- 0:12So I just want to put this up there.
- 0:14This was the interaction between the Senator and the Senate
- 0:17hearing and the head of the FBI. This is regarding the 14 year
- 0:22old boy who was charged after being the subject of the covert
- 0:26operation. It's absolutely disgusting And
- 0:31you know, kudos to the senator for pointing out or questioning.
- 0:37Is there anyone actually held accountable?
- 0:39This is, and like I've been saying consistently, this is the
- 0:43main issue we have with with law enforcement over the last couple
- 0:48of years. No one is held accountable for
- 0:50anything. It's all started.
- 0:53I believe in the pandemic. Sorry, I mispronounced it the
- 0:57the plan. Then we can always forget the L
- 1:00It all started in the pandemic where meeting where police were
- 1:06told hey, you're not you, you make mistakes.
- 1:08That's that's understandable and you won't be held accountable.
- 1:16And this is what happens when you don't.
- 1:18When you're not held accountable, you basically just
- 1:21think you can run amok and do whatever you want.
- 1:25And it's not far from the truth, to be honest.
- 1:28No one's held accountable and we the people pay the price.
- 1:32Age of the individual, and you have not.
- 1:34He was 13 at the time and then and then and then became 14.
- 1:38We put in place significant safeguards in terms of how that
- 1:41person was engaged and again noting all operational
- 1:45strategies in relation to this matter would jointly agreed
- 1:48through set processes and constructs of the JCT with
- 1:53Victoria Police and Israel and ultimately as a result of our
- 1:56action, DPP agreed to to to the line of two serious charges.
- 2:01And the court found that in fact it was the AFP that was
- 2:06radicalised in the child. And I'll read you the conclusion
- 2:08from the magistrate by its conduct in attempting to
- 2:12radicalise TC for the purposes of of gaining evidence to
- 2:15prosecute TC for the offences with which he's been charged.
- 2:19The AFP has completely and inevitably undermined the
- 2:22therapeutic process initiated by TC's parents and the Countering
- 2:26Violent Extremism to seek to help to engage TC in the
- 2:30therapeutic and rehabilitative process.
- 2:32The radicalisation was happening as a result of the actions of
- 2:36your own offices. Do you accept the magistrates
- 2:40finding? Knowledge the ministry, it's
- 2:42fine and we accept the file input.
- 2:44So you'll radicalising the kids? Final question, You're
- 2:46radicalising a 13 year old boy with autism.
- 2:50Has anyone been held to account? Have you been held to account?
- 2:53Has the undercover operatives have been held to account?
- 2:56Has anyone been held to account for the final question?
- 2:58So this in relation to to that question, it was not a position
- 3:02or intent to you. Dedicate.
- 3:04If you can let me finish the question, Senator.
- 3:07The person was on the the path radicalisation long before we
- 3:10became involved, long before Factoria Police came and found
- 3:13it. Was the AFP who recommended he
- 3:15become a sniper and a suicide bomber senator.
- 3:18It was the AFP who put that in his mind.
- 3:21A 13 year old boy with autism with an IQ of 71.
- 3:25Is anyone held to account for this?
- 3:27This. How's that?
- 3:30It was the AFP who put that in the boy's mind that he should
- 3:35become a a sniper and the suicide bomber, wife of the AFP
- 3:42to really help. I mean the poor parents, Their
- 3:45first mistake was going to the police for help.
- 3:51Obscene abuse. Obscene abuse of power and
- 3:54authority. So, Senator, that was not that
- 3:56was not our intent and not our purpose.
- 3:57What? You did, Yeah.
- 3:59It wasn't our intent. We didn't mean to do it, but we
- 4:02did do it. Senator wasn't our intent in
- 4:05terms of. Indeed.
- 4:07So in terms of you following up from that question, there's a
- 4:09range of reviews that are happening in relation to this
- 4:12matter. More than harmful?
- 4:15More than happy to come back before as a matter of
- 4:17transparency and confidence, I'm more than happy to come back
- 4:20before this committee and take your.
- 4:22Here with no consequences. They're out there with no
- 4:24consequences, no one else. We're going to move on, Senator.
- 4:29Should reach. There you go.
- 4:32Yep. The senator, the senators,
- 4:34right. Absolutely right.
- 4:36You're here with no consequences.
- 4:37They're out there with no consequences.
- 4:39Like I keep saying, no one is held accountable or anything.
- 4:45So what? This has been going on for
- 4:49years. It's just getting worse and
- 4:50worse in this nation. I edited the previous episode
- 4:55that I that I did regarding this story and just took out this
- 4:58this story from the rest of it. So it's only it's not nearly as
- 5:01long as the other episode. So you can go back and listen to
- 5:04what? In case because the notice a lot
- 5:06of people just listen to like half the episodes anyway.
- 5:09Did that. Check it out.
- 5:12Thanks for listening to the slippery slope.
