- 0:07Speaker 1: Welcome to the Favorites, presented by Draft Kings. The crown
- 0:13Speaker 1: is yours. We are an Action Network podcast. I'm Brandon Kravitz,
- 0:17Speaker 1: back at it with my crew, the first Lady of
- 0:19Speaker 1: the Pod, Kendri Middleton, and the Prime Minister of DJEN Nation, Stucky.
- 0:24Speaker 1: On today's episode, we've got a special guest joining us,
- 0:27Speaker 1: Matt Moore, the Mayor of Buckets. We're talking cross sport
- 0:30Speaker 1: plays in the NFL and the NBA Wild Props and
- 0:34Speaker 1: whatever else is on Matt's big brain. Stucky, give us
- 0:39Speaker 1: one thing that we learned about college basketball this week.
- 0:43Speaker 2: The freshmen are so good. I mean it's insane.
- 0:45Speaker 3: I mean, you go back to Woggler for Illinois against Nebraska,
- 0:51Speaker 3: hostile environment, just took control of that second half. And
- 0:56Speaker 3: then I mean Darren Peterson last night he actually played
- 0:59Speaker 3: in the second half for Kansas. He's one of the
- 1:01Speaker 3: smoothest players I've ever seen. Hit two huge threes late.
- 1:04Speaker 3: And the freshman I mean, you look Matt's here. I mean,
- 1:08Speaker 3: you look at the NBA draft board for next year,
- 1:13Speaker 3: You're gonna see freshman, freshman, freshman, freshman, freshman, freshman all
- 1:18Speaker 3: down the line. We got a matchup of two this
- 1:21Speaker 3: week on Saturday to Carolina Caleb Wilson and Boozer. That'll
- 1:27Speaker 3: be a really fun matchup. But the freshman this year unbelievable.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Like Woggler and Peterson, they look like and these these
- 1:34Speaker 3: freshman guards that I mean, they're they're playing like they've
- 1:38Speaker 3: been in college basketball for three to four years and
- 1:42Speaker 3: they're so poised and it's pretty amazing. So if you're
- 1:46Speaker 3: just getting into college basketball or won't until after uh
- 1:50Speaker 3: you know, the super Bowl or even until March, freshmen
- 1:53Speaker 3: are going to have a massive say in who ends
- 1:58Speaker 3: up in Indianapolis and who ends up cutting down the net.
- 2:01Speaker 2: So there's so many.
- 2:02Speaker 3: I mean, you go down the board of these the
- 2:07Speaker 3: top ten, I mean I didn't even mentioned Flemings for Houston,
- 2:11Speaker 3: who has come out of nowhere.
- 2:12Speaker 2: I mean Arizona, what's that?
- 2:14Speaker 4: Top five? Flemings going top five?
- 2:17Speaker 1: Max? All right, I didn't know that we were going
- 2:18Speaker 1: to hit this, but Matt Moore's big board. Let's let's
- 2:20Speaker 1: get it going.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Arizona starts three by like three freshmen, and I mean
- 2:24Speaker 3: they haven't lost yet. It's it's pretty remarkable. But I
- 2:29Speaker 3: have why is it Wogler getting more hype and that
- 2:31Speaker 3: is he starting Is that starting to build up?
- 2:33Speaker 4: I haven't heard much about him, honestly, I don't know why.
- 2:36Speaker 4: There's probably something that's got to do with either his
- 2:38Speaker 4: wingspan or something on the medical history, but there hasn't
- 2:41Speaker 4: been as much I've heard on him. Or they may
- 2:43Speaker 4: not expect him to come out this year, but because
- 2:45Speaker 4: it is a freaking loaded draft, I want to know
- 2:49Speaker 4: from you. So I talked two people that were at
- 2:52Speaker 4: k at kub Yu this week, and they were both
- 2:54Speaker 4: they both said the same thing that you said, which
- 2:56Speaker 4: is like Peterson's just so polished, like he has so
- 2:59Speaker 4: much his game. And that's really if you're a franchise
- 3:03Speaker 4: and you're looking to bring in a guy as you're
- 3:04Speaker 4: number one, that's a really big boost to you because
- 3:07Speaker 4: you just don't have to worry about all of the
- 3:09Speaker 4: times that the coach is driven nuts by how that
- 3:11Speaker 4: player plays, because it's like, no, he just knows how
- 3:13Speaker 4: to handle the ball, he knows how to get to
- 3:15Speaker 4: his spots, et cetera. I just continue to feel like
- 3:18Speaker 4: Boozer is the best player in the draft. Like I'm
- 3:20Speaker 4: I am surprised that Peterson continues to be odds on
- 3:24Speaker 4: favor to go number one. What's the hole in Boozer's games, Stucky.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Yeah, there's not man and you have de bans at
- 3:31Speaker 3: devonsa two who out at BYU A lot of people love, Yeah,
- 3:36Speaker 3: I mean Boozer. I feel like Boozer might be more.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I don't really, there's not many holes.
- 3:44Speaker 3: I mean he's he's also a terrific passer, which he
- 3:47Speaker 3: is credit for, and he plays like a man like
- 3:50Speaker 3: he looks like you know, I mentioned all these guards,
- 3:52Speaker 3: but Boozer looks like you know, a guy who's four
- 3:56Speaker 3: years older than everyone. Yeah, in the ACC and he's
- 3:59Speaker 3: a freshman. There's no ru holes in his game.
- 4:01Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean I'm not too up to
- 4:03Speaker 2: date in the NBA.
- 4:04Speaker 3: He he might it might be more for him, like
- 4:06Speaker 3: does he fit like his actual role, Like as far
- 4:10Speaker 3: as position, I'd like because a guy like Peterson.
- 4:14Speaker 4: Can plug and play.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, plug and play.
- 4:16Speaker 3: I mean he's a pro score already, So maybe Boozer
- 4:21Speaker 3: there's you have more fit questions based on the roster.
- 4:23Speaker 2: And I don't know. I'm not an NBA expert, but
- 4:26Speaker 2: there's no real.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Holes that the bad news is there right now? On
- 4:30Speaker 4: Tankathon Darren Peterson slaved to go to the King, so
- 4:33Speaker 4: ripped to his career. But that's just done.
- 4:35Speaker 2: So who are the top three right now that are
- 4:37Speaker 2: going to know?
- 4:38Speaker 4: It's it's Peterson, Boozer de Bonsa, No, no.
- 4:40Speaker 3: I mean that. Who do you think the top three
- 4:41Speaker 3: are going to be? Like the three most likely? I
- 4:45Speaker 3: know there's a lottery, but the three most.
- 4:46Speaker 4: Like I mean, yeah, the lottery is the problem, right.
- 4:50Speaker 4: I think it's probably gonna be like Atlanta because they
- 4:52Speaker 4: got the Pelicans. Pick Atlanta, Sacramento and Utah are probably
- 4:59Speaker 4: the the most likely to go top three.
- 5:02Speaker 2: The dream scenarioes.
- 5:04Speaker 3: I missed the days when the Kings, the Kings were good,
- 5:08Speaker 3: Like there's there's just like college basketball is better, I
- 5:12Speaker 3: mean college best was better. When Memphis is good and
- 5:15Speaker 3: Memphis is tarbic, Memphis is under five hundred.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Kendra was not alive the last time the Kings were legitimately, well,
- 5:19Speaker 4: they were good two years ago, but before that, Kendra
- 5:22Speaker 4: was not alive.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I mean, like real, real legit. I missed that when
- 5:26Speaker 3: the Blazers and the Kings.
- 5:28Speaker 2: That was fun. My NBA fandom beat this is right, right.
- 5:35Speaker 1: I just want to This is a really good promotion
- 5:37Speaker 1: for those out there listening that love all sports. BBOC
- 5:41Speaker 1: buckets make that part of your action network and podcasting
- 5:45Speaker 1: and youtubing collection. I wrote into the rundown for Kendra
- 5:50Speaker 1: to give us a quick recap on the Grammys, and
- 5:53Speaker 1: I thought for sure she'd had something to say about it.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I don't know many people that are as excited about
- 5:58Speaker 1: the Bad Bunny halftime show as she is, and yet
- 6:01Speaker 1: get I get a note here that says, I have
- 6:03Speaker 1: no idea. I was watching goalies fighting around. How do
- 6:07Speaker 1: you not have Grammys? Takes your boy Bad Bunny one
- 6:10Speaker 1: Album of the Year.
- 6:11Speaker 5: I know, but I was not watching the Grammys. I
- 6:14Speaker 5: don't watch any of the award shows. I know that
- 6:16Speaker 5: I'm like pretty into the pop culture thing, but I'm
- 6:18Speaker 5: not into that side of the pop culture thing. I
- 6:20Speaker 5: was watching the Stadium series. I was watching goalies fight
- 6:23Speaker 5: surrounded by a pirate cosplay at Gasparola. Actually so sorry, Yeah.
- 6:27Speaker 1: How about that? It was It was as cold as
- 6:31Speaker 1: the ice itself, and takes you had to cool.
- 6:33Speaker 5: The ice during intermission because they thought that it was
- 6:36Speaker 5: gonna be you warm enough down there for them to
- 6:38Speaker 5: be able to keep this whole contraption that they built,
- 6:41Speaker 5: but they actually had to cool or warm the ice
- 6:43Speaker 5: to keep it like the best possible temperature during the
- 6:46Speaker 5: breaks because it was so cold in Florida. But that
- 6:48Speaker 5: game was I don't know if you guys know this
- 6:50Speaker 5: about me. Outside of football and F one, hockey is
- 6:53Speaker 5: like my favorite thing. I covered hockey all through college.
- 6:55Speaker 5: I opened penalty box doors in D three club Polly
- 7:00Speaker 5: Hockey at Auburn. So yeah, I'm a big hockey goal.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Wow.
- 7:05Speaker 4: My wife is this like very She's short, and she's
- 7:10Speaker 4: she teaches literature out of college and is like a
- 7:16Speaker 4: super mom and like a gentle she's on the PTA,
- 7:19Speaker 4: but you take her to an Avalanche game and the
- 7:22Speaker 4: woman turns into a raging psychopath.
- 7:26Speaker 5: Like.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Immediately immediately, I've blasting. I took her to guy scores
- 7:32Speaker 4: a goal in the first couple of minutes with the
- 7:33Speaker 4: other team and hits the glass and like boom, two
- 7:36Speaker 4: fingers right up, just like.
- 7:40Speaker 5: You're married.
- 7:40Speaker 1: I love the idea that like seven rows down, someone's like,
- 7:43Speaker 1: I think that woman's on the PTA.
- 7:45Speaker 4: With total psycho is.
- 7:49Speaker 1: She's swinging her shirt over her head right now, what
- 7:51Speaker 1: is going on?
- 7:52Speaker 4: She's throwing hammers.
- 7:53Speaker 5: It's not good, that's amazing.
- 7:56Speaker 1: We're about to dive into our cross sport plays for
- 7:59Speaker 1: Super Bowl sixty, but first a word from our very
- 8:02Speaker 1: own Kendri Biddleton.

- 8:31Speaker 1: Matt Moore the dawn of the round ball here with
- 8:34Speaker 1: us on our Tuesday episode of The Favorites. Cross Sport plays.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Always a fun way to bet the Bowl Before we
- 8:40Speaker 1: get into it, Stucky, if you had one question about
- 8:42Speaker 1: the NBA this season, since you have not paid any
- 8:45Speaker 1: attention to it, so we've basically just dropped you from
- 8:48Speaker 1: outer space into the world of the NBA pre trade deadline,
- 8:54Speaker 1: pre All Star break. What would be one question that
- 8:57Speaker 1: you would have for Matt as we make him feel
- 8:59Speaker 1: nice and at home here.
- 9:01Speaker 4: You can't say why does the NBA exist? That's like,
- 9:04Speaker 4: just to be clear, you can't ask that question.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Step my my, My question always is why is the
- 9:09Speaker 3: season so long?
- 9:10Speaker 2: Why?
- 9:10Speaker 4: Why aren't they short? I.
- 9:15Speaker 2: By the way, I didn't even know the Grammys were
- 9:17Speaker 2: last night, so I just I look.
- 9:19Speaker 3: I saw this morning though, that that I like that
- 9:24Speaker 3: stet girl Olivia Dean won Best New Artist, That that
- 9:27Speaker 3: song is so catchy.
- 9:28Speaker 2: I love that song. Man is good.
- 9:32Speaker 3: I avoid all award shows like the Plague because I
- 9:36Speaker 3: never especially music ones, Oh my gosh, because I never
- 9:38Speaker 3: feel older, because I.
- 9:39Speaker 5: Don't know any that. Can you give me a list
- 9:41Speaker 5: of your three favorite artists because I feel like this
- 9:44Speaker 5: is something I don't know about you that will help
- 9:46Speaker 5: me understand you.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Three favorite artists.
- 9:51Speaker 5: It can be artists, band like whatever. But what do
- 9:53Speaker 5: you listen to?
- 9:56Speaker 3: I mean, of all time, my music is all over
- 10:01Speaker 3: the board. But I would say, like, and I'll give
- 10:04Speaker 3: you three that across all spectrums. How about like Tupac
- 10:10Speaker 3: counting crows and taking back Sunday.
- 10:14Speaker 5: That is the most millennial thing you could have ever said.
- 10:16Speaker 5: So I feel okay, amazing, Yeah, all right?
- 10:20Speaker 3: Uh oh the NBA, so I will ask I guess
- 10:28Speaker 3: I got coming into the year which confused me.
- 10:30Speaker 1: What.
- 10:30Speaker 2: I don't know what happened with the Hawks.
- 10:31Speaker 3: I thought they were like the sneaky the sneaky pick
- 10:34Speaker 3: of like, oh, they can take advantage of this week East?
- 10:37Speaker 3: But who is Like the Calves are seven and a
- 10:41Speaker 3: half back. I thought the Calves would be at the top.
- 10:42Speaker 3: I'm just looking at the standings and the Pistons are
- 10:47Speaker 3: five and a half games up. I mean, who do
- 10:49Speaker 3: you think eventually comes out of the East? Is Tatum
- 10:53Speaker 3: coming back? Like I make sense of the East makes
- 10:55Speaker 3: I mean the West is going to be.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Like can someone take down the Thunder?
- 10:59Speaker 3: Probably not, but the East to me is probably way
- 11:01Speaker 3: more interesting, especially if people look into maybe better future or.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Just yeah that the East come playoff time.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Yeah, I've got a position on Celtics. All the matter
- 11:10Speaker 4: tricks that I've got. Basically, the Celtics underperformed for two
- 11:13Speaker 4: months and they've been updated, like they played some guys
- 11:16Speaker 4: that were struggling to move those guys out move better.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Guys in their rotation gets a little bit tighter every
- 11:20Speaker 4: single month. As far as Tatum goes, uh, that's a
- 11:23Speaker 4: little bit of a like that's geting to be a
- 11:25Speaker 4: little bit an awkward question in Boston, and nobody really
- 11:27Speaker 4: knows what's going on. My understanding is that Jason Tatum
- 11:31Speaker 4: would like to come back, and I'm not sure that
- 11:34Speaker 4: the Celtics are sure that that's a good idea, and
- 11:35Speaker 4: that's causing a little bit of tension. Jalen Brown's played
- 11:38Speaker 4: like an MVP this season. We don't know how that's
- 11:39Speaker 4: gonna shake out. Chalk Answers Nicks just because they have
- 11:41Speaker 4: more experience, Like Detroit is that team that's like way
- 11:44Speaker 4: overperforming this season. They're awesome, they're a lot of fun.
- 11:47Speaker 4: They have the number two defense in the NBA. They're dogs,
- 11:51Speaker 4: they're a lot of fun to watch. Kids awesome, but
- 11:52Speaker 4: they don't have enough shooting, Like, they don't have enough firepower.
- 11:55Speaker 4: It's why they're trying to make a move of the
- 11:56Speaker 4: deadline to upgrade their scoring punch Nicks. We'll see what
- 12:00Speaker 4: they do by Thursday if they don't get Giannis, which
- 12:04Speaker 4: I'm not expecting at this point because Giannis is on
- 12:06Speaker 4: the block. I think Nix is probably the safest option. Celtics,
- 12:11Speaker 4: I think has the best value. And if you're looking
- 12:13Speaker 4: for a long shot, it's the Calves who last night
- 12:15Speaker 4: though they might be trading for James Harden, which anytime
- 12:19Speaker 4: that you're like, we'll look at make a playoff run,
- 12:21Speaker 4: who you're adding James Harden, I'm out. I'm out. So
- 12:25Speaker 4: a little bit worried about that one because I did
- 12:27Speaker 4: bet some Calves on long shot sixers. A little bit
- 12:29Speaker 4: dangerous too. Joe Embids actually playing this year, playing really great,
- 12:32Speaker 4: Tyres Max has been an absolute beast. Now, don't bet
- 12:35Speaker 4: the Yeah, don't bet the Raptors. That's kind of your East.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Look.
- 12:39Speaker 4: It's like Nick's Celtics or Calves are still the best value.
- 12:42Speaker 4: And that's where we were at preseason.
- 12:44Speaker 3: One of the questions where where's Gianni's gonna go? And
- 12:47Speaker 3: that's the question.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Yeah, So James, I talked to people last night and
- 12:53Speaker 4: here's what what I've heard. Everyone thinks like they've had
- 12:56Speaker 4: all these deep conversations with Minnesota, Golden State in Miami.
- 12:59Speaker 4: That's the three teams that have the most conversation. There
- 13:01Speaker 4: are other teams that have called, obviously including the Cavaliers.
- 13:06Speaker 4: The problem is is that in the summer, the Heat
- 13:10Speaker 4: open up two more draft picks that they can trade
- 13:12Speaker 4: because there's limits on which ones you can trade right now,
- 13:14Speaker 4: and the Knicks open up two more draft picks. So
- 13:16Speaker 4: if you're the Bucks and Giannis is not making you
- 13:19Speaker 4: move him right now, and he's not, he's like, if
- 13:20Speaker 4: you want to keep me, it's fine, but eventually we
- 13:22Speaker 4: need to get this figured out. They get to operate
- 13:24Speaker 4: on their timeline. So my understanding is that the GM
- 13:28Speaker 4: of the Bucks is surveying options, getting everything set so
- 13:32Speaker 4: that this summer he can go back and be like, no, no, no.
- 13:34Speaker 4: In February, this is what you offered. Or in February
- 13:37Speaker 4: I had this offer, You're gonna have to be that
- 13:39Speaker 4: offer right now. They are collecting offers right now. There's
- 13:42Speaker 4: a lot of skepticism the deals is actually gonna get
- 13:44Speaker 4: done before Thursday this summer, though I continue to believe
- 13:48Speaker 4: that if Minnesota doesn't grab him by the deadline, I
- 13:51Speaker 4: think the Knicks are still the most likely scenario here.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Knicks flame out in the playoffs. They trade Karl Anthony
- 13:55Speaker 4: Towns and Ogna Noobi for extra assets to go to Milwaukee,
- 13:58Speaker 4: and Yiannis ends up where he wanted to go the summer,
- 14:01Speaker 4: which is to the New York next.
- 14:02Speaker 2: I feel like this, I feel the Warriors would make
- 14:05Speaker 2: sense just in that you have Steph Carey, who's what
- 14:08Speaker 2: thirty thirty I.
- 14:10Speaker 4: Don't know, thirty thirty five next.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Year, and like how many years left does he haven't? Wait,
- 14:19Speaker 3: he's thirty seven?
- 14:20Speaker 4: Oh yeah something my bad?
- 14:22Speaker 3: So at a high level a couple, so like after
- 14:27Speaker 3: he's done, I feel like that's like, who cares?
- 14:31Speaker 2: Just blow it up. You're gonna to start all over.
- 14:33Speaker 2: It's gonna get poppy. Do you just try to go
- 14:36Speaker 2: after it?
- 14:37Speaker 4: For the words the Warriors have literally told the Bucks
- 14:40Speaker 4: will be any offer anything you want, will give you anything.
- 14:45Speaker 4: The problem is they just don't have as much. They're
- 14:47Speaker 4: basically like, do you want to bank on us not
- 14:49Speaker 4: being able to put together a halfway decent team of
- 14:53Speaker 4: a sub five hundred team after Steph retires? Like that's
- 14:58Speaker 4: the gambit because they have nothing else. It's like, hey,
- 14:59Speaker 4: do you want Jimmy Butler's corpse and Jonathan kaminga who
- 15:02Speaker 4: no one wants? Cool?
- 15:04Speaker 2: Yep?
- 15:04Speaker 3: So all right, we got anything on Yea, let's talk football.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Let's do it. So let's talk across sport plays here
- 15:11Speaker 1: we've got. Before we get to that, let's talk about
- 15:14Speaker 1: the Booty call over on Draft Kings kai Shaun Booty
- 15:17Speaker 1: to have a forty plus yard receiving touchdown at twelve
- 15:21Speaker 1: to one. I guess he kind of figure Matt that
- 15:23Speaker 1: if he's going to catch a touchdown pass, it's probably
- 15:27Speaker 1: going to be deep down the field. So is this
- 15:29Speaker 1: one that you would take a look at?
- 15:30Speaker 4: So I wanted to talk to Ta Stucky who said
- 15:33Speaker 4: he's gonna be the grinch on the show, and I
- 15:34Speaker 4: want to ask him and Kendro, I want your thoughts
- 15:36Speaker 4: on this too. My understanding is that Seahawks play zone right,
- 15:43Speaker 4: Seahawks play, they show cover two, yeah, and then they
- 15:48Speaker 4: show cover They show cover two and then they move
- 15:50Speaker 4: into cover three a lot. Is that accurate?
- 15:51Speaker 1: Yes?
- 15:52Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of the Skies cover just eighty percent zone.
- 15:54Speaker 3: But like it's a super Bowl, you what do you
- 15:56Speaker 3: have to keep in mind for this is that two
- 15:59Speaker 3: weeks to it's the last game of the season. The
- 16:02Speaker 3: other team knows your tendencies, you know their tendency, So
- 16:05Speaker 3: there's you know, you don't want to get too far
- 16:07Speaker 3: away from what you do.
- 16:09Speaker 5: But do you need that Creativity is the name of
- 16:11Speaker 5: the game in the Super Bowl for sure.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Yeah, So I wouldn't be shocked if you do see
- 16:15Speaker 3: more man because there is a world where you that
- 16:19Speaker 3: Seahawks say, Okay, they're expecting zone. Their game blends probably
- 16:24Speaker 3: going to be a lot of zone type calls and
- 16:27Speaker 3: now let's go man because we don't think that their
- 16:29Speaker 3: receivers can beat our corners. So you could see more
- 16:35Speaker 3: man for sure. I mean if I believe showed more
- 16:38Speaker 3: man less against the Rams and than usual, so you
- 16:41Speaker 3: definitely could see some curve balls. But in general, yes,
- 16:45Speaker 3: they're a zone heavy defense that doesn't allow explosive plays
- 16:50Speaker 3: that I mean that would be my like that I
- 16:53Speaker 3: would need better than twelve to one. I'm gonna be
- 16:55Speaker 3: the gridge on this because usually betting on these things
- 16:57Speaker 3: to happen, the odds are usually terrible. I mean, how
- 17:00Speaker 3: many how many catches of forty plus yards do you
- 17:03Speaker 3: think Booty had in the regular season? Just guesser zero zero, Yeah,
- 17:10Speaker 3: he's zero forty yard catches. You need a forty yard
- 17:14Speaker 3: catch and a touchdown. The Seahawks allowed. You know, they
- 17:17Speaker 3: don't allow it's supposed to play. They allowed i think
- 17:20Speaker 3: four fifty yard passes all seasoned long.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Yeah, and like all of his deep passes were to
- 17:26Speaker 4: the sideline. That's why I asked about the zone is
- 17:29Speaker 4: because I was like, Okay, if you're in cover three,
- 17:31Speaker 4: you're literally taking away that area of the field that
- 17:34Speaker 4: he's going to probably be able to get to there
- 17:35Speaker 4: because there's no gap between the cover two and the safeties, right.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Yeah, and you have you also have Matt Collins who
- 17:41Speaker 3: came back, who he'll occasionally take. He might take some
- 17:47Speaker 3: of those away. We saw that against Denver, so he
- 17:50Speaker 3: might take some of those deep shots away from Booty.
- 17:54Speaker 3: So yeah, I would need better than twelve to one
- 17:57Speaker 3: to bet that for sure.
- 17:58Speaker 4: On the other end, if you just think they're gonna
- 18:00Speaker 4: play more more man and you think you know, yeah, they're.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Gonna play more man than yeah, there's gonna be May's
- 18:06Speaker 3: gonna take his shots.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Yeah, he's so good on the deep ball.
- 18:09Speaker 3: But the other thing is is like if the game
- 18:11Speaker 3: is close and low scoring, then maybe not because the
- 18:15Speaker 3: Patriots have to be worried about you know, their offensive
- 18:18Speaker 3: line and May turning it over you saw that against Denver, right,
- 18:21Speaker 3: like on third downs, they basically were saying like, we're
- 18:25Speaker 3: not getting stripped, we're not getting putting the ball in
- 18:27Speaker 3: harm's way. So depending on game state, you might not
- 18:30Speaker 3: see as many of those shots. But like, if the
- 18:34Speaker 3: Seahawks are scoring and this game is back and forth,
- 18:36Speaker 3: May's he's gonna take his his deep shots. He has
- 18:41Speaker 3: one of the best deep balls in the NFL. But
- 18:43Speaker 3: I would need a better price than this.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Kendrick, do you think Stucky the Grinch talked Matt Moore
- 18:48Speaker 1: off the ledge here with Kayshaun Boody.
- 18:51Speaker 5: His energy really shifted in real time on this podcast.
- 18:54Speaker 5: He went from being like you're gonna be the grinch
- 18:56Speaker 5: y and Stucky said, Okay, let me let's sit down
- 18:59Speaker 5: for this and I'm gonna hold your hand while we
- 19:02Speaker 5: talk about it.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Accurate.
- 19:05Speaker 4: Matt, Yeah, I think so. I think I had questions stuck.
- 19:08Speaker 1: He answered, all right, let's keep it moving then. JSN receptions,
- 19:13Speaker 1: here's one I can get down with. Well, we're taking
- 19:15Speaker 1: JSN straight up against Jalen Brown rebounds. This is kind
- 19:21Speaker 1: of fun stuff that you can bet when it comes
- 19:22Speaker 1: to Super Bowl Sunday. Jalen Brown and the Celtics taking
- 19:26Speaker 1: on the New York Knicks, and Brown averages five point
- 19:29Speaker 1: four rebounds per game against the Knicks the last three seasons.
- 19:32Speaker 1: This guy, with Jason Tatum not in the lineup this year,
- 19:37Speaker 1: has been a rebounding machine. Get we see him get
- 19:39Speaker 1: it up to double digits quite frequently. JSN certainly capable
- 19:43Speaker 1: of doing that in the receiving game. I wish there
- 19:46Speaker 1: was a nice long shot at the number being exactly
- 19:49Speaker 1: the same. I would be willing to bet that. But
- 19:52Speaker 1: who do you think comes out on top JSN receptions
- 19:55Speaker 1: versus Jalen Brown rebounds?
- 19:57Speaker 4: I love the JSN here, right, our guy Brandon Anderson's
- 20:01Speaker 4: over and he's all over JSM props for this Super Bowl,
- 20:05Speaker 4: in part because I think he just wants any way
- 20:06Speaker 4: to just hate on the Patriots as much as humanly possible. Yeah,
- 20:11Speaker 4: our producer notes the tie is only plus eight hundred,
- 20:13Speaker 4: which is a little bit nice.
- 20:14Speaker 1: I would digs at the very least.
- 20:17Speaker 4: Which goes to Stucky's points about these markets. But the
- 20:21Speaker 4: key here is like, yeah, Jalen averages a lot of rebounds,
- 20:23Speaker 4: but he does it versus non teams that are not
- 20:25Speaker 4: dominant on the glass. That's like, there's a couple of
- 20:28Speaker 4: teams in the league that are just simply built on rebounding,
- 20:31Speaker 4: and the Knicks are one of them. There's such a
- 20:32Speaker 4: dominant rebounding team. One of the things, though, I think
- 20:36Speaker 4: is that the Knicks are playing better defense lately, so
- 20:38Speaker 4: that creates more misses, which obviously creates a better opportunity.
- 20:41Speaker 4: But the Celtics also play at a really glacial pace.
- 20:43Speaker 4: They're one of the slowest teams in the league. Nixill
- 20:46Speaker 4: let them play that slow. They're not looking to push
- 20:48Speaker 4: the ball, and their wings are so good at rebounding.
- 20:51Speaker 4: Not just Ognobi, but McHale Bridges is actually a sneaky
- 20:54Speaker 4: good rebounder, and Miles McBride actually routinely does a really
- 20:58Speaker 4: good job of man the defensive glass at least, so
- 21:02Speaker 4: you don't have these offensive opportunities. I do know't think
- 21:03Speaker 4: there's gonna be a lot of chances for Jalen to
- 21:05Speaker 4: get the ball and race up the floor. So to me,
- 21:08Speaker 4: this is like JSN. This is a great one. Everyone
- 21:11Speaker 4: on the bucket side loves taking JSN receptions over Jalen
- 21:14Speaker 4: Brown rebounds.
- 21:16Speaker 3: I would say my one pushback on it would be
- 21:23Speaker 3: you know, like you go back to There's been a
- 21:26Speaker 3: couple of games where I mean I go back to
- 21:29Speaker 3: that the Vikings game. I know they won in blaw fashion,
- 21:32Speaker 3: but Jason only had two catches on four targets for
- 21:35Speaker 3: twenty yards and Floor has basically bracketed them a lot.
- 21:40Speaker 3: So what is the game This is one of the
- 21:42Speaker 3: most fascinating things of this game to me. What is
- 21:45Speaker 3: the game plan of the Patriots in how they handle Jsn?
- 21:51Speaker 3: There are because there's two clear schools of thought. You
- 21:55Speaker 3: could have Gonzales on him and follow him your best corner.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Now did the Seahawks counter and put them more in
- 22:03Speaker 3: the slot and move them around more coming out of
- 22:06Speaker 3: the backfield sometimes, like do some more creative things with
- 22:08Speaker 3: them or do the Patriots say do.
- 22:12Speaker 2: They take the Belichick approach?
- 22:13Speaker 3: Like Belichick back in the day, like Matt you would
- 22:17Speaker 3: remember this when they like the when the Pats would
- 22:20Speaker 3: play the Chiefs, you would take you know, your and
- 22:25Speaker 3: this goes I mean, this goes back Belichick with this
- 22:27Speaker 3: goes Ben frabe lot. There's a lot of ties to Belichick.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Obviously in the stat this goes back to twenty twenty
- 22:32Speaker 3: five years. You would take your best corner, and you don't.
- 22:37Speaker 3: You don't put them on the best receiver. So like
- 22:38Speaker 3: this out they would handle Tyreek Hill. You take your
- 22:41Speaker 3: second corner and you put them on Hill. Tyreek killed it.
- 22:44Speaker 3: In this case, it would be jess And and then you
- 22:46Speaker 3: take a safety over top and you basically bracket him
- 22:50Speaker 3: the entire game. And then you have your top corner,
- 22:53Speaker 3: you know, on Shaheed or Cup whoever's on the outside there.
- 22:58Speaker 3: And then is there a game, Look, go ahead, Darnold,
- 23:03Speaker 3: throw to anyone else to beat us, and we'll tip
- 23:06Speaker 3: our hat and you're gonna have to do it against
- 23:07Speaker 3: our best corner, but we're gonna have JSN bracketed. That's
- 23:10Speaker 3: what I would do, Like I would just say, like, look,
- 23:12Speaker 3: I trust our run defense. I we can't have JSM
- 23:16Speaker 3: beat us. And that's what Belichick definitely would do, right
- 23:20Speaker 3: he takes away your strong hand. But I don't know
- 23:23Speaker 3: what the Patriots gonna do. That's one of the most
- 23:24Speaker 3: fascinating things. And it's not to say JSN still can't
- 23:28Speaker 3: go off. And then the Seahawks, I'm sure, are going
- 23:31Speaker 3: to try to use him in different formations where it's
- 23:33Speaker 3: more difficult to bracket in. But that's the only thing
- 23:37Speaker 3: I would worry about is if like there's an all
- 23:39Speaker 3: out sellout approach to stopping JSN, then he might just
- 23:43Speaker 3: be more of a decoy in the game.
- 23:45Speaker 1: So one of the interesting things with JSN and Jalen
- 23:48Speaker 1: Brown head up is that both of them was so
- 23:51Speaker 1: Jalen Brown's rebounds prop typically sits around seven and a half.
- 23:55Speaker 1: That's exactly where JSN is in this particular matchup up.
- 24:00Speaker 1: So that is one of the most.
- 24:02Speaker 4: That it's almost like it's almost like they knew that.
- 24:04Speaker 1: It is almost it's almost like they had that one scouted. Kendrick,
- 24:08Speaker 1: What do you got?
- 24:09Speaker 5: So? Another thing I put in here before the show
- 24:11Speaker 5: that we kind of talked about before we hopped on
- 24:13Speaker 5: here octopus. You like the octopus this year for a yes,
- 24:17Speaker 5: fifteen to one. What do you think about it?
- 24:20Speaker 4: I love it? I like, I think there's actually pretty
- 24:22Speaker 4: good idea because Shihit is like the guy here, like,
- 24:25Speaker 4: I'm just like such a good rashide shaheat guy that
- 24:29Speaker 4: to me. And I did want to get Kravitz and
- 24:32Speaker 4: Stucky's thoughts on this too as well as yours on
- 24:34Speaker 4: like when you look at the Patriots defense, What are
- 24:37Speaker 4: the odds that we get an end around for a touchdown?
- 24:40Speaker 4: I don't think the Seahawks ran almost at all with
- 24:43Speaker 4: the receivers. But if you're talking about there's being something
- 24:45Speaker 4: different that they're going to throw out there this this year,
- 24:48Speaker 4: maybe that's the way to go about it. And with
- 24:50Speaker 4: you've got this opportunity for like with we'll talk about
- 24:54Speaker 4: this with somebody else, because he's gonna be my MVP
- 24:56Speaker 4: pick too. Is like, if you've got the pot return
- 24:58Speaker 4: possibility along with the posibility of him catching a pass,
- 25:01Speaker 4: along with the possibility of an end around, doesn't like
- 25:04Speaker 4: Shaheed for me fundamentally with his speed, that changes the
- 25:07Speaker 4: odds of the oven octopus a little bit higher because
- 25:09Speaker 4: of his versatility.
- 25:11Speaker 1: So the octopus is that And by the way, I
- 25:14Speaker 1: learned this right before the show. I'd never bet the octopus.
- 25:17Speaker 2: How did you know this octopus?
- 25:21Speaker 1: I've heard the word like it's an animal that swims
- 25:23Speaker 1: in the ocean. I didn't know. And a two point
- 25:26Speaker 1: conversion I didn't know about. This feels like a bad
- 25:28Speaker 1: bet to me, especially with Rashid Shahed, who has not
- 25:32Speaker 1: really been used much in the run game since he's
- 25:35Speaker 1: become part of the Seattle Seahawks. So I I just
- 25:40Speaker 1: it feels like too much of a long shot for me. No,
- 25:43Speaker 1: I do not need the octopus to explained. I get it.
- 25:46Speaker 1: It's a touchdown at a two point conversion from the
- 25:48Speaker 1: same person. It's going to be random enough within the
- 25:52Speaker 1: flow of the game for him to score a touchdown. Period.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Now I need him to score a touchdown.
- 25:55Speaker 6: And get the two point conversion that I feel like
- 25:58Speaker 6: we're asking too much of. You know why called octopus though,
- 26:01Speaker 6: because there's because there's eight tentacles on an octopus and
- 26:05Speaker 6: there would be eight points scored within the.
- 26:11Speaker 3: I will say this, I'm gonna be the grinch every Look,
- 26:14Speaker 3: if you want to just have fun and bet it recreationally.
- 26:17Speaker 1: What's the number on this, by the way, one?
- 26:20Speaker 3: If you want to do that, Like, just have fun,
- 26:23Speaker 3: do it. But these odds are horrible.
- 26:25Speaker 5: Okay, So what about for there to be a successful
- 26:28Speaker 5: two point conversion?
- 26:29Speaker 4: Horrible?
- 26:30Speaker 2: Also? What are the odds usually?
- 26:32Speaker 3: So everyone wants to bet these things to happen, right,
- 26:35Speaker 3: and like everyone every year is going to bet like
- 26:36Speaker 3: there's a safety, there's there's horrible odds on that? Is
- 26:41Speaker 3: there a two point conversion. Is there an octopus? Everyone
- 26:42Speaker 3: wants to bet on these things to happen, right, but
- 26:44Speaker 3: there's usually all the values on the no. But I
- 26:48Speaker 3: mean an octopus. I think if you go back to
- 26:50Speaker 3: like nineteen ninety and the odds of an octopus happen happening,
- 26:56Speaker 3: it's happened in like two and a half percent of games.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Really two two and a half percent.
- 27:02Speaker 3: I didn't I don't quote me on that, but it's
- 27:05Speaker 3: somewhere there on there. So you can be a fifty
- 27:06Speaker 3: to one sure, but fifteen to one no.
- 27:11Speaker 5: And then you can't off even more. How about that
- 27:14Speaker 5: you take hold.
- 27:14Speaker 2: On let me go to two point conversion?
- 27:16Speaker 3: Two point and the Patris have been good against outside
- 27:18Speaker 3: runs for whatever this year two point conversions. This year
- 27:23Speaker 3: there were eighty six games that had a two point
- 27:26Speaker 3: conversion attempt in the regular season. There was two hundred
- 27:29Speaker 3: and eighty four games. I think there's only one two
- 27:31Speaker 3: point version in the playoffs. So that's thirty percent of
- 27:33Speaker 3: games that had I just any.
- 27:36Speaker 5: Money were successful though, because you have to.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Be then you have to be successful.
- 27:39Speaker 3: So I would take that bet that bet, you know,
- 27:43Speaker 3: plus three hundred is it for a successful two point
- 27:45Speaker 3: version like that's I wouldn't maybe considered is there just
- 27:48Speaker 3: going to be a two point conversion attempt not successful?
- 27:51Speaker 5: Because then if you go no, it's minus four twenty five.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Yes, I would bet no. Yeah, so I would bet no.
- 27:59Speaker 1: That sounds like it's sanely good value. By the way,
- 28:01Speaker 1: she he'd to scored two touchdowns if you like him
- 28:03Speaker 1: to win the MVP seventeen to one. I feel like
- 28:05Speaker 1: that would be the better bet one.
- 28:07Speaker 5: We have MVP. Yeah, you have MVP stuff.
- 28:10Speaker 3: And I lost saying Pats and Pats and Seahawks are
- 28:12Speaker 3: three for they're both three for three on the year
- 28:14Speaker 3: and two point conversions stuff, but that's only fifteen percent
- 28:19Speaker 3: of the games that they've gone for two. He's so
- 28:22Speaker 3: they're not two point conversion all, Like these coaches aren't.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Aren't coaches that go for?
- 28:26Speaker 4: I ask you because you're the guy I always joke
- 28:29Speaker 4: about with the obsession with sneaking, how often do the
- 28:32Speaker 4: Patriots sneak?
- 28:35Speaker 3: May is not a great sneaker, So they're not.
- 28:38Speaker 4: But they did their value.
- 28:40Speaker 3: They did it last week, but he didn't get it,
- 28:42Speaker 3: but he got it.
- 28:43Speaker 4: They say the Philly fans are gonna lose their mind.
- 28:46Speaker 4: If I don't note this, in the last fifteen years,
- 28:47Speaker 4: there's been one octopus. It was Jalen Hurts in twenty
- 28:50Speaker 4: twenty three when they lost to the camp.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Yeah, there has been won in a SUPERWL that happened,
- 28:54Speaker 3: and like, these things do happen. If you want to
- 28:55Speaker 3: bet that, fine, Like there was a stafety that happened
- 28:57Speaker 3: in the first play of the game with the Broncos
- 28:59Speaker 3: Super Bowl. But I will say I bet that I
- 29:03Speaker 3: do like on something that happened. You mentioned the sneak,
- 29:06Speaker 3: so I like there's two you can get the the
- 29:11Speaker 3: Seahawks over four and a half players rush attempt at
- 29:14Speaker 3: like plus one thirty five. I like that because you're
- 29:17Speaker 3: gonna have Darnold's definitely gonna get I shouldn'tay definitely, but
- 29:21Speaker 3: likely to get one. You know, Walker is gonna get one,
- 29:23Speaker 3: and Olani will get a couple, and then you have
- 29:28Speaker 3: Barner who does their sneaks, and then I think they're
- 29:32Speaker 3: gonna probably get a receiver, right, Shaheed probably gets to
- 29:35Speaker 3: carry at some point. So I think they go over
- 29:37Speaker 3: four and a half, but the better bet might be
- 29:39Speaker 3: over seven and a half total, because if the Seahawks
- 29:42Speaker 3: get the five. This should go over seven and a
- 29:45Speaker 3: half because you're you're gonna have May, Stevenson and uh
- 29:52Speaker 3: uh Henderson and that's that's eight and that's that's sick.
- 29:57Speaker 3: That's if the Patriots don't have anyone other anyone on
- 29:59Speaker 3: a rush, you get a you get a rush. You
- 30:00Speaker 3: could have one of the receivers like this is when
- 30:02Speaker 3: you pull out some different stops and these run defenses
- 30:04Speaker 3: are so good that you're gonna have to get creative
- 30:06Speaker 3: running the ball, and maybe there's and then you have
- 30:09Speaker 3: the chance of a backup in blah blah blah if
- 30:12Speaker 3: it's a blowout. But there's a chance that the Patriots
- 30:16Speaker 3: over these two weeks come up with a Toush push, right,
- 30:21Speaker 3: they come up with a guy that is their barner
- 30:25Speaker 3: and is they're going to be their fourth and one
- 30:27Speaker 3: sneak guy because May isn't great at it and he
- 30:29Speaker 3: really did fail at it. So like, give two weeks
- 30:31Speaker 3: to come up with they should have a Toush push guy.
- 30:35Speaker 3: So you could see another Patriot get a rush attempt
- 30:38Speaker 3: that way. So I like the over over total players
- 30:42Speaker 3: rush attempts in the game.
- 30:44Speaker 1: You said that numbers four and a half.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Four and a half of the Seahawks plus one thirty
- 30:50Speaker 3: five seven and a half total players, I think there's
- 30:56Speaker 3: a good chance that goes over. I'm just saying, like,
- 30:58Speaker 3: if the Seahawks go over four and at they get
- 31:00Speaker 3: to five, all.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Right, let me give you Let me give you guys
- 31:03Speaker 1: a separate one that's along the same lines, and then
- 31:05Speaker 1: we can kind of take a go around the horn
- 31:08Speaker 1: and take a vote on which one we like better.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Over two and a half players to attempt to pass
- 31:13Speaker 1: in the Super Bowl, you obviously have you started too
- 31:16Speaker 1: with the two quarterbacks Darnold and May. In three of
- 31:20Speaker 1: the last four Super Bowls we have seen a third
- 31:23Speaker 1: player attempt to pass. And there's a couple of different
- 31:26Speaker 1: ways that you can get there. Either punter could attempt
- 31:29Speaker 1: one on a fake. You could get either back up
- 31:31Speaker 1: in and either mop up duty or injury duty. Cooper
- 31:35Speaker 1: Cup has thrown a pass this year, so you get
- 31:37Speaker 1: one of those wide receiver trick plays. So over on
- 31:40Speaker 1: rushing seven and a half for total players to collect
- 31:44Speaker 1: a rush in the game, or over two and a
- 31:46Speaker 1: half players to attempt a pass, Kendra, where would you
- 31:51Speaker 1: land on that?
- 31:52Speaker 5: I went to add this in our notes and saw
- 31:53Speaker 5: that somebody already had, so I was very much looking
- 31:56Speaker 5: at this already. I think that we Cooper Cup, yeah,
- 31:59Speaker 5: but also maybe de Mario Douglas. I know that that's
- 32:02Speaker 5: something that has happened for the Patriots prior. They've definitely
- 32:05Speaker 5: had a receiver line up, so I could I could have.
- 32:09Speaker 5: I could totally see this happening, especially because, like I
- 32:11Speaker 5: said a few minutes ago, the name of the game
- 32:13Speaker 5: in the Super Bowl is creativity. You've had, you know,
- 32:16Speaker 5: two weeks to deep dive into everything that either team
- 32:19Speaker 5: has done all season long. You have to surprise people
- 32:22Speaker 5: at some point, and I think that this is definitely
- 32:24Speaker 5: one of the ways to do so.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Matt, where do you land on that?
- 32:27Speaker 4: I mean, if we're talking, I want to go back
- 32:30Speaker 4: to the over two and a half quarterbacks. If we
- 32:34Speaker 4: just accept, as it accompany that the gods have just
- 32:38Speaker 4: decided we must suffer beneath another Patriots run, that we
- 32:42Speaker 4: must just suffer through this absolutely miserable existence with the
- 32:47Speaker 4: Patriots being good again, with the how their schedule has
- 32:51Speaker 4: shaped up, and Brandon Aston had an absolutely banger tweet
- 32:54Speaker 4: about the number of fired coaches and terrible teams this
- 32:57Speaker 4: team has.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Faced it's eleven, isn't it?
- 32:59Speaker 4: Every thing lined up for them? Like, wouldn't the most
- 33:03Speaker 4: Patriots outcome be that Sam Darnold gets injured.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:09Speaker 1: See, that's the thing that I like about the past
- 33:12Speaker 1: prop more than the rush prop is that the threshold
- 33:16Speaker 1: is simply lower. I think you need two players to
- 33:19Speaker 1: step up and collect a run that we're not expecting.
- 33:22Speaker 4: Like if you if you hate the Patriots, that's the
- 33:25Speaker 4: bet to go for.
- 33:26Speaker 5: And Drake May's shoulder.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Yeah no, but if you get a quarterback hurt, then
- 33:31Speaker 3: you're gonna probably get another rush attempt from from the quarterback.
- 33:36Speaker 3: But I don't think there's I think there's a there's
- 33:39Speaker 3: Barner's get a carry. I think you just need one
- 33:41Speaker 3: other player. And you're saying no receivers are going to
- 33:44Speaker 3: run the ball in the game. I don't think that's
- 33:46Speaker 3: the case. So I mean you going back to the
- 33:50Speaker 3: past attempts. I don't I don't know. I don't have
- 33:52Speaker 3: a strong day. I can tell you to thirty five,
- 33:55Speaker 3: what are the odds on?
- 33:55Speaker 2: Yes?
- 33:58Speaker 5: Is it plus two fifty? Is something like that? I
- 34:01Speaker 5: put it in our notes.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Plus two fifty wouldn't be I think it is.
- 34:07Speaker 5: Plus two fifty.
- 34:08Speaker 3: I don't set one sekay like thirty five percent of
- 34:13Speaker 3: games had at least three players attempt to pass during
- 34:17Speaker 3: the season.
- 34:18Speaker 2: And you have to keep in mind.
- 34:20Speaker 3: That includes complete blowouts, right when you have teams that
- 34:25Speaker 3: are just destroying the other team and it's a huge
- 34:28Speaker 3: mismatch right now, that could happen here, But the likelihood
- 34:31Speaker 3: that you're actually blowing out the team mountain and then
- 34:33Speaker 3: throwing it with your backup. Now, I know the Eagles
- 34:36Speaker 3: did it. That's how the Eagles. That's how this got there.
- 34:37Speaker 3: Last year, the Eagles are up by so much that sorry,
- 34:41Speaker 3: Matt that that that pike, It threw it late. He
- 34:44Speaker 3: completed a pass. So there's a chance now, So that
- 34:48Speaker 3: only happened in what thirty five percent games had at
- 34:51Speaker 3: least three players throw the ball.
- 34:54Speaker 4: By the way, draft I, I'm sorry, I just have
- 34:56Speaker 4: to interject real quick, this is the meanest fucking prop
- 34:58Speaker 4: I've ever seen ever. The draftings has a prop up
- 35:02Speaker 4: for Seahawks to attempt to pass from inside the Patriots
- 35:04Speaker 4: one yard line.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Oh, that's so mean, trolling to the max.
- 35:11Speaker 4: It's it's plus six hundred. No, there's no no on it. Unfortunately,
- 35:18Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 35:19Speaker 2: There's no way they let Donald throw it at the one.
- 35:21Speaker 5: That's so yeah, that's a good point. There's no way
- 35:25Speaker 5: they let Donald.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Why I would?
- 35:27Speaker 3: I would, They're just gonna sneak barner. I wish there
- 35:31Speaker 3: was a no on that. So yeah, I mean, thirty
- 35:35Speaker 3: five games have wre and then that includes both. Now,
- 35:38Speaker 3: maybe because there's a little bit more injury risks and
- 35:40Speaker 3: this is the Super Bowl, you tend to get a
- 35:42Speaker 3: little bit more creative, but.
- 35:45Speaker 2: I'd lean now I prefer rushing myself.
- 35:47Speaker 1: All right, guys, let's get into the nitty gritty here.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Let's stalk coin toss.
- 35:51Speaker 5: I was just gonna say this.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Minus one minus one o three on both sides. And
- 35:56Speaker 1: if you follow gambling Twitter, everybody thinks they're a genius.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Most are gonna tell you that getting in anything less
- 36:02Speaker 1: than even money on an actual coin flip is perhaps
- 36:06Speaker 1: the dumbest thing that you can bet. I would say
- 36:09Speaker 1: that it's significantly less foolish than playing almost any other
- 36:13Speaker 1: table game at a casino. The house edge for roulette
- 36:16Speaker 1: is five point three percent. Minus one oh three is
- 36:19Speaker 1: significantly less than that, So it's not that dumb. Winner
- 36:23Speaker 1: of the coin toss by the way, twenty five and
- 36:25Speaker 1: thirty four straight up in the game. So if you
- 36:28Speaker 1: like that voodoo trend, just don't bet the coin toss.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Just bet the team. Bet against the team that wins
- 36:34Speaker 1: the coin toss. Twenty fifteen to twenty twenty four, the
- 36:37Speaker 1: coin toss winner lost the game. Last year the winner
- 36:41Speaker 1: also lost. There was a break in between those two years.
- 36:45Speaker 1: So Matt, you are our guests. Will you be betting
- 36:48Speaker 1: the coin toss and do you have anything that you
- 36:51Speaker 1: look at or lean into and making this decision, or
- 36:54Speaker 1: do you literally just toss a coin.
- 36:56Speaker 4: As the king of Hey, here's this dumb bet. I like,
- 37:00Speaker 4: even I think this is too dumb. This is too dumb.
- 37:03Speaker 4: This is so I get it.
- 37:05Speaker 1: I get it mathematically, it's not that bad.
- 37:08Speaker 4: Comparatively, I get the super Bowl. Like if you're at
- 37:10Speaker 4: the super Bowl party and you're like, hey, I got
- 37:12Speaker 4: you know, I've got money on the court, Like, it's
- 37:14Speaker 4: a really great You're performatively rooting for the coin toss
- 37:17Speaker 4: in front of your friends. That's a great that's a
- 37:19Speaker 4: great bit. That is an awesome bit. I just am like,
- 37:24Speaker 4: it's over so quickly, it's over. So the best things
- 37:27Speaker 4: take time.
- 37:28Speaker 3: Yeah, before play, I'm waiting to bet the coin to
- 37:31Speaker 3: I would never bet the coin toss shot her. So
- 37:36Speaker 3: but like we I actually pick a coin toss every year,
- 37:39Speaker 3: so like it.
- 37:40Speaker 2: We'll do a bar.
- 37:43Speaker 3: A sheet and then we'll have we'll print them all
- 37:47Speaker 3: out and I'll come up with like ten to fifteen questions,
- 37:50Speaker 3: right coin toss. You know, who has the first completion,
- 37:54Speaker 3: who throws the first interception, who has the first touchdown?
- 37:58Speaker 2: Who wins? You know over under, like a bunch of
- 38:02Speaker 2: who has the longest catch the first sack. You can
- 38:05Speaker 2: go up with it a bunch of different questions and
- 38:08Speaker 2: then they're worth different varying amounts of points, and then
- 38:11Speaker 2: everyone fills them out before the game and at the end,
- 38:13Speaker 2: and then everyone puts in whatever you want to do
- 38:15Speaker 2: ten twenty fifty hundred dollars. A person at the end,
- 38:18Speaker 2: whoever has the most amount of points wins. So that's
- 38:19Speaker 2: a way to bet on the coin toss.
- 38:21Speaker 3: But I would never want to lose a bet before
- 38:24Speaker 3: the game starts. That's just on something that is literally
- 38:28Speaker 3: a coin toss. But then I would say it would
- 38:30Speaker 3: be terrible. So no plus money, yes, but I bet it,
- 38:33Speaker 3: but no, Well.
- 38:34Speaker 1: They would never give you that on a coin toss.
- 38:36Speaker 1: But is there anything.
- 38:38Speaker 2: You'll be steamed? Tails? Tails?
- 38:41Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a good question for for Evan Abrams. Has
- 38:44Speaker 1: the coin toss ever been steamed?
- 38:46Speaker 3: I think there was a time that you could get
- 38:48Speaker 3: like even money. Plus I don't know. Sometimes there's a
- 38:53Speaker 3: they'll have boosts.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Like you would say promotionally that yeah, some of.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Books have promotions for it, and then ups one on
- 39:03Speaker 2: the coin. But what I don't it's the coin toss waxing.
- 39:07Speaker 1: I'm looking at my old notes and I saw something
- 39:09Speaker 1: about waxing and waning moons. Is there anything on that
- 39:13Speaker 1: with the coin toss?
- 39:14Speaker 5: The full moon was yesterday, but I don't look at that.
- 39:18Speaker 5: I usually, for some reason, every time I win the
- 39:21Speaker 5: coin toss, the rest of my bets are shit, and
- 39:24Speaker 5: every time I lose the coin toss, I win the
- 39:26Speaker 5: rest of them. So it's kind of like a prediction
- 39:29Speaker 5: thing for me, just as like a superstition. But I
- 39:31Speaker 5: usually for the coin toss wind up going heads because
- 39:35Speaker 5: I feel like everybody wants it to be tails, because
- 39:37Speaker 5: of tails never fails. But what people don't take into
- 39:40Speaker 5: consideration is that when you're flipping like a US coin,
- 39:43Speaker 5: the headside is usually a little bit heavier, and so
- 39:46Speaker 5: with these coins that are like pretty neutral most of
- 39:49Speaker 5: the time as far as weight, Like you're taking tails
- 39:52Speaker 5: just for a superstition thing.
- 39:54Speaker 4: You are.
- 39:54Speaker 1: You just layered in sharp analysis for the coin, toss.
- 39:57Speaker 1: I want you to know that you might be the.
- 39:59Speaker 5: Only person I think give me the big bucks man.
- 40:01Speaker 1: That's fantastic.
- 40:01Speaker 5: I have been trying to see this coin for days.
- 40:04Speaker 5: I looked at last year's and it was very even,
- 40:06Speaker 5: and I had heads last year, so.
- 40:09Speaker 1: Well, it rotated tails and heads over the last four years,
- 40:12Speaker 1: so no trend there. However, the last time Seattle played
- 40:15Speaker 1: New England in the Super Bowl, it did land on tails.
- 40:18Speaker 2: So if we talk about the pointoffs for one more minute,
- 40:22Speaker 2: you know, I knew.
- 40:22Speaker 4: That that was more nball.
- 40:24Speaker 5: Just go for me on the anthem.
- 40:27Speaker 1: It's stuck. You don't worry. We can all feel it.
- 40:29Speaker 1: We can all feel it. It's it's sort of like
- 40:31Speaker 1: sand sipping through the hourglass. All right, let's let's wrap
- 40:35Speaker 1: on this.
- 40:35Speaker 4: Well, I gotta give out one more NBA thing on
- 40:38Speaker 4: the show. I have to give out one more NBA thing.
- 40:40Speaker 4: That's why he brought me on the only thing I
- 40:41Speaker 4: have value. Its the only reason I exist on this planet. Okay,
- 40:44Speaker 4: that and going ahead to have with Stucky on counting
- 40:47Speaker 4: crows lyrics, there's one that Sakham points and rebounds versus
- 40:51Speaker 4: Trayvon Henderson rushing and receiving Seacam's price minus one thirty.
- 40:55Speaker 4: So I think it's interesting on this is Chris Raybond
- 40:57Speaker 4: gave out this week on Action Network and catch it
- 40:59Speaker 4: in the app up fifty plus yards for Henderson at
- 41:03Speaker 4: plus seven fifty long shot on him for one of
- 41:06Speaker 4: the props. So you can kind of take a position
- 41:09Speaker 4: that's almost it's not pure here, there's a lot of
- 41:12Speaker 4: there's some variance in there, but I almost kind of
- 41:15Speaker 4: like taking taking Siakam as the seat as the Seahawks
- 41:19Speaker 4: win that battle of the rushing game and then Henderson
- 41:22Speaker 4: breaks it according to Chris's prop. So I think there's
- 41:25Speaker 4: actually a little bit of value on looking at that
- 41:27Speaker 4: one and deciding at least which side of that coin
- 41:30Speaker 4: you're on.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Yeah, when I was looking at that one, Sorry, sorry stuck,
- 41:35Speaker 1: no more, no more coins. This one feels like free money.
- 41:39Speaker 1: With the way that Seattle is able to gobble up
- 41:42Speaker 1: an opponent's run game and Traveon Henderson has not been
- 41:47Speaker 1: involved in the receiving game. I do think that the
- 41:49Speaker 1: Patriots could possibly get creative here, as Kendro is mentioning,
- 41:53Speaker 1: because if they don't use Henderson here, I think their
- 41:56Speaker 1: ability to create explosive plays is going to be pretty
- 41:59Speaker 1: much non existent. But we just haven't seen it recently. Sam,
- 42:04Speaker 1: I mean, you kind of know what you're gonna get
- 42:05Speaker 1: from him. I feel like this is priced correctly, but
- 42:08Speaker 1: to me feels like the side so you're saying that
- 42:11Speaker 1: you think is the bet and yet and then moon
- 42:14Speaker 1: shotting Travion? Am I reading that correctly? Yeah?
- 42:17Speaker 4: Follow Do you go check out Chris Raybonds either that
- 42:19Speaker 4: or just figure out which side is more compelling to
- 42:21Speaker 4: you on that one based off of it, because it's
- 42:24Speaker 4: like if you like, if you if you if you think,
- 42:26Speaker 4: if you don't think that he's gonna do that, he's
- 42:29Speaker 4: gonna be able to hit that, he's gonna be limited,
- 42:31Speaker 4: right if you don't think that, if you want to
- 42:33Speaker 4: take on this one, just take Chris Raybonds prop.
- 42:36Speaker 3: I do think that the Patriots have to these Anderson
- 42:38Speaker 3: more in this game, and they will. We'll try to
- 42:41Speaker 3: find him.
- 42:41Speaker 5: I mean the.
- 42:43Speaker 3: Led the league in percentage of dropbacks that are dumped
- 42:47Speaker 3: down to running backs. Like that's they give up pros
- 42:50Speaker 3: to running backs. Throws the tight ends. Now, they could
- 42:52Speaker 3: change up things here, but the Patriots have to find ways.
- 42:56Speaker 3: They're not gonna have to run the ball just on
- 42:58Speaker 3: a down to down basis canstantly. The Seahawks run defense
- 43:01Speaker 3: is historically dominant, and the Patriots have been able to
- 43:04Speaker 3: run the ball against great run defenses all year and
- 43:07Speaker 3: this is the best. So I think they need Henderson,
- 43:12Speaker 3: whether it's in the run game or you know, out
- 43:15Speaker 3: of the backfield in creative ways. They need his explosive ability.
- 43:18Speaker 3: They need him to hit an explosive player too, So
- 43:21Speaker 3: I'm curious to see how they do use him. And
- 43:25Speaker 3: then if they what is that that split in the backfield, Like,
- 43:29Speaker 3: I mean, they didn't use them at all, They trusted
- 43:31Speaker 3: It's more in pass protection. Seahawks have a good they
- 43:34Speaker 3: can get pressure a good defense line, but they don't
- 43:35Speaker 3: really blitz as much. So you could as as the Broncos,
- 43:38Speaker 3: and they're not a high blifting team. So I think
- 43:40Speaker 3: this could be a game where there is some upside
- 43:43Speaker 3: with Stevenson and then speaking upside, do you guys have that?
- 43:48Speaker 2: Henderson?
- 43:49Speaker 3: Yeah, upside With Henderson speaking of upside, you guys have
- 43:52Speaker 3: a long shot m v P.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Look, Oh yes, I do. Go ahead, Matt, you go first.
- 43:58Speaker 1: I feel the need for.
- 44:00Speaker 4: I love rascheat Shaheed MVP here thirty to one. I
- 44:03Speaker 4: love it. Pot return no kickoff returns. Kasetucky commented pre
- 44:07Speaker 4: show about how rarely it just never happens in the
- 44:09Speaker 4: NFL anymore, which is insane. These rules are absolutely bonkers.
- 44:14Speaker 4: But pot return possibilities, receiving possibilities. I talked about the
- 44:17Speaker 4: end a round capability. I just I want somebody like that,
- 44:20Speaker 4: if you throw in the special team's angle of this
- 44:24Speaker 4: and that, if this is a low scoring game where
- 44:26Speaker 4: neither quarterback looks good, if it's just like a defensive
- 44:29Speaker 4: battle back and forth, but Shaheed gets a pot return
- 44:32Speaker 4: touchdown and then has a lot of receiving yards and
- 44:36Speaker 4: or another touchdown. Love for sheet shaheat here thirty to one,
- 44:39Speaker 4: give me Shaheed, I.
- 44:41Speaker 3: Would say, yeah, but you mentioned kickoffs, like it's like
- 44:44Speaker 3: twenty to one for kickoff re turn for touchdown, Just
- 44:47Speaker 3: to give you numbers on that. During the regular season,
- 44:51Speaker 3: there were I think over two thousand kick return six
- 44:54Speaker 3: went for a touchdown zero point three percent, So I
- 44:57Speaker 3: mean she did have one of them. Gibson did have
- 44:59Speaker 3: one of them for Patriots of the six, but I
- 45:03Speaker 3: need a little bit more than twenty two to one there,
- 45:07Speaker 3: and like defensive special team score I think is plus
- 45:10Speaker 3: two thirty five plus two fifty. Yes, I mean during
- 45:13Speaker 3: the regular season happened like one every four games. You
- 45:15Speaker 3: might say, like these quarterbacks, they're a little more chance
- 45:18Speaker 3: of mistakes, but you know, it only happened in three
- 45:21Speaker 3: Seahawks games, twenty percent of their total games. It happened
- 45:23Speaker 3: in five Pats games. So I mean I even better
- 45:26Speaker 3: odds than that happened overall. One in four NFL games
- 45:29Speaker 3: had a defensive or special team score this year. My
- 45:33Speaker 3: long shot, I think it's going to be a lower
- 45:35Speaker 3: scoring game. I think it's going to be close. If so,
- 45:42Speaker 3: I could see Shahid. But I do think like if
- 45:48Speaker 3: you have the Patriots in New Seahawks, these are two
- 45:49Speaker 3: electric punt returners, right, you know that you're going to
- 45:51Speaker 3: try to keep them all away from them, try to
- 45:54Speaker 3: not give them opportunities for returns.
- 45:57Speaker 2: But I'll throw out two emon Warre.
- 46:03Speaker 3: He I mean, is like a linebacker and a defensive
- 46:06Speaker 3: back that can make plays in so many different ways.
- 46:08Speaker 3: He's McDonald's chess piece. I think he's gonna use him
- 46:11Speaker 3: in a lot of creative ways here. He could make
- 46:13Speaker 3: a play or two in many different ways. Could be
- 46:15Speaker 3: a strip sack, could be a pick.
- 46:18Speaker 4: Or.
- 46:20Speaker 3: You know, maybe it's basically a quarterback, a wide receiver,
- 46:22Speaker 3: or like it's been, like a random linebacker or safety,
- 46:24Speaker 3: but or defensive end. I'll throw out Christian Gonzalez just
- 46:30Speaker 3: because if this is really low scoring and it comes
- 46:33Speaker 3: down to like that random play that happens or a
- 46:35Speaker 3: pick six, Like I said, Christian Gonzalez might either be
- 46:41Speaker 3: on JSN by himself, and in that case he's gonna
- 46:44Speaker 3: get a lot of opportunities to make plays, or they
- 46:48Speaker 3: might bracket JSN and then it's going to be they're
- 46:50Speaker 3: gonna he's gonna get targets against a way, you know,
- 46:54Speaker 3: a way way worse receiver than JSN, and he's gonna
- 46:58Speaker 3: get opportunities there. So maybe he can jump around get
- 47:02Speaker 3: a pick or two. So those will be two just
- 47:04Speaker 3: super long shots you want.
- 47:05Speaker 1: To throw on Christian Gonzalez one hundred to one. Kendrick,
- 47:09Speaker 1: what about you, long shot MVP?
- 47:11Speaker 5: I gave out Milton Williams on my show on Saturday.
- 47:14Speaker 5: You're telling me that, yes, Drake May is the best
- 47:17Speaker 5: player on the Patriots, but I would say he's the
- 47:20Speaker 5: most valuable. But Milton Williams is the best. He outside
- 47:24Speaker 5: of Drake is their number one playmaker on that team.
- 47:27Speaker 5: Whi's the most likely defensive super Bowl we've seen, and
- 47:29Speaker 5: I don't even know how long if both of these
- 47:32Speaker 5: quarterbacks turn back into shells of themselves what we've seen
- 47:35Speaker 5: from Drake May with the fumbles in the postseason, the
- 47:36Speaker 5: person we know Sam Darnold can be with the interceptions.
- 47:39Speaker 5: If this is a bad quarterbacking game, which a lot
- 47:41Speaker 5: of people are thinking, there's potential for it to beads
- 47:44Speaker 5: the first first chance they're getting on this stage, if
- 47:48Speaker 5: they both get nervous defensive football, and you're gonna give
- 47:51Speaker 5: me the Patriots second best player with those odds, he
- 47:54Speaker 5: could get a fumble, he could get a sack, he
- 47:56Speaker 5: could have both. If there's any argument that he may,
- 48:00Speaker 5: someone can make it's Milton Williams.
- 48:01Speaker 4: For me.
- 48:03Speaker 1: I am looking defense as well. I'm gonna flip to
- 48:06Speaker 1: the other team, DeMarcus Lawrence ninety to one odds on
- 48:09Speaker 1: favorite to lead the game in sacks. And here we
- 48:13Speaker 1: have Drake May that's been sacked sixty two times. That's
- 48:15Speaker 1: number one in the NFL. He's had six fumbles in
- 48:18Speaker 1: the playoffs. Five of those have come on strip sacks.
- 48:21Speaker 1: Four of those came on May's blind side. Will Campbell's
- 48:24Speaker 1: been an issue. DeMarcus Lawrence Super Bowl MVP ninety to one.
- 48:29Speaker 1: If Seattle does win in a blowout, it's going to
- 48:31Speaker 1: be because their defense just reaks havoc on that Patriots
- 48:34Speaker 1: offensive line. I don't necessarily think the game is going
- 48:37Speaker 1: to go that way, but if we're talking long shot,
- 48:39Speaker 1: I'm trying to predict an extreme game script, and the
- 48:42Speaker 1: most extreme with that is still possibility is that Seattle
- 48:47Speaker 1: just runs away with this and they do it defensively.
- 48:49Speaker 2: I will say.
- 48:50Speaker 3: Lawrence would have I think the Seahawks won a game
- 48:53Speaker 3: forty four to twenty two earlier this year, and I
- 48:55Speaker 3: think Lawrence would have won MVP if they was the
- 48:58Speaker 3: Super Bowl thirty four yard strip sack touchdown, and then
- 49:03Speaker 3: he had a twenty two yard strip sack recovery touchdown,
- 49:08Speaker 3: so he had two touchdowns in the first or almost
- 49:09Speaker 3: like identical plays. I think if you go back to
- 49:12Speaker 3: that game, he would have won MVP.
- 49:14Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 49:15Speaker 3: I mean, Darnold was ten of twelve for one hundred
- 49:17Speaker 3: and seventy eight yards a touchdown interception. I don't think
- 49:19Speaker 3: it would have been him. Maybe Jasen, but he had
- 49:21Speaker 3: five catches in a touchdown, he had ninety yards. I
- 49:24Speaker 3: think Lawrence would have won it that game. That's an
- 49:27Speaker 3: exercise I do. I go back and look who would
- 49:29Speaker 3: have won the MVPs for each team and.
- 49:33Speaker 4: What you can get. Will the Super Bowl MVP have
- 49:35Speaker 4: zero touchdowns? That would be a great bet. That'd be
- 49:38Speaker 4: a great one, great one to look at me.
- 49:40Speaker 1: You have definitely seen that in the past. Matt, Do
- 49:42Speaker 1: you have a question about bad Bunny from I do?
- 49:45Speaker 4: I do have a question about bad Bunny as an
- 49:46Speaker 4: old guy. I gotta ask Kendra this because this market
- 49:49Speaker 4: is up and I need to I need advice on
- 49:51Speaker 4: this because I think it's a great question. Okay, halftime opener?
- 49:55Speaker 4: All right, to set this up, here are the last
- 49:58Speaker 4: five did squabble up as the intro or the intro
- 50:03Speaker 4: was actually bodies and then into Squabble Up Usher open
- 50:09Speaker 4: with My Way is the intro, and then caught up.
- 50:12Speaker 4: You're not gonna do the biggest song, right, Like, that's
- 50:14Speaker 4: never gonna be the opener.
- 50:14Speaker 5: Oh god no.
- 50:16Speaker 4: Uh Rihanna's was bitch better to have My Money, which
- 50:18Speaker 4: was amazing I did.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Not have, by the way, did not have Matt Moore
- 50:22Speaker 1: saying bitch better have my money on my Can we.
- 50:26Speaker 2: Clip that and have that?
- 50:28Speaker 4: Next episode by Doctor Derey Snoop Dogg at All was
- 50:32Speaker 4: in twenty twenty two. That was the that's like a
- 50:35Speaker 4: that fits the kind of the range I think of
- 50:36Speaker 4: what we're talking about. And then the weekend was Starboy.
- 50:39Speaker 4: It opened though with a choir rendition to call out
- 50:42Speaker 4: my name. So, like, what I'm interested in on this
- 50:44Speaker 4: market is like, okay, if they're gonna count the first
- 50:47Speaker 4: song played, which isn't necessarily they don't even perform versus
- 50:51Speaker 4: the performance one, be real careful with this one. The
- 50:54Speaker 4: odds on favorite right now is Meragunto Okay, that one's
- 51:00Speaker 4: that one's the favorite right now, and then the next
- 51:02Speaker 4: highest is by A. L. B. Dablay I believe is
- 51:06Speaker 4: the root word. Kendra, what's the first song that's gonna
- 51:09Speaker 4: be played by Bad Bunny.
- 51:10Speaker 5: It has to be Monico. There is no other option
- 51:14Speaker 5: in my opinion, because I feel like he is a
- 51:16Speaker 5: theatrical performer, and I expect that violin intro to be him,
- 51:23Speaker 5: with like the lights and everything, giving people a minute
- 51:25Speaker 5: to feel him coming out, feel like the show that's
- 51:27Speaker 5: about to go down. He has to start with Monico.
- 51:30Speaker 5: It's the most iconic entrance to a song he has,
- 51:33Speaker 5: and the shot of that happening, I think, if I
- 51:36Speaker 5: am correct, Gifford sent me nineteen hundred yesterday, so I
- 51:39Speaker 5: think it has to be Monico's.
- 51:41Speaker 4: That's great, awesome.
- 51:43Speaker 1: I was researching the heads and tails of a coin
- 51:46Speaker 1: while you guys were talking about that, and there is
- 51:48Speaker 1: a slight bias to heads because of the weight. So
- 51:50Speaker 1: Kendra spot on analysis earlier on in the show. She's
- 51:54Speaker 1: winning bets for you at the start of the game,
- 51:56Speaker 1: middle of the game, possibly even the end of Milton
- 52:00Speaker 1: Williams comes through with a big one for the New
- 52:02Speaker 1: England Patriots. All right, now, let's zoom to the future
- 52:07Speaker 1: Super Champions Parlay. You can go super Chalky here. You
- 52:13Speaker 1: can also I will allow other sports to be thrown
- 52:17Speaker 1: in let's make it three legs. Super Bowl winner, two
- 52:22Speaker 1: other champions over the next year NBA, Major League Baseball,
- 52:27Speaker 1: NCAA tournament. Throw the Masters in there, real quick, off
- 52:33Speaker 1: the top of the dome, around the horn. Matt will
- 52:36Speaker 1: start with you.
- 52:37Speaker 4: Okay, I want Seahawks Celtics underrate like I get OKAC.
- 52:43Speaker 4: I know I'm telling either not as good as last year.
- 52:45Speaker 4: I haven't had a repeat champion since twenty eighteen. A
- 52:49Speaker 4: lot of injury issues for OKC this year. Good time
- 52:52Speaker 4: to get in on some of these longer shots. I
- 52:54Speaker 4: don't want the Nuggets because their route is too hard
- 52:56Speaker 4: in the West. If they get Jason Tatum back, that's great.
- 52:59Speaker 4: And then the Color Avalanche in the NHL. Their only
- 53:02Speaker 4: real problems are overtime and the power play, which I
- 53:05Speaker 4: think they're gonna address it the deadline. So give me
- 53:07Speaker 4: those three. Give me Seahawks, Celtics, Avalanche.
- 53:12Speaker 1: Kendre.
- 53:13Speaker 5: You said I can do three of the any of
- 53:15Speaker 5: the big leagues.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Three, but one of them has to be the Super Bowl, Okay.
- 53:19Speaker 5: So I'm gonna go Seahawks, Dodgers, and Houston Rockets.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Oh all right, I like that writing all these down
- 53:26Speaker 1: Seahawks Rockets, Seahawks, Rockets, and the Dodgers. Yep, yeah, the
- 53:32Speaker 1: Dodgers feel like such an easy bet here. All right, Stucky,
- 53:34Speaker 1: what about you?
- 53:35Speaker 2: I mean it's still baseball.
- 53:38Speaker 3: Like there were almost should have lost to the JS arguably.
- 53:42Speaker 2: I mean they were on the ropes. I'll say, let's
- 53:47Speaker 2: make it fun.
- 53:49Speaker 1: Seahawks Mariners, oh oh yeah, you go to All Seattle.
- 53:54Speaker 2: And thunder the ex Sonics, dig.
- 54:00Speaker 1: That the All Seattle parlay. All right, I'm gonna go
- 54:04Speaker 1: with the Spurs. I think the come up has arrived
- 54:07Speaker 1: for Victim and Binyama. The New England I'll uh, he
- 54:13Speaker 1: doesn't need to be he's an alien. I'm gonna take
- 54:16Speaker 1: the New England Patriots to win the Super Bowl, okay,
- 54:19Speaker 1: maybe the only man in America taking that side these days.
- 54:22Speaker 1: And Scottie Scheffler to win the Masters. That'll be my.
- 54:26Speaker 4: Golf.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Okay, all right, I golf on you. I was gonna
- 54:30Speaker 1: take the Dodgers, but that just felt too easy. Matt,
- 54:32Speaker 1: thanks so much for hanging out with us today. Make
- 54:35Speaker 1: sure that you go and follow up on Matt.
- 54:37Speaker 2: What are you doing for though?
- 54:38Speaker 5: What do you?
- 54:38Speaker 2: We gotta ask you that I'm.
- 54:40Speaker 4: Watching NBA games. It's what I'm doing for.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Are you serious?
- 54:46Speaker 2: You mean my replays?
- 54:48Speaker 4: I got work, I got work, I got I gotta
- 54:50Speaker 4: do film. I'm doing film work on Jeremy Buyer of
- 54:52Speaker 4: the Suns, doing a big breakdown a him. That's what
- 54:55Speaker 4: I'm doing.
- 54:55Speaker 3: No, I will.
- 54:56Speaker 4: We're making not We're making nachos with the kids and
- 55:00Speaker 4: and out, and the kids are gonna have some friends over.
- 55:01Speaker 5: I'm mad and disappointed. Why look because he because he's
- 55:05Speaker 5: gonna not watch the super Bowl.
- 55:07Speaker 4: Here's the thing, We're gonna be honest. This isn't a
- 55:09Speaker 4: This isn't a real super Bowl.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Oh my god, go back to buckets.
- 55:14Speaker 4: I'm just saying, like, this isn't a real Like we
- 55:17Speaker 4: know these teams are not that good, right, stucky, Like
- 55:20Speaker 4: we know these teams are not that good.
- 55:22Speaker 2: Uh, there's a wide open year like it could have been.
- 55:26Speaker 4: The Chiefs gave everybody one off. It's nice.
- 55:32Speaker 3: I like the Raves that are down year with injuries.
- 55:34Speaker 3: But if they got in this is why we was
- 55:36Speaker 3: so devastating. They could won the super Bowl.
- 55:37Speaker 4: Yeah, the super Bowl chance gave them one.
- 55:43Speaker 3: Shers probably didn't have the Steelers didn't have that ceiling.
- 55:47Speaker 3: This is the Panthers didn't, but like everyone else.
- 55:51Speaker 5: You forced America to watch the Taylor Swift Super Bowl.
- 55:54Speaker 5: I don't want to hear it.
- 55:55Speaker 1: Oh my god, Matt. This is like being invited to
- 55:58Speaker 1: a wedding and then saying the chicken socked. Okay, this
- 56:01Speaker 1: is not yes, yeah.
- 56:04Speaker 4: This is not just saying we all know it's a
- 56:07Speaker 4: fake year. It's okay. There's astra seasons.
- 56:09Speaker 1: All the time. Horrible behavior by you. Go back to buckets,
- 56:13Speaker 1: Matt Moore, Ladies and gentlemen. That'll do it for today's
