- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, welcome back to ACC Football Addiction. We are
- 0:03Speaker 1: presented by PrizePix. Talk more about them in a little bit.
- 0:05Speaker 1: But Brian from Clemson Football Live on with us. Clemson's
- 0:11Speaker 1: got a Friday night, thank you ACC, road trip to
- 0:14Speaker 1: California this week. I want to talk a little bit
- 0:18Speaker 1: about that game, but I also want to talk a
- 0:19Speaker 1: little big picture Clemson right now. But Brian, how you doing, man?
- 0:23Speaker 2: Man, I'm doing great. Thanks for having me on. I
- 0:25Speaker 2: always have a good time here. No, wait.
- 0:27Speaker 1: We'll try and put you in a better mood. I
- 0:28Speaker 1: don't know how good of a mood you're in right now,
- 0:30Speaker 1: but whatever it is, we're going to try to take
- 0:32Speaker 1: it up a level or two. Hopefully we don't depress
- 0:33Speaker 1: you even more. But Clemson, listen, saw some good things,
- 0:39Speaker 1: I think, this weekend. Certainly not what anybody would have
- 0:43Speaker 1: wanted coming into this season. But it looks like for
- 0:47Speaker 1: a while in that North Carolina game, Clemson was completely dead.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I thought you saw some good things out of Tate Reynolds,
- 0:51Speaker 1: all things considered. They did fight back. I hate the
- 0:55Speaker 1: silver lining of, well, they fought hard, but I do
- 0:58Speaker 1: think there's a big difference in a team fighting hard
- 0:59Speaker 1: and a team throwing up their hands and just quitting,
- 1:01Speaker 1: which is a big deal, too. It doesn't look like
- 1:04Speaker 1: it's going to be the kind of season Clemson thought
- 1:05Speaker 1: it would be. Certainly, there are a lot of questions
- 1:09Speaker 1: around Dabo in the future, and this will happen and
- 1:11Speaker 1: that will happen. But overall, is there any ability for
- 1:16Speaker 1: Clemson fans to be happy with some of those things
- 1:20Speaker 1: that happened, or is there too much frustration there? at
- 1:22Speaker 1: the entirety of the situation to be appreciative of those
- 1:26Speaker 1: small wins. And then ultimately a win against North Carolina
- 1:29Speaker 1: when it looked like they were going to maybe run
- 1:31Speaker 1: away with it at one point.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Sure. The phrase has been used in my comment section,
- 1:37Speaker 2: cautiously optimistic. And I think that's a good approach to this.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Sure.
- 1:43Speaker 2: That North Carolina game was absolutely confusing. As you said,
- 1:48Speaker 2: we started out, man, they were just dog walking us.
- 1:50Speaker 2: I was like, here we go. And then all of
- 1:53Speaker 2: a sudden they stopped running the football. That really didn't
- 1:56Speaker 2: make sense. And then the game kind of, Kind of
- 2:00Speaker 2: stopped at halftime. We started in the second half. We
- 2:03Speaker 2: had our third rain delay of the season. Dude, I've
- 2:07Speaker 2: never seen anything like that. Clemson comes back, punches the
- 2:10Speaker 2: ball in, and it wasn't just that they scored. It
- 2:14Speaker 2: was the play call, the play calls. It was the execution.
- 2:19Speaker 2: And the way we sealed the game, it looked like
- 2:23Speaker 2: not even two totally different teams playing. It looked like
- 2:25Speaker 2: two teams from different galaxies playing who started and who finished.
- 2:30Speaker 2: So there are some things to take away from this game.
- 2:33Speaker 2: It's like, yes, this is awesome. Tate is coming into
- 2:37Speaker 2: his own. And the guy's really talented. He really is.
- 2:41Speaker 2: But man, just the difference that we saw from the
- 2:44Speaker 2: beginning to the end, it kind of makes me nervous.
- 2:47Speaker 2: But I guess I'm trying to be optimistic about this,
- 2:50Speaker 2: but cautiously optimistic.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Just big picture on Clemson, there's so much conversation around
- 2:57Speaker 1: Dabo and what this year could hold for him, what
- 3:04Speaker 1: could end up happening. What is the vibe that you
- 3:07Speaker 1: get on what ultimately happens with Dabo Sweeney this year?
- 3:12Speaker 2: Okay, so there are a lot more fans this year
- 3:16Speaker 2: who are angry. I never bought into that we were
- 3:20Speaker 2: going to be really good. Even if you went back
- 3:22Speaker 2: to the offseason of 2025, you know, before the season
- 3:26Speaker 2: when everyone was saying we were going to contend for
- 3:28Speaker 2: a national championship. Anyone who wanted to be honest with
- 3:33Speaker 2: themselves knew that this season was going to be a rebuild, right?
- 3:39Speaker 2: And so this is not really a shock that it's
- 3:42Speaker 2: a rebuild season, but to see some of the things
- 3:44Speaker 2: we've seen, like the offensive line, I mean, man, they're
- 3:47Speaker 2: just struggling to block. It really doesn't make sense. It
- 3:51Speaker 2: kind of sticks a knife in and twists it, right?
- 3:55Speaker 2: At this point, seeing Takeover so early on is kind
- 4:00Speaker 2: of shocking. I know Vazina's injured, but it's kind of shocking.
- 4:04Speaker 2: So I'm kind of wondering... If maybe Dabo and the
- 4:08Speaker 2: administration are feeling, yes, everybody, they're not kind of down.
- 4:13Speaker 2: They are ticked off. And maybe they're trying to make
- 4:17Speaker 2: some changes. I don't know. But I will tell you this.
- 4:20Speaker 2: I'm seeing more and more of the Clemson fan base angry. Like,
- 4:25Speaker 2: across the board. People who were, like, very optimistic before
- 4:28Speaker 2: the LSU game, they're sitting here going, yeah, we're not
- 4:32Speaker 2: giving you the benefit of the doubt now. So... I
- 4:35Speaker 2: think that you're starting to feel that in the Clemson community.
- 4:39Speaker 2: We have to flip over and look at the buyout.
- 4:41Speaker 2: If Clemson wanted to fire Dabo, I'm not calling for
- 4:44Speaker 2: him to be fired, by the way. If they wanted
- 4:46Speaker 2: to fire Dabo right now, it would actually be cheaper
- 4:48Speaker 2: than waiting and firing him next year. So I don't
- 4:53Speaker 2: think that, I mean, he would.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Have to win him again. Why is that?
- 4:57Speaker 2: Because of the contract, the contract, how it's laid out.
- 5:00Speaker 2: So if they fired him right now, they would owe
- 5:02Speaker 2: him $ 57 million. Next year it would be 60.
- 5:05Speaker 1: That's crazy. I've never heard of that. Well, you know what?
- 5:09Speaker 2: Sometimes bullets flush backwards, my friend. And it did in
- 5:14Speaker 2: this case. So, you know, and there's a lot of
- 5:17Speaker 2: people questioning in the Clemson community. After he signed that extension,
- 5:21Speaker 2: did he just retire? You know, and as the season,
- 5:24Speaker 2: I mean, you lose by six touchdowns basically to LSU.
- 5:28Speaker 2: People are no longer going to look on the bright side.
- 5:30Speaker 2: A few of them will, but, you know. Most of
- 5:32Speaker 2: them are no longer doing that. So I think that
- 5:36Speaker 2: Dabo would have to lose like basically eight or nine
- 5:39Speaker 2: games for them to even entertain the thought of firing him.
- 5:43Speaker 2: I don't see that happening. And again, I'm not calling
- 5:46Speaker 2: for that. But I will say this. I've seen more
- 5:49Speaker 2: Clemson fans angry right now than I've ever seen them
- 5:53Speaker 2: angry since, well, maybe the 90s.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I'll get right back to chatting with Brian, but first
- 5:57Speaker 1: I want to give some love to our friends over
- 5:58Speaker 1: at PrizePix. All new users on the PrizePix app get
- 6:01Speaker 1: $ 150 instantly if they win their first $ 5 lineup using
- 6:05Speaker 1: code HMA. Big game this weekend in the Swamp. I'm
- 6:09Speaker 1: taking Jaden Baugh, the more on his rushing touchdown total.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Don't let that little red demon scare you off. He's
- 6:16Speaker 1: getting two touchdowns against Ole Miss. Give me the more
- 6:18Speaker 1: on that. Give me the more on Trinidad's passing touchdowns,
- 6:21Speaker 1: that one. a little bit easier to me than Jaden Baugh,
- 6:24Speaker 1: but they're both going to happen, and we're both going
- 6:26Speaker 1: to cash. Go use the PrizePix app, code HMA, get
- 6:30Speaker 1: $ 150 instantly if you win your first $ 5 lineup. This
- 6:33Speaker 1: is a great way to do it. Appreciate PrizePix for
- 6:35Speaker 1: their support. Now back to Brian. Would it ever get
- 6:40Speaker 1: bad enough? Dabo does not strike me as the kind
- 6:42Speaker 1: of guy that would ever walk away at all. You
- 6:46Speaker 1: don't think a 5-7 season would have him be like,
- 6:48Speaker 1: all right, man, this just isn't for me anymore. I
- 6:51Speaker 1: feel like he's kind of the one to double down
- 6:52Speaker 1: and say, all right, I'm going to get it right.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Well, I mean, and look, when I say this, it's
- 6:57Speaker 2: going to sound like I'm taking a shot at him personally.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I don't know the man, right? I don't know him,
- 7:02Speaker 2: and I'm not going after him. Would you walk away
- 7:05Speaker 2: from $ 57 million?
- 7:07Speaker 1: Not at all.
- 7:08Speaker 2: I wouldn't.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I wouldn't. I think there's that side of it, too.
- 7:13Speaker 1: But also, I do think Dabo, to his fault, his credit,
- 7:17Speaker 1: however you want to look at it, I think when
- 7:19Speaker 1: he says he believes he can get it turned around,
- 7:21Speaker 1: I think he truly does believe that. Whether you agree
- 7:24Speaker 1: with him or not, I think there is the side of, like,
- 7:27Speaker 1: I wouldn't. Mike Norvell's miserable on the sideline right now,
- 7:30Speaker 1: and he ain't walking away from $ 49 million. I mean,
- 7:32Speaker 1: he hates his life. Let me just look at him.
- 7:34Speaker 1: But he's not walking away from that. I could hate
- 7:36Speaker 1: my life for a couple more weeks if I would
- 7:38Speaker 1: do with that kind of money was coming. So that
- 7:40Speaker 1: part does matter, too. But I think Dabo truly believes
- 7:43Speaker 1: he can turn it back around. Now, whether or not
- 7:45Speaker 1: he can, I don't know, and people will debate that.
- 7:47Speaker 1: But I think he does believe it. I don't think
- 7:48Speaker 1: it's just like, bring me my money and screw you guys.
- 7:51Speaker 1: I think he thinks he can get it done.
- 7:53Speaker 2: You know, I wrestle inside with that because there's a
- 7:55Speaker 2: part of me that I think that he's like, look,
- 7:57Speaker 2: I won two championships and we know the resume and
- 8:00Speaker 2: so on. And I kind of think that maybe he
- 8:02Speaker 2: does believe that. He's like, yeah, sure, I can do it.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Here's the thing. We're getting... we have more time in
- 8:11Speaker 2: between those national championships and now than we ever have.
- 8:14Speaker 2: And it's only going to get worse, right? And so
- 8:17Speaker 2: that is where we go from what he believes to reality.
- 8:22Speaker 2: And he's really slow to pull the trigger on certain things.
- 8:26Speaker 2: I mean, we're not just talking about NIL. We're talking
- 8:30Speaker 2: about hiring and firing. We have a few coaches that's
- 8:33Speaker 2: still on the staff who has been there for a
- 8:36Speaker 2: long time. People's been calling for their head for a very,
- 8:39Speaker 2: very long time. Their unit's not even performing good. And
- 8:44Speaker 2: they're totally fine. And they'll be there next year and
- 8:47Speaker 2: the year after that. So it's just like, yes, you
- 8:50Speaker 2: want to believe that he truly believes that he will
- 8:54Speaker 2: win and do these things. Maybe so. But he just
- 8:57Speaker 2: drags his feet. And it was explained to me many
- 9:00Speaker 2: years ago. I was talking to someone and they said,
- 9:02Speaker 2: you know, if you're supposed to take a right turn
- 9:04Speaker 2: right now and you say, no, but I'm going to
- 9:06Speaker 2: go a few miles down the road, then I'm going
- 9:09Speaker 2: to take a right turn. Sure, you made a right turn,
- 9:11Speaker 2: but you made it at the wrong time. And that's
- 9:14Speaker 2: kind of what I wonder with Sweeney.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Do you think that, well, no, let's transition a little
- 9:21Speaker 1: bit to JKS. Hey, do me a favor if you're
- 9:24Speaker 1: watching this, make sure you are subscribed to Clemson Football Live.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I will link it down in the description, and I'll
- 9:30Speaker 1: link it right here on the channel, too. So just
- 9:32Speaker 1: hit the button and make sure you are subscribed there.
- 9:34Speaker 1: This game at Cal, JKS presents an interesting problem. I
- 9:39Speaker 1: think he's one of the better quarterbacks. Cal has not
- 9:41Speaker 1: been super impressive this year, but he himself is good
- 9:46Speaker 1: and can, in my opinion, take over a game at times.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Just big picture thoughts on that game out on the
- 9:51Speaker 1: West Coast. Thank you, ACC.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Well, yeah, thank you. ACC. By the way, I've been
- 9:59Speaker 2: working on his name, and I'm going for it. Jaron
- 10:01Speaker 2: Keave Sangapolitelli.
- 10:03Speaker 1: You're better than me. JKS is way too easy, man,
- 10:06Speaker 1: for me to be trying all that. Yeah, I ain't
- 10:09Speaker 1: doing that. I finally got Toga Vailoa. I finally got
- 10:12Speaker 1: Ian Maliava. I do a lot of BYU stuff, and
- 10:15Speaker 1: I've gotten a lot of those down. I'm not. I'm not.
- 10:17Speaker 1: JKS is so easy.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Yes. Yes. I know. I know. I had to put
- 10:21Speaker 2: you on the spot there. I've been working on it. No,
- 10:24Speaker 2: you're 100% right. I mean, this guy can sling it.
- 10:27Speaker 2: He's a left-handed quarterback, 6'3. When Tasha Lapoi took over
- 10:32Speaker 2: at Oregon, what was the first– or not Oregon, left Oregon,
- 10:35Speaker 2: went to California, what was the first thing he did?
- 10:37Speaker 2: Hopped on a jet, flew straight to Hawaii, said, I
- 10:39Speaker 2: have to lock you down, man. And when you watch
- 10:42Speaker 2: him flick his wrist and the ball travels 65 yards
- 10:46Speaker 2: effortlessly to a specific spot, I mean, it'll freak you out.
- 10:50Speaker 2: But you are right. To me, this game is not
- 10:54Speaker 2: nearly about him. I expect him to get his. He's
- 10:57Speaker 2: one of those guys. It's kind of like with Clemson's
- 10:59Speaker 2: Sammy Brown, one of the best linebackers in all of
- 11:02Speaker 2: college football. It doesn't matter if Clemson plays good or bad.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Sammy's still going to play great, you know. So I
- 11:08Speaker 2: think JKS is definitely going to take advantage of busted coverages.
- 11:13Speaker 2: He has two really good receivers in Chase and Strong,
- 11:17Speaker 2: and he's going to get the ball to them. Really,
- 11:20Speaker 2: the question for me, can they stop us? And that's
- 11:23Speaker 2: kind of funny, but if you step back and you
- 11:26Speaker 2: look at what Syracuse did to them, they had over
- 11:28Speaker 2: 400 yards of total offense. But where Syracuse killed themselves,
- 11:33Speaker 2: they turned over the ball three times and they were
- 11:35Speaker 2: penalized like out through the roof. So I think this
- 11:39Speaker 2: is the tale of two inconsistent teams who has good
- 11:43Speaker 2: players here and there who would just be more consistent.
- 11:47Speaker 2: But yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing JKS. I think
- 11:50Speaker 2: the guy's incredible. I think he does fly under the
- 11:53Speaker 2: radar at times because he's at Cal, but if anyone
- 11:56Speaker 2: sleeps on him, he will make you pay very quickly. Yeah.
- 12:00Speaker 1: What did Clemson do well against North Carolina in that
- 12:04Speaker 1: second half that they need to continue this week?
- 12:06Speaker 2: They opened up the playbook. That's it. That's really it
- 12:10Speaker 2: on the offensive side of the football. We started off
- 12:12Speaker 2: the game with the frustrating quick pass out to the sideline. Yes,
- 12:17Speaker 2: I get why we did that. It's because we want
- 12:19Speaker 2: to get the freshmen comfortable. To me, Tate Reynolds has
- 12:23Speaker 2: proven to the Clemson Nation, you can trust me. Either
- 12:27Speaker 2: you can trust me or you need to trot my
- 12:30Speaker 2: behind back over there to the sideline and pull somebody
- 12:32Speaker 2: out here that you're going to open up the playbook
- 12:34Speaker 2: because getting him overly comfortable and spending a quarter and
- 12:38Speaker 2: a half to do that, it's going to cost you
- 12:40Speaker 2: against a team who can consistently score against your defense.
- 12:45Speaker 2: So I don't blame you maybe in the first drive
- 12:49Speaker 2: trying to get him comfortable and get him settled into
- 12:53Speaker 2: an environment, but good grief. This is Cal. I mean,
- 12:57Speaker 2: we'll probably have as many fans as they have there,
- 13:00Speaker 2: and we'll travel cross-country. To me, open up the playbook.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I said this in the pregame of the North Carolina-Clemson game.
- 13:09Speaker 2: I said, if I'm calling the offense, I am going
- 13:13Speaker 2: to take a shot downfield. I'm talking about long. I
- 13:16Speaker 2: don't care if the ball hits the ground and creates
- 13:18Speaker 2: a crater in Death Valley. I'm going to let that
- 13:21Speaker 2: defensive coordinator know you can't walk those safeties up on me.
- 13:25Speaker 2: I'll make you pay. What happened on the last drive
- 13:28Speaker 2: before halftime? They took a shot downfield. It fell incomplete. Afterwards,
- 13:34Speaker 2: Clemson had more yards on that drive than they had
- 13:38Speaker 2: in the entire first half. They ended up having to
- 13:41Speaker 2: settle for a field goal just because time was about
- 13:44Speaker 2: to expire, which, by the way, that was the right
- 13:46Speaker 2: call by Sweeney was to kick the field goal and
- 13:48Speaker 2: take the points. Yeah. And then the rest of the game,
- 13:51Speaker 2: Clemson opened up the playbook. Open up the offensive playbook.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Trust Tate. Or you can fly 3,000 miles back cross-country
- 14:00Speaker 2: with a loss.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I'll tell you, we've done it. My team's done it.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Not at Cal. We haven't played there yet, but did
- 14:07Speaker 1: it against Stanford. As a 17.5-point favorite, too. So Clemson
- 14:11Speaker 1: favored by a point and a half in this game.
- 14:13Speaker 1: So razor-thin margins there. Vegas telling me they think Clemson's
- 14:17Speaker 1: maybe a little bit better, but they give Cal... A
- 14:19Speaker 1: little bit of credit for the home field advantage there.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Chad Morris is somebody that, getting away from the game
- 14:26Speaker 1: for just a moment, but Chad Morris is somebody that
- 14:30Speaker 1: people questioned that hire when it happened. I'm sure you
- 14:34Speaker 1: questioned that hire when it happened. A lot of people
- 14:36Speaker 1: nationally did. Has it gone about the way you thought
- 14:40Speaker 1: it would through three games?
- 14:44Speaker 2: Yes. Yes, but then I always try to be fair
- 14:50Speaker 2: to people, and that's the reason, believe it or not,
- 14:52Speaker 2: people don't like me. It's like, hey, you're supposed to
- 14:54Speaker 2: be a Clemson homer, and everything that's orange and white,
- 14:57Speaker 2: you're supposed to protect, even if it makes you look stupid. No,
- 14:59Speaker 2: I'm not going to do that. His offensive line, this
- 15:03Speaker 2: is the worst offensive line I've seen play major college football.
- 15:10Speaker 2: I thought the Gamecocks last year, and I'm not Just
- 15:12Speaker 2: taking a shot at them because they're rivals of ours.
- 15:15Speaker 2: I'm being honest. I thought that was the worst offensive
- 15:19Speaker 2: line I'd seen play major college football. And then I
- 15:22Speaker 2: watched Clemson this year. Nothing makes sense there. So to
- 15:25Speaker 2: be fair to Chad Morris, man, if your offensive line
- 15:30Speaker 2: can't block for you, you're just going to have to
- 15:33Speaker 2: open up the playbook and start ripping out pages. We
- 15:36Speaker 2: can't call this one. Can't call that one. That's cute,
- 15:39Speaker 2: but can't do that. The thing with Tate coming in
- 15:43Speaker 2: is that he gives you that mobile presence. I don't
- 15:46Speaker 2: know how much you've looked at Cade. I keep calling
- 15:49Speaker 2: him Cade because he wears two. We've had Cade for years.
- 15:53Speaker 2: But Tate, their name rhymes as well. If you look
- 15:56Speaker 2: at Tate, he's a big dude. Like he is a big,
- 16:00Speaker 2: thick dude. He'll run into you and knock you down.
- 16:03Speaker 2: But he can throw as well. I think they need
- 16:06Speaker 2: to move the pocket. I think that they don't need
- 16:09Speaker 2: to call as many quarterback runs because you're going to
- 16:11Speaker 2: get this guy hurt. But trust your rotation of your
- 16:15Speaker 2: running back room. Take the shots downfield. Keep them honest.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Keep the tight end involved. We have one of the
- 16:22Speaker 2: best tight ends in America. I stick to that. I'm doubling,
- 16:26Speaker 2: tripling down on that. But I still have to give
- 16:29Speaker 2: Chad Morris the asterisk of he has one of the
- 16:31Speaker 2: worst offensive lines. At the same time, throwing the ball
- 16:35Speaker 2: out to the right and the left along the lines
- 16:38Speaker 2: of scrimmage, I don't care if it's a bubble screen,
- 16:40Speaker 2: if it's this screen, if it's that screen. I don't
- 16:43Speaker 2: want to see that anymore. It's not working. And defenses
- 16:47Speaker 2: are getting better and better at scheming for that. They'll
- 16:50Speaker 2: jump the route. Just ask Ohio State against Miami. Yeah. The.
- 16:56Speaker 1: The offensive line, does that fall on Morris, or is
- 16:58Speaker 1: that more of a Luke thing to you? I know
- 17:00Speaker 1: it impacts what Morris can do, but is that a
- 17:03Speaker 1: Luke thing to you?
- 17:04Speaker 2: Unfortunately, that's a Luke thing. Now, how Morris schemes, that's
- 17:10Speaker 2: up to him. Sure. I mean, he's been paid a
- 17:12Speaker 2: lot of money to call a game, so... You know,
- 17:16Speaker 2: if you want to be a top-notch offensive coordinator, you can't,
- 17:20Speaker 2: and I'm not saying that he is, but you can't
- 17:22Speaker 2: sit and whine about what you don't have. You look
- 17:24Speaker 2: at what you do have and you say, I have
- 17:26Speaker 2: to adjust. I mean, that's the story of life, you know?
- 17:30Speaker 2: Life's not fair. What are you going to do next?
- 17:33Speaker 2: And so I am shocked at how bad this offensive
- 17:37Speaker 2: line is. Luke has an incredible reputation. I think he's
- 17:41Speaker 2: a good man. I'm pulling for him. I was excited
- 17:44Speaker 2: about the hire versus a lot of the other hires.
- 17:47Speaker 2: It just hasn't panned out. No less pause there, TJ.
- 17:50Speaker 2: It's came out over the past few weeks, especially after
- 17:52Speaker 2: that six touchdown loss to LSU, that we went after
- 17:57Speaker 2: three offensive linemen and missed on all three of them
- 18:00Speaker 2: because we would not meet their financial demands. Well, the
- 18:04Speaker 2: question is, how much is Is that costing us now?
- 18:08Speaker 2: You know, I think it's costing us a lot. But obviously,
- 18:12Speaker 2: I don't know what's going on with Luke, but it
- 18:14Speaker 2: is up to Chad Morris to adjust the scheme. He
- 18:17Speaker 2: does have a very athletic quarterback. And I say you
- 18:21Speaker 2: need to use it, but not too much to where
- 18:23Speaker 2: he ends up in traction. Yeah. Yeah.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Let's keep him from getting hurt. Brian, what do you
- 18:28Speaker 1: have coming this week over on the channel? What all
- 18:31Speaker 1: will you do? leading up to the game and obviously post-game,
- 18:34Speaker 1: and what can people expect if they go subscribe?
- 18:37Speaker 2: Sure, absolutely. So I've already given my prediction for this game.
- 18:42Speaker 2: You can go check that out. That's uploaded right now.
- 18:46Speaker 2: As we go through this week, I'm going to talk
- 18:47Speaker 2: about the cautious optimism we need to have because let
- 18:51Speaker 2: me tell you this. There's already people who think that
- 18:54Speaker 2: we can make a run to Charlotte right now just
- 18:56Speaker 2: based on what we did against a subpar North Carolina team.
- 19:00Speaker 2: So you can be excited. You need to calm down.
- 19:03Speaker 2: There's a lot at play and a lot of ifs
- 19:05Speaker 2: right now. So we'll be taking a look at that.
- 19:08Speaker 2: I'll be taking a look at the approach with Cal,
- 19:11Speaker 2: what we can learn from the Syracuse game, because Syracuse
- 19:14Speaker 2: really should have beaten them. They really should have beaten
- 19:17Speaker 2: them by two or three touchdowns. So I'll be going
- 19:21Speaker 2: over that and then getting ready for the big game,
- 19:23Speaker 2: starting to hint at the big game with Miami. They're
- 19:25Speaker 2: coming to town on the 3rd.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Appreciate you for joining us, my man. Thank you for
- 19:30Speaker 1: your time today. We always have a good time when
- 19:32Speaker 1: you're on here. Go check out Clemson Football Live, and
- 19:35Speaker 1: we'll talk to you soon, man. Good luck on Friday.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Man, thanks for having me on. It's always a good time.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Good luck to you.
