- 0:11Speaker 1: And as we get to know Angie the new co
- 0:14Speaker 1: host here on Big ninety eight point seven, there are
- 0:17Speaker 1: some vital questions I.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Want to ask you here.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Oh, okay, and uh, we're.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Gonna find out. We're going to learn a little bit
- 0:24Speaker 1: about you here this morning.
- 0:26Speaker 2: All right. Have you ever heard of the game? Would
- 0:28Speaker 2: you rather?
- 0:29Speaker 4: Yes?
- 0:29Speaker 5: I have?
- 0:29Speaker 1: Well, I have some of those questions here for you today,
- 0:32Speaker 1: jes so we can get.
- 0:33Speaker 2: To know you a little bit. Are you ready?
- 0:35Speaker 3: Yes? I'm ready?
- 0:36Speaker 2: All right, Angie?
- 0:37Speaker 4: Is this like a speed like lightning?
- 0:38Speaker 3: Rounder?
- 0:39Speaker 2: One word answers?
- 0:40Speaker 3: Okay, all right?
- 0:42Speaker 1: Tacos or Hamburgers, Tacos, roller coasters or the pool?
- 0:46Speaker 3: The pool?
- 0:48Speaker 2: Really?
- 0:49Speaker 3: Oh we're opposite people already, Yes.
- 0:52Speaker 4: The pool.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I'd like the pool as well, but I like the
- 0:55Speaker 1: wild that. I like roller coasters, thrill rides.
- 0:58Speaker 4: I'm trying to lay out by the pool and get
- 1:00Speaker 4: so tanned.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Okay, fair enough, all right, Angie, beer or wine Margarita's.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Okay?
- 1:08Speaker 1: Sorry, I should have added that one in there. Okay,
- 1:11Speaker 1: going out or staying in.
- 1:13Speaker 5: Oh, that's a tough one. You know what I'm gonna say,
- 1:16Speaker 5: going out. I've got kids, so I'm always staying in.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, going out the handful of times, maybe you
- 1:23Speaker 1: get to go out. It's pretty fun.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I love it, all right?
- 1:26Speaker 2: Winter or summer.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Oh, that's a tough one. Summer all day baby.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Okay, all right.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Here's kind of an interesting one. Smartphone or television. Now
- 1:39Speaker 1: you can have a regular phone, but it can only
- 1:42Speaker 1: make calls and texts. So would you rather have your
- 1:45Speaker 1: smartphone or television.
- 1:48Speaker 3: I'm gonna go with television.
- 1:49Speaker 2: And you'd go with a dumb phone.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Yeah, okay.
- 1:52Speaker 5: Because I'm a Bravo holic, all things Bravo. That's my
- 1:55Speaker 5: favorite network, Real Housewives, Below Deck, Summer House, Southern Charm,
- 1:59Speaker 5: all of the Bravos shows.
- 2:02Speaker 3: I can't live without them, Gabe.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Okay, I've just two more for you here, Angie. Camping
- 2:06Speaker 1: or a hotel.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Glamping that's in the middle.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, you're right. It's like a fancy airbnb.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Now it can be an RV, but like super nice.
- 2:17Speaker 2: With air conditions. Yes, all right.
- 2:19Speaker 1: And then finally, this is a big one here, Angie. Okay,
- 2:22Speaker 1: buffalo or.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Bison bison obviously.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Today's variety big ninety eight point seven. Mostly sunny today,
- 2:32Speaker 1: a high of sixty three. I will say, though very
- 2:35Speaker 1: foggy this morning. I'd be safe on those commutes as
- 2:38Speaker 1: you head on out the door this am. I have
- 2:41Speaker 1: some people coming to visit my house pretty soon here, Angie.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Not for anything other than they're just coming to visit.
- 2:47Speaker 1: There's no, that's nice.
- 2:48Speaker 3: They just like you.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Yeah, there's no events, no easter, nothing like that. And
- 2:52Speaker 1: I am not like the biggest fan of having people over,
- 2:57Speaker 1: not necessarily because I don't love them and a pre them.
- 3:00Speaker 1: But there's always something you had to clean up that
- 3:03Speaker 1: you didn't know, or there's something that got rearranged in
- 3:06Speaker 1: some room that now you gotta It's really just me
- 3:09Speaker 1: being lazy to clean up after my buddies come to
- 3:11Speaker 1: town and we wreak havoc on South Fargo.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Basically, right, But you said that they rearrange furniture.
- 3:17Speaker 3: That's not a good house guest.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Well, I don't know about that, but like blankets are
- 3:21Speaker 1: always moved, they're not in the spot that they normally are.
- 3:25Speaker 2: And you gotta find but.
- 3:26Speaker 4: At least there are blankets.
- 3:29Speaker 5: Because and I know this can't just be me. I
- 3:31Speaker 5: feel like this is a universal problem. A lot of
- 3:34Speaker 5: times you go and visit someone and they ask you
- 3:36Speaker 5: to stay, but they don't have any blankets for you,
- 3:40Speaker 5: so you're just lying down on the couch and like
- 3:43Speaker 5: trying to use the couch cushion as a blanket. Like
- 3:47Speaker 5: I one time I was staying at my friend's house.
- 3:51Speaker 5: It was one of those I didn't expect to stay
- 3:53Speaker 5: over because we were having a few cocktails, sure.
- 3:56Speaker 4: And so she was like, oh, well, you could just
- 3:58Speaker 4: stay here, it's fine, whatever.
- 4:00Speaker 5: But the girl didn't give me a blanket, and I
- 4:03Speaker 5: was too nervous and scared to ask. And I know
- 4:06Speaker 5: she's my friend, but there's something about staying in someone
- 4:08Speaker 5: else's home you don't or I don't wanna bother.
- 4:11Speaker 4: And so I was freezing in the middle of the night.
- 4:14Speaker 5: And I went and I got the dish towels that
- 4:16Speaker 5: I saw in the kitchen. Oh no, and I wrapped
- 4:19Speaker 5: them like around my ankles, and I thought.
- 4:22Speaker 4: This is this is good, this is fine, this is fine.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Right.
- 4:25Speaker 1: You know, if you don't know this about Angie, just
- 4:28Speaker 1: know that when she sleeps over at your house, rather
- 4:31Speaker 1: than ask you for a blanket, she's gonna go find
- 4:33Speaker 1: some paper plates to try to her up her ankles.
- 4:36Speaker 1: With today's variety, Big ninety eight point seven. Mostly sunny
- 4:42Speaker 1: today a high of sixty three, but your morning will
- 4:45Speaker 1: be pretty foggy as you head on out the door,
- 4:47Speaker 1: so I'll be safe with that. Also, do not forget
- 4:49Speaker 1: Diamond days and giveaways coming up at seven eleven.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Have you got yourself registered?
- 4:54Speaker 1: Text the word diamond to seven oh one two eight
- 4:56Speaker 1: zero one nine eight seven, go to Big nine eighty
- 4:59Speaker 1: seven dot com and qualified. We might be calling you
- 5:02Speaker 1: at seven eleven Tier today on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 5:07Speaker 5: Gabe, are you up to date on all things Bachelor Nation?
- 5:12Speaker 2: No? I don't know if I've ever been up to
- 5:14Speaker 2: date on all things gory? Has I have not?
- 5:16Speaker 5: Well, that's fine, but there is something that went viral
- 5:20Speaker 5: that I feel like we need to discuss. Caitlin Bristow,
- 5:23Speaker 5: who was on the Bachelorette.
- 5:25Speaker 3: I believe it was.
- 5:27Speaker 5: She has this ex who was also part of Bachelor Nation.
- 5:30Speaker 5: It's like, once you're on the Bachelor Bachelorette, you're all
- 5:32Speaker 5: connected forever So Caitlin and Jason dated for a while
- 5:36Speaker 5: and then it ended and it didn't end great. So
- 5:40Speaker 5: there's some like animosity there.
- 5:43Speaker 2: And it's been end great. I want to shocker yea.
- 5:46Speaker 5: So she revealed though that she's super angry with him
- 5:50Speaker 5: because and I feel like any woman out there who's
- 5:54Speaker 5: ever made a list of baby names will feel this
- 5:57Speaker 5: in their soul. Her ex, Jason Tart, announced that he
- 6:01Speaker 5: has named his dog Teddy.
- 6:05Speaker 4: And the issue with that is that that was always.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Her dream baby name, no way.
- 6:11Speaker 5: And she had told him about it, she said early
- 6:14Speaker 5: on in their conversations when they were dating, she had
- 6:16Speaker 5: always said that if she has a baby, she wants
- 6:18Speaker 5: to name the baby Teddy. So now fast forward, they've
- 6:21Speaker 5: broken up and he got a dog and then named
- 6:24Speaker 5: the dog Teddy.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Do you think he's doing this out of pettiness or
- 6:28Speaker 1: did he just forget? Because I hear friends say, oh,
- 6:30Speaker 1: I'd name my kid this all the time and I
- 6:32Speaker 1: never remember it.
- 6:33Speaker 5: I feel like that's not something you forget. If you
- 6:35Speaker 5: were with the person for so long and you guys
- 6:38Speaker 5: discussed baby names, you cannot then use that baby name
- 6:42Speaker 5: to name your dog.
- 6:44Speaker 4: I feel like that's so disrespectful baby.
- 6:46Speaker 2: He is a giant Ed Sheeran fan, but no, you
- 6:51Speaker 2: never know.
- 6:52Speaker 4: No, I don't like it.
- 6:53Speaker 5: So it was that he got this dog and then
- 6:56Speaker 5: people were commenting like, oh, what should I name the dog?
- 6:58Speaker 5: So people were in the comment and then he settled
- 7:01Speaker 5: on Teddy, and I think maybe he's trying to use
- 7:03Speaker 5: that as well.
- 7:04Speaker 3: A lot of people said Teddy.
- 7:06Speaker 4: So I did Teddy, but I don't like it. Not
- 7:08Speaker 4: a fan.
- 7:09Speaker 3: I'm team Caitlin on this one.
- 7:11Speaker 5: And I was thinking, if anybody stole my kids' names,
- 7:15Speaker 5: I'd be really upset, except for the fact that I
- 7:17Speaker 5: named my kids Aidan and Liam, and those are the
- 7:19Speaker 5: most basic names on the planet, right, But I do
- 7:23Speaker 5: have a girl name that I never used and this baby.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Factory is closed.
- 7:28Speaker 5: Okay, So, FM area, if you are going to have
- 7:31Speaker 5: a baby girl, you might want to consider the name
- 7:34Speaker 5: a less Sadi.
- 7:36Speaker 2: So if I get a new dog, I'm ALA's good
- 7:38Speaker 2: to go.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Yeah, that's fine.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Okay, Well, FM area, if you happen to take the
- 7:43Speaker 1: name Graham from me, if you get a dog and
- 7:46Speaker 1: name in Graham, I am going to absolutely lose my mind. Okay,
- 7:49Speaker 1: I need the gg to continue going in the glitten
- 7:52Speaker 1: Factory was Big eight point seven.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Today's variety Big ninety eight point seven.
- 7:59Speaker 1: An excellent flannel Friday today mostly sunny, a high of
- 8:03Speaker 1: sixty three. That's actually flirting, Angie with being too warm.
- 8:07Speaker 5: But you look good in this flannel, James, So I'm
- 8:09Speaker 5: glad you got to bust it out at least maybe
- 8:11Speaker 5: this one last Friday.
- 8:12Speaker 2: That's right, all right, it's.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Time for some good Gabe's good news of the day
- 8:18Speaker 1: to take you on into the weekend, and I think
- 8:20Speaker 1: we'll be okay, AI chat GBT whatever. It's probably not
- 8:23Speaker 1: gonna take your job, but it can be very beneficial
- 8:26Speaker 1: and potentially saved your life. There is a woman named Natalie.
- 8:30Speaker 1: She's twenty eight years old and she's pregnant. She started
- 8:33Speaker 1: feeling a tight feeling in her jaw when she turned
- 8:36Speaker 1: to chat GPT for some medical advice. The AI suggested
- 8:40Speaker 1: she checked her blood pressure, which read one forty two over.
- 8:44Speaker 2: One oh nine, and it continued to rise.
- 8:46Speaker 1: After another high reading, chat GPT advised her to call
- 8:50Speaker 1: an ambulance now, which she did right away. Of course,
- 8:54Speaker 1: paramedics transported Terry into the hospital, where her blood pressure
- 8:57Speaker 1: had reached two hundred over one.
- 9:01Speaker 4: How is that even possible?
- 9:02Speaker 1: I was gonna say, I don't know a ton about
- 9:04Speaker 1: the health field, but that doesn't sound great.
- 9:06Speaker 3: No, it's terrible.
- 9:08Speaker 1: The doctors diagnosed her with pre clampsey, which is a
- 9:14Speaker 1: serious pregnancy related blood pressure condition that can have long
- 9:17Speaker 1: term health consequences. They decided to induce labor right away
- 9:22Speaker 1: and her baby was born safely, But two days later,
- 9:26Speaker 1: the new mom suddenly lost her eyesight. Here's the good part.
- 9:31Speaker 1: She underwent an emergency MRI, which ruled out brain swelling,
- 9:35Speaker 1: and her vision did return within a day or two.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Terrian recalls the doctor telling her that she likely would
- 9:41Speaker 1: not have survived the night had she not, or if
- 9:45Speaker 1: she had went to sleep without seeking medical help. She
- 9:48Speaker 1: shared the story on social media, and as you can imagine,
- 9:51Speaker 1: it blew up and the entire internet has basically seen
- 9:55Speaker 1: it or will see it at some point. The baby
- 9:57Speaker 1: and her are now recovering. They are both healthy, and surprisingly,
- 10:02Speaker 1: there is a person who has chat GPT to thank
- 10:06Speaker 1: for saving their life. Wow, which is something I never
- 10:09Speaker 1: thought i'd say, see, but very very cool.
- 10:11Speaker 2: So I know.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Chat GPT reminds me of sort of like social media
- 10:15Speaker 1: It's like a love hate thing.
- 10:16Speaker 4: For sure, but like fine one point for chat.
- 10:19Speaker 1: GPT they get a W in the wind column today.
- 10:22Speaker 1: The world is full of nice people. If you can't
- 10:24Speaker 1: find one, you gotta be one. Portugal The Man is
- 10:27Speaker 1: on big at ninety eight point seven. Happy Friday, ninety
- 10:32Speaker 1: eight point
