- 0:00Speaker 1: So he makes this ointment, this mud pie, this clay pack,
- 0:08Speaker 1: and puts it on the blind man's eye and says
- 0:12Speaker 1: to the blind man, go. Wait a minute. I still
- 0:19Speaker 1: can't see. And if anything, I'm worse now than I
- 0:28Speaker 1: was before. Because even if I could see, I can't
- 0:34Speaker 1: see through what you put on me. Greetings, brothers and
- 0:47Speaker 1: sisters in Jesus name, grace and peace be multiplied unto
- 0:51Speaker 1: you from God, our father and the Lord. Jesus Christ,
- 0:54Speaker 1: I'm so blessed and so honored to be able to
- 0:56Speaker 1: share this series with you. I believe that it is
- 0:59Speaker 1: a secret weapon to the serious soldier who is ready
- 1:02Speaker 1: to go in and take back what the enemy has
- 1:04Speaker 1: stole from them. I'm teaching on blind faith. And particularly today,
- 1:09Speaker 1: we're going to be talking about the blame game. So
- 1:12Speaker 1: many people spend so much of their life blaming this
- 1:15Speaker 1: one and that one and the other one for what's
- 1:17Speaker 1: going on in their life. Shake it off. Move into
- 1:21Speaker 1: your destiny. The blame game. This is the word for you.
- 1:27Speaker 1: I did not know that God could be glorified through
- 1:33Speaker 1: something that was not beautiful. To something that was not perfect.
- 1:41Speaker 1: He said, this man is like this, not because of
- 1:44Speaker 1: what his mother did, not because of what his father did,
- 1:46Speaker 1: but I planned his blindness for my glory. That's why
- 1:54Speaker 1: you're single. So I could be glorified in your singleness.
- 2:00Speaker 1: That's why you're married. So I could be glorified in
- 2:04Speaker 1: your marriage. That's why your home isn't perfect. So I
- 2:08Speaker 1: could be glorified in the imperfection. I made it what
- 2:12Speaker 1: it is so you could see glory in a way
- 2:16Speaker 1: you couldn't see it. Don't fix it. Be glorified in it. Oh,
- 2:21Speaker 1: y'all don't want to talk to me. I wish I
- 2:23Speaker 1: had some help this morning. I wish I had some help.
- 2:26Speaker 1: I wish I had some help. The only reason we
- 2:31Speaker 1: have a need to blame is because we're disappointed in
- 2:35Speaker 1: the outcome. And the disappointment in the outcome suggests there's
- 2:42Speaker 1: something wrong with where you are. So the way you
- 2:48Speaker 1: cope with the disappointment with you Is by blaming me.
- 2:56Speaker 1: So you make me your scapegoat. But Christ already is.
- 3:03Speaker 1: That's too theological. I'm not going to bother that. I'm
- 3:05Speaker 1: not going to drop over into that.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Christ says.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Don't blame his mother. Don't blame his father. Whatever was
- 3:16Speaker 1: wrong with them. I could have made that work. He said,
- 3:20Speaker 1: if you're going to blame anybody, blame me. Because I'm
- 3:29Speaker 1: going to use his blindness for my glory. I'm going
- 3:40Speaker 1: to use her brokenness for my glory. I'm going to
- 3:47Speaker 1: use his emptiness for my glory. I'm going to use
- 3:53Speaker 1: her thirstiness for my glory. Don't make them over. Leave
- 3:57Speaker 1: them alone. Stop trying to fix them. That's my child.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Leave her alone.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I made her this way because I have an appointment
- 4:07Speaker 1: with her. And when the time is right and the
- 4:10Speaker 1: stage is set, I'm going to heal her where I
- 4:13Speaker 1: can get the most glory. Somebody help me pray them
- 4:18Speaker 1: just 10 seconds. Touch five people and say, you have
- 4:28Speaker 1: an appointment, you have an appointment, you have an appointment.
- 4:31Speaker 1: You have an appointment. You have an appointment. You have
- 4:33Speaker 1: an appointment. You have an appointment. You have an appointment.
- 4:37Speaker 1: You have an appointment. You don't even know it. You
- 4:39Speaker 1: don't even know it. You don't even know it. You
- 4:41Speaker 1: don't even know it. You're just sitting on the side
- 4:42Speaker 1: of the road, minding your own business, not even realizing
- 4:46Speaker 1: that you have an appointment with destiny. You don't have
- 4:49Speaker 1: to fast for it. You don't have to pray for it.
- 4:51Speaker 1: You don't have to beg for it. All you got
- 4:54Speaker 1: to do is do you. And while you do you,
- 4:58Speaker 1: I'm going to meet you in the middle of the road. Oh,
- 5:09Speaker 1: I don't know who this is for, but this is
- 5:11Speaker 1: for somebody.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Sit down, sit down. We just talked about it. We
- 5:16Speaker 2: just talked about it. I don't know why.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Y'all keep jumping up, but I feel the anointing of
- 5:22Speaker 1: the Holy Ghost. I feel the spirit of the living God.
- 5:25Speaker 1: I feel the glory of the Lord. The blind man
- 5:28Speaker 1: said nothing.
- 5:31Speaker 2: And the miracle came to him.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Be still. And see the salvation. See the salvation coming.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Of the Lord.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Stand still blind man.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Don't scream.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Don't holler.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Don't cry out. I'm going to get the glory. All
- 5:52Speaker 1: you got to do. Is be there when I get there.
- 5:56Speaker 1: So this is what happened. I'm still in the first verse.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I got to get out of that first verse.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Jesus. Passes by. Sees the blind man.
- 6:14Speaker 1: They have a discussion about the blind man. The blind
- 6:18Speaker 1: man says nothing at all. Jesus of his own volition
- 6:23Speaker 1: says this man is blind for my glory.
- 6:31Speaker 2: That means there's nothing wrong with him. He is doing
- 6:44Speaker 2: What I created him. To do. So you think.
- 6:52Speaker 1: That in order for him to be right. He has
- 6:54Speaker 1: to be like you. And that's why you blame people.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Because you think that you are the standard of right.
- 7:03Speaker 1: When for him. Being blind is right. I need him
- 7:06Speaker 1: to be blind. Because I'm going to show. Oh y'all
- 7:09Speaker 1: don't hear what I'm saying.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Okay. Watch this. So Jesus says, can I go a
- 7:17Speaker 2: little bit further?
- 7:20Speaker 1: Jesus, he doesn't do like the other man. Remember a
- 7:24Speaker 1: few weeks ago about the blind man? He spat in
- 7:27Speaker 1: his eye. He doesn't spit in the guy's eye, no.
- 7:31Speaker 1: He doesn't want you to fall in love with the
- 7:33Speaker 1: method of his last miracles. So he doesn't allow you
- 7:38Speaker 1: to synchronize five steps to be healed. Because every time
- 7:43Speaker 1: he does it different so that you don't fall in
- 7:45Speaker 1: love with the process. But fall in love with the
- 7:48Speaker 1: God of the process. Just because he brought you out
- 7:51Speaker 1: through him last time doesn't mean he's going to use
- 7:54Speaker 1: him next time. He may use her. Because God wants
- 7:57Speaker 1: you to know that it's really not him, him or her.
- 8:01Speaker 2: It's God. Y'all don't hear what I'm saying to you.
- 8:08Speaker 1: So watch this, watch this, watch this. Can I think
- 8:10Speaker 1: this text on out? Can I think this text on out?
- 8:13Speaker 1: So Jesus says, neither have done this. It's been done
- 8:17Speaker 1: for the glory of God. And then he spits on
- 8:21Speaker 1: the ground, not in the eye, on the ground, takes
- 8:30Speaker 1: his water and puts it in this dirt This fallen stuff.
- 8:42Speaker 1: And makes an ointment. And puts it on the.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Blind man's eyes.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Blind man still ain't said nothing. Just standing where he's
- 8:55Speaker 1: supposed to stand. Doing what he's supposed to do. The
- 9:01Speaker 1: miracle is coming to him. If you just stand where
- 9:09Speaker 1: you're supposed to stand and do what you're supposed to do.
- 9:13Speaker 2: The miracle... Watch this.
- 9:24Speaker 1: So he makes this ointment, this mud pie, this clay pack,
- 9:32Speaker 1: and puts it.
- 9:32Speaker 2: On the blind man's eye. And says to.
- 9:36Speaker 1: The blind man, go. Wait a minute. I still can't see.
- 9:47Speaker 1: And if anything, I'm worse now than I was before.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Because even if I could see, I can't see through
- 9:58Speaker 1: what you put on me. Have you ever had God
- 10:09Speaker 1: put something on you. And you say Lord with all
- 10:12Speaker 1: the stuff you put on me. I couldn't get up
- 10:15Speaker 1: even if I wanted to. And the Lord said to me.
- 10:23Speaker 1: He and I were talking about the scripture. He said,
- 10:25Speaker 1: watch the blind man go with more on him than
- 10:32Speaker 1: he had before he met me. Watch him go weighted
- 10:39Speaker 1: down with stuff I put on him. Watch the blind
- 10:46Speaker 1: man experience my touch without my healings. Watch the blind
- 10:56Speaker 1: man that I touched and he still can't see. And
- 11:00Speaker 1: yet I told him to go blind. Watch the blind
- 11:06Speaker 1: man find his way to the pool in the dark.
- 11:13Speaker 1: He said, because what I want you to do is
- 11:16Speaker 1: preach this. Because I'm going to have my children there
- 11:20Speaker 1: who are going through a season in your life. that
- 11:23Speaker 1: you have more on you than you had before you
- 11:27Speaker 1: met me. And you're trying to walk out your faith,
- 11:31Speaker 1: but you really can't see. He said, I want them
- 11:34Speaker 1: to understand that in order to get your miracle, you
- 11:37Speaker 1: have to take your first few steps in the dark.
- 11:42Speaker 1: For the just shall walk by faith, not by.
- 11:49Speaker 1: So whenever God tells you to do something, You can't
- 11:53Speaker 1: see your way clear. Because if you could see your
- 11:56Speaker 1: way clear, it wouldn't be by faith. That's how you
- 12:00Speaker 1: know it's by faith. When you're walking it out in
- 12:03Speaker 1: the dark. Somebody say, I'm walking it out in the dark, baby.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I'm walking it out in the dark. I'm walking through
- 12:09Speaker 1: this marriage in the dark. I'm walking through this job
- 12:12Speaker 1: in the dark. I'm walking it out in the dark.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I can't see, but I'm walking it out.
- 12:21Speaker 4: Still to come. On the Potter's Touch.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Still don't have extra money, but praise it. Still not married,
- 12:28Speaker 1: but praise it. Still got problems in the house, but
- 12:31Speaker 1: praise it. Haven't got the test results back, but praise it.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Going through a storm, but praise it. What you don't
- 12:40Speaker 1: realize is while you're praising him, you're dipping in the water.
- 12:45Speaker 1: And the more you dip in the water, the more
- 12:48Speaker 1: you can see. The emptiness of an open heart creates
- 12:57Speaker 1: a cavity for God to fill, but a closed mind
- 13:00Speaker 1: never receives anything from God. The only difference between you
- 13:04Speaker 1: and the person you admire is the perspective they have
- 13:07Speaker 1: on life.
- 13:08Speaker 4: When the one who gave you sight says, follow me,
- 13:11Speaker 4: let me lead the way, it's time for blind faith.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Don't allow people to anchor you down as an albatross
- 13:17Speaker 1: around your neck and leave you limited so that they
- 13:20Speaker 1: can have fellowship. and you can have failure. If you
- 13:23Speaker 1: are disciplined in your perspective, you will be victorious in
- 13:27Speaker 1: your outcome.
- 13:28Speaker 4: For helping us reach others with your best gift, we
- 13:30Speaker 4: would like to give you Blind Faith, four insightful messages
- 13:33Speaker 4: on DVD, and as a bonus, receive pecking orders on
- 13:37Speaker 4: DVD with a 2013 photo calendar reminding you that God
- 13:41Speaker 4: wants to position you for impact, expose you to powerful experiences,
- 13:45Speaker 4: give the courage to step out in faith, and the
- 13:48Speaker 4: knowledge to make a difference. Just visit our website or
- 13:52Speaker 4: call 1-800-BISHOP-2 today.
- 13:53Speaker 1: I think the perspective is critical in order for you
- 13:59Speaker 1: to be an overcomer, to be victorious. It's not what
- 14:02Speaker 1: happens to you. It's how you feel about what happens
- 14:05Speaker 1: to you. The ability to manage problems and situations is
- 14:09Speaker 1: what determines the CEO from the janitor.
- 14:12Speaker 2: I've been both.
- 14:14Speaker 1: And I can clearly tell you, the higher up you go,
- 14:17Speaker 1: the more problems you encounter. And your ability... To have
- 14:20Speaker 1: the proper perspective under fire is critical. And frankly, it
- 14:25Speaker 1: takes discipline. Because no matter who you are, where you are,
- 14:28Speaker 1: the heart trembles with fear. Your mind races with possibilities.
- 14:33Speaker 1: But if you can discipline yourself to hold on to
- 14:35Speaker 1: your perspective while you are under fire, you can overcome anything.
- 14:40Speaker 1: That takes discipline, not emotionalism. You can't dance your way
- 14:44Speaker 1: into this. You have to be sober and be vigilant.
- 14:49Speaker 1: because you're under fire your perspective is being attacked the
- 14:53Speaker 1: enemy is trying to make you think that you are
- 14:55Speaker 1: not coming out or that you don't have what it
- 14:57Speaker 1: takes or that you can't do it or that you
- 15:00Speaker 1: can't you can't you can't but if you can hold
- 15:02Speaker 1: on to your perspective and be disciplined enough to keep
- 15:06Speaker 1: the car in the middle of the road even though
- 15:07Speaker 1: the wind is rocking from side to side you'll drive
- 15:10Speaker 1: through the storm and when the storm is over you'll
- 15:13Speaker 1: still be standing somebody help me preach will you help
- 15:17Speaker 1: me preach Slap your neighbor and holler, go!
- 15:23Speaker 2: Go.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Go blind. Go broke. Go without backup. Go without support.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Go without recognition. Go in the middle of controversy. Go
- 15:38Speaker 1: while they're still blaming people. Go while they're still talking
- 15:41Speaker 1: about you. Go while you can't see your way clear.
- 15:45Speaker 1: But whatever you do, slap your name and holler, go.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Your healing is in the going. Your healing is in
- 15:54Speaker 1: the doing. Your healing is in the stretching out. most
- 16:23Speaker 1: of my life it's been like this just walking it
- 16:29Speaker 1: out I know you touched me I know you said
- 16:35Speaker 1: go I know you're from me but I'm walking it
- 16:41Speaker 1: out in the dark. I don't know who to trust.
- 16:47Speaker 1: I don't know who to open up to. I don't
- 16:50Speaker 1: know who to talk to. I don't know who my
- 16:53Speaker 1: friends are. I'm not sure that he's really my enemy,
- 16:57Speaker 1: but I'm dealing with them all the same way because
- 16:59Speaker 1: I can't see, I can't see. I can't see, I
- 17:01Speaker 1: can't see, I can't see. All I know is that
- 17:03Speaker 1: he that hath began a good work in me shall
- 17:06Speaker 1: perform it unto the day of Jesus Christ. You got
- 17:09Speaker 1: to walk it out in the dark. Abraham, where are
- 17:12Speaker 1: you going? He said, I don't know, but I'll know
- 17:14Speaker 1: when I get there. Whenever God gets ready to use anybody,
- 17:18Speaker 1: there is a certain amount of blindness that goes along
- 17:21Speaker 1: with faith.
- 17:26Speaker 2: So he says, oh, I ain't going to get finished, Jesus.
- 17:30Speaker 1: So he says, he says, go wash in the pool
- 17:39Speaker 1: of Siloam, which the Bible says is interpreted to mean sin.
- 17:43Speaker 2: You sent me like this.
- 17:49Speaker 1: You sent me all broken. You sent me bleeding. You
- 17:56Speaker 1: sent me blind? Yeah, you sent me? You mean you
- 18:01Speaker 1: can use me?
- 18:02Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 18:07Speaker 1: But Lord, I'm still feeling my own way.
- 18:10Speaker 2: He said, yeah, yeah.
- 18:13Speaker 1: The miracle's in the process. You got to make your
- 18:17Speaker 1: first few steps in the dark. Joshua had to set
- 18:20Speaker 1: his foot.
- 18:21Speaker 2: In the waters before the waters parted.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Naaman had to dip seven times before he could see
- 18:27Speaker 1: a change. Don't be frustrated because you don't see immediate results.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Keep on walking out the process. Keep on walking it out.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Keep on walking it out. I told the women, keep pecking.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Keep pecking. Keep pecking.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Keep pecking.
- 18:40Speaker 1: You'll get out if you keep pecking. And so he
- 18:48Speaker 1: comes to the pool First of all, wait a minute.
- 18:57Speaker 2: We missed it. We need to praise God because he
- 19:02Speaker 2: made it.
- 19:09Speaker 1: When, now if anybody else would have come to the pool,
- 19:13Speaker 1: we wouldn't have praised God because they could see. But
- 19:17Speaker 1: because of his liabilities, His success is somebody else's normal.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Nobody knows how hard it was for you to get
- 19:28Speaker 1: to where you are. So you can't wait on anybody
- 19:31Speaker 1: else to celebrate because they don't know what you had
- 19:34Speaker 1: to go through to get where you are. But when
- 19:37Speaker 1: you made it with your blind self, when you made
- 19:41Speaker 1: it with your lonely self, when you made it with
- 19:44Speaker 1: your broke self, don't forget to praise God just because
- 19:49Speaker 1: you made it. Give him a praise. Praise him. Praise
- 19:59Speaker 1: him because you are there. Pray them because you're in
- 20:05Speaker 1: the right spot at the right time to get the
- 20:09Speaker 1: miracle you need. Pray them.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Praise him.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Still can't see, but praise him. Still don't have extra money,
- 20:31Speaker 1: but praise him. Still not married, but praising. Still got
- 20:36Speaker 1: problems in the house, but praising. Hadn't got the test
- 20:40Speaker 1: results back, but praising. Going through a storm, but praising.
- 20:45Speaker 1: What you don't realize is while you're praising him, you're
- 20:50Speaker 1: dipping in the water. And the more you dip in
- 20:53Speaker 1: the water, the more you can see. Touch your neighbor.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Say neighbor. Excuse me. While I praise him. The more
- 21:14Speaker 1: I praise him. I'm washing this stuff. Out of my eyes.
- 21:21Speaker 1: For when praises go up.
- 21:26Speaker 2: I said when.
- 21:40Speaker 1: I'm praising God. I don't have no time to blame anybody.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I'm praising God. For this is the day, the day,
- 21:49Speaker 1: the day, the day that the Lord has made.
- 21:54Speaker 2: I will.
- 22:19Speaker 1: When, stand up, stand up. Well, y'all already standing. Boy,
- 22:27Speaker 1: you get your exercise in this church. I can't finish it.
- 22:37Speaker 1: But when this man started sin, he went back to
- 22:47Speaker 1: his neighbor's The same people who had seen him blind
- 22:54Speaker 1: convinced that he was blind. And then when he got
- 22:59Speaker 1: his sight, there was a dispute over whether he was
- 23:03Speaker 1: the same person or not. Because God can deliver you
- 23:09Speaker 1: so well that people don't believe your testimony.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Amen. I'm going to say that again.
- 23:17Speaker 1: God can deliver you so well that people don't believe
- 23:21Speaker 1: your testimony.
- 23:25Speaker 2: We'll be right back after this.
- 23:28Speaker 1: The emptiness of an open heart creates a cavity for
- 23:32Speaker 1: God to fill. But a closed mind never receives anything
- 23:36Speaker 1: from God. The only difference between you and the person
- 23:39Speaker 1: you admire is the perspective they have on life.
- 23:42Speaker 4: When the one who gave you sight says, follow me.
- 23:45Speaker 4: Let me lead the way. It's time for Blind Faith.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Don't allow people to anchor you down as an albatross
- 23:52Speaker 1: around your neck and leave you limited so that they
- 23:54Speaker 1: can have fellowship and you can have failure. If you
- 23:57Speaker 1: are disciplined in your perspective, you will be victorious in
- 24:02Speaker 1: your outcome.
- 24:02Speaker 4: For helping us reach others with your best gift, we
- 24:04Speaker 4: would like to give you Blind Faith, four insightful messages
- 24:07Speaker 4: on DVD. And as a bonus, receive pecking orders on DVD.
- 24:12Speaker 4: With a 2013 photo calendar reminding you that God wants
- 24:15Speaker 4: to position you for impact, expose you to powerful experiences,

- 24:30Speaker 1: I am so excited to be able to offer something
- 24:33Speaker 1: for your entire family. Yes, woman dollar loose and man
- 24:37Speaker 1: power are going to converge in the city of Dallas
- 24:40Speaker 1: at the same time. But not only that, we are

- 24:46Speaker 1: activities for your family.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Come to Dallas, Texas.

- 25:27Speaker 1: God's been good to you. God has sustained you He's
- 25:34Speaker 1: touched you. It's undeniable. He's been there for you or
- 25:43Speaker 1: you wouldn't be here this morning. But he wants to
- 25:49Speaker 1: know you. He wants to have a relationship with you,
- 25:55Speaker 1: a relationship that is not based on your blindness. He
- 26:00Speaker 1: wants you to come into an eye-opening experience And he
- 26:07Speaker 1: told me to tell you that he's been there all
- 26:13Speaker 1: the time. All while you were stumbling around in the dark,
- 26:23Speaker 1: trying to find your way to the pool, trying to
- 26:25Speaker 1: get yourself together, trying to get yourself up. He's been
- 26:28Speaker 1: there all the time. He's there when you got your blessing,
- 26:33Speaker 1: when you got your big job, when your eyes popped open,
- 26:35Speaker 1: when you found one. He was there all the time.
- 26:40Speaker 1: But just because you've been blessed by him doesn't mean
- 26:43Speaker 1: that you know him. He wants to reveal himself to
- 26:51Speaker 1: you in a more intimate way. He wants you To
- 27:00Speaker 1: allow his goodness to bring you to the cross. He's
- 27:07Speaker 1: been good to you. This Sunday is your Sunday. I
- 27:13Speaker 1: don't know who you are. I may not ever have
- 27:15Speaker 1: another Sunday to reach you. But the Lord gave me
- 27:17Speaker 1: this message for you. He wants to know you. He
- 27:24Speaker 1: wants you to know him. He's brought you through some
- 27:28Speaker 1: close calls and some dangerous places. And through some accusers
- 27:31Speaker 1: that threaten to destroy you, he's brought.
- 27:33Speaker 2: You through some tough stuff. It's time.
- 27:36Speaker 1: This is the time. This Sunday morning is your time.
- 27:39Speaker 1: I don't care if it's just one person. Whoever you are,
- 27:42Speaker 1: you are important enough to God that he's been talking
- 27:44Speaker 1: to me all week about you.
- 27:47Speaker 2: This is your Sunday.
- 27:50Speaker 1: I'm out of time, but it's been delightful to share
- 27:52Speaker 1: the principles and concepts and to use the biblical messages
- 27:56Speaker 1: to kind of set you on course for what God
- 27:59Speaker 1: is going to do in your life and in your spirit.
- 28:02Speaker 1: You cannot spend another year waiting for everything to line
- 28:05Speaker 1: up for you to go forward. You can't blame your
- 28:08Speaker 1: history for not grabbing your destiny. The blame game is over.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Walk by faith, not by sight. Let's get to stepping.
- 28:17Speaker 1: You and I, we got some stuff to do this year.
- 28:22Speaker 1: This is the potter's touch.
