- 1:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I think that's a really accurate thing for sure.
- 1:06Speaker 2: But his mummy because he's the one you go to
- 1:08Speaker 2: when you want talk a great feelings.
- 1:09Speaker 1: And Jake is Daddy because he's never around. And you
- 1:18Speaker 1: guys listening are the baddies.
- 1:20Speaker 2: But baddies Ordie and I have We've done something. Yeah,
- 1:28Speaker 2: it's done something good.
- 1:29Speaker 1: I'm going to say big, done something big.
- 1:32Speaker 2: We started watching the show, A big show, a big show.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Some would say the show of the Summer's taking the
- 1:37Speaker 1: Internet by storm, and.
- 1:38Speaker 2: I say Show of the Summer because it's summer in
- 1:40Speaker 2: America and everything's about America and show.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Of the Winter. This is very American so far, we think.
- 1:47Speaker 1: So anyway, this is going to be thoughts and feelings
- 1:53Speaker 1: slash synopsis on the Summer.
- 1:55Speaker 2: I turned pretty Yes, so you started watching the Summer.
- 1:59Speaker 1: We've both just one episode.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Yeah, how do you feeling? What do you think?
- 2:04Speaker 1: I have a lot of feelings. There was there was
- 2:07Speaker 1: there was.
- 2:08Speaker 2: There was more than a handful of scenes that were
- 2:11Speaker 2: very difficult for me to watch because I was squirming
- 2:16Speaker 2: in my skin.
- 2:17Speaker 1: That's a good word.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Selection, Yes, difficult, cringe, But I will not lie to you.
- 2:26Speaker 2: When the first episode ended, I was like, I want
- 2:28Speaker 2: to watch more. I fucking loved it. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
- 2:32Speaker 2: It's honestly like it's an it's a pretty easy watch.
- 2:36Speaker 1: It gets probably pretty.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Uh, I guess, like intricate, intricate.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I can see it happening.
- 2:44Speaker 2: But I just there's like so many funny So characters
- 2:48Speaker 2: are Belly. The character is Belly, Isabella, her name is
- 2:52Speaker 2: but there's Belly, Conrad, Jeremiah, there brothers, and then Belly's
- 2:56Speaker 2: older brother is Steven. I haven't written down actually yes,
- 3:00Speaker 2: sweet and Steven, and then her mom's name is Laura,
- 3:02Speaker 2: and the and Jeremiah and Comrade's mum's name is I
- 3:06Speaker 2: don't know that.
- 3:06Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 3:07Speaker 2: I don't remember that one.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I've got Taylor's her friend, and Cam is the boy
- 3:10Speaker 1: she just started talking to her. Ah cool, Okay, So
- 3:14Speaker 1: I gotta say, like first opening scenes was pretty cool.
- 3:18Speaker 1: How she gives just a quick backstory of how just
- 3:20Speaker 1: she would always go to Comrade and Jeremiah's place, their
- 3:23Speaker 1: summer house because they're rich, right, so they have this
- 3:26Speaker 1: summer house. Must be nice.
- 3:27Speaker 2: It must be the summer house that they go to
- 3:30Speaker 2: every single summer without fail, and growing up together. They're
- 3:33Speaker 2: like siblings. They just spend the summer there, which is
- 3:35Speaker 2: sick belly. And like her family, they don't have money.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Her mum's an author, not a good one. But and
- 3:41Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, I was like, she mustn't be
- 3:43Speaker 1: a good one. She writing about like she doesn't even
- 3:46Speaker 1: know what Instagram get into some fucking fairy shit. Fuck me.
- 3:51Speaker 2: But I was I was like, Okay, cool, quick little backstory.
- 3:55Speaker 2: But then it goes straight into her with her friend
- 3:59Speaker 2: in her room and just the I don't know, like
- 4:06Speaker 2: the friend is all obviously maybe a bit mature for
- 4:10Speaker 2: her age, like they're fifteen or sixteen sixteen, they're fucking
- 4:15Speaker 2: sixteen fifteen nearly sixteen, and the friends obviously talking about
- 4:20Speaker 2: just like kissing boys all this stuff, blah blah blah
- 4:22Speaker 2: blah blah. And then Belly is she's still pretty innocent.
- 4:25Speaker 2: And then the interaction they have is like, so, but
- 4:29Speaker 2: Beth said to me, she goes, I would never act
- 4:32Speaker 2: like that.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Yeah. I was hoping she was gonna be like I
- 4:37Speaker 1: had this exact scenario.
- 4:39Speaker 2: She's like, so, you know how, she goes there, they
- 4:41Speaker 2: start wrestling, and I was like, I was like, what
- 4:44Speaker 2: the fuck? Bro, Beth goes hold on, she pauses, she
- 4:46Speaker 2: goes not once have I touched one of my friends
- 4:49Speaker 2: like that, but hey, maybe people do. Maybe Bes's missing out.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Maybe Beth is missing out. You never know, maybe she's
- 4:54Speaker 2: missing out. And it's just also like it was so sensual.
- 4:56Speaker 2: It was like they were in a relationship.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Imagine that we're having an argument, like imagine like put
- 5:02Speaker 1: your head, imagine you fucking imagine you said something to
- 5:06Speaker 1: me and I was like, oh you. I ran and
- 5:09Speaker 1: jumped on the lounge on top of you and.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Me. But I was just like, fucking, I'll look past everything,
- 5:16Speaker 2: you know, whatever, whatever, whatever. And then so they go
- 5:19Speaker 2: to the Yeah, they going to the summerhouse. I want
- 5:22Speaker 2: to ask first of all, Steven, he's older, he's driving,
- 5:25Speaker 2: looks younger. Yeah, he looks the youngest out of all
- 5:28Speaker 2: of them. Why the fuck is the mom in the
- 5:31Speaker 2: backseat of the car when they're driving to the summer house.
- 5:35Speaker 1: I think that's like that happens a lot where.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Like kids put up a tantrums or whatever America. Yeah,
- 5:41Speaker 2: and she's like, oh, could I go to the front seat.
- 5:43Speaker 1: So it's like, I don't know very family coded.
- 5:45Speaker 2: The one that my favorite character so far is Laura,
- 5:48Speaker 2: the mum, Belly's mom is my favorite character.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I like her too realist, she's the realist one. Yeah.
- 5:54Speaker 1: It ended with Belly going to the beach and making
- 5:57Speaker 1: them send me a little bit of a fool of
- 5:59Speaker 1: herself thro such a fullom wearing something sas yeah because
- 6:04Speaker 1: their friends disher up, and it was just like a
- 6:05Speaker 1: classic Bonnie that's what we call yeah. Yeah, yeah, I'm
- 6:09Speaker 1: like Cam at the end, Cam's a beasts. I thought
- 6:11Speaker 1: he was a genuine, really nice guy. And didn't drink,
- 6:15Speaker 1: was doing internships on the Watcher. Obviously he's going to
- 6:18Speaker 1: get cut out because he's boring.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, Obviously he's going to get cut
- 6:22Speaker 2: out because who wants to be with a green flag?
- 6:24Speaker 2: Like legitimately, bro Jeremiah's over here giving you attention.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:29Speaker 2: But another thing that I have and Conrad is not Conrad.
- 6:33Speaker 1: She's in love with That last scene was sus when
- 6:36Speaker 1: Conrad was drunk in the car and then he like
- 6:39Speaker 1: grabbed her hair. I was like, I was, I was
- 6:42Speaker 1: a little bit scared at that point. So I have
- 6:43Speaker 1: a fear.
- 6:44Speaker 2: So she's got a massive crush on Conrad, that feeling
- 6:48Speaker 2: there's like little things leaning towards him, having also a
- 6:54Speaker 2: bit of a crush on her.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Well, I think should we do some predictions? Yeah, well
- 6:59Speaker 1: I think what's gonna happen is Belly's gonna start seeing
- 7:02Speaker 1: Cam and then Conrad is gonna get jealous and then
- 7:04Speaker 1: realize that Belly is actually hot. It's hot now, but yeah.
- 7:08Speaker 2: The time, she's don't pret pretty nice?
- 7:09Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah, and then he's going to try and
- 7:11Speaker 1: like win her back and like stop putting an effort
- 7:13Speaker 1: because he's like mad depressed at the moment because he's
- 7:15Speaker 1: not playing footy or something.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Yeah, there's something wrong with him. That there's characters, there's
- 7:19Speaker 2: like a bit of development in each one of them.
- 7:22Speaker 2: And so Belly her thing is that she has just
- 7:25Speaker 2: turned pretty. She's just hitting puberty, like braces her off,
- 7:28Speaker 2: shutting her boobs. Now men are looking at her, people
- 7:31Speaker 2: are asking her to go to bonfires that she's never met.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Just out of the blue, this guy just like out
- 7:35Speaker 2: of petrol stations, like she want bonfire blah blah blah
- 7:37Speaker 2: blah blah. Also doesn't happen. Whatever it does. And so
- 7:44Speaker 2: that's her story. Arc is like she's like coming into
- 7:46Speaker 2: a womanhood. Yeah. Her older brother and Jeremiah are like
- 7:51Speaker 2: the same human Yeah. And then and they're both just
- 7:55Speaker 2: like happy, go lucky, go with the flow, just like Browie,
- 7:59Speaker 2: like bros. You know. Jeremiah is just always happy to
- 8:01Speaker 2: see Bellie, like hey, like tickling her and shit like
- 8:03Speaker 2: a big brother sus. Yeah. And then Conrad's just suit Okay,
- 8:09Speaker 2: what is the fuck is Conrad's problem? Bro?
- 8:11Speaker 1: He's jarring.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Seriously, he is the most miserable, fucking person I've ever witnessed.
- 8:18Speaker 1: This is really hard for me to watch because, as
- 8:22Speaker 1: everyone probably knows on this podcast, the hill I'm willing
- 8:25Speaker 1: to die on is don't ship where you Eat, and
- 8:29Speaker 1: she's about to. I think she's gonna ship with both
- 8:32Speaker 1: of these these dudes, Conrad and Jeremiah, and they've been
- 8:34Speaker 1: family friends.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Hey, I've been seeing stuff on TikTok about season three
- 8:38Speaker 2: and I don't want spoilers, but little bits in here,
- 8:40Speaker 2: and they're obviously I've been spoiled about what ends up happening,
- 8:43Speaker 2: but I don't know how they get there. So I'm
- 8:47Speaker 2: going to say, so far, pretty happy.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I'm happy. Well, the age old debate is team Conrad
- 8:53Speaker 1: or Jeremiah. So off first impressions, what are you feeling
- 8:58Speaker 1: first impressions.
- 8:59Speaker 2: I'm going with Jeremiah sa just because he's kind of
- 9:02Speaker 2: like happy.
- 9:04Speaker 1: It just seems nice. He just seems nice.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Conrad is, for lack of a better word, I can't.
- 9:12Speaker 1: You use it right. How old are they too?
- 9:17Speaker 2: Well, Conrad's going into college, so I'm going to say
- 9:21Speaker 2: eighteen eighteen, and then Jeremiah, I'm going to say is
- 9:25Speaker 2: only seventeen because he's younger, and Belly is fifteen turning sixteen.
- 9:30Speaker 2: She's I'm pretty sure they said fifteen ten and sixteen,
- 9:32Speaker 2: because she goes to this bonfire that they're out right
- 9:35Speaker 2: they don't invite her. Initially, the three boys, they go
- 9:37Speaker 2: to this bonfire, they don't invite her, and they're like, no, no,
- 9:38Speaker 2: you're staying home to watch a movie with the mumps.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Look good by the way.
- 9:41Speaker 2: She's like, and I was kind of thinking, fucking I
- 9:44Speaker 2: stay hover fuck these guys serious but obviously young girl.
- 9:48Speaker 2: And then she calls her friend and she's like, girl,
- 9:50Speaker 2: what do I do? Conrad's acting weird? She likes Conrade.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Conrad's acting weird.
- 9:54Speaker 1: What do I do?
- 9:55Speaker 2: And then she goes, just go to the bonfire. They
- 9:58Speaker 2: don't own the fucking beach, so you can go to
- 9:59Speaker 2: the bonfire. Actually, go check your bag. I left you
- 10:01Speaker 2: my secret weapon. She's just like this random big dress
- 10:04Speaker 2: and I was like, secret weapon, what are you doing
- 10:06Speaker 2: with that? I'm sorry, but you need to be revealing
- 10:09Speaker 2: at least a little bit for him to be a
- 10:10Speaker 2: scre It was a tight dress. And so she rocks
- 10:14Speaker 2: up to the bonfire. And here's where I was already
- 10:16Speaker 2: seeing holes in the plot. Jeremiah and that they drove
- 10:20Speaker 2: to the Bonfire Belly sneaks out without telling her parents
- 10:24Speaker 2: and she walks there. It was like what the fuck?
- 10:26Speaker 2: She rocks up just straight away because Joe's her brother,
- 10:29Speaker 2: sees her and he's like, you're going home? Fuck this,
- 10:31Speaker 2: and she's like no, no, no, no no. He's got this girl,
- 10:33Speaker 2: Shila on his arm. And then Jeremiah comes over and
- 10:35Speaker 2: he's like, just go hang out with Shaila, and he's like, yeah, whatever,
- 10:37Speaker 2: And she goes over and looks at Conrad kissing this
- 10:39Speaker 2: girl and she's like, the fuck's just straight up confident
- 10:44Speaker 2: the fuck, and and Conrad's going what this Girl's like,
- 10:47Speaker 2: who are you?
- 10:48Speaker 1: She goes, who are you? I was like, fucking she's
- 10:52Speaker 1: so jealous.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Yeah, to stand on at this place. And then oh
- 10:58Speaker 2: my god.
- 10:59Speaker 1: And so then she goes, well, oh me and Conrad.
- 11:01Speaker 2: This girl that was kissing Conrad, she goes, oh me
- 11:05Speaker 2: and Conrad met at a debutante ball, and not fucking
- 11:07Speaker 2: four hours ago was Conrad saying debutant balls are for
- 11:09Speaker 2: sheep and ship. And so she's like, I thought you
- 11:11Speaker 2: said debutant balls with his sheep, and Conrade just looks
- 11:14Speaker 2: at this girl like, fuck belly, this bitch. He looks
- 11:18Speaker 2: at the girls kissing, like sorry about her. It's like, Billy,
- 11:21Speaker 2: come on, like I'm sorry, but he doesn't like you
- 11:25Speaker 2: read the room.
- 11:27Speaker 1: It's hilarious and Melamiah.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Jeremiah skips over Belly. I'm so happy your ears. The
- 11:35Speaker 2: girl's over there. Jeremiah is kind of cute, to be fair. Yeah,
- 11:38Speaker 2: and then I think he's the best looking. I do
- 11:39Speaker 2: think he's the best looking also.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Because he's happy.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Joy is contagious, Stephen is her brother whatever, Conrad's miserable, bro.
- 11:47Speaker 1: But then I don't know, she goes over.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Cam comes and sits over some random she knows from
- 11:51Speaker 2: like year seven and the craziest thing, right, so please come.
- 11:56Speaker 1: There's a there's a fight. Police come. I don't know.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Belly gets involved, and then they all leave.
- 12:02Speaker 2: They go. Jeremi is in the car, comrades in the
- 12:04Speaker 2: back seat. Steven's somewhere with Shaylight's missus, and so Belly's
- 12:08Speaker 2: over there and Cam's there. This new guy's a beast
- 12:11Speaker 2: and they're like, okay. Belly get in the car and
- 12:13Speaker 2: she goes on, no, Cam can drive me home. He's like, yeah, yeah, no,
- 12:15Speaker 2: I can drive my I'm sure yeah. And then Jeremiah
- 12:17Speaker 2: was like, nah, no, you're not driving out some random guy.
- 12:20Speaker 2: I was actually kind of like fat. Yeah, I was like,
- 12:22Speaker 2: fucking oath comrades in the back miserable. He's just like
- 12:26Speaker 2: obviously miserable, and oh man, she just is like she
- 12:32Speaker 2: just says, so what did she Basically she just like
- 12:35Speaker 2: has a little monologue moment where she's talking in her head,
- 12:37Speaker 2: but she's like narrating. She goes like would she say
- 12:40Speaker 2: she says something, this could be my moment.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Yeah. She just looks at Cam and kisses him. And
- 12:45Speaker 1: I was like canon to Jeremiah and Conrad just like
- 12:50Speaker 1: staring at him.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, and no.
- 12:52Speaker 1: One would do this.
- 12:53Speaker 2: And also just before it, Cam is like asking her
- 12:56Speaker 2: on a date in the sustiest way of do you
- 12:58Speaker 2: want to come watch me do whale watching at my job?
- 13:01Speaker 2: Interurning in a while watching boat. I was just wondering if
- 13:03Speaker 2: you'd want to come. We leave at dawn. Fucking looks
- 13:06Speaker 2: to leave at dawn, and then.
- 13:08Speaker 1: It ends they go back to the house and then
- 13:11Speaker 1: for some reason, Conrad's still depressed. He didn't go to sleep,
- 13:14Speaker 1: and he's just like watching the sun.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Smoking smoking weed on the beach, like Belly comes downs, like,
- 13:19Speaker 2: give me one, and he's like no, yeah.
- 13:21Speaker 1: He's like, if I can't smoke, you can't even He's
- 13:22Speaker 1: like the classic belly, same old belly. Then and then
- 13:27Speaker 1: she just gets up and leaves, like where you're going,
- 13:28Speaker 1: and she's just like.
- 13:29Speaker 2: She goes on there she goes. So he goes before
- 13:31Speaker 2: everyone gets up because she didn't sleep for long. But
- 13:33Speaker 2: then he didn't sleep at all. Right, son's coming up.
- 13:35Speaker 2: He goes, let's go get some of those good muffins
- 13:37Speaker 2: from down the road.
- 13:38Speaker 1: She goes, nah, I got something to do. Runs off.
- 13:41Speaker 1: He goes, where are you going? She's like, I'm off
- 13:44Speaker 1: to see about a whale.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Ship. Bade me laugh this, But then when when it finished,
- 13:54Speaker 2: Beth goes, I want to watch another one.
- 13:56Speaker 1: So I was like, I was gonna text you last
- 13:59Speaker 1: night back. So we watched episode two. I was like same,
- 14:01Speaker 1: Oh no, I thoroughly enjoyed it and I'm came to
- 14:04Speaker 1: see what happened. How many like episodes are in each seasons.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Because we've got a bit of catching up to do, well,
- 14:08Speaker 1: we could try and fucking light should.
- 14:10Speaker 2: We pump out season one and do next week the
- 14:13Speaker 2: rest of it for season one for the rest of
- 14:15Speaker 2: the next week. Yeah, I'll go quickly onto prime Hogon.
- 14:17Speaker 2: That's a good idea, But I don't I dare say
- 14:19Speaker 2: it's doable. Yeah, like Beth can Binge show. But it's work, man,
- 14:24Speaker 2: That's what I was thinking. I was like, Yeah, I
- 14:25Speaker 2: was like, let's turn joy into fucking work. Season one
- 14:29Speaker 2: has seven.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Mate fucking ease back next week and we'll do a

- 16:36Speaker 1: a lot of views. Bro.
- 16:37Speaker 2: For the amount of follows, we'll go a lot. So
- 16:40Speaker 2: there's some good answers. Do you want to start? Okay?
- 16:45Speaker 1: So what do men want.
- 16:49Speaker 2: The approval of other?
- 16:51Speaker 1: Men they do. That is so true.
- 16:54Speaker 2: That's all they fucking want.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Yeah, they just want to impress their friends or the boys.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Ridiculous, It's terrible.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I just thought that was a good one.
- 17:05Speaker 2: I don't have any independence, do they?
- 17:08Speaker 1: Yeah, may have no independence. Okay, what do men want?
- 17:13Speaker 1: You mean? What do their dicks want? Right? Fah, it's
- 17:19Speaker 1: a well known fact. I think with their willies?
- 17:22Speaker 2: Then, well, yeah, what's the same, Because like you, Wally
- 17:28Speaker 2: has a thing called a head. People call it the head.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Men think with their head downstairs? What head thinking with? Yeah?
- 17:33Speaker 2: What do you thinking with? What are you thinking with?
- 17:36Speaker 2: I want to know what sort of trouble people have
- 17:38Speaker 2: gotten into with just thinking with the head? Well, I
- 17:42Speaker 2: can say we are fortunate enough to have never had
- 17:45Speaker 2: that problem, whereas thinking of some of our friends and
- 17:50Speaker 2: some of the scenarios that put themselves in, and I
- 17:53Speaker 2: can't believe I didn't do to get that head down
- 17:55Speaker 2: there wet so to say, I remember My issue is
- 18:02Speaker 2: I probably if I'm not if I'm not actually thinking,
- 18:06Speaker 2: we've my head up here, I'm not thinking at all.
- 18:10Speaker 2: The other thing that we can can overcome this is
- 18:14Speaker 2: my stomach.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Ah do you remember, do you remember bro.
- 18:19Speaker 2: When one night, so I must have I think I
- 18:24Speaker 2: had done a big stint of no drinking. And then
- 18:27Speaker 2: it was someone's birthday, so we went out and I
- 18:31Speaker 2: went out. It must have been your birthday or something.
- 18:34Speaker 1: That was my birthday, and we did that trend and
- 18:37Speaker 1: it was like, this is my first drink.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Yeah we did no, this was this was a time
- 18:43Speaker 2: after that. Well that was my birthday that okay, okay,
- 18:45Speaker 2: basically we all went out for something. This is when
- 18:47Speaker 2: I was managing the restaurant. But we went out at
- 18:49Speaker 2: that restaurant. We all got like maggott. Yeah. And so
- 18:53Speaker 2: I remember I was single and I was about to.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Go home with a girl. Oh yeah. And then so.
- 19:00Speaker 2: We were about to leave, like out the back door.
- 19:02Speaker 2: I was just I was about to do Irish goodbye
- 19:04Speaker 2: dip no goodbye.
- 19:04Speaker 1: To anyone, the best way to do it when you're driving.
- 19:06Speaker 1: So and then she.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Says, do you want to stay? Can we stay for
- 19:11Speaker 2: like ten more minutes? I just want to say bye
- 19:12Speaker 2: to my friends. And I was like, yeah, of course.
- 19:14Speaker 2: And I came and sat with you, and then you
- 19:17Speaker 2: said to me, after about five minutes, do you want
- 19:19Speaker 2: to go get food?
- 19:20Speaker 1: And then go on, so I feel terrible about it.
- 19:26Speaker 2: I didn't know that, but but I went I left
- 19:29Speaker 2: with you and was like, that's a great idea.
- 19:31Speaker 1: I left.
- 19:31Speaker 2: You didn't even tell the girl, and then I just
- 19:35Speaker 2: went home and just fucking didn't. I just didn't. Fucking
- 19:39Speaker 2: poor girl, and it's so me. I remember the next
- 19:44Speaker 2: day calling her, Yeah, she didn't answer.
- 19:46Speaker 1: I'm sponging to her since, oh really yeah, but not
- 19:50Speaker 1: knowing you like that would come across so badly. But
- 19:53Speaker 1: because I do know you, you had no malentate.
- 19:55Speaker 2: I had no malentine, and she, to be completely fair
- 19:57Speaker 2: in my defense, she was hard to find. It was busy,
- 20:01Speaker 2: like I definitely should have said something. I'm pretty sure
- 20:04Speaker 2: you about have asked for I wasn't. I was like,
- 20:05Speaker 2: I'm sorry, you're hungry.
- 20:07Speaker 1: You're very easy going when you're drying.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Well, you suggested it and you you just go on
- 20:11Speaker 2: the floor.
- 20:11Speaker 1: And I didn't know you were saying a girl either.
- 20:13Speaker 1: I would have just been like, I'm hungry.
- 20:15Speaker 2: He's where I remember my fucking mindset. I remember being like,
- 20:18Speaker 2: all right, if I say no to Oddie and I
- 20:21Speaker 2: go find you know, this woman, the situation's gone. I
- 20:26Speaker 2: was thinking like I'm not going to get food with
- 20:29Speaker 2: her because obviously I know what I'm going to be
- 20:31Speaker 2: doing when I get home.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Yeah, but I.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Don't have any food at home, and I know I'm
- 20:37Speaker 2: going to be starving because I'm hungry now. And I
- 20:40Speaker 2: was like, what's more important?
- 20:43Speaker 1: And I chose terrible as if you didn't find the
- 20:47Speaker 1: girl and be like, I'm starving, I'm just gonna get
- 20:48Speaker 1: a quick kebbab for the road.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Here's the thing, though, It's like I didn't want to.
- 20:51Speaker 2: I'm not gonna. I'm not like housing down this big
- 20:54Speaker 2: ask kabbab that's too much for one person and then
- 20:57Speaker 2: going and expecting her to want to kiss me fair And.
- 21:00Speaker 1: So I was doing it a fam. It's all how
- 21:05Speaker 1: you look at it.
- 21:06Speaker 2: I was either having like ten minutes of joy in
- 21:09Speaker 2: a kebab or like a minute and a half of joy, Like.
- 21:14Speaker 1: You know what I mean, generous? You know what I mean?
- 21:16Speaker 2: That's generous? All right?
- 21:21Speaker 1: What do men want?
- 21:23Speaker 2: Just something easy without labels?
- 21:26Speaker 1: I have just something casual and low key, right.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Comment?
- 21:32Speaker 1: Uh, reoccurrence. Reoccurrence is the label thing.
- 21:37Speaker 2: We're talking about labels for two years, I know we're
- 21:39Speaker 2: talking about why is no one putting labels anything two years,
- 21:42Speaker 2: been talking about it.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like we just got to get in
- 21:45Speaker 1: like that. My alter ego when I was trying to
- 21:48Speaker 1: be a toxic man's name is Chad. I feel like
- 21:51Speaker 1: a lot of these need to be said with like
- 21:52Speaker 1: a Chad ego, something like this, want some casual and
- 21:55Speaker 1: low key.
- 21:55Speaker 2: I feel like these need to be said with who
- 21:57Speaker 2: by the person who voices Tamlin in.
- 21:59Speaker 1: The We should have bought like some backwards caps or
- 22:02Speaker 1: something to get chains, to get into character chains. I'll
- 22:06Speaker 1: go again. Then, what do men want to have the
- 22:09Speaker 1: benefits of a relationship but not the obligations of a relationship?
- 22:14Speaker 2: Facts?
- 22:15Speaker 1: Bro Okay, I have one? Okay, what do men want?
- 22:22Speaker 1: Wify treatment on a girlfriend budget? I saw heaps of them. Oh,
- 22:27Speaker 1: I don't know why I got so true a mum
- 22:30Speaker 1: but in wife form.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Fucks they want to date their mom?
- 22:35Speaker 1: Why? I don't know, Fuck me, I gotta I do.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I did have a funny one. What do men want?
- 22:42Speaker 1: I don't know. Ask my missus.
- 22:48Speaker 2: I don't know why.
- 22:50Speaker 1: It comes back to mums and their sons and so
- 22:53Speaker 1: sons who have been like I was envious of them
- 22:56Speaker 1: growing up. You go over to your mate's house. I
- 22:58Speaker 1: stopped getting lunch made from me in like year nine
- 23:01Speaker 1: or ten. Yeah, and like mum stopp cleaning my room
- 23:03Speaker 1: and shit, yeah mine seven on. I was that when
- 23:05Speaker 1: you were still going he mate's houses and they're like
- 23:07Speaker 1: their mom would make it like hectic meals and like
- 23:10Speaker 1: their house would be spotless, in their room would be spotless,
- 23:12Speaker 1: like fuck, help is just sick like, but it's not.
- 23:16Speaker 1: They were setting it up still.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Those ones probably still fucking live at home and get
- 23:21Speaker 2: that shit done for them.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Bro. Oh, we have a friend we've talked about it
- 23:24Speaker 1: before and he's lived out at home for ages. When
- 23:26Speaker 1: he lived under us, he would take his laundry from
- 23:30Speaker 1: he lived out of home from his parents' house to
- 23:32Speaker 1: his parents' house so his mom could do his washing well,
- 23:34Speaker 1: because he would he would work.
- 23:36Speaker 2: He still worked like with his dad, and so he'd
- 23:38Speaker 2: go there in the morning and then go.
- 23:40Speaker 1: To work with his dad. But he'd leave his no
- 23:41Speaker 1: excu and his mom would do it. He also wouldn't
- 23:44Speaker 1: have food in his house because he'd go there and eat.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Yeah, he'd go there, I have breakfast there, like he
- 23:48Speaker 2: was living the dreams.
- 23:49Speaker 1: There's literally no point of living.
- 23:50Speaker 2: He should have been paying rent there, he was paying
- 23:53Speaker 2: rent here.
- 23:54Speaker 1: He just come sleepy.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:01Speaker 1: I gotta think how I can say this one, because
- 24:04Speaker 1: this is just this was probably the most reoccurring. Okay,
- 24:09Speaker 1: what do men want? Boobies? Hey?
- 24:16Speaker 2: I will say one thing I like to consider myself
- 24:21Speaker 2: non toxic and.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Not stereotypical. But one thing I do want is boobies
- 24:32Speaker 1: for yourself. No, just like maybe you are toxic. I
- 24:39Speaker 1: saw one, you know last week about my double D comment.
- 24:42Speaker 1: I wanted dogs and donuts and not double Someone commented
- 24:47Speaker 1: on this and said what do men want? And then
- 24:49Speaker 1: someone said audio apparently wants double teas. I was like, hey,
- 24:52Speaker 1: fuck you, it's not what I meant.
- 24:56Speaker 2: What do men want? Eight in one shampoo? I have
- 25:01Speaker 2: that too, white shampoo. Eights in one shampoo.
- 25:04Speaker 1: That's funny we picked the same one. I know they
- 25:07Speaker 1: must really want it. I personally, I.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Know you wouldn't use it.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I would well if I didn't have my skin journey
- 25:16Speaker 1: to adolescence, I think I would love eighting one shampoo.
- 25:20Speaker 1: You were blessed, just lucky hair looks skin. It's all
- 25:25Speaker 1: gonna go downhill at one point, mate, look at my
- 25:28Speaker 1: dad bro. But it's still good looking.
- 25:30Speaker 2: People say he looks like Woody Harrelson. I don't know
- 25:33Speaker 2: who that is.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Okay, but so what would the.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Eight things be in the eight and one shampoo?
- 25:41Speaker 1: So what's normally in the shampoo conditioner, face wash, body wash,
- 25:45Speaker 1: body wash. That's four four more.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Anyway, we could somehow make it be like moisturizing cream
- 25:52Speaker 2: at the same time moisturizer.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Hand, hand and body moisturizing the hand.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Okay, it's just full body moisturize. We'll go with six,
- 26:01Speaker 2: like face, body and hand moisturize.
- 26:03Speaker 1: That's six.
- 26:05Speaker 2: I need two more el or.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Lip gloss, lip, lip balm, yeah, lip balm, I'm thinking
- 26:15Speaker 1: the crazy and then the eighth one. Surely we could
- 26:18Speaker 1: brush our teeth no, no deodorant at the same time
- 26:27Speaker 1: you take away my lip, arm.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Brush, teeth and deodoran brush te eighteen one show cologne
- 26:34Speaker 2: the Yeah, you could. I'd use it, but you would
- 26:38Speaker 2: use it.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I remember when we first lived together, you had a
- 26:40Speaker 1: I think it was a four and one. I was
- 26:41Speaker 1: a two and one. I was a two in one
- 26:43Speaker 1: when we went camping, I was a three in one.
- 26:46Speaker 2: You don't have to which was face face is crazy.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Face shamp I can understand shampoo and condition and being
- 26:53Speaker 1: the same, but face is fucking crazy.
- 26:55Speaker 2: One time I was at my auntie's place a few
- 26:59Speaker 2: hours north and I was having a shower and I
- 27:03Speaker 2: used to I went through a phase. I used to
- 27:05Speaker 2: think that you had to wash your hair every single day, really.
- 27:07Speaker 1: When I was younger.
- 27:09Speaker 2: So I would wash and condition my hair every day
- 27:12Speaker 2: and it was just always soft and floppy.
- 27:15Speaker 1: But I didn't bring my own and in the shower
- 27:18Speaker 1: like they.
- 27:19Speaker 2: She obviously had her own in her own suite, but
- 27:20Speaker 2: I was in just like the other shower and my
- 27:22Speaker 2: younger cousin didn't do that, and so there was nothing.
- 27:25Speaker 2: And I washed my hair with a bar of soap.
- 27:30Speaker 1: And I thought that was a good idea.
- 27:31Speaker 2: How old were you?
- 27:33Speaker 1: Probably like fourteen? We were going to say, like eighteen
- 27:37Speaker 1: the nine.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Yeah, like fourteen fifteen, I've washed It was crazy crazy.
- 27:42Speaker 1: It's insane, fucking insane. What do men want? This was
- 27:46Speaker 1: the only one I really related to. Someone to bite
- 27:49Speaker 1: my bicep and give me cuddles. Bite my bicep. Fuck.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Yes.
- 27:59Speaker 1: The worst thing is every man does this to like
- 28:02Speaker 1: flex their girlfriend and they're like feel it, and when
- 28:05Speaker 1: they say no, it's just like you don't even love me.
- 28:08Speaker 2: You may as well kick me. Yeah, kick me, yea,
- 28:11Speaker 2: give it a kiss when they say no, that's pretty good. Yeah,
- 28:16Speaker 2: she'll hype me up.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I've got like a fifty to fifty hit rate day.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Really Yeah, she's like, nah, come on, I think I
- 28:23Speaker 1: do it.
- 28:24Speaker 2: The reason you have a fifty to fifty hit rate
- 28:25Speaker 2: is because I know for a fact you do it
- 28:27Speaker 2: ten times more than I do it. I know for
- 28:30Speaker 2: a fact you do it at least once when you
- 28:33Speaker 2: see it. Every single time you go see each other,
- 28:34Speaker 2: you do.
- 28:35Speaker 1: It at least once.
- 28:35Speaker 2: It shouldn't matter.
- 28:37Speaker 1: It's like what when you say I love you, the
- 28:39Speaker 1: more you say you shouldn't get less responsive, should you
- 28:42Speaker 1: do you reckon? The more you say I love you,
- 28:44Speaker 1: the less you mean it. No, I think it means
- 28:47Speaker 1: the exact same amount every single time. Means the exactly
- 28:49Speaker 1: same thing with my passtep. Now, I got a good
- 28:54Speaker 1: hit rate because yeah, I do it.
- 28:55Speaker 2: I don't know less than once a month of those.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Numbers, rookie numbers. Yeah, that's to get excited.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Let's let's give us the one where and shit man
- 29:07Speaker 2: big enough to fill maybe she won't get excited.
- 29:13Speaker 1: What do men want?
- 29:16Speaker 2: I relate to this one, the Ultimate Collector Series Millennium
- 29:20Speaker 2: Falcon Lego with seven four hundred and fifty one pieces,
- 29:25Speaker 2: seven four hundred and fifty one pieces. That's very specific.
- 29:31Speaker 2: I would like that too. I think that was a good, nice,
- 29:33Speaker 2: healthy one too.
- 29:34Speaker 1: That's a good one. What do men want again? For
- 29:37Speaker 1: the boys to think I'm cool? Yeah? Yeah, they want approval.
- 29:41Speaker 2: I used to want that. Yeah, I couldn't think of
- 29:43Speaker 2: anything worse Now.
- 29:45Speaker 1: It's kind of like, you know how when you're younger
- 29:48Speaker 1: and you're trying to figure out life and what you
- 29:49Speaker 1: want to do with it, and you do things, you
- 29:51Speaker 1: dress certain ways to impress other people. Yeah, it really
- 29:54Speaker 1: falls under that you do things for I was in
- 29:57Speaker 1: the movies watching Fantastic Four in the week d and
- 30:01Speaker 1: I went by myself and I was like, Oh, this
- 30:03Speaker 1: is gonna be a nice little date by myself. And
- 30:05Speaker 1: there was a kid sitting on the back row and
- 30:06Speaker 1: they had to be like fifteen sixteen, and they were
- 30:09Speaker 1: all trying to impress each other. They're like swearing to
- 30:11Speaker 1: the movie, plants like funny sounds on their phone, throwing
- 30:13Speaker 1: like chocolate and shit, and I was like, this is
- 30:15Speaker 1: just the fucking worst experience ever. Yeah, And I was like,
- 30:18Speaker 1: this is rible, and someone said to him, because I
- 30:20Speaker 1: don't know the confidence. Now, I'm not shut up, but
- 30:21Speaker 1: someone said, guys, you mind being quiet? And then they
- 30:24Speaker 1: mocked him, like you guys mean being quiet?
- 30:28Speaker 2: Where the fuck do they find the confidence?
- 30:30Speaker 1: Why did teenagers have so much confidence?
- 30:32Speaker 2: Now?
- 30:33Speaker 1: I'm glad I didn't say anything because I would have
- 30:34Speaker 1: been easy pickens. I was sitting by myself, LOSERU on
- 30:38Speaker 1: the mo. They would have just started fucking bullying.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Serious. They mocked this man.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Yeah it was dark so I couldn't see it as
- 30:46Speaker 1: a man, but they mocked him anyway.
- 30:49Speaker 2: I'm telling you right now, if I, randomly, when I
- 30:51Speaker 2: was a kid had the confidence fucking around but then
- 30:54Speaker 2: someone came up and said something, I straight away would
- 30:57Speaker 2: have said so sorry.
- 30:58Speaker 1: It's like pussy's that pack mentality, Like it's been misconstrued
- 31:02Speaker 1: somewhere along the line with it. When there's so many
- 31:04Speaker 1: boys that these things are considered okay or considered cool
- 31:08Speaker 1: because they're impressing each other. But if you're just like
- 31:10Speaker 1: one on one or you would never do that in
- 31:11Speaker 1: front of your parents or just one mate, because you
- 31:14Speaker 1: know your friends, what would you what would you do
- 31:17Speaker 1: if you said some to How many was there?
- 31:20Speaker 2: I reckon there was like six or seven Okay, it
- 31:22Speaker 2: was a fair field. There was like six or seven
- 31:23Speaker 2: of these kids, like mid teens.
- 31:25Speaker 1: I was thinking in my head after if I tripped
- 31:27Speaker 1: one of them, like what would they do if I
- 31:28Speaker 1: could take them? I was thinking that, like walking out
- 31:31Speaker 1: to tap one of their legs.
- 31:32Speaker 2: What would you do if they just this group of
- 31:35Speaker 2: like fifteen year olds right started like throwing mold teasers
- 31:39Speaker 2: at you.
- 31:39Speaker 1: In the movies they do molds and they hit you
- 31:41Speaker 1: and you turn around.
- 31:42Speaker 2: You're like, what the fuck do you want?
- 31:43Speaker 1: Like go away?
- 31:44Speaker 2: And they were like, ha, here on your own, loser,
- 31:50Speaker 2: fucking Nigel, no friends over here?
- 31:52Speaker 1: What would you do? Would you we even like have
- 31:53Speaker 1: a comeback? I think I would have left, Think I
- 31:56Speaker 1: would leave. I was thinking to myself. Even though they
- 32:00Speaker 1: didn't do anything, I was thinking like if this continues.
- 32:02Speaker 1: They were putting their flash on their phone on and ship.
- 32:05Speaker 1: There was a couple like too next to me that
- 32:06Speaker 1: kept looking over and and I was like, if this continues,
- 32:08Speaker 1: like I don't want to be here, nah, ruining the experience. Yeah, exactly.
- 32:11Speaker 1: I was for some reason though, because there wasn't that
- 32:14Speaker 1: many people there. The Holtz lady or guy who comes
- 32:16Speaker 1: through a flashlight I didn't walk through once. I was like,
- 32:18Speaker 1: this is the opportunity for it to happen. Wow, But
- 32:22Speaker 1: also you're not going to pick up on How.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Do you get those little fuckers not to do that
- 32:25Speaker 2: type of shit? Condoms? Wow? That was good.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that was good.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Condoms should have been more revalent when they were being conceived.
- 32:45Speaker 2: What do men want a ten out of ten women
- 32:48Speaker 2: while offering minus nine effort and looking like a solid three.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Yo fast? They do want so much, but they can
- 33:01Speaker 1: offer so little. That's a good point. That's a great,
- 33:05Speaker 1: great point. Okay, oh this one I actually do want
- 33:08Speaker 1: as well. So what do men want women to think
- 33:11Speaker 1: they're funny?
- 33:13Speaker 2: One?
- 33:14Speaker 1: Yeah? Like, I don't think that's toxic to say that's
- 33:17Speaker 1: what every man wants.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Even if it is toxic, I'm sorry, but deep down,
- 33:21Speaker 2: like if Beth said to me, I'm the funniest person
- 33:23Speaker 2: she knows, I'd be like, wow, what's her name?
- 33:26Speaker 1: Beth?
- 33:27Speaker 2: He said, Bed. If Beth stop gas lighting me, I
- 33:33Speaker 2: know how to say my golfriend. Don't even fucking start
- 33:38Speaker 2: to think I said Bed.
- 33:39Speaker 1: You did say Bed. I did not say Bed. Do
- 33:43Speaker 1: not gaslight me.
- 33:45Speaker 2: I said Beth's name probably four thousand times in my life.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Now we've been together for a year. I did not
- 33:53Speaker 1: fucking say Ben. You just really good.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Right before pause and we played, Beth said to me,
- 33:58Speaker 2: I'm the funniest person. She knows fat. Right before we
- 34:04Speaker 2: started recording, we were talking about my turn pretty.
- 34:07Speaker 1: We were talking.
- 34:07Speaker 2: About Conrad and I said the word Conrad, said it wrong.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Then Audie goes, oh, yeah, you're gonna suck it up.
- 34:17Speaker 2: He's because your dog's name used to be Comrad with
- 34:19Speaker 2: an M. He said comrade. And I fucking did not.
- 34:22Speaker 2: I said con Rad because I'm not an idiot to
- 34:27Speaker 2: comrade Comrade. Comrade said it, and I don't fuck up
- 34:34Speaker 2: my words.
- 34:36Speaker 1: You just dug yourself a whole because I'm going to
- 34:37Speaker 1: replay that. I did not say Bed.
- 34:39Speaker 2: You said Bed. There's no funking not meeting another girl,
- 34:42Speaker 2: just meaning you fucked it up.
- 34:43Speaker 1: I did not say that, because die on this. You
- 34:46Speaker 1: just said it really quickly, and you're like Bed, such
- 34:50Speaker 1: whole shit.
- 34:50Speaker 2: I hope that I hope you go to do the
- 34:52Speaker 2: replay and you don't add it in because you're wrong.
- 34:54Speaker 1: We'll see, we'll see. You had to bring up the
- 34:56Speaker 1: one off cam because I.
- 34:57Speaker 2: Was right twice. I you said comrades.
- 35:02Speaker 1: I didn't know.
- 35:03Speaker 2: I did not say your comrades dead, your dog. Stop
- 35:06Speaker 2: bringing them up. You are the one who said that too.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Stop bringing them up.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Comrades, Dad, rest in peace. What do men want to
- 35:17Speaker 2: actually be the height that they say they are?
- 35:21Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, no, no no. They want the girl
- 35:25Speaker 1: to think that they are the height.
- 35:28Speaker 2: They say they are.
- 35:28Speaker 1: They don't care. No men care about height. No, they
- 35:31Speaker 1: just care that their fucking girl thinks that. I reckon.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Like they say they're six to one and they're five eleven.
- 35:37Speaker 2: They just want the girl to assume they're six to one. No, bro,
- 35:40Speaker 2: I reckon. If a guy's five eleven and he says,
- 35:42Speaker 2: you see six, he probably did he wants to be
- 35:44Speaker 2: six one. Yeah, both want to I think the girl,
- 35:46Speaker 2: but it's more important I.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Want to be six one. That's great.
- 35:50Speaker 2: Okay.
- 35:51Speaker 1: What do men want for their mummy to always cook
- 35:55Speaker 1: dinner and do their washing?
- 35:57Speaker 2: Fuck that? Okay, So my last one, this was pretty accurate.
- 36:04Speaker 2: What do men want to start a podcast and successfully
- 36:08Speaker 2: invest in crypto?
- 36:10Speaker 1: Oh?
- 36:10Speaker 2: One's dicked that. And the thing about that is that's
- 36:16Speaker 2: actually me. Yeah you tried, because I have lost money
- 36:19Speaker 2: on crypto and I've given up. Actually, well, it's been
- 36:22Speaker 2: a long time since I checked that.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Remember last time I checked it was like six months ago.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Because I had something like ee hundred dollars. You put
- 36:29Speaker 1: like what was it five k into ethereum.
- 36:31Speaker 2: No, it's called like ripple or something.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Did you have etheroreum to start and you seld it?
- 36:35Speaker 2: No? I never had theoryum. So if I come on,
- 36:39Speaker 2: log me in Wi FI work, If I wait, this
- 36:42Speaker 2: could be sick a. If it's like heaps.
- 36:45Speaker 1: You always say this and then it's gone down, like
- 36:47Speaker 1: eight dollars or tithing.
- 36:48Speaker 2: It always ends up just going down. Oh wait, how
- 36:50Speaker 2: did I get in my par Okay, quickly, I think
- 36:51Speaker 2: you had two hundred and fifty.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Last nime I had four hundred something. It was like four.
- 36:55Speaker 1: All my informations is wrong. Okay, Actually it was.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Like I think it was like in the four hundreds.
- 36:59Speaker 2: But I was fifty dollars up. Okay, I was fifty
- 37:02Speaker 2: dollars up. About six months ago, and that was it
- 37:05Speaker 2: was a while ago.
- 37:06Speaker 1: Ey, okay, I've got it.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Do I've got to do Okay, take a guess.
- 37:10Speaker 1: So was it fourteen or four sixteen? It was around.
- 37:13Speaker 2: At about that yes, ummm, I.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Think it's up five twenty five oh eight, Shit, I
- 37:20Speaker 1: got five hundred and eight dollars. Bro, how can we
- 37:23Speaker 1: say they're gonna get you a house one day?
- 37:25Speaker 2: Keep that in just fucking skyrocket.
- 37:27Speaker 1: So you've ticked both things. Podcasts and Crypto got dude
- 37:30Speaker 1: on the twenty set on the twenty third of July.
- 37:32Speaker 1: It was at six o' four. They checked this more often.
- 37:37Speaker 1: You lost one hundred dollars. There was one hundred bucks.
- 37:40Speaker 2: The last time I checked it, I reckon.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it was a while ago, it was, yeah, And
- 37:45Speaker 1: it's slightly concerning how excited you're getting. It's hilarious, like
- 37:49Speaker 1: here's the thing is like I'm never going to let
- 37:50Speaker 1: myself put more money in.
- 37:51Speaker 2: But also it's just fun to watch this. That's gonna
- 37:54Speaker 2: see what everything's at. It's an expensive game bitcoin aud
- 37:59Speaker 2: guess in it like one hundred fifty thousand, one hundred
- 38:01Speaker 2: and seventy eight. Yeah, crazy, it's just it's the most
- 38:05Speaker 2: by far, and like it's never ever going to get
- 38:08Speaker 2: fucking caught. I bet wow, crazy. We should do some research.
- 38:11Speaker 2: What should we put my my my crypto money into.
- 38:14Speaker 1: I want to invest in gyg stock. That's why I
- 38:16Speaker 1: want to put all my money.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Maybe I should put my five, my five hundred and
- 38:19Speaker 2: eight into gyg stock. It's it's only going off. I'm
- 38:22Speaker 2: only going to go way more the product.
- 38:24Speaker 1: It's great. My last one fucking hits men in the face,
- 38:30Speaker 1: I think in a good way, right answer if you
- 38:32Speaker 1: were a man. It's also very harsh. What do men want?
- 38:36Speaker 1: Freshly eighteen? No frontal lobe?
- 38:39Speaker 2: Fuck? Yeah, I don't know, but it's like as harsh
- 38:45Speaker 2: as it is.
- 38:46Speaker 1: They do it right. They don't. Men don't.
- 38:49Speaker 2: There was one in there I saw and it was like,
- 38:50Speaker 2: men don't want someone that's going to challenge them.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Really, I love that majority of me.
- 38:55Speaker 2: I don't want someone that's going to like challenge them.
- 38:57Speaker 2: They just want someone that's going to be like yeah, yeah,
- 39:00Speaker 2: or like catered to their needs yeah type vibes.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:03Speaker 2: What did we see who? Or in the Facebook group?
- 39:10Speaker 2: The next ig question we need to do is, oh,
- 39:13Speaker 2: what was a red flag that you missed or something,
- 39:16Speaker 2: and he didn't realize that it was a red flag too. Afterwards,
- 39:19Speaker 2: someone commented on the post in the Facebook group that
- 39:23Speaker 2: their boyfriend had to make a group chat with their
- 39:26Speaker 2: friends and one of them said, like, having a younger
- 39:30Speaker 2: girlfriends better because you can mold them into what you
- 39:34Speaker 2: want them to be.
- 39:35Speaker 1: That is crazy and you can see his thinking. He
- 39:39Speaker 1: wouldn't think that's toxic at all.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Well, you would be like, you could say, so you're
- 39:43Speaker 2: a manipulator, right, and he would be like, no, no, no, no,
- 39:47Speaker 2: it be like just read back what you fucking said.
- 39:50Speaker 2: They would never be able to say the definition of
- 39:52Speaker 2: manipulation not insane. I don't understand some men's learning curve
- 39:59Speaker 2: happened in the worst ways. Dilemmas time Daddy, Twisty Twas.
- 40:12Speaker 1: My dilemma is, I'm going to say tricky, but honest,
- 40:18Speaker 1: that's what we want.
- 40:18Speaker 2: I love an honest dilemma. Loves a little bit of
- 40:20Speaker 2: a ticky confess.
- 40:21Speaker 1: How can they submit one?
- 40:22Speaker 2: They can submit one by It's either linked in the
- 40:25Speaker 2: description below, or if you go to our Instagram and
- 40:28Speaker 2: you go to a little link in our bio and
- 40:29Speaker 2: scroll to the bottom and click on confession sessions wrong,
- 40:32Speaker 2: and you click on dilemmas you can submit there. They're
- 40:34Speaker 2: all anonymous, even though we give you an option to
- 40:36Speaker 2: be anonymous or not, they're all anonymous.
- 40:38Speaker 1: You could physically see Jake's brain scrolling on Instagram confession
- 40:45Speaker 1: sessions because it's right underneath.
- 40:48Speaker 2: I didn't even know that.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Okay, hello, thank you for reading my dilemma.
- 40:56Speaker 2: I haven't read it yet. I'm going to try and
- 41:00Speaker 2: keep it brief. I am currently in a relationship, and
- 41:02Speaker 2: it's been about one year at this point, and it's
- 41:05Speaker 2: honestly the best relationship I've ever been in.
- 41:08Speaker 1: He's not the problem.
- 41:09Speaker 2: I think there is something wrong where I just can't
- 41:11Speaker 2: seem to stop researching his past partners. Oh so she
- 41:15Speaker 2: thinks she hands. I am very nosy by nature, and
- 41:21Speaker 2: I knew at one point when we were not dating
- 41:23Speaker 2: yet that he was also seeing somebody else, as that
- 41:26Speaker 2: person tried to call him while we were in his
- 41:29Speaker 2: car driving, so I saw her name. One thing I
- 41:32Speaker 2: can't help is looking at people that he has spoken
- 41:35Speaker 2: to with, so he has spoken with, or gone on
- 41:37Speaker 2: dates with, or even had relationships with on Instagram when
- 41:41Speaker 2: they are public profiles. This isn't the first instance of
- 41:44Speaker 2: me doing this. I am only realizing this recently, that
- 41:47Speaker 2: this is probably a deeper issue now that my partner
- 41:50Speaker 2: is actually amazing. I have been in similar situations where
- 41:54Speaker 2: with partners in my past, but those partners have ended
- 41:56Speaker 2: up cheating on me or talking to their ex's at
- 41:59Speaker 2: length behind my back or both. So I've had hunches
- 42:03Speaker 2: and I was usually right, but now I don't have
- 42:06Speaker 2: a hunch. But I feel like it's a bad habit
- 42:08Speaker 2: at this point to look up those girls to see
- 42:10Speaker 2: if they've posted anything new. I'm very confident in this
- 42:13Speaker 2: current relationship, and sometimes I feel like looking up these
- 42:17Speaker 2: girls takes up too much of my time, Like why
- 42:20Speaker 2: do I want to look at them so badly? I
- 42:21Speaker 2: would consider myself a confident person, and I am wondering
- 42:25Speaker 2: if you have any advice to help break this habit.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Ah Okay, Well, the first thing too, I guess you
- 42:34Speaker 1: can say getting better is realizing it is a problem.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean your first steps already there.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Yeah, the first steps there. So first tick is done.
- 42:42Speaker 1: But so you've recognized there's a problem, how can we
- 42:44Speaker 1: then help her to stop it? And so she used
- 42:50Speaker 1: to do it because there was a gut feeling, but
- 42:52Speaker 1: now she's doing it out of habits and have a
- 42:54Speaker 1: gut feeling muscle membory type shit.
- 42:57Speaker 2: It's the urge the self control.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Yes, So how do you teach self discipline, self control
- 43:03Speaker 1: within this and know when I guess love's involved, which
- 43:07Speaker 1: is the strongest emotion.
- 43:08Speaker 2: You need to create a group chat with every single
- 43:11Speaker 2: one of the girls he's ever spoken to, dated or seen. Right,
- 43:15Speaker 2: create a group chat and say, guys, not gonna lie.
- 43:17Speaker 2: I have a problem. All of you live in my head,
- 43:20Speaker 2: rent free, I need you ought to block I cannot
- 43:22Speaker 2: look you up.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Well maybe other than the start of that, the solution
- 43:26Speaker 1: is just block them. Then you can just go on
- 43:29Speaker 1: block them. Sounds like she doesn't give them, just go
- 43:31Speaker 1: on block them? Oh true, I wonder. So on Patreon
- 43:36Speaker 1: we I think this is a band aid fix, not
- 43:42Speaker 1: necessarily a solution to start. But so the problem is
- 43:47Speaker 1: you go on there out of habit and you just
- 43:49Speaker 1: have to see it and it's this instinct within you.
- 43:51Speaker 1: But so on Patreon, we bought these things called the
- 43:54Speaker 1: brick and they break certain apps within your phone, and
- 44:00Speaker 1: when you go on your phone you can't go on
- 44:02Speaker 1: them until you physically tap this brick and unlock it
- 44:05Speaker 1: and you leave the brick in another room. I think
- 44:07Speaker 1: this is definitely a band aid, but it's going to
- 44:09Speaker 1: break that sort of muscle memory and that urge, and
- 44:11Speaker 1: it's gonna sort of check you check yourself when you
- 44:14Speaker 1: go to do it, you're like, oh shit, it's blocked.
- 44:16Speaker 1: And then also you have to physically go into another
- 44:18Speaker 1: room tap your phone and you be like, what the
- 44:20Speaker 1: fuck am I doing? And it's going to break that
- 44:22Speaker 1: muscle memory you've got in your mind of doing this.
- 44:25Speaker 1: I think that could be a helpful step, but I
- 44:26Speaker 1: don't think it's a solution.
- 44:28Speaker 2: It's hard as well, you know, because it's like if
- 44:31Speaker 2: Instagram didn't exist, you wouldn't be doing it. So it's
- 44:35Speaker 2: like you need to limit your time on Instagram, because
- 44:38Speaker 2: I dare say if you could somehow limit your time
- 44:41Speaker 2: on Instagram, first of all, you're gonna be more productive
- 44:44Speaker 2: in your working life and your day life. And then
- 44:47Speaker 2: when you let yourself go on it, what you're gonna
- 44:49Speaker 2: want to do is actually watch some reels, watch what
- 44:52Speaker 2: your friends are doing, and then eventually you should just
- 44:54Speaker 2: forget about them. I say, I dare say, I don't know,
- 44:57Speaker 2: maybe you should fucking like. I don't like suggesting therapy
- 45:02Speaker 2: because I don't think that's the answer to everything. But
- 45:05Speaker 2: I just think that there's certain times where certain people
- 45:08Speaker 2: know how to ask the right questions where you could
- 45:10Speaker 2: explain this whole thing to someone and then we can
- 45:12Speaker 2: think of little solutions that we think would help us. Right,
- 45:15Speaker 2: but we don't know what it's like to be, you know,
- 45:17Speaker 2: and so we also don't know how to ask the
- 45:20Speaker 2: questions that would get you to then give yourself the
- 45:24Speaker 2: answer because we can't give the answer.
- 45:26Speaker 1: Like maybe you think you're confident, but you're actually not.
- 45:29Speaker 1: You never know.
- 45:30Speaker 2: It could be the case like maybe you are super insecure,
- 45:32Speaker 2: and it's just not a thing where it's like crippling anxiety. Insecurity,
- 45:35Speaker 2: it's more of the constant need to go look at
- 45:38Speaker 2: what they've posted, just to see how they're looking, if
- 45:40Speaker 2: they've got their hair changed, what they're doing, blah blah.
- 45:42Speaker 1: Blah blah blah.
- 45:43Speaker 2: Like so we don't actually know the answer to that,
- 45:45Speaker 2: but there's certain people that can ask the correct questions
- 45:48Speaker 2: and get that out of you because you know the answer.
- 45:51Speaker 2: It's a hard one because you say you're confident, you
- 45:55Speaker 2: say you're confident in the relationship, you say your boyfriend's
- 45:58Speaker 2: the best, and yeah, it always Insti're doing it, checking
- 46:03Speaker 2: people that he has seen, blah blah blah, blah blah.
- 46:06Speaker 2: One thing that's obviously caused this is the fact that
- 46:09Speaker 2: you've had hunches in the past, checked in the past,
- 46:11Speaker 2: been right in the past. So it's like a dog.
- 46:14Speaker 2: It's like when you're training a dog. So Tilly, for instance,
- 46:19Speaker 2: she growls and gets protective of Beth. That's worked for
- 46:23Speaker 2: her because she's insecure. So someone comes over to her me,
- 46:28Speaker 2: She'll growl at me and I'll.
- 46:29Speaker 1: Go, okay, I'll leave you alone. So it works.
- 46:31Speaker 2: So every time someone does it, she's gonna growl. I
- 46:33Speaker 2: guess my question is is if you just think of
- 46:35Speaker 2: it in like a black and white sense where something
- 46:38Speaker 2: you've done worked and now it's just it's almost like
- 46:42Speaker 2: you're maybe looking for something to be wrong. Well, you're
- 46:49Speaker 2: you used to it being wrong.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, But I also think so she had
- 46:52Speaker 1: that solution, but it now no longer works because there
- 46:55Speaker 1: is no problem. There's no problem, there's no Yeah, you
- 46:56Speaker 1: don't need a solution for anything, so she now needs
- 46:58Speaker 1: the heel in another way. And you bring up a
- 47:00Speaker 1: good point is we can never know the individual who
- 47:02Speaker 1: sent it in, but if this was me, what do
- 47:04Speaker 1: you have to do is practice discipline and in my life,
- 47:09Speaker 1: setting little bit of little goals here and there is
- 47:11Speaker 1: how you do do that. And limiting screen time, like
- 47:14Speaker 1: Jake said, I think is the best option, and having
- 47:16Speaker 1: intent when you go on there. Set a little time.
- 47:18Speaker 1: You're allowed to go on Instagram at scroll and be
- 47:20Speaker 1: like fifteen minutes. And when you're on there, you scroll
- 47:22Speaker 1: and stuff, and you have intent to what you're doing,
- 47:25Speaker 1: and you can't don't just pick up your phone back
- 47:26Speaker 1: on what's you're doing what you're doing, because then you
- 47:29Speaker 1: break that sort of like discipline cycle and you feel
- 47:31Speaker 1: like you're cheating on yourself when you do it. Just
- 47:32Speaker 1: these little your goals can be whatever you want. It
- 47:34Speaker 1: could be five minutes, fifteen minutes, or it could be
- 47:36Speaker 1: like I don't know, you go on there and research
- 47:39Speaker 1: famous people, so that's what you like doing. Just look
- 47:40Speaker 1: up Kimkaine. Shit, that's what you're doing. But you have
- 47:43Speaker 1: intent to what you're doing. Yeah, I agree, it's interesting.
- 47:45Speaker 2: I wonder if you could just try one time. Right,
- 47:48Speaker 2: Let's just say the next time you have the urge
- 47:49Speaker 2: to go look someone up that he used to see.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Just obviously you get this urge, you go look them
- 47:56Speaker 2: up and that like curbs are craving, know, Yeah, I
- 48:02Speaker 2: would be interested to know what you feel when you,
- 48:05Speaker 2: let's say you feel the urge and then you go, Okay,
- 48:07Speaker 2: fuck it, you know what, I'm going to fight it
- 48:08Speaker 2: and I'm just going to refuse to go look them up.
- 48:10Speaker 1: I'm not going to do it self control.
- 48:12Speaker 2: I would be interested to be like, are you then
- 48:14Speaker 2: getting anxious because now it's like, oh I thought about it,
- 48:17Speaker 2: I want to do it, I'm going to do it.
- 48:19Speaker 2: I'm not letting myself do it. And then are you
- 48:21Speaker 2: getting anxious over like nothing or will you just forget
- 48:24Speaker 2: about it? We bring up a good point there.
- 48:26Speaker 1: Actually it's a type of addiction, and although it doesn't
- 48:31Speaker 1: seem like it, it is. And there's definitely lots of
- 48:36Speaker 1: resources to help with addiction. Yeah, And because I was
- 48:40Speaker 1: thinking when you were saying that it's like alcohol addiction
- 48:42Speaker 1: or anything like that, it's the hardest thing to do
- 48:44Speaker 1: is resist that urge when you're used to it.
- 48:47Speaker 2: So maybe a therapist is a good option.
- 48:50Speaker 1: I don't know, like you're craving something. What was that
- 48:52Speaker 1: documentary on Netflix about phones and what was that called?
- 48:57Speaker 1: It was a great documentary.
- 48:58Speaker 2: I would recommend it Netflix documentary Phone. Yeah, there was
- 49:00Speaker 2: one called like the social Dilemma. There's something I think
- 49:03Speaker 2: that was it.
- 49:03Speaker 1: Yeah, just look that up. Look, there was like three
- 49:05Speaker 1: of them, and it might have been the three part series,
- 49:07Speaker 1: and it was really good at breaking those habits of
- 49:09Speaker 1: the addiction to your phone, yeah, which is a lot
- 49:12Speaker 1: of overlapping symptoms to the addiction of looking someone up.
- 49:15Speaker 2: Yeah, bro, it's fuck. This is honestly a tough one't oh,
- 49:17Speaker 2: very hard eh yeah.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's great that you recognize it as a problem,
- 49:20Speaker 1: because that is the hardest thing, the first step. Yeah.
- 49:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 49:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 49:24Speaker 2: Do you bring that up with his boyfriend? Do you
- 49:26Speaker 2: just kind of wait if you figure it out?
- 49:29Speaker 1: Bliss, I would hope he If you it's phrased it
- 49:33Speaker 1: like that dilemma, I would say yes to be actually
- 49:36Speaker 1: thinking about I would want birth to bring it up
- 49:37Speaker 1: with me. Yeah, if phrased it like that, But if
- 49:39Speaker 1: you it'd be tricky because you'd have to phrase it right,
- 49:43Speaker 1: because he could take that terribly true. He could very
- 49:46Speaker 1: take that very bad. Yeah, but I think if he's
- 49:47Speaker 1: a supportive, nice guy, she'd be like, Oh, let's get
- 49:49Speaker 1: through this, because I can recognize.
- 49:50Speaker 2: You're wanting to heal.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, my dilemma title. I love my best
- 49:54Speaker 1: friend's boyfriend and she found out that. You see and
- 50:02Speaker 1: when I say this was well written, it's well written,
- 50:06Speaker 1: and you can tell chatshib t help high relatables. I
- 50:11Speaker 1: need to get this off my chest. I met this guy,
- 50:14Speaker 1: let's call him Chris. From the moment we met, I
- 50:16Speaker 1: felt this strong connection, instant chemistry, but being shy and scared,
- 50:21Speaker 1: I didn't say anything. Months later, I ran into him,
- 50:24Speaker 1: only this time, my best friend introduced him as her boyfriend.
- 50:29Speaker 1: You can imagine how that felt. She was so excited.
- 50:32Speaker 1: We already knew each other, and because I love her dearly,
- 50:35Speaker 1: I decided to kill the feelings. But you just can't
- 50:39Speaker 1: kill off feelings like that, right, Some feelings just linger,
- 50:42Speaker 1: sometimes even forever. Months into their relationship, my car broke
- 50:47Speaker 1: down one evening before I could even call a mechanic Tracy.
- 50:51Speaker 1: My best friend called me and insisted I reach out
- 50:54Speaker 1: to Chris, since he'd been nearby. I resisted, but she pushed. Pussed,
- 51:00Speaker 1: but she pushed, and eventually I gave in. Chris showed up,
- 51:04Speaker 1: helped me out, and ironically, his car broke down too.
- 51:08Speaker 1: We joked about how ridiculous this situation was, and then
- 51:11Speaker 1: of course it started raining. We ran through the rain, laughing,
- 51:14Speaker 1: and for the moment it felt cinematic. He asked why
- 51:18Speaker 1: he hadn't seen me much around lately, and I just
- 51:20Speaker 1: mumbled something vague. Truth was, every time I saw him,
- 51:23Speaker 1: I felt this mix of guilt and jealousy I didn't
- 51:26Speaker 1: know how to carry. I thought I was over it,
- 51:29Speaker 1: but that night reignited everything. I didn't just like him anymore.
- 51:33Speaker 1: I realized I was in love with him, and it
- 51:35Speaker 1: tore me apart. I never crossed any lines. I never confessed.
- 51:39Speaker 1: I kept my distance. I chose Chasey because I love
- 51:42Speaker 1: her more than I love the idea of being with him.
- 51:45Speaker 1: I know feelings can't be controlled, but silence can't, so
- 51:48Speaker 1: I said nothing to anyone except my diary. Then one
- 51:53Speaker 1: night I came home to find Tracy sitting on my
- 51:56Speaker 1: bed holding my diary. Her eyes were filled with tears
- 52:00Speaker 1: and betrayal, and that look it turned my defenses up.
- 52:03Speaker 1: She confronted me, called me disloyal, and I snapped Suddenly.
- 52:10Speaker 1: I wasn't just afraid of what was coming next. I
- 52:12Speaker 1: was angry because how was either one being branded as
- 52:16Speaker 1: the trader here? I buried my feelings from Chris silently
- 52:20Speaker 1: because I cared about her more. I didn't flirt, I
- 52:23Speaker 1: didn't confess. I just wrote it down in private, and
- 52:26Speaker 1: that privacy the only safe place I had to process
- 52:28Speaker 1: the pain. And she violated it. She found what I
- 52:32Speaker 1: had spent months trying to contain and somehow made me
- 52:35Speaker 1: the bad friend. I told her I should be the
- 52:37Speaker 1: one who's angry my one private space, and honestly, what
- 52:41Speaker 1: did she expect to find when you open Pandora's When
- 52:43Speaker 1: you open Pandora's box fairy dust? I could tell she
- 52:48Speaker 1: had a lot to say, maybe she deserved to say it,
- 52:50Speaker 1: but I didn't let her. I shut it down and
- 52:52Speaker 1: just walked out, just like that. It's been a week
- 52:55Speaker 1: now and we haven't spoken since. Fuck me.
- 53:01Speaker 2: Another tough one. I mean, hey, I guess love is
- 53:07Speaker 2: love is love.
- 53:09Speaker 1: But she did everything right. What do you do in
- 53:12Speaker 1: the scenario.
- 53:14Speaker 2: You did everything that I would have said is what
- 53:17Speaker 2: you should do in this situation.
- 53:19Speaker 1: And so now.
- 53:26Speaker 2: I just is there any coming back from this? Her
- 53:30Speaker 2: best friend's lost her trust. I actually think that girl,
- 53:41Speaker 2: this is just like one of those moments where this
- 53:46Speaker 2: was out of your control. Like you you did everything
- 53:48Speaker 2: to control it. You did everything you possibly could control it, right,
- 53:52Speaker 2: but you have to just take a step back and
- 53:55Speaker 2: be like, I know I did everything I could. Right now,
- 54:03Speaker 2: you just have to accept the fact that you're in
- 54:08Speaker 2: love with your best friend's boyfriend. The only thing, the
- 54:11Speaker 2: only outlet you had because you didn't tell a soul
- 54:13Speaker 2: was your diary. She read your diary, which she shouldn't have,
- 54:18Speaker 2: right she definite shouldn't have ignorance is bliss.
- 54:20Speaker 1: Ah And then.
- 54:23Speaker 2: Yeah that's like and she she was upset about it, right, Yeah.
- 54:28Speaker 2: I just think that if it was me, it would
- 54:34Speaker 2: just be like a like literally what do you want
- 54:38Speaker 2: to do?
- 54:38Speaker 1: Type of thing?
- 54:39Speaker 2: Like if it was me and you, I would literally
- 54:41Speaker 2: just be like okay, Like I get you're mad. I
- 54:44Speaker 2: fully get it. You think I want to feel this,
- 54:46Speaker 2: you don't think it fucking hurts me as well? Like
- 54:49Speaker 2: genuinely tell me what you want and I will do that.
- 54:53Speaker 2: I don't I don't give a fuck. Okay, I would
- 54:55Speaker 2: just be like, literally, it is now happened. None of
- 55:00Speaker 2: this situation is good. Just you tell me what you.
- 55:04Speaker 1: Think should happen. I don't mind that.
- 55:07Speaker 2: And if it was like you don't want to be
- 55:08Speaker 2: friends somewhere, I'd be like, fair, yeah, I'm maybe I
- 55:10Speaker 2: probably wouldn't want to either, And you have to be
- 55:12Speaker 2: ready to accept that. Yeah, Like there is nothing else
- 55:16Speaker 2: I can think that would that would make this situation
- 55:18Speaker 2: because like, no apology, nothing like I.
- 55:20Speaker 1: Don't think you should apologize for anything. I just you
- 55:22Speaker 1: can't help her, you feel.
- 55:26Speaker 2: If you were in love with Beth, I just feel
- 55:27Speaker 2: bad for you. Yeah, I would feel bad. I'd be like, yeah,
- 55:31Speaker 2: I would just feel bad because it's also.
- 55:33Speaker 1: I found it when I was reading it slightly weird.
- 55:36Speaker 1: So she met this man and then weeks months later
- 55:40Speaker 1: ran into him again, and the friend introduced her as
- 55:42Speaker 1: a boyfriend. So she said, no, my best friend. So
- 55:45Speaker 1: but if you started talking to a girl, say Beth
- 55:47Speaker 1: back in the day, and like you went on one day,
- 55:50Speaker 1: I would have known about the first day just to
- 55:51Speaker 1: begin with.
- 55:53Speaker 2: I wish we knew that. Yeah, but also.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I would have been like, oh, I've been crushing
- 55:56Speaker 1: on before you went on it, like fucking I've been
- 55:58Speaker 1: crushing on her for like six months, dude.
- 56:00Speaker 2: Yeah, and you would have been like, I'm not going
- 56:01Speaker 2: on it, but we have this thing. I did see
- 56:03Speaker 2: a dilemma that I might choose.
- 56:05Speaker 1: I'll choose.
- 56:05Speaker 2: One week someone did say something about there. It's also
- 56:13Speaker 2: I believe it's in the Facebook group. Someone was just like, oh,
- 56:16Speaker 2: you know you guys, like someone said that having they
- 56:22Speaker 2: have they have, we have a friendship that they want
- 56:24Speaker 2: like you and I. Yeah, because it's like we are
- 56:29Speaker 2: like loyal to a fault in the sense where let's
- 56:32Speaker 2: just say I did date a girl and then six
- 56:33Speaker 2: months later and like you knew I dated the girl
- 56:37Speaker 2: right when I one day with the girl, you knew
- 56:39Speaker 2: I liked her, but then it just didn't happen. So
- 56:40Speaker 2: then it's like, then six months later you bump into
- 56:43Speaker 2: her and just so happen you really like her as well,
- 56:45Speaker 2: and you'd be like, even if you had like the
- 56:49Speaker 2: sixth connection with her, you're loyal to a fault where
- 56:51Speaker 2: you wouldn't let anything happen even though it could be
- 56:54Speaker 2: something really really good off limits. Yeah, Like we picture
- 56:58Speaker 2: it as off limits from the start, like we wouldn't
- 57:01Speaker 2: let it get that far, but people.
- 57:02Speaker 1: Do and it's weird.
- 57:04Speaker 2: I guess it's how you taking away from this dilemma
- 57:08Speaker 2: view like your friend's relationships, Like Beth is, I would
- 57:13Speaker 2: consider it a sister to me.
- 57:14Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, like that's how you see it. That's how
- 57:16Speaker 1: I see her, like, whereas some people don't think that
- 57:20Speaker 1: at all. They might think they have a breakup. That's
- 57:23Speaker 1: my chance, like shit like that bro.
- 57:28Speaker 2: Around here, Yeah, the central fucking Coast bro of Australia.
- 57:34Speaker 1: Bro, I dare say, it's not within our own friend group.
- 57:39Speaker 1: It's insane. Oh the overlaps, I'm glad I had one
- 57:45Speaker 1: see it happened.
- 57:46Speaker 2: Not even the overlaps, it's more of even just.
- 57:49Speaker 1: The the fucking throw someone under a bus, like to
- 57:54Speaker 1: throw someone on the bus, the the.
- 57:59Speaker 2: You know, someone breaks up with their girlfriend and one
- 58:02Speaker 2: of their friends messages them two weeks later like yeah,
- 58:06Speaker 2: that type of shit. The amount of stories I've heard
- 58:08Speaker 2: about that with from outside our friend group, but also
- 58:12Speaker 2: within our friend group, and you just think the amount
- 58:16Speaker 2: of times I just thought, what the fuck are they doing.
- 58:18Speaker 1: Yeah, Oh, it's yeah.
- 58:20Speaker 2: When you grew up in a small town too.
- 58:22Speaker 1: I guess it's not healthy at all. But you're mentally
- 58:27Speaker 1: capped with relationships. You think that the people you went
- 58:31Speaker 1: to school with or that group of friends you hang
- 58:33Speaker 1: out friends you hang out with, is the only people
- 58:35Speaker 1: you can get with. Even though my best friends dated
- 58:37Speaker 1: are six months ago.
- 58:38Speaker 2: It's fucking ridiculous, dude, Beth said to me, well talking
- 58:42Speaker 2: about this, Yeah, she said, of all the boyfriends she's
- 58:47Speaker 2: had in the past, not a single one of them
- 58:50Speaker 2: knew any of her friends before they started dating. Right,
- 58:55Speaker 2: just because Sydney just has so many people.
- 58:57Speaker 1: She grew up in THEAE. Everyone knows everyone. It's different
- 59:01Speaker 1: a and it is interesting. That's an interesting dynamic, Like
- 59:05Speaker 1: it's fucking insane. Another word. We talked about a lot
- 59:07Speaker 1: of problems today. Well, I want to finish on. I
- 59:10Speaker 1: want to reiterate to the Baddy who sent this in.
- 59:12Speaker 1: You did absolutely nothing wrong. Yeah, easier said than done,
- 59:15Speaker 1: but you did nothing wrong. So I know it's hard
- 59:20Speaker 1: to deal with the love you have towards your friend's
- 59:22Speaker 1: boyfriend and now she's betrayed your trust. But if you
- 59:27Speaker 1: can just go about your life. I can say to that, Look,
- 59:29Speaker 1: I did everything right. I'm sorry for how I feel
- 59:33Speaker 1: you betrayed my trust.
- 59:35Speaker 2: What do you want me to do in this scenario?
- 59:36Speaker 2: Is the best option here?
- 59:37Speaker 1: Yeah, And it is way easier said than done, because
- 59:41Speaker 1: you did everything right. If you can just move on
- 59:43Speaker 1: and go about your day and be like you just
- 59:45Speaker 1: have to accept it, like your friendship is going.
- 59:46Speaker 2: To be over for a little bit or forever, well,
- 59:49Speaker 2: she fucking ruined. She trust is the hardest thing to
- 59:51Speaker 2: regain it, she fucking said. It probably says diary on it.
- 59:53Speaker 2: It's so I honestly, I've got to say I'm fully
- 59:58Speaker 2: on your side in this situation, Like I do see
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: why your friend is mad, but at the same time
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: she would But I think I do think that the
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: fact she went through your private shit, it's worse than
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: the fact that you've been hiding love for her boys
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: And it's not like you've kissed him or anything. You've
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: had thoughts you've had and also you distance yourself.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: You kept it quiet like it's hard, and you didn't.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: You tried to get rid of it, you tried not
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: to do it.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: She she is, your friend has done a terrible. Yeah,
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: fucked that best Friend is bad is before I read
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: the comments, I want you to go and I want
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: you to put five stars as a rating on this
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: episode from whatever platform you're listening on.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: And because if you don't.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: Have the cash to cough up for Patreon, if we
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: get to ten thousand and five star reviews before one
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: thousand Patreon members one thousand paid Patreon members, I should
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: say we would do a live show for that as well.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: We are at six thousand.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: It also goes a long way more and you know,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: so far everyone listening right now five start it would
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: hit ten k okay, which would really appreciate because it
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: does go so far. Analytically, everyone listening right now five
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: started with more than quick it would be insane. So
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: if you just press it, it's free to do and
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: it helps, like our business side of things out so much.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: And also, okay, say, if you listen and you think
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: it wasn't five stars, you would be doing us a
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: favor genuinely by giving it whatever stars you think it deserves,
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: but then writing why you think it deserves that genuinely, like,
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: because then we can read it and we could be like, okay,
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: so there's something we can grow on.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: You could have gone two ways there, being Jake, I
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: thought you were going to say, if you don't think
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: it's five stars, don't listen, no one. Growth. Yeah, that's good,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: healthier growth. Yeah, okay, I got I got YouTube comments.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: Pink Cheetah sixty three said, cassieing in the sheets just
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: you boys weight Oh shit, because we were talking about
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: restand in the streets casting in the sheets, and then
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: we were like, we don't know what he's.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Like in the sheets yet we just found out how
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: he's like in battle. I can only imagine him in
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: the sheets.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: Man. If he's as good in the sheets as he
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: is at fighting.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: Yes, fuck, that's crazy all right? I got Juju on
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: the beat. Love the podcast the only thing getting me
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: through my ship Internship in Brackets, which I'm quitting this week. Xoxo.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Yes, we're all about quitting jobs, be blessed. I'm all
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: about leaving something.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: I think, why the it's about doing enjoy.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: Dobby smiles, one of these names said, I guess I
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: have been living a lie because I've always thought it's
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: Jake and are the relatables party not potty? People have
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: said that to me before to be fair, imagine that
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: we're fucking nick. This is a party egoistical, are we?
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: I suppose potty in the way we say it.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Party body is very Australia and we would say party
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: like yeah, party.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: I understand, lazy. Yeah, all right, Samantha Pearl said, shameless plug.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I'm a seamstress and just started a service called it
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: has Pockets. Where are sewing pockets in garments that don't
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: have them at stitched Co dot sewing? Fucking hey, there's
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: a gap in the market. I appreciate the out. All right,
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: it's time to call a baddie. And we tried calling
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: this one last week and she didn't pick up. But
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: we've texted her and she's ready. The problem with this
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: is we called a few batties last week. I can't
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: I didn't. I don't save their numbers. So I'm thinking
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: her name Sam, So we're going to go over it
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: for real. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's Sam. I'mbout ninety
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: percent short sands. We've got the shp right here. But
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: can we wing it? That's ridiculous. No, what we need
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: to know our name. I'm pretty sure it's Sam.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: Okay, I want you we don't. When she answers, I
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: want you to say, is this.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: Who we think it is? Because I thought it was Zoe?
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: Oh ship?
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: Where did Sam come? I'm pretty sure Sam a Zoey?
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: You reckon? Zoe? Do you want to check the sheet?
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: Or do you want to say?
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: But I also didn't tick him off? Right?
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Well, what's the number?
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: No? I wasn't that set.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: It was a little one.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: Oh oh, that little one's gone.
