- 1:18Speaker 7: Here, all right, welcome in. It's That Kevin Show.
- 1:26Speaker 3: And we have a great addition for you coming up today.
- 1:31Speaker 3: You know, on the Wednesday edition we sometimes take a
- 1:33Speaker 3: little time out to talk about wellness, and I just
- 1:37Speaker 3: want to point you if you've ever struggled with weight,
- 1:40Speaker 3: if you've ever struggled with losing it or trying to
- 1:43Speaker 3: lose it and it doesn't seem to be able to
- 1:45Speaker 3: come off or anything else, we are going to give
- 1:49Speaker 3: you the solution an hour two that you have been
- 1:51Speaker 3: looking for. You do not want to miss this, please
- 1:55Speaker 3: please please stick around hour two. Doctor Ashley Lucas will
- 1:59Speaker 3: join me, and he has helped more than thirteen thousand
- 2:02Speaker 3: people lose significant amounts of weight. And I'm just coming
- 2:07Speaker 3: off of a conversation last night with one of my
- 2:09Speaker 3: cousins who was actually in the New York Tri state
- 2:11Speaker 3: area to visit just last night, and we were talking
- 2:15Speaker 3: about this very topic. You may know that I have
- 2:19Speaker 3: lost fourteen pounds of my own through my PhD weight
- 2:22Speaker 3: loss just over the last couple of weeks. Myphdweight loss
- 2:26Speaker 3: dot com for more information on how you can do that,
- 2:29Speaker 3: and the phone number if you want to call them
- 2:31Speaker 3: is eight six four six four four nineteen hundred. And
- 2:34Speaker 3: I would encourage you to do it because this has
- 2:36Speaker 3: been the best program I've ever seen work and it's
- 2:39Speaker 3: helped me and I don't feel like I'm suffering or
- 2:42Speaker 3: I'm losing, or I'm missing out on anything in this program,
- 2:45Speaker 3: which is how I felt when I've lost weight with
- 2:47Speaker 3: other processes before. But I just think it's so important
- 2:54Speaker 3: that if you've struggled with your weight, if I've been
- 2:56Speaker 3: one of these people that are like nothing works, please
- 2:59Speaker 3: stick around an hour or two today. We have got
- 3:01Speaker 3: some real help on the way for you, and I
- 3:03Speaker 3: hope that you'll be here for it. I also find
- 3:06Speaker 3: it interesting that in the day after a lot of
- 3:10Speaker 3: elections were held in a lot of states on the
- 3:13Speaker 3: primary side of the equation. And remember the difference that
- 3:17Speaker 3: Kevin always tells you about what it is to have
- 3:21Speaker 3: a primary election and what it is to have a
- 3:24Speaker 3: general election. Primary elections are where people vote for purity.
- 3:30Speaker 3: General elections are where you vote to stop the greatest evil.
- 3:34Speaker 3: And the Democratic Party right now is demonstrating I'm not
- 3:40Speaker 3: saying this as a partisan, I'm being objective. They're objectively
- 3:45Speaker 3: demonstrating a fundamental shift in what they believe and will
- 3:51Speaker 3: accept as a party from anything that's been recognizably the
- 3:55Speaker 3: Democratic Party in generations past. My grand parents, my mom's parents,
- 4:02Speaker 3: and my dad's parents were both in essence, JFK Democrats,
- 4:08Speaker 3: they all thought that the government should be there to
- 4:12Speaker 3: help you some they'd all lived through World War Two.
- 4:14Speaker 3: They saw what FDR did to try to help the
- 4:16Speaker 3: country survive the war. So they didn't have this animus
- 4:21Speaker 3: towards government being overreaching and you know, abusing powers and
- 4:26Speaker 3: so forth. They had. They had a view of government
- 4:29Speaker 3: that was very you know, benevolent, that the government was
- 4:34Speaker 3: there and was helping people in rough times. That changed
- 4:41Speaker 3: around the time of Jimmy Carter for most of them,
- 4:44Speaker 3: and you would hear Ronald Reagan go on to say,
- 4:48Speaker 3: you know, the scariest thing that can be uttered is hello,
- 4:52Speaker 3: we're here from the government, and we're here to help.
- 4:55Speaker 3: One of my grandfathers, who you know eventually changed parties,
- 5:00Speaker 3: came to understand it that that was in fact a
- 5:03Speaker 3: real problem that we didn't want government to involved in things.
- 5:06Speaker 3: But that's not the Democratic Party that we're talking about now.
- 5:10Speaker 3: What we're talking about in these primary elections and the
- 5:17Speaker 3: voters are showing in state after state after state that
- 5:23Speaker 3: what you have here is a socialist Marxist, communist takeover
- 5:29Speaker 3: of the Democratic Party and their ideas which are already
- 5:34Speaker 3: really bad on their face, like subsidizing government grocery stores
- 5:39Speaker 3: in New York that's already running into a buzzsaw with Mamdani.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Mumdani tried to promise free to no cost to low
- 5:46Speaker 3: cost rides for public transportation that went bust. He's bragging
- 5:51Speaker 3: about how he's chasing all of the billionaires out of
- 5:54Speaker 3: his city, but those billionaires pay a good portion of
- 5:57Speaker 3: the tax revenue that the city operates on, so he's
- 6:01Speaker 3: losing the ability to resource his ideas. And yet in
- 6:07Speaker 3: democratic primary after Democratic primary, you have this incredible kind
- 6:12Speaker 3: of turnout for the socialist But let me just add
- 6:16Speaker 3: this caveat, it's only the primary. I'll also add this
- 6:21Speaker 3: caveat to the Republican side. Trump is racking up wins
- 6:25Speaker 3: big time. Maga's doing great in the primary cycle. But
- 6:29Speaker 3: MAGA and the Socialists are kind of two opposite ends
- 6:34Speaker 3: of the spectrum and the middle of the country, which
- 6:39Speaker 3: is where the decision will be made, you know, in
- 6:42Speaker 3: terms of Congress and so forth. They're looking at all
- 6:46Speaker 3: this and their options right now are lean towards MAGA
- 6:52Speaker 3: and be very pro American, be proud of your country,
- 6:58Speaker 3: fight for justice and for equality. And fairness and all
- 7:02Speaker 3: the things that are you know, typical American stuff. Or
- 7:07Speaker 3: vote for the Democrats and vote for the freebies and
- 7:11Speaker 3: the giveaways, and you know, what will you do for me?
- 7:17Speaker 3: Kind of mentality a completely different set of options. Hey,
- 7:21Speaker 3: I've gone on the record to say so about something,
- 7:24Speaker 3: and that is this. And it just happened this morning.
- 7:26Speaker 3: My bride took in my princess's daughter, my only daughter,
- 7:31Speaker 3: to get some back to school medical checkups done, and
- 7:37Speaker 3: I was so pleased lower Copey lab work that was
- 7:43Speaker 3: automatically covered, don't have to submit a whole bunch of stuff,
- 7:48Speaker 3: and hope that the medical sharing medical cost sharing program
- 7:52Speaker 3: that I was part of was gonna in some way
- 7:54Speaker 3: take care of it. It just got taken care of
- 7:58Speaker 3: and I can say that I'm happy about that because
- 8:00Speaker 3: that was not the case just a few months ago.
- 8:03Speaker 3: And it was all because of Vic and his team
- 8:06Speaker 3: at DFW Direct Insurance that helped us get the improved
- 8:10Speaker 3: coverage that we have for lower cost And that's not
- 8:15Speaker 3: like any other advertiser I've ever had before. I'm using
- 8:19Speaker 3: them myself. I love this company. I love what VIC does.
- 8:24Speaker 3: And let me just tell you the math on it.
- 8:26Speaker 3: He saved US four hundred dollars a month in out
- 8:30Speaker 3: of pocket cost for our insurance. That's about five thousand
- 8:36Speaker 3: dollars on the year that we're going to save on
- 8:39Speaker 3: health insurance. And as a result, on the back end,
- 8:44Speaker 3: we're getting more coverage, covering more things than we've ever
- 8:47Speaker 3: had covered before. As a family of five, saved US
- 8:51Speaker 3: four hundred dollars a month, five thousand dollars for the year,
- 8:55Speaker 3: and getting more coverage than we had before. If you're
- 8:58Speaker 3: self employed, if you run a small business, if you're
- 9:01Speaker 3: a family looking for a more cost effective solution to
- 9:03Speaker 3: your health insurance. Maybe just someone who feels like you're
- 9:06Speaker 3: already paying too much and want to investigate your options.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Uh DFW Direct Insurance. They are licensed in all fifty
- 9:12Speaker 3: states and they've been in business since two thousand and nine,
- 9:17Speaker 3: and Vic's been on the show. But I guarantee you
- 9:20Speaker 3: there is not a finer, nicer person in all the universe,
- 9:23Speaker 3: and he's gonna help walk you through the exact solution
- 9:26Speaker 3: that you're looking for. Eight one seven, four four nine
- 9:29Speaker 3: five five five seven eight one seven four four nine
- 9:32Speaker 3: five five five seven call and say hey, Vic keV
- 9:36Speaker 3: said to say hi uh eight one seven, four four
- 9:39Speaker 3: nine five five five seven eight one seven four four nine,
- 9:41Speaker 3: five five five seven call right now, start saving on
- 9:45Speaker 3: your health insurance tomorrow call VIC today eight one seven,
- 9:49Speaker 3: four four nine five five five seven.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Here he is from New York. Ken Kevin McCullough.
- 10:15Speaker 3: All right, welcome back, Kevin mccallaugh. Glad to have you
- 10:18Speaker 3: with us. It's that Kevin Show everything online at that
- 10:21Speaker 3: kevinshow dot Com, including our long running series How Do
- 10:25Speaker 3: We Live? It's their in podcast form every single day,
- 10:29Speaker 3: and I hope that you come back and take a
- 10:32Speaker 3: vail of it if you have not had a chance
- 10:34Speaker 3: to hear it live. These shepherds that come and spend
- 10:38Speaker 3: a week with us, I really value that time and
- 10:41Speaker 3: I know that they really care about encouraging you. In
- 10:45Speaker 3: the same process. What are we encouraging each other about? Well,
- 10:48Speaker 3: if you're not a believer, this may not make sense,
- 10:50Speaker 3: but that's okay. I'm gonna challenge you with it. Anyway.
- 10:54Speaker 3: I believe that we as Christians, those of us that
- 10:57Speaker 3: follow Jesus, have a calling to impact the culture. And
- 11:01Speaker 3: we live in a culture that may not like God,
- 11:04Speaker 3: may not like his word, especially they may even be
- 11:07Speaker 3: fine with the generic version of God in their own brain,
- 11:10Speaker 3: but when you attach that God to a Bible that
- 11:13Speaker 3: has biblical attributes attached to it in terms of who
- 11:18Speaker 3: he is, that becomes a completely different matter. And certainly
- 11:23Speaker 3: here in the New York trist State area, but I
- 11:24Speaker 3: think in a lot of Western culture, the people that
- 11:27Speaker 3: believe in those things are looked upon with suspicion or
- 11:29Speaker 3: even outright hostility, which brings us back to Psalm twenty seven,
- 11:33Speaker 3: which is what we're talking about this week with Ryan
- 11:35Speaker 3: batesl of Emergence Church in New Jersey, where the writer
- 11:40Speaker 3: says in verse two, though the armies in camp around
- 11:45Speaker 3: me want to eat my flesh, want to kill me,
- 11:48Speaker 3: and not just one of them, but an entire army
- 11:50Speaker 3: of them taking me, you know, seventeen hundred and to
- 11:53Speaker 3: one in odds that I will not fear because God
- 11:58Speaker 3: is with us. And we're looking at this entire chapter
- 12:00Speaker 3: this week, and Ryan, it's been a really illuminating discussion
- 12:03Speaker 3: thus far, so thank you again for doing it. But
- 12:05Speaker 3: we get too great. We're getting into a chapter now
- 12:08Speaker 3: where the focus changes a little bit and it's noticeable
- 12:11Speaker 3: in the language. But what are we looking at.
- 12:13Speaker 8: Yeah, I think what we're seeing now is you know,
- 12:16Speaker 8: he gave us these great truths of we don't need
- 12:19Speaker 8: to fear because God is with us. And the heart
- 12:22Speaker 8: of that is when God's the most beautiful thing, right,
- 12:25Speaker 8: And so if the most beautiful thing in our lives
- 12:29Speaker 8: can't be ever taken from us, like we really don't
- 12:32Speaker 8: have to live in fear. And now is it? You
- 12:36Speaker 8: got it right, Kevin? You can feel it almost. It
- 12:39Speaker 8: shifts a bit to how do we build that heart? Like,
- 12:43Speaker 8: what are what's the weight room? You know, what's what's
- 12:47Speaker 8: the exercises in our lives that begin to build that heart?
- 12:51Speaker 8: And that's the next couple verses in the passage.
- 12:54Speaker 3: So why don't you just touch on them, meet them
- 12:57Speaker 3: for us, and then tell us what they mean?
- 12:59Speaker 8: You know what I mean? Actually, don't have my cal and.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Let me read them for you and we'll go from there.
- 13:03Speaker 8: And it would be cool, It would be cool if
- 13:05Speaker 8: I just.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Ripped it right out of memory. Very oppressed. Well, you
- 13:09Speaker 3: do memorize a good chunk of your messages every week,
- 13:12Speaker 3: so you probably have inputed whatever's in to this week's sermon.
- 13:17Speaker 3: But let me just pick up on verse seven. Hear
- 13:20Speaker 3: my voice when I call Lord, be merciful to me
- 13:24Speaker 3: and answer me. My heart says I. You seek his face,
- 13:27Speaker 3: your face, Lord, I will seek. Don't hide your face
- 13:31Speaker 3: from me. Don't turn your servant away in anger. You've
- 13:33Speaker 3: been my helper. Don't reject me or forsake me, God
- 13:37Speaker 3: my Savior. That's just verses seven through nine.
- 13:40Speaker 8: There, Yeah, nice, And this gets into some of what
- 13:44Speaker 8: we began to hit on yesterday about just the importance
- 13:48Speaker 8: of being building the posture of hey, I'm going to
- 13:52Speaker 8: seek God. I'm going to seek him in really two ways,
- 13:55Speaker 8: one corporately, which was so helpful what you shared yesterday
- 13:59Speaker 8: about need to get around the people of God in
- 14:02Speaker 8: times of fear and times where things are hard. Don't
- 14:05Speaker 8: run and don't isolate. That's where people get in huge trouble.
- 14:09Speaker 8: And you know, I was thinking yesterday throughout the day,
- 14:11Speaker 8: a little bit after we hung up, I think a
- 14:14Speaker 8: lot of Christians don't realize how encouraging their presence is
- 14:19Speaker 8: On a Sunday. People might feel like I'm not doing anything.
- 14:23Speaker 8: I'm just here. I don't think people even understand me
- 14:28Speaker 8: being in this room is probably an encouragement to someone
- 14:32Speaker 8: them seeing me here, me saying hello. I think we
- 14:37Speaker 8: really miss that sometimes. And so the importance of corporate seeking,
- 14:41Speaker 8: and then I think the importance of individual seeking. What
- 14:45Speaker 8: are the habits and disciplines and routines in how I
- 14:51Speaker 8: seek the Lord personally and privately that's going to cultivate
- 14:56Speaker 8: this courage that comes only from the Lord in my
- 14:59Speaker 8: relationship with.
- 15:00Speaker 3: If you will, holding to your gym analogy, these are
- 15:04Speaker 3: the these are the reps. These are the things we
- 15:07Speaker 3: make practical habits of and hopefully they become a routine
- 15:12Speaker 3: that helps us shape our spiritual outlook.
- 15:15Speaker 9: You know.
- 15:16Speaker 8: And before we even jumped on the radio today, we
- 15:20Speaker 8: were talking a little off off the phone about Kobe
- 15:24Speaker 8: and Jordan. And one of the things that said Kobe
- 15:27Speaker 8: Bryan apart was he would get a workout in before
- 15:31Speaker 8: anyone else. He was famous for four am workouts where
- 15:33Speaker 8: he would go and he shoot around. He just felt like, Hey,
- 15:36Speaker 8: by me putting this time in, I'm putting time in
- 15:40Speaker 8: that no one else is, and I'm going to make
- 15:41Speaker 8: sure to get some extra reps every day over my competition.
- 15:46Speaker 8: And hey, that's cool with basketball, but it's far more
- 15:51Speaker 8: powerful if we find to go how do I get
- 15:55Speaker 8: a little extra time with the Lord each day, even
- 15:57Speaker 8: if it means setting my alarm fifteen minutes earlier. I'm
- 16:01Speaker 8: just going to get in his word. I'm going to
- 16:02Speaker 8: get some time in prayer. I might bring a journal
- 16:05Speaker 8: with me and write some thoughts down. But I want
- 16:08Speaker 8: to put in the work because in the day of trouble,
- 16:13Speaker 8: just like Kobe knew in the in the big moment,
- 16:15Speaker 8: in the big game, I put the time in in
- 16:18Speaker 8: the day of trouble, by the grace of God, I'll
- 16:20Speaker 8: put some time in and the fruit's going to come out.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Yeah, you know.
- 16:25Speaker 8: That's the seeking piece.
- 16:27Speaker 3: And he goes into verse ten and eleven with even
- 16:33Speaker 3: kind of an ultimatum, like, even if my father and
- 16:37Speaker 3: mother forsake me, the Lord, you'll receive me, teach me
- 16:41Speaker 3: your way, lead me in a straight path because of
- 16:44Speaker 3: my oppressors, do not over. Do not turn me over
- 16:47Speaker 3: to the desire of my foes, for false witnesses rise
- 16:50Speaker 3: up against me, spouting malicious accusations. We've all had those
- 16:54Speaker 3: moments in our lives, I'm sure. But he's saying the
- 16:58Speaker 3: seeking of God God's face, especially in the times where
- 17:03Speaker 3: it gets really hard, that's where you know, God's presence
- 17:07Speaker 3: the most.
- 17:08Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, yeah, And this is this is gets us
- 17:11Speaker 8: to the second thing. And we're not just seeking, but
- 17:14Speaker 8: we want to be taught on God right like like
- 17:17Speaker 8: James says, we don't just want to hear God's word,
- 17:19Speaker 8: we actually want to do it, you know, and and
- 17:22Speaker 8: that that's really the teaching piece. And this one comes
- 17:25Speaker 8: down to for me just personally, here's how I think
- 17:27Speaker 8: about it. What are my go to verses in these
- 17:33Speaker 8: moments that I've forged into my heart? And so you
- 17:37Speaker 8: know too, I think of one for me is real simple.
- 17:41Speaker 8: God is my shield, right and so if God's my shield,
- 17:45Speaker 8: that's a good shield. And I can walk pretty courageously
- 17:50Speaker 8: into anything if God is my shield. The other thing
- 17:55Speaker 8: it was just really freeing for me is hey, it's
- 17:58Speaker 8: a pointed for man to die once and after that
- 18:00Speaker 8: to face judgment. And the truth is and this was
- 18:02Speaker 8: big for me as a father because you know, I
- 18:06Speaker 8: used to think nothing bothered me, and you know, and
- 18:10Speaker 8: then I had kids and I realized I don't think
- 18:12Speaker 8: I ever really cared about anyone. I don't think I
- 18:15Speaker 8: was I don't think I was fearless. I just don't
- 18:18Speaker 8: think I cared about anything, and then I did care
- 18:21Speaker 8: about something, and I cared that they lived, and I
- 18:23Speaker 8: felt a real responsibility to make sure they lived. And
- 18:27Speaker 8: part of that was good, and part of that was fear.
- 18:30Speaker 8: Because the truth is, at the end of the day, yes,
- 18:33Speaker 8: I'm to love my children, I'm to pray for them,
- 18:36Speaker 8: share the Gospel with them, try to give them truth,
- 18:39Speaker 8: a good example. I don't ultimately keep them alive that
- 18:45Speaker 8: at the end of the day, that's a God's role.
- 18:48Speaker 8: And some of my fear early and my parenting crept
- 18:51Speaker 8: in because I was trying to do something that was
- 18:54Speaker 8: God's job. And I think anytime, you know, it's interesting
- 18:58Speaker 8: to trace our anxieties because we might find idolatry behind them,
- 19:03Speaker 8: or we might find we're putting ourselves in the place
- 19:06Speaker 8: of God, thinking we're responsible for something easily responsible for.
- 19:11Speaker 8: And that was really a freeing thing for me to realize.
- 19:14Speaker 8: And that's where just the value as we seek him,
- 19:17Speaker 8: we go teach me God, teach me your truths, so
- 19:21Speaker 8: that because you call us to be fear, you know
- 19:25Speaker 8: not fear. So what's the truth I need to get
- 19:27Speaker 8: into my heart so I don't fear? And that was
- 19:30Speaker 8: a huge one for me.
- 19:31Speaker 3: I think this is important friends, that we seek him
- 19:34Speaker 3: and that we ask him to teach us more about
- 19:37Speaker 3: who he is and more about how that all works
- 19:38Speaker 3: out real quickly, Ryan, you're teaching this weekend. If people
- 19:42Speaker 3: come to Emergence, what will they hear and what time
- 19:46Speaker 3: should they be there and where they located.
- 19:48Speaker 8: At Sure, I mean we're still in our study in Psalms.
- 19:51Speaker 8: We're in Psalm fifty one, kind of on the back
- 19:55Speaker 8: end of the moments of life where we blow it
- 19:59Speaker 8: because we all do, you know, and the grace of
- 20:02Speaker 8: God is there. That's what we're going to talk about
- 20:03Speaker 8: this weekend. And we have a whole bunch of service times.
- 20:07Speaker 8: But at our Central campus we got Thursday night at
- 20:10Speaker 8: seven and then we got Sunday mornings eight forty five,
- 20:15Speaker 8: ten fifteen, and eleven forty five in total. So that's
- 20:18Speaker 8: that's where we are.
- 20:20Speaker 3: And if you want to know more, friends, it's Emergence
- 20:22Speaker 3: dot Church. And I know that if you showed up,
- 20:25Speaker 3: I know that Ryan would love to say hi to
- 20:27Speaker 3: you if you came by and chook his hand after
- 20:29Speaker 3: So please avail yourself with that. Ryan, Thank you. Looking
- 20:33Speaker 3: forward to our continued discussion these next couple of days.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Appreciate you being here again. You got it. Calvin McCullough
- 20:38Speaker 3: coming right back. We've got a lot to get to.
- 20:39Speaker 3: It's a Wednesday, and we'll touch on a little bit
- 20:42Speaker 3: of wellness an hour or two. So I hope you stick.
- 20:43Speaker 9: Around, stick around for more than Kevin next.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Here he is from New York. That Kevin Kevin mccoma.
- 21:15Speaker 3: All right, welcome back. It is that Kevin show, that
- 21:18Speaker 3: kevinshow dot com. And thank you again for all of
- 21:21Speaker 3: you that went in the month of July and went
- 21:25Speaker 3: over there and took a look at some things. Maybe
- 21:27Speaker 3: you checked out a podcast, maybe you've read a column,
- 21:30Speaker 3: but a bunch of you went and you clicked on
- 21:32Speaker 3: that banner at the top of the homepage it said
- 21:34Speaker 3: Bible League send Bibles. People around the world needing Bibles.
- 21:38Speaker 3: What are they needing bibles for? Well, Michael Woolworth is
- 21:42Speaker 3: back with us. And Michael also sat in for me
- 21:44Speaker 3: recently on my jaunt for vacation. And Michael, thank you
- 21:48Speaker 3: for your time and effort in doing that. I know
- 21:50Speaker 3: that you enjoy doing it, but I know how hard
- 21:53Speaker 3: of a task it is to kick out a two
- 21:55Speaker 3: hour show each day. So thank you for putting in
- 21:58Speaker 3: that extra effort and for telling this story of what
- 22:01Speaker 3: we're doing here, because I think, and I've just come
- 22:03Speaker 3: to accept this, there's a lot of people, particularly on
- 22:06Speaker 3: my secular stations, that are just never going to get
- 22:09Speaker 3: what we're doing. They're just going to say, Bibles. Who
- 22:12Speaker 3: needs And in fact, I got an email from one
- 22:13Speaker 3: guys like that, nobody can't get a Bible. Everybody can
- 22:16Speaker 3: get Bibles. Says, Okay, you don't get it, You're not
- 22:19Speaker 3: the one that is supposed to understand it. But I
- 22:23Speaker 3: do believe that there are thousands of people listening across
- 22:28Speaker 3: the four hundred plus stations that carry us that understand
- 22:31Speaker 3: the desperation and a term that you just coined while
- 22:34Speaker 3: I was away on vacation, and the spiritual malnutrition that
- 22:39Speaker 3: someone may start to develop if they don't have access
- 22:43Speaker 3: to a Bible. Now, malnutrition is a big word. We
- 22:46Speaker 3: say that about kids that starve and have distended bellies
- 22:50Speaker 3: and you know, are in the Third World and they
- 22:53Speaker 3: can't get food. But talk to me about that word
- 22:57Speaker 3: and why that came to mind and the picture that
- 22:59Speaker 3: you have in your mind when you said that because
- 23:01Speaker 3: I thought that's what it is. We're solving spiritual malnutrition,
- 23:06Speaker 3: but we have to understand what it is before we
- 23:07Speaker 3: can solve it.
- 23:08Speaker 10: Yeah, right, right, Yeah, Kevin, you've been a great friend
- 23:11Speaker 10: of Bible League over many, many years. I can't say
- 23:13Speaker 10: enough about you asking this listening family, you know, really
- 23:16Speaker 10: without any hesitation, to be a part of what God
- 23:19Speaker 10: is doing in his world. And I can't say enough
- 23:21Speaker 10: about this listening family. You know, we've worked together easily
- 23:25Speaker 10: more than two decades, right, And when we've come, we've
- 23:27Speaker 10: given you a glimpse into what God is doing in
- 23:29Speaker 10: his world, and we've invited you, urged you in some
- 23:32Speaker 10: cases to be a part of this. You've been incredibly generous.
- 23:35Speaker 10: So I know you say to yourselves, I love my Bible.
- 23:38Speaker 10: God has used his word to grow me into the
- 23:41Speaker 10: believer that I am today, right, And I simply want
- 23:43Speaker 10: to give that privilege to others and me. Kevin, if
- 23:46Speaker 10: we were talking about human hunger in this campaign, right,
- 23:51Speaker 10: you'd say, what, okay, eventually, if you don't eat, you
- 23:53Speaker 10: want you starve to death?
- 23:54Speaker 11: Right?
- 23:55Speaker 10: And I don't think it's a stretch when you talk
- 23:57Speaker 10: about believers, many who are new to the faith that
- 24:00Speaker 10: needed to be able to grow and graze, but also
- 24:03Speaker 10: to really take out of their lives, remove from their
- 24:07Speaker 10: minds the caricature that they often come into Christianity with.
- 24:11Speaker 10: It's all right, it's half wrong, those sorts of things right.
- 24:14Speaker 10: And so I think about you know, Peter, and one
- 24:17Speaker 10: Peter too. He says, you know, like newborn babies, you
- 24:19Speaker 10: must crave pure spiritual milk so that you'll grow into
- 24:23Speaker 10: maturing believers. He says, cry out for this nourishment. I mean, Kevin,
- 24:27Speaker 10: if you don't cry out for that nourishment, what do
- 24:29Speaker 10: you do? You die on the vine, so to speak, right,
- 24:32Speaker 10: And so again these are believers that are crying out
- 24:35Speaker 10: to the tuns of as many as nine of ten
- 24:38Speaker 10: that we know by name, in the regions of Asia, Africa,
- 24:42Speaker 10: the Middle East, and Latin America. They're crying out for
- 24:44Speaker 10: the milk of the word. The question is will we
- 24:47Speaker 10: heed that call? And again it happens for only five
- 24:50Speaker 10: dollars a Bible. I love to say the princely some right,
- 24:52Speaker 10: we're not talking about an incredible amount of money. But
- 24:55Speaker 10: again we said, together as two ministries, if this is
- 24:57Speaker 10: a major issue facing the global church, Let's get together.
- 25:01Speaker 10: Let's spend a few weeks, not months, not years, right,
- 25:04Speaker 10: but let's spend a little bit of time and let's
- 25:06Speaker 10: tackle this issue. We've identified just north of ten thousand
- 25:09Speaker 10: waiting believers that we know by name it Bible League.
- 25:12Speaker 10: Today we've seen about about two thousand taken care of.
- 25:15Speaker 10: So again, two thousand answers to prayer. Every five dollars
- 25:19Speaker 10: gift is the answer to the prayer of a waiting believer,
- 25:21Speaker 10: again that we know by name of Bible Kevin, We've
- 25:23Speaker 10: seen that to the tune of two thousand, people like
- 25:26Speaker 10: Rebecca of New York City said, I'm in. David, New
- 25:29Speaker 10: Jersey said, Michael Kevin count me, and Robert of Thornwood,
- 25:33Speaker 10: New York said, I'm in. Mabel of Brooklyn said, I
- 25:36Speaker 10: want to be a part of this. So again, we're
- 25:38Speaker 10: at this point. It's because of listeners like these who
- 25:41Speaker 10: have said, again, we've got to be a part of this. Again,
- 25:44Speaker 10: as much as it depends upon us, let's get it
- 25:46Speaker 10: done together. And again let's provide the spiritual of food
- 25:50Speaker 10: that five dollars Bible that again gives these new believers
- 25:55Speaker 10: that spiritual milca. They're not only needing, but craving.
- 25:58Speaker 3: One eight hundred yes is the number one eight hundred
- 26:01Speaker 3: yes word. You can also give online by going to
- 26:06Speaker 3: that kevinshow dot com clicking that very banner I was
- 26:09Speaker 3: just talking about at the top of the page. That
- 26:12Speaker 3: is exactly what we're talking about on the spiritual level.
- 26:15Speaker 3: For people that don't have Christian radio in their cars,
- 26:19Speaker 3: they don't have cars, they don't have it in their home,
- 26:22Speaker 3: they may not even have homes. Some of them don't
- 26:24Speaker 3: have it in the entire region of the world that
- 26:26Speaker 3: they live in. Bible League can fill that void, go
- 26:30Speaker 3: where they are, produce the food that they're looking for
- 26:33Speaker 3: by way of their spiritual nourishment by giving them a Bible.
- 26:37Speaker 3: And this is the part, Michael that I really get
- 26:39Speaker 3: blown away by by what Bible League does, because you
- 26:41Speaker 3: give them Bibles in their language, usually in their dialect
- 26:46Speaker 3: if their language has multiple versions of dialects, and you
- 26:51Speaker 3: do it at the cost of only five dollars in
- 26:54Speaker 3: a durable version that holds up in pretty rugged circumstances.
- 26:59Speaker 3: I don't know that there is another option on planet
- 27:02Speaker 3: Earth to help people in this way, and you guys
- 27:05Speaker 3: have been doing it for eighty nine years. Friends. That's
- 27:07Speaker 3: why I don't have any hesitation in telling you we
- 27:11Speaker 3: absolutely need to help all ten thousand of these people
- 27:15Speaker 3: find the Bibles that they're looking for. And then there's
- 27:19Speaker 3: this other thing called a miracle multiplier, which is when
- 27:21Speaker 3: they get the Bible, it turns into changed lives by twelve.
- 27:26Speaker 3: So if we're at two thousand Bibles right now, that
- 27:29Speaker 3: means you've already impacted. Friend, those of you that have given,
- 27:32Speaker 3: you've already impacted nearly twenty four thousand lives over the
- 27:36Speaker 3: coming days, months, years because of your faithfulness. We need
- 27:41Speaker 3: your help. We've long two thousands, a long way away
- 27:43Speaker 3: from ten thousand, eight hundred yes word one eight hundred
- 27:47Speaker 3: yes word. Or go to bat kevinshow dot com.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Here he is from New York. That Kevin Kevin McCollough.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Welcome back, is that Kevin Show, that kevinshow dot com online.
- 28:19Speaker 3: Thank you again for giving us another record month in
- 28:21Speaker 3: the month of July. Just incredible to see. But if
- 28:24Speaker 3: you want to go anywhere to get the podcasts and
- 28:26Speaker 3: the videos and the columns and all the rest, it's
- 28:29Speaker 3: all in one place. We make it super easy. Jay
- 28:31Speaker 3: Hogan Gidley is back with us. My favorite bit of
- 28:34Speaker 3: legwork that he ever did was serving as a press
- 28:37Speaker 3: secretary associate press secretary for Donald Trump, and he's still
- 28:41Speaker 3: in the mix of all things Washington.
- 28:44Speaker 1: D C.
- 28:45Speaker 3: Also does some work with the America First Policy Institute
- 28:48Speaker 3: and some other good people. Hogan, two big things I
- 28:51Speaker 3: want to discuss, and we've got about ten minutes to
- 28:54Speaker 3: do it. Fauci's hearings and the say AAC. Let's start
- 28:58Speaker 3: with Fauci's hearings. He was up before and Ran Paul
- 29:02Speaker 3: called him up. I lost track of how many times
- 29:04Speaker 3: he brought him to the Senate previously. He always had
- 29:09Speaker 3: this like smirk in this kind of hubris and this
- 29:12Speaker 3: arrogance of you know, well, you know I did what
- 29:15Speaker 3: I did and I don't have any regrets, and you know,
- 29:17Speaker 3: we had to do what we had to do. This
- 29:19Speaker 3: was kind of his attitude. Boy, that song sure changed
- 29:23Speaker 3: when Secretary Gabbert released all the info on his emails
- 29:28Speaker 3: and what we've learned from that since, what's the takeaway
- 29:31Speaker 3: of the Fauci hearings and what should be the next
- 29:33Speaker 3: steps there?
- 29:34Speaker 5: Well, I still think he has that smarm, and I
- 29:36Speaker 5: still think he has that attitude, that arrogance, that stunning
- 29:40Speaker 5: lack of self awareness, and that self righteousness that is
- 29:44Speaker 5: so undeserved. He lied to this country for many years.
- 29:49Speaker 5: I fought against him in the situation room when I
- 29:51Speaker 5: was working for the President the first time about masks.
- 29:54Speaker 5: All of it now we know to be untrue. The
- 29:56Speaker 5: social distancing was made up of the efficacy of masks,
- 30:00Speaker 5: made up as well. How good the vaccines were also
- 30:04Speaker 5: made up, the origin of the league itself, All of
- 30:09Speaker 5: those things. Now the diary has proven to be made
- 30:14Speaker 5: up hoax by doctor Fauci himself. And the rallying around
- 30:19Speaker 5: this man by the mainstream media is so it's not surprising,
- 30:24Speaker 5: but it's very stunny. They won't made a call and say, yeah,
- 30:28Speaker 5: we were complicit in this, Maybe we should have asked
- 30:30Speaker 5: some more questions or had some dissenting viewpoints on And
- 30:34Speaker 5: really the only reason we gave him such a platform
- 30:36Speaker 5: is because we hate Donald Trump so much.
- 30:38Speaker 12: You're never going to get that from them.
- 30:39Speaker 5: They continue to rally around someone who quite frankly, helped
- 30:43Speaker 5: erode the press is credibility large.
- 30:48Speaker 12: I mean, he was one of the ones that made
- 30:50Speaker 12: them the buffoons and fools that.
- 30:52Speaker 5: They are today the people that the American people don't
- 30:56Speaker 5: trust their popularities somewhere between Congress and COVID because of
- 31:00Speaker 5: how much they lie to us. So the Fauci hearings, Yeah,
- 31:05Speaker 5: he took the fifth, but I still think people need
- 31:07Speaker 5: to go to jail. I still think people need to
- 31:09Speaker 5: be convicted of crimes against humanity. If you think about
- 31:13Speaker 5: the generation of children that suffered abuse at the hands
- 31:18Speaker 5: of adults, they had, of course to stay home, with
- 31:23Speaker 5: the nutritional problems they have, the learning loss they have,
- 31:26Speaker 5: not to mention the mental health of all the adults
- 31:30Speaker 5: that had to stay home, the physical health caused, problems
- 31:34Speaker 5: caused by the vaccine. All of these things need to
- 31:37Speaker 5: be answered for one way or the other.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Well, So a little bit of a follow up on
- 31:42Speaker 3: that Biden gave him some sort of pre commutation or something.
- 31:48Speaker 3: I don't know how that works, because I thought you
- 31:50Speaker 3: had to be convicted of something to get one of those.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Are there any legal options left?
- 31:55Speaker 12: Look, I'm not an attorney.
- 31:57Speaker 5: I've been listening to some of the experts out there
- 31:58Speaker 5: who are talking out this saying no, you can still
- 32:01Speaker 5: go after the state level, of course, because remember they
- 32:04Speaker 5: said they were going to go after Trump at the
- 32:05Speaker 5: state level, regardless of pardon and regardless of anything else
- 32:09Speaker 5: exoneration at the federal level. So I think there are
- 32:11Speaker 5: still some avenues. It looks like some of the states
- 32:13Speaker 5: are looking at that. Maybe a couple have even filed.
- 32:16Speaker 5: I think maybe even Florida someone has looked at filing
- 32:19Speaker 5: against a fallacy for some of the lies in the moutheastns.
- 32:22Speaker 5: But regardless, I think this is one of the biggest
- 32:25Speaker 5: problems that the American people see across party lines.
- 32:28Speaker 3: How do we get to Save America Act passed?
- 32:31Speaker 5: Well, you know, when we first started pulling this at
- 32:32Speaker 5: the American First Policy Institute, it was only a sixty
- 32:35Speaker 5: to forty issue. I thought only Americans deciding American elections
- 32:39Speaker 5: would be ninety percent. It wasn't because when I asked
- 32:42Speaker 5: the polster why, he said, forty percent of Americans want
- 32:46Speaker 5: open borders. Now, after those governors will remember on Republican
- 32:49Speaker 5: states shift a lot of people into blue areas, that
- 32:53Speaker 5: number went higher.
- 32:54Speaker 12: As you just point out.
- 32:55Speaker 5: Now it's an eighty twenty a ninety ten issue, and
- 32:59Speaker 5: there having problems in the Senate passing and the House
- 33:02Speaker 5: has passed it. I think in between four and six times.
- 33:04Speaker 5: At this point, Fun doesn't have the votes to turn
- 33:07Speaker 5: over the filibuster and get it done. He doesn't have
- 33:10Speaker 5: seven Democrats he'll stand up for you know what the
- 33:12Speaker 5: American people want and get.
- 33:13Speaker 12: Sixty votes to pass it. So the House did something brilliant.
- 33:17Speaker 5: Not to get wonky here, but basically they put the
- 33:20Speaker 5: Save Act into a reconciliation bill that funds the military
- 33:25Speaker 5: and agriculture basically, And they did that because it takes
- 33:29Speaker 5: away the threshold of sixty votes. It takes away the
- 33:31Speaker 5: need to get rid of the filibuster. It gave the
- 33:33Speaker 5: Senate literally the lowest bar in Senate rules to pass
- 33:40Speaker 5: a bill because it's reconciliation. Remember the big beautiful bill
- 33:43Speaker 5: that gave us all the tax cuts and all those
- 33:44Speaker 5: wonderful things that passed by a simple majority.
- 33:48Speaker 12: Now the Save Act also can pass by a simple majority.
- 33:51Speaker 5: And so I see the present saying all the time
- 33:54Speaker 5: Fun needs to overturn the filibuster, and I get it.
- 33:56Speaker 5: A lot of people want that to happen, but he
- 33:58Speaker 5: didn't need to to pass the.
- 34:00Speaker 12: The lowest car to climb over has been.
- 34:03Speaker 5: Handed to him on a silver platter by the House
- 34:05Speaker 5: of Representatives to say that is in reconciliation. It can
- 34:09Speaker 5: pass by a simple majority of people who are in
- 34:12Speaker 5: the chamber.
- 34:13Speaker 12: At the time.
- 34:14Speaker 5: It is a gimme, It is a layup. It is
- 34:16Speaker 5: a two inch putt. For the golfers out.
- 34:18Speaker 3: There, it is an unstable to get a simple lift.
- 34:22Speaker 3: It's an unspeakably simple lift. And Alltune has to do
- 34:25Speaker 3: is find John Fetterman and maybe one of the on
- 34:29Speaker 3: the fence Republicans. You need a couple of Republicans to
- 34:32Speaker 3: just say yeah, we're Republicans.
- 34:33Speaker 12: And one other thing, you're talking about voter i D.
- 34:37Speaker 5: Remember Chuck Shure famously said, hey, we're not against voter ID,
- 34:41Speaker 5: we're just against the say that blah blah blah whatever.
- 34:43Speaker 5: So Republicans also passed a bill that said you can't
- 34:47Speaker 5: insider trade on stock information you get from the House
- 34:50Speaker 5: of Representatives and make money off of it, and we
- 34:53Speaker 5: attach simple voter identification measures to that. Now it's over
- 34:58Speaker 5: on the Senate side too, So the you leased you
- 35:00Speaker 5: can get voter identification in the Senate, Democrats are said no, no, no, no,
- 35:04Speaker 5: we don't want that. It's like, but you just said,
- 35:07Speaker 5: like we're calling them out in real time. You said
- 35:10Speaker 5: that wasn't a problem. You just didn't like to say that.
- 35:12Speaker 5: So we gave you another avenue to do it too,
- 35:14Speaker 5: vote identification.
- 35:15Speaker 12: So there are two ways they can get this done.
- 35:17Speaker 3: Any thought on how soon fun will bring this up?
- 35:20Speaker 12: I think you will run as soon as you can.
- 35:22Speaker 5: I think you make the Republicans vote for it, or
- 35:24Speaker 5: make them vote against it.
- 35:25Speaker 12: I see a fifty to.
- 35:26Speaker 5: Fifty tie or cowsk here till us or corn and
- 35:29Speaker 5: don't look for it, and then watch JD come over
- 35:31Speaker 5: the top with the fifty first vote and then say
- 35:34Speaker 5: you put that feather in my cap if I decide
- 35:35Speaker 5: to run for president later.
- 35:37Speaker 3: You got you got voter integrity done? All right, Jahogan Gidley.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Always appreciate you man, Thanks for being here.
- 35:41Speaker 4: Thanks Kevin got it.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Kevin mckella coming right back from Times Square. Don't go anywhere,
- 35:47Speaker 3: stick around for more of that Kevin next.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Serving it up. That's a no drink mittal. It's that
- 36:07Speaker 1: Kevin Show.
- 36:09Speaker 3: All right, final few minutes of this first hour of
- 36:12Speaker 3: that Kevin Show for today. And I want to say
- 36:15Speaker 3: thank you. I have a big word of thank you
- 36:18Speaker 3: to the twelve fourteen rather new stations that just picked
- 36:23Speaker 3: us up in the month of July. I just got
- 36:27Speaker 3: my notice of where all we're at now San Diego,
- 36:30Speaker 3: thank you, Anchorage, Alaska, Thank you, Reno, Nevada, thank you.
- 36:35Speaker 3: And there are a few more, but Orlando, Florida, where
- 36:42Speaker 3: all are we? There was there was a couple more.
- 36:44Speaker 3: I don't have the list in front of me, but
- 36:45Speaker 3: thank you to every one of you that that stepped
- 36:49Speaker 3: forward and said we want to put Kevin McCullough and
- 36:52Speaker 3: that Kevin Show into our city, our universe, our metro
- 36:56Speaker 3: area here on the radio. Thank you for doing that.
- 36:59Speaker 3: And if you ever miss the show on the radio,
- 37:01Speaker 3: just go to that Kevinshow dot com. The podcasts are
- 37:03Speaker 3: always posted, the columns from townhall dot com are always up,
- 37:08Speaker 3: and I would just appreciate it if you would, you know,
- 37:11Speaker 3: throw some web traffic our way, Go watch my videos,

- 38:56Speaker 3: just before we take the break between hours here, big
- 38:59Speaker 3: congratulations to our former talk colleague here at Salem Media.
- 39:04Speaker 3: Former Salem Radio Network talk host Chris Stigall won the
- 39:08Speaker 3: Republican primary for congress in Missouri's sixth congressional district last night,
- 39:13Speaker 3: and he beat out four opponents. Stigall is favored to
- 39:17Speaker 3: win in November in a very very heavily Republican district
- 39:22Speaker 3: there in Missouri. But congrats to Chris Stigall, former morning
- 39:26Speaker 3: guy on the Salem Radio Network. People didn't know this.
- 39:29Speaker 3: He was supposedly a Philadelphia based talent. He actually lived
- 39:32Speaker 3: in the Midwest, but did the show for Philadelphia as
- 39:35Speaker 3: a local show, and then when he went network he
- 39:37Speaker 3: was heard nationwide, obviously, But he got out and he
- 39:40Speaker 3: did something that people have not successfully done a lot of.
- 39:44Speaker 3: There was another talk show host from Salem Media years
- 39:47Speaker 3: ago who tried to do the same thing. Boy did
- 39:49Speaker 3: that not work. But Chris is a good guy, committed
- 39:53Speaker 3: believer in Jesus very much wants to serve as community
- 39:57Speaker 3: and his God and his King and his family. I
- 40:00Speaker 3: just think that this is a great, great win for
- 40:02Speaker 3: the people of Missouri, and I'm hopeful for the people
- 40:04Speaker 3: of the United States. Chris is really a former writer
- 40:08Speaker 3: on the Letterman staff years ago. Funny guy but also
- 40:12Speaker 3: down to earth, practical guy. And now he is in
- 40:15Speaker 3: position to possibly win the Missouri sixth Congressional District and
- 40:19Speaker 3: become the next congress person for the sixth district from
- 40:24Speaker 3: Missouri in November, in a district that favors the Republicans
- 40:28Speaker 3: pretty heavily. Calvin McCullough, We've got another hour straight ahead,
- 40:31Speaker 3: and I've already told you if you struggle with losing weight,
- 40:34Speaker 3: you have questions about losing weight, losing weight is something
- 40:37Speaker 3: you want to do. You don't have to tell anybody else,
- 40:38Speaker 3: but listen this next hour. We've got some help on
- 40:41Speaker 3: the way.
- 40:42Speaker 13: Stay right here, somewhere in the vowels of the City
- 40:51Speaker 13: that Never sleeps.

- 41:00Speaker 6: And that guy would like a word with you.
- 41:03Speaker 3: Many of you know him when I spots for Damas.
- 41:05Speaker 1: Of course, that Kevin Show is going to be great.
- 41:07Speaker 4: The only thing that could be greater, of course, would
- 41:09Speaker 4: be That Donald Show, but we don't have that.
- 41:11Speaker 12: So we have That Kevin.
- 41:12Speaker 6: Show featuring the music of Dick Tunny and the Dream
- 41:16Speaker 6: in Color Orchestra, straight ahead, everything you need to know
- 41:30Speaker 6: about the tough headlines of the day and a perspective
- 41:33Speaker 6: that will give you some eternity to it. Plus practical
- 41:37Speaker 6: tips for family life, spiritual life, and good old regular life.
- 41:43Speaker 6: It's Kevin McCullough Monday through Friday on That Kevin Show
- 41:54Speaker 6: and now from the Connors in Sullivan Broadcast Studios. The
- 41:58Speaker 6: man who is not what he wants to be, but
- 42:01Speaker 6: is way grateful that is not who he used to be.
- 42:04Speaker 7: Here, all right, welcome in. It's That Kevin Show.
- 42:12Speaker 3: And we have a great addition for you coming up today.
- 42:17Speaker 3: You know, on the Wednesday edition we sometimes take a
- 42:20Speaker 3: little time out to talk about wellness, and I just
- 42:23Speaker 3: want to point you if you've ever struggled with weight,
- 42:26Speaker 3: if you've ever struggled with losing it or trying to
- 42:29Speaker 3: lose it, and it doesn't seem to be able to
- 42:32Speaker 3: come off or anything else. We are going to give
- 42:35Speaker 3: you the solution an hour two that you have been
- 42:38Speaker 3: looking for. You do not want to miss this, please
- 42:41Speaker 3: please please stick around hour two. Doctor Ashley Lucas will
- 42:45Speaker 3: join me, and she has helped more than thirteen thousand
- 42:48Speaker 3: people lose significant amounts of weight. And I'm just coming
- 42:53Speaker 3: off of a conversation last night with one of my
- 42:56Speaker 3: cousins who is actually in the New York Tri state
- 42:58Speaker 3: area to visit last night, and we were talking about
- 43:02Speaker 3: this very topic. You may know that I have lost
- 43:05Speaker 3: fourteen pounds of my own through my PhD Weight loss
- 43:09Speaker 3: just over the last couple of weeks. Myphdweight loss dot
- 43:13Speaker 3: com for more information on how you can do that,
- 43:16Speaker 3: and the phone number if you want to call them
- 43:17Speaker 3: is eight six four six four four nineteen hundred. And
- 43:20Speaker 3: I would encourage you to do it because this has
- 43:22Speaker 3: been the best program I've ever seen work, and it's
- 43:25Speaker 3: it's helped me. And I don't feel like I'm suffering
- 43:28Speaker 3: or I'm losing or I'm missing out on anything in
- 43:30Speaker 3: this program, which is how I felt when I've lost
- 43:33Speaker 3: weight with other processes before. But I just think it's
- 43:40Speaker 3: so important that if you've struggled with your weight, if
- 43:42Speaker 3: in one of these people that are like nothing works,
- 43:45Speaker 3: please stick around an hour or two. Today we have
- 43:47Speaker 3: got some real help on the way for you, and
- 43:49Speaker 3: I hope that you'll be here for it. I also
- 43:52Speaker 3: find it interesting that in the day after a lot
- 43:56Speaker 3: of elections were held in a lot of states on
- 43:59Speaker 3: the primary of the equation. And remember the difference that
- 44:04Speaker 3: Kevin always tells you about what it is to have
- 44:08Speaker 3: a primary election and what it is to have a
- 44:10Speaker 3: general election. Primary elections are where people vote for purity.
- 44:17Speaker 3: General elections are where you vote to stop the greatest evil.
- 44:20Speaker 3: And the Democratic Party right now is demonstrating I'm not
- 44:26Speaker 3: saying this as a partisan, I'm being objective. They're objectively
- 44:32Speaker 3: demonstrating a fundamental shift in what they believe and will
- 44:37Speaker 3: accept as a party from anything that's been recognizably the
- 44:41Speaker 3: Democratic Party in generations past. My grandparents, my mom's parents
- 44:48Speaker 3: and my dad's parents were both in essence JFK Democrats.
- 44:54Speaker 3: They all thought that the government should be there to
- 44:58Speaker 3: help you some they'd all live through Worldorld War two.
- 45:00Speaker 3: They saw what FDR did to try to help the
- 45:02Speaker 3: country survive the war. So they didn't have this animus
- 45:08Speaker 3: towards government being overreaching and you know, abusing powers and
- 45:12Speaker 3: so forth. They had a view of government that was
- 45:15Speaker 3: very you know, benevolent, that the government was there and
- 45:21Speaker 3: was helping people in rough times. That changed around the
- 45:27Speaker 3: time of Jimmy Carter for most of them, and you
- 45:31Speaker 3: would hear Ronald Reagan go on to say, you know,
- 45:35Speaker 3: the scariest thing that can be uttered is hello, we're
- 45:38Speaker 3: here from the government, and we're here to help. One
- 45:42Speaker 3: of my grandfathers, who you know, eventually changed parties, came
- 45:46Speaker 3: to understand that that was in fact a real problem
- 45:50Speaker 3: that we didn't want government to involved in things. But
- 45:53Speaker 3: that's not the Democratic Party that we're talking about now. Well,
- 45:56Speaker 3: we're talking about in these primary elections and thee the
- 46:04Speaker 3: voters are showing in state after state after state that
- 46:09Speaker 3: what you have here is a socialist, Marxist, communist takeover
- 46:16Speaker 3: of the Democratic Party and their ideas which are already
- 46:21Speaker 3: really bad on their face, like subsidizing government grocery stores
- 46:25Speaker 3: in New York that's already running into a buzzsaw with Mamdani.
- 46:29Speaker 3: Mumdanni tried to promise free to no cost to low
- 46:32Speaker 3: cost rides for public transportation that went bust. He's bragging
- 46:37Speaker 3: about how he's chasing all of the billionaires out of
- 46:40Speaker 3: his city, but those billionaires pay a good portion of
- 46:44Speaker 3: the tax revenue that the city operates on. So he's
- 46:47Speaker 3: losing the ability to resource his ideas. And yet in
- 46:54Speaker 3: Democratic primary after Democratic primary, you have this incredible kind
- 46:58Speaker 3: of turnout for the social But let me just add
- 47:02Speaker 3: this caveat, it's only the primary. I'll also add this
- 47:08Speaker 3: caveat to the Republican side. Trump is racking up wins
- 47:11Speaker 3: big time. Maga's doing great in the primary cycle. But
- 47:15Speaker 3: MAGA and the Socialists are kind of two opposite ends
- 47:20Speaker 3: of the spectrum and the middle of the country, which
- 47:26Speaker 3: is where the decision will be made, you know, in
- 47:29Speaker 3: terms of Congress and so forth. They're looking at all
- 47:33Speaker 3: this and their options right now are lean towards MAGA
- 47:38Speaker 3: and be very pro American, be proud of your country,
- 47:44Speaker 3: fight for justice and for equality and fairness and all
- 47:49Speaker 3: the things that are you know, typical American stuff. Or
- 47:53Speaker 3: vote for the Democrats and vote for the freebies and
- 47:58Speaker 3: the giveaways, and you know, what will you do for me?
- 48:03Speaker 3: Kind of mentality a completely different set of options. Hey,
- 48:07Speaker 3: I've gone on the record to say so about something,
- 48:10Speaker 3: and that is this. And it just happened this morning.
- 48:12Speaker 3: My bride took in my princess's daughter, my only daughter,
- 48:17Speaker 3: to get some back to school medical checkups done.
- 48:21Speaker 4: And.
- 48:24Speaker 3: I was so pleased lower cope lab work that was
- 48:30Speaker 3: automatically covered, don't have to submit a whole bunch of stuff,
- 48:34Speaker 3: and hope that the medical sharing medical cost sharing program
- 48:38Speaker 3: that I was part of was going to in some
- 48:40Speaker 3: way take care of it. It just got taken care of.
- 48:44Speaker 3: And I can say that I'm happy about that because
- 48:47Speaker 3: that was not the case just a few months ago.
- 48:49Speaker 3: And it was all because of Vic and his team
- 48:52Speaker 3: at DFW Direct Insurance that helped us get the improved
- 48:56Speaker 3: coverage that we have for lower cost. And that's not
- 49:02Speaker 3: like any other advertiser I've ever had before. I'm using
- 49:05Speaker 3: them myself. I love this company. I love what Vic does.
- 49:10Speaker 3: And let me just tell you the math on it.
- 49:13Speaker 3: He saved us four hundred dollars a month in out
- 49:17Speaker 3: of pocket cost for our insurance. That's about five thousand
- 49:22Speaker 3: dollars on the year that we're going to save on
- 49:25Speaker 3: health insurance and as a result, on the back end,
- 49:30Speaker 3: we're getting more coverage, covering more things than we've ever
- 49:33Speaker 3: had covered before. As a family of five, saved US
- 49:38Speaker 3: four hundred dollars a month, five thousand dollars for the year,
- 49:41Speaker 3: and getting more coverage than we had before. If you're
- 49:45Speaker 3: self employed, if you run a small business, if you're
- 49:47Speaker 3: a family looking for a more cost effective solution to
- 49:49Speaker 3: your health insurance. Maybe just someone who feels like you're
- 49:52Speaker 3: already paying too much and want to investigate your options.
- 49:55Speaker 3: DFW Direct Insurance. They are licensed in all fifty states
- 50:00Speaker 3: and they've been in business since two thousand and nine,
- 50:03Speaker 3: and Vic's been on the show. But I guarantee you
- 50:06Speaker 3: there is not a finer, nicer person in all the universe,
- 50:10Speaker 3: and he's gonna help walk you through the exact solution
- 50:12Speaker 3: that you're looking for. Eight one seven four four nine
- 50:16Speaker 3: five five five seven eight one seven four four nine
- 50:19Speaker 3: five five five seven. Call and say hey, Vic keV
- 50:22Speaker 3: said to say hi. Uh eight one seven four four
- 50:25Speaker 3: nine five five five seven eight one seven four four
- 50:27Speaker 3: nine five five five seven call right now, start saving
- 50:31Speaker 3: on your health insurance tomorrow. Call VIC today. Eight one
- 50:35Speaker 3: seven four four nine five five five seven.
- 50:56Speaker 11: Here he is from New York exact time. Ken Kevin McCullough.
- 51:06Speaker 3: Well, if you've listened to me over the last few weeks,
- 51:10Speaker 3: you've heard me kind of rave about the success I'm
- 51:13Speaker 3: having in dropping some pounds. Now. I had gone for
- 51:17Speaker 3: a long time slowly adding back weight that I had
- 51:21Speaker 3: lost under previous weight loss programs, and I got to
- 51:24Speaker 3: a point where I was really, really miserable. And my
- 51:27Speaker 3: good buddy Mike Gallagher, who I had heard had been
- 51:30Speaker 3: on PhD Weight Loss for a long time, I called
- 51:35Speaker 3: him up. I said, Mike, I know it worked for you.
- 51:38Speaker 3: Can I have their phone number? And within a matter
- 51:41Speaker 3: of minutes I was in contact with PhD Weight Loss
- 51:44Speaker 3: and they have now become a sponsor of the broadcast.
- 51:46Speaker 3: And as you hear me on a daily basis, I'm
- 51:48Speaker 3: losing weight, but I'm doing it in a way that's
- 51:51Speaker 3: healthier than I've ever done it before, and I feel better.
- 51:54Speaker 3: I'm getting better sleep, and big win for me, it's
- 51:58Speaker 3: helping my blood pressure, which has tended towards hypertension, but
- 52:02Speaker 3: now it's back in the normal ranges without medication. It's
- 52:05Speaker 3: kind of incredible. What's happening there. Well, the brain behind
- 52:08Speaker 3: all of it is doctor Ashley Lucas, who joins us
- 52:11Speaker 3: from PhD Weight Loss proprietor and founder. And actually, what
- 52:15Speaker 3: I love about what you've done is that you've given
- 52:18Speaker 3: me an immense amount of hope that my weight loss
- 52:21Speaker 3: goal is not only attainable, but it's attainable through a
- 52:24Speaker 3: system that I have not been hungry. In fact, when
- 52:28Speaker 3: I started, I had to tell my coach. I said,
- 52:31Speaker 3: you know what, I'm eating too much. You guys have
- 52:33Speaker 3: me eating too much. And she said, stay with the program, keV.
- 52:37Speaker 3: It works. But I never feel hungry. I never feel
- 52:42Speaker 3: like I'm lacking something. I'm missing something, And so I
- 52:45Speaker 3: wanted to say before we talk about everything else, I
- 52:47Speaker 3: want to say thank you to you for coming up
- 52:49Speaker 3: with PhD weight Loss and for helping people like me
- 52:52Speaker 3: who have a sizable goal. I want to lose sixty pounds,
- 52:56Speaker 3: but I'm fourteen towards that goal and I'm very, very excited.
- 53:00Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, well my pleasure.
- 53:01Speaker 14: I'm grateful for the opportunity to be able to help you.
- 53:04Speaker 14: And like you said, I think the biggest, most important
- 53:07Speaker 14: thing is that we have hope. A lot of people
- 53:09Speaker 14: have tried so many different things and they think, oh
- 53:12Speaker 14: my gosh, I'm just broken. There's no way I'm going
- 53:14Speaker 14: to be able to.
- 53:15Speaker 4: Achieve any kind of weight loss.
- 53:17Speaker 14: But you're proving that to be true. When we see
- 53:18Speaker 14: that every day all the time. It's my favorite thing
- 53:21Speaker 14: to see as people recognize that they can make this positive.
- 53:24Speaker 4: Change in their life and it doesn't have to be miserable.
- 53:27Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, and there's a couple of follow up thoughts
- 53:29Speaker 3: I have on that point specifically, but before we get
- 53:31Speaker 3: into that, I want to talk about the kind of
- 53:35Speaker 3: overweight epidemic that Americans specifically have. We are heavier than
- 53:40Speaker 3: we've ever been. We are less healthy because of that
- 53:44Speaker 3: weight that we're carrying with us, and it really does
- 53:48Speaker 3: contribute to a lot of other additional medical conditions, does
- 53:52Speaker 3: it not.
- 53:53Speaker 14: Yeah, so, right now, the stats show that seventy two
- 53:57Speaker 14: percent of Americans are struggling.
- 53:59Speaker 4: With being overweight or obese.
- 54:01Speaker 14: Specifically, forty two percent of us are obese, and we
- 54:05Speaker 14: know that over two hundred health conditions diseases are associated
- 54:10Speaker 14: with carrying as excess fat weight.
- 54:12Speaker 4: So you know, if we think about.
- 54:13Speaker 14: Our human bodies, I look at them as a miracle
- 54:16Speaker 14: as a gift that we've been given.
- 54:18Speaker 4: They just don't operate well in certain conditions.
- 54:21Speaker 14: They don't operate well if we don't give it sleep
- 54:24Speaker 14: and rest.
- 54:25Speaker 4: They don't operate well.
- 54:26Speaker 14: If we don't give it the vitamins and minerals we
- 54:29Speaker 14: need through food. They don't operate well. If we're carrying
- 54:31Speaker 14: significant excess fat weight. It's just not built to handle that. So, yeah,
- 54:36Speaker 14: it is a massive issue that we're facing.
- 54:39Speaker 3: And something happens from the time when we're younger till
- 54:43Speaker 3: whenever the magic switch gets flipped. Talk to us about
- 54:46Speaker 3: the psychology of a number, but it's not really it's
- 54:50Speaker 3: just a number, But what are the indicators that are
- 54:53Speaker 3: telling me that I am not where I want to
- 54:55Speaker 3: be and I need to get there?
- 54:57Speaker 4: Yeah, well, a few things.
- 54:58Speaker 14: The first thing you mentioned is really important because what
- 55:01Speaker 14: happens in our lives is we have these shifts.
- 55:04Speaker 4: And usually for men, it's some kind of lifestyle change.
- 55:08Speaker 14: It's something that results in stress or a job change,
- 55:11Speaker 14: a divorce, a.
- 55:12Speaker 4: Marriage, a new job.
- 55:15Speaker 14: I see so many men like you, Kevin, who were
- 55:18Speaker 14: active in college, they played a sport, they're used to
- 55:20Speaker 14: consuming a lot of food, and then they get a
- 55:22Speaker 14: real job, they go out in the world and their
- 55:25Speaker 14: body just does not tolerate food the same way that
- 55:28Speaker 14: it used to. And so a lot of people think,
- 55:30Speaker 14: what the heck, I'm not doing anything differently, why is
- 55:33Speaker 14: my body packing on the pounds. Well, what happens is
- 55:35Speaker 14: we have these shifts, these triggers, and they change our metabolism.
- 55:39Speaker 14: So our metabolism changes, and we don't change the way
- 55:42Speaker 14: that we eat around it. There's different life stages that
- 55:45Speaker 14: we all go through where we need to adjust our
- 55:48Speaker 14: nutrition so that our body can actually acknowledge what we're
- 55:51Speaker 14: consuming and not just store it as excess fat weight.
- 55:54Speaker 14: For women, these triggers are usually something hormonally related like
- 55:58Speaker 14: menopause or child earth, some kind of thyroid or some
- 56:03Speaker 14: kind of medication shift that shifts our hormones. So it's
- 56:08Speaker 14: really important to understand. This is why I say weight
- 56:10Speaker 14: gain is not your fault. It's all hormonally driven. Usually
- 56:15Speaker 14: starts like with a flip of a switch and a metabolic.
- 56:18Speaker 4: Trigger like you explained.
- 56:21Speaker 14: And then if we want to look at our bodies
- 56:23Speaker 14: to be able to determine where we truly need to
- 56:25Speaker 14: be our ideal healthy weight, I look at body composition,
- 56:30Speaker 14: So how much body fat or are you carrying? I
- 56:33Speaker 14: don't really care about the number on the scale. I
- 56:35Speaker 14: want to know what your body.
- 56:37Speaker 4: Is made up of.
- 56:38Speaker 14: For example, there could be two men who weigh two
- 56:40Speaker 14: hundred pounds and one carries a lot of muscle and
- 56:44Speaker 14: the other doesn't. That two hundred pounds doesn't mean anything.
- 56:48Speaker 14: I want to know, are you more muscle, are you
- 56:51Speaker 14: more fat? And so with our program, we really focus
- 56:54Speaker 14: on getting rid of the belly fat and making sure
- 56:56Speaker 14: that your fat.
- 56:57Speaker 4: Comes down to a healthy level.
- 57:00Speaker 14: And so that might be forty sixty pounds, but again
- 57:04Speaker 14: I don't care about that what the scale says, and
- 57:07Speaker 14: that number is going to adjust as you age, as
- 57:09Speaker 14: you have fluctuations in your muscle mass. So we really
- 57:13Speaker 14: want to look at body fat percentage. We want to
- 57:16Speaker 14: look at the belly fat, which we call visceral fat.
- 57:19Speaker 14: And I never look at BMI. And usually if you
- 57:21Speaker 14: go to a doctor, the doctor looks at BMI. It
- 57:24Speaker 14: is not a good indicator of health.
- 57:27Speaker 3: Actually, well, BMI is like a scary thing to me
- 57:30Speaker 3: because it's six foot two. You know, most of my
- 57:34Speaker 3: adult life, I've been between like two twenty and two
- 57:36Speaker 3: sixty six. And I know there are those of you,
- 57:38Speaker 3: by the way, listening in the car or watching on TV,
- 57:41Speaker 3: and you're going, Kevin, you're just like putting this stuff
- 57:43Speaker 3: out there. Yeah, I am, because I'm not afraid of
- 57:46Speaker 3: anything that we're talking about here, and I really want
- 57:49Speaker 3: to help people. And by the way, doctor Ashley Lucas
- 57:51Speaker 3: really wants to help you. And let me give you
- 57:54Speaker 3: her number so that you can call and get started
- 57:56Speaker 3: for yourself. Eight sixty four sixty four four nineteen hundred
- 57:59Speaker 3: eight six four six four four nineteen hundred And if
- 58:02Speaker 3: you mention the conversation that she's having with Kevin, Kevin
- 58:06Speaker 3: McCullough came see that, Kevin, show any any combination of
- 58:09Speaker 3: those things. They're going to give you two free weeks
- 58:11Speaker 3: and they're going to buy all your food. So what
- 58:14Speaker 3: do you have to lose? Give it a try and
- 58:16Speaker 3: see if it doesn't work better than anything else you've tried.
- 58:18Speaker 3: It has worked that way for me. But I want
- 58:21Speaker 3: to go back to BMI. We've recently changed health insurance
- 58:24Speaker 3: providers a couple of times in the last ten years.
- 58:27Speaker 3: The BMI thing. When you know, my wife's five seven
- 58:32Speaker 3: very trim, my kids are all super skinny like I
- 58:35Speaker 3: was when I was a kid. They all look like
- 58:37Speaker 3: a younger version of my bride and I I'm the
- 58:42Speaker 3: one that's plumped out the most and added the most
- 58:44Speaker 3: over the years. I'm also the oldest. I'm at fifty six.
- 58:49Speaker 3: But the insurance company would be like you could almost
- 58:51Speaker 3: literally hear them gasp on the phone, Oh goodness, he's morbid,
- 58:55Speaker 3: Like the word morbid came out of their mouth. And
- 58:57Speaker 3: I know it's just a classification, but doctor Lucas, that
- 59:01Speaker 3: stuff is scary. And when people hear it for the
- 59:03Speaker 3: first time, if they don't have the kind of frame
- 59:05Speaker 3: of reference that you're talking about and they're just hearing
- 59:08Speaker 3: that over the phone, that puts a lot of fear.
- 59:11Speaker 3: But I think a lot of depression into people.
- 59:14Speaker 14: It can't especially if people don't have hope around the
- 59:17Speaker 14: fact that they can create the change. You know, most
- 59:20Speaker 14: of our men drop about three pounds a week, most
- 59:23Speaker 14: of our women two to two and a half pounds.
- 59:25Speaker 14: And we have a natural approach. By the way, we
- 59:26Speaker 14: are not using drugs, We are not using medication. You
- 59:30Speaker 14: just have to give the body the right food, the
- 59:32Speaker 14: right inputs, the right signals.
- 59:34Speaker 4: A lot of us.
- 59:34Speaker 14: I think we hear this information, we get scared, and
- 59:37Speaker 14: then we say, oh, gosh, I need to just eat less,
- 59:40Speaker 14: I need to move more, or oh my only hope
- 59:42Speaker 14: is to go take a GLP one that is so
- 59:46Speaker 14: far from the truth. It's really sitting with it, understanding,
- 59:50Speaker 14: learning the body, and giving the body the right signals.
- 59:53Speaker 14: We can't force the body to lose weight. We have
- 59:55Speaker 14: to get the body to feel safe enough to be
- 59:57Speaker 14: able to release the fat weight that's no longer serving us.
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: And that's what we've done for.
- 1:00:02Speaker 14: You, Kevin, is we've you know, regulated your food intake
- 1:00:05Speaker 14: in a way where we were talking, you feel like
- 1:00:08Speaker 14: you're eating more than you usually do.
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: Oh, I'm definitely hating more food because I had gotten
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: to the point where I was like, Okay, I've kept
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: kind of inching on more pounds and so I'll just
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: like just fast all day and then just eat a
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: big dinner. Well, that didn't seem to work either, And
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: I learned from my PhD weight loss coach that my
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: body's my metabolism basically going to sleep for too long
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: of a period of time, and then with the lack
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: of activity and some other things, I wasn't training it
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: to burn the way it remembers how to burn when
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: you train it how to burn. So that's what we're
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: now in the state of, you know, ketosis, getting it
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: to burn fat naturally. And yeah, I was getting up
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: at six o'clock to eat a little bit of a
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: first bite of something in the morning, and I was like,
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: I've never done this before. And then by midday I'm like,
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: I'm really full. And then a very moderate sized dinner
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: to end things out. And then you can touch on
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: this a little bit. But the idea of giving the
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: body a chance to rest after doing all that work
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: for at least twelve hours is kind.
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: Of impan Yeah.
- 1:01:14Speaker 14: I always say that there are four main nutrients. There's carbs, protein, fat,
- 1:01:19Speaker 14: and meal timing.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: Actually, doctor Lucas, hold that thought. I'll take a break,
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: come right back. That Kevin Show brought to you in
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: part full disclosure by PhD Weight Loss called eight six
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: four six four four nineteen hundred.
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: The website's my phdweight loss dot com.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: Let's stick around for more of than Kevin.
- 1:01:38Speaker 11: Next here he is from New York.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: That Kevin, Kevin McCulloch.
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: Welcome back, Kevin, McCullough. Glad to be with you. I
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: should have said on the way out. The weightly website
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: is my phdweight loss dot com, my phdweight loss dot com,
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: and also the phone number eight six four six four
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: four nineteen hundred, that's where you can reach doctor Lucas's
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: friendly staff. And you were about to tell us several
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: things that we need to understand about the process.
- 1:02:24Speaker 14: Yeah, So we were talking about how we eat and
- 1:02:27Speaker 14: when we eat, and I was saying, there are four
- 1:02:29Speaker 14: main things we need to focus on carbs, protein, fat,
- 1:02:34Speaker 14: and when we eat. The timing of when we eat
- 1:02:37Speaker 14: is really important, and that really varies per individual. That's
- 1:02:40Speaker 14: why with PhD weight loss we really create customized meal plans,
- 1:02:45Speaker 14: guiding you specifically on exactly when, what, how much to eat.
- 1:02:49Speaker 14: So what you are doing, Kevin, would likely look different
- 1:02:52Speaker 14: than if you had.
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: A friend or a listener join. But what I have found.
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: In my book, that's great. If I'm just interrupt, that's great,
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: Because our bodies all work differently. We need a little
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: bit of tweaking with the general ideas.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:06Speaker 14: Yeah, And so today, you know, we've served over thirteen
- 1:03:09Speaker 14: thousand people, so I have seen patterns and one of
- 1:03:13Speaker 14: these patterns is that the body really needs time to
- 1:03:17Speaker 14: rest and recover.
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: Sleep is very important. I find that.
- 1:03:21Speaker 14: If a client comes in and they're doing all the
- 1:03:23Speaker 14: right things, they're eating according to their meal plan, they
- 1:03:26Speaker 14: don't have hunger, they don't have cravings, and they're still
- 1:03:29Speaker 14: not dropping weight. I look at sleep and I look
- 1:03:31Speaker 14: at stress. The body also needs time where you're not
- 1:03:35Speaker 14: eating so it can just rest and renew cells and
- 1:03:39Speaker 14: get rid of old cells and really.
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: Just replenish itself.
- 1:03:44Speaker 14: And if you're eating all the time, then the body's
- 1:03:46Speaker 14: always in a state of digestion and metabolism rather than.
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: Rest and renewal.
- 1:03:52Speaker 14: So that's why you were stating before we left for
- 1:03:54Speaker 14: this break, that you have a twelve hour window where
- 1:03:57Speaker 14: you don't eat. I do recommend not for the majority
- 1:04:01Speaker 14: of people. So for example, this would be stopping eating
- 1:04:05Speaker 14: at night at seven thirty pm, you finish dinner, and
- 1:04:09Speaker 14: then you don't eat again.
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: Until seven thirty am.
- 1:04:11Speaker 14: So you give your body those twelve hours and you're
- 1:04:14Speaker 14: sleeping hopefully a large majority of.
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: The chunk of that. Yeah. Yeah, Well, and the other
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: thing that I just was talking to with someone who
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: had had success with my PhD Weight Loss yesterday was
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: that insulin continues to every time you eat, the insulin
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: is activated more. And so if you're really trying to,
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: you know, be careful that that period of time in
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: which you're not eating does multiple things that are really
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: good for the body in the process of all of that.
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: And I just I friends, I'm going to tell you, well,
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: first of all, here's the phone number eight six four
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: six four four nineteen hundred eight six four six four
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: four nineteen hundred and when you talk to the friendly
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: voice on the other side, because there's no one that
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: works from I PhD Weight Loss that ain't friendly. They're
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: just all super nice people. Like it's kind of infuriating
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: how nice and wonderful they are. Call them and you'll
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: see eight six four six four four nineteen hundred and
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: mentioned that Kevin show when you call, but doctor Lucas
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: it was it was a reminder to me that the
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: body knows how to do a lot of this on
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: its own. Yeah, but we kind of badly program it
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: over time. With all of these lifestyle changes and adjustments
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: and the diet, most of us don't eat enough protein
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: to keep the body in kind of that optimal health, do.
- 1:05:36Speaker 14: We Yeah, And these days you see protein everywhere, so
- 1:05:40Speaker 14: it's getting easier and easier to consume. But most of us, yeah,
- 1:05:44Speaker 14: we're not eating adequate protein. We've been told that we
- 1:05:47Speaker 14: need to eat low fat because fat is bad, which
- 1:05:50Speaker 14: is not the truth. We've been told we need to
- 1:05:52Speaker 14: be vegan or vegetarian. I have clients come in where
- 1:05:55Speaker 14: they don't eat any oil and they're vegan. Our body
- 1:05:59Speaker 14: throws vibes on healthy fat. So if you think about
- 1:06:02Speaker 14: if you think about Mother Nature and what God provided
- 1:06:07Speaker 14: us with on Earth, are actually the perfect food. So
- 1:06:11Speaker 14: for example, an egg, an egg is nature's multi vitamin.
- 1:06:16Speaker 14: And here we have gone and told us that the
- 1:06:18Speaker 14: yolk is bad, that you should go and buy egg beaters,
- 1:06:22Speaker 14: processed version of eggs.
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: How it comes to us is perfect.
- 1:06:26Speaker 14: You guys, if you are eating eggs, eggs are a
- 1:06:29Speaker 14: really great food.
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: You want to make sure you eat the yolk because.
- 1:06:32Speaker 14: That's where all the vitamins and minerals come from, and
- 1:06:34Speaker 14: they're meant to be packaged together.
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: The egg white and the yolk together are.
- 1:06:37Speaker 14: Digested in a different way than just the egg white,
- 1:06:40Speaker 14: and especially very different than something that you'd buy in
- 1:06:43Speaker 14: a carton.
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: Same thing goes with cream. For example, heavy cream is
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: my favorite.
- 1:06:47Speaker 14: Food, Kevin, I hope you're putting half in half at
- 1:06:49Speaker 14: least in your coffee enjoying that half and half. Heavy
- 1:06:53Speaker 14: cream was not meant to be fat free, right, Butter
- 1:06:56Speaker 14: butter was not meant to be processed by man as margarine.
- 1:07:00Speaker 14: So I think if we just go back to our
- 1:07:02Speaker 14: roots and think, Okay, what has the earth? What is
- 1:07:04Speaker 14: Mother Nature provided to us? That is that includes beef,
- 1:07:08Speaker 14: that includes high quality animal protein, you know, very important
- 1:07:12Speaker 14: things that we need.
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: What about the people that say, but you're putting a
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: lot of high level of cholesterol into the body. And
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: I've read some of the debate about what really is
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: important when it comes to HDL and LDL. But but
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: then there's this completely different aspect of how safe and
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: measured everything is happening. That gives me a lot of
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: confidence that this is this is doing something good for
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: my body.
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: Yeah, the body needs fat to burn fat.
- 1:07:40Speaker 14: And so if you don't give the body enough fat also,
- 1:07:43Speaker 14: that's going to help to ruin the gall bladder. So
- 1:07:46Speaker 14: I'm sorry you went through that.
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: Well, it was not it was not a good experience,
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: but we won't talk about that anymore. That's that's like Voldemort.
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: We just the thing that will be That's right, PhD
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: my PhD weight loss dot Com Friends is where you
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: start the journey. My phdweight loss dot Com and you

- 1:08:08Speaker 3: two free weeks and they're going to buy all your food.
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: And I think that's about a fifteen hundred dollars value,
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: So it's a pretty incredible offer. Eight six four six

- 1:08:20Speaker 3: You have what do you have to lose except body
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: weight and feel better about yourself. I mean that's that's
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: that's the benefit. So call him today. Eight six four
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: sixty four four nineteen hundred. Kevin mckellaugh coming right back
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: with doctor Ashley Lucas stumble out.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: Let's stick around for more than Kevin.
- 1:08:38Speaker 11: Next here he is from New York exact Kevin, Kevin McCullough.
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: Welcome back. You know that I talk about wellness every
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: week on this same time and place, and what we
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: do is we kind of drop the headlines to the
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: side and say, how can we help you live better,
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: live more holistically, feel better, live longer. And that's why
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: we have everyone from top surgeons at you know here
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: in Manhattan, some of the biggest hospitals, to people that
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: are very concerned about fitness. I've had yoga instructors, nutritionis
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: all kinds of people on this segment of the show.
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: But I'm really delighted to have doctor Ashley Lucas with us.
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: She is the proprietor and founder of my PhD Weight Loss.
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: Myphdweight loss dot com is the website you can also
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: link through to there from that kevinshow dot com. And
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: this phone number, I want you to write it down
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: because it's one of the most important phone numbers you
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: could have. Eight six four six four four nineteen hundred
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: eight six four six four four nineteen hundred, Doctor Lucas.
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: A lot of people tell themselves, if I just eat
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: less and if I really hit the cardio to I'm
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: going to achieve the weight loss goal that I have,
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: and then it doesn't work. What's going on with that?
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: Why does heavy cardio sometimes not perform the results that
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: we think and we've been told that it will.
- 1:10:18Speaker 14: Yeah, it's the opposite. Often of what we think will
- 1:10:22Speaker 14: happen here. We're tracking our food, we're using my fitness
- 1:10:26Speaker 14: Pal or some kind of app. We get on the
- 1:10:28Speaker 14: elliptical machine, or we take a spin class and we're
- 1:10:32Speaker 14: just watching the numbers in red, saying, oh my gosh,
- 1:10:35Speaker 14: you've got this massive deficit.
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: You should be losing weight.
- 1:10:38Speaker 14: And then we step on the scale and the scale
- 1:10:41Speaker 14: is not moving, or it's moving in the opposite direction
- 1:10:43Speaker 14: that we want it to, and that can be so
- 1:10:46Speaker 14: so frustrating.
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: You think, what's that I said?
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: You think, yeah, yeah, and.
- 1:10:52Speaker 14: Then we get we give up, you know, we think,
- 1:10:54Speaker 14: oh my gosh, it's not worth this suffering, and then
- 1:10:56Speaker 14: we think that it's our fault, that we're a failure,
- 1:10:59Speaker 14: that we have a suppline issue, or that we lack willpower,
- 1:11:02Speaker 14: when it really has nothing to do with you whatsoever.
- 1:11:05Speaker 14: The body is responding to signals, and what we need
- 1:11:08Speaker 14: to do is give the body.
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: The correct signals.
- 1:11:11Speaker 14: What happens is we need the body to feel safe
- 1:11:14Speaker 14: enough to be able to release the fat. A lot
- 1:11:16Speaker 14: of us think we need to just force the body harder.
- 1:11:19Speaker 14: We need to eat less, we need to track, we
- 1:11:22Speaker 14: need to exercise more, and we need to burn calories. Oftentimes,
- 1:11:27Speaker 14: I think both men and women believe they need to
- 1:11:29Speaker 14: burn calories. I think women specifically a little bit more.
- 1:11:33Speaker 14: When I go into the gym, I see all the
- 1:11:36Speaker 14: women lined up on the cardio machines and the men
- 1:11:39Speaker 14: lifting weights, and I think men who want to lose
- 1:11:43Speaker 14: weight also gravitate toward the cardio machines because it's all
- 1:11:47Speaker 14: about calories in and calories out.
- 1:11:50Speaker 4: Now, I'm not saying.
- 1:11:51Speaker 14: That we defy the law of thermodynamics. That's a part
- 1:11:54Speaker 14: of it looking at that. But Kevin, when you've been
- 1:11:58Speaker 14: working with PhD, have we ever talked about calories?
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: No?
- 1:12:03Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: Have we ever counted a thing?
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: No?
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: No, yeah.
- 1:12:07Speaker 14: I don't even have any idea how many calories my
- 1:12:09Speaker 14: clients are consuming because it's the type of food that dictates.
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: What our hormones do.
- 1:12:15Speaker 14: So, for example, a thousand calories worth of banana versus
- 1:12:19Speaker 14: a thousand calories worth of egg is going to give
- 1:12:21Speaker 14: the body a totally different physiological response. It's the same
- 1:12:25Speaker 14: amount of calories, but if you had a thousand calories
- 1:12:27Speaker 14: of eggs, you would be full. Your insulin would not spike,
- 1:12:31Speaker 14: your glucose would not spike, and you would end up
- 1:12:34Speaker 14: likely eating less throughout the day and just feeling more calm.
- 1:12:36Speaker 14: Your mood would be regulated as compared to if you
- 1:12:40Speaker 14: consumed a thousand calories of banana, you'd have a blood
- 1:12:42Speaker 14: sugar high, an insulin high, a blood sugar crash, and
- 1:12:45Speaker 14: you'd be eating an hour later. A totally different response there.
- 1:12:48Speaker 14: So that's why calories in and calories out is very
- 1:12:51Speaker 14: confusing and it's not the whole story. The same thing
- 1:12:55Speaker 14: goes with exercise. If you go and you just try
- 1:12:58Speaker 14: to force calories out, your body kind of shuts down
- 1:13:01Speaker 14: a little bit. And there's been a lot of research
- 1:13:03Speaker 14: to show that when heavier individuals increase their exercise, their
- 1:13:07Speaker 14: metabolism reduces by ten to fifteen percent, could be more
- 1:13:12Speaker 14: depending on the strenuous type or level of activity. The
- 1:13:16Speaker 14: more intense it is, the more the metabolism might shut
- 1:13:19Speaker 14: down because it's thinking, oh my gosh, this is you know,
- 1:13:22Speaker 14: I'm running after a lion.
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: This is a stress response.
- 1:13:25Speaker 14: I'm going to hold on to this energy, specifically the
- 1:13:28Speaker 14: fat and the belly, so that I have an energy
- 1:13:30Speaker 14: reserve when the next threat comes by. So instead I'm
- 1:13:34Speaker 14: not saying that we need to be sedentary movement is
- 1:13:37Speaker 14: really important, but it's no and.
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: Your people have talked to me about that. I mean,
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: my coach says, how much movement are you doing? But
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: it's not go hit the go, hit the elliptical for
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: an hour, it's have you taken a twenty minute walk today? Yeah?
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: Very different mindset, very different.
- 1:13:53Speaker 14: Yeah, walking is the number one most important thing you
- 1:13:56Speaker 14: can do for your health and for your brain and
- 1:13:59Speaker 14: for your bones.
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: Very important.
- 1:14:01Speaker 14: And then on top of that, once you get into
- 1:14:03Speaker 14: the state of understanding what you're eating and how your
- 1:14:06Speaker 14: body is responding. I like resistance training, so lifting something
- 1:14:11Speaker 14: heavy and sometimes that can feel daunting.
- 1:14:13Speaker 4: You don't have to go to the gym for that.
- 1:14:15Speaker 14: It could be body weight, it could be resistance bands,
- 1:14:19Speaker 14: it could be dog food, it could be your kids,
- 1:14:21Speaker 14: your grandkids. But it needs to be something where you're
- 1:14:24Speaker 14: overloading the muscles, especially when you are losing weight and
- 1:14:29Speaker 14: double double especially if you're taking a GOLP one medication,
- 1:14:33Speaker 14: you must lift heavy things.
- 1:14:36Speaker 4: There's no way around it. You know.
- 1:14:38Speaker 14: People think that these GLP one medications are just the
- 1:14:41Speaker 14: magic pill and they don't have to do anything to
- 1:14:44Speaker 14: lose weight and keep it off and do it in
- 1:14:46Speaker 14: healthy weight. You still have to do all the things.
- 1:14:48Speaker 14: You still have to eat right, you have to eat
- 1:14:50Speaker 14: enough protein, and you foresure have to lift weights.
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: Well, I got to tell you, I had people that
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: tried the shots, and the shots themselves are painful, and
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: then usually when they went off of them, they gained
- 1:15:04Speaker 3: it all right back. And that's why I called Mike
- 1:15:06Speaker 3: Gallagher that day and said, Hey, I don't want to
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: do something that's just going to put it back on
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: as soon as I'm as soon as I'm off the program,
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: I want to I want to develop the healthy plan
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: for long term life. And one of the people I
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: spoke with, who's a former my PhD weight loss success story,
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: they still eat the way they did when they were
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: on the program, even though they're no longer on the program.
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: You know, lose forty pounds and they're still eating the
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: same way. And guess what, it's been a good little
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: while and they look better than ever and haven't gained
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: it back. And then what I was not expecting was
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: the better sleep. What I was not expecting was my
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: blood pressure. Doctor Lucas, we ran out of time, but
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: my blood pressure had been in the dangerous zone up
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: in the higher registers and without medication, I am down
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: into the healthy and safe zones again on both numbers.
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: And the only change, the only change is my PhD
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: weight us in the program and what I'm learning and
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: how I'm eating.
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: How long did that take to see it?
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: About two weeks?
- 1:16:05Speaker 14: Can you believe that the body wants to operate in
- 1:16:08Speaker 14: the in a healthy way?
- 1:16:09Speaker 4: It really does. We just have to give it the
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: right signals and then it starts.
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: Eight six four six four four nineteen hundred. Is the
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: number eight six four sixty four four nineteen hundred or
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: Myphdweight loss Dot com mention that Kevin Show, get two
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: weeks free and get your food paid for by my
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: PhD weight loss doctor Lucas. Please come back. I would
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: love to thank all right, Kevin McCollough coming back from
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: New York.
- 1:16:32Speaker 15: Don't go any well, let's stick around for more of
- 1:16:36Speaker 15: that Kevin next, serving it up with a no drink minum.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: It's that Kenvin Show.
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: All right, Welcome back, Kevin mccallaugh. Thankful to have you
- 1:16:59Speaker 3: with us. And it's one of those days where I just,
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: I don't know, I get discouraged when I see things
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: like this. You've heard about the circumstances of kids divorcing
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: their own parents or cutting off their own parents. Well,
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: there's five new reasons why they're saying they're doing that,
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: and I'll get into them in just a second. But
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: before I do that, have you helped us deliver a
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: Bible to those who need it in places where Christians
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: are so persecuted they are not allowed to have bibles,
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: or where the economy is so bad they can't afford them,
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: or where they are in terms of remote locations it's
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: impossible to get them to them. Bible League International overcomes
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: all of these issues to specifically get the Bible to
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: the person who's in need of it. And we are hoping, praying,
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: trying to get to the number of three thousand bibles
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: sent before the end of this weekend, and yesterday were
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: closing in on two thousand bibles. That would mean that
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: just you know, a few more would help us get there.
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: Could you do thirty bibles? That's a one time gift
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: of one hundred and fifty dollars. Could you do one
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: hundred bibles? If we just had ten of you that
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: did one hundred bibles, that would help. That's a five
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: hundred dollars gift and ten of you doing that would
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: get us the rest of the way to those three
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: thousand Bibles, but we need your help. One eight hundred
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: yes word is the number one eight hundred yes word.
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: Or you can go to that kevinshow dot com, click
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: on the banner at the top of the page, and
- 1:18:42Speaker 3: send the gift on its way, and then pray that
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: the outcome of where those Bibles land really matters. Bible
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: League has for eighty nine years been able to trace
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: that about twelve people have come to a saving knowledge
- 1:18:55Speaker 3: of Jesus for every Bible that they've shipped out, which
- 1:18:59Speaker 3: is pretty remarkable. One eight hundred yes word or go
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: to that kevinshow dot com and click on the banner
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: at the top of the page. Now five new reasons.
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: Based on research and work in the field of family estrangement,
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: Doctor Richard Blake, a British psychologist and author based in Austin, Texas,
- 1:19:17Speaker 3: is sharing five factors that he believes commonly contribute to
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: fractured families, specifically kids and parents going their separate ways.
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: Number one, political and value differences. A long standing study
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: of more than two thousand mother adult child relationships found
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: that value dissimilarity was a strong predictor of estrangement and
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: suggesting differing beliefs that may play a large role in
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: family riffs. So if they disagree on politics. Social media
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: influence number two. It's been linked to poorer parent child relationships.
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: A study of ninety eight hundred teens found that spending
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: more than two hours a day on social media was
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: linked to significantly greater odds of negative relationships with one
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: or both parents. Number three. Therapy culture, and this, my friends,
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: is out of control. In fact, I think the whole
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: push to make therapy more present in the culture created
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: more people who needed more therapy. But the same experts
- 1:20:15Speaker 3: also pointed to what he described as therapy culture, claiming
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: that the changing attitudes toward trauma and abuse have influenced
- 1:20:20Speaker 3: how many people view relationships with their parents, and that's
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: just another reason why they're cutting their parents off in
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: their situation. Communication breakdowns number four. The way families communicate
- 1:20:34Speaker 3: during a conflict can determine whether disagreements escalate into long
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: term estrangement. It's important to listen, noting that hostage negotiation
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: can be useful in these scenarios that means listening to
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: the other person and then repeating back what they said
- 1:20:51Speaker 3: as you understood it, and validating that, and then waiting
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: until that person's really finished before you give your side
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: of it. It raises the issue of moralized language or
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: therapy world words such as abuse, toxic boundaries, narcissist, gas lighting, etc.
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: And then, fifthly outside influences, saying that romantic partners and
- 1:21:11Speaker 3: evolving parenting philosophies can contribute to family estrangement.
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: Friends.
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: I don't want any families to be estranged. I want
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: moms and dads and kids to have healthy relationships with
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: one another. Isn't that the least that we can do
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: for one another. I think we can do better than
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: divorcing each other completely. That's my opinion. I'm Calvin McCullough.
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: We'll see you next time.
