- 0:00Speaker 1: Now, this is The Mark Simone Show on 710WOR.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Well, can we put the next gen on?
- 0:14Speaker 3: Results in the two flight attendants.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Oh, that's a wrong cut there. No, I was going
- 0:19Speaker 2: to say. Now, what is that? Well, we'll get to
- 0:24Speaker 2: that in a moment. We've got a lot to get to. Hey,
- 0:26Speaker 2: tonight is the big debate. Bruce Blakeman. Debates Kathy Hochul.
- 0:33Speaker 2: This will be the one and only debate in the
- 0:36Speaker 2: governor's race. Hochul has really been sleazy and just awful
- 0:42Speaker 2: about this. You're supposed to debate a couple of times.
- 0:46Speaker 2: You're supposed to debate on a real television station. She
- 0:50Speaker 2: was offered to debate Channel 2, Channel 4, Channel 5,
- 0:54Speaker 2: Channel 7. CNN offered to debate. She turned down every debate. Now,
- 1:01Speaker 2: you got to take one. So the only one she
- 1:04Speaker 2: would take is New York One, which is a tiny
- 1:06Speaker 2: little thing that's only on one cable system out of
- 1:10Speaker 2: the five in the New York area. Most people, the
- 1:14Speaker 2: vast majority of New York, cannot get New York One.
- 1:18Speaker 2: It's got about 12 viewers. It is the most biased
- 1:22Speaker 2: left-wing channel. And they picked the most biased guy, Errol Lewis.
- 1:28Speaker 2: He's a very nice guy. I used to work with him.
- 1:31Speaker 2: great guy but when he gets on the air he's
- 1:32Speaker 2: the most left-wing biased guy in the world so this
- 1:36Speaker 2: is the only place Kathy Hochul will debate on a
- 1:39Speaker 2: very biased left-wing channel that has very few viewers that's
- 1:43Speaker 2: the only place she'll debate now you can probably find
- 1:46Speaker 2: it online somewhere most of the people listening to me
- 1:48Speaker 2: cannot get New York One but the debate is tonight
- 1:53Speaker 2: at seven o'clock it'll be streaming New York One probably
- 1:57Speaker 2: has a website where it's streaming it might be streaming
- 1:59Speaker 2: on YouTube And you've got to watch it. It's Blakeman
- 2:03Speaker 2: and Hochul tonight, 7 o'clock. It's a one-hour debate. And
- 2:09Speaker 2: this could be it for Hochul. She must not be
- 2:11Speaker 2: confident about her debating skill if she won't allow the
- 2:15Speaker 2: debate to go on a real TV station. It can
- 2:18Speaker 2: only go on this little one that nobody sees. So
- 2:22Speaker 2: it's tonight at 7 o'clock. We'll see what happens there.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Blakeman is doing very well in the polling. You know,
- 2:29Speaker 2: it's funny. she panicked when Blakeman caught up to her
- 2:34Speaker 2: in the polls. So she started running millions and millions
- 2:38Speaker 2: of dollars in attack ads. You only do that when
- 2:41Speaker 2: you're in panic mode. Millions in the last few weeks.
- 2:45Speaker 2: You've seen them. They're all over television attacking Blakeman. And
- 2:48Speaker 2: they did incredible opposition research into this guy looking for dirt.
- 2:52Speaker 2: You know what they found? Nothing. Not a damn thing.
- 2:56Speaker 2: The only thing they could find is that he's friends
- 2:59Speaker 2: with Donald Trump. So all the attack ads are about
- 3:01Speaker 2: he's friends with Trump, he knows Trump, he likes Trump.
- 3:04Speaker 2: That was the attack ad. That's all they could come
- 3:06Speaker 2: up with. But people started to notice, and she was
- 3:10Speaker 2: getting criticized, because all you do is run attack ads.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Where's the positive ads? Not one positive ad. Well, she
- 3:17Speaker 2: started running a positive ad today, just so people can't
- 3:20Speaker 2: say she's never run one. It's the worst positive ad
- 3:23Speaker 2: I've ever seen. Nothing about lowering your utility bills, nothing
- 3:27Speaker 2: about lowering price, nothing about safety. The whole positive ad
- 3:32Speaker 2: was her at a school lunchroom showing you how she
- 3:35Speaker 2: changed the menu for school lunches. Well, that's fine, but
- 3:39Speaker 2: I think it takes more than that to earn people's votes.
- 3:43Speaker 2: She quadrupled your electric bill with her and Cuomo shut
- 3:47Speaker 2: down Indian Point. She kills fracking. There's no fracking allowed.
- 3:51Speaker 2: So she's driven your electric bill way up and she's
- 3:54Speaker 2: put all kinds of levies and fees and taxes on
- 3:57Speaker 2: your electric bill. Same thing with gas. The state charges
- 4:00Speaker 2: like 75 cents a gallon extra for your gas. 75
- 4:04Speaker 2: cents of that gallon, the price for the gallon is
- 4:08Speaker 2: state tax. You could lift that, at least during the
- 4:11Speaker 2: Iran conflict, you could lift that, but she's not doing that.
- 4:15Speaker 2: So if you were flying on this plane yesterday, you heard,
- 4:19Speaker 2: you know, sometimes you hear somebody's talking a little loud
- 4:22Speaker 2: or There's a baby crying or sometimes somebody's playing music.
- 4:27Speaker 2: But if you were on the flight, this flight, you
- 4:29Speaker 2: would hear another passenger and you'd hear this. All right. Now,
- 4:39Speaker 2: that's Selma Blair on a flight. Now, when they say
- 4:42Speaker 2: she was screaming maniacally, she was getting out of control.
- 4:46Speaker 2: And if you say, well, maybe they're exaggerating. No, this
- 4:49Speaker 2: is not. This is not the shower scene from Psycho.
- 4:53Speaker 2: This is Selma Blair on an airplane.
- 4:56Speaker 4: All right, so there's two flight attendants.
- 5:07Speaker 2: One of them, she punches and apparently punched her hard
- 5:11Speaker 2: enough to send her to the hospital. She did end
- 5:14Speaker 2: up in the hospital. The other flight attendant, she bit.
- 5:18Speaker 2: It was bleeding in her arm. She bit her. They
- 5:21Speaker 2: tied her up in restraints. They had to carry her
- 5:24Speaker 2: off the plane, acting like a complete psycho lunatic. So
- 5:31Speaker 2: now the pilots had to radio ahead because the two
- 5:33Speaker 2: stewardesses were injured. Turns out one wasn't too bad, but
- 5:36Speaker 2: the other one did have to go to the hospital. Now,
- 5:38Speaker 2: these pilots are the calmest people in the world. No
- 5:42Speaker 2: matter what is happening, it could be the worst disaster.
- 5:45Speaker 2: They talk like this to the control tower. They're very calm.
- 5:49Speaker 2: You remember that Sully Sullenberger audio when he had to
- 5:52Speaker 2: crash the plane into the river? Remember that audio? He goes, oh,
- 5:56Speaker 2: we're going to be in the Hudson River. We're going
- 5:58Speaker 2: to have to land. They talk very calmly no matter what.
- 6:00Speaker 2: So anyway, he's got a psycho passenger who has bitten
- 6:04Speaker 2: the stewardess, is screaming like this. But listen to the
- 6:09Speaker 2: pilot calling the control tower.
- 6:11Speaker 5: We'd like to have some medical personnel at the gate
- 6:15Speaker 5: for a couple of the FAs involved in the passenger incident.
- 6:18Speaker 5: They just need to get a couple things with that. Okay.
- 6:20Speaker 6: I will pass that along.
- 6:22Speaker 5: Just get an estimated station count for me, please. How
- 6:24Speaker 5: many ambulances will need?
- 6:26Speaker 2: No ambulances.
- 6:26Speaker 5: Just some medical personnel available for two flight attendants at
- 6:30Speaker 5: the gate should be fine.
- 6:31Speaker 2: I mean, golf announcers scream more than these guys. Yeah,
- 6:35Speaker 2: so just an ambulance. No, no ambulance. Just a... For F.A.
- 6:39Speaker 2: is a flight attendant, but this is so calm.
- 6:42Speaker 5: From the info I've got, it sounds like there were two, yeah,
- 6:47Speaker 5: one flight attendant and one passenger that sustained some minor injuries,
- 6:51Speaker 5: a bloody nose as well as some bite marks as well.
- 6:54Speaker 5: So I don't think we need an ambulance or anything
- 6:56Speaker 5: like that, but we just need to get some medical
- 6:58Speaker 5: personnel at the gate to look at their injuries.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Yeah, that's nothing. Bloody nose, bleeding, bite marks, some flight.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Is this Blair here?
- 7:09Speaker 3: The abusive passenger.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Oh, this is his mark.
- 7:12Speaker 3: The abusive passenger. Did that result in the two flight
- 7:17Speaker 3: attendants that are requested paramedics?
- 7:20Speaker 5: Yeah, one flight attendant and one passenger that sustained some
- 7:23Speaker 5: minor injuries. A bloody nose as well as some bite marks.
- 7:28Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 7:28Speaker 3: The abusive passenger. Did that result in the two flight attendants?
- 7:33Speaker 2: So, apparently... Selma Blair thrashing around so much, she banged
- 7:37Speaker 2: her head a few times. So they tie her up
- 7:40Speaker 2: in restraints. They put her on a stretcher. They're taking
- 7:43Speaker 2: her to an ambulance. She kicked the guy in the ambulance.
- 7:46Speaker 2: She kicked the nurse. They're saying it was, what does
- 7:51Speaker 2: she have, multiple sclerosis? She has something, and they said
- 7:54Speaker 2: it's the medication. The lawyers are already at work. Now,
- 7:56Speaker 2: she's facing local assault charges, very serious assault charges. And
- 8:02Speaker 2: on top of that, she's facing federal charges. So this
- 8:08Speaker 2: is going to be very serious. The lawyers are going
- 8:10Speaker 2: to make a fortune. There's a whole team of lawyers.
- 8:13Speaker 2: They're arguing that it was because of her illness or
- 8:16Speaker 2: multiple sclerosis or this or that, that it's because she
- 8:20Speaker 2: was on the medication. It's because she was off the medication.
- 8:22Speaker 2: It's because she started the– whatever. I mean, there's a
- 8:25Speaker 2: lot of medication that can cause– I don't know. Does
- 8:27Speaker 2: it cause this?
- 8:28Speaker 3: No.
- 8:30Speaker 2: I mean, there's some medications that give you a little headache.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Sometimes some medications make you a little nauseous. You get
- 8:39Speaker 2: a little upset stomach. But I don't know any medications
- 8:41Speaker 2: that cause this.
- 8:48Speaker 8: Yes.
- 8:49Speaker 2: A little strange. I've looked at a lot of side effects.
- 8:54Speaker 2: I never saw where it said, might make you scream
- 8:57Speaker 2: like a coyote. I don't know. I might turn you
- 9:00Speaker 2: into a werewolf. I don't know. We'll see if she
- 9:02Speaker 2: can get herself out of this. You know, this is
- 9:04Speaker 2: not the first time. Ten years ago, there was an
- 9:06Speaker 2: incident where I don't think she, I don't know if
- 9:11Speaker 2: she injured anybody, but she got out of control on
- 9:13Speaker 2: a plane. What does this woman have to do to
- 9:15Speaker 2: get on the no-fly list? You'd think somebody would put
- 9:19Speaker 2: her on it. Hey, Elon Omar, the raid took place
- 9:23Speaker 2: on her house yesterday. Now, they're saying... that they had
- 9:28Speaker 2: enough evidence against her that the judge, author, went to
- 9:32Speaker 2: a federal judge. He okayed the raid, so they had
- 9:34Speaker 2: enough on her. Hey, by the way, all you're going
- 9:36Speaker 2: to hear about now, if you watch MSNBC or CNN
- 9:41Speaker 2: or the crazy narrative, all you're going to hear is
- 9:42Speaker 2: that this is lawfare. This is Trump going after a
- 9:46Speaker 2: political opponent. That's why, well, the story doesn't hold up
- 9:51Speaker 2: because this investigation into her activities started under Joe Biden.
- 9:57Speaker 2: It was the Biden administration that launched this probe. They
- 10:00Speaker 2: suspected her of all kinds of illegal crap, and they
- 10:04Speaker 2: began the investigation. He's continuing the Biden investigation. Trump is
- 10:08Speaker 2: no fan of Ilhan Omar.
- 10:09Speaker 9: How about Ilhan Omar?
- 10:11Speaker 2: She comes from Somalia. All they have is crime and squalor.
- 10:15Speaker 10: And she comes into our country and she says, my
- 10:18Speaker 10: constitution allows me. She's talking about our constitution, what they've
- 10:24Speaker 10: done to Minnesota, these people from Somalia, what they've done
- 10:27Speaker 10: to Minnesota should never be allowed.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Yeah, one thing's right about it. There is tremendous fraud.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Taxpayers are getting robbed for billions in these fraud things
- 10:38Speaker 2: with this fake medical. And a lot of this is
- 10:40Speaker 2: Somalians in Minnesota. If she has any knowledge of this
- 10:43Speaker 2: or ties to this, That could come out.
- 10:48Speaker 10: She comes into our country and she says, I have
- 10:51Speaker 10: a constitutional right.
- 10:53Speaker 11: She's got a constitutional right.
- 10:54Speaker 2: She's telling us about the Constitution.
- 10:57Speaker 11: And she comes from one of the worst countries anywhere
- 11:00Speaker 11: on the planet.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Well, again, this investigation began under the Biden administration. And
- 11:07Speaker 2: it looks like she may have done some illegal things.
- 11:09Speaker 2: And you know what Democrats always say?
- 11:11Speaker 9: No one is above the law.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Nobody's above the law.
- 11:13Speaker 9: No person is above the law.
- 11:15Speaker 2: No one is above the law. No one is above
- 11:17Speaker 2: the law. No one is above the law. No one
- 11:20Speaker 2: is above the law.
- 11:20Speaker 9: No one is above the law.
- 11:22Speaker 2: You're not above the law. You're not an elite.
- 11:24Speaker 9: You're not untouchable. And so it's nice to see that
- 11:26Speaker 9: the rule of law has returned.
- 11:28Speaker 2: All right. That's a good rule to go by. We'll
- 11:29Speaker 2: stick to that with Elon Omar. Kimberly Guilfoyle. Uh, I
- 11:37Speaker 2: don't think she makes it through the week. Uh, it
- 11:40Speaker 2: doesn't look good. It doesn't look good. They're, uh, seriously
- 11:43Speaker 2: looking at removing Kimberly Guilfoyle, the president, Marco Rubio, secretary
- 11:48Speaker 2: of states. They're extremely upset with her. They are looking
- 11:53Speaker 2: to replace her. Uh, president Trump, the exact quote is, well, yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 2: we're looking at it. We're looking at, we're not happy.
- 12:01Speaker 2: That's pretty bad from him. Uh, he told a reporter Monday, um, Now,
- 12:06Speaker 2: the main thing, the latest thing is she asked a
- 12:09Speaker 2: donor to pay her American Express bill, $ 100, 000. She ran
- 12:13Speaker 2: up a huge American Express bill, asked him to pay it.
- 12:19Speaker 2: But there's other stuff. Now, apparently there are some, she's
- 12:22Speaker 2: the ambassador of Greece, a lot of tycoons in Greece.
- 12:27Speaker 2: And a lot of them, well, they're saying that they
- 12:30Speaker 2: were paying for her travel. they're saying that she said
- 12:34Speaker 2: to them, I'm going to make you a lot of
- 12:35Speaker 2: effing money. She wanted them to pay for this, pay
- 12:40Speaker 2: for that. She's also the subject of an internal State
- 12:42Speaker 2: Department investigation into her behavior in Athens, including alleged mistreatment
- 12:49Speaker 2: of staff. You know, you used to hear that kind
- 12:53Speaker 2: of thing over at Fox sometimes. But again, just rumor,
- 12:56Speaker 2: just rumor. That's all it is. Now, why does she
- 13:00Speaker 2: need all this money? I don't know. She made a
- 13:02Speaker 2: lot of money in her day. She was engaged to
- 13:05Speaker 2: Donald Trump Jr. You know, they bought a house together.
- 13:09Speaker 2: They paid about $ 10 million for it in Florida. They
- 13:12Speaker 2: bought it at the right time. Florida real estate was
- 13:14Speaker 2: going up. They sold it for, I think, about $ 15 million.
- 13:18Speaker 2: In fact, when they did, they just sold the house,
- 13:22Speaker 2: and Donald Trump Jr. gave her her share, $ 7. 6 million. So,
- 13:29Speaker 2: I mean, she's definitely got some money, but I don't
- 13:32Speaker 2: know how she ran up these bills or why she
- 13:34Speaker 2: had everybody paying for it. Usually when you appoint the ambassador,
- 13:37Speaker 2: it's a wealthy person that's made huge donations, and that's
- 13:41Speaker 2: how they get the ambassador job. Unless it's a very serious,
- 13:46Speaker 2: you know, troubled hotspot in the world. If it's Yemen
- 13:50Speaker 2: or someplace dangerous, it's a professional career, you know, foreign
- 13:56Speaker 2: service person that's the ambassador. But if it's Europe, it's
- 13:59Speaker 2: some wealthy donor or something. But in this case, I
- 14:02Speaker 2: think they were just trying to get her out of
- 14:03Speaker 2: the country. You know, Don Jr. had broken up with her.
- 14:06Speaker 2: So they sent her over there to be ambassador. It's
- 14:08Speaker 2: really hard to get fired as an ambassador, but it
- 14:10Speaker 2: looks like that could happen with her. Looks like it's
- 14:14Speaker 2: getting closer. So, you know, speaking of the Trump kids,
- 14:19Speaker 2: Eric Trump now demanding an investigation into ABC News. They're
- 14:24Speaker 2: always trying to convince you that... Everything is corrupt with
- 14:27Speaker 2: the Trumps. The kids are corrupt. This is corrupt. That's corrupt.
- 14:31Speaker 2: You could see it with Joe Biden because here's a
- 14:33Speaker 2: guy who doesn't have two cents and has always lived
- 14:36Speaker 2: above his means. He's always buying a big house he
- 14:38Speaker 2: shouldn't be in. You know, the guy was just a congressman.
- 14:40Speaker 2: He buys the DuPont estate. He's living way above his means. That,
- 14:46Speaker 2: you could see it. I mean, you could sort of
- 14:48Speaker 2: understand the motive. But in this case, the Trumps, they're
- 14:51Speaker 2: all billionaires. The kids are billionaires. Billionaires, literally. There were
- 14:56Speaker 2: billionaires at 30. I mean, tons of money. I'm sure they're,
- 15:01Speaker 2: you know, making profit off everything now, but they always did.
- 15:04Speaker 2: They always do. So, you know, they tried to make
- 15:08Speaker 2: it look like Trump profited after his first term. Yeah, well,
- 15:11Speaker 2: if you look at the actual numbers, he went from
- 15:13Speaker 2: $ 7 billion to $ 5 billion. That's not a big profit.
- 15:17Speaker 2: So now let's say he went from $ 7 billion to
- 15:19Speaker 2: $ 8 billion. You know, he would have done that anyway
- 15:21Speaker 2: if he wasn't president, just investing at $ 5 So Erica
- 15:25Speaker 2: went after ABC, tried to put out this story. We
- 15:28Speaker 2: posted it about ties to this company, to that company
- 15:32Speaker 2: that got defense contracts. Well, it turned out the story
- 15:35Speaker 2: wasn't right. And ABC did pull it down. About two
- 15:40Speaker 2: hours later, they pulled the story down because it turns
- 15:42Speaker 2: out it was just a couple of ABC News TDS
- 15:45Speaker 2: sufferers trying to go after Trump. But Eric demanding an
- 15:49Speaker 2: investigation into ABC News. Not the first time. They've gotten
- 15:55Speaker 2: caught with fake news. I mean, Trump got, what did
- 15:58Speaker 2: he get, $ 15 million off George Stephanopoulos for saying false
- 16:02Speaker 2: things on the air. So, hey, we've got a lot
- 16:04Speaker 2: more to get to, plenty to talk about. It's Mark
- 16:08Speaker 2: Simone here, 9 to noon, three hours every day. 9
- 16:11Speaker 2: to noon every day here on 710WOR. Mark Simone.
- 16:17Speaker 6: More Mark.
- 16:18Speaker 12: On 710WOR.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Hey, so the new press secretary debuts today. Katie Zachariah
- 16:27Speaker 2: will start today as press secretary to President Trump. And
- 16:32Speaker 2: she's 41. She's got four kids, married, worked with the
- 16:38Speaker 2: Trump administration in several roles. She was a spokesperson for
- 16:42Speaker 2: other departments. She works at Trump's social media company, one
- 16:46Speaker 2: of the directors of it. And Trump has a great
- 16:50Speaker 2: relationship with her, so you'll see her debut later today.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Should be a great press secretary. Now, it's a big
- 16:57Speaker 2: day for President Trump as far as travel. He's been
- 17:00Speaker 2: working his tail off every day, running around the country.
- 17:04Speaker 2: But today, he has to go to Alaska for a
- 17:08Speaker 2: campaign appearance. Now, I believe some point this afternoon, early,
- 17:13Speaker 2: early afternoon, to fly to Alaska and back. He'll be
- 17:17Speaker 2: sleeping in the White House tonight. We've never had a
- 17:22Speaker 2: president this active. Every single day for a week, he's
- 17:26Speaker 2: been traveling somewhere to another state. Flies out to a state,
- 17:29Speaker 2: flies out to Texas, flies out to Oklahoma, flies out
- 17:32Speaker 2: to Ohio and comes right back. But tonight goes to
- 17:35Speaker 2: this afternoon, goes to Alaska and comes right back. A
- 17:38Speaker 2: lot of flying in one day. Now, it's about seven
- 17:42Speaker 2: and a half hours to Alaska today. but it's air
- 17:45Speaker 2: force one so they'll tell the pilot to speed up
- 17:47Speaker 2: you know you can actually go a lot faster uh
- 17:50Speaker 2: those planes up in the that you fly in those
- 17:53Speaker 2: big jets they can actually go a lot faster if
- 17:55Speaker 2: they want to they don't want to because it wastes
- 17:57Speaker 2: fuel but uh he'll have the pilot speed up so
- 18:01Speaker 2: they'll get there in six hours back in six hours
- 18:04Speaker 2: and it's not the regular air force one it's that
- 18:06Speaker 2: one that cutter lent him so it's like you're in
- 18:09Speaker 2: a palace it's a you're in a plane for six
- 18:11Speaker 2: hours but it You're actually like in the Palace of Versailles.
- 18:14Speaker 2: I mean, there's unbelievable space and luxury, and you can
- 18:20Speaker 2: walk for miles. I'm sure they have a pickleball court
- 18:22Speaker 2: in there, a bowling alley. I mean, it's the most
- 18:24Speaker 2: unbelievable plane in the world. So he's going up to
- 18:26Speaker 2: Alaska to do that appearance. The midterms, too close to call,
- 18:30Speaker 2: too close to call. And these Poles. Well, let's turn
- 18:35Speaker 2: to the, this guy's pretty accurate, the CNN pollster.
- 18:39Speaker 13: Now what we're dealing with, if in fact the polls
- 18:42Speaker 13: underestimate the Republicans, is 53 Republican Senate seats compared to
- 18:47Speaker 13: 47 Republican seats. Maine, that stays red. How about a
- 18:51Speaker 13: flip in Michigan where Abdul-Assad, very neck and neck in
- 18:54Speaker 13: the polls with Mike Rogers.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Ohio stays red. Iowa stays red. Alaska stays red.
- 19:01Speaker 13: Now, I will note, I will note that even in
- 19:04Speaker 13: this scenario, right, you still get a situation where North
- 19:09Speaker 13: Carolina stays blue and Georgia stays blue.
- 19:12Speaker 2: But Texas goes red.
- 19:14Speaker 13: See you later. Ken Paxton gets elected to the United
- 19:17Speaker 13: States Senate. No James Tallarico.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Yeah, the CNN pollster is very confident that the Republicans
- 19:26Speaker 2: take the Senate, hold the Senate, even gain seats. The
- 19:30Speaker 2: House is too close to call. Too close to call. Now,
- 19:34Speaker 2: let's say the worst case scenario, Trump loses everything. He
- 19:38Speaker 2: loses the House, loses the Senate. It doesn't affect him
- 19:40Speaker 2: as much as it would other presidents. Remember, every president
- 19:45Speaker 2: two years in loses the Congress. That's always the case.
- 19:49Speaker 2: I think there were like two exceptions in 200 years.
- 19:51Speaker 2: So it's always the case that you lose the Congress.
- 19:54Speaker 2: This may be another exception. But if he does lose
- 19:56Speaker 2: the Congress, he's one president that really isn't dependent on
- 20:00Speaker 2: Congress for anything. He's got a great cabinet. All the
- 20:03Speaker 2: cabinet members are staying. Nobody's leaving. So he won't need
- 20:07Speaker 2: Senate confirmation for a new cabinet member. Well, what about legislation?
- 20:12Speaker 2: He doesn't do much legislation. There was the big, beautiful
- 20:15Speaker 2: bill that brought everybody's taxes down. But outside of that,
- 20:20Speaker 2: he's not a big guy on legislation. He's a guy
- 20:23Speaker 2: that runs rules by executive order. So he won't be
- 20:28Speaker 2: depending on Congress for anything. He'll just do executive orders
- 20:32Speaker 2: to run everything. Now, what about impeachments? Well, there'll be
- 20:36Speaker 2: one of those a week, but he's used to that.
- 20:39Speaker 2: He kind of enjoys it. I think you... He always
- 20:41Speaker 2: loves a good fight. You know, he said once, my
- 20:44Speaker 2: whole life is one battle after another. It's just always
- 20:48Speaker 2: in a battle, always in a fight. And he's used
- 20:50Speaker 2: to it. He's fine with it. The police commissioner, Jessica Tisch,
- 20:56Speaker 2: the left, the crazy democratic socialists, they're all out to
- 21:02Speaker 2: get her. They want her out of office. They're demanding
- 21:06Speaker 2: she be fired.
- 21:07Speaker 8: Why?
- 21:08Speaker 2: She's done a pretty good job. Well, it's something to
- 21:14Speaker 2: do with ICE, although she's not cooperating with ICE. It's
- 21:17Speaker 2: probably more just anti-Semitism. She's Jewish. They want her out.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Here's one of those crazy left-wing democratic socialists.
- 21:24Speaker 9: This is the— The other thing that really.
- 21:29Speaker 14: Angered me was when Police Commissioner Tisch came out. I
- 21:35Speaker 14: understand that it is her role to provide more information,
- 21:38Speaker 14: and that is why she comes to these press conferences.
- 21:40Speaker 14: But rather than condemn ICE, rather than condemn the shooting
- 21:46Speaker 14: or the events that had just taken place, she started
- 21:50Speaker 14: to villainize Oscar, right?
- 21:53Speaker 12: Villainize him.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Oscar. She villainized Oscar. A good old Oscar. Oscar's the
- 21:58Speaker 2: maniac criminal with a rap sheet that got shot by ICE.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Oscar's a really bad, bad guy. Oscar's only been here
- 22:07Speaker 2: three years. Run up a pretty good arrest record for
- 22:10Speaker 2: three years. He's a criminal. He's a career criminal. Neighbors
- 22:14Speaker 2: describe him as a menacing, awful guy who menaced people
- 22:18Speaker 2: in the building, often walking around with a machete. So
- 22:22Speaker 2: Oscar's a very bad guy. He's a criminal. He's the illegal.
- 22:27Speaker 2: So naturally, he's the darling of these democratic socialists. And
- 22:31Speaker 2: what Tisch did at that press conference is exactly what
- 22:34Speaker 2: the police commissioner is supposed to do. While ICE is
- 22:37Speaker 2: claiming this, the mayor is claiming that, you're the police commissioner.
- 22:40Speaker 2: You walk up to the microphone. Here's the facts as
- 22:43Speaker 2: we know them. And that's what she did. Just very
- 22:45Speaker 2: carefully gave the facts. That's what you're supposed to do.
- 22:48Speaker 2: But they wanted her to condemn ICE and all of that.
- 22:51Speaker 2: So they're out together. Everybody on that side, they're all
- 22:53Speaker 2: going crazy demanding a resignation. No coincidence that yesterday a
- 22:58Speaker 2: Wall Street Journal piece came out by a writer. I
- 23:02Speaker 2: have a feeling it's a friend of Jessica Tisch because
- 23:04Speaker 2: all of a sudden this Wall Street Journal piece came
- 23:06Speaker 2: out with the headline, Greatest Single Police Commissioner Ever. Well,
- 23:12Speaker 2: she's good, but let's not get carried away. I mean,
- 23:15Speaker 2: if you put a Mount Rushmore of police commissioners, you know,
- 23:18Speaker 2: it's Ray Kelly, it's... I don't think she's going to
- 23:22Speaker 2: go up there just yet. Not yet. Tom Holman, what
- 23:27Speaker 2: does he say to all these people that want ICE?
- 23:30Speaker 2: Taken out of New York?
- 23:31Speaker 15: We've arrested and removed hundreds of thousands of criminal inmates
- 23:35Speaker 15: from this country the last two years, making every neighborhood safer.
- 23:39Speaker 15: So to Mayor Mondami, Governor Hochul, you're welcome. We took
- 23:43Speaker 15: over 5,000 criminals off the streets of New York in
- 23:46Speaker 15: the past two years.
- 23:47Speaker 6: You're welcome.
- 23:48Speaker 15: We made your state and your city safer, and we're not.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Going to stop.
- 23:52Speaker 15: He wants to double down and say he wants ICE
- 23:54Speaker 15: out of New York. Well, I'm going to triple down.
- 23:56Speaker 15: We'll send more resources there.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Good, because he took a couple thousand criminals. Off our streets.
- 24:01Speaker 2: If you're wondering how the crime numbers went down, there
- 24:04Speaker 2: you go. Hey, we've got a lot to get to,
- 24:06Speaker 2: and we'll take some calls, too. Coming up, it's Mark
- 24:08Speaker 2: Simone here, 9 to noon, every day, three hours, 9
- 24:12Speaker 2: to noon, on 710WOR.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Live from the WOR LifeVac studios, Mark Simone.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Well, hey, we'll take some calls.
- 24:24Speaker 16: 800-321-0710 is the number. 800-321-0710.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Zero, seven, ten. CNN, they're all over this Kimberly Guilfoyle story,
- 24:35Speaker 2: endlessly covering Kimberly Guilfoyle. You see, the problem is if
- 24:39Speaker 2: you're an ambassador and you get removed, it doesn't happen
- 24:42Speaker 2: very often, but that's it. It might be a story
- 24:45Speaker 2: on page 37 in the old days. But if it's
- 24:49Speaker 2: Trump and he has to remove an ambassador, they try
- 24:52Speaker 2: to use it to make it look like something horrible
- 24:54Speaker 2: has happened with Donald Trump. So it's going to be
- 24:56Speaker 2: all over the place if they do remove her, which
- 24:58Speaker 2: they most likely will. It's going to be the front
- 25:01Speaker 2: page of the New York Times. It's going to be
- 25:02Speaker 2: the lead story. They'll just make such a big deal
- 25:06Speaker 2: out of it, only because they think it's a black
- 25:08Speaker 2: mark against Trump. Let's take some calls. Let's go to
- 25:15Speaker 2: Dave in Chicago. Dave, how are you doing?
- 25:18Speaker 16: Good morning, Mark.
- 25:19Speaker 17: I'm doing very well, thank you. Mark, regarding the Selma
- 25:23Speaker 17: Blair incident, I'm wondering a couple of things because this
- 25:26Speaker 17: happened to me.
- 25:27Speaker 2: The very first time I flew.
- 25:29Speaker 17: I wonder if she was drinking and she suffered an
- 25:32Speaker 17: anxiety attack because she tried to open the door during mid-flight.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Well, that could be. She's been on flights before. But
- 25:39Speaker 2: I've been around people drinking. I'm always out where people
- 25:42Speaker 2: are getting pretty drunk. And I never hear them do this.
- 25:44Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Usually they get sloppy, they laugh too much or whatever,
- 25:51Speaker 2: but I don't know.
- 25:56Speaker 17: The first time I flew, very first time, I flew
- 25:59Speaker 17: from New York to Los Angeles. A woman sitting next
- 26:02Speaker 17: to me was suffering an anxiety attack and I tried
- 26:05Speaker 17: to calm her down. I ultimately had to call for
- 26:08Speaker 17: one of the stewardesses and she spoke to her and
- 26:11Speaker 17: she moved her to another seat. And I'm like, why
- 26:15Speaker 17: are you flying.
- 26:16Speaker 8: If you're so afraid?
- 26:18Speaker 16: Have you flown before?
- 26:19Speaker 2: And she said, yes. Sometimes you have to go somewhere
- 26:21Speaker 2: for something, a funeral, a wedding, or something. But it's
- 26:24Speaker 2: a good point, Dave. Thanks for calling. Yeah, anxiety attack.
- 26:28Speaker 2: There are people who get nervous flying, but usually they
- 26:30Speaker 2: don't say it. You know, I don't know. If it
- 26:37Speaker 2: was simply that, I think she would have used that
- 26:39Speaker 2: as an excuse. Let's go to Blauvelt in Florida. Blauvelt,
- 26:43Speaker 2: how are you doing?
- 26:44Speaker 12: Good morning, Mark Simone.
- 26:45Speaker 6: How are you?
- 26:46Speaker 2: Good.
- 26:47Speaker 12: So you always see these commercials on TV.
- 26:50Speaker 9: These people are.
- 26:51Speaker 18: Like 15 people dancing in.
- 26:52Speaker 16: The middle of the park and they're all singing this
- 26:55Speaker 16: song about this new drug.
- 26:56Speaker 12: And then, you know, at the end of the commercial,
- 26:59Speaker 12: it says, it may cause....
- 27:03Speaker 16: I'm screaming coyote.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Hey, do that again. That was pretty good. That's pretty good.
- 27:10Speaker 2: How did you do that? Wait a minute. Let me compare.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Now you do it. You know, you two ought to
- 27:19Speaker 2: get together. Wow. That's pretty amazing. And your throat doesn't hurt.
- 27:24Speaker 16: That's very good.
- 27:25Speaker 12: I was laughing so hard you.
- 27:27Speaker 16: Said screaming coyote. I almost fell down. I was laughing
- 27:29Speaker 16: so hard.
- 27:30Speaker 2: I think you should do a video with that. Do
- 27:32Speaker 2: that again.
- 27:33Speaker 3: No!
- 27:35Speaker 2: Yeah, do that on a video. I guarantee you, do
- 27:38Speaker 2: a video where you imitate her. You'll go viral.
- 27:41Speaker 16: Instant. Okay, I'll give it a shot.
- 27:43Speaker 2: All right, try that. That's pretty good. Let's go to
- 27:47Speaker 2: Bill in New Jersey. Bill, how you doing?
- 27:50Speaker 16: Okay, Mark.
- 27:51Speaker 19: You know, the race for governor in New York City
- 27:55Speaker 19: is coming. Everybody knows that. And the Manhattan people will
- 28:00Speaker 19: vote for for Hochul. They just despise any connection anybody
- 28:05Speaker 19: has with Trump.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Well, that's not generalized. That's some Manhattan people, but not
- 28:10Speaker 2: all Manhattan people. There are plenty of them that like
- 28:12Speaker 2: the majority.
- 28:12Speaker 19: I mean, Kathy Hochul will probably win.
- 28:14Speaker 16: But I but she's.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Not say that Blakeman has caught up to her. It's
- 28:18Speaker 2: pretty much neck and neck. They're both within the margin
- 28:20Speaker 2: of error now in the real polls.
- 28:23Speaker 19: What about, I mean, here is ICE arresting a criminal
- 28:27Speaker 19: and they protest against ICE and they support the criminal.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Well, that's what happens. That's what happens.
- 28:33Speaker 12: Right is wrong and wrong is right.
- 28:35Speaker 9: It's both.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Yeah, well, that's what happens. It's a good point. You know,
- 28:39Speaker 2: Democrats always say no one is above the law.
- 28:42Speaker 20: Nobody's above the law.
- 28:43Speaker 9: No person is above the law.
- 28:44Speaker 2: No one is above the law. Unless you're here illegally,
- 28:47Speaker 2: then you're a hero. They call them Oscars. Look what
- 28:50Speaker 2: they did to Oscar. Oscar. We're going to start seeing
- 28:53Speaker 2: Oscar statues now? Oscar was a violent career criminal, gang-affiliated.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Neighbors say he menaced them all the time, came at
- 29:01Speaker 2: them with a machete now and then. Oscar was a very, very,
- 29:05Speaker 2: very bad guy. And as Tom Holman said, you're welcome.
- 29:09Speaker 2: He got Oscar the hell out of New York. Not
- 29:13Speaker 2: everybody in Manhattan is a Hochul fan. In fact, good
- 29:16Speaker 2: for James Dolan... Owner of the New York Knicks and
- 29:21Speaker 2: Madison Square Garden and the Rangers, James Dolan, Thursday night
- 29:27Speaker 2: is hosting a big fundraiser for Bruce Blakeman at Madison
- 29:31Speaker 2: Square Garden, $ 10, 000 per ticket. This is important because Blakeman
- 29:35Speaker 2: needs donations. You go to BlakemanForNewYork.com and donate. because Hochul
- 29:41Speaker 2: has raised like $ 35 million. She's outspending Blakeman. Blakeman needs donations. BlakemanForNewYork.com.
- 29:49Speaker 2: But good for Dolan. He'll be doing this $ 10, 000 ticket.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Big fundraiser. Actually, it's the invitation. $ 10, 000 You can do
- 29:58Speaker 2: $ 25, 000 or $ 50, 000. So they could raise a million dollars
- 30:03Speaker 2: at this thing or more. It's Madison Square Garden. They
- 30:05Speaker 2: could raise a couple million that could go to ads and,
- 30:09Speaker 2: more importantly, even the ground game, poll workers, all that
- 30:13Speaker 2: sort of stuff. Dolan is one of the few business guys.
- 30:18Speaker 2: You talk to all the big business leaders of New
- 30:21Speaker 2: York City. They hate Hochul. They want Hochul gone. They
- 30:25Speaker 2: would love to have Blakeman. Many of them are afraid
- 30:28Speaker 2: to donate to Blakeman. Many of them are afraid to
- 30:32Speaker 2: openly support Blakeman because they got a lot of business
- 30:35Speaker 2: going on in New York state. They can't afford to
- 30:38Speaker 2: offend Hochul. They, they need the government for all kinds
- 30:41Speaker 2: of things. So good for Dolan. Obviously he doesn't care
- 30:45Speaker 2: about that. He, uh, he's got a super PAC that
- 30:48Speaker 2: this money goes into. They already spent, uh, Hundreds of
- 30:52Speaker 2: thousands already on billboards, on ads attacking Hochul. There's one
- 30:57Speaker 2: billboard he put up. It says, you are now leaving
- 30:59Speaker 2: New York like everyone else. Vote Bruce Blakeman. So good
- 31:04Speaker 2: for Dolan. Hopefully some other business leaders will jump in.
- 31:08Speaker 2: There's only 21 days left. Three weeks. Midterms in three weeks.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Three weeks. Blakeman needs your help. He was in the
- 31:17Speaker 2: Columbus Day Parade. Mamdani snubbed the parade. Didn't show up.
- 31:21Speaker 2: although Blakeman was there.
- 31:22Speaker 20: I think it's a disgrace he's not here. It's indicative
- 31:26Speaker 20: of him being the most divisive mayor we've ever had.
- 31:30Speaker 20: I want to be a governor that unifies people, not
- 31:33Speaker 20: tears them apart.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Yeah, you can't just be a mayor who supports certain
- 31:37Speaker 2: ethnic groups, snubs other ethnic groups, and then engages in
- 31:42Speaker 2: hate speech against some ethnic groups like Jews and Israel.
- 31:48Speaker 2: So Mamdani, he had to do something for Columbus Day.
- 31:52Speaker 2: So he decides he'll do a video where he praises
- 31:54Speaker 2: an Italian, a great Italian. Who did he pick? Joe DiMaggio?
- 31:59Speaker 16: No.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Frank Sinatra? No. Christopher Columbus? No. Marconi?
- 32:06Speaker 16: No.
- 32:07Speaker 2: He finds some Italian who was in Congress, who was
- 32:10Speaker 2: a communist, who was under investigation for ties to communist
- 32:15Speaker 2: organizations all over the world. This is who Mamdani praised.
- 32:18Speaker 21: Peter Mork Antonio's politics were based around the idea, radical
- 32:22Speaker 21: at the time, that the working class had the same
- 32:25Speaker 21: material interests regardless of their race, religion, or ethnic background.
- 32:29Speaker 21: That the fight for a life of dignity was shared,
- 32:32Speaker 21: just as the struggle was.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Yeah, but the problem is the guy was anti-American. He
- 32:36Speaker 2: was under investigation by the FBI for serious communist ties.
- 32:41Speaker 2: You see, these people, these Mamdanis, these crazies that love communism, socialism,
- 32:48Speaker 2: they really, obviously, they don't really know what it really is.
- 32:52Speaker 2: They don't go to communist countries. They don't see what
- 32:54Speaker 2: really goes on. To them, they've convinced themselves that communism
- 32:59Speaker 2: is about fairness. It's about equity. Everybody's equal. Everybody's taken
- 33:04Speaker 2: care of. It's the opposite. If you go to Cuba,
- 33:08Speaker 2: if you go to any, the old Soviet Union, everybody
- 33:12Speaker 2: was in trouble. Everybody. The only people that did well
- 33:15Speaker 2: were the leaders who were driving around in unbelievable cars,
- 33:18Speaker 2: living in the most incredible mansions, living like kings and
- 33:23Speaker 2: queens and palaces while everybody else is starving, had nothing
- 33:26Speaker 2: to eat. Look, go to Cuba right now. No electricity,
- 33:29Speaker 2: no food. That's what it really is when you actually
- 33:33Speaker 2: put it into practice. But in their dumb little college
- 33:36Speaker 2: kid minds, it's, It's a utopia where everybody is equal.
- 33:41Speaker 2: It's all fair. Well, you can't explain anything to them. Nothing.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Nothing you can explain to them. They should be forced
- 33:49Speaker 2: to live under communism for a year and then let
- 33:52Speaker 2: us know how it is. Anyway, we've got a lot
- 33:54Speaker 2: to get to. Three hours every day. Nine to noon
- 33:57Speaker 2: every day. Three hours. And then at noon, you've got
- 34:00Speaker 2: Buck Saxton and Clay Travis. Three o'clock, you've got Sean Hannity.
- 34:04Speaker 2: He'll be back today. The most listened to radio show
- 34:07Speaker 2: in America. You got Jesse Kelly at 6. The very
- 34:10Speaker 2: funny Jimmy Fallon. 9 to midnight. It's all here on 710WOR.
- 34:16Speaker 1: The Mark Simone Show. Now 9 till noon weekdays.
- 34:20Speaker 16: On 710WOR.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Well, hey, it's three hours every day, nine to noon. Now, remember,
- 34:30Speaker 2: if you can't listen live, you can get the podcast.
- 34:32Speaker 2: This show's podcast. Wherever you get your podcast, you'll find
- 34:35Speaker 2: this show every day. So if you miss the show,
- 34:38Speaker 2: miss an hour. Just get the podcast. Back after the news,
- 34:41Speaker 2: two more hours to go. Mark Simone here on 710WOR.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Now 9 till noon weekday.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Mark Simone.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Only on 710WOR.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Well, we have breaking news for you. First of all,
- 34:59Speaker 2: Katie Zakaria just did her first briefing today. First day
- 35:03Speaker 2: on the job, first briefing. Kept it short. Just went
- 35:07Speaker 2: through the important stuff she had to inform everybody about.
- 35:12Speaker 2: And then that was it. Didn't take questions. But the
- 35:14Speaker 2: big news is... Kimberly Guilfoyle has been asked to resign.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Let me see if I can find the clip here.
- 35:21Speaker 14: Kimberly Guilfoyle, the Daily Mail has been reporting on her
- 35:23Speaker 14: since last year.
- 35:25Speaker 20: The president said yesterday to reporters that he is considering
- 35:28Speaker 20: firing her.
- 35:29Speaker 22: Do you know a timeline for that?
- 35:31Speaker 13: And also, potentially, who could be on the short list
- 35:33Speaker 13: to replace her if he does?
- 35:36Speaker 14: We have asked Ambassador Guilfoyle to resign. She has been
- 35:40Speaker 14: a wonderful asset to the team, and we wish her well.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Just wonderful. Please resign. Well, listen, it's a messy situation.
- 35:50Speaker 2: So she has been asked to resign. She doesn't have
- 35:53Speaker 2: much choice there. Who's on the short list? I don't
- 35:56Speaker 2: think anybody really cares. Who's on the short list to
- 35:58Speaker 2: be the ambassador of Greece? Anyway, she's out. Kimberly Guilfoyle
- 36:03Speaker 2: will most likely resign by the end of the day. Now, again,
- 36:07Speaker 2: it was a number of things. The most recent incident,
- 36:09Speaker 2: this donor came forward and said that she had racked
- 36:13Speaker 2: up this huge American Express bill and she asked him
- 36:17Speaker 2: to pay it off, to send $ 100, 000. And she said,
- 36:22Speaker 2: you can wire it just to American Express. It doesn't
- 36:25Speaker 2: have to be any connection with you and me. He
- 36:27Speaker 2: didn't want to do it. But there's other incidents that
- 36:31Speaker 2: have been reported. Now, there's certain Greek tycoons that have
- 36:36Speaker 2: said they've been paying for her travel and for this
- 36:39Speaker 2: and that, and that she told them, I'll make you
- 36:41Speaker 2: a lot of money, actually a lot of effing money.
- 36:47Speaker 2: She had access to a lot of Trump stuff and
- 36:49Speaker 2: she could help them out. So Kimberly Guilfoyle has been
- 36:53Speaker 2: asked to resign. It would be a late afternoon in
- 36:58Speaker 2: Greece right now. We'll see what happens. Imagine that she's
- 37:03Speaker 2: making a lot of phone calls right now to everybody
- 37:06Speaker 2: trying to see what can be done. It won't work.
- 37:08Speaker 2: And then probably by the end of the day today,
- 37:11Speaker 2: she'll resign. So we'll keep an eye on that for you.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Zelensky says Russia is still hitting his energy facilities. The
- 37:21Speaker 2: president wanted an energy deal where they don't hit the energy.
- 37:25Speaker 2: They don't knock out refineries and gas refineries, diesel refineries,
- 37:29Speaker 2: because it drives the price of oil up. So Zelensky
- 37:32Speaker 2: says Russia broke the, well, if you look at it,
- 37:37Speaker 2: they hit a power plant. That's not what the deal
- 37:39Speaker 2: was about. The deal was about don't hit oil facilities.
- 37:42Speaker 2: Don't drive up the price of gas. So apparently Russia
- 37:45Speaker 2: hit a power plant, but that's a standard part of warfare.
- 37:48Speaker 2: Here's Zelensky.
- 37:49Speaker 11: If Russia wants us to stop our long-range strikes against
- 37:55Speaker 11: its oil refineries and oil exports, then Russia must stop
- 38:00Speaker 11: its strikes against our energy system and critical infrastructure.
- 38:08Speaker 2: He's hard to listen to.
- 38:09Speaker 11: And stop killing our people.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Will you stop talking anyway?
- 38:11Speaker 16: Oh, God.
- 38:13Speaker 2: So I guess he's got a point there, but it's
- 38:20Speaker 2: just part of warfare. You knock out bridges, you knock
- 38:22Speaker 2: out energy. When we went to war in Iraq, first day,
- 38:26Speaker 2: we knocked out the power plants, we knocked out the bridges.
- 38:28Speaker 2: That's just what you do in a war. University of Chicago,
- 38:33Speaker 2: they got a fraternity there. Sexual assault reported. 21-year-old woman
- 38:38Speaker 2: allegedly sexually assaulted at a frat party, University of Chicago.
- 38:43Speaker 2: This is the problem with these fraternities. You know, that
- 38:45Speaker 2: Cornell situation, as awful as that looks, there's about 8,000
- 38:50Speaker 2: of these incidents every year in America at colleges, at fraternities.
- 38:56Speaker 2: 8,000 a year. There's a couple universities that had like
- 39:00Speaker 2: 200 incidents a year. That's a couple every month. It's
- 39:05Speaker 2: a terrible situation, but it goes on all the time.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Remember this, Ilan Omar. Ilhan Omar, the investigation started under Biden.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Just remember that. This is a Biden investigation. The Trump
- 39:21Speaker 2: administration is continuing. You know what was awful? This Six
- 39:25Speaker 2: Flags incident. This father, he's got his children, he's got
- 39:29Speaker 2: his wife. They're on the roller coaster. I don't know
- 39:31Speaker 2: what happened. They were investigating. Nobody's explained it yet, but
- 39:35Speaker 2: somehow he goes flying out of the roller coaster, plunging
- 39:39Speaker 2: to his death. Uh, everybody in the roller coaster has
- 39:42Speaker 2: to watch this. Apparently as he went plunging down, he
- 39:45Speaker 2: hit other cars, landed on the roof of the haunted house, uh,
- 39:50Speaker 2: I don't know. I would never get in one of
- 39:51Speaker 2: those crazy roller coasters. It just looks dangerous. I mean,
- 39:56Speaker 2: I guess they're safe because this is the only incident
- 39:58Speaker 2: we've heard about. There must be millions of people riding
- 40:01Speaker 2: these things. But it doesn't sound safe. This is not
- 40:07Speaker 2: a great thing to have happen for Six Flags. But
- 40:10Speaker 2: I don't know. I've got to look it up and
- 40:13Speaker 2: see how many times there have been these roller coaster accidents.
- 40:16Speaker 2: But it's a horrible, horrible situation. So, hey, Florida is
- 40:22Speaker 2: doing pretty well. Florida, losing DeSantis, not the nicest guy,
- 40:29Speaker 2: but he's been a phenomenal governor, phenomenal governor, and his
- 40:33Speaker 2: term limited out, can't run again. Byron Donalds, he would
- 40:37Speaker 2: be the perfect new governor. He's not the best campaigner.
- 40:40Speaker 2: He's running, but not a great campaigner. President Trump having
- 40:44Speaker 2: to run down there and help him out. The president
- 40:47Speaker 2: will be flying all over the place. Now, Katie Zakaria
- 40:52Speaker 2: is the new press secretary, and she did say in
- 40:54Speaker 2: this press briefing she will travel with the president, which
- 40:57Speaker 2: means she's got to take up this brutal schedule where
- 41:00Speaker 2: you fly all over the country. Every day you fly
- 41:04Speaker 2: to another place, you fly back, a lot of air travel.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Today he's going to Alaska and coming back, and then
- 41:11Speaker 2: the rest of the week, I think tomorrow's Nevada. It's
- 41:15Speaker 2: just nonstop flying, crisscrossing the country, trying to help the midterms.
- 41:20Speaker 2: The midterm's just too close to call. Looks pretty good
- 41:23Speaker 2: for Republicans in the Senate. Now, the problem with Alaska,
- 41:28Speaker 2: Alaska has this stupid ranked choice voting. Democrats put this in.
- 41:33Speaker 2: It's a way of legally rigging an election, this dumb
- 41:36Speaker 2: ranked choice voting. But the problem with it is when
- 41:40Speaker 2: it's election night in 21 days, you're going to have
- 41:43Speaker 2: all these results. And I guarantee you, you're going to
- 41:45Speaker 2: have to wait on Alaska for about four days until
- 41:49Speaker 2: they figure out the ranked choice voting, if it's that close. And,
- 41:54Speaker 2: you know, it could be 49 for the Republicans in
- 41:58Speaker 2: the Senate, and then you have to wait days to
- 42:00Speaker 2: find out if they got Alaska. If the Republicans hit 50,
- 42:04Speaker 2: then it won't matter. But Alaska could hold up the
- 42:07Speaker 2: election results for a long time. Hey, speaking of Florida, California,
- 42:12Speaker 2: the worst-run state, I mean, just a disaster under Newsom.
- 42:17Speaker 2: It's so awful to try to do business in California
- 42:19Speaker 2: that businesses are fleeing like crazy. And even the tech
- 42:23Speaker 2: business is the most famous thing in California business, Silicon Valley.
- 42:27Speaker 2: It's slowly but surely leaving. And a lot of it
- 42:31Speaker 2: moving to Florida more and more. A lot of it
- 42:34Speaker 2: going to Miami. A lot of it going to West
- 42:35Speaker 2: Palm Beach. West Palm Beach, not that big a city,
- 42:39Speaker 2: but it's becoming a huge city. Steve Roth, the guy
- 42:42Speaker 2: that built Hudson Yards, major developers, putting skyscrapers, hospitals. office buildings, home,
- 42:48Speaker 2: everything in there. And more and more builders are there.
- 42:51Speaker 2: So it's going to be a major... Come back in
- 42:54Speaker 2: a couple of years, West Palm Beach will be as
- 42:55Speaker 2: big as Miami. But those two places are going to
- 42:59Speaker 2: be the new Silicon Valley. And this is going to
- 43:02Speaker 2: make a huge difference for Florida in the future for
- 43:04Speaker 2: their economy to have these trillion-dollar companies there. So one
- 43:10Speaker 2: of the results of Newsom is losing their biggest industry
- 43:13Speaker 2: to Florida. It's just... horrible what happened to California under
- 43:19Speaker 2: all those Democrats. It used to be a state that
- 43:21Speaker 2: could go either way. They'd have a Republican governor, they'd
- 43:23Speaker 2: have a Democratic governor. It'd go back and forth. Once
- 43:26Speaker 2: it became a one-party state, it just went all to
- 43:29Speaker 2: hell and it's just a disaster and there's no signs
- 43:33Speaker 2: of ever, ever turning it around. So, hey, you know,
- 43:38Speaker 2: the Democrats want to bring back cancel culture. They miss it.
- 43:43Speaker 2: It was a great way to silence people. you know,
- 43:45Speaker 2: the cancel culture, one wrong word, you're out, your career
- 43:48Speaker 2: is over, you can never show your face in public again.
- 43:51Speaker 2: So they want to start with Shane Gillis, who was
- 43:54Speaker 2: on Saturday Night Live. He was the host this past week.
- 43:57Speaker 2: And in the monologue, they think what he said was
- 44:01Speaker 2: so offensive that he should be canceled. It really wasn't bad.
- 44:03Speaker 2: It was, I mean, it was, he was making fun
- 44:07Speaker 2: of women. He hadn't been in a gym in a
- 44:09Speaker 2: long time. So now he's going to the gym again.
- 44:11Speaker 2: He didn't know that women dressed like whores. And he
- 44:14Speaker 2: started to describe, you know, sometimes you're in the gym
- 44:15Speaker 2: and they're wearing this little skimpy shorts. And I mean, listen,
- 44:20Speaker 2: it got a big laugh from the audience. If you
- 44:22Speaker 2: watch it, the audience is laughing like crazy, but the
- 44:27Speaker 2: cancel culture says it was misogynist and how dare he
- 44:30Speaker 2: use the word whore or women. And so there's an
- 44:33Speaker 2: effort now to cancel and we'll see if they can
- 44:35Speaker 2: restart this cancel culture. They're trying with him. If it
- 44:38Speaker 2: fails with him, it most likely will fail for good.
- 44:43Speaker 2: But they're going to keep trying and keep trying. Are
- 44:45Speaker 2: you following that Kelly Clarkson story? Kelly Clarkson goes into it.
- 44:51Speaker 2: There's something, she saw it in a picture store in Brooklyn.
- 44:54Speaker 2: She wants this, whatever it is, it's some big thing
- 44:57Speaker 2: on the wall. And she goes in to buy it
- 45:00Speaker 2: and they won't sell it to her. So she starts
- 45:02Speaker 2: this whole thing online and it went super viral about
- 45:05Speaker 2: how this store treated her like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.
- 45:09Speaker 2: You know, they thought she didn't have any money and
- 45:12Speaker 2: they treated her like crap and they wouldn't sell it
- 45:14Speaker 2: to her. So it got millions of hits and the
- 45:18Speaker 2: store got all kinds of trouble out of this. But
- 45:21Speaker 2: their side of it is, which could be the truth,
- 45:24Speaker 2: they said it's not anything for sale. It's something we
- 45:28Speaker 2: have decorating our walls. We bought it to decorate the
- 45:31Speaker 2: store with. You know, a lot of times you go
- 45:34Speaker 2: into a store and they've got an incredible, painting on
- 45:37Speaker 2: the wall they got an incredible something on the it's
- 45:39Speaker 2: it's to decorate the store it's not for sale it's
- 45:41Speaker 2: not what they sell so they may have a good
- 45:44Speaker 2: point there and they said they told her here's the
- 45:47Speaker 2: guy who makes these you can get one from him
- 45:49Speaker 2: but we're not selling this it's part of our store
- 45:51Speaker 2: decoration so i don't know who do you believe there
- 45:54Speaker 2: i kind of believe the store on that because she
- 45:57Speaker 2: offered a lot of money for it but but if
- 46:00Speaker 2: it's really just decor why would they sell it to
- 46:03Speaker 2: her she's So she may be wrong on this one. Now,
- 46:09Speaker 2: Selma Blair, there's no debate here. Yeah, you're just not
- 46:16Speaker 2: supposed to do that on a plane. Not right. Sean
- 46:19Speaker 2: Diddy Combs, taken from a New Jersey prison yesterday to
- 46:23Speaker 2: a hospital for a head injury. He got to the hospital.
- 46:29Speaker 2: He left the prison at 1 a.m. He was back
- 46:31Speaker 2: by 7 a.m. So, I guess it wasn't that serious, but, uh,
- 46:36Speaker 2: some kind of serious, serious head injury, uh, could have
- 46:40Speaker 2: been a fight in prison, could have been, uh, something,
- 46:44Speaker 2: obviously some violence there. Uh, the problem is, uh, it
- 46:49Speaker 2: came out a while, a while ago that he was,
- 46:52Speaker 2: you remember the scene in Goodfellas where the mob guys
- 46:54Speaker 2: are in prison and the guards are bringing them steak
- 46:57Speaker 2: and lobsters and champagne and they're paying off everybody. Well,
- 47:01Speaker 2: it came out that, uh, Diddy was getting that kind
- 47:04Speaker 2: of treatment, that he was getting massages, alcohol, special meals,
- 47:08Speaker 2: regular cleaning of his toilet and shower. He had his
- 47:12Speaker 2: own cell phone. He got all the porn he wanted.
- 47:15Speaker 2: So when that came out, apparently they threw him back
- 47:18Speaker 2: into the general population, I guess. And then he comes
- 47:23Speaker 2: out of the hospital with this terrible head injury. But
- 47:27Speaker 2: he's back in prison now. Harry Styles, listen, these people
- 47:36Speaker 2: can't help it. Harry Styles doing a concert, Madison Square Garden,
- 47:42Speaker 2: in the middle of the concert, starts yelling and screaming
- 47:45Speaker 2: about ICE, gives the whole audience a lecture about ICE.
- 47:50Speaker 2: And again, this Oscar, Oscar, poor Oscar. Oscar's the dangerous
- 47:55Speaker 2: criminal who ICE was trying to arrest in New York.
- 47:59Speaker 2: Oscar's a career criminal. He's only been in the country
- 48:01Speaker 2: three years. He's already got a pretty good rap sheet.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Neighbors say he was an awful, evil, menacing, walked around
- 48:07Speaker 2: with a machete threatening them. But this is who Harry
- 48:10Speaker 2: Styles is sticking up for. But it got a cheer
- 48:13Speaker 2: out of the crowd. Harry Styles said, I just want
- 48:18Speaker 2: to take a moment to think about Oscar Belgal tonight. Oscar,
- 48:24Speaker 2: who Ice had to shoot at because, now Mamdani, is
- 48:28Speaker 2: saying he wants to change police procedure. He said, you're
- 48:31Speaker 2: taught never to shoot at a moving vehicle. Yeah, well,
- 48:34Speaker 2: that's true. In the police academy, they'll teach you if
- 48:37Speaker 2: you're trying to stop a guy, a criminal, he gets
- 48:39Speaker 2: into his car and starts to drive away, don't shoot
- 48:42Speaker 2: at a moving vehicle. You might hit somebody. But it
- 48:45Speaker 2: doesn't apply if the vehicle is trying to run you over.
- 48:49Speaker 2: If it's coming right at you, then you can shoot
- 48:51Speaker 2: the vehicle. There's a big difference that Mamdani doesn't seem
- 48:55Speaker 2: to grasp. Stiles, after his little lecture about Oscar, did
- 49:00Speaker 2: get back to playing music, so that's good news. Again,
- 49:05Speaker 2: you're going to hear about this Oscar, Oscar, Oscar all
- 49:08Speaker 2: the time. Here's that chevalier, that crazy kook socialist.
- 49:12Speaker 9: The other thing that really.
- 49:15Speaker 14: Angered me was when Police Commissioner Tisch said, came out.
- 49:21Speaker 14: I understand that it is her role to provide more information,
- 49:24Speaker 14: and that is why she comes to these press conferences.
- 49:27Speaker 14: But rather than condemn ICE, rather than condemn the shooting
- 49:32Speaker 14: or the events that had just taken place, she started
- 49:36Speaker 14: to villainize ICE.
- 49:38Speaker 2: Oscar, right.
- 49:39Speaker 9: Villainize him.
- 49:41Speaker 2: Oscar is literally a villain. He's exactly a villain. She
- 49:45Speaker 2: villainized him because he's a villain. He's a career criminal.
- 49:49Speaker 2: He's got gang affiliations. He's been caught with robbery and
- 49:53Speaker 2: all that stuff. He, as I say, the neighbors say
- 49:56Speaker 2: he was menacing them with a machete. He is a
- 49:58Speaker 2: bad guy. When the police tried to arrest him, he
- 50:01Speaker 2: tried to run them over with his car. That would
- 50:04Speaker 2: be a villain. He would qualify as a villain. by
- 50:07Speaker 2: any rational definition. But they love Oscar. You're going to
- 50:12Speaker 2: hear a lot about this Oscar. You're going to see
- 50:14Speaker 2: Oscar t-shirts. They're going to build Oscar statues. You're going
- 50:19Speaker 2: to have Bruce Springsteen writing a song about Oscar. It's
- 50:22Speaker 2: not going to stop. It's just starting. Hey, we'll take
- 50:25Speaker 2: some calls next. 800-321-0710 is the number.
- 50:26Speaker 16: 800- 3-2-1-0-7-10.
- 50:32Speaker 2: The Mark Simone Show.
- 50:35Speaker 1: Live from the WOR LifeVac Studios.
- 50:41Speaker 2: Hey, a whole bunch of open lines. Call us. 800-321-0710
- 50:44Speaker 2: is the number. If you're a new caller, we want
- 50:49Speaker 2: to hear from you. 800-321-0710. Let's go to Kenneth in
- 50:54Speaker 2: the Bronx. Kenneth, how you doing?
- 50:57Speaker 16: Hey, Paul. How are you?
- 50:58Speaker 11: Good.
- 50:59Speaker 16: Good, good.
- 51:00Speaker 23: Mark, I just wanted to comment and say, you know what?
- 51:02Speaker 23: The only person, only two people who can really save
- 51:05Speaker 23: New York, and New York is a mess with Mondani
- 51:07Speaker 23: along with Hochul. The only two people who can save
- 51:10Speaker 23: New York would be Blakeman and I can't think of
- 51:13Speaker 23: the lady's name again. It's Tish James.
- 51:16Speaker 16: Oh, my gosh.
- 51:16Speaker 23: She obliterated her on the podium.
- 51:20Speaker 16: Oh, my Jesus Christ.
- 51:22Speaker 2: Hey, hey, hey, hey. Watch your language. This is a
- 51:24Speaker 2: family show.
- 51:25Speaker 16: Oh, yeah.
- 51:26Speaker 23: I apologize.
- 51:26Speaker 2: That's okay. That's okay.
- 51:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 51:29Speaker 23: You're absolutely right. Yeah, I'm sorry to cut you off,
- 51:32Speaker 23: and the thing is, too, I know I don't have
- 51:34Speaker 23: much time, but the thing is, I was just thinking,
- 51:36Speaker 23: me and some other guys here can get together here
- 51:39Speaker 23: and just get that vote out for Blakeman, because right
- 51:42Speaker 23: now in New York, listen, you know what, you might
- 51:44Speaker 23: vote for this guy Mondani, and I'll tell you something,
- 51:48Speaker 23: you know what, you got what your hand called for.
- 51:49Speaker 23: All right, but.
- 51:50Speaker 2: It's up to you. You got to get out there
- 51:52Speaker 2: and vote. You got to get your friends and neighbors
- 51:54Speaker 2: to go out there and vote. You make sure everybody
- 51:56Speaker 2: gets out there. to vote, that can do it. So yeah, Blakeman,
- 52:01Speaker 2: obviously you want him to win. The other thing he's
- 52:03Speaker 2: talking about is the attorney general's race. It's a very
- 52:09Speaker 2: strong Republican candidate. She would be a great attorney general.
- 52:12Speaker 2: The problem is nobody can say her name. Nobody can
- 52:15Speaker 2: remember her name. It's like Saritha. Nobody can pronounce, even
- 52:22Speaker 2: she doesn't know what her name is. It can't pronounce
- 52:24Speaker 2: his name. But Just go vote for the Republican for
- 52:27Speaker 2: Attorney General. They had a debate a couple nights ago
- 52:30Speaker 2: on New York One. Problem is what these Democrats do,
- 52:33Speaker 2: they'll only go on New York One because nobody sees it.
- 52:37Speaker 2: It's hardly on anywhere. But she wiped out Letitia James.
- 52:41Speaker 2: She humiliated Letitia James in this debate. It was brutal.
- 52:46Speaker 2: Problem is New York One. Who's going to see it?
- 52:49Speaker 2: But you got to vote for her. The Republican for
- 52:52Speaker 2: Attorney General. Let's go to Angelo in Staten Island. Angelo,
- 52:56Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 52:56Speaker 16: Hey, Mark.
- 52:58Speaker 22: How you doing?
- 52:59Speaker 6: Good.
- 52:59Speaker 22: I have a question. Commercials that you play, do you
- 53:01Speaker 22: guys realize that the one they play about California is
- 53:04Speaker 22: just like, wow, what is that?
- 53:07Speaker 2: Ah, you're right. What the hell is he talking about?
- 53:09Speaker 2: What are you talking about? What commercial?
- 53:11Speaker 22: The commercials on your station.
- 53:13Speaker 2: What commercial specifically are you talking about?
- 53:16Speaker 22: California is the greatest place on the face of the earth.
- 53:20Speaker 2: We have a commercial for California?
- 53:22Speaker 24: Yeah.
- 53:23Speaker 2: I didn't hear it.
- 53:25Speaker 6: Okay.
- 53:26Speaker 22: Well, listen to it.
- 53:27Speaker 12: It's bad.
- 53:28Speaker 2: What's wrong with it?
- 53:28Speaker 16: I can't believe you're on the radio.
- 53:30Speaker 2: What's wrong with it?
- 53:32Speaker 22: It's out in California, and we all know it's insane.
- 53:35Speaker 22: You just said it yourself, out in California.
- 53:36Speaker 2: Oh, I'm talking about if you try to run a
- 53:38Speaker 2: business there. But for a vacation, there's a lot of
- 53:40Speaker 2: great vacation spots in California. If it's a commercial for California,
- 53:43Speaker 2: it's California's, you know, tourist board or chamber of commerce. No,
- 53:47Speaker 2: it's a great place. You can still take a vacation there.
- 53:50Speaker 2: Just don't open a business there. But for a vacation... Great,
- 53:53Speaker 2: great place to go on a vacation. You ever been
- 53:55Speaker 2: to Carmel and all those beautiful places? Many, many, many
- 54:00Speaker 2: parts of California are gorgeous.
- 54:04Speaker 22: Okay.
- 54:04Speaker 16: All right.
- 54:06Speaker 22: Thanks, man.
- 54:07Speaker 12: All right.
- 54:09Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. Oh, it's not even us. It's from the network.
- 54:14Speaker 2: It's a network spot. But, yeah, no, no. I would
- 54:18Speaker 2: visit California. Great place to go on a vacation. People
- 54:21Speaker 2: go there all the time, have a great time. Not
- 54:23Speaker 2: just Los Angeles or San Francisco, but most of California
- 54:28Speaker 2: is very beautiful and scenic. Just don't open a business
- 54:31Speaker 2: there right now. Let's go to Mark in Parsippany. Mark,
- 54:35Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 54:37Speaker 16: Hey, how you doing? All right.
- 54:39Speaker 2: I'm good.
- 54:39Speaker 9: Oh, is this Mark Simone?
- 54:43Speaker 2: Let me check.
- 54:44Speaker 16: Yes, it is.
- 54:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 54:46Speaker 9: Hey, whatever happened.
- 54:48Speaker 2: To Joe Biden here?
- 54:49Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Whatever happened to who?
- 54:52Speaker 18: Uh michael savage he used to be on the radio oh.
- 54:58Speaker 2: Michael savage yeah michael savage he was quite the popular
- 55:02Speaker 2: talk show host about uh i don't know 15 years
- 55:05Speaker 2: ago 20 years ago he was a big guy he
- 55:08Speaker 2: was on wor he was here every night like six
- 55:11Speaker 2: to nine the savage nation remember that it was a
- 55:14Speaker 2: big show for many, many, many years. A little crazy
- 55:20Speaker 2: off the air, that guy. I mean, not in a
- 55:21Speaker 2: bad way. He's a nice guy, but a brilliant guy,
- 55:24Speaker 2: brilliant show. And it was on WOR for many years.
- 55:28Speaker 2: He stepped down from The Daily Show. He stopped doing it.
- 55:32Speaker 2: He does a podcast. You can go online and find
- 55:34Speaker 2: his podcast. You can listen to that. President Trump is
- 55:38Speaker 2: a fan. In fact, President Trump invited him to dinner
- 55:43Speaker 2: at Bedminster. I think if you go online, you can
- 55:47Speaker 2: find the videos of Savage. It's not long ago, like
- 55:49Speaker 2: a month ago, he had dinner with President Trump. But
- 55:52Speaker 2: you can get his podcast. I think it's a once-a-week
- 55:55Speaker 2: kind of deal. Let's go to Harold in Warwick. Harold,
- 55:59Speaker 2: how are you doing? Hi, Mark.
- 56:02Speaker 24: Hopefully Blakeman makes it. I think he's really going to
- 56:07Speaker 24: do very well. But I met someone running in the
- 56:12Speaker 24: 75th District in New York City the other night. I
- 56:14Speaker 24: went to a fundraiser.
- 56:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 56:16Speaker 24: Which is a district in Midtown, Westside, Hell's Kitchen and
- 56:21Speaker 24: those areas. Christina Fontanelli, the opera singer. She's an amazing woman.
- 56:27Speaker 2: She's okay. But you got some good Republicans running. You
- 56:33Speaker 2: got also Caroline Schinkel in, I forget what district that is. It's,
- 56:42Speaker 2: I forget. But it doesn't matter. It's the Jerry Nadler district.
- 56:45Speaker 2: It's the Upper West Side, Upper East Side. Caroline Schinkel,
- 56:47Speaker 2: you want to vote for her. Most importantly, vote for Blakeman.
- 56:50Speaker 2: Most important thing is vote for this Attorney General, the
- 56:55Speaker 2: Republican candidate, because it's like Sarita Khatamedi. Nobody can say
- 56:59Speaker 2: the name, but when you see a name you can't
- 57:02Speaker 2: figure out, that's her. Republican candidate, Attorney General. She'd be phenomenal.
- 57:06Speaker 2: You got to get Letitia James out of there. That's
- 57:08Speaker 2: the most important thing. Hey, when we come back, the
- 57:12Speaker 2: great entertainment reporter, Roger Friedman. Lots to talk to him about,
- 57:16Speaker 2: and we'll get to that next on 710WOR.
- 57:20Speaker 1: What's better than two hours of Mark Simone?
- 57:23Speaker 11: Three.
- 57:24Speaker 1: The Mark Simone Show. Now nine till noon weekdays.
- 57:30Speaker 6: 710WOR.
- 57:32Speaker 2: Well, Roger Friedman, the great entertainment reporter, his website is showbiz411. com.
- 57:39Speaker 2: All kinds of news stories every day. Showbiz411. com. Roger Friedman,
- 57:44Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 57:46Speaker 25: Well, are you up to the news that's been going
- 57:48Speaker 25: on this morning from the White House?
- 57:51Speaker 2: Kimberly Guilfoyle resigning?
- 57:54Speaker 9: Well, she was asked to resign.
- 57:56Speaker 2: Well, she will by the end of the day.
- 57:59Speaker 25: And the new press secretary, Katie Zachariah, is getting a
- 58:03Speaker 25: lot of notice.
- 58:06Speaker 2: Yeah, she was very good.
- 58:07Speaker 9: She's kept it short.
- 58:08Speaker 2: Look good.
- 58:08Speaker 9: No, even, even the one house.
- 58:11Speaker 2: So we don't, we don't, we don't get into these
- 58:13Speaker 2: left wing, uh, attacks, these kooks.
- 58:16Speaker 9: We don't, I'm not attacking her.
- 58:18Speaker 2: She was fine.
- 58:19Speaker 9: I want her to stay.
- 58:20Speaker 2: She was fine. Everybody was happy. Everybody was happy with her.
- 58:23Speaker 25: I want her, I want her to stay and, and
- 58:25Speaker 25: we can enjoy her time together.
- 58:27Speaker 2: Oh, good.
- 58:29Speaker 9: Um, I'm waiting for, yeah.
- 58:32Speaker 2: Tell me about Selma Blair.
- 58:34Speaker 9: Um, Oh, poor Selma Blair.
- 58:37Speaker 25: You know, she has multiple sclerosis. And she's really been
- 58:40Speaker 25: suffering for years.
- 58:42Speaker 2: And I don't know.
- 58:43Speaker 25: She's had all kinds of medications and procedures and all
- 58:49Speaker 25: kinds of things to keep her going.
- 58:51Speaker 9: And she's a mess. And it's like torture.
- 58:55Speaker 25: And then she's on a plane and she's drinking, of course,
- 58:58Speaker 25: because you're nervous about flying. So you have a couple
- 59:01Speaker 25: of drinks and the drinks interact with the medicine from
- 59:03Speaker 25: the MS, and suddenly she's biting people, and it's crazy.
- 59:09Speaker 25: I mean, she obviously shouldn't be allowed on a plane anymore.
- 59:12Speaker 2: You think that simply drinking and pills, it could cause us,
- 59:15Speaker 2: you know, you could pass out, you could do, could
- 59:18Speaker 2: it make you do this? Can it really cause that?
- 59:24Speaker 25: Yeah, I guess it can. I mean, I don't know.
- 59:29Speaker 25: We don't have MS, and it's a serious thing. We're
- 59:32Speaker 25: laughing about it, but it's very serious, and it's very painful,
- 59:36Speaker 25: and God knows what's done.
- 59:37Speaker 9: To her brain.
- 59:38Speaker 25: And she's constantly announcing that she's in remission and trying
- 59:42Speaker 25: to get work.
- 59:43Speaker 9: But can you imagine living like that? It's terrible.
- 59:46Speaker 25: So there are not going to be any serious penalties
- 59:49Speaker 25: for it. I mean, she'll apologize. She'll pay some little fine.
- 59:53Speaker 25: But it was a slow news day yesterday. So when
- 59:57Speaker 25: this happened, it became the main story everywhere. But it's
- 1:00:01Speaker 25: a ridiculous story, and it's sad. You have to have
- 1:00:04Speaker 25: some empathy for these people.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: I know, but if you're a famous person, you get
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: in a fight at the airport, and you yell at somebody,
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: somebody records the video, it goes viral. But if you
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: bite somebody, and she punched the stewardess so hard, send
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: her to the hospital.
- 1:00:16Speaker 9: Maybe she was hungry.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: But the stewardess ended up in the hospital, the flight attendant.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: This was bad.
- 1:00:23Speaker 9: It's bad.
- 1:00:24Speaker 25: It's bad, but you've got to have some empathy for her.
- 1:00:28Speaker 25: Like I said, she'll pay some fines, and she's not
- 1:00:32Speaker 25: going to jail, obviously. It's amazing that she's still alive,
- 1:00:36Speaker 25: to tell you the truth. God knows what she's doing
- 1:00:39Speaker 25: to keep that up. I've met her a few times.
- 1:00:45Speaker 25: She's always been a nice person. This thing is a
- 1:00:49Speaker 25: terrible curveball for anybody who gets it.
- 1:00:52Speaker 9: So I can't be too critical.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: The multiple sclerosis ward at the hospital, you'll never hear.
- 1:00:57Speaker 9: You might.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:01:02Speaker 16: I don't know.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: We've got to talk to some doctors.
- 1:01:06Speaker 25: But that's a good audio for a good horror movie.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: Yeah, actually, it's the shower scene in Psycho.
- 1:01:15Speaker 16: Is it?
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: No, that's her. That's her on the plane.
- 1:01:19Speaker 25: It might be the sound Katie Zachariah is going to
- 1:01:21Speaker 25: make at the White House podium tomorrow.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm afraid you left-wingers aren't going to get very
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: far with that.
- 1:01:28Speaker 25: No, it's not a left-winger, right-wing thing. This girl was hysterical.
- 1:01:32Speaker 25: She reminded me of Lonnie Anderson in the first episode
- 1:01:36Speaker 25: of WKRP.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: It'd never be as bad as Jen Psaki. That was
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: the worst, but... She wasn't good either. The really dumb one,
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: the real stupid one. Who was that? What was her name?
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Kareem Jean-Pierre.
- 1:01:46Speaker 9: Sean Spicer.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: No, Kareem Jean-Pierre. No, Spicer's a great– people pay Spicer
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: a fortune for advice. Do they? The dumb one. Kareem Jean-Pierre,
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: whatever her name was.
- 1:02:00Speaker 8: No, no, no.
- 1:02:00Speaker 9: McDonaghy.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: No, Kareem– it was nice, but IQ like 80 maybe.
- 1:02:06Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: Anyway, let's get back.
- 1:02:10Speaker 9: To Tom Cruise.
- 1:02:12Speaker 25: Digger is being pulled out of theaters. If you want
- 1:02:15Speaker 25: to see it, you better see it in a couple
- 1:02:16Speaker 25: of days.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: Also, why did The Social Reckoning, this big new movie,
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: why did that not do so well?
- 1:02:26Speaker 25: Social Reckoning is a problem. There's no reason for it.
- 1:02:30Speaker 25: There's no reason for the movie. It's not a sequel
- 1:02:33Speaker 25: to The Social Network. It has nothing to do with
- 1:02:35Speaker 25: The Social Network, which was a hit movie. They sort
- 1:02:39Speaker 25: of marketed it that way. And in the movie, The
- 1:02:44Speaker 25: Social Reckoning, a lot of leaps of logic are made.
- 1:02:48Speaker 25: One of them is that Facebook somehow caused January 6th
- 1:02:51Speaker 25: to happen, which by the time they get to this
- 1:02:54Speaker 25: in the movie, you're like, come on, really? So there's
- 1:02:59Speaker 25: a lot of logic that's missing from the film. And
- 1:03:02Speaker 25: it's supposed to be like a procedural, like, you know,
- 1:03:04Speaker 25: Spotlight was a great movie about the priest's, and the
- 1:03:08Speaker 25: sexual abuse, and there's a big gotcha moment where they
- 1:03:10Speaker 25: reveal everything. You've got to have a big gotcha moment
- 1:03:14Speaker 25: in a procedural, or it's not going to work. And
- 1:03:16Speaker 25: there's no moment like that in this movie. It's just
- 1:03:20Speaker 25: a very talky movie. It's Jeremy Allen White and Mikey Madison,
- 1:03:24Speaker 25: who are very nice, talking to each other and making
- 1:03:27Speaker 25: a big deal out of the fact that Facebook has
- 1:03:29Speaker 25: no ethics.
- 1:03:30Speaker 9: Well, surprise!
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: We know that.
- 1:03:33Speaker 25: We didn't know that when the social network came out.
- 1:03:35Speaker 25: It was new then. But now we've lived with it
- 1:03:38Speaker 25: for a long time, so we know what the story is.
- 1:03:41Speaker 25: And just the fact that you're revealing that is not
- 1:03:43Speaker 25: the foundation for a whole movie. So there's not much
- 1:03:47Speaker 25: going on in this movie. And by the time it
- 1:03:50Speaker 25: gets to the end, and they're sort of blaming Mark Zuckerberg,
- 1:03:53Speaker 25: who's not a very sympathetic character in real life, sort
- 1:03:56Speaker 25: of comes off.
- 1:03:57Speaker 9: Sympathetically in the movie, because.
- 1:04:00Speaker 25: He's being blamed for January 6th rioting at the Capitol. Well,
- 1:04:05Speaker 25: I mean, a lot of people are to blame for that,
- 1:04:07Speaker 25: and he's not alone. So I don't think you can
- 1:04:10Speaker 25: really put it on his shoulders. All the social media
- 1:04:14Speaker 25: platforms were buzzing with people encouraging the insurrection on January 6th.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: Well, there was no insurrection there.
- 1:04:24Speaker 16: No, no.
- 1:04:24Speaker 9: It was like a party that went wrong.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: No, but if you read the 2,400 charges, and they
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: hit everybody with everything, nobody was charged with insurrection.
- 1:04:33Speaker 8: Nobody.
- 1:04:33Speaker 23: Okay.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: Trespassing, criminal.
- 1:04:35Speaker 9: It was just a bad time.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: No, they were charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct, disruption of
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: a government function. You could have charged somebody with an erection,
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: and they decided nobody.
- 1:04:46Speaker 9: Well, there was. All right. Let's say I like that
- 1:04:48Speaker 9: disruption of government function.
- 1:04:50Speaker 16: I like that.
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: It was the worst trespassing incident probably of our lifetime.
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:04:56Speaker 16: So. Yeah.
- 1:04:58Speaker 23: All right.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: Hey, regardless.
- 1:05:01Speaker 9: But regardless, it wasn't I'm not defending.
- 1:05:05Speaker 25: I feel like I'm defending Facebook, but there's no you
- 1:05:08Speaker 25: can't just blame one. organization on, on the thing happening.
- 1:05:12Speaker 25: As they always say, you asked me why the social
- 1:05:15Speaker 25: reckoning didn't do well. And I'm saying, yeah, it's because it's,
- 1:05:17Speaker 25: it's unbelievable. That's a good point.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: They always say everything with human behavior is the same
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: as it always was. It just moves to a different medium.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: You know, it, right. In the old days, it would
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: have been messages passed around. Now it's Facebook where people organize, uh,
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: it's the same behavior. Bullying used to be, it's like.
- 1:05:34Speaker 25: When they used to say, you know, violence on TV
- 1:05:37Speaker 25: was making people, you know, crazy and do things. And
- 1:05:41Speaker 25: just because you had an episode of Law & Order,
- 1:05:43Speaker 25: somebody was going to go out and do the same
- 1:05:44Speaker 25: thing that a criminal was going to do. It doesn't work.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: Hey, before we run out of time, is this true
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: that there's AI music, which artificial intelligence created the music,
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: that's actually doing well on the charts?
- 1:05:59Speaker 25: You know, well, it's doing well on the iTunes chart
- 1:06:03Speaker 25: because iTunes is very easy to manipulate. So the AI
- 1:06:09Speaker 25: people have figured out a way to manipulate that chart.
- 1:06:13Speaker 25: But the music's not being played anywhere. And it's not
- 1:06:18Speaker 25: on Spotify. It's not being streamed. But it looks like
- 1:06:21Speaker 25: it's a hit from downloading. So this has become a
- 1:06:26Speaker 25: big problem. And the other problem, you know, we could
- 1:06:28Speaker 25: discuss AI for a whole segment if we wanted to.
- 1:06:32Speaker 25: We have more and more people embracing it because they're
- 1:06:34Speaker 25: afraid of it. Uh, so you have, uh, iTunes is
- 1:06:38Speaker 25: embracing it and you have even, uh, movie people are
- 1:06:42Speaker 25: starting to say, well, we'll mix a movie with some
- 1:06:44Speaker 25: AI in it.
- 1:06:45Speaker 9: This is a big mistake.
- 1:06:48Speaker 25: Uh, I think it's going to come back to bite
- 1:06:49Speaker 25: them in the end.
- 1:06:50Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:06:50Speaker 25: But yeah, there's a, right now there's like three or
- 1:06:52Speaker 25: four singles in the top iTunes top 10 that are, uh,
- 1:06:57Speaker 25: all made out of nothing made out of fiction.
- 1:06:59Speaker 9: They're, they're a computerized, but it's a dream singer. There's
- 1:07:03Speaker 9: no song.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's a dream for a movie company or
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: music company. You don't have to spend any money. You
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: can get it all done on AI.
- 1:07:09Speaker 25: No, and you don't have to be able to play
- 1:07:11Speaker 25: an instrument or act or do anything. You just write
- 1:07:15Speaker 25: in a prompt on your computer and say, please give
- 1:07:17Speaker 25: me this, which is a scary new world, I think.
- 1:07:23Speaker 25: We don't want to have them say, give me a
- 1:07:25Speaker 25: great radio personality in the morning, and they just invent somebody.
- 1:07:30Speaker 9: We can't do that. We have to have the real thing.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: That's true, but if you don't want to spend $ 2
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: million on scenery, you could just have AI do it
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: for you.
- 1:07:38Speaker 9: Do you have $ 2 million in scenery behind you?
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: No, but I'm talking about a movie. Do you know
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: how much money they would save? You don't need to
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: hire 1,000 extras. You don't need to build all these sets.
- 1:07:49Speaker 25: No, but then Elon Musk says we're living in a simulation,
- 1:07:52Speaker 25: and maybe he's right.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: Yeah, could be.
- 1:07:54Speaker 25: We're just living in a simulation of what used to be.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: No, that could be.
- 1:07:59Speaker 9: That's not good.
- 1:08:00Speaker 16: No.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: You know what?
- 1:08:02Speaker 25: What did Marvin Gaye and Tammy Terrell say? Ain't nothing
- 1:08:05Speaker 25: like the real thing.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: There you go. Now we have to explain to a
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: lot of people who's Marvin Gaye, Tammy Terrell. Half the
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: people working on this floor won't know who those two are.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: But go listen to it.
- 1:08:14Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:08:14Speaker 9: Well, we'll explain it to them later.
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: We're out of time, though. But Roger Friedman, great stuff
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: as always. Everybody go read his website.
- 1:08:20Speaker 9: Great talking to you.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: Showbiz411. com. Showbiz411. com. There's a lot more stories up there, too.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: Roger Friedman, thanks for being with us.
- 1:08:30Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: Take care. Hey, don't forget, Buck and Clay will be
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: here at noon today with a great show. Then at noon,
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: it's the most listened to radio show in America, Sean Hannity.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: Sean's back. He'll be on today at 3 o'clock. And
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: then at 6 o'clock, you've got Jesse Kelly, the very
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: funny Jimmy Fallon, tonight at 9, here on 710WOR. The
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: Mark Simone Show. Mark Simone.
- 1:08:55Speaker 16: On 710WOR.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Well, hey, the fake news is trying to convince all
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: the left-wingers that Katie Zakaria, oh, it was disaster. What
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: a disaster, the first press conference. We'll go over that
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: coming up right after the news. And one more hour
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: to go here on 710WOR.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: What's better than two hours of Marc Simone?
- 1:09:16Speaker 11: Three.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: The Marc Simone Show. Now nine till noon weekdays.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: 710WOR. Hey, it's hour number three. That's right, three hours.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: It's hour number three now. This is very funny. The
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: entire left-wing fake news is going nuts right now. trying
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: to declare Katie Zachariah, the new White House press secretary,
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: a total disaster. It's unbelievable if you watch CNN, MSNBC,
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: whatever the hell they call it. They're all going crazy
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: trying to destroy her. MSNBC, big banner. Katie Zachariah, a
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: train wreck. It was a train wreck. She did her
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: first briefing earlier this morning. It was fine. It was
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: just fine. It was short. She went through all the
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: announcements she had to make, all the news she had
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: to give out. And then she took three questions and
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: then ended the briefing. Now, I would assume it's her
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: first day. I would assume there were two reasons it
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: was short. One, they probably told her, it's your first briefing.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: Keep it short. Just take three questions and get it.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: And I think the other thing was they're going to Alaska.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: The president every day traveling to states to campaign these
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: campaign rallies. Uh, you know, there's Ohio, it was Texas,
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: it was Florida, it was North Carolina, but today it's Alaska.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: That's a hell of a trip. And you got to
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: get there, uh, before prime time. Cause do you want
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: to set up and do the rally? You want it
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: to be in prime time. So you got to get
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: there before the evening. It's a seven hour flight. If
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: they fly fast, six hours, but I think that's why
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: they wrapped it up fast. They want to get to Alaska.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: She's going to be traveling with the president on these trips. Um,
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: Here's another one. This is this crazy, uh, MSNBC White
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: House official sources. They always have these sources you never
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: heard of. Uh, Zachariah could beat Scaramucci's record. Scaramucci is
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: considered the worst ever. He was fired like in 11 days.
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: Could beat her record. Well, it wasn't bad. It was
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: just fine. And then the crazy left-wing kook sites like, uh, Mediaite, uh,
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: printing all this stuff about, uh, it was bizarre. Who
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: do they quote? Oh, Caitlin Collins. You're like, you're going
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: to trust her on anything. It was bizarre. She violated
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: the hatch act. She was talking about the president doing
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: these rallies, giving out the schedule. Uh, first of all,
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: the president, you can't violate the hatch act with the president.
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: He's not a candidate. He will never be a candidate
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: ever again for anything. He's not running. So, And it's perfectly...
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: It's typical fake news stuff. Whatever was standard procedure for
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: the Democrats, as soon as a Republican does it, it's
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: a crime. It's violating the Hatch Act. It's disgusting. It's
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: a scandal. Same thing every president does. But here's an
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: MSNOW panel roasting Katie Zachariah. They're going to try to
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: destroy her by... It's not going to work. The left-wing
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: kooks aren't going to convince anybody of anything.
- 1:12:31Speaker 16: I mean.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: Who was her name? Karine Jean-Pierre. That had to be
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: the silliest, goofiest, dumbest White House press secretary in history.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: They never said a word about her. They thought she
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: was wonderful. And that Jen Psaki, how many times did
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: she get caught lying? Just that sour, nasty one. So
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: you're going to hear this for a couple of days now.
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: They're trying to convince you that it's a train wreck.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: That's the big banner they're putting up on CNN. It's
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: a train wreck, Katie Zachariah. The big news today, she
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: announced that Kimberly Guilfoyle has been asked to resign, which
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: means she's fired. She's out. She's been asked to resign,
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: and if she doesn't do it by the end of
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: the day, they'll remove her. So Kimberly Guilfoyle is out, gone.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: So if you're a left-wing fake news reader, viewer, this
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: is all you're going to hear about for a couple
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: of days. Katie Zachariah and Kimberly Guilfoyle. You're going to
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: keep hearing about this. Chuck Grassley, the senator, he's 93.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: Grassley is 93. He just announced he's running for re-election. Now,
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: if you're in the Senate, that's an eight-year term. He'll
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: be 101 at the end of the term. That is
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: one optimistic guy. 93, and he's running again. He'll be
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: 101 at the end of the term. He's in pretty
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: good shape. He seems alert. But that's a lot of
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: nerve to be running at 93. There's got to be
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: some kind of age limit on this. Even if you're
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: in great shape, 93, how long are you going to last?
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: How long is he going to be in great shape?
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: I don't know. It's time to do something about this.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: The raid on Ilhan Omar's house was great. Now the
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: left wing all up in arms. This is fascism. They're
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: used to saying it's fat. They raided Ilhan Omar's house. Well,
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: a federal judge saw enough evidence to issue the warrant.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: And everybody's online passing around these clips. One is Colbert.
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: Remember when they raided Mar-a-Lago, it was Stephen Colbert saying,
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: it's the greatest Christmas present ever. Let's celebrate the raid
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: of Mar-a-Lago. They all thought it was the greatest thing ever.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: But again, whatever is standard procedure for a Democrat, soon
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: as a Republican does it, it's a crime. It's the
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: worst thing in the world. And by the way, once again,
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: the investigation into Ilhan Omar, this is a Joe Biden investigation.
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: The Biden administration started it. The Trump administration just allowing
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: it to continue. This started with the U.S. attorney under
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: Joe Biden who began this investigation. So it's really a
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: Biden investigation. President Trump on Omar. How about Ilhan Omar?
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: She comes from Somalia. All they have is crime and squalor.
- 1:15:29Speaker 10: And she comes into our country and she says, my
- 1:15:32Speaker 10: constitution allows me.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: She's talking about our constitution.
- 1:15:37Speaker 10: What they've done to Minnesota, these people from Somalia, what
- 1:15:40Speaker 10: they've done to Minnesota should never be allowed.
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: Good point. Hey, once again, I want to remind you,
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: tonight is the big debate. It's the governor's debate. It's
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: Hochul versus Bruce Blakeman. It's at 7 o'clock tonight. Hochul
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: refused to debate on any real news stations, on any
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: real networks, on any real TV stations. She only agreed
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: to debate on New York One because it's a little
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: tiny station that nobody sees. And it's only on one
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: cable system out of the four or five we have
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: in New York City. Most people can't even get New
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: York One. It has very few viewers. It's also very biased,
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: very left-wing, including the moderator. So that's the reason. Hochul
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: will only do it on New York One. She turned
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: down Channel 2, Channel 4, Channel 5, Channel 7. She
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: turned down everybody. So it's tonight, 7 o'clock, and most
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: people don't have New York One, but I think you
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: can go to their website. They'll probably stream it live.
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: It should be streaming live at YouTube or somewhere, but
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: it's tonight, 7 o'clock. It's Bruce Blakeman, Kathy Hochul. This
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: could be disaster for Hochul, although she's not bad when
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: she's prepared I assume she'll be very prepared for tonight
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: hey that crazy bitter old Hillary Clinton believe it or
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: not has been on the campaign trail who the hell
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: would want that woman campaigning for them but there she
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: was in Nebraska on Saturday speaking to Democrats and she
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: said if you look back on the last 25 years
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: in our country she said we went through terrible terrible
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: trauma and crisis in the last 25 years She talked
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: about 9-11. She talked about the financial crisis, the crash
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: of 2008, the horror of that. And then she also,
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: the other one she said was election night 2016. She
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: put that up with 9-11 in the same breath as 9-11.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: It was a disaster for her, not for the country,
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: but even the Democrats just couldn't believe she put that
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: in there with 9-11. She said she was excited about
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: the Democrats winning in November and argued that the Democrats
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: need to prove that they can produce results for Americans. Yeah, well,
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: that's the problem. You can love the idea of voting
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: for Democrats, but they've never actually reduced prices, reduced gas.
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: You know, when they get in, you get bigger inflation.
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: You get much higher gas prices. The economy doesn't do
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: so well under Democrats. Wages... don't do so well under Democrats.
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: Even under Obama and Biden, wages were lower than under Trump.
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: Income inequality was greater under Biden. So for all that talk,
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: they don't actually deliver much. That's the problem. That's why
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: you don't see ads about that. That's why instead they
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: make up things like tax cuts for billionaires. There were
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: never any tax cuts for billionaires. You look at the
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: Trump tax bill, the vast majority went to lower and
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: middle income people, not the billionaires. But it sounds good.
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: They come up with the right bumper stickers, and that's
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: how they campaign. So, you know, there's an AMC movie theater.
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: It's in Kips Bay. It's like 30th and 2nd. It's
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: a beautiful AMC theater. Been there for a million years. Well,
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: NYU Langone has bought it, the whole property. It's a
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: huge property. And they're going to tear down the movie theater.
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: They're going to build a state-of-the-art, magnificent hospital. You'd think
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: you'd want that in your neighborhood. But all hell broke loose. Petitions, picketing.
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: They don't want this hospital. They want to save the
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: movie theater. First of all, these movie theaters are all dying.
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: Most people are watching movies at home now. But NYU
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: Langone is pointing out that it was actually the property owners.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: It's a movie theater supermarket. It's a big, big piece
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: of property. The owners of the property came to them
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: and tried to get them to buy it. They brought
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: them in. They want to sell. And who could blame them?
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: What's the future of a movie theater now? So it
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: all started with the property owners. The residents of Kip
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: Bay say they should have a say in the future
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: of their neighborhood. They want the movie theater. They want
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: the supermarket. But, NYU Langone pointing out there are dozens
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: of other movie theaters in Manhattan, including two AMCs within
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: a mile radius. Well, if that's true, that's a pretty
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: good point. Movie lovers argue the Kips Bay location is
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: the only one that supports IMAX. Well, you know, you
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: could live without a little IMAX. I'd rather have a
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: big hospital right there than IMAX. You know, the president's
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: trying to build, there's a big piece of government land
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: in dc he wants to build a uh it's a
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: historic golf course he wants to build like a new
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: state-of-the-art golf course like one of the greatest in the
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: world he's pretty good at that but there's a federal
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: judge who was appointed by biden who's trying to go
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: after trump for anything and everything you know if he
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: wanted to you got the greatest golf course builder In
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: the White House right now, you got a rundown, broken
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: down old golf course. He wants to fix it up.
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: What's the problem? Well, he's Trump. So she's trying to
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: block him, stop him. Pretty fiery hearing in court. She
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: like started screaming, this federal judge, at the Trump lawyer.
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: She's yelling at them. You've lost all credibility. You're not
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: supposed to do that if you're the judge. In fact,
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: this is not the first time she's been reprimanded before
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: for behavior. Uh, and it was about removing trees. Obviously
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: you're going to redo the whole golf course. You might
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: have to move some trees. So she's trying to block
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: them over moving trees. This is an emergency hearing. The
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: golf course is on the East Potomac, uh, on the
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: Potomac river. Uh, the judge was appointed by Biden, uh,
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: previously got too rough with a Trump attorney during a
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: litigation and was sanctioned for that. Uh, So it's not
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: the first time. You have these crazy, out-of-control judges. It's
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: just awful. If you're dating a woman, or you want to,
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: and you finally invite her back to your house or
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: your apartment, be very careful. New study shows that 50%
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: have lost interest because they saw the date's place. Now,
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: there's something wrong with it. They're not going to go
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: out with you. 83% said the Number one problem was
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: the cleanliness or clutter. If they see a lot of
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: clutter or it's not too clean or the odor or something,
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: then that's it. They're not going to date you. So, yeah,
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: they've actually cut it off because of that. Now, the
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: other red flags include they don't want to see security
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: cameras around, especially near your bedroom. A missing toilet seat.
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: Missing toilet paper. That's another one that many in the
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: survey said would be reason to stop dating that person.
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: They said the bathroom was the number one room, they check.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: Now the flip side is a great home can be
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: a selling point. 38%, they became more attractive if the
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: guy's got a great space, it's really clean, really nice.
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: Clean bathroom stocked with hand towels, that's big, that's important.
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: Comfortable seating for guests, that's something they look at, that
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: means you probably got a lot of friends. They want
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: it to look lived in rather than staged. Number one
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: preference is warm, traditional style. They like neutral, natural accents.
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: So before you bring anybody over, clean up, fix the
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: bathroom up, and make sure the decor is just right. Hey,
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: we'll take some calls next. 800-321-0710 is the number.
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: 800-321-0710.
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: I want to hear from some new callers, too. 800-321-0710.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: Live from the WOR LifeVac studios, the Mark Simone Show.
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: Well, let's take some calls. Let's go to Ed in
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: Rockland County. Ed, how are you doing?
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: Good morning, Mark.
- 1:24:17Speaker 12: How are you?
- 1:24:17Speaker 16: Good.
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: What do you want to say, Ed?
- 1:24:20Speaker 12: I really enjoyed your conversation with Roger Friedman.
- 1:24:24Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:24:25Speaker 12: Uh, it was a wonderful exchange and banter. Uh, I'm
- 1:24:29Speaker 12: glad that you really, uh, really stopped him with his
- 1:24:33Speaker 12: political nonsense, but I enjoyed it. I really enjoyed it.
- 1:24:38Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:24:39Speaker 12: Well, uh, I don't think you should call up and
- 1:24:43Speaker 12: be political, but that's only my opinion.
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: Oh, no, he's not political. He just slips once in
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: a while. Never argue with these left-wingers. Just change the subject.
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: Talk about something else. Let's go to Phil in New Milford. Phil,
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: how are you doing?
- 1:24:59Speaker 16: Hi, how are you?
- 1:25:00Speaker 8: Good. Mark, I do have a, you know, I was
- 1:25:03Speaker 8: watching a video about Justin Murphy debating with Cory Booker.
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: I was so.
- 1:25:08Speaker 8: Impressed with Justin Murphy. He served in the Navy. He
- 1:25:14Speaker 8: was in the Gulf of Camus. And he's from the
- 1:25:18Speaker 8: Pine Barrens of all places, you know, the woodlands in
- 1:25:21Speaker 8: New Jersey. And he is so formidable in his discussion,
- 1:25:25Speaker 8: his ability to stress the conservative points of view.
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: That sounds good. Everybody should go vote for him. Now,
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: I also remember, It's easy to sound brilliant when you're
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: next to Cory Booker, but I'm sure he is pretty smart.
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: This Cory Booker, it's an amazing case. This Cory Booker,
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: nice guy, but not very bright. He's convinced himself that
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: he's Barack Obama. He's like an incredible orator. He's got
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: like 75 fewer IQ points than Obama, but don't tell
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: him that. He doesn't know. Let's go to Dennis in
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: Long Island. Dennis, how are you doing?
- 1:26:04Speaker 9: I'm doing well, Mark.
- 1:26:05Speaker 16: Good morning.
- 1:26:06Speaker 19: It's just a follow-up call on the Roger Freeman interview.
- 1:26:09Speaker 12: I just want to congratulate you on the way you
- 1:26:12Speaker 12: handled it.
- 1:26:12Speaker 16: It was well said and well spoken.
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: Don't pick on Roger. He's a nice guy. Let's go
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: to Donald in Yonkers. Donald, how are you doing?
- 1:26:21Speaker 16: Hey, how's it going, Mark? Good.
- 1:26:24Speaker 7: All right, listen, a while back there you had a
- 1:26:26Speaker 7: thing going with the bidets and the dummy, and then
- 1:26:29Speaker 7: I called up and you kind of abused me, but
- 1:26:31Speaker 7: now we're talking about bathrooms with nice bidets and this
- 1:26:34Speaker 7: and that.
- 1:26:34Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 1:26:35Speaker 7: Wouldn't it be nice to have a heated seat and
- 1:26:36Speaker 7: all these options to show a nice classy lady how
- 1:26:39Speaker 7: you live?
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: Well, if you want. I don't like that kind of stuff.
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: You know, some people get this heated toilet, this, that,
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: the heated. It's just another thing that's going to break.
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: Keep it simple. You don't want anything that's going to break.
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: But women, they love the heated seat. They love the
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: heated floor, the heated this, the heated towel rack. It's
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: just more stuff that's going to break. Let's go to
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: Bill in Idaho. Bill, how are you doing? Hey, hello, Mark.
- 1:27:05Speaker 16: How are you?
- 1:27:07Speaker 3: Good.
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: You sound like you're inside a sofa. You're all muffled.
- 1:27:12Speaker 18: Oh, I'm sorry.
- 1:27:14Speaker 8: I don't want to wake the potatoes out here.
- 1:27:16Speaker 18: I've been talking to you on the phone for 40 years.
- 1:27:21Speaker 24: Uh-huh.
- 1:27:22Speaker 26: And, uh, back in the day when I was living
- 1:27:25Speaker 26: in Greenwich village, selling spots and 41, and you were
- 1:27:29Speaker 26: probably about 18 and living with and working with, uh,
- 1:27:32Speaker 26: Steve Allen and Jonathan Schwartz.
- 1:27:34Speaker 16: Oh yeah.
- 1:27:35Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:27:36Speaker 16: Okay.
- 1:27:37Speaker 18: Now I asked you a trivia question back then, and
- 1:27:41Speaker 18: you were the only go ahead.
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: What's the question? What's the question?
- 1:27:45Speaker 18: Okay, the question was, who is the famous ventriloquist who
- 1:27:48Speaker 18: invented a mechanical implantable device?
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: Paul Mahoney. Who is the device? Paul Mahoney. That was
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: a big thing back in the 50s, ventriloquists. It was
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy. Then it was Paul Winchell.
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: Paul Winchell and Jerry Mahoney was the dummy. I don't
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: know why, but nobody wants to see a ventriloquist anymore.
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: But back then, it was a big deal. And Paul Winchell,
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: Jerry Mahoney had his own television show and doing commercials
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: for Nestle's Quick. Remember that? Yeah, it was a big start.
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: And then all of a sudden, you didn't see much anymore.
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: People said, oh, what happened to the guy? He lost
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: his whole career. Now, actually, he invented the heart valve.
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: He invented something and made like $ 6 billion off it.
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: Who knew that this ventriloquist was such a medical invention? genius?
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: And as soon as that happened, everybody in show business,
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: every singer, every comedian, immediately tried to invent something. They
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: all wanted to make billions like Paul Winchell did. Of course,
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: they weren't able to do it, but everybody was trying
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: to invent everything. Let's go to Vincent in Brooklyn. Vincent,
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: how are you doing?
- 1:29:01Speaker 6: I'm okay, Mark. It seems like everybody wants to dump
- 1:29:04Speaker 6: on Roger Friedman today. I'm not going to dump on him,
- 1:29:07Speaker 6: but he forgot to mention that on January 6th. With
- 1:29:14Speaker 6: the demonstrators, I'm not even going to call them protesters today.
- 1:29:18Speaker 6: who supported Donald Trump and who thought the election was stolen,
- 1:29:22Speaker 6: which I firmly believe it was. There were 250 plainclothes
- 1:29:27Speaker 6: FBI agent agitators in with the Trump supporters. No, I'm
- 1:29:35Speaker 6: not dumping on him.
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: Don't worry about it. These left-wing guys.
- 1:29:39Speaker 16: No, I don't.
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: I know, but he's a showbiz guy. He's a Broadway guy.
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: They're all like that. They all think that stuff.
- 1:29:44Speaker 16: It's not even worth arguing.
- 1:29:46Speaker 6: I don't really, I don't care.
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: No, I understand, but it's not even worth debating.
- 1:29:51Speaker 6: I just forgot to mention that. Here's one thing I
- 1:29:54Speaker 6: wanted to say. Didn't the Supreme Court say that these
- 1:29:58Speaker 6: lower court judges have to stop bringing lawsuits against Donald
- 1:30:04Speaker 6: Trump if he throws a package of bubble gum on
- 1:30:07Speaker 6: the floor?
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: Yeah, no, but I'm just telling you, don't even argue
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: with them. You know, you could show them all the facts,
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: all the real stuff. The next day they'll be.
- 1:30:15Speaker 16: Right back with what they're saying.
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: Mark, I'm talking about didn't the Supreme Court judges come
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: down and say.
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. But don't ever argue. It's like arguing
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: with a Kennedy conspiracy nut. You can't argue. Nothing's going
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: to convince him of anything. You're just wasting your breath.
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: But Vincent, thanks for calling.
- 1:30:33Speaker 16: Thank you very much.
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: Thanks. Great as always. Your left-wing friends, just yes them
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: to death. Change the subject. There's nothing you can say.
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: No document you can show them. Nothing you can get
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: that's going to change anything. So, yeah, President Trump about
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: to leave for Alaska right now. What a job. He's
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: got to fly to Alaska, do a three-hour rally, and
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: then fly back to the White. This is all in
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: one afternoon. That's a lot of work. Anyway, when we
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: come back, Bill O'Reilly will be with us next. Lots
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: to talk to him about. Coming up on 710WOR. Now,
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: much more Mark.
- 1:31:08Speaker 16: Mark Simone.
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: On 710WOR. Thank you, Shadow Stevens. Well, with us right now,
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: the great Bill O'Reilly, the number one TV anchor for decades,
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: the number one bestselling nonfiction author on earth. And he's
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: got a new book out that's already a bestseller. It's
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: a fascinating book called Confronting America. You should order this
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: book immediately. Bill O'Reilly's new book. Also, make sure you
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: check out his podcast. We'll do it live. His YouTube channel.
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: You can get everything at BillOReilly.com. Just go there, BillOReilly.com.
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly, how you doing?
- 1:31:47Speaker 16: Busy morning. Lots of stuff going on, that's for sure.
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: Did you watch Katie Zachariah, the first briefing that she
- 1:31:53Speaker 2: gave this morning?
- 1:31:55Speaker 16: Yeah, I watched.
- 1:31:57Speaker 2: A little shaky?
- 1:31:58Speaker 16: You know, I think we have to give the woman
- 1:32:00Speaker 16: a break. Big forum. She doesn't have any experience. She
- 1:32:06Speaker 16: read off a page. took a couple of questions. I,
- 1:32:11Speaker 16: you know, look, it's the Trump show. So he's on
- 1:32:14Speaker 16: a plane to Alaska. He'll be pressed on the plane.
- 1:32:18Speaker 16: He'll answer all the questions on the plane, which he
- 1:32:22Speaker 16: said that's going to happen. So they were smart to
- 1:32:26Speaker 16: break her in.
- 1:32:29Speaker 8: Slowly.
- 1:32:31Speaker 16: But she basically isn't going to be a decision maker
- 1:32:36Speaker 16: or have the power that many of the other presidential
- 1:32:40Speaker 16: press secretaries had.
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, she was a little nervous. She appeared a
- 1:32:45Speaker 2: little nervous. We'll get over that. But if you watch
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: MSNBC or CNN, they're describing it as train wreck. She'll
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: be the next. She won't last as long as Scaramucci.
- 1:32:54Speaker 2: That's a little ridiculous, isn't it?
- 1:32:56Speaker 16: Of course. But, you know, You know, there comes a
- 1:33:02Speaker 16: point in life where you have to make decisions, Simone.
- 1:33:05Speaker 16: Are you going to watch that? I mean, really?
- 1:33:10Speaker 2: Well, explain it to me. Why do I keep watching it?
- 1:33:13Speaker 16: I mean, you know, you need material for your program.
- 1:33:17Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 1:33:18Speaker 16: I mean, you've been on the air, I think, 48
- 1:33:20Speaker 16: hours straight. I thought it was a Jerry Lewis telethon.
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yesterday.
- 1:33:24Speaker 16: You're sitting in for Hannity. You've got your own show.
- 1:33:26Speaker 16: They're expanding it to eight hours, I understand.
- 1:33:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:33:30Speaker 16: So you need material. I understand that. But why would
- 1:33:34Speaker 16: any human being working for a living outside the media
- 1:33:37Speaker 16: sit there and watch this unbelievable, preposterous garbage coming out
- 1:33:45Speaker 16: of this station?
- 1:33:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:33:47Speaker 16: I don't understand it. And I'm not being facetious, as
- 1:33:51Speaker 16: Joe Biden once said.
- 1:33:53Speaker 6: Okay?
- 1:33:54Speaker 16: I don't understand why anybody would waste their time watching that. Well.
- 1:33:59Speaker 2: If you want to hate Trump, if you want to
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: be a left-wing kook, there's a network or two that
- 1:34:04Speaker 2: they'll feed you with all the stuff you can use.
- 1:34:07Speaker 16: What is that, like heroin? You got to have it
- 1:34:09Speaker 16: every five hours?
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:34:12Speaker 16: All right, I hate Trump. Okay. We all know people
- 1:34:15Speaker 16: who hate Trump. So what do you need? You need
- 1:34:18Speaker 16: to be hating him every hour on the hour? Can
- 1:34:22Speaker 16: I take a break, go to the gym?
- 1:34:24Speaker 6: I mean, come on.
- 1:34:27Speaker 2: So what is that they do? I noticed some of
- 1:34:29Speaker 2: these left-wing, the old lady left-wing trumpeter, they want to
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: talk about it 24 hours a day. They want to
- 1:34:34Speaker 2: make it their number one activity. Why is that?
- 1:34:38Speaker 16: I guess they're bored. They don't have anything else going on.
- 1:34:42Speaker 16: And so, you know, they have a little pack of
- 1:34:47Speaker 16: people and they exchange texts and he's this, he's that.
- 1:34:53Speaker 16: But it's such a waste of time. It just really is.
- 1:34:57Speaker 16: Read my book, Controlling America. You'll learn something in the book.
- 1:35:02Speaker 16: And it's not a Trump book. In fact, he's not
- 1:35:06Speaker 16: in the book very much at all. It's about what
- 1:35:09Speaker 16: we people have to do to straighten the country out.
- 1:35:13Speaker 16: Let me give you a good example. I was just
- 1:35:16Speaker 16: absolutely appalled when I found out over the weekend that
- 1:35:21Speaker 16: That almost 17,000 Homeland Security requests to hold alleged criminal
- 1:35:30Speaker 16: aliens were ignored by Governor Hochul and the New York
- 1:35:34Speaker 16: State apparatus. 17,000. Now, this puts my kids, everybody's kids,
- 1:35:44Speaker 16: everybody themselves in danger. Do you not understand that? Now,
- 1:35:50Speaker 16: I know the open border people don't care. I got it.
- 1:35:55Speaker 16: It's a fringe group. Let everybody in. If they want
- 1:35:58Speaker 16: to commit crimes, we'll let them out, no bail, whatever.
- 1:36:02Speaker 16: I got it. They're loons. They're crazy. But Hochul could
- 1:36:07Speaker 16: win again. And I'm saying, do you have any idea
- 1:36:10Speaker 16: the destructive nature of ignoring Homeland Security's request to hold somebody...
- 1:36:20Speaker 16: So they can pick that person up on alleged criminal charges.
- 1:36:25Speaker 16: And they say no? And that's what Blakeman has got
- 1:36:30Speaker 16: to wail on that tonight. He's got to open, middle,
- 1:36:34Speaker 16: and close on this woman, Kathy Hochul, is putting all
- 1:36:39Speaker 16: of us in danger. Now, a lot of people aren't
- 1:36:42Speaker 16: going to care, I understand. But if Blakeman really wants
- 1:36:47Speaker 16: to get to the core of the matter... That's what
- 1:36:50Speaker 16: he's got to do.
- 1:36:53Speaker 2: Yeah, but a lot of these people, not only don't
- 1:36:56Speaker 2: they want these illegal criminals removed, they think they're heroes.
- 1:37:00Speaker 2: This guy that was shot, Oscar, they keep talking about Oscar.
- 1:37:03Speaker 2: How dare they try to villainize Oscar? Why do they
- 1:37:06Speaker 2: end up making them heroes, these people?
- 1:37:09Speaker 16: Well, that's a neurosis. If you think that guy is
- 1:37:14Speaker 16: a hero, then you need to get into therapy fast.
- 1:37:18Speaker 16: But the state of New York, this guy fled guilty
- 1:37:23Speaker 16: to grand larceny. He was given probation, which means that
- 1:37:30Speaker 16: if you violate your probation, you go to prison. Correct?
- 1:37:34Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:37:35Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:37:36Speaker 16: He violates his probation by getting arrested for selling hard
- 1:37:40Speaker 16: drugs in the Bronx. Does he go to prison?
- 1:37:44Speaker 3: No.
- 1:37:47Speaker 16: Is Darcelle, whatever her name is, up the DA in
- 1:37:51Speaker 16: the Bronx overseeing this case now? Was she screaming and yelling,
- 1:37:55Speaker 16: get this guy back into prison?
- 1:37:57Speaker 6: No.
- 1:37:59Speaker 16: And the criminals know this, not just the migrants, but
- 1:38:03Speaker 16: the regular criminals. They know they can sell their heroin,
- 1:38:07Speaker 16: they can do heinous things, they can beat people up,
- 1:38:10Speaker 16: they can extort people, and nothing will happen to them.
- 1:38:16Speaker 16: And this is the governor you want? This is the
- 1:38:20Speaker 16: person you want running your state? So, if I'm Blakeman,
- 1:38:27Speaker 16: I go to that first, and then I go to
- 1:38:29Speaker 16: the tax... insanity where we're the highest tax state in
- 1:38:34Speaker 16: the union that's pretty hard to beat california and illinois
- 1:38:39Speaker 16: it's really hard but we did it go new.
- 1:38:42Speaker 2: York yeah The only problem, Blakeman will be great, but
- 1:38:46Speaker 2: it's on New York One, which nobody sees. She's turned
- 1:38:49Speaker 2: down debates on all the big issues.
- 1:38:50Speaker 16: Yeah, but it'll get on social media.
- 1:38:52Speaker 2: You think it will?
- 1:38:53Speaker 16: It'll get on social media, yeah. If he waxes her,
- 1:38:57Speaker 16: and this is what Bruce has to do, and he's
- 1:39:01Speaker 16: got to go in and he's got to be a
- 1:39:03Speaker 16: little hostile. Not obnoxious, not threatening, just I've had it.
- 1:39:12Speaker 16: I have had it as a New Yorker. This is insane,
- 1:39:16Speaker 16: and this woman is in charge of the insanity. Not
- 1:39:19Speaker 16: Mam Donnie, not the other nuts up in Albany. This
- 1:39:25Speaker 16: woman's in charge, and you want to give her another
- 1:39:28Speaker 16: four years? That's how I go in. That'll get a
- 1:39:32Speaker 16: lot of attention.
- 1:39:34Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:39:34Speaker 2: Well, that's good. It's tonight, 7 o'clock, New York 1,
- 1:39:38Speaker 2: if anybody. It'll also be streaming online somewhere. Uh, Hey, uh,
- 1:39:42Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly, the podcast. I love it. We'll do it live.
- 1:39:44Speaker 2: You and Geraldo always great together. And, uh, uh, you guys,
- 1:39:50Speaker 2: how long have you guys been fighting like 20 years?
- 1:39:54Speaker 16: Oh, longer than that. Oh my God. Um, you know, I'm,
- 1:39:58Speaker 16: I'm so much better looking than Geraldo that people don't
- 1:40:01Speaker 16: think we're the same age. Um, but it's gotta go
- 1:40:05Speaker 16: back 35 years. But the worthiness of the we'll do
- 1:40:09Speaker 16: it live. And if you go to Bill O'Reilly dot com,
- 1:40:12Speaker 16: you get it free. So I said to her, look,
- 1:40:15Speaker 16: you and I are never going to agree on migration.
- 1:40:17Speaker 16: You'd let them all in. And I'm not letting them
- 1:40:20Speaker 16: all in. OK, it's as simple as that. So we
- 1:40:24Speaker 16: didn't debate that. We debated all of the other issues
- 1:40:29Speaker 16: in the midterms, which is three weeks from today.
- 1:40:33Speaker 3: And.
- 1:40:34Speaker 16: People deserve... And we weren't yelling or hitting each other
- 1:40:38Speaker 16: or doing anything like that. He put forth his point
- 1:40:40Speaker 16: of view. I put forth my point of view. And
- 1:40:43Speaker 16: you can see, you can make your own determination who
- 1:40:46Speaker 16: has a stronger argument. That's what the press should be doing.
- 1:40:51Speaker 16: They don't do it, of course, because there's very few
- 1:40:53Speaker 16: people smart enough on the air to handle a debate
- 1:40:57Speaker 16: like that. Harala's a smart guy. He's not stupid. All right?
- 1:41:01Speaker 16: He just gets very emotional with the... with the immigration stuff.
- 1:41:06Speaker 16: But I recommend everybody watch that debate because it'll be
- 1:41:10Speaker 16: the best debate on the midterms you'll see. And I'll
- 1:41:13Speaker 16: be very interested to see if Blakeman uses the opportunity
- 1:41:17Speaker 16: that he has tonight. You know, because that's pretty much it.
- 1:41:20Speaker 16: He's got to win this and he's got to get
- 1:41:22Speaker 16: attention and he's got to go in very hard or
- 1:41:26Speaker 16: he's not going to win the governorship.
- 1:41:29Speaker 2: Well, it's tonight at 7 o'clock. And everybody make sure
- 1:41:31Speaker 2: you watch Bill O'Reilly's YouTube channel. Look at the Raldo podcast.
- 1:41:37Speaker 2: We'll do it live. And the book is phenomenal, Confronting America.
- 1:41:43Speaker 2: It takes you through so many things that happen in
- 1:41:44Speaker 2: this country and what you have to do to turn
- 1:41:47Speaker 2: it around. It's a great book. And is a new
- 1:41:50Speaker 2: We'll Do It Live coming out?
- 1:41:53Speaker 16: Yeah, we have Stephen A. Oh, good.
- 1:41:57Speaker 2: Stephen A. Smith. Very good.
- 1:41:59Speaker 6: Yep.
- 1:41:59Speaker 16: Stephen A. is Thursday. And then the following Thursday is Roseanne.
- 1:42:07Speaker 2: Roseanne, I like that. Very good.
- 1:42:09Speaker 16: Yeah, we may have to call in the National Guard
- 1:42:12Speaker 16: for Roseanne. I've got them on alert. But I interview,
- 1:42:17Speaker 16: as you know, because you've known me a long time,
- 1:42:20Speaker 16: I interview in a different style than most people do.
