- 0:00Speaker 1: So we're creeping in on Halloween here in Nino Del Rio.
- 0:02Speaker 1: It is Tuesday, October 6th.
- 0:04Speaker 2: We're counting down, and apparently sexy costumes are out.
- 0:09Speaker 3: That's the number one costume people have seen enough of,
- 0:12Speaker 3: the sexy one. You know why people do the sexy one?
- 0:14Speaker 3: Because you have no idea what you're going to wear,
- 0:15Speaker 3: and you can look in your closet and you go, oh,
- 0:17Speaker 3: I could wear a bustier and maybe a short skirt,
- 0:19Speaker 3: and that'll do.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Well, there's some people that are going to miss that.
- 0:23Speaker 2: But yeah, 2,000 Americans were in a survey and they
- 0:27Speaker 2: found that if they are going to dress up, people
- 0:30Speaker 2: are saying they're over the sexy version of anything, really.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Some people do a sexy version of I don't know,
- 0:36Speaker 2: a radio person or a sexy person.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Of themselves, really, right? Or a cat. Yeah, they put
- 0:41Speaker 3: a nose on and a tail and then a bra.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Right.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:44Speaker 1: There you go.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Done.
- 0:45Speaker 1: It's easy, I guess.
- 0:45Speaker 3: It is easy.
- 0:46Speaker 1: And what else are people over when it comes to costumes?
- 0:49Speaker 3: People are tired of the pirate.
- 0:51Speaker 1: That's number two.
- 0:51Speaker 3: That's always a guy and a pirate.
- 0:53Speaker 1: That's always the easy ones, I feel like. The people
- 0:55Speaker 1: are over.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Because you don't have to think about it, right? A Joker.
- 0:57Speaker 3: The Joker.
- 0:58Speaker 1: The Joker.
- 0:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Wait, hang on. On the Joker, I still think that's
- 1:02Speaker 1: a lot of work, though.
- 1:03Speaker 3: That's the face makeup.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Yeah, you have to look like the Joker, but people apparently.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Are over it. Cowboy and cowgirl. Okay. That one I
- 1:10Speaker 3: can pull off without even thinking, right? You just got
- 1:12Speaker 3: boots in your closet. That's why people do it.
- 1:13Speaker 1: You lived in Texas. So did I.
- 1:15Speaker 3: I have boots. Harley Quinn, people are over.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I don't know who that is.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Wasn't that Miley Cyrus? Harley Quinn? No. Somebody, it's a
- 1:24Speaker 3: thing that people are over, so don't worry.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Yeah, just forget it. It doesn't matter. People are over.
- 1:28Speaker 3: We don't have to worry about it at all. The hippie,
- 1:31Speaker 3: the minion, Thing 1 and Thing 2. I like Thing
- 1:34Speaker 3: 1 and Thing 2, actually.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Yeah, but I see it all the time, even not Halloween,
- 1:38Speaker 2: especially if you're good at Disney.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:40Speaker 1: I see everyone walking around with Thing 1, Thing 2, right?
- 1:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Don't you? At Disney? What is it, Universal? It's more Universal,
- 1:48Speaker 1: Thing 1, Thing 2?
- 1:50Speaker 2: Oh, thank you for correcting me. I feel like I've
- 1:52Speaker 2: seen it in parks, people walking around in theme parks.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Maybe it's universal that I see thing one, thing two.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Oh, maybe. You know what's not on this list is ghosts, right? Like,
- 2:00Speaker 3: haven't we, does anybody still do like just a sheet
- 2:03Speaker 3: with the eyes and all that, like the old, old,
- 2:05Speaker 3: old school?
- 2:06Speaker 1: It's not 1927 anymore. That'd be a pain in the butt.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Well, you lose your sheet, right? And then you got
- 2:13Speaker 3: a hole in your sheets. Right.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Yeah. And then, did you say mime? Mime's on there.
- 2:17Speaker 3: I didn't say mime, but.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Number 10 on the list of costumes people are over.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Or Where's Waldo. Where's Waldo is number nine.
- 2:24Speaker 3: But you've got to buy that shirt.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Mime is 10.
- 2:26Speaker 3: I have a banana costume that I kind of wear
- 2:28Speaker 3: all the time because I bought it. And now I
- 2:30Speaker 3: feel tired, but it's also right there. I'm just a banana.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Would that be your go-to?
- 2:34Speaker 2: If you were invited to a party and you couldn't
- 2:37Speaker 2: say no, it was a Halloween party, you have to
- 2:39Speaker 2: dress up, what would you pull out of your closet?
- 2:41Speaker 3: It depends on who's hosting it. But if they have
- 2:43Speaker 3: children around, probably the banana because it's safe and funny.
- 2:46Speaker 3: It's a little amusing.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Right.
- 2:47Speaker 3: I'd rather be amusing than scary with kids, right? Wouldn't you?
- 2:51Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. It depends. I mean, if you're going with
- 2:52Speaker 1: an adult party.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:54Speaker 1: But if you're trick-or-treating with kids, you.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Want to be fun. Oh, then it's sexy all the way, adults.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Well, yeah, there you go. 44363, want to hear from you.
- 3:00Speaker 1: What costume are you kind of tired of seeing when
- 3:03Speaker 1: you go to Halloween parties?
