- 0:26It is time to leave your worries outside and join me Daniel Malley, Trade
- 0:33Trendholme and Raz Sharma right here inside the treehouse. And it's not just any
- 0:40old day in the treehouse. No, no, no, it's our most
- 0:43favorite day of the week inside the treehouse. See you too, smiling,
- 0:50you know what's coming. It is Friday. Just kidding. I can't do
- 0:56that very often. That hurts. It is Fredy March first, twenty twenty
- 1:03four. Congratulations, we've made it into the third month of the year.
- 1:07We've already experienced sort of a sort of winter, a touch of summer,
- 1:14and back into second winter in North Texas. Congratulations, you're surviving it hopefully.
- 1:19Wait wait, what's what's this wee island man? Look not everyone has
- 1:25to always be having me and my location thrown into their sad face just because
- 1:33just because it's we and we Raj and I. We have suffered through,
- 1:38you know, a fifty degree weather change in twenty four hours. Do you
- 1:42even have fifty degree a total accumulative amount of fifty degree change like in a
- 1:47month? Oh god, now, yeah, no, it's like lately,
- 1:51I think it's been like like four degrees five degree swing from the low to
- 1:56the high. But again, I don't want to throw it in anybody his
- 2:00face. You're the ones that keep bringing it up. If we never said
- 2:04that I was living on an island in the Caribbean, most people wouldn't know.
- 2:07They would just think I live in a funny like in a house with
- 2:09funny decor. Yeah that and but you know it's I really don't think you
- 2:19could do the show and not somehow reference the island life that you leave that
- 2:23you lead. Well, sometimes it plays into certain storylines, like when I
- 2:28find a giant alien beetle out on the road outside the house, or are
- 2:32you just get to go to the beach at two o'clock in the afternoon on
- 2:35some you know, random Thursday. Actually I went this morning at I keep
- 2:39thirty. Yeah, of course I did. I was. I was helping
- 2:45some people get married. I fixed your micarage. That was my bad,
- 2:51accidentally helping you. Now now you're here, you you are inside the tree
- 2:55out Okay, gotcha, not just visually but but vocally as well. But
- 3:00we go, we go back to seventy eight tomorrow, which is going to
- 3:01be another thirty five degree temperature shift in twenty four hours see sometimes people ask
- 3:09why did you move? And while that reason right there is not super high
- 3:15up on the list, it's on the list. Yeah, the others,
- 3:19of course being death and mayhem surrounding my existence. So I felt like,
- 3:24you know what, I'm not getting any younger. A lot of people that
- 3:28are no longer around me don't have the opportunity to go live in the Caribbean.
- 3:30So I'm gonna do it while I can, and do this and do
- 3:36this at the same time, so no one's faulting, you know, and
- 3:38saying I mean we I know, I you know, admire your decisions.
- 3:44It's a they're very wise. I appreciate that. I appreciate that. Now
- 3:50for the segue, someone who has done something that may not be so wise
- 3:58is you know how on sci Fi they have the mashups of of you know,
- 4:03disasters and animals like you got a lava and a tarantula, and you
- 4:09got lava Lanceola, you got shark Nado. Okay, well, now you've
- 4:14got a Queen Bee who is messing with a Canadian turtle and I think all
- 4:17hell is about to break loose Queen Bee. And when I say poor,
- 4:23poor decisions or decisions lacking wisdom. It's apparently on the part of the queen
- 4:30bee going after the turtle's turf. Yeah, okay, interesting, all right,
- 4:36it is it is. It is interesting as far as the teas,
- 4:40but the payoff it's gonna be oh so weird. Yeah, So, Terrey,
- 4:47I will, I will happily hand the reins over to you, because,
- 4:50uh, this is this is your baby, all right, I would
- 4:56I would like to see Raja's face and my own because I've only heard a
- 4:59lit a tiny bit of it. So when you reveal, let's well,
- 5:03first we'll go into uh, you know, we all should know by now
- 5:06Beyonce has a new song, a country song, texas hold Him. Yes,
- 5:11and many and many people are upset about it. So, uh yeah,
- 5:14a lot of people upset because she's topped the country charts. I don't
- 5:18know why, you know what, Ryan can can throw his backwards hat into
- 5:24the ring of rap, than, by god, let Beyonce sing a country
- 5:27tone. Half the country acts are failed rock acts, So I don't know
- 5:30why everyone's having a conniptions anyways, So it will first, we'll the give
- 5:38you a little sample of of Beyonce Texas hold Him. This is her new
- 5:42single. This is her new single, just the No Hold Him. They
- 6:02are cut down, down, down down, okay, okay, yeah,
- 6:11all right, definitely catch you. And I like that you put the I
- 6:13like that you put the foot stomping in there because it actually makes me want
- 6:15to, you know, stop my foot a little bit. So. Uh.
- 6:18There has been a Canadian children's TV show, Franklin the Turtle. Let
- 6:30me play his intro song for you. Yeah, mm hmm. Frank coming
- 6:45over to play rolling a little every day? Yep, sounds to me like
- 7:00someone's getting ensued. I'll play you the mashup of the two. Oh,
- 7:05there's a mashup. I know. Hold you know what, Franklin isn't going
- 7:35to go to anybody else's house because he's about to get his own, really
- 7:39really big one. I didn't read something about this or the creators of the
- 7:46show actually don't mind the comparison, so I don't think. Of course they
- 7:50don't because they're about to get paid. They're about to get named either through
- 7:56lawsuit or the avoiding of lawsuit as writers on this song, which means they're
- 8:03gonna get royalties on all of it. Yeah, I and the TV show
- 8:07may not care, but I promise you whoever created that theme song does Yeah.
- 8:13Yeah, it's like you remember the land down under my Men at Work?
- 8:20There was a children's TV show in Australia and they basically ripped off the
- 8:26music and they never made a dime off that song. Men at Work never
- 8:31made a dime or the children's show Men at Work never made a dime off
- 8:35that song. Every time it plays, that guy's children show gets So maybe
- 8:39this is the same thing. I want to believe it was the same banjo
- 8:43player that was out of work and then just got a call. I was
- 8:46like, I got the tune for you. Well, they evidently Franklin krit
- 8:50was started like ninety five. Oh wow, okay, so you know banjo
- 8:56player's been around a while. If it is the same guy, I feel
- 9:00like I feel like there are only so many studio banjo musicians that are on
- 9:05speed dial for producers. Yeah, it's like this guy is Steve Martin exactly
- 9:15because Roy and Chedd are dead so and the one smother's brother that does play
- 9:20the band, I think see that would have been as safer bet on Beyonce's
- 9:26park go back and sample something off a Yhawk. But I've never heard of
- 9:33there's gonna be a loss it and this is a Canadian children show. I've
- 9:35never heard of a Canadian suing anybody there. They're too nice, law they're
- 9:43not allowed to be impolite. Hey, that loss that could fund their healthcare
- 9:48system. So you know, yeah, that's true. Wow, that is
- 9:54wild. Yeah, the next time you go to Montreal and you have a
- 9:58zero waight time at the e are, you can think that Franklin the Turtle
- 10:03lawyers. Every hospital is gonna be like Franklin the Turtle memorial. The difference
- 10:09is, so you said, the Franklin the Turtle Show tray was was on
- 10:13in like ninety five, ninety five, ninety seven, I think is when
- 10:16it started. Is it still on the air or when the Turtle grow up
- 10:22and now he's in like his awkward teenage phase or is it Franklin. Is
- 10:26it Franklin the Turtle to college years? I don't. I bet he's about
- 10:33to go wild. He's about to make it rain. We're gonna read it
- 10:41after that. I ran from ninety seven to four after the loss that you're
- 10:46gonna find out Franklin overdose but just too much money. They're going to bring
- 10:52back behind the music just for Franklin the Turtles. Great SML's get after Franklin
- 11:01the Turtle wins the laws. See some turtle walking around with a cigarette out
- 11:09of the mouth beer shell. I don't know what to do with all this
- 11:16money and fame. It also sounds like it could be a good children's book
- 11:22tie in with Franklin the Turtle and My Day with Beyonce. Maybe you know
- 11:30it said nineteen ninety five. Maybe she was listening, maybe she was watching
- 11:33the show in nineteen ninety five, And that's one of the inspirations. In
- 11:37Texas. I quite sure we were getting Canadian cartoons down here in ninety five.
- 11:43You know, PBS, you never know, they needed content to fill
- 11:46Yeah. I don't think you are NAFTA included cartoons. Yeah, solid nafta
- 11:52reference you, I mean yeah. And and look that you know, back
- 12:00in those days, that's how things, you know, work, and in
- 12:01some cases still do so. I mean like like in America, we got
- 12:05Speedy Gonzales, but we didn't get Franklin the Turtle. I'm assuming because Speedy
- 12:11didn't have razor wire in the Rio Grand to contend with. That's also Speedy
- 12:18Gonzalez has been canceled. They've removed it off the air here. So yeah,
- 12:22because it is ethnically insensitive, it's it's a little stereotypey. Yeah.
- 12:26I mean, but you go back and look like all those cartoons that we
- 12:31grew up watching are horribly stereotype, like saying we all grew up okay,
- 12:37or or I think they're still hilarious, but uh, you have to you
- 12:45have to go in like the dark web to find a speedy Gonzales episode.
- 12:48I saw this scary part. I saw it steal on Instagram the other day,
- 12:52talking about, you know, is Disney racist and they're, you know,
- 12:54doing all these new stuff. I'm like, Song of the South,
- 12:56baby, what what do you that answers you question right there? Yeah,
- 13:03there's a bluebird on his shoulder. But he wasn't able to vote yet.
- 13:07And when someone says, and someone says, oh my god, Disney was
- 13:11racist back then. Everybody was racist back the Walt Disney. There's a great
- 13:20there's a great article where a girl, a young girl sent in a letter
- 13:24saying that she wanted to be an animator, and his response back were you
- 13:28could be a receptionist or you could, you know, work somewhere else,
- 13:33but women aren't illustrators, and that's what he sent back to a child.
- 13:37And he was also notorious anti Semite, So there's that semotism that's been bad
- 13:45forever. Uh. But the the other thing, especially like you know,
- 13:50uh, you know, keeping women quote unquote in their place, that was
- 13:54sort of the cultural thing at the time, and we eventually, uh grew
- 14:01out of it and realized, rightfully so that women are awesome and that they
- 14:05deserve their place next to men and in a lot of cases ahead of us.
- 14:09Yeah, and she ended up becoming an illustrator at Disney. So that
- 14:11was the best part. Is where is in today's in today's standards? Like
- 14:18if it was if there was a back to the future that brought Walt Disney
- 14:20into today, then he still would have sent that letter because his mind would
- 14:24have been stuck in the you know, the forties and the fifties, right.
- 14:28But then the next day, after the news breaks, he would then
- 14:30have to release a statement saying I said something I shouldn't have. It doesn't
- 14:35actually reflect who I am and what I believe. But I've I'm I'm learning
- 14:39from this experience, and I welcome everyone to to tell me how I can
- 14:45improve upon my So it's not I don't think in this day and age,
- 14:48I think that state would be like I'm gonna go ahead and step down because
- 14:54we need to have younger blood come in. Like that's that would be his
- 14:58exit move. Yeah, it would also they'll be interesting. I think he
- 15:03pulled more of an Elon Musk and go you don't want to advertise sleep you
- 15:09And that's really the two directions that you have as the head of you know,
- 15:13sort of an empire. These days, it's either double double middle fingers
- 15:16f you like the Elon Musk style therefore, you know, basically throwing a
- 15:20grenade into your own business, or you do the you know, the this
- 15:26quote unquote stand up thing and you apologize and maybe even step down. I'd
- 15:31still, though, would love to see Walt Disney's face if he was pulled
- 15:35out of the past into the present, to see the Disney porn that's been
- 15:39made of his preus. I'm sure this company was behind it. Yeah,
- 15:46when you when you, when you, when all those male illustrators are putting
- 15:50funny things in the clouds, clearly it was time for a chick. Yeah,
- 15:54I mean the cover of Aladdin was pulled because the guy who got fired
- 16:00decided to draw penises as the towers because he was let go, and they
- 16:04still they told him he was getting fired, and then they still let him
- 16:07illustrate the cover of Aladdin, the original one, and so if you can
- 16:12find that, it's worth a fortune. But he's just like, oh,
- 16:15okay, you guys are gonna be dicks to me. Here's a bunch of
- 16:18dicks. And that's the reason why we also were not allowed to say goodbye
- 16:25when the format flipped at the Eagle. I'm not wrong. You're listening to

- 17:18sweet radical. That's Dan Saint Germain this Friday and Saturday, March first and

- 17:45inspection. Give the man a call eight three to three. Cook DFW.
- 17:48The website to take a look at all the great work that they do is
- 17:51of course cookdfw dot com. Hail season is upon us in North Texas at
- 17:56least, the really really active portion of hale's season is upon us. I
- 18:00mean at this point, hill season's year round. And how many how many
- 18:06hail events do we see in Texas each year? We had over eleven hundred
- 18:11one inch storms are larger, so I mean so one inch or larger storms.
- 18:15We had over eleven hundred in the state of Texas last year, and
- 18:18each of those storms usually have a pretty considerable amount of damage. So we
- 18:25had one here near Allen, we had one near McKennon and Plano last year.
- 18:29I think the one in Alan I was talked about had over two hundred
- 18:32thousand homes and it was close to almost two and a half billion dollars in
- 18:37damage. If the hail damage lingers on your roof and it doesn't get repaired
- 18:41and then you start having leaks, what happens to the inside of your home.
- 18:45So the twenty five thousand dollars roof that they're paying for becomes fifty thousand
- 18:49dollars of interior damage or one hundred thousand dollars of interior damage. And so
- 18:53that's why it's so important have your roofs looked at and checked out and replaced
- 18:57when you have to. It's not a matter of if. It really is
- 19:02a matter of when you're going to have a significant enough hail event to either
- 19:07do serious damage to the roof or a complete and total loss of that roof.
- 19:11And so that's why it makes sense to make sure you get that free
- 19:15roof inspection from Daniel Cook and Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration, because the last
- 19:18thing you want to do is is have the shield that is protecting your home

- 21:07you guys today that I need to make a quick note about because I saw
- 21:12it when I was going to the bathroom earlier, and this is one of
- 21:15the things I need to write done so I remember it. Sure, all
- 21:23right, there's very important Star Wars information to share with you too. But
- 21:27first birthdays today is as I mentioned earlier, Fredy March first, twenty twenty
- 21:37fourth, the day after Leap Day. Good for us every four years we
- 21:41made made it to another leap year, well most of us. Did I
- 21:45know of you that didn't? Look We all deal with We all deal with
- 21:52pain and tragedy in different ways. In the treehouse. It's usually with very
- 21:56very sharp making fun of it. Yes, So birthdays today for Friday,
- 22:03March first, twenty twenty four. Where did I put the birthdays there?
- 22:08Today? Justin Bieber turned thirty. Remember, not that long ago he was
- 22:15some weird Canadian kid with a good voice and a sweet soul. And now
- 22:19he's covered head to toe with tattoos and he's married to a Baldwin and he's
- 22:23like super super religious. Now where did that come from? Because he opened
- 22:30up so much Baldwin because he's married to the daughter of the religious nut.
- 22:38Oh, is that Stephen Baldwin's daughter. So Hailey Baldwin or Haley Bieber,
- 22:42Now that's Stephen Baldwin, the religious Baldwin's daughter. That's my I believe.
- 22:47So, yeah, that's why. That's why he got so he got so
- 22:51Jesus up. Yeah, So that means finally Stephen Baldwin got a brother who
- 22:56likes him. Know about that, but at least at least have to push
- 23:06someone around. He's he used to come into the laugh Factory all the time
- 23:10and he was just such a dick, like it was so hard to be
- 23:14around him. Baldwin, No, no, Justin Bieber. Oh would come
- 23:18in all the time and he would I watched it where he would call have
- 23:25his people call paparazzi to let them know where he was, and then he
- 23:27would go out and create a storm about why he can't be left alone and
- 23:32this, that and the other. And I was like, I just watched
- 23:34it, but that's and I don't I don't know why Ever's I mean,
- 23:38he is the original YouTube star, like, yeah, every everything about him
- 23:42is self promotion. So he's not. That's Tazon Day and Chocolate Rain.
- 23:49I don't remember Ta Day. Oh my god, I gotta I have to
- 23:52go through like YouTube school. How mean he hits? Does he have Chocolate
- 23:56Rain? Yes? They top any charts. Yeah, YouTube justin Bieber's uh
- 24:06being five years old and playing the drama. That thing has forty billion views.
- 24:10Yeah, he's the only thing that's pasted sneezing Panda. I can't believe
- 24:15you've never heard of it. Tazon Day. He followed me on on on
- 24:22Twitter once and I thought, oh my god, I made it. You
- 24:26really don't remember Chocolate Rain. All right, hang on, let me see
- 24:30if I can get the share screen thing to work for you guys. All
- 24:34right, Uh, there's probably gonna be a YouTube bat so bear with me
- 24:37here. Yes, share it that one. Share it with photo Vibrce.
- 24:45You can transform any photo into a short one though image and just a few
- 24:49clicks, simply drop your images. I forgotten about that chocolate. Read the
- 25:15school books say it can't be here again. Chocolate, So Trey, you
- 25:22remember this? I do. That's more of the on the William Hung side
- 25:26of things, Sir, what the hell's name was? Now? You you
- 25:30nailed it? No direct? Uh. Yeah, I'm so glad that I
- 25:40missed that. I'm so glad that skipped over me. I did not remember
- 25:45Chocolate Rain, but I do remember she bangs by William William Hung and no,
- 25:51buddy might just interviewed him and just ask him the first question about you
- 25:55know, the popularity and how the search and he answers him back and I'll
- 25:57see if I can find it till he can play it. He just goes,
- 26:00where's your accent go? Because he doesn't have that. He's been interviewed
- 26:06so many times. I guess dial it code whatever it is. That's the
- 26:11next question. Just goes, so you can tell me about you know,
- 26:12the popularity and what happened, you know, right after that happened. He
- 26:15just starts to answer the question. You can see my buddy Pek just looking
- 26:18at him and goes, where's your accent go? It's gotta be freaky,
- 26:25especially if it happens mid interview. The second question, Okay, Chocolate Rain,
- 26:30I that's gonna get posted on my Instagram today. And for the record,
- 26:37that right there is the reason why we still do birthdays in the Treehouse
- 26:41because all I did was mentioned justin Bieber turning thirty and we ended up with
- 26:45Tazon day Uh singing chocolate Rain from back in the day on YouTube. That's
- 26:51wild. We need we need to have him on as a guest. I'll
- 26:56see if I can search see my followers listen dm him also celebrating a birthday
- 27:00today. And someone who also is has known to uh gone viral at least
- 27:06once. That is Kesha. She is thirty seven to day. And I
- 27:11say that she went viral and viral viral thought everybody knew that. Yeah,
- 27:22it's not it's yep. Uh. The other way that she's been viral that
- 27:29I'm aware of is a run in she had with you know, while Kesha
- 27:33is famous, she's a famous singer, she's not more famous than Jerry's Seinfeld.
- 27:40And there was an incident about six or seven years ago with her on
- 27:44the red carpet where she ran up to Jerry Seinfeld and said, oh my
- 27:48God, I love you. Will you please give me a hug? And
- 27:49this is when I asked, You're like, anytime you want to charge it
- 27:52to you just plug it in because it's hard to just sleep when you're tired,
- 27:56because people are tired most of the time. Oh thanks, no thanks,
- 28:02no thanks, yeah, no thanks. I don't know who that was.
- 28:11Okay, that's my favorite part at the end. Oh okay, well
- 28:17I wish you're the best. It's funny anytime she gets brought up. The
- 28:25only thing I can remember is Billy the Kid talking about how bad she smelled.
- 28:27Yes, there was a I was gonna bring it up. It's really
- 28:30but there's a producer in New York that said in an interview that she smelled
- 28:36like a dirty diaper filled with onions. Maybe that's why Jerry Seinfeld didn't want
- 28:41to hug her. Yes, when we first played the audio back when we
- 28:45were on the radio six seven years ago when this happened, we didn't have
- 28:51that information. Now it makes sense, Jerry Seinfeld, you know immediately,
- 28:55let's let's let's listen to it again, and let's watch a little bit as
- 28:57well. You can see him recoiled, and I assumed it was because he
- 29:00was like, oh my god, this could be a crazy fan coming after
- 29:03me, when in reality, it may just be because she smells really,
- 29:08really awful. Yeah, one second, you just plug it in because it's
- 29:18hard to just sleep when you're tired watching recoil. No thanks, no,
- 29:26thanks, yeah, thanks. That's where he got a whiff of her.
- 29:32That's on that's on her teens. Like bathe, you just got rejected by
- 29:37Jerry Seinfeld for a hug. You smell terrible. It's time for a bath.
- 29:44But I mean, like, I don't expect Jerry Seinfeld to know Kesha.
- 29:47It's like Ed O'Neill took a picture with was it Britney Spears and didn't
- 29:51know who she was? Oh, Ed O'Neil from married with children and modern
- 29:56family. But he was at an airport and Britney Spear just came to get
- 30:00a picture to go sure, and then sent it to his granddaughter or something,
- 30:03and she goes, do you know who that was? Britney Spears?
- 30:07No, it wasn't that. It was his granddaughter sent that to him.
- 30:11It's like, oh my god, I can't believe you took a picture with
- 30:12Brittany. And he's like, I don't know who that is. Oh that's
- 30:15right, okay, So yeah, is it possible though? And this this
- 30:21might be, you know, just trying to find an excuse for Ed O'Neil
- 30:23is it possible that she herself at the time didn't realize she was Brittany.
- 30:32This is pretty crazy. This was pretty shaved the head, Brittany peak popular.
- 30:37I think I thought it was. I thought it was after all.
- 30:38Well, first of all, I'm not sure that shaving the head really was.
- 30:44Like I don't know that there wasn't crazy long before then, but I
- 30:47pretty I thought this was after that. Now I think, I think this
- 30:51is where we need to lean into Trey's expertise with crazy women. And oh,
- 30:55that's true that I think. I think, Trey, you may be
- 30:57onto something. I think when when Britney Spears shaved her head, I don't
- 31:02think that was the first sign of crazy. Is that what you're saying?
- 31:06That is indeed what I'm saying. And you know, here's what I and
- 31:10the post post the videos of her and that devil costume, and you're going,
- 31:15maybe that conservatorship was a good idea. The Dancing Knives thing was the
- 31:22that's when it was like, but here's what we should pull up the picture
- 31:26of Ed O'Neill and just have Trey look into her eyes and see just how
- 31:30crazy she is. Oh, I've looked, I've stared long and le into
- 31:34those crazy eyes. It's an abyss of crazy and you're in love, aren't
- 31:41you? She said, Oops, I did it again. And then really
- 31:49turns you on when she said I'm a slave for you, and you responded
- 31:52by saying, yeah you are. You're in the tree house. Visit us
- 32:01online at Treehouseonair dot com. Let's get Jacqueline from Brooks Plumbing into the tree
- 32:15House now for a fun visit. Their number for any and all of your
- 32:20plumbing once and needs is, of course two one, four, three six
- 32:22eight thirty eight thirty eight the website Brooks Plumbing, Texas dot com. Jacqueline,
- 32:28We've got an issue at our house on Saint Thomas. One of our
- 32:30tenants is complaining of a smell coming from the bathroom. They think it might
- 32:35be like a mouldymildewy, funky sulfree type smell. So what do we need
- 32:40to do this one? But it's only in the one bathroom. It's nowhere
- 32:45else, not in the kitchen. The only we've had is from that bathroom.
- 32:49Our other two tenants have said nothing. You know, that's I'm like
- 32:52a big fire person. To me, that's a little fire and I'm not
- 32:55gonna lie. What I'm gonna tell you would just be me making something up.
- 32:59And so that's why I employ licensed plumbers because they know better than I
- 33:02do. If I had to take a stab in the dark, I would
- 33:07say that there's a possibility that the air raidors have just caught gunk. If
- 33:10it's and here's my question, is it just at one fixture. Is it
- 33:14at both the sink and the shower or just one or the other. We
- 33:17don't know because hear me out. If it's at both and it's not affecting
- 33:22anywhere else in the house, I would be concerned, especially if they're around
- 33:27the first floor, that there's a possibility of a leak and maybe nasty stuff
- 33:30is getting into the water in between the water line and that one particular bathroom.
- 33:36But if it's just at one fixture and not the other, it might
- 33:38be you have that corrosion, just build up of minerals in fixtures, and
- 33:43sometimes they just get old and you need to replace them. Sometimes there might
- 33:46be gunk and like you need to clean the air rator. But that's me
- 33:50guessing from the office with very limited fixture field experience. So that's why I
- 33:54would send you a plumber, so we would be requesting first class place tickets
- 34:00and like a PERDM to send them to the island. Sure, I have
- 34:04to go to to manage the project, so let me know when you're ready.
- 34:07Understood, That's how much we love Jacqueline, and not just Jaqueline,

- 35:06you know you have the right ones. Rooks Plumbing Texas dot com. See
- 35:13if there was any other worthwhile birthdays that needed mentioning a Kesha thirty seven.
- 35:22There's a couple of decent ones, but there's so much other good stuff to
- 35:24talk about today, so let's do that instead. Like, I feel like
- 35:36a rich man because AT and T is giving me a five dollars credit because
- 35:39of the outage last week that we still don't know what the cause was other
- 35:45than them saying, oh, it was coding. It was a coding issue.
- 35:52So are bad your service was out for a chunk of the day and
- 35:57to make up for that, we're going to give you five dollars, which,
- 36:00according to AT and T is about the average cost of an AT and
- 36:04T plan per day. Oh gotcha? Okay, yeah, And I'm not
- 36:08even with AT and T and when they as but as an Indian when they
- 36:12said it was a coding issue on like sons of pitches, No it wasn't
- 36:19my people don't mess up like that. I assume it was some middle manager
- 36:22who tripped over a plug in the server room and didn't realize it like it
- 36:29was somebody's birthday. They brought cake into the server room. They shouldn't have
- 36:32tripped over it because they spilled their punch or something, and that's how we
- 36:36ended up with an outage for half the goddamn day. Luka, You think
- 36:42people's birthday in the corporate world is like Elementary is going with cake and punch?
- 36:46It is? It absolutely is that. That's I mean, there's a
- 36:52reason why the movie office space resonated with so many people, which, by
- 36:55the way, that movie's twenty five years old now, I think it was
- 36:58just like the other day it celebrates it's twenty fifth anniversary, which I'll make
- 37:02you feel old, especially when you go back and realize not only you know
- 37:06how old that movie now is, which means how old I am now,
- 37:10but also remembering that that opening scene was shot on six thirty five in Dallas,
- 37:15and that old man is still trying to walk to wherever he's going.
- 37:22I like to think that that wasn't even an extra, that was just an
- 37:25actual guy who just crept onto the set and maybe left him. There is
- 37:31some important breaking news though that I do need to mention to you. I
- 37:35know, it's a Friday, it's supposed to be. You know, all
- 37:37of our shows are lighthearted and fun and funny and stupid. But there is
- 37:42something very very serious that we need to discuss. And that is the news
- 37:45I saw right before we started up the show today, a frightening announcement out
- 37:54of Disney and Star Wars, and that is actor Ahmed Best said that he
- 38:00is once again working on some type of project with Star Wars. And if
- 38:07you don't know the name Ahmed Best, the actor, you do know the
- 38:09character that he played, which is very, very volatile and it sparks a
- 38:19lot of furor in fans. He plays jar Jar Binks, and so that
- 38:23means Star Wars is finding a way to bring jar Jar Binks back into the
- 38:27fold. And I can't believe this would be a good idea on any level
- 38:32unless it's specifically for a child's program somewhere at another galaxy, or they kill
- 38:42off jar Jar Binks. That would be awesome. That's the one and only
- 38:46acceptable way people of our generation will accept jar Jar back into the fold.
- 38:52Yeah, it would have to be like it would almost have to be Deadpool
- 38:54style where it's you know, he goes back and he's out of Wolverine.
- 39:00I gotta write the timeline boom. You know now that now that Marvel is
- 39:07owned by Disney and Marvel has reacquired the twentieth century Fox rights, therefore the
- 39:15X Men stuff you could have. Maybe they do it in the new Deadpool
- 39:19movie where they go back and then kill off certain characters that they didn't have
- 39:22the ability to kill off before, which maybe includes jar Jart. Maybe that's
- 39:27the thing that I'm that best was teasing saying, hey, I'm back doing
- 39:30some jar Jar stuff, and maybe it's a cameo where he just gets absolutely
- 39:36sliced to shreds by Deadpool and Wolverine all at the same time. It's a
- 39:43bit of a fever dream for me clearly that I'm having in this moment.
- 39:46So, uh, yeah, I'm very excited about that possibility. Yeah,
- 39:52I actually think that is the one way if you could sell jar Jar binks
- 39:58and actually have a box off is hit, they really could just like,
- 40:04uh, there could be zero story, zero plot in the New Deadpool Wolverine
- 40:08movie. If they just had a poster of the two of them side by
- 40:12side, which they kind of already do, but then at the bottom it
- 40:14just says Jar Jar gets it, Boom, I'm there. That that could
- 40:17just be the movie. It'd be like forty five seconds long. Yeah,
- 40:21and you'd have a whole generation of Star Wars fans that just now felt like
- 40:24some closure of the Phantom Menace, of the trauma that caused that. I
- 40:34would that'd be the first standing ovation I give a Star Wars movie in ten
- 40:37years. Although I will say this in hindsight and going back and watching them
- 40:44again, those first three because of the last three, the first three not
- 40:47not near as bad as we thought we were talking they were the worst talking
- 40:51about you're talking talking about one, two and three, Phantom Menace, Clone
- 40:54Wars whatever, you know, Yeah, uh yeah, compared to the last
- 40:59three, the the post seven, eight and nine, those made one,
- 41:04two and three look like epic you know movies. They look great. They
- 41:08are great. I'll have to check it out because they that's the that's the
- 41:13movie that they lost me on is with with the Phantom Menace with George Arbings
- 41:16or whatever. That's right, have you seen the last three seven, eight
- 41:20and nine, I have not. Oh no, you have to watch those.
- 41:25Yeah, through those, I just that's what I lost. I was
- 41:30like, this is so terrible, Like I don't know who's who who screened
- 41:35this and went he's a great character, Like it was George Lucas. I
- 41:42mean, I know when he could do whatever he wanted was his studio,
- 41:45and he's like, he decides he's gonna make a movie with a with a
- 41:47really stupid child's character in it to sell some toys. By god, he's
- 41:51gonna do it, and he did. Yeah, And I just was I
- 41:53was out on that. I was like, I'm not watching any more of
- 41:55these. I think a lot of that. I think everyone's kind of visceral
- 42:00reaction was the ever you were comparing it to the three that we grew up
- 42:05on, four, five, and six, and it was such a departure
- 42:08and so different. But again, especially after seven eight nine, you go
- 42:12back and watch those first three, they're not bad. They're actually pretty good.
- 42:16Okay, but you have to you have to have to suffer through the
- 42:21last three in order to appreciate that the first three aren't aren't nearly as bad
- 42:25as we thought. Maybe it's our fault. Maybe it's our fault because maybe
- 42:30Star Wars told us from the beginning what to expect, because it was the
- 42:35first three movies that came out that was us being pulled into the Force,
- 42:40into the good side, the Jedi side, and then everything with the exception
- 42:45of Rogue One that came after it was the progression of Disney slash Star Wars
- 42:50slash lucasfilms pulling us into the dark side of the Force by offering up nothing
- 42:54but suffering in the cinematic form. Yeah, there's also the argument that,
- 43:01you know, the books were written when the movies were the original movies were
- 43:06made. Lucas George four chose four, five, and six because they were
- 43:08the three good book books. Yeah, the Restless Story sucked, but we'll
- 43:20always have the Christmas Special. There is Uh, there was something I wanted
- 43:30to tell you guys about today besides the jar Jar stuff, that ties into
- 43:36something we talked about not that long ago, just a few episodes ago.
- 43:40We had discussed on the show about how perhaps there is a relation, you
- 43:47know, that maybe there's a cause for dementia in men that we had not
- 43:52realized, and that was masturbation because maybe, just maybe it wasn't the fact
- 44:00that that would make you go blind as a teenager, but instead will the
- 44:04more you do it as a teenager, you will lose your mind as an
- 44:08adult sooner. Wait wait, I'm sorry. I wasn't talking about as a
- 44:14teenager, and continued self mutilation as an adult makes makes the effects even more
- 44:24pronounced, according according to Trey's theory. Oh gotcha, Okay, I was
- 44:30wondering why I said I'll be I'll be a blank slate by sixty mm hmm.
- 44:34Dan's half a blank slate now, So I just wondering what's going on?
- 44:38Well, hang on, there's there is good news because it turns out
- 44:44that viagra may help lower the risk of Alzheimer's disease. That's according to a
- 44:49new study. So they get you coming in going. He's got a rock
- 44:55hard memory, that's all. That's awesome. You could remember that you're impotent.
- 45:07Man, having a memory sucks getting old rocks. I'll tell you what,
- 45:23though, no one's gonna want to be our room. He's in the
- 45:25nursing home. Oh thanks for hanging out with us in the treehouse today.
- 45:35Be sure to join us again on Monday inside the Treehouse, which also includes
- 45:39the Treehouse Plus program. I happen to know that in the Treehouse Plus episode
- 45:46that we will be discussing the possibility of an O'Malley goat farm. So yay
- 45:52for you and for me. If you called it, wait, you called
- 46:00it. Yeah, I thought I'm sorry. I thought wait, damn,
- 46:06I thought you were putting your foot down. Turn turns out I should have
- 46:08put a hoof that floor, a little, a little hollow. See you
- 46:19next time in the tree
