- 0:09Speaker 3: Two point seven It is kiss FM, Ryan Seacrest and
- 0:14Speaker 3: Siciny and Tanya.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Hey, well, is this.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Uh Griselda on the line here in Downy?
- 0:22Speaker 4: Yes, it is hi Ryan or are you good morning?
- 0:25Speaker 2: Good morning, and welcome back to the show. Nice to
- 0:27Speaker 2: hear your voice again.
- 0:29Speaker 4: Thank you. Yes, I'm an avid listener if you guys love.
- 0:32Speaker 3: You guys, We appreciate that. So tell me your daughter
- 0:36Speaker 3: she is. She want tickets, you guys want tickets to
- 0:37Speaker 3: Taylor Swift.
- 0:39Speaker 4: We want tickets to Tailor's with We want many tickets.
- 0:41Speaker 4: So we we have an amazing time calling, especially with
- 0:46Speaker 4: our long ride to take her to school every day.
- 0:49Speaker 4: But yeah, we've won Taylor Swift tickets.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Well, thank you for listening on that long riding. Congrats
- 0:54Speaker 3: on the Tailor tickets. And then what happened after that?
- 0:58Speaker 4: So what happened is she's a scene while she just
- 1:01Speaker 4: graduate her over the weekends. So graduated Saturday, you know,
- 1:04Speaker 4: So yes, you all know. And is part of the
- 1:08Speaker 4: the process of applying for college a universities is they
- 1:11Speaker 4: have to write an admissions essay.
- 1:14Speaker 5: So I don't know.
- 1:15Speaker 4: Exactly exactly what the prompt was for the essay for
- 1:18Speaker 4: the USC essay, but she wrote it about a kiss
- 1:20Speaker 4: FM and how her experience gift and she actually got
- 1:25Speaker 4: admitted to, you know, to that was one of the
- 1:27Speaker 4: many universities she got admitted to. But she actually wrote
- 1:29Speaker 4: it and she read it to me, and it was
- 1:31Speaker 4: all along how she developed some strategy about striving for
- 1:35Speaker 4: something that she really wants it, even though at that
- 1:38Speaker 4: time she was underage. But we did it together, and
- 1:40Speaker 4: I was the caller, but we did it together. She
- 1:42Speaker 4: would help me with the phone if she you go, Mom,
- 1:44Speaker 4: if I went, I'm gonna pass it to you. But
- 1:46Speaker 4: she's all, okay, I'm gona developed a strategy. We're gonna
- 1:48Speaker 4: know what time they're going to give out the tickets.
- 1:51Speaker 4: We're gonna call from two phones. Different things that we
- 1:53Speaker 4: would do that she applied in her essay. How she's
- 1:56Speaker 4: going to do it to live, you know.
- 1:58Speaker 3: And you should give those tips out to everybody that
- 2:01Speaker 3: wants to win tickets. So is the strategy of two
- 2:04Speaker 3: phones knowing the timing? Was there any other nuances?
- 2:08Speaker 6: Uh?
- 2:09Speaker 4: Knowing? And I exactly know knowing the timing, knowing what
- 2:13Speaker 4: they're giving now, so I just kind of do a
- 2:15Speaker 4: little research before, you know. I'm like, they're going to
- 2:17Speaker 4: give this out. They're going to give it a this time.
- 2:19Speaker 4: My god, I know, you guys a schedule and know
- 2:21Speaker 4: a lot of things. So we're all like, Okay, be prepared.
- 2:24Speaker 4: You have to wake up early, you have to do this,
- 2:25Speaker 4: you have to do that, you know. And oh and
- 2:27Speaker 4: also don't give up till to say the conscience is over.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Yes, And also for the Taylor Swift tickets. We were
- 2:33Speaker 1: doing trivia, we were doing games, we were doing oh
- 2:36Speaker 1: my god, yes.
- 2:38Speaker 2: I'm so.
- 2:38Speaker 4: We were trying everything.
- 2:41Speaker 3: I feel like a member of the family that she
- 2:43Speaker 3: wrote the essay about kiss and got into USC by
- 2:47Speaker 3: virtue of doing that, because we actually have a guy
- 2:50Speaker 3: that works here who did the same thing and he
- 2:52Speaker 3: got an f for writing his essay about kiss family.
- 2:56Speaker 3: He failed, but he got a job. Here's the iron.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 3:04Speaker 4: It was it was fun writing it. It's fun. And
- 3:07Speaker 4: you know, she's graduating and we took she she we
- 3:11Speaker 4: took the last ride home. But you know, we're not
- 3:12Speaker 4: going to stop listening to you guys and she's going away.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Even though she got to USC, she committed to another
- 3:17Speaker 4: college because financially we couldn't, you know, unfortunately commit to
- 3:20Speaker 4: U s C. But she's all like, I'm not. Now
- 3:22Speaker 4: that I'm eighteen, I'm for sure going to be listening
- 3:25Speaker 4: and I'm winning my own contest.
- 3:27Speaker 2: I love that.
- 3:28Speaker 3: I love that. Well, thank you, congratulations on course. Daughter.
- 3:34Speaker 4: I just want to yes, but I want to just
- 3:36Speaker 4: tell you, Ryan, aside from the winning the contest, you're
- 3:39Speaker 4: a great expiration inspiration not only to the young adults,
- 3:43Speaker 4: but to everybody listening to you. I mean, I myself
- 3:46Speaker 4: have been like I go all the week way back
- 3:48Speaker 4: to American Idol, even listening to way back, but it's
- 3:51Speaker 4: just so aspiring to listen to you and what a
- 3:54Speaker 4: kind person you are. And I even travel along the
- 3:56Speaker 4: route when you guys were doing your uh celebration.
- 4:00Speaker 2: You are the reason.
- 4:05Speaker 3: You're the reason that we do this every single day,
- 4:08Speaker 3: just to know that we can connect like that. And
- 4:11Speaker 3: I really, honestly, I really do appreciate you calling and
- 4:13Speaker 3: Sharon and I I kind of feel like so proud of.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Something like.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Yes, definitely if we can send it to you guys.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, send it to us. We will read it,
- 4:26Speaker 3: will do a reading like we did Twilight, remember those
- 4:28Speaker 3: readings a Griselda, thank you, congrats to your daughter. What
- 4:32Speaker 3: it was her name, Sophia, Sophia Romero will be running
- 4:38Speaker 3: something soon. She is a boss, all right, thanks you.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Okay, that's nice.
- 4:49Speaker 3: That's incredible because f M, there comes a time where
- 4:53Speaker 3: we here, after being together for a long time, intersections,
- 4:58Speaker 3: big bridges, to cross moments, life changing decisions, big decisions
- 5:04Speaker 3: that can last for a long time, commitments, right, and
- 5:07Speaker 3: we'd like to share those things with everybody here. And
- 5:11Speaker 3: one of us is considering getting bangs. Now, that's the
- 5:18Speaker 3: that's a big deal. Bangs are a big deal. I
- 5:20Speaker 3: can't tell you how many times I've been asked by
- 5:23Speaker 3: friends of mine if women friends of mine, if they
- 5:26Speaker 3: should get bangs or not. Do you think I should
- 5:28Speaker 3: get bangs?
- 5:29Speaker 2: You do not me them. That's my opinion of bangs.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Do you like bangs?
- 5:35Speaker 3: And I do like bangs on certain foreheads off, But
- 5:43Speaker 3: what you do it it's kind of like it's a
- 5:46Speaker 3: done deal for a while, right Ruby.
- 5:47Speaker 7: Yes, absolutely, it is a big commitment, especially during the summer.
- 5:52Speaker 7: But I have this itch and I haven't had it
- 5:54Speaker 7: for a really long time. I haven't had bangs since
- 5:57Speaker 7: high school, I think, So.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Can you emulate the banks? Can you show us what
- 6:01Speaker 3: it would look like?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Let me show you how you do it. You grab
- 6:06Speaker 1: a little piece of hair like this, bring it up
- 6:09Speaker 1: and then you can bring it down real quick.
- 6:13Speaker 2: You did it? Please take a shot of that freezing.
- 6:19Speaker 1: And that's what you're going.
- 6:21Speaker 2: You do that. I will not suggest those for.
- 6:25Speaker 5: You that that's not what they would look like.
- 6:31Speaker 3: That it's very Zoe and that's bangs.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Okay.
- 6:35Speaker 7: So I don't know if I'm going for the full
- 6:37Speaker 7: like cover the entire forehead look. Maybe some curtain bangs
- 6:41Speaker 7: to start off with.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Start with a curtain banks.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Yes, why did we even get into this change this look?
- 6:48Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 6:48Speaker 7: I just I just had an itch and I think
- 6:50Speaker 7: I had thought about it last year and then I
- 6:53Speaker 7: didn't do it because of summer. But now I'm like,
- 6:56Speaker 7: if I'm if I'm still thinking about it, I feel
- 6:58Speaker 7: like I should just go for it.
- 7:01Speaker 3: But how long does it take to if you don't
- 7:04Speaker 3: like them, grow them out back or get back to normal?
- 7:08Speaker 7: A couple of months? I think it depends on everyone's
- 7:10Speaker 7: like hair type. But yeah, I was just thinking, like
- 7:12Speaker 7: do it.
- 7:13Speaker 2: But on each side you're covering your eyes. Are you
- 7:16Speaker 2: going to cover your eyes partially?
- 7:17Speaker 1: Maybe?
- 7:18Speaker 5: No, don't cover your eyes maybe like.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Yeah, curtain bangs. I never heard of curtain banks.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it's actually not quite the commitment of a full
- 7:27Speaker 1: blown like bang bang.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Yeah, could you do that one more time?
- 7:31Speaker 1: How did you do that?
- 7:35Speaker 2: Grab hair? Put it down?
- 7:37Speaker 6: Yea.
- 7:38Speaker 3: And it looks exactly like you. You look like a
- 7:41Speaker 3: poster for a horror film, The Ring or something, The
- 7:44Speaker 3: Ring part right, or like I'm going to stab you,
- 7:46Speaker 3: like yes, to kill me? I think you're killing me
- 7:49Speaker 3: in The Ring sixteen?
- 7:52Speaker 5: You know what?
- 7:55Speaker 2: Tanya again? Not for you?
- 7:57Speaker 1: The Red Lip.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Three of you showing me the demo.
- 8:01Speaker 5: Now, Ruby Wims, I think I need no longer like this.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Okay, please tell you don't just stick with quitting cold
- 8:12Speaker 3: food for summer, not bangs too.
- 8:14Speaker 2: I can't handle this change. Uh, what will be the
- 8:17Speaker 2: when we decide? Ruby?
- 8:19Speaker 7: I honestly, I feel like if I'm gonna do it,
- 8:22Speaker 7: I have to do it like in the next week
- 8:23Speaker 7: or so, and it's.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Gonna get too hot.
- 8:26Speaker 7: And the last thing you want is like sweaty bangs.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Well, once you do it, call Mark because they'll want
- 8:32Speaker 2: to make a breakout.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Of it the next day, so we can talk about
- 8:34Speaker 3: it all right, Kiss, thanks for joining us here Kiss
- 8:37Speaker 3: FM streaming it FM radio however you want to get it.
- 8:41Speaker 7: So.

- 8:48Speaker 8: I'm great?
- 8:49Speaker 4: How are you?

- 8:51Speaker 3: So you posted a TikTok video of me and Tanya.
- 8:58Speaker 8: Yes, I was at I don't know if you can
- 9:00Speaker 8: watch it, but I did post it. It was for
- 9:03Speaker 8: the Ryans writing you know, your anniversary of it. It
- 9:08Speaker 8: was related to that you guys were at the mall

- 9:31Speaker 8: middle of the mall and you know I posted it.
- 9:34Speaker 2: And it's like, what was he doing? What was I doing?
- 9:37Speaker 8: Okay, you were full Ryan Seacrest mode.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 9:40Speaker 8: That's what makes it so good is because like you
- 9:43Speaker 8: were pumped, you were ready, like and it's kind of
- 9:45Speaker 8: like if you don't know the context that, like you
- 9:46Speaker 8: know you're at Ryan's ready, You're like, why is she
- 9:49Speaker 8: so excited? Like it just looks great. Honestly, when I

- 11:28Speaker 2: Anytime you take your care and thanks for calling.
- 11:31Speaker 8: Then thank you. And while I have you on the phone,
- 11:32Speaker 8: I just wanted to take this time and say thank
- 11:34Speaker 8: you for all the work that you do. We see
- 11:36Speaker 8: quest studios. I'm a nurse and I see it firsthand,
- 11:39Speaker 8: like how that set of things can make such a difference.
- 11:41Speaker 8: And you know, I don't know if you get enough
- 11:42Speaker 8: like addition for it, but thank you for all that
- 11:44Speaker 8: you do for you.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Know, thank you very veryone for thank you for seeing
- 11:49Speaker 3: that and what you do is incredible. I mean the
- 11:52Speaker 3: nurses in the hospitals, pediatric hospitals, regular hospitals. It is
- 11:56Speaker 3: amazing what you do in the care you give and
- 11:59Speaker 3: this beer that you have, you know when people are
- 12:01Speaker 3: going through tough stuff.
- 12:02Speaker 2: So back at you.
- 12:05Speaker 8: Thank you Ryan, It's so nice talking to you. Nice.
- 12:08Speaker 9: We love you.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Love you is antubs.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Yes, got cuts and accidentally I cut her off. Sorry
- 12:17Speaker 3: two point seven kiss FM. Okay, I got a quote
- 12:20Speaker 3: of the day. And also this is interesting. If you're
- 12:22Speaker 3: shopping online, when you're checking out and ask you for
- 12:26Speaker 3: a promo code, you can go hunt for your promo
- 12:29Speaker 3: code or try these. These are more likely to work
- 12:33Speaker 3: than any others no matter where you shop. One is
- 12:39Speaker 3: free ship okay, free ship, one is thank you one
- 12:45Speaker 3: word thank you, and one.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Is save ten.
- 12:49Speaker 1: So interesting time and see never know.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean those are like they say, they're most
- 12:55Speaker 3: likely to work no matter where you shop. They've been tested.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Why am I I'm whispering these because it am I
- 13:00Speaker 3: allowed to say it?
- 13:01Speaker 5: Yeah, yea out there.
- 13:03Speaker 2: There, It's on to the Google verse.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Today's quote an arrow can only be shot by pulling
- 13:10Speaker 3: it backward.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Life is dragging you back and hats it's launching it.
- 13:14Speaker 2: This is something greater, cute, great quote.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Good way to live, bro is that them las number
- 13:20Speaker 3: one hit music station. So assistany says, there's a TikTok
- 13:25Speaker 3: trend that is really changing people's lives in a good way.
- 13:30Speaker 3: About five days each month, you focus on something for betterment, wellness,
- 13:35Speaker 3: good for you.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Right exactly. So I think we all want to do
- 13:38Speaker 1: this every single time.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Okay, this is right up your alley.
- 13:40Speaker 5: I love it.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Yes, And this is one of those things where we
- 13:42Speaker 1: all think this. We all have these goals in our
- 13:45Speaker 1: head already. We wake up in the morning, We're like, oh,
- 13:47Speaker 1: I want to do that. I want to that'd be
- 13:48Speaker 1: cool if I accomplish that. There's something in the middle
- 13:50Speaker 1: of your maybe living room that you a piece of
- 13:53Speaker 1: furniture you haven't built yet, like whatever, right, or.
- 13:55Speaker 3: We just get up and say, can I make it
- 13:56Speaker 3: through this day without a bruise?
- 13:58Speaker 1: But if you do that, then none of those other
- 14:00Speaker 1: things ever get done because you're just making it through.
- 14:03Speaker 1: You're trying to survive the day. Right. So they're saying,
- 14:06Speaker 1: if you if you pick five specific days each month,
- 14:10Speaker 1: so there's thirty to thirty one days and every month
- 14:13Speaker 1: aside from February, so you would say one day is
- 14:16Speaker 1: to rest, so you just dedicate you no matter what
- 14:19Speaker 1: you're like today, Wednesday, this is my rest day. When
- 14:23Speaker 1: I get home from work.
- 14:24Speaker 2: What about work? Oh, afterwork whatever?
- 14:25Speaker 1: Right, you're just like, I'm gonna veg, I'm binging shows,
- 14:29Speaker 1: I'm not doing anything, you know whatever. That's my rest day.
- 14:31Speaker 1: But then in two days is your goal setting day.
- 14:35Speaker 1: That day you focus on all the goals and you
- 14:37Speaker 1: set them, accomplish them whatever it is.
- 14:40Speaker 9: Right.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Another one is for social stuff, another one is to
- 14:44Speaker 1: do errands, catch up on those to dos, and then
- 14:47Speaker 1: one is to plan ahead. And if you like make
- 14:50Speaker 1: those specific days, those days things will get done.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Did you lay it out?
- 14:55Speaker 3: You're like Tuesdays this day, Fridays that day, Saturdays specifically
- 14:59Speaker 3: this sure, but you don't want to.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Blow all these five days in one week. I don't
- 15:02Speaker 1: think I think you want to spread them out for
- 15:05Speaker 1: the month.
- 15:05Speaker 5: So I kind of do this but explain, but I
- 15:08Speaker 5: do it in tandem with my menstrual cycle, so all
- 15:13Speaker 5: the front.
- 15:16Speaker 1: But this makes sense because if you're yes, if you're
- 15:19Speaker 1: PMS and you're in a different mood versus right when
- 15:22Speaker 1: you're done with your period versus.
- 15:24Speaker 5: Ever, so like when I'm in my follicular and my
- 15:26Speaker 5: ovulatory phase.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Explain that to a people.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Isn't it that thing that goes up and down a mountain?
- 15:32Speaker 5: I don't know what that is, but like basically the people.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Explain the feeling of what you have during those stages.
- 15:37Speaker 5: Right after you finish your period, you're in your like
- 15:40Speaker 5: best state of mind, so like you can get stuff done.
- 15:43Speaker 5: You can be organized, you plan the days to get
- 15:45Speaker 5: as much done it, you're creative all of these things.
- 15:47Speaker 2: You're motivated.
- 15:48Speaker 5: Yes, right before your period, there's no chance, no chance,
- 15:51Speaker 5: you're supposed to be like resting and listening to your body.
- 15:54Speaker 5: So like I front load everything that I need to
- 15:56Speaker 5: do based around my cycle. That's smart and it works.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Okay, So what should I do as So for me,
- 16:06Speaker 3: how would I how would schedule the cycle of arranging
- 16:10Speaker 3: these days?
- 16:11Speaker 5: It's easy for you because you don't your hormones don't
- 16:14Speaker 5: shift all months, so you could just pick whatever.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Five the different set of swings they are moods.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I feel like he has very similar harm hormones to us.
- 16:24Speaker 2: I agree with you.
- 16:25Speaker 3: I think I agree. I think I'm matching. I'm getting
- 16:29Speaker 3: matching something.
- 16:30Speaker 2: On his moods. Something is rubbing off exactly.
- 16:37Speaker 1: You're pretty you're pretty similar to us.
- 16:39Speaker 3: I like that you have, you know, sort of specifically
- 16:41Speaker 3: taking each one of these things and then laying it
- 16:44Speaker 3: out over the month to at least get to some better.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Place, right, and also just factor in with your calendar,
- 16:50Speaker 1: like if you have a busier weekend versus the other weekend,
- 16:53Speaker 1: then obviously don't put something that's like goal setting right
- 16:56Speaker 1: before that.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Do you know what I'm best at of all those?
- 16:59Speaker 1: What's that?
- 17:00Speaker 2: Planning ahead?
- 17:02Speaker 1: Oh?
- 17:02Speaker 2: Okay, I plan ahead everything.
- 17:05Speaker 1: You Yeah, I think it's an aries thing too, because
- 17:10Speaker 1: I love planning the head. What about Michael, No, no chance,
- 17:15Speaker 1: and I didn't plan ahead. Our family would never go
- 17:18Speaker 1: on any sort of weekend getaway, vacation, nothing, because he
- 17:21Speaker 1: would never. I am the plant artist.
- 17:24Speaker 2: He's a garage band.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Oh, he's just glide.
- 17:27Speaker 2: He's just glad and Tanya, are you the planner or
- 17:30Speaker 2: Robbie's the planner?
- 17:31Speaker 5: Honestly, he's the planner, but we're both pretty good with
- 17:34Speaker 5: the flow.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I could see him being the planner and you're just like,
- 17:38Speaker 1: what are we doing this weekend?
- 17:39Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 17:40Speaker 2: So this is papyar on TikTok right.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Now, it is?
- 17:42Speaker 2: It is.
- 17:43Speaker 1: I think it's a really cool trend. And clearly, Tanya,
- 17:45Speaker 1: you've been doing it.
- 17:46Speaker 3: And also if you if you try to do all
- 17:49Speaker 3: of it, if you get to thirty percent, I mean
- 17:51Speaker 3: that's an improvement.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Right.
- 17:52Speaker 3: So it's KFM. This is an interesting conversation. It's dividing
- 17:57Speaker 3: the internet fifty to fifty on this. So it's a
- 18:00Speaker 3: Reddit story, right have you seen this?
- 18:02Speaker 2: Have you heard this?
- 18:03Speaker 1: I did see this, and I have my own thoughts
- 18:06Speaker 1: on it.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Okay, I want to hear so someone read it. Just
- 18:09Speaker 3: got back from a wedding and posted a photo they
- 18:12Speaker 3: took of a sign from the wedding that said pay
- 18:15Speaker 3: to play one of the following songs you would like
- 18:18Speaker 3: to hear, So explain that to me.
- 18:20Speaker 1: There was a menu of songs and you could request
- 18:25Speaker 1: the specific songs that were on this menu for a price.
- 18:28Speaker 2: As you pay yes, for this.
- 18:30Speaker 1: They were arranged I think from like twenty five dollars
- 18:32Speaker 1: to like one hundred dollars.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Person to benefit the wedding party to pay for the wedding.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Proceeds would go to their honeymoon fun.
- 18:38Speaker 3: So this is as if Tanya at your place, we
- 18:42Speaker 3: would have given cash for Daft Punk One More Time
- 18:46Speaker 3: or whatever, like a thousand dollars.
- 18:53Speaker 2: They never played it.
- 18:55Speaker 5: We specifically put the DJ booth nowhere near the dance.
- 19:00Speaker 3: It's like up in another on a terrorists. I could
- 19:02Speaker 3: not find this person.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Why did you not play that song? Now that I
- 19:05Speaker 1: think about it, No requests you did.
- 19:08Speaker 2: That was a rule, no request.
- 19:09Speaker 5: I mean we just kind of said, this is the
- 19:11Speaker 5: playlist and these are the songs.
- 19:12Speaker 1: But did that song play?
- 19:14Speaker 5: No, it didn't know it.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Did not intentionally to upset me. Yeah, the training I had, so.
- 19:23Speaker 5: I came in here, asked you all songs to put
- 19:26Speaker 5: on the playlist, and Ryan Seacrest never brought it once.
- 19:29Speaker 1: So he doesn't need to bring it. That's his favorite song.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Yeah you should, just you should just as a gift.
- 19:35Speaker 1: But what are we gonna do now? We can't get
- 19:36Speaker 1: back and change it.
- 19:37Speaker 3: So the songs that they did have people pay for
- 19:42Speaker 3: benefited the honeymoon fund. Okay, right, right, So the person
- 19:45Speaker 3: who posted yeah, it's just it's just so tacky.
- 19:48Speaker 8: I hate it.
- 19:49Speaker 3: So the person who posted this usually says, I'm in
- 19:52Speaker 3: the camp of let people do what they want, but
- 19:55Speaker 3: this seems like such an over the top money grab
- 19:58Speaker 3: and tacky. As you said, Yeah, people are divided. Some say, okay, cool,
- 20:03Speaker 3: you're you're helping with the honeymoon. You know, times are tough.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Others say it is tacky, sincany I know where you
- 20:09Speaker 3: are on this.
- 20:11Speaker 2: You don't like it.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Also, the prices were just so high. Maybe make a
- 20:14Speaker 1: dollar five dollars at the most. But yeah, it's just weird.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Others say it's silly, it's cute, it's fun, it's a novelty.
- 20:24Speaker 1: There's a QR code. I don't know. I'm just like,
- 20:26Speaker 1: I'm not feeling the vibe of it.
- 20:29Speaker 3: So let's see, Tubs, you're getting married soon, right, Yeah,
- 20:32Speaker 3: that's the plan.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Well that's the big plan. We just don't know what.
- 20:36Speaker 1: We were just asking Tubs like literally this question, would.
- 20:39Speaker 2: You do this?
- 20:40Speaker 9: Mmm?
- 20:42Speaker 5: What about it?
- 20:44Speaker 1: He's could use the money for the honeymoon.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Fu it would help Ruby. Let me go to your ruby?
- 20:50Speaker 2: Would you? Would you get David do this?
- 20:52Speaker 1: I'm not mad at it, honestly, why not? It's divided here.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Johnny, You're you look like a sour puss.
- 21:01Speaker 5: I I I have such a different opinion because I
- 21:06Speaker 5: feel like I, when you're asking somebody to come to
- 21:10Speaker 5: your wedding, you shouldn't ask them to pay your you're
- 21:13Speaker 5: their guest.
- 21:14Speaker 3: So however, we did pay quite a bit to get
- 21:17Speaker 3: to your web.
- 21:18Speaker 5: But that's what I'm saying when you when you're doing
- 21:20Speaker 5: a destination wedding, I don't that for me. I don't
- 21:25Speaker 5: like that idea.
- 21:26Speaker 3: And also it doesn't matter. But the room I paid
- 21:29Speaker 3: for I didn't actually get. But you know it's not Tanya's.
- 21:34Speaker 1: It's not my fault at all.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it didn't bother me at all.
- 21:37Speaker 1: It didn't bother by the way I love my room.
- 21:40Speaker 1: I was like, I was like the best I wanted.
- 21:44Speaker 2: I was going to move in with you and Michael.
- 21:46Speaker 3: I was there by myself, I could have easily slept
- 21:48Speaker 3: on the couch exactly one A.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Two point seven kiss FM. It's time afore Ryan's roses.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Dear Sisney, Ryan, Tanya, my husband and I got into
- 22:05Speaker 3: a huge fight.
- 22:06Speaker 2: We're not currently speaking to each other.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Oh man, I hate to see that, But I need
- 22:12Speaker 3: to get to the bottom of why his co worker
- 22:15Speaker 3: is in his phone as future wifey.
- 22:21Speaker 1: I am confused.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Now, what if he knew this person for a long
- 22:24Speaker 3: time and never updated the contact.
- 22:26Speaker 2: I guess you should once you get married. Yeah, it's
- 22:29Speaker 2: probably a good idea.
- 22:30Speaker 5: Well, sometimes the contacts don't necessarily like they'll still show
- 22:34Speaker 5: old things that you used to save them as.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Let's get Jen on the line here, Jen, we know
- 22:40Speaker 3: the story. Hi, did you address this with your husband yet? I?
- 22:48Speaker 10: Okay? So he works with the chick Lexi and you know,
- 22:54Speaker 10: he that was the first time that I ever blew
- 22:58Speaker 10: up at him, was because why is someone sexy Lexi
- 23:01Speaker 10: in your lexicon?
- 23:02Speaker 6: Okay?
- 23:03Speaker 10: And he said that there was something that his coworkers
- 23:07Speaker 10: called her, and you know that was you know, I'm
- 23:12Speaker 10: I try to be open minded, but when I, you know,
- 23:16Speaker 10: I saw that he had a text message from her
- 23:18Speaker 10: that was a heart and her name is future wifey
- 23:23Speaker 10: in his phone. That is when I blew up at him.
- 23:29Speaker 10: And by the way, I used to be wifey in
- 23:32Speaker 10: his phone And now I'm just Jen, so.
- 23:37Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, And so.
- 23:39Speaker 10: He's getting text messages from future Wifey. He's getting late
- 23:42Speaker 10: night heart messages from future Wifey, who is apparently Sexy Lexi.
- 23:47Speaker 4: In the office.
- 23:48Speaker 10: And you know, when I asked him about it the
- 23:53Speaker 10: first time, like, why is she future Wifey in your phone?
- 23:55Speaker 10: Obviously I was saying it a lot more heatedly than that.
- 23:58Speaker 6: Then I just said it on the phone right now.
- 24:01Speaker 10: But she said that it was because Lexi thinks it's
- 24:03Speaker 10: funny to go into his phone and mess with things
- 24:06Speaker 10: and change stuff.
- 24:07Speaker 9: And I don't like any of them, even if that's
- 24:10Speaker 9: the case for so long a right, exactly, Jen, Hold
- 24:15Speaker 9: on one second, we are going to get organized to
- 24:18Speaker 9: call your husband and find out what in the world
- 24:20Speaker 9: is going on.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Kiss FM out. We're into Ryan's roses right now. Jen
- 24:28Speaker 3: reached out and she saw in her husband's phone that
- 24:32Speaker 3: he's got someone of the contacts, future Wifey. This future
- 24:35Speaker 3: WiFi person is named sexy Lexi at work. I mean,
- 24:37Speaker 3: all this is wrong, and her name used to be
- 24:41Speaker 3: Wifey in his contacts and now it's just says.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Jen, that's weird.
- 24:45Speaker 3: It's deliberately weird. Yeah, how long you been married to
- 24:49Speaker 3: this guy.
- 24:51Speaker 10: We've been married eight years.
- 24:53Speaker 3: All right, we are going to call him now and
- 24:55Speaker 3: see if Lexi's top of minor, your top of minor
- 24:58Speaker 3: who he sends roses to? Very telling, I need you
- 25:00Speaker 3: to say Ryan, you have my permission to call, and
- 25:03Speaker 3: then his name, Ryan, you.
- 25:06Speaker 10: Have my permission to call my husband.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Be very quiet, Jed, do not speak up until we
- 25:14Speaker 3: tell him he's on the air. We got to get
- 25:15Speaker 3: as much information from this flower call as we can.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Here we go, Hi.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Can I speak to Chris please?
- 25:37Speaker 6: Yes?
- 25:38Speaker 1: Hi, my name is Devin. I'm calling from La Blooms.

- 26:27Speaker 6: Send them to Alexandra?
- 26:30Speaker 1: Alexandra, and what would you like to put on the card?
- 26:35Speaker 6: H how about counting the days?
- 26:39Speaker 1: Counting the counting the days, counting the days.
- 26:45Speaker 6: And then just my first initial see for Chris.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Okay, Chris, explain yourself. Your voice is being broadcast on
- 26:54Speaker 3: the radio. Chris, your wife jen is on the phone,
- 27:00Speaker 3: and now you're counting the days down to sexy LEXI.
- 27:04Speaker 3: We know her name, we know what they call our work.
- 27:07Speaker 3: We know that in your phone she's under the contact
- 27:11Speaker 3: future wifey.
- 27:13Speaker 2: What say you?
- 27:16Speaker 6: Oh, this is not a conversation I'm interested in having
- 27:20Speaker 6: right now.
- 27:21Speaker 3: By the way, no one should be having this conversation ever,
- 27:24Speaker 3: So let's have it. Chris, are you planning something with
- 27:28Speaker 3: your future? And Alexandra?
- 27:33Speaker 1: Uh, just just come clean, Chris, you're cheating on your wife.
- 27:42Speaker 3: You just told us you're cheating on your wife with Alexander,
- 27:44Speaker 3: you said in her rose?
- 27:46Speaker 2: And now what are you planning to do? What's the
- 27:48Speaker 2: countdown of days? Four?
- 27:52Speaker 6: I mean my wife and I can talk about this.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Yeah, she's writer, Jen.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Go ahead, Hi, yes.
- 28:01Speaker 10: Chris, Hi, I'm on the line. Do you remember me?
- 28:04Speaker 10: I'm Jen, I'm your wife, and I knew that you
- 28:06Speaker 10: were sleeping with Lexi. You are such a terrible liar.
- 28:11Speaker 10: Why don't you just admit it?
- 28:12Speaker 6: Okay, like good fun, Fine, I admit it. Yes, I've
- 28:17Speaker 6: been seeing.
- 28:17Speaker 10: How long has it been going on for that?
- 28:20Speaker 6: Can you blame me? Listen to yourself and it never
- 28:24Speaker 6: ends the side of your voice? Hold on?
- 28:26Speaker 2: What do you mean the sound of my way?
- 28:27Speaker 10: Do you ever think? Do you ever think of me
- 28:30Speaker 10: or your daughter for one second before hopping into bed
- 28:35Speaker 10: with this woman, before sending her roses instead of sending.
- 28:38Speaker 11: Roses to your wife.
- 28:39Speaker 10: You're insane.
- 28:41Speaker 6: Look what I'm saying is whether I'm having an affair
- 28:44Speaker 6: or not. I don't even know why you would care.
- 28:47Speaker 6: You seem miserable. You never stop complaining. I can't do
- 28:50Speaker 6: anything right the second I walk in the doors. Take
- 28:52Speaker 6: off your shoes, don't put that there, don't sit there.
- 28:55Speaker 6: Why do you clear your throat so much? Can you
- 28:56Speaker 6: chew quieter? Why do you seize so loudly? It never
- 28:59Speaker 6: is so you are?
- 29:01Speaker 10: You were, so you were? You're exaggerating and that is no,
- 29:05Speaker 10: and it does not.
- 29:08Speaker 6: And she and you roll your eyes. I mean, at
- 29:11Speaker 6: least LEXI actually treats me like a person. I haven't
- 29:14Speaker 6: felt like that in years, So.
- 29:17Speaker 4: Treat you like a person.
- 29:18Speaker 10: I'm your wife of eight years, we have a child together.
- 29:22Speaker 6: Well that's a red flag.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Flag.
- 29:27Speaker 3: If you're having all of these issues, then tell your
- 29:30Speaker 3: wife you want out before you just escape quietly and
- 29:35Speaker 3: plan whatever you're planning in a few days behind her back.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Like it's fair to not be happy.
- 29:40Speaker 3: It's fair if if what you say is true, But
- 29:43Speaker 3: you need to tell her you want out.
- 29:48Speaker 6: I don't want to see my my daughter more. I
- 29:50Speaker 6: want to see her more than just like on weekends.
- 29:52Speaker 10: It's oh, you are never going to see our daughter.
- 29:56Speaker 10: You are never going to.
- 29:57Speaker 2: See this true? Jen?
- 29:59Speaker 3: I mean, do you does he have any I know
- 30:01Speaker 3: he shouldn't be doing? Does like do any of these
- 30:04Speaker 3: things sound true to you?
- 30:07Speaker 10: Which part that him being a terrible liar?
- 30:10Speaker 3: Being a relationship?
- 30:13Speaker 2: You're not happy?
- 30:15Speaker 10: You counsel we're working, we're working, we're working on us.
- 30:20Speaker 10: I mean I thought we were working on us. I'm
- 30:22Speaker 10: not really trying.
- 30:23Speaker 6: To you're counseling. I mean I've offered. I've suggested that
- 30:26Speaker 6: so many times at this point I've lost count because
- 30:30Speaker 6: we roll your eyes.
- 30:31Speaker 10: Like I said that we could go to counseling when
- 30:35Speaker 10: you set it up, and you also, I don't know,
- 30:37Speaker 10: set aside the time for someone to take our child
- 30:40Speaker 10: to childcare while we're in counseling together, and because you're
- 30:43Speaker 10: not doing both, and okay, as in, schedule the counseling
- 30:47Speaker 10: appointment and make sure that all the operational things that
- 30:50Speaker 10: mostly I take care of are also accounted for so
- 30:53Speaker 10: we can go to counseling and work on us. And
- 30:55Speaker 10: you know what, what do you do? You shuffle off
- 30:57Speaker 10: and you you receive tech messages from sexy Lexi at
- 31:00Speaker 10: one am okay with hearts and you know, googly eyes,
- 31:04Speaker 10: and then you you you say that it's my problem
- 31:07Speaker 10: that I'm maybe my disgust is coming from the just
- 31:10Speaker 10: blatant disrespect that I'm constantly getting from you all the time.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Air.
- 31:17Speaker 6: Look, you're a mag and I'm tired of it. I mean, seriously,
- 31:27Speaker 6: you never stopped. You're never happy.
- 31:29Speaker 4: You know what.
- 31:33Speaker 10: I'll be happier when it's just me and my daughter
- 31:35Speaker 10: and you and Sexy LEXI can kick rocks.
- 31:38Speaker 3: Okay, Okay for real, Look guys, yeah, we understand there's
- 31:43Speaker 3: what's happening in your relationship, Chris. You tried to handle
- 31:47Speaker 3: it in a smart way by getting counseling, and then
- 31:51Speaker 3: you did the wrong thing by starting this other relationship
- 31:54Speaker 3: behind her back.
- 31:54Speaker 2: So anyway, we're gonna let you go.
- 31:56Speaker 3: I hope you can work out a peaceful situation, especially
- 32:00Speaker 3: for your daughter.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Jen.
- 32:02Speaker 3: Thank you for reaching out. All right, that's Ryan's roses.
- 32:06Speaker 3: All right, good luck to you there, Jen.
- 32:08Speaker 1: They're done well.
- 32:10Speaker 3: They've been done. And he was actually haling it the
- 32:12Speaker 3: right way, it sounded like until he trying to get
- 32:15Speaker 3: counseling and she fought that.
- 32:17Speaker 2: But he should just said I want out. Then you're
- 32:20Speaker 2: not helping the situation. Kiss on Air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 32:29Speaker 3: One on two point seven Kiss FM. All right, let's
- 32:32Speaker 3: go back to Ryan's roses here. So we have a couple,
- 32:37Speaker 3: Jen and Chris and Chris he was not in a
- 32:42Speaker 3: good situation with his wife. He basis that she nags
- 32:45Speaker 3: all the time, she's never happy, and he tried to
- 32:47Speaker 3: get her to go to marriage counseling and she wouldn't
- 32:49Speaker 3: do it. So all of that is fine. You have
- 32:54Speaker 3: problems in your relationship and you suggest counseling.
- 32:57Speaker 2: That's a good solution if you can do it.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 33:00Speaker 2: But then he took the wrong turn.
- 33:02Speaker 3: He finally got so fed up that if all that
- 33:05Speaker 3: was true, he got so fed up that he started
- 33:07Speaker 3: cheating on his wife with someone at work, and he
- 33:12Speaker 3: sent the roses to her and say counting down the days,
- 33:14Speaker 3: and then he said the words, how could you blame me?
- 33:16Speaker 3: You drove me out of this? Well, I mean, if
- 33:18Speaker 3: he got driven out, then just say you want out.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Beak up at that point, don't cheat.
- 33:23Speaker 3: Exact at that point when it's not working is she
- 33:25Speaker 3: doesn't want to go to counseling and you can't stand
- 33:28Speaker 3: it anymore. If all that's true, either figure out a
- 33:30Speaker 3: way to solve it or just say it's not working.
- 33:32Speaker 1: But he's being selfish about it, and that was the thing.
- 33:35Speaker 1: His daughter. He was just like, I don't want to
- 33:38Speaker 1: have her only on weekends, and a divorce is expensive
- 33:41Speaker 1: and so he wants to have both lives. Yeah, it's
- 33:44Speaker 1: not okay.
- 33:46Speaker 3: No, it's definitely not okay. But he was on the
- 33:48Speaker 3: right path until he wasn't.
- 33:50Speaker 1: He despises his wife. He's like the sound of your voice,
- 33:53Speaker 1: like he just doesn't love her. People can get that way,
- 33:57Speaker 1: horrible people can get that way. So I'm afraid of marriage.
- 34:03Speaker 1: That wouldn't happen to you.
- 34:04Speaker 2: What would happen to me?
- 34:06Speaker 1: Divorce?
- 34:07Speaker 2: No, because I would be dead soon, you know, I'll.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Make Oh my gosh, if.
- 34:11Speaker 2: I got married in five years, think about it.
- 34:13Speaker 1: You can't you.
- 34:14Speaker 5: Stop, No, because you would communicate with your partner, and
- 34:18Speaker 5: you wouldn't go down that path. You would communicate if
- 34:21Speaker 5: things were not going to where that you wanted, or
- 34:24Speaker 5: you have so much more life to.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Live, like you're not.
- 34:27Speaker 2: I'm not married yet. Fine, good point, Kayla. Good morning,
- 34:30Speaker 2: al Hambra, how are you hi?
- 34:33Speaker 10: Good morning?
- 34:34Speaker 2: So you heard this Ryan's roses and what's your view
- 34:38Speaker 2: on it?
- 34:40Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 34:41Speaker 10: That was really bad.
- 34:43Speaker 12: So I'm divorced, and I lived in misery for a
- 34:46Speaker 12: long long time just because I didn't want my daughter
- 34:50Speaker 12: to have a new mommy.
- 34:52Speaker 8: And all of that.
- 34:53Speaker 12: I never cheated like this scenario but I get staying
- 34:57Speaker 12: in that type of situation just because divorce is awful,
- 35:02Speaker 12: especially after you know with someone for so long and
- 35:05Speaker 12: you know, you just keep trying and trying and anyway,
- 35:07Speaker 12: But like, I'm in a better place now, and I
- 35:11Speaker 12: mean it doesn't seem like it now, but I'm sure
- 35:14Speaker 12: that christ and Jin will be to once once you know,
- 35:18Speaker 12: they get through this.
- 35:20Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know that they're gonna. I
- 35:22Speaker 2: don't know that getting through it's what they need. They
- 35:25Speaker 2: may need to get No, they need.
- 35:27Speaker 1: To get through it. She means like actually getting divorced.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Yeah, it sounds like they're at that place.
- 35:35Speaker 12: Where it's I think they've been done for a long time.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they've sure been done.
- 35:40Speaker 2: All right, Well, thank you Caylea for listening in Alhambra.
- 35:44Speaker 1: He's so done. He has Lexi and his phone as future.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Wife and he changed her name from wifey to jen.
- 35:50Speaker 3: It's all wrong. Yeah, that's Ryan's roses. You can hear
- 35:53Speaker 3: it every Monday and every Thursday.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Los Angeles. All right, let's go Lincoln Heights.
- 36:01Speaker 3: I think this is relationship advice, our wheelhouse, our specialty,
- 36:07Speaker 3: Yvonne or how do people what do people say correctly
- 36:13Speaker 3: with your.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Name, Yvon, you're right Avon. Well welcome Levon. Nice to
- 36:19Speaker 2: have you on. So tell me you ran into your
- 36:21Speaker 2: ex where and what happened?
- 36:25Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 36:25Speaker 11: So I just ran into my ex in like the
- 36:27Speaker 11: most random place.
- 36:29Speaker 6: It was the d m V.
- 36:31Speaker 11: That's pretty random, really. I was just there, Yeah, I
- 36:34Speaker 11: was there getting my my real ID. And I guess
- 36:38Speaker 11: he had some kind of issue with his car registration
- 36:41Speaker 11: or something. But I hadn't seen him in a really
- 36:44Speaker 11: long time, and I kind of feel like this is
- 36:45Speaker 11: a sign that maybe we should get back together.
- 36:48Speaker 6: Is it a sign that we should? I feel like,
- 36:52Speaker 6: hold on.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Why did you? Why did you break up?
- 36:58Speaker 11: Honestly, we just had really different priorities. I really wanted
- 37:02Speaker 11: something serious, and I feel like he was still in
- 37:05Speaker 11: his going out all the time phase. But after I
- 37:08Speaker 11: saw him at the DMV, he just looked really like
- 37:11Speaker 11: grown up.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Is older or younger than you are.
- 37:16Speaker 11: He's a little older than me.
- 37:19Speaker 1: What did you feel when you saw him? Did you
- 37:21Speaker 1: get like the tingly butterfly feeling, really she wants.
- 37:23Speaker 2: To get back together?
- 37:25Speaker 11: Kinda? Yeah? I mean I hadn't seen him in so long.
- 37:28Speaker 11: It just I don't know I wasn't expecting. I just
- 37:30Speaker 11: wasn't expecting to see him. It's like a random place
- 37:32Speaker 11: to run into somebody, right.
- 37:34Speaker 3: But I think this is something that like your your
- 37:36Speaker 3: knee jerk reaction is to think, you know what, I
- 37:39Speaker 3: loved him, I liked him, it's easy. I met somebody else.
- 37:43Speaker 3: We should try it again. But he didn't work out
- 37:46Speaker 3: for a reason. And I'm not so sure that reason
- 37:49Speaker 3: or those reasons disappear so fast.
- 37:51Speaker 5: Yeah, but as time goes on his life priorities might
- 37:55Speaker 5: have changed.
- 37:56Speaker 2: And how long? How long ago was the breakup?
- 38:00Speaker 11: It was about a year and a half ago.
- 38:02Speaker 1: I think it's still kind of fresh.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Is he single?
- 38:07Speaker 11: I think so. We didn't really get into that, but
- 38:10Speaker 11: I think he is.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Do you guys talk for a long time. Was it easy?
- 38:16Speaker 11: It was really easy, Like we kind of just fell
- 38:18Speaker 11: back into conversation. And I don't know, I think it
- 38:21Speaker 11: just kind of threw me. I wasn't expecting to see.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Him, Yvonne.
- 38:26Speaker 3: I'm not so sure that the things that you broke
- 38:30Speaker 3: up about would disappear. But I will say this, I'm
- 38:35Speaker 3: a big believer in fate and timing as the stars.
- 38:41Speaker 3: And if he was there, what are the odds the
- 38:44Speaker 3: same time for the same thing. Maybe you connect with him,
- 38:49Speaker 3: you have a text, conversation, coffee, a bite to eat,
- 38:52Speaker 3: and just feel it out, but don't jump into it all.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Of a sudden.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Yeah that's that's a good advice.
- 38:58Speaker 11: Yeah, that's a good idea.
- 39:00Speaker 2: All right, Well, keep us posted.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm investing.
- 39:05Speaker 2: Keep using the loop on this all right. Mm hmm,
- 39:09Speaker 2: thank you, thank you for calling.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Thanks, bye bye.
- 39:14Speaker 2: She does not so sounds so happy.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Is that what she wants? I think we nailed.
- 39:20Speaker 3: It's it's worth a try, it's worth a check.
- 39:24Speaker 1: I think so too. And I'm usually like once they're
- 39:28Speaker 1: your acts, they're your act, you're.
- 39:29Speaker 2: At it's out. It's a long time, two year and
- 39:31Speaker 2: a half.
- 39:32Speaker 1: I feel like.
- 39:33Speaker 5: It's it's not enough time for him to go from
- 39:36Speaker 5: wanting to party to wanting to settle down.
- 39:38Speaker 1: That's true. Why couldn't he change a year ago for her?
- 39:41Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 39:42Speaker 1: Annoying. I don't think that should get back together now.
- 39:46Speaker 2: So kind of.
- 39:47Speaker 3: Hoping the show would go fast to get to this
- 39:49Speaker 3: city I've been excited to. I don't know why because
- 39:52Speaker 3: I didn't read the article, but I had to do
- 39:54Speaker 3: something about dating and height and I'm obviously very comfortable
- 39:58Speaker 3: at five eight with my height.
- 40:01Speaker 2: But what does it mean?
- 40:03Speaker 1: So Tinder is rolling out this new feature that's got
- 40:07Speaker 1: everyone talking, and they're testing a height filter. So basically,
- 40:12Speaker 1: if you're a Tender Platinum subscriber, so that's about forty
- 40:15Speaker 1: dollars a month, you can now set a minimum and
- 40:18Speaker 1: maximum height for potential matches. Mom, if I was on
- 40:23Speaker 1: the apps, I would totally pay forty bucks a month
- 40:26Speaker 1: to like funnel out the exact height.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Would you put your height up there?
- 40:30Speaker 1: Well? No, this is the height that you want for
- 40:32Speaker 1: a potential match. Yeah, okay, it's your wish list. Like
- 40:36Speaker 1: for me, I always wanted to be with somebody those
- 40:38Speaker 1: six foot or taller.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Don't care.
- 40:41Speaker 1: That's just me. Some people do care about height, Okay,
- 40:45Speaker 1: so keep going.
- 40:46Speaker 2: I mean I think people might care about my height.
- 40:49Speaker 5: I don't care about height.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Tinder says they're trying this out how to help people
- 40:55Speaker 1: connect more intentionally, but not everyone's buying it. Some folks
- 40:59Speaker 1: are calling it superficial and discriminatory, while others say, hey,
- 41:03Speaker 1: other apps like Hinge already have this, But Tinder's new
- 41:07Speaker 1: CEO is trying to shake off the apps hookup heavy
- 41:10Speaker 1: image and appeal more to gen Z users looking for
- 41:13Speaker 1: meaningful connections. They don't want to be known as the
- 41:16Speaker 1: hookup app, which Tinder kind of has that reputation that
- 41:20Speaker 1: there's no like meaningful relationships that come out of Tinder.
- 41:23Speaker 1: You go to bumble hinge other apps for that. But
- 41:27Speaker 1: the heighth filter has sparked a lot of debate online,
- 41:29Speaker 1: and I think that it's just an interesting take. If
- 41:32Speaker 1: you know what you want, what's the point of like
- 41:35Speaker 1: meeting somebody, chatting with them, going out on a date,
- 41:38Speaker 1: and then when you get there, they're five to six
- 41:40Speaker 1: and you're like five eight, and you're like, I will
- 41:43Speaker 1: never because sometimes you don't know.
- 41:46Speaker 5: Yeah, like you don't know what's best for you.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Sometimes you know what you want, but.
- 41:52Speaker 2: Sometimes you don't care about the height.
- 41:56Speaker 1: People care about the height.
- 41:59Speaker 3: I have been in the past, do I mind that
- 42:03Speaker 3: said person is taller than I am and especially in heels?
- 42:07Speaker 2: And I say, no, well you're different.
- 42:09Speaker 1: But I have girlfriends that are like deal. Know, like
- 42:13Speaker 1: when they're looking through profiles, they'll be like, oh my gosh,
- 42:16Speaker 1: he's sitting down in all his pictures and that's for
- 42:19Speaker 1: a reason. You know, he's not comparing it's a picture
- 42:22Speaker 1: with him and all his bros.
- 42:24Speaker 13: You can tell you a man with his bros, thank you,
- 42:27Speaker 13: because if it's a picture with his bros and he's
- 42:29Speaker 13: sitting down or they're all sitting down, he doesn't have
- 42:31Speaker 13: any standing pictures with his bros, then you can see that.
- 42:35Speaker 1: There's a height not I don't say issue, but do
- 42:38Speaker 1: you know.
- 42:41Speaker 14: It's so true all of our wedding pictures with and
- 42:47Speaker 14: his groomsmen, he's like in the middle, he's the shortest
- 42:49Speaker 14: and all his groomsmen are like towering over him.
- 42:52Speaker 2: And why is that so funny?
- 42:55Speaker 3: Like you're so excited to say it, and I find
- 42:59Speaker 3: it not so so funny.
- 43:01Speaker 5: He finds it funny too.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Oh really, I think he's being nice to his wife.
- 43:08Speaker 3: Beat down inside. He cries at night when you're asleep
- 43:11Speaker 3: under your Harry Styles pillow.
- 43:17Speaker 2: Over it?
- 43:18Speaker 1: You should have did you incorporate the Harry Styles pillow
- 43:20Speaker 1: into the wedding?
- 43:24Speaker 3: The naked uncle I couldn't get to. The naked uncle
- 43:27Speaker 3: story was all I needed. And also, yeah, Harry's I
- 43:29Speaker 3: was told not to go like to Harry Styles because
- 43:32Speaker 3: I think that's the one guy that he does not
- 43:34Speaker 3: like to hear about. That's good one two point seven
- 43:39Speaker 3: Kiss FM. Tomorrow we shall do it again and dare
- 43:45Speaker 3: I say it? Tomorrow is finally Friday nine. Have a
- 43:52Speaker 3: good Thursday, guys.
- 43:53Speaker 2: Thanks for listening so on air with Ryan Seacrest. Make
- 43:56Speaker 2: sure to subscribe and we'll talk to you again tomorrow
