- 0:02Speaker 1: Two teas in a pod with Teddy Meloncamps and Tambrad Judge. Hi, guys,
- 0:15Speaker 1: welcome to this week's to Cheese and a Pod. We
- 0:18Speaker 1: are so excited to have samuels. It's myself, Teddy Meloncamp
- 0:22Speaker 1: and Tambra Judge. She's so freaking adorable. I can't stand it. Um.
- 0:27Speaker 1: I cannot wait to hear all of her hot takes
- 0:30Speaker 1: and she is the best at her one liner, so
- 0:33Speaker 1: I can't wait to bring her on. So excited. Hello, Hey, hey,
- 0:38Speaker 1: beautiful beauties. Good, how are you for coming on? Definitely
- 0:45Speaker 1: thanks for having me. We appreciate it well. And first
- 0:49Speaker 1: I have to give you a little bit of a
- 0:51Speaker 1: hard time because now you got me hooked onto a
- 0:53Speaker 1: new show. Yes, Love and Marriage d C on the over.
- 0:58Speaker 1: I am so hooked because I have never seen relationships
- 1:04Speaker 1: so openly talked about on reality television. Let me tell you,
- 1:08Speaker 1: I had to be even more vulnerable so that everybody
- 1:12Speaker 1: else can loosen up. I was like, I'm gonna just
- 1:15Speaker 1: put all my business out there. After after Potomac, were
- 1:19Speaker 1: you afraid to do the show? I know? How did
- 1:21Speaker 1: you do this? So the difference between this and Potomac
- 1:25Speaker 1: is that I'm a very bubbly, high energy person. I
- 1:28Speaker 1: don't like being in situations where I'm expected to argue
- 1:32Speaker 1: or expected to have beef or has my guard up
- 1:35Speaker 1: as soon as I walk into a room. Right, So
- 1:38Speaker 1: with this show, it's more about it's not about the
- 1:41Speaker 1: girl's circle, it's about the marriages. It's about family business.
- 1:45Speaker 1: And then you have the girl's circles, the guy's circles,
- 1:48Speaker 1: the intimate conversations, the group settings. Like it's such a
- 1:52Speaker 1: full show and everybody that's on this show is bringing
- 1:56Speaker 1: their own story, their own relevancy, their own you know everything.
- 2:00Speaker 1: So it's really nice. I love I mean every single one.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You're invested, Like I'm I'm even like, what's what's what
- 2:07Speaker 1: did little Jamie do? What's going on? What's this? Like?
- 2:11Speaker 1: I am so thick into it, but I don't understand
- 2:14Speaker 1: this is my I'm even seeing a different side to Chris. Okay,
- 2:19Speaker 1: I feel like I'm potomac. He was so reserved. Yeah,
- 2:23Speaker 1: and you're scared, but you're saying like one b laugh
- 2:27Speaker 1: you guys laughing together and like having those fun moments,
- 2:31Speaker 1: but you're also seeing like real marriage. How did you
- 2:34Speaker 1: guys get to that point? So with Chris, with Potomac,
- 2:39Speaker 1: you know, it's not really a focus on the ment really.
- 2:42Speaker 1: And then one thing you got to understand about Chris
- 2:44Speaker 1: is that he comes from the NFL world. They are
- 2:47Speaker 1: taught to basically present themselves in a certain way, and
- 2:51Speaker 1: he's old school NFL. So he's not like these young
- 2:54Speaker 1: guys that's all the social media acting a fool. He
- 2:56Speaker 1: is the guy who if they had a bad game
- 2:59Speaker 1: and the quarterbacks stunk it up him as a lineman,
- 3:02Speaker 1: he's gonna go into his interview and he's gonna put
- 3:04Speaker 1: it on himself. He's gonna say, well, we could have
- 3:06Speaker 1: did a better job, but it's up to the lineman
- 3:08Speaker 1: to hold it down so that the quarterback and do
- 3:10Speaker 1: their job. He's gonna give you that politically correct commentary.
- 3:14Speaker 1: So when we started Potomac, everything was about being politically
- 3:18Speaker 1: correct for him and me. I don't roll like that,
- 3:21Speaker 1: Like I'm always gonna just be me whether you like
- 3:24Speaker 1: it or not, at least you know you're getting me.
- 3:27Speaker 1: So Housewives is not politically correct at all, right, And
- 3:31Speaker 1: Chris was trying. He tried. When he got to the end,
- 3:33Speaker 1: he got a little bit more comfortable. Um In a
- 3:36Speaker 1: little bit more open. But this time around with the
- 3:39Speaker 1: focus being on the men and the women, I'm like, dude,
- 3:42Speaker 1: you gotta open up like you got to. So do
- 3:46Speaker 1: you think this is gonna become a franchise? Like? Are
- 3:48Speaker 1: we gonna have one in Orange County and Beverly Hills
- 3:52Speaker 1: as well? I think so. So right now we're actually
- 3:55Speaker 1: the second of the Love and Marriage franchise. It just
- 3:58Speaker 1: became one. So Huntsville has been holding it down. They
- 4:01Speaker 1: they are on their fourth season, So Love and Marriage
- 4:04Speaker 1: and still kicked it off. And now we have d
- 4:07Speaker 1: C and I'm hearing rumors that other franchises coming. So
- 4:13Speaker 1: and this is Carlos. Carlos King is the producer right
- 4:16Speaker 1: who we recently had on the pod. I love him.
- 4:18Speaker 1: We talked all the time. Is he amazing? He's amazing, amazing?
- 4:24Speaker 1: So what would you say the biggest difference between filming
- 4:27Speaker 1: Potomac and filming Love and Marriage? They were the production
- 4:31Speaker 1: was a fly on the wall. They literally would just
- 4:35Speaker 1: set up and I sometimes I don't even know we're rolling,
- 4:39Speaker 1: you know, like I'm walking through the kitchen and I
- 4:42Speaker 1: got my bathroom and I'm like, oh, okay, so all right,
- 4:45Speaker 1: you know, let um pretty much a fly on the wall,
- 4:49Speaker 1: rarely interrupted, like, so they just kind of let us
- 4:52Speaker 1: go and just let us be. There was nothing contrived.
- 4:55Speaker 1: There was no like, hey, go in here and make
- 4:58Speaker 1: this spicy, make this scene lighten up. Oh, none of that.
- 5:01Speaker 1: It was just we're just watching y'all, very laid back.
- 5:04Speaker 1: The whole mood was just so like it was just
- 5:08Speaker 1: it was different. It was really different, like you almost
- 5:11Speaker 1: forgot you were being filmed. Yes, Like I I never
- 5:14Speaker 1: really pay attention to the cameras anyway. I know what
- 5:17Speaker 1: camera is my camera, Like, I'm like, okay, I'm camera
- 5:20Speaker 1: camera b okay, so I'll know when i'm when i'm
- 5:22Speaker 1: talking to make sure I'm looking in that direction. But
- 5:25Speaker 1: once I got my camera, I'm not paying you no
- 5:27Speaker 1: mind anymore. It's just in the back of my head.
- 5:29Speaker 1: But this time around, everybody else was able to be
- 5:32Speaker 1: more comfortable because there wasn't interruption. There wasn't like phones
- 5:36Speaker 1: being held up, you know, it was just talk, you know.
- 5:40Speaker 1: So it was nice. Well, I went back and watched Potomac.
- 5:44Speaker 1: We both did, we ourselves, and I watched the fight,
- 5:49Speaker 1: you know, the fight, and the only thing I can
- 5:52Speaker 1: see was James. You know, the producer James James used
- 5:56Speaker 1: to work in Orange County. So I'm like James James.
- 5:59Speaker 1: That's all I could That's all I can look at
- 6:01Speaker 1: that when I tell you, he holds me down. So
- 6:08Speaker 1: James and I when I came to Potomac, that was
- 6:11Speaker 1: his first season at Potomac. So he was my producer.
- 6:15Speaker 1: So we just made magic happen together. And I love
- 6:18Speaker 1: James because he's always about the real. He's always the
- 6:22Speaker 1: genuine So he was he was a great producer. We
- 6:24Speaker 1: had him one season, I think, but I still keep
- 6:27Speaker 1: in touch with him. Now. When that happened, that went down,
- 6:31Speaker 1: did you get did you get it talking to? Oh?
- 6:35Speaker 1: Of course, but you know what I'm talking to was
- 6:37Speaker 1: my talking to? Was I quit? Yes? When I talked
- 6:41Speaker 1: to the executives right after that fight happened. The next day,
- 6:45Speaker 1: I told them, I said, I am done. I said,
- 6:47Speaker 1: I did not come here for this. I said, this
- 6:49Speaker 1: is getting me out of my character. I'm a person
- 6:52Speaker 1: who was pretty much in control of myself. And I said,
- 6:55Speaker 1: this is just not good for me. I said, I
- 6:57Speaker 1: I just I said, I'm sorry to the network. I'm
- 6:59Speaker 1: sorry to you know, production. I said, but I don't
- 7:02Speaker 1: want to do this anymore. And they basically were just like, well, no,
- 7:06Speaker 1: don't say that. No, hold on. After they did all
- 7:09Speaker 1: of the talking about like you can't put your hands,
- 7:12Speaker 1: you can't do this, you can't, I said, listen, I've
- 7:14Speaker 1: learned that in kindergarten. I know you're not supposed to
- 7:16Speaker 1: put your hands on people. I know this, I said.
- 7:19Speaker 1: But what I'm telling you is, if it's that big
- 7:21Speaker 1: deal to you, let me go. Yeah. No, that's I
- 7:26Speaker 1: told my quit. How did you end up filming more
- 7:28Speaker 1: episodes though? Because yeah, they basically were like once they
- 7:33Speaker 1: heard me just like I'm done. They were like, hold on, wait, no,
- 7:36Speaker 1: don't say that. And they have a contract. You have
- 7:39Speaker 1: a contract. You have to fill the contract, right, Yes,
- 7:42Speaker 1: but they told me, they said, um, whatever makes you
- 7:46Speaker 1: comfortable to continue to feeling. So if you don't want
- 7:49Speaker 1: to be I told him, I said, I'm not going
- 7:50Speaker 1: on a cash trip. I'm not trying to be around
- 7:52Speaker 1: the women, I said, because at the end of the day,
- 7:55Speaker 1: they had their whole perception of what happened with the
- 7:58Speaker 1: fight and their whole on it, and I had mine.
- 8:01Speaker 1: And my whole thing was if you can hit me
- 8:03Speaker 1: with a glass, you can hit me with the bottle.
- 8:05Speaker 1: So I'm not gonna ever be in the same room
- 8:07Speaker 1: as you ever again. And I'm not going to be
- 8:10Speaker 1: around these women. So they said, you can film with
- 8:13Speaker 1: whoever you feel comfortable filming with and take a step
- 8:15Speaker 1: back and we'll just focus on your personal story as
- 8:18Speaker 1: you navigate the aftermath of this. So once they said that,
- 8:21Speaker 1: I said, Okay, cool, I'll finish out and then we'll
- 8:24Speaker 1: see what happens, you know, And was there anyone that
- 8:27Speaker 1: surprised you, Like, there's that scene where you're with Karen
- 8:30Speaker 1: and Robin and Giselle and you're all talking and I
- 8:34Speaker 1: feel like I actually really had your back. Fast, Yes,
- 8:38Speaker 1: actually had my back. Karen had my back. Who surprised me,
- 8:41Speaker 1: honestly was Wendy because she called me after the fight
- 8:45Speaker 1: and checked on me, and she made a comment like,
- 8:49Speaker 1: I knew when I looked into your eyes, it reminds
- 8:51Speaker 1: me of when I was in high school. I know
- 8:52Speaker 1: I used to get into fights. That's what she said
- 8:55Speaker 1: to me on the phone, And then she retracted all
- 8:57Speaker 1: of that as if she didn't say it and totally
- 9:00Speaker 1: just like was complete opposite in her delivery when we
- 9:03Speaker 1: sat down. When I talked to her right after the fight,
- 9:06Speaker 1: she was more understanding, like, I get it. I know
- 9:08Speaker 1: we have our moments. It sucks that it happened. She
- 9:11Speaker 1: was more so on like some just checking on you
- 9:14Speaker 1: to make sure you're good. Right. So do you think
- 9:16Speaker 1: she was doing that for a good TV? Oh? Once
- 9:18Speaker 1: we got around the women, they must have had a
- 9:19Speaker 1: good talking to, which I know they did. They actually
- 9:21Speaker 1: talked off camera and they had their united front, and
- 9:25Speaker 1: I guess their whole motive was like, oh, this is
- 9:27Speaker 1: the perfect opportunity to get her off the show. And
- 9:30Speaker 1: she jumped right on their bandwagon. And I remember telling
- 9:33Speaker 1: her several times. I said, they're gonna come for you next,
- 9:37Speaker 1: so you be ready. I told her this before. I love. Yeah,
- 9:41Speaker 1: you're too smart for the ship. Seriously, I mean, it's
- 9:45Speaker 1: happening all the time. It's not like this is like
- 9:48Speaker 1: an isolated incident. We've seen it on New Jersey, We're
- 9:51Speaker 1: seeing in other shows. I've actually had a scene where
- 9:54Speaker 1: I got so piste off that I couldn't even I
- 9:57Speaker 1: just saw red and somebody was talking about my daughter
- 10:00Speaker 1: and I went up to her and grabbed her and
- 10:03Speaker 1: like shook her and I got I got the talking to.
- 10:06Speaker 1: It happens. It happens because guess what, we're human, and
- 10:09Speaker 1: some people, well don't realize that the cameras won't save
- 10:12Speaker 1: you from reality. You know what I'm saying, Like, when
- 10:15Speaker 1: you are in a space where you get intense or
- 10:18Speaker 1: you get heated, you're gonna react like a person. Everybody
- 10:21Speaker 1: has the capacity of losing it. You know. Listen, how
- 10:26Speaker 1: many times do we hear stories of people doing things
- 10:29Speaker 1: and then you hear people who know them and say
- 10:30Speaker 1: they were the nicest person. I can't believe this, you know,
- 10:33Speaker 1: but I have respect for you because you're like, listen,
- 10:35Speaker 1: I can't deal with us. My emotions can't deal with it.
- 10:37Speaker 1: I'm out. But then, how do you feel like it's
- 10:41Speaker 1: going to be different on this show? On this show,
- 10:45Speaker 1: everybody is exposing themselves within their marriage and they're focusing
- 10:51Speaker 1: on that. And one thing that I told everybody, I said, look,
- 10:55Speaker 1: if something happens and it's out in the tabloids and
- 10:58Speaker 1: it's this big deal and it's prove been to be
- 11:00Speaker 1: true and we're talking about it on the show, that's
- 11:02Speaker 1: one thing. But what we're not gonna do is have
- 11:05Speaker 1: rumors and have things that are baseless, and we're gonna
- 11:09Speaker 1: make that into something. I'm like, that's not why we're here.
- 11:12Speaker 1: And you'll notice even in the situation my husband and
- 11:15Speaker 1: I on episode two get into a very heated argument
- 11:17Speaker 1: at the dinner table as well, tell you to hush, Yes,
- 11:21Speaker 1: told me to hush. We're gonna get talking to But
- 11:26Speaker 1: but even in that moment, you didn't see the other
- 11:29Speaker 1: couples getting nasty. Oh look at that. They didn't do
- 11:33Speaker 1: any of that. It was more like we've been there
- 11:35Speaker 1: before the judgment, wasn't there exactly? Yeah, that makes a
- 11:41Speaker 1: lot of sense. And how did you originally get on Potomac?
- 11:46Speaker 1: And then how did you feel when you actually left?
- 11:49Speaker 1: Like did you have that post show sadness or Okay,
- 11:55Speaker 1: you want the real story hog got on Potomac or
- 11:57Speaker 1: the I want the real story? We get every Okay.
- 12:02Speaker 1: So I was casted and although I was in the
- 12:05Speaker 1: same circles as the women on the show, I didn't
- 12:08Speaker 1: know any of them. So I was brought on as
- 12:11Speaker 1: Charisse's friend, although I knew her husband because my husband
- 12:16Speaker 1: and I used to go to the basketball games. Her
- 12:17Speaker 1: husband was the coach of the Wizards, and I knew
- 12:20Speaker 1: of her husband because of him being a coach. You know,
- 12:23Speaker 1: I honestly didn't even know he was married. But that's
- 12:26Speaker 1: how I got on the show, from just being casted.
- 12:28Speaker 1: And then when it came time to leave, you definitely,
- 12:32Speaker 1: I definitely felt Even though I decided to leave and
- 12:35Speaker 1: I quit, I still felt sad because it felt like
- 12:39Speaker 1: I was losing a piece of family that I had
- 12:42Speaker 1: bonded with for so many years. Because not everybody on
- 12:46Speaker 1: production was bad, you know, I had some really good
- 12:48Speaker 1: friendships with people exactly. Yeah, it's almost production who you
- 12:53Speaker 1: missed more than some of the women. Oh yeah, it's
- 12:56Speaker 1: kind it's kind of like a death because they're likest
- 12:59Speaker 1: and by the way, when they're done with you, they're dumb,
- 13:03Speaker 1: Like you don't you hardly hear from anybody. You're like, hello,
- 13:06Speaker 1: remember me? I was on the show years. They just
- 13:09Speaker 1: asked Monique to be on Watch what so this is
- 13:11Speaker 1: all over the press. We have talked about a little bit.
- 13:13Speaker 1: They just asked you to be on Watch What Happens Live? Right, No,
- 13:17Speaker 1: I don't know where the story is coming from. That
- 13:19Speaker 1: My gosh, that's not true. So let me tell you
- 13:21Speaker 1: so First of all, I still keep in touch with Andy.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Andy and I still text back and forth. He offered
- 13:25Speaker 1: for me to be in the Girl's Trip um the
- 13:28Speaker 1: season two Girls Trup. Why weren't you? You didn't told
- 13:31Speaker 1: him I was on it? I know, but you know
- 13:34Speaker 1: what I told him. It's not just it wasn't just
- 13:37Speaker 1: a Potomac thing of why I left. It was also
- 13:39Speaker 1: a network issue for me, you know. So I told him,
- 13:41Speaker 1: I said, I can't be on that network working ever again.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I just felt some type of way at that time,
- 13:47Speaker 1: and I still had some healing to do because I
- 13:50Speaker 1: really they did some really low down stuff behind. How
- 13:53Speaker 1: soon was it after you left Potomac that they asked
- 13:55Speaker 1: you be on Girls Truck? This was probably it was
- 14:00Speaker 1: six months. Yeah, it was still now were you and
- 14:03Speaker 1: talks to do the show you're on now? At that time? No,
- 14:07Speaker 1: I was talking to I talked to Carlos, but it
- 14:10Speaker 1: wasn't like it wasn't like a solidified deal. Yeah, and
- 14:14Speaker 1: me and Carlos had just been communicating just like friendly anyway. Um,
- 14:18Speaker 1: But that wasn't the reason I said no at all.
- 14:20Speaker 1: That the deal that I have now wasn't It didn't
- 14:23Speaker 1: exist when I talked to Andy at that time, so yeah,
- 14:27Speaker 1: but when I when I talked to him, um, he
- 14:31Speaker 1: said to me, and this was like way back. He said,
- 14:33Speaker 1: if you ever want to come and watch What Happens Live,
- 14:36Speaker 1: uh and promote anything that you're doing, I'm always here.
- 14:38Speaker 1: And I said, thank you, I appreciate it. This is
- 14:40Speaker 1: what's really weird. I talked to Andy right after he
- 14:44Speaker 1: had Lucy right, so I told him, I said, Hey,
- 14:48Speaker 1: now that I have the new show that I'm promoting,
- 14:50Speaker 1: I don't know if it'll be a conflict of interest,
- 14:52Speaker 1: but if you ever have room for me to come
- 14:54Speaker 1: and watch What Happens Live to promote my new show
- 14:57Speaker 1: and we can talk about some of the behind the
- 14:59Speaker 1: scenes that went down when I left. Because people think
- 15:02Speaker 1: I'm supposed to hate Andy, I said, let me know,
- 15:04Speaker 1: and he said, oh wow, that would be awesome. That
- 15:07Speaker 1: was the end of the conversation. He told me he
- 15:08Speaker 1: would let me know. Like a few days later, I
- 15:10Speaker 1: start seeing people posting about how I turned down watch
- 15:13Speaker 1: What Happens Life. I'm like, that's not that's not true.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Where do you think that came from. I have no idea.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I have no idea that that's why. It's like you
- 15:22Speaker 1: can't always believe what you read because it was everywhere.
- 15:24Speaker 1: All of a sudden, we're seeing I'm like, we have
- 15:26Speaker 1: Monique coming on. She's saying this io bra Io, Bravo nothing.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I'm like, but you may, oh, Bravo nothing. But if
- 15:31Speaker 1: you have do you have a good relationship with any
- 15:33Speaker 1: Clearly you do. Yes. And even my Bravo VP that
- 15:38Speaker 1: was over our show when I was on Potomac. He
- 15:40Speaker 1: even reached out to me and said, congrats on the
- 15:42Speaker 1: show we'll be watching. I'm proud of you. I still
- 15:45Speaker 1: have a good relationship with a lot of people. But
- 15:47Speaker 1: it was so weird because I was like, how crazy
- 15:50Speaker 1: is that. I didn't even tell anybody that I even
- 15:52Speaker 1: talked to Andy about the possible feel like going back
- 15:55Speaker 1: on watch What Happens Live. I didn't. I wanted it
- 15:58Speaker 1: to be a complete shock and surprised if we did
- 16:01Speaker 1: do it. So people started posting saying that I turned
- 16:04Speaker 1: it down, and I said, Bravo, I don't have nothing.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I've never said anything like that. Well, thanks for clearing
- 16:09Speaker 1: it up, because that makes lot of sense. Well, a
- 16:21Speaker 1: big fan question is one of your most iconic things,
- 16:25Speaker 1: was you bringing the binder to the reunion A girl.
- 16:30Speaker 1: I don't know if you still have the binder what
- 16:34Speaker 1: you did with that. It should be in the clubhouse
- 16:38Speaker 1: and you know what, I might go ahead and just
- 16:40Speaker 1: send it to Yes, I still have it, and I
- 16:43Speaker 1: actually did on my YouTube channel, I did a whole
- 16:46Speaker 1: series called Binder Time Stories where I spilled some of
- 16:49Speaker 1: the alleged t that was in my binder. Wants you
- 16:52Speaker 1: a very It was a very um uh brigardson Game
- 16:57Speaker 1: of Thrones kind of like you know, telling a story tale,
- 17:01Speaker 1: but but it was like an adult story tale. I
- 17:04Speaker 1: was outside by the fire like I'm reading a fire pit.
- 17:07Speaker 1: I need to I need to listen now. This is
- 17:09Speaker 1: still on your YouTube, Yes, and it's a it's like
- 17:12Speaker 1: very it's very theatrical, and it's hilariously shady. And it's
- 17:15Speaker 1: called binder Time Stories. It is three parts and it's
- 17:18Speaker 1: really good. I'm I'm gonna I'm gonna watch so good
- 17:21Speaker 1: and question because now I've invested. Are you doing the
- 17:24Speaker 1: morning show right now? Yes? Okay, yeah, congratulations, thank you.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I've been on radio since February twenty two, Look to Tony.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Tony two was my first day full time. Every day.
- 17:38Speaker 1: I've been up since four this morning, y'all, it's almost
- 17:41Speaker 1: two o'clock and I still have a lot of other
- 17:43Speaker 1: interviews to do afterwards. But I just I love it.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I wake up at four, I get to work. I'm
- 17:48Speaker 1: on air from six am the ten am. The energy
- 17:51Speaker 1: is amazing, my crew, our our show is epic. We
- 17:55Speaker 1: have so much fun and I love it. It's everything
- 17:58Speaker 1: that I was meant to do. Are you talking about?
- 18:01Speaker 1: So it's the morning show for our local area. We
- 18:04Speaker 1: talked about everything from just like local news, what's going
- 18:08Speaker 1: on in the world, and we try to bring the
- 18:10Speaker 1: fund to radio because a lot of times when it
- 18:13Speaker 1: comes to news, it's always depressing, you know, it's always
- 18:16Speaker 1: a bad story about somebody, that person. So we try
- 18:19Speaker 1: to pull in different topics that are fun and relatable
- 18:23Speaker 1: that talk about marriage. Like today, we actually talked about
- 18:26Speaker 1: the fact that condom list sex is on the rise,
- 18:29Speaker 1: and we asked our listeners, Yeah, at seven am, we're
- 18:33Speaker 1: asking our listeners they still use condoms? Oh what? And
- 18:38Speaker 1: do they? And some of them said no, some of
- 18:40Speaker 1: them said yes. Some of them were like, you know,
- 18:42Speaker 1: I'm married, I've been married, but even before I got married,
- 18:45Speaker 1: we weren't using condoms, and it's just it's funny, it's
- 18:49Speaker 1: really good. So I can't remember the last time I
- 18:51Speaker 1: use the condom. How about you? That's what I said.
- 18:53Speaker 1: I'm like maybe, I mean it's been a minute. I've
- 18:56Speaker 1: been at for thirteen years. Like, right, I did. I
- 19:02Speaker 1: didn't love condoms. I gotta be honest with me. But
- 19:05Speaker 1: he does. Right, More people these days are concerned about
- 19:09Speaker 1: having a baby from not using protection and actually, std
- 19:13Speaker 1: it's crazy. Oh a little herpes are I'm not pregnant,
- 19:18Speaker 1: A little dash A simple as I never heard anybody
- 19:22Speaker 1: bang it out. I've never heard anybody dying from it. Um,
- 19:26Speaker 1: I was also dying when shoot, I'm blanking who it was.
- 19:29Speaker 1: But on your new show where she was calling her armpit,
- 19:33Speaker 1: it looked like, let me tell you, well, Ashley's are
- 19:39Speaker 1: always fun. That Ashley on Rhop was fun and Ashley
- 19:43Speaker 1: Silva is something else. This woman is hilarious, Like she's
- 19:47Speaker 1: funny without even trying, and she had me rolling at
- 19:51Speaker 1: I just she's just so funny. And we just a
- 19:53Speaker 1: going to the ignorance, We just go back and so
- 19:56Speaker 1: it just makes it even more fun. Um. But yeah,
- 19:58Speaker 1: the ladies of the show are amazing. We have Ashley
- 20:01Speaker 1: Silva Rana Tyler. Uh, she is the veteran married woman
- 20:06Speaker 1: on the show, so she she is funny, she's super classy.
- 20:10Speaker 1: And then friend of the show Tasha Lance, who actually
- 20:12Speaker 1: I met because she used to do my hair on
- 20:15Speaker 1: Potomac and we it's amazing relationship. I hang out with
- 20:19Speaker 1: her daughter like we've been for years, and we all
- 20:23Speaker 1: get together as a family. And then we have Winter Williams,
- 20:26Speaker 1: who is staring up so much drama. Okay, I have
- 20:29Speaker 1: questions on this because I went deep down the rabbit
- 20:32Speaker 1: hole on of course she is, and it's really hard
- 20:35Speaker 1: to find information on her in the past. So I'm
- 20:38Speaker 1: trying to understand. So the guy that we're seeing Chris
- 20:43Speaker 1: eat with and the guy that is living in his
- 20:45Speaker 1: parents basement, that's not the guy she was married to
- 20:49Speaker 1: for fifteen years. That's just the one year guy. Correct,
- 20:53Speaker 1: But how does she know you from sixteen years ago?
- 20:56Speaker 1: So when Chris played, when Mike Chris played in the NFL,
- 21:00Speaker 1: I was a girlfriend. She was married to Chris, Chris's
- 21:04Speaker 1: teammate who she was married to for fifteen years. But
- 21:06Speaker 1: what is his name? Why can't I find this information.
- 21:09Speaker 1: His name is Walt Harris. Her last name was Harris.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Is this so hard to find on the interwebs? I'm like, why,
- 21:18Speaker 1: maybe because you don't have the because her her maiden name,
- 21:22Speaker 1: well her her previously married name was Harris, So it's
- 21:26Speaker 1: Winter Harris now she's Winter Williams because of her her
- 21:29Speaker 1: current marriage that she's still trying to get out of.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Walter Harris is who I need to get on the
- 21:37Speaker 1: horn with. She's You'll see. You'll see some information on
- 21:43Speaker 1: them as a couple. Did you know? Did you know
- 21:47Speaker 1: most of the girls going into this? I actually cast
- 21:51Speaker 1: in the show, so I know all of them. Of
- 21:52Speaker 1: course you do. I felt like the show is cast
- 21:55Speaker 1: around you. Yes, And that was the only reason I
- 21:57Speaker 1: did it, because at first Carlos asked me to do
- 22:00Speaker 1: what I said, no, I am not doing another ensemble.
- 22:02Speaker 1: He said, well, he called me back like two weeks later.
- 22:05Speaker 1: He said, well, listen, what if we build the show
- 22:08Speaker 1: around you and Chris and you sent me some couples. Okay, yeah,
- 22:12Speaker 1: I sent them about ten or twelve couples. And this
- 22:15Speaker 1: is what's funny. The two couples that the network decided
- 22:18Speaker 1: on were the two couples. I was pitching to r
- 22:21Speaker 1: H O. P Oh, how crazy crazy crazy couples. Yeah,
- 22:26Speaker 1: it was just meant to be. And then do you
- 22:27Speaker 1: still talk to anybody from r H O P. Yes,
- 22:31Speaker 1: I still talk to Karen and Ashley. The only didn't matter.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Will you ever make a cameo? No? No, even if
- 22:38Speaker 1: like that, No, No, I won't. I won't ever, not
- 22:43Speaker 1: for that production company and not for that that work.
- 22:45Speaker 1: The only, the only, the only thing you may see
- 22:48Speaker 1: me on would be watched What Happens Live? If if
- 22:50Speaker 1: they don't look at my show as competition, how don't
- 22:54Speaker 1: bring you after? Were you when you found out that
- 22:57Speaker 1: Ashley was finally leaving Michael? You know? I second, I
- 23:02Speaker 1: just saw them in Florida. We got together, like a
- 23:05Speaker 1: few months ago. Chris and I were in Florida and
- 23:07Speaker 1: we got together with with her and Michael, and I
- 23:10Speaker 1: knew that they were having issues the same way Chris
- 23:12Speaker 1: and I were having issues, But I didn't think that
- 23:14Speaker 1: it was like the end, So I don't think it
- 23:16Speaker 1: was the same way. A way after I think I
- 23:22Speaker 1: don't know there was let back that up, meaning meaning
- 23:28Speaker 1: you know how us women get together, We just kind
- 23:30Speaker 1: of complained like, you know, he's not seeing my side,
- 23:33Speaker 1: he's not hearing me out more so that type of talk.
- 23:36Speaker 1: So yeah, so I didn't realize it was like tumultuous.
- 23:41Speaker 1: I didn't realize it was like I'm done, I'm you know,
- 23:44Speaker 1: I didn't realize that. So where was there any truth
- 23:47Speaker 1: since we're talking about it, was there any truth to
- 23:49Speaker 1: the production but touching all of that ship? So not
- 23:54Speaker 1: to my knowledge. So the only thing I know is
- 23:56Speaker 1: that Michael is uh, he's a handsy, friendly, any guy.
- 24:01Speaker 1: But as far as anything that they have said in
- 24:03Speaker 1: the past about him, where they were trying to make
- 24:05Speaker 1: him like he assaulted somebody all that, I don't know
- 24:08Speaker 1: anything about that. To this day, people think that I
- 24:11Speaker 1: have recordings that I've hid and help wants to for Ashley,
- 24:17Speaker 1: like it is insane. I'm like, y'all gotta stop with
- 24:19Speaker 1: the conspiracy theories because listen here. If I had the footage,
- 24:23Speaker 1: I would have shown it, but I don't, and I
- 24:25Speaker 1: don't know that it actually happened. I really don't know.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. Okay, one other we have like three
- 24:32Speaker 1: more fan questions. One is about your parents, what's going on?
- 24:38Speaker 1: What's happening. Oh no, uh yeah, to Chola passed away
- 24:42Speaker 1: last year, but I first, and it's so crazy. It
- 24:46Speaker 1: was literally. The reason why I remember when I talked
- 24:48Speaker 1: to Andy about the Girl's trip is because it was
- 24:50Speaker 1: literally the next day I had I sent the video.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Andy and I were talking. I recorded a video of
- 24:56Speaker 1: to child on my shoulder and I said they had
- 24:59Speaker 1: to Andy. He shook his head. No, Andy, Andy said, oh,
- 25:03Speaker 1: he's still mad at me about the reunion. Yes, but yeah,
- 25:07Speaker 1: oh man, it has been very difficult because so Challa
- 25:10Speaker 1: was like he was like a sibling to my kids,
- 25:13Speaker 1: like my kids literally literally a week and a half ago,
- 25:16Speaker 1: my oldest son wrote down crying and I'm like, what's wrong,
- 25:19Speaker 1: and he said, I just missed the Challa And it
- 25:21Speaker 1: happened all the time you have him. I had him
- 25:24Speaker 1: for two years, since he was three months old, and
- 25:27Speaker 1: it was a crazy it was a just a it
- 25:31Speaker 1: was a tragic. Did he get COVID? Uh no, thank
- 25:36Speaker 1: god he didn't. But it was just it was insane
- 25:40Speaker 1: the way everything happened. And he oh my god, I'm
- 25:43Speaker 1: still I'm still not over it, and my kids keep
- 25:45Speaker 1: asking for another part and I'm just not my heart's
- 25:47Speaker 1: not ready and I'm such an animal lover, so I'm
- 25:49Speaker 1: willing to give you the four parakeets my dad sent
- 25:52Speaker 1: us for Easter. Nobody wants my front door, and I
- 26:00Speaker 1: was like, what the hell is going on? So it
- 26:04Speaker 1: was it was the best day of my life. When
- 26:06Speaker 1: my dog opened up the parakeet cage and they flew
- 26:09Speaker 1: out the window. It was the best day of my life.
- 26:13Speaker 1: It's different in Para. Oh yeah, well, if you change
- 26:16Speaker 1: your mind, you know, just send me a d M.
- 26:18Speaker 1: The parakeets are yours. Um, you're so kind, Teddy. You
- 26:23Speaker 1: know what. I'm a giver. I'm a giver. No you're not.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Oh not really? Um? And then what else is there
- 26:31Speaker 1: anything else you want to tease about you? I want
- 26:33Speaker 1: to ask you what you because as a fitness girl,
- 26:37Speaker 1: I see the shoulder caps, I see the biceps. Tell
- 26:41Speaker 1: me your workout. That's what I want to know. Tell
- 26:43Speaker 1: me your workout. Going to say she doesn't work out.
- 26:46Speaker 1: I already know. I don't. I don't. I'm gonna pull
- 26:50Speaker 1: your hair and slap you right now. Really genetics, genetics,
- 26:56Speaker 1: It's partly genetics and partly I actually were you, sir?
- 27:00Speaker 1: You were something I'm I'm vegetarian, so I don't eat
- 27:04Speaker 1: any meat. I'm boord inline vegan. I've been. They weren't
- 27:07Speaker 1: thrilled with the vegan like your house guests. No finished
- 27:11Speaker 1: watching episode three, you'll hear what their feedback was about
- 27:15Speaker 1: the vegan dinner. But it was the vegan dinner from hell,
- 27:17Speaker 1: not because you know, as a fitness expert, vegetarian diet
- 27:22Speaker 1: does not build muscle. So no, so that's why I
- 27:25Speaker 1: said partly genetic. So the muscle tone straight from my dad.
- 27:30Speaker 1: That's lovely. Do you know what I do for that
- 27:35Speaker 1: two hours? Listening heavy? Oh my gosh, I want to
- 27:39Speaker 1: hate you right now. I really want to hate you.
- 27:41Speaker 1: How tall are you? Oh? You're tall. She's taller. I
- 27:46Speaker 1: mean we're shorties. Were were? You probably don't remember this.
- 27:52Speaker 1: We actually bumped into each other in New York. You
- 27:54Speaker 1: were leaving the morning news and I was coming in.
- 27:57Speaker 1: It was it was like a high and I was
- 27:59Speaker 1: hid phase. Yeah, try to kiss you. We literally she
- 28:04Speaker 1: was coming off and I was going on. It was
- 28:06Speaker 1: like a rush, like we got a hurry up, and
- 28:08Speaker 1: I was just like her picture and then, oh my god, no,
- 28:11Speaker 1: I would have kissed her if I was drunk. I
- 28:16Speaker 1: love me a hot girl when I'm drunk. Oh, of
- 28:18Speaker 1: course you better watch out for yourself. I got like
- 28:21Speaker 1: a special muscles, like should her cap turns me on? Okay,
- 28:29Speaker 1: and we have to ask one more annoying question before
- 28:33Speaker 1: we leave you. I know you know it's always I'm
- 28:37Speaker 1: always the one that rundown and I'm just waiting giving.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Don't ask it, bit um. Have you ever since all
- 28:47Speaker 1: of this went down? Spoken to Candice? Have I ever?
- 28:51Speaker 1: I couldn't hear you. I'm sorry. Oh, since all of
- 28:52Speaker 1: this went down, spoken to Candice, I don't talk to
- 28:58Speaker 1: people that said at the children's table anymore. Oh God,
- 29:04Speaker 1: I'm interested at all. Like, there's a lot of things
- 29:07Speaker 1: that happened behind the scenes that people think it's just
- 29:11Speaker 1: the fight. The fight happened like it was like a fluke.
- 29:14Speaker 1: It wasn't. There wasn't any build up to it. Production
- 29:17Speaker 1: manipulated scenes, even the time in which we they aired
- 29:22Speaker 1: the episodes. It was like all out of sequence to
- 29:25Speaker 1: make it seem like there was this major build up
- 29:28Speaker 1: that caused the fight. It wasn't anything like that at all.
- 29:30Speaker 1: It was simply your hand was in my face. I
- 29:33Speaker 1: asked you to get it out. You didn't and then
- 29:35Speaker 1: it just got crazy from there. So that's like a
- 29:38Speaker 1: thing for me. And it's funny because her first season
- 29:41Speaker 1: when we when we actually met, she was doing all
- 29:44Speaker 1: at hand talking and I literally sat in confessional. She
- 29:47Speaker 1: keeps talking about the hands and she might hit me
- 29:49Speaker 1: and I might have to hit back. I don't like
- 29:51Speaker 1: hands in my face, Like I just don't. Didn't she
- 29:53Speaker 1: also doing was like the Night for the Fork, like
- 29:56Speaker 1: there was other things that she had done on the
- 29:58Speaker 1: season prior. Correct. Yeah, she's an angry child, you know.
- 30:02Speaker 1: She she waves knives and she does all kind of
- 30:05Speaker 1: tantrum type stuff and um, you know, I'm just I'm
- 30:08Speaker 1: not here for it, you know. So it is what
- 30:10Speaker 1: it is. Good riddance to her. I wish her all
- 30:13Speaker 1: the best, um, but I have no interest in all
- 30:16Speaker 1: the best, all the best. Lu bless her god. Lass
- 30:21Speaker 1: you have to hear her heart. Would take bless her
- 30:25Speaker 1: heart saying yourself and you still have not for Lazy
- 30:31Speaker 1: Mom's your podcast, so people can tune into that. Yes, yes,
- 30:34Speaker 1: we have the platform, the online community, and we do
- 30:37Speaker 1: pop ups, so we we do in person like it's
- 30:40Speaker 1: like the Quick Live Q and a. So that was
- 30:43Speaker 1: featured on the first episode of Love and Marriage DC,
- 30:45Speaker 1: and that's been really fun because it's getting people comfortable
- 30:48Speaker 1: after going through quarantine to come back out. Because we
- 30:51Speaker 1: used to do full fledged like shows. It was like
- 30:53Speaker 1: a whole live band, you know, food, drinks, that fun. Yeah,
- 30:58Speaker 1: with giveaways. We have a host and it used to
- 31:01Speaker 1: be a full out, you know, three hour event. So
- 31:03Speaker 1: one busy girl, Yes, I love being busy though, Oh
- 31:08Speaker 1: my gosh, busy busy. And then when do you start
- 31:11Speaker 1: filming season two? Well, they haven't made an announcement on
- 31:16Speaker 1: a season two yet, so we'll see. But I'm pretty
- 31:19Speaker 1: sure the way all likes to move, as soon as
- 31:21Speaker 1: they green light it will be filming like right away,
- 31:24Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure. And first show for for this show,
- 31:27Speaker 1: will they have like a reunion type thing or now? Yes, yes,
- 31:30Speaker 1: we're actually gonna be filming reunion really soon. I need
- 31:34Speaker 1: to call us to the Andy Cohen of that right. Yes,
- 31:37Speaker 1: he is, Oh goody show the Nightcap. Yes, after our show.
- 31:45Speaker 1: It is just epic. I love it. I love what
- 31:48Speaker 1: he's doing. It's like, why why reinvent the wheel? You
- 31:50Speaker 1: know He's we have been loving watching you and your transparency,
- 31:56Speaker 1: and for all of us that are in marriages, you
- 31:58Speaker 1: guys are talking about else stuff and actually you're feeling
- 32:02Speaker 1: the emotion and we really appreciate it. We appreciate you,
- 32:04Speaker 1: and what a wonderful mom you are as well. Um
- 32:07Speaker 1: and Carlos King Love and Marriage George County. I'm just saying,
- 32:13Speaker 1: to do it. He needs to do it. Carlos has
- 32:16Speaker 1: this magic such I'm waiting for that phone called Carlos.
- 32:19Speaker 1: She is, She's honestly like this. She's like Carlos, Carlos, Carlos,
- 32:23Speaker 1: Um about that day show you're doing. Thank you so
- 32:27Speaker 1: much for joining us. Money, Thank you. It was awesome.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Bye bye, bye bye. She's lovely, she's awesome. She is.
- 32:49Speaker 1: So would you go on Love and Marriage in Sina?
- 32:54Speaker 1: I mean, I'd rather go on Love and Marriage somewhere
- 32:57Speaker 1: adjacent between and Cino and Orange County and then we
- 33:00Speaker 1: could do it together with Eddie and I. Oh, hilarious
- 33:03Speaker 1: the ads. Can you imagine the ads? Here's the thing, Eddie.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Eddie was never really excited about Orange County because none
- 33:11Speaker 1: of the dudes were like cool, like, he didn't have
- 33:13Speaker 1: any guys that he wanted to hang out with if
- 33:16Speaker 1: he was like with guys like like New Jersey. The
- 33:19Speaker 1: guys all like each other, they have fun to hang out.
- 33:21Speaker 1: It's it's exciting. But when you're on a show where
- 33:24Speaker 1: the girls, girls are whatever kind of get along and
- 33:27Speaker 1: fighting drama, but the guys are just sitting in the back,
- 33:29Speaker 1: just staring, it's not fun for them. So if he
- 33:32Speaker 1: had someone like Edwin, you know, that would be fun
- 33:35Speaker 1: for him, I would do it. I mean, I think
- 33:37Speaker 1: one of the biggest things that I I I agree
- 33:40Speaker 1: with Monique about Housewives is I do wish they showed
- 33:44Speaker 1: more of the home life, of the relationships, this like
- 33:47Speaker 1: of the businesses, not the like us throwing parties, but
- 33:50Speaker 1: what it actually takes to maintain a business, manage a business,
- 33:54Speaker 1: how women grow their businesses. Like those are things I
- 33:57Speaker 1: ultimately would want to watch because as if I was
- 34:00Speaker 1: at home watching these things wanted to create, I feel
- 34:03Speaker 1: like that's a different that's a different network. It's a
- 34:05Speaker 1: different network. Robert doesn't want to do that. They want
- 34:07Speaker 1: to do fighting, arguing, drama, all that. In fact, they
- 34:11Speaker 1: frown upon showing businesses, right, they frowned upon showing businesses.
- 34:16Speaker 1: But if they showed the women having to actually fight
- 34:20Speaker 1: through the grit of whatever is going on in their life.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Then I think it would be more real. Well, there
- 34:27Speaker 1: you go. I think you should pitch that to Andy.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I'm also, hey, Andy, I hope you liked the president
- 34:34Speaker 1: I sent to Lucy. Also, I have an idea for
- 34:36Speaker 1: a show's good luck with Well that was fun. I'm great.
- 34:44Speaker 1: She was great, and I'm going to see you soon.
