- 0:02We were talking about Sean Mendez and Camila Caabayo breaking up again again. This
- 0:06is twice now, and I just need to know. I need to know
- 0:09so bad what the reason that they broke up is. Because we're talking about,
- 0:11like, what's the most common reason people break up? Gotta be cheating,
- 0:14Gotta be cheating. There's reasons people should break up, but I feel
- 0:17like they never have enough, like there's not enough for them to, you
- 0:20know, to push them to the breakup point. Well, I think too,
- 0:23Yeah, a lot of people are it's just like that tolerable or it's
- 0:26comfortable, or you just don't know what you would do, depending on the
- 0:29length of your relationship. I saw a study there was like seventeen percent of
- 0:33relationships are actually happy. I'm like, well, that's sad, that is
- 0:37bad geez. I did find this though, the top reasons that relationships do
- 0:41come to an end, and cheating was not on the list, but rather
- 0:45like, for example, the number at nine reason was just being somebody was
- 0:48being too messy. Now, this feels like it's more like early on in
- 0:51relationships, so being too messy or being too talkative. I totally get that
- 0:56one because for me, maybe it's just me. But I'm a real weirdo
- 0:59about like sort of some anxiety like in conversations. So if you're talking too
- 1:04much, especially in like a public setting like that would cringe me so hard.
- 1:08It's funny because you would think being on the radio just major extroverts,
- 1:12you know, and there is that. But we talk all day. So
- 1:15sometimes I come on my hus gonna like you in there. Yeah, I'm
- 1:19good. I'm just like I am shot, not my exhausted. Yeah,
- 1:25you don't have I just talk talk talk for example, A yeah, you
- 1:27don't hear intern gracing maybe at talking a ton on this show because we don't
- 1:30shut up. But when the mics are off, My god, you are
- 1:34a little motor mouth, aren't you. Yeah, And sometimes like hot,
- 1:38oh she's still just talking or whatever it may be. Amanda sent her third
- 1:44email while you're in the same story. Also, not liking a specific food
- 1:49like that could be a real deeper deal breaker, and that's ridiculous. It's
- 1:53not I would have broken up with laurenty years ago if she didn't like Chinese
- 1:57buffets. It just wouldn't work. That's absurd. I swear to God,
- 2:01like it would have never got to the point of, you know, being
- 2:04engaged in what and leaving together never never never never. What you and Nick
- 2:09enjoy the same food? Is there anything that he doesn't like that? Well?
- 2:12Good? See that's exactly why. Yeah, I guess maybe I don't
- 2:15know any different. Being too obsessed with their pet was the one of the
- 2:20top contributors the relationship. And see how there would be like a borderline.
- 2:23You should love your pet, you should do all of that. But I
- 2:24think there comes a point. Yeah, yeah, I mean then you get
- 2:29the couples who are both equally as obsessed and it's insufferable to be around.
- 2:32Like all they talk about, you know, man, no sense of humor
- 2:37or a different sense of humor. Yeah, that's gonna be for me.
- 2:39That would be a deal breaker one hundred percent, because that's what a relationship
- 2:44is all about. You gotta laugh together, have fun together. Even when
- 2:47that goes away, it's like, I'm good, honestly, no fun anymore.
- 2:52If Lauren and maybe she's like over time, like adapted to my sense
- 2:54of humor, but if she didn't find the stupid things I say funny,
- 2:59like she left a long time ago, you know, just a real funny
- 3:01guy. Yeah, I'm not saying I'm funny. I'm a weirdo, but
- 3:05especially at home. You know, everybody has their like at home personality.
- 3:07Yes, like you don't see it. I will tell you though, recently,
- 3:10and I don't know if it's just oh god, I'm starting to think
- 3:14I'm a problem. But husband is possible. My husband did say a couple
- 3:17of times recently, he's like, have you just lost like I'm joking,
- 3:21like, did you lose all sense of humor? Like I take things seriously?
- 3:23Yeah, Maybe it's just the kids, Like you say something that it
- 3:27didn't land right. Sure, And I think he looks at me, going,
- 3:30wow, lady. I don't know. Maybe Nick just needs to be
- 3:32funnier. Maybe that's what it is. He's not giving the jokes the way
- 3:37they need to be, Like, no, I'm open to jokes, it's
- 3:38just they're not landing a kid. Or hygiene another contributor to relationship sending.
- 3:45How far could it get? Like how long would you put up with somebody's
- 3:47bad hygiene before you're like, Okay, this is not The Jews ain't worth
- 3:51the stench. I wouldn't be able to I wouldn't be able to be around
- 3:54you if you're just gross. If a guy looking like Chris Hemsworth was interested
- 3:59in you and he smelled a little bit like, let's just go Matthew McConaughey
- 4:02style, where you're not worrying deodorant and stuff that's just gonna be disgusting.
- 4:05I'm not gonna I mean, they do say that pheromone or whatever it is
- 4:10was like an aphrodisiactors like a hey baby, I can't. I don't know
- 4:15if I could do it. It's true our English or English or high school?
- 4:18What was he a biology teacher? He swore he didn't work deodorant because
- 4:21women love the natural scent of a man. And this guy was fucking with
- 4:27chicks. I'm just kna. I think he lived with his mom. Great
- 4:30guy, but yeah, overuse of social media also contributed. That was number
- 4:34two. Yeah, I mean that would be so annoying. I mean,
- 4:38listen, you used a lot of social media. Does Nick ever go,
- 4:40hey, lady, can I just like eat a meal without a picture of
- 4:43me? Yeah? He also is more understanding these days, but right away
- 4:46it was kind of like you are a psycho. Yeah, now he gets
- 4:50I can imagine. And the top contributor to breakups was clinginess. I feel
- 4:58like, have you ever had an issue with him? I feel like I'm
- 5:00very yeah, I've only known you, like you know, two much?
- 5:04Yeah, I very much? So am Oh what are we gonna do about
- 5:09that? I don't know. Well, I haven't had a boyfriend since high
- 5:12school. So we'll work on it. We got you, Okay, got
- 5:15your girl. Just gotta act like you don't care. Call them names hard
- 5:18to get. Yeah, just a little bit. I tried that. This
- 5:21weekend didn't work out too hot for me. Nothing's working for you in the
- 5:28morning. Seven. All right, are we ready for the very exciting Thursday
- 5:34tradition. It's our hypothetical situation game. Really, we find out what we're
- 5:39all made of in these just brutal situations. It's called remember how to play
- 5:50Amanda? Huh? All right, it's called what do you do? Hypothetical
- 5:57Situation? Number one? Play along in your car. I mean you have
- 6:00the first one. Go ahead. It's Father's Day. Oh, you go
- 6:03hang with dad. You bought some amazing steaks. I mean we're talking the
- 6:08Tomahawk steak. I've never done that one is absolute favorite. You fire up
- 6:14the grill only to find out. Nope, not firing, grill dead.
- 6:19Do you think no, Big Deale Father's Day. Gonna hit up a local
- 6:24Chinese buffet bike they're closed. Oh my god, so bike with just striking
- 6:34out everywhere. I'm telling you a real predicament. What do I do?
- 6:42Well? I hope he likes his steaks rare. That's what we're doing.
- 6:46Wow. Alright, alright, going Flintstone style. Just a big old tomahawk.
- 6:51All right, Amanda, you're in downtown Fargo celebrating the RedHawks, big
- 6:58wind. Okay, all right, your friend suggests you stop at sports bar
- 7:00for shots because quote, this is the best night of our lives. First,
- 7:06you gotta stop into the bathroom, you know that, not the big
- 7:09one, the small one. There's the one. Yeah, yeah, you
- 7:11know the one. Well, you notice the person who was in there before
- 7:14obviously didn't flush. You reach out to flush for him, but you drop
- 7:19your phone. Oh no, and it is just swimming in it. So
- 7:25Amanda, Yeah, imagine poor little galaxy or whatever. What do you do?
- 7:35I know, we're just quivering. Yeah, I don't even I and
- 7:39we're talking. This is like a this is a mess. It's a mess.
- 7:42This isn't just a number one quick grab? No, no, no,
- 7:48Hopefully those shots hit soon, because do you know the pictures? You
- 7:51know the dada? Do you know the things I have on this phone I
- 7:55don't want to lose. Well, that's what cloud storage is for. You're
- 7:57really reaching in there, grab it and rinse everything, and I'm gonna have
- 8:01to go straight home. Gross When I save it in there, you walk
- 8:09out, You take the shot, and you pretend it never happened. You
- 8:11get a new phone and move. I guess not all right? All right?
- 8:18So, Pike, you took the Packers to win against the Vikings.
- 8:20Of course they lost, pretty typical how that works, but they usually the
- 8:28way it goes. You were determined they were gonna win, so you made
- 8:31a ridiculous bat You either sleep in a room that's filled with bats overnight or
- 8:39snakes overnight. So, Pike, this is such a weird bet to make.
- 8:48You picked the Packers Viking slaughter them again? Have I ever said anything?
- 8:54Have I ever said anybody being scared of bats? Meanwhile, every day,
- 8:58at some point I tell you how scared of snakes I am. I've
- 9:01called me Batman because I'm sleeping with those bats. All right, all right,
- 9:09all right, a man, a final one. You're at the grocery
- 9:11store. We'll call it Hornbockers. You see an old classmate in the hot
- 9:16dog aisle. Funny thing about this classmate. You remember they bullied you pretty
- 9:22bad back in school. You notice that they're actively stealing a pack of ballpark
- 9:28franks. You see it right there and got it. Okay, So I'm
- 9:33man, Yeah, what do you do? You know that phone? I
- 9:43dug out of the toilet. What are you calling the cors? I'm grabbing
- 9:48it, taking a video, getting a walk right by. Let them know
- 9:54I'm videotaping it. Gonna go rid up to the manager or hornbackers, because
- 9:58nobody should steal and say look at what this person? God rat rat total
- 10:03narm. Hopefully they get arrested. Wow, and man from Hornby really bullied?
- 10:07Yeah, this morning, this morning, Pike and Amanda in the morning.
- 10:15All right, let's prank somebody. It's their birthday. Very exciting.
- 10:18Everybody loves a birthday surprise, sure, Neil, But first the intro for
- 10:22Pike's Frank Gritten and recorded by my band Low Standards. Are you ready?
- 10:26Yes, you'll suspect a thing when you hear the telephone Fike Brand's fuck he
- 10:35never is listening Fice Brand, then you won't get arrested bikes. Friend,
- 10:43I get chills every time I hear that song. I don't know about you
- 10:45girls. Oh yeah, band girling over here. Anyway, this is gonna
- 10:48be fun because this guy's girlfriend told us that it's his birthday. We got
- 10:52a birthday boy, and not a big surprise guy. So why don't we
- 10:56just give him an extra special birthday treat? Not a surprise guy? Hi?
- 11:05Hello, Hey? Is this John? John speaking John the birthday boy.
- 11:11Yes, it's my birthday. I heard it was your birthday? John?

- 12:16something even crazier? You share a birthday with Ashley Olsen, also from Full

- 13:33services? Oh absolutely not. Wait, well we don't. We don't work
- 13:37for free. I imagine you don't work for free. Yeah, I'm sure,
- 13:41but I didn't tell you guys to call me. And honestly, those
- 13:43impressions, but I loved the one. Obviously, did somebody offense those oppressions?
- 13:48The good brother. I'm not looking for feedback, John, just looking
- 13:52for that payment. So obviously somebody took the time out of their day to
- 13:54want a special birthday for you, and you're not going to pay, is
- 13:58that right? Yeah? Don't you get the money from them? It's my

- 14:20You ready? You? Happy birthday? John? Oh? Hell no,
- 14:30I'm not paying for this one hundred bucks? Is this a joke?
- 14:33Who told you to call me? I'm not paying One more? One more
- 14:37if you don't like it, it's on the house. Okay, one more?
- 14:41Whatever. This is Mickey Mouse wishing you a happy birthday? All right?
- 14:46Whatever? Who? Happy birthday, John Man? Are you on drugs
- 14:56or something? Who is it? No? Are you kidding me? John
- 15:01Mouth? The doctor Dre and I don't even make sense? Who is it?
- 15:05John? It's Pike and Amanda on Big ninety your point seven. Happy
- 15:07birthday, birthday, Happy birthday. But you guys play for a service.
- 15:13How did you even get my number? It's not a radio program, it's
- 15:16not a happy birthday. There should be a happy birthday service, actually a
- 15:20million dollar idea if somebody wants to do it. But no, John,
- 15:22your girlfriend you hit us up, so it was your birthday. You don't
- 15:26like surprises. You want to give you a fun surprise, so we just
- 15:28decided to screw with you a little bit. Yeah. Oh oh, so
- 15:33you mean my ex girlfriend? Oh my gosh, stop We're not trying to
- 15:39break up households. Dude. Where with that Mickey Mouse? Mike? I
- 15:43think I kind of liked Mickey. I thought Mickey was your best version of
- 15:50Pike Amanda in the morning point set. We have four Red River Valley Fair
- 15:54tickets, but in order to win them, you need a step right on
- 15:58up and guess they won't wait of the Pike and Amanda in the Morning Show.
- 16:03Good morning, Hi, Hey, Hey, who's this? This is
- 16:07Satari? Satari? Ah, now, Safari or Satari. You can call
- 16:11me Safari. You wouldn't be the first, but it's Satari. Yeah.
- 16:17I think you maybe like a wild animal Safari. All right, Satari,
- 16:25here's the here's the deal. You have a chance to win four tickets to
- 16:27go out to the Red River Valley Fair the whole family, whoever you want
- 16:30to bring. But first you have to guess the weight of the Pike and
- 16:34Amanda in the Morning Show. Step right up. Oh my god, there's
- 16:38two of us. There's me, Pike and there's Amanda. Hey girl,
- 16:41hey, you need to get within fifty metric pounds in order to win the
- 16:47four tickets. Okay, so there's two of us. Have you seen either
- 16:49of us in person before I've seen Amanda. I mean, you just got
- 16:55back. I don't know. It's taking care of yourself, not really,
- 16:57not at the moment. No, how much calling have you done this summer
- 17:00at trust me, it's doing more harm than good when it comes to my
- 17:06way, I promise. Okay, So Satari, step on up and guess
- 17:11the way. What is your guess? Okay, let me do some math
- 17:14in my head for a second. Okay, how taller you kind of are
- 17:18you? Are you taller than you look? I'm We've all agreed and the
- 17:22consensus is I'm shorter than I sound. I'll tell you that. Okay,
- 17:29are you guys somewhere in the ballpark of like who seventy five? Two seventy
- 17:34five? Let me do some quick math here. She was a little too
- 17:41generous to us. I'm gonna say you're you're outside of the fifty pounds by
- 17:47a good twenty five pounds. Wow, Hey, you guys look great.
- 17:51Yeah, nope, the other way sight. We gotta move on. Thank
- 17:57you? All right, step right up. Contest number two to guess the
- 18:00total weight a Pike and Amanda in the morning. Who is this Christie?
- 18:04You have a fifty pound cushion one way or the other. But you need
- 18:07to guess the total weight of Pike and Amanda in the morning. That right
- 18:12up. Oh my gosh, um three fifty who three hundred and fifty pounds?
- 18:22You winngratulations, you got a family four pack of tickets to the Red
- 18:29River Valley Fair. And I gotta say you were only three pounds five because
- 18:36Pike and a man in the morning is weighing in at crisp three hundred and
- 18:41forty seven LB's old man. We want to break down who is taking up
- 18:48one part of that? Just divided by two guys, Pike and Amanda in
- 18:52the morning, big nutty eight point seven trending. Now here's what you need
- 19:00to know. Well, the Canada fires are definitely cramp in our summer style
- 19:07down in this city is yesterday they were closing a lot of different things because
- 19:11of the quality of the air being so bad. We're being told it was
- 19:15that that very unhealthy category. Just hit refresh. It looks like right here
- 19:18in the FM area it's just moderate. But you had mentioned like your nephew
- 19:22Sea Ball was canceled yesterday. No, it's serious. When t ball is
- 19:23getting canceled for the four year olds, and I saw, like you know,
- 19:26stopball was canceled. My golf league still was on because it's that serious.
- 19:30Happy to report picked up a dub. Yeah, despite the smoke,
- 19:37which is you know, in all seriousness. The American Lung Association recommended residence
- 19:40this was again in the Minneapolis area yesterday, to stay indoors, closed windows,
- 19:44turned the air conditioner on using the recirculation setting. They are expecting that
- 19:48this kind of dissipate today. But what would you say? It was only
- 19:52a moderate? She ain't moderate here. I can only imagine what the very
- 19:56unhealthy category is going to feel like. Yeah, like, if let's say,
- 20:00let's say I pass gas in the studio right now, what would you
- 20:03say the air quality would be? That'd be probably moderate, right, No
- 20:07worse, I'm gonna go very unhealthy. And when we are rooting for her.
- 20:15Holly Hassle, an English professor at NDSU, was the big winner on
- 20:18Jeopardy Lessons. It was her first night on there. She won about ten
- 20:22thousand, five hundred dollars. Another episode tonight exciting. They were even recorded
- 20:26this back in April, so somebody's got to know a little in town.
- 20:30Yeah, well I saw her like family and friends at a big watch party
- 20:33happening somewhere in town. I don't know, but yeah they know so great.
- 20:37Yeah, I just love being able to follow along with it. Is
- 20:38he any big mansions being built on the obscrits at town? Nine more women
- 20:45are accusing Bill Cosby I'm sexual assault in a lawsuit that alleges that he has
- 20:48enormous power, fame, and prestige to vic victimize them. This has been
- 20:52going on for a while. These nine ladies are saying it went down in
- 20:56I guess Vegas Reno like Taho homes Rising The Room hotel from nineteen seventy nine
- 21:00to nineteen ninety two. Still just shocks me that he is not locked up.
- 21:03Every time I see more people coming forward, I'm like, how is
- 21:07he not in prison? Still hard to believe? Oh you gross, you're
- 21:11ready? Ready? Let's he is typing hot today? Oh no, Amamanda
- 21:17stills the see see So yesterday we were kind of joking about the fact that
- 21:22Disney was moving some of these days around, and when the Avatar sequels come
- 21:26out, people are like, are we even gonna be alive? Of course
- 21:30kidding, but Zoe Is Aldanna, who is in in the franchise. Yesterday
- 21:36jumped onto Twitter and she said, great, I'm gonna be fifty three when
- 21:38the last Avatar movie comes out. She was twenty seven when they first started
- 21:41this. I don't get it for a movie that I maybe it's just me.
- 21:45I don't ever hear anybody talk about it. I don't ever hear anybody
- 21:48say I love that movie. There's my favorite movie. It's just why,
- 21:52why is there so much about it? I don't know. There was so
- 21:56much hype about it, probably because it was the first of its kind.
- 22:00Blue people well that, but just the animation behind it, it was pretty
- 22:03cool. Crazy. I never saw it. Oh you gotta see it.
- 22:07Did you watch it? I fell asleep in theaters when the first one came
- 22:11out. Yeah. I saw the previews and I was crushed. I was
- 22:18super excited. Sean Mendees, Camila Cabeo, they met back up at Coachella
- 22:22after they broke up, and I thought, for sure, this is it.
- 22:26You know, you know when they say when somebody goes away and they
- 22:29come back, it's meant to be. It is not the saying no,
- 22:30it's if you love something, let it go if it comes. There might
- 22:34be two different says he could be. I think it's two in the bush,
- 22:37is one in the hand or something? Birds in the bird in the
- 22:42butt. I think we're just making anyway. What are they? Are they
- 22:45together or not? No, she's single, she's ready to mingle. And
- 22:49Sean is still growing and discovering himself. He needs time to do what makes
- 22:55him happy. He has a lot more living and learning in his future.
- 22:57I don't know. He's twenty four. That's pretty much it. But I
- 23:00also feel like that goes without saying he's just not ready to be in a
- 23:03relationship, is what that? He does feel a little immature, a little
- 23:06emotionally, just like well maybe just too emotional. Well you mentioned last hour.
- 23:10He's just sad like dad. I just can't a scene. When he
- 23:14was seventeen, he's just been writing sad breakup songs ever since. He really
- 23:18has about Camilla. I know, you get one. I mean there's a
- 23:21limit on how many breakup songs you can write about the same person. I
- 23:23think it's having to move on. You gonna move on. And Alec Baldwin
