- 0:00Speaker 1: Now the Mark Simone Show on seven to ten. Woor
- 0:05Speaker 1: filling in for Mark. Here's Ken Rosatta.
- 0:08Speaker 2: And a very good morning to you. The end of
- 0:10Speaker 2: the week is here. Yes, please excuse the frog in
- 0:12Speaker 2: my throat. I was on a plane the other day
- 0:14Speaker 2: and of course everybody around me was hacking up along
- 0:17Speaker 2: and I said, I'm going to get something. I know
- 0:20Speaker 2: it so with me, it settles in my vocal cords.
- 0:23Speaker 2: It always has And don't worry about it doesn't hurt,
- 0:26Speaker 2: feels fine. It just sounds kind of weird, so I
- 0:28Speaker 2: don't think. Who is this. It's Brenda Avicaro coming to
- 0:31Speaker 2: you live anyway, It's good to be here. Six days
- 0:34Speaker 2: till Christmas. You could feel the spirit in the air.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Three more days of Hankku. Mark is off today. Hope
- 0:40Speaker 2: you enjoy your time off. Brother. Ken Rosatto in and
- 0:42Speaker 2: we have a lot to talk about. First off, did
- 0:45Speaker 2: you guys hear about what is going on in Los Angeles?
- 0:49Speaker 2: It is unbelievable now with the fires that they had
- 0:52Speaker 2: there earlier in the year. Apparently firefighters wanted to go
- 0:57Speaker 2: in to investigate this one setection of the mountain where
- 1:01Speaker 2: there was smoke, but because of environmentalist wackos who control
- 1:07Speaker 2: that part of California. The California State Parks had restricted
- 1:12Speaker 2: firefighting operations in an area that is designated an avoidance area.
- 1:18Speaker 2: See because in the mind of a liberal environmentalist, In
- 1:22Speaker 2: an environmentalist brain, you don't matter. Humans come ninety seventh
- 1:27Speaker 2: on the list of importance. It's about the uga uga
- 1:30Speaker 2: fish and the maluluca tree and nature and earth, and
- 1:35Speaker 2: you are scum. You shouldn't even be here. How dare
- 1:39Speaker 2: you be part of the world? You human? So this
- 1:42Speaker 2: is the liberal environmentalist mind at work. And so as
- 1:46Speaker 2: a result the fire, where the firefighters wanted to go
- 1:49Speaker 2: in and investigate the smoke, it was allowed to fester,
- 1:53Speaker 2: and that is likely what led to a much larger
- 1:56Speaker 2: fire that resulted in deaths and billions of dollars of
- 2:00Speaker 2: property damage, destroying a good chunk of that beautiful part
- 2:04Speaker 2: of southern California. Once again, liberals destroying a beautiful thing
- 2:09Speaker 2: because they are just nuts. For them, environmentalism is not
- 2:14Speaker 2: a cause. It is a religion. Many of the arch
- 2:16Speaker 2: liberals don't have religion in their minds, in their hearts,
- 2:20Speaker 2: so they have substituted things like environmentalism for their faith.
- 2:25Speaker 2: As a result if you try to tell them that
- 2:27Speaker 2: they're crazy that climate changes and naturally cause thing. It's
- 2:31Speaker 2: like if you're Christian, them telling you, you know, Jesus
- 2:33Speaker 2: is just a myth. I mean it hits you to
- 2:35Speaker 2: the heart, to the heart, right to the core, or
- 2:38Speaker 2: saying to somebody who's Jewish, yeah, the whole thing was
- 2:41Speaker 2: made up six thousand years ago. I mean it's offensive,
- 2:45Speaker 2: it's somebody sensitive to the core. It is something you feel.
- 2:48Speaker 2: And for an environmentalist, this is what environmentalism is to them.
- 2:54Speaker 2: It is a religion. So they don't care. They don't
- 2:56Speaker 2: care if thousands of humans are put at risk, if
- 3:00Speaker 2: thousands of homes are destroyed, because this is an avoidance area.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Don't you understand we have to protect our wildlife here.
- 3:08Speaker 2: And the result was bigions and damage. But this is
- 3:11Speaker 2: what happens when you let liberals take charge. Seven to
- 3:14Speaker 2: ten WR, The Voice of New York hen Rostto went
- 3:17Speaker 2: from Mark on your Friday, what confusion in the Brown
- 3:21Speaker 2: University case? Sorry, let's go over try to summarize it,
- 3:25Speaker 2: because I kind of went over my notes today and
- 3:27Speaker 2: I thought, what the heck does this all mean? So
- 3:31Speaker 2: this is what I got The suspect in the Brown
- 3:34Speaker 2: University mass shooting now appears to have killed himself. Pardon me.
- 3:37Speaker 2: His name is Claudio Valente. He's a forty eight year
- 3:40Speaker 2: old former Brown student. He was there one year in
- 3:44Speaker 2: the early two thousands. He is a Portuguese national, but
- 3:48Speaker 2: he came here legally. He was found dead from self
- 3:51Speaker 2: inflicted wounds gunshot to that and others. He shot himself
- 3:55Speaker 2: at a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire, and next
- 3:58Speaker 2: to him was a satchel, two firearms and evidence matching
- 4:01Speaker 2: the crime scene. Now, investigators say they have no idea
- 4:04Speaker 2: why the suspect targeted the university, But officials say Valente
- 4:08Speaker 2: killed two students and injured nine others, and also traveled
- 4:12Speaker 2: fifty miles away to Brookline, Massachusetts and killed a an
- 4:18Speaker 2: mit professor whom he knew. And he may have even
- 4:22Speaker 2: studied with this guy in Portugal and may have been
- 4:25Speaker 2: a roommate of this guy either in Portugal or at
- 4:28Speaker 2: Brown University. So they're still trying to put together the details.
- 4:32Speaker 2: But nonetheless something to point out that Nevis was admitted
- 4:36Speaker 2: into the US legally but under the very liberal diversity
- 4:41Speaker 2: dv ie visa program that appears to be totally out
- 4:44Speaker 2: of control. Basically, if you apply with this program, you're in.
- 4:47Speaker 2: It's also called the Green Card Lottery. It was meant
- 4:50Speaker 2: to quote diversify the US because we're clearly not a
- 4:54Speaker 2: divers nation right now. In case you haven't checked, fifty
- 4:57Speaker 2: five thousand people take part in this lottery every year.
- 5:00Speaker 2: But the Homeland Security Secretary says she is now recommending
- 5:03Speaker 2: to the President that the program be paused. And you
- 5:06Speaker 2: can understand why. It's because these people aren't getting vetted.
- 5:10Speaker 2: It's like, well, if we can't go in this door,
- 5:12Speaker 2: let's go in that door, and these stupid Americans will
- 5:14Speaker 2: light us in. And that seems to be what happened.
- 5:17Speaker 2: And he got in under the wire, nobody vetting to
- 5:19Speaker 2: see if there was anything psychologically wrong with him. We
- 5:22Speaker 2: know nothing about this guy, nothing except you wanted to
- 5:25Speaker 2: study here, Okay, come on in and study. And this
- 5:27Speaker 2: is what happens. So now two Americans are dead. Seven
- 5:32Speaker 2: ten wr the Voice of New York. Hey show me
- 5:35Speaker 2: your friends, I will show you your future Zoron. Mundani's
- 5:39Speaker 2: not even in office yet and one of his appointees
- 5:41Speaker 2: has already had to resign in disgrace due to what
- 5:45Speaker 2: many are calling a history of social media jew hating.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Now the New York Post is reporting that in twenty eleven,
- 5:52Speaker 2: when she was eighteen, the paper reports that Catherine Almonte
- 5:56Speaker 2: da Costa posted several offensive anti Jewish posts that I
- 6:00Speaker 2: will not dignify by repeating here. And here's the irony.
- 6:04Speaker 2: This woman, Catherine, would end up marrying a Jewish man,
- 6:08Speaker 2: a man born to a Jewish mother, so he is
- 6:09Speaker 2: Jewish by definition and Judaism maternally Jewish, and they have
- 6:14Speaker 2: children together, and I believe I read that the children
- 6:17Speaker 2: are being raised Jews. So yes, the posts were made
- 6:20Speaker 2: fourteen years ago. But did her feelings really change? I mean,
- 6:24Speaker 2: maybe she's in love with the guy but still holds
- 6:26Speaker 2: hy stereotypes in her heart. And were there any posts
- 6:30Speaker 2: after that period that we haven't seen yet? You never know,
- 6:33Speaker 2: you know what happens. They post some posts now and
- 6:36Speaker 2: then eventually other posts come out. Well, either way, it
- 6:38Speaker 2: doesn't look good when it comes to Mamdani's judgment and
- 6:41Speaker 2: the millions of Jewish New Yorkers, both those who voted
- 6:44Speaker 2: for Mamdani, which I will never understand, and those who
- 6:48Speaker 2: did not will be looking at every move Mamdani makes
- 6:52Speaker 2: with suspicion, and rightfully so seven to ten. W. R.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Ken Rosatto in for Mark, excuse the laryngitis eight hundred
- 6:59Speaker 2: and three two one zero seven ten, eight hundred and
- 7:02Speaker 2: three to two to one zero seven ten. You know,
- 7:05Speaker 2: for all the people who hate Christmas and people who
- 7:06Speaker 2: observe it, they sure don't seem to complain about the
- 7:11Speaker 2: day being a federal holiday and getting the day off
- 7:14Speaker 2: from work. Of course, they're like, ah, these Christians, whatever
- 7:17Speaker 2: they want to do Christmas, as long as I get
- 7:18Speaker 2: the day off. Well, if you have not heard, President
- 7:21Speaker 2: Trump has now signed an executive order creating two additional
- 7:26Speaker 2: federal holidays. Now those holidays will flank Christmas on either day,
- 7:30Speaker 2: ostensibly to give families more time together for the holidays.
- 7:34Speaker 2: So effective immediately, Christmas Eve is a federal holiday, Christmas
- 7:39Speaker 2: Day is a federal holiday, and the day after the
- 7:41Speaker 2: twenty sixth all designated federal holidays. Now, in fairness, Congress
- 7:47Speaker 2: had designated the twenty fifth a federal holiday like almost
- 7:51Speaker 2: two centuries ago. It was only by executive fiat that
- 7:55Speaker 2: Christmas Eve and the day after have been designated that way.
- 7:57Speaker 2: But I'm sure in the next year or song will
- 8:00Speaker 2: be asked to codify it into law so that future
- 8:03Speaker 2: presidents can't negate it. But why not? You know what, Look,
- 8:07Speaker 2: even if you're not Christian, you don't believe in Christianity,
- 8:10Speaker 2: you don't believe in christ, you don't believe in Christmas.
- 8:13Speaker 2: We all need a period like that, three days that
- 8:17Speaker 2: are set aside where we could just just decompress and
- 8:21Speaker 2: spend time with loved ones, because you need to do
- 8:24Speaker 2: a reset. How often do we have And I recently
- 8:28Speaker 2: had a death in the family, My father in law
- 8:30Speaker 2: passed away rather unexpectedly. And it's times like that that
- 8:34Speaker 2: you realize the last time we had a picture together
- 8:38Speaker 2: was you know, fourth is July. So you take for
- 8:41Speaker 2: granted the times you spend together, they're too few and
- 8:45Speaker 2: far between. So take advantage of having three days off
- 8:49Speaker 2: to force yourself to reset and spend time with people
- 8:52Speaker 2: whom you love or even if you argue with and
- 8:55Speaker 2: you tolerate, you know what, there's always something good you
- 8:57Speaker 2: could find in that person, and you never know you
- 9:00Speaker 2: might learn something from them. I have, I've been, I've
- 9:03Speaker 2: approached many situations in the past as and know it
- 9:05Speaker 2: all thinking, Ah, this person doesn't know what they're talking about.
- 9:08Speaker 2: And it turns out I have learned a lot from
- 9:10Speaker 2: those people, and not bad stuff, good stuff. So give
- 9:13Speaker 2: yourselves time, spend time with your loved ones, even you're
- 9:17Speaker 2: not so loved ones, and try to learn and enjoy
- 9:20Speaker 2: the extra days off. Courtesy Orange Man Bad if you're
- 9:24Speaker 2: a liberal. A strange new information regarding Nick Reiner, the
- 9:28Speaker 2: son of Rob and Michelle Singer. Reiner reportedly approached a
- 9:31Speaker 2: number of A list celebs at the Conan O'Brien Christmas
- 9:35Speaker 2: party hours before he allegedly murdered his parents and allegedly
- 9:38Speaker 2: asked them all three questions. So Nick allegedly went up
- 9:41Speaker 2: to the celebs at the Christmas party and asked, what's
- 9:44Speaker 2: your name, what's your last name? And are you famous?
- 9:50Speaker 2: Kind of weird, right, We don't know why he did that,
- 9:52Speaker 2: but he did this. This according to several sources at
- 9:55Speaker 2: the party, and authorities say the younger Reiner has a
- 9:58Speaker 2: history of drug addiction and mental challenges. So this will
- 10:02Speaker 2: all be part of the investigation. I'm sure it's ten
- 10:04Speaker 2: fifteen right now. Seven ten wore the voice of New
- 10:08Speaker 2: York Ken Risotto went from mark a all a nasty weather,
- 10:12Speaker 2: the wind, the rain. With the milder quote unquote temperatures,
- 10:16Speaker 2: we could even see some thunder. It's going to be
- 10:19Speaker 2: really windy all day, even as the temperatures get cooler
- 10:21Speaker 2: tonight but partly cloudy later in the day. The rain
- 10:24Speaker 2: should end. Highes in the mid fifties through the day. Oh,
- 10:28Speaker 2: the artistic liberals in DC are beside themselves. It is
- 10:32Speaker 2: pearl clutching time, my friends. They're going to love this.
- 10:36Speaker 2: The Kennedy Center, if you haven't caught this, has been
- 10:39Speaker 2: renamed the Trump Kennedy Center. Yes, President Trump's name comes first.
- 10:45Speaker 2: This was voted on by the Kennedy Center Board of Trustees.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I mean, I know liberals who refuse to call Reagan
- 10:51Speaker 2: national Reagan national. They call it National Airport. Still, now,
- 10:55Speaker 2: why was this done?
- 10:57Speaker 3: Well?
- 10:57Speaker 2: Number one, President Trump is the chairman of the boar,
- 11:00Speaker 2: so that doesn't hurt. But they did it because the
- 11:03Speaker 2: Kennedy Center, in typical liberal fashion, they all love to
- 11:05Speaker 2: claim something for their own, but they don't love to
- 11:07Speaker 2: dig deep in their pockets. They want you to pay.
- 11:10Speaker 2: So the Kennedy Center was turning into disrepair, being run
- 11:13Speaker 2: into the ground and the very liberals who claimed to
- 11:16Speaker 2: love the arts so much weren't getting any donations to
- 11:19Speaker 2: support the place, so it was literally falling apart. Answer
- 11:23Speaker 2: President Trump, he became the chairman of the Kennedy Center Board,
- 11:27Speaker 2: and he managed to immediately raise a record twenty three
- 11:30Speaker 2: million dollars in private donations for the first year alone.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Then he got Congress to write in two hundred and
- 11:37Speaker 2: fifty million dollars for massive building renovations. Remember what Trump
- 11:42Speaker 2: does best. Mark talks about this all the time. Trump
- 11:44Speaker 2: is one of the best builders in the world. If
- 11:47Speaker 2: anybody knows how to take a look at a building
- 11:50Speaker 2: and tell immediately what needs to be done and do
- 11:52Speaker 2: it for the best price, it's Donald Trump. Pardon me.
- 11:55Speaker 2: So he took a look at the building and said, ah,
- 11:58Speaker 2: this needs redoing. That needs redoing. The Kennedy Center, excuse me.
- 12:03Speaker 2: The Trump Kennedy Center will be gorgeous when all is
- 12:06Speaker 2: said and done. And this really irks the liberals because
- 12:09Speaker 2: this is one of their temples. This is like an
- 12:11Speaker 2: epicenter of arts and humanities, and an evil Orange man
- 12:16Speaker 2: will touch our temple. Oh Heaven forbid. So thanks to
- 12:20Speaker 2: Donald Trump, the Trump Kennedy Center will once again be
- 12:23Speaker 2: a world class facility operating financially in the black. And
- 12:29Speaker 2: that's why the board rightfully added his name. Of course,
- 12:33Speaker 2: liberal members of the Kennedy family are screaming now this
- 12:37Speaker 2: name change was done illegally. Kennedy would be rolling over.
- 12:40Speaker 2: President Kennedy would be rolling over in his grave.
- 12:43Speaker 4: You can't do this.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Congress named it the Kennedy Center in honor for a
- 12:46Speaker 2: fallen president. Well, under the way that the charter was written,
- 12:52Speaker 2: the board does have the right to everything. It says
- 12:54Speaker 2: nowhere that the charter in the charter rather that the
- 12:57Speaker 2: board does not have the right to change the name.
- 13:00Speaker 2: So if you don't like it, change the charter and
- 13:02Speaker 2: the board now runs the charter. So sorry, it is
- 13:06Speaker 2: what it is. The place would have probably been forced
- 13:09Speaker 2: to shut down if not for the president's actions. Seven
- 13:13Speaker 2: ten wowar the voice of New York. Hey, all you
- 13:16Speaker 2: Swifties and you know who you are. Have you heard
- 13:18Speaker 2: what iconic star Taylor Swift did for the people who
- 13:22Speaker 2: work for her. Swift's Eras music tour generated two billion
- 13:27Speaker 2: dollars in revenue. Can you imagine? And Swift decided, in
- 13:31Speaker 2: the spirit of the holidays to share nearly ten percent
- 13:35Speaker 2: of that money with her two hundred or so staff members. Yeah,
- 13:38Speaker 2: that's right. So they will share one hundred and ninety
- 13:42Speaker 2: seven million dollars in bonuses. We're not talking of fifty dollars,
- 13:46Speaker 2: you know, gift card folks. Dancers who work for Taylor
- 13:51Speaker 2: Swift to dance around her on stage, they will get
- 13:54Speaker 2: a bonus of seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars this
- 14:00Speaker 2: year alone. These people whose salaries are about one hundred
- 14:03Speaker 2: and fifty thousand, so the bonus is five times their salary.
- 14:07Speaker 2: That's insane, but good for her. Even truck drivers guys
- 14:11Speaker 2: who and women I guess too, who drive all of
- 14:14Speaker 2: the stages and whatnot from a concert venue to concert venue.
- 14:18Speaker 2: They usually make about one hundred thousand a year. Well,
- 14:21Speaker 2: they get double their salary. They're going to get one
- 14:23Speaker 2: hundred thousand dollars bonus. Can you imagine? This is what
- 14:26Speaker 2: Taylor Swift did. So they will have double their annual salaries.
- 14:30Speaker 2: In that case, that is a happy holiday ten nineteen
- 14:33Speaker 2: right now, seven to ten wor the Voice of New York.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Hey.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Notice how the left wing legacy media reported on President
- 14:39Speaker 2: Trump's address to the Nation on Wednesday night. As usual,
- 14:43Speaker 2: they fact checked every word and whenever a statement could
- 14:48Speaker 2: have gone either way based on opinion, they judged what
- 14:51Speaker 2: President Trump said to be a lie. Well, one thing
- 14:54Speaker 2: President Trump said was that inflation was down, and what
- 14:58Speaker 2: he meant was the race of increase is down. But
- 15:01Speaker 2: either way it's down. Mainstream media immediately shot this down.
- 15:06Speaker 4: Is false lies, He's a liar.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Then something happened. Facts were presented. As of yesterday, the
- 15:13Speaker 2: official government numbers show inflation has dropped to a four
- 15:17Speaker 2: year low for the month of November, from three percent
- 15:20Speaker 2: to two point seven percent. So, yes, Donald Trump was correct.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Inflation is down, Prices are dropping, albeit slowly. Yes, things
- 15:29Speaker 2: are still too expensive, but things are coming down. The
- 15:32Speaker 2: so called experts immediately threw water on the numbers, calling
- 15:35Speaker 2: November not a usual month because we had the government
- 15:38Speaker 2: shut down. But the numbers are what the numbers are.
- 15:41Speaker 2: And you know that if Biden were still president, they
- 15:43Speaker 2: wouldn't throw water on his numbers. But of course, when
- 15:46Speaker 2: it's orange man bad, you have to throw water on them.
- 15:50Speaker 2: And if you like President Trump, how about another term.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Forum Constitutional law expert and former Harvard law professor Allan Deershowitz,
- 15:57Speaker 2: a lifelong Democrat, told President Trump it might be legal
- 16:01Speaker 2: for him to run for a third term. You heard
- 16:04Speaker 2: this right. This has got to make the left absolutely
- 16:07Speaker 2: going crazily apoplectic with conspiracies right now. Dershowitz says the
- 16:13Speaker 2: twenty second Amendment says there are loopholes, apparently because it
- 16:17Speaker 2: specifically states no person shall be elected to the office
- 16:23Speaker 2: of president more than twice. But constitutionally, the electoral College
- 16:27Speaker 2: does not elect a president. They choose a president we elect.
- 16:30Speaker 2: So if they were to fail to produce a winner
- 16:33Speaker 2: through the electoral College, the House of Representatives would then
- 16:37Speaker 2: select a president, not elect a president. So technically, if
- 16:41Speaker 2: we have a Republican majority in the House, the House
- 16:44Speaker 2: could select Donald Trump and he could be president. That
- 16:48Speaker 2: was one of several ways presented, but I don't think
- 16:50Speaker 2: it's going anywhere. It was just enough to sell books
- 16:53Speaker 2: for Alan Dushowitz and enough to make the liberals crazy.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Seven to ten wor the Voice of New York. We'd
- 16:59Speaker 2: love to hear from you, So give us a call
- 17:01Speaker 2: right now. Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten, Please forgive
- 17:08Speaker 2: my laryngitis. Ken Rosatto live for Mark on this Friday.
- 17:11Speaker 2: We're coming right back.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Now more of the Mark Simone Show on seven ten WR.
- 17:17Speaker 4: Filling in for Mark. Here again is Ken Rosatto.
- 17:21Speaker 2: And good to be with you on your Friday at
- 17:23Speaker 2: the holiday time. The phone lines are wide open right now.
- 17:26Speaker 2: One eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 17:28Speaker 2: One eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 17:31Speaker 2: And a quick shout out and congratulations to a friend
- 17:35Speaker 2: of mine whose mother, Johanna, just became a US citizen
- 17:39Speaker 2: within the last hour. She went down to the federal
- 17:42Speaker 2: court there in Newark, New Jersey, and she waited ten
- 17:45Speaker 2: years and did it legally, did it the right way,
- 17:47Speaker 2: never did it illegally, and she is our one of
- 17:50Speaker 2: our newest US citizens. Congratulations. Yes, folks, all those who
- 17:54Speaker 2: say Ken have a heart. They're all the same, whether
- 17:57Speaker 2: they're here legally or not. No, this is why it's
- 18:00Speaker 2: so offensive to people who do it the legal way
- 18:02Speaker 2: and they wait ten years. It's like cutting the line
- 18:04Speaker 2: and giving them the finger. Don't do that. You can
- 18:07Speaker 2: be a productive US citizen doing it legally. Seven ten
- 18:10Speaker 2: w R. Let's go to our busy phones, Doctor John
- 18:13Speaker 2: and Newark. Good morning, Happy holidays.
- 18:17Speaker 5: Hello, do you hear me?
- 18:18Speaker 2: Yes, sir, I do great?
- 18:20Speaker 5: Okay, Well, look, God, I have a sort of a
- 18:22Speaker 5: message for everybody. In my opinion. I'm a professor at
- 18:27Speaker 5: their Rutgers Medical School, and both the Democrats and Republicans
- 18:33Speaker 5: have made efforts, but they both agree on one thing.
- 18:38Speaker 5: We need to solve the problem of American medicine costing
- 18:43Speaker 5: US nineteen percent of our GDP. We die younger than
- 18:47Speaker 5: thirty six other countries. There are countries that pay the
- 18:51Speaker 5: governments pay less than two percent of GDP, and they
- 18:54Speaker 5: live six years longer than us, and they're rated thirty
- 18:57Speaker 5: one flats higher than we are by the World's Healthhold Organization.
- 19:01Speaker 5: Now I know how this is done, because I've worked
- 19:04Speaker 5: in the number one rated country in the world, and
- 19:07Speaker 5: I've lectured in several of these countries that are in
- 19:10Speaker 5: the top seven. I know how it is done. I
- 19:14Speaker 5: know how it can be done, but nobody gives it
- 19:17Speaker 5: damn in the United States. I've sent letters on multiple
- 19:22Speaker 5: occasion to Monck, Trump and Kennedy. Nobody got back to me.
- 19:27Speaker 5: Then I started sending it to the Democrats. They don't
- 19:29Speaker 5: care either. Now, why don't they care because so many
- 19:33Speaker 5: billionaires are invested in the American insurance. No American insurance.
- 19:39Speaker 2: I don't have any art. I'm waiting for an argument.
- 19:41Speaker 2: I'm like, no, Doc is right, you're at present. Every
- 19:43Speaker 2: doctor I've spoken too says the exact same thing too.
- 19:46Speaker 2: There is so much money in this to be made
- 19:49Speaker 2: by so many people that you just don't have. And
- 19:52Speaker 2: I heard the Windshow wife persian poor doc Ill. Let
- 19:54Speaker 2: him focus on driving. Doctor, I don't disagree with you
- 19:57Speaker 2: at all. In fact, get your number. We'll get the number.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Here is he at the station. Here, We'll get your number.
- 20:02Speaker 2: We're gonna get you in touch with a congress member
- 20:04Speaker 2: because I'm sure if President Trump got the word directly,
- 20:08Speaker 2: more would be done. This is something that could affect
- 20:11Speaker 2: the Republicans for the midterms, so they will want to
- 20:14Speaker 2: get involved in this. But doctor John is not wrong
- 20:17Speaker 2: on so many levels. Why though, is our life expectancy down?
- 20:21Speaker 2: We'll don't forget versus a country like Sweden or even
- 20:24Speaker 2: Italy or Spain or Ireland. America is so multicultural, and
- 20:28Speaker 2: we have such a huge number of people who come
- 20:31Speaker 2: here impoverished third world countries. And I'm not singling anyone out.
- 20:35Speaker 2: But the reality is we are a much more diverse country.
- 20:39Speaker 2: And so when you get somebody who comes from a
- 20:41Speaker 2: country that may not have all their shots, may not
- 20:43Speaker 2: have all the same nutrition, once they get here, sure
- 20:46Speaker 2: we're going to have a lower survival rate, We're going
- 20:50Speaker 2: to have a higher infant mortality rate. That definitely has
- 20:53Speaker 2: an impact on our numbers. And then, don't forget it
- 20:56Speaker 2: turns out that we've been getting screwed, if you will,
- 20:59Speaker 2: by a lot in the industry over the years, because
- 21:02Speaker 2: we've been paying higher prices for our medicine and for
- 21:05Speaker 2: medical treatment in essence to subsidize in the other countries.
- 21:09Speaker 2: And finally, you look at the other countries, and we
- 21:12Speaker 2: have been subsidizing them by providing military so that they
- 21:15Speaker 2: can afford to give their people whatever, free universities, free healthcare,
- 21:19Speaker 2: while we are paying to defend them, and they are
- 21:22Speaker 2: saving billions and billions of dollars. Seven ten WR The
- 21:26Speaker 2: Voice of New York.
- 21:27Speaker 1: This is the Mark Simone Show on seven ten WR.
- 21:31Speaker 4: Kin from Mark Today, Here's Ken Rosatto and it's.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Our good to be with you. Yay, Happy Friday, Happy Holidays.
- 21:38Speaker 2: We're just past the halfway point for Hanukah, and we
- 21:40Speaker 2: got Christmas just six days away. Have you done your
- 21:44Speaker 2: shopping yet? Man, oh man, if you haven't. Coming up
- 21:47Speaker 2: an hour from now, we'll be talking to a guy
- 21:51Speaker 2: who knows all things tech and gadgets. He is His
- 21:54Speaker 2: name is Fisher, and I use him on the show
- 21:56Speaker 2: I do in New Jersey on the channel I'm on
- 21:59Speaker 2: New Jersey. I'll use him all the time. He gets
- 22:02Speaker 2: these great things, these great bargains you're going to want
- 22:05Speaker 2: to know about. He's also going to talk about little hacks,
- 22:08Speaker 2: credit card tricks, and how to protect yourself with the
- 22:11Speaker 2: credit cards over the holidays, also to use up those
- 22:15Speaker 2: points before the end of the year in some cases
- 22:17Speaker 2: they expire. So that's all coming up just about fifty
- 22:20Speaker 2: eight minutes, not to be that precise, but fifty eight
- 22:22Speaker 2: minutes from now with Fisher. He'll be on with all
- 22:25Speaker 2: that info. You give us a call if you'd like.
- 22:27Speaker 2: We were supposed to have Roger Friedman on. Now. If
- 22:30Speaker 2: Roger's out there, maybe he got his time and mixed up. Roger,
- 22:33Speaker 2: give us a call. We need to have you on.
- 22:35Speaker 2: So Roger Friedman from Showbiz four to one one was
- 22:37Speaker 2: going to call in we're looking for him right now.
- 22:39Speaker 2: In the meantime, we'll use this time for you if
- 22:42Speaker 2: you'd like to give us a call. It's eight hundred
- 22:44Speaker 2: three to two one zero seven ten. Eight hundred three
- 22:48Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten. Hey, check this out. Crude
- 22:52Speaker 2: oil prices have dropped to under fifty five dollars a
- 22:57Speaker 2: barrel now. That has been translating to lower prices at
- 23:01Speaker 2: the pump. The price per gallon of regular gas has
- 23:04Speaker 2: fallen below three dollars a gallon in almost every state,
- 23:09Speaker 2: and even below two dollars a gallon in a few places,
- 23:12Speaker 2: and that will definitely have an impact on the price
- 23:15Speaker 2: of everything, because everything you buy is transported. Think about it.
- 23:21Speaker 2: You have the trucks with produce and chickens, and they
- 23:24Speaker 2: all drive, and the driver has to buy the gas,
- 23:27Speaker 2: and that price has to be passed on everything. Even
- 23:31Speaker 2: home heating oil comes from crude oil natural gas. It's
- 23:36Speaker 2: a different source, but nonetheless it's all connected. Put it
- 23:40Speaker 2: this way, if people are getting cheaper oil prices to
- 23:43Speaker 2: heat their home, there will be less reliance on natural gas,
- 23:47Speaker 2: so there'll be greater supply, et cetera. The price comes down,
- 23:50Speaker 2: So this impacts our overall price, overall all right, for everything.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Listen to what the slime bags in Trenton, New Jersey
- 24:00Speaker 2: have done. I'm no friend of the state legislators in
- 24:02Speaker 2: New Jersey. I'm shocked they haven't put a hit out
- 24:04Speaker 2: on me yet. Not that I'm suggesting anything, but the
- 24:08Speaker 2: liberal lawmakers in the Garden state just voted to hike
- 24:11Speaker 2: the state gas tax to nearly fifty cents a gallon,
- 24:16Speaker 2: forty nine point one cents a gallon, to be exact,
- 24:19Speaker 2: it's like up a little over four cents from what
- 24:21Speaker 2: it is at this very second. As of January first,
- 24:25Speaker 2: it becomes forty nine point one CeNSE per gallon of gas.
- 24:29Speaker 2: That's just the new Jersey state tax, and the new
- 24:33Speaker 2: Jersey state tax on diesel per gallon will be fifty
- 24:37Speaker 2: six point one CeNSE per gallon. So trucks that transport
- 24:41Speaker 2: all our goods when you see on the highway, those
- 24:43Speaker 2: big Target trucks and Walmart trucks, and you know, the
- 24:49Speaker 2: non electric vehicles for any of the other transporters, et cetera,
- 24:55Speaker 2: they're all, you know, driving on diesel for the most part.
- 24:58Speaker 2: And even those who you evs you think ken I
- 25:02Speaker 2: plug in my car and I have nothing to do
- 25:04Speaker 2: with this. Well, yeah you do, because most of the
- 25:06Speaker 2: power plants out there are still fossil fuel powered, so
- 25:10Speaker 2: they too get their source of power from crude oil.
- 25:14Speaker 2: So everybody and everything will be impacted by this. As
- 25:19Speaker 2: the wholesale cost per gallon of gas is dropping in
- 25:21Speaker 2: New Jersey, listen to what these little dirt bags are
- 25:24Speaker 2: doing in trent I'm sorry, these state lawmakers in Trenton
- 25:27Speaker 2: are currently doing. They decided that because President Trump is
- 25:33Speaker 2: getting the cost of crude down, they would simultaneously jack
- 25:37Speaker 2: up the tax for the state of New Jersey. That
- 25:41Speaker 2: fulfills two things for them. Number One, you in New
- 25:45Speaker 2: Jersey buying gas will not notice the price has come
- 25:49Speaker 2: down because the tax went up. Therefore, you don't know
- 25:52Speaker 2: that the price per gallon came down. That's number one.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Number Two, it ends up giving them more money in
- 26:00Speaker 2: the coffers for them to do with what they want
- 26:02Speaker 2: to get re elected. One of the interesting things they
- 26:05Speaker 2: pointed out when asked why they had to increase the tax,
- 26:09Speaker 2: they said, because people have done a good job listening
- 26:11Speaker 2: to us. And a reporter asked, what are you talking about?
- 26:14Speaker 2: And legislators in New Jersey said, well, we've been telling
- 26:17Speaker 2: people to do less driving carpool, more, use car shares,
- 26:21Speaker 2: use mass transit, and they have. As a result, we've
- 26:24Speaker 2: sold less gas, which means we've had lower gas tax revenue.
- 26:28Speaker 2: So now we have to raise the price of gas
- 26:31Speaker 2: tax to make up for the people driving less. So
- 26:34Speaker 2: you're getting punished for doing the right thing from an
- 26:37Speaker 2: environmental perspective. Isn't that nice. That's the way democrats think
- 26:41Speaker 2: of you. Middle finger right to your face, and they
- 26:44Speaker 2: think we're all stupid. But here's part of the problem.
- 26:47Speaker 2: When you open up the floodgates to nearly a million
- 26:50Speaker 2: illegal migrants, and you have to come up with all
- 26:53Speaker 2: this extra money to educate the kids, give them two
- 26:57Speaker 2: to three squares a day in public school. You have
- 26:59Speaker 2: to give the folks coming into the state a free
- 27:01Speaker 2: place to live, you have to give them food, you
- 27:04Speaker 2: have to help them with other resources. Well, that money
- 27:07Speaker 2: has got to come from somewhere. And the state says, well,
- 27:09Speaker 2: we don't have a fund for that. Of course not,
- 27:11Speaker 2: because money is fungible. What that means is, pardon me.
- 27:16Speaker 2: They take a little from this program. First, Now I'm
- 27:18Speaker 2: gonna call pardon me. They take a little from this
- 27:21Speaker 2: program and take a little from that program, and that's
- 27:23Speaker 2: how they pay for it. And so those programs end
- 27:26Speaker 2: up in a deficit. At the end of the year,
- 27:28Speaker 2: your taxes go up, and that's how you pay for it.
- 27:31Speaker 2: This is the way the Democrats think. And in the
- 27:33Speaker 2: state of New Jersey, the Democrats control the State Assembly,
- 27:37Speaker 2: the state Senate, they have the governorship, and of course
- 27:40Speaker 2: in January they will have the governorship again. They control
- 27:43Speaker 2: the state Supreme Court. They also control nine of the
- 27:47Speaker 2: twelve Congress seats. I should say in the federal government,
- 27:51Speaker 2: nine of the twelve are Democrats. They control both US
- 27:54Speaker 2: Senate seats, and they control the top fifteen largest cities.
- 27:59Speaker 2: The mayors and the councils are all controlled by Democrats
- 28:02Speaker 2: in New Jersey. So you cannot blame anyone but the
- 28:06Speaker 2: Democrats for this. Let's go to Joyce in Hawthorne, New Jersey. Joyce,
- 28:10Speaker 2: you're a fellow garden Stater. You know what I'm talking about.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Good morning and happy holidays. Oh we just dropped that. Oh,
- 28:16Speaker 2: let's go to Bill in New Jersey. I'm sorry. Let's
- 28:17Speaker 2: go to Bill in New Jersey. Fellow garden Stater. Good morning.
- 28:21Speaker 6: Hey, Ken, how you doing.
- 28:23Speaker 2: I'm great.
- 28:24Speaker 6: I I wanna, I wanna thank you very much for
- 28:28Speaker 6: finally being the person to start screaming about this incoming
- 28:32Speaker 6: tax It's it's Murphy's last poke in the eye to
- 28:35Speaker 6: the people of New Jersey, and he's already set up
- 28:39Speaker 6: the new affordability governor to take a fall right off
- 28:43Speaker 6: the back. So it's just amazing. Uh what these people
- 28:48Speaker 6: have done.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Yeah, this is this is the game they play, and
- 28:51Speaker 2: they think we're all stupid. But I mean, you got
- 28:54Speaker 2: to give them credit for looking at this opportunity. You
- 28:57Speaker 2: knew Trump was gonna get gas prices down, so why
- 29:00Speaker 2: not just add taxes at the same time so it'll
- 29:03Speaker 2: look like Trump hasn't done anything. The price for a
- 29:05Speaker 2: gallon of gas in New Jersey is the same as
- 29:07Speaker 2: it was a month ago or two months ago. Meanwhile,
- 29:10Speaker 2: the wholesale price is down. It's just that the state
- 29:13Speaker 2: tax is up. Do you know what The breakdown of
- 29:15Speaker 2: taxes on a gallon of gases. Wholesale gas is about
- 29:19Speaker 2: a dollar sixty a gallon. Then you have to add
- 29:21Speaker 2: about eighteen cents federal tax. That's all it is. Eighteen
- 29:25Speaker 2: cents New Jersey is almost fifty cents a gallon for
- 29:28Speaker 2: the state, and then in big cities like New York,
- 29:30Speaker 2: they add another forty six cents or so per gallon.
- 29:33Speaker 2: New York State adds forty six cents a gallon, and
- 29:36Speaker 2: then you have you know, county municipalities in some case
- 29:39Speaker 2: tacking it on, and then whatever little bit that the
- 29:41Speaker 2: local retailer sales to make money on it, they usually
- 29:45Speaker 2: only make about a nickel. So that's how we have
- 29:47Speaker 2: the price of gas. It's comprised at this point mostly
- 29:50Speaker 2: of taxes and fees, not the cost of wholesale. It's crazy.
- 29:54Speaker 6: Yeah, And you know, New Jersey used to be one
- 29:58Speaker 6: of the best states in the country, even despite the
- 30:00Speaker 6: fact we don't have self service gas. We used to
- 30:03Speaker 6: have some of the best prices in the country. Now
- 30:06Speaker 6: forget about it. I've just came back from Texas. Prices
- 30:10Speaker 6: down there for over Thanksgiving to now have dropped thirty
- 30:14Speaker 6: cents a gallon. What's happening in New Jersey? Nickels and
- 30:17Speaker 6: dimes going up.
- 30:19Speaker 2: It's crazy. It's crazy. But again, this is what happens
- 30:22Speaker 2: when they keep voting Democrat. I don't understand. I thought
- 30:25Speaker 2: for sure this time Chitterrelly was going to do it
- 30:28Speaker 2: to lose. The way he lost just makes me lose
- 30:31Speaker 2: a lot of faith in my fellow garden Staters. Hey,
- 30:33Speaker 2: thank you so much for don't.
- 30:36Speaker 6: Don't get me started on Chitdarelly. I can tell you
- 30:39Speaker 6: what his campaign failings were.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Well, we'll do a whole show on that. You call
- 30:44Speaker 2: back again, we could do that call. You could always
- 30:46Speaker 2: call me on my show in New Jersey that I do.
- 30:48Speaker 2: We'll put you on for that. But listen, I appreciate
- 30:51Speaker 2: the call. Happy holidays, and thanks for checking in with.
- 30:53Speaker 6: Us, you sir, Thank you, all right, thank you, all right.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Seven to ten w R the Voice of New York
- 31:00Speaker 2: once again. We'll take calls when we come back. I'll
- 31:02Speaker 2: go get a little tu and rest my voice. The
- 31:05Speaker 2: call lumber is one eight hundred three two one zero
- 31:09Speaker 2: seven ten. One eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 31:12Speaker 2: ten Ken Rozotto. For those you know when I mentioned
- 31:15Speaker 2: my show, I'm on a channel called on New Jersey
- 31:18Speaker 2: uh in New Jersey. It streams at o NNJA dot com,
- 31:22Speaker 2: so you can take a look at it anytime ONNJ
- 31:25Speaker 2: dot com. I'm on there every single day, and then
- 31:29Speaker 2: I get the pleasure of coming here to fill in
- 31:31Speaker 2: whenever either Larry or Mark or off. So I'll be
- 31:34Speaker 2: in for Larry on Monday. So anyway, we'll take your
- 31:36Speaker 2: calls when we come back. Eight hundred three to two
- 31:38Speaker 2: one zero seven ten for w R.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Now more of the marximone Show on seven ten wo R.
- 31:46Speaker 4: Filling in for Mark here again is Ken Rosado and we.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Go straight through our busy phones on this holiday Friday.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Bob and Montvale, New Jersey, Good morning.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Hey, good morning, Ken. Hope you feeling better. You have
- 32:00Speaker 3: to take the raw honey with that throat. I'm telling you.
- 32:02Speaker 3: I'm not being junk out of the Teddy Bear tubes,
- 32:05Speaker 3: but I hope you're feeling better there. But you know
- 32:08Speaker 3: what bugs me is here and these New Jersey people,
- 32:11Speaker 3: now I'm New Jersey complaining. I mean, where were they
- 32:16Speaker 3: when you know Cheryl was talking about you know, made
- 32:19Speaker 3: no sense about. You know, it wasn't going to raise taxes.
- 32:23Speaker 3: This gas tax was a known thing. Our utility bills
- 32:27Speaker 3: are going to go up again. Oh and the tolls
- 32:29Speaker 3: are going up on the throw on the parkways. So
- 32:33Speaker 3: you know, I blame early voting, believe it or not,
- 32:37Speaker 3: I thought Jack should really was was it? Gimme me?
- 32:40Speaker 3: Especially what goes on here in this state. It's a
- 32:43Speaker 3: sanctuary state. This is what we're paying for. And it
- 32:46Speaker 3: really sickens me to hear people now like complaining it's
- 32:51Speaker 3: too late, folks.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and this is the problem. When you only have
- 32:54Speaker 2: about fifteen to twenty percent of the population actually getting
- 32:56Speaker 2: off their butts and going out and voting, that is
- 32:59Speaker 2: the problem.
- 33:00Speaker 6: You know.
- 33:00Speaker 2: The liberal activist types got out there and voted. Meanwhile,
- 33:04Speaker 2: a lot of the older folks who tended to be
- 33:06Speaker 2: more conservative, they sat home and they said, well, well,
- 33:10Speaker 2: I only vote for the president stuff. No, you got
- 33:13Speaker 2: to vote for everything. That is the problem. Bob, we
- 33:17Speaker 2: gotta go. We're up against the top of the hour.
- 33:19Speaker 2: I appreciate you, sir. Happy holidays to you. Seven to
- 33:22Speaker 2: ten WR the Voice of New York. Coming up later
- 33:25Speaker 2: in the hour, we'll speak with Brandon digital strategist Fisher
- 33:28Speaker 2: with some really cool holiday tech items that you will
- 33:31Speaker 2: not want to miss. This morning, rainal land, even a
- 33:34Speaker 2: little bit of thunder here. It'll be very windy all day,
- 33:37Speaker 2: partly cloudy a little bit later on high is today
- 33:40Speaker 2: though amazingly in the mid fifties, cooling down tonight, clouds
- 33:43Speaker 2: Tomorrow high's upper thirties again. Ken Rosotto went from mark
- 33:47Speaker 2: on your Friday during the holidays, We're coming right back.
- 33:50Speaker 2: After the news
