- 1:31Speaker 1: the songs day. Yeah. Yeah, So we wrote a couple
- 1:32Speaker 1: of songs, yeah, just Co're trying to get them on
- 1:34Speaker 1: the radio. It's just like our side thing, so we
- 1:37Speaker 1: do like this is some fun. Yeah, skin songs on
- 1:40Speaker 1: the radio. But I'm going to play a little bit
- 1:42Speaker 1: of each one for you. This is shalants.
- 1:47Speaker 3: I don't know how to look you in the eyes?
- 1:51Speaker 3: Is the even worth this time? I missed the way
- 1:56Speaker 3: we do night.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Now it's just side holding on to something that's gone.
- 2:08Speaker 1: I feel like I need to hit the course. Yeah,
- 2:11Speaker 1: I'm still I love the chorus of this in the ruins.
- 2:15Speaker 1: People think I'm the leave travel your confusion. Okay, that's
- 2:27Speaker 1: your lot. Okay. Next up is his p O V.
- 2:32Speaker 1: This is this was so fun to make. Yeah's missing
- 2:39Speaker 1: the bishop, poking circles, hit by boom and running of views.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Nothing too.
- 2:46Speaker 4: She lets his jokes, but she's texting me to today's
- 2:49Speaker 4: the day. That's what I was saying, my throne, but
- 2:53Speaker 4: I still delayed. Yeah she's gorgeous.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Yeah I know that. Yeah she's dready. That's nothing, but
- 3:01Speaker 1: you ever see me like.
- 3:15Speaker 5: That?
- 3:15Speaker 1: Is his pray. Next up his Love a Boy's version.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Should I try and get to the chorus of this one?
- 3:22Speaker 1: Like into it a bit? Yeah? Okay, I'll go skip
- 3:24Speaker 1: a bit. It's the best one.
- 3:34Speaker 6: That starts nasty times.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Friend, say, so those are songs if you haven't heard them,
- 3:54Speaker 1: and we're trying on the radio for fun, fun, but
- 3:59Speaker 1: also I was thinking just then.
- 4:01Speaker 2: For all the people who don't listen to podcast, there
- 4:03Speaker 2: is is need to experience those songs.
- 4:07Speaker 1: They're amazing. We're thinking of all the elderly exactly.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Yeah, and we left you last week on the update
- 4:14Speaker 2: that we're waiting on Jimmy and Nath and we hadn't
- 4:18Speaker 2: heard back really from anyone else. We had a radio
- 4:20Speaker 2: station start on a four point five near us and
- 4:23Speaker 2: they said they'll take it to their.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Music team kind of didn't go anywhere ye want. I
- 4:27Speaker 1: also add in Jimmy and Nath sh aired us. Yeah,
- 4:30Speaker 1: so they can. Well he's in like Spain or something,
- 4:32Speaker 1: didn't they just run on the book Build Bulls mate,
- 4:35Speaker 1: they can they can reply to an email. Yeah, I'm
- 4:37Speaker 1: done with them. We're done.
- 4:38Speaker 2: In Australia, we're done with them. We went to Spotify
- 4:41Speaker 2: and they are helping, but that takes time. The big
- 4:44Speaker 2: dogs take time. And we said Australia we can do better.
- 4:49Speaker 1: We can do better. So Jak in the background, you
- 4:52Speaker 1: take it away. Well, we got an email from a
- 4:56Speaker 1: baddie that goes by the name of Lisa. Always come
- 5:00Speaker 1: back to the baddies, Yeah, it always comes back to
- 5:01Speaker 1: the baddies. And her email was, let me just I
- 5:05Speaker 1: have a feeling I read it last week to everyone.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Let me just you know, read it one more one
- 5:11Speaker 1: more time. Hey, Jake and ODDI absolutely love the podcast.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I think you guys are amazing and hilarious and so creative.
- 5:16Speaker 1: And we'll tell everyone I talked to about the show,
- 5:19Speaker 1: so I bud add that. Anyway, I'm not sure if
- 5:21Speaker 1: this is the kind of radio station you are hoping
- 5:23Speaker 1: to get your baddie super hits played on. But I'm
- 5:26Speaker 1: a radio host and DJ for my college radio station
- 5:29Speaker 1: in Oregon, USA. I could pretty easily book a slot
- 5:32Speaker 1: on air. The booth is not busy in summer since
- 5:35Speaker 1: all the graduates are gone, and play a track or
- 5:38Speaker 1: why not all three? She sent us a link to
- 5:40Speaker 1: the website. It's called KBVR fm dot orangemedianetwork dot com. Okay, now,
- 5:51Speaker 1: basically I sorted out a phone call with Lisa. We've
- 5:56Speaker 1: got Lisa on the phone. We've already talked to her, a,
- 5:59Speaker 1: but you are about to hear the conversation. Yep. And
- 6:03Speaker 1: it was a little bit tecky with the time zones,
- 6:05Speaker 1: but we got there in the end. We got there
- 6:06Speaker 1: in the end to stick around. I'm excited. Just enjoy guys. Hello, Lisa,
- 6:13Speaker 1: how's it going, Jake Funny?
- 6:16Speaker 6: Hi, I'm so good.
- 6:17Speaker 1: How are you guys? We are going good. We're super excited.
- 6:21Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm very excited.
- 6:24Speaker 1: That is so fucking cool. No, you you think this
- 6:29Speaker 1: is cool. No, this is cool for us. Yeah, this
- 6:32Speaker 1: is word on the street. Is you're the host of
- 6:35Speaker 1: a profound radio station in the US. Yes, high class
- 6:41Speaker 1: in the United States radio station. One of the top
- 6:43Speaker 1: dogs we're hearing.
- 6:45Speaker 6: Yes, top ten for sure.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Take that'll take that.
- 6:53Speaker 6: I don't mean to brag here or like compete with
- 6:55Speaker 6: you guys, but I am an award winning podcast. It's
- 6:59Speaker 6: like linked with the radio show. Yeah, yeah, yeah, this
- 7:01Speaker 6: is the real deal, you guys. It's called Inspiration Dissemination.
- 7:09Speaker 6: We it's like a group of us where I'm a
- 7:11Speaker 6: grad student at Oregon State University and we like interview
- 7:14Speaker 6: other graduate students at our university about their research once
- 7:18Speaker 6: a week. Yeah, so I don't know. It's kind of geeky.
- 7:20Speaker 6: It's about science, but very cool.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Your award winning we have no award.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Yes.
- 7:30Speaker 6: Yet you know you know you shoot for the stars.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Guys.
- 7:33Speaker 1: That is that is awesome. We should ask you for
- 7:35Speaker 1: some tips today.
- 7:39Speaker 6: No, I think you guys are way more successful at
- 7:42Speaker 6: this point than I am.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I will take it. We'll take it, okay, So please
- 7:47Speaker 1: give us a rundown of what you're So you host
- 7:50Speaker 1: a radio show, A time slow on a radio show?
- 7:52Speaker 6: Correct, yeah, although not not in the summer. So the way,
- 7:57Speaker 6: because it's like a university hosted radio station. Like in
- 8:01Speaker 6: the summer, you know, most students go away and home,
- 8:04Speaker 6: so there's like a more loose schedule in the summer,
- 8:07Speaker 6: so I can basically, I'm like, you know, a trained
- 8:10Speaker 6: DJ at the radio station, So I can basically book
- 8:13Speaker 6: into any free slots and just like do a DJ session.
- 8:17Speaker 6: And I could if I wanted to, I could play
- 8:19Speaker 6: Battie for an hour.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I mean yes, but yeah, totally guys.
- 8:35Speaker 6: The songs are so good.
- 8:37Speaker 1: No, that was next question. So what did you think.
- 8:42Speaker 6: They they're they're so varied, but they're all just so
- 8:46Speaker 6: special and unique.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I don't even know.
- 8:48Speaker 6: I don't even know how. I don't even know how
- 8:51Speaker 6: I would pick one. So I kind of want to
- 8:53Speaker 6: play all three, but you know, I also want to
- 8:55Speaker 6: get people, you know, like do we tease you know,
- 8:58Speaker 6: the audience and get them that go and check you
- 9:00Speaker 6: guys out. But also let's just play it for an hour?
- 9:04Speaker 1: I like that. And what's the radio station? Cold? And
- 9:08Speaker 1: can we listen over here in Australia?
- 9:11Speaker 6: Yeah, so it's called KDVR FM and we Yeah, there's
- 9:16Speaker 6: like a live stream that's that plays online, So you guys,
- 9:20Speaker 6: we could like schedule a time. I guess maybe this
- 9:24Speaker 6: this kind of hour works well for your you guys
- 9:27Speaker 6: and me, So I could try and schedule this kind
- 9:31Speaker 6: of time and then you guys could listen live have
- 9:35Speaker 6: played on live US radio.
- 9:40Speaker 1: And everyone listening.
- 9:41Speaker 2: It's about ten fifty Australia time Astralia stand time, which
- 9:46Speaker 2: is what time's that you're in LA?
- 9:47Speaker 1: What time is that?
- 9:49Speaker 6: No, I'm yeah, I'm in organ I'm in the LA
- 9:51Speaker 6: time zone. So it's like five fifty pm.
- 9:54Speaker 1: It works out well, Hey, that works out great. Okay,
- 9:56Speaker 1: So we go to fermom and how much laid time
- 10:00Speaker 1: do you need to make these happen. Yeah, well, I.
- 10:04Speaker 6: Live like an hour away from where campus is, so
- 10:08Speaker 6: you know, I don't know like a little bit of advance.
- 10:11Speaker 6: I am currently looking at the schedule and this slot,
- 10:16Speaker 6: like on a Monday, is free. I don't know if
- 10:18Speaker 6: you guys want to wait a week.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, this comes out next Monday.
- 10:27Speaker 6: So us talking right now? Yeah, so wow, we're in
- 10:33Speaker 6: the future.
- 10:34Speaker 1: So yeah, this comes out pretty much one week from now.
- 10:39Speaker 5: Oh, so you guys would.
- 10:40Speaker 6: Want to already feature the like you guys listening, like
- 10:44Speaker 6: the recording of you guys listening to the live show next.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Week, so next week we would record it and.
- 10:49Speaker 6: Then okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah it would.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Yeah that works out well, yeah.
- 10:53Speaker 6: I think it does, and then it would come out
- 10:54Speaker 6: the following week.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Yeah but yeah this like this.
- 10:57Speaker 6: Time yeah yeah yeah, but yeah, this time slot is
- 11:02Speaker 6: free on Mondays, so I could book in for next
- 11:06Speaker 6: Monday around this time and then Okay.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Basically what makes this slightly confusing is so for right now,
- 11:13Speaker 1: for us, it's the fifteenth and for you it's the fourteenth.
- 11:16Speaker 6: Right you guys, You guys are the future.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Yeah, we are in the future. But if we were
- 11:20Speaker 1: to say it to everyone. So if we do it
- 11:24Speaker 1: via Australian time because the most amount of our listeners
- 11:29Speaker 1: listeners are Australian, but we can still tell them maybe Okay,
- 11:33Speaker 1: on Tuesday the twenty second, we will be listening to
- 11:40Speaker 1: the radio station that is going to be playing Baddie
- 11:43Speaker 1: courtesy of Lisa the Genius, and it'll be at ten am.
- 11:50Speaker 1: That's when we will start. We'll start recording it like
- 11:52Speaker 1: nine fifty and be ready at ten am Australian Sydney time.
- 12:00Speaker 1: And if you're in America and you're on LA time,
- 12:03Speaker 1: that means it's on the twenty first on a Monday
- 12:06Speaker 1: at five pm. I'm proud of you for getting that
- 12:08Speaker 1: all out. Yeah that was confusing. Yeah, I am so
- 12:12Speaker 1: impressed my mom my mom lives in Canada and my
- 12:15Speaker 1: family family that live in Canada and they're on LA
- 12:17Speaker 1: time because like Vancouver and my whole life, I've been
- 12:20Speaker 1: working out that time zone. Yeah, well that works out great.
- 12:23Speaker 1: We got there, a good job, Thank you.
- 12:25Speaker 3: We will.
- 12:26Speaker 1: We'll write it all down perfectly in the description of
- 12:28Speaker 1: this episode. So it's it's weird to think that everyone
- 12:30Speaker 1: listening to the MSPE right now is going to be
- 12:32Speaker 1: listening to the radio tomorrow. And but yeah, Lisa, thank
- 12:38Speaker 1: you so so much. Again. What was your podcast called?
- 12:40Speaker 1: Give it another shout out?
- 12:42Speaker 5: Oh?
- 12:43Speaker 6: Inspiration dissemination? Wait, real, real quick, before you guys go,
- 12:48Speaker 6: I have two ideas. One is, you guys could record
- 12:53Speaker 6: a little like sound clips. You know, you could talk.
- 12:56Speaker 6: You know, you could like preface the song or the
- 12:58Speaker 6: EP if you wanted to. No pressure, you don't have to,
- 13:01Speaker 6: but you know, if you wanted to talk to you know,
- 13:03Speaker 6: the people of Corvallis or again, you could do that.
- 13:09Speaker 6: And then the other thing is, because of like you know,
- 13:12Speaker 6: legality reasons, I'm not allowed to play anything from Spotify,
- 13:17Speaker 6: so you guys would need to send me like the
- 13:19Speaker 6: actual audio.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Yeah it's the songs are not lostns to anyone apart
- 13:26Speaker 1: from us, so we aren't all the right. Yeah, we
- 13:29Speaker 1: give you old permission and we want no royalties.
- 13:31Speaker 3: We want.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Guys.
- 13:34Speaker 6: Don't say that yet. You guys should get rich on.
- 13:37Speaker 1: This, but you guys can be How many people listen
- 13:41Speaker 1: to the radio station. Do you have numbers?
- 13:45Speaker 6: I'm sorry, I don't have numbers. So many people, so
- 13:48Speaker 6: many people? Yes, yes, yeah, I've lost tracks.
- 13:56Speaker 2: We want to say a big thank you, I think
- 13:59Speaker 2: the best. We'd like to say thank you, but we're
- 14:01Speaker 2: going to send you like the relatables merch we've got.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Oh yeah, text me on WhatsApp your address and we'll
- 14:06Speaker 1: send you some merch just to say thank you.
- 14:07Speaker 5: What oh guys, that's so sick.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 14:12Speaker 6: I've been meaning to become, you know, a Patreon member,
- 14:15Speaker 6: but I'm a poor little student, so you know, maybe
- 14:17Speaker 6: maybe once I make more money, I'll be one of those.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Actually, we can't even give out Patreon memberships for free. Yeah, yeah,
- 14:25Speaker 1: it's no drama. They really just don't let you do it.
- 14:33Speaker 6: Damn all the rules, all the rules.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Just go sell the merch for like whatever you can
- 14:37Speaker 1: and then you can.
- 14:43Speaker 6: Amazing. Okay, okay, so we've got this figure it out.
- 14:47Speaker 6: Maybe we'll just confirm like on WHAT'SAP for an email?
- 14:50Speaker 6: Right yeah, okay, awesome, awesome, but I will I will
- 14:53Speaker 6: book us in that time spot next week.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Thank you so much, I think, yeah, you, Well, I'm
- 15:03Speaker 1: excited we're going to be in here recording an episode
- 15:05Speaker 1: live reactions to getting on the radio with Hey from
- 15:09Speaker 1: Lisa's mouth. Too many people listen to it that they
- 15:11Speaker 1: can't even counter. Yeah, there's no system big enough to
- 15:14Speaker 1: count how many people listen to the radio. All I
- 15:17Speaker 1: gotta say is the biggest radio station in Australia, we
- 15:20Speaker 1: know how many listeners they get because they can count it.
- 15:22Speaker 1: They have a system that can count it bigger and
- 15:27Speaker 1: America is such a bigger place, So this is like
- 15:30Speaker 1: better than all the Australian radio stations, bloody oath. So
- 15:35Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know what else to say apart
- 15:37Speaker 1: from in the dates we will from here we'll go
- 15:41Speaker 1: get everything locked in and maybe if we're feeling up
- 15:46Speaker 1: to it, when we're done recording all this, we'll get
- 15:48Speaker 1: the in film. Just record a little tight, a little
- 15:50Speaker 1: slot to give you the exact numbers that will go
- 15:51Speaker 1: in right now. Okay, guys, we're here to confirm that
- 15:57Speaker 1: ten am Tuesday, the twenty second Australian Eastern Time, so Sydney,
- 16:07Speaker 1: the hits from Battie will be played on KBVRFM dot
- 16:14Speaker 1: Orange Media Network dot Com for an hour. Link will
- 16:21Speaker 1: be in the description of this video. Yes, and also
- 16:24Speaker 1: on Instagram. Yes.
- 16:26Speaker 2: And we might have been preface on Instagram that this
- 16:28Speaker 2: is happening, yes, the day before, so you guys can
- 16:30Speaker 2: prepare maybe take work off again in.
- 16:34Speaker 1: The morning, off just calling sick for the morning, a
- 16:36Speaker 1: doctor's appointment. It is, tell the bus you have something
- 16:38Speaker 1: better to do. So if you're because it's being played
- 16:43Speaker 1: in America, I'll give the American time LA time zone
- 16:48Speaker 1: Monday because of the time difference, five pm LA time
- 16:53Speaker 1: zone Monday the twenty first.
- 16:55Speaker 2: But yeah, and if we could ask one final thing
- 16:58Speaker 2: for all the batties plan to listen, could you please
- 17:01Speaker 2: record your reactions whilst you're listening and send them to
- 17:06Speaker 2: us on Instagram?
- 17:07Speaker 1: Please?
- 17:08Speaker 2: Yeah, just vibeing out, maybe with the whole fam, the dog, yeah, anyone. Yeah,
- 17:12Speaker 2: and we want them and we're going to put them
- 17:13Speaker 2: on the story. But also we just want to see
- 17:15Speaker 2: the batties. We'll put them in the episode of the
- 17:17Speaker 2: week after.
- 17:19Speaker 1: So this has been fun. Yeah, but let me just
- 17:22Speaker 1: until it's done. It's not done yet, but it's not
- 17:24Speaker 1: quite the cigar. It's not too much champagne. I think
- 17:27Speaker 1: we should buy little fingers that just we got to
- 17:31Speaker 1: the radio. Let's go. It hasn't happened yet. We can't
- 17:33Speaker 1: get ahead of ourselves. Okay, but thank you, Moving on, baddies.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Before we get into the IRG question. I just wanted
- 17:48Speaker 1: to say, there's a little thing called Patreon. Patreon, we
- 17:51Speaker 1: do you want a little thing here. I don't know
- 17:52Speaker 1: if you've heard about it. We've mentioned a couple of times.
- 17:54Speaker 1: But if we're doing the sort of thing where we
- 17:55Speaker 1: once we get one thousand paid members, we're going to
- 17:57Speaker 1: do a live show. You've heard and also, so what
- 18:00Speaker 1: are they going on Patreon?
- 18:01Speaker 2: They get an extra episode every single week exclusive to Patreon,
- 18:06Speaker 2: and even better, you get the book club five days early.
- 18:11Speaker 1: And there's something else coming I don't know, but otherwise,
- 18:16Speaker 1: just please enjoy Patreon. And it also helps usk do
- 18:19Speaker 1: you what we do it does? It helps provide to
- 18:22Speaker 1: the cause. Yeah, it provides food and power to relatable
- 18:26Speaker 1: So then we are nourished and lit and recorded and
- 18:32Speaker 1: can get these episodes out to you in a smooth,
- 18:34Speaker 1: calmly manner. Exactly. But we really appreciate, appreciate all the support. Yes,
- 18:39Speaker 1: and thank you very much. Next up agi question. As
- 18:43Speaker 1: you've all probably seen on TikTok, there's a bit of
- 18:45Speaker 1: a trend going around. We're slightly late, slightly but still
- 18:49Speaker 1: it's fun. Yeah, it is fun, and it's bare minimum
- 18:52Speaker 1: or princess treatment and the videos are a girlfriend asking
- 18:58Speaker 1: her boyfriend so scenarios and then saying, is this bare
- 19:01Speaker 1: minimal princess treatment? And then if he gets it wrong,
- 19:05Speaker 1: something happens to them. I saw one you send it
- 19:08Speaker 1: to me. I saw it before you said it where
- 19:09Speaker 1: a girl was holding a hose and if he got
- 19:11Speaker 1: it wrong, she'd spray him. And I was like, dude,
- 19:14Speaker 1: just say they're all bare minimum.
- 19:15Speaker 2: You're idiot, But we're going to get to the bottom
- 19:18Speaker 2: of them, say our two cents. Basically, we're not going
- 19:23Speaker 2: to do that, but because we could just say all
- 19:24Speaker 2: of them are the bare minimum, yeah, it's actually kind
- 19:27Speaker 2: of decipher.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to decipher them. Yeah, yeah, but I
- 19:31Speaker 1: will say I asked everyone to give it, give a scenario,
- 19:36Speaker 1: and then give the answer. So I've got a few
- 19:38Speaker 1: with answers.
- 19:39Speaker 2: I've only got two of it, so we could get
- 19:41Speaker 2: these wrong. Okay, I'm going to start bare minimum or
- 19:46Speaker 2: princess treatment after care, post sex.
- 19:52Speaker 1: After care, post sex. I'm just picturing me and the
- 19:56Speaker 1: girlfriend and I'm Beth with a hose, after care, both sex.
- 20:02Speaker 1: What does that mean? After cares, like making sure they're comfortable,
- 20:06Speaker 1: bare minimum? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, but they enjoyed it.
- 20:09Speaker 1: I could do to improve. What were you thinking, like, well,
- 20:12Speaker 1: when you useweet treats this after care. I was thinking,
- 20:15Speaker 1: when you go buy an Apple product and they asked
- 20:17Speaker 1: you want Apple care, I feel like that's princess treatment
- 20:20Speaker 1: for my computer.
- 20:21Speaker 5: You know.
- 20:21Speaker 1: And I was like, what is it? I'm pretty sure
- 20:25Speaker 1: that's what been I think they AFTU care. That makes sense, yeah,
- 20:27Speaker 1: make sure? Yeah, bare minimum. Okay, this one doesn't have
- 20:31Speaker 1: an answer. This it's just stuff to us, bare minimum
- 20:35Speaker 1: or princess treatment. Making all the high lords give you
- 20:40Speaker 1: their powers to keep you alive. I think that's princess treatment. Same, yeah,
- 20:53Speaker 1: she was dead. It would only.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Happen to someone like favor. I think, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 20:59Speaker 2: that's princess for sure. She's a lucky girl, very lucky
- 21:04Speaker 2: have Reese by her sides. We can't all be even
- 21:07Speaker 2: tam at that point, to.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Be honest, actually, at that point it wasn't yeah even
- 21:11Speaker 1: he was treating her princess at that point.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Okay, But a controversy around this one, oh okay, shit,
- 21:18Speaker 2: not that type of controversy. Bare minimum or princess treatment.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Filling up her water bottle.
- 21:29Speaker 1: I absolutely hate to say it. But the words coming
- 21:33Speaker 1: out of my mouth, they're coming through gritted teeth. But
- 21:37Speaker 1: bare minimum. It's I hate to say it's bare minimum,
- 21:44Speaker 1: but I also I am not afraid to admit I
- 21:46Speaker 1: hate doing it. I have to agree, but I make
- 21:50Speaker 1: it seem like it's princess treat The way I act
- 21:54Speaker 1: on my feet are heavy one. I'm walking down the
- 21:55Speaker 1: stairs to go get it. It's all about the timing too.
- 21:58Speaker 1: We see like we should be making us like she's
- 22:02Speaker 1: I've gotten into bed, or I'm putting my feet into bed,
- 22:05Speaker 1: pulling the covers up, and goes, can you go fill
- 22:09Speaker 1: my water? It's at that point it feels like princess treatment.
- 22:13Speaker 1: But I know it's bare minimum. It is. It sucks
- 22:16Speaker 1: to say it, but it is. It feels like princess
- 22:20Speaker 1: treatment that I mean. I think it's bare minimum. If yeah,
- 22:25Speaker 1: I'm not in bed yet, but if I'm in bed,
- 22:28Speaker 1: I feel like there shouldn't be a like contingency, there's
- 22:31Speaker 1: no yeah, yeah, let's just bare minimum out right. Okay,
- 22:37Speaker 1: this one came with an answer, Okay, good, bare minimum
- 22:44Speaker 1: or princess treatment. Filling up your car and paying for it.
- 22:49Speaker 2: I saw a lot about filling up your car, and
- 22:53Speaker 2: I was like, is this a thing girls want?
- 22:55Speaker 1: Yeah, but also paying for it. I think the answer
- 23:01Speaker 1: is going to be bare minimum. But I think that's
- 23:05Speaker 1: princess or depends contextually. If I'm driving her car and
- 23:08Speaker 1: she's lent me it, I think it's bare minimum to fill.
- 23:10Speaker 1: I'm not with that. We're not going to that. I
- 23:12Speaker 1: think it's princess treatment then, so do I. Yeah, and
- 23:15Speaker 1: it is, Okay, that's what they certainly say. That's what yeah,
- 23:20Speaker 1: bare minimum. Yeah.
- 23:21Speaker 2: What I was saying is like, if you borrow a car,
- 23:22Speaker 2: drove like the Sydney or something, and came back, you'd
- 23:24Speaker 2: fill it up.
- 23:25Speaker 1: That's leave it where it was at. Yeah. I would
- 23:27Speaker 1: even like fill all the way, igine that it's halfway.
- 23:30Speaker 1: You drive to Sydney and back, and then just fill
- 23:32Speaker 1: it back up the halfway way. Yeah. I used to
- 23:35Speaker 1: do that with if I ever borrowed my dad's car,
- 23:37Speaker 1: I would do it. I would only fill it up
- 23:39Speaker 1: back to where it was.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:40Speaker 1: And also I retro I could have just not even
- 23:42Speaker 1: filled it up.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah, alrighty, bare minimum or princess treatment saying I
- 23:49Speaker 2: love you every night before bed?
- 23:51Speaker 1: Bare minimum agreed? Yeah, yeah, bare minimum I I can't
- 23:55Speaker 1: go to that. People forget surely not. I feel like
- 23:59Speaker 1: you get a good sleep if you say it, I am.
- 24:03Speaker 1: It's like I say it multiple times just to make
- 24:06Speaker 1: sure I said it. Yeah, as if I forgot, I'll
- 24:11Speaker 1: tell you something cringe we do in our relationship at
- 24:14Speaker 1: the moment. But I love it, okay. Is we're taking
- 24:18Speaker 1: weeks of who so I say I love you first,
- 24:21Speaker 1: and then she'll say I love you more? Okay, And
- 24:23Speaker 1: we're taking weeks of who says I love you more.
- 24:26Speaker 1: You're taking weeks so this week is Cassie's the one
- 24:29Speaker 1: who loves me more? And I'm like, I'm soaking it up.
- 24:33Speaker 1: You're not allowed to argue it. Yeah, you're not allowed
- 24:34Speaker 1: to say I love you most. Yeah, and then next
- 24:36Speaker 1: week I'm gonna love more Cassie more. That is so funny. Yeah,
- 24:40Speaker 1: So yeah, we're taking weeks. It feels good man, you
- 24:44Speaker 1: soak it up and playing it? Is it good? You
- 24:46Speaker 1: know what I said it last night? The argument of
- 24:49Speaker 1: when you say I love you and then she says
- 24:52Speaker 1: I love you more and you say, well, I love
- 24:53Speaker 1: you most, and she goes, well, I love you more
- 24:55Speaker 1: than that, Like you can't do that, yeah, exactly, do
- 24:56Speaker 1: that I love you most. I said it. This takes
- 24:58Speaker 1: that out of the equation, and so feel really good
- 25:00Speaker 1: to say I love you more and then accept it.
- 25:02Speaker 1: But then the next week when they say I love
- 25:04Speaker 1: you more and you just accept it, you feel loved more. Yeah,
- 25:06Speaker 1: I feel more love this week. It's a great feeling, bro,
- 25:10Speaker 1: because we used to do like how much do you
- 25:12Speaker 1: love me? And it's like to the moon and back
- 25:13Speaker 1: and yeah, and there's another five minutes of conversations that's gone.
- 25:22Speaker 1: That's so funny. I think I am. I might try
- 25:25Speaker 1: a little cheeky tactic when I say I'm going to
- 25:28Speaker 1: say I love you all right, she's gonna say I
- 25:29Speaker 1: love you more. I'm just not gonna reply. I don't
- 25:33Speaker 1: know if that's a tactic without without her saying anything,
- 25:35Speaker 1: and I'll just be like, oh, okay, that's nice.
- 25:38Speaker 2: You should try, just for fun, in a playful manner.
- 25:41Speaker 2: When she says I love you, just say like you
- 25:44Speaker 2: live together? So yeah, yeah, okay, you'll like roll over
- 25:48Speaker 2: and be in your face, I have you forget?
- 25:51Speaker 1: Yeah, oh Kane, hell you could never Okay, bare minimum
- 25:56Speaker 1: Princess treatment tracking their cycle. I would say I would say,
- 26:09Speaker 1: having a knowledge of it is their minimum, and then like,
- 26:14Speaker 1: exactly is maybe princess They've said princess treatment. Okay, I
- 26:18Speaker 1: do think because I don't track it to a day,
- 26:21Speaker 1: but I do have a not I think just a baseline.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I know whereabouts each month, and I know that subtract
- 26:25Speaker 1: two days breach time pretty much. Yeah, but just a
- 26:28Speaker 1: round about Yeah, yeah, I think so, I mean I
- 26:31Speaker 1: would think that is princess treatment.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Yeah, well, going off that bare minimum or princess treatment,
- 26:39Speaker 2: buying period products for her?
- 26:42Speaker 1: Oh you know what, Ah, let me think about this.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Oh shit, when I think about the right, if I'm
- 26:57Speaker 1: going grocery shop because I live with Beth, yeah, it
- 26:59Speaker 1: would be it's a lot, it would be more maybe normal,
- 27:05Speaker 1: maybe not. But like when you go in grocery shopping,
- 27:09Speaker 1: it really wouldn't be that hard to just go pick
- 27:11Speaker 1: up a five dollar pack of tampons. So I'm gonna
- 27:15Speaker 1: say bare minimum, but admittedly I don't do it. I
- 27:18Speaker 1: don't do it either, Like I'll go pick up tampons
- 27:21Speaker 1: for her if she has her period and she said
- 27:24Speaker 1: that she's run out, I'll run out and get them,
- 27:26Speaker 1: but only when she's in need. I do feel as
- 27:30Speaker 1: though it would be bare minimum to just pick them
- 27:33Speaker 1: up every now and then if I see them, so
- 27:35Speaker 1: she has them when she needs them, so then she
- 27:36Speaker 1: never needs them. True.
- 27:38Speaker 2: I think it's the gesture what matters, So I think
- 27:42Speaker 2: it's bare minimum as well do it though never do I.
- 27:47Speaker 2: But other end of the spectrum, I do buy her
- 27:51Speaker 2: more sweet tweets or true stuff like that when it
- 27:54Speaker 2: is that time.
- 27:55Speaker 1: True, which I don't know. Not trying to justify my actions,
- 27:58Speaker 1: but I have no justification. Yeah, how could you admit that?
- 28:02Speaker 1: I'll try and do better. Let us know about that one. Yeah,
- 28:05Speaker 1: I want to. I would actually liked to hear opinions
- 28:07Speaker 1: on that. Do you expect that? I don't think that
- 28:10Speaker 1: would expect that they expected at all. I think it'd
- 28:12Speaker 1: just be like, oh, you're thinking about me. I still
- 28:14Speaker 1: think it's a fucking crime to charge for tampons when
- 28:18Speaker 1: it's something they need. Yeah. So there was an issue
- 28:21Speaker 1: in the government. There was a one month there was
- 28:23Speaker 1: a once per month issue where women were bleeding still
- 28:27Speaker 1: are right from the start of our days. And then
- 28:31Speaker 1: someone's come in and created a solution where you can
- 28:33Speaker 1: put this thing inside it soak ups the blood soaks
- 28:35Speaker 1: up the blood and you don't have to worry about leakage,
- 28:37Speaker 1: don't have to worry about that. You can go to work,
- 28:39Speaker 1: you can live your normal life. And then they started
- 28:40Speaker 1: charging money for it, so they saw a problem, fix
- 28:43Speaker 1: the problem, charge money for it. Should be at least subsidized.
- 28:45Speaker 1: I know it's cheap already, Like it's just fucking blame.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Like you said, if it was a man's problem, it'd
- 28:53Speaker 1: be fixed all free. Yeah three fixed or free? Yeah time? Yeah.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Bare minimum or princess treatment. Hating the people. She hates
- 29:05Speaker 1: bare minimum. That's easy to correct.
- 29:07Speaker 2: I like doing that correct bare minimum or princess treatment.
- 29:11Speaker 2: This one has an answer. He plans a date from
- 29:15Speaker 2: start to finish. Bare minimum, They said, princess treatment.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Who are you dating?
- 29:20Speaker 1: I know men? There you go, that's crazy. No, it's
- 29:24Speaker 1: bare minimum. Hard do some guys just like plan the
- 29:29Speaker 1: start and be like metea at six. That's it, let's
- 29:32Speaker 1: just figure it out. Yeah, I'm not a big fan
- 29:34Speaker 1: of meet me at the place. Well, it's good for
- 29:37Speaker 1: first date, like if you want to get out of jail,
- 29:39Speaker 1: I'll pick you up. Sometimes it's not safe for true
- 29:42Speaker 1: Sometimes maybe a woman wouldn't want to be picked up
- 29:44Speaker 1: because they don't want to.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Yeah, like have the guy. I think they find the
- 29:48Speaker 2: first couple of dates to meet at the location. Maybe yeah,
- 29:52Speaker 2: I'll like the car park.
- 29:53Speaker 1: So then you always have a contingency plan to get
- 29:56Speaker 1: true What do the guys are creep? Yeah, okay, this
- 29:59Speaker 1: one has an answer. Okay, this bare minimum or princess treatment.
- 30:07Speaker 1: The guy sends rides to pick up and drop off
- 30:11Speaker 1: the lady or do the drive himself every time? Where
- 30:15Speaker 1: which one is it? Or it's both things? So like
- 30:18Speaker 1: basically if he's not sending a ride to pick her up,
- 30:20Speaker 1: he's going to pick her up himself. Oh bare minimum?
- 30:26Speaker 1: So but so you're telling me that if you can't
- 30:28Speaker 1: go pick Cassie up, you send a ride to pick
- 30:30Speaker 1: her up or no, I don't do it. I don't
- 30:32Speaker 1: do it.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Why don't do anything if I can't pick her up? Well,
- 30:36Speaker 2: I can't pick her up if I'm busy. Yeah, like
- 30:39Speaker 2: I physically can't do it.
- 30:40Speaker 5: No.
- 30:40Speaker 1: I think what this one means is like, if that's
- 30:44Speaker 1: the case, you are then sending an uber to a
- 30:47Speaker 1: house so she doesn't have to drive, and she's like
- 30:49Speaker 1: going to be taken to your place or something, if
- 30:51Speaker 1: you're planning to hang out at your.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Pay if she's coming over to my house, like I'm
- 30:56Speaker 2: thinking that would be if I've asked her, yeah over,
- 30:58Speaker 2: I think that's bareman.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Them really yeah yeah, just sending a ride to get
- 31:05Speaker 1: it picked up. I feel like, oh, it is kind
- 31:07Speaker 1: of princess. I would say that's princess treatment, which she
- 31:10Speaker 1: confused me with the other bit like me because I
- 31:12Speaker 1: should pick her up. I feel like that's baremanim yea
- 31:14Speaker 1: yea yeah, yeahyeah, but this isn't like yeah, I mean, ah,
- 31:19Speaker 1: that's on the border of me. Interesting one The every
- 31:23Speaker 1: time is what? Yeah is what? Because that's it's not possible. Yeah,
- 31:27Speaker 1: it should be rich, it should be what have you been.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Seeing the trend going around like everyone's uber orders at
- 31:33Speaker 2: the moment, No haven't you? And it's like Uber came
- 31:36Speaker 2: out with a statistic saying how many times you've ordered
- 31:39Speaker 2: uber in a year like uber it eats, Uber eats.
- 31:43Speaker 1: And they put the how many on top of their head.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeh, I've seen this and they're all
- 31:48Speaker 1: like three hundred, and then it's like eight hundred. Who
- 31:51Speaker 1: the fuck is ordering uber eats that much? It must
- 31:53Speaker 1: be well, you're you live in the city. Now, I reckon,
- 31:57Speaker 1: I order I used to order ash, same thing. I reckon.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I ordered door Dash probably on average, Like so I'm
- 32:07Speaker 1: going to say it's once a week, but they'll go
- 32:08Speaker 1: I could go two weeks without getting it, but then
- 32:10Speaker 1: I could have one week where I go, fuck it.
- 32:13Speaker 1: See I reckon basically once a week, maybe fifty two
- 32:16Speaker 1: times a year. See where we live zero Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 32:19Speaker 1: she's not a thing, which is it gets cold? Yeah?
- 32:22Speaker 1: I live it's fine, yeah exactly. It's honestly, it's actually
- 32:25Speaker 1: a perk. Yeah, it's actually sick paying me back to Bali.
- 32:29Speaker 1: It's like a dollar. Oh. I'll tell you what. If
- 32:31Speaker 1: you were to just go with any ordering, any food
- 32:36Speaker 1: ordering app where it delivers, it just doesn't matter. Per year,
- 32:42Speaker 1: the six weeks we spent in Bali would be two hundred.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah, but that only costs you two hundred dollars exactly, Yeah,
- 32:50Speaker 1: two thousand. I was looking at a villa because we're going. Yeah,
- 32:54Speaker 1: one of the villa I've actually ended up paying for
- 32:57Speaker 1: is it's in a nice secutionre near me. Yeah, I am, yeah,
- 33:00Speaker 1: I saw that. It's like walking distance, but it's in
- 33:03Speaker 1: a nice secluded spot. They said it's hard to find,
- 33:05Speaker 1: and I was like, love that. I don't want I
- 33:07Speaker 1: don't want anyone to I don't want to hear anyone.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Someone gave a review and they gave a bad review
- 33:12Speaker 1: because too are defined, because not because it was too
- 33:16Speaker 1: are defined right? They said, with the with the with
- 33:19Speaker 1: the Go app, which is the food ordering app over there. Now,
- 33:23Speaker 1: I often the delivery driver doesn't want to come unless
- 33:27Speaker 1: you pay an extra bit because it's hard to find. Well,
- 33:29Speaker 1: that's the whole suburb of ses and I was like, bro,
- 33:32Speaker 1: they're only asking for one more dollar. Yeah, that's insane
- 33:37Speaker 1: to give a bad review about it's one dollar. Oh
- 33:40Speaker 1: that's crazy.
- 33:41Speaker 2: That whole suburb was saying, Yeah, you have to do
- 33:43Speaker 2: it because it's an extra ten minutes from Changu worth it.
- 33:46Speaker 1: But there's also more restaurans in Cessa. Now, yeah, you're
- 33:48Speaker 1: supporting him too, Like yeah, it's it's not like yeah, guys,
- 33:50Speaker 1: your boys will be in ces in insert Yeah come
- 33:54Speaker 1: find okay me yeah bare minimum or pre says treatment
- 34:01Speaker 1: reading my favorite book, I've got an answer to And
- 34:06Speaker 1: you're having this dilemma. I am having this celemma. I
- 34:08Speaker 1: want to say bare minimum. She said bare minimum. Yeah, yeah,
- 34:12Speaker 1: I think bro I mean, oh, I think look, I
- 34:18Speaker 1: do think it's bare minimum. I think if someone if
- 34:20Speaker 1: I was to say to someone, oh, I really like
- 34:24Speaker 1: this book, and because I really like this book, Beth
- 34:26Speaker 1: read it, they'd be like, oh wow, you know, that's
- 34:27Speaker 1: nice of her. But they wouldn't think like, oh my god,
- 34:29Speaker 1: you're the luckiest man alive. I think it's I think
- 34:32Speaker 1: it's bare minimum. But also she won't do it. She
- 34:35Speaker 1: bet is not doing it. It's a nice gesture, isn't it. Yeah,
- 34:38Speaker 1: but I think also if she was reading the book
- 34:40Speaker 1: that I just genuinely didn't find interesting, I probably also
- 34:42Speaker 1: wouldn't write. I think maybe the bare minimum is try
- 34:45Speaker 1: start it. Yeah, you don't have to like it. Yeah,
- 34:47Speaker 1: give me, give me five chapters. Yeah yeah, yeah, I
- 34:50Speaker 1: think you just appreciate that. I'll just leave it up
- 34:51Speaker 1: to the book to get you hooked. Yeah, that's what
- 34:53Speaker 1: I don't know it will yeah exactly. Maybe first sexy
- 34:56Speaker 1: scene while yeah, bare minimum or princess treatment, this has
- 35:03Speaker 1: an answer pulling a girl's tampon out. I don't think
- 35:10Speaker 1: I could be wrong. I don't think they want that.
- 35:12Speaker 1: I also don't think they want that. But let's just
- 35:16Speaker 1: say they do. Princess for sure, they say bare bare minimum. No,
- 35:22Speaker 1: I'm not saying I wouldn't do it, because if Beth
- 35:24Speaker 1: just so happened to not be able to do it,
- 35:26Speaker 1: you know, she lost the string, i'd help her find it.
- 35:29Speaker 1: But yeah, I do think that. I kind of think. No,
- 35:34Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe hold up scenario wise. Let's say
- 35:37Speaker 1: string's lost, can't find it, Babe, I can't find it,
- 35:41Speaker 1: it's gonna I'm gonna get toxic shock if I can't
- 35:42Speaker 1: get talking about that one hundred percent. As in like
- 35:46Speaker 1: she's just sitting there feeling lazy, doesn't want to pull
- 35:47Speaker 1: it out. Yeah, I'd be like, I'll pull it out yourself.
- 35:50Speaker 1: It's princess treatment. If're feeling lazy, if you need help,
- 35:52Speaker 1: if it's lost, I would. Yeah. If toxic shock is
- 35:55Speaker 1: is that play, I will help you. Well, I think it.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Goes you if it's lost me if I can't find it,
- 36:00Speaker 2: doctor doctor, Yeah, yeah, okay, I've got two left, bare
- 36:08Speaker 2: minimum or princess treatment, holding my.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Bag so I can dance bareim, I'll dance with a bag,
- 36:15Speaker 1: will stand on the wall. Yeah, yeah, bare minimum has
- 36:21Speaker 1: an answer, bare minimum or princess treatment. Quote. I saw
- 36:24Speaker 1: this and thought of you bare minimum? Yeah, easy, Okay,
- 36:28Speaker 1: this one I want to finish on a hard one.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Bare minimum or princess treatment supports me financially when I'm
- 36:35Speaker 1: trying to start my business. Oh depends. Okay, I'm going
- 36:46Speaker 1: to say that it's princess treatment unless he's just like
- 36:50Speaker 1: rolling in cash. Agreed. Yeah, So if he's got the
- 36:54Speaker 1: money and it's it's really you know, it doesn't matter
- 36:57Speaker 1: to him, then it's bare minimum. Like why wouldn't you
- 36:59Speaker 1: want to support your girlfriend trying to or your wife
- 37:01Speaker 1: was only trying to start something. But if he's going
- 37:04Speaker 1: to be struggling, then it's princess treatment. Yeah. I think
- 37:08Speaker 1: so too. Yeah, Okay, I got a couple more of
- 37:10Speaker 1: rattle them off. That's when has an answer, bare minimum
- 37:13Speaker 1: or princess treatment making her orgasm bare minimum? Bare minimum? Yeah,
- 37:19Speaker 1: I'll say bare minim. Yeah, that's gotta be bare minimum.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Princess treatment. Picking you up after a night out with
- 37:27Speaker 1: your friends at eleven pm, and then she's given me
- 37:30Speaker 1: another scenario, but eleven pm, eleven pm, bare minimum minimum.
- 37:38Speaker 1: There's no answer to this, So I think bare what
- 37:40Speaker 1: about three am? The answer should be bare minimum, But
- 37:46Speaker 1: I don't do that. Bare minimum. Yeah, I for me,
- 37:52Speaker 1: it's bare minimum. That's something I would do. Yeah. But yeah,
- 37:55Speaker 1: I'm like you, I don't care. Yeah, you don't care
- 37:58Speaker 1: about sleep? I mean I do, but I also just
- 38:01Speaker 1: I can sleep in yeah. True, I don't do that,
- 38:03Speaker 1: and I can fall back asleep very easy. Yeah. Yeah.
- 38:06Speaker 1: Last one. Yeah, Okay, this might be tricky, might be not.
- 38:10Speaker 1: There's no answer. Yeah, bare minimum or princess treatment. Recreating
- 38:15Speaker 1: sex scenes from her favorite book. Let me think about
- 38:20Speaker 1: this one. What scenes? I don't know, actually, cabin scene,
- 38:25Speaker 1: top of the mountain. So she wants me to be resented.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Can you fill those shoes? Probably not? Probably be fair.
- 38:35Speaker 1: That's all you've got to do is eat it out.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Then two minutes to say that scene. Yes, but his
- 38:39Speaker 1: actual shoes No, I'm going to say that's princess treatment.
- 38:45Speaker 1: I think it is.
- 38:46Speaker 2: To any sort of close play, it's called I think, yeah,
- 38:49Speaker 2: cosplayer role play, anything like that, I think that's Princess's treatment,
- 38:52Speaker 2: or like comfortability.
- 38:54Speaker 1: If I'm reading a sex scene and then acting it
- 38:57Speaker 1: out and having to be serious, memorizing the lines, the paint,
- 39:03Speaker 1: brought out plaid out on a table like my own fee.
- 39:08Speaker 1: These were good, they were good. There were there were
- 39:10Speaker 1: quite a few hard ones in there. Actually, actually it
- 39:12Speaker 1: is kind of hardy. It's kind of hard when you think,
- 39:14Speaker 1: you know what that is bare minimum, but I just
- 39:16Speaker 1: don't do it. Yeah, let us know if you want
- 39:17Speaker 1: us to do King treatment or bare minimum.
- 39:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:22Speaker 1: And then also me and Jake might do friend or
- 39:25Speaker 1: best friend. So she's the gigs do that? Did they So? No,
- 39:28Speaker 1: they didn't do that. They didn't do friend or best friend.
- 39:30Speaker 1: I like that one. Yeah, what they did was Princess
- 39:33Speaker 1: treatment or bare minimum, just like four friends. And it
- 39:36Speaker 1: was scenarios of like if one of them was to
- 39:39Speaker 1: do this for the other, would it be Princes's treatment
- 39:41Speaker 1: or bare minimum? So our thing is a bit different.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Friend and best friend is an interesting dynamic too, because
- 39:46Speaker 2: once someone becomes your best friend, you do.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Less less, You do less for them, like you walk
- 39:52Speaker 1: into their house. What's up? You do less?
- 39:54Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 39:55Speaker 1: Yeah, public you're not like it is funny what you
- 39:59Speaker 1: do baddies. We the podcast right is we have a
- 40:12Speaker 1: lot of segments where also like dilemmas, we'll read something
- 40:15Speaker 1: out and we're reading it, so if I'm reading and
- 40:17Speaker 1: reading it to Audie, but I'm also reading it to
- 40:21Speaker 1: everyone listening. And then when we give an answer, we're
- 40:23Speaker 1: quite often directing the advice. We'll discuss the advice, but
- 40:26Speaker 1: direct the advice to the camera, to the dilemma center. Yeah,
- 40:30Speaker 1: and with the IIG question, pretty similar. It's like we
- 40:34Speaker 1: talked to each other about it, a little bit of
- 40:36Speaker 1: he he ha ha maybe and then but it's also
- 40:39Speaker 1: kind of like directed at everyone agreed. We do a
- 40:44Speaker 1: catch up every now and then. But I find we've
- 40:47Speaker 1: never really been the type of podcast to just turn
- 40:49Speaker 1: a camera on and start chatting, yeah about like real
- 40:52Speaker 1: life stuff that real life stuff that's like going on
- 40:54Speaker 1: in our life. Like we say, stuff that's happened that
- 40:56Speaker 1: we think is exciting enough to bring up that'll be entertaining.
- 40:58Speaker 2: We talk about how we feel, but not really life decisions.
- 41:03Speaker 2: But we've got some some big ones. And I also
- 41:08Speaker 2: because we brainstorm obviously the content before we start the podcast,
- 41:12Speaker 2: and I also wanted to talk about what we're about
- 41:14Speaker 2: to talk to too, because I assume a lot of
- 41:17Speaker 2: podcasts most people listen to a slightly out of touch,
- 41:22Speaker 2: they're extremely rich, they're extremely famous and successful and I
- 41:28Speaker 2: hope we get there one day, but we're not there,
- 41:30Speaker 2: so we have to make decisions that are relatable and
- 41:34Speaker 2: real life decisions that come with We're thinking about moving
- 41:40Speaker 2: states in Australia and we just wanted to talk through
- 41:43Speaker 2: our thinking process, mental barriers, getting ahead. What that means
- 41:49Speaker 2: for the podcast, just sort of like a conversation me
- 41:52Speaker 2: and Jack would have over dinner or just sit and
- 41:55Speaker 2: talk in.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Conversations that we've had.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Yeah, we've had And right now, the game plan I
- 42:00Speaker 2: guess is next year, haven't locked in a date. Is
- 42:04Speaker 2: Jake and I and our partners want to go to
- 42:09Speaker 2: the Gold Coast at least for a year, just to
- 42:12Speaker 2: see what it's like to live somewhere else and grow
- 42:16Speaker 2: as people. It's another step in my relationship personally because
- 42:19Speaker 2: I'll be living with my partner.
- 42:22Speaker 1: Also, I measure if you guys moved up there and
- 42:24Speaker 1: got two different places also perk.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Jake's family lives up there, so that's it added perk.
- 42:31Speaker 2: But how are you feeling with the situation because we
- 42:34Speaker 2: touched on it on Patreon probably six months ago.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Yeah, what about now? I still feel so. Beth and
- 42:42Speaker 1: I was talking about the other day and we were
- 42:45Speaker 1: because we really really like where we're at right now,
- 42:48Speaker 1: location and Sydney sick. But I so I think we
- 42:54Speaker 1: were both kind of randomly having like some little maybe
- 42:56Speaker 1: doubts about going.
- 42:57Speaker 5: But I have.
- 43:01Speaker 1: That I want to do it because I now know
- 43:05Speaker 1: that I really like Dromoygne and Sydney and could see
- 43:08Speaker 1: myself being there for a long time. But I think
- 43:11Speaker 1: if I stay there and say no to go onto
- 43:13Speaker 1: Queensland next year, I just won't ever do it, you
- 43:15Speaker 1: might regret that. And so I just want to lock
- 43:16Speaker 1: in and just do one year. That's what I'm thinking
- 43:19Speaker 1: as well, where it's like fuck it, why not? Because
- 43:22Speaker 1: if you may, you may love it. Yeah.
- 43:25Speaker 2: My biggest mental barrier, I guess for me is I'm
- 43:29Speaker 2: very logically and calculated. Logical and calculated, sorry, and I
- 43:36Speaker 2: like getting ahead in life. Yeah, it's just how I'm
- 43:40Speaker 2: hard white. I've always been like that. And right now
- 43:43Speaker 2: I'm living with my parents and saving bank potentially I
- 43:45Speaker 2: don't know, for an investment or something. But we've moved
- 43:49Speaker 2: into the Gold Coast. I'm having trouble. There's two things
- 43:53Speaker 2: we can do because for us, we have to even
- 43:55Speaker 2: rent a place Jake my live with his parents or
- 43:59Speaker 2: run a studio. I'm not inclined to say that we
- 44:02Speaker 2: are in a lucky position where we might be able
- 44:04Speaker 2: to buy a studio.
- 44:06Speaker 1: That would be nice if we Yeah, if we a
- 44:10Speaker 1: little one. It's looking good. Yeah, it looks like we
- 44:12Speaker 1: could potentially we can potentially buy a study up there
- 44:14Speaker 1: that if we don't like it too in the future,
- 44:17Speaker 1: it could become an investment for Jake and I going
- 44:20Speaker 1: in it together, and that really interests me. But I'm
- 44:25Speaker 1: having trouble. I still want to do it.
- 44:26Speaker 2: I'm having trouble accepting if that doesn't happen, happen a
- 44:30Speaker 2: whole year of just renting and dead money. Yeah, And
- 44:35Speaker 2: I know, I've just got to change my mindset and
- 44:37Speaker 2: being like it's for growth and it's only a year,
- 44:40Speaker 2: and I think I'll take.
- 44:41Speaker 1: A lot out of it, and it'd be really good
- 44:42Speaker 1: for my relationship too. We're both keen on that aspect
- 44:44Speaker 1: to move in together. Yeah, but just I'm having a
- 44:48Speaker 1: little bit of a mental barrier doing that, I guess. Yeah,
- 44:50Speaker 1: it's hard because I mean, we have like these ideas
- 44:53Speaker 1: of the best way to do it, so it would
- 44:56Speaker 1: be like because my parents they have like a sick
- 44:59Speaker 1: grad flat, so Beth and I could go live there
- 45:04Speaker 1: for cheap, and then what we could do is by
- 45:11Speaker 1: an apartment that's got probably minimum two rooms and basically
- 45:21Speaker 1: the relatables would then rent it off of us. But
- 45:25Speaker 1: then that's just kind of like paying off the thing,
- 45:28Speaker 1: which sounds like a champag problem. I don't know if
- 45:29Speaker 1: we actually can do this. Yes, I don't know if
- 45:32Speaker 1: able to do it, but then and then what we
- 45:33Speaker 1: can do is you can run the business from there,
- 45:35Speaker 1: So then just I would go there and or you
- 45:37Speaker 1: would live there at the same time. So that would
- 45:40Speaker 1: be like probably the best way to do it where
- 45:42Speaker 1: it wouldn't feel like it's dead money. Yeah, and we've
- 45:45Speaker 1: had talks.
- 45:46Speaker 2: We've always had goals and aspirations to have like a
- 45:48Speaker 2: little studio, like we've been looking at industrial estates and
- 45:51Speaker 2: stuff like that. I definitely think it's possible. It just
- 45:54Speaker 2: depends what scale and like if it's actually good, well,
- 45:57Speaker 2: it's just hard as well.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Because we we're super lucky where we don't pay rent here. Yeah,
- 46:04Speaker 1: in the video gage, we're still in that. To be fair, like,
- 46:08Speaker 1: it looks nice. We decked it out we're still in
- 46:10Speaker 1: the garage of the house that my dad owns, where
- 46:12Speaker 1: my cousin now lives and rents off him, and so
- 46:15Speaker 1: we just, yeah, we like pay for power and stuff,
- 46:17Speaker 1: and I just come here once a week and stay
- 46:19Speaker 1: the night and we record. But it'll feel a lot
- 46:22Speaker 1: different when it's like because it's because it's funny right now,
- 46:26Speaker 1: we make enough money for obviously you live at home, yeah,
- 46:30Speaker 1: and but like we make enough money to pay enough ourselves,
- 46:32Speaker 1: enough of a wage where I can pay rent in
- 46:34Speaker 1: Sydney and still be fine and save a little bit
- 46:37Speaker 1: of money. Not much, but you know, fucking champion problems.
- 46:42Speaker 1: It's pretty sick. Yeah, And I guess just adding on,
- 46:46Speaker 1: I think there would be a lot more outgoing. So
- 46:48Speaker 1: I've always I had. The thing I'm scared of is
- 46:50Speaker 1: also it's like, fucking can we even do it?
- 46:55Speaker 2: I think about for us if we take the leap
- 46:59Speaker 2: of faith now, even though it's really really scary. We're
- 47:01Speaker 2: in a position where we don't have too much financial commitment.
- 47:04Speaker 2: But once I move out and say you move back
- 47:07Speaker 2: to Sydney or something, if we're both renting, like we're
- 47:10Speaker 2: both in the worst position to get alone and start
- 47:14Speaker 2: that rolling.
- 47:15Speaker 1: Yeah, So it's kind of like.
- 47:16Speaker 2: We have to go balls deep and take the leap
- 47:19Speaker 2: of faith, even if we don't feel like we're quite
- 47:20Speaker 2: there yet.
- 47:21Speaker 1: But I think that's what you have to do in
- 47:22Speaker 1: business a little bit. I mean, yeah, same here. I
- 47:25Speaker 1: guess you just would you'd work it out. Yeah, you'd
- 47:27Speaker 1: work it out. I think that's what we're going to do,
- 47:29Speaker 1: is work it out.
- 47:30Speaker 2: And I always believe the world has a funny way
- 47:32Speaker 2: of working things out, and I think it will work
- 47:34Speaker 2: and whichever plan we come to we'll be happy with.
- 47:39Speaker 2: But at the end of the day too, it's definitely
- 47:41Speaker 2: a champagne problem. But that's what we're going through as
- 47:43Speaker 2: a podcast.
- 47:44Speaker 1: It's kind of funny. It's not really a problem. It's
- 47:46Speaker 1: like a barrier or a wall we have to climb
- 47:50Speaker 1: pretty much, just a decision that that has to be made. Yeah,
- 47:52Speaker 1: And the hardest thing I guess is going to be when, well,
- 47:55Speaker 1: I'm the thing that makes the most sense is when
- 47:58Speaker 1: my lease is up? True? Is that my place? So
- 48:02Speaker 1: March sixth, Yeah, of twenty twenty six. To be fair,
- 48:06Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure it's super common to just go month
- 48:10Speaker 1: to month after that. Yeah, But unless unless we request
- 48:13Speaker 1: months to month and the person just says nuh and
- 48:15Speaker 1: I'd be like, well, fuck, what am I gonna do.
- 48:17Speaker 2: It's also hard to because if we weren't in the
- 48:21Speaker 2: position to get a place, we'd have to like setting
- 48:25Speaker 2: up a studio.
- 48:25Speaker 1: It takes a fair bit of time, mane this motherfucker. Yeah,
- 48:28Speaker 1: it takes a lot of time.
- 48:29Speaker 2: So we'd have to like cop a lot of money
- 48:30Speaker 2: up front not only to move but also set up
- 48:33Speaker 2: a studio for the podcast.
- 48:34Speaker 1: Everything costs so much.
- 48:35Speaker 2: Yeah, So like I think if we put that money
- 48:38Speaker 2: into a place where where benef fitting from, I think
- 48:40Speaker 2: that makes more sense.
- 48:42Speaker 1: But yeah, I think I'm excited. Definitely exciting phase for
- 48:46Speaker 1: our business. Yeah, for the relatables for our relationship and
- 48:49Speaker 1: also our partners. Just moving into States is cool as well.
- 48:52Speaker 1: It does it that always forces you to take a
- 48:53Speaker 1: bit of a leap. Yeah, yeah, it does a really
- 48:56Speaker 1: really thing I'm thinking right, is so the whole apartment
- 48:59Speaker 1: thing where we would run the record the podcast from
- 49:03Speaker 1: the apartment is we do two days of recording, which
- 49:08Speaker 1: kind of like those two days of written off with
- 49:10Speaker 1: the amount of stuff we record, and if it's at
- 49:15Speaker 1: the place that so we buy it and you and
- 49:16Speaker 1: Cassie live there. One thing that is kind of I
- 49:21Speaker 1: guess annoying for Cassie, which would be like fair to
- 49:23Speaker 1: be annoying about annoyed about it. She might not be,
- 49:25Speaker 1: but is the fact that you and I had this
- 49:27Speaker 1: there for two full days where it's just like the
- 49:31Speaker 1: house is dedicated just like recording a bunch of shit.
- 49:34Speaker 1: Oh no, she wouldn't care. It's sort of like having
- 49:36Speaker 1: a roommate but for two days. And she likes you fair,
- 49:39Speaker 1: like not just some random yeah, fair best mate. Yeah,
- 49:42Speaker 1: I think it's fair. You are right, it's just funny.
- 49:44Speaker 1: It's like it's funny because every other day that week
- 49:47Speaker 1: it's is her house. Yeah. True. Then I can also
- 49:50Speaker 1: see where she'd be like in the back of her
- 49:52Speaker 1: head like oh, it's actually half jakes. Oh yeah. But
- 49:55Speaker 1: we also talked about it too, and like we wouldn't
- 49:57Speaker 1: ask her to pay rent and she's like, oh I
- 49:59Speaker 1: want to, Bud, I don't have to. And I think
- 50:01Speaker 1: that aspect of things, she'll be like, oh, this is
- 50:03Speaker 1: some fucking chill on. Yeah, it's fair, it is fair,
- 50:06Speaker 1: it's fucking funny. But yeah, I just wanted to give
- 50:08Speaker 1: you guys, a bit of a life update. Yeah, mass
- 50:11Speaker 1: Twine twenty sixth. Things later could potentially be moving to
- 50:13Speaker 1: the Gold Coast. Yeah, for a year. And it's funny
- 50:16Speaker 1: as well because the whole year thing where you say,
- 50:18Speaker 1: we just go for a year and if we hate it,
- 50:19Speaker 1: will come home. When you come home, you've got to
- 50:21Speaker 1: reset up all this shit. Yeah, we've got to reset
- 50:23Speaker 1: everything up. But it's like, okay, well what do we
- 50:24Speaker 1: do then? Do we buy somewhere on the Central Coast
- 50:26Speaker 1: if you come back to the Central Coast? Or do
- 50:28Speaker 1: we go to Sydney? Because why everywhere? You wouldn't want
- 50:30Speaker 1: to live in Sydney, would you know?
- 50:31Speaker 2: I'd never live in Sydney, like never, No, I hate
- 50:33Speaker 2: Sydney really, I'd never live there. Interesting, you're very easy
- 50:37Speaker 2: going and don't let things affect you, whereas I let
- 50:40Speaker 2: everything affect me.
- 50:41Speaker 1: Yeah, and I blackpoole protect my peace. That's fair. You
- 50:43Speaker 1: haven't done a summer in Sydney yet. No back ended
- 50:46Speaker 1: when we moved there was fucking yeah, so you're half
- 50:49Speaker 1: an hour from the beach. See if that changes a
- 50:51Speaker 1: little bit too. I mean I couldn't do that. I
- 50:54Speaker 1: think the me and the beach. I don't have the
- 50:56Speaker 1: same relationship with the beach as I love it. But
- 51:00Speaker 1: being thirty minutes from the beach doesn't phase me at all. Yeah. See,
- 51:03Speaker 1: I don't care one I've gotta be like five ten
- 51:05Speaker 1: minutes away. Really, I love the beach. Yeah, in summer,
- 51:07Speaker 1: I spim every single day, twice a day. My thought
- 51:10Speaker 1: process is, like, if you love the beach and you'll
- 51:11Speaker 1: fucking go live near it. Yeah. And also, but if
- 51:13Speaker 1: you really love it and you can't afford to live
- 51:14Speaker 1: near it, then you live away from it, and you'll
- 51:16Speaker 1: just go there if you love it. True, Like that's
- 51:18Speaker 1: my thought process. Yeah, if you really love it, you'll
- 51:21Speaker 1: go there. And I used to live a two minute
- 51:22Speaker 1: walk to the beach from here and I never went. Yeah,
- 51:25Speaker 1: you're very nonchalant wherever you are, you make it work. Yeah,
- 51:29Speaker 1: I think that's it. It doesn't merit to your personality.
- 51:32Speaker 1: I'm not too faced by it. I don't need I
- 51:34Speaker 1: think I kind of really fall into the category of like,
- 51:37Speaker 1: doesn't really matter where we are, Like I could hate
- 51:39Speaker 1: a place, but yeah, if I'm there with Beth and Henry,
- 51:42Speaker 1: I think that wherever that is is about Tilly Tilly yeah,
- 51:47Speaker 1: it's been arguments in my household about Tilly, Jake's foster dog.
- 51:51Speaker 1: But actually we will have her, Like I've had to
- 51:54Speaker 1: come to terms with the fact that we're not going
- 51:56Speaker 1: to be allowed to keep her. You're not adopting her now, Oh,
- 51:59Speaker 1: because Beth and I want to have kids. And I'll
- 52:03Speaker 1: show you some videos. She actually is fucked the poor
- 52:06Speaker 1: little kids. Yeah she was not. I mean with little kids.
- 52:10Speaker 1: What it is is, apparently dogs see themselves. We're all
- 52:14Speaker 1: part of a pack. So Tilly, she's at one order
- 52:19Speaker 1: in the pack. She knows that she's below Beth, and
- 52:21Speaker 1: she's below me for some reason, when Beth's around, she
- 52:24Speaker 1: thinks that Tilly and I think that her and I
- 52:26Speaker 1: are the same. But if Beth's not there, she knows
- 52:29Speaker 1: I'm above her. It's really weird. But then with a kid,
- 52:31Speaker 1: the kid's born does nothing. Yeah, so Tilly, well look
- 52:34Speaker 1: at this kid is like, you do nothing, So I'm
- 52:37Speaker 1: better than you. I'm better than you. I can eat you.
- 52:39Speaker 1: Grows up, starts to get nimble, stronger than Tilly, so
- 52:43Speaker 1: she's threatened. Tilly wants to keep her place the pack,
- 52:47Speaker 1: and so the reason she got surrendered because she had
- 52:49Speaker 1: nipped at the toddler she lived with in her old home,
- 52:52Speaker 1: and so then and we've noticed the aggression towards I
- 52:56Speaker 1: don't know what drives it, but basically we go the
- 52:58Speaker 1: Maggie's Rescue. The people we go through, they've said like, oh,
- 53:02Speaker 1: there's people interested in Tilly that won her, but she
- 53:04Speaker 1: said that they're gonna, she's gonna. I've got a trainer
- 53:07Speaker 1: that they work with that that we're gonna have to
- 53:09Speaker 1: work with to really just come down. We don't need
- 53:11Speaker 1: to fix it, but we need to know why she's
- 53:13Speaker 1: like that. It's really weird. She's she's never bitten me.
- 53:16Speaker 1: But if she's with Beth and I'll go near her
- 53:19Speaker 1: to pat Tilly, she's rally teeth bearing, Okay, yeah it's
- 53:25Speaker 1: weird as well. That's annoying. Yeah, it sucks because she
- 53:28Speaker 1: she's honestly so cute, she is so lovable. But if
- 53:31Speaker 1: Beth hands are to me, no ground, Yeah, it's if
- 53:33Speaker 1: I go to grab her. I don't know what it
- 53:35Speaker 1: is because I could also like she really only needs
- 53:37Speaker 1: like one person family. Yeah, I reckon an older couple,
- 53:42Speaker 1: grandkids that come over once a year. Yeah, way, yeah older,
- 53:46Speaker 1: that's interesting.
