- 1:03[SPEAKER_01]: If you haven't yet, listen to that interview.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_01]: You are definitely going in an out of order, but that's fine.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's totally fine.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: We're actually, we don't do perfection here.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_01]: We don't.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: And but also this kicks off our habits series.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_00]: This one.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I didn't know.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: We are in the habit series.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_01]: You don't even know.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: I know that's amazing.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you're in a comment that it was coming up because the two you've talked a lot about habits.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_01]: So she kicked us off.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: any time you need to go back through a habit.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: Love that.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: So this is 6-11.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_00]: So just remember episode 6-11.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_00]: So kick off the habit series.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: Well, 6-10.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, the interview with her.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: 6-10.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, last episode.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_00]: So you really should go back and listen to it if you haven't already.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's worth it.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: You should.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_01]: So, but before that, you'll listen to us talk about how today is December 4th, 2021, and it's World Wildlife Conservation Day.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: day, according to Brad's notes.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: Day day.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: Day day.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: World Wildlife Conservation Day is on December 4th, and we're so excited to spread awareness about preserving Earth's endangered floor and fauna.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think the most invasive species on the Earth is, monkeys, catfish, locus?
- 2:34[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm just going to pause.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: Before I say what I'm about to say, the second to the last sentence does make me feel like these people do care about the animals.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm going to get it bring it back to the animals.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_01]: But we do have to talk about.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_01]: how it's us humans and it's not because you're not having enough babies ladies, that's not in it all.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, it's because nature's most magnificent.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: Are we really?
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: Nature's most magnificent creatures worldwide, like people?
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think so.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: Are becoming teenagers and being pushed to the brink of extinction by the greed of some humans?
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so we're not saying that animals and plants are being pushed to extinction because of humans.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_01]: Because of humans.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so all right.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_01]: So, so, oh, I see.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: We're the most invasive species.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: Right, we are the most invasive.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: We are the most eyebrow that is endangered.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm, no.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_01]: So, okay, so I'll take it all.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: First of all, we don't need to have any more babies because we're the most invasive species.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: There it is.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: But it's true.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_01]: I just get so tired of people thinking we're going to run out of people.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: We're not going to run out of people because the earth is going to get too hot for people.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: because we are being asked.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_01]: So this is causing irreparable harm to the wall that ecosystem.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: So just say you know, here are the animals that are endangered right now.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: One of the most rarest cats in the world is the umnure leopard.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_01]: There's only about a hundred of them left.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: The Vekita is a small purpose from the Gulf of California with only 8 to 13 estimated to be left.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_01]: And the rhino, multiple species are actually critically endangered, largely due to poaching for their horns.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: And it's really sad about the rhino because have you seen a baby rhino?
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: They're so cute.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: The orangutain, all species of orangutans, are critically endangered because of the habitat loss from deforestation.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_01]: And they're being hunted or captured as infants.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: I watch this incredible thing about how they're trying to
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: create habitats for orangutans, but then they have to take the orangutans that are used to be more people and like teach them to be orangutans again.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's really quite cute.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: The suwala?
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: Sayo-wala.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: Sayo-wala.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: Sayo-wala.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: An elusive forced while in animal and the animal mountain, sometimes called the Asianian farm.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_01]: Sala.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: an agent unicorn.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we got to see this soon that pen go in over exploded for their meat and scales with a legal trade and a major threat.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: And then the bugs, we got to be worried about the salt creek tiger beetle, the butterflies, the McCarthy's plant louse, and a giant torrent
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: Do we need the medges?
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if that's the same as the midge in Scotland.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: What is it?
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: Diant torrent midge.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: All right, images, oh, I don't actually know what I'm looking at here.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's giving me AI's giving me 75 different kinds of animals, not a way to think are the midge.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: It feels like it's kind of in the ant-leard world, but a bunch of bugs came up.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I went, but did you find the Asian unicorn I did and it actually is like the spindly horn like okay, you know what it looks like everyone it looks like it looks like the target dog on a deer with horns It does not white, but like the snout it's got it's the yeah bolt carrier.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, yeah, but it has antlers that are spinning like spindly they spin all of this to say that we are in the original and oh and
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: We're in danger in a lot of animals.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, one animal goes, it actually affects a whole chain.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_01]: And as humans, I think that we are really getting into.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: We're too self-absorbed even when we think we're doing the right thing.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: So just be mindful of what you're doing.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, we're making the earth too hot.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: And it's going to be a problem for everybody.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: So that's worldwide life, you know, conservation day.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_01]: Humans are an invasive species.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: Not endangered one.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I read that totally wrong.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry about that Anyways, also today is the day we have left for the tour Yeah, we hit the road and that's exciting.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_01]: We are heading to Colorado Yeah, we're gonna call our out springs that event sold out both things sold out in like a week So yeah, yeah, and then we'll be in fit there and we're gonna keep on going.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be see that me such tour is where you can get your tickets

- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: It'll be so fun to meet you in person.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: We really want to.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's one of the best ways for us to hang out.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: And there's lots of prizes balance body is our sponsor of this tour.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: And that means we're bringing our control of G equipment with us.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_01]: We're bringing by own with us.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: This is the biggest one.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: This one has 20 the three cities.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_01]: We've outdone ourselves.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: Truly have and we will see how we are on the other side.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: So also while we're on tour, you know, we talked about this last month, but we did not do a sale for profitable parties this past week.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: I guess it would have been for the Thanksgiving holiday because we're doing something really special December 26 to the 31st.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_01]: And so you're going to want if you've ever wanted to try out agency, if you've ever wanted it to experience what's like to be coached with us and you want to get it on a discount.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: you are going to want to make sure that you are paying attention to our email.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: So so the best thing you can do is go to pirafit.bizslash events because I'll get you on the wait list.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: I actually just wrote a wait list email for those people and yes and that way you will not miss out on this amazing opportunity and it will come back around.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, and then after the new year we come home
- 8:00[SPEAKER_01]: We literally unpack the van.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'm getting my roots and my nails done.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: I literally told the team there's zero things that can happen on that day.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: There's only two things that can happen on that day.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: Because my roots will be five weeks out.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: And so will my nails.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: And we have never tested that before in life.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to basically unpack the van and repack the van while she's getting her nails done.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_01]: And we have any decided for taking it.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_01]: I guess we're taking the van.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going to be teaching at the Plies Journal Expo and Huntington Beach.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: Brad's going to be at the booth.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_01]: We've got some fun fire sites.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_00]: We need to.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: it depends on if those rugs that we are picking up fit in the other car so you guys oh my god do you want to know this we have six rugs that are waiting for us to pick them up six and they're huge and the last thing I needed in this house was a rug but I couldn't say notice six rug so I have to now maybe get rid of some rugs or in the layer of some rugs unclear but this is this is the things that Brad and I on our ADHD have to figure out
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: However, we are going to somehow some car is going to take us to L.I.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: And that car will pick up some rugs before we're at the Exfo.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: And then, I'll be at the booth.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be running around.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing a fun chat with Kent Innellman.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing a fireside chat that I think there are questions to hosting.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_01]: I've got a couple workshops in a class.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: So go to xxll.co slash polatti's journal and then also in January, besides being at my birthday, we are going to let the waitlist people in on an amazing deal on the retreat to Cambodia next October.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_01]: So it happens in January.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 9:30[SPEAKER_01]: Because we want to kick off the new year, help you plan your
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: massive travel for the end of the year and have some fun with us.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_01]: You can plan though.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_01]: You get to think about it all year long.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: How cool is that?
- 9:41[SPEAKER_01]: You'll want to go to crosenessretreats.com to to get on that waitlist because again, all of the waitlist people get the discount.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and we're going to have a call in January in the middle of January, basically, to we're just going to hang out and talk about it all and answer questions for you.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: So if you were like,
- 9:58[SPEAKER_00]: you know, it's interesting, but I'm unsure.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: Come join us for the call.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to email the wait list about the call.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_00]: So go on the wait list.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: Go to crowsnesterthreates.com.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: You'll just see it on the homepage scroll down a little bit.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: Towards the bottom and you'll see, you know, find out about the upcoming events.
- 10:13[UNKNOWN]: And
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll be able to email you the Zoom link and yeah, we're just going to hang out and talk about it and probably invite a couple of our past retreaters to join us so you can ask them questions and all the things but I next year is going to be it's going to be a big a big trip I'm excited it's going to be awesome and we have we've already had we've literally already had people start getting tickets okay I know they got a secret sale and a bunch of people were like yes please so just say
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: They're like, people, like, how do I get the secret sale?
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: Apparently, they just asked you guys, I'm pretty sure that's how it went.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: Then, in February, we will have our agency mini.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: But it's happened in February.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have the dates in front of us.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: So, PRFIT.bus-mini will make sure that you do not miss out on when that is happening.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_01]: But profit without the O, so much money.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_01]: If you pay attention, what's happened on December 26th with 31st, you will not miss out on that many.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_01]: So just hint hint hint hint hint hint.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_01]: I think I'm hinting on the right thing.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_01]: The team will let me know in March will be in Poland and we will also be in Brussels.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: So if you and with Karen Frischman, so if you want to learn in an intimate setting and for like long and days of amazingness with Karen and I,
- 11:25[SPEAKER_01]: Then you're going to want to go to xxll.co slash Poland or xxll.co slash Brussels to snag your spot.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_01]: And then at the time of recording this, we have, they have not announced POT London, but we will be there.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_01]: And so if you go to xxl.co slash POT, you'll see all the POTs that are happening next year.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_01]: So when London is there, you will see it there.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: And if it's not there, you can see all the other things.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_01]: And just because we're sitting there, it doesn't mean we're going to be at all those things.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: No, that's true.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_01]: So don't get mad.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: We'll be at the London.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be at the London one for sure.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_01]: While we teach the London one for sure.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:10[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, so, okay, we had a great question.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: This is from Sam Kreko, Samantha asks from IG.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: Hi, I came across your page, and it is really motivated me to make a change.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_00]: I am an elementary school teacher, and I've been teaching Pilates on the side for about two years now.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_00]: As a former dancer, I've always had a passion for health and wellness.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_00]: I'm looking to teach Pilates abroad for a short amount of time.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe three months, but I'm open to longer.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: I was wondering if you have any suggestions on how to get started.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_00]: Any advice is greatly appreciated.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Sam.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so Sam, you, it's so, here's what it's amazing about being a plies instructor.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_01]: You can kind of go anywhere and get a job, like most studios need people.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_01]: But on prophylize.com, we actually had a great blog written by Roxie Menzies about being a traveling plies instructor.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: And it's, like, I think that we published it like eight years ago.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: And it might be seven years ago.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_01]: And it is still the top
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: one of the top red blogs on the website because it's such a hot topic and so I absolutely recommend reading that book because reading that blog because she did that for years she was a traveling police instructor for years until she settled down and had a family so I would check out that blog post there's also and I think it's linked in that blog post there's also there at least was a Facebook group for traveling police instructors and
- 13:28[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not a hugely active on Facebook, so I understand how that will work, but you can go in there and see what that is.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_01]: And then there's a couple other apps where like studios will put job postings.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think Plank does it PLA and KEE.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_01]: The PMA has a job board.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_01]: Essentially, though, you would just be surprised.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_01]: Because you're thinking, you're going to need to know what your kind of style of teaching is called.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_01]: Because obviously, that's for some students that's going to matter.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_01]: But for you to enjoy yourself, that might matter.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_01]: And then, sometimes they just post things in groups where they tell a friend or you can let people know.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_01]: One of the girls who do elevate, she actually ran someone studio for six weeks in Hawaii.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_01]: So she got to live in the women's house.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: and live in Hawaii on an island by the beach and run her studios when we could take six weeks off, like, what a dream!
- 14:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's amazing.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm all about that.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, maybe not at this point in my life because I don't have a family and a house, but you know, if I was 20 years younger and in this position.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, if we could sell the apartment in LA, when we didn't have the studio, this would have been like upper alley.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, but you have to, but Sam is in the perfect place.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, and she should take advantage of it.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think like so many people like, oh, this is what I should do.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_01]: No, if you are not like, you don't, if you don't have like a least that you're like dedicated to, like if it's easy for you to be mobile, you should do that while you can.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_01]: Because you have, you will meet and learn, meet so many people, learn so many things, you'll learn about yourself.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's like the same reason why you should come to Cambodia.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: like there's just things you have to do in your life so that you can truly level up and figure out what you really want to do.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's a cool thing that would be an applies striker.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: Some people will do this for their whole lifetime and some people will do it seasonally as a thing that they do until they figure out what they want to do.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_01]: I love that.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_01]: So, anyways.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_00]: I'm in.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: Well, thanks for asking that question.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: If you have a question, you can ask us go to be at pod.com slash questions where you can leave a win or a question be at pod.com slash questions and last week, we got the read out one.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: And we'd love to hear one from you.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_00]: So stick around.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_00]: We'll be right back.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to dig into this great conversation that Leslie have with Amy Lidine and we'll be right back.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_00]: All right, now let's talk about Amy Ladine.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_00]: Amy Ladine is a fat loss and mindset coach.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_00]: She's the co-founder of lean bodies consulting in the host of the FIT podcast.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_00]: She helps women in midlife create lasting transformation through training, nutrition, and identity based habit change.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: Great.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha
- 16:10[SPEAKER_02]: What?
- 16:12[SPEAKER_00]: Great.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: Great.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's great.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's so great.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_00]: Actually, you know, I really appreciate it.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: It was, I've been around you for so long now with your habits training with B.J.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_00]: Fog.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_00]: And just listening to you talk about the process and how it all works.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_00]: And it was, it was really fun to listen to somebody else talk about habits and habit,
- 16:38[SPEAKER_00]: But I thought it was cool because it was like, did anybody have a change?
- 16:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_00]: And not just like, have a change.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_00]: So that's pretty awesome.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_00]: Chooses tools like the DAC, which are her daily agreement cards, which we talked about all the back in episode two.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think, or three.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: She was episode five.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_00]: Just kidding, way back in the beginning, five.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: Her DACs, she still uses those, she helps clients reprogram the mental loops that keep them stuck and build a body that reflects their discipline.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_00]: A stage four, non-small, cell lung cancer fighter, Amy continues to lead an inspired through resilience integrity and action.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, I know why.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_01]: This was a big episode.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: This was a pretty big episode.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_00]: It was awesome.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna spoil some things as we talk about it.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_01]: So if you didn't listen, it won't be a surprise when you're listening, but like, it was...
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: She just can't say no.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_00]: Recurring for the fourth time, recurring, and this time, it's a tractor brain.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really upset.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, I'm frustrated for her.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: And we have another friend who's going through something similar to the second time and you're just like,
- 17:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know, like it's just so frustrating because like of course, there are also the people like doing the work and caring for the people and they're so generous and all that they do and you're just like like why can't it be the fucking asshole over there, you know, why you know, but it doesn't get to be that person.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: So we can't let we get into that in a little bit, but I actually want to talk some other things I did love that she said.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I before that I just wanted to say, you know, thanks for the update Amy and I just wanted to say that I
- 18:06[SPEAKER_00]: appreciated her honesty.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm glad you asked the question the way you asked which was like, how is it going with cancer?
- 18:13[SPEAKER_00]: Do you still have cancer?
- 18:14[SPEAKER_00]: What's what's going on?
- 18:16[SPEAKER_00]: And she's it, yes.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_00]: And instead of being like, oh, I'm so sorry, you said I'm sorry, but, you know, like, how does that make you feel?
- 18:26[SPEAKER_00]: Like, do you feel like
- 18:28[SPEAKER_00]: I can't remember exactly what you asked, but it was something about like, do you, are you tired of being sorry?
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: Be tired of people saying that?
- 18:35[SPEAKER_00]: And she said, I'm actually tired of it.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm tired of also being the strong one because people always tell, oh, you're so strong.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_00]: And she's like, I don't want to be that anymore.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_00]: I've been doing that for a long time fighting this and it's, you know, she doesn't want to do that.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: So I just thought it was a really candid conversation about somebody who's going through something that, you know, the first times,
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: we're probably like debilitating and crushing.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: And this time, it's almost, it's got to be like some kind of a teen at this point first.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think we talked about like how she didn't even tell them right away because it's like you just don't, like you just don't even wanna like go through the things that people are gonna say.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_00]: We all know what they're going to say.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we've done it with our pet, you know, and I'm not, I'm not carrying them in that way, but the recurring trauma of something that's tragic happening a second time, you know, I can only imagine a fourth time, you know, so.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_01]: just wanted to say thank you for asking that the way you did and Amy thanks for being candid and being well in the share and you know and also like I don't we were like we were talking before the episode started and it didn't come up and so I was like oh Jesus fuck like you know she didn't tell and also and here's the other thing that it's really important for us here at no point did I go she'd never told me
- 19:58[SPEAKER_01]: like as if you know what I mean like like it's in a front didn't tell me I can't imagine tell me it's like I think it's you know that's that's like narcissism.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even it's it's it's it's it's it's my name mean you might not be a narcissist who does who says that and you still say about like it's well it's never by the way it's never about you right in fact if like just okay if you're someone in my life who I'm not calling it's probably not about you
- 20:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's probably me.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: Most likely 99.9% of the time, it's me.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_01]: So you know, and so if any of your friends are like me at all, it's also them.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's not you.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_01]: So if it is you, you can just say, hey,
- 20:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm actually a little surprised, and if it is me, I just want to know if it's not me, no, no, it isn't the same thing, but like it's probably not you, but so at no point did I think that, but I was just like, geez, this fucking suck, she, because she is so strong, which is gonna be so tired because people will always say, to me, they're like, you're so resilient, it's like, I'm fucking.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: fired up in resilient.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_01]: So anyways, she's about to ask let's get into some of the reasons why she is she said on body and identity and this is another reason why I like the way that she talks about habits because like she talks about it as embodying it and I think I should have this about one of my clients either day or the other another episode where she's like I'm a healthy person like it's an identity that she wants to be and a healthy person won't late cancel their Pilate sessions.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_01]: And you're right, like so I was so proud of for us, like I'm so proud of you because like that's how you can that's how you can make changes in your life.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't have to be habits, but I make changes.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_01]: And so she said on embodied identity, you have got to show up as the person you want to be.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: And so for Amy, she talked about how she puts on her makeup and she does her hair and she consciously avoids verbalizing her pain or fatigue with what she's going through managing her stage for cancer because she's really focusing on your body goes in the direction you speak to it.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_01]: Your body goes in the direction you speak to.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_01]: You've all heard like where your energy goes.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: That's where it flows, right?
- 22:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like you're so you can focus on all the negative things that are happening in your life and guess what you're going to see, all the negative things and guess what you're watering, all the you're literally watering the negative things.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_01]: But if you're focusing on and it's not a toxic positivity type of focus, but if you're focusing on showing up as a person you want to be and putting your focus in that direction, it is going to get you there.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_01]: She said she emphasized the power of maintaining her appearance as a tool to influence her self-perception.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_01]: So I love this.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_01]: I do this too, because whenever I feel a little tired, we'll run down.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_01]: If I look at them, I'm like, oh, I didn't get dressed today.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_00]: Sure.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, like, but maybe it's the husband's sleep.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_00]: I know what you mean.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_00]: You just kind of, you know, roll out a bed and keep going.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_01]: And sometimes it happens.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, oh, no wonder I'm feeling like not myself.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_01]: You put everything on and even if that doesn't solve the world's problems, it kind of you look at yourself in the mirror.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_01]: All right, look at her.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: Great.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: So she said, and not many people realize that it's a big, super power.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_01]: You want to see a reflection of who you're wanting to be feeling like in the mirror.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so I think some people can get a little weird about like,
- 23:14[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, put it on makeup and doing my hair like that's so superficial.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's not guys.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, there are people that are superficial who do that, but for most of us, it is kind of the thing that helps us show up more as the person we want to be because we're fun on the outside.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's like,
- 23:33[SPEAKER_00]: I think corporate usually it's weird about it because every, you know, it can become like a competition and stuff, but like, you know, there is a reason that people wear a suit and tie in a corporate environment, right, it changes the way you, you, it's supposed to change the way you act.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's supposed to, you know, I mean, there's a way there's uniforms at schools.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's like kind of so that everyone is like not in pajamas at school, but also like, you know, supposed to help people like not be wanting up each other, but like, sure, kind of also like this, if it's your job to go to school, like, then it's you're going to farm, you know?
- 24:06[SPEAKER_01]: So I get it.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I definitely have found myself changing my shirt before I get on Zoom calls now.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_00]: Where I'm like, you know, like my old t-shirts aren't really my vibe anymore.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: And as much as I enjoy them for, you know, running around or, you know, weekend yard work there.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_00]: They're the wrong vibe for when I'm coaching or I'm on a call or whatever.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, it definitely gives you the perception of yourself.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I think like, I just think that a lot of us are taking notes from people who maybe what they're saying means well, especially if you're like, oh my God, I have to spend some time getting ready every day.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you don't need that stuff.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_01]: But like, if you are trying to feel like a more positive person who feels strong and it's a leader, like they seem to help.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Dr. Celeste Hallberg calls
- 24:59[SPEAKER_01]: There's she calls them harm reduction acts like she would love to not wear makeup and she would love to not have to put on a clothes that match but for her to get her message out
- 25:13[SPEAKER_01]: She understands that there is a way that she needs to show up.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_01]: And if she shows up, that way she reduces the harm she could get in the comments.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_01]: And so she also does this thing in the morning so that she could put these things on.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_01]: So it could show up in the way that she wants to be received so that she can give her message out there.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_01]: So there's so many different reasons to have things that help you show up as the identity that you want to be.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_01]: So you can actually do the thing that you want to do.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that leads pretty straight into what I enjoyed.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: I was just talking about.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_00]: She was talking about how we, how do we create change in ourselves?
- 25:51[SPEAKER_00]: And how do we, you know, have it forming and all that kind of stuff?
- 25:54[SPEAKER_00]: The self-talk, the way that we, we,
- 25:57[SPEAKER_00]: what we're thinking, it's really interesting, because I'm like super analytical at a little bit sarcastic, the wrong word, but cynical is the right word, right?
- 26:06[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm a little bit cynical, so, you know, I feel like there can be this dissidence of like, oh, when I say these happy things, I'm still lying to myself because it's not reality.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_00]: what what she's talking about were was basically the way that you say the things to your brain really matters and it really needs to be identity shifting the things that you say to yourself.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_00]: So like for example what I've noticed this is just very basic but if I wake up and I go I feel tired.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_00]: I probably feel tired all day.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_00]: But if I wake up and I say, I'm ready to go, then I'm going to be ready to go all day.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_00]: Especially if you're like, I feel good.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_00]: I feel good, I'm ready.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_00]: Let's do this, right?
- 26:51[SPEAKER_00]: And so in that same vein, she advocates for scripting or writing out your day as if you were already your future self.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_00]: So this is like future casting, right?
- 27:02[SPEAKER_00]: And this is also,
- 27:04[SPEAKER_00]: like, you know, you call it manifesting or whatever, but the idea is that you're, who is it that you wanted to be?
- 27:10[SPEAKER_00]: Who do you want to be?
- 27:11[SPEAKER_00]: Who do you, how do you want to operate?
- 27:13[SPEAKER_00]: You know, how do you want to think?
- 27:15[SPEAKER_00]: If you create a script for that, and she talks about, I am someone who is good at making decisions, and I make decisions that benefit myself, my future, my family, and every decision that I make is it helps lead us towards the path that we're going down.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_00]: This kind of a thing where it certainly can be, and she said, script this, because what happens is, you're rewiring your brain.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_00]: right she said your brain doesn't actually see the difference between your future self being a scripted version of yourself and the current self right and what you're doing she said since 91% of your thoughts are repetitive which is crazy because I thought it was only 80s she said 91
- 28:00[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, uh, she said conscious scripting is a new, you know, your new reality is essential for breaking away from old patterns and you're, you're trying to show that you can change, you know, you're, you're, you're changing who you are and it when you, as you're scripting this, whatever it's going to be for the future, this mantra that you're going to create for yourself, there will come a point that you're, you start to adopt it in the way that you think.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, so.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_00]: It might sound cheesy and weird, but give it a try.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I think this is actually really interesting.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I actually really like this when I think like for the people who are like, I'm so busy.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_01]: You can do this when I come out because you can just talk to text.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_01]: You can just talk to text.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, I think the idea is that if you're scripting it, you want to read it.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you know, but talk to text, then you can read it.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like if you don't have, if you're like my morning is so busy, it's so chaotic.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_01]: I got to get the everybody out of the door.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_01]: You could then on your way to work, talk to text and a note on your phone.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_01]: Here's my day, here's my day went to, it's the end of the day, here's how my day went.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_01]: Like you're scripting the day, right?
- 29:04[SPEAKER_01]: And then when you get to your desk, you can just read it.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_01]: You already wrote it.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_00]: I don't quite think that's what she means.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think she's saying, you've to handwrite it.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_00]: No, she's saying map it out.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's the other thing that you do as you're, it's the same thing you repeat it every day.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's the same one.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you're doing it.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_01]: This is the one ever said.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_00]: You're creating a script and you're retraining your brain and the way that you think.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_00]: So how is it that you want to think?
- 29:30[SPEAKER_00]: Let's write these things down.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: If you're already here for yourself.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_00]: Right, is if you were already a future self.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_00]: I like what you're talking about because what you're talking about is more like the brain dumped kind of a thing of like almost like the morning morning pages.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_01]: How does the same day is going to be?
- 29:45[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you could still do this part.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_01]: You could still do it voice to text.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_01]: You just have to do the same one every time.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_00]: Right, but then you have to remember it.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_00]: So.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think you will.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think you'll even get more grateful.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_01]: You're probably going to get better at it.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think about even get more details and more nuances in the cells and the sounds will be there.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just trying to help the people out who are like, look, I know what they're going to stay Brad.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to say, I don't have time to do this every morning.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_01]: time.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm trying to give them the permission to find a way.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_00]: Let's change it.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have time thing.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, I think that we're making it a lot bigger than it needs to be.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe the first time you have to spend some time thinking about who you want to be in yourself, but you need to do that anyway.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: So one, you know, but I think your mantra could literally be two sentences.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_00]: or five sentences.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't have to be paragraphs.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about, you know, something that you can build into your warning routine as a habit and it becomes a habit, you know, and maybe it's when you're brushing your teeth, you see, you know, the note on the mirror that says daily mantra or daily, you know, identity shifting or whatever it is that you, you know,
- 30:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you could put it somewhere where you could read it every morning and every night.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_01]: I like that.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, I don't even think you need to write it out and stick it on the mirror.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_00]: You could, but do it.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_00]: You just need something like, you need to, like, Lussie says, I like it on the mirror.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_00]: Tie it to something that you do daily so that you're going to see it.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like, for example, the making coffee and doing push-ups while I'm waiting for the coffee to brew.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_01]: I like it while you're brushing your teeth because you do probably do that twice a day.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_01]: I like it being on the mirror and not on your phone so you don't get distracted by ADHD people.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_01]: As soon as they open their phone, they're in fucking lost and they're somewhere else.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's what I'm saying.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_01]: And if they don't update that note every day, then the note gets varied.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_01]: So let's just put it on paper, on your mirror and you can read it twice a day while you're brushing your teeth.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_01]: Because while you're brushing your teeth, you're like, man, two minutes is a long time.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's a long time.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_01]: So what if you read it for the whole two minutes?
- 31:43[SPEAKER_00]: What if?
- 31:44[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, again, it doesn't have to be two minutes long.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_00]: It could just be a few seven.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_01]: No, it could be a few sentences that you can over and over again for two minutes.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's cool.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_00]: No stick around.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_00]: We'll be right back.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to dig into some really great beat action items that Amy shared with us.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like, she's a powerhouse.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_00]: I, I, I'm very, I'm continuously impressed by her.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we'll be right back.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_00]: all right so finally let's talk about those be it action items what bold executable intrinsic or targeted action items can we take away from your combo with Amy ladine so funny enough i'm gonna let you say what she got excited about but she she also said she's got this interesting framework that she created about habit building and she calls it five for fifty
- 32:27[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, I thought this was clever.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_00]: I know there, you know, there's, you talk a little bit differently about the length of time it takes to be able to have it.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_01]: Then I, I actually like this idea.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_01]: It cares.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_01]: Thank everybody.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_00]: Wait, wait.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_00]: Let me tell the idea.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_00]: So five for 50.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_00]: What is it?
- 32:43[SPEAKER_00]: Five for 50.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_00]: You're picking five specific things that you want to turn into habits and you're going to perform these habits for 50 consecutive days in a row, right?
- 32:54[SPEAKER_00]: So a little redundant there, consecutive means in a row.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_00]: So 50 consecutive days, you're going to perform these five specific habits that you want to change.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_00]: And there's one caveat, four out of five of those must be things you genuinely intend to continue to do long term.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so you're not picking five things that you might want to try out.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's not what we're talking about.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about four of the things you definitely want to build into your life and the fifth thing maybe that's the thing you want to try out.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_00]: And the examples that she gave were she has a 26 year old son who was like, I really want to learn to draw.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_00]: And he, he said, I'm going to do it for 30 minutes every day and after a few days, he was like, whoa, this is overkill.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_00]: I, I'm not an amazing.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's could see.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_00]: I, I reduced it to 10 minutes a day, but he still did it 10 minutes a day for 50 days.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and that, and so she does give there's a, you have the first week to adjust.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_01]: the habit.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_00]: So I increased his time because he got really into drawing.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_00]: And by the end of 50 days, she said he was like Michael Jordan of drawing.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_00]: He said it's amazing what you can do, you know, you know, how you, you know, whether it's playing the guitar or whatever it is, you know, the, but the, so the fifth habit is reserved for personal growth area that the person wants to explore, this will allow you to dabble in it to see if it's something you'd like to continue to, you know,
- 34:16[SPEAKER_00]: So for her, it was getting back into journaling.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_00]: She's like, you know, I used to do it.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_00]: I was really intentional that before.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_00]: I got out of the habit of it and like, I kind of want to do it, but I'm not really sure.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_00]: If I want to do it again, so she was like, I'm going to add that in as my fifth thing.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, and yeah, that seven day window gives you time to redefine, redefine those agreements.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_00]: There's 50, those five things over the 50 days, you know, if the initial commitment proves too much.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_00]: I thought this was kind of clever, and so that said, I wanted to check in with you less than because you said, oh, I started learning to row.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Tarot.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_00]: Tarot.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_00]: I said Tarot.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: I like I'm rowing about.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm learning to row.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: Tarot.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: Tarot.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'm still learning it.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm still learning it.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_01]: I have missed a few days on the return of our of our coming here, but I actually.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_01]: Except for according to the app I missed a couple of times I think that's because of the plane like I you know I actually do believe I did it on the days that I did it but like it was like you missed it but I actually did almost 50 days in a row on that and I am
- 35:33[SPEAKER_01]: and so but I love it.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really into it and I just I'm really excited because I just got a notification that this 2026 journal is coming and it's like a daily tarot journal so it will help me with my because with tarot you have to like immerse yourself in it to learn it you know like you get to learn the card but then you got to draw the cards and so I'm trying to find these different ways to make sure it's around me so it's easy to do.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_00]: Sure.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: But I am loving this
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: This is really fun for me and it's also really interesting when I tell people I'm learning it because they're like, oh, are you reading and it's like, no No, not everything that I do is going to become something I get paid to do.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_01]: This is for me None of myself, but I but I actually like I really like here's the thing
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: We can all talk about the same thing in different ways and some people are going to love it and some of the other things.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: I actually really like the way that BJ does habits, which is what I'm going to go into the rest of the month.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_01]: That being said, this might be exactly what you want to do.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_01]: Or you can actually go, hmm, I wonder what my five habits would be.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: You can actually use what I am doing for the next month to come up with your buy for 50 and then starting on day one of the year you could go through the first 50 days of the year using amies so you can actually do both sure yeah I did get well anyway I thought I was a good like I love it it's a good challenge you know it's a challenge it's a good one.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it, I think it is a challenge and you're not, it's not like they do this every 50 days where they start new things like they do this and then like they I think if she said it was a couple of times here it's like not like every 50 days like okay it's time for a new five and 50 like you've run out of things to do so my be it axioms she is so clever she actually used her daces and the be it acronym so Daces of the daily action commitments which for her were cards that she was writing on
- 37:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like those cute little like recipe cards.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_01]: So B is bold.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_01]: Pick one agreement that matters.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_01]: So your bold action that she is saying is picking agreement that matters.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_01]: And then you're going to do E, which is executable, write it in real words, not they words, be specific on what you're shooting for.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_01]: And then I, the intrinsic is a link it to how you want it to feel.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_01]: Now how much you want to weigh or how much you want to make.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_01]: So like not anything like external, but how you want how that one thing is going to make you feel on the inside and then T targeted start today, not some day.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_01]: It'd be very specific of when you're going to start doing the thing.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_01]: So I thought that was like a really fun way for her to use her DACs with the beat.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, oh, look at that.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_01]: Do you see it right there?
- 38:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's I thought I was quite clever.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_01]: I love when people give me my acronym back.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to make it a rule, but look, it does make me smile.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying anything guess who I'm listening to this, that maybe you should do it.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_01]: But but it's really good.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_01]: I can't believe it's been 555 episodes.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, she was on episode five.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is episode six 11.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_01]: I know, but she was on episode six 10.

- 39:18[SPEAKER_01]: I really, this is why I actually write down math when I do it, not do to my head.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_00]: We listen to a pod where he says, I don't do live math, so, but maybe we should adopt that.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_01]: Clearly, I don't do live math.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
