DUI Crash Sends Six to Hospital | Providence News
At 4 AM on a Saturday, a high-speed crash on Route 37 sent six people to the hospital after one driver slammed into another from behind. Five in the struck car suffered minor injuries except for one with a severe facial wound requiring surgery. The肇事 driver, 29-year-old Enrique Alvarado, allegedly tried to flee on foot but was stopped. Showing signs of impairment and refusing a breathalyzer, he’s now in custody on suspicion of DUI and also hospitalized.
