- 0:00Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 0:04Speaker 2: So we mentioned about the guy who's on death row
- 0:07Speaker 2: set to be executed in Alabama. He didn't even kill anybody,
- 0:12Speaker 2: but he was part of a robbery of an AutoZone
- 0:15Speaker 2: where a customer got killed. And so it's basically by
- 0:20Speaker 2: you know, guilt by association because he was part of
- 0:22Speaker 2: that whole thing. He did go in there, he had
- 0:24Speaker 2: a gun. He was the guy who went back to
- 0:26Speaker 2: the safe in the back room and got all the stuff
- 0:28Speaker 2: and then he ran out of the store and was
- 0:29Speaker 2: waiting by the getaway car while one of his other
- 0:32Speaker 2: guys that is with his accomplish you know, end up
- 0:36Speaker 2: shooting this this customer in the back and killing him.
- 0:39Speaker 2: So it's a you know, a law I guess they're
- 0:43Speaker 2: in Alabama that if you are just part of it,
- 0:46Speaker 2: you could be charged with the same crime as the
- 0:51Speaker 2: the person who pulled the trigger. Now this worries me
- 0:55Speaker 2: because I don't want to be associated or part of
- 1:00Speaker 2: what's happening in Gina's neighborhood.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Yeah, well, you know, because your neighborhood go.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Right on the street. That's not my side of the neighborhood.
- 1:10Speaker 4: It's it's farther.
- 1:11Speaker 3: I heard your thirty seconds from each other.
- 1:14Speaker 2: That's the other side. She's on the down side of
- 1:18Speaker 2: the hill.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Yeah, on the upper part of the hill.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm saying said that.
- 1:27Speaker 4: I'm saying side the hill.
- 1:30Speaker 3: It's the other side of the city or.
- 1:32Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no, Like you know, this is my block,
- 1:34Speaker 2: this is your block. You know, people have their territories,
- 1:37Speaker 2: you know what I mean.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Street.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Yeah, So if you remember her step son has this bike,
- 1:43Speaker 2: first time he's ever had like a real you know,
- 1:45Speaker 2: like a real bike, and so he's like all about it,
- 1:47Speaker 2: and he and the other kids in the neighborhood they
- 1:49Speaker 2: started a bicycle gang as they called it. Yeah, and
- 1:52Speaker 2: they've named themselves the Puking Scorpions. Yeah, and I legit.
- 1:58Speaker 2: I thought it was really cute and funny, and so
- 1:59Speaker 2: I I had these patches made up. Remember, So I
- 2:04Speaker 2: had I had a logo made up, and I had
- 2:07Speaker 2: the logo sent over to the patch people. They made
- 2:09Speaker 2: the patches. They made a whole bunch of them. I
- 2:11Speaker 2: gave the geno game the Stepstone who handed them out.
- 2:14Speaker 2: They had initiations with all the other people of the
- 2:17Speaker 2: Puking Scorpions.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Do you remember what the initiation is or you have
- 2:23Speaker 4: to be able to jump the curb, Papa wheelly and
- 2:27Speaker 4: quote burn rubber burn.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Rubber Oh, I thought they like cut their hands and.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and on the patches says ride or spew. That's
- 2:35Speaker 2: pretty funny. Yeah, yeah, anyway, so that was that was
- 2:38Speaker 2: the That was the extent of my involvement, just for
- 2:41Speaker 2: public record, for puking scorpions. Put that out there, because
- 2:45Speaker 2: I don't want to be by association with what's going
- 2:48Speaker 2: on here.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:49Speaker 4: Well, you they are getting a little out of hand.
- 2:53Speaker 4: First of all, there's talk of Jeane jackets now, and
- 2:56Speaker 4: I think that for gangs. Yeah, I think so.
- 2:58Speaker 2: My mom says it wasn't.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Yeah, they want to take their patches off their hoodies
- 3:03Speaker 4: and put on Jean jackets, so you know they're serious.
- 3:05Speaker 4: But we got our first neighbor complaint because of the
- 3:08Speaker 4: puking scorpions. Apparently problem they're causing havoc. They're okay to
- 3:16Speaker 4: a couple of things. First of all, they're riding up
- 3:19Speaker 4: and down people's driveways and apparently a lot of I'm
- 3:23Speaker 4: not I'm a first time homeowner. Apparently a lot of
- 3:25Speaker 4: homeowners don't like that.
- 3:26Speaker 2: We as kids would zip in and out you can.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, they do that, and some people are not
- 3:32Speaker 4: happy because sometimes they kind of cut a little bit
- 3:34Speaker 4: and they like ride a little bit on the grass. Yeah,
- 3:38Speaker 4: that's an issue.
- 3:39Speaker 2: We would hate that also, you absolutely would.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Also, one of them taught my kid a trick and
- 3:47Speaker 4: now they're all doing it of you take a water
- 3:49Speaker 4: bottle and you empty it and you put it you
- 3:52Speaker 4: like kind of wedge it by the back wheel. So
- 3:56Speaker 4: the noise it's loud. So when they're they're.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Going like, yeah, you used to do that with mulltyball card.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Yeah exactly, Yeah, with like with the baseball cards, but
- 4:03Speaker 4: this is way louder.
- 4:04Speaker 1: So they're terrorizing, noise complaints people's driveway.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Yes, you can see. I don't. I'm not going to
- 4:11Speaker 2: jail for this.
- 4:14Speaker 4: You'res This isn't the first impression we were trying to make.
- 4:17Speaker 2: I'm the old head of the group.
- 4:20Speaker 4: Exactly. But that kind of doesn't that kind of make
- 4:22Speaker 4: you responsible?
- 4:24Speaker 2: No, yeah, because I was encouraged it. I wasn't aware
- 4:27Speaker 2: of this behavior, abilion. No, I wasn't part of any meeting.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Nobody came to your house knocking on the door and
- 4:33Speaker 4: yelling at you.
- 4:34Speaker 2: That's right.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Well, they do have their meetings every Friday after school.
- 4:37Speaker 4: Where have you been?
- 4:38Speaker 2: They do? Yes, did you have a meeting right after
- 4:42Speaker 2: and they discuss what well.
- 4:44Speaker 4: If you listen to our ring doorball cam, it is titilating.
- 4:48Speaker 4: What's your favorite Nirvana song? My mom likes Nirvana? Hey, guys,
- 4:53Speaker 4: I could sing the Sublime song without the radio.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Edits know what. That's way cooler than what I was expecting.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Like poke, it could be way worse because.
- 5:01Speaker 4: They also talk about Pokemon too sometimes, but it's mostly music.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Yeah, but those bands in particular, it's way better than that.
- 5:08Speaker 2: And one of them garbage there.
- 5:10Speaker 4: One of them can ride. I don't really understand it,
- 5:12Speaker 4: like you. He he sits on the seat and he
- 5:15Speaker 4: puts both his legs up on like the bar, and
- 5:19Speaker 4: he like does like a bunch of like twists and
- 5:22Speaker 4: turns and he's so he's like slowly he's climbing the
- 5:25Speaker 4: ranks because he was at the bottom and now I
- 5:27Speaker 4: think he's working his way up.
- 5:28Speaker 2: He's the Grand Wizard.
- 5:34Speaker 4: You know.
- 5:35Speaker 2: That's a different group in town.
- 5:38Speaker 4: Somebody did come to our door. They came to our
- 5:41Speaker 4: door and complained and they said that they were speaking
- 5:43Speaker 4: for other people on the street as well, So everybody exactly.
- 5:49Speaker 2: With the water bottle. Though it's laughing.
- 5:53Speaker 4: They think it's cool and it's I'm like, can't you
- 5:56Speaker 4: smell that it's doing something? It's fine? Like and we
- 6:00Speaker 4: tell him every time and I but I tell him
- 6:02Speaker 4: every time he does a trick. Do you think you're
- 6:04Speaker 4: getting a new bike if you mess this up? This
- 6:07Speaker 4: is the bike.
- 6:07Speaker 2: You're not going to mess the bike up? The bike up.
- 6:11Speaker 3: We used to do ghost riding where you please jump
- 6:15Speaker 3: off the bike and then the bike just kept on
- 6:17Speaker 3: you could see how.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Far as it goes. Yeah, yeah, we didn't jump off it.
- 6:22Speaker 2: We would like take it and like run to run
- 6:24Speaker 2: aside it, beside it, holding the handlebars and then the
- 6:27Speaker 2: seat and then letting it go and to see how
- 6:29Speaker 2: far it could go. Yeah. Yeah, like we weren't riding
- 6:33Speaker 2: it and jumping off of it.
- 6:34Speaker 4: But yeah, where were you expecting it to stop?
- 6:37Speaker 2: It was like a distance contest, like, well, who can
- 6:39Speaker 2: get their bike to go further before it falls over?
- 6:42Speaker 4: Yeah, but wouldn't it like hit another car maybe.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Depending on what area that's eience because guess what, guess
- 6:50Speaker 1: what talk about old people.
- 6:52Speaker 4: I'm sorry, but like get over it. So one of
- 6:55Speaker 4: them said, this used to be a quiet street.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Well you live in a suburban neighborhood that where all
- 7:00Speaker 2: the families move. Yeah. Yeah, if you wanted that kind
- 7:03Speaker 2: of thing, you should have gone to like the fifty
- 7:04Speaker 2: five plus community or live somewhere cooler. If I didn't
- 7:07Speaker 2: have kids, I wouldn't live where we live, I know,
- 7:09Speaker 2: but I do. I wouldn't. I wouldn't live there, would neither.
- 7:11Speaker 3: So you were saying that the drama started when you
- 7:13Speaker 3: moved in.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Ge Yes, well yes, but but what he definitely fan
- 7:19Speaker 4: the flames. I mean, you got them patches that bolden them.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Now they think there's somebody.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Yeah, well we'll take them away. What if I got
- 7:28Speaker 2: them a case of like silly string or something? Do
- 7:31Speaker 2: they know where this neighbor lives?
- 7:33Speaker 4: We are part of nature way. Do you want our
- 7:35Speaker 4: house taken?
- 7:36Speaker 2: Do you do you know where this neighbor lives?
- 7:39Speaker 4: Okay, you want to do that.
- 7:40Speaker 2: It'd be a real shame if the kids got a
- 7:42Speaker 2: hold of your address in a case of silly string.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Or the dried instant potatoes.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Yes, sprinklers go off.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a good one.
- 7:55Speaker 2: And we are eating to another new hour insensitivity training
- 8:01Speaker 2: for a politically correct world on Woody that's Greg Gory.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I would we got menace? What h we got Gina
- 8:07Speaker 2: gram Sea Bass is here, Yeah, Sammy, Hello, you got Morgan?
- 8:12Speaker 2: Phones are open eight seven seven forty four Woodie text
- 8:17Speaker 2: over to two to nine eighty seven finals. Following us
- 8:19Speaker 2: on social media, look forst there at the Woody Show.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Seed Bass is a man who likes a good project,
- 8:26Speaker 2: and he's, uh, he's constantly up to something. And he
- 8:32Speaker 2: was talking about recently there was something with his his bank.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Right, we trying to starting a new account for and yeah.
- 8:40Speaker 2: For the specific reason which he said went back to
- 8:42Speaker 2: some project that he was working on. And he said
- 8:45Speaker 2: months and months and months ago that eventually he'd be
- 8:48Speaker 2: able to tell us what he was up to. Well
- 8:50Speaker 2: that day is today. Seas has made wow what he
- 8:54Speaker 2: has called in saying that tell him a major announcement.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Oh major, Well, all.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Right, it is a major announcement. I can finally say
- 9:03Speaker 3: that I was this entire time going through all the forms,
- 9:06Speaker 3: doing all the paperwork, planning, submitting everything to actually seriously
- 9:12Speaker 3: run to be a member of the city council. So,
- 9:17Speaker 3: for instance, the bank account they require certain forms with
- 9:20Speaker 3: the state you have to file, and that is you
- 9:22Speaker 3: have to file that with your bank account and get
- 9:24Speaker 3: a bank.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Account number from them.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Blah blah blah bah bah.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Where is it enough time going around cutting off bike
- 9:28Speaker 2: locks and taking all the streets the trash shoot at
- 9:33Speaker 2: the apartment building.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Official talk about all the time. Yeah, be about it.
- 9:37Speaker 3: I haven't been about it. This is going to be
- 9:39Speaker 3: the next level of being about it. And actually no
- 9:42Speaker 3: one caught it. But my name was listed in the
- 9:44Speaker 3: paper a couple of times. It's like pre qualified who
- 9:47Speaker 3: reads exactly, So no one picked up on it. There
- 9:50Speaker 3: were no no, no sneaky little you know you're for.
- 9:53Speaker 2: City council, right, I was saying.
- 9:55Speaker 3: The the last step of that is to have enough petitions,
- 9:59Speaker 3: not signatures, have your petition to be officially nominated. How
- 10:02Speaker 3: I mean does that take five hundred signatures now.
- 10:05Speaker 2: That you have to gather yourself?
- 10:07Speaker 3: Well, no, if you anytime you go outside, you go
- 10:09Speaker 3: to the grocery store, you see the guy out there
- 10:10Speaker 3: at the signature. That's that's a lot of what they're doing.
- 10:13Speaker 3: And so there are companies that do this for you.
- 10:15Speaker 3: And I said, okay, I'll get one of these companies
- 10:17Speaker 3: looked one up. They seem to have a decent reputation.
- 10:19Speaker 3: They've been listed as a reference and a lot.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Of places costs to have somebody do that.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Well, in this case it was in low four figures.
- 10:26Speaker 3: So over ten thousand dollars.
- 10:29Speaker 4: What that's crazy?
- 10:30Speaker 2: Well, because are you serious?
- 10:33Speaker 3: Done? Yeah? Send me a minute out there. Well, that's
- 10:37Speaker 3: the thing is I really should have now that I've
- 10:38Speaker 3: done it once.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Five hundred Yeah, easy, five hundred signatures.
- 10:42Speaker 3: I know how many those do you think you could get?
- 10:44Speaker 2: I don't know what easily twenty five an hour? Wait? Wait, wait,
- 10:49Speaker 2: So if you're running for city council, do all these
- 10:52Speaker 2: signatures have to come from that district to their district? Right?
- 10:55Speaker 2: So that's more's more of a challenge.
- 10:57Speaker 3: And so they give you you have to go in
- 10:58Speaker 3: and it's smart to go and they'll give you a
- 11:00Speaker 3: voter registration if you go to this this city board
- 11:03Speaker 3: or the city whatever the thing it is.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Uh, And so you should probably a city council person.
- 11:07Speaker 3: The city blah blah blah. And so then you you
- 11:11Speaker 3: can cross reference, like, oh, did this match? Because you
- 11:12Speaker 3: don't want to show up with a billion signatures, and
- 11:14Speaker 3: they disqualify a ton of ways every week found right right,
- 11:18Speaker 3: And so I did all that and they they said, okay,
- 11:22Speaker 3: we're going to have those signatures ready for you. Because
- 11:24Speaker 3: it was a tight window. It's like less than a
- 11:25Speaker 3: month I had to do all this. They said, okay,
- 11:27Speaker 3: we've got I met the guy turned out after the fact.
- 11:30Speaker 3: He found out because he's like, well, what sort of
- 11:32Speaker 3: a because he wanted some background in so what have
- 11:35Speaker 3: you done?
- 11:35Speaker 2: That?
- 11:35Speaker 3: Like, I could tell people would be good the shows
- 11:37Speaker 3: because I ran. I was listed as a public safety
- 11:40Speaker 3: advocate and I was able to They make you. You
- 11:44Speaker 3: can't just say I'm a power ranger. They make you.
- 11:46Speaker 3: It's like the city attorney says, you have to give
- 11:48Speaker 3: us proof.
- 11:49Speaker 2: And so I cited.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Cartnerks and you know, well because because as the CARTNERK.
- 11:55Speaker 3: But I use it as for my public safety advocacy
- 11:57Speaker 3: because there.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Are a lot of people. That's so funny. Man. We'll
- 12:00Speaker 2: be out talking to people and every once in a while,
- 12:04Speaker 2: the oh, so what do you do? And I go,
- 12:05Speaker 2: I talk about what we do, and I talk about
- 12:08Speaker 2: the show, and they go, oh, so, yeah, have you
- 12:11Speaker 2: ever heard of this guy? And they say cart And
- 12:13Speaker 2: I said, yeah, I said, that's he's one of my producers.
- 12:15Speaker 2: That's that's it. That's a bit on our show, right,
- 12:18Speaker 2: And so that's that's where that's where the whole thing started.
- 12:20Speaker 2: You know, it's taking a whole life of its own.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Understand that it's so many people marketable. But I'm just
- 12:26Speaker 2: saying as a safe way of like going through this
- 12:30Speaker 2: process without any like you know, know, well.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Because the meds is sitting at is by being on
- 12:37Speaker 3: anything political, automatically fifty percent of the people are gonna
- 12:40Speaker 3: hate you.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Yeah. Sure.
- 12:41Speaker 3: The good part of this though, is that for this
- 12:43Speaker 3: city council race, these are non partisan, meaning you don't
- 12:45Speaker 3: have to declare a party you are by you can
- 12:49Speaker 3: people do, but I didn't.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Okay. So the thing with the cards, though, the vast
- 12:54Speaker 2: majority of people, overwhelming majority agree with this, are on
- 12:58Speaker 2: board with the idea of carduks and putting the cards
- 13:00Speaker 2: back until they get caught, until they get caught. But
- 13:02Speaker 2: like overalls, but if you don't think that would be
- 13:04Speaker 2: I think that would be a positive thing to get
- 13:06Speaker 2: people to support it. I'm thinking, Man, if somebody just
- 13:09Speaker 2: approached me outside of a grocery store, I'm not signing
- 13:11Speaker 2: anything like what would be the motivation, you know, like
- 13:14Speaker 2: why would especially if it's some rando, like if it's
- 13:16Speaker 2: one thing to like, you know, cause or whatever you like,
- 13:19Speaker 2: whatever you're petitioning force like a particular law or like that. Maybe,
- 13:23Speaker 2: but like just from some of the guy that you've
- 13:25Speaker 2: never heard of, and I've never signed any of that crap.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Every I walked right past those people. But you're not
- 13:29Speaker 2: You're not considering old people who have nothing better to do.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Now here's the thing. So U he because he was saying,
- 13:34Speaker 2: so what can I tell people? I was like, well,
- 13:35Speaker 2: I did this thing called cart narks and he your Sebastian.
- 13:41Speaker 2: So the guy that I talked to, like, they're local
- 13:43Speaker 2: because I hired the company nationally. They send this guy
- 13:46Speaker 2: out locally. Did he give you a deal because you're
- 13:48Speaker 2: a celebrity.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Well, he can't make those deals unfortunately, because he was
- 13:51Speaker 3: just a local guy. Uh So they get me. So
- 13:53Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, I need to show up with all
- 13:55Speaker 3: these five hundred signatures and you have to set up
- 13:58Speaker 3: a meeting at the city hall and blah blah blah
- 13:59Speaker 3: blah bl three four days out, Like hey, guys, I've
- 14:02Speaker 3: really love to get this done sooner rather than later.
- 14:04Speaker 3: There's no surprises, you know, like, Okay, we just need
- 14:06Speaker 3: one more night. We'll see you in the morning, next morning,
- 14:10Speaker 3: we need this one more afternoon. This goes on until
- 14:13Speaker 3: the last day. Oh man, four or five times back
- 14:17Speaker 3: and forth. We'll meet you at city Hall at three
- 14:20Speaker 3: pm or two by five, three pm rolls around. Okay,
- 14:24Speaker 3: I'm head of there. Well are you guys gonna be there?
- 14:27Speaker 3: We only have four hundred and sixty signatures. So and
- 14:32Speaker 3: they're like, you still want to meet What the hell?
- 14:35Speaker 2: Yeah, so question if they don't come through with the
- 14:39Speaker 2: five hundred signatures, do you still owe them the money?
- 14:41Speaker 3: Well, they got prepaid. That's part now, however, and it's
- 14:45Speaker 3: you know, it's in the courses in the contract. We
- 14:47Speaker 3: can't guarante blahlahlahlah blah blah blah blah. But there are
- 14:49Speaker 3: other things in that contract. Other like they give like
- 14:52Speaker 3: we're gonna meet certain benchmarks and do certain reporting. None
- 14:55Speaker 3: of that ever happened. So this might be a pivot
- 14:59Speaker 3: for sea Bess's first run at City Council, which never
- 15:02Speaker 3: get off the ground. To sea Bess's first small claims losses. Wait,
- 15:07Speaker 3: so you're officially burned now because because it's it's it's
- 15:10Speaker 3: not it's not. Well, if you get four hundred and fifty,
- 15:12Speaker 3: we'll get you to know. It's it's all or nothing.
- 15:15Speaker 3: And then the time periods officially, and it was a
- 15:17Speaker 3: tight time period, so they didn't, right they didn't. It
- 15:20Speaker 3: wasn't like, oh they're not get because if they if
- 15:22Speaker 3: it had been like a weekend and they said only
- 15:23Speaker 3: got one hundred signature or something, I would have had
- 15:25Speaker 3: to run out there and do something, because this is
- 15:27Speaker 3: they strung me along to the really the last minute.
- 15:30Speaker 3: I had no way of now talking to other company.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Bass.
- 15:34Speaker 3: This is a lesson. I know you're kind of against this.
- 15:37Speaker 3: I am learning lesson, yes, but this is when you
- 15:40Speaker 3: should talk to your coworkers that we would have helped
- 15:42Speaker 3: you out. I'm not going to have you guys. I
- 15:44Speaker 3: know you wanted it to be a surprise, but I'm
- 15:46Speaker 3: not going to like what. First off, no offense. I
- 15:47Speaker 3: appreciate the thought, manace, but what does anyone in here
- 15:49Speaker 3: know about gathering spignature? Yeah, I don't know how I
- 15:52Speaker 3: would have figured it out easily. I thought I figured
- 15:54Speaker 3: it out too, because I went to a company that
- 15:55Speaker 3: does this figure? Somebody else handle it for you?
- 15:58Speaker 2: But why was it so last minute?
- 16:00Speaker 3: It yeah, because it's it's it wasn't less well because again,
- 16:03Speaker 3: you have less than a month to do this. I
- 16:04Speaker 3: got the hit them up the day of. They got
- 16:07Speaker 3: back to me and they had enough time.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Okay, So now that you have the four hundred and sixty,
- 16:11Speaker 2: that can't like carry on to next year like you
- 16:13Speaker 2: get four four next year.
- 16:15Speaker 4: You can start it.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Well, it wouldn't be next year, It'll be four more years.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Okay, damn oh really wow?
- 16:21Speaker 3: Yeah, now there's no now in the I could move
- 16:23Speaker 3: to a different district and do it in two years,
- 16:25Speaker 3: which I might to.
- 16:26Speaker 2: But wait, didn't you because it wasn't part of this
- 16:29Speaker 2: whole thing. That didn't you move just to be in
- 16:32Speaker 2: this district?
- 16:33Speaker 3: I moved. I've lived in this district for three four
- 16:37Speaker 3: years now, but I couldn't move out of the district.
- 16:39Speaker 3: So when I was talking this is this came up
- 16:41Speaker 3: another clue for you folks. When I was moving to
- 16:43Speaker 3: my most recent place, I mentioned that I had to
- 16:46Speaker 3: stay close to where I already lived for that project. Yes,
- 16:49Speaker 3: for the project, yeah, running for so you're not running
- 16:52Speaker 3: for city? I was I paid a lot of a
- 16:55Speaker 3: lot of money, so it had you run and had
- 16:58Speaker 3: you won, would what's the hours of that?
- 17:01Speaker 2: Is it a full time job?
- 17:02Speaker 3: Is it? Okay? That's interesting this particular in most cities,
- 17:07Speaker 3: it's it's a thirty forty five thousand dollars a year job.
- 17:10Speaker 3: And there's like five of these, and it's it's it's
- 17:12Speaker 3: designed to be nights and weekends sort of thing. In
- 17:14Speaker 3: the city I was running, they explicitly declared a full
- 17:18Speaker 3: time job. The total pay and benefits is about two
- 17:21Speaker 3: hundred and forty five thousand O god, and they have
- 17:24Speaker 3: about fifteen of these city. Because the city I'm running
- 17:27Speaker 3: in is a large, bloated bureaucracy of moros.
- 17:30Speaker 4: You get a quarter of a mill on top of.
- 17:33Speaker 3: The mayor getting another three hundred and fifty something thousand dollars. Yeah, man,
- 17:36Speaker 3: and any people wonder why it's expensive to live in
- 17:38Speaker 3: this city because the bureaucrats suck up all the cash,
- 17:41Speaker 3: which would have been one of my things.
- 17:42Speaker 2: I was running.
- 17:43Speaker 1: On seas with this possible lawsuit, did you spend more
- 17:51Speaker 1: than twelve thousan five hundred dollars because that's the limit in.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Right, Well, this small claims the place where this company
- 17:59Speaker 3: because I actually did help with my lawyer, mister Ai,
- 18:02Speaker 3: and they suggested suing this company because they're based in
- 18:04Speaker 3: a different state in their home state. Because they've built
- 18:07Speaker 3: a smaller they have a larger small claims limited that state.
- 18:10Speaker 3: It's easier to serve people in their home states, and
- 18:12Speaker 3: then you're gonna have to go there back. Potentially not
- 18:16Speaker 3: because thanks to the plandemic, there's a lot of online
- 18:18Speaker 3: sort of small claim stuff these days. Now. They did
- 18:21Speaker 3: offer to refund me the administrative fees, which is about
- 18:24Speaker 3: twenty percent or so, I say, And that's what I say.
- 18:28Speaker 3: It's gonna cost me one hundred something bucks if I
- 18:30Speaker 3: choose to sue them. I can't say any right now
- 18:32Speaker 3: obviously her legal purposes. And I probably should have said
- 18:35Speaker 3: anything until I got that check on the refund or
- 18:38Speaker 3: the partial refund. But yeah, it's I'm very confident there
- 18:43Speaker 3: is a great degree of negligence.
- 18:45Speaker 2: And what about that caveat that says we don't guarantee.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Well, because but that's true. If it was just that
- 18:50Speaker 3: flat caveat, I would agree with you, Greg, But there's
- 18:52Speaker 3: a like I said, they have a bunch of little
- 18:53Speaker 3: things in there, like we're gonna provide you updates blah
- 18:55Speaker 3: blah blah blah blah blah. And I didn't get any
- 18:57Speaker 3: of those updates. I got, Hey, we're bringing you stringing you, stringing,
- 19:01Speaker 3: springing you. Oh well, I guess your sol. Do you
- 19:03Speaker 3: think they sabotage you because you're the partner? Maybe you
- 19:08Speaker 3: or they have somebody on the inside.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Oh is this part of the corruption?
- 19:12Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, yeah, I think not, because they don't know
- 19:16Speaker 3: enough to I think they were just incompetent. Essentially, they
- 19:18Speaker 3: didn't They didn't provide them enough oversight of their local guy,
- 19:21Speaker 3: who again I don't blame him, I just feel like
- 19:23Speaker 3: he was not given the proper resources. I don't know,
- 19:25Speaker 3: you should have gave Morgan and Eye a chance.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Well, we would have been in the streets.
- 19:29Speaker 3: So what I should now that I've done this once,
- 19:31Speaker 3: what I will do in the future is I'll just
- 19:32Speaker 3: hire my own you know, ex fellons off Craigs or
- 19:35Speaker 3: current fell off Craigslist, and have them go out there
- 19:38Speaker 3: for much less money. I'll check I'll do I'll get
- 19:41Speaker 3: the voter roll and check it myself every night. That
- 19:43Speaker 3: way I know what's actually happening creating jobs too.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Well, I'm I'm massively disappointed, trust me too.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I would have liked that two hundred and forty
- 19:52Speaker 3: five K. I would have loved the storyline for the
- 19:54Speaker 3: for the show. I couldn't.
- 19:56Speaker 2: I couldn't selfishly, as you know, yeah, a host of
- 19:59Speaker 2: a of a show.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Guys would have had to potentially we could have talked
- 20:02Speaker 3: about it on the air, of course, but you have
- 20:04Speaker 3: their equal time issues, you guys would have had to
- 20:06Speaker 3: deal with.
- 20:06Speaker 2: That's fine, Uh huh. Whoever you're running it, just come
- 20:09Speaker 2: on and hang hang out for guests. Who's gas come
- 20:13Speaker 2: on by a guest.
- 20:16Speaker 3: The guy, the current guy Mega sucks, he's he's he's
- 20:18Speaker 3: the part of the problem.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Let's just say that, you know how to gone further?
- 20:21Speaker 2: Would there be debates and then like a primary would
- 20:24Speaker 2: have been in June.
- 20:25Speaker 3: The primary was like the first week of June. So
- 20:28Speaker 3: my next two and a half months are real free
- 20:30Speaker 3: right now, guys, because debate would have been would assuming
- 20:34Speaker 3: nobody got to the required fifty one fifty percent plus,
- 20:39Speaker 3: then it goes to the full election in November. So
- 20:41Speaker 3: my my next six to eight months would have been
- 20:42Speaker 3: real full.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Potentially let's consider Sea Bass not getting enough signature is
- 20:46Speaker 2: a blessing in disguise.
- 20:48Speaker 3: You can't be selfish and keep me for the show
- 20:50Speaker 3: like that when I have civil duties on the textures.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Maybe a different district needs you. Yeah, I guarantee it does. Again,
- 20:57Speaker 3: that's two years.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Out, all right, Well alright, uh sorry it turned out
- 21:01Speaker 2: that way. Well again, Well now we have lawsuit watch
- 21:04Speaker 2: to it. That's right to follow up by more whatood
- 21:06Speaker 2: he shows? Next? The what do you show? We'll be
- 21:09Speaker 2: right back word to your mother
