- 1:38Speaker 3: Venezuela, obviously, everybody already knows what's going on with Venice
- 1:43Speaker 3: Will at this point in time. I actually had a
- 1:46Speaker 3: court hearing today for the ousted president and he pleaded
- 1:53Speaker 3: not guilty in New York's in New York Southern District's
- 1:56Speaker 3: federal court. That got them in MCC. I believe Brooklyn.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Is it Brooklyn or Manhattan?
- 2:01Speaker 1: They have in Brooklyn.
- 2:02Speaker 4: They put them in a helicopter, went to Manhattan for
- 2:04Speaker 4: the court, and then I think they brought them back
- 2:06Speaker 4: to Brooklyn.
- 2:06Speaker 5: In Brooklyn, Okay, yeah.
- 2:08Speaker 3: I thought it was MGC mahind correctional but regardless of
- 2:12Speaker 3: anything interesting times that way, and to say the least.
- 2:16Speaker 3: I did make a video about this, So if you're
- 2:18Speaker 3: interested in the whole geopolitical thing, you can check Instagram.
- 2:22Speaker 3: But you know, one of the major questions is how
- 2:28Speaker 3: can and I hate that this is actually the one
- 2:31Speaker 3: of these things, but it's a real thing. People want
- 2:33Speaker 3: to know how they can make money in the situation.
- 2:36Speaker 3: It shouldn't be, but it is. It is, and it's
- 2:38Speaker 3: the world that we live in, and it's the world
- 2:41Speaker 3: that will always it's the world that will always well.
- 2:46Speaker 6: But if they had listened to so we talked about
- 2:50Speaker 6: this on Market Mondays before this happened. You gave a
- 2:53Speaker 6: whole breakdown of what could happen. Kudos to Bloomberg and
- 2:56Speaker 6: Nicole and Shelley. We talked about in the stock club
- 2:59Speaker 6: probably two three months ago. The obvious players here are
- 3:03Speaker 6: writing down slumber, Jay, Chevron and Exi on mobile.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Great. That's that.
- 3:09Speaker 6: The part that people should be asking is how long
- 3:15Speaker 6: will this trade be revelent Given the circumstances of what
- 3:19Speaker 6: they're facing. Nobody will care about this oior trade in
- 3:22Speaker 6: three months. It's a good move for today. It's the
- 3:27Speaker 6: first official trading day of the year in terms of
- 3:31Speaker 6: volume wise, makes a great story because of what Trump
- 3:33Speaker 6: is doing. Now we can get into the nefarious part
- 3:36Speaker 6: of well, let's do it if a country books have
- 3:43Speaker 6: not been properly managed, Troy, going back to that, watch
- 3:45Speaker 6: the paper every morning, right, wouldn't it be who of
- 3:48Speaker 6: you to maybe ascertain some oil so that the petro
- 3:52Speaker 6: dollar trade stays afloat while the dollar is being devalued,
- 3:55Speaker 6: and on top of that, potentially go snatch six hundred
- 3:59Speaker 6: thousand bitcoins from the government and silver. Now we see
- 4:03Speaker 6: why that silver trade panned out so well prior to
- 4:07Speaker 6: the new year.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Don't forget the gold trade.
- 4:11Speaker 3: In combination gold and gold was up today, and that's
- 4:15Speaker 3: also another benefactor of the situation. So I definitely think
- 4:19Speaker 3: that Yeah, like you said, that was one of the questions,
- 4:22Speaker 3: how long is it's gonna last? Because I mean, it
- 4:23Speaker 3: does make up I think, like less than one percent
- 4:26Speaker 3: of the world's oils. But a major part of that
- 4:29Speaker 3: is because they haven't been able to refine their oils efficiently.
- 4:32Speaker 3: And their oil is a lot thicker than inside Arabia,
- 4:34Speaker 3: so it takes more it takes more efficiency to refine
- 4:39Speaker 3: the oil. So a lot of that, a lot of
- 4:41Speaker 3: the reasons why they haven't, and they have sanctions obviously
- 4:43Speaker 3: as well. So you lift the sanctions, you get more
- 4:48Speaker 3: refined oil, and you can start to see some level
- 4:53Speaker 3: of changing. Now, Saudi Arabia already said that they could
- 4:56Speaker 3: potentially strike back on this situation if if it goes
- 4:59Speaker 3: against the him, but it's interested from a geopolitical standpoint,
- 5:02Speaker 3: because okay, okay, before we get to that, So investments Chevron, yeah,
- 5:10Speaker 3: x Exon Mobile Conco.
- 5:14Speaker 5: Uh, the E T F x L E Yep, we
- 5:18Speaker 5: were on that.
- 5:19Speaker 1: I T A is another one. Halliburton for sure, uh yeah,
- 5:23Speaker 1: Tertiary Yeah.
- 5:24Speaker 3: And Slumbers yeah, Slumbered Sumber, Slumberbers ye, Baker Hughes.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Yeah. I think it was well documented. I think every
- 5:33Speaker 4: sixty six. Yeah, it's it's well documented, right, Like I
- 5:38Speaker 4: think Ian, what you did you touched on?
- 5:39Speaker 5: Is that the real story.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It's it's the U see the oil.
- 5:45Speaker 4: We're talking three billion barrels, right, you trade that for
- 5:49Speaker 4: petroleum dollars, which is US currency, and now you force
- 5:53Speaker 4: the rest of the world to use that currency to
- 5:56Speaker 4: get the oil.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Right. And I'm not saying he was a great leader,
- 5:59Speaker 1: not now to cut you off.
- 6:01Speaker 5: Yeah, we're not here to discuss that but.
- 6:04Speaker 6: The parallels between the Hussein and Gaddafi issue here.
- 6:09Speaker 3: But it's actually not the same though, because if you
- 6:11Speaker 3: look at it, like I said, from a geopolitical standpoint,
- 6:13Speaker 3: the interesting thing about it, which is kind of a
- 6:16Speaker 3: curveball to some people, is that, Okay, classic regime change,
- 6:19Speaker 3: you take the you take the president, you know, you
- 6:22Speaker 3: take the resources, you put a new regime in place.
- 6:25Speaker 3: But they haven't they haven't hinted that they wanted to
- 6:27Speaker 3: do that because there is a there is an opposition
- 6:30Speaker 3: that allegedly won the election. She's in exile right now.
- 6:34Speaker 3: She actually won the Nobel Peace Prize, and she gave
- 6:38Speaker 3: her Nobel Priest prize to Trump in an effort to
- 6:41Speaker 3: favor him. But Trump says she's Trump says she's she's
- 6:44Speaker 3: not qualified to run the country. She doesn't have to
- 6:46Speaker 3: support that. Actually looks looks like they're actually back in
- 6:49Speaker 3: the vice president who was a long time socialist. She
- 6:53Speaker 3: was around with Hugo Chavez was around. So it doesn't
- 6:56Speaker 3: really look like they're looking for regime change in a
- 6:59Speaker 3: typical way that it was in Iraq, and it was
- 7:02Speaker 3: in Afghanistan, and it was in all these other countries
- 7:05Speaker 3: that they're not.
- 7:06Speaker 5: It doesn't seem like that's what they're looking for.
- 7:08Speaker 3: It seems like they're they're looking for a new leader
- 7:12Speaker 3: that they that is easy to not a whole news
- 7:16Speaker 3: it takes that takes a lot of time. A new
- 7:18Speaker 3: leader already infrastructure in place, and they can just.
- 7:22Speaker 1: That is in alignment with the vision of.
- 7:25Speaker 5: Or Or or or will get in alignment with the vision.
- 7:28Speaker 5: I think it's interesting too that point.
- 7:30Speaker 4: But I think the other part is that if you
- 7:31Speaker 4: listen to the US companies, the oil companies, they're not
- 7:34Speaker 4: saying like, hey, we're actually going to do this, like
- 7:36Speaker 4: we don't want to go to Venezuela. It's not something
- 7:39Speaker 4: that it's like, all right, we want to go spend
- 7:40Speaker 4: billion dollars and build infrastructure. Yes, Chevron is there, and
- 7:43Speaker 4: I'm sure y'all y'all probably cover that, But it doesn't
- 7:46Speaker 4: look like, hey, oh, three million, three billion barrels of oil,
- 7:52Speaker 4: our country seized it. Let's get in there and get infrastructure,
- 7:55Speaker 4: let's refine it.
- 7:56Speaker 5: It's interesting.
- 7:57Speaker 4: I don't I don't trade oil, so like for me
- 7:59Speaker 4: to give investment advice on oil would be it was
- 8:04Speaker 4: just out of my lane, right, I just not something
- 8:05Speaker 4: I do obviously, I think it was well documented from
- 8:07Speaker 4: everybody today and all the companies that we named there
- 8:10Speaker 4: make a lot of sense.
- 8:12Speaker 3: But yeah, it well, I definitely think that there's interest
- 8:15Speaker 3: from American company. I mean, I think it just happened
- 8:17Speaker 3: two days ago, right, and it's still a sensitive situation.
- 8:21Speaker 3: So I don't think they could just raise their hand
- 8:22Speaker 3: and say, look, I want to be the first one
- 8:24Speaker 3: to just exploit your country and take all the oil.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Now, one that was already exploiting got got the call.
- 8:29Speaker 5: First, one got exploiled. Well, they never left.
- 8:32Speaker 4: They never left, but one got exiled, and they they
- 8:36Speaker 4: won a lawsuit, right like Conco Phillips won a ten
- 8:38Speaker 4: billion dollar lawsuit that they haven't got a dollar from. Right,
- 8:42Speaker 4: So part of it is like, guess we're coming to seas.
- 8:44Speaker 4: But yes, there's a debt that's still old to American
- 8:47Speaker 4: company from oil that was yours, which makes and even crazy.
- 8:51Speaker 3: But yeah, I think anytime you have three hundred billion
- 8:54Speaker 3: barrels of oil, even if it's not the best refined,
- 8:57Speaker 3: even if it's stick, I mean, it's opportunity for sure, definitely,
- 9:02Speaker 3: and especially if the government is.
- 9:07Speaker 5: Cooperating.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Is there there's a thing called friendly extortion. This is Yeah,
- 9:14Speaker 3: there's a thing called friendly extortion. So some sometimes you
- 9:18Speaker 3: get extorted from like like a real aggressive standpoint, and
- 9:23Speaker 3: then sometimes you get you get extorted from a friendly
- 9:27Speaker 3: friendly extortion, like from both.
- 9:28Speaker 6: Fashions of an economic hit Like we're seeing the confessions
- 9:32Speaker 6: of economic hit man play out like a video game.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Real second concern.
- 9:39Speaker 6: For any of you who ever played ball, your coaches
- 9:41Speaker 6: ever give you like the game against the team that
- 9:43Speaker 6: you know has no chance. This to me was a
- 9:45Speaker 6: war game to set up the other takeover that he
- 9:48Speaker 6: wants to for another country. I won't say it here.
- 9:52Speaker 3: He said, Well he said, he said Colombia. He said
- 9:55Speaker 3: Colombia is on the clock. Cuba's on the clock. He said, Mexico.
- 9:59Speaker 3: He said Greenland's we need green He just going to
- 10:01Speaker 3: we need it. That's that's the annexation of that's gonna
- 10:03Speaker 3: happen that he said.
- 10:04Speaker 1: We need that, we need.
- 10:08Speaker 5: New age, new age imperialism is so.
- 10:11Speaker 4: And there were a couple of people and I saw
- 10:13Speaker 4: a few posts and this is when I put the
- 10:14Speaker 4: phone down this afternoon. You kind of alluded to it
- 10:17Speaker 4: when you started. It was like that moral fabric, right,
- 10:21Speaker 4: like knowing that you know, oil probably or some of
- 10:26Speaker 4: these companies would have a slight spike today.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Do we invest in those companies?
- 10:32Speaker 4: It's a fine line, right, Like there's that part of
- 10:35Speaker 4: like that moral investment that people will stick to ors.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Some people just say, Yo, this opportunity to make money,
- 10:41Speaker 4: we gotta make it.
- 10:42Speaker 5: Well.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Also, a thing with morals is that morals is a
- 10:45Speaker 3: tricky thing for sure, no good for the most part,
- 10:50Speaker 3: because it's not really black or white. A lot of
- 10:53Speaker 3: times it's gray. So a lot of Venezuelans are happy
- 10:57Speaker 3: that this happens. I've even heard it as well as
- 11:00Speaker 3: say that I'd rather be an American colony m H.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Than under his ruling leadership.
- 11:06Speaker 5: Yeah, yep, Hey, I mean they're not crying about it.
- 11:12Speaker 1: So he had a good.
- 11:14Speaker 6: Point too, what about even though the people may have unrest,
- 11:20Speaker 6: it doesn't mean that the regime change is absolutely right.
- 11:24Speaker 6: Like I agree Madudo could be nefarious at times, but
- 11:31Speaker 6: I don't like the start of this cycle. This is
- 11:33Speaker 6: year one. It feels like he's been in three years already.
- 11:38Speaker 6: If he does this to Colombia, then it's the issue.
- 11:41Speaker 6: In Nigeria, they're setting a propaganda and it's always the
- 11:46Speaker 6: same it's cartel, narco terrorism, or Christians being killed as
- 11:51Speaker 6: a way to invade, and they're now in government. There's
- 11:55Speaker 6: no checks and balances, and the ones who will check
- 11:57Speaker 6: him are too afraid of that administration to even do anything.
- 12:02Speaker 6: So it's a very scary thing to see be pulled
- 12:07Speaker 6: off so quickly. And the other part is like, how
- 12:11Speaker 6: did they get him so easily?
- 12:14Speaker 3: Well, also, you know, I hate I hate to be
- 12:16Speaker 3: that guy.
- 12:19Speaker 5: Not only did not only how did they get him
- 12:21Speaker 5: so easily?
- 12:22Speaker 3: How all of a sudden, now we we want the
- 12:25Speaker 3: vice president to stay in office. She's cooperating. Look if
- 12:28Speaker 3: your best friend gets hit, and you and you because
- 12:31Speaker 3: you if you become friends with the person that got
- 12:35Speaker 3: your best friend hit, well the best friend has to
- 12:38Speaker 3: look at you.
- 12:39Speaker 4: Yeah, I thought I thought she was going somewhere else.
- 12:42Speaker 4: I thought you was gonna say that the Nike tech, well,
- 12:44Speaker 4: the Nike tech was that even real? Because we got
- 12:47Speaker 4: three different he had three different ouphare changes. But from
- 12:49Speaker 4: a from a serious standpoint, what of this? This is
- 12:53Speaker 4: an interesting thing because I'm like, damn, this is like,
- 12:58Speaker 4: this is like an alpha hitchhoc movie. You take somebody
- 13:01Speaker 4: in the middle of the night. You just abducting presidents
- 13:04Speaker 4: now and his wife. You just subducting presidents.
- 13:08Speaker 3: And then within forty eight hours you already said that
- 13:11Speaker 3: there's no opposition that's gonna come into power when they
- 13:13Speaker 3: said the opposition one's seventy eight percent of the vote,
- 13:16Speaker 3: and you say, like, no, no, she doesn't have she
- 13:18Speaker 3: doesn't have the majority of the people. And then you
- 13:21Speaker 3: automatically just start working with the same regime that you
- 13:24Speaker 3: You say you want a new regime, but you start
- 13:25Speaker 3: working with the same regime that you say that you
- 13:28Speaker 3: didn't want anymore.
- 13:29Speaker 1: The new regime is a regime I can have interest in.
- 13:33Speaker 2: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.
- 13:36Speaker 2: A lot of people think podcasts about work are boring,
- 13:39Speaker 2: and sure they definitely can be, but understanding a professionals
- 13:43Speaker 2: routine shows us how they achieve their success little by little,
- 13:46Speaker 2: day after day. It's like banking with P and C Bank.
- 13:51Speaker 2: It might seem boring to save, plan and make calculated
- 13:53Speaker 2: decisions with your bank, but keeping your money boring is
