- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello you guys, welcome back to another episode of the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hawkerel Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is
- 0:19Speaker 1: your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a new week,
- 0:21Speaker 1: a new mindset, and another day for you to become
- 0:23Speaker 1: the Hawkrel Energy you want to attract. Hello you guys,
- 0:27Speaker 1: welcome back to another episode. If you guys were listening
- 0:31Speaker 1: to our last episode, we are doing a two part series,
- 0:34Speaker 1: so if you haven't listened to the first part, definitely
- 0:36Speaker 1: make sure to listen to that episode first, which is
- 0:38Speaker 1: episode one thirty four about filling your own cups.
- 0:42Speaker 2: So I have my sister here. Hello, she is back.
- 0:46Speaker 1: We are here doing a fun little episode and we're
- 0:48Speaker 1: going to continue off what we were talking about in
- 0:50Speaker 1: the last episode. So for those who don't really know
- 0:53Speaker 1: what filling your own cup means, essentially it's doing things
- 0:56Speaker 1: for yourself and no one else. So these are things
- 0:59Speaker 1: that truly make you. You feel happy, it makes you
- 1:01Speaker 1: feel good, It just kind of brings out the best
- 1:03Speaker 1: side of you. So what we've been doing is we've
- 1:06Speaker 1: kind of been running through things that fill our cup,
- 1:09Speaker 1: that bring us joy and things that we just do
- 1:12Speaker 1: for ourselves that we think makes sense, and we think
- 1:15Speaker 1: it's hon's like a little mandatory thing that you should
- 1:17Speaker 1: do in order to feel good and happy.
- 1:20Speaker 3: And this could be like on a daily basis, or
- 1:23Speaker 3: on a weekly basis, or even just like every now
- 1:25Speaker 3: and then. Like these are just the little things that
- 1:28Speaker 3: we like to kind of implement into our lives. These
- 1:32Speaker 3: are just things that make us feel our best selves.
- 1:35Speaker 1: So to build off our points from the last episode,
- 1:38Speaker 1: one other thing that we feel like fills our own
- 1:40Speaker 1: cup is monthly self care appointments.
- 1:44Speaker 2: This one, I feel like is really tailored to us.
- 1:47Speaker 1: As women and just like, yeah, womanhood in general is
- 1:50Speaker 1: just how important it is to book those self care
- 1:53Speaker 1: appointments for yourself on a monthly basis, whether it's going
- 1:57Speaker 1: to get your nails done, going to get your eyebrows done,
- 2:00Speaker 1: or your eyelash is done, or a pedicure, yeah, monthly facials,
- 2:04Speaker 1: Like there's something about you know, it doesn't have to
- 2:07Speaker 1: be all those things, by the way, it could just
- 2:08Speaker 1: be one, Like one thing that I can think of
- 2:09Speaker 1: that I do on a monthly basis is two out
- 2:12Speaker 1: of these things, it's getting my nails done and getting
- 2:15Speaker 1: my eyebrows done on a monthly basis. I think it's
- 2:17Speaker 1: a bit of a confidence booster for myself. I feel
- 2:20Speaker 1: more put together when I actually invest in those things.
- 2:23Speaker 1: I feel like I need to have my nails done,
- 2:25Speaker 1: Like that's something that you will never ever see me without.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Like if I have a broken nail, I am going
- 2:31Speaker 1: to that salon and I'm getting it fixed.
- 2:32Speaker 2: I'm like, you.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Already had a way. Yeah, I.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Literally already have that appointment book.
- 2:37Speaker 1: No, Like I will be going every four weeks, I
- 2:40Speaker 1: will be getting my nails touched up, I will be
- 2:41Speaker 1: getting my toes done, and then I usually get my
- 2:43Speaker 1: brows done once a month. So those are just things
- 2:46Speaker 1: for me that I'm like, those are my things, Like
- 2:49Speaker 1: I just got to do it. I know girls that
- 2:51Speaker 1: you know get the eyelash extensions once a month, where
- 2:53Speaker 1: it's like that's their thing, Like they need to get
- 2:56Speaker 1: it done because that's what makes them feel good about themselves.
- 2:59Speaker 2: And I think that's very much okay.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Like if that brings comfort in you know, doing those things,
- 3:04Speaker 1: and you feel good about doing those things because it
- 3:07Speaker 1: makes you feel your happiest self with your best self,
- 3:09Speaker 1: I think you should one hundred percent investing yourself by
- 3:12Speaker 1: doing those things one hundred percent.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I definitely agree with Kaylie on that where I
- 3:17Speaker 3: I've actually just started kind of getting my nails done
- 3:20Speaker 3: on a monthly basis. I used to never really get
- 3:23Speaker 3: my nails done on a monthly basis. I'd say I
- 3:26Speaker 3: just get them every now and then like special occasions,
- 3:29Speaker 3: exactly for special occasions, and typically more in the summertime
- 3:34Speaker 3: because there's just like we're doing more things and there's
- 3:37Speaker 3: more plans that are being made. But now I've just
- 3:41Speaker 3: felt like having my nails done just makes me feel
- 3:44Speaker 3: so good about myself. I feel more confident, more put together.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I'm just thinking, sorry, I have to interrupt you for say,
- 3:51Speaker 2: I'm just.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Thinking of like me posting Instagram stories or something like that,
- 3:54Speaker 1: and you're like, oh, make sure my hands.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Are in it. Yeah, it's so true. There is so
- 3:59Speaker 3: many where I've like took Kalie okay, like she'll be like, oh,
- 4:02Speaker 3: like let's take a cute pick holding our coffees, and
- 4:05Speaker 3: I'm like, fucked, my nails are. See.
- 4:07Speaker 1: This is why you need your nails done though, because
- 4:09Speaker 1: I never have to worry about that.
- 4:10Speaker 2: I never have to worry about that.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Because like it's just a confidence booster.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Like I feel like even when.
- 4:16Speaker 3: I like take pictures for Instagram or something like that,
- 4:19Speaker 3: like my nails aren't done, I'm like, oh my god,
- 4:21Speaker 3: everyone's looking at me. Yeah they can see it.
- 4:24Speaker 1: They can zoom in that photo and that photo of
- 4:27Speaker 1: me and see my nails aren't done exactly. Like.
- 4:29Speaker 3: It definitely is something that fills my own cup. Same
- 4:33Speaker 3: with getting my eyebrows done. Like, if I feel like
- 4:36Speaker 3: they're not looking good, I'm definitely booking that appointment, and yeah,
- 4:40Speaker 3: it just like makes me feel more put together.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I also just think doing these monthly self care appointments
- 4:45Speaker 1: just makes you feel a little bit more like cleaner.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Like I just feel like a clean girl, you know.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm booking these appointments. I'm feeling good, I'm
- 4:52Speaker 1: feeling put together. I feel like that you know, clean
- 4:56Speaker 1: girl that everyone talks about on social media. I'm like,
- 4:58Speaker 1: I feel like her. That is like my defa mission
- 5:00Speaker 1: of a clean girl is like someone who like keeps
- 5:03Speaker 1: up with them themselves, right, so too more.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Of like something you do I guess at home and
- 5:10Speaker 3: maybe more on a weekly basis, is like face masks, Yes,
- 5:14Speaker 3: under I love under ie. MI like that when you
- 5:17Speaker 3: said clean, Like that's instantly what I thought of was
- 5:20Speaker 3: that like clean girl aesthetic. I think, like a girl
- 5:23Speaker 3: with her like under eye mask. Yeah, like a face
- 5:26Speaker 3: mask on, like a sheet mask. Yeah. Like I just
- 5:29Speaker 3: love doing that, whether it's like on a weekly basis
- 5:32Speaker 3: or like every now and then making sure.
- 5:34Speaker 1: To well, I think it's just like it's putting in
- 5:36Speaker 1: the effort again, like you're you're taking the time, and
- 5:38Speaker 1: like you can put eyemass on while getting work done.
- 5:40Speaker 1: You can put a face mask on while getting work done,
- 5:42Speaker 1: like you know what I mean, Like it's in the
- 5:44Speaker 1: convenience of your own home. There there's so many affordable
- 5:46Speaker 1: options of getting that stuff too, like at Sephora or
- 5:49Speaker 1: the drug store.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Also, I don't know about you, but like not even
- 5:53Speaker 3: just like the finished product of like having my nails
- 5:56Speaker 3: done or my eyebrows done, but just like going to
- 5:59Speaker 3: get my nails done, going down rest and like I
- 6:02Speaker 3: look forward to it, especially like going to the nail salon,
- 6:05Speaker 3: even though you're literally just sitting there.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Like like you're stuck there for an hour and a half, there's.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Just like this comfort in doing it, like looking at
- 6:12Speaker 3: nail colors and like it kind of just like, I
- 6:15Speaker 3: feel like the reason it brings me comfort is because,
- 6:20Speaker 3: especially if you have like a really busy schedule or
- 6:23Speaker 3: like you're really really busy, it may be like the
- 6:25Speaker 3: only time you have like an hour in the day
- 6:28Speaker 3: where you can just kind of like do nothing.
- 6:31Speaker 1: But it does kind of force yourself to like get
- 6:33Speaker 1: off your phone and like take that hour of just
- 6:35Speaker 1: like yeah, enjoying the appointment and just like not having
- 6:38Speaker 1: to think about anything.
- 6:39Speaker 3: So the next thing that fills my own cup would
- 6:43Speaker 3: be spoiling myself. I feel like you can spoil yourself
- 6:46Speaker 3: in so many different ways, for example, going to the mall,
- 6:50Speaker 3: going shopping.
- 6:51Speaker 2: I love spending money on myself, I.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Will say, though I prefer ordering clothes on Yes, yeah,
- 6:59Speaker 3: that's kind of how I like spoiling myself versus like
- 7:02Speaker 3: going to the mall. I mean, don't get me wrong,
- 7:04Speaker 3: it's definitely fun to kind of like go to the mall,
- 7:06Speaker 3: and especially if I need something for like the last minute,
- 7:09Speaker 3: a last minute like the day of or like that weekend,
- 7:12Speaker 3: I'll definitely go to the mall. But honestly, there's something
- 7:16Speaker 3: so therapeutic just like sitting in bed watching my favorite
- 7:20Speaker 3: TV show and looking at clothes like yeah, online shopping,
- 7:24Speaker 3: and I may like never purchase these clothes, but.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Yeah, sometimes you just add it to a cart.
- 7:29Speaker 3: It could of like, yeah, it could be like so
- 7:32Speaker 3: out of my budget and that I would never spend
- 7:35Speaker 3: that kind of money, but I will add it to
- 7:36Speaker 3: my car.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Yeah, you might get one out of those seven things
- 7:40Speaker 1: that you added to your shopping card, but hey, it's.
- 7:42Speaker 2: The whole, just like online.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Shopping pole process. Once again, like I feel like a
- 7:47Speaker 3: lot of these things, it's not just like the end
- 7:50Speaker 3: product you get out of it, but just like the whole.
- 7:53Speaker 1: But it's also the excitement of like getting the package
- 7:56Speaker 1: at the front door bosh, and you're either gonna be
- 7:59Speaker 1: so freaking.
- 7:59Speaker 2: How or you're gonna be so upset, Like there's no
- 8:03Speaker 2: in between. There's just like I.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Will say, there have been so many times where I'm like,
- 8:07Speaker 3: for example, on a Ritzy and I have like fifty
- 8:10Speaker 3: items in my bag. I am not buying fifty idems,
- 8:13Speaker 3: like it's probably like at five grand, and I'm just like,
- 8:17Speaker 3: you know, like if I had five thousand dollars, I
- 8:20Speaker 3: would buy buy Yeah.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's so funny because even like you, sometimes
- 8:25Speaker 1: I'll like see you in your phone.
- 8:26Speaker 2: You're like, oh, I'm just like checking to see whin
- 8:28Speaker 2: by you Ritzy at backgage.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Like the excitement of just like, oh, it's coming intomorrow.
- 8:33Speaker 3: That notification on your phone is like really the best feeling,
- 8:37Speaker 3: like seeing when it's.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Like on the way.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Yeah, like oh my god, I'm so excited, like and
- 8:43Speaker 3: just getting the package and like being able to like
- 8:46Speaker 3: try it on.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:47Speaker 3: I definitely think that just like treating yourself.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Yeah, agreed.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I think it's important to do those like once in
- 8:55Speaker 1: a while, like shopping sprays online and like ordering those
- 8:58Speaker 1: things that you've been wanting, especially like when you go
- 9:00Speaker 1: into new seasons, Like right now, I'm very excited about
- 9:03Speaker 1: ordering Fall staff.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Like actually looking tonight.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I'm so excited since I'm going on this trip or
- 9:09Speaker 1: at this point I'm going to be on the trip
- 9:11Speaker 1: as I'm talking about this episode.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Right now, I'll be.
- 9:15Speaker 1: On my European trip. I've been having such a hard
- 9:17Speaker 1: time like not splurging on Fall stuff because I'm like,
- 9:20Speaker 1: I need to buy for the trip.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I need to be buying for Fall.
- 9:23Speaker 1: But as soon as I get home from my trip,
- 9:26Speaker 1: I will definitely be doing a Fall Hall of all
- 9:28Speaker 1: the fall stuff that I get for the season. But
- 9:32Speaker 1: I think it just I don't know, I think like
- 9:34Speaker 1: entering a new season, spoiling yourself during that makes it
- 9:38Speaker 1: so much more fun.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Speaking of new season, not just like ordering clothes or
- 9:42Speaker 3: like buying clothes, but also going like to core shopping,
- 9:46Speaker 3: Like why is buying fall decres.
- 9:48Speaker 2: The best thing ever? So there literally the best thing.
- 9:51Speaker 3: I'm literally going to home since pumpkins with a pumpkin
- 9:54Speaker 3: spice latte or like a pumpkin cream cold brew, and
- 9:58Speaker 3: even just browsing, like I will literally I will glad
- 10:01Speaker 3: own a house and like I want to buy everything.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I would gladly go to Starbucks and get a coffee
- 10:06Speaker 1: with you and just browse at home since and just
- 10:08Speaker 1: kind of like imagine like this would look.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Like if I had my own house, I would buy this.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I mean I have my own house, so
- 10:15Speaker 2: I can't.
- 10:16Speaker 1: But I also have a lot of decord that like
- 10:18Speaker 1: I'm like, I do not need to buy anything, but
- 10:21Speaker 1: I mark my words, I will.
- 10:22Speaker 3: I will literally just like put stuff in my room
- 10:25Speaker 3: and like it could literally be like a doormat, but
- 10:27Speaker 3: I'm like I need it.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I love it. I need it. I'm gonna get it.
- 10:31Speaker 3: It could be like kitchen utensils.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Like you probably have a pumpkin scented candle and I
- 10:35Speaker 1: bet you a million dollars you're gonna buy a new
- 10:37Speaker 1: one a yeah, because it's not the same.
- 10:40Speaker 3: It's have this obsession with mugs. My parents hate it.
- 10:43Speaker 3: We have a fall mug, but like I need another one. Yeah,
- 10:47Speaker 3: obviously I need another one. So definitely, just like you know,
- 10:50Speaker 3: running those errands or like going shopping to like spoil yourself,
- 10:55Speaker 3: I feel like definitely fills my cup also too, on
- 10:58Speaker 3: top of decor and clothes. Also just like taking yourself
- 11:02Speaker 3: out to dinner once a week, where as we talked about,
- 11:05Speaker 3: or just even takeouts, so yeah, as we talked about
- 11:07Speaker 3: in the last episode going out for dinner with friends
- 11:10Speaker 3: or yeah, exactly like ordering takeout and just like not
- 11:14Speaker 3: being too hard on yourself when you want to kind
- 11:17Speaker 3: of treat yourself to a little takeout dinner. I feel
- 11:21Speaker 3: like definitely fills both of ours.
- 11:24Speaker 1: I'd say I try and make it a weekly thing
- 11:27Speaker 1: with Zach to do take out because you know, we
- 11:30Speaker 1: cook at home meals all the time, which obviously brings
- 11:32Speaker 1: us a lot of comfort but I do think once
- 11:34Speaker 1: in a while it is nice to treat ourselves to
- 11:37Speaker 1: like one of our favorite dishes from a favorite restaurant
- 11:39Speaker 1: and just ordering it, having it at home or going
- 11:42Speaker 1: out to the restaurant. Obviously, like date nights are super
- 11:44Speaker 1: important in a relationship, so like going out once in
- 11:47Speaker 1: a while, getting dressed up, you know, going to eat
- 11:50Speaker 1: our favorite foods at the restaurant. I don't know, I
- 11:52Speaker 1: think it's really important to like have those fun times
- 11:55Speaker 1: and looking forward to look forward to it, have an
- 11:58Speaker 1: experience with your friends or your partner, like mas Madison said,
- 12:01Speaker 1: like making it a girl's night, you know, going out
- 12:03Speaker 1: for dinner together, Like it's just something to look forward to.
- 12:06Speaker 1: And yeah, I think like having those moments is important
- 12:09Speaker 1: to like spoil yourself. The way I see it, it's
- 12:12Speaker 1: another way to invest in yourself because you're investing in
- 12:16Speaker 1: good quality time with friends and your partners. So we
- 12:19Speaker 1: think it's allowed and you should treat yourself once a
- 12:22Speaker 1: week to a fun little date night.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Okay.
- 12:24Speaker 1: The next one is home cooked meals and the presentation
- 12:27Speaker 1: of it. So one thing that I always love to
- 12:29Speaker 1: do with Zach is I love to recreate dishes from
- 12:33Speaker 1: Pinterest that I love or just meals that you know,
- 12:36Speaker 1: we've tried a new recipe on the weekend and we
- 12:38Speaker 1: love it, and then we want to try and you know,
- 12:40Speaker 1: recreate it again throughout the week and kind of add
- 12:43Speaker 1: it into like our dinner rotations.
- 12:44Speaker 2: For the week.
- 12:45Speaker 1: So the whole idea of just like cooking at home.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I also just like love like cooking with Zach. I
- 12:52Speaker 1: think it's very therapeutic, and I very much enjoy doing
- 12:55Speaker 1: it with him.
- 12:56Speaker 2: It's not just like me doing it.
- 12:57Speaker 1: He comes home from work and like I serve the
- 13:00Speaker 1: with them, Like we make it a fun thing to
- 13:02Speaker 1: do together, and we both just like very much enjoy
- 13:05Speaker 1: doing it together. You know, we catch up on our day,
- 13:08Speaker 1: we talk about like spending time to exactly. It's kind
- 13:10Speaker 1: of like a way of spending time together and like,
- 13:12Speaker 1: I don't know, then we kind of like both put
- 13:15Speaker 1: the energy of like making it together and all that,
- 13:17Speaker 1: and I don't know, there's just like some comfort of
- 13:18Speaker 1: like doing that with your person. And I just also,
- 13:21Speaker 1: as I said, like love recreating recipes that I see
- 13:24Speaker 1: on pinteress, Like that's like one of my favorite things.
- 13:26Speaker 1: We also do date nights like that Like sometimes my
- 13:28Speaker 1: sister will come over and I'm like, okay, like what
- 13:30Speaker 1: do we want to make today? Like was there something
- 13:32Speaker 1: on pinchressuff I saw like a past to night or yeah.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Thing, and I love looking forward to those nights. Yeah,
- 13:37Speaker 3: it's just so fun.
- 13:38Speaker 1: And like, well, the other night she came over and
- 13:40Speaker 1: we made this like kale caesar salad with a chacuterie board.
- 13:45Speaker 1: But again like doing that together, recreating the dish that
- 13:48Speaker 1: we saw on Pinterest, like making a whole like little
- 13:50Speaker 1: aesthetic night out of it, you know, lighting candles and
- 13:54Speaker 1: all that, and also just the thrill that you feel
- 13:57Speaker 1: when you try new recipes again going into new season.
- 14:00Speaker 1: All I could think about is like soup season, using
- 14:04Speaker 1: our croc pot for like.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Just like comfort meals.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I don't know, like it's gonna be so exciting to
- 14:09Speaker 1: like get back into that and again trying recipes that
- 14:12Speaker 1: I haven't, you know, had in a while, or trying
- 14:15Speaker 1: new recipes that I've never had before.
- 14:17Speaker 3: And like implementing certain foods that may be seasonal, like
- 14:21Speaker 3: for example, pumpkin.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Or like I feel like cinnamon buns.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Are all cinnamon apples, like apple pie.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Oh my god, I forgot that Thanksgiving is coming up
- 14:31Speaker 1: to all I could think about is literally turkey pumpkin pie,
- 14:36Speaker 1: apple pie, rhubarb pie, blueberry pie, every pie.
- 14:41Speaker 2: You're all done was all pies.
- 14:43Speaker 3: So another thing that fills our cup, i'd say is
- 14:48Speaker 3: either watching a comfort show or like rewatching old comfort shows.
- 14:53Speaker 3: I feel like every girl has that one show that
- 14:56Speaker 3: they are either currently loving in the moment or have
- 15:00Speaker 3: absolutely loved watching. And I've probably watched like five different times.
- 15:05Speaker 1: I feel like you need to say yours two of
- 15:07Speaker 1: your favorites, and then I'm gonna save my two of my.
- 15:09Speaker 3: I feel like ours are the same, but I'll say
- 15:12Speaker 3: my two favorites, which I've probably seen both of them.
- 15:16Speaker 3: I mean one of them. I've only seen the whole
- 15:18Speaker 3: whole thing once. Yeah, but I've probably rewatched like the
- 15:23Speaker 3: first few seasons i'd say like five or six times,
- 15:26Speaker 3: and then the other one. I've watched the whole thing
- 15:28Speaker 3: probably three or four times.
- 15:29Speaker 2: I think it is the same show.
- 15:31Speaker 3: I'd say Vampire Diaries and Pretty Little Liars.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Oh no, I have.
- 15:35Speaker 3: A third one, which might be your second Friend. Yes,
- 15:38Speaker 3: I just thought of that.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Friends is honestly my number one comfort show, Like soon
- 15:44Speaker 1: as you said for Little Liars.
- 15:45Speaker 3: I'm like, nope, it's not that. It's not three, because
- 15:48Speaker 3: I'd say Vampire Diaries, pretty Little Liars and Friends or
- 15:51Speaker 3: like my three go to Yeah, my three go two
- 15:55Speaker 3: is Friends is number one.
- 15:56Speaker 1: I've rewatched it at least five or six times, and
- 15:59Speaker 1: I bet you a million dollars I will rewatch it
- 16:01Speaker 1: probably in the fall, Vampire Diaries and the Vampire Diaries
- 16:05Speaker 1: one hundred percent.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Will rewatch that. Love that show, Gray's Anatomy. Oh yeah.
- 16:11Speaker 3: I were always more into funny because I actually put
- 16:16Speaker 3: Kaylee onto Grace.
- 16:17Speaker 2: I thought I was so super she became she.
- 16:19Speaker 3: At first she thought it was so stupid. She'd be like, Maddie,
- 16:22Speaker 3: why are you watching the show about doctors? Like and
- 16:25Speaker 3: then she got more hooked than me.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I did, and.
- 16:28Speaker 3: She watched way more seasons than I did. I was
- 16:30Speaker 3: definitely hooked at one point. But once again, I've never
- 16:33Speaker 3: watched the whole entire thing. I think I got up
- 16:36Speaker 3: to like season fourteen, and then I kind of just
- 16:40Speaker 3: like rewatch it like every now and then, Like I
- 16:43Speaker 3: probably rewatched it maybe two or three times.
- 16:46Speaker 1: But the issue is at the keeper new seasons and
- 16:48Speaker 1: they're not as good, so for me, I can't get back.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Like I watched it from like a certain period of time,
- 16:53Speaker 1: and then when all the actors started to come out,
- 16:56Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, this is not Gray's Anatomy anymore.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Like this is a different show.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Yeah, like yeah, I mean not gonna give any spoilers,
- 17:02Speaker 3: but like certain people leave that you love, like it's
- 17:05Speaker 3: kind of just like it doesn't get good.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, like this is not anymore.
- 17:08Speaker 1: So I have rewatched it a few times, but I
- 17:10Speaker 1: always stop at like a specific season.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Like with a lot of shows, the earlier seasons are always,
- 17:15Speaker 3: oh they're always the best, way better always. I will say, though,
- 17:18Speaker 3: you need to rewatch One Tree Hill, like that was
- 17:21Speaker 3: one and Kaye loved it.
- 17:24Speaker 2: I loved it.
- 17:25Speaker 3: That's gonna be my That's a good show to watch
- 17:27Speaker 3: in the fall too, I.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Feel oh that's when I started. It was like literally
- 17:30Speaker 1: in the fall of last year, Zach and I started it.
- 17:32Speaker 1: We watched it all the seasons. Zach loved it, and yeah,
- 17:36Speaker 1: I highly recommend rewatching that because that was really really good.
- 17:39Speaker 3: I know a lot of people also love Gossip Girl.
- 17:42Speaker 3: I hate to say this, but like I could never
- 17:44Speaker 3: I didn't get into it. I watched maybe one or
- 17:47Speaker 3: two seasons of it, and I don't know, like maybe
- 17:51Speaker 3: because I was just like a die hard vampire diary
- 17:54Speaker 3: or pretty little liar girl growing up.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Also two Gilmore girls in the Fall. I feel like
- 17:59Speaker 3: that's go to for a lot of people. Yeah, I've
- 18:03Speaker 3: really watched the first season as well.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I've seen the first two seasons.
- 18:07Speaker 3: For me, a lot of different shows that I really
- 18:09Speaker 3: want to get into. One of my good friends actually
- 18:11Speaker 3: also told me to start watching Tell Me Live.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, it's so good. Oh my goodness, No,
- 18:16Speaker 1: you got to watch that. That's on Disney. So you
- 18:19Speaker 1: might need choose my account for the.
- 18:21Speaker 3: I already have your akout.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Oh she's already got out perfect.
- 18:25Speaker 1: I have a profile set up and yeah, well right now,
- 18:27Speaker 1: obviously I'm watching the Summer I Turn Pretty and it's
- 18:30Speaker 1: so good. Obviously, Okay, people probably want to know, are
- 18:33Speaker 1: we team Jeremiah or Conrad, And obviously.
- 18:36Speaker 3: I feel like this is a no brainer.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Conrad obviously like Jeremiah. Hell freaking no, no, no, he's
- 18:42Speaker 1: walking red flag, walking red flag. We don't want to
- 18:45Speaker 1: give spoilers, but it's a no, it's absolutely no, Conrad.
- 18:49Speaker 3: I love Conrad.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Oh anyways, I haven't even gotten to I think it's
- 18:53Speaker 1: the fifth or six episode.
- 18:54Speaker 3: That's really funny because I feel like after season two
- 18:57Speaker 3: it was very split between like peace, love it, Jeremiah
- 19:01Speaker 3: and Conrad. But like team Conrad, I don't. I honestly
- 19:04Speaker 3: have not came across anyone. He actually kes me Jeremi.
- 19:07Speaker 3: He kes me out right now, like looking at him,
- 19:09Speaker 3: I'm like disgusting. My whole for you page is just
- 19:12Speaker 3: like Team Conrad. Yeah, nothing nothing to do.
- 19:15Speaker 1: And Conrad got a little bit better looking I think
- 19:18Speaker 1: this season too.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Yeah. I guess as they get older too, like they
- 19:21Speaker 3: get a little.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Bit more like manly and more mature because they're young
- 19:24Speaker 1: when they started in the show. And I feel like
- 19:26Speaker 1: Belly right now looks absolutely gorgeous, like so stunning.
- 19:30Speaker 3: It's so funny you say that because I've been watching
- 19:32Speaker 3: the show with our mom and she literally made that
- 19:36Speaker 3: comment about Steven. She's like, I never thought Stephen was cute,
- 19:40Speaker 3: but oh my god, in season three.
- 19:42Speaker 2: He's really cute.
- 19:45Speaker 3: He was like, wait, you're right, like Stephen is.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Yeah, but they're all glowing up in their own way.
- 19:50Speaker 1: So that's been making it fun to kind of see
- 19:52Speaker 1: them like grow up in that sense. But I don't know,
- 19:55Speaker 1: I feel like I agree. Like last season it was
- 19:58Speaker 1: very much like I was kind of on team Jeremiah,
- 20:00Speaker 1: so I'm like, she's putting so much, you know, energy
- 20:03Speaker 1: towards belly and like you can just see how much
- 20:06Speaker 1: he loves her. But now, yeah, Conrad, Conrad is the man.
- 20:12Speaker 3: It makes me sad. I think this is the last season,
- 20:14Speaker 3: isn't it. Yeah, it makes me so sad because such
- 20:17Speaker 3: a good show. That show could literally have like seven
- 20:20Speaker 3: seasons and just like.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I keep watching it.
- 20:23Speaker 1: It's so funny because like, let's all be honest, like
- 20:25Speaker 1: it is a little cheesy, like in the sense of
- 20:27Speaker 1: like it's like a cute, little romantic about young kids
- 20:30Speaker 1: all that, but there's something that's so addicting about the show,
- 20:33Speaker 1: Like I just I need to know I feel what
- 20:35Speaker 1: happens next for.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Me also too, like that show is just like everything
- 20:41Speaker 3: about it like the Summer House. Yes, it's like like
- 20:44Speaker 3: a dream, like just screams like the dream summer life.
- 20:48Speaker 3: To me, everything about that show, maybe not the like
- 20:51Speaker 3: falling in Love with two brothers.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's a red flayers.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Yeah, that's giving toxic yes of everything else like just
- 20:59Speaker 3: like the aesthetic. Yeah, like the overall cute little summer town.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Like I feel like everybody just loves that.
- 21:07Speaker 1: The vibes are just very much the perfect of what
- 21:11Speaker 1: people would want still for their summer exactly like having
- 21:14Speaker 1: that just like perfect little East Coast summer vibes.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Perfect summer house that you go to every summer.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Like the whole storyline just kind of like makes it
- 21:23Speaker 1: so fun and like I would say, that's definitely one
- 21:25Speaker 1: of our comfort shows right now, is just like resorting
- 21:28Speaker 1: to that every Wednesday.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Speaking about this and then I don't know if you're
- 21:32Speaker 3: on this side of TikTok, but like I'm on the
- 21:34Speaker 3: side of TikTok where people are like comparing Belly with
- 21:38Speaker 3: like Conrad and Jeremiah to Elena with no Demon and
- 21:43Speaker 3: everyone's saying, well, at least the side of TikTok that
- 21:45Speaker 3: I'm on, people are saying, like why was it acceptable
- 21:48Speaker 3: when Elena was doing it? But for some reason it's
- 21:51Speaker 3: like not and like weird when Belly does. It's true
- 21:54Speaker 3: and it's so true. And I was like this one
- 21:56Speaker 3: TikTok that I came across. Like everyone in the comments
- 21:59Speaker 3: were like saying, how like well, like Elena wasn't like
- 22:03Speaker 3: bouncing back and forth, like yeah she would, I know.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Anyways, I was just like reading Stefan would go through
- 22:09Speaker 1: a bad stage, so then she would go to Damon
- 22:10Speaker 1: and then you know, Damon would be good, but then
- 22:13Speaker 1: Stephan becomes better and then Elena falls for Stepan.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Like it's literally the exact same thing.
- 22:17Speaker 3: It's just so weird. Maybe because we were younger when
- 22:19Speaker 3: Vampire Daries came out, but like it seemed weird because
- 22:21Speaker 3: it's like when Elena did it, it was like not bad.
- 22:24Speaker 2: But maybe because it's about vampires.
- 22:26Speaker 3: It's so different. Soone said, maybe because it's like the
- 22:29Speaker 3: like vampires being like supernatural, like it doesn't feel as real,
- 22:33Speaker 3: Like yeah.
- 22:34Speaker 1: It's not as bad actually because they're vampires, like because
- 22:37Speaker 1: these people are actually human beings, totally different situations, Like.
- 22:42Speaker 2: It doesn't make any sense.
- 22:43Speaker 1: But anyways, that's really funny because I didn't even think
- 22:46Speaker 1: about that until you like clicked in like that their
- 22:48Speaker 1: brothers and that Elena was going for both of them. Anyways,
- 22:51Speaker 1: that's definitely been our way of just like yeah, feeling
- 22:55Speaker 1: very comforting watching that show, and I'm sure a lot
- 22:58Speaker 1: of you guys probably agree that the summary turn pretty
- 23:01Speaker 1: is just like, yeah, something that brings.
- 23:03Speaker 2: You joy and comfort and fills your own cup.
- 23:06Speaker 1: The last two things that we kind of have here
- 23:08Speaker 1: when it comes to filling your own cup is just
- 23:09Speaker 1: kind of doing those little summary things that you look
- 23:12Speaker 1: forward to, whether it's buying yourself flowers, going to the
- 23:15Speaker 1: farmer's market, like again like taking time out of your
- 23:18Speaker 1: weekend to do those little things that just bring you
- 23:21Speaker 1: so much joy, even like going grocery shopping, like doing
- 23:24Speaker 1: those little things that just make you feel super good.
- 23:27Speaker 1: I feel like those are really important things to do,
- 23:31Speaker 1: even in the fall season again, like going to the
- 23:34Speaker 1: farmer's market to get pumpkins, Like thinking about that gets
- 23:38Speaker 1: me so excited, or even like going to the farmer's
- 23:41Speaker 1: market to pick out like just like honey meatple syrups
- 23:44Speaker 1: like they usually have like fall stuff out as well.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Also just like doing the fall activities, whether it's like
- 23:51Speaker 3: apple picking, carving pumpkins, going to pick out pumpkins. I've
- 23:55Speaker 3: suggested this to Kaylee this morning, and we'll see if
- 23:58Speaker 3: she actually comes with me.
- 23:59Speaker 1: I ac should they know that I want to do
- 24:01Speaker 1: this because I've had on my bucket least to do this,
- 24:04Speaker 1: which is horseback riding.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I am so excited, and I am forcing Kayley
- 24:09Speaker 3: to come with me.
- 24:10Speaker 1: The thing is, she's forcing me to do it when
- 24:12Speaker 1: I want to do it, but she's like, let's do
- 24:14Speaker 1: it without the helmets. I'm like, bro, can we just
- 24:17Speaker 1: make safety a priority here? Like, I'm not getting on
- 24:20Speaker 1: a horse that I've never been on in my life
- 24:23Speaker 1: without a freaking helmet.
- 24:24Speaker 2: I'm gonna probably brave the ruin.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I pray a freaking hockey outfit, like you might see
- 24:29Speaker 1: me wearing shoulder pads, elbow pads, knee pads.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Like I'm not getting injured because of this horse, you
- 24:33Speaker 2: know what? Fair?
- 24:34Speaker 1: I feel like I should be taking it a little bit,
- 24:36Speaker 1: a little bit more serious, one hundred percent. Like sure,
- 24:38Speaker 1: I'm all for the pinterest aesthetic pics of this horse,
- 24:41Speaker 1: but like at the same time me thinking it's gonna
- 24:44Speaker 1: be an easy breeze.
- 24:45Speaker 2: No, it's not, absolutely not.
- 24:47Speaker 3: And I think the last time I rode a horse,
- 24:51Speaker 3: I was probably five years old and it was a pony.
- 24:53Speaker 1: And it was probably someone holding the strap the entire
- 24:56Speaker 1: time going around Like yeah, exactly in a freaking like
- 25:01Speaker 1: thanks are like in the wild with one horse by
- 25:05Speaker 1: yourself with the helmet, like girl, we gotta it's safe.
- 25:09Speaker 2: We need to talk about safety years.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Yeah. Anyways, if you see an Instagram post or an
- 25:14Speaker 3: Instagram story.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Of us with horses, just we're wearing helmets because I
- 25:18Speaker 1: will force that helmet on her head.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Or if there's no helmet, we took it off for
- 25:22Speaker 3: maybe five minutes.
- 25:24Speaker 1: For the pick, just for the pick. So anyways, that's
- 25:28Speaker 1: our goal this fall to do that, and then we
- 25:30Speaker 1: talked about it in the last episode. But going on
- 25:32Speaker 1: a fall trip as well and just doing all the
- 25:34Speaker 1: fun fall things. But those are some things that we
- 25:39Speaker 1: do to fill up our own cup. And I would
- 25:42Speaker 1: say everything here is kind of like things that we
- 25:44Speaker 1: both agree on that we do in our day to
- 25:47Speaker 1: day life or weekly thing of just likely yeah, or
- 25:50Speaker 1: monthly of just like things that brings us so much comfort.
- 25:53Speaker 1: But thank you guys so much for listening to another episode.
- 25:56Speaker 1: If you guys are new, definitely make sure to follow
- 25:58Speaker 1: the Instagram page at the hawkrel Energy Instagram along with
- 26:02Speaker 1: me Kaylie, I am the host for TikTok YouTube and Instagram.
- 26:07Speaker 1: I'm also on there as well. But I love you
- 26:09Speaker 1: guys allso much. Thank you guys for listening to another episode,
- 26:12Speaker 1: and we will see you guys in next week's episode.
