• 3:13
news, despite rumors swirling about a wedding,
• 3:17
Taylor Swift did not marry and watch Hill, Rhode
• 3:20
Island on June 13th, but that did not stop dedicated
• 3:24
fans from showing up. Lisa King and her daughter,
• 3:28
Sierra, traveled from Bedford, New Hampshire,
• 3:30
hoping to catch a glimpse of the pop star near
• 3:33
the local lighthouse on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
• 3:36
The affluent seaside neighborhood, known for
• 3:39
its gilded H mansions and exclusive clubs, attracted
• 3:43
many Swifties, all eager for any sign of the
• 3:46
singer. Though no wedding took place, the atmosphere
• 3:49
buzzed with excitement as fans lingered, sharing
• 3:53
stories and enjoying the scenic views. Now on
• 4:01
to sports. Colombia made a winning return to
• 4:05
the World Cup. by defeating De Buven's Uzbekistan,
• 4:08
with former Liverpool forward Luis Diaz and Crystal
• 4:12
Palace defender Daniel Muniz among the goalscorers.
• 4:16
Muniz scored the first goal with a superb volley
• 4:18
when he connected with a fine pass from Diaz,
• 4:21
who had earlier hit the post. Uzbekistan equalised
• 4:26
in the 60th minute through Abosbek Fazili's header.
• 4:31
Diaz quickly regained the lead with a strike
• 4:33
that went in despite Utker Yusupov's efforts.
• 4:37
Colombia's Jaminton Campas headed in a third
• 4:40
goal late on, securing the victory. Diaz's goal
• 4:44
marked his first in a World Cup after an excellent
• 4:47
season at Bayern Munich. In local sports, the
• 4:51
Red Sox face a must -win situation this afternoon
• 4:55
at 1 .35 against Toronto at Fenway. Down two
• 5:00
games to none in this series, Boston's offense
• 5:03
has been completely silenced. Just one run in
• 5:06
two games. Sonny Gray takes the mound looking
• 5:10
to deliver the quality start the Sox desperately
• 5:13
need. Yesterday's shutout loss was brutal. Jake
• 5:18
Bennett couldn't hold the line, and the lineup
• 5:20
managed just five hits. William Abreu had two
• 5:25
of them. but that wasn't nearly enough against
• 5:28
the Blue Jays' dominant pitching. Boston sits
• 5:31
at 29 -42 on the season and is riding a three
• 5:35
-game losing streak. This is about stopping the
• 5:39
bleeding and salvaging the homestand. Meanwhile,
• 5:42
there's contract drama brewing across the river
• 5:45
with the Patriots. Second -round pick Gabe Jackas
• 5:49
remains the only unsigned second -round pick
• 5:53
in the entire NFL. holding out while the team
• 5:56
seeks financial protection following his off
• 5:59
-season knee procedure. Jackas has been training
• 6:02
with former Colts linebacker Marcus Howard, but
• 6:06
missing spring classroom time could affect his
• 6:08
development. The team isn't frustrated with him,
• 6:11
yet though the situation isn't ideal as training
• 6:14
camp approaches, he should be ready to go come
• 6:18
fall. In top news. The United States Department
• 6:23
of Agriculture, USDA, says that 700 ,000 individuals
• 6:28
were removed from the Supplemental Nutrition
• 6:30
Assistance Program SNAP. This follows a crackdown
• 6:34
on alleged food stamp benefit fraud by the Trump
• 6:37
administration. Last week, the USDA and officials
• 6:42
in Ohio announced a takedown of fraudulent SNAP
• 6:45
retailers, issuing violation notices to 19 businesses.
• 6:50
Despite studies showing that snap fraud is rare,
• 6:53
Republican Senator Rick Scott introduced the
• 6:56
Snap Fraud Reporting Act on June 10th. The bill
• 7:00
would require states to submit comprehensive
• 7:02
fraud data. Senator Scott emphasized the need
• 7:06
to create a pathway to identify fraud to protect
• 7:09
taxpayers. In business news, the Securities and
• 7:15
Exchange Commission is generally regarded as
• 7:17
one of the smartest. toughest agencies in Washington.
• 7:21
However, tough enforcement is not a hallmark
• 7:24
of the Trump administration, which has substantially
• 7:27
cut the SEC's budget and staffing. As a result,
• 7:32
the SEC is bringing fewer enforcement actions.
• 7:35
In fiscal year 2025, the SEC filed 30 % fewer
• 7:40
standalone enforcement actions than in fiscal
• 7:43
year 2024 and stopped bringing certain types
• 7:46
of enforcement cases. such as those under the
• 7:49
Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. At the end of
• 7:52
May, the three SEC commissioners took away enforcement
• 7:56
powers the agency has held for more than 50 years.

• 9:17
CEO David Holes recently unveiled the MidJourney
• 9:21
scanner, an ultrasound -based device capturing
• 9:23
detailed images of muscle, fat, bone, and organs.
• 9:28
He envisions this tool being used for annual
• 9:30
or even daily scans, aiming for image quality
• 9:34
comparable to MRI. Developed with Butterfly Network,
• 9:38
the scanner utilizes 40 butterfly ultrasound
• 9:42
-on chip imaging modules. In one minute, users
• 9:46
step into a pool of light and descend through
• 9:48
sensors creating detailed 3D images. Hulse plans
• 9:53
to open a mid -journey spa in San Francisco,
• 9:56
California by the end of 2027, featuring various

wellness amenities. And in entertainment news.
• 10:07
Bowen Yang's departure from Saturday Night Live
• 10:09
could have marked another chapter in the show's
• 10:12
long history of cast changes. However, the circumstances
• 10:16
surrounding his exit revealed the reason the
• 10:19
institution has survived for more than 50 years.
• 10:23
After seven seasons, Yang prepared to leave following
• 10:26
season 50. In his mind, Saturday Night Live was
• 10:30
in a great place without him. Then Lorne Michaels
• 10:34
called. asking Yang to remain for part of Season
• 10:37
51 and help guide new talent. This moment highlights
• 10:41
how the show's longevity relies on each generation
• 10:44
passing knowledge to the next. Yang's request
• 10:48
transformed his final season into a mentoring
• 10:50
role, emphasizing the importance of institutional
• 10:53
memory. Well, all righty, folks. It's time for
• 10:58
the quote of the day. And today... Our quote
• 11:02
comes from the American author and humorist James
• 11:05
Thurber. And he said, Humor is emotional chaos
• 11:09
remembered in tranquility. And that's a wrap
