- 0:17SPEAKER_00: Over the last few days, we've been talking about developing a growth-oriented mindset.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: This is a mindset that's not fixed in place, but is instead flexible and ready to grow.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: After you have prepared by tilling the soil of your mind, you've planted by keeping track of your ideas, you've watered your mind by reading, you've pruned the dead weight from your schedule, and you've harvested your creativity by getting your writing done, it's important to celebrate by enjoying your success.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: For some reason, writers have a hard time being content with any amount of success that we have.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's jealousy or mentality that says, whatever we've achieved, it's not enough.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's an attitude that we've inherited from our family that we can never be good enough.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: Whatever the case, it's vital to recognize that whenever you write, you've done something worth celebrating.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: It doesn't need to be a big giant ego boost.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: You can celebrate in a way that inspires others and doesn't put yourself in the spotlight.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Whenever you accomplish something worthwhile, take a moment to stop and recognize the value of what you've done.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: Take pride in your work.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: Enjoy your success.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: I believe that if you don't develop this habit of celebration, you'll never be happy with your achievements.
