Speaker 1: That innocently met Jeffrey Epstein years ago, many years ago,
• 0:04
Speaker 1: and they're you know, highly respected bankers and lawyers and others.
• 0:08
Speaker 1: What this whole thing is with Epstein is a way
• 0:11
Speaker 1: of trying to deflect from the tremendous success that the
• 0:13
Speaker 1: Republican Party has, Like, for instance, today we're building the
• 0:16
Speaker 1: biggest ships in the world, most powerful ships in the world,
• 0:19
Speaker 1: and they're asking me questions about Jeffrey Epstein's I thought
• 0:22
  Speaker 1: that was finished.
• 0:23
Speaker 2: If you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with
• 0:26
  Speaker 2: Ben ferguson.
• 0:27
Speaker 3: Good Tuesday morning, so nice to have you with us.
• 0:30
Speaker 3: On the forty seven Morning Update, Donald Trump comes out
• 0:33
Speaker 3: with a big announcement a new golden fleet of battleships,
• 0:37
Speaker 3: saying these will be the best in the world and
• 0:40
Speaker 3: they will bring jobs back to America. That's not all
• 0:44
Speaker 3: the President covered. He also covered narco terrorism, Venezuela and
• 0:48
Speaker 3: what country could be our next target. I have the
• 0:51
Speaker 3: full breakdown for you. It's the forty seven Morning Update
• 0:54
Speaker 3: and it starts right now.
• 0:56
  Speaker 2: Story number one.
• 0:57
Speaker 3: President Donald Trump speaking from marl talking about building our
• 1:02
Speaker 3: military new ships that our military desperately needs, and not
• 1:06
Speaker 3: just talking about that, but clearly being the most transparent
• 1:10
Speaker 3: president in modern political history. At a more than fifty
• 1:15
Speaker 3: minute press conference, the President took questions about building the
• 1:19
Speaker 3: new Golden Fleet, about the Golden Fleet, counters with China,
• 1:24
Speaker 3: intercepting drugs on land, and what could happen with possible
• 1:28
Speaker 3: attacks on land, what he was going to do with
• 1:31
Speaker 3: the seized oil of oil tankers coming out of Venezuela
• 1:34
Speaker 3: and the Black Fleet of oil tankers that also deal
• 1:37
Speaker 3: with Iran. He also was asked about Venezuela and US
• 1:41
Speaker 3: oil companies working together, and he was asked about Bill
• 1:45
Speaker 3: Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein a workforce to build the Golden
• 1:49
Speaker 3: Fleet that will help American workers. The endgame with Maduro
• 1:53
Speaker 3: was also covered. He was asked about Colombia and the
• 1:56
Speaker 3: president there and could that be next after Venezuela up
• 2:00
Speaker 3: and a new envoy to Greenland. He was asked about
• 2:03
Speaker 3: the war with Ukraine and Russia. Had he spoken with
• 2:07
Speaker 3: Vladimir putter Zelenski recently and what do they say? And
• 2:11
Speaker 3: then the pursuit of other oil tankers came up, would
• 2:14
Speaker 3: America continue to push forward with that? And is the
• 2:18
Speaker 3: goal of Forstman Duro from power. He also talked about
• 2:22
Speaker 3: healthcare insurers meetings and exactly what had happened there. Now
• 2:26
Speaker 3: the President making it clear there is nothing he is
• 2:29
Speaker 3: unwilling to discuss. There's no question that he is saying no,
• 2:34
Speaker 3: I'm not going to answer that. This is part of
• 2:37
Speaker 3: the President being the most transparent president in modern political history.
• 2:41
Speaker 3: One of the big questions was about the Epstein files,
• 2:45
Speaker 3: and there was an awful lot of pictures that came
• 2:47
Speaker 3: out of a former president by the name of Bill
• 2:50
Speaker 3: Clinton with Jeffrey Epstein. The President's response may be one
• 2:54
Speaker 3: that will surprise you. I want you to hear what
• 2:56
Speaker 3: he had to say.
• 2:58
Speaker 4: Thinking, mister President, prized by the number of photos of
• 3:01
Speaker 4: Bill Clinton and Epstein files, and you can you commit
• 3:04
Speaker 4: to their poll and we used pride in the number
• 3:07
Speaker 4: of photos of Bill Clinton in the Epstein files, and
• 3:10
Speaker 4: can you commit to their full release By the end
• 3:12
Speaker 4: of the year, some of the victims were protesting that
• 3:14
Speaker 4: too many of them were retacted.
• 3:16
Speaker 1: I know there are a lot of people that are
• 3:17
Speaker 1: angry about all of the pictures of other people, you know,
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: but I think it's terrible. Look, I don't like the
• 3:24
Speaker 1: I like Bill Clinton. I've always gotten along with Bill Clinton.
• 3:27
Speaker 1: They've been nice to him, He's been nice to me.
• 3:28
Speaker 1: We've always gotten along respect him. I hate to see
• 3:32
Speaker 1: photos come out of him, but this is what the Democrats,
• 3:35
Speaker 1: mostly Democrats, and a couple of bad Republicans, are asking for.
• 3:38
Speaker 1: So they give me their photos of me too. Everybody
• 3:41
Speaker 1: was friendly with this guy, either friendly or not friendly.
• 3:44
Speaker 1: But then you know he was around. He was all
• 3:45
Speaker 1: over Palm Beach and other places. The head of Harvard
• 3:48
Speaker 1: was his best friends Larry Summers, and Bill Clint was
• 3:51
Speaker 1: a friend of his, but everybody was I actually threw
• 3:54
Speaker 1: him out of mare A Lago. And as if you know,
• 3:57
Speaker 1: as a person that was in Maralago, throw them at
• 4:00
Speaker 1: mar A Lagos. This is mar Alago. It's the hottest place,
• 4:03
Speaker 1: and I think it's the hardest place in the world.
• 4:05
Speaker 1: But it's the hottest place in Florida, and everybody would
• 4:09
Speaker 1: come here. He'd come here. We actually threw them out.
• 4:11
Speaker 1: But no, I don't like the pictures of Bill Clinton
• 4:14
Speaker 1: being shown. I don't like the pictures of other people
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: being shown. I think it's a terrible thing. I think
• 4:20
Speaker 1: Bill Linton's a big boy, he can handle it. But
• 4:23
Speaker 1: you probably have pictures being exposed of other people that
• 4:27
Speaker 1: innocently met Jeffrey Epstein years ago, many years ago, and
• 4:31
Speaker 1: they're you know, highly respected bankers and lawyers and others,
• 4:36
Speaker 1: and they'll end up because of guys like Massw's a
• 4:39
Speaker 1: real low life whose polls are down to about nine percent.
• 4:42
Speaker 1: By the way, the great state of Kentucky, if you
• 4:44
Speaker 1: look at Kentucky, Kentucky is such a great place, but
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: I don't know, they've got a couple of people in
• 4:52
Speaker 1: there that are very strange in terms of leadership. With
• 4:55
Speaker 1: Massey's a loser and he likes it, and that he
• 4:58
Speaker 1: works with the Democrats. He's being used by the Democrats
• 5:02
Speaker 1: because what this whole thing is with Epstein is a
• 5:05
Speaker 1: way of trying to deflect from the tremendous success that
• 5:07
Speaker 1: the Republican Party has, Like, for instance, today we're building
• 5:11
Speaker 1: the biggest ships in the world, most powerful ships in
• 5:13
Speaker 1: the world, and they're asking me questions about Jeffrey Epstein.
• 5:17
Speaker 1: I thought that was finished. I believe they gave over
• 5:20
Speaker 1: one hundred thousand pages of documents and there is tremendous
• 5:24
Speaker 1: back list. It's an interesting question because a lot of
• 5:27
Speaker 1: people are very angry that pictures are being released of
• 5:31
Speaker 1: other people that really had nothing to do with Epstein,
• 5:33
Speaker 1: but they're in a picture with him because he was
• 5:34
Speaker 1: at a party, and you ruin a reputation of somebody.
• 5:39
Speaker 1: So a lot of people are very angry that this continues.
• 5:42
Speaker 1: A lot of Republicans are angry because of the fact
• 5:44
Speaker 1: that it's just used to deflect against the tremendous success.
• 5:48
Speaker 3: Look, we have eight the president talking about those tremendous
• 5:51
Speaker 3: successes and yet again having to deal with the Epstein
• 5:54
Speaker 3: files that have been released. The President wanting to talk
• 5:58
Speaker 3: about other issues as well. One of the things he
• 6:01
Speaker 3: talked about is about American investment. This is one of
• 6:06
Speaker 3: the things he says is really important that he's working on.
• 6:10
Speaker 1: We're doing a great job and we enjoy doing it.
• 6:13
Speaker 1: Our border is secure, our country is strong. Trillions of
• 6:17
Speaker 1: dollars is coming into our country from other countries and companies.
• 6:21
Speaker 1: They're building factories and plants, including auto plants, all over
• 6:25
Speaker 1: the United States of America. Without tariffs, they wouldn't be
• 6:28
Speaker 1: doing anything. Although they were very happy with the November
• 6:31
Speaker 1: fifth election, but it's only because they want to avoid
• 6:34
Speaker 1: paying tariffs that they're all coming in. And again, the
• 6:36
Speaker 1: biggest number was three trillion dollars in history. That was
• 6:40
Speaker 1: China many years ago. Now it's eighteen trillion dollars and
• 6:45
Speaker 1: that's just in ten months. We think we could hit
• 6:47
Speaker 1: twenty trillion dollars. That's investment in the United States, including
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: plant and equipment.
• 6:53
Speaker 3: So you listen to the present talk about the investment.
• 6:57
Speaker 3: He also talked about protecting Americans when it comes to drugs.
• 7:01
Speaker 3: Something else that he says a very important point of
• 7:04
Speaker 3: his administration and it's something that we must stand firm on.
• 7:09
Speaker 3: Part of that is dealing with the cocaine coming out
• 7:12
Speaker 3: of Colombia. The President asked about Colombia and here's what
• 7:16
  Speaker 3: he said, Yeah.
• 7:18
  Speaker 1: Go ahead, please.
• 7:19
Speaker 5: So, in response to the United States taking sanction oil
• 7:23
Speaker 5: from from Venezuela, Colombian President of Gustavo Petro criticize the
• 7:27
Speaker 5: United States by saying, well, the Southwest is stolen land
• 7:29
Speaker 5: and that it should be returned to Latin America. I
• 7:31
Speaker 5: just wanted to know what your response to that.
• 7:33
Speaker 1: Well, he has to watch because you know, he's got
• 7:35
Speaker 1: drug factors. They make cocaine in Colombia, and he's no
• 7:40
Speaker 1: friend of the United States. He's very bad, very bad guy,
• 7:44
Speaker 1: and he's got to watch his ass because he makes
• 7:47
Speaker 1: cocaine and they send it into the United States of
• 7:49
Speaker 1: America from Colombia. We love the Colombian people. I love
• 7:54
Speaker 1: the Colombian people. They're great people, energetic, smart, great But
• 7:58
Speaker 1: their new leader he is a trouble banker and he
• 8:02
Speaker 1: better watch it. You better close up those cocaine factories.
• 8:05
Speaker 1: If at least three major cocaine factories we know where
• 8:09
Speaker 1: they are, he better close them up fast.
• 8:11
Speaker 3: Ye, he better closed them up fast. The President also
• 8:16
Speaker 3: wasn't done there as he talked about this major important
• 8:20
Speaker 3: announcement that deals with the Golden Fleet of battleships, saying
• 8:25
Speaker 3: these are the best in the world and long overdue.
• 8:29
Speaker 1: So I want to wish everybody a big hello and
• 8:31
Speaker 1: merry Christmas, and welcome to mar A Lago for this
• 8:35
Speaker 1: exciting announcement of the new Golden Fleet. We're going at
• 8:39
Speaker 1: the Golden Fleet that we're building for the United States Navy.
• 8:43
Speaker 1: As you know, we're desperately in need of ships. Our
• 8:45
Speaker 1: ships are some of them have gotten old and tired
• 8:49
Speaker 1: and obsolete, and we're going to go to the exact
• 8:52
Speaker 1: opposite direction. We're delighted to be joined by Secretary of war.
• 8:56
Speaker 1: Pete Hegsath is doing a fantastic job. And Secretary of
• 8:59
Speaker 1: the Navy John Falen Marco Rubio is here who gave
• 9:04
Speaker 1: a great few words for the end of last week.
• 9:08
Speaker 1: He spoke for a couple of hours on what a
• 9:12
Speaker 1: good job we're doing, which is true. As Commander in Chief,
• 9:16
Speaker 1: it's my great honor to announce that I have approved
• 9:19
Speaker 1: a plan for the Navy to begin the construction of
• 9:22
Speaker 1: two brand new, very large, the largest we've ever built battleships.
• 9:28
Speaker 1: You know, you used to build the Iowa, the Missouri,
• 9:33
Speaker 1: the Wisconsin, the Alabama, and many others. We had big battleships.
• 9:37
Speaker 1: These are bigger, but they will have one hundred times
• 9:41
Speaker 1: There will be one hundred times the force, the power,
• 9:46
Speaker 1: and there's never been anything like these ships. These have
• 9:51
Speaker 1: been under design consideration for a long time, and it
• 9:56
Speaker 1: started with me in my first term because they said,
• 9:59
Speaker 1: why aren't we doing battleships like we used to? And
• 10:02
Speaker 1: the these are the best in the world, will be
• 10:06
Speaker 1: the fastest, the biggest, and by far one hundred times
• 10:09
Speaker 1: more powerful than any battleship ever built. So if you
• 10:13
Speaker 1: look at the Iowa, the Missouri, Wisconsin, Alabama, and others,
• 10:17
Speaker 1: but there they were similar in size, some a little
• 10:21
Speaker 1: bit bigger than the others, but if you take the
• 10:23
Speaker 1: biggest one, it's one hundred times more powerful. They are
• 10:28
Speaker 1: longer by a little bit, but the and the bigger
• 10:33
Speaker 1: they're bigger ships, but they hold much more. They use
• 10:36
Speaker 1: the word lethality. Battleships are the largest, sturdiest, and most
• 10:41
Speaker 1: heavily armed vessel built specifically for naval combat. While America
• 10:47
Speaker 1: has built many new warships over the years, they've been
• 10:50
Speaker 1: they've tended to be smaller and much smaller, and not
• 10:56
Speaker 1: conducive to where we are and where we going. Piece restraint.
• 11:02
Speaker 3: President Trump yet again saying a I'll talk about anything.
• 11:06
Speaker 3: B I'm gonna keep you safe. See, I'm gonna make
• 11:09
Speaker 3: sure that we bring jobs back to this country. Making
• 11:14
Speaker 3: this fleet be built in America, something we stopped doing,
• 11:18
Speaker 3: and we're far too reliant on foreign countries for our
• 11:22
Speaker 3: ship making. This is all part of his plan to
• 11:25
Speaker 3: put America first and from a national security standpoint, and
• 11:29
Speaker 3: the President saying I'll stand here and answer as many
• 11:32
Speaker 3: questions as I need to. It's important that you have
• 11:35
Speaker 3: a president that's transparent, and that is exactly what Donald
• 11:38
Speaker 3: Trump did yet again on a multitude of issues.
