- 0:08Speaker 1: Hey, my loves It is Lala Kent with rand I
- 0:12Speaker 1: love it. We're back at it for another week. Last
- 0:15Speaker 1: week we had such a fun podcast with the Bostics,
- 0:20Speaker 1: the Skinny Confidential.
- 0:22Speaker 2: I had no idea who they were. I've heard of
- 0:24Speaker 2: The Skinny Confidential, but I didn't know, like it was
- 0:26Speaker 2: one person, two people, husband and wife team. Like that
- 0:29Speaker 2: was so cool, so inspiring.
- 0:31Speaker 1: So we've had like a pretty fun week. Randall just
- 0:34Speaker 1: got back from Miami how to Go.
- 0:38Speaker 2: I found a new condo for us. I'm very excited.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I think it'll be in the Armani building. Shout out
- 0:45Speaker 2: to Harmani.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Oh lovely.
- 0:46Speaker 1: I can't wait for people to know and just say
- 0:51Speaker 1: Randall loves to just blast us. Oh my god, why
- 0:54Speaker 1: didn't you give them the exact actuals? Maybe give them
- 0:56Speaker 1: the apartment number?
- 0:57Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 0:58Speaker 2: So I went through and it got us the com
- 1:00Speaker 2: right signing the least. But what I'm more excited about
- 1:03Speaker 2: is today in twenty four hours. Yes, it's your motherfucking birthday.
- 1:10Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:10Speaker 2: I'm happy birthday to you. Have birthday to you, have birthday,
- 1:15Speaker 2: dear La La, I have birthday to you.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Early thirty one years old.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I feel like it was just yesterday that I had
- 1:21Speaker 1: turned twenty one and I was passed out in downtown
- 1:23Speaker 1: Salt Lake City on my spiked bracelet and a cop
- 1:27Speaker 1: came up to me and was like, you gotta go, girl,
- 1:29Speaker 1: and I was like, I did turn twenty one.
- 1:32Speaker 3: And I was like, that's great, gotta go. So let's
- 1:36Speaker 3: talk about crazy, but.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Let's talk about how different this birthday is. Okay, now
- 1:39Speaker 2: you have a child, which is like even crazier. And
- 1:43Speaker 2: so now we're going to Miami for your birthday, which.
- 1:47Speaker 3: We like Miami. Can you tell.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Shout out to Miami?
- 1:52Speaker 1: No?
- 1:52Speaker 2: But but what I'm saying is we're going on this
- 1:54Speaker 2: trip with Jackson, Brittany.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Yes, and their baby and my usbands.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Yes, and we're having this like great little weekend. And
- 2:01Speaker 2: what's cool about it is we're bringing ocean. So if
- 2:05Speaker 2: you rewind the tape the last two three years, I'll
- 2:08Speaker 2: go through it. Yeah, we had a birthday in Cabo,
- 2:11Speaker 2: which was insane. Thirty forty people.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Right.
- 2:14Speaker 2: We've had birthdays in Vegas after we got engaged, we
- 2:18Speaker 2: celebrated birthday in Vegas with all your friends. Insane. We've
- 2:22Speaker 2: had birthdays in La insane. This is like the first
- 2:25Speaker 2: kind of family birthday. So I'm really excited.
- 2:29Speaker 3: So can we talk about this real quick.
- 2:33Speaker 1: It was a year ago on this day that we
- 2:36Speaker 1: announced we were pregnant. What Yeah, last year on my birthday,
- 2:42Speaker 1: I said, I got the greatest gift.
- 2:43Speaker 3: In the world.
- 2:44Speaker 2: O MG, go ocean.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Like now this podcast, we're listening to her right now.
- 2:55Speaker 1: She could be cooping, but I think she might be crying.
- 2:58Speaker 3: But don't worry. I think she's well.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Taking Oh you mean you just didn't leave her in
- 3:01Speaker 2: the room.
- 3:02Speaker 3: No, she was well taking care of while mom and
- 3:04Speaker 3: dad do the podcast.
- 3:05Speaker 1: By the way, can I tell you something that I
- 3:07Speaker 1: just realized, I, for pretty much my whole life, thought
- 3:12Speaker 1: that the word infamous meant that you were super famous.
- 3:17Speaker 1: I didn't realize that infamous meant that you were famous
- 3:20Speaker 1: for something bad.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Okay, that's scary.
- 3:22Speaker 1: No, it's terrifying because I remember say, you're infamous, Well,
- 3:26Speaker 1: I am infamous, that's true. But when we did the
- 3:31Speaker 1: podcast with Sly, I literally said the infamous Sylvester Stallone
- 3:37Speaker 1: because I thought it meant like, if you were infamous,
- 3:39Speaker 1: you were like a legend.
- 3:40Speaker 2: No, he's he's just famous as fuck.
- 3:43Speaker 1: So now I know, okay, because I had heard it
- 3:46Speaker 1: in like rap songs and I thought that they were
- 3:49Speaker 1: talking about like they were just like the most famous
- 3:51Speaker 1: people ever.
- 3:52Speaker 3: And I was like, fuck, yeah infamous.
- 3:55Speaker 1: You know.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Yeah. No, I'm glad you figured that out today at
- 3:58Speaker 2: thirty one. That's good. I just want to say that
- 4:04Speaker 2: a lot of big news with Ocean this week. I
- 4:06Speaker 2: think that I was, you know, it's moving so quickly now,
- 4:09Speaker 2: like at first it was like Google Gaga, but now
- 4:11Speaker 2: it's like things are happening right. Like I was sitting
- 4:14Speaker 2: in the kitchen the other day feeding her real food,
- 4:16Speaker 2: and like just two weeks ago she was sucking on
- 4:19Speaker 2: your tips. So no, and not only that, I came
- 4:24Speaker 2: home from Warwick, which you know, I you know, it's
- 4:28Speaker 2: like it's just weird because you know, in this house
- 4:31Speaker 2: there have been no infants, right, so this is the
- 4:34Speaker 2: first infant in this house and we're sitting there. I
- 4:37Speaker 2: walk in the door and I go to have dinner
- 4:40Speaker 2: with you, and all of a sudden, at the head
- 4:42Speaker 2: of the table there's a little baby chair and Ocean's
- 4:45Speaker 2: sitting there. I'm like, head of a house, What the
- 4:48Speaker 2: fuck just happened? She was like laying in the thing
- 4:51Speaker 2: sucking on the breast and now I'm eating my pork
- 4:55Speaker 2: chop and Ocean's eating her hard food. And I'm like this,
- 5:00Speaker 2: this is crazy, I mean literally, And you always preach
- 5:03Speaker 2: us about you know, I'm just going off a little bit,
- 5:06Speaker 2: but you always preach about how like you know, you
- 5:08Speaker 2: really want every second, don't And really I'm seeing because,
- 5:13Speaker 2: like I'm talking it seven days ago, she wasn't sitting
- 5:16Speaker 2: at the head of the table. She was in her
- 5:17Speaker 2: little ah you know, so it's moving so quickly. Now.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I know Ocean officially is eating purees like nanas and
- 5:30Speaker 1: rice cereal.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Right, but I mean it's like it just happens.
- 5:33Speaker 3: I know, I'm seeing what the fuck this is.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I literally lay in bed some nights and inflict pain,
- 5:41Speaker 1: mental pain on myself by going back to the time
- 5:45Speaker 1: that she was like you and.
- 5:47Speaker 3: I walking into labor and delivery. Yeah, and it's like, well,
- 5:51Speaker 3: she wasn't.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Here yet, No, I mean, you're just going back to
- 5:54Speaker 2: that moment.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I go back to the time when people ask me
- 5:56Speaker 1: an interview is like where'd you come up with the name?
- 5:58Speaker 1: And I'm like, we came up with the name three
- 5:59Speaker 1: years ago. She exists now she's in the other freaking
- 6:03Speaker 1: room right now, party partying.
- 6:06Speaker 2: I listen. I used to kind of make fun of
- 6:10Speaker 2: you a little bit, to be honest, because I thought,
- 6:13Speaker 2: you know, like you were holding on to time a
- 6:15Speaker 2: little too tight. It was like the first week. But
- 6:19Speaker 2: I think you kind of set the bar for us
- 6:23Speaker 2: to kind of say it is going to go quick,
- 6:26Speaker 2: because you know, time does go quick, obviously. I mean
- 6:30Speaker 2: I see it with the two girls, and you've said it,
- 6:32Speaker 2: but infant time right, it's lightning speed. It's good that
- 6:37Speaker 2: you've said this to me so that I try to
- 6:40Speaker 2: cherish the little things because because in three more months,
- 6:45Speaker 2: I'm you know, she's gonna be walking around chilling. So
- 6:48Speaker 2: I want to enjoy the fact that she can't go
- 6:50Speaker 2: anywhere right now.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I enjoy it because a blink of an eye and
- 6:54Speaker 1: she's going to be off to the races and I
- 6:57Speaker 1: will lose my mind, because I lose my mind daily.
- 6:59Speaker 2: But yeah, on that note, I want to take a break.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Let's take a break.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I love the fact and I'm sure every mom loves
- 7:10Speaker 1: this that like their baby knows that you're the mama.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Like there was last week, Randall and I are in
- 7:20Speaker 1: our bedroom after a night of dinner, right whatever, And
- 7:24Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my god, my gland on the left
- 7:26Speaker 1: side feels a little swollen. And for thirty minutes, Randall
- 7:29Speaker 1: is telling me, oh my gosh, you have COVID. What
- 7:32Speaker 1: else do you feel? Do you have body aches? Do
- 7:34Speaker 1: you have chills? Are you coffee? Hold of fever?
- 7:37Speaker 3: And I was like, I don't have any of those.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Hold a seconds. I was concerned because COVID is real
- 7:43Speaker 2: right now.
- 7:44Speaker 3: And the lot COVID has not been real.
- 7:46Speaker 2: No, I know, but I'm saying, it's it's funny right.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Now, rampant and a different variant and right.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Thank you for the I get what you mean, right,
- 7:54Speaker 2: And I'm saying, so we have to be extra cautious.
- 7:56Speaker 2: We have a lot of people, you know that that
- 7:58Speaker 2: are helping out in.
- 8:00Speaker 3: The right right, We're right. So I was totally.
- 8:02Speaker 2: I was concerned.
- 8:03Speaker 3: I get it. And you said, as you should be,
- 8:05Speaker 3: And you.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Said to me, I said, babe, here's what I think.
- 8:07Speaker 2: I think I should go down and sleep in the
- 8:09Speaker 2: other room and we'll wait till the morning and we'll
- 8:12Speaker 2: get you tested in the morning, just for safety. Even
- 8:14Speaker 2: though I know you're not out or about, but you could.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm definitely not out in about.
- 8:19Speaker 2: But you could catch it anywhere.
- 8:20Speaker 1: It doesn't Oh, of course, it really doesn't matter. But
- 8:22Speaker 1: the point of this is I go to bed and
- 8:26Speaker 1: all of the sudden I wake up it right because
- 8:28Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't have it, Like my gland is swollen,
- 8:30Speaker 1: but nothing else is wrong. But the questioning for thirty
- 8:34Speaker 1: minutes with Randall. For some reason, I wake up at
- 8:36Speaker 1: three in the morning and I'm like, oh my god, I.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Do have body aches. I do have body chills.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Keep in mind, due to the line of work that
- 8:44Speaker 1: I am in that you're in, I am tested every
- 8:46Speaker 1: seventy two hours on the dot, same time, every seventy
- 8:51Speaker 1: two hours.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Right, but you oke me up at four am until.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Me and I told you I need you to go
- 8:54Speaker 3: in the other room. I'm concerned now too.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Okay, So now so I call the doctor at four am.
- 8:59Speaker 3: Right, doctor comes, Doctor number one comes. I get the
- 9:02Speaker 3: test back. It's negative.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Second test comes back. That's negative too. So I did
- 9:07Speaker 1: not have COVID.
- 9:08Speaker 3: It's thank goodness.
- 9:10Speaker 1: But the point of this is number one, the mind
- 9:12Speaker 1: is a powerful thing. I literally talked myself into every
- 9:15Speaker 1: symptom of COVID. I'm not even kidding you. I don't
- 9:18Speaker 1: because once they came back negative, I was like, I
- 9:20Speaker 1: feel great, you would have gone to work today.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you were like a different person, right sure.
- 9:26Speaker 1: But the hardest part was that I obviously wasn't. It
- 9:32Speaker 1: was the first morning that I didn't get to see
- 9:34Speaker 1: my kid. You know, I usually every morning I wake
- 9:37Speaker 1: up to my baby, and you facetimed me with her.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I was sobbing and she was very fussy that morning,
- 9:45Speaker 1: like crying, and every time she heard my voice she
- 9:48Speaker 1: would scream, and I just thought, you know, she's teething,
- 9:50Speaker 1: she's going through a rough patch. When I got my
- 9:53Speaker 1: second negative COVID test and I held my baby, she
- 9:56Speaker 1: completely calmed down, and I was like, she no, like
- 9:59Speaker 1: she finds comfort and her mama. Of course, I know,
- 10:02Speaker 1: but you when you're just with your first kid and
- 10:04Speaker 1: you don't realize, you know.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, I mean I get yeah, but I
- 10:07Speaker 2: mean I just I mean you could see when you
- 10:09Speaker 2: walk in the room how lit up she is, and
- 10:11Speaker 2: how lit up she is when I walk in the room.
- 10:13Speaker 2: She loves her mom and dad, very different than when
- 10:16Speaker 2: like family's around. Like I noticed that like when her grandma.
- 10:20Speaker 2: And this is not taking away from anywhere or our nanny.
- 10:22Speaker 2: There's a lot of love. She's happy, she feels warm
- 10:25Speaker 2: and saying yeah, but there's like a sparkle, like like
- 10:27Speaker 2: when I came home yesterday, I could see she just
- 10:30Speaker 2: wants to stare at me.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Well, when you were gone and you would FaceTime me
- 10:34Speaker 1: or even talk on the phone, she was dead stare
- 10:37Speaker 1: at that phone really yeah, like she knew your voice.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Yeah, it's so cute.
- 10:41Speaker 2: And I think and the same like when when you
- 10:43Speaker 2: were not able to be with her for the time,
- 10:46Speaker 2: we were being safe and I facetimed you. You know,
- 10:49Speaker 2: she was in it, you know what I mean, Like
- 10:50Speaker 2: I just I listen to a mother and a father
- 10:52Speaker 2: of is just that's just a bond that nobody can
- 10:56Speaker 2: come between.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I know, And I just keep realizing it more and
- 10:58Speaker 1: more every day. How how much comfort she finds in
- 11:01Speaker 1: her parents.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Well, I think I think you're going to be even
- 11:04Speaker 2: shocked in face two and she's like talking to you
- 11:07Speaker 2: and like fall out. You know.
- 11:08Speaker 1: I always say I can't wait for that. I can
- 11:11Speaker 1: definitely wait for that, but I'm excited for that stage.
- 11:14Speaker 3: I'm excited for all of the stages.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Well, I think I think if anybody and I have
- 11:19Speaker 2: a lot of friends, a lot of friends with kids,
- 11:21Speaker 2: you know, old, young, all types of things. I'm older
- 11:25Speaker 2: than you, and one thing I would say is one
- 11:28Speaker 2: thing that you're doing beyond right is you're living in
- 11:31Speaker 2: the moment, every moment of our baby's life. And I
- 11:34Speaker 2: think I'm not discrediting my friends because a lot of
- 11:37Speaker 2: them do this too. But but you don't know how
- 11:40Speaker 2: in the moment people are because you don't go home
- 11:41Speaker 2: with them at night. But you every second you're making counts.
- 11:45Speaker 2: So I don't think you're leaving it all on the table.
- 11:47Speaker 2: I think when Ocean's a year or two years or
- 11:50Speaker 2: three years, I don't think you're going to have any
- 11:53Speaker 2: thing that you didn't do in terms of time and
- 11:57Speaker 2: love and being in the moment. I'm very proud of
- 11:59Speaker 2: you that you do that.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Well, thank you for saying that. So the my birthday
- 12:03Speaker 1: palette that I've been working very hard.
- 12:05Speaker 2: On, we're plugging.
- 12:06Speaker 1: We're of course we're plugging. It's my freaking podcast with Randall,
- 12:10Speaker 1: so yeah, I'm plugging.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Give them Lala Beauty.
- 12:12Speaker 1: We did give them Lala Beauty. Shoot for the birthday palate. Yes,
- 12:16Speaker 1: and it was absolutely fantastic. Ocean came to work with me.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Oh wow.
- 12:20Speaker 3: It was the first day that she's.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I mean, she's she's filmed, but at that stage, and
- 12:26Speaker 1: she was, you know, sleeping most of the time.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Now she's like a full person.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Yeah, and she.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Was so cute.
- 12:34Speaker 2: She was having fun.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean she got a little irritated after a while,
- 12:37Speaker 1: because like a baby on a photo shoot for like
- 12:39Speaker 1: five hours is like, all right, we're enough already, you know,
- 12:42Speaker 1: like the music, the flashing nights, I'm over it.
- 12:45Speaker 2: But you were just happy that you had your baby
- 12:47Speaker 2: with you versus s her sitting at home.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Well, I hope that I can do that for a
- 12:50Speaker 1: long time. Like I hope that whenever I go and
- 12:53Speaker 1: do things like that, is she gets older that she comes.
- 12:55Speaker 1: That was always my number one thing. And you know
- 12:57Speaker 1: this because obviously I work, you work. We have to
- 12:59Speaker 1: have childcare, so we have a phenomenal nanny that's there
- 13:03Speaker 1: when you and I have to go to work. But
- 13:05Speaker 1: my game plan has always been if she can come
- 13:09Speaker 1: with me, you're gonna take I'm gonna take her, and
- 13:11Speaker 1: then when I need to hand her off to actually
- 13:13Speaker 1: go do what I need to do, then that's what
- 13:15Speaker 1: I'll do.
- 13:16Speaker 2: I love it.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Do you think people get sick of us talking about babies?
- 13:19Speaker 1: Probably you think, Yeah, I don't know.
- 13:22Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 13:23Speaker 3: I don't even have an identity except for ocean.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Okay, that's a little extreme, but I liked.
- 13:28Speaker 1: A lot of mom Like I was talking to Stossy
- 13:30Speaker 1: and she was like that, she's my identity, Like I'm
- 13:32Speaker 1: who am I I'm Harford's mom?
- 13:34Speaker 3: Duh?
- 13:35Speaker 2: Do you know what time it is?
- 13:36Speaker 1: So?
- 13:36Speaker 3: What time is it?
- 13:37Speaker 2: Spill the tea segment where we go deep, we take
- 13:42Speaker 2: our teapots out, we spill the tea.
- 13:45Speaker 1: With La la, Let's spill the piping hot English breakfast.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Right now, I.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Would like to do a let's spill the tea round up? Okay,
- 13:55Speaker 2: what happened between you and that housewife and the sea?
- 14:00Speaker 1: You know? I give Kelly Dodd a lot of credit
- 14:02Speaker 1: because she is not as predictable as I thought she was.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Wow, what happened? Sure? Oh?
- 14:07Speaker 3: It just did anything happen? Jess?
- 14:10Speaker 2: See, there we go, So that tea is that tea
- 14:12Speaker 2: is spilled. It's now cold and we can move on.
- 14:15Speaker 1: The beef has been consumed it doesn't exist anymore.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Well, there you have it, guys, on spill the tea.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Who knows?
- 14:22Speaker 1: She just she She announced a couple of weeks ago,
- 14:25Speaker 1: maybe a month ago, that she and her man are
- 14:27Speaker 1: coming out with the podcast, so that could be where
- 14:30Speaker 1: her platform to like get people to listen.
- 14:34Speaker 2: You know, Oh you mean you think the tea could
- 14:36Speaker 2: be picked up off the floor put back in the part?
- 14:38Speaker 3: You could go back, she could go back to every.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Good you reheat the tea.
- 14:42Speaker 3: I'm asking you can always reheat tea.
- 14:44Speaker 2: You can even when it's spilled on the floor, because
- 14:48Speaker 2: that tea seems like it's already evaporated.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Maybe, I don't know.
- 14:52Speaker 2: We'll see. Well, let's wish you know what, I'd like
- 14:55Speaker 2: to wish her good luck on her podcast.
- 14:58Speaker 3: I wish everyone nothing but luck on their podcast.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Okay, now we can go to a break.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Okay, we're back. Guess what I'm doing after this?
- 15:11Speaker 2: What are you doing?
- 15:12Speaker 1: I Am going to a mommy's lunch with Brittany Stasi
- 15:19Speaker 1: Shina Summer Moon Cruisy in Hartford, Me and ocean.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Wow.
- 15:25Speaker 3: I know, wow.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Wow.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Is the first time that we will all be together.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Four moms, yes, four babies. Yeah, in the same restaurant.
- 15:35Speaker 1: And we were all texting and we're like, Okay, we
- 15:37Speaker 1: want to go to the grove, right, but the place
- 15:40Speaker 1: we used to go to, we're now going to.
- 15:42Speaker 3: Have four strollers, not going to work probably.
- 15:45Speaker 1: So we're like, I guess we do the Farmer's market
- 15:47Speaker 1: because you can there's like much more room, the babies
- 15:50Speaker 1: can cry if they need, you know, like all of
- 15:53Speaker 1: these things that we used to think about. Can I
- 15:54Speaker 1: tell you it's still a shock to me. Yeah, like
- 15:57Speaker 1: being a mom because I was stuck seeing with my friend.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Her name's Danny. We grew up in Utah together. She's
- 16:03Speaker 3: in New York.
- 16:04Speaker 1: I'm in LA and we're like constantly trying to get together,
- 16:07Speaker 1: constantly trying to plan trips. And now I'm like we
- 16:10Speaker 1: finally have been, like this is the date we're going.
- 16:13Speaker 1: And then I'm like, wait a minute, I have a kid.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Let me sort this out first. And then it's like
- 16:21Speaker 1: I don't want to leave her.
- 16:22Speaker 2: No, oh, you would take her with you. You're not
- 16:23Speaker 2: leaving her anywhere.
- 16:24Speaker 1: My mother left me I think I was I think
- 16:27Speaker 1: I was like maybe six weeks old. She left me
- 16:30Speaker 1: for like two weeks. It was supposed to be for
- 16:33Speaker 1: a week, and she extended her vacation.
- 16:34Speaker 3: You're joking, I swear to God. Okay, well, Lisa, and
- 16:38Speaker 3: I love my mom.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Nobody said you didn't love you.
- 16:40Speaker 1: No, I no, but it's just crazy like my mom
- 16:42Speaker 1: because I would feel guilty. I'm like, you don't feel guilty.
- 16:45Speaker 1: She goes, do you remember it? You know?
- 16:48Speaker 3: She was like, no, I don't feel guilty.
- 16:49Speaker 1: You know.
- 16:50Speaker 2: But we talked about that, like when you have to work,
- 16:52Speaker 2: like there are going to be times like where you're
- 16:54Speaker 2: gonna have to go on a work trip for two
- 16:55Speaker 2: or three days because you're a boss, and that happens.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you, But two weeks is strong. She extended
- 17:01Speaker 1: another week to make it two weeks.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Was she working?
- 17:04Speaker 3: What do you think, Randall the vacation. I think she
- 17:07Speaker 3: went to Hawaii or something.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Oh so the ocean.
- 17:10Speaker 3: She was living her buzz life.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Wow. Yeah, okay, I love your mom, So I'm gonna
- 17:15Speaker 2: step out of this one.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Okay.
- 17:16Speaker 1: So speaking of leaving your kid behind, Sheena and I
- 17:20Speaker 1: were tripping because we were gonna do Bravocan and we
- 17:23Speaker 1: were constantly in contact, like what do we do with
- 17:25Speaker 1: the breast milk?
- 17:26Speaker 3: How do because that is like liquid gold. How do
- 17:28Speaker 3: we get it back to la By then it.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Would have been no breast. You would have been done
- 17:31Speaker 2: with that part of it.
- 17:32Speaker 3: I want to breastfeed for a year.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Listen, it's your decision. And if you want a breast years,
- 17:38Speaker 2: you can breastmant.
- 17:38Speaker 3: For of course.
- 17:39Speaker 1: And by the way, Ocean only gets on the boob
- 17:42Speaker 1: twice a day now and for a very morning and
- 17:45Speaker 1: right before bed and very short time. Right otherwise she
- 17:48Speaker 1: has the food and she has the bottle. But Sena
- 17:51Speaker 1: and I were worried. We're like, we're leaving our babies
- 17:54Speaker 1: for four days. So for us, it was bittersweet that
- 17:57Speaker 1: bravocn was canceled. We wanted to go because who doesn't
- 18:00Speaker 1: want to go to Bravocon. They treat us like we're
- 18:01Speaker 1: the Beatles. That that's like the place that we're like
- 18:04Speaker 1: the most famous, and that's fucking fun.
- 18:06Speaker 3: That's fun to me, all right. I like that. I
- 18:09Speaker 3: like being like the Beatles.
- 18:11Speaker 2: But you know, you can just go to top Timers,
- 18:13Speaker 2: sir and have the same experience.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Been there, done that. I wanted to be in New
- 18:16Speaker 1: York at Bravocon. But then the sweet part was like,
- 18:20Speaker 1: oh we don't have to worry about leaving our babies behind.
- 18:23Speaker 3: So it all worked out.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Right and you and you don't have to go away
- 18:25Speaker 2: and be stressed.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Yeah, So that that's what I'm doing today.
- 18:29Speaker 2: I think that's going to be a great date for you.
- 18:31Speaker 2: I think the four ladies with their babies, lunching it, power,
- 18:36Speaker 2: launching it, talking about what mothers talk about with their
- 18:41Speaker 2: babies and all your different kind of stories are going
- 18:43Speaker 2: to be a lot of fun.
- 18:44Speaker 3: I think I think it will be too.
- 18:46Speaker 2: I know it's a great bonding experience for you guys.
- 18:48Speaker 1: I know.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Can you believe we've never done it.
- 18:50Speaker 2: It's crazy we've all.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Hung out individually.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Sure, you send me a picture.
- 18:53Speaker 1: I'll send you a picture it so I want to
- 18:56Speaker 1: talk about mom. Bod's real quick and I know what
- 18:59Speaker 1: you're going to say.
- 19:00Speaker 2: That you're hot? What are you talking about?
- 19:03Speaker 1: And everyone's bounced back looks very different. But I was
- 19:05Speaker 1: at Zara the other day trying on clothes and can
- 19:08Speaker 1: I tell you this is the first time in my
- 19:09Speaker 1: whole life that I've actually had to try clothes on.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I'm usually pretty true to size, can fill my cart up.
- 19:14Speaker 1: For the most part, everything works out. I can't do
- 19:18Speaker 1: that anymore, just because things are different. Parts of my
- 19:21Speaker 1: body are a little bigger than they used to be,
- 19:23Speaker 1: like hips, my ribcage is strange.
- 19:26Speaker 3: I got it.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I created a person. My bounce back was on point.
- 19:29Speaker 1: I'm not complaining.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Okay, However, what happened.
- 19:33Speaker 3: The lighting in the Zara.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Dressing room did not work for you.
- 19:38Speaker 1: I looked and my skinny ass legs that had cellulite
- 19:42Speaker 1: on them.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Okay, stop, I'm stopping this. You do not have cellulite
- 19:47Speaker 2: on your fucking legs.
- 19:48Speaker 3: I do, and that's okay.
- 19:49Speaker 1: But what I'm saying is is every I was thinking
- 19:53Speaker 1: about this and every single mom it doesn't matter if
- 19:56Speaker 1: someone looks at you and says you look incredible. You
- 20:00Speaker 1: don't feel like your body is yours anymore. You don't
- 20:04Speaker 1: want to go to the gym because you're fucking tired,
- 20:06Speaker 1: or you work and on your off time you want
- 20:08Speaker 1: to hang out with your kid, and things just look different. Okay,
- 20:11Speaker 1: you know even though from Afar, definitely I get it.
- 20:14Speaker 1: My bounce back was on point. I'm not complaining, but
- 20:16Speaker 1: I have insecurities. I didn't buy anything at Zara that
- 20:19Speaker 1: day because I was like, I don't feel hot, Oh
- 20:22Speaker 1: my god, and.
- 20:22Speaker 2: You not buying something is like, honestly, me.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Not eating It's the same me not buying something that's
- 20:28Speaker 1: on sale at Zara.
- 20:29Speaker 2: It's like me not eating an ice cream cone or whatever,
- 20:33Speaker 2: or a chicken sandwich.
- 20:34Speaker 1: So now it just like it put things into perspective
- 20:36Speaker 1: when I've had certain friends that have had babies or
- 20:40Speaker 1: people on the Gram who are like, how did you
- 20:42Speaker 1: get your confidence back? And I've never understood because I'm like,
- 20:45Speaker 1: I'm looking at your photos. I'm looking at you. You
- 20:49Speaker 1: look incredible period, not you look incredible for just having
- 20:53Speaker 1: a baby. You look incredible period. But it's your mental state.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Well I think that people. I think obviously you were
- 20:59Speaker 2: very lucky, because everybody has a different bounce back, and
- 21:03Speaker 2: some people it takes longer, some people it takes less.
- 21:06Speaker 2: It's all different. But at the end of the day,
- 21:08Speaker 2: having a baby is a is an incredible feat. So
- 21:14Speaker 2: you know, I don't care what a woman looks like
- 21:17Speaker 2: or what she wants to look like after she has
- 21:19Speaker 2: a baby, because to me, any woman that has a
- 21:21Speaker 2: baby is beautiful period the day after that. But it's
- 21:25Speaker 2: true because first of all, there's no man that can
- 21:29Speaker 2: carry a child for ten months ago through it. Y' no, no,
- 21:32Speaker 2: we couldn't handle it.
- 21:33Speaker 3: You don't even get it, by the way, in the last.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Month, when you're when you're when you're like I barely
- 21:38Speaker 2: can sleep because you can't move left or right. I mean,
- 21:41Speaker 2: I don't know how I give. I give women all
- 21:44Speaker 2: the props in the world, but what I want to
- 21:45Speaker 2: say is this, you look stunning. I've told you this,
- 21:50Speaker 2: but I think the way you phrased it today versus
- 21:52Speaker 2: how you fraided it for me because I'm always like,
- 21:54Speaker 2: you cannot complain about how you look because I think
- 21:56Speaker 2: you look stunning now. I also I'm biased because I
- 21:58Speaker 2: don't think of you anything about that. But I think
- 22:01Speaker 2: the way you said it to me today, and I
- 22:02Speaker 2: think to men listening to this podcast, I think it's different.
- 22:06Speaker 2: I think you said something very different that kind of
- 22:09Speaker 2: got my attention, which was even though people might say
- 22:13Speaker 2: you look beautiful, or or your body bounce back so quickly,
- 22:16Speaker 2: or whatever they're saying to you, I don't know, inside
- 22:19Speaker 2: you still have a lot of insecurities about things that
- 22:21Speaker 2: you don't feel as beautiful as maybe you felt before.
- 22:26Speaker 2: So that is probably a really big challenge for any
- 22:30Speaker 2: woman you know going through a post pregnancy, And I
- 22:33Speaker 2: think that makes a lot of sense to me. Now,
- 22:35Speaker 2: me saying because I would get annoyed. I'd say, babe,
- 22:37Speaker 2: you look stunning, what are you talking about? And then
- 22:39Speaker 2: you like Kiah, But I don't feel it or I
- 22:41Speaker 2: don't doete it up. But I think it makes more sense.
- 22:42Speaker 2: You're saying, well, my body isn't exactly the way I
- 22:45Speaker 2: knew it, so I'm still have a lot of, you know, insecurities.
- 22:48Speaker 2: And then I think that that's okay. I think the
- 22:50Speaker 2: more you talk about that stuff, the more, at least
- 22:54Speaker 2: the more I understand it. You know what I mean,
- 22:55Speaker 2: because for me, you look perfect, but you know, I
- 22:59Speaker 2: don't ever look at you different. But I think I
- 23:02Speaker 2: understand what you're saying this today.
- 23:05Speaker 1: I know, well, when you hear women who look incredible
- 23:07Speaker 1: complaining about there, you know, I've seen it on Instagram.
- 23:09Speaker 1: People are like, I just don't feel like myself and
- 23:11Speaker 1: you're looking at them and you're like, your hottest fuck
- 23:13Speaker 1: please shut up.
- 23:14Speaker 3: It GE's annoying.
- 23:15Speaker 2: But maybe people say that, but people say.
- 23:17Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying, But it's a real thing. Your
- 23:20Speaker 1: your mental state is just different, right, And.
- 23:23Speaker 2: I think that that is something that I think we
- 23:26Speaker 2: don't see always through social media. I think people aren't
- 23:29Speaker 2: as raw as you are, like saying, just because physically,
- 23:34Speaker 2: maybe I look perfect in my bounce back, I'm saying,
- 23:37Speaker 2: and maybe to some people might say that to you,
- 23:41Speaker 2: I think that there's also in a mental catchup and
- 23:45Speaker 2: you're not feeling that right now. And you went into
- 23:47Speaker 2: Zara and you walked out because you didn't know what
- 23:49Speaker 2: I'm saying. You didn't feel, you didn't feel beautiful, or
- 23:53Speaker 2: you didn't feel you just didn't feel it. No.
- 23:55Speaker 1: I looked at my mom and I said, I need
- 23:57Speaker 1: a Wetzel's Pretzel and a.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Fucking coke cry. That's what I need in order.
- 24:02Speaker 1: For me to not use my shit. I need a
- 24:05Speaker 1: motherfucking Wetzel's Pretzel.
- 24:07Speaker 2: And by the way, I think all women, you know,
- 24:10Speaker 2: whatever their body might look like, are stunning people after
- 24:15Speaker 2: giving after giving birth to a child, I think any woman,
- 24:20Speaker 2: and I'm saying it in my opinion, my opinion, it's
- 24:22Speaker 2: my humble opinion, should not have to ever justify their
- 24:28Speaker 2: physical being after giving birth because they're now raising a newborn,
- 24:36Speaker 2: feeding a newborn every minute. And and by the way,
- 24:39Speaker 2: to me, they're superheroes because to be able to do
- 24:41Speaker 2: what you women do in raising our children the way.
- 24:45Speaker 2: You know, we can't give them milk, we can't give
- 24:48Speaker 2: them our nipple. You know, we can't do the things
- 24:50Speaker 2: you do. And that's that's been that makes you guys superheroes.
- 24:53Speaker 3: So we are superheroes. You are my ocean's godmother.
- 24:57Speaker 1: My best friend Olivia from that has four children, god,
- 25:04Speaker 1: no help at all, still gets her ass to the
- 25:06Speaker 1: gym and at five in the morning takes.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Their kids to school. I mean, she is a superhero.
- 25:14Speaker 3: So with that being said, I want to tell.
- 25:16Speaker 2: You one, I'm very proud of you, and I'm all
- 25:19Speaker 2: very proud of all of the women.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Out there who this it's more of a venting podcast today.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I like it too. Well, it's preventing. Can I
- 25:25Speaker 2: just have a one minute vent?
- 25:27Speaker 3: Totally? Do it.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Mine's a little different. Mine's about my flight home yesterday.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Oh God, do we have to talk about the fact
- 25:33Speaker 1: you didn't have Wi Fi on the plane? And you
- 25:34Speaker 1: almostlash your mind?
- 25:35Speaker 2: No, but I'm bigger.
- 25:36Speaker 3: They're good for you.
- 25:37Speaker 2: But I think that people don't realize. I think everybody's
- 25:40Speaker 2: laughing at me saying this, but I just want to
- 25:42Speaker 2: say this, when you travel as much as I do
- 25:44Speaker 2: for work part of your day, when you book a
- 25:46Speaker 2: flight in the middle of the week for me and listen,
- 25:49Speaker 2: I know it's a it's a bougie thing to say,
- 25:53Speaker 2: but the truth is this, there are deals sometimes that
- 25:55Speaker 2: are going on that are very time sensitive for me,
- 25:58Speaker 2: and so I'll book a flight in the middle of the
- 25:59Speaker 2: day because I know I can work the whole flight
- 26:01Speaker 2: with emails and stuff. And I got on the plane
- 26:04Speaker 2: and I was on a time sensitive deadline, true story,
- 26:06Speaker 2: and there was a hurricane. There was a lot of weather, okay,
- 26:10Speaker 2: and I was very nervous. I'm a bad flyer. And
- 26:14Speaker 2: and by the way, my prayers go out to all
- 26:17Speaker 2: all of the victims and people that are being affected
- 26:20Speaker 2: and being affected by the hurricane that just hit Louisiana
- 26:23Speaker 2: again six It was sixteen days after Andrews. So like
- 26:27Speaker 2: it's just that's a horrible, horrible strategy. So my thoughts
- 26:31Speaker 2: and prayers go out to everybody that's being affected. I
- 26:34Speaker 2: just want to say, though I got on the plane
- 26:37Speaker 2: and the wife I didn't work.
- 26:39Speaker 1: And I haven't been and you have to know Randall
- 26:43Speaker 1: has a lot of things that he needs to find
- 26:44Speaker 1: out if Kylie Jenner is pregnant or not.
- 26:47Speaker 3: That is that's why he needed his wife.
- 26:50Speaker 2: That's not true. But okay, I might be checking. I've
- 26:52Speaker 2: checked the gram a few times.
- 26:54Speaker 3: He fills me in on pulp culture.
- 26:55Speaker 2: But listen. But the thing is, I'm just saying it's
- 26:57Speaker 2: the it's more of an experience, not really plane. I
- 27:01Speaker 2: have not been on an airplane for five and a
- 27:03Speaker 2: half almost six hours without any internet. And we took
- 27:06Speaker 2: off and there was no movies, no nothing. So we
- 27:08Speaker 2: took off and they told us the Wi Fi wasn't working.
- 27:12Speaker 2: People around me looked like they were yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 27:16Speaker 2: And I just sat there. And here's the other thing.
- 27:19Speaker 2: When you're in a bad flyer.
- 27:20Speaker 3: This is what is all you boogie first class ters
- 27:23Speaker 3: no Wi Fi?
- 27:24Speaker 2: They didn't have it in coach. I would have sat
- 27:25Speaker 2: in the last row. But listen, all I'm saying is
- 27:28Speaker 2: here here's the part that's the worst. I'm a bad flyer.
- 27:32Speaker 2: So I tracked the turbulence and I tracked our flight
- 27:34Speaker 2: path and it's like gives me peace, like to know
- 27:37Speaker 2: where we are, where the turbulence where the weather is.
- 27:40Speaker 2: So for the first time in like years, I didn't
- 27:42Speaker 2: know where we were, we were flying, what was going on.
- 27:45Speaker 2: And I had to sit there and just look out
- 27:47Speaker 2: the window literally for five and a half hours. And
- 27:49Speaker 2: everybody on that plane had their shades down. Yeah, and
- 27:52Speaker 2: I had all three of my shades up.
- 27:54Speaker 3: With your compass on and yes, because.
- 27:56Speaker 2: You can use your compass on your phone.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm so done.
- 27:59Speaker 2: No, listen, you could use your compass on your phone.
- 28:01Speaker 2: And I know we're supposed to be heading west, so
- 28:03Speaker 2: we're heading northwest. All of a sudden, we're going southwest,
- 28:05Speaker 2: so I know there's weather, so I'm freaking out. Then
- 28:08Speaker 2: we turned back west, so yeah, I was monitoring the
- 28:10Speaker 2: flight the entire way.
- 28:11Speaker 3: IVY.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I want to remind you guys, if you have questions, comments,
- 28:17Speaker 1: concerns for the give them all with Randall Podcast. You
- 28:19Speaker 1: can call us at one eight six six La La Pod.
- 28:23Speaker 1: You want to give us our first voicemail rand.
- 28:25Speaker 4: Yeah, Hello, Lala and Randall. I'm sending you love from
- 28:30Speaker 4: this funny, hot, scorching Arizona. I just wanted this very
- 28:34Speaker 4: I love you both. I love your dynamic. When I
- 28:37Speaker 4: am working hard on my small business. I just have
- 28:41Speaker 4: your podcast paying and then just laugh and it makes
- 28:44Speaker 4: time go quicker. So I cann't thank you both. My
- 28:47Speaker 4: question is, do you ever like make a gesture at
- 28:52Speaker 4: one another or make faces and get mad at one
- 28:56Speaker 4: another that we can't hear. Because I just think if
- 28:58Speaker 4: I was on a podcast, is my significant other, I
- 29:01Speaker 4: would make like mad faces or shut up faces or
- 29:05Speaker 4: shock faces, or I don't know, just have like a
- 29:08Speaker 4: silent language with my partner. So I was just wondering
- 29:11Speaker 4: if you two do the same thing. I love you,
- 29:14Speaker 4: Go bye.
- 29:16Speaker 1: So actually exciting news in the podcast studio, we are
- 29:20Speaker 1: having cameras installed so people will be able to actually.
- 29:24Speaker 3: Watch the podcast's scary. It's scary, scary, it's terrifying.
- 29:31Speaker 1: And when that was suggested to us, I wanted to
- 29:34Speaker 1: fall into the best.
- 29:35Speaker 2: I'm so excited that's going to be. So there's going
- 29:38Speaker 2: to be more fiat theater and drama from you watching
- 29:42Speaker 2: our podcast and listening to our.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Podcasts if you were, if you were to actually watch,
- 29:46Speaker 1: there's a lot of times where I look at Randall
- 29:47Speaker 1: and gesture to my throat to remind him, please don't
- 29:50Speaker 1: clear your throat. On the mic, there's a lot of
- 29:53Speaker 1: like main mugging.
- 29:54Speaker 2: No. The answer, the answer is very simple. Yes, she
- 29:59Speaker 2: fucked and looks at me like she wants to, you know,
- 30:04Speaker 2: assassinate me. She looks at me like she's pissed. She
- 30:08Speaker 2: looks at me like, why the fuck would you say that?
- 30:10Speaker 3: Do I ever look at you loving me on the podcast?
- 30:12Speaker 2: Not much?
- 30:13Speaker 3: Wow, that's so rude of me.
- 30:16Speaker 2: No, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. You look at me all
- 30:17Speaker 2: the time with love, But I'm saying there are moments where,
- 30:20Speaker 2: of course you look at me with love. I think
- 30:21Speaker 2: we both look at each other with lots of love,
- 30:23Speaker 2: and I think there's little moments where we kind of
- 30:25Speaker 2: check each other. There's moments where I've said to you, Han,
- 30:28Speaker 2: really and then you look at me and like okay.
- 30:31Speaker 2: But I think you'll see some of that when when
- 30:34Speaker 2: we start showing the video.
- 30:35Speaker 3: I think that'll be fun.
- 30:36Speaker 2: That's a great question though, I love that question. The
- 30:39Speaker 2: answer is, yes, we have a very shorthand with each
- 30:41Speaker 2: other where she can just kind of turn and look
- 30:43Speaker 2: straight at me and I know she's like, we didn't
- 30:46Speaker 2: need to say that, or or vice versa. She knows
- 30:48Speaker 2: that I'm not happy with something she might have said,
- 30:51Speaker 2: but for the most part, the truth is, I would
- 30:53Speaker 2: say ninety five percent of what we say. You hear,
- 30:57Speaker 2: we don't.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Really our facial expressions.
- 30:59Speaker 2: You mean yeah, but I mean even what we're saying
- 31:01Speaker 2: on the mic, like we're not really edited. We kind
- 31:03Speaker 2: of just let it roll. We just kind of garry
- 31:06Speaker 2: so we are.
- 31:07Speaker 1: So we want to thank you guys for listening to
- 31:09Speaker 1: another episode of Give Them Laala with Randall. Remember it's
- 31:13Speaker 1: my freaking birthday tomorrow and I have the birthday palette
- 31:17Speaker 1: coming out, so get yours.
