- 0:05MB R Talk. Hey, thanks for supporting our
- 0:07channel by watching and listening.
- 0:11Radio dot. Gorilla
- 0:37Through it can't be. This is crazy and if nobody at
- 0:43home knows who this guy is, this is the big dog.
- 0:45And he did get a tip from the Brooklyn prodigies earlier on
- 0:50that they had travel issues, but not due to them being.
- 0:53Scared or anything like that? What is up?
- 1:46What is up? Happy Sunday, happy fun day.
- 1:48What is going on with my peoples today?
- 1:51It's Sunday fun day and it's also turnbuckles and stovey pie
- 1:55day. I am the big dog that is the
- 1:58vanilla gorilla, and we are here to start out your Sunday morning
- 2:04after church or before church or during church, however you're
- 2:07doing it. Follow us on all streaming
- 2:09networks and check us out. You can go back four years.
- 2:13So that's all I got to say. So what do you want to talk
- 2:17about today? What do you want to talk about?
- 2:22Let's start with some wrestling, and you know who I'm going to
- 2:26start with? No, I don't.
- 2:28Sammy fucking Zane. Justice for Sami Zayn.
- 2:36He pulled it off in Mexico City, Mexico last night.
- 2:42Yeah, 'cause then they're there Monday.
- 2:43They're not. They're there tonight for AAA
- 2:47for the second part of Triple Mania, and then Monday night is
- 2:54Penta and Roman for the title. They're in Mexico.
- 3:01Yeah, they're, they're in Mexico for the next couple days.
- 3:03They did it Friday, so they're there tonight.
- 3:05Tomorrow night. They'll probably get a house
- 3:07show yesterday somewhere. I don't mind it.
- 3:10I don't mind. Saying he's the fucking man, he
- 3:13lost it in nine days, but he's going to.
- 3:16Hold. Yeah.
- 3:18If he doesn't hold on to it, he's going to lose it to Randy,
- 3:22not right away. It that's, that's where it's
- 3:24going to probably wind up is with Randy, because I think he's
- 3:28going to wind up before he hangs it up.
- 3:30I think he's in the same class for 17 as John, and that sounds
- 3:35about right. No, he's got five years left.
- 3:38If not more than that. Now I think Randy's getting
- 3:41ready to pack him, and he's been doing it 30 years.
- 3:44If not, what? He's going to go as long as his
- 3:45body lets him go. And it ain't that far away, so.
- 3:50But yeah, I think that was pretty dope.
- 3:53Sammy when the belt was good. Triple Mania night one was good.
- 3:57The main event was was good. That was Amos and Ray for Amos
- 4:03his job and. Did he save his job?
- 4:06Yeah, he he beat him. He beat Ray of.
- 4:08Course. He did, but what I did like is
- 4:13his year for Triple Mania for Ray was a tribute or a throwback
- 4:21to his Halloween Havoc 1997 year.
- 4:24Really, when he wrestled Eddie and Eddie basically ripped his
- 4:27mask almost completely off. Nice.
- 4:30He did the yeah, he had the old, like the old design.
- 4:33I mean, he wore his his baggy pants and his his jacket like he
- 4:36always does, but it had that same design pattern as his 1997
- 4:42match, which pretty cool. Nice.
- 4:45Yeah. I mean, there's I, I, I would
- 4:48like to see Sammy and Randy. I would like to see Randy get a
- 4:52run with the belt. I think it's going to be good if
- 4:53he does a lot of interesting matches.
- 4:56I think, I think before Sammy loses the belt, you're going to
- 5:01get a Sammy and KO match somehow.
- 5:05Not sure how, I don't know. I I think it'll be an
- 5:08interesting. What are best friends in real?
- 5:11Life. It'll be an interesting match.
- 5:16I mean, a lot of us out there still wondering what happened to
- 5:18El Generico, still wondering where he's been.
- 5:20Well, everybody said on Saturday on on on Friday, he should have
- 5:25came out as El Generico. No, El Generico.
- 5:27We don't know what happened to him.
- 5:28Sami Zayn showed up and El Generico disappeared.
- 5:31We don't know what happened to him.
- 5:32We know we don't know what happened to him.
- 5:35Yeah, I mean, there's there's a lot that's happened.
- 5:39AE WS been good. Raw has has picked up a lot of
- 5:45interest lately from me. Well, with with Royce Keys and
- 5:50and those guys. And.
- 5:52And Jacob fought 2 and how that all ties in.
- 5:55And I mean I could. I could see Roman being the
- 5:59front man behind Royce 946 to bring Solo back to the family.
- 6:06I could see Jacob being the front man for them and attacking
- 6:09the bloodline. I mean, it could be honestly, it
- 6:14it could be Seth Rollins. I mean, Roman is a very
- 6:17out-of-the-box kind of thought. I could see Seth Rollins because
- 6:22he hasn't been seen since he lost.
- 6:25I mean, it's it's possible then you have could have been rolled.
- 6:31Yeah, it's I Roman's a very out-of-the-box thought.
- 6:34Seth Rollins maybe. Damn, I you know, it could be
- 6:40Jacob. Does him and Royce go all the
- 6:43way back? Could it be Solo behind the 946
- 6:47and had him lay him out on purpose that it doesn't look
- 6:51like him? I think.
- 6:56I think what's going to happen is they're going to go to layout
- 6:59Solo and I think Jacob and the Usos are going to help him and
- 7:02that's going to kind of put Solo back in the family somehow.
- 7:06I'm just not sure how yet. I can see that.
- 7:10What? I I think that's going to be an
- 7:14interesting thing to watch. And then you have all of the,
- 7:18you know, the AAA aspects coming in with their belts being
- 7:21defended on live TV. They resurrected the AAA Latin
- 7:25American Championships they did, which they gave to La Parka.
- 7:32Yeah. I mean, that is, it's, there's
- 7:35so much to cover in such little time that you'd have to do an
- 7:40entire episode on just that. Which you can do.
- 7:44Which you could do. It's not hard because you got
- 7:49Money in the Bank coming up. You got All Out coming up.
- 7:52You have TN as Bound for Glory next month.
- 7:57You have NXT on the 26th. I believe the same.
- 8:03I think either, I think it's yeah, money in the banks and
- 8:08this month or next month and then all out or all yeah, all
- 8:13out and and another pay-per-view go head to head.
- 8:15Well, let's get back to NXT. I think it's an NXT show.
- 8:20Let's get back to NXT. Or is it a AAA show?
- 8:22It's one of them. We have another bloodline
- 8:25member. He's been there, in there.
- 8:28He's only been there two weeks. He's no, he's going on almost a
- 8:31month. Almost, but not yet.
- 8:33He's been there two weeks, Mr. Zilla.
- 8:36Far too. Do you think he's coming up to
- 8:40the blood? Not yet.
- 8:41Not yet. You don't think so?
- 8:42Not yet. Why?
- 8:44It's too early. It's too early for him to come
- 8:48up yet. Think him and Jacob are going to
- 8:50team up? Could be.
- 8:51I could see that. That would be some.
- 8:53I mean, they did that on the Indy.
- 8:54So it's not, it's not an impossible feat to to have.
- 8:59I think somehow maybe Jacob takes over the bloodline and
- 9:04then Zilla comes up from there. I don't know it's going to
- 9:07depend, but yeah, there's there's a lot.
- 9:14I mean, you know that that world title contendership down there,
- 9:19AAA got a lot more interesting because Damien Priest is broken
- 9:22away from our. Truth now?
- 9:23Well, that wasn't by choice. Yeah, yeah.
- 9:29I mean, I feel like it was at this point, but I think he's
- 9:31going after the AAA Mega Championship.
- 9:33Who's that? Which is right now Dominic, but
- 9:37he faces El Grande Americano tonight for the title, and I
- 9:41think that's where he loses it. Who's that Damian priest?
- 9:44No Grande Americano faces Dominic for the world title
- 9:46tonight on Triple Mania Part 2. You have the 15 man battle
- 9:50royal. You have the tag team, title
- 9:53match versus team to be determined.
- 9:59I think I have an idea of what team that's going to be because
- 10:02they've made it clear they want to wrestle in AAA in Mexico and
- 10:06with the partnerships, I think you could see the Hardies go to
- 10:09Mexico. So you have the women's title on
- 10:16the line again tonight. Yeah.
- 10:19I think the Rey, the Arenas championship, I think the rate,
- 10:23no, yeah, that's on the line. Something else is on the line.
- 10:27There's a bunch of titles on the line tonight.
- 10:28It's going to be interesting. So on that note, let's.
- 10:35Take a break. Let's take a quick little break
- 10:37and then we're going to come back with our guest.
- 10:41Oh, we got two of them in there. I didn't know he was in there.
- 10:46Bring up his friend. What is up?
- 13:40What is up? It is turnbuckles and stogies
- 13:42pot. I am the host, the big dog, my
- 13:45Co host, the vanilla gorilla and that's right, we have a special
- 13:49guest with us today and he is bring him up.
- 13:55The interview of the week is brought to you by Jersey Mike's,
- 14:00a sub above. Mr. Ishmael Alavan, BAMF Cigars,
- 14:09thank you today for bringing up and coming on, and we appreciate
- 14:13the cigars. And right now I'm smoking around
- 14:16the world. It's a fucking damn good cigar,
- 14:18by the way. Thank you.
- 14:20Thank you. So how you guys doing get ready
- 14:22to light up the marvel now we're.
- 14:25Doing well. We're doing well.
- 14:27So tell us a little bit about your how you came up with these
- 14:36three cigars, the Marvel, the Seville?
- 14:38No, it's the Seville. I tried to tell him that but he
- 14:41don't listen. Seville and yeah, yeah and and.
- 14:48Around the world, oh this the Sebiga is I'm shocked that the,
- 14:52you know, so many years in the industry, all the industry
- 14:55making cigars and nobody nothing about Sebiga 1676.
- 15:00Why the the 1676? Well, because actually with the
- 15:05cigar as we know today, with a fielder, A binder and a rapper,
- 15:09it was not done like a people feeling queue.
- 15:11It was not. It was done in Sebiga, Spain in
- 15:14191676. And nobody had nothing like
- 15:18that. Yeah, you, you have another, you
- 15:20know, all the names in Spanish, all these, whatever you want to
- 15:24say, but never it was a cigar done like this.
- 15:27So what I did is OK, go back in history and to see how it was
- 15:32done, what it was, the farms that they use and all that.
- 15:35Some of them still this day, some of them did not, but I got
- 15:39the tobaccos from Estre Maduro to South Spain and the rapper is
- 15:44from Gran Canaria, one of the aisles very close to Africa,
- 15:47still Spain, but it's in but it's very South and that is
- 15:52Seville then around the world. I want to do people know me for
- 15:56do you know a lot of weed blends and many countries or whatever.
- 16:01So let's see how many countries I come.
- 16:03I say, yeah, so let's see how many countries I can put him and
- 16:05see got. So actually the the the marble,
- 16:10it was the first around the world.
- 16:12But I want to put three more countries, which it was Spain,
- 16:16France and Greece. But I didn't have enough cigars
- 16:22to make to justify, you know, to import those cigars or to export
- 16:26for those three countries, three countries to import into the
- 16:28yard. And well, somebody came by when
- 16:32I have only 14 cigars in in that, which is the marble.
- 16:37Somebody came from Saudi Arabia and he just want to say hello
- 16:41and we have something and I was smoking one.
- 16:43So the guy tried and say, oh, can this be my cigars?
- 16:46You pay for it. Yeah, it can be your cigar.
- 16:49And it was his no finished product.
- 16:50So that's when the marble came. And then probably about a year
- 16:56later, something like that, almost two years later is when
- 16:59they run the world came. So she has 17 countries.
- 17:03So it's it's a lot. And people think, oh, but how
- 17:05you put 17 countries in a cigar should be like this, you know,
- 17:08like a famous muffler. Muffler like this.
- 17:11I say, no, man, you don't. You don't use a full leaves.
- 17:13You have to use whatever you need to make the cigar
- 17:16consistent. And that's how we came.
- 17:18That's how we came. Yeah.
- 17:20Wow. Yes, Sir.
- 17:22Wow. So I know you're making a lot of
- 17:27cigars for a lot of people. So I also heard that you were
- 17:33making some for Jay-Z. Is that correct?
- 17:38So Jay-Z. Yes.
- 17:40Jay-Z would which one because it's like a two or three JC's
- 17:47yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 17:50It's not it's not it's not like a it's not like like we making C
- 17:55gas for him. It wasn't, it is still on the on
- 17:59the work and all that, but these guys, they can go to lead to you
- 18:02and the next day to another guy. So it's nothing.
- 18:04It's no Contra science. It's nothing like that.
- 18:07But we do for a lot of people, you know, a lot of people that
- 18:11they well known. That's that's for sure.
- 18:13But the security will come sooner or later.
- 18:16So tell us about what's going on with the TPA, because you know
- 18:19me and Joey, TPA members. And I.
- 18:22Totally forgot to get my tickets and with things going on right
- 18:27now, I don't think I'm going to make it this year.
- 18:29So tell us about the TPA. This event that's coming up,
- 18:32this is delicious so far. Thank you.
- 18:35That's demarable. Yeah, that was said 325.
- 18:38And if you see, I'm not even, I'm not even through that first
- 18:41initial light yet. And I'm I'm there's a lot of
- 18:45different nuances and, and flavors just in that beginning
- 18:50like. The thing we're doing joy what
- 18:52is what is going to give you that cigar both and around the
- 18:55world is like when you think that you have already the note
- 18:59of the cigar. 2 bucks later that note is gone and a new one
- 19:03comes. So you see when you think that
- 19:05you have it, it's been changed to different one.
- 19:08That's that was the whole. Right now like I had.
- 19:11The whole idea. Notes already, but tell us about
- 19:14the TPA event that's coming up. In October also with the TPA
- 19:18which is part of is the Tobacco Products Association.
- 19:21It was founded in or created back in May 2024.
- 19:27So 2 years and a few months but actually took off in 2025
- 19:32because one of the other people involved Co founded.
- 19:36It was moving. The only guys were very busy.
- 19:38One of them is the CFI fighters. It was busy as well with
- 19:41training people, the the new guys and whatever.
- 19:44And I was traveling all over. So actually took in 2025 when,
- 19:48when we start to to go, you know, and we have what like 104
- 19:52reasons in seats. When I say seats, it's because,
- 19:55you know, one person can have, I don't know, for instance, you
- 20:00guys, you have one seat, but it's two people.
- 20:03So it's another people that have one seat.
- 20:04But but all together we are well over 400 members and what we do
- 20:10is just say something that nobody did.
- 20:12And it's mostly for consumers. And media like your like you
- 20:17guys because I mean at the end of the day, if he's no consumer,
- 20:22he's no retailers if he's no. Retailers, and that's why I
- 20:25think you know that and I told everybody, that's probably my
- 20:27favorite part of the TPA is it brings everybody together, the
- 20:32consumers, the retailers, media, factory owners, brand owners.
- 20:36It literally puts everybody that you could want to talk to or get
- 20:40to know in one spot. And we've had people on there
- 20:43that we help get into the TPA, like Carolina Blue.
- 20:48I mean. There's so many people on there
- 20:50that we help get in there and we told them just tell them we sent
- 20:54you and blah, blah and this and that.
- 20:56So TPA is the real thing, guys. It's not a bullshit story.
- 20:59It's a real deal and. Every every Wednesday.
- 21:03Every Wednesday we meet on the Zoom. 8:00 Eastern Time, Yep.
- 21:08And well, and now it's going to be it was one the first TPA was
- 21:13down here by me in Wellington about four miles.
- 21:16But I say you see you guys that you went to during July, July
- 21:19over here is Hiramis. You can have 100° or you can
- 21:24have 70 or can be sunny. You can be a hurricane.
- 21:28You never know. And sure enough, you were like
- 21:31120° of course in the lounge, the EC has to go down.
- 21:36And of course it came freaking tornado in the middle.
- 21:40It took tense, it took everything, everything that I
- 21:43said that it could happen, it happened at once.
- 21:46But but we have fun. So now we have the the second
- 21:49one, which is Smokefest TPA Smokefest 2026.
- 21:53It will be October 1st to the third actually selling days.
- 21:57It will be Friday the 2nd, Saturday the 3rd.
- 22:00The 1st is like a meet and greet.
- 22:01So Thursday all the vendors get together VIP see they do as
- 22:05well. You know, have a Lil Dean, a Lil
- 22:07he he have a party and smoke some cigars.
- 22:10And then the serious days is Friday and Saturday.
- 22:12It's already 25 or 26 vendors. We have all the sponsors covered
- 22:16already. I believe he's like 6-7
- 22:19sponsors. He's gonna be rolling class that
- 22:24I will be doing that class on Friday, 11:00 to 12:11 to 1,
- 22:29whatever, depends the people. Then it will be a pairing class
- 22:33that we doing as well. In Saturday it's four or five
- 22:35different companies that bring from wine to brown to whiskey to
- 22:39coffee to whatever and we are going to be making live.
- 22:43I'm going to try the drinks before so I can pre roll some of
- 22:46them because if it's 40 or 50 VI pays 4 drinks each.
- 22:52You know it's 200 cigars. Do 200 cigars.
- 22:54You got to know exactly what to give them that pairs each with
- 22:57that pairs well with each one, yeah.
- 23:00So I want to have preyed on. It's going to be just like a
- 23:02little Toscano SOG aviators. Obviously you cannot smoke a 50
- 23:06by 6 in his drink. It will take you the whole day,
- 23:09you know, 5 for this, forget about it.
- 23:11So I will be in Oscar because if it was 2025 I would do myself,
- 23:17but it's going to be way more than that.
- 23:18So Oscar will be with me as well.
- 23:21We will be rolling, teaching people and powering the.
- 23:24Cigars. Are we going to be dressed as a
- 23:25Dominican cowboy ninja that day? Exactly.
- 23:29Exactly. So he will be with me and and
- 23:32mostly because drive well my speed travel is 6 1/2 hours, but
- 23:36normally it's 9 hours from here to Pensacola.
- 23:39So go by myself. It's a little boring and my wife
- 23:43is coming, but she's smarter than me and she's flying.
- 23:46Of course I have to bring pants. I have to bring.
- 23:50Cigars, everything. Let me ask you this question.
- 23:53You're not going to stop. Sure, You're not going to stop
- 23:57at the Outback and order beer and walk out with the three
- 24:00things of beer, are you? You never know with me.
- 24:05You never know what can happen. You could.
- 24:07You could. You never know.
- 24:11That was a great day. We had a good time that day.
- 24:14We had a really great time. Yes, it was our first.
- 24:18This was our first guy on our podcast doing it live.
- 24:21Yes, he was. He was the yeah, he did a live
- 24:24rolling on the show and everything.
- 24:27Yeah, yeah. So that was nice.
- 24:29I remember that day that was that was, that was fun.
- 24:34We had a lot of fun that day. Absolutely, yes.
- 24:38Absolutely yes. Now for the people at home, I,
- 24:41we know because I've, I've gotten it twice already, the
- 24:45factory reserve club, yes, that in my opinion is probably the
- 24:51best. Thing that you can get.
- 24:53The best bang for your buck to try a lot of different cigars
- 24:57from different places, and I think it's what, 5 to 7 cigars
- 25:01per pack I think. Is 5 to 6 depends the.
- 25:04Cigars that they are and. And is nobody has that because E
- 25:08cigars that otherwise, except for the American version that we
- 25:12make cigars for, you will not find no land.
- 25:15You will find it nowhere. OK, the good thing about United
- 25:17States many things, but the good thing about cigars is we have
- 25:21something called Cigar Lounge. Now you go over there, some of
- 25:24them, they have liquor license. Some of them they just have
- 25:27coffee. But you have cigars and chairs
- 25:30and you party your ass over there and you just smoke a cigar
- 25:33that's good. In another countries we don't
- 25:37have that or they don't have that.
- 25:39They have clubs. So they have the tobacco license
- 25:42as a club and they can be a 20 members club or could be a 300
- 25:47people club. So they allowed to do their own
- 25:51cigar for the club. So if you think about it right
- 25:54now, I mean cigars for over 134 people.
- 25:57So I say because I don't know if it's going to be 35 or 36.
- 26:00So about 130 plus people and each one of them they go from
- 26:06three cigars all the way to 11 cigars.
- 26:08So you know the math is over 750 plus AT56 cigars a month is
- 26:14going to tell you about 11 years to repeat the cigar.
- 26:17So that's the good thing. You know, it's 35 bucks for five
- 26:20or six cigars once a month shipping include.
- 26:23So actually the factor of our service is not making money.
- 26:27Yes, we make a little money when people want to revisit the
- 26:30cigar, you know, you put, I don't know the marble, Marble
- 26:32now is in production. Before it was not because I took
- 26:35it back. I said well, marble is everyone
- 26:37want it. So I put it in production for
- 26:38the United States. But if somebody want this, they
- 26:41will have to go to Saudi Arabia to a club and get it and pay €68
- 26:46and a chance. So about $7374.00.
- 26:48So which is insane so I just bring it back and say well it
- 26:53was in the pack and like this can I have a fiber?
- 26:56Can I have a box? Can I have a bundle?
- 26:58So that's how the factory reserve makes money at the end.
- 27:00But sipping 56 cigars or this magnitude for 3/5 bucks sip
- 27:05include you cannot make money at all.
- 27:08In fact, you. Lose.
- 27:10I love you so. That's how I tried the Sevilla
- 27:17and I called you that's and I called you as soon as I smoked
- 27:21it and I'm like, what is this and where can I get it?
- 27:23Because that was a cigar that I was just like where did it come
- 27:29from? So tell me.
- 27:31The the severe, the around the world and the marvel.
- 27:38Can you buy them in the States or no?
- 27:41Yes, yes, all of all of them. They they fool in the United
- 27:44States, Yes, you can go online if any local launches that they
- 27:49have it, obviously they will sell it.
- 27:51You cannot find it, You just call me or you just go online
- 27:53and buy it. So I know, I know one of those
- 27:56kind of. You have no place up here in New
- 27:58York to buy those, right? No, it was kiosk.
- 28:03But the only thing that happened with those guys, they have 5
- 28:06kiosk, but they want to be yes, you know, have the whole state
- 28:12say, well, yeah, you see guys in five different places, but it's
- 28:15a kiosk. It's not like he said walking
- 28:17humid. There's nothing like.
- 28:18So it was not worth it for me to to just for them to have
- 28:21exclusive. So if I give exclusive, it has
- 28:23to be somebody at this big and they can, you know, all
- 28:26distribute or something like that.
- 28:28If an exclusive, absolutely yes. But to just a small businesses
- 28:33it's it's not worth it for me because in my end you say, yeah,
- 28:36give me the exclusive and then somebody want to buy, I don't
- 28:38know, 1000 cigars. No, it's true.
- 28:42Who is your New York Rep? New York, I don't have any reps
- 28:47in New York for that reason, neither in California because of
- 28:51taxes. It's too high of taxes.
- 28:53So unless that they want to to do it.
- 28:55But but again, that's you know, marble this cigar if instead to
- 29:01be no, this band is beautiful, by the way, and it has actual
- 29:04actual little tiny thing. You have micro theme of of gold
- 29:09into it. Just just for you guys to kind
- 29:11of see that band. I mean, it is the camera.
- 29:16The camera doesn't do it justice.
- 29:18Yeah. Like you'd have to go order this
- 29:20and get it in your hands to really appreciate the the
- 29:25banding, yeah. But in fact, I know the company,
- 29:28big guys, they have that cigar, that cigar, it will be a 4050
- 29:32sixty dollars cigar. I have it for 18 bucks.
- 29:35So, but that's Florida, Pennsylvania, no sales tax, but
- 29:39you go to New York and you sell it for 9 wholesale and they at
- 29:43the 75% of that is another 6-7 dollars and now they have to add
- 29:48the other 9 plus. So now he's, you know, now he's
- 29:50say 20 something almost $30 once you got that's. $23 stick,
- 29:55something like that. Yeah, about yeah.
- 29:59So which is about we got to take a break and we'll be back with
- 30:03Ishmael Alavan B AM FROC. Absolutely do your thing.
- 33:32What is up? What is up?
- 33:33We are back with Ishmael all of our B AM FROCF cigars,
- 33:37turnbuckles and stogies part. I am the big dogs, the vanilla
- 33:40gorilla just so y'all know. We'd like to thank our our our
- 33:43sponsors turnbuckles and stogies.
- 33:45We'd like to thank Ishmael Olivan BAMF regards TPA.
- 33:51We'd like to thank our producer in Colorado, H.
- 33:54Yes. And all our other.
- 33:56Producers now let's let's also give a big shot and a big thank
- 33:58you to the guys at 4 Johns for doing our merch.
- 34:01Yes, 4 Johns. Another father and son owned
- 34:03veteran owned company that is now doing our merch with us.
- 34:08We got a couple of shirts, three different designs, 2 I did, 1
- 34:12they did and we got our first hat on the website.
- 34:16Now you can't get that behind you yet, but if anybody wants
- 34:20it, all you got to do is ask me. Nice little little banner to
- 34:25hang up a little flag. So real quick, I'm going to ask
- 34:32you actually, you know what, let me I have somebody who who
- 34:35wanted to meet you ish. He wanted to come on and ask you
- 34:37a couple questions. He's a a new company.
- 34:40He's been around less than a year, a year just about I
- 34:45believe, and he kind of wanted to ask you a few questions and
- 34:48get to meet you because he's heard a lot about you.
- 34:50He. Was on your website.
- 34:51So I, I told him I would bring him up so that he can kind of
- 34:54meet you and talk to you and ask you some questions.
- 34:57Go. Forward it put.
- 34:59Him in a big screen. yo-yo, what's up, Jose?
- 35:04Jose. That's it's it's that's Jose.
- 35:06What's going on? What's going on there?
- 35:10You want me to tell me how you doing?
- 35:12I'm doing well, my brother, I'm doing well.
- 35:14What's going on, guys? Pops, what's going on?
- 35:17What's up, Joey? How?
- 35:18You doing living a dream bro, smoking cigars and enjoying my
- 35:21Sunday. Got got one of our our sponsors
- 35:23on the show with us. It's nice.
- 35:25One of our one of our very good friends and I can say that
- 35:28because it's. True, I can text.
- 35:29It's at 2:00 in the morning and he'll text me back.
- 35:32I hear a number of good things. Yeah, you know, introduce
- 35:36myself. My name is Jose.
- 35:37I'm the Co founder of Wyndham Reserve Cigars.
- 35:39We're a new boutique blend coming out.
- 35:42We we did something different than everybody else in the
- 35:45industry. I like the way you do your
- 35:46thing. You kind of shake it up.
- 35:48You don't follow the trends, you kind of make your own.
- 35:51And I think that's the only way in this industry to kind of
- 35:54carve your own path. So we have 5 lines, but we only
- 35:58came out in one vitola. OK.
- 36:01So we we only come out in a robusto.
- 36:04OK, so I don't. Think.
- 36:07Robusto is the most sold vitola in the world if I'm not mistaken
- 36:12after doing my. Research Yeah beaten robusto
- 36:15into the most probably the the 2 sizes more.
- 36:19So I figured, you know, if we can pack enough complexity,
- 36:22flavor and quality in a 5 by 52, I want to corner that whole
- 36:27market. I want to take that industry by
- 36:29chokehold and knock it out. You want to.
- 36:33Respond impossible. I know, I know.
- 36:35But if you if you don't dream big, you can't win big.
- 36:37I understand. And we're willing, you know,
- 36:40like I was telling Joey and his dad, I said we're willing to
- 36:43lose everything. Because if you're not willing to
- 36:46put everything up on the line, you're never going to get the
- 36:48ROI that you want. That's true.
- 36:51And another thing that we're we're committed on is if you
- 36:53can't talk about your brand and lo pelitos don't get up on your
- 36:56arm, your brand isn't worth it. If I can't talk to you.
- 37:00I'm passionate about what I do and what you doing.
- 37:03You, you, you're passionate. You guys are passionate about
- 37:06your craft. Yeah, You see it's it's a lot of
- 37:10people that they just say go cigars, but or they don't know
- 37:13what is in the cigar or they don't think it's in the cigar.
- 37:16It's a big mistake, in my opinion, you know, been doing
- 37:19this for the case. And you should know everything
- 37:22in and out about your cigar. You should.
- 37:25And so is the consumer. So they have the right to know.
- 37:28No, it's you can you don't go to a restaurant and say hey, yeah,
- 37:33yeah. Which kind of means this didn't.
- 37:35Oh, I can tell. Yeah.
- 37:37Where the people is coming. Oh, it's a secret.
- 37:39Well, that's no problem. Yeah, we we have.
- 37:44No, we're very fully transparent.
- 37:46We're Dominican based company. We're based out of tamburine.
- 37:50I use Crojo 98, HVA, Sam Vicente and two other proprietary
- 37:55blends. So we're very transparent on
- 37:57what we are. We don't, we don't kind of
- 38:00sugarcoat anything. It is what it is.
- 38:02We can't justify our taste for everyone's palate in the world.
- 38:06But if I can, if I can wrangle 60 to 80%, I'm alright.
- 38:11You golden? Yeah.
- 38:12So my, my question for you is starting, you know, you being a
- 38:15veteran in this game and me being a rookie, what pitfalls
- 38:20did you come through as when you were in my in my shoes coming
- 38:23up, coming up with the old, the bigger names ahead of you, the
- 38:26Fuentes, the Olivas, the pedrones, the pedomos.
- 38:30You know, you have to make a mark with all these big less
- 38:32legacies and they're kind of looking at you like, who the
- 38:35fuck is this guy? So you have to be.
- 38:38Different, you have to become totally different.
- 38:41You have to make cigars. No, yes, for your palate, you
- 38:44know, for your clients. Because yeah, you, you, you
- 38:47spend money in your own cigars plus more your own cigars.
- 38:49But you are not going to get rich.
- 38:51Yes, selling to you, you have to sell to another people.
- 38:55So you have to have in mind that everybody is different.
- 38:58So normally you have a panel of 567 guys or whatever and send in
- 39:03a couple of cigars and see what they like and you go with that
- 39:07one. But totally different thing
- 39:08because the so-called legacy, which I call them big companies,
- 39:12actually legacy is, you know, when it comes from great
- 39:15grandfather to greatfather to, you know, to grandpa and then to
- 39:18your father and then to you. That's actually legacy.
- 39:21But it's not too many friends like this in the world.
- 39:23It's a few. So you have to come with
- 39:26something different. You know, it's like a every week
- 39:29I have a car now. Why these people buy this car
- 39:31and not buy the car? Maybe because it has more perks
- 39:34and pretty cheaper or maybe because of this, maybe because
- 39:37of that. So you don't have to reinvent
- 39:39the the wheel. The wheel is already done.
- 39:42You have to push something else for the same or cheaper price.
- 39:45So people going to say, whoa, this guy is worthy.
- 39:48And that's what you have to do. You want to compete with the big
- 39:50guys, you have to become no smart because they vary smart in
- 39:54in numbers and the clients are loyal.
- 39:57You have to become a smarter in try these things.
- 40:00It's different why? Because ABC and D is it has to
- 40:04be different tobaccos. People only use three or four
- 40:07countries tobacco. Remember it's over 200 countries
- 40:10in the world. And instead for three or four
- 40:12countries you can find tobacco in Antarctica.
- 40:15In Antarctica. If I'm in tobacco, you can find
- 40:18tobacco everywhere in the world, almost.
- 40:21So just pick up that and and start to play with it, blend it
- 40:24and if people like it, they all want to buy it.
- 40:26That's it. Be different.
- 40:28You cannot be the same. You have to be different.
- 40:30Oh, 100%. We're, we're definitely
- 40:31different. Joey does that smoke my cigars.
- 40:34I, I kind of don't talk about it.
- 40:36I let the stick talk for itself because talk is cheap.
- 40:39Everybody says they got a great stick and then you get it and
- 40:42it's pure garbage. So everyone is the best one.
- 40:45Yeah, 100%. We met him last week or the week
- 40:49before on a Thursday. I met him actually.
- 40:52I met him honestlyish. We were smoking cigars on TikTok
- 40:55live. And then he.
- 40:57Said because you can smoke on TikTok now.
- 40:59And then he said. He said to us and, and we got on
- 41:02there and he said, listen, I want you to try my stuff.
- 41:04Where do you live? And I told him and he goes,
- 41:06well, I work over here. I'm like, oh, you work like, you
- 41:09know, 40 minutes from my house. I'm like, rather than ship it,
- 41:12I'll just drive and meet you. So when we got home, I I smoked
- 41:16the Maduro and I'm going to tell you it's.
- 41:19Smoked the Colorado. It's a fucking booming cigar.
- 41:23Not because you've done it, because I told him I smoked it
- 41:26and I said if it sucked, I'm going to tell you it sucked.
- 41:29Trust me. But.
- 41:30That's supposed to be done. His cigar was booming and.
- 41:35Again, you know, it's like I told him, you know, he came out
- 41:38with five lines, which was smart because he gave a little bit for
- 41:41everybody to smoke, you know, and it you don't, if you don't
- 41:44like this one, you're not, you might like this one, you don't
- 41:47like this one, you might like the other one.
- 41:48Kind of like you with your with your barbed wire or your.
- 41:51I mean, this ads just for everybody to see like that's
- 41:54crazy. You know, it's kind of like when
- 41:56you put out everything that you put out and I say it's let me
- 41:59get this and you go, OK, I'll send it to you.
- 42:01You know what I mean? It's kind of like that.
- 42:03I can call them up and say yo, I'll send you the money, just
- 42:06send me these and you go OK, just like when I bought all them
- 42:08cigars. Yep, from you and I got.
- 42:11Them which all those cigars, I wish I still had some, but they
- 42:16were good. They're, oh, they're long gone,
- 42:18but I'll tell you what, I enjoyed every last one of those
- 42:21fucking things. They were good collection
- 42:24that's. For sure.
- 42:25Oh my God, what's? Up you said you were looking at
- 42:28TPA did. You.
- 42:29I was looking at TPA. Yeah, absolutely.
- 42:32Listen, being a new company, we have, we have to merge, we have
- 42:36to ride coattails. Let's be honest, gentlemen, I'm
- 42:39we're nobody in this game and I'm OK with that.
- 42:42When you get in with Ish and you start doing TPA, you have Hayes
- 42:46Gray, you have. A lady from Chicago you have.
- 42:51Me and Joey, there's so many. You have clowns, cigars, You
- 42:57have. You have.
- 43:01I mean, and then you have you have you and then obviously
- 43:04Doctor Oscar, who's another one of the founders.
- 43:05Doctor Oscar I'm trying to get on, but every time I send him a
- 43:08message. He's like I've, I've tried to
- 43:10get him on every time I I get his, I'll text his number and
- 43:13I'll get like his nurse or his assistant and I'm like, just
- 43:15tell him call me when he's ready.
- 43:17Yeah, I have. Listen, I I looked into the TPA,
- 43:19you guys are doing a good thing. It's it's a young it's, it's,
- 43:22it's up and coming compared to a lot of other platforms.
- 43:26I would love to send you some of my sticks.
- 43:28It's where you could taste them so you can see that again, talk
- 43:32to you. So DMDMU read that it should DM
- 43:35you is information it's sent to. Send you I'll send you about the
- 43:40flavors you time for yourself and you know, coming from
- 43:42another respected person in the industry, ultimate feedback.
- 43:46If it's dog shit, tell me it's dog shit.
- 43:48I have no problem with that. I as a man, you have to take
- 43:51constructive criticism to make your blend right.
- 43:54So like. The only way, it's the only way
- 43:56that you learn. OK, because that's when normally
- 43:59when I give cigars to people to try, I give to people that they
- 44:03don't know me at all. And all of a sudden I put the
- 44:05phone number, which is as smart as you think about it and say,
- 44:07hey, I have this over here. It's something weird.
- 44:10I say no. And a cigar company.
- 44:11I want you to try this cigar. Why me?
- 44:13I say because I don't know you. So you say that this shit, you
- 44:17don't care because you don't know me.
- 44:18But if I give to my families, to my friends, yeah, they say it's
- 44:24just going to go with a freaking machete and cut my neck.
- 44:26I said no, no, no. You can't be honest.
- 44:28You know, whatever you want, I want to say about, but but it's
- 44:31hard for people to tell you no, it's not good because they're
- 44:34your friends. They don't like.
- 44:36Somebody told Ish that I was talking shit about his cigars.
- 44:40I said that's pretty funny 'cause I talk to Ish three times
- 44:44a week. I said why would I talk to?
- 44:46You about it, Cigars. Yeah, we send our cigar out
- 44:49across the country already. I've had people in California
- 44:52try, people in Indiana, people in Ohio, and we've got a lot of
- 44:56good feedback. No, let me.
- 44:58Yeah. And that's a good thing.
- 45:01In the private chat you can see only us, right?
- 45:05Yeah, yeah. So let me put it over here so I
- 45:08send you the info. If anything I'll take a picture
- 45:13of it for him and send it to him ish.
- 45:18Yeah. Now, now I'm going to ask you
- 45:21this ish because I'm I'm curious, right, Sure, I know you
- 45:24do a lot of the the smaller ringgages.
- 45:27When I say smaller, I say, you know, robustos and and coronas
- 45:31and stuff like that. And I noticed with the Marvel,
- 45:36the around the world and the Sevilla, there are a lot of a
- 45:39there are bigger ringgage for you. 58 because it's too many
- 45:42tobaccos. There's no way I can put 1417
- 45:45countries in the corona. I would have to go yeah, yeah,
- 45:48like right. It is not worth it.
- 45:51So no, no, that's why I asked, because it, it, it piqued my
- 45:54curiosity because again, I've, I've known you for a while, I've
- 45:57smoked a lot of your stuff. You do 5.
- 46:00Years, a lot. You do a lot of robustos, a lot
- 46:02of Coronas, a couple toros, and this was kind of out of the
- 46:06realm for you. But at the same time, you know,
- 46:09I, I think it's a nice change up to your lineup as well.
- 46:13So tell us, tell us about around the world.
- 46:18Who is in around the world? You have 17 countries for five
- 46:23continents. For instance, for North America
- 46:26you have Pennsylvania, you have Dominica Repubi, you have
- 46:29Nicaragua, you have Jamaica, and you have 3S and Tobago.
- 46:33From South America you have Brazil, which is the rapid in
- 46:38that case. Then from Africa you have
- 46:40Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Angolan, Cameroon and from Europe you
- 46:44have Spain, Italy, Greece, France, Bulgari and that's it.
- 46:52And then you have from Asia, you have Indonesia, so.
- 46:57That is his around the world that I'm smoking.
- 47:00I can't. I can't get any closer.
- 47:02That what it looks like around. The world and let me tell you,
- 47:05this is a really damn good cigar.
- 47:07Not because it's just on here, but this the first time I ever
- 47:10smoked it. And when I called him and asked
- 47:13him to come on, he said what do you want?
- 47:14I said, what do you got? He goes, I got to I said send me
- 47:17whatever I haven't smoked. And I told him what I haven't
- 47:20smoked. And let me tell you, it's that
- 47:22Seville last night was off the. He was, he was smoking it and he
- 47:26kept going. This is so I'm like I told you
- 47:29when I smoked it in the factory Reserve Club, when I got it, I'm
- 47:33like I told you, it was completely different from what
- 47:35we're used to, not only from from you, but from like this
- 47:40side of the world. We're not used to cigars like
- 47:43this. It's that one is 100% Spanish
- 47:47tobacco from Spain and it's totally different thing because
- 47:50most people and later you travel and you find something that
- 47:54probably say a blend like 100% from Spain.
- 47:57You're going to have the old, old guys like over here, the,
- 48:00you know, the, the latest that we call you will have the
- 48:02Farias, you will have Regis. You will have something like
- 48:05that, that they are like on the country, 2 or $3 and you better,
- 48:11you better have a lot of hair in your chest because it's going to
- 48:14take you down. Those things are like, so when
- 48:18you just balance the cigar like it was done in 1676 now you know
- 48:22what the Sagacia was so popular back in the day and going like
- 48:26this because. Yeah.
- 48:27It because it's got it's got the power, but it's got the flavor.
- 48:31It's not an overpowering stick, but it's also got everything
- 48:36that you're looking for in a, when I say a a darker cigar.
- 48:40And I am going to tell you, before you smoke any Maduro
- 48:43cigar, make sure you eat if you don't eat.
- 48:47I'm sorry. For you, because you're going.
- 48:49To and then I'm going to give this shout out because not only
- 48:51did DH give the knowledge to Jose and those guys, this right
- 48:56here is a huge palate cleanser. Oh, the ginger.
- 49:00Yeah, of course. I so so I didn't know that ish
- 49:04and then I was hanging out with them on TikTok and they're like,
- 49:06go get these. I don't like ginger.
- 49:08I'm like, no, I I won't do it. I don't like it.
- 49:12She went out last night and I had her grab me one and I did it
- 49:17and then I lit up another cigar and I was like, you son of a
- 49:20bitch. I'm like, I didn't want this to
- 49:21work, but it works. I've got to.
- 49:23Pay you something, Joey. Joey, you like ginger.
- 49:26You don't know that it's ginger. You know that flavor that 100%
- 49:32mistakes and they call cinnamon or cinnamon, Depends who you
- 49:36are. But it's OK.
- 49:37It's not cinnamon in the cigar. It's impossible.
- 49:39It is ginger. Really.
- 49:42So he's not cinnamon in the cigar, but no, he's ginger.
- 49:46People just say whatever, you know, like, like when they say,
- 49:48oh, this is being sold from the Himalaya, get the fuck out of
- 49:52here. It's so, so it's, it's, you
- 49:56know, it's the same thing. It is ginger.
- 49:59It is not cinnamon in the cigar, you know.
- 50:04But you know what? I'm I'm glad I got the knowledge
- 50:07because I did it last night and I got on, I got on TikTok with
- 50:11Jose and those guys and we were smoking.
- 50:12I I chewed it and then I had the LA Imperiosa from Crown heads.
- 50:17Yeah, OK. And I cleaned the pallet.
- 50:19I had my cup of water like I usually do most of the time.
- 50:23And I was just, I was smoking it and I'm like, damn it.
- 50:26I'm like I didn't want this to work but it does it.
- 50:31Does work and I was like, watch out with water.
- 50:36A lot of people, they have the they have the water, but
- 50:39sometimes probably your stomach, it feels like a little funny is
- 50:42because the worst, the worst hair with the cigar is water.
- 50:46Water doesn't kill the nicotine. I usually do coffee so.
- 50:50Coffee, coffee, the breakfast soup because caffeine, it will
- 50:52kill a little of the nicotine. It will not make you sick, but
- 50:55water neither. You do like I have.
- 50:57Let me see. I have water, ginger and lime.
- 51:01That's what I have over here. So you put.
- 51:04You put some sort of like like mixer essentially.
- 51:07Into the water. Yeah, the vintage 2028 Winston's
- 51:11so. This is the Industry 28 Winston.
- 51:15Only me can I have these ones and I'm the only guy smoking
- 51:20this in the singer podcast. Are you still are you still
- 51:24making the bacon wrapped Oh Bob wires?
- 51:29The MRE's. I cannot even put it on the
- 51:32website because every time I put it is gone.
- 51:34Which is true because I've called you a few times.
- 51:37I went to go order them and they're out and I call them like
- 51:40ish. You got any Mr. ES?
- 51:41He goes no, they're gone. And now?
- 51:46That's a good problem. With that is, yeah.
- 51:49But you know The funny thing? Everyone, everyone is a macho
- 51:53man. Nobody do flavors, nobody do
- 51:55nothing. Which that's the flavors you
- 51:56got. It's bacon, but bacon is bacon.
- 51:58Doesn't like bacon again. Are you a red blooded American
- 52:02if you don't like bacon? Oh, European.
- 52:06Yeah, bacon for everything. So.
- 52:10No, but you know, it's funny because when, you know, going
- 52:14back to what we were talking about before where people were
- 52:15saying, you know, these cigar, you know, giving criticism, all
- 52:18this cigar sucks. This cigar is this.
- 52:19This cigar is that I was explaining to Jose that when I
- 52:23smoked the MRE before I met you in person, I was expecting a
- 52:27whole lot of bacon, a whole lot of this.
- 52:29And I'm like, why am I not getting this?
- 52:31And then I said, I sat down with you and you explained to me it's
- 52:35more of the aroma coming off of the smoke then the cigar.
- 52:39And then I really started to understand the, the breakdown of
- 52:43what, you know, you're kind of supposed to get off that aroma.
- 52:46And then it made sense. And then when you really started
- 52:49getting into it and like you said, pairing it with the, with
- 52:52the coffee, then it really brought out the, the coffee
- 52:55notes. And and then you got that that
- 52:57bacon note when you started pairing it with that coffee.
- 53:01The only bad thing with that cigar is that make you hungry
- 53:04because you're just smelling the thing.
- 53:05I mean like if somebody doing BBQ or putting some bacon or
- 53:07whatever, it's the only bad thing about the cigar.
- 53:10It's. Like lighting up AKFC?
- 53:13Like when you light up the KFC from Drew Estate, you want to go
- 53:15have a BBQ or make some s'mores? So.
- 53:19Ish. No, it's just it sucks if it's
- 53:22in the middle of the winter time and you can't go do that.
- 53:25You got to go inside and use. You got to go inside and use the
- 53:27stove with the marshmallows. What else?
- 53:29What other questions got for Jose?
- 53:33Navigating the industry, you know, it's, it's new to me.
- 53:35So I'm trying to learn my way, find my path.
- 53:37I'm trying to make my own path, to be honest with you, because I
- 53:39don't want to follow anybody's direction.
- 53:42But you know, what do you, you know, like I said, the pitfalls
- 53:45that you had in the beginning as a guy like me, I don't want to
- 53:48fall for the same things. And you fell for, you know what
- 53:50I'm saying? So I'm, I'm basically asking
- 53:52what should I steer clear of? You know, like, I don't want to
- 53:55grow my brand too fast, but I don't want to grow it too slow
- 53:59either. First, be clear about about
- 54:02bullshit is because people are going to be just bullshitting
- 54:04you a lot of times and telling you things that you shouldn't be
- 54:07doing. So clear the bullshit is 100%.
- 54:10Then know your factory very well.
- 54:13Make sure that the consistence a trick that nobody does is the
- 54:18maybe and I'm going to say yes, maybe the big guys is half at
- 54:22least tobacco for four years. And you mean that you make this
- 54:27cigar this year 2026. Don't spend the whole tobacco
- 54:31half at least you know, 1 bell or something keep over there
- 54:34because next year that if this tobacco is 5-6 years, the one
- 54:39that is coming is is is only four or five years.
- 54:42So that this is going to change a little, but you mix with the
- 54:45bell of the 20, the one that you did in 2026, it would be
- 54:49consistent. So you have to be consistent in
- 54:50the cigars. So just keep something you know.
- 54:53I. I got a really good relationship
- 54:56with my factory like it's a family run thing.
- 54:59So we have, we have, we have inventory for the next four
- 55:03years. That's number one.
- 55:06And that's what I that's what they told me.
- 55:07First thing you do is lock down your inventory.
- 55:10Yeah. These people really like this
- 55:13blend, you got to have enough of it to give to people and enough
- 55:16to re up if you need to. Yes, because everybody think,
- 55:19oh, it's but it's the same thing or it's not the same thing.
- 55:22You know, gasoline is gasoline, but depends which which gas
- 55:25station you go. Maybe it has a little water in
- 55:27it, maybe it has a little more ethanol in it maybe.
- 55:30So it's not the same thing. So, but yeah, it's going to be
- 55:34similar, but you want to be very more like a clone is not going
- 55:38to be nothing like a clone because it's much impossible,
- 55:40no. From 16 different personalities
- 55:42in the plant. But you know, but it's that's
- 55:47that's one and the other one your export and import very,
- 55:50very important export and the import.
- 55:52So you can you can literally funk it up depends who you
- 55:56export and import the cigars for you.
- 55:57So that's another another problem that you have to and
- 56:00then yes, you do everything by the book in with your taxes and
- 56:04in people do Oh no, you do this, you pay less, you do that.
- 56:08You do just follow the rules. Many Stabak Tabak and alcohol is
- 56:11federal and you. Don't pay percent.
- 56:13I used to own a gun store, so I've dealt with the ATF.
- 56:17I know how stringent they could be.
- 56:18So like we, Joey, can sit to attest to this.
- 56:21We've doing everything step by step.
- 56:23I'm not rushing anything. I want your compliance
- 56:26everything. I don't want that.
- 56:27I get that knock on the door saying yo come here you sold to
- 56:30no, I'd rather wait and give you.
- 56:33I know what my product can do. I know the product is solid and
- 56:36I hope you do too. You will like my product.
- 56:38I'd like to try yours as well. But again, but again, I'm trying
- 56:42to make AI want to shake it up a little bit ish I I don't want to
- 56:46come normal. I'm a loud, obnoxious son of a
- 56:49bitch. That's what I am.
- 56:50You either take it or you don't. That means you're going to see
- 56:53how much for turmoil. No it.
- 56:56Was, but he was coming for it. I'll put it.
- 56:58You look now you're another. Another company's here.
- 57:00I got a bet right now. Gentlemen's bet.
- 57:02We want Padrone 2000 against our Maduro.
- 57:05Gentlemen's bet. Winner puts on the loser's
- 57:07T-shirt and takes pictures. Gentlemen, I know Padrone can
- 57:11say who the fuck is this guy? We don't know this guy.
- 57:13What do you think we. Ain't got nothing to lose.
- 57:16Now, now it's, it's funny you say that, right?
- 57:18Because we had this conversation about your Maduro and, and I
- 57:22think it's, it's relevant to the conversation we were having
- 57:24about the, the criticism on cigars.
- 57:27I smoked his Maduro ish. I loved it.
- 57:30I told him I, I thought it was for the, the blend.
- 57:32It is. It's fantastic.
- 57:34I said, you know, if you're looking for a spice bomb or a
- 57:37pepper bomb, that's not the Maduro for you.
- 57:41But it's full of flavor and everything.
- 57:43Now he had somebody, he had somebody tell him that his
- 57:48Maduro was flavorless. There was nothing there.
- 57:51And I said, I don't know what they're smoking because I smoked
- 57:54it. And I was like, you know, I, I
- 57:56got the notes, I got notes on of it.
- 57:58I got notes out of it. The burn was great.
- 58:00The taste was there. I said, but those are the
- 58:02people, I think. And I think you kind of know
- 58:04where I'm going with this. Is that only smoke that heavy?
- 58:08Powerful, you know, right off the RIP?
- 58:11Punch of of spice Toms, they guys used to yeah, but they just
- 58:15used to one thing, you know, it's it's it's a gaff for a veg.
- 58:18You go to a vegetarian and and and you, you show them bacon.
- 58:22They go like no, no, no, only veggies.
- 58:25So it's it's the same shit. So it's it's like, you know what
- 58:29happened is nobody, nobody, nobody is going to give too
- 58:32literally 2 fucks for new, new brands.
- 58:34And later you prove yourself like like me, you think that I
- 58:37care what people say. I just love all of them.
- 58:40I say the cigar that you're smoking probably are blended
- 58:42anyways, so I'll keep keep smoking.
- 58:44Then I I don't, I don't care, you know, but people are afraid
- 58:48to like new things because they've been for years saying,
- 58:52Oh, my brand is AB and CSY&C. So now to come, Oh, I like this.
- 58:58But what my guys are going to see, well, when you see all
- 59:02these guys, the big guys that used to be as Nicaraguan tobacco
- 59:05blending with Dominican, you see Dominican blending with
- 59:09Equatorian, you see the Honduras blending with a little
- 59:12Nicaraguan. Well, they start to notice that
- 59:16the boutiques little by little, remember you don't win a battle
- 59:21going 50,000 people in the center street, but you can buy a
- 59:24bottle just with 100 people for over there, for over there, for
- 59:28over there coming from different, you know, so they
- 59:31see, they seen that the boutique industry is going very, very,
- 59:35very. And I he's got Cheetah.
- 59:38We're flanking them. We're flanking them right now.
- 59:40They don't like we're flanking them.
- 59:41Best on his on your podcast. I watched another episode last
- 59:45night. I'm going.
- 59:45To answer this question. You said that the boutiques are
- 59:47going to be the legacies are essentially at some point going
- 59:50to become the boutiques of the industry.
- 59:52Yeah, you will. You will.
- 59:55And I think that's a great way to put it.
- 59:57And you said the same thing when we were watching it, that
- 59:59because there's so many on the rise, like yes, a lot of people
- 1:00:02know who you are. And it's crazy to me sometimes
- 1:00:05when I hear when you tell me you're making cigars for X
- 1:00:08amount of companies and you're still considered a boutique
- 1:00:11brand, but yet you're, you're known by, like you said, a lot
- 1:00:16of the the bigger name companies.
- 1:00:18And to me it just, it, it's hard to understand.
- 1:00:21And, and I think it's because you can compete with those big
- 1:00:25companies. And to me it's just like.
- 1:00:28You're considered a boutique, but yet you're still making
- 1:00:31cigars for however many people. Well, just just just to put in
- 1:00:36perspective and not to just kiss myself, but I don't see any of
- 1:00:40those guys in Honduras talking with depression in his house,
- 1:00:44having lost with depression of the Republic of Honduras.
- 1:00:46This guy was there. I don't see no one of those guys
- 1:00:49coming back in December and no invitation to roll cigars in
- 1:00:53Honduras, not being from Honduras.
- 1:00:55So let me ask you this question. Same thing is dead I guess.
- 1:00:59You said. Maybe you?
- 1:01:03Were all with us. You said you were making a cigar
- 1:01:07for my buddy Dave Bautista. Whatever happened with that?
- 1:01:11The guy disappeared. That guy disappeared.
- 1:01:13This this guy is like a is so more like the Dominican Cabo
- 1:01:18ninja, his and his not his and his not.
- 1:01:21I say, well, when you are you, let me know that one.
- 1:01:24It should be a bad wide oversize because the bad one in his
- 1:01:28fingers do like a paper clip on mines.
- 1:01:30He has kind of sound like. Oh yeah, sometimes when I, when
- 1:01:35I smoke a lot of your smaller ring ages too, I'll go smoke
- 1:01:37them. I'm like, where's the fucking
- 1:01:38cigar? I'm like, my hands are huge.
- 1:01:41Yeah, so this guy has a huge hands and it was OK.
- 1:01:45He is the face of 1W down in in San Antonio and they want us to
- 1:01:56make cigars for that, but they want him to be the face of 1
- 1:02:00cigars for him. Now this guy is all over the
- 1:02:03place to find this person and sit down and talk.
- 1:02:07Good luck 'cause he's. Filming all kinds of He's
- 1:02:10filming all kinds of Movies Now. That's like Maddie Rocks.
- 1:02:13Maddie Rocks is good friends with him and his mother, but he
- 1:02:16doesn't like to talk to people. He doesn't like to sit down and
- 1:02:19talk to people. And again, you know.
- 1:02:21Again he. Wasn't in the limelight for that
- 1:02:23long. He was in the corrections he
- 1:02:25got. He left corrections, became a
- 1:02:27wrestler and now he's doing Marvel Comics, he's doing all
- 1:02:30these other movies. Kudos to him for leaving and go
- 1:02:33going to get that Marvel bag because that's a lot of fucking
- 1:02:36money in Marvel. But the same sense.
- 1:02:38Yes, it is. You want Ish to make your
- 1:02:41cigars, you got to sit down and speak with the man himself.
- 1:02:46So, and I think too, I think like Ish said it, the whiskey
- 1:02:49company wants him to make one for him.
- 1:02:51So essentially, he may not even know that that he knows it's
- 1:02:54going to happen, but I think he figures they'll take care of it
- 1:02:57for him. Most probably yes, that's.
- 1:03:00Probably what it is. But they told him that he has to
- 1:03:03be in a suit of in a photo suit and this and this and that,
- 1:03:06that's it. And two or three times that he
- 1:03:08was at the distillery. I was in Europe.
- 1:03:11So I said, guys, sorry, you cannot call me 6-7 hours in
- 1:03:17advance because I'm in Florida. Even being in Florida, I cannot
- 1:03:21get over there in 6-7 hours. If I drive.
- 1:03:23He's 18 and he's he's no guarantee it's going to be a
- 1:03:26plane taking an hour from now to land over there before he
- 1:03:29leaves. So it's kind of it's, it would
- 1:03:33happen eventually. Yeah, I mean, listen, times will
- 1:03:36eventually align that you can make that happen.
- 1:03:38And you know, I think that'll be a a big thing for the
- 1:03:41distillery, a big thing for you because that's getting into a
- 1:03:45essentially a whole nother market, which is again, why this
- 1:03:50kind of podcast was formed, because you're bringing in not
- 1:03:54only that movie star aspect, but that wrestling aspect into your
- 1:03:58cigars. And now you'll see it'll reach a
- 1:04:01whole different type of audience that that we tried to corner
- 1:04:06with this show. Yes, people don't realize that
- 1:04:09our show you were our first one on here I.
- 1:04:14Can't thank you. When we got to our Sports
- 1:04:16Network, he was the first show to.
- 1:04:17Our Sports Network You Were the First Show and our producer God
- 1:04:21Rest is solely died of cancer. He loved it.
- 1:04:24He goes who the fuck is that us? That's my brother Ish.
- 1:04:28He was like, that was great. He goes, you guys made me do
- 1:04:31nothing but laugh. I'm like, that's what we were
- 1:04:33supposed to do and. I said it's our sponsor and I
- 1:04:37said I can call it's right now and he'll jump on if he's not.
- 1:04:40Oh wait a second. Actually let me let me pull this
- 1:04:43up because I I created this for the show.
- 1:04:45Hold on to post up as part of like the cover photo.
- 1:04:51It got a little screwed up. They added an extra C somewhere,
- 1:04:55but I just, I did it and I thought this was kind of cool.
- 1:04:59I took our logo and merged it into one for the show.
- 1:05:03I mean, it added an extra seat of turnbuckles, but I think it
- 1:05:06came out kind of cool. But it it looks.
- 1:05:09Good it does. It's, it's definitely, it's
- 1:05:12definitely a, a interesting aspect to do when you can play
- 1:05:16around with it is. Here's the thing that we have
- 1:05:20our own cigars coming out, as I told.
- 1:05:22You before. We have our own cigars coming
- 1:05:24out. They should be out by the end of
- 1:05:27October, hopefully. So OK, there we go.
- 1:05:31By the end of October, our cigars should be out and I'm
- 1:05:35going to send you a 5 pack The the the I call it a flying pig
- 1:05:42size. As I was telling, it's like that
- 1:05:434 1/2 by 52 or 58, whatever it. Is why are you doing that?
- 1:05:48I said. When have you seen a flying pig
- 1:05:51as a first release? As a first release.
- 1:05:53Or as a limited release to try out the the.
- 1:05:56The run, I said exactly so. We all about it and.
- 1:06:00You're paying $5, you're paying $50.00 for us to ship it to you
- 1:06:06and everything, right? For you're paying 45 to $50.00
- 1:06:10for us to ship it to you and everything.
- 1:06:12So you're getting five of them. I want you to tell me if they
- 1:06:15suck, if they're good, if they need a little work.
- 1:06:18Listen. Oh, I will tell you what I want.
- 1:06:22You know that I will tell you what?
- 1:06:24I will tell you what is inside who made it?
- 1:06:26And he was sitting the day that he blended, you know that.
- 1:06:30I got one of these coming for you.
- 1:06:32That's that. OK, so that's that's the
- 1:06:34Cameroon ish that in his Colorado to me were like 1A and
- 1:06:391B on his list. You put it far away.
- 1:06:42It looks like in my Seville, you put it, you put it far away.
- 1:06:48So. Yeah, but you're going to get
- 1:06:50all of these ish. I I really want your opinion.
- 1:06:52And like we did a lot of work. We did a lot of work even with
- 1:06:55the logo. What opinion like last?
- 1:06:58Everybody got one. Let's let's take a quick little
- 1:07:02break and then we'll come back because I forgot to keep track
- 1:07:05of time because I don't have my other producer here to keep me
- 1:07:07on test. OK, go for it.
- 1:07:13Yeah, basically. Play around with stuff.
- 1:10:16Yo, we are back. We are back.
- 1:10:18Turn Bucks and Stogie's pot. I am the big dog, just the
- 1:10:21vanilla gorilla. Follow us, Follow us on all
- 1:10:24streaming networks, Apple iTunes, every every place you
- 1:10:28can find us. And if you go on YouTube right
- 1:10:30now, you can watch the show live.
- 1:10:32So we have Ishmael, Olivan and Wyndham cigars.
- 1:10:37So let's get back. So we, we spoke about the around
- 1:10:40the world, kind of, I know we spoke briefly about the marvel
- 1:10:43in the beginning ish. Just kind of, you know, tell us,
- 1:10:47'cause I know you had mentioned to me that this was almost the
- 1:10:50original version of the around the world.
- 1:10:54Yes. So what happened with the around
- 1:10:56the world I want to use, Obviously being born and raised
- 1:10:59in Spain, I wanted to have the Spanish talapo in it.
- 1:11:03It was almost impossible, but it wasn't impossible that you had
- 1:11:05the money. But it's too expensive, too
- 1:11:08expensive to buy Talapo in Spain to export into the Dominican
- 1:11:12Republic, unless that you buy several bills just to buy just
- 1:11:16one bill is, you know, is. Right.
- 1:11:20It's horrific. I'm a doing.
- 1:11:21Man with money. So what's the?
- 1:11:23Big deal. Just when you loan me money is
- 1:11:25when I have money, you know, So it's joking.
- 1:11:29Folks. So that was that one.
- 1:11:32And then France is the same thing because they be particular
- 1:11:35people like we all know. And then it was Greece.
- 1:11:40So I had that one. I say, well, maybe I had to put
- 1:11:42it out, what am I going to do? And it was just people, tourist
- 1:11:45people just going to factories or whatever.
- 1:11:47And they saw that we were over here, over there, As a matter of
- 1:11:50fact, we were doing a BBQ outside.
- 1:11:52It was in the Saturday night after work or whatever.
- 1:11:55They got working, walking, and I don't need to smell the cigar.
- 1:11:59So the BBQ, probably the BBQ. But anyways, it was open.
- 1:12:04So we over there with the presidente beers and all these
- 1:12:07things and eating whatever and I'm smoking.
- 1:12:09I was inside yet and say oh, this is a factory.
- 1:12:13I say, oh geez, yes Sherlock, of course it's a factory, you know.
- 1:12:18And the guy goes and said, oh, I'm from South Arabia and I'm
- 1:12:23looking for tobacco. I want to do my own thing.
- 1:12:25Do you have something? Would you smoke it?
- 1:12:27Smell good? And I say, OK, so I'll give him
- 1:12:30one. I say, can I have this for me?
- 1:12:33And that's how that's how it became remarkable.
- 1:12:36Yes, because I think it had over three to become around the
- 1:12:39world. But actually if the same
- 1:12:40tobaccos in the around the world, it's the France, Spain
- 1:12:44and Greece and it changed the flavor totally from one to the
- 1:12:48other. Yeah.
- 1:12:48And you're right ish because I'm smoking it and I said to my dad
- 1:12:52before while you guys were talking, I'm like he was right
- 1:12:56because every time I nailed down a note I'm like it's gone and I
- 1:12:59got something else completely different.
- 1:13:01That's why they're around the world.
- 1:13:03Every time I nail a note down, I'm like, oh, this is fucking
- 1:13:06great. Next thing I do, I have
- 1:13:07confidence. Gone.
- 1:13:09So what's? The whack a mole.
- 1:13:11Yeah, I love the cigar because it's very complex.
- 1:13:16I don't know people that they just like, you know, study
- 1:13:18cigars, which is nothing wrong. You may even going.
- 1:13:20I always compare things with another things.
- 1:13:21You may even go into a restaurant and you ask for
- 1:13:23everybody. If the first bite is good, you
- 1:13:25don't want to change the flavor at all because it's good and you
- 1:13:28want the rib eye and that's it. But to me, the cigar is
- 1:13:30something that is not 20 minutes it and that's it.
- 1:13:33It's a cigar like that is hour and a half.
- 1:13:35Some people can take 2 hours. So I want some change of flavor
- 1:13:40in in the cigar and that's what I did and the bunch of that is
- 1:13:43totally different is no, yes, you know, a book or intubato or
- 1:13:49a Corian. We do a twist into it when
- 1:13:51everything is we do a twist. So they always initially better
- 1:13:54when you press it and it's it's it's it's like I said, it's
- 1:13:58people that it's too much for them because change too much.
- 1:14:01They get us a .0. I had this whatever flavor and
- 1:14:05all of a sudden is gone. Well, so buy this or the cigar
- 1:14:08is complete the same cigar. You know, he gets bored, you
- 1:14:12know, but but yeah, it's, it's, it's you are gonna change the
- 1:14:16the difference of flavors. And there's there's also too a
- 1:14:20lot of transitions throughout this cigar too, which I noticed
- 1:14:24besides the the tobaccos it it transitions quite a few times.
- 1:14:29Oh, that's, that's the change of flavors.
- 1:14:31I, I call the change of flavors to transitions, but like most
- 1:14:34people do transitions. I don't you know why?
- 1:14:37Because I have the construction company and the only transition
- 1:14:40that we know is between the bathroom tile and the carpet in
- 1:14:43the room, the little threshold that's called transition.
- 1:14:47So you need to change some flavors.
- 1:14:48Metal carpet. Strip covering in both covering
- 1:14:51the little gap. That's a transition.
- 1:14:54A little termination. Bar action, Yeah.
- 1:14:57So so that's why I say change of flavor, you know, but and you
- 1:15:01notice I don't say B dollars, I say size because I mean probably
- 1:15:06comes from Spain and they meet, they meet all actually is the
- 1:15:09panel that you got, but in United.
- 1:15:11States. I do remember you telling us
- 1:15:13that when we when we spoke in person, I remember you kind of
- 1:15:16giving me that little bit of a knowledge.
- 1:15:18So tell us about your factory. Well, not us, but tell us the
- 1:15:24the people watching about your factory in Dr. Well, I started
- 1:15:29with one many, many years back and it was a small one.
- 1:15:33Then we grow because we doing cigars for many people.
- 1:15:35So I have the second one and then about a couple of years
- 1:15:39back I had the third one, which is a little bigger.
- 1:15:41These two floors and all of that again, the three factories
- 1:15:45probably is actor of Fuentes reference, you know, because
- 1:15:47they have mansions over there. So it's.
- 1:15:52Factories. Same thing.
- 1:15:53Tamburil. Yeah, me too.
- 1:15:56So, so it's it's I like Tamburi because you are one of them is
- 1:16:01in Kanka, which is right there is 5 minutes or is right there
- 1:16:13exactly. And so so we just produce over
- 1:16:17our cigars that you notice I never talk about my own cigars.
- 1:16:20I talk about every other people's cigars by mine that we
- 1:16:23do and and because I want them to do good.
- 1:16:27If they do good, I will do fantastic as well.
- 1:16:29You know, the more they sell the most cigars are made for them.
- 1:16:32And mine's actually no, people are already you know, Banff, you
- 1:16:35know, AMA, who doesn't want to be a badass motherfucker, you
- 1:16:38know, so soon he or then they will buy a cigar.
- 1:16:42Mostly believe it or not, I sell most cigars overseas that here
- 1:16:45in United States. But that's the reason because I
- 1:16:47want the other guys locally to sell more cigars.
- 1:16:51So we're making cigars now for 134 study brands and two coming.
- 1:16:56One is Noah brand, one is one guy for himself that he won't
- 1:17:00like a little cigarrillos by hand, no machine, but this guy
- 1:17:04is smoke 1000 of them a month. So it's Noah brand, but it's
- 1:17:10another one that we do. It's the little one, see like a
- 1:17:1215 minute cigar, whatever. But this guy, he liked the
- 1:17:16little guy. So we're making just one for him
- 1:17:19and that's it. Crazy. 1000 cigarillos in a
- 1:17:24fucking month is. How many blends do you have with
- 1:17:28134 companies? I have registered back in 2017
- 1:17:34when everybody, you know, it was a scare and well, everybody
- 1:17:37know, including myself, of course, like what's going to
- 1:17:40happen that the cigarette has to be, you know, the same day that
- 1:17:43back in 2027 in March 6 or whatever, what the day, blah,
- 1:17:46blah, blah. It has to be registered.
- 1:17:48So I registered what I have nine years ago, nine years ago.
- 1:17:52I have 750 blends registered with the theory.
- 1:17:57That was nine years ago. I got 5.
- 1:18:00Hey, hey, I start with one. Everybody start for somewhere.
- 1:18:05I start with one. But but people that being with
- 1:18:08me at the factory on my own house, that's one thing that I
- 1:18:12hate when people say this, I totally hate it.
- 1:18:14I'm sorry, I hate it. Oh, it take me 5 years to become
- 1:18:17with a blend and I only blend one cigar at a time.
- 1:18:22So how old are you? Oh in 60 years, OK, 60 years.
- 1:18:26How many lines you have a cigars?
- 1:18:27I have 30. So you must be a freaking
- 1:18:30vampire because 30 * 5 is 150 already and you only have and
- 1:18:36you only 60. So you start a -. 90 is when you
- 1:18:39start to blend. I don't know how that works.
- 1:18:41You know a couple of minutes to do it and now to have those
- 1:18:46tobaccos is where it can take your time.
- 1:18:48But I don't believe that nobody gets work in the blend every
- 1:18:52five years. It's impossible.
- 1:18:54It's impossible. You will be out of business.
- 1:18:56It's no way. It's no way like he was saying,
- 1:18:59because he was saying I don't want to start with one cigar.
- 1:19:02Absolutely not. Start between 3:00 and 5:00 is
- 1:19:05the smart thing because the first thing that you do is the
- 1:19:09best seller is a home run, perfect, whatever is not.
- 1:19:13When you come with the second one, people say, oh, I remember
- 1:19:16the other one for the same factory or the same brand, I
- 1:19:18don't want it. You go with five and at least
- 1:19:21two or three or four, they are going to like.
- 1:19:23So when you come next year with another one or two, people say,
- 1:19:26Oh yeah, I just want these, these, this and that of this
- 1:19:29company. So that's the smart thing to.
- 1:19:31Do and I had other companies tell me I had some we're on
- 1:19:34another podcast and they said, you know, why did you come out
- 1:19:36with five? You don't think that was too
- 1:19:37many? And I said no.
- 1:19:39When you have to appease this many pallets, my Maduro might
- 1:19:42not be your thing, but my Colorado might be your thing.
- 1:19:45My Connecticut might be your thing.
- 1:19:47You know, Like for me, I thought like everybody's different.
- 1:19:50So there's no way you can just nail one cigar and say, you know
- 1:19:53what, I'm going to, I'm going to ride that one horse.
- 1:19:56I'd rather have five or five fighters in the fight.
- 1:19:59Absolutely. And we do do a limit.
- 1:20:02I have a limit, OK, There is a lot of people that they say, OK,
- 1:20:05I I only going to I'm going to just, you know, test the waters
- 1:20:09and I only have enough to make a hundred 200 cigars.
- 1:20:12Well, now you have to go with one cigar.
- 1:20:13You cannot go with five. But if that cigar is good, you
- 1:20:17keep going. I'm going, I'm going, I'm going.
- 1:20:19But you are, yes, one to do cigars for a living, nothing
- 1:20:22else but cigars you have to sell with more, that's for sure.
- 1:20:25But again. Here's my thing.
- 1:20:27To you. Here's my thing to you.
- 1:20:30You got starting cost. When you send, when you send
- 1:20:34cigars, and I say this because I got them the other day, you
- 1:20:37don't send Movida packs. Why is?
- 1:20:39That no, no, because I live in Florida, Florida right now we
- 1:20:4390. No, you see me moving twice when
- 1:20:46you guys move in, it's because my I'm in the garage and the
- 1:20:49swamp fan. It was just going in my low
- 1:20:52parts no up here and I start to sweat.
- 1:20:54So my house right now is 97. You feel like a 116th.
- 1:20:58If I put a bobita pack over there and I go to the post
- 1:21:01office and these guys stay the whole day, that bobita pack is
- 1:21:05about 80% possibility will explode and we can explode is
- 1:21:09going to damage all the cigars in it.
- 1:21:11Now if I was in Alaska, I will put it.
- 1:21:15If I was in, I don't know, in another state I will put it, but
- 1:21:19in Florida. And I, you know, like I was
- 1:21:22saying that my dad when he goes ish didn't send them.
- 1:21:24I said because I think his thing is too is when you get them,
- 1:21:28they're already ready to smoke anyway.
- 1:21:30Yeah, they're ready to smoke. You don't need nothing to.
- 1:21:32It so and if they're only if they're only being shipped and
- 1:21:35it only takes a couple days to get here, you're not really
- 1:21:37losing anything. Well, that's like, that's like
- 1:21:40when we were with you at the smoke shop and I said, oh, I got
- 1:21:45to put this down for 30 days. You said why?
- 1:21:47I said it's got a marinade. You go, shit's already to smoke.
- 1:21:51Yeah. If a factory put a cigar out, if
- 1:21:55a factory put a cigar out and let out the brand go and, and,
- 1:21:58and they just in a hurry or whatever, or they sold and the
- 1:22:02cigars are only three days gone and they want to put it out.
- 1:22:05I don't see any factory it will even allow to have the cigars
- 1:22:09out before they're ready to smoke.
- 1:22:11Now, it's not six months, it's not a year, it's not 2 years.
- 1:22:15It's not bullshit to send another country and have these
- 1:22:18whatever in the Himalayas with the Fuchsi water, you know,
- 1:22:23contemplating whatever for three years.
- 1:22:25That's fucking bullshit. Cigars.
- 1:22:26A cigar. The cigar is already age.
- 1:22:29The only thing is no age not know it.
- 1:22:33The only thing it is is humid because you have to spray water
- 1:22:36into the wrapper for me, you know handible so you can roll
- 1:22:41the cigar otherwise you but that takes literally 15 days to go in
- 1:22:48and 50 days to go out. So it's 30 days.
- 1:22:50So now you want to have a six months, seven months, 8 months,
- 1:22:54do whatever you want. People think that the older the
- 1:22:57cigars are, the better are like the wine.
- 1:22:59I said yes to a point that wine it will become vinage sooner or
- 1:23:03later. So you better don't have your
- 1:23:05bottle of wine for 20 years waiting for you.
- 1:23:08Same thing with cigars. You have a cigar.
- 1:23:10Oh, this cigar, it tastes way better than five years ago.
- 1:23:12Well, that means that you don't like the strength.
- 1:23:14The strength equals nicotine. You don't like nicotine because
- 1:23:17it lost. Oh, Lutis rappers have Lutikolo,
- 1:23:20the rapper. Well, it's nicotine or it's
- 1:23:22because the cigar was painted. So it's too many things that
- 1:23:26people, you know, AC the cigar industry is, is it's easy to
- 1:23:30know, but very difficult at the same time and very complex.
- 1:23:33So you, yeah, if you like a cigar, this cigar in two years
- 1:23:38you like better than now. And this cigar has been ready
- 1:23:41for the smoke for a year already is because you don't like a high
- 1:23:45nicotine contents, that's all. I don't lose nicotine, that's
- 1:23:50all. We have to wind down.
- 1:23:53I don't know if you guys want to stay on.
- 1:23:54We can record another hour off the air.
- 1:23:57It's up to you guys. If not, that's fine too.
- 1:24:00I'm game with that. Whatever you guys want to do.
- 1:24:01Whatever you want to do is, if you got time, you want to hang
- 1:24:04out, that's up to you. I have.
- 1:24:06About 6 minutes because then talking about TPA, we have a
- 1:24:09leader meeting for the TPA board members.
- 1:24:12All right, no worries. So.
- 1:24:13Guys, this is turnbuckers and Stogie's pot.
- 1:24:15I'm the big dog. This the vanilla gorilla.
- 1:24:18We had Ishmael, Olivant B AM FTPA and we had Wyndham.
- 1:24:22And all cigars get to check out all things cigars.
- 1:24:26What is it? All things cigars.com, Right,
- 1:24:28ish. That's all.
- 1:24:29Yes, all things cigars.com. We have our page, which I think
- 1:24:34I'm going to try to use that and kind of start doing some like
- 1:24:37typed out reviews on some cigars.
- 1:24:40So everybody. OK, this this website is 100%
- 1:24:46pay by Cathy Paternity, which is one of the more members or TPA.
- 1:24:52Yeah, this team nobody can put it down like you can talk about
- 1:24:57cigars and you to go and put it down or the other guy or the
- 1:25:00other guy this is not it's private and you can do the same
- 1:25:03thing that we're doing over here can be done in the platform so
- 1:25:07and nobody can you put you down. So it's the good thing and the
- 1:25:10TPA members, they have it very good because I don't know how
- 1:25:14many spots still and it was for free for the members and then
- 1:25:18it's going to be a little tiny feat for non members.
- 1:25:20But yeah, so check it out. I want to ask you this question
- 1:25:26real fast. So you got a move with TPA today
- 1:25:29or is that just a board? No, today, today I have with
- 1:25:34some of the of the board members, no TPA for everyone.
- 1:25:37It's for the members to talk about the not even the members,
- 1:25:41sorry, it's not yet for the members.
- 1:25:42It's for the organizers of the Pensacola which is coming in two
- 1:25:46weeks, right. So we have a 12/30, as a matter
- 1:25:50of fact, No, sorry. It's at 1:00.
- 1:25:52It's at 1:00. So yeah.
- 1:25:53And it's, yeah, it's not worth it.
- 1:25:55It's at 1:00 when we have it. So it's going to be the people
- 1:25:58that you know, it's going to be history.
- 1:26:00It's part of them, Kathy's part of them.
- 1:26:02Bond by the Leaf is part of them and me.
- 1:26:05So it's four different entities that put together the whole
- 1:26:08event. And yes, to make sure everything
- 1:26:10is paid, everything is done. I have a question, so how does
- 1:26:14turnbuckers and smogies get on your pod on?
- 1:26:17The The Factory Reserve podcast. How do we what to to the in the
- 1:26:24podcast to talk about about the. Things like to get on, to get on
- 1:26:28as a guest. Easy whenever you tell me you
- 1:26:31you this Monday I have, tomorrow I have somebody but you want
- 1:26:34next Monday just let me know is 7:00 my time?
- 1:26:36Next Monday? Next Monday is what, the 20th?
- 1:26:39Which I'm I'm off that day. Let's do it.
- 1:26:42It's 7:00 and we just. Talk shit.
- 1:26:45No, I, you know what? I I tuned in.
- 1:26:47I tuned in last week when you had Angel on.
- 1:26:50Yes. And and that was I, I, I enjoyed
- 1:26:54it. We were, I was out with him
- 1:26:56doing DoorDash and I just I said, oh, look, ish is live on
- 1:26:58Instagram and I clicked it. Then I said, wait a minute, I'm
- 1:27:01like, hold on. That's, that's not I know that
- 1:27:03setup. I'm like that stream yard.
- 1:27:04Wait a minute, where is he? And then when I started doing
- 1:27:07some some YouTube search and I found it.
- 1:27:10Yeah. And we were watching some of the
- 1:27:13episodes and I'm like, that's, that's actually, it's a good
- 1:27:16idea to have as a podcast because you can talk about your,
- 1:27:19your reserve club, the packs that people have gotten and you
- 1:27:24know. I want you to plug your shows.
- 1:27:26Yes, go ahead, you got to. Wind down.
- 1:27:28So plug all your shows that you do and wind them, plug yours and
- 1:27:32then we got to wind down. Go for it.
- 1:27:36You can catch us on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Windham
- 1:27:39Reserve cigars we're on every night.
