- 0:10Speaker 1: Good Morning, John, morn Frog morning, Megan, Good morning. It's
- 0:13Speaker 1: a nice weekend. And you were busy.
- 0:15Speaker 3: I was a busy girl.
- 0:16Speaker 4: Yeah, you were, so where were you Friday?
- 0:19Speaker 3: Friday?
- 0:21Speaker 5: I don't think I had anything Friday Saturday.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Yeah, Tyler Nance.
- 0:25Speaker 4: Came here too, to the radio station.
- 0:28Speaker 5: Yeah, and he performed for some of our wonderful friends
- 0:32Speaker 5: that came, and then he went off to bulls Bands
- 0:35Speaker 5: and Barrels and we were able to set everyone.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Up with tickets, so everyone kind of went with him.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Nice, very cool. Yeah, and then yesterday you ride on
- 0:42Speaker 1: the tiki bar. I was on Jack speech, I.
- 0:45Speaker 5: Love me a Tiki bar. A frozen T shirt contests
- 0:48Speaker 5: that we did. That's epic, right, Yeah, except I don't
- 0:51Speaker 5: know how some people got so far in this because
- 0:54Speaker 5: there was an ice block in these T shirts.
- 0:57Speaker 3: I mean it was frozen solid.
- 0:59Speaker 4: Maybe a little fro It's a cool game. It's funny
- 1:01Speaker 4: because yeah, it's a fun game.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Some people hear when they hear it, they think wet
- 1:04Speaker 1: T shirt and it's like, no, that's not what it is.
- 1:07Speaker 1: It's a it's a T shirt that's put in in
- 1:09Speaker 1: a freezer, in a knot, and you have to and
- 1:12Speaker 1: but it's frozen solid like a block of ice.
- 1:15Speaker 2: People are trying to do their they're slamming it against
- 1:17Speaker 2: the wall, doing anything they can.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Yeah, you have to untie it. Whoever unties it, you win.
- 1:21Speaker 1: It's a cool game, though.
- 1:23Speaker 5: It looked kind of like Jelly Roll and Pat McAfee
- 1:25Speaker 5: on SmackDown. I mean, like you, oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah,
- 1:31Speaker 5: it was crazy.
- 1:32Speaker 4: Look did you did you see that? By the way, No,
- 1:34Speaker 4: I did not see that.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Okay, so Jelly Roll jumped off a table and landed
- 1:37Speaker 1: on Pat McAfee and crashed them to a table. I
- 1:41Speaker 1: don't care who you are. Jelly Roll lands on you.
- 1:43Speaker 1: That hurts, right, So you can say wrestling's fake all you.
- 1:46Speaker 2: That's why you make sure jelly falls on his knee
- 1:49Speaker 2: before he falls, puts his buddy weight on you.
- 1:51Speaker 4: I'm not sure he did.
- 1:52Speaker 3: It looks pretty real to me, Like you, they're the line.
- 1:55Speaker 5: Between scripted and someone is actually getting their you know
- 2:00Speaker 5: what rocks.
- 2:01Speaker 3: It's very thin.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I would not want to be pad McAfee, and
- 2:06Speaker 1: I wouldn't want to take that chance.
- 2:07Speaker 4: He's in good.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Shape, he can handle it. But if Jelly roll lands
- 2:12Speaker 1: on you, okay, I don't care who you are, Yeah,
- 2:14Speaker 1: fake or not fake, I don't care. If you're laying
- 2:16Speaker 1: on a bed, Jelly lands on you.
- 2:18Speaker 4: That hurts. So what a crazy crazy It was the
- 2:23Speaker 4: highlight of the weekend.
- 2:23Speaker 1: I definitely watched that, and I watched the jump like
- 2:26Speaker 1: five or six times to see if his knee does
- 2:28Speaker 1: hit the ground, right, I'm not sure it does. Wow,
- 2:32Speaker 1: he lands on and I even think it hurt Jelly
- 2:35Speaker 1: a little bit because it took him a little bit
- 2:36Speaker 1: to stand up and get his bearings right, and then
- 2:38Speaker 1: he was then back into the back into whatever they
- 2:40Speaker 1: were doing again.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, but I got it was something to it.
- 2:43Speaker 4: But yeah, good weekend and hot. We had a great weekend.
- 2:46Speaker 2: We went to uh mcita or pulled the grand prize
- 2:50Speaker 2: winner up there at Caitlyn's Ride for Autism in the
- 2:52Speaker 2: Hilliard and and got first hand sight or smell of
- 2:56Speaker 2: the wildfires up Yes, yeah, it was. It's smoky all
- 2:59Speaker 2: around everywhere we went. We went to Clay County, my
- 3:02Speaker 2: wife and I just drove around to different things all weekend,
- 3:05Speaker 2: and everywhere we went it seemed like we were running
- 3:07Speaker 2: into into some smoky places.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Yeah, air quality is not going right now.
- 3:10Speaker 3: No, did it seem like in Hillar they were doing okay?
- 3:13Speaker 3: Because well, I mean that.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Sounded that far deep into Connors right there in the Conners.
- 3:18Speaker 2: But there's a Connors road that was closed that it wouldn't.
- 3:21Speaker 2: I don't know where it is proximity to where I was,
- 3:23Speaker 2: but I know at us one, I stopped off and
- 3:25Speaker 2: got a coke on the way at the circle k
- 3:28Speaker 2: on my way home, and there were two fire trucks
- 3:30Speaker 2: that went by the lady behind the counter and went,
- 3:32Speaker 2: well they've been doing it all day.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Wow.
- 3:34Speaker 2: So man, it was just a mess all around all
- 3:36Speaker 2: around town. So yeah, we feel for everybody who's losing
- 3:39Speaker 2: some property right.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Now, as far as that goes, Let's get into a
- 3:42Speaker 1: Megicant's three things that you need to notice.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Get you started on this Jacksonville mon.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Day, much cooler start, a little wind blowing today and
- 3:48Speaker 1: only seventy four far hide today.
- 3:51Speaker 5: Yeah, let's talk about these wildfires a little bit more
- 3:53Speaker 5: because we're still.
- 3:55Speaker 4: In this bad drought.
- 3:56Speaker 5: This weekend, there was a ton of wildfires like Grape
- 4:00Speaker 5: Cove Cove Springs Putnam County and in Lake City and
- 4:04Speaker 5: in Hilliard. The pictures that I saw online were the
- 4:07Speaker 5: community coming together to.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Prepare lunch or some kind of meal.
- 4:11Speaker 4: For a SAU stage game. Fidy fighters. Yeah, the little
- 4:13Speaker 4: league got beautiful.
- 4:14Speaker 2: The game got shut down because of the smoke, so
- 4:16Speaker 2: that they turned it into a good thing and.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Provided lunch for those who are volunteering.
- 4:20Speaker 3: That's so awesome.
- 4:21Speaker 5: If you have any plans to burn anything, do not
- 4:24Speaker 5: do it this week. These wins that Froggy's talking about
- 4:26Speaker 5: are no jokes, and they will come in and push
- 4:30Speaker 5: the fire to places you didn't think that it would go,
- 4:32Speaker 5: so just be extra careful. The tallest building in Saint
- 4:36Speaker 5: Augustine is the Exchange Bank building. Well, it's becoming a
- 4:40Speaker 5: new hotel with one hundred and twenty rooms that wo'd
- 4:43Speaker 5: be pretty neat to go stay there for a little
- 4:44Speaker 5: weekend staycation.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Do vall.
- 4:47Speaker 5: In Nassau County, high school students have the opportunity to
- 4:50Speaker 5: go to a summer camp, which is cool. A lot
- 4:53Speaker 5: of the summer camps are for littler kids, so these
- 4:55Speaker 5: kids have the chance through Florida State College to go
- 4:59Speaker 5: to various camps to learn more about artificial intelligence, biotech,
- 5:05Speaker 5: health careers in college readiness, which is cool. And they
- 5:08Speaker 5: have a dance program which is really neat. That's three
- 5:10Speaker 5: things you need to know.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Thanks for starting off. You're Jacksonville Monday with you I K.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Good morning The Big Show with Froggie, John and Meghan.
- 5:17Speaker 1: So John, you remember last week Megan, we were talking
- 5:19Speaker 1: about Morgan wall and coming to Gainesville. Yeah, May fifteenth
- 5:23Speaker 1: and sixteenth? Yeah, who's going to do the walkout?
- 5:25Speaker 4: Right?
- 5:26Speaker 1: So over the weekend he was in Alabama and he
- 5:29Speaker 1: did Brian Denny Stadium where the Tide played was Yeah,
- 5:33Speaker 1: did you see who walked out with him?
- 5:34Speaker 4: No? Was it Nick Saban? Was Nick Saban? Okay?
- 5:37Speaker 1: So that leads me to believe Tim. And if you
- 5:40Speaker 1: got to do two nights in Gainesville, Night one is
- 5:43Speaker 1: Tim Night two, Steve, you think Spurrier if you're going
- 5:48Speaker 1: to do Saban when you do spurr.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Well, Saban's more recent Spurrier hadn't been Spurrier, hadn't been
- 5:54Speaker 2: the coach of Florida since two thousand and.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Three, or was still a legend?
- 5:57Speaker 2: Oh yeah, still a legend, the only player to win
- 5:59Speaker 2: a He's in the College Football Hall of Fame as
- 6:01Speaker 2: a player and a coach, right, Yeah, I mean he's
- 6:03Speaker 2: a rare bird.
- 6:04Speaker 1: So I just don't see who else you could possibly have.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Like the sabing thing made me think Sprarier might be
- 6:09Speaker 1: a bit more of a Tim Tebow is a shoeing, right,
- 6:12Speaker 1: Tim Tebow has to be the walk out. He has
- 6:14Speaker 1: to be maybe Night one, I'm hoping if he didn't.
- 6:16Speaker 1: If he didn't, he failed. Yeah it's a fail on
- 6:19Speaker 1: Morgan's part. But I'm thinking Night too is Spury because
- 6:21Speaker 1: I can't think of who would be better than Sprayer.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I know we kept thinking that because people were bringing
- 6:25Speaker 2: up the sand and some Trump and all that.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Yeah, they're both huge. Yeah, I would love to see
- 6:29Speaker 4: him watch out with with with even one of those.
- 6:31Speaker 4: But maybe he'll keep it Gainesville centric. Then you have
- 6:34Speaker 4: to do it.
- 6:35Speaker 5: Is he like considered a local celebrity in Gainesville.
- 6:40Speaker 3: He's out and about, everyone knows who he is.
- 6:42Speaker 2: He's got a restaurant there, so he's probably the legend
- 6:46Speaker 2: is still there. He's been around the around the program.
- 6:50Speaker 2: I guess I'm back around the program right now.
- 6:52Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, so I think I think that's it and
- 6:55Speaker 4: walk Morgan.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Probably Sean always has to make the face of the
- 7:01Speaker 1: body room when he does.
- 7:02Speaker 4: I have to. I can't.
- 7:03Speaker 2: I could.
- 7:03Speaker 4: I don't even know. I do his voice, but I
- 7:05Speaker 4: have to do his face in order to get close.
- 7:07Speaker 4: That's trying to Megan's at Music City minute. It's a
- 7:10Speaker 4: lot going on.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I know some stuff happened at the Morgan show in Tuscaloosa.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Yeah night.
- 7:14Speaker 5: Well, Ella Langley's from Alabama, so it made sense that
- 7:17Speaker 5: she was going to.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Go all out for that show.
- 7:20Speaker 5: But we didn't know that she was gonna release a
- 7:24Speaker 5: brand new duet surprise everyone, her and Morgan Wallen. It's
- 7:28Speaker 5: called I Can't Love You Anymore. Oh so they performed
- 7:31Speaker 5: it for the first time ever. I mean, they kept
- 7:33Speaker 5: this so hush hush. I'm really impressed.
- 7:35Speaker 1: They said that in the In the video for one
- 7:37Speaker 1: of her songs, the license plate on the car in
- 7:40Speaker 1: the video had icy La on it, and nobody could
- 7:43Speaker 1: figure out what it means.
- 7:44Speaker 4: Yeah, now we know it stood for I Can't Love
- 7:46Speaker 4: You Anymore. Morgan.
- 7:47Speaker 1: It's coming out this coming Friday. I believe we're going
- 7:50Speaker 1: to be playing it every hour beautiful.
- 7:52Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean it just it looks cool. And Ella
- 7:54Speaker 5: was just such a vibe. I mean, she looked beautiful.
- 7:57Speaker 5: Her presence on stage is so unique to me because
- 8:00Speaker 5: I'm not I'm not sure how to feel when I
- 8:03Speaker 5: watched right.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Nick, sometimes it's it's it's yeah, pretty different.
- 8:08Speaker 5: Yeah, and it kind of makes me. It kind of
- 8:10Speaker 5: makes me a kind of turned my head a little bit.
- 8:12Speaker 5: I'm not gonna lie, but look like everyone loved it.
- 8:15Speaker 4: That's great.
- 8:16Speaker 5: And then Jelly roll and Pat McAfee, they were on
- 8:18Speaker 5: WrestleMania forty two. Jelly Rowl smashed Pat through a table,
- 8:22Speaker 5: you know, flicked in the bird.
- 8:24Speaker 3: It was the whole typical smacked.
- 8:26Speaker 5: Out experience that you would see, except it looks pretty
- 8:30Speaker 5: legit and I'm wondering if Pat might be in the hospital.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Probably went playback on it. He went back and backed
- 8:37Speaker 2: it up to check it out.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I'm definitely gonna watch McAfee today to see if he's breathing. Okay,
- 8:42Speaker 1: lands on you.
- 8:44Speaker 3: That hurts absolutely that. I'm Meghan. That's your music City Minute, Big.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Show with Froggy China, Meghan, I think Froggy's gonna walk
- 8:51Speaker 2: to the ends of the Earth. You have become a
- 8:53Speaker 2: walking machine.
- 8:55Speaker 4: I felt like Forrest Gump over here.
- 8:57Speaker 2: I'm telling you there's this a this kid's triathlon coming up.
- 9:02Speaker 2: I was thinking, if the three of us were to
- 9:03Speaker 2: do a triathlon, what legs would we do of the triathlon? Right,
- 9:07Speaker 2: you got the walking running part, Okay, I would do that.
- 9:10Speaker 2: You hands down, you're up close. What would you do?
- 9:13Speaker 2: Did you swim or bike? Which one would you want
- 9:15Speaker 2: to do?
- 9:15Speaker 5: I think I would be in the lawn chair with
- 9:17Speaker 5: the cooler. Really moral support committee, Okay, I think that's
- 9:21Speaker 5: my role. Okay, yeah, making sure so Froggy is getting close.
- 9:25Speaker 5: He's on pace now to crack a half a million
- 9:27Speaker 5: miles walking this month, this month alone, that's crazy.
- 9:31Speaker 1: So I got some doctor's information we're talking to in
- 9:37Speaker 1: early February, right, So January I went for a scan.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Things were not good, and then they said, well, we
- 9:42Speaker 1: want to say much you're exercising. So I gave them
- 9:44Speaker 1: information and gave them the access to my Apple Health,
- 9:48Speaker 1: which is because my watch.
- 9:49Speaker 4: I had my Apple Watch. I wear it all the time,
- 9:51Speaker 4: so it tracks my steps and all that kind of stuff.
- 9:53Speaker 1: So in the month of January and the entire month
- 9:57Speaker 1: I walked one hundred and fifty six thousand steps. That's
- 9:59Speaker 1: it sounds like a lot. It's not the lies, It's
- 10:03Speaker 1: not right. It's like five thousand. Yeah, it's not many
- 10:06Speaker 1: at all.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Okay.
- 10:07Speaker 1: So then February came and I slowly started ramping up
- 10:11Speaker 1: a little bit. So in February I did two hundred
- 10:13Speaker 1: and twenty seven thousand, So.
- 10:14Speaker 3: You what is that like? Double?
- 10:16Speaker 4: Almost so that three hundred woud have been double?
- 10:18Speaker 1: But it was better. Yeah, it was better. Then March
- 10:20Speaker 1: came and I'm like, all right, I've been getting into this. Yeah,
- 10:23Speaker 1: March I did four hundred and thirteen thousand, pretty strong.
- 10:25Speaker 4: So I did. I did better? Incredible? Are you kidding?
- 10:28Speaker 1: But last week, man, I knocked it out of the park.
- 10:31Speaker 1: So this this month, we are nineteen days into the month.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Because the day's the twentieth, I haven't really haven't right,
- 10:37Speaker 1: today can't count because I haven't really done.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Get eleven days left. Twentieth through the thirtieth.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I met over three hundred and fifty thousand this month alone, man,
- 10:47Speaker 1: And last week last week I walked one hundred and
- 10:50Speaker 1: forty six thousand.
- 10:51Speaker 4: Steps in one week.
- 10:53Speaker 1: So you know that's as mini as I did almost
- 10:56Speaker 1: in the whole month of January.
- 10:58Speaker 5: Yeah, so you're gonna pop out one of your last
- 11:00Speaker 5: month records in the next eleven days.
- 11:03Speaker 1: The biggest dad I had was yesterday thirty thousand, two
- 11:06Speaker 1: hundred and two steps yesterday alone.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Oh, how in the world can is there enough time?
- 11:10Speaker 3: I don't understand how you're doing it.
- 11:11Speaker 4: So I got up in the morning. Yes, I walked
- 11:13Speaker 4: seven miles. Oh, well, that'll help.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I did a seven mile walk, which is approximately fourteen
- 11:17Speaker 1: thousand steps. My miles approximately two thousand steps.
- 11:19Speaker 4: Okay, so I.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Walked fourteen tops fourteen thousand steps. Then my wife had
- 11:23Speaker 1: some little some of the little girls in the neighborhood.
- 11:25Speaker 4: Over for fun. Do I couldn't do it? I could.
- 11:29Speaker 1: I tried very hard. At the walk, I left. I
- 11:32Speaker 1: went on another walk. This is like, where are you
- 11:34Speaker 1: going on a walk? I walked another six miles, five miles,
- 11:37Speaker 1: but a fun don't I walked another five or six miles. Yeah,
- 11:40Speaker 1: I walked another six five or six miles then and
- 11:43Speaker 1: then later in the afternoon, the dog wanted to go
- 11:44Speaker 1: on a walks. I took a dog on a walk.
- 11:46Speaker 3: So it's like, your ho, this is becoming like your hobby.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's his main job actually, right a walk
- 11:52Speaker 1: put more helwords there. Yeah, dude, what a goal is
- 11:55Speaker 1: half a million this month?
- 11:56Speaker 4: You can do it. That's my goal.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Now.
- 11:57Speaker 4: Was your doctor saying don't over ever? Said I overdo it.
- 12:00Speaker 1: No, he said that he didn't want me running a
- 12:02Speaker 1: lot because impacts on my joints is not good. Yeah,
- 12:05Speaker 1: that's true, but he said walking is good. If you
- 12:08Speaker 1: can walk until you can't walk anymore, just keep walking. Well,
- 12:10Speaker 1: just keep on walking. It's great for you. You're inspirational. So yes,
- 12:15Speaker 1: so I know you're doing it for your health, but
- 12:16Speaker 1: you have taken it to now a true fitness extreme
- 12:19Speaker 1: and that's wonderful.
- 12:20Speaker 4: My wife says, I'm obsessed.
- 12:22Speaker 5: Well yeah, but if you have to do something the
- 12:24Speaker 5: doctor's telling you, you might as well become obsessed.
- 12:26Speaker 4: Mice, we'll be good at it.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Yeah, there's something to be obsessed with. At least it's this.
- 12:30Speaker 2: That's the one thing I know about him. It's like,
- 12:31Speaker 2: if he's gonna do it, he's gonna do it big,
- 12:32Speaker 2: he's gonna do it right.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Right, So I'm all in so for the rest of this.
- 12:36Speaker 1: So today I'm determined to be over four hundred thousand
- 12:40Speaker 1: by time I get to Thursday.
- 12:41Speaker 4: Wow, so I need another fifty thousand.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Life Firsteple watch so everybody can watch this happen. I
- 12:47Speaker 2: think that's that's the best drama ever is to watch
- 12:50Speaker 2: you hit this goal.
- 12:51Speaker 4: Yeah, so that's the deal. So id just go on
- 12:52Speaker 4: to walk.
- 12:52Speaker 1: So if you see me walking around the neighborhood, just
- 12:55Speaker 1: don't bother me. I walked to lunch.
- 12:56Speaker 4: Now. I walked to the grocery.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Store with you and Fernandina, and you walked in when
- 13:00Speaker 2: your wife didn't walk and you went walking.
- 13:02Speaker 1: The only place I didn't walk was a twisted sister
- 13:04Speaker 1: because they had the min's daycare in the front lobby.
- 13:06Speaker 4: There those dolphin chairs. So I sat down and watched golf.
- 13:10Speaker 2: With with Country ninety nine one wq IK The Big
- 13:13Speaker 2: Show with Froggy, John and Meghan. Five Florida men facing
- 13:17Speaker 2: felony charges here. It's ingenious in a way, but you're
- 13:21Speaker 2: idiots all the way across northwest to Florida. These guys
- 13:25Speaker 2: have been stealing diesel fuel from gas stations. Okay, I
- 13:28Speaker 2: mean they didn't go the old route. When you get
- 13:31Speaker 2: the siphon off, you go.
- 13:32Speaker 4: Yeah, no, spit it out. Yeah. Strong magnets.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Oh, they're using these strong magnets, powerful magnets on fuel pumps.
- 13:40Speaker 2: It overrides the internal components and allows fuel to flow
- 13:44Speaker 2: freely without triggering the payment center. How about that? And
- 13:49Speaker 2: they didn't just take a little I mean they were
- 13:51Speaker 2: filling up semi trucks with this stuff. Wow, it's as
- 13:54Speaker 2: idiots about say they good to be with you, Froggy,
- 13:57Speaker 2: John and Meghan at Froggy.
- 13:59Speaker 4: We're talking about a weekend, Frogg.
- 14:00Speaker 2: You went up to Fronadina Beach and walked evidently twenty
- 14:02Speaker 2: five thousand miles. But did y'all eat up there? Because
- 14:05Speaker 2: I love every time we go up in front of them,
- 14:07Speaker 2: we find a fun place to eat. We do.
- 14:08Speaker 1: We always find somewhere new. This this time we went
- 14:10Speaker 1: somewhere we had we've been. We've actually been before because
- 14:13Speaker 1: we liked it. We go to Sliders sometimes, which is
- 14:15Speaker 1: in the roundabout. There's you're going up up up a
- 14:18Speaker 1: one a. I don't even know. It's a one a
- 14:20Speaker 1: all the way right on the beach Sliders in the roundabout.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Just south of Sliders, there's a place called the surf
- 14:25Speaker 1: Okay Restaurant. It's blue. It's got a blue roof, okay,
- 14:30Speaker 1: and it's got an outdoor. It's got some indoor seating,
- 14:33Speaker 1: but a lot of covered outdoor seating. So it was
- 14:34Speaker 1: great Saturday afternoon.
- 14:36Speaker 4: We went.
- 14:38Speaker 1: But while we're there, we're getting ready to leave. We're
- 14:40Speaker 1: paying the check, we're getting ready to leave. We're gonna
- 14:42Speaker 1: go going up to Fernandina. This lady pulls in in
- 14:47Speaker 1: a jeep truck and she's coming in hot, like it's
- 14:52Speaker 1: got there. There's parking behind the restaurant. But then there's
- 14:55Speaker 1: like the kind of diagonal parking right there in front,
- 14:58Speaker 1: right off the road. Okay, right off the road in
- 15:00Speaker 1: to the restaurant.
- 15:01Speaker 4: I love.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Those spaces are so easy to pull into.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Well you would think so. So this suddy pulls in
- 15:06Speaker 1: and you hear her. You hear her like hit the
- 15:10Speaker 1: concrete bumper, the strip, the strip that's in the ground,
- 15:13Speaker 1: and then she kind of rolls up on that and
- 15:14Speaker 1: tags the yellow post that is in front of the
- 15:18Speaker 1: parking spot that's meant to keep you from driving into
- 15:20Speaker 1: the restaurant.
- 15:23Speaker 3: The concrete stopper things one.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Of those things where you know you sometimes you miss
- 15:28Speaker 2: the brake and you hit the accelerator and you scarce
- 15:31Speaker 2: the crap out of you.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Yeah, we see this while we're checking out. I'm sitting
- 15:34Speaker 1: at the table and we're at the We're at a
- 15:36Speaker 1: place where had she ran through there, it.
- 15:37Speaker 4: Would have been right next to us. So she gets
- 15:40Speaker 4: out of the car and there were other people around.
- 15:43Speaker 1: She says, these brakes, they haven't worked right in a
- 15:46Speaker 1: long time.
- 15:47Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, And you don't want to hear come
- 15:49Speaker 4: out of her mouth.
- 15:50Speaker 6: I'm like, oh, why why did you drive that?
- 15:53Speaker 4: Did you have other modes of transportation?
- 15:55Speaker 6: You should have walked? I mean you could have. I
- 15:57Speaker 6: don't know, ubered, I would have picked you up.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, would be telling people that. I mean that
- 16:02Speaker 3: sounds like the worst excuse you.
- 16:03Speaker 4: Could come up with, this death trap. I don't know
- 16:05Speaker 4: when I'm going to trade it in. She closed the
- 16:07Speaker 4: door and walked off like nothing happened. Everybody around like, uh,
- 16:11Speaker 4: jaw dropping, going Really she just blamed the breaks.
- 16:13Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, yeah, so but it was good though.
- 16:16Speaker 1: We had a good, good Saturday afternoon. Fernandina.
- 16:19Speaker 5: Haven't you and your wife been in the restaurant where
- 16:21Speaker 5: someone drove through it before?
- 16:22Speaker 3: Already?
- 16:23Speaker 1: Yeah, we're in a cracker barrel one time and somebody
- 16:25Speaker 1: drove into the you know, the Cracker brow has a
- 16:26Speaker 1: little lobby. Yeah, there's always the door you walk in,
- 16:29Speaker 1: and you have to walk in that second door into
- 16:30Speaker 1: the Old Country Store. Yeah, somebody made the Old Country
- 16:33Speaker 1: Store drive through. Wow, it drove into it. It was
- 16:36Speaker 1: we were sitting there and we heard a boom. I'm like, uh,
- 16:40Speaker 1: that don't sound good, and something's not good, and we
- 16:42Speaker 1: went out. Of course, you know me, I went out looking.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Of course you did.
- 16:46Speaker 4: I'm figuring out how it happened.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Neighborhood committee got the.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Police report and gave it to the top exactly. But yeah,
- 16:52Speaker 2: sol in the restaurant, she blamed the breaks. I didn't
- 16:55Speaker 2: talk to these people. You left that up to the
- 17:00Speaker 2: authorities and people in charge.
- 17:01Speaker 1: They were in enough to spare and they didn't not
- 17:03Speaker 1: need need to inquire about exactly what happened to making
- 17:06Speaker 1: sure a minivan was parked up against the h the
- 17:10Speaker 1: old Santa.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Suits and the cracker barrel, some Dolly Parton stuff.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Yes, yes, the Lady Wilson Merch was laying across that hood. Yeah,
- 17:19Speaker 1: let's getting the Mega three things to get you through
- 17:21Speaker 1: your Jacksonville Monday. Much cooler today. Yes, nineties are over
- 17:25Speaker 1: the weekend and today we'll see seventy four for our
- 17:27Speaker 1: high crazy and kind of breezy as well too. Let's
- 17:29Speaker 1: god of warm back up by the weekend.
- 17:31Speaker 5: Yeah, the winds are are no joke. This whole week
- 17:35Speaker 5: We're in a fire watch.
- 17:37Speaker 4: So you sit out in Hilliard. Over the weekend. We
- 17:39Speaker 4: had some bad fires.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Oh and man, it's still going. I mean there's a
- 17:41Speaker 2: lot of fires right now, less than five ten percent
- 17:44Speaker 2: contained all around our listening areas.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Man, and not just in Hilliard.
- 17:48Speaker 5: I mean there were several places that were just getting
- 17:51Speaker 5: It was like fire after fire after fire this weekend.
- 17:54Speaker 5: So don't burn anything. We're in a drought. The winds
- 17:57Speaker 5: are a lot stronger than you think they are, so
- 17:59Speaker 5: just to be careful. Duval County and not Nassau County
- 18:03Speaker 5: high school students have the opportunity to do some really
- 18:06Speaker 5: cool summer camps like artificial intelligence, biotech, different health centered
- 18:13Speaker 5: college readiness sort of programs. And they've got to dance
- 18:16Speaker 5: one too, which is pretty cool. It's through Florida State College.
- 18:19Speaker 5: So you've got a high schooler who isn't going to
- 18:22Speaker 5: work and needs something to do. This would be a
- 18:23Speaker 5: really good start for that. The tallest building in Saint Augustine,
- 18:27Speaker 5: the Exchange Bank building. It's becoming a new hotel with
- 18:30Speaker 5: one hundred and twenty rooms. So I think that's really exciting.
- 18:34Speaker 4: That's cool.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Last staycation might be in our futures.
- 18:36Speaker 4: That's three things you need to know, all right, John,
- 18:38Speaker 4: we got a brand new week. What are we be
- 18:39Speaker 4: playing for in the pop Quiz?
- 18:40Speaker 2: Well, this week on the pop Quaz Russell Dickerson concert
- 18:43Speaker 2: tickets for this Friday night's console.
- 18:44Speaker 1: That's right, he's going to be her Friday night Sant
- 18:46Speaker 1: Augustine Amphitheater. If you haven't been to a Russell Dickerson show,
- 18:49Speaker 1: high energy. Yeah, I got one word to describe it,
- 18:52Speaker 1: a party. It is It is an absolute party. Well,
- 18:55Speaker 1: the name of the tour is the Russell Mania Tour Friday.
- 18:58Speaker 4: That's all. We gonna jump off.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Of a stage and smash somebody to a table like
- 19:03Speaker 1: Jelly Roll and Pat mcne It's going to be a party.
- 19:06Speaker 4: If you may go. What do you call us? Nine
- 19:08Speaker 4: and ten right now to play the pop quiz? That
- 19:11Speaker 4: is nine oh four three. La Langley comes out some
- 19:13Speaker 4: surprise and stuff.
- 19:15Speaker 5: Yeah, a new duet that they've got together. It's called
- 19:18Speaker 5: I Can't Love You Anymore. And that's the world premiere
- 19:21Speaker 5: Friday Frog is that?
- 19:21Speaker 4: Yeah, it comes out on Friday's week. How's it going?
- 19:23Speaker 2: Where are the big show Froggy, John and Megan a
- 19:25Speaker 2: Country ninety nine to one wq IK.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Where the thirteen K pay day starts today? Yeah?
- 19:30Speaker 1: So well, here's what I don't understand it. I say
- 19:32Speaker 1: this every time, like if we go up to upper management,
- 19:34Speaker 1: when we walk over there and we're like, hey, listen,
- 19:36Speaker 1: can we can we get a couple extra dollars because
- 19:38Speaker 1: we worked hard today? Oh we don't have that. Oh
- 19:41Speaker 1: but we have one thousand dollars to give away every
- 19:44Speaker 1: hour today. Yes, yeah, I don't quite understand. It doesn't
- 19:46Speaker 1: make sense. However, I'm glad we're offering you the chance
- 19:50Speaker 1: to win one thousand dollars. And I ask myself sometimes
- 19:53Speaker 1: if I if somebody just gave me one.
- 19:55Speaker 4: Thousand dollars out of nowhere, what would you buy?
- 19:57Speaker 1: Like if you just had one thousand dollars that you
- 20:00Speaker 1: could just I mean, because listen, that's if you're stressing
- 20:03Speaker 1: about a bill or stressing or payment or just listen.
- 20:06Speaker 4: That makes a huge difference. It does. Thousand bucks, Megan,
- 20:09Speaker 4: thousand dollars came into your life.
- 20:11Speaker 5: Dang, what would you do inslightable kiddie pool for in
- 20:13Speaker 5: front of my trailer?
- 20:14Speaker 3: That's what I'm getting.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Okay, that's good, good John.
- 20:19Speaker 2: It'd going the grand kids somehow, grand kids, Yeah, somehow
- 20:22Speaker 2: we would pay something or by diapers because.
- 20:24Speaker 4: Those right now, what would you do, Morgan Walling? Tickets?
- 20:29Speaker 3: Oh, that's that's a good one.
- 20:31Speaker 4: That's a good one. Morgan is going to be too
- 20:33Speaker 4: swamp and that's not what they're going for.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Right, yeah, exactly, So, yeah, Morgan Wall, I would go
- 20:38Speaker 1: see Morgan Wall now would still parking because I'm sure
- 20:42Speaker 1: they're going to be charging and arm and a leg
- 20:44Speaker 1: and a first born.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Well, Froggy, you walk everywhere? He could walk from here
- 20:46Speaker 2: to gates. Yeah, I could get your steps, get your
- 20:48Speaker 2: steps in for may. I'd get my half a million
- 20:51Speaker 2: steps just then.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Yeah, you would, that'd be great.
- 20:54Speaker 4: How many miles it is from here to Gainsville.
- 20:55Speaker 1: It's look about seventy eighty seventy eighty eighty, so every
- 20:59Speaker 1: every miles to that'd be one hundred.
- 21:03Speaker 4: That's a lot.
- 21:03Speaker 5: Then you get to your goal. Though, it'd be good.
- 21:06Speaker 5: Think about it. You'd be like the guy walking across America.
- 21:08Speaker 4: So that'd be eighty thousand. That'd be a hunt.
- 21:11Speaker 1: No, hold on a second, if two if every miles
- 21:14Speaker 1: two thousand, so two thousand times eighty, right, two thousand
- 21:19Speaker 1: times eighty.
- 21:20Speaker 4: There's nothing more stillating than doing math on the radio.
- 21:22Speaker 1: One hundred and sixty thousand steps and one day and
- 21:26Speaker 1: you never know, my legs would fall off.
- 21:28Speaker 5: What if you just drove like towards that way, parked
- 21:31Speaker 5: at a Walmart and walked.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Oh I just parked somewhere way far out and walk
- 21:34Speaker 1: yeh'd be good. Yeah, yeah, there are.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Some There are some tickets on the floor at eight
- 21:40Speaker 2: hundred and seven hundred, seven hundred.
- 21:43Speaker 4: Okay, second, go by myself.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Yeah you're going alone.
- 21:45Speaker 4: You're alone. I should go by myself.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Or you could take Lisa and sit up in like
- 21:49Speaker 2: the fifty yard line in the in the lower bowl. Okay,
- 21:52Speaker 2: there you those are three three hundred a piece. You have,
- 21:55Speaker 2: you have room, you have movie for money for parking
- 21:58Speaker 2: and food and maybe a.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Coch that you guys can share.
- 22:02Speaker 4: But still, yeah, you share a big one.
- 22:06Speaker 1: So the change one thousand dollars. It is thirteen times
- 22:09Speaker 1: a day. So what times the first tarts? One? Nine
- 22:11Speaker 1: oh five, nine oh five, your very first keyword, and uh,
- 22:15Speaker 1: it's easy with a thousand.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Bucks and listen, do we start with you? Multi Grammy winner,
- 22:21Speaker 2: Multi CMA winner, Chris Stapleton, one of the great singers
- 22:25Speaker 2: of our generation, Chris Stapleton.
- 22:26Speaker 4: How old is he? Loucinda?
- 22:30Speaker 1: Fifty eight?
- 22:31Speaker 4: Daniella? Is he older or younger?
- 22:34Speaker 5: Younger?
- 22:34Speaker 2: He is forty eight? Forty eight for Chris Stapleton, that
- 22:40Speaker 2: great beard has a couple of years. All right, Danielle
- 22:45Speaker 2: gets that point and gets this question first. Today is
- 22:48Speaker 2: four twenty. What percentage of American support legalizing marijuana in
- 22:53Speaker 2: some way?
- 22:54Speaker 4: Daniella? Thirty percent? Lucinda's that number higher or lower? Higher? Yeah,
- 23:08Speaker 4: you know that's number kind of staggers.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Eighty seven, Yes, eighty seven percent of American support legalizing
- 23:14Speaker 2: marijuana in some way? Wow, Okay, Liscinda does get that point.
- 23:17Speaker 2: There you goes time breaker. If you know the answer,
- 23:21Speaker 2: here we go, Here we go. If you know the
- 23:23Speaker 2: answer to this question, shout your name. I will give
- 23:25Speaker 2: a multiple choice. It's baked into the question. Here we go,
- 23:29Speaker 2: which Pixar movie came first, finding Nemo or Toy Story? Yes,
- 23:39Speaker 2: name first, Lucinda.
- 23:41Speaker 7: I'm gonna say toy Story too, not number two, but
- 23:45Speaker 7: I'm gonna say toy.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Story, Toy Story. Yes, Toy Story is the correct answer.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Came out nineteen ninety five, Nemo and three. Well, congratulations,
- 23:53Speaker 2: Lucinda is going to be our winner today.
- 23:55Speaker 5: Yeah, thank you for paying Daniel, Thank.
- 23:58Speaker 2: You, thank you, take thank you so much, and a
- 24:03Speaker 2: pair of tickets for Russell Tickers.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Bit cooler this morning, breezy outside, but gonna warm up
- 24:09Speaker 1: progressively all week long.
- 24:10Speaker 4: We'll be back to the temperatures and then close to
- 24:14Speaker 4: ninety I'm gonna tell.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Me, ever noticed, even when you go into speed limit,
- 24:17Speaker 2: you see a trooper, you take your foot off the guests, Yeah, automatically.
- 24:20Speaker 5: I slammed the brakes and hope no one's behind me,
- 24:23Speaker 5: And I'm like, wow, this is suspicious.
- 24:26Speaker 4: These beacons in our car for State Farm. So we
- 24:29Speaker 4: have to drive.
- 24:30Speaker 1: You have to drive the speed limit. Oh, now, I
- 24:32Speaker 1: don't even care if I see a police officer. Now
- 24:34Speaker 1: I'm like, now I'm that guy. I'm driving the speed limit.
- 24:37Speaker 1: If somebody else is speed him. Like you pull that
- 24:38Speaker 1: guy over, you start waving over he's going to flag. Yeah,
- 24:42Speaker 1: that guy's going too fast.
- 24:43Speaker 3: I don't want to drive around you.
- 24:44Speaker 4: Then Stevie over there, I'm the speed limit guy.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Do you remember last week in your three Things, you
- 24:50Speaker 1: were talking about an airline that was going to start
- 24:53Speaker 1: offering bunk beds to economy flyers.
- 24:56Speaker 3: In New Zealand.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Yeah, New Zealand.
- 24:58Speaker 6: Well, there are rules for these beds, Okay, rules of course.
- 25:03Speaker 6: The rule Number one, you have to pre book a
- 25:06Speaker 6: four hour time slot. You don't get it for the
- 25:08Speaker 6: whole flight. It's not your seat, it's not your place
- 25:11Speaker 6: for the whole time.
- 25:12Speaker 3: What I don't want to share a bed with a stranger.
- 25:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:16Speaker 1: It costs about three hundred bucks extra and you prebook
- 25:18Speaker 1: for a four hour time slot, so it's only available
- 25:21Speaker 1: on long leg flights.
- 25:22Speaker 4: Gotcha take it in that week, get pay Your time's up, bright,
- 25:24Speaker 4: I gotta.
- 25:25Speaker 6: Lead times up. Sally's got to go in your bunk now.
- 25:28Speaker 6: Number two, no food or drinks allowed. No snacking while
- 25:32Speaker 6: you're in the in the bed, none zero.
- 25:34Speaker 3: That's the best place to snack though.
- 25:36Speaker 4: No horse play, No kids are allowed there.
- 25:39Speaker 5: You go No, I kind of like that. I'm not
- 25:42Speaker 5: gonna lie. I want to be able to have quiet.
- 25:44Speaker 5: If I'm paying for a sleeping there would be horse play.
- 25:46Speaker 4: No shoes. This sounds like the swimming pool rules.
- 25:50Speaker 3: They need to wear socks though.
- 25:51Speaker 4: No smells. If you're wearing perfume or those kinds of things,
- 25:54Speaker 4: you can't go in there.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Okay, interesting, No guests, no cuddling.
- 26:01Speaker 4: No spoon.
- 26:02Speaker 6: You're going there to do anything else, now shout not spoon,
- 26:05Speaker 6: going there to sleep or lay down.
- 26:08Speaker 3: And it it's a single pod only, then.
- 26:12Speaker 4: They don't want you in there with your partner doing
- 26:14Speaker 4: the next thing.
- 26:14Speaker 2: You know.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean that would be a little uncomfortable, but
- 26:18Speaker 3: I don't.
- 26:22Speaker 4: That's basically what they're telling you.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Man.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Yeah, so now twice. Now are you not as interested
- 26:28Speaker 4: as you once work?
- 26:29Speaker 5: Well, you know, actually, because you don't have to pay
- 26:31Speaker 5: for first class, I'm still down for it. Because there
- 26:35Speaker 5: are some flights, you know, when you're delayed, you're stuck
- 26:37Speaker 5: at the airport, your flight's canceled whatever, you're so tired,
- 26:41Speaker 5: and then you sit in that little seat on the
- 26:43Speaker 5: plane and you're just it's the worst two three hours
- 26:46Speaker 5: of you which one.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Would you want the first four hours or maybe the
- 26:48Speaker 2: last four because if it gets delayed you can stay
- 26:51Speaker 2: in the bunk until you lay they kick everybody out.
- 26:55Speaker 4: You don't have to go home.
- 26:57Speaker 3: I'm thinking of medical emergency. I'm not getting out of that.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Since there's no headroom for sitting up or getting injury
- 27:03Speaker 1: requires you bending, kneeling, crawling or climbing into the space.
- 27:06Speaker 1: You also have to wear a seat belt, so it's
- 27:08Speaker 1: literally like crawling the same time, I'm going to New Zealand.
- 27:11Speaker 4: Anyways, what a crawling in a sardine?
- 27:14Speaker 1: Can you know?
- 27:15Speaker 5: Whatever, I'm still doing it. I would still do it.
- 27:18Speaker 5: New Zealand sounds like a great place to be.
- 27:19Speaker 4: Now you're not going to be doing it bed you lady.
- 27:24Speaker 4: And nothing else?
- 27:25Speaker 5: And how big are they because my boyfriend six', four
- 27:28Speaker 5: he can't normal.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Bed his old feets.
- 27:30Speaker 6: Are dangling, allers knees up in the coffin.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Exactly can't be doing?
- 27:37Speaker 2: That three?
- 27:39Speaker 1: Things what else is going? On, See i'm just last
- 27:42Speaker 1: night you told us about. It now we know a little.
- 27:44Speaker 1: More and times when you know a little, more you're
- 27:46Speaker 1: like learn as we.
- 27:47Speaker 5: Go, yeah after two months of being, gone the Nas
- 27:52Speaker 5: Jack's Blue ANGELS fa eighteen.
- 27:55Speaker 4: Hornet it's back. Up they were where it should.
- 27:58Speaker 5: Be, yep they were just fixing it up a little,
- 28:00Speaker 5: bit making it all nice and good to go. Again
- 28:03Speaker 5: so it's back, up which is cool if your family's
- 28:06Speaker 5: on government. ASSISTANT snap is changing as of. Today ineligible
- 28:11Speaker 5: items are going to be what they're considering, Unhealthy so no, energy, drink, soda,
- 28:15Speaker 5: candy other, desserts they're going to be off the.
- 28:17Speaker 4: Table so just know before you go, shop check your items.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Online do all In Nassau.
- 28:23Speaker 5: County high school camps are going to be available Through
