A tragic car crash on Southern California’s dangerous Cajon Pass claims the life of 20-year-old college basketball star Jhenéy Wallace, a rising sophomore at Victor Valley College with dreams of playing pro. The rollover accident, in which she was a passenger, also critically injured her mother and a friend. Her mother called her a bright, loving daughter and sister, while her basketball team mourned her as family. A GoFundMe has already raised over $16,000 to honor her.
