- 0:00Guys, what is going on? Welcome back to another video.
- 0:03Have you ever had those days? Where you're like, dude, I like
- 0:05suffer from sensory processing disorder and like I just can't
- 0:08anymore I just like I'm done. I'm out.
- 0:11Well luckily for you I have five hacks here that are going to
- 0:14help you guys. You guys hear like the like a,

- 0:22outside my window, their truck. No truck.
- 0:29All right, no truck, let's go. All right.
- 0:31Okay guys, so I've kind of come up with some sensory processing
- 0:34hacks. I'm gonna get guys a little bit
- 0:35more frame. Ha ha, as you can see me a
- 0:38little bit and I wanted to do these hacks because it's
- 0:41essentially processing awareness month which is pretty cool.
- 0:44And it's also led to the awareness month which is kind of
- 0:47really interesting too because like, you know, both men's are
- 0:49really, really important to put my phone on charge anyway for
- 0:51that. I am going to go through five
- 0:53tips are going to be able to help you just a little live a
- 0:56little bit better with She processing disorder because you
- 0:59know, the thing about sensory processing disorder is that can
- 1:02be really debilitating for people and I just want to help.
- 1:05That's all I wanna do is help. All right, guys, first up is
- 1:07today's awesome sponsor, which is sanskrit.
- 1:09Now, this is an absolutely fantastic piece of equipment.
- 1:12I've had this for about a year, maybe two years and sound story
- 1:16is a multi-sensory music, therapy and movement program.
- 1:19The soundtrue headphones equipped with a dynamic filter
- 1:21and bone conduction technology. Help improve motor skills and
- 1:24cognitive development in children, and adopt the program
- 1:26consists of specially designed music.
- 1:28Like process with neuro acoustic modifications as well as a
- 1:31series of movement based exercises.
- 1:33It's a 40 Day program divided into sections of 20 days each
- 1:37with a breakup one month in between each day consists of 30
- 1:40minutes of Music. Exercise, science really helps
- 1:43improve fine. Gross visual motor skills in
- 1:45children, hand writing, and drawing balance and posture,
- 1:48hand-eye coordination. Building on these foundational
- 1:52skills, some truly improves, emotion regulation, social
- 1:55skills and communication which is pretty dope.
- 1:57Now you He dogs are in for a treat because to celebrate
- 2:00Century processing month. The sound to people are giving

- 2:09The as B10 again extra, 10% off your purchase.

- 2:15Awesome sounds pretty cool. Thanks guys.
- 2:17Okay, so number two is kind of something I've touched on a few
- 2:20times and I've done in my full-length course.
- 2:22I have a course available. If you guys are interested, I
- 2:24will leave the link in description down below and
- 2:26encounter both here. It's very Friends of course but
- 2:29a part of this course, talks about the sensory diet.
- 2:31Now a lot of things certain techniques can do to help reduce
- 2:35sensory processing issues because sensory processing
- 2:37issues like spatial awareness, you know how far it's gone is to
- 2:41be open for a walk through it. You know, I'm not gonna be able
- 2:43to put my mic up down on the side without it falling off and
- 2:46all that kind of stuff. Now, those things all come from
- 2:49something called proprioception, that proprioception is a deep
- 2:51muscle kind of activation, but you can do with white touch.
- 2:55You could do like, some pressors worpress herbs.
- 2:57You can do, like, Jog or run or walk or anything really?
- 3:01As long as you're doing this every couple of hours to kind of
- 3:03keep the proprioception activation up, you will have a
- 3:06greater chance of really feeling pretty dope and and, and
- 3:10lowering a lot of those sensory processing issues which I find
- 3:13really, really good. The next one, I've got here for
- 3:15you guys is sensory breaks. People don't do this, but
- 3:18everybody should do it. If you have sensory processing
- 3:20disorder, like if you're on the autism spectrum you're like hey
- 3:22I got sensory processing disorder and all this kind of
- 3:24stuff going on. I would highly recommend having
- 3:27Century brakes on what This is, is you input small breaks into
- 3:30your daily life. Just, I don't know, maybe 20
- 3:33minutes or half an hour in every day just to kind of like
- 3:36detached from everything and just really chill take away from
- 3:40all the sensory, kind of activation that's going on.
- 3:42All this nonsense always had, you know, you want to go
- 3:44somewhere. It's like dead quiet.
- 3:45Maybe turn the lights down, just chill for 20 minutes.
- 3:48Doing this a day will really help reset and get you balance
- 3:51back. Like, so you're not like overly
- 3:52stimulated all the time by sensory processing, right?
- 3:55Super interesting. People don't do it, but the
- 3:57shit. Okay, now, For is headphones on
- 3:59sunglasses. I can't stress to you enough.
- 4:02How important headphones are in actual fact.
- 4:04My noise-canceling headphones. I have one parent here, which
- 4:07are the Apple earpods. We've got noise cancelling
- 4:09feature on it as well. But also my headphones that I
- 4:12use every single day, especially if my kids get into law because
- 4:14let's face it parents who are autistic, who have kids, who are
- 4:18noisy? I feel you, I feel your pain.
- 4:20So I have the headphones I use and then on my bedside table and
- 4:23I put them on and I just used the noise, cancellation feature,
- 4:26on them. Just to give me some quiet time
- 4:27if I need To be like around my kid and he's being a kind of you
- 4:29know just a kid or an ADHD nightmare but that's kid using
- 4:34headphones. Like that helps eliminate and
- 4:35filter out a lot of like unwanted noise and background
- 4:38noise in kind of your daily life but also having sunglasses to
- 4:42lower the impact of certain lighting that is like overly
- 4:45stimulating for. You can really help reduce and
- 4:47filter out. A lot of light, if you just help
- 4:49protect your eyes a little bit and a pro tip, if you got
- 4:52sunglasses on and you're looking at somebody, you can actually
- 4:54pretend to look at them in the eye when you're actually not
- 4:56looking at me in the eye, because I know people Spectrum
- 4:58of difficulty with that you win everyone's a winner baby.
- 5:01Okay number five is Comfort over style like guys I sometimes like
- 5:05right now I'm wearing short to do like I'm where I'm in shorts
- 5:08and a hoodie because and I don't have anything else and anything
- 5:11because like it's all about being comfortable, you know.
- 5:14Too many people go for like fashion or style because they
- 5:16feel like they're gonna be judged by people but people
- 5:18should never really be judged by anybody.
- 5:20Like, if you feel more comfortable in Century, soft
- 5:24clothing, like, hoodies and sweatpants just wear those dude
- 5:27like He cares literally nobody is going to the grocery store or
- 5:30Supermarket looking at you as if you're running a fashion show,
- 5:32they'll let you there to do their own thing.
- 5:33Nobody's worried about what you're wearing of the new so
- 5:36just wear what you want but by doing that you eliminate a lot
- 5:39of triggers because if you're wearing clothes are a little bit
- 5:41uncomfortable but you want to wear them because you want to
- 5:42kind of be non judged, but at the same time those things are
- 5:46going to take you. There may be tags or other bits
- 5:48and pieces. I'm going to trigger you not
- 5:50good. Go for Comfort over style every
- 5:52single time. I want to know your hacks.
- 5:55If you got anything to add about a comment down below, I read
- 5:57every single one. This your thumbs up, follow me
- 5:59on Instagram and Tik Tok. If you wanna see more videos and
- 6:02here on YouTube and Facebook, I love you guys.
- 6:05Peace.
