker 2: like these porter patrol people are like, dude, what are
- 34:35Speaker 2: you doing. He's a hot I'm just getting coffee, just
- 34:38Speaker 2: going Tim Horton's. And they're like, there's there's one ten
- 34:43Speaker 2: miles back, like literally in your country, why don't you
- 34:46Speaker 2: just get it there? And he goes, Nah, just tastes better,
- 34:48Speaker 2: and he just goes to it every single day.
- 34:52Speaker 1: I'm not gonna lie to you. Fast food definitely tastes
- 34:55Speaker 1: different and better in Canada. I mean we've been twisted, really.
- 35:00Speaker 1: The regulations are different. There's even like a list of
- 35:02Speaker 1: cereals that are sold in the US that are banned
- 35:05Speaker 1: in Canada and all these other countries. And I ended
- 35:08Speaker 1: up one of the kids was showing me a video
- 35:10Speaker 1: where they have these people. I want to say, like
- 35:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, UK, let's go London because of football.
- 35:16Speaker 1: They're over there and they're these students and they're trying
- 35:19Speaker 1: American cereals, American candies and stuff, and they're just like,
- 35:22Speaker 1: oh trash, you know what I mean, Like, oh, why
- 35:25Speaker 1: is it so sweet? And they look it up like
- 35:27Speaker 1: why are all these hazard just chemicals in here, and
- 35:29Speaker 1: like they're just banned. Like Canada has like seven hundred
- 35:33Speaker 1: roughly or something like that foods through the U. Well
- 35:36Speaker 1: it's not USDA, but the Canada food and drug whatever
- 35:40Speaker 1: that you know, that are allowed through and like over
- 35:43Speaker 1: in the US it's like hundreds of thousands, you know,
- 35:45Speaker 1: Like we're over here for some reason, we just keep
- 35:49Speaker 1: feeding on ourselves shitty chemically cancer triggering foods.
- 35:54Speaker 2: I'm assuming recess Puffs is probably on that list, which
- 35:56Speaker 2: is a damn shame because it's delicious. But I I
- 36:00Speaker 2: was walking through the store yesterday and I saw that
- 36:01Speaker 2: they have and this this has probably out forever, but
- 36:04Speaker 2: I didn't notice it. But it's Reese's Puff's all peanut butter.
- 36:07Speaker 2: So it's just Reese's puff peanut butter cereal, And I'm like,
- 36:12Speaker 2: I'm a slut freak captain crunched peanut butter like cereal.
- 36:15Speaker 2: That's my all time favorite. I'm wondering how this one
- 36:18Speaker 2: would because I'm pretty sure it's slaps.
- 36:20Speaker 3: You know what I've learned a lot in this show,
- 36:22Speaker 3: and our viewers like they have too, is that Eman
- 36:24Speaker 3: is a slut for a lot of things.
- 36:26Speaker 2: I'm a whore.
- 36:28Speaker 1: You could have just stopped Youban's a slut. Yep, I
- 36:31Speaker 1: don't get a name like that. For anybody that wants
- 36:34Speaker 1: to see Uban's potentially new persona, make sure you guys
- 36:38Speaker 1: check out the Body Wrong podcast last week. He has
- 36:41Speaker 1: a new character and a new wig and a whole
- 36:46Speaker 1: different vibe. I'm gonna tell you it was a different
- 36:48Speaker 1: vibe for anybody that's a Dungeons and Dragons fan as well.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Maybe we got some nerds listening to this, go check
- 36:53Speaker 1: it out. We put our take on Dungeons and Dragons.
- 36:56Speaker 1: We had an epic quest to destroy a mirror at
- 36:59Speaker 1: the Neverland branch and it was interesting.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Those chambers had a lot of secrets. It was it
- 37:09Speaker 2: was different, that was but that persona was a vibe.
- 37:13Speaker 2: I had a really good time. I'm upset that we
- 37:16Speaker 2: only do that monthly now because I feel like.
- 37:18Speaker 1: It is your show. You could you can do it
- 37:20Speaker 1: as much as far as little as you want. But
- 37:23Speaker 1: speaking of Gabe and potentially Gabe's character is the first name,
- 37:26Speaker 1: I'm not gonna give you the last name, but he
- 37:29Speaker 1: his character in the game was pretty high, very under
- 37:33Speaker 1: the influence. And tell you what, so was I last night.
- 37:36Speaker 1: I went to the highest peak. Shout out to them.
- 37:38Speaker 1: It's a dispensary, the first, I believe one of the first,
- 37:42Speaker 1: if not the first, majority woman owned cannabis dispensary in
- 37:46Speaker 1: Saint Lawrence County, in the first New York state legal dispensary.
- 37:50Speaker 1: And I had been meaning to get over there. It's
- 37:53Speaker 1: got myself a hat and a shirt, and I was like,
- 37:56Speaker 1: you know what these blueberry little gummies. They they sound
- 37:59Speaker 1: fan fantastic. They do a good thing where all of
- 38:02Speaker 1: the products are made in New York and all that
- 38:03Speaker 1: good stuff. So I was like, I'll try one. And
- 38:06Speaker 1: it was only a ten, but I'm telling ya, it
- 38:09Speaker 1: hit me like a thousand. I don't know what it was.
- 38:11Speaker 1: All of a sudden, I was there and I could
- 38:13Speaker 1: just feel myself and it was like forty minutes in.
- 38:16Speaker 1: I was I was singing it was gonna take a
- 38:17Speaker 1: little bit longer, and finally it was just like then
- 38:19Speaker 1: you got that full body buzz and then all of
- 38:21Speaker 1: a sudden, you know when you get a little bit
- 38:22Speaker 1: too high, a little to it almost like you're gonna
- 38:25Speaker 1: throw it, but you get that weird feeling in your
- 38:26Speaker 1: throat where you're like, oh could I That was there
- 38:29Speaker 1: for about ten minutes, and then finally I was just
- 38:31Speaker 1: like it was fantastic and they tasted so good.
- 38:37Speaker 3: You know what's funny about it for me is that
- 38:40Speaker 3: sometimes I'll I'll take the I'll take one or two,
- 38:43Speaker 3: and it's the same ones that I take, no more
- 38:45Speaker 3: dosas than normal one.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Uh.
- 38:48Speaker 3: I've had it to where it'll go hmmm, plateau and
- 38:51Speaker 3: then stay across, and then I've had it where it goes,
- 38:54Speaker 3: oh shit, I better go to sleep. Oh shit, I
- 38:56Speaker 3: better go to sleep, because this is gonna get good.
- 38:58Speaker 3: And it's like just keeps growing. My Holy shit, what
- 39:00Speaker 3: the is it was that a better batge or something.
- 39:03Speaker 3: It's supposed to be pretty you know, they're supposed to
- 39:05Speaker 3: be pretty consistent, aren't they, like legally and federally.
- 39:08Speaker 2: But yeah, I uh, I got violently by last weekend.
- 39:15Speaker 2: So I was eating gummies. I ate one of these
- 39:18Speaker 2: homemade animals at the.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Home.
- 39:21Speaker 2: Uh, the housekeeper found at the hotels, so probably shouldn't
- 39:25Speaker 2: ate one of those, but it wasn't bad.
- 39:27Speaker 3: Uh.
- 39:28Speaker 2: And then of course smoked a little bit. But I'm
- 39:29Speaker 2: on the deck and say, like you were talking about,
- 39:32Speaker 2: like I'm usually know when I can handle everything else,
- 39:35Speaker 2: and I'm just getting to the point where I'm like
- 39:38Speaker 2: i feel my heart racing again, and I'm like, am
- 39:39Speaker 2: I gonna die?
- 39:40Speaker 3: I'm like, oh my god, I.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Thought to myself, and I was like, do I need
- 39:44Speaker 2: to call somebody? Then I hear sirens right, and I'm
- 39:47Speaker 2: like that's getting closer, and I'm like, am I visiting this?
- 39:51Speaker 3: Like?
- 39:51Speaker 2: Is this is this really happening? Next thing? I know,
- 39:54Speaker 2: it's getting closer and closer. My heart's really racing. I'm like,
- 39:58Speaker 2: it's coming for me. It's coming for me. It turns
- 40:00Speaker 2: down my road. I live on that middle fucking nowhere.
- 40:02Speaker 2: It's going down this grab a road and I'm like,
- 40:05Speaker 2: they're here for me, they know what's going on. It
- 40:07Speaker 2: just passes my road and I'm like what the fuck?
- 40:10Speaker 2: And I knew nobody would believe me, so I got
- 40:12Speaker 2: my snapchat out my camera and then videoed it going
- 40:15Speaker 2: down the road. I asked all the neighbors. I was like, Hey,
- 40:19Speaker 2: what happened? Did that go to your house? Everybody? Okay?
- 40:22Speaker 2: Everyone's like, uh, we didn't see name ones going by,
- 40:24Speaker 2: and I'm like bullshit, Like there's how sirens were going
- 40:28Speaker 2: off everything else. Nope, didn't know anything, and I'm like,
- 40:31Speaker 2: this is some shit. So five days later find out
- 40:34Speaker 2: somebody passed away. It's unfortunate, but I wasn't crazy. There
- 40:38Speaker 2: wasn't an once down the road. But I was so
- 40:41Speaker 2: fucking high. I was like, they're gonna put me on
- 40:43Speaker 2: a gurney, They're gonna send me out of here. I'm dead.
- 40:46Speaker 2: I'm like, fuck, I don't have a will. I'm so screwed.
- 40:51Speaker 2: Everything was running through my mind. So it's good to
- 40:55Speaker 2: know that still happens, even after all this time, that
- 40:57Speaker 2: I can still get paranormally high.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Yes, yes, you did have you guys ever seen the
- 41:03Speaker 1: like energy boosting or sleep cannabis pills. There was a
- 41:09Speaker 1: there was a pack of them. Like I said, they
- 41:11Speaker 1: sent the highest Peak sent a very awesome, you know,
- 41:15Speaker 1: like care package obviously with a hat and stuff like that.
- 41:17Speaker 1: They gave like a drink which is like a five
- 41:21Speaker 1: milligram drink, all these pills, the blueberry ones, they like
- 41:26Speaker 1: a very heavy Indica gummy. Then they gave me like
- 41:29Speaker 1: these monster Mango hundreds and I'm like, oh, I hope
- 41:34Speaker 1: I don't acceillently need one of them, because then I
- 41:36Speaker 1: will have a moments what the tens did. But uh, yeah,
- 41:41Speaker 1: I don't know, like I said, And they had They
- 41:43Speaker 1: had a couple of pre rolls. We were on the
- 41:44Speaker 1: go yesterday, so I picked up one. It was a
- 41:46Speaker 1: baby Yoda in a Jetty infused pre roll. So I'm
- 41:53Speaker 1: excited for those potentially today.
- 41:55Speaker 2: The so, the local guy that we get our stuff from,
- 42:02Speaker 2: he has baby Yoda as well, and I'm unfortunately I
- 42:05Speaker 2: didn't get that one this time, but the names that
- 42:08Speaker 2: he has are very weird as well. I got alien Mint, oh,
- 42:12Speaker 2: and that one was weird. I can't remember what the
- 42:15Speaker 2: hell it was called. Oh, that's my favorite so far. Stankhouse. Yeah,
- 42:20Speaker 2: Stankhouse has been very kind to me.
- 42:24Speaker 1: I thought it was decent they charged. I think it's
- 42:26Speaker 1: the baby Yoda was a pre roll. It's a it's
- 42:29Speaker 1: an Indica. It to half a gram and they charged
- 42:30Speaker 1: like seven bucks, which I think is you know, pretty
- 42:34Speaker 1: fair as well. And then I think the other pre
- 42:36Speaker 1: roll was a Grand Prix roll because I'm that type
- 42:39Speaker 1: of person. I walked in and to the person that
- 42:41Speaker 1: was working Awesome hind encounter and I was like, all right,
- 42:43Speaker 1: what's your go to? She's like, just for the pre rolls,
- 42:46Speaker 1: the carts whatever. I'm like, no, I want a pre
- 42:48Speaker 1: roll and walk right over. I was like, this is
- 42:51Speaker 1: the one, and it was that jetty. I'm like sold.
- 42:54Speaker 1: I think it was only like twelve bucks twelve maybe
- 42:56Speaker 1: thirteen something like that for a Grand Prix. I didn't
- 43:00Speaker 1: try it yet, but that's today's adventure.
- 43:04Speaker 2: That's that's about the prices they have here. And some
- 43:08Speaker 2: of the buttenders at some of the stores too, tell
- 43:10Speaker 2: me that getting the pre rolls aren't They don't recommend
- 43:15Speaker 2: it just because it's all the shake. It's like the
- 43:18Speaker 2: the worst of the worst of it, and I'm like,
- 43:20Speaker 2: it's still weed and I don't get rid of shit,
- 43:21Speaker 2: you know, but they encourage you to get the actual
- 43:25Speaker 2: bud and do it yourself, and I'm like, no, too
- 43:28Speaker 2: much work all.
- 43:29Speaker 1: That, and it's just like like for us, like we're
- 43:31Speaker 1: on the go, you know what I mean, it wasn't
- 43:33Speaker 1: going to get it. I didn't have anything with me,
- 43:34Speaker 1: so it's like, do I just buy a pre roll
- 43:36Speaker 1: or you know, it's like I don't need another piece.
- 43:39Speaker 1: I don't need another pipe, I don't need another travel thing.
- 43:41Speaker 1: I don't need, you know what I mean. And I
- 43:42Speaker 1: was like, I don't really feel like rolling one myself,
- 43:44Speaker 1: so I could just give you, you know, twenty bucks and
- 43:47Speaker 1: have a couple of Like that seems a little bit
- 43:49Speaker 1: easier than you.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Know, you can only get like three Hash brands over
- 43:53Speaker 2: here for a price of a pre roll.
- 43:55Speaker 1: Yeah, but over here you might be able to get four.
- 43:57Speaker 2: It's sane, it's still upsetting.
- 44:00Speaker 1: It's unbelievable, man. So I don't know, we can we
- 44:03Speaker 1: can wrap this up if you guys got some stuff
- 44:05Speaker 1: to do. Seems like a good time before we do, though,
- 44:08Speaker 1: I will say the old leaves are changing. Get yourself
- 44:12Speaker 1: some flannels. Especially if you have no heat in your room,
- 44:14Speaker 1: you're gonna need some Vermont flannels, and I'm going to
- 44:17Speaker 1: I just purchase. They have blankets, flannel blankets, and I
- 44:20Speaker 1: heard they are amazing. Coworker came to me, he's like, hey,
- 44:23Speaker 1: I love that flannel. I was like, oh, thanks, many
- 44:25Speaker 1: was it said Vermont Flannel. Of course he's an ll
- 44:27Speaker 1: Bean guy, which whenever I'm trying to convert them. But
- 44:29Speaker 1: it turns out he's been buying ll Bean since nineteen
- 44:32Speaker 1: ninety nine, so he's got everything in the catalog. He's
- 44:34Speaker 1: probably not switching, but he does have one of those blankets,
- 44:36Speaker 1: and he's like, it's the only blanket I bring to
- 44:38Speaker 1: hunting camp. I was thinking, well, there's probably a lot
- 44:41Speaker 1: of semen on that, but good for you. But either way,
- 44:43Speaker 1: go to Vermont Flannel dot com, use code beard Laws
- 44:46Speaker 1: twenty four and always check out O friends Copper John's
- 44:48Speaker 1: use code beard lass. Save yourself some money. And it
- 44:52Speaker 1: might be on the internet because I think I posted,
- 44:53Speaker 1: but I don't know if I've told you guys, and
- 44:54Speaker 1: you guys probably didn't see. But I came out with
- 44:56Speaker 1: a third book that is now available on Amazon it's
- 45:00Speaker 1: right right in your wheelhouse. It's for ages five to eighteen,
- 45:04Speaker 1: so you should be able to read it. There are
- 45:06Speaker 1: some pictures and stuff, and it's called The Epic Beard
- 45:10Speaker 1: Ventures of mister Whiskerwitz twenty seven twenty eight pages, maybe
- 45:18Speaker 1: twenty nine.
- 45:18Speaker 2: I don't I think I can handle that. That's a
- 45:22Speaker 2: little little more reading than I usually do, but I
- 45:24Speaker 2: guess I could probably forget that I can do it.
- 45:26Speaker 1: But it was pretty cool too, because with the use
- 45:29Speaker 1: of I've obviously been getting a little better with art
- 45:32Speaker 1: and this and that, Like I didn't have to go
- 45:33Speaker 1: and pay someone to do all of the art. And
- 45:35Speaker 1: it wasn't a book that was featured around me, so
- 45:37Speaker 1: the character. So I ended up using a character, just
- 45:39Speaker 1: a very generic, just friendly little face with a big
- 45:43Speaker 1: white beard. And it's pretty cool. It's pretty much this
- 45:49Speaker 1: guy finds a beard here, finds a whole village inside
- 45:52Speaker 1: his beard one day when he was combing it, and
- 45:55Speaker 1: he decided somehow he was going to get in there.
- 45:57Speaker 1: He was going to check it out. And then the
- 45:59Speaker 1: villa in there was getting messed with by some beard bandits,
- 46:03Speaker 1: and his arch nemesis called Baldy mcshave so he's got
- 46:09Speaker 1: to deal with it. He's got to deal with it.
- 46:11Speaker 1: That sounds awesome, So if anybody does want to check
- 46:14Speaker 1: it out. Seven ninety nine. I figured that's a fair
- 46:16Speaker 1: price for a paperback kid's.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Book, right, Absolutely a lot.
- 46:19Speaker 1: If people have Kindle and you pay for the Kindle,
- 46:21Speaker 1: I think you can do it for free.
- 46:24Speaker 2: I purchase it. Here's probably fucking nine nineteen.
- 46:27Speaker 1: I was gonna say, depending where you are and what
- 46:29Speaker 1: app you use, it might be a little bit more.
- 46:32Speaker 1: One thing I want to complain, because we started with
- 46:33Speaker 1: the complaint that I want to just throw out there
- 46:35Speaker 1: is they just had Prime Day on Amazon, and it
- 46:37Speaker 1: really pisses me off because I put some items in
- 46:40Speaker 1: there and I don't know if you guys do this
- 46:41Speaker 1: or not. I put it in there, I take screenshots.
- 46:43Speaker 1: I'm like, this is the price of the shit. And
- 46:45Speaker 1: then they do the Prime Day and next thing you know,
- 46:47Speaker 1: it's like seventy five percent off and it's more expensive
- 46:51Speaker 1: than the normal day price. It really pisses me off
- 46:53Speaker 1: that all these companies and Amazon like they allow you
- 46:56Speaker 1: to do that jack up the price, but just put
- 46:58Speaker 1: a savings on it so it looks like it like
- 47:01Speaker 1: and they get so many people to do that. Even
- 47:03Speaker 1: the wife was like, oh, maybe we should take a
- 47:05Speaker 1: look at this automatic cat litter box. Normally it's seven
- 47:08Speaker 1: ninety nine. It's on sale for three ninety nine. I'm like, cool,
- 47:11Speaker 1: I have that same one in my cart and it's
- 47:12Speaker 1: actually like three twenty nine normally.
- 47:16Speaker 2: She's like what.
- 47:17Speaker 1: I'm like yeah, She's like, oh, well that's why you're smarter,
- 47:20Speaker 1: or something like yeah, I screenshot and save that one.
- 47:23Speaker 1: When you're pissed at me, remember I was right smarter
- 47:26Speaker 1: than you.
- 47:27Speaker 2: You're like that one's going on the fridge.
- 47:28Speaker 1: And that shit pisses me off.
- 47:30Speaker 3: Can I can I say something?
- 47:31Speaker 1: Absolutely?
- 47:32Speaker 3: I've been married for twelve years and I've been together
- 47:37Speaker 3: for more than fifteen. There has been several times where
- 47:42Speaker 3: I've been right, like like I had her dead to rights,
- 47:48Speaker 3: Like I'm right, you're wrong. We're in this moment together.
- 47:52Speaker 3: Now admit it and apologize. I have gotten one apology,
- 47:57Speaker 3: and it wasn't It wasn't a heartfelt apolog If you
- 48:00Speaker 3: I'll tell you that ever, that's marriage for you. Okay,
- 48:04Speaker 3: that's that you want to fight out, that's marriage.
- 48:08Speaker 2: What's frustrating is how confident you are whenever you know
- 48:11Speaker 2: you're right, I'm right, Like there's okay, they're right, challenge me,
- 48:14Speaker 2: go ahead, I know that I'm right, and then you
- 48:16Speaker 2: walk away after the the argument, and I'm like, how
- 48:21Speaker 2: is I wrong? What? I don't know what I did,
- 48:26Speaker 2: but somehow I guess I'm wrong, And she was ready
- 48:28Speaker 2: to get sun of a bitch like I thought for
- 48:30Speaker 2: sure I was right this time.
- 48:32Speaker 3: You can have screenshots, you can have receipts, you can
- 48:36Speaker 3: have whatever you like. They shed ones here and it's
- 48:40Speaker 3: game over.
- 48:41Speaker 1: It's bullshit. And not to get political, but I'm very
- 48:45Speaker 1: surprised at somehow a woman hasn't taken over this country
- 48:48Speaker 1: because the power that they have to most of us men,
- 48:51Speaker 1: it's unbelievable. And I'm not saying here that we should
- 48:54Speaker 1: we shouldn't, but it's just I've always thought that I'm like, man,
- 48:57Speaker 1: they have they have ways to make grown men, tough men,
- 49:02Speaker 1: Southern men, northern men, Western men. Doesn't matter that just
- 49:07Speaker 1: I mean, granted, there is a there is a whole
- 49:11Speaker 1: never mind anyways that they don't have a power on.
- 49:14Speaker 1: But either way, even the ones that don't even love women,
- 49:17Speaker 1: I guarantee of their moms still have a power over
- 49:19Speaker 1: them to make them apologize and humble them a little bit.
- 49:23Speaker 1: But there's no better way than we should probably get
- 49:26Speaker 1: out of here, so fellas, of course we record on Sundays.
- 49:29Speaker 1: That's why it's football heavy. Good luck to your teams,
- 49:32Speaker 1: and I really need Jacksonville again. At the time, the
- 49:36Speaker 1: recording starting to pull this off and it's not looking good.
- 49:39Speaker 1: So fuck you, Trevor Lawrence. You were the worst goddamn
- 49:41Speaker 1: pick that I've ever seen. You's boo boo, But either way,

- 49:50Speaker 1: we appreciate you as well. We'll be back next week.

- 49:54Speaker 1: you know, send any hugs or kisses to anybody's grandma?
- 49:58Speaker 2: Uh No, you know what, man with hand in pocket
- 50:03Speaker 2: feel cocky all day?
- 50:05Speaker 1: Well said, Speaking of that, goodbye, up tie, it's gonna
