You know, one of the big reasons why a lot of atheists have

abandoned the God is because of what they feel Christianity did

to them. A lot of people, whenever they

join Christianity, they have this idea that you're joining a

family, you're going to be a part of a community, you're

going to be a part of something that, you know, a bunch of

people are agreeable, that they'll tolerate you, that

they're kind and that they're striving to be like Jesus.

I mean, that's the very definition of Christian, is to

be like Christ, to strive to be Christ like.

But the problem is, is whether you're new to the faith or

you've been in it for a while, you start realizing that the

Bible wasn't lying whenever it said that the churches are

filled with sinners. The churches are filled with

people who claim to be this and that, and then they turn out not

to be anything like what you expected.

It can be very jarring whenever you become a part of

Christianity and you think, oh boy, I'm going to make a bunch

of friends. There's even some people who

join churches because they want that relationship with God, but

they also are hoping that while they're a part of church that

they're going to find a good woman, someone who's going to

treat them right. Some people go to church simply

so they can socialize and hang out with people and make friends

and, and even pick up a woman or a husband or something like

that. Because there's this idea in

their head that if you're a Christian, then most likely

you're going to live with the tenants and you're going to

treat your husbands right and your wives and all this.

Unfortunately, if you spend any amount of time in any churches,

you're going to find out very quickly that there's a lot of

preachers that peddle off a lot of things, but they tend to not

live as they claim that everybody else should.

It's like they preach, but they don't walk the walk.

They just talk. Well, the same thing can be said

about social media Christians. If you go try to hang out with a

lot of Christians and they get to know you and they start

feeling comfortable, a lot of them will behind the scenes,

they'll cuss, they'll say a lot of things and stuff that they

wouldn't do on video. And I've noticed that also with

non believers as well. It's everybody seems to be

whether they're religious or non believer, everybody talks one

way when they're not on video, but then whenever you're they

get comfortable with you, suddenly all kinds of things

start spilling out of them. It's interesting.

I'll give you an example, like some of these Christians who get

on video and act very self-righteous, like they're the

teacher's pet, like everybody should listen to them because

they everything that they say is from the lips of God himself.

And then there's atheist out there who say I don't need God,

I don't need the Bible, I don't need any of the stuff.

I live a good life. I have plenty of meaning in my

life. I'm very happy and so on.

You spend a little bit of time with any of these atheists, and

sooner or later they're going to tell you that they have family

problems. They're going to tell you that

they're severely depressed. Some of them will even admit and

concede that they're suicidal. Some of them will tell you how

they feel as though they were abandoned by religious family

members or friends, things like that.

And the same goes for religious people.

I can't tell you how many times I was sitting there with a

religious person having a conversation and just some of

the stuff comes off rough. I've even had some Christians

tell me, Brad, if you acted this way or you did this thing, then

everything would be fine. I had Christians that got angry

at me a while back because I still hold to a position called

Christianity in it. You still strive to be like

Christ, but the idea is that God is capable of all things

including chaos, destruction, disorder, and many things that a

lot of Christians don't want to admit.

Makes it very difficult for atheists to argue against a guy

like me because I already allow for there to be evil and

I'm not going to try to argue that God is all loving.

Sure, you can pull out a little passage here and there where it

However, the Bible also says in Psalms 55 God hates all workers

of iniquity. And what this means is those who

committed iniquity are the ones who transgress against the law.

Well, since the Bible says that everyone sends and not one of us

is good, we all have iniquity, then according to the Old

Testament, God hates us all. I mean, that's just, it's that

simple, ladies and gentlemen, saying that you don't wish

someone to perish, yet turning around and saying that you hate

people who disobey you and go against you.

Well, that's the thing. There's a lot of I take the

I've always been a common sense type of guy.

I absolutely accept that the Bible has many different layers

to it and that there is different meanings and some

things, but a majority of the Bible for me says what it says.

I don't feel like I gotta try to make God look like the good guy

whenever, not every time in the Bible is he even trying to

represent himself as good. I don't think that God was

trying to tell the human race that he loved them and cared

about them whenever he flooded the entire world and saved only

I don't believe when God sent the Angel death into Egypt and

killed all the first born of Egypt and turned the water into

blood was an act of love or kindness or mercy or compassion

in any kind of way. I believe that God was angry.

I believe that God was frustrated with humanity, was

So I'm not one of these type of religious people who are going

to run around like a chicken with my head cut off and tell

you that any of that stuff in the Old Testament was an act of

love or kindness. In fact, I'll go so far as to

saying that had I been God, I probably would have handled

things in a different way or I would have tried other

alternatives. Some Christians might argue,

well, if you read the Bible, God did try this and he did try

that, and he did warn people. And that's true to say.

And a lot of the passages, God did warn people.

He said, look, if this happens, this happens, this is the

consequences of it. And whenever he sent out his

prophets and his men of the Old Testament, he actually said

things like you can warn them, you can stand at their cities

and let them know that if they don't surrender, if they don't

the place. Men, women and children,

So that's why I've always held to the position of maltheism,

because I believe that God is capable of being loving,

merciful, compassionate. But I also believe that God is

capable of cruelty, terrifying aspects, that he could turn the

God can choose to accept only those who obey him or that he

believes, support whatever message he's trying to put out,

I know some Christians are going to say, well God already limited

I believe that people get this idea the same way people

Unfortunately, some of the most evil people that exists in this

world are churchgoers, the people who run big mega churches

It's all about money. It's all about passing around a

and they'll look clean cut and they'll look sweet and

wonderful, and they'll claim that they're a part of a

community that loves its fellow man.

I can't tell you how many times in the past, whenever the

economy got so nasty and inflation was up so high that my

wife and I, we didn't even know if we were going to be able to

eat that month. We didn't know how we were going

to pay our bills and also be able to afford food, nor how

were we going to afford fixing our automobiles and doing this

kind of thing. For the last couple years, I

struggled because I wasn't making enough money to be able

to get a new computer. I eventually did, though.

I just recently, in the last couple weeks, got me a new

computer and it's doing pretty good.

It's doing what I needed to do. And because the other one was

failing, I had to do all these things on my own.

I didn't have anybody supporting me.

I didn't have anybody given out. The new computer actually came

from a family member that is connected with my wife on her

side. The person liked what I was

doing, enjoyed what I was doing and asked me if I needed

But this person isn't the heavenly religious person.

This person isn't, you know, all up in Christianity's grill and

doesn't go to church. They just enjoy what I do.

So they supported me. I don't think that I've actually

had any. Real Christians are the ones

that claim to be real Christians.

Not only have they not supported me, not only have they lacked in

helping me out financially, which you see a lot of atheists

do for each other, but a lot of them won't even be good friends.

Believe it or not, I'm not and I, I want people to know I'm not

here. There has been absolutely no

real friendship I have found while being a part of religion

or being a part of Christianity. I've had a lot of atheists who

I felt like I was surrounded by hypocrisy.

I felt like a lot of damage was being done to me spiritually and

emotionally back then, whenever I was a former religious person.

Well, I feel the same way. I've been feeling that way for a

very long time. I feel as though Christianity

and religion has caused me more pain than it has joy and

happiness. I feel like if someone were to

ask me to defend Christianity, I'd have a very difficult time

doing that because I wouldn't feel good about it.

In my heart, I'm able to debate about God and I'm able to do

videos about God and discuss God because I believe strongly in

it. And when you believe in

something strongly, it gives you the motivation and the desire to

be able to step up to the plate when you need to.

I think at the end of the day, and I know this is going to piss

off a lot of religious folks, but I think that people need to

step away from religion. I think that religion is poison.

I think that you need to focus on your relationship with God.

I think that if you need someone to talk to and you can't find a

Christian, then you may want to start spending more time alone,

praying directly out to God. If you ask God to bring people

into your life, there's a good chance that that may not happen.

If you pray for things that involve other human beings,

new fancy car, God, I want more friends and family in my life

but ultimately it's going to be these People's Choice.

God's not going to brainwash your mom's and your dad's, your

brothers and sisters, your former friends to do the right

why it seems like in this world that a lot of prayers don't get

You're asking for God to take away people's free will and just

listen to them, I rate up their videos, I subscribe to them.

attended my live show. Either they will ignore you or

they will say, what denomination are you?

What, what part of Christianity are you into?

And if you answer any of these questions wrong, they'll

Adventist or Jehovah Witnesses or this.

It's always some kind of justification or excuse why it

is that religious people won't unite and just be friends with

each other or connect. Now religious people seem to go

out of their way to be able to argue with atheist because they

believe that they're commanded to go do that.

They think they'll anger God if they don't put some forth of

effort to go bullshit some non believer into their particular

concept of religion. They feel like they have to do
