  SPEAKER_03: Says you know, um, that means Joshua Palmer steps in into the role, second wide receiver for the Chargers, and then Quentin Johnston, wide receiver rookie here, steps in as a slot.

  SPEAKER_03: So that just tells you that Chargers are just gonna continue to be a spread offense.

  SPEAKER_00: I think he's still gonna get the majority of the carries, or I'm sorry, the majority of the targets with Mike Williams being out.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, there's a lot of buzz around him, but I think Josh Palmer is gonna be the one that kind of takes over for it takes the bulk of the targets that Mike Williams is getting.

  SPEAKER_03: So he had he's already proven to step in and be a stud.

  SPEAKER_03: But uh another big uh fantasy football news this week, Alvin Kamara comes back from in uh from suspension as well.

  SPEAKER_03: So just in time to uh settle that mess in the New Orleans backfield.

  SPEAKER_03: I know last week you were big on Kendra Miller, he obviously didn't produce Tony Jones, you know, Taysom Hill.

  SPEAKER_00: I was actually I was big on Taysom Hill.

  SPEAKER_00: I was just saying it'll be interesting to see what Kendra Miller does.

  SPEAKER_00: I wasn't really high on anyone except Taysom Hill, and they only they only actually had 21 carries between the three of them, and Taysom got four.

  SPEAKER_00: And when you're up 17-0, it's hard for me to explain why you're not running the ball more, but uh they fell apart the second half, and that was that was tough to watch for me.

  SPEAKER_03: They I mean, even when they were um when they had Jamal Williams healthy, they weren't even running the ball week one.

  SPEAKER_03: I have uh one share of you know Alvin Kamara in one league, and I almost feel like I need to get rid of him now because he's uh that play calling scaring me a little bit.

  SPEAKER_00: I was thinking the exact same thing today because I have Camara in two leagues, and we saw how good Jamal Williams can be last year.

  SPEAKER_00: I mean, the guy had like 17 touchdowns or something ridiculous like that.

  SPEAKER_00: That's why I literally drafted him in every single league, and now he's on IR.

  SPEAKER_00: I don't know what was going on, they weren't utilizing him properly, and um every game was bad.

  SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I'm not sure what they're doing over there, but it doesn't seem like it's gonna get any better anytime soon because you know now we got Jameis Winston um as the lead quarterback, and you know, he's got his ups and downs.

  SPEAKER_03: I know they were very hush-hush about that, and they were gonna do an MRI.

  SPEAKER_03: It was a shoulder injury, and they didn't really give you uh they were very uh secretive about the results of it, it seems.

  SPEAKER_00: Last I heard it's gonna be a couple weeks, but you know that could easily turn into three or four.

  SPEAKER_00: I also I also haven't checked in a few hours, so that that may have changed.

  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's an immediate downgrade to most New Orleans receivers, um, except for one.

  SPEAKER_03: I would only, I mean, that means except for uh Chris Olave, I would take an immediate downgrade.

  SPEAKER_03: Obviously, uh Rashid Shahid immediately took a downgrade on targets.

  SPEAKER_03: I mean, traditionally, Jameis Winston has only been sustainable for like one receiver, and it's either gonna be Michael Thomas or Olave, and they both had solid games last week.

  SPEAKER_03: So, but the problem is he has a tendency to hyper focus on receivers and force the ball, and that's why he traditionally has a lot of turnovers.

  SPEAKER_03: So I think that defenses are gonna key in on that on that, and you're gonna see some good games for them and some frustrating games.

  SPEAKER_03: So I think if you have those receivers and it's a long-term injury, you need to sell high on those receivers while you still got an opportunity to uh to do so.

  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and we'll see what happens with Kamara.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, someone actually offered me Josh Jacobs for Kamara, and I turned it down.

  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, but but the bulk of it was Kamara for Josh Jacobs, and I'm just not sure about Josh Jacobs.

  SPEAKER_00: I feel like I know he's you know, last year the volume was why he would.

  SPEAKER_00: I mean, he was obviously playing out of his mind, but the volume he got was obscene.

  SPEAKER_00: And so far in the first three games, he's had like 10 points in each one, he's had like nine or ten points in every game, and that's just you know, if it was just two games, you could say, All right, we'll see what happens in week three, but three is a pattern.

  SPEAKER_00: So I'm not sure about Josh Jacobs.

  SPEAKER_00: I was not high on him last year, and he shocked me.

  SPEAKER_00: I feel like he shocked everybody, but he was never really a standout running back that he's lumped together with in the draft this year, I don't think.

  SPEAKER_00: So I don't know about him the rest of the season, and um, I'm kind of excited to just plug in Kamara and see what he can do.

  SPEAKER_03: Well, well, here's my perspective on Josh Jacobs.

  SPEAKER_03: So he missed all of training camp, he didn't practice all of training camp, so he's not in football shape.

  SPEAKER_03: Now he's trying to get out there and trying to run with these guys that have been running all offseason.

  SPEAKER_03: He's gonna be out of shape.

  SPEAKER_03: And Josh McDaniels, I mean, if you look at his offense traditionally, the New England offense has loved its running backs, and like nobody on that offense can even run the type of uh of role that's Josh Jacobs can.

  SPEAKER_03: Zamir White, everybody behind him, you know, uh doesn't have the capability or the talent to run his role.

  SPEAKER_03: So that's why I think you know, as the season progresses, Josh Jacobs is gonna be an absolute beast, he's gonna get back to the normal uh workload in the production.

  SPEAKER_03: So I think if you have the opportunity to buy on him now, do so.

  SPEAKER_03: There's certain players right now that you kind of got flashes of them.

  SPEAKER_03: Like, for example, um, I loved the fact that I was able to sell high on Adam Thielen in two of my leagues this last game.

  SPEAKER_03: So he had a 32-point game, and people were like, Adam Thielen is back.

  SPEAKER_03: People realize this guy is 32 years old.

  SPEAKER_03: I was able to trade him in one league for James Cook for a guy that needed the running back in the contenders league.

  SPEAKER_03: And then the other league, I was able to trade him for Brian Robinson.

  SPEAKER_03: And I love the fact that Andy Dalton stepped in.

  SPEAKER_03: People don't realize that Andy Dalton loves his his veteran receivers because they know they're where they're supposed to be at the same time, right?

  SPEAKER_03: But they don't realize Bryce Young was out with the concussion.

  SPEAKER_03: He's gonna be right back, and Bryce Young loves his big targets, he's gonna be going back to you know, whoever he's going to when he's not gonna be throwing through uh Adam Thielen like he was looking for, you know, these other guys, Jonathan Mingo and you know, the the other wide receiver, uh Terrence Marshall, right?

  SPEAKER_03: So I was able, he had a 32-point game and I was able to trade for these two guys.

  SPEAKER_00: I know, I know people know you've been high on both of those running backs, and and here's the thing the running back position is extra scarce right now, scarce every year.

  SPEAKER_03: So, if you have the opportunity to go after him, these are players that people are like, Oh my god, I need to I need to turn my fantasy season around, take advantage of the panic and and the mayhem and make trades and get rid of these guys, right?

  SPEAKER_03: That's why people right now are trying to trade Raheem Mostert, right?
