Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: To us this afternoon. Lead us and gentlemen, let's welcome
- 0:03Speaker 1: Apostle Salmon as a bless us us today, a true
- 0:08Speaker 1: apostles the Lord. Thank you, he's so so very much.
- 0:29Speaker 1: It's my pleasure. I want us to honor the State
- 0:34Speaker 1: Chairman of PFM. I truly honor you, sir.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Thank you so much for send Davis and his wife,
- 0:39Speaker 2: and then all the executives. I have learned the difference
- 0:44Speaker 2: between people as friends, brothers and in their official capacity,
- 0:48Speaker 2: and I will never abuse that.
- 0:50Speaker 1: I honor every single one of you in that capacity.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Let's give them a big, big God bless you in
- 0:57Speaker 1: the name of Jesus. And I want to salute and
- 1:02Speaker 1: honor every man of God. Most people here are preachers.
- 1:07Speaker 1: We do not do the things that we do because
- 1:10Speaker 1: we're necessarily better. It's an election of grace and the
- 1:14Speaker 1: messy of God. My coming here this afternoon is to
- 1:18Speaker 1: help by the spirit to make contributions to our efficiency
- 1:22Speaker 1: as ministers of the gospel. And then under this umbrella,
- 1:27Speaker 1: and I'm hoping that a few minutes that we have
- 1:29Speaker 1: to spend together, that God will add grace to grace,
- 1:34Speaker 1: faith to faith. In the name of Jesus in the
- 1:37Speaker 1: name of Jesus Christ as a god man again, I
- 1:40Speaker 1: know you. Thank you so very much. Let's lift our
- 1:43Speaker 1: hands and ask a lot to speak to us within
- 1:47Speaker 1: these minutes that we have to share fellowship together. Someone
- 1:51Speaker 1: is praying. My heart is opened. Speak to me. Let
- 2:00Speaker 1: the words bring perspective to my efficiency as a minister
- 2:04Speaker 1: of the gospel. Let PFN go from glory to glory.
- 2:12Speaker 1: In Jesus' mighty name, we pray help us this afternoon,
- 2:16Speaker 1: Spirit of the Living God, speak to us, cause us
- 2:20Speaker 1: to understand and that we make progress in life, destiny
- 2:25Speaker 1: and even in ministry. To you be all the glory
- 2:28Speaker 1: for in Jesus' name we pray. Please you may be
- 2:32Speaker 1: gloriously seated again, God bless you. I'll be talking about
- 2:36Speaker 1: three things very quickly. This is what the Holy Spirit
- 2:40Speaker 1: placed upon my heart as a contribution to all the discussions.
- 2:45Speaker 1: I understand that we have been under the influence of
- 2:48Speaker 1: various speakers with vast experiences across leadership and ministry, and
- 2:55Speaker 1: so this is an addition to the things that we
- 2:59Speaker 1: have learned this morning. And I'm praying that what will
- 3:03Speaker 1: be hearing will truly add value to our spiritual understanding
- 3:09Speaker 1: in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus.
- 3:13Speaker 1: So I'll be talking across three areas very very quickly,
- 3:19Speaker 1: and then hopefully will get to pray. And I consider
- 3:22Speaker 1: this a very great opportunity because I have learned from
- 3:26Speaker 1: scripture and by experience that the quality of believers across
- 3:32Speaker 1: any territory is a reflection of the kind and the
- 3:37Speaker 1: quality of priesthood within that territory. Also a way together.
- 3:42Speaker 1: That means, where you sample believers in no particular order
- 3:46Speaker 1: in Legos, it should be able to give you an
- 3:49Speaker 1: accurate feedback as so the quality of men and women
- 3:54Speaker 1: of God that we have serving His purposes here. And
- 3:57Speaker 1: so everyone here represents at least ten twenty thirty forty
- 4:02Speaker 1: people a network of churches. So in speaking to one leader,
- 4:05Speaker 1: you are literally speaking to thousands of people. And it's
- 4:08Speaker 1: a very noble honor. Hallelujah. Two Scriptures asks Chapter four,
- 4:16Speaker 1: I mean Collosans Chapter four and verse seventeen. Colloss four
- 4:21Speaker 1: and verse seventeen. Let me quote it quickly for sake
- 4:23Speaker 1: of time. It says say onto Occupos that you take
- 4:28Speaker 1: heed to the ministry that Thao has obtained or received
- 4:32Speaker 1: in the Lord, that thou fulfill it. Paul was speaking
- 4:37Speaker 1: to his son in the Gospel, and he says to
- 4:39Speaker 1: say onto Occupos, that you take heed. The word take
- 4:44Speaker 1: here there means be attentive, be descigning, be careful, be
- 4:47Speaker 1: intentional over the ministry that thou has received in the Lord.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Notice he never said the ministry you receive from the Lord.
- 4:57Speaker 1: To receive from the Lord means you don't need a relationship.
- 5:01Speaker 1: To receive in the Lord means it is a byproduct
- 5:04Speaker 1: of an encounter away together. The ministry you have received
- 5:09Speaker 1: in the Lord. Ministry is not just received from the Land.
- 5:13Speaker 1: It is received in the Lord, a derivative of your
- 5:17Speaker 1: knowing God. You're loving him, You're pressing into the things
- 5:20Speaker 1: of God. Let's consider one more scripture, Acts, Chapter twenty
- 5:25Speaker 1: and verse twenty eight Profound Scripture. This is a call
- 5:30Speaker 1: and a charge to shepherds those who love Jesus at
- 5:34Speaker 1: twenty twenty eight. May I request that we read it
- 5:37Speaker 1: in concert together. Ready one to read take heed therefore
- 5:42Speaker 1: onto yourselves, Aha, and to all the flock which the
- 5:47Speaker 1: Holy goals has made you over seers to feed the
- 5:52Speaker 1: Church of God. I like also reading one more time,
- 5:57Speaker 1: one to go. Take He therefore on to yourselves and
- 6:02Speaker 1: to all the flock over which the Holy Ghost had
- 6:06Speaker 1: made you over seers, to feed the Church of God
- 6:10Speaker 1: which he had purchased. Allelujah. Dotr. Bley made a statements
- 6:17Speaker 1: that I heard, and it was very profound, and I
- 6:20Speaker 1: think I would like to start from there. It matters
- 6:25Speaker 1: that we understand God's program. This is the first thing
- 6:29Speaker 1: that I need to talk about. And with all due respect,
- 6:32Speaker 1: I think one of the major issues that has affected
- 6:37Speaker 1: the efficiency of priesthood within this nation across the African
- 6:41Speaker 1: continent is that for most people there is no clarity
- 6:45Speaker 1: and definition as to God's program. So if you ask
- 6:50Speaker 1: a pastor what are you doing exactly? You can say
- 6:53Speaker 1: God said, go and raise me people. And while that
- 6:56Speaker 1: may be true, it is not concise enough to prove efficiency.
- 7:01Speaker 1: The average pastor is at a loss as to God's program.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Most men and women of God, with all due respect,
- 7:09Speaker 1: cannot give you an intelligent presentation of God's program, which
- 7:14Speaker 1: is the basis for ministry. Are we together? And once
- 7:18Speaker 1: that centrality of God's program does not govern your church activity,
- 7:24Speaker 1: does not govern your salmons, does not govern your conferences,
- 7:28Speaker 1: it is natural to veer off into error and even compromise.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Are we together now? It matters that every preacher, every
- 7:38Speaker 1: man of God, every intercessor, every general overseer, every superintendent,
- 7:43Speaker 1: you must be able to know this for yourself and
- 7:47Speaker 1: then raise leaders after disunderstanding what exactly is God's program?
- 7:53Speaker 1: What is God about across the nations? Are we together now?
- 7:57Speaker 1: And I want to say this, and and I say
- 8:00Speaker 1: this with a burden in my heart, but with every
- 8:02Speaker 1: sense of respect. There are certain things that are not
- 8:07Speaker 1: left to personal revelation. One of it is God's program.
- 8:11Speaker 1: God's program is not just revealed to an individual as
- 8:15Speaker 1: a secret. It is a template that is available to
- 8:18Speaker 1: everyone who desires to serve Him. Away together now, yes,
- 8:24Speaker 1: because I think one of the challenges I will wrap
- 8:26Speaker 1: up by identifying a few challenges with the Nigerian Church
- 8:30Speaker 1: and hopefully proferring a few solutions. And one of it
- 8:34Speaker 1: is the abuse of God said the abuse of I
- 8:40Speaker 1: had the Holy Spirit. The abuse of it has brought
- 8:43Speaker 1: a lot of chaos disorderliness.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Just because it's a spiritual.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Affair does not mean it cannot be vetted away together now, yes,
- 8:53Speaker 1: so I can come up with anything. And because spirituality
- 8:58Speaker 1: or the faith work is a relationship between me and God.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I can say this is what God told me. But
- 9:06Speaker 1: then there are standards according to scripture to george spirits
- 9:09Speaker 1: and to test all spirits. Are we learning already, so
- 9:13Speaker 1: let me not go ahead of myself. According to scripture
- 9:17Speaker 1: and in theologically, we have come to know God's agenda
- 9:21Speaker 1: to be called the Great Commission. And while that is
- 9:24Speaker 1: very simple enough, most people do not have a very
- 9:27Speaker 1: concise picture as to what the Great Commission is all about.
- 9:32Speaker 1: If you prove into the understanding of the average pastor,
- 9:35Speaker 1: you will find people who tell you the Great Commission
- 9:38Speaker 1: is about evangelism. You are right, but it is incomplete.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Others talk about transformation. You are rite what you are incomplete.
- 9:46Speaker 1: The Great Commission, as we know, is holistically revealed across
- 9:53Speaker 1: three scriptures.
- 9:54Speaker 3: There are three scriptures altogether that.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Really form the basis for the Great I'll just run
- 10:01Speaker 1: through them and then I'll listen out for sake of time.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Number one is found in Mark chapter sixteen. Please mark
- 10:07Speaker 1: chapter sixteen, from verse fifteen down to twenty. Jesus himself
- 10:12Speaker 1: is speaking. This is the first piece of what we
- 10:15Speaker 1: know as the Greek Commission that represents God's agenda. Everyone
- 10:21Speaker 1: in ministry should be about this. This is the construction.
- 10:25Speaker 1: This is literally the vision of all that we do
- 10:28Speaker 1: being casted from scripture. And he said, unto them, go
- 10:33Speaker 1: ye into all the world, and preach, preach the Gospel
- 10:38Speaker 1: to every creature. Verse sixteen. It says he that believeth
- 10:43Speaker 1: and is baptized shall be saved, and he that does
- 10:46Speaker 1: not believe shall be damned. So the first part of
- 10:48Speaker 1: the Greek commission has to do with the.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Preaching of the Gospel.
- 10:53Speaker 1: The second part of the Greek Commission is found in
- 10:56Speaker 1: Mark Matthew, chapter twenty eight from verse eight. Matthew, Chapter
- 11:01Speaker 1: twenty eight from verse eighteen, same Jesus speaking. This is
- 11:05Speaker 1: Matthew's synoptic account. Jesus came and speak onto them, saying
- 11:10Speaker 1: all authority is given on to me in heaven and
- 11:15Speaker 1: in the earth. And he says, go ye there for
- 11:18Speaker 1: verse nineteen. Now of yeah, go ye therefore and teach.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Now we see that he's going beyond preaching and teach
- 11:30Speaker 1: all nations.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Matt's account says, preach.
- 11:34Speaker 1: The Gospel to every creature. Now Matthew is saying, teach
- 11:39Speaker 1: all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,
- 11:43Speaker 1: the Son, and the Holy goes. I don't want to
- 11:45Speaker 1: go into the theological debate of this. That's not my assignment.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Now are we together now Verse twenty, he says, teaching
- 11:54Speaker 1: them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.
- 11:59Speaker 1: And while you are about this business, know that I
- 12:02Speaker 1: am with you all way onto the end of the world.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Please say amen. So the first aspect of the Great Commission,
- 12:09Speaker 1: representing God's agenda, has to do with the preaching of
- 12:13Speaker 1: the Gospel, and then the teaching discipleship. The last aspect
- 12:19Speaker 1: is found in Acts chapter one. From verse six. Acts
- 12:24Speaker 1: Chapter one, verse six, Jesus is having his final sessions
- 12:28Speaker 1: with the disciples so that they would receive the Holy Ghost.
- 12:32Speaker 1: And they came to him and said, Lord without at
- 12:35Speaker 1: this time restore the kingdom of Israel. The next verse,
- 12:39Speaker 1: Jesus replies and says, it is not for you to
- 12:41Speaker 1: know the times and the seasons which the Father has
- 12:44Speaker 1: put in his own power. Verse eight now says, but
- 12:47Speaker 1: you shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has
- 12:52Speaker 1: come upon you, and that empowerment will cause you to
- 12:56Speaker 1: be weaknesses weaknesses, And he defines that geography of the
- 13:00Speaker 1: witness first Jerusalem, then Judea, then Samaria. The entire goal
- 13:06Speaker 1: is the Autumno's part of the earth. When you combine
- 13:11Speaker 1: Mark sixteen, Matthew twenty eight and at chapter one, it
- 13:17Speaker 1: gives you the whole picture of what we call the
- 13:20Speaker 1: Greek Commission.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Now the challenge.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I came from an evangelical background, and so I understand
- 13:26Speaker 1: a bit of the limitations as we have been mentored
- 13:30Speaker 1: into understanding the Great Commission.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Because on the one hand, we have.
- 13:34Speaker 1: People who the entire scope of understanding God's agenda is evangelism,
- 13:39Speaker 1: and that is important.
- 13:41Speaker 3: But like you, will be learning.
- 13:43Speaker 1: And I think doctor Warey talked a bit about that
- 13:45Speaker 1: by the time you bring in the habits and leave
- 13:48Speaker 1: the habst that way, there are consequences even though you
- 13:51Speaker 1: gather the harvest. Are we together now, yes? And then
- 13:57Speaker 1: he talks about teaching, and then he taught about being witnesses.
- 14:04Speaker 3: What is the Great Commission?
- 14:06Speaker 1: I wrote here that the Great Commission is a mandate
- 14:10Speaker 1: given by Jesus to then his disciples, but today to
- 14:15Speaker 1: all believers, a mandate given by Jesus Christ. It was
- 14:20Speaker 1: then to his disciples, but now to all believers, to
- 14:24Speaker 1: reach the entire globe, please listen, To reach the entire
- 14:29Speaker 1: globe with the Gospel of Salvation, to bring nations to
- 14:36Speaker 1: the knowledge of the true discipleship, and to consequently bring
- 14:41Speaker 1: territorial and societal transformation. I will take that again that
- 14:47Speaker 1: the Great Commission, as given by Jesus, is a mandate
- 14:55Speaker 1: to reach the entire globe with the Gospel of s Salvation,
- 15:02Speaker 1: to bring nations to the knowledge of the truth through discipleship,
- 15:08Speaker 1: and to consequently bring territorial and societal transformation. Immediately, you
- 15:14Speaker 1: see that there are three aspects to the Great Commission,
- 15:19Speaker 1: and every time you deviate from any one of these,
- 15:23Speaker 1: you will corrupt the program. Number one, the first aspect
- 15:28Speaker 1: of the Great Commission is world evangelization. World evangelization, world evangelization,
- 15:35Speaker 1: reaching the lost. The Bible says that God desires that
- 15:39Speaker 1: all men be saved, all men be saved, all men
- 15:44Speaker 1: be saved, all men be saved. World evangelization. Statistically, they're
- 15:51Speaker 1: are about eight point now one billion people upon the earth.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Eight point one billion people.
- 15:58Speaker 1: I hope my statistics is still write eight point one
- 16:01Speaker 1: billion people and there's just a little over two point
- 16:05Speaker 1: six billion professing Christians statistically confirmed across the earth. Now
- 16:13Speaker 1: we have a mandate to reach the entire globe. Ladies
- 16:16Speaker 1: and gentlemen, it should challenge us that in spite of
- 16:19Speaker 1: the churches, the crusades, the conventions, the programs, the advantage
- 16:24Speaker 1: of internet intellectual privileges that we have, we have not
- 16:29Speaker 1: been able to cover even thirty percent, or twins or
- 16:34Speaker 1: forty percent of it. And yet we believe that when
- 16:37Speaker 1: in the end times we believe that we're wrapping up
- 16:39Speaker 1: the church age?
- 16:41Speaker 3: Are we together?
- 16:42Speaker 1: That means that we have not been doing a very
- 16:44Speaker 1: effective job from.
- 16:45Speaker 3: A statistical standpoint.
- 16:48Speaker 1: That if we have about two point six billion professing Christians,
- 16:53Speaker 1: this includes everything from backsliders to those who just identify
- 16:57Speaker 1: with the faith.
- 16:58Speaker 3: We're not talking of those who genuinely.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Saved, those who have filled a form and wrots there
- 17:04Speaker 1: that I am a Christian even in their idol worshipers.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Are we together?
- 17:11Speaker 1: Now? But look at this, Let me challenge you for
- 17:13Speaker 1: a moment. How many of you know that our social
- 17:17Speaker 1: media applications. I'm not sure that most of the applications
- 17:22Speaker 1: that we depend helplessly on are even more than twenty
- 17:25Speaker 1: to twenty five years. Yet somebody brought an idea that
- 17:30Speaker 1: broke the barrier of boundary. Somebody brought an idea that
- 17:34Speaker 1: broke the barrier of religion.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Somebody brought an idea.
- 17:38Speaker 1: That broke the barrier of education, and it's been received
- 17:42Speaker 1: by more people upon the earth. Within twenty years, someone
- 17:46Speaker 1: certain his room and formulated an idea that has made
- 17:50Speaker 1: the old and young, male and female Christians and non
- 17:53Speaker 1: Christians helplessly glued to those applications.
- 17:57Speaker 3: It means there is.
- 17:58Speaker 1: A formula for a more effect if world evangelization.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Are we together now?
- 18:03Speaker 1: If within twenty years, young people spelling their twenties came
- 18:10Speaker 1: up with an idea, an idea without the active acknowledgment
- 18:16Speaker 1: of the contribution of the Holy Spirit, are we together?
- 18:24Speaker 1: They never came up to say I open to you
- 18:27Speaker 1: that the Holy Spirit. They never attended an importation service,
- 18:31Speaker 1: they never received a prophetic world, and yet they came
- 18:35Speaker 1: up with an idea that all of us prophets and apostles,
- 18:38Speaker 1: with all the annointing, with all due respect, we are
- 18:41Speaker 1: helplessly dependent on those applications. It means there is something
- 18:45Speaker 1: God can place upon our lives that will cause the
- 18:48Speaker 1: advancement of the Gospel to break barriers. The level of
- 18:52Speaker 1: inefficiency that we are experiencing in our evangelism should be
- 18:57Speaker 1: a concern for anyone who loves Jesus. Are we together, yes, sir?
- 19:07Speaker 3: Number two.
- 19:08Speaker 1: The second aspect of the Great Commission is discipleship. Transforming
- 19:14Speaker 1: believers through discipleship. Transforming believers through discipleship, it matters what
- 19:23Speaker 1: we do with the harvest. Jesus called those fishers of men.
- 19:28Speaker 1: And once you fish, you don't drop the fish there
- 19:31Speaker 1: like that.
- 19:31Speaker 3: You have to work on it discipleship.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I can tell you this, and I submit to you
- 19:37Speaker 1: that the missing ingredient in the kind and the quality
- 19:41Speaker 1: of believers that have come out from this nation and
- 19:44Speaker 1: Africa is largely a product of the poor or known
- 19:50Speaker 1: level of discipleship whatsoever. The average believer is not methodically
- 19:57Speaker 1: mentored into understanding God and understanding.
- 20:01Speaker 3: The ways of God.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Al Chapter twenty udverse tharty Tude says, and now, brethren,
- 20:06Speaker 1: I commend you to God and to the world of
- 20:09Speaker 1: his grace, which is able to build you up, number one,
- 20:13Speaker 1: and then to give you an inheritance among them that
- 20:16Speaker 1: are sanctified, he says, and that from a child thou
- 20:19Speaker 1: hast known the Holy Scripture, which is able to make
- 20:23Speaker 1: you wise onto salvation. The Bible says and air for
- 20:26Speaker 1: as long as that is a child, that he differed
- 20:29Speaker 1: not from a slave, even though he be Lord of all.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Are we learning now? Paul said, when I came to you,
- 20:38Speaker 1: I couldn't speak of these things because you are still
- 20:41Speaker 1: yet as paved and not spiritual. The average believer cannot
- 20:46Speaker 1: defend his spiritual understanding. We know a little of everything,
- 20:51Speaker 1: a little of prayer here, a little of fasting here,
- 20:54Speaker 1: a little of breakthrough, a little of finances. Our growth
- 20:57Speaker 1: module is so scattered it does produce a people of stature.
- 21:02Speaker 1: No body attends lecture in any class in the university
- 21:06Speaker 1: and receives a degree. The program is constructive. That's why
- 21:10Speaker 1: you can predict that these naive students in six years
- 21:14Speaker 1: can be a medical doctor because of the quality of
- 21:17Speaker 1: the content beyond even the.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Lecturers' ability.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Away. Together, we must obtain grace from God and challenging
- 21:28Speaker 1: us in righteousness and with all humility. Let's stop maintaining members.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Let's raise witnesses the consciousness of maintenance of membership. Ten
- 21:41Speaker 1: years in church and they cannot defend their spiritual understanding.
- 21:49Speaker 1: But let me bring the test to us with all
- 21:51Speaker 1: due respect, their man of God, their Woman of God,
- 21:54Speaker 1: their co laborer at the gospel. Let me ask you
- 21:57Speaker 1: a question. What do you know about prayer? What do
- 22:00Speaker 1: you know about Satan? What do you know about Jesus?
- 22:04Speaker 1: What do you know about salvation? What do you know
- 22:07Speaker 1: about increase? What do you know about leadership? What do
- 22:11Speaker 1: you know about the anointing? What do you know about
- 22:13Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit? What do you know about warfare? What
- 22:17Speaker 1: do you know about growth? What do you know about restoration?
- 22:20Speaker 1: What do you know about administration? What do you know
- 22:23Speaker 1: about conflict management? These are the bodies of spiritual understanding
- 22:28Speaker 1: that makes an individual leader. Indeed, you cannot help the
- 22:32Speaker 1: people at the same level of understanding with them.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Are we together now?
- 22:39Speaker 1: Jesus called the people blind, leading the blind. He was
- 22:43Speaker 1: not insulting them. He was describing their spiritual states. Pick
- 22:51Speaker 1: an average member, five of them, put them on stage
- 22:55Speaker 1: and ask them questions. Talk to me about the gospel.
- 22:59Speaker 1: You will be surprised. The person is the head of
- 23:01Speaker 1: ushering and it does not know what the gospel is.
- 23:04Speaker 1: I do just know that Jesus died. Okay, how do
- 23:07Speaker 1: you need an unbeliever to become a child of God.
- 23:10Speaker 3: Well you confess the prayer. What does he say?
- 23:12Speaker 1: Because it is not every information about Jesus that saves.
- 23:17Speaker 1: There is an exact body of information about Jesus that
- 23:21Speaker 1: translates to salvation. It's a let it be known to
- 23:24Speaker 1: you or Israel that this same Jesus were crucified, has
- 23:28Speaker 1: today been exalted as Lord and Christ, and three thousand
- 23:31Speaker 1: people came.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Are we learning?
- 23:35Speaker 1: We need to go back and probe the basis for
- 23:38Speaker 1: our discipleship because the truth is, I hate to say this,
- 23:42Speaker 1: what many ministers are genuinely called what they are ill prepared.
- 23:47Speaker 1: It shows in the kinds of salmons that we bring.
- 23:50Speaker 1: It shows in the centrality. We bring a lot of
- 23:53Speaker 1: salmons that are clearly not doctrinal. They are largely opinions
- 23:58Speaker 1: or just copying from one person to the order, or
- 24:01Speaker 1: a transfer from poor mentorship. Are we together? What do
- 24:13Speaker 1: you know about prayer? What do you know about fasting?
- 24:17Speaker 1: What do you know about oil? What do you know
- 24:24Speaker 1: about mantos? What do you know about Satan and demons?
- 24:28Speaker 1: With all due respect, and I say this with every humility,
- 24:31Speaker 1: sense of humility, if I call any man of God
- 24:34Speaker 1: here in no particular order, and give you the mic.
- 24:36Speaker 1: I said, take five minutes out of my time teach us.
- 24:40Speaker 1: How do we take over territories? We all want growth,
- 24:45Speaker 1: But what is the formula? Because Jesus said the church
- 24:48Speaker 1: is built, there must be a formula. No architect begins
- 24:52Speaker 1: to build without a formula. What is the master plan?
- 24:55Speaker 1: We are called master builders, and God wants us to
- 24:58Speaker 1: be wise master builders. Another question, can you tell me
- 25:06Speaker 1: the kind of believer you are producing from your teaching
- 25:09Speaker 1: every day? If you don't have the picture, something is wrong.
- 25:13Speaker 1: A lecturer already has a picture of the kind of
- 25:16Speaker 1: student he's producing from the first day of the lecture.
- 25:20Speaker 1: He can assure the people that in five years an
- 25:24Speaker 1: architect is coming out of this lecture. Can you define
- 25:27Speaker 1: the kind of believer that our Sunday salmons, our conferences?
- 25:32Speaker 1: What kind of believer is in the mind of your spirits? Discipleship?
- 25:41Speaker 1: The key to effective discipleship is to understand doctrine. The
- 25:46Speaker 1: word doctrine comes from the Latin word doctriner. It means
- 25:50Speaker 1: a body of truth that turns a disciple to become
- 25:54Speaker 1: like his master. Doctrine.
- 25:58Speaker 3: Doctrines are not opinions.
- 26:01Speaker 1: The Bible says in Act chapter two and verse forty two,
- 26:04Speaker 1: it says, and they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine,
- 26:09Speaker 1: and in fellowship and in the breaking of bread and
- 26:13Speaker 1: in prayer. That was their apostolic model that was given
- 26:16Speaker 1: to them.
- 26:20Speaker 3: It's God helping us.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Every man of God who loves Jesus and loves his
- 26:24Speaker 1: program must go back.
- 26:26Speaker 3: And I'm saying this, I'm.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Just speaking apostolically to the body of Christ. We need
- 26:32Speaker 1: to re examine our spiritual understanding because that is where
- 26:37Speaker 1: our salmons come from. There are sermons that don't profit
- 26:41Speaker 1: the spiritual lives of the people nor blill them to
- 26:44Speaker 1: become effective witnesses.
- 26:46Speaker 3: So here is the progression.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Everybody starts as a nonbeliever in iniquity. Did my mother
- 26:54Speaker 1: concede me? Everybody nobody inherits salvation from the womb away together.
- 27:00Speaker 1: So the journey is that you start as an unbeliever.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Please watch this, and then by acknowledging the substitutionary sacrifice
- 27:08Speaker 1: of Christ translating to eternal life, you get to the
- 27:11Speaker 1: next level.
- 27:12Speaker 3: You are a believer.
- 27:13Speaker 1: And when you become a believer, there are three stages.
- 27:16Speaker 1: There is a babe one who is just saved, an infant,
- 27:21Speaker 1: but void of spiritual understanding. The moment you get transformed,
- 27:27Speaker 1: God introduces you to three ministries to continue the journey
- 27:31Speaker 1: to your maturity. Number one is the ministry of the
- 27:34Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. Number two is the ministry of the World.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Number three is the ministry of the teaching priests. Anybody
- 27:42Speaker 1: who lacks and encounter with these three ministries will have
- 27:46Speaker 1: a deformity in his spiritual growth. That is the order
- 27:50Speaker 1: that means. The moment an individual gets saved, it's important
- 27:54Speaker 1: he understands that there are three ministries about to be
- 27:58Speaker 1: introduced to his life and must embrace all of them.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Number one, I repeat the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Number two the ministry of the World, the Logos of God,
- 28:09Speaker 1: a compendium of the thoughts of God. And then number
- 28:12Speaker 1: three the ministry of a teaching priest. Jeremiah three fifteen,
- 28:16Speaker 1: and I will give you pastors or shepherds according to
- 28:20Speaker 1: my heart, and they will feed you with knowledge, They
- 28:23Speaker 1: will feed you with understanding. Allelujah. When this gentleman, whoever
- 28:31Speaker 1: he is now as a babe, encounters these three fold ministries,
- 28:36Speaker 1: they begin to journey him through the process of transformation.
- 28:39Speaker 1: What is transformation the name given to the process that
- 28:43Speaker 1: makes you become like Christ? In experience, it says, my
- 28:47Speaker 1: little children, of whom I traveil until now, until Christ
- 28:51Speaker 1: be formed in you. When the believer becomes transformed, that
- 28:58Speaker 1: is the second layer of the believer. The third layer
- 29:01Speaker 1: is empowerment. A believer, I can be transformed and yet
- 29:06Speaker 1: not empowered.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Jesus himself mentored his disciples.
- 29:09Speaker 1: For three and a half years. They were transformed, but
- 29:12Speaker 1: they were not empowered. So he said, carry you in Jerusalem.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Your issue is not an information deficiency. You do not
- 29:20Speaker 1: have power to defend the things that you know. It
- 29:24Speaker 1: is dangerous to only be transformed and not be empowered.
- 29:28Speaker 1: You will say many things that are correct, but not
- 29:30Speaker 1: be able to defend them. Many things. For instance, you
- 29:35Speaker 1: will be knowledgeable enough to know that God heals, but
- 29:38Speaker 1: you will never see healing. You will be knowledgeable to
- 29:41Speaker 1: know that God empowers, that God lives, but there is
- 29:44Speaker 1: no performance. Knowledge that brings transformation and then brings empowerment.
- 29:58Speaker 3: Now, please hear me.
- 30:00Speaker 1: The moment you encounter transformation and empowerment, you stop just
- 30:05Speaker 1: being a believer. You become a witness. A witness is
- 30:10Speaker 1: a believer who has gone through the school of transformation
- 30:14Speaker 1: and gone through the school of empowerment. A witness is
- 30:17Speaker 1: not somebody who starts ministry. You can start ministry and
- 30:21Speaker 1: in the spirit, you are not yet a witness. The
- 30:23Speaker 1: trigger for being a witness is that you would have
- 30:26Speaker 1: submitted yourself to transformation and submitted yourself to empowerment. This
- 30:31Speaker 1: is the model that Jesus showed us at age twelve.
- 30:35Speaker 1: He was at the temple learning the law, even though
- 30:38Speaker 1: he was the word himself, but that did not release
- 30:41Speaker 1: him to start ministry. The Bible tells us that he
- 30:43Speaker 1: met John and he told John. John said, I'm not
- 30:47Speaker 1: even worthy to untie the latchet of your shoe. He said,
- 30:50Speaker 1: so far to be so is an ordinance that Scripture
- 30:53Speaker 1: be fulfilled. And when he baptized John, the heavens opened,
- 30:56Speaker 1: and the Bible says the Holy goos descended upon him
- 30:59Speaker 1: in the similitude of a dove, and there was a
- 31:01Speaker 1: voice that said, this is my beloved son.
- 31:04Speaker 3: The question is what was he before.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Amen? So the challenge most times in Nigeria is that
- 31:16Speaker 1: most people are called, but they are not yet sent
- 31:21Speaker 1: and they go. There is a difference between being called
- 31:25Speaker 1: and sent. You are not called to do ministry. You
- 31:29Speaker 1: are called to Jesus. Then you are sent to the nations.
- 31:34Speaker 1: You are called to Jesus. Your calling is not to
- 31:37Speaker 1: a church. Your calling is to Jesus. The Bible says
- 31:40Speaker 1: he selected the disciples to be with him and then
- 31:44Speaker 1: that you will send them. Something happens when you are
- 31:47Speaker 1: with Jesus. It is from the residue of that encounter
- 31:50Speaker 1: your salmons come out. It is from the residue of
- 31:52Speaker 1: that encounter, your impact comes out. Just because you are
- 31:56Speaker 1: genuinely called does not mean you are being sent. Us
- 32:00Speaker 1: called the disciples from day one of his ministry, but
- 32:04Speaker 1: he only sends them when he resurrected.
- 32:06Speaker 3: The trigger was the coming of the Holy Spirit.
- 32:11Speaker 1: So we have a lot of zellous people who start
- 32:13Speaker 1: ministry with joy and passion, genuinely called. After one month,
- 32:18Speaker 1: they've exhausted everything they know to say. And it is
- 32:21Speaker 1: dangerous because when you have exhausted, do you know? Saturday
- 32:25Speaker 1: nights are the most frustrating nights for most pastors because
- 32:29Speaker 1: they have to think, what in the world am I
- 32:31Speaker 1: going to share? If His righteousness have preached on it. Holiness,
- 32:35Speaker 1: have preached on it, breakthrough, have preached on it, give it,
- 32:38Speaker 1: have preached on it, deliverance. What else do I say?
- 32:42Speaker 1: If you get into that state, it is proof that
- 32:45Speaker 1: something has tried in your spirit. I'm been very honest
- 32:50Speaker 1: with you. If you ever get to that state as
- 32:52Speaker 1: a man of God, go for a retreat first, It says,
- 32:55Speaker 1: that will show us a part of light. It is
- 32:57Speaker 1: in your light that we see light. That you are
- 33:02Speaker 1: so full of life. The days are not given enough
- 33:05Speaker 1: because there is so much. Are we together now? The
- 33:09Speaker 1: last thing I'll say about discipleship, and then I'll pass
- 33:11Speaker 1: that quickly. We're still talking on the great commission? Do
- 33:14Speaker 1: you know when it has to do it? Knowing the Lord,
- 33:18Speaker 1: there is no end to your knowledge. You will keep
- 33:21Speaker 1: learning Him even in heaven. But when it has to
- 33:24Speaker 1: do it building victorious people. The body of truth that
- 33:28Speaker 1: turns are not notive believered to a witness is finite.
- 33:32Speaker 1: It's not in finite. The body of knowledge that actually
- 33:36Speaker 1: makes the maturity of a believer is finite. Like a
- 33:39Speaker 1: curriculum that turns his students to a graduate, you can
- 33:43Speaker 1: exhaust it. The student's learning continues but as far as
- 33:48Speaker 1: that course of study is concerned, you can exhaust it.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Something plus something plus something plus something equals a mature Christian.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Building believers through maturity is not an infinite pursuit of knowledge.
- 34:05Speaker 1: And you are wondering there is an exact body of knowledge.
- 34:08Speaker 1: The Bible calls it marvelous light, the name given to
- 34:13Speaker 1: the body that makes tuture out of ordinary believers. It
- 34:17Speaker 1: is my considered opinion, and I hope you don't find
- 34:20Speaker 1: offense in it that if any member is faithful in
- 34:24Speaker 1: any shot for two years on that structured mentorship, and
- 34:28Speaker 1: that person cannot attain onto a state of maturity, is
- 34:32Speaker 1: either the man of God is wasting his time or
- 34:35Speaker 1: the individual is not serious with his growth. Away together
- 34:40Speaker 1: now prays the name of the Lord. It doesn't take
- 34:46Speaker 1: forever for the habilist in our villages to train another person.
- 34:50Speaker 1: They bring a naive person. The body of knowledge is exact.
- 34:55Speaker 1: They will tell you this young boy will be a
- 34:57Speaker 1: habi list in three years, and you will wor the
- 35:00Speaker 1: boy going every day and watching and watching, And after
- 35:04Speaker 1: three years they will now crown him the one who come,
- 35:07Speaker 1: who who brings meyhem? But how come with all due respect.
- 35:11Speaker 1: We have people who are being saved before some children
- 35:17Speaker 1: were born, and those children to their pastors, and the
- 35:19Speaker 1: people are not transformed. Nothing about their communication shows maturity.
- 35:27Speaker 1: We need to go back to our pul pits and
- 35:29Speaker 1: examine the content. The content is what produces victory or defeat.
- 35:35Speaker 1: It matters what the people hear. Thankfully, as a continent
- 35:38Speaker 1: and as a nation, we have people who are loyal
- 35:41Speaker 1: and passionate to hear. They are so passionate they don't
- 35:45Speaker 1: care what they hear. They trust you enough to hear,
- 35:48Speaker 1: and if what you are communicating his error, they are
- 35:50Speaker 1: still grateful. One thing the Bible tells us about being
- 35:57Speaker 1: a teacher is that you will be judged for having
- 36:00Speaker 1: access to the ears and the minds of people. Is
- 36:03Speaker 1: God's speaking to us. So the Great Commission has number
- 36:06Speaker 1: one world evangelization, number two discipleship. World evangelization is God's
- 36:13Speaker 1: program for the world of sinners. God has a program
- 36:17Speaker 1: for the world of sinners. It is called world evangelization.
- 36:21Speaker 1: God has a program for the saints. It is called discipleship.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Attaining maturity through discipleship. And then the third aspect I
- 36:30Speaker 1: will give you quickly is called territorial Transformation Matthew Chapter five,
- 36:37Speaker 1: from verse thirteen to sixteen. Jesus is teaching now, and
- 36:41Speaker 1: he begins by saying, you are the salt of the earth.
- 36:44Speaker 1: He says, but if the salt has lost his salt
- 36:46Speaker 1: in hasids seven, it says, where rich shall it be salted?
- 36:49Speaker 1: It is good for nothing except to be thrown down
- 36:52Speaker 1: and trampled a foot of men. Then it says, in
- 36:55Speaker 1: verse fourteen, you are the light of the world. He
- 36:59Speaker 1: calls us a city that is set on a hill
- 37:02Speaker 1: which cannot be hidden. It says, neither do men light
- 37:05Speaker 1: a candle and put it under a bushel, but they
- 37:09Speaker 1: put it on a candlestick, and it gives light to
- 37:12Speaker 1: everyone in the room. Verse sixteen now says, let your light.
- 37:16Speaker 1: The word let means permit, do not restrain it. Let
- 37:20Speaker 1: your light so shine before men that they may see.
- 37:25Speaker 1: God wants men to see that they may see your
- 37:29Speaker 1: good deeds and glorify your father. That means the way
- 37:33Speaker 1: God gets glory is when the sun's manifest good walks.
- 37:38Speaker 1: John chapter fifteen and verse eight. Herein is our Father
- 37:41Speaker 1: glorified when you bear much fruit. So shall you be
- 37:45Speaker 1: my disciples. John fifteen sixteen you have not chosen me,
- 37:49Speaker 1: but I have chosen you and ordained you that you
- 37:52Speaker 1: should go and bear much fruit, and that your fruit
- 37:55Speaker 1: should remain territorial transformation. I was very touch as we
- 38:02Speaker 1: heard the chairman bringing a lot of societal projects. Can
- 38:05Speaker 1: I tell you results are evangelists results? There are Salmon's
- 38:12Speaker 1: only results can preach and there is an audience that
- 38:18Speaker 1: was designed to hear that salmon. If all we keep
- 38:22Speaker 1: doing in church is falling on that the anointing and rolling,
- 38:25Speaker 1: let me assure you, society, we need to bring data
- 38:29Speaker 1: driven statistics that shows that the church is relevant. And
- 38:33Speaker 1: the way you do that is by becoming light and salt.
- 38:42Speaker 1: I don't mean to insult you, but there are many
- 38:44Speaker 1: beer parlors near the churches, and they're joining the praise
- 38:46Speaker 1: and worship while the praise and worship is going on.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Their rejoicings at this drama. It looks like they've changed
- 38:52Speaker 1: a new drama. No transformation within the territory, No transformation whatsoever.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Are we together.
- 39:03Speaker 1: And Roberts lean on the back of the church while
- 39:06Speaker 1: someone's are going waiting for service to be over, so
- 39:09Speaker 1: they will steal no transformation. I don't want to become
- 39:15Speaker 1: a part of any movement that does not speak to
- 39:17Speaker 1: the development of society. We must be very apostolic in
- 39:22Speaker 1: our approach. We must sell God in a way that
- 39:24Speaker 1: society will be ready to embrace him. It is the
- 39:27Speaker 1: reason why Christianity in many developed nations is being considered
- 39:31Speaker 1: as a nuisance because they do not have data driven
- 39:35Speaker 1: proof of relevance of church in nation building.
- 39:40Speaker 3: It's good to sing, it's good to shout, it's.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Good to fall and stand, but receive the wisdom that
- 39:45Speaker 1: came in the place of prayer and use it to
- 39:47Speaker 1: develop the society charitable organizations. By do you know, I
- 39:54Speaker 1: always why Jesus fired five thousand? Now I know the
- 39:58Speaker 1: feeding of the five thousands number one to prove that
- 40:02Speaker 1: he loved them.
- 40:03Speaker 3: But number two as a message with.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Roman government, we are not irrelevant and we are not
- 40:08Speaker 1: in usance because by the time you camp five thousand
- 40:14Speaker 1: people for three days and you don't feed them, you
- 40:18Speaker 1: have given the government a right to say you want
- 40:21Speaker 1: to kill these people. You are cult and they are right.
- 40:25Speaker 1: So Jesus said, don't let them go this way. There's
- 40:27Speaker 1: already enmity against this program. Feed them. Let them know
- 40:31Speaker 1: that there is an aspect of God's love that speaks
- 40:34Speaker 1: to nation building. Do you know women can sing a
- 40:37Speaker 1: lot of praises. I'm sure a lot of women sand
- 40:40Speaker 1: from the mountain. Where is Caesar? Where is Herald? Come
- 40:43Speaker 1: and see what Jesus is doing. You guys have been
- 40:45Speaker 1: scribes and pharisees for years. You never fed us? Can
- 40:52Speaker 1: I tell you the truth? Own believers can also be
- 40:56Speaker 1: used to evangelies. They will go to a senate and said,
- 41:01Speaker 1: this bohole came from the church, my daughter, Since today
- 41:06Speaker 1: court see the church. This marriage that would have scattered
- 41:11Speaker 1: was brought back court see the church.
- 41:14Speaker 3: I mean, I don't worship.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Power, but if you thought that, you see that now listen,
- 41:20Speaker 1: let me tell you this. Part of the principles of
- 41:23Speaker 1: dominion is that you must be able to translate the
- 41:27Speaker 1: God life to affect all an sundry, because He sends
- 41:31Speaker 1: rain both on the good. God has a program for society.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Are we together? Every man of God who has attained
- 41:40Speaker 1: a commendable size in ministry, you owe there is a
- 41:44Speaker 1: corporate social responsibility. You don't have to be an oil
- 41:47Speaker 1: and gas company. Once you are a man of God
- 41:50Speaker 1: who intends to last, there must be an expression. I
- 41:57Speaker 1: used to be in Zaria before I moved to a
- 41:59Speaker 1: Budja and up until now, every time I visit our
- 42:03Speaker 1: expression there, once they know I'm around, you will find
- 42:08Speaker 1: it's literally like a crusade without calling anybody. You see
- 42:13Speaker 1: one thing I've learned with Muslims, if it's welfare, they
- 42:15Speaker 1: will stop there from coming. They can stop crusades. But
- 42:20Speaker 1: once you say food medicals with Jesus Joy, even if
- 42:24Speaker 1: it's inside the baptistry, they will enter there waits.
- 42:27Speaker 3: Most of us have.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Been wasting an opportunity for a harvest because we are
- 42:33Speaker 1: unconcerned about the things that happen in society. That theology
- 42:37Speaker 1: is not accurate. We are not of the world, I agree,
- 42:42Speaker 1: but we are in the world. We cannot be detached
- 42:47Speaker 1: from the activities that happen within our space. I'm praying
- 42:51Speaker 1: in the name of Jesus Christ, that for a man
- 42:53Speaker 1: of God, for a woman of God, for a pastor who.
- 42:56Speaker 3: Has come here.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Whilst you are hearing me, the Holy Spirit will tell
- 42:59Speaker 1: you this is the missing link. This is why your
- 43:01Speaker 1: church has been in a place for ten years and
- 43:04Speaker 1: the community you have never seen. The chief of that community.
- 43:08Speaker 1: You have never greeted the traditional head within that community.
- 43:12Speaker 1: He does know you. Yet you have so much property there.
- 43:15Speaker 1: The young boys in that community cannot defend the land.
- 43:18Speaker 3: They do know the order.
- 43:20Speaker 1: They have never participated in anything. Kingdom, You've never called
- 43:24Speaker 1: them for anything. You will know the relevance of community
- 43:30Speaker 1: when there is a crisis. Well, with all due respect,
- 43:34Speaker 1: most of you here in the world, you've not really
- 43:36Speaker 1: seen a serious crisis, you see, but when you are
- 43:40Speaker 1: in a place where at any point they can bund
- 43:42Speaker 1: things here and there there are people who say, I
- 43:45Speaker 1: am a Muslim, bought minorse this, This was the person
- 43:48Speaker 1: feeding our wives, our husbands. George is squire. This is
- 43:58Speaker 1: Butstard's conference. Zoe. I want to believe the Holy Spirit
- 44:02Speaker 1: is speaking to our hearts. I love us all this
- 44:06Speaker 1: it is because that's the way we translated to improve
- 44:10Speaker 1: Our people are well together. So the Great Commission I
- 44:15Speaker 1: said three things. This is the first thing now to
- 44:18Speaker 1: understand God's program. That God's program, if it must be
- 44:22Speaker 1: done well, it must capture within our experience and our
- 44:26Speaker 1: mission statements and our church activities.
- 44:30Speaker 3: Evangelism.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Let me submit to you, with all due respect, there
- 44:33Speaker 1: are churches that cannot remember the last time they made
- 44:36Speaker 1: an aut call. And I don't mean to insult us.
- 44:40Speaker 3: It is a terrible thing.
- 44:41Speaker 1: You cannot finish preaching and consistently and just say well,
- 44:46Speaker 1: if the salmon taught you you are always free to
- 44:48Speaker 1: give you a life to Jesus. No, that's not the
- 44:50Speaker 1: model that was handed over. She desires that all men
- 44:55Speaker 1: be saved and to come onto the knowledge of the truth. World, evangelization,
- 45:02Speaker 1: God's program for the unbelieving world, discipleship that leads to
- 45:06Speaker 1: transformation by the sound communication of doctrine, God's program for
- 45:11Speaker 1: helping the Saints attain maturity, and then societal or territorial transformation,
- 45:17Speaker 1: God's program for society. You believe that, say amen, I'm
- 45:21Speaker 1: not going to talk much about discipleship. This was the
- 45:25Speaker 1: second aspect that I wanted to talk quickly, building men.
- 45:30Speaker 3: The Bible says that he led.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Captivity captive, and he gave gifts onto men, and that
- 45:36Speaker 1: he gave those gifts some apostles, some prophets, some pastors, evangelist,
- 45:43Speaker 1: some pastors, some teachers, and the Bible says he gave
- 45:46Speaker 1: that for the maturing perfecting of the saints, that the
- 45:52Speaker 1: saints will do the work of the ministry. Please look
- 45:54Speaker 1: at me, every man and woman of God. Here I
- 45:58Speaker 1: want you to know that the business of ministry is
- 46:01Speaker 1: the business of building men. The business of ministry beyond
- 46:06Speaker 1: physical buildings, beyond registering ministries and organizations in corporate Affairs Commission.
- 46:14Speaker 1: The ministry that we are called into is the ministry
- 46:19Speaker 1: of building men. If you are not building men, if
- 46:25Speaker 1: you build structures more than you build men, you are failing.
- 46:31Speaker 1: If you build structures more than you build men, you
- 46:35Speaker 1: are failing. No matter the ministry expansion, no matter the
- 46:42Speaker 1: network of churches globally, the real index is the kind
- 46:47Speaker 1: and the quality of men that you are building. Jesus said,
- 46:52Speaker 1: I will build my church. He was speaking of these
- 46:55Speaker 1: living stones men. And there is a formula for building men.
- 47:00Speaker 1: And praying again that God will grant us intelligence to
- 47:04Speaker 1: come up with programs that build men. And you know
- 47:07Speaker 1: that building men is across various there are The way
- 47:12Speaker 1: you build members is different from the way you build leaders.
- 47:17Speaker 3: Are we together now?
- 47:18Speaker 1: Yes? The Bible says strong meat belongs to them who
- 47:22Speaker 1: by reason of yous have learned to exercise their senses
- 47:26Speaker 1: onto godliness. Let me tell you the truth. There are
- 47:28Speaker 1: certain things you should not teach new believers, you will
- 47:32Speaker 1: destroy them. An example, prosperity, The first salmon a young
- 47:36Speaker 1: believer should hear is not prosperity. You teach a young
- 47:39Speaker 1: believer a somemon on prosperity, you have destroyed him. He
- 47:43Speaker 1: has not learned death to the flesh. He's not learned character,
- 47:46Speaker 1: he's not learned how to live a surrender life. And
- 47:49Speaker 1: now you open him up to you have only multiplied
- 47:53Speaker 1: loss upon that person. You will destroy that believer. It
- 47:56Speaker 1: is line upon line, precept upon precept.
- 47:59Speaker 3: Here in to there a little. There must be a formula.
- 48:02Speaker 1: We must go back and remodel our formula for buil
- 48:06Speaker 1: didn't believers. There are things a believer most here before
- 48:10Speaker 1: he hears about money. There are things a believer most
- 48:13Speaker 1: year before he hears about influence. Every topic is not
- 48:18Speaker 1: relevant at every level. Line up on line, Jesus being
- 48:22Speaker 1: the chief corner stone.
- 48:25Speaker 4: Show us the ancihanpa, Will you lead us along eternal highway?
- 48:34Speaker 4: We want to fall all the way self cheesus, we
- 48:39Speaker 4: want to end yours.
- 48:43Speaker 3: Show us the shapa.
- 48:47Speaker 1: Will you lead us along e turn on highway?
- 48:52Speaker 4: We want to fall all the food steps of cheesus.
- 48:57Speaker 1: We want to end your.
- 49:01Speaker 3: Let me tell you something God revealed to me.
- 49:04Speaker 1: No amount of publicity will bring people more than God
- 49:09Speaker 1: himself recommending them to a house he knows they will
- 49:13Speaker 1: be trained. Thank God for billboards, Thank God for Facebook,
- 49:20Speaker 1: but there is a mystery that no technology can reproduce
- 49:24Speaker 1: as far as bringing men and the Lord added daily daily.
- 49:31Speaker 1: If you are not willing to save sin us, it
- 49:34Speaker 1: is a useless prayer to pray for increase to your church.
- 49:38Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but it's the truth. If you are not
- 49:41Speaker 1: willing to pay the price, let me tell you the truth.
- 49:45Speaker 1: By God's grace. I respect everyone here, but I'm not
- 49:48Speaker 1: sure there's anyone here who is up two hundred years.
- 49:51Speaker 3: Men of God, this call is a call to sacrifice.
- 49:55Speaker 1: Let's not allow these geomantality deceivers. Thank God for honor,
- 50:01Speaker 1: but please let's drop it aside and serve God's people sincerely.
- 50:06Speaker 3: A man of God who is a lazy person.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Should retire from ministry because ministry is about diligence. Most
- 50:15Speaker 1: people desire increase. They admire what God is doing in
- 50:19Speaker 1: the life of great ministries, but they do not have
- 50:22Speaker 1: an understanding of the kind of labor that goes in
- 50:25Speaker 1: to be trusted with men.
- 50:28Speaker 3: Allelujah. It's a sacrifice.
- 50:32Speaker 1: You will never be an effective priest at your convenience. No,
- 50:40Speaker 1: we were not trained that way. Those who train those
- 50:43Speaker 1: labored onto death. We saw from them diligence. And I
- 50:49Speaker 1: speak with all your respect to those of my generation.
- 50:52Speaker 1: There no decaway that geo office mentality and get to work.
- 50:58Speaker 3: There are souls to say. If you don't have a
- 51:00Speaker 3: salmon to preach, go and.
- 51:02Speaker 1: Sit in your study room and be designing a Bible
- 51:05Speaker 1: study manual to mentor your people. You can't say there
- 51:09Speaker 1: is nothing to do. Honestly, anyone in ministry who only
- 51:13Speaker 1: does Sunday to Sunday is a lazy person.
- 51:15Speaker 3: Take that from me.
- 51:17Speaker 1: There has to be someone to be following up during
- 51:20Speaker 1: the week. You know how long it takes to prepare
- 51:22Speaker 1: a salmon that is balanced and theologically sound, not to
- 51:27Speaker 1: straggle something while they're taking offering. And then you come
- 51:30Speaker 1: up and say, don't worry, we need to sit down,
- 51:33Speaker 1: don't teach people's opinions, get the world study to show
- 51:37Speaker 1: yourself approved onto God. A workman that needed not to
- 51:42Speaker 1: be a shame. There is a relationship between shame and laziness.
- 51:50Speaker 3: Alle Lujah. Let's encourage our worshippers.
- 51:54Speaker 1: Don't write songs that are meaningless, songs that just came
- 51:57Speaker 1: as a result of copying all kinds of things. No,
- 52:01Speaker 1: the intelligence that is in your song is where the
- 52:05Speaker 1: edification comes from. It's good to sing, but what is
- 52:10Speaker 1: the song saying? Is it helping someone know God? Are
- 52:14Speaker 1: we together? Let's minimize some of these songs that matchet.
- 52:17Speaker 3: Ignorance prays the name of the Lord.
- 52:27Speaker 1: Please someone who has faith self time in Jesus' name,
- 52:31Speaker 1: I receive grace to feed God's people. I receive grace
- 52:37Speaker 1: to feed God's people. You're a man of God. Please
- 52:41Speaker 1: go back, woman and sit down. I don't condemn you.
- 52:43Speaker 1: There are concordances, there are lexicons to buy.
- 52:47Speaker 3: Are we together?
- 52:48Speaker 1: There are manuals, people who have already labored for you.
- 52:51Speaker 1: For God's sake, Let's sit down and get truth and
- 52:54Speaker 1: feed God's people. It is at this point that with
- 52:58Speaker 1: all due respects, expect the Catholics and the Anglicans, the
- 53:04Speaker 1: pedrecostus thank God. I mean with thank God for the
- 53:06Speaker 1: ministery of the Holy Spirit. But you see, I was
- 53:09Speaker 1: raised by the Anglican and there was no room for
- 53:13Speaker 1: laziness the structure. If anyone here has passed through the
- 53:17Speaker 1: Anglican communion, No, you don't stand and preach opinions.
- 53:22Speaker 3: The topic is already known, so you wouldn't come and
- 53:24Speaker 3: preach none.
- 53:24Speaker 1: Says with sufficient versus well researched. Yes, sir, you would
- 53:35Speaker 1: not even serve if you could not recite your apostle's creed.
- 53:40Speaker 1: You see that. Let's be the name of the Lord.
- 53:51Speaker 1: So we must obtain grace to build God's people. Your
- 53:55Speaker 1: salmons should come out of your desire to see God's people,
- 54:00Speaker 1: but your sermons will be an overflow of your transformation.
- 54:05Speaker 1: You cannot feed God's people beyond your level of spiritual transformation.
- 54:09Speaker 1: Let me repeat that again, you cannot feed God's people
- 54:13Speaker 1: beyond your level of spiritual transformation.
- 54:15Speaker 3: And let me make an honest admission to you.
- 54:17Speaker 1: There are certain things that your people need that you
- 54:21Speaker 1: don't have the grace to give them. You must have
- 54:23Speaker 1: the honest, shamemedness to outsource the graces that can help them,
- 54:28Speaker 1: graces that are vettered across the lines of godliness and character.
- 54:32Speaker 1: And don't let your people die because of ego. If
- 54:36Speaker 1: you don't have the grace. There are people within the body.
- 54:40Speaker 1: It's God helping us. I have to give us the
- 54:45Speaker 1: last area and then will stop less it be the
- 54:50Speaker 1: name of the Lord. My final thoughts with us as
- 54:59Speaker 1: a contribute to this conference is I want to identify
- 55:04Speaker 1: a few issues within the Body of Christ that I
- 55:07Speaker 1: believe as a recommendation that God is going to help us.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Part of my call and my mandate is to help
- 55:15Speaker 1: bring love, unity and balance within the body. You never
- 55:20Speaker 1: find me insulting people, tearing down people tearing down another
- 55:27Speaker 1: person's ministry. That is not It has never worked, it
- 55:31Speaker 1: won't work, allelujah. But the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ,
- 55:39Speaker 1: from his inception has never been without challenges. Please, I
- 55:43Speaker 1: wanted to listen carefully. Having challenges across the body is
- 55:47Speaker 1: not necessarily a proof of backsliding. In most cases, it's
- 55:51Speaker 1: not even a demonic issue. It's just the reality that
- 55:53Speaker 1: comes with the human nature. And if you understand leadership,
- 55:57Speaker 1: you know that conflict and everything around it is part
- 56:01Speaker 1: of growth. When the Church.
- 56:04Speaker 3: Began to grow, there were issues.
- 56:06Speaker 1: Is that not so? In your Bible?
- 56:07Speaker 3: There were issues you find that in Act chapter six.
- 56:11Speaker 1: The first issue we see that the church had to
- 56:13Speaker 1: deal with was welfare issue. Some people felt like they
- 56:16Speaker 1: were being neglected in the daily sharing and the report.
- 56:20Speaker 1: It first started as a rumor, and then it got
- 56:22Speaker 1: to the apostles, and the apostle said, no, we have
- 56:25Speaker 1: a mandate and we have a jurisdiction to stay in.
- 56:28Speaker 1: And this is a lesson for someone. The more growth comes,
- 56:32Speaker 1: the easier for you to move away from the ministry
- 56:35Speaker 1: and get into administrative duties. And administrative duties are wonderful,
- 56:40Speaker 1: but if you do not outsource systems that keep you focused,
- 56:44Speaker 1: you will stop being a man of God and become
- 56:46Speaker 1: an excellent administrator. There are people the worst thing that
- 56:53Speaker 1: happened to you is that you grew in ministry that
- 56:57Speaker 1: in itself seemed like an attack, because you left the
- 57:01Speaker 1: ministry of the world and prayer and got to serving tables.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Tables should be served, but he said, no, select some
- 57:08Speaker 1: among yourself, but we will give ourselves continually as chapter
- 57:13Speaker 1: six hundreds four to prayer and the ministry of the world.
- 57:17Speaker 1: And how many of you know that among those who
- 57:19Speaker 1: were selected to save tables, other people rose up from there,
- 57:24Speaker 1: including the person that the Bible identifies as an evangelist.
- 57:28Speaker 1: They were ordained to save tables, but eventually at least two.
- 57:32Speaker 3: Of them became mighty men.
- 57:34Speaker 1: Philip was one of them, Stephen was another. Hallelujah. But
- 57:41Speaker 1: let's talk about two things or three things as I
- 57:44Speaker 1: wrap up. There are many challenges in the Body of Christ,
- 57:49Speaker 1: and there's almost no end if we have to dissect
- 57:52Speaker 1: them one by one, because most of those challenges are subjective.
- 57:56Speaker 3: But I will talk about the issues that concern everybody.
- 57:58Speaker 3: Number one and.
- 58:02Speaker 1: The peer and Chairman Legos chapter graciously mentioned one of them.
- 58:06Speaker 1: I think that as the Body of Christ, we must
- 58:11Speaker 1: be able to come up with a statement of faith.
- 58:15Speaker 1: At what point are you called a Christian? What are
- 58:21Speaker 1: the parameters that define in Nigerian Christian If we do
- 58:26Speaker 1: not answer this question with all due respect in the
- 58:31Speaker 1: next five ten years, they will ship in a lot
- 58:34Speaker 1: of things into this nation that will pollute the authenticity
- 58:38Speaker 1: of the faith life. Once there is no definition, anything
- 58:44Speaker 1: is permissing. There must be a statement of faith. What
- 58:51Speaker 1: do I have to believe to be a Christian? I
- 58:57Speaker 1: feel very sad and I think the PFEN you know,
- 59:04Speaker 1: Chairman also mentioned this about Dr Ottterbill, you know, bringing
- 59:09Speaker 1: that as an observation. Because the faith work is largely personal,
- 59:16Speaker 1: and because of the person of the Holy Spirit and
- 59:19Speaker 1: the unique expression of the way he trains us, we
- 59:23Speaker 1: will have different templates. As far as I work with
- 59:26Speaker 1: God is concern, and that is all right. But the
- 59:29Speaker 1: danger there is that if it is not balanced by
- 59:32Speaker 1: the jurisdiction of the world, we can delve into anything
- 59:37Speaker 1: in the name of the Spirit leads. So I can
- 59:41Speaker 1: walk down right now and slap past the God Man
- 59:45Speaker 1: and say, it was an instruction the Holy Ghost gave me.
- 59:48Speaker 3: Are we together? I'm not being sarcastic now.
- 59:50Speaker 1: It is difficult to say I'm wrong, because one, you
- 59:53Speaker 1: are not the Holy Ghost.
- 59:54Speaker 3: Too, you are not me, and he says, spiritual thing.
- 59:58Speaker 1: But later, after five year, I will find out it
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: was a demand that spoke to me and quietly repent.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: But while I'm doing that, I have mentored orthers across
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: that error, so that slapping will now become a doctrine.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Are we learning now? One of the ways error spreads
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: is because it is spiritualized. Once error is spiritualized, it
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: is difficult to tame it because the basis for taming
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: it will look like being your being a what's the
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: world now?
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: Are we together now?
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: No matter your work with God, the template on how
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: the spirit of God works with people will always be
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: consistent with the character of Scripture. We are not the
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: first to receive all kinds of instructions, and I tell
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: you God can give sometimes very challenging instructions.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: Are we together now? As a man of God?
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: God has given me instruction that cannot be a doctrine.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Now there are three layers of learning spiritually. Number one
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: is called a historic learning historic a geological learning. The
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: second kind of learning is called a doctrinal learning. The
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: third kind is called personalized dealings. Well, because of your
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: work with God and the unique expression of God's grace,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: he will lead you to a pathway that is only
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: for you. You are never supposed to replicate that unique dealing,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: if not to destroy another believer. I'll give you an instance.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: God may check my heart and say to it that
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: if it gives me many houses and many cars, because
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: of my level of alignmental submission, it may lead me
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: into partition. And because of that, in order to manage
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: that tendency of the flesh in me, he will give
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: me a unique instruction. Never have more than three houses,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: never have more than three cars. And once I work
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: in keeping with that instruction, I will flourish in ministry.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: So when you do an interview for me and say
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: what is the secret of your success, I will tell
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: you I do not have more than three cars and
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: three houses. If you now men taught that personalized dealing,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: maybe you assignment requires ten houses. You are in trouble already.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: Are we together now? Because our personalized dealings with God
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: produced results in our lives, chances are excellent that as
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: we men taught those who are around us, we also
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: bring our unique dealings and turn it into a doctrine
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: because of the result that it produced.
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: This is one of the causes of error in the body.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: So God can tell someone slab the person on the
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: wheelchair three times a define instruction one, two, three, and
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: the person jumps up. The young man who watched you
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: now will organize it cusaine and bring a son of
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: a police officer who is on a wheelchair and slap
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: him three times.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: The guy will not get up, and the boy will
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: go to jail.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: And we blame the Holy ghost.
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: It is not the Holy spirit.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Is that we do not know the difference between God's
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: unique dealing to you and what is doctrine? Now? Allelujah,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: Never build ministry out of personal visionary experiences, no matter
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: how spectacular, you will be destroying the ministry we're rapping up?
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Are we together? Now?
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: I've heard by the messes.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: Of God, I am one who has been graced to
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: live in the reality of angelic encounters, encounters.
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: Of the Holy Spirit.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: There are encounters that if I bring us my personal experience,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: it would destroy.
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: Many people in the Body of Christ.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Not because it is erroneous, but the nature, the instructions,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: the things that God gave, the kinds of instructions that
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: came from that encounter. It was from my personal edification,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: and it was not because it worked for me does
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: not mean I automatically turn it into a doctrine. And
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: sometimes the error comes. Sincerely, it's just people telling you
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: their story how it worked for them. Not every story
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: is a testimony. There are some you keep to yourself.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: We have to pray your grace, your grace. Have nothing
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: we helt you.
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: Your grace. Your grace shines on me. It's your grace,
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: your grace.
- 1:05:02Speaker 6: I'm not say thout you pray you agree, Allelujah.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: I may not have the time to discuss it, but
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: please write it down. Number one, you need a statement
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: of faith that guides your life. How far is far
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: in your work with God? How far is far? As
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: far as the church you are leading is concern. All
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: things are lawful, but not all things are expedient by
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: the message of God. I have the privilege of preaching
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: across several places, several denominations, and as a principle, I
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: learn to adapt to whatever is the modus of randy
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: of any church that I find. But I have my
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: personal convictions. I don't preach everywhere because I agree with
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: everything there. I have my reservations. However, it is not
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: enough reason for differences. But as far as mentoring and
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: building those under your care concern, you have to define
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: what being a spiritual person is. Define the parameters for
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: true spirituality. Number two. The second challenge that I wish
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: I had the time to talk about was the fact
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: that many people are in ministry who have been wounded
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: and did not stay to be healed, and they got
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: into ministry. As simple as this sounds, it is dangerous
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: to carry the mantle of priesthood when you are not healed.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: A scar is proved that a wound was once there
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: but is now healed. And if that sca is not
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: If that wound is not healed, God does not send
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: you most of the envying, the jealousy, the bad, biting,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: and lots of things that you see happening across the
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: body of Christ. The root of it is that people
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: have pains that came from their background, that they did
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: not stay with the spirit to be healed from.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: Then their spirituallynes that pain.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Are we together now growing up in life and ministry.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: I really did not know that emotional wounds were real.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: I just focused on physical wounds. But now as God
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: has helped me to grow, I have seen that emotional
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: wounds can be like diabetes. It can stay there for years.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: There are people carrying all kinds of pain, their angers.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: What send them to go and pray? And first, the
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: such for their non was not to bless people. It
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: was from a standpoint of competition. Let me tell you this,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: only wounded people wound orders. When you are healed. You
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: don't wound orders when you readjoy over the pain of
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: another man and not that person's ministry. When you are
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: happy when you see people going down, no matter how
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: you spiritualize it, it is because there is an injury.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Psychologists are wise enough, and most of us have churches
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: full of intelligent people. They can look at you as
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: a pastor and know that this salmon is not the
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. This salmon came from your background. It came
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: from your pain. You are trying to manage your frustrations. Listen, listen, listen.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: I really I have to honor the time and stop,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: and then all of you are here. But I want
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: you to please get this. You need to go and
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: stay with the Holy Spirit and say, heal me. Oh God,
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: I don't know what injury. Joseph. Your brothers threw you
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: in the kit. You are not even aware that you
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: are wounded already. Make sure you are healed before you
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: see them. It took a healed Joseph to ignore the
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: wickedness of his brothers. It took a healed Joseph to
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: not punish fortifi. If I am Joseph, as I'm coming
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: out as a prime minister, who is the first person
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: you call? But if I where are you? You and
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: the wife get back into that prison.
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: Let me tell you this. Let me tell you this.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: Most of us came from Polygamo's families. You did not
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: realize the effect. Most of us probably did not go
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: to school, Elie. Most of our parents made nasty comments,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: and you did not know that he was wound upon wound.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: They called you a failure. They said you will never
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: amount to anything. Just because you are old doesn't mean
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: you are healed. You can be old in age still
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: carrying the wound of childhood. So you don't know why
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: you are an angry man of God. The moment someone
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: says this your shoe, is it original or fake? That
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: can become a two year wark. He was just throwing
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: a joke, but the joke taughts an injury. Listen carefully, well,
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: Rappin or boy, you need to hear this. If we
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: want to see unity, there is a revelation that brings unity.
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: Are we together.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Healed? There are preachers that are not healed. That is
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: the reason why there is fight for membership. There are
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: preachers that are not healed. Is the reason why we
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: disor no elderly people.
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: Are we together now?
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: Most of the things we do, from.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: A fake life, to selling lives on the internet, to
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: trying to use dressing to show that faith is working.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: All of those things are proof of a wound that
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: I'm telling you this. When a young man gets into
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: ministry and in one year his dream is just to
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: buy a private jet have the largest charge, he may
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: not be wrong, but a young man has been wounded.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: He does not even know what is motivating this. It's
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: not always demons. Demons are surprised themselves because what they
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: did and what they did not do wereout blaming them.
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: We're going to pray. You've been patient. Listen.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Most of you ask your congregations for extra time. Let
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: me ask you for extract time. Now we're going to pray.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Listen to me, please hear me. What do you think
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: will become of a general overseer's wife who was wounded
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: by her stepmother, Call the bad lady, a prostitute, called whatever.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: Now she's married, man of God, she's in a church.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: Most likely she will look at every other woman's dressing.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: She's not a bad woman, She's only a wounded woman.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: Who is this woman always dressing? Rich Marca for me,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: all these useless wars in church. I am telling you
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: the chure is not just reconciliation. The cure is healing.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: Because I have a mindset that if I celebrate first
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: of God Man and I celebrate the work he's doing,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: what if I lose my relevance that orientation came as
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: a result of a wound. Aircrafts don't crash in the
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: air because there is space for every aircraft, no matter
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: how big it is. Some of you right here, you
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: are in this place. I know we are pasted us.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: Let God use me for one minute to heal someone
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: before we wrap up.
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: There are some of you who cannot see yourself.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: You are here now, but you cannot look eyeborn to
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: eyeborn because you are angry. And most of those who
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: have that anger don't have growth. So what you're fighting
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: about is not truly it's unnecessary. You are looking for
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: something to blame, and if there's nobody else to blame,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: your wife becomes a victim. Listen to me, Men of God.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: We have lost valuable people in our churches because we've
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: not been able to tame our anger, tame our jealousy.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Some of you are jealous. Even with your children and
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: your sons and daughters three who you raise, you still
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: fights them. It's not because you want them to fail.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: It's because you want to succeed alone, and that succeeding
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: alone came because you did not take first position. You
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: watch awards given to people, and there is still the
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: craving of a primary school child craging within, an individual
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: still wanting to be celebrated alone. Let me teach you something.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: Let's let's do a little consult and say this is
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: not a man of God. Now. The highest psychological need
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: of any man, including you looking at me, is the
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: need to feel loved, the need to feel valued, and
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: the need to feel appreciated. Say aftime, he loved, say valued,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: Say appreciated one more time, say loved, valued, appreciated. Anybody,
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: including your spouse, who violates that law becomes your enemy.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: I'll tell you where your words are coming from, because
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: someone bruised your ego knowingly or knowingly. You stepped into
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: a meeting and the person three realizes your apostleship, and
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: you walked out of that meeting, marking his face, and
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: he became your enemy forever. Tonight be healed. Healed. You
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: have been wounding your congregations. Tell them you're shouting at
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: them because they went left.
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: They moved right, you still shouted. It's not the direction it's.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: You, PF and I'm sorry, or you invited me. I'm sorry,
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry sorry.
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: Now please, everybody's done. Everybody's done.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: I'm going to give you the next five minutes. I
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: like you to walk to everybody you can find and
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: just tell them. I bless you and I honor you.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Go ahead, God bless you. Hold the person, whether you
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: know the person or not. I bless you, and I
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: honor you. We fought during the crusade, but we're still Christians.
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: God bless you. God bless you.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: God bless you, God bless you. We are neighbors, but
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: I've never entered you chance to see what God is doing.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: Please appreciate someone. I honor you. You may have party members,
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: but I appreciate you. You may have two members, but
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: I appreciate you. Take a minute. You soon return to
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: your seat. Make sure you celebrate them. I don't care
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: how many members you have. I know you are still learning.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: We may not be at the same level of grace,
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: but just for you to know that we are stronger together,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: stronger together, stronger together, stronger together. You are the one
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: that we prey, You are the one we.
- 1:17:02Speaker 7: So please return back to your seats, rejoicing.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: We're out of time. Return back to your seats. We're
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: about to pray. Return back to your seat. I know
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: you are a prophet. I respect you as a prophet.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: I know you are an apostle. I respect you as
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: an apostle. I don't downplay your stay. Listen.
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: Let me tell you this.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: When you derive joy in demeaning the relevance of another
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: man of God, it does not make you great. Fathers. Please,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: we're rapping up. We're rapping up. Let me have your attention. Please.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: God wants to tell us something serious. Now listen, Please, fathers,
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: you are greatly honored, but respect the songs. They have
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: an advantage of time and can learn experience from you.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: Every father has shown us what he can become, but
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: we do not yet know what the sons will become. Eli,
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: you play the role in the life of sam Well,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: but don't demean that young boy. That is the prophet
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: who will ordain soul. That is the prophet who will
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: ordain David. Sons. Respect fathers. It doesn't matter what they preach.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: It doesn't matter how many times you travel to the
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: spirit and come back. You are still a son. If
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: a baby takes ten teens of breast milk, the baby
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: does not become an adult. The baby becomes a healthy baby. Allelujah.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Let me speak especially to younger people in ministry. Don't
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: follow this blind and foolish campaign of pointing fingers against fathers.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: I tell you, the more I grow in ministry, the
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: more I'm silent. When you see father's quiet. Find out
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: why young people have seen without wisdom. When a father
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: says and keeps quiet, keep quiet as a young man
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: to you'll be wiser. I way together, contemporaries, let's respect ourselves. Now.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: If you find somebody's ministry.
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: People are not idiots. They're know truth when they see it.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: And the moment you begin to find people, you'll make
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: you show your insecurity. It comes on display because those
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: who are helped by God walk ever conscious of His
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: messy over their lives. So I will end my session
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: by saying this. Apostle John, speaking by the spirit, he
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: wrote to three groups of people. I write to you fathers,
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: I write to you young men. I write to you children.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: No matter the category of Asian experience in ministry, there
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: is something written to you, a letter from God. What
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: God is telling the fathers. It's not what he's telling
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: the young men. Now, the fathers have wisdom and experience,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: The young men have strength. The children have maliability of heart.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: You can make them become anything. Hold hands with someone
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: about the rabble. Lord makers instruments of your peace. Where
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: there is hate trend, let your love.
- 1:20:53Speaker 8: Your mad truments, all surpride and preschiness.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: Chay when we are your instrumn. Please look at me,
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: man of God. If your principles and practices are wrong,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: I don't condemn you or change if you are being mentored.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: When I say unity, I don't mean empressing everything, because
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: there are things in the Body of Christ that are
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: absolute nonsense. Don't mistaken what I'm saying if it is
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: not Jesus crucified, if it is not Jesus glorified, if
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: it is not Jesus revealed. So when we talk of
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: coming together, we are not saying don't carry Rachel. Leave
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: the idols of your father's house. There is a better
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: covenant with God. There are some of us. He was
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: mentorship that led you into all kinds of extra biblical practices.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: While we do not condemn you, there is room for repentance. Change.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: Now use this conference to change. Some of you were
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: taught by wrong friends manipulative ways to raise money for church.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: There are veterans with understanding who can help you on
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: how to structure church finances with integrity. Find them, Go
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: and sit down under their meetings and learn. There are
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: some of us who have all kinds of character challenges.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: These are things you have been ignoring for a long time,
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: but it's telling on you. Pop can work on yourself
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: at every level. Growth is still possible. Are we together now?
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: So when I say this, the Bible says, to examine
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: ourselves whether we are still in the faith. Honestly, there
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: are people I love, but they cannot be my friends.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: I love them sincerely, but until I see the degree
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: of your yieldedness to and His purposes.
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: I love you from afar and I.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: Wish you well, but it will be a risk to
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: bring you into my space. Your emotional carelessness is not
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: healthy for friendship with me. Your level of in discipline
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: with anything at all. Say anything you want to say,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: do anything you want to do. Don't pinto people's house,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: collect their cass, collect you whatever. In the name of
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: prophetic instructions, I love you, but change. Don't harass any
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: member to collect money from them they didn't send you.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: If you are bankrupt, go to the one who sent
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: to us, saying what was the strategy for my feeding?
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: Are we together?
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: I have to say this. We cannot end a pastor's
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: conference without pointing this.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: The truth is that some of you have lost your honor.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: It said that like you leave because of character issues.
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: Your issue was not revelation.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: You lack character. Once you drop down from the pool kit,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: you are almost as if you're never given your life
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: to Christ. There are young people that cheerlessness started from
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: campus and there was no system to pay it. Some
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: of us are learning all kinds of rubbish. Lend me
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: all kinds of rubbish. It has to change anybody who
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: is coming to your church, plundering you or making you
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: stop wealthy people in your church, or all kinds of
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: character challenges. I don't condemn you, never will I We're
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: products of God's messy. But for God's sake, some of
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: you may need to take a break for a few
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: weeks and sit down with a seasoned man of God
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: and say, help me, I have anger, help me I
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: have lost Help me I have what again, jealousy, bitterness, envy,
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: ah unforgiveness over my dead body.
- 1:24:56Speaker 6: No, no, no, no no no.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: Repent now, repent. This is why we're holding hands. One
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: prayer and I leave this place. Show me messy your God.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: Don't pray for your congregation. Don't worry about your congregation.
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: Pray for yourself. Obtain messy. Work upon my heart. Someone, pray,
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: walk upon my heart. Give me long givty of impacting ministry.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: Let me be a person of love. Sen knowingly, send, knowingly,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: Send knowingly. Let me become a pul that to the
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: body noted destroyer. Someone, go ahead and pray. Repent for
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: the manipulations you may have cause to the members of
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: your church. Ask God to show you messy. The Lord
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: is nigh them that call upon you. Make a tye
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: before God. I'm ready to do ministry with integrity from today.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: Integrity from today given to prayer, given to the body
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: of the world, given to lef worrying to build God's people.
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: Go ahead and pray.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: Let it be from the depth of your heart.
