And today we're adding two more: white and black. Super common words. Luna: Oh, I think I've heard those before. Like 白色 and 黑色? Lucas: You got it! Let's start with 白色. It means white. Repeat after me: 白色. Luna: 白色. Lucas: Good. Now 黑色 — black. Say it with me: 黑色. Luna: 黑色. Lucas: Perfect. Now let's put them in a simple sentence. 'This is white' — 呢個係白色. Try it. Luna: 呢個係白色. Lucas: Great! And 'this is black' — 呢個係黑色. Luna: 呢個係黑色. Lucas: Awesome. Now imagine you're at a clothing store. You see a white shirt. What do you say? Luna: 呢個係白色? Lucas: Exactly. Now if you prefer black, you can say 我鍾意黑色 — I like black. Luna: 我鍾意黑色. Lucas: Nice. Let's practice with a few more. What color is snow? Luna: Uhh... 白色? Lucas: Right. And a crow? Luna: 黑色. Lucas: You're a natural. Now let's do a quick drill. I'll say the English, you say the Cantonese. White. Luna: 白色. Lucas: Black. Luna: 黑色. Lucas: This is white. Luna: 呢個係白色. Lucas: This is black.
