  Lord. We wear it as our bridal

  identity, Lord, as our wedding clothes, Father, Passover us.

  Lord, I pray that you'll help us, Father, to be your hands and
• 0:33
  feet. Help us, God, to get in the
• 0:35
  fight. Help us, Father, to war on our
• 0:38
  knees. Help us, Lord, not to shrink
• 0:40
  back and be cowards. Father.

  I pray God will ascend the hill, the holy hill, the hill of Zion

  today. God, thank you for the Lord

  Jesus Christ. We thank you for the indwelling

  of the Holy Spirit. We thank you God for the 66

  complete Canon. God, we thank you for the

  ecclesia, the called out ones. Father, we thank you Lord, that

  you were well pleased, Lord, to choose us before the foundations

  of the earth. Thank you God for giving us

  enough wherewithal to choose you, Lord, to finally surrender

  God and to receive our healing. Lord to receive forgiveness.

  Lord, help us to be a forgiving people.

  Bind the enemy, Father, from off of our minds and bodies.

  God, he has no place here. In the name of Jesus Christ, all

  Lord Jesus Christ, send them into the chains of utter gloom

  for everything that you do, everything you have done, and

  everything you will do. You're the same yesterday, today

  and forever worthy of all of our attention.

  We lock eyes with the man with the eyes of fire and hair like

  wool. The voice of the many multitudes

  in the tart, the sharp 2 edged sword coming from your mouth.

  Annihilate all opposition Father.

  We lock arms with you. Father, thank you.

  Thank you God for today. Thank you God, for waking us up,
• 3:52
  putting us on our feet. Thank you, God, for all of our
• 3:55
  abilities and attributes. Thank you, God, for our
• 3:58
  uniqueness. Father, I pray for every nation
• 4:03
  and tribe and tongue on every continent across this entire
• 4:07
  globe. Father, I pray that you'll raise
• 4:10
  up warriors unto yourself. Jesus, we love you.
• 4:18
  It's in your holy and precious and powerful name that I pray.
• 4:23
  Amen. Let's start in verse one.
• 4:26
  And the Lord spoke unto Moses and Aaron, saying to take the
• 4:33
  son of the sons of Koha from among the sons of Lephi after
• 4:39
  their families by the House of their fathers.
• 4:41
  So this is the same clan that Moses and Aaron and Miriam were
• 4:47
  from. You trace it back, friends.
• 4:49
  And you can see here, they're going to have a very honorable
• 4:52
  position in the setting up, in the taking down, in the moving
• 4:57
  of the manifest presence of God in the temple here in this tent
• 5:02
  of meeting that is mobile in the wandering wilderness. 3 from 30
• 5:10
  years old and upward, even under 50 years old, all that enter
• 5:14
  into the host to do the work of the Tabernacle of the
• 5:18
  congregation. So here is a second census
• 5:22
  taken, and God wanted them to number them.
• 5:26
  This is the name of the book here, friends, this enumeration
• 5:31
  of the Levitical priests, the Levitical line.
• 5:35
  And these were the ones who were to take up and to set up and to
• 5:39
  move the tent of meeting, this Tabernacle of the congregation.
• 5:46
  And here we see that the tribe of Kohab has a very prestigious
• 5:52
  position, and it's no wonder that they do.
• 5:56
  This is the same tribe that Moses and Aaron and Miriam come
• 6:01
  from. For this shall be the service of
• 6:04
  the sons of Kohath and the Tabernacle of the congregation
• 6:08
  about the most holy things. There it is.
• 6:11
  And you can see here that from 30 to 50 would have been the
• 6:15
  time frame that they wanted to serve with all their vigor, with
• 6:21
  every ounce of their being. And you can see that from a
• 6:26
  historical point of view, they would have entered in around 25
• 6:30
  and spent five years in training before they were released into
• 6:34
  their proper service. 5 When the camp sets forward, Aaron shall
• 6:40
  come with his sons and shall take down the covering veil and
• 6:44
  cover the ark of the testimony with it.
• 6:47
  So he would take down this curtain, and he would wrap the
• 6:53
  ark with it. Friends, that is what is
• 6:56
  referenced here. 6 And he shall put there on the covering of
• 7:00
  badger skins, and shall spread it over a cloth wholly of blue,
• 7:05
  and shall put in the Staffs of it.
• 7:08
  So he would take down the curtain, and he would wrap the
• 7:14
  ark with it, and then he would cover it with leather, and then
• 7:19
  he would wrap the leather with a blue cloth. 7 And upon the table
• 7:27
  of showbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put on it the
• 7:32
  dishes and the spoons and the bowls, and cover with all.
• 7:37
  And the continual bread shall be there on. 8 And they shall
• 7:42
  spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with
• 7:47
  the covering of badger skins, and shall put in the Staffs of
• 7:50
  it. So there it is.
• 7:52
  They would take this table of showbread, they would wrap it in
• 7:55
  the blue cloth, and then they would put the leather on it, and
• 7:58
  then they would wrap it in the scarlet.

  Friends, this is talking of heavenly things.
• 8:05
  This is talking about the blood of Jesus Christ.
• 8:08
  All reference back here in these colors.
• 8:11
  What an amazing God that we serve. 9 And they shall take a
• 8:17
  cloth of blue, and cover the Candlestick of light, and the
• 8:21
  lamps and tongs, and stuffed dishes, and all the oil vessels
• 8:24
  there of, where with a minister unto it. 10 And they shall put
• 8:30
  it in all the vessels there of with a covering of badger skins,
• 8:34
  and shall put it up on a bar. So can you see it, friends, the
• 8:39
  ark of the testimony. You can see here that the show
• 8:43
  bread table, you can see here that the Candlestick and
• 8:47
  everything in reference to it is all getting wrapped up and
• 8:51
  getting ready to be moved tan. And they shall put it in all the
• 8:57
  vessels thereof with the covering of badger skins and
• 9:00
  shall put it upon a bar. So those are the Staffs that
• 9:04
  gets put into those. If you go back and and look,
• 9:07
  there were these little ringlets and then the poles would slide
• 9:11
  into that so that no one would actually touch with their hands
• 9:16
  the holy things, the manifest presence of God in the camp.
• 9:20
  And you can see when the ark came back into the city and it
• 9:24
  started to wobble on the cart, that there was not on these
• 9:27
  Staffs, it was not on these poles.
• 9:30
  And the men reached out and tried to steady it.
• 9:33
  And they were consumed, They were killed, friends, because it
• 9:36
  is such a holy thing. And that is what is referenced
• 9:39
  here with these Staffs going into it. 11 And upon the golden
• 9:44
  altar they shall spread a cloth of blue and cover it with the
• 9:48
  covering of badger skins, and shall put the Staffs of it. 12
• 9:52
  And they shall take all the instruments of ministry.
• 9:55
  Where? Where they minister in the
• 9:57
  sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them
• 10:00
  with the covering of badger skins, and shall put them on a
• 10:03
  bar. 13 And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and
• 10:08
  spread a purple cloth there on. 14 And they shall put upon it
• 10:13
  all the vessels thereof. Where would they minister about
• 10:16
  even the sensors and the flesh hooks, the shovels, the basins,
• 10:21
  all the vessels of the altar? And they shall spread upon it a
• 10:24
  covering of badger skins, and put the Staffs of it. 15 And
• 10:29
  when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the
• 10:33
  sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary as the campus
• 10:38
  set forward, after that the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it.
• 10:43
  But they shall not touch any holy thing unless they die.
• 10:49
  These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the
• 10:53
  Tabernacle of the congregation. So there you can see friends
• 10:57
  where much is given, much is required.
• 10:59
  There you can see when you step into these holy places.
• 11:05
  It is beautiful, it is magnificent, it's earth
• 11:09
  shattering, it's life changing, but it is a dangerous place
• 11:14
  because friends, you can see God's manifest presence in the
• 11:18
  camp. And if they were to even try to
• 11:21
  look upon these things, that would cause them to die.
• 11:26
  And we need to understand. And we saw back there where God
• 11:30
  told Aaron because of Nadab and Abahu not to just come into the
• 11:35
  holiest of holy places any time he got ready and not to be drunk
• 11:39
  and try to come in and offer strange fire.
• 11:43
  And that is a word for us today, friends.
• 11:47
  We do not need to just give God any kind of worship that we want
• 11:51
  to give to him, any kind of worship that we desire.
• 11:53
  Whatever we think is right, God gave us the complete,
• 11:57
  infallible, inerrant word of God, and how we are to worship
• 12:01
  Him today is in spirit and true. 16 And to the office of Eleazar
• 12:09
  the son of Aaron, the priest pertains the oil for the light,
• 12:13
  and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the
• 12:16
  anointing oil, and the oversight of all the Tabernacle, and of
• 12:21
  all therein, and the sanctuary and the vessels of it.
• 12:24
  So Eleazar has a unique responsibility of taking care of
• 12:29
  the lamps. 17 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, and Aaron, saying,
• 12:34
  18 Cut you not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites
• 12:40
  from among the Levites. 19 but thus do unto them, that they may
• 12:45
  live and not die, and they approach unto the most holy
• 12:49
  things. Aaron and his son shall go in
• 12:52
  and appoint them everyone to his service and to his burden.
• 12:57
  They shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered
• 13:01
  unless they die. This is a very, very dangerous
• 13:06
  place, friends, in the presence of God.
• 13:09
  He's an all consuming fire, friends, and it is, it is a
• 13:18
  very, very heavy thing. It's a terrible thing to fall
• 13:25
  into the hands of a holy God. And yes, He is all love and God
• 13:31
  is love, but there's a side of God that we are uncomfortable
• 13:36
  with and He did not just stop being this way once grace came
• 13:42
  into play. Friends, you need to understand
• 13:47
  that God is the great I am. He's an all consuming fire and
• 13:53
  He dwells in unapproachable light and He is well pleased to
• 14:00
  reveal himself to mankind and He desires the relationship with
• 14:05
  us. But it is a terrible thing to
• 14:08
  fall into the hands of a mighty God. 21 And the Lord spoke unto
• 14:17
  Moses, saying, 22 Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon
• 14:23
  throughout the houses of the fathers, by their families, 23
• 14:27
  From 30 years old upward until 5050 years old.
• 14:32
  Shall you number them all that entered to perform the service,
• 14:36
  to do the work in the Tabernacle of the congregation?
• 14:39
  24 This is the service of the families of the Gershonites to
• 14:48
  serve for burdens. 25 And they shall bear the curtains of the
• 14:54
  Tabernacle, and the Tabernacle of the congregation, his
• 14:57
  covering, and the covering of the badger skins that is above
• 15:01
  it, and the hanging for the door of the Tabernacle of the
• 15:06
  congregation. So they had the duty of the soft
• 15:09
  things, these Gershonites. We saw the Kohatites had all of
• 15:13
  the most holy things. And then we see the Gershonites,
• 15:17
  even though they were the older of the tribe, and we see the
• 15:21
  Kohatites actually getting the most dignified position, even
• 15:27
  though they are second in line. But you see, these Gershonites,
• 15:30
  they're given charge of all of the soft things, 26 in the
• 15:36
  hangings of the court and the hangings for the door of the
• 15:39
  gate of the court, which is by the Tabernacle and by the altar,
• 15:43
  round and about in their cords, in the instruments of their
• 15:46
  service, and all that is made for them.
• 15:49
  So shall they serve. 27 At the appointment of Aaron and his
• 15:53
  sons shall be all the service of the sons of Gershonite, in all
• 15:58
  their burdens and in all their service, and you shall appoint
• 16:03
  unto them in charge of all their burdens.
• 16:06
  This is warring the warfare, friends.
• 16:09
  That is what is referenced here. And you need to know that when
• 16:12
  you enter into the service of the Lord, that is what it is.
• 16:16
  It is spiritual warfare. That's when the war begins
• 16:20
  friends, and we war on our knees and we tear down strongholds of
• 16:25
  opposition. You need to understand that the
• 16:29
  spiritual realm is just as real as the physical realm that you
• 16:34
  and I are accustomed to. Just because you can't see it
• 16:37
  doesn't mean that it's not happening.
• 16:40
  And when you enter into the service of the Lord, that is
• 16:42
  when you put a target on your back.
• 16:45
  The devil will leave you alone if you just are self
• 16:49
  destructing. But the moment you want to go
• 16:53
  and to actually teach people about the things of Yahweh, you
• 16:57
  put a target on your back. And this is what is referenced
• 17:00
  here. When they go into the service,
• 17:03
  they are warring in the warfare. 28 This is the service of the
• 17:09
  families of the sons of Gershon in the Tabernacle of the
• 17:13
  congregation, and their charge shall be under the hand of
• 17:17
  Itamar the son of Aaron the priest.
• 17:20
  So they had someone that they go to, and God does everything in
• 17:25
  order. He is not a disorderly, chaotic
• 17:28
  God. God does everything well, never
• 17:30
  forget that. 29 As for the sons of Murari, those shall number
• 17:37
  them after their families by the House of their fathers. 30 From
• 17:42
  30 years old upward, even under 50 years old, shall you number
• 17:46
  them. Everyone that enters into the
• 17:48
  service to do the work of the Tabernacle of the congregation.
• 17:52
  31 This is the charge of their burden according to all the
• 17:57
  service in the Tabernacle of the congregation, the boards of the
• 18:01
  Tabernacle, the bars thereof, the pillars thereof, and the
• 18:05
  sockets thereof. So you see this family of the
• 18:07
  Murari, and you see that they are given charge of all of the
• 18:11
  hard things, the boards and all of the sockets, and everything
• 18:16
  that is not soft or holy. They were in charge of 32 and
• 18:23
  the pillars of the court, round and about their sockets, their
• 18:27
  pins, their cords, and all their instruments, with all their
• 18:30
  service and by name you shall reckon the instruments of the
• 18:34
  charge of their burden. 33 This is the service of the families
• 18:39
  of the sons of Morari, according to all their service in the
• 18:43
  Tabernacle of the congregation under the hand of Itamar, the
• 18:47
  son of Aaron the priest. 34 and Aaron and Moses and Aaron and
• 18:52
  the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the
• 18:55
  Kohetites, after their families and after their House of their
• 18:58
  fathers. 35 From 30 years old and upward, even under 50 years
• 19:03
  old, everyone that enters into the service for the of the
• 19:07
  Tabernacle of the congregation. 36 and those that were numbered

  of them by their families were 2700 and 5037.

  These were they that were numbered of the families of the
• 19:20
  Kohathites, and that might do service in the Tabernacle of the
• 19:24
  congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to
• 19:28
  the commandment of the Lord by the hand of Moses. 38 And those

  that were numbered of the sons of Gershon throughout their
• 19:36
  families and by the House of their fathers, 39 from 30 years
• 19:40
  old and upward, even under 50 years old, everyone that enters
• 19:43
  into the surface for the work in the Tabernacle of the

  congregation. 40 Even those that were numbered of them throughout
• 19:51
  their families by the House of their fathers.

  There were 2600 thirty 41. These are they that were
• 19:59
  numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that

  might do the service in the Tabernacle of the congregation

  whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of

  the Lord. 42 And those that were numbered of the families of the

  44 Even those that were numbered of them after their families

  were 3245. These be those that were

  numbered of the families of the sons of Murari, who Moses and

  Aaron numbered according to the word of the Lord by the hand of
• 20:44
  Moses. 46. All those that were numbered in
• 20:47
  the Levites, who Moses and Aaron and the chief of Israel numbered
• 20:52
  after their families and after the House of their fathers, 47
• 20:57
  From 30 years old and upward, even under 50 years old.

  Everyone that came to do the service of the ministry and the
• 21:04
  service of the burden and the Tabernacle of the congregation.

  So there we are friends. We have a God of order and God

  wanted them to number, signifying that they belong to

  Him, and He wanted to put them in their proper place where they

  would know what to do when the pillar of fire by night, in the

  cloud by day move. They would know it was time to
• 22:00
  pack up and to leave and everybody would have their
• 22:04
  responsibility. That is the God that we serve.

  He wants us to know that we are all part of the body of Christ
• 22:14
  and we all serve different functions that make up the
• 22:17
  totality. It makes up the whole friends.
• 22:20
  We are His hands and feet friends and that is what is
• 22:24
  referenced here in the New Testament.
• 22:27
  That is, our call is to be the body of Christ, and when Jesus
• 22:34
  moves, we move with Him. Anywhere He goes, that's where
• 22:37
  we go. Wherever He is, that's where we
• 22:39
  want to be. We don't even care about
• 22:41
  anything in this world. We only want what He wants.
• 22:45
  We only want to go where He goes.
• 22:47
  He's worthy of all service unto Himself.
• 22:52
  He's holy and we are blessed beyond measure to know Him and
• 22:57
  to be known by Him and to serve Him.

  Lord, help us to love our neighbors as ourself.
• 23:04
  Help us to wash the feet of those who go onto the mountains
• 23:09
  and spread the gospel. But how would they know if
• 23:12
  there's not a preacher? I pray that missionaries are
• 23:15
  raised up today. I pray that preachers step into
• 23:19
  their faithful calling today. I pray that Bible students will
• 23:23
  learn and be able to share in a way that actually changes lives
• 23:29
  today. I pray against the spirit of
• 23:32
  Mammon in our culture today. And I pray that we'll step
• 23:36
  faithfully into the service of God regardless of any of the
• 23:41
  monetary values attached to it. That we'll serve because we love
• 23:47
  Him and because we are loved by Him, and because He loved us
• 23:50
  first. It's easy.
• 23:52
  I pray that you've been blessed by this amazing chapter in God's
• 23:55
  Word. I know I sure have.
