- 0:33Speaker 2: a local tribe of cannibals and they're cannibal king sitting
- 0:38Speaker 2: on a golden throne. I'm screwed, Eric whispers to himself.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Then out of nowhere appears a wise old man. No
- 0:50Speaker 2: you are not, he says to Eric and proceeds to
- 0:54Speaker 2: pick up a small rock from the ground. You must
- 0:58Speaker 2: take this magic rock and throw it at the cannibal king.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Eric desperately throws the stone and hits the cannibal king
- 1:09Speaker 2: right in the forehead. He looks back at the wise
- 1:13Speaker 2: old man. Now what he asks? The wise old man
- 1:20Speaker 2: smiles and says, ah, see, now you are screwed. Society
- 1:38Speaker 2: has its own view of what constitutes the good life.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Society puts so much importance on acquiring money, possessions, and power.
- 1:51Speaker 2: But is this really the best way to get a
- 1:54Speaker 2: good life. We will talk about this in this week's
- 1:58Speaker 2: episode of Positively, but first we have our trivia question

- 3:17Speaker 2: week's trivia question? The question was who was the first
- 3:23Speaker 2: American President to die in office? The answer President William
- 3:31Speaker 2: Henry Harrison died at twelve thirty am on April fourth,
- 3:37Speaker 2: eighteen forty one. He was president for a mere thirty
- 3:43Speaker 2: two days. Now, you know, society often portrays a luxurious
- 4:04Speaker 2: life as one filled with material wealth, expensive possessions, and
- 4:10Speaker 2: status symbols. But this narrow view misses the deeper meaning
- 4:15Speaker 2: of true luxury. Real luxury isn't just about things, It's
- 4:21Speaker 2: about experiences, freedom, and well being. Society's emphasis on consumerism
- 4:28Speaker 2: can make us chase external markers of success while overlooking
- 4:33Speaker 2: the value of time, meaningful relationships, and personal fulfillment. A
- 4:39Speaker 2: truly luxurious life is one that brings joy, peace and balance,
- 4:45Speaker 2: often through non material things like health, time for self care,
- 4:50Speaker 2: and connection with others. According to society, luxury is cars,
- 5:11Speaker 2: expensive clothes, a lavish lifestyle, But the real luxuries in
- 5:18Speaker 2: life are slow mornings, freedom to choose a good night's sleep,
- 5:25Speaker 2: peace of mind, calm and even boring days, being present
- 5:33Speaker 2: people you love, people who love you back. These are
- 5:39Speaker 2: not things to be acquired, but rather the results of
- 5:43Speaker 2: a purposeful and fulfilling existence.
