- 0:04I look like I got a haircut because when I'm at the races I
- 0:12just don't like hair. But yet I want hair when I want
- 0:16it. So I had my daughter give me a
- 0:19haircut. She's so good.
- 0:22By the way, if you are a lady and you are around the Saint
- 0:28Louis area, check it out. Brandy Louder Wallace or Brandy
- 0:36Wallace Louder, whatever you want to say.
- 0:38Her maiden name is Wallace Brandy Louder.
- 0:43Brandy is world famous, she really is.
- 0:48She had a hair salon called B Lee Studios up in Birkdale up
- 0:53there, you know, in Charlotte, NC Birkdale's where all the
- 0:57wealthy people live, all the trophy girls, all the NASCAR
- 1:03girls, they come in, they come to Brandy.
- 1:06Brandy specializes and she is the best at what they call in
- 1:11the salon business. Cut, cut in color.
- 1:14Brandy can mix colors for you ladies better than anybody in
- 1:18America. It's all in her head.
- 1:20She's really good at it. So she does my hairs and I just
- 1:28realized I look like because I, you know, I got around last
- 1:34night, got around 11:30 at the racetrack and the dew settled in
- 1:38and all of a sudden I started losing my voice.
- 1:41Last couple days I've had this nasty like I feel good, but but
- 1:48I drank water all night long. I went through 5 bottles of
- 1:52water. So I'm drinking lots of water.
- 1:55I had bananas, apples. I instead of instead of eating
- 2:01an old the old hamburger last night at the racetrack, I take
- 2:04my lunch like a factory worker and my buddy that surprised me.
- 2:08He looked at me and I could tell these things looking at me.
- 2:12He goes, Herman, how much you weigh?
- 2:14I said, oh, about one 67168 because they eat good, but I
- 2:20drink plenty water. So just kind of, I don't know
- 2:25what's going on around here kind of in the air.
- 2:29OK, this is a late coffee with Kenny.
- 2:35Swear to God, my hand on the Bible was not going to do a
- 2:38coffee with Kenny today. But I thought, well, I'll put a
- 2:43little something out there. And I, you know, I put that post
- 2:47out there yesterday. The problem with NASCAR today is
- 2:52that people want to talk about the old days more than they do
- 2:56right now. Now, must give credit where
- 3:00credit's due. Mark Martin brought this up.
- 3:03Mark. Mark said.
- 3:04Herman explained to me why the YouTube races get way more views
- 3:09of the races today. Mark was right.
- 3:14So today I get on and I just start scrolling.
- 3:21I'm like, holy am I singing things?
- 3:24That post yesterday, just a typed post.
- 3:28I said. The real problem with NASCAR is
- 3:31people want to talk about the old days more than they do the
- 3:36drivers today. 225,000 likes or a quarter of a million.
- 3:49Holy Batman, did that statement hit a nerve.
- 3:56So let's talk about it. Let's take a drink.
- 3:59Coffee. Why does the good old days
- 4:09visit? I don't even know if I'm saying
- 4:14it right. You all know that we can't go
- 4:17back to the good old days, right?
- 4:19You know that. And, and here's why we cannot go
- 4:23back to the good old days. It's kind of like The Beatles.
- 4:29It's kind of like the great, you know, Aerosmith and good
- 4:34rock'n'roll music or even disco. They killed rock'n'roll, They
- 4:41killed disco. And I pay attention to music.
- 4:44But Youngblood from over in London.
- 4:48Youngblood is over here and you know, Rock'n'roll will never
- 4:52die. I love Rock'n'roll and
- 4:54Rock'n'roll is making a small comeback because of Young Blood,
- 4:58you know, and Ozzy Osbourne, he before Ozzy died, he said, OK,
- 5:03Young Blood is taking my place, so to speak, because Sharon,
- 5:08Ozzy's wife, she deemed she deemed Young Blood and so did
- 5:12Kelly, the kid and Jack, you know, the all the whole Osbourne
- 5:17group, they said Young Blood is, is the one.
- 5:20So then they he come over and he's torn America right now.
- 5:24He's a real edgy kid. He's got his hair slicked back,
- 5:28doesn't wear a shirt, got some leather pants on the girls
- 5:32loving and he's rocking. But the point is, is that he's
- 5:40he's hitting Rock'n'roll when they ask.
- 5:41He's like waking them up. Well, Aerosmith made a song with
- 5:45him and they're going. That's what we need for NASCAR
- 5:51right now. We need somebody to hit these
- 5:52son of a bitches in the ass and wake them up because Rusty's
- 5:58Rusty's going to be 70, Schrader 70.
- 6:02And then a lot of our drivers are dead.
- 6:04The drivers that made-up the good old days, they're gone.
- 6:07And then you question yourself, what is wrong with these drivers
- 6:12today? Well, they're all telling me
- 6:16that, oh, there's drivers out there.
- 6:18They're really fun. Will show us everybody so damn
- 6:23perfect. I'm the only son of a bitch left
- 6:25that is fun. I am the only son of a bitch
- 6:29left that will get jacked up on Sun Drop.
- 6:32I love Schrader. I love Schrader with my life.
- 6:36But he's afraid. He don't want to ruffle any
- 6:38feathers. He's always been like that.
- 6:43Dale Junior. He does a good job, but if you
- 6:46go to Kenny conversation, I said to Dale Junior, I said junior,
- 6:51now this is important. Listen to this.
- 6:53If you go to Kenny conversation right now, 300 and 300 and
- 6:59something 1000 views. It's a big interview.
- 7:02I did Kenny conversation with Dale junior.
- 7:04I said junior. I said you are so powerful,
- 7:08you're so big, you can rule the sport.
- 7:12I said, what's that make you feel like?
- 7:14He looks at me and he goes, I don't, I don't feel like that,
- 7:17He says. I feel like I'm in trouble with
- 7:19NASCAR all the time and I'm trying to make up from the most
- 7:26powerful racer in the world, Dale Earnhardt, junior people
- 7:32are lined up, you know, to get him to talk about their product.
- 7:36Georgia and South Carolina, by God, if Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon
- 7:43and Jack can pop young blood in the ass and go, hey, let's make
- 7:49Rock'n'roll great again and they start doing a deal with
- 7:53Aerosmith, That's what NASCAR needs.
- 7:56We need some of the old guys to come out of the woodworks and we
- 7:59need them to go. And NASCAR's great, man.
- 8:02Let's Rock and respond right here.
- 8:06What do you think of my idea? What do you think of my idea?
- 8:11What are we going to do if you all think the old days well, I
- 8:16mean, the old days were great. They were great.
- 8:19There's no doubt we were just a special group.
- 8:22You had me running my mouth. You had Rusty getting fined
- 8:27$2500 for saying. Then you had Dale Junior getting
- 8:33fine points and 25 grand for saying I ain't to my daddy when
- 8:40he won Talladega. We were cussing like a mother
- 8:45and the fans were laughing. Yeah, John Boy and Billy down in
- 8:49Charlotte every morning we tune on the radio 'cause we knew John
- 8:53Boy and Billy. We're going to talk about
- 8:54NASCAR. The drivers are afraid, and it
- 9:00ain't Jeff Gordon. I love Jeff, but Jeff, you're
- 9:05just too perfect. You want all your drivers like
- 9:08robots 'cause you don't want to cause any problems.
- 9:12I don't want my drivers causing any problems.
- 9:14Well, it's ruining the sport. Consumer cellular customer
- 9:18service respond right here. We need a driver from the good
- 9:23old days. Check this yes.
